YOU MUST EAT HERE!!!! This was probably one of the best meals we have had in Vernon so far. I started with a spritzer before dinner and enjoyed a wonderful risotto. The flavors were divine and the service was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. The atmosphere was classy and made me feel expensive. We will be going back for sure!!!

An exceptional dining experience from start to finish. The service was fantastic—attentive, professional, and responsive without ever feeling intrusive. The menu offered a wonderful selection of creative and perfectly prepared dishes, complemented by an extensive wine list to suit any taste. The ambiance was both relaxing and romantic, setting the perfect tone for an evening out. We lucked out since we were there on a night when Fernando was playing his spanish inspired guitar and it was another highlight. His level of skill was very impressive. Truly amazing food—easily the best meal I’ve had in a long time. Our plates came out elegantly presented, a feast for the eyes. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an upscale dining experience that delivers on every level.

Such a beautiful intimate place! Lovely decor. Our waiter Mordecai was excellent! Such a nice person! Our food was amazing! Wine that I had was based out of the okanagan. My husband had the butter chicken and I had Spanish saffron Prawn. We also had the cheesecake bites which were so delicious! Highly recommend this place!

We absolutely loved Intermezzo Restaurant and Wine Cellar! The food was excellent—beautifully prepared and full of flavor, with great vegan and gluten-free options available. The décor and atmosphere made for a warm, inviting dining experience, and the service was outstanding from start to finish. A perfect spot for a special evening out. Highly recommended! PS: we finished strong with something sweet. The chocolate decadence. Vegan and gluten free too

We had a wonderful dinner at Intermezzo Restaurant and Wine Cellar everything from the host to the waitress to the food was excellent. We started with shrimp, calamari, and mussels all incredibly fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. The restaurant also offers fresh bread as a starter, and they were kind enough to bring us a second serving upon request, which was a nice touch. For mains, we ordered the ribeyes and New York strip. Both steaks were cooked to perfection, well seasoned, and tender with great flavor. You could really taste the care in the preparation the portions were generous, and everything was plated beautifully. The atmosphere was warm and classy, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed yet elevated dinner. Definitely one of the better dining experiences in town, and we’ll gladly return.

Highly recommend stopping here! Fantastic food. Great service! All the staff were wonderful. We sat on a beautiful little patio. Travelling treat yourself! This place has been there since 1976 I believe. A must stop for fine dining and fantastic food! Fresh bread beautiful salad and we ordered shrimp and scallop extra with our rib steaks. Fresh veg El Dante, Steak shrimp and scallop all perfectly cooked. And the potatoes were so awesome I wanted more! I was so full. What a fantastic place! Hats off to the staff and the owner. Keep up the fantastic work!

Had a wonderful wonderful first time there. had a little hiccup with the hotness and timing on one plate but no regrets. Waiter totally understood and got new one. Food was amazing and so good. This is definitely in my top 5 restaurant experiences. Going back for my birthday dinner

Restaurant
Eatology is a downtown corner cafe in Vernon that offers classic international and health-conscious breakfast and lunch options. The owner is passionate about providing traditional home-style food with a personal creative twist, following the philosophy of 'Food is Fuel, but dining is an experience.' Despite its unassuming exterior, the interior of Eatology exudes a stylish and welcoming atmosphere. It has gained popularity as a hidden gem where visitors can enjoy hearty meals with friends.
Sadly, I’m just a visitor to Vernon, otherwise, Eatology would become my favourite breakfast place. I’ve enjoyed two breakfasts now, the first with a couple of friends. I ordered a breakfast wrap, and one of my friends had the salmon Benny. This time I’m on my own and I ordered the salmon Benny as it is one of my favourite breakfasts. There was a generous amount of salmon and the hollandaise sauce was excellent with a lovely tang of lemon and dill. A generous amount of hash browns accompanied the Benny and they were topped with cheddar cheese and green onions. The hash browns were so delicious that I could have easily eaten them all, but concern for my expanding waistline and a desire to enjoy a lunch made me quit early. I also judge a breakfast restaurant by its coffee and they didn’t disappoint. The coffee is rich and full bodied, just the way I like it. Congratulations to the owners and to Vernon for having such a delightful breakfast experience. I hope to return.
Alan M — Google review
Excellent place for breakfast and lunch. We visited on the recommendation of our friends and will definitely return when we are in Vernon again. The portions are large, we even had to take a box with us. The pie is delicious and one piece is enough for two. Very cozy place, nice staff, beautiful paintings and super clean toilet
Anna C — Google review
Eatology is hands down one of, if not, the best breakfast I’ve ever had, period! I’ve lived and travel all over the world and eat breakfast most days, so I think I’m qualified to say they’re the best! The food, the staff, the managers and owners are great, can’t go wrong here. If the line up is out the door it’s worth the wait!
Justin F — Google review
We make it a personal mission every time we come to Vernon to carve out time to visit this little gem! Sarah and Merry have done a fantastic job with this place. The food is always on point and my god the dessert!!! Just eat it all I swear you won’t regret it.
Grayson L — Google review
This is a consistent winner at breakfast: whether you like eggs Benny, omelettes, chicken and waffles, or if you want to go for Lunch and get one of the sandwiches, burgers or bowls! The coffee is great, self-serve water in a tap. There’s a lot more room up the ramp. It’s the old greyhound station- great remix of the space! Free parking in the lot out back if you can get it. You order at the counter- so there may be a lineup. And ensure you check your days. Closed Monday and Tuesday I think. So good!
Randy H — Google review
First time here! A definite go-to! Great atmosphere, awesome food, large portions, cute restaurant. Friendly staff. The baked goods counter looked amazing! Lots of food options to choose from. Highly recommend! Wednesday, Thursday, best days to go. It's not so busy, but if it is, it's well worth the wait!!
Trudi M — Google review
first time stopping at this cafe and definitely will be coming back! ordered the BLT, however it’s not your regular old BLT, it has grilled cheese in place of the bread, as well as banana peppers and garlic aioli. I was very pleased with how well this was considering i dislike banana peppers but it really complemented the dish. Side was asparagus and chicken soup which was recommended by the waitress and was also excellent. I don’t live in town, but i would drive back just to come for this blt again!!

