Tavern
Tasca 1900 is a restaurant that was discovered by a couple using maps to find a place to eat. Despite the language barrier (they only spoke Spanish with some English), the kind server took the time to explain every dish on the menu. The food and service were exceptional, making it the best dining experience since arriving in Tenerife.
This is that local hidden gem that you are looking for. 5 stars not fair and not enough for this place. It is by far the best food we had not only on this island but in a long time. We will drive again from north of the island just to eat here again. It is a small place and is you want to support locals and also eat good there you go. Also we highly recommend to try cheesecake, will not be disappointed.

Home made Spanish food, I was expecting more from the food, nothing special if I have to be honest. Two stars for the service, they don’t have a written menu but just on the board, and more of all, they don’t speak English, it was hard to understand what they say and what they offer in the menu. I liked the small village and the place, great music and atmosphere.
Ale — Google review
This locale is a big surprise. All the dishes were sensational. Even the fried beans were delicious. The mango octopus and squid were prepared superbly. The croquettes were so good that I didn't manage to take a picture. The lack of an international menu is a slight problem, but I guess that adds to the charm of this establishment.
Piotr Z — Google review
Great local food. You should make a reservation, because it can be full.
Diego W — Google review
Food is good. The menu is rather small and focused solely in pork. Which is fine in itself, but starters/tapas were more exciting to us than the actual main courses. Worth the trip though, the area and town is very nice.
Mykyta B — Google review
Local spanish/canarian restaurant, no English. It may appear as a secluded bar just behind the main town square, but it's only a facade to a great kitchen with friendly service. We had the mango gazpacho, fried beans, grilled goat cheese, and the pork cheeks, which we all recommend. We traveled around tenerife and la palma, but this restaurant was the best! Hidden gem💎
Marick M — Google review
What an amazing hidden gem! Great, authentic and full of flavours. The originality of the dishes blew me away. We took the tempura string beans which was the best. Then the aubergines, crispy and drizzled with honey, the ferrero rochers which is dried red blood covered in nuts with spicy mango salsa. And finally croquettes. 100% recommend!
Krittika S — Google review
They don’t speak english that well, but they are very helpful and trying to help you order. If you can speak some spanish and would like to have some great food, you should come here.

Nestled in the heart of Mount Teide, Restaurante Piedras del Teide is a charming eatery that perfectly captures the essence of Canarian culture. After an adventurous day exploring the stunning landscapes, this restaurant offers a delightful respite with its authentic Spanish ambiance. Diners can indulge in a variety of dishes, from flavorful starters like Italian bruschetta to hearty vegetarian options and succulent meat selections such as Chuleton de vaca madurado and chuleta de cerdo.
Lovely cute restaurant with a whole lot of culture and soul. If you want authentic Spanish setting on mount teide look no further. Had an Italian bruschetta for starter, vegetarian dish for main and a lovely lemon mousse for dessert, this meal was part of an Tenerife stars and star gazing excursion provided by smile excursions.

A place for meat lovers 😋 Chuleton de vaca madurado was delicious, one of the best on Tenerife! On the second visit we tried chuleta de cerdo- juicy and crispy! And also very fresh, great cooked! Everything we tried was very tasty!! Super service! Thanks a lot!👏😊

Very nice and cozy place. Typical canarian food, delicious meat and very good local wine. I would definitely visit this restaurant once again! 😍
Gelena J — Google review
Went to the restaurant quite hungry after a long trip to the Teide. Have ordered Soup and two main meals (actually marked in menu as starters) as well as local wine. All of the items was delicious and worth paid money. Additionally to the excellent food and drinks we had a chance to enjoy folk musi, kind waiters and sheff. Certainly recommend to choose this place to enjoy your lunch or dinner!

