We sat outside, right next to the river, the music was nice, and the whole atmosphere is very cute. The homemade iced tea tasted amazing. I expected more from the dishes based on their descriptions and price. The menu itself has a lot of similar items, but there are some extra dishes on a blackboard (i would appreciate if they printed those out to see at our table). What the others ate looked great, i got hungry quick after the salmon. The service was fine, and our food arrived pretty fast.

I went here with my friends after we ate at the pizza place next to it the day prior. We where the 3rd guests arriving a few mins after opening last Sunday for lunch. We got our drinks fast and they where really good lemonades. But then we had to wait 1 hour and 10 mins for the food! Other people that arrived later got the food earlier! There was no sorry nothing and the waiter was rude too. Letting us wait for paying and ignoring us. Also there’s a markup of 17% which 12% are for service that you don’t get. The food is nothing special, especially for the price in Hungary. Not bad but average. I recommend going somewhere else. For the restaurant I hope you’ll work on the service and the staff. Idk why our waiter had tables on the opposite area outside. That makes it worse to keep customers in few and in handling the orders.

It took one hour from ordering until we got our food, unfortunately the cheese i‘ve ordered was more like rubber then actual cheese. The homemade Lemonade was very good though!

Really good place to dine in on the river line. The waiters are really nice. They don't speak so much English but they are happy to help you in any way. You can opt for the English menu. The burgers are really tasty and you don't have to wait much for the food to come.

I had a three course dinner here. It was quiet, but the waiter was friendly and the food was delicious. I started with chicken liver brûlée with pomelo, hazelnuts and homemade bread. It was interesting and an adventure from my usual starters. Than I had stuffed Jerusalem artichoke, pak choi , red onion , hemp seed and vegetable jus. Yet again, something I never tried, yet I was really happy to do so this time. I finished it off with acai honey French pastry with lavender and pear. I must say this was a unique experience for a very good price, compared to the capital. I can only hope I can come back this summer with my extended family. Thank you very much! By the way , I love the bathroom;)

wow! might be the best restaurant experience I had in Hungary. The service was very kind, the food was as fresh as it gets, with a very detailed taste profile! I very much enjoyed the young pea sprouts as an additional treat. I wish there would be at least one dedicated vegan main dish; the menu is focused on meat with some vegetarian options.

they don’t seat you inside unless you have a reservation even tho the place was practically empty. So we were required to sit outside as the only table. Additionally, all of the food was a little too heavy on the salt.

As for the environment, it is very pleasant here but what was not so pleasant is unfortunately the food pizzas were average but it depends on preferences. What I did not understand and still do not understand is when I ordered two portions of spagetti carbonara how is it possible that one tastes good and the other is unsalty and tastes like scrambled eggs. This is a premium restaurant so I would expect that the price would not include a tip because I have been in luxury restaurants and even in michelin restaurants I find it rude but so it is possible that it is customary in Hungary but 13% seems to me quite kor when you go there with your family for a nice lunch. I understand that there could be some exception so I don't give 1* but still it seems bad for a luxury restaurant.

The dried Tomatoes in the green salad were delicious. The Pizza was ok to good, the desert was good. Nit a bargain but ok. The service was really good. I liked it, but no must do.

Whoever is going to Veszprem should have a meal in Johnny's Bistro.. Staff are so kind and friendly, they speak English.. the menu is full of amazing options.. we were a group of ten people where the place is small and doesn't have a table for this number of people.. but they manage to make a place for us.. we had different kinds of mexican burrito and other amazing meals for reasanable prices.. everything was great, we all liked it.. Scam avoid!!! I paid by credit card and they AUTOMATICALLY charged 4.5% currency exchange rate fee and booked in EUR instead of Forint! I have not been asked to apporve this -as customary in other shops, - seemed to be an automatic setting for foreig credit cards! This is cheating! I assume this is also an illegal practice!!! In addition: Bad, extremely slow, unfriendly service, has to be reminder to bring what has been ordered such as drinks. All workers look overworked tired bored and hating their life.

The food here was delicious. We each had different burgers, they were amazing. The portions sizes are very generous too. I would definitely recommend coming here. The toilets were a bit grubby and needed attention and some of the staff didn’t seem to be very happy!! Other than that, it was a good experience.

Decent coffee and well placed if you want to stop and grab your caffeine fix. They have a lot of unhealthy fast food items if you are hungry.

The food was all right, burger patty may have been a tad bit overcooked, and the potatoes were somewhat boring, but overall both the burger and Chill's take on the cordon bleu were delicious and portion size was also just fine. The service was outstanding, attentive and very friendly, and the atmosphere of the place is also spot on. The menu still has a number of dishes to try (we didn't even start to read the pizza section, the rest of the menu offered so many tempting choices.) Husband and I visiting from Belgium. We were recommended to come here for dinner. The service was friendly but a little slow. We ordered two appetisers and both had rare ribeye. For some reason it took over 40 minutes for our food to come out. We weren’t in a rush but that’s a pretty long wait for food. We were on keto so did not consume the bread or potatoes but the bread seemed quite hard. The potatoes were good though, tried a small bite. The ribeye was great though and done properly. The sauce that came with it was not to our liking but it wasn’t bad. The Caesar salad had bacon in it which made it really salty and wasn’t necessary. The steak tartare was also good and is a group appetiser especially with all the bread. There was indoor and outdoor seating. We will be back. The gin selection looked great and want to come while not on keto to try the gins and other food.

The food I had was tasty: fried camembert croquets as a starter followed by a 300g rib-eye steak with fries and a green pepper sauce. Definitely worth the money. Was very bad. Sorry 😣 Had vermicelli noodles with seafod and egg pasta with seafood. Vermicelli was all stuck in one gunk and i had to bite it from one piece. Egg noodles was like a simple spaghetti. Seafood was non existing. Advertised as "best seafood" was small shrimpies which were overcooked and not fresh at all. Every other item was extra. Asked for mushrooms and barely found any in the food. Overall, very overpriced place with average food. Concept of "Pad Thai" place did not seem to be working in this plce. But hey, hope you can figure out the flow as it was just a first week of opening.