I was passing through Vernon on a road trip and stumbled upon this cute cafe/restaurant. I absolutely loved the menu options and fun drinks they had along with the many food options on the menu. The service was great, super kind servers that are so caring and helpful!

It prides itself on serving consistently good food with relatively small but high-quality menu options. We only went in for dessert after our New year's Eve dinner and we ordered the tiramisu brownie and it was huge and delicious and so perfect. The lovely young waitress was so kind and sweet. I'm definitely going to go back there and try their food..

Bistro Midtown in Vernon BC, offers a delightful dining experience that truly impresses. The menu boasts a variety of flavorful dishes, beginning with the creamy caper chicken, which boasts tender, juicy meat perfectly complemented by a rich, tangy sauce infused with capers. The pulled pork slider is a smoky, savory delight—succulent pork nestled in a soft bun, bursting with flavor in every bite. The One Million Spaghetti is a comforting classic, featuring al dente pasta coated in a hearty, well-seasoned sauce that hits all the right notes. Throughout the meal, the staff were approachable and respectful manner, making us feel welcomed and well taken care of. Their superb service added to the overall positive experience, showcasing their genuine dedication to hospitality. Bistro Midtown in Vernon is a place where delicious food and friendly service come together, making it a must-visit spot for a memorable dining outing. Kudos to Eva and the chef cook Ronnie.

Midtown Bistro was a highlight on our recent trip to Vernon. We visit Vernon once or twice a year and this will now be our go-to lunch/dinner place. The food was absolutely incredible, from starters, mains, and the desserts. We had the goats cheese bruschetta and spinach dip to start -both accompanied by bread from sweet Caroline’s - both dishes were some of the best we’ve ever had. For mains we had the pancit (best dish of the night) and the shepherds pie special (also delicious). And for dessert I had the carrot cake boxed up to eat later. It was incredible as well. I struggled to pick what I wanted to try on the menu and can’t wait to come back to try the sliders, stir fry and the Thai salad. Prices were very fair. Thank you so much for a wonderful evening!

First of all, the friendly warm atmosphere was so welcoming. We were greeted and seated right away. I loved the fun art on the walls. The service we received was so great—friendly, quick and efficient. The food was delicious, fresh and well presented. My son was able to choose the heat level of the butter chicken which was great because he loves spicy heat and they got it spot on. The pulled pork dinner was great and I opted to upgrade my side to the pear and goat cheese salad—yum! Loved the coleslaw and the veggies were cooked perfectly. Hubs and daughter enjoyed their sliders with mac n’cheese. The carrot cake was wonderful as well. The only slight disappointment was the caramel cheesecake which was a bit flat and underwhelming. Overall a lovely dining experience and we hope to return soon!!
Jenny K — Google review
Update: Second visit to Midtown Bistro and it did not disappoint! The pulled pork slider was flavorful, the creamy caper chicken was rich and perfectly cooked, and THE ONE MILLION SPAGHETTI was as amazing as the name. Dessert was the perfect sweet touch. Big thanks to Chef Ronnie and his team for the delicious food, and to Eva for her warm, excellent service. A must-visit spot! Good food, amazing staff, nice place. I highly recommend.