Restaurant
Basque restaurant
M.B Martin Berasategui is a renowned Michelin-starred restaurant located at the luxurious Ritz-Carlton Abama. The restaurant offers a fusion of Japanese and Basque cuisine, showcasing the culinary expertise of chef Martin Berasategui. With an extensive wine cellar boasting over 500 labels, diners can indulge in a diverse range of flavors.
The decor of the restaurant are simple yet cool and modern. The staff is really prepared, knowledgeable and nice. As soon as we arrived they introduced themselves to us and offered an aperitif as part of the experience (4 different dishes), we then moved to the main restaurant room to have dinner. We tried The Great Classics menu with wine pairing, if you love wine I really recommend to do the wine pairing. The wines were really unique compared to other michelin star restaurants we have tried. Once we finished our menu, we were invited to seat back in the room where we had the first aperitif and they presented us the sweet cart called the petite four, you can choose few sweets directly from there, I loved it!
Vicky P — Google review
The food is nice and interesting. We liked our mains (turbot and lamb), the apple tart, and the bread service. It was enough food to feel full at the end. However, there were a few things that we didn’t love. The service is very proper and the servers seem occupied with table manners and synchronized serving etc., but it seemed like they were so busy trying to get everything “right” that they were not fully present. They move you through rooms during “the experience” like musical chairs, so you have a bunch of different servers during one meal for different things. It’s also very disappointing (borderline shocking for a fine dining restaurant) that our reservation asked us for our occasion (proposal celebration - we got engaged yesterday!) but there was zero acknowledgment. Not sure why they would ask for that info upfront and then totally ignore. Another weird thing was when we had an unexpected charge on the bill for us splitting an appetizer, the server asked us if there was anything he could do instead of just offering to waive the couple-euro fee. He did waive the fee in the end, but it was a surprising way to address the situation. The decor and ambiance reminded us of a cruise ship. It’s strangely brightly lit and the seating is all in open couches. Few windows. There’s a big console in the middle of the dining room that looks like a buffet table. There’s no sense that you’re on the beautiful island of Tenerife. It’s really, really quiet. It also wasn’t busy at all. We liked the food, but because of the high price and those drawbacks, would not come back.
Emma L — Google review
We were excited to try MB but left feeling disappointed on several fronts. The atmosphere was clinical, and while the service was efficient, the style of the servers felt detached, with more emphasis on procedure than on guest experience. We chose the Great Tasting Menu, which proved mixed: a couple of standout dishes (the eel and lamb) shone, but others seemed overly complicated, as though they were trying too hard. The wine pairing was generally enjoyable, though a few unusual selections (presumably by design) were quite difficult to drink. The obligatory smoke effects made an appearance, and the dinnerware was undeniably beautiful. Overall, however, it was a disappointing—and very expensive—experience.
Martine — Google review
It was a quiet Thursday evening on a first seating..and we had the most spectacular service! We were warmly welcomed by the beautiful hostess, and were seated at the salon for the starters. We also got a great recommendation from the sommelier. After which, we were led into the main dining area. Very clean and minimalistic, scandic design which pops from the salmon pink architecture of the resort. The staff were absolutely amazing (Bryan and Dennis *?*) who made sure we were looked after. It felt like 30 minutes even though we sat there for 2 hours! The presentation was terrific and the staff showed genuine care about our entire experience ❤️ I think it's important to note that; living in CPH, we have great restaurants & food all over and it's quite hard to experience something memorable. As for the food, take a look 🤤💕🥂 try it and be impressed! Through out the experience, a cart of curated cheese and bread is rolled out. The foie gras and tuna tartar was my absolute favorite and the Millefeuille with smoked eel was sooo creative! The surprise for me was the lukewarm vegetables, they made me enjoy my greens 💚 not really big on desserts but the apple tart was superb! They also surprised me with a chocolate mousse cake in the massive birthday cake with the candle!
Catherine A — Google review
Came here with a group of 5 and when we first arrived we were excited for the experience. The appetizers and drinks upon arrival were relatively tasty and the starters were delicious BUT we were disappointed and shocked when the entrees were served. The steak and the suckling pig were both extremely dry and overcooked and the sea bass was tasteless and not what you would expect from a Michelin star restaurant. We never send food back but my wife could not even chew the steak so we asked for a recook, somehow something got lost in translation and the recooked steak was even worse. The desserts were no better, the apple tart and corn ice cream thing was absolutely not what you would expect from a restaurant that claims to be of a high caliber. The lighting and atmosphere of the setting has that of a conference room with lights that are way too bright. Some of the servers seemed to understand the assignment while others were abrupt and unprofessional. Overall the experience was interesting but I would never recommend this place as there is nothing that stands out and for the price is definitely not worth it. We have been to multiple Michelin Star restaurants in multiple countries and this one was by far the most disappointing.
Cassean B — Google review
Ok so not what I was expecting from a 2 star Michelin restaurant. The food is very good but certainly not any better than some of the other food we had in Tenerife or the Ritz Carlton Abama and for the price it only gets a 3 star rating on here for me . The decor is very modern but the lighting is not very ambient and quite a harsh white clinical lighting . Very odd. The service was not particularly great and as the restaurant got more busy the waiters and waitresses got overwhelmed . I heard multiple customer complaining that they did not get offered drinks and drinks were not topped up. We had an open bottle of water that we could not reach and the waiters didn’t once come and refill. These are service basics that you get in non Michelin restaurants. Some of the food was great such as a bread made from puff pastry which I would love to have again but nothing else really stood out . Food however looked very artistic and beautifully presented.
Zaen J — Google review
This was my first 2 star Michelin experience and albeit I'm not normally a fan of fine dining, we decided to treat ourselves. For me, the food was probably not to my personal taste but this was so much more than just food. This was an experience. One I won't forget. The staff were incredible, I put 4 stars but it's more like 4.5, bar a few tiny tiny issues they were knowledgeable, attentive, friendly and warm and quick like lightening considering they had quite a few tables to tend to at a high level of service. The food looked and was presented incredibly well. I will admit my taste is more steak and potatoes than haute cuisine but it was so interesting to see how everything was presented and you could tell the amount of work gone into these dishes was exceptional The restaurant itself has a fabulous relaxed chic neutral atmosphere. The wine suggested by our waiter was delicious and the whole experience from aperitif to petit four at the end was divine. The head chef presents himself at each table to check how the experience is. At nearly €650 plus tip for 2, this was all about the experience for me. Well done.
Dean Q — Google review
Fabulous experience and a must if you can afford it! No wonder they earned 2 stars as the gastronomic experience was out of this world, service and staff is a top notch! The presentation was absolutely beautiful, and wine pairing is recommended! Set beautifully in Ritz Carlton, a very romantic, high class experience you’ll want to repeat if your pocket can afford it! Japanese restaurant
Akira Back Tenerife is a culinary gem that showcases the innovative spirit of its namesake, a former professional snowboarder turned Michelin Star chef. This modern Japanese restaurant invites diners into a sleek and stylish atmosphere where every detail is meticulously curated to enhance your dining experience. The focus here is on beautifully presented dishes that are as much a feast for the eyes as they are for the palate.
We had a lovely a la carte dinner here. Some of the best sushi I’ve had and a great atmosphere. We sat at the sushi bar and enjoyed watching the chefs at work.
K. W — Google review
Absolutely incredible experience from start to finish. The service was excellent, Antonio went above and beyond to make our experience special. We got to try so many lovely wines local to the Canary Islands, which paired perfectly with the rolls we ordered. One of the best Japanese meals we’ve had, with exceptional flavours and textures. A special note to Angel, Jorge and Oscar for making our dining experience really amazing.
Harriet O — Google review
We got a cocktail in the terrace before dinner, it was a perfect place to enjoy good a nice cocktail alongside a dazzling sunset. Then dinner inside, the atmosphere of the restaurant is unbeatable, cozy and intimate. The service there is very attentive. Food is truly Michelin star standard, it was one of the most luscious meal I’ve had the privilege of experiencing.
Mai L — Google review
It does NOT have Michelin start, it seems that the restaurant wants to confuse people. We had upgraded tasting menu. Food was very average for high prices. No wow effect whatsoever, interior is old too, and we could not eat some dishes because of how bad they tasted. Attached photo is of their most “famous” main - tiny and horrendous. Out of all Tenerife and Ritz restaurants, Akira Back was the worst - we did not expect it. Do not waste your money and time, do not recommend.
Di L — Google review
Had high hopes for this restaurant but the food was very underwhelming to be honest and frankly not deserving Michelin in my opinion. Despite the above mentioned the quality of the produce and the freshness of all the seafood were still on point. I especially enjoyed the prawn dish, the sushi, and the pork. However the dessert was something I didn’t enjoy at all, one of the components was very bitter even the sickly sweetly parts of the dessert couldn’t balance that and the other bits as I said was just overly sweet and had no other aromas. The service was good but the price was not justified by the overall flavours in my opinion
Yanners — Google review
Amazing experience. The entire Kabuki dinner is really something you should try. The food is great, the service is very professional with a human touch. Everything you would expect from a 🌟 restaurant. We had the tasting menu and in the order of the pictures. There was not one bad or simi good course, they were all great. We will be back. Great car service back and forth to RC. A must visit.
Peter Ø — Google review
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10,000/10 – Perfection from Start to Finish This restaurant truly deserves every bit of praise. From the moment we walked in, the service was impeccable — warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without being intrusive. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, offering thoughtful recommendations and ensuring every detail was just right. And the food? Absolutely phenomenal. Every dish was beautifully presented, bursting with flavor, and clearly made with the freshest ingredients. You could taste the passion and precision in every bite. It’s rare to find a place where everything — from starters to dessert — is consistently exceptional, but this spot nailed it. Not a single complaint. Just pure culinary bliss and flawless hospitality. I’d give it more than 5 stars if I could. An unforgettable experience that raises the bar for dining out. We’ll be back — again and again.
Natalie L — Google review
We had a wonderful overall dining experience. Tasting menu is a must, similar to other michelin restaurants, but this is not your standard sushi omakase experience. The Japanese and Spanish fusion is done very intelligently. Presentation is top notch, and flavors lean more Spanish.

Nestled in a charming hillside town on the west coast, Restaurante Las Goteras is a hidden gem that beckons meat lovers from near and far. This rustic eatery may not boast flashy decor or polished service, but it more than makes up for it with its mouthwatering offerings.
We have been going to Las Goteras for a few years now and the food has always been brilliant. The waiters were so professional and helpful. The meat display at the meat counter is mouthwateringly good. We always go up there when we fancy a meat feast. The starters are delicious. But the main causes are large so it might be an idea to share one mains between 2 people. This restaurant gets really busy in the evening, when we got there there were lots of people waiting for tables. So I highly recommend phoning them to make a reservation.
TheIona2009 — Google review
We were searching for an authentic, traditional warm restaurant with a local feel to it—something a bit further off the beaten track, featuring amazing food and smiley locals. We found it all and more in this gem of a place. With a beautiful rustic interior, a charming courtyard seating area, and a team of extremely professional waiters, the place is truly unforgettable. The food was fantastic, the meat fresh and spicy, and the bill surprisingly low. One of the best experiences I’ve had during my stay in Tenerife. Make sure you try the mushrooms – both the grilled wood ear mushroom and well as garlic champignons are to die for.

Restaurante las Estrellas is a casual dining spot that offers typical Canarian dishes, making it a great place to experience local cuisine. While the food, including grilled meats and generous salads, is enjoyable, what truly sets this restaurant apart are the breathtaking views. Situated on the edge of a mountain overlooking a pine forest and coastline with three neighboring islands in sight, it's no wonder that hikers, bikers, and day-trippers are drawn to its plain yet charming confines.
Exactly what we needed after a 5h tour in the Teide area. Food was simple and really well made; very tasty. Service was friendly and super quick. And the panoramic view is spectacular.

Flies everywhere. Sorry the food was disgusting and way too salty. We had to refuse to eat. I only had 1/2 chicken, water, potatoes and it costed 18,08 euro. Unbelievable. Typical tourist trap.

Stopped here during a rainy and foggy climb up Tiede. What a pleasant surprise! Food was outstanding and very reasonably priced. Everything we ordered - the Roasted chicken, Mushroom in Garlic, Chickpea Soup- was stellar. Even ordered a crusty bread roll to sop up the heavenly garlic oil 💕. Sangria was also excellent- flavorful and thankfully not overly sweet. Even had strawberries and peaches that you don’t see elsewhere. Service was super friendly and helpful. And Maria, the Robo-Server, was a fun bonus! Highly recommend!

The meeting point closed several months ago and has now been transformed into a café called "Preciosa," owned by a new Belgian proprietor. This establishment is known for its excellent coffee and delicious homemade pastries, which are always fresh. Additionally, they offer a selection of pizza served by the slice, sandwiches, and hamburgers. The staff is friendly, the food is of high quality, and the prices are reasonable.
BEST FOOD WE’VE HAD IN TENERIFE We were fortunate that we have a friend who grew up in Tenerife and he recommended this place and took us there. There were 15 of us spread over a few tables. What a nice place to visit in Guía de Isora when passing by! The people working there are extremely friendly and helpful. The food served by the kitchen is really good and there's a big variety of local foods to choose from. The portions are also big so you cannot leave this place hungry. There's also nice space to sit - both in more social area and if you need more quiet time. I would definitely recommend

Restaurante Brasas de Chirche is a charming family-run restaurant located in a small mountain village in Tenerife. The roads leading to the restaurant are winding and narrow, adding to the adventure of getting there. The owner is known for being friendly, although they may indulge in some drinks on certain days.
We were looking for a local and unusual place and found it. A very authentic rural restaurant. We ordered grilled shrimps and garlic bread with sauces. Surprisingly, the shrimps were very fresh and tasty. We also tried a local cake with cream and sweet sauce as a dessert. Thanks to the owner for delicious dishes and excellent service.

We liked the food - it was very tasty!!! Atmosphere - authentic Spanish village, must be tolerant to cleanliness, style, etc. For us it was very interesting experience, we quested how much the owner had drunk, but all food we ordered was very good!

Sopa de pescado y mariscos and carne de cabra con papas arrugadas were delicious. The white eine from Vilaflor was very good. And Conchi the cook shared with us the receipt for the soup, she chated with us, she is a very sympathetic and positive person. We will definitely return.

Restaurant is located in a small mountain spanish village. The roads up there really bendy and narrow ( glad I did not have to drive there in the dark) Restaurent is great and owner very friendly ( also quite drunk by the time we left. We went on a Sunday, maybe this is the time where they have a few drinks with their friends) Food is really good. They asked if we wanted a few Spanish appetizers and glad we said yes. They were really delicious and the price for the food is good as well

We ordered an omelette, it was reheated, it was still cold in some places. The vegetables were not fresh. The coffee tasted strange. Although we didn't order, they brought spreads and bread, for which they added 5€ to the bill

Excelent home cuisine as at grandma's kitchen. Friendly stuff and atmosphere🙂

Initially we thought what a nice place, the service very kind, recomended some dishes, and we took them. Unfortunately, orange juice we got was not fresh, slightly fermented, we got it changed. Fish soup was very good, but other than that, food was not recommendable, again old potatoes served with ribs. Later, we have asked 3 times for the bill. Just not worth it.

Guachinche Abreu is a charming and cozy spot on the island of Tenerife, offering an unparalleled experience with delicious food and first-class wine. The owners produce their own delightful wine, which perfectly complements the mouthwatering local dishes such as goat and fabadas with chunks of local ham. The welcoming staff adds to the wonderful atmosphere, making it a must-visit for those seeking authentic Tenerife cuisine at affordable prices.
The friendliest staff..owners ever...and wow..what a meal..all washed down with an amazing home made and award winning white wine...the very best place..

We visited this guachinche to try the wine, which was simply amazing. We also had the chickpeas, fried cheese and potatoes, and it was delicious too. Authentic, friendly atmosphere. Edit: After trying other establishments, I must say this one is the best by far! I can't recommend it enough. I'd visit it every day if I could. ✨

I can’t recommend this guachinche enough. Just go. This is the real authentic Canarian experience. Try the goat—honestly try everything. The wine is delightful, and refreshing. The vibe is so fun, the staff is warm hearted and has the best sense of humor. Thank you so much for having us ❤️

Delicious food to accompany the 1st class wine in our favourite Guachinche. Charming friendly people complete the wonderful atmosphere. We just keep going back!
Marion W — Google review
I wrote a great review of this wonderful place a month ago. I’m writing again because we just got another takeout dinner from Abreu tonight, our last night on the island. We’ve been here 7 weeks. Tonight sealed the deal! These good people really know how to cook Guachinche, make great wine, and be incredibly welcoming and nice! We had goat for two again, a serving of fabadas with chunks of local ham, and some Canarian flan. Everything was soooo soooo good. Like the last time, the goat was the best ever, very tender and falling off the bone in a great Canarian sauce. And the fava beans and flan were delicious, too. We’ll definitely come here again next year, and more than once. Excellent all around!!

Restaurant
TXOKO by Martin Berasategui is a delightful homage to the vibrant Basque culinary tradition, focusing on tapas and pinchos with a creative twist. Nestled near The Ritz-Carlton, Abama's El Lago pool, this restaurant offers not only exquisite dishes but also a picturesque setting that enhances the dining experience. With an emphasis on collaboration among local teams across his establishments at the resort, including M.B and Melvin, Berasategui showcases his commitment to culinary excellence.
We dined here multiple nights during our stay for dinner, staff were great and the food was really exceptionally good! In particular the desserts (Lemon Tart and the Rice Pudding!) We would highly recommend
James R — Google review
Absolutely do not recommend. Terrible service, you will be ignored the whole time and you’ll have to wait an hour for your food! We had to wait 20 minutes for the waiter to write down the order AND 48 minutes for a salad in the photo! Restaurant was 1/3 full. Most of the tables are empty and you still get the most horrendous service of the whole Tenerife trip.
Di L — Google review
As we arrived, food was the forefront of our minds and recommended by the hotel staff Txoko was an absolute pleasure . One of the standout dishes I had the pleasure of trying was the lamb shank. It was a true masterpiece. The lamb was incredibly tender, falling off the bone with each bite, and the flavors were a delightful blend of savory herbs and spices. It was comfort food at its finest, and we loved every minute of it. As we had just landed this was what was needed. We were not disappointed. The croquettes were also a highlight of the meal. These little bites of heaven were perfectly crispy on the outside, giving way to a creamy and flavorful filling. Whether you choose the traditional ham and cheese or one of the other varieties, Dessert - French toast, there are no words The service was excellent, with a knowledgeable and attentive staff that added to the overall dining experience.

Great restaurant with incredible service (extra thanks to Gabriel and Anna)! Don’t miss the croquettes and Iberian pork main.

Zero stars. This was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve ever had, especially at a Michelin restaurant inside the Ritz-Carlton. After being seated, no one came to our table for over 10 minutes until we asked the hostess to send someone. We placed our order, but after sitting for an hour (watching other tables receive their food that were seated after us) we ultimately left hungry. We ordered salads, steak tartare, lobster rolls, and pasta, none of which were ever served. Instead, the hostess offered to comp us fish and chips from the pool snack bar, an insulting gesture given the circumstances. When I asked to speak with a manager, I was told there wasn’t one available. For a restaurant of this caliber, the lack of service, accountability, and basic hospitality is unacceptable.
Corynn A — Google review
Beautiful food, nice atmosphere and lighting by the swimming pool in the evening and very friendly staff. The fried hake dish on the specials menu was very tasty , flaky & juicy fish. Would love to have again! My wife had the Wagu cheeks and they were also great.
Zaen J — Google review
It was our second time here after we’ve been satisfied with our experience last year. However we got disappointed, the service was really bad and we got ignored most of the time while other tables were served well. Out of 2 hours we were here, we’ve spent approximately waiting more than 1 hour for someone to take our order and to get the bill. The dessert was also only half of the size of last year, which we were most excited about. Can’t say anything negative about the food itself but the whole experience was so disappointing. We thought we saved best for last but it was actually our worst experience here this time.
Kim M — Google review
Avoid for lunch- chargrilled octopus with grilled veg would have been measly even if it were a starter and for €24 an absolute rip off. Ditto for pork sliders which were all fat. Service friendly, but cumbersome. Ages to be seated. Have given 2 stars as the margarita cocktail was good.