Best food in town! Service is impeccable. Best Mac & Cheese, and the Hot Meat Sandwich is my favourite. Carrot Cake was so moist and everything was very afforadable!

Im in town visiting my parents. I reserved a patio seating for 5 of us. (3 sisters, mom and dad). The food was absolutely fabulous. Plated beautifully, generous portions and tasted as delicious as it looked. Our server was lovely, and the service was very fast. To top it all off, prices are very good in relation to the quality and amount of food. Absolutely will recommend this place and will definitely be coming back next time I'm in town.

Station BBQ Smokehouse is a laid-back, family-owned eatery that specializes in Southern U.S.-style BBQ and Cajun-Creole cuisine. Located in Vernon, this slow-smoked BBQ joint offers a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, making it the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploration. Loved it! Great portion sizes with awesome prices!! The meat was so good, did not disappoint! Very tender and melts in your mouth :)

Service was awesome- our server was friendly, and helpful. Food was good really big portions tho. Way more then we expected: Very nice atmosphere good vibe

The brisket melted in your mouth, the beans we're not overpowering sweet like most places so I definitely enjoyed them, the candy bacon is mouth watering! The service is phenomenal, don't feel shy to ask questions, the server is the friendliest person ever and will share everything she knows about what to visit if you're a tourist or what to try on the menu! Definitely coming back to this place whenever we travel to the Okanagan again!
Ana V — Google review
Even though we arrived and got the last empty table service was fast and friendly. Our server offered our family of 4 the platter that is normally a weekend special (it was Thursday). That was a nice gesture and easy decision, food came out fast and was SO tasty. Brisket, ribs, wings, pulled pork, coleslaw, fries, onion rings and corn bread. More than enough for us, with a doggy bag. Love supporting small businesses with great service
Andrea — Google review
Three large men walk into Station BBQ Smokehouse… sounds like the start of a joke, but the only thing funny was how we thought we could finish all that food. We grabbed the $75 platter (plus a couple add-ons, because why not) and by the end we were absolutely stuffed. If you love BBQ and actually enjoy leaving a restaurant feeling like you got your money’s worth, this is the spot. Worth every penny.
Brad H — Google review
Staff was friendly, we enjoyed the laid back atmosphere. Sadly none of us enjoyed our meals. Swatting flies away from our food. Brisket on one plate was dry and spicy and moist on another and tasted different. Chicken was super dry. Portions were small and meals were pricey. We were under the impression a pit master worked there. Definitely not. first and last visit.

We attended with a very large group last minute, the staff were able to accomodate us in our own room without issue. Service was very good, food and drinks came in a timely manner. Food options were great and the quality was outstanding. Highly recommend for some good BBQ foods and sides.

Mexican restaurant
Los Huesos Restaurant is a vibrant and festive space that offers traditional Mexican cuisine and drinks. The restaurant's simple facade belies the delicious food that keeps patrons coming back, with their famous Chimichanga being a must-try dish. It's known for its cheerful atmosphere, live Mexican music, and accommodating staff. While reservations are recommended due to its popularity among locals and tourists, the reasonable prices make it worth the visit.
This is a personal favorite of all restaurants in this city. Every time I go in I ask for guacamole and chips and every time it is made fresh. The actual food is amazing. The environment is very friendly, like family. The service is the same, they treat you like family. Warning⚠️: their margarita may cause extreme happiness. Proceed with caution!! 😉
Priyanshu G — Google review
Excellent quality and friendly service. The flavors were on point and the dishes had the correct textures. The refried beans had excellent flavor. The Chile Relleno stuffed with beef I had was excellent. My son had the enchiladas with Salsa Verde and really enjoyed it though he wished the portion size on it was bigger. Teenager appetite... The lime Margarita I had was tasty and fairly priced. The Churros we ordered for dessert were absolutely incredible. This is a great example of a proper Mexican restaurant. Would definitely come back if in the area.
Attila S — Google review
My wife and I went here a couple of days ago for her birthday, while it was our first time - it certainly won’t be the last. The host was as warm and inviting as the atmosphere within the restaurant itself, we were greeted with a smile and shown great hospitality. The food itself was delicious, the portions are very generous, and I was even treated to fresh chiles when I asked about making my dinner a bit more spicy, as I do enjoy the spiciest of offerings. We started with a Pina Colada and their nachos with beef, and that itself was almost enough of a meal for the two of us, but we decided to order an entree each anyway. Much to our surprise again, the portions were very generous, the food was beautiful in presentation and rich with flavour. My wife had their chimichanga with chicken as her protein, and I went for the chipotle pork burrito. Both were as satiating as they were flavourful. Definitely an easy recommendation to anyone who feels the need to fill the void within their stomach, as you certainly will not leave hungry!

We ordered the enchilada rojas, soft tacos, and churros - all were delicious and we would definitely stop by again!