Verde Mar is a restaurant that takes a vegetable-forward approach to its home-style cooking, with an emphasis on fresh produce and locally-sourced meats and fish. The menu offers simple preparations that allow the quality of the ingredients to shine. The staff is helpful in guiding diners through the menu, suggesting smaller plates and main meals for a satisfying dining experience. While the focus is on vegetarian and vegan options, there are also choices to add fish or meat as accompaniments.
We had a great experience with our family of 4. The food was delicious, inventive, and well balanced. We took 2 veggie starters, 2 mains and 2 protein supplements. All were great, also if you would go without the fish/ meat. We had an amazing white wine (Tameran) from the Canaries to pair our dinner. The hotel restaurants offer really nice kids menus for all tastes (not the regular, unhealthy options). The service was excellent, professional but relaxed, and the pace was perfect. One of the ladies spoke French, which the girls really liked. Definitely recommend!
Lisa C — Google review
Interesting take on classics, with the vegetables being the main dish and the meat the side, instead of the other way round. The location is near the parking lot, so a bit less scenic than other restaurants in the resort, but overall a nice experience.
Bogdan S — Google review
Love the concept of this restaurant. We’ve been a few times and it works for vegans, vegetarians and meat lovers and vegan/vegetarian curious diners. The menu is mainly vegan and veggie but with side dishes and portions of meat and fish dishes. Everything is seasonal, local and organic. Dishes are creative and flavourful. Seasoning is in the dressings on the dishes. In this review I cannot say the word delicious enough! Dishes are beautifully presented, bursting as much with creativity and colour as they are with flavours. We ordered the bread to begin with aubergine and cheese dip along with air dried veg. To start we had the tempura of spring onions served with green mojo sauce on the side. and the roasted carrot and beetroot. For our main dishes we ordered too much food firstly but enjoyed every morsel. The sweet potato with roasted corn topping and a hummus. The roasted cauliflower. The canarian chicken and the tuna. One side would have been plenty. My husband ordered the coco passion to finish. Again delicious. You really won’t taste more delicious and flavoursome vegetables. If you get the opportunity do try this restaurant highly recommend it. You won’t be disappointed.
Alison M — Google review
My daughter and I dined here whilst staying at the hotel. It was an excellent choice. From the moment we arrived we were well looked after. An absolute delightful experience. This restaurant is located within the Ritz Abama hotel. Strongly suggest to make reservations. The staff upon arrival was lovely, and accommodating. They paid attending to little details to perfect our dining experience. This restaurant offers LOTS of VEGETARIAN OPTIONS! Everything is fresh. Delicious flavors, we came here twice during our stay in Abama. Would highly recommend.

Everyone at our table was delighted with the food - including those who usually head to a steakhouse, they were seriously impressed by how good vegetarian food can be. Service was also superb apart from after requesting ‘a couple more minutes’ with the menu we had to call a waiter after ten minutes.

Lovely ambience, service and presentation. A little limited menu wise, especially as many dishes only serve 2 people without a single portion option. It’s expensive, chicken Caesar salad €22 and hotdog with no sides a similar price. Good taste and no complaints! I like that they bring the bottle of cava to the table to pour it. The cava is probably one the best value drinks on the menu. Really refreshing and delicious for fans of sparkling wine, and bonus points it’s Spanish. Nice live music Saturday evening.

All really well cooked with reduced balsamic vinegar sauces and sides of salad and chips. There are also special fish dishes of the day, Including some for two to share that are a kilogram of fish to eat! Make sure you are hungry before coming. Recommend to reserve a table or you may have to wait until it's quieter. Thanks for a lovely meal, we'll be back!

The 3 RAICES STEAKHOUSE & WINEBAR in Alcala is a delightful and remarkable restaurant that offers a fantastic dining experience. Situated in the charming town of Alcala, this eatery provides excellent service, a pleasant ambiance, and exceptional cuisine. The starters like the fondue are exquisite, while the cheesecake dessert is simply divine. The house local red wine is not only delicious but also reasonably priced.
Update 2025: Still very good. We had the tasting menu this time. More than enough high quality dishes with Blue fin tuna, Wagyu, Octopus and veal tartare. Molto bene! 2024: This diner in Tenerife was really good. We had bluefin tuna carpaccio and some cheeses and lomo / Iberico sausage. What a great taste! After that secreto Iberico. Perfectly prepared and a wow taste! I can still "taste" it , even when we are back home now :-). The wine was also excellent. The waiter / owner was a bit stressed we thought but that didn't make any difference for our experience. Ok a bit more expensive than other restaurants but certainly worth it.

Incredible food. Well worth the visit. We had some great red wine from Tenerife. I'd recommend booking as it got very busy.

A real secret spot for anyone who loves delicious steaks or perfectly prepared food. An excellent wine selection, great ambiance, and fantastic service create a truly comfortable atmosphere. The desserts are also well worth the price. Not exactly cheap, but worth every penny.

The restaurant was so good that I decided to leave a review. The service was perfect from start to finish — just the way you’d want it to be. It starts with the warm welcome and continues with the attentive service throughout. The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable about their restaurant, and provide information about what they offer without being pushy. They clearly value the quality of their food and stand out from the typical mass tourism spots. Quality over quantity. Making a reservation is recommended, as it’s a rather small restaurant tucked away in a side alley. The price is a bit higher than at the typical tourist spots by the beach, but it’s absolutely worth it. I’d recommend it to anyone who values high-quality meat. To top it all off: the food was fantastic. The meat was cooked to perfection, our fries were homemade, and so were the sauces. Compliments to the entire crew!

First I must say if your a fan of steak this is a must go to restaurant when staying in the area, it’s a lovely little bistro type restaurant very small in size but extremely cosy, the only one thing I would say with the whole experience is that the man in charge needs to be a little bit more smiley with new customers coming through the door. It seemed like it was a chore when seating people and taking their orders with his facial expressions.. other than this we phoned that experience very nice. The food was excellent at the price you can’t really beat. Also the selection of wines that are available was fantastic.
P 2 — Google review
We really enjoyed dining at this restaurant. The restaurant is located on a smaller side street and protected from the sun so it's nice and cool. We loved the decor. Very cute, yet modern. The food quality was excellent. We both had fillet steak, which were cooked to perfection (medium requested). The fries were freshly cut and cooked and they were truly delicious! We also had a salad which was portioned well and the ingredients were fresh and tasty. My wife really enjoyed the house red wine. Flavourful, fruity, and light. The staff were very attentive and all spoke perfect English. I would highly recommend a visit!

Very nice restaurant, friendly and helpful service, food was very good, interesting and reasonably priced wine list. It just loses a star for being over-priced relative to the area. We knew this so it wasn't a problem, but they're being a bit ambitious in their food pricing (think London prices).

Absolutely amazing. I’m so picky with steak but we followed the recommendation and I can say this is the best steak I’ve ever had. For the quality taste and texture the price is absolutely worth it

Nestled in the charming town of Alcala, Restaurante Casa Mon is a delightful haven for seafood lovers seeking an authentic dining experience. With its relaxed vibe and welcoming atmosphere, this eatery specializes in traditional fish dishes that are sure to tantalize your taste buds. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by friendly staff eager to assist you in selecting from their fresh offerings displayed right in the fridge. During my visit just after noon, I was thrilled to be among the first patrons of the day.
We went to Alcala for lunch today and managed to finally try Casa Mon. I have always wanted to have a meal there because the restaurant looks so authentic and friendly. We got there just after 12.30 today and we were the first people there. The waiter was so helpful and friendly, we chose our starter : a whole squid, then main course was half of a local fish that was caught today. Everything was cooked to perfection with lots of garlic and olive oil. The dishes we had were such honest, wholesome food, we totally enjoyed it. We couldn’t finish the potatoes so they wrapped them up for us to take. And the whole meal came to a very reasonable €70. When we come back to Tenerife again next year we will certainly make sure to go to Casa Mon again.

Come, pick fresh fish and enjoy. Simple strong concept and it’s perfect. Nothing to be bettered. If you plan on coming after 7pm better book your table or count extra time for waiting. The servise is quick and prices so friendly for the quality you get there!

AMAZING! I think it was the best fish we had in Spain so far, pulpo a la gallega and the quesillo dessert were also delicious. Will be back for sure!

Great spot for sea food grill. Quantity is the name of the game here. Everything is fresh, clean, cooked very well and quick. This is not fancy-elegant type of restaurant, but all is neat and clean. Besides grill itself fresh, hot buns and sauces are amazing! As a point of improvement, adding a little more transparency to the price would be nice.

Amazing food, the best I've had in Tenerife, not too expensive, but food outstanding. I had the clams in green sauce, absolutely the best I've ever had. Staff are great, service is great and the food is out of this world, oh yeah and there's also an amazing sea view to boot! Definitely worth a try!

We stumbled upon Muelle Viejo in Alcalá when we got hungry around 3 PM and were looking for high-quality food. Alcalá doesn’t offer many options, especially in the afternoon and on certain weekdays, so we were delighted to find this gem. The restaurant is located above the harbor and the swimming area, with an open front facing the sea—offering a breathtaking view. The decor is tasteful and stylish, creating a welcoming atmosphere. We were asked if we had a reservation, which surprised us at this time of day. All window-side tables were taken, but we got a lovely spot in the second row. The food was absolutely outstanding! The octopus, tuna & shrimp salad was a true highlight, and both the mixed salad and grilled fish were also delicious. We immediately made a reservation to return for dinner on another evening. Prices are slightly higher, but the quality and experience fully justify it. A fantastic restaurant in a beautiful setting—highly recommended!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Muelle Viejo is out of this world! Hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. The food was absolutely spectacular — every bite was bursting with flavor, from the freshest seafood to the perfectly cooked paella. Honestly, I’m a little scared to eat anywhere else in Tenerife now because nothing could compare! But what really made it special was the team. The staff were beyond fun — they didn’t just serve us, they celebrated with us. The whole evening turned into pure joy, laughter, and incredible memories. If you’re in Tenerife, run — don’t walk — to Muelle Viejo. It’s the kind of place that makes you fall in love with food all over again.

The food was delicious. The seafood board for two is okay, but maybe a bit small if you’re really hungry. The octopus was very tasty. The lobsters included in the board were on the smaller side. Overall, if you want a nice meal, this is a good place to come. One downside for me was the service – I don’t like when waiters come too often and start clearing plates while you’re still sitting and eating. It felt a bit pushy.

Playa San Juan is located on the southwest coast of Tenerife, the part of the island with the best weather and the warmest water. The 300-meter-long beach has a mix of dark, coarse sand and pebbles. A breakwater keeps the ocean calm, with no strong currents or waves. The gentle slope makes the water easy to enter—safe for children and ideal for anyone who prefers a quiet swim. The beach has a Blue Flag certification for its excellent cleanliness, water quality, safety, and services.

January 2022 it was Delicious! The Tapas is extraordinary good, very well made, everything really fresh with excellent taste. Compliments to the chef Roberto! Now in 2024 we went to the new location of MarSala in San Juan to have again a delicious lunch. We had great starters with the grilled cheese and duck carpaccio. Both with exquisite flavors. As main course we had the mixed paella. This took about half an hour as this is also fresh made and prepared while we enjoyed our starters. The paella was really tasteful and filled with meat, fish and lobster. The dessert was the delicious South American quesillo! All accompanied with really delicious local white wine proposed by the owner who served the meals and kept our glasses full. Again a superb lunch we had with our friends from San Juan.

For dessert, almost there are some kind of it depends on the season and home made😋.

Amazing pearl in the small village. No wander it has been there for so many years. The restaurant is peaceful and looks like tourists do not visit it so often as it is a bit hidd3n. The staff is awesome and helpful. They do not speak English so well but everything can be ordered with pointing fingers and menus come in different languages ( not estonian though - joking ;) ). It is a cosy place to have romantic lunch as we did with the family. The sea food is cooked fresh and in professional manner. The desserts are awesome. Desserts are delicious. And the amount of food- ooh we felt so full when we left. And liminchello they brought with the bill- it was a cherry on top. I would highly recommend this place!

I arrived just after opening on a Sunday. The restaurant is nice, pleasant surroundings and attentive staff. I only had a chicken salad, amended from the original menu to remove the chips and potatoes, which they did without question. The chicken was seasoned and cooked well. Although the menu is brief, I have no doubt that all the food is delicious. Well worth a visit if you find yourself in Alcala :)

Best food in a week's stay in Alcala. A large fillet steak, perfectly cooked with a fantastically good roquefort sauce. The lamb chops were beautiful and soft, the avocado and prawn starter had large proper prawns with texture in 1/2 avocado x 2. A good selecting of drinks and when the bill came we thought they'd missed some stuff. Too cheap for the great quality products we were served.

Amazing find!! HIGHLY recommend!! We were staying at Ritz Carlton and wanted something outside the resort and more local. We were so glad to have come here!!! Greeted by owner upon arrival. Our table was beautifully set up overlooking the sunset. Service was attentive and so fast! Everything was so fresh and cooked to pure French perfection. With the twinkle lights, music playing and sunset, it was a lovely setting. Please support this local gem!!!

Food is pretty average, carpatio was quite plain for taste, goulash was ok-ish, salmon salad was salmon and couple of leafs. The biggest surprise was the bill, besides the standart practise for charging for the bread and butter we didn't order(I guess everyone is uses to that already), they've added 2 EUR for empty plate!!! which we've asked them to bring so we can share the goulash with the kid, who said she didn't want any food.

Excellent and unforgettable experience. A cozy restaurant with the best view you could ask for. We ordered the 7-course set menu and enjoyed every single bite of it. My personal favorite was the aged steak tartar which was out of this world but the rest of the dishes were by far better than anything that we tried on the island so far. We stopped in for a light dinner. The waiter was busy because she was serving alone. She didn't speak much English, but she tried to help. The empanadas were good, the fish soup was full of potatoes, so it was more potato soup than fish soup, but it was good.

My husband and I were passing through this town, and we came here completely by accident, just because there was live music playing (a nice musician plays here on Sundays) and we really wanted to eat, but how surprised we were at how delicious everything was here and how nice the waiter was. After that we visited different restaurants also at random and we didn't like any in this part of the island as much as this one. The price/quality ratio is amazing. In comparison, the food here is even quite cheap. Usually our dinner for 2 would cost ~€30-40, here it is under 20€, and the portions are really good. The food was really delicious, although the dishes are quite simple. I would like to say thanks to the waiter Eduardo, a very nice man, even remembered the languages that my husband and I speak (my husband and I are from different countries), we ended up going back twice more specifically to this restaurant, although it was completely out of our way. If we will have any more holidays in Tenerife we will definitely come back here again. We wish your restaurant success and prosperity!)

The food was amazing and it didn’t cost much. The food tasted really good, especially for the price. If you don’t have much time to eat, I wouldn’t really recommend this restaurant, because you have to wait a little longer than usual; but it’s really worth the wait. The service was good. I’d recommend the empanadas and the seafood pasta, because me and my family enjoyed it!

Very bad. Waiter does not know menu, was very rude. We ordered set for 2 persons with pescado and so on. Thanks God we saw how it should looks like on the picture. Our set was without pawns and big fish. We had to argue with the waiter that our set is not full. Finally we got only prawns in addition. He even didn’t open the bottle of beer for us. We had to looking for a waiter to ask. Not recommend that place.

Brisa Marina Taberna Marinera is a highly recommended restaurant near the ocean in Playa San Juan. The food is delectable, with a wide variety of tasty options available. The standout dish is the mussels, which are truly amazing. Prices at this establishment are affordable, making it an excellent choice for those on a budget. The staff members are friendly and accommodating, ensuring that customers have an enjoyable dining experience.
We lucked into a table for two on a very busy night. The staff were definitely working hard, very busy, but the service was still good. We had tapas, which were all great. Four between the two of us was just enough to leave room for the delicious homemade desserts. The fig mousse was especially nice! It was all very reasonably priced too.