Huge quantities and amazing food! Went for the burrito / enchiladas, both were very good. Also ordered some chips and salsa which was great as well. Definitely recommend

Was looking for a quick late lunch after cherry picking and discovered this restaurant at the heart of Vernon. It was happy hour when we got there at 3 pm and so we ordered off that menu: the classic margarita, beef taquitos and beef tostadas. The food was delicious - I especially enjoyed the tostadas. It was bright and refreshing with a nice saltiness from the beef and beans. As both of these are appetizers on the regular menu, the portions were bigger than expected and we left full.
Janet L — Google review
We ordered drop-off catering for our summer staff event - a self-serve taco bar with everything you could ask for! Everything was absolutely delicious, and the buffet-style portions were very generous. We had plenty left over! Our staff loved the food. It was a big hit! The service was excellent as well. Very friendly and accommodating. We really appreciated the delivery, setup, serving tools provided, and flexibility on how and when to get the serving dishes back to the restaurant. Los Huesos will definitely be on our list next time we need to order for events!

Davison Orchards Country Village is a family-run apple orchard that has become a popular attraction for families. Visitors can enjoy tractor-drawn tours through the orchard, where guides share the history and operations of the orchard. The village features playgrounds, animal feeding areas with sheep, goats, and chickens, as well as a gift shop and cafe.
Davison Orchards is such a great place to visit! Not only do they have amazing produce like sweet corn and juicy cherries, but they also offer fresh pressed apple juice that tastes naturally sweet and refreshing. It feels like you’re drinking pure sunshine in a glass. The whole atmosphere here is very welcoming and family and friendly. There are beautiful farm views, fun areas for kids to explore, and it’s just a relaxing spot to spend an afternoon. The market area is busy but organized, with lots of local products to browse. It’s more than just shopping for produce it’s a full experience. Definitely a must-stop if you’re in Vernon or nearby.

We had such a wonderful time at Davison Orchards — it’s truly one of the best family-friendly places to visit! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always smiling and ready to help. You can really feel that they love what they do and take pride in making visitors feel at home. The food was absolutely delicious — everything tasted fresh and homemade. We especially loved the pies, apple juice, and farm-to-table meals at the café. You can tell everything is made with care using local ingredients. The farm animals were another highlight! The kids (and even us adults) had so much fun feeding and petting them. It’s such a great experience to get close to the animals and learn a bit about farm life. The views of the orchard and surrounding hills are breathtaking, and the atmosphere is so peaceful and relaxing. We also enjoyed exploring the farm market and picking up some local goodies to take home. Overall, Davison Orchards is a must-visit spot if you’re in Vernon or anywhere nearby. Perfect for families, couples, or anyone who wants to enjoy nature, great food, and genuine hospitality. Highly recommended! 🍎🌻🐐

We visited this place over the summer, and it’s one of the best family-friendly place. The farm market and orchard are absolutely beautiful. The views of the orchard and surrounding areas were mesmerizing. We also enjoyed exploring the farm market and taking the tour — the guides were knowledgeable and very friendly. We got to pick some apples, which were juicy and delicious! Since it wasn’t the main picking season, we couldn’t do much picking, but we did get some fresh apple juice and sauces — everything was so flavorful and delicious.

We just visited Davison Orchards a few days ago for the first time. What an amazing place!! Our whole family enjoyed the 3 hours we spent there. From the amazing farm cafe, frozen apple juice, orchard tour and touring the grounds and markets. It is beautiful scenic place to visit. Highly recommend!!

Lovely place, plenty of activities for kids and adults, food is delicious but pricey. Atmosphere is amazing, tours and pick your own fruit is fun and must do activity. Personnel is friendly, the place is clean and we do visit this orchard every time we are in Vernon.it can get crowded on weekends and you might have challenging time findind parking. Overall I highly recommend it.

A bit of a drive to come here from Penticton but totally worth it, especially in fall season! Lots of photo opportunities, and lots of fresh produce to buy directly where it's grown. Huge store with all kinds of cute stuff for home and gifts that alone is worth visiting! Delicious ice cream where they blend actual fruit of your choice (blueberry was yum and a very generous portion!). And we got to see some farm animals! They offer tours around the orchards but the last one is at 4pm and we came at 5.

We had such an amazing time at Davison Orchards this fall! 🍂🎃 The pumpkin patch was absolutely beautiful — so many sizes and colors to choose from! The fall foliage around the farm made the whole place look magical and perfect for photos. 🍁✨ We enjoyed walking around, picking our pumpkins, and just soaking in the cozy autumn vibes. The staff were friendly and everything was well-organized. Definitely one of the best spots to experience the fall season — we’ll be back again next year! 🧡

We planned our holiday around visiting Davison Orchards. It is an amazing place, and fantastic if you have young kids. This was our second visit. The first was when our son was 6 and this time he is 13. We have such great memories of this place. If you go, definitely do the tractor train ride. You get to pick and eat the most current crop that is ready. The first time, we ate corn on the cob picked directly from the plant and it was amazing! This time we picked delicious apples. The tour guides are knowledgeable and very friendly. The frozen apple juice is delicious so we bought a big jug of it to take on our road trip. The sandwiches are delicious too and the peaches… I bought a big box to share with friends when we got home. We love this place!

Bamboo Beach Fusion Grille is renowned for its exceptional and delectable cuisine. The "fusion" label fails to capture the true essence of their utterly scrumptious and visually stunning dishes, meticulously prepared by Yuki, Amanda, and their skilled team. Whether indulging in their mouthwatering Thai Chicken pie or Japanese Beef Curry pie, customers are guaranteed an unforgettable culinary experience.
Excellent restaurant. Service was quick. Started with the shrimp tempura which had a delicious light batter. Then had the Chicken Curry Soba which was amazing. Large helpings, I could only get through half. Pricing is a little bit higher but worth every dollar.
Jonathan K — Google review
Looking at their name, it’s hard to see what is being fused here. Digging into their menu, one discovers west coast dishes seasoned with a Japanese flair. I had the fish and chips. The batter was super crispy and a hint of tempura (of course) and the fries had a light airy crunch. The sauces also had an Asian flavour. Not your garden variety vinegar and ketchup. We also had the tuna steak, ahi tuna grilled rare with a refreshing salad on the side. A nice interpretation of East meets West.

I am from Victoria and this little place is a gem. The tempura is probably the best I’ve had outside of Japan and the Thai halibut was perfect. Great cook on the fish and lovely little fresh farmers’ market veggies!

My husband's meal was delicious however mine was just plain weird. A Thai Red Curry with agadashi style tofu. My tofu was sticky, gummy and unpalatable. I brought it to my servers attention and he stated that was what it was supposed to look like. I was disappointed.

My first time at this little gem. Didn't know what to expect. Ordered tuna and let me tell you it was the best l ever had. The dish presentation was an art on it's own. Every vegetable had different flavour. This was really a treat. Just as l was finishing this wonderful dish the little Japanese woman stopped at my table and asked if l liked it. It turned out she was the Chef who prepared this little piece of art for me. This was wonderful treat as l could praise this talented woman for one of the best dinners l've ever had. I thought this was a really nice touch. I was in a such a great mood that l decided to try their dessert and omg... Another amazing surprise... Hard to describe how amazing this was so l am including the picture. This is by far my favorite restaurant now so happy l stopped by 😃👍

This is my favorite restaurant in Vernon!!! You want amazing crispy French fries? Eat here. You want home made salad dressing? ALL OF THEM ARE AMAZING! And the subs? Wow. Amazing. Superb. Amazing flavor, quality ingredients. Take out quality is high and sit down is even higher, once its back. Either way, do yourself a favor. Eat here. Again and again. Its over the top delicious.

Pickup easy and on time. Staff friendly. Had Tempura, Chicken Don and Korean BBQ. Large portions (2 large portions in each container). Veggies perfectly cooked. Rice to veggies and meat proportions spot on. Each dish was delicious. I’ve had Korean BBQ all over the world and they nailed the flavor. Definitely added to eat out/take out list.

Best steak in Vernon! Staff are on point and helpful. Excellent atmosphere & happy hour deals! My partner and I went for happy hour, lots and behold he tweeked his back just before we walked in. As we were eating his back got progressively worse. He could barely walk by the we got the bill. The waitress was a pro how she handled the situation. It was quite embarrassing for my partner since he could barely stand but she made sure he was helped out with his dignity in tact. We went back a few months later to celebrate his recovery with a lovely steak dinner. It was the best! Thanks to the lady who went above and beyond to help us out that day.

Huge Rave to Phoenix Steakhouse here in Vernon! Very well run restaurant by the owners themselves! Food and service is amazing! We had Fraser valley Chicken and striplion steak for dinner and it was really good! And they have honestly the best bartender in town that makes amazing cocktails! Good job on the patio decor! We really love coming here!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We celebrated our first anniversary at Phoenix Steakhouse Bar & Grill, and it was absolutely perfect! From the moment we walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the tone for a wonderful evening. The service was impeccable—attentive, friendly, and professional. Now, let’s talk about the food—WOW! The steak was cooked to perfection, bursting with flavor and melt-in-your-mouth tender. Every bite was a delight, and the sides complemented the meal beautifully. We also enjoyed a couple of expertly crafted cocktails that elevated the experience even more. This was truly a night to remember, and we couldn’t have picked a better place to celebrate. If you’re looking for an outstanding steakhouse experience in Vernon, this is the spot! We’ll definitely be back.