Directly from the airport to this awesome restaurant, we were here last year and we had such a nice food and friendly service AND this year they still have the same quality but more FRIENDLY. Not impresive, should be better. I took scampi which were without any taste and I was sick after. I will not eat scampi for weeks now after that experience. Salad my friends took was also without any preparation, sauce, anything. They just gave us plate with sauces in plastik cubes and among them some was....used by other clients,do not especially nice. Additinally instead of canarian patatoes x2 they gave us doubled fries. But because we didn't see each other for a long time we tried to have nice evening. But the meal wasn't good at all in comparison of the restaurant with always fresh fish they preparing after you choose them, just round the corner. We know and adoreit ,but as usuall there were no free tables that evening. Broda Marina wasn't a good idea. They deserve maybe 3.....

Tasca Tu Rincon is a charming café-restaurant nestled by the sea, offering an authentic taste of local cuisine in Tenerife. My friends and I were pleasantly surprised by the exceptional quality of the food, which was worth every Euro spent. The friendly staff made us feel right at home, even going the extra mile to keep pesky flies at bay with a burning coil. During our first dinner in Alcala, we enjoyed quick service with delicious starters that included complimentary olives and warm bread.
Really good service and food. Visited a number of times while staying in the neighbourhood for 2weeks. Recommend for fish lovers, my dad was very happy.

It was our first dinner out in the lovely town of Alcala and my mom said we could dine here every day :) The starters came very quickly and were delicious, we even got olives and warm bread on the house, the paella for 2 was more than plenty and very filling and tasty, as was the sangria. The waiter was friendly and welcoming, made jokes with the guests, all in one a great evening, thinking of going again today :)

I stopped by for take away but they don't offer take away. Still I decided to sit down because i craved sea food. And I did not regret it, because it was the best grilled Squid i had in many years! For me it was the perfect spot for fast and delicious lunch. Mucho gracias!

This lovely little café/restaurant by the sea was mine and my friend’s introduction to the local cuisine in Tenerife... ...And let me tell you the food was absolutely amazing and worth every Euro. The quality was completely unexpected and the beer went down smoothly (€3 for a pint!). The staff were really friendly and welcoming. So much so in-fact that even when the pesky flies annoyed us, they put out a burning coil to fend them off. An accommodation that they really needn’t have put in; but the fact they did made this place that much more classy and worthy of respect. Last but not least, I would say their paella was the best one we had on our trip. And that's very impressive given the places we went to eat. 5/5 I recommend highly if you're in the area. ¡Gracias!

Fab meals! Very nice stuff😉❤️ I highly recconend! Everything fresh, prepared on the spot, while you wait. Mussels or paella are served in a hot pot straight to the table. Nice family atmosphere. I even took a ride with the owner's son to a nearby ATM when the terminal stopped working, such an unexpected surprise, instead of dessert, lol! Really worth to come there. I will be back one day😉❤️

First time we tried here, it was near closing and we were told that they'd prepare us something to eat. It was a little disappointing given the price is a bit higher than most, but we thought that they were probably rushing to close. We tried it again, and although one meal was bigger than expected, the other was very disappointing and only tasted of oil

Freshly made pizzas with a perfect thin crust and generous toppings. The service is so friendly and welcoming, and the cozy atmosphere makes it a great spot for both locals and visitors. Highly recommended

We took two pizzas and wine. The service was quite slow, as there was only one server per the whole terrace full of people, we waited approximately an hour starting from when we arrived to the point when we got our food. The pizzas were tasty with good quality ingredients. The dough was a bit too thin and salty, which I didn't mind that much. It was also well-priced. Generous portion of whine. Nice views from the terrace on the ocean and the sunset. I would recommend it for a casual dinner if you fancy pizza and don't mind waiting a bit.

We had a Calzone and Parmigiana but there is a good choice for any client in pastas and salads! Absolutely lovely ladys working here for years attending people as the restaurant is open for long years here! The inside reform some years ago is great, everything is very good and clean maintained! I am a frequent customer at Dieta Mediterránea, an establishment known for its outstanding service, picturesque scenery, and delectable ice cream. It is not only an ideal spot for a delightful dinner but also offers a mesmerizing view. To ensure you secure a table, it is advisable to make reservations as they tend to be quite busy during the evenings. Additionally, their garlic prawns are absolutely unmatched in terms of taste and flavor; you won't find anything better elsewhere.

Me and my friend tried first time this restaurant, since our usual restaurant was closed. Order octopus which was fine and really fancied nice good salad for 2 so ordered large salad for 9.99€ when the lady brought salad- I had to ask if there is no mistake, it was so small, regret not taking pictures. There was not even half tomato, fin slice, 2 slice fin again red pepper, few green leafs, little onion and carrot - carrot was so little more like1/4 unbelievable. I am vegetarian so I have salad with everything every day so to pay 10€ for that was a shock. For me that was first and last time.

Very friendly service but food can be optimized: olive oil in little fast food bags, potatoes without taste and Pizza with low quality cheese. But local fish which you can see before preparation
Ant M — Google review
We had a mixed experience here. The starter of a tapa of octopus salpicon and a main of vegetarian canneloni were both fine, but the "large " salad costing €9.95 consisted of 8 leaves of lettuce , 3 of the finest slices of tomato I have ever seen, 2 slices of red pepper, 4 ribbons of carrot and some chopped onion. We were so sure we'd been served a small salad by mistake, we queried it with the blond lady who served it, to be told that yes it was the large one. I complained about it asking how they justified the price and all I was told was that no one else had complained about it before. Am I being unfair to say it is a restaurant to which I will never return?

Cafe Pizzeria El Paseo is a delightful gem that stands out for its vibrant atmosphere and mouthwatering dishes. After experiencing overpriced drinks and bland meals elsewhere, visitors find solace in the generous portions and flavorful offerings at this charming eatery. The pizzas are particularly praised for their quality, while the friendly service adds to the welcoming vibe. On special occasions like Christmas Day, when many places are closed, El Paseo remains open to serve delicious meals.
Because of Xmas day not a lot was open, luckily El Paseo was! When we arrived the chef came out to talk to us. He was so friendly and funny! He insisted we took the Pasta Frutti di Mare and Wow!! what a perfect pasta!! It tasted incredible and so fresh! Graci mile!! We left with a full belly and a smile!

We decided to go here on our first night as was getting late. Good to see lots of locals eating here which is always a good sign to me. The pizza base was tasty and there was a good selection of toppings. We had a slight issue when the waiter didn’t understand what we had ordered but was quickly resolved and a correct pizza arrived promptly. Not a lot of atmosphere but you can’t expect that for a restaurant on the road. All went downhill the following evening when my daughter decided to go back and was told by the same waiter that the restaurant was closed, however they then took two more customers in for food. The following evening the elderly waiter, saw us eating at another restaurant and started making chicken noises at us. In an attempt at mocking us as he gave us ham rather than chicken.
Ian P — Google review
We decided to visit Café Pizzeria El Paseo spontaneously in the evening, but unfortunately, the experience was rather disappointing. The atmosphere seemed inviting at first glance, but that was about the only highlight of our visit. The biggest issue was communication. Since I don’t speak perfect Spanish, there were significant difficulties placing my order. The staff didn’t seem very flexible or willing to bridge the language gap, and as a result, I didn’t even receive a main course. Overall, while the location has potential, the service and lack of accommodation for non-Spanish speakers left a lot to be desired. It’s not a place I’d be eager to return to.

Igor B — Google review
Terrible food, shocking service, and an aggressive manager who clearly doesn’t care about customers. This was one of the worst dining experiences we’ve ever had. The clams were gritty, sandy, and completely inedible — a clear sign they weren’t cleaned properly. The mussels came in a big pot but there were only 8, and they were nothing special. We hoped the mains would be better, but it turned into a disaster: over 45 minutes of waiting, dishes arriving 5 minutes apart, fries for the steak only after asking 3 times, and a paella so salty it was impossible to eat. When we raised this with the manager, she was shockingly aggressive and dismissive — even though we stayed calm and gave constructive feedback. Her response? “If you don’t like it, don’t come back.” Staff around her looked embarrassed and even apologized for her behavior. For a family of 10, including kids, this was unacceptable. No gesture on the bill, no accountability, just arrogance. Absolutely atrocious service, mediocre food, and a manager who clearly doesn’t care about customers. Avoid at all costs — there are far better places to spend your money and time.