I love our dishes (Beef NY). Well served, fresh vegetables, lovely service. We were there for our 16th anniversary. For dessert (a fabulous cheesecake), they surpr my wife with and spontaneous extra. The restaurant is an elegant old building from the early 20th century, located in downtown Vernon, BC. It's the kind of place I like. We were in the second level.

This was one of the places my girlfriend and I went to on our drive going back home. I’ve been to a handful of brunch places and this is one of the best I’ve been to. Omg. Eggs Benedict was full of flavour and the ultimate omelette was very filling. Usually, omelettes lack balance taste or filling, but this was the opposite. It was well done and very filling. Love that they have caddy of hot sauce, ketchup, peanut butter and jam. Staff is also very helpful and kind. Food here is also reasonable priced!! I recommend this place for brunch. If I’m ever in Vernon again, I will come back!

Would definitely go back! Service was eggcellent and friendly, with coffee and pop refills. The food arrived quick but still had a homemade feel to it. Our drinks were at the table before we even sat down!

Stopped by Diner on Six for brunch and had a classic, no-fuss diner experience — and I mean that in the best way! I had the Buffalo Chicken Caesar Salad, which was fresh and had just the right amount of kick. My husband went for the grilled chicken breast with hashbrowns, eggs, and toast — total comfort food, done right. The place was pretty packed, which is always a good sign, but service was still quick and friendly. If you’re in the mood for good food and a classic diner vibe, this spot delivers exactly that. Nothing fancy, just solid food and a warm, bustling atmosphere.

Ordered the Mushroom Jack with onion rings and a yuzu Italian cream soda. The burger was delicious and the onion rings were nice and crispy. I enjoyed the cream soda as well. Service was nice and fast, especially considering we went at peak time (12 pm ish). Would love to come back and try something else on the menu!

We stopped in here for a late lunch and we were immediately pleasantly stunned by the level of customer service. The happy mood and efficiency of the staff was something way above the norm. Everyone was cheerful, friendly and genuine in their attention. The food exceeded our expectations too. The menu is very comprehensive and our food came well presented and hot. I would say that we were pleasantly surprised by everything here. Thanks again to a lovely, caring staff

Great experience, I've never ordered off the menu first, paid and then sat down but honestly it makes so much sense, other then tipping, not that i wouldn't have. All the servers were great and the food was big portions and hearty, glad I popped in!
Adrian ( — Google review
Don't eat here if you are on a time limit. I wasted my lunch break waiting for my order. Had to get it to go so I could only eat my fries while I worked. My burger sat on my desk to get cold. The food got a low score because it took too long and now it's cold. The service got a low score because I am hangry and I lost time at work. The atmosphere is decent enough to say it was clean and comfortably quiet. Perhaps I should not write a review when hungry but a cold burger is not appetizing when I am already annoyed with the whole experience.

Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to. If you’re in Vernon and need a good coffee or a chill place to chat, Ratio is a great choice!

A Perfect Start to the Day at Ratio Coffee & Pastry! Ratio Coffee & Pastry in Vernon truly hits all the right notes for a delightful breakfast or a quick, satisfying treat. My recent visit left me thoroughly impressed with their fantastic offerings and the genuinely kind and friendly staff. In fact, I loved it so much, I made sure to visit twice during my trip to Vernon from Vancouver! I opted for a spread that showcased their diverse menu, and I wasn't disappointed. The breakfast sandwich was a standout – perfectly constructed with fresh ingredients, it was both hearty and incredibly flavorful. It's clear they put care into crafting a morning staple that truly delivers. And to kickstart my day, their Americano was simply delicious – rich, smooth, and expertly prepared. Next, I dove into the pretzel, which was everything a good pretzel should be: wonderfully chewy on the inside with a perfectly browned exterior. It was a delicious and unexpected find on a coffee shop menu. For something sweet, the donut was an absolute winner. Light, fluffy, and with just the right amount of sweetness, it was the ideal complement to my coffee. And speaking of refreshing, their cold-pressed juice was vibrant and invigorating – a perfect way to balance out the richness of the pastries. I even waited for a fresh Nanaimo bar flavored eclair, and it was absolutely fantastic – a truly delightful and uniquely Canadian treat! Beyond the delicious food and drink, what truly elevated my experience was the service. The staff at Ratio Coffee & Pastry are genuinely kind and incredibly friendly. Mickie, in particular, was a star employee who went above and beyond, even selecting some coffee beans for me to take home and enjoy – what a fantastic touch! They create a welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to linger and enjoy your surroundings. It's also really cool to know that the venue itself is the old site for a rail station, adding a unique touch of history to your visit. Whether you're a local or just passing through Vernon, Ratio Coffee & Pastry is an absolute must-visit. I'll definitely be back on my next trip to Vernon!
Jerry W — Google review
I popped into Ratio Coffee in Vernon for the second time. The set-up is quite decent and the staff were pleasant enough, though nothing out of the ordinary. It would be nice if they had a few more options on the pastry or dessert front, perhaps a slice of cake or two, as the choice felt a bit limited. I ordered a couple of lattes, which were perfectly decent, though I did find the place a touch on the warm side, particularly in the front room. All in all, it’s a reasonable spot for a coffee, and I’d likely return, especially as at the time it seemed to be the only proper coffee shop in Vernon that was open.
Ram S — Google review
Visited this place for the first time. Staff is very friendly and nice. Her name is Kyla, she is super sweet. Place is rustic, lots of seating in and out. It has a classic vintage vibe. This place used to be Vernon Railway Station and has railway tracks just at the back, so cool. I am disappointed with the food. I got large Americano and it was tart, had an acidic taste which was not good and another thing I got was cranberry pistachio brownie which was crumbly and not gooey or soft as it should be. I am sure it's prepared fresh daily but maybe it's not stored properly. There were no donuts as I read in the reviews, they are only made on Fridays. Food options were also less. So overall this place looks nice but doesn't serve right!
Tiara — Google review
We were visiting Kelowna and took a nice drive to Vernon to try this place that was actually recommended to us by one of our friends back on Vancouver Island. We ordered one of their seasonal FALL DRINK MENU and tried the “Maple Bourbon Latte” and it was an impressive match to the crisp air and we pairs it with the Ratio smores cookie. The cookie was smashed and seemed like there's more to share but it didn't last long so I advise getting 2 and not sharing .After our drinks We found some great merch on the shelves and I grabbed a uniquely RATIO branded “Fellow “ 12oz travel mug & sweatshirt for a souvenir from the Okanagan. We could see the baked goods depleting as the line up passed and the bakery pumping out goods almost as efficient as the barista was pouring. The staff here is constantly in motion as too are the clients. As a tourist to the region this place was welcoming and the quality is high up as a non-corporate locally owned community hub could ever be… local support can be felt at every corner of the space… This place is located at a historic train station building and when you're here you can feel the hustle and bustle of people going places... We were so glad to SPAN time here as we arrived at our destination as soon as we stepped into RATIO. I look forward to future visits here whenever we are back in the Okanagan.

This is a great little place to get some quality coffee and food in a pinch. This place is generally usually very busy and most of the time quite loud. The Turkish eggs are a must try and if you order any sandwich, you will not be disappointed. The staff are friendly yet busy and the restaurant is very clean with a Vintage feel.

I’m not over blowing this… that may have been the greatest breakfast sandwhich of my life. Get the breakfast sandwich with avocado & bacon on SOURDOUGH. You won’t regret it… or forget it. Customers rave about the fantastic selection of superb baked goods and express admiration for the passionate approach to ingredients and quality.
A wee gem of a bakery in the heart of downtown Vernon with a lovely assortments of bread and cakes. The interior decor was tasteful and modern with well thought out pieces. I wanted to try every baked good upon entry. The place smelled delicious with fresh bread and hints of cinnamon. I purchased a cheese roll, bread pudding and a load of the cinnamon bread. All were exquisite from savory to sweet. The cinnamon raisin bread made delightful french toast!!! I was hoping to get a loaf of sour dough, I arrive late afternoon on a Saturday and they were all sold out. Highly recommend stopping in and spoiling yourself with a tasty treat!

This bakery is a gem! The smells and coziness of the shoppe is amazing. I have been twice since I have been visiting the Vernon area. Highly recommend the wheat sourdough bread, bagels, muffins and decadent brownies. I honestly enjoyed everything I tasted and thank goodness, I don’t live close to the bakery because I think I would need an intervention on my baked good addiction. 😂

The absolute best sourdough in the whole province (maybe even country). Cinnamon rolls and their cheesecakes were to die for. The staff was super friendly, and the owners came over and greeted me and my family. Would 100% recommend for anyone in the area to visit. Little slice of heaven in vernon.

It was my first time shopping here. It is right next to the Thai restaurant. The counter faces the door so the cashier immediately greets you. I bought a fresh cinammon roll for $5 after taxes. It's a big roll, but not enormous. The roll tasted really good when I got home. It was fresh and sticky. Five dollars may seem steep for a single cinammon roll, but if you have a few extra dollars when walking through downtown Vernon this summer, this place is definitely worth a stop.