Nestled in a charming side street, Restaurante Chamaida is a hidden gem that captures the essence of local dining. This family-run establishment, operated by three generations of women, exudes warmth and passion for traditional cooking. While it leans towards the pricier side, diners are treated to an exceptional culinary experience featuring fresh fish selected from a counter and expertly prepared. The standout dish is undoubtedly the Cambrilla fish, fried to perfection with crispy skin and tender meat that melts in your mouth.
Best fish (Cambrilla) I’ve ever enjoyed. Fried to a perfect crispiness with the meat still soft and skin properly seasoned. Padrón peppers and quesillo for dessert were better than other places I’ve tried them. Of two weeks in the Canaries, this was the best meal.

I am a bit disappointed! The food was good (except the shrimps) but the problem was although we reserved a table for 8 people at 8 pm (so not too late) we didn’t have so many choices of fresh fish and seafood. There was only one calamari left and few other things. The waitress was not very nice, didn’t help. If you take a reservation you should have enough fish for the people!

I have read a lot of reviews , most of them were very positive, and a few: negative, but I decided to visit the place myself and make my own mind. It is a restaurant for locals. It is on the pricey side. Food was very good and the fish I have chosen from the fresh counter was weighted before frying but I got the price beforehand, and I accepted it. It is run by the one , whole family and they cook with passion and the old, good way. You ll pay for quality, if you are prepared : you ll not regret. I visited The Flintstones Tenerife Sports-Cafe & Restaurant after reading a positive review and was impressed by their delicious burgers and homemade chips. The atmosphere was lively, with friendly waiters/waitresses and the opportunity to socialize with other customers. The place also offered a variety of sports on TV for entertainment. It's worth supporting this establishment during these challenging times. Additionally, the pub maintained cleanliness standards, as noted by the clean toilets.
Quite simply, I went here because I saw a good review on here. Their burgers are simply the best burger pate I have eaten. The chips are decent home made and far from the “triple fried” attempts to make chips attractive. This place is also good for chatting to other customers and seems a bit of a social pop in hub. Waiters and Waitress very attentive. Worth supporting in these tricky times.

We ended up coming twice on our honeymoon. Much love to them! Try the risotto, ribeye and most definitely the lava cake 🤌🏾🤌🏾

★★★★★ There were 8 of us, and we all agreed: Five stars! B on the Rocks in Alcalá, Tenerife, truly exceeded our expectations. We were a group of eight, and every single one of us agreed this was one of the best dining experiences we’ve had – a solid five stars. The service was outstanding – warm, professional, and attentive. Every dish was perfectly prepared, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The ingredients were fresh, and the attention to detail was 100%. The drinks were also top-notch, and the overall atmosphere was both stylish and relaxed. It was clear that the team behind this place takes great pride in every aspect – from the food to the service to the ambiance. This is a place we have visited now 2 times and would all gladly return to. Absolutely worth it – highly recommended!

Chintumá Taqueria, a Mexican restaurant, offers delicious cuisine and boasts a welcoming and laid-back atmosphere, even when filled with patrons. The establishment provides unique beverages served in stylish glasses. Additionally, if you have dietary restrictions such as being vegan, the staff is accommodating and able to make adjustments to cater to your needs. The food is authentic and reminiscent of home-cooked meals from Mexico itself. With exceptional flavor and presentation, their dishes are comparable to none.
A lunchtime visit sitting outside in the sun. The host was the most wonderful man with good English who also found our attempt at Spanish quite amusing. A wonderfully decorated restaurant with lovely little touches of Mexico everywhere. Even the rest rooms are fancy. The food was very well presented and so tasty. The restaurant is only a short distance from the sea front but worth the little walk.

Amazing place, fair price and delicious food. Carlos has been amazing.. very funny and excellent at his job, even being alone he manage to deliver a very good service to at least 8 tables and for a former waiter/manager I know how hard it is. If you are in South Tenerife you should check this place. 10/10... try the Tacos Secreto Iberico.

Excellent Mexican food, very tasty and full of flavour. Ate there for two evening in a row. The only think that I would suggest is having regular tortilla choice for tacos too. It might be a personal preference, but the hard shells are not my favourite in general, although you could taste they are homemade. Neverthless, the tacos were excellent too as they were and the place is probably the best mexican restaurant on the island. Warmest recommendations!

This is simply a great local restaurant. Describing the atmosphere is not easy, but it felt peaceful, pleasant, and rural. The waiters were very kind and attentive. If you're on the hunt for a delightful dining experience in Tenerife, look no further than Restaurante La Gaviota del Atlántico. This charming family-owned establishment comes highly recommended for its incredible seafood and authentic Italian dishes at reasonable prices. The friendly staff, hailing from Sicily, ensures that every visit is met with warm hospitality and exceptional service. Guests rave about the variety of dishes offered, from perfectly grilled seafood to mouthwatering pasta frutti di mare and traditional paella.
We got the recommendation by Kristina, the owner of our apartment if we would like mariscos (seafood) for an reasonable price, we should go to La Gaviota, it is mucho mucho good. What should we say, a small family owned Italian restaurant. The staff is very friendly and also competent, the food was really great, so it endet up we came 3 times for dinner, and every time, it was really great. First time grilled seafood, second time carpaccio and pasta frutti di mare, third time paella. Really nothing to complain, everything fine! Gracie mille!

Tasca La Cueva in Alcala, Tenerife, is a charming spot that perfectly captures the essence of traditional Spanish dining. Nestled in a rustic setting, this informal restaurant offers an inviting atmosphere where you can savor authentic Canarian tapas. Guests rave about the Iberian ham sliced fresh from the bone and delightful dishes like grilled cheese and garlic prawns. The friendly staff enhances your experience with their warm service, making it feel like home away from home.
We have been here for drinks and dinner. We will be back before we leave for home. Nice little restaurant, quite informal and rustic. Highlight in the Iberian ham sliced as you wait from the bone. It’s amazing 🤩 Grilled cheese and garlic prawns also very good. Vino de casa was excellent and great value @ 3€. Staff are very friendly, the owner was also very chatty albeit in Spanish where my Spanish is not that great 😊.

Incredible dinner and fantastic service. We are staying at a resort in town and walked over for dinner. We sat on the patio and had charcuterie and wine to start, then enjoyed peppers, croquettes, eggs and prawns. The service was perfect and we had a relaxing Spanish tapas meal while we watched the town square get set up for a community dinner. We walked back to the resort along the water while we watched the sun set. This was our favorite experience and best meal of our trip.

The food choice was small. The taste of food could be better. Our 'cerdo fiesta' was too marinated, couldn't finish half of it. The chips were good and tasty. The chicken and tuna croquetas were ok. Restaurant
My preferred dining establishment in Tenerife is Restaurante Bodegón Irache Gara, a charming family-run spot hidden away from the main towns. It exudes an incredible atmosphere and provides exceptional service with a genuinely Spanish/Canarian feel. The cuisine is excellent, accompanied by delightful local wine. The bread served is freshly baked and arrives hot at your table. The portions are generous - even a single salad feels like a feast!
Great place, friendly owners, tasty food, natural ingredients, lovely desserts. Fully recomendable.
Juanmi T — Google review
This seems very much like they bought most of their reviews. The reviews say it's a very popular place and that it's a good idea to book. So we did just that. But we were the only people there during the entire meal even though we were there during the Easter holiday. It was cold and there was no atmosphere. The meat was fine and cooked properly though the fat didn't taste properly and it seemed like an odd cut for the T-bone steak. Everything else was disappointing. The fries were tasteless and not crispy. And they served half a tasteless tomatoe and some garlic rice with the meat. This was also a restaurant who serves you bread you didn't order and made you pay for it.
Line F — Google review
Treat for meat lovers. Steak, lamb chops and pork chop were all delicious. Homemade chips were lovely. Typical canarian restaurant, very cosy inside and helpful staff. The house wine was great, 1/2 litre of white for €4.90 can't be moaned at! We will definitely return.

Our favourite restaurant in Tenerife. Family run with an amazing vibe away from the main towns and tucked away. Fantastic service, super friendly. Seemed authenticly Spanish/Canarian. Food was great with some lovely local wine. Bread was freshly baked and hot when it arrived at the table. Large portions - salad for one is like a table salad! Desserts made in house, had the flan which was incredible. Prices were very reasonable.

Restaurante Lúpulo esencia is a delightful surprise for last-minute bookings, offering amazingly delicious food with beautiful presentation. The chef's unique approach to cuisine includes the use of squid noodles, which are actually made entirely from squid. The restaurant is conveniently located near the beach and promenade, providing a lovely setting for enjoying dishes like rice with lobster. Despite some slow service, the high quality of the food more than makes up for it.
Big surprise on last minute booking. Food was amazingly delicious. Beautiful display. Chef has his own ideas about food. The squids noodles are soooo nice and it’s actually fake noodles, it’s made from squid completely. Very big portions. I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!

We had the lamb shoulder and the local fish. Both were unbelievable. You know it's a quality restaurant when each of the veggies comes out perfectly cooked (my lamb came with asparagus, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, baby beetroot, a slice of pineapple, and a carrot puree). I left nothing on my plate. It's not the typical local establishment. It's white tablecloths, large wine goblets, a decent wine list; just with a small number of covers. They were very accommodating with my 4 year old and made a pasta just for her (which was also really good). Hidden gem. Now to try it's sister restaurant in neighbouring San Juan.

Verona, an Italian restaurant located at Abama resort, impressed customers with its outstanding service, food quality, and ambiance. Patrons were so delighted with their experience that they even canceled other reservations to dine there again. The staff's friendliness and expertise added to the overall enjoyment of the meals sampled. Moreover, guests marveled at the stunning views of the Ritz resort while indulging in delectable dishes.
The view is amazing there when we dined there for dinner. The sky colours is majestic. I ordered the lobster spaghetti which is so yummy and full of flavour. We also ordered wagyu pasta which is equally delicious. I definitely recommend it!
Yawen J — Google review
Service was great and we had a lovely table overlooking the water feature, food was decent, however we thought there could have been more effort to have authentic Italian dishes on the menu (given it is meant to be an Italian restaurant) There was something like one margharita pizza on the menu, and only a couple of pasta dishes, which when came we did not find very good quality. What is even funnier is that there is an Indian themed night planned, in the Italian restaurant- rather than focussing on good Italian food! We did not return to this restaurant again during our stay

This is by far the best restaurant at the Ritz. We wish we would have tried it earlier in our stay but it was a nice way to end our trip. The portions are huge so keep that in mind - we saw a calzone come out that could feed two very hungry men without a problem. To start, we had the Rosemary focaccia and the stracciatella. Both were delicious and went well together. For our mains we had the spicy salmon and the Cacio y Pepe. The pasta was great but the salmon was one of the best salmon dishes I’ve had in the past few years. Lastly, the panna cotta and tiramisu knocked it out of the park. All the dishes we saw being served around us looked equally as good. The service was a bit hit or miss - we had to refill our own waters but the food definitely made up for that. Highly recommend Verona for a couple dinners during your stay at the Ritz or in the area!

La Barrica is a charming and intimate eatery that is family-owned and specializes in authentic cuisine. The portions are generous, the prices affordable, and the flavors are truly delightful. This is not the place for those seeking high-end or fast food as their focus is on taking the necessary time to prepare delicious, freshly cooked dishes. It's regrettable that I could only dine here once during my visit, but I am already planning to return next year because it was an exceptional experience.
Absolutely amazing experience! Delicious local food, bursting of flavours and some complementary fruits from the chef's own garden. Prices higher on bill to those on menu, maybe old card but waiter never mentioned it. Food quality good esp croquettes for starters, but main dish nothing special. Pork steak was good but too fat for me. Restaurante Tasca los 5 sentidos is a hidden gem that invites you into a charming marine-themed ambiance adorned with delightful decorations. The welcoming atmosphere is complemented by an incredibly friendly staff, making every visit feel special. The culinary offerings are nothing short of extraordinary, featuring unique flavors and perfectly portioned dishes that surprise the palate. One standout dish includes a cheese and jelly salad, where what appears to be jellyfish turns out to be a sweet and tangy treat—an unexpected delight!
The restaurant was very welcoming, entering a marine themed background with really cute decorations. The staff was very friendly. The food was TERIFFIC, as all of the flavors were unique, the portions were perfect ( not too big nor too small ) and on each dish there is something very special that you surely did not expect/ ever tasted. On the cheese and jelly salad we thought that is was jellyfish but it turned out to be a sweet and a bit sour kind of circle shaped jelly which was suprisingly good. This place is definitely highly recommended, and the opening hours are very convenient as we couldnt find any opened restaurant and arrived at 2:45 and finished eating at 15: 40. We had a '' Cheese and jelly salad '', an '' octopus salad'', a '' mushroom risotto '', '' bread crackers and roquefort dip '', '' bread with butter and sausage dip '', '' smoked salmon tartar with avocado '', '' King Garlic prawns '', '' a vanilla ice cream and chocolate brownie'', and a '' baraquito '' which is a coffee with alcohool. We spent 81 euros for such a lovely christmas day meal ! ❄️

Alongside its scenic beauty, the mirador also houses a restaurant and a small shop selling local delicacies and souvenirs.
We had lunch at the beautiful restaurant, which nestles in the hills, whilst on a downhill mountain bike tour of Teidi. The food was simple but extremely tasty and the staff were genuinely warming to us. It is off the beaten track but well worth stopping in you are out exploring the wonderful countryside around the business. We had a set lunch which was waiting fir us as we arrived but the menu looked fantastic. It was surprisingly busy which I thought was testament to the business. Regardless of where you sit, the views are fantastic. It was extremely clean, great value for money and there was even a small gift shop. Well worth a visit.

Having spent a great morning up at Teide we wanted some lunch. Popped into this restaurant for a snack and really enjoyed a lovely tasty meal and beautifully presented. A gem tucked around the corner of a mirador. Lots of parking and there was space to sit outside. A bonus. If you are in the area I highly recommend lunch.

Adorable place on the way to Teide. The restaurant has lots of local dishes for a reasonable price with great quality. We tried fried champions, salad with octopus and goat’s meat with Canarian potatoes and each and every dish was very delicious and perfectly cooked.

Such a beautiful place. The view is amazing and invites you to stay, get some coffee/cortado, came down and relaxing your soul. You have to stay at this place!

Lovely little mirador looking out over the historic village of Chirche and out to the ocean There is parking available, easier to get to on the Mount Teide Road the village roads can be quite narrow and winding. It's a stone built look out surrounded by native plants, it's over different heights so perfect for a wander. The mirador is a restaurant and little shop ... the food is good with canarian specials, the shop also sells canarian food items and a few souvenirs You can sit out on a little terrace and enjoy the wonderful clean, fresh Tenerife air while enjoying papas arrugadas and a glass of something cold

Very nice little restaurant overlooking the village of Chirche on days with nice weather you can see all the way down to the ocean. Food tasted very good and there was good size on them. Parking is nearby, just the road up to the resturant can be quite tricky to find if you dont know the area to well.

Fine restaurant in great place. Perfect for lunch while you ale travelling across Teide National Park. Amazing, really amazing view from the roof viewpoint.
Mirek — Google review
The place is perfectly located at the beginning of the mountain highway toward El Teide. Didn’t expect a restaurant with a good view and serving very decent food at normal prices. Will definitely revisit.

Alí Babá Restaurante is a delightful gem that captures the essence of traditional Canarian cuisine. Nestled near a stunning 40-meter cave adorned with striking volcanic rock formations, this eatery offers an authentic dining experience that locals cherish. The menu features freshly prepared dishes, including the beloved rabbit in salmorejo sauce, especially recommended on Thursdays for those seeking to indulge in local flavors.
Typical Canarian restaurant catering primarily for local people providing freshly made good simple food which has always been well prepared and very tasty. The menu of the day is always good value. We will continue to visit when in the area.

Quite weak in comparison to other typical spanish restaurants. Menu del dia is cheap but you barely get anything in the set. Simple dishes but not tasty prepared. (Very) slow service.
Norbert P — Google review
Very authentic Spanish restaurant with menu del dia and a la carte.

Good local, typically Canarian back street bar with amazingly cheap prices. A massive measure of Gordon's gin with a large can of Scweppes tonic for only 3.20€ (Under £3!)