The store occasionally features specialty cheeses for special events and occasions. This was my 184th eatery in Vernon on my journey to eating at every eatery in town. Today I stepped into The Wedge Cheesery. I knew nothing about cheese. I pretended to learn about cheese as the owner allowed me to sample two soft cheeses including Humbolt Fog. I bought 100g of Humbolt Fog for just over 11 dollars. I really liked its not-so-overpowering taste. This was a fun experience. I highly recommend this spot. 183 eateries are now complete in Vernon. I am almost done my journey.

Okay, seriously, if you're anywhere near Vernon, you HAVE to check out Wedge Cheesery! We popped in to order a charcuterie box for our daughter's birthday, and wow, just wow. They have a truly wonderful selection of high quality cheeses from all over the world, plus amazing local cured meats and all sorts of other goodies. And the box? Forget about it! They're not just thrown together; they're like works of art. Stacy clearly has a chef's touch. We were so impressed with the whole experience, from the incredible selection to the super friendly service. Thank you so much for making our daughter's birthday so memorable and special! Seriously, I wish I could give them 100 stars! As a bonus, she even recommended we swing by a local bakery called Hot Bread Shoppe for some breads to go with our charcuterie. Seriously, do yourself a favor and go. You won't regret it!!!

Very helpful cheeser. She gave us so many useful recommendations for our stay in Vernon. The cheese board was full of fresh local produce and delicious cheeses and meats. She made an excellent recommendation for a Canadian alternate
Michael F — Google review
I had bought cheeses here before and they had been good. This time I had a hankering for a French cheese, I had lived in France many moons ago. The morbier I bought was past it's prime. It is a cheese that should taste like sweet fresh milk, not mushrooms. This cheese the rind had amoniacized, meaning it was over ripe. It tasted sour and had a bite, and when I smelled the rind it had that vinegar up the nose sensation. I was not thrilled. When you pay $20 for a wedge of cheese it should be at it's peak. This one was not. I think she needs to pay closer attention to the lifespan of her product. Did I eat it? Yes, Would I buy it again? No, I'd go for an aged cheese that had a longer lifespan.
Pashminagal — Google review
Had an event catered for by The Wedge Cheesery. They took care of EVERYTHING!! Helped us organize our tables, glassware, table linen, wine, liquor license and serviced the evening too with setup and taredown. Stacy is amazing and clearly has experience in delivering great service with a smile, enthusiasm for her business and interacted with our customers in the most pleasant way. The presentation, the selection, the variety, the fruit and bread pairings, chocolates...every one was so happy and commented on how great the food was! We would recommend Wedge Cheesery for events as well as a cosy night in with their signature Charcuterie boards. Every visit to the Wedge is exciting and if you enjoy cheese, there is no better place in Vernon!

We visited the Planet Bee Honey Farm when we visited a friend for her graduation. We loved our time at the Farm. The bees were active and the flowers were beautiful and we got to experience it at its peak. The staff was very knowledgeable and had fun showing us where the queen bee was and explaining to us about the inner workings. I did the mead tasting and the women who led the tasting was also very knowledgeable and engaging. It tasted lovely and we left with a couple bottles. The honey tasting was also pretty cool and we brought a few jars home too. This was a really great experience and thing to do and we recommend it to all ages, families, girls trips and all!

Checked out Planet Bee Honey Farm. They have all things honey related. Mead bottles are $15.00 to $40.00. Loved that you can sample two dozen honey flavours; favourites were the chai, peach and iced glacé. The salad dressing/sauces/marinades were also tasty. - Mead tasting - complimentary tasting of four meads; Okanagan delight, melaina’s muse, ode to Odin and nectar of the sun. - Peach honey ($12.00 for 500g) - very peachy. One of our favourite honeys that we sampled

I've just experienced what I can confidently declare is the **best place to eat in Vernon**: Fresh Lemongrass Restaurant! From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by a modern interior that's both stylish and inviting – a real breath of fresh air. Then, you're met with the friendliest staff who make you feel like a regular even if it's your first time. But hold on, because the real star of the show is the food. Prepare to be amazed by the **massive portions** that arrive at your table, piled high with what is clearly the freshest of ingredients. If you're looking for a top-notch dining experience in Vernon, look no further. Fresh Lemongrass has earned its five stars and my enthusiastic recommendation – go check it out!

The food was decent in that the portion size was very generous to the cost. I would come back if I'm looking for a belly filler. We ordered two bowls of pho - one special and one spicy; the flavour was decent but seemed to be missing a layer or depth in flavour; it was not as rich in beef flavour as I was expecting. Overall not a bad experience. If you are craving noodles, this is pretty good.

Some of the best Vietnamese in BC! Fast and friendly service and the food is always fresh and delicious. I come here everytime I drive through Vernon and highly recommend.

We had the vegetable phǒ and the spring roll meal. The broth for my phǒ was sweet, like it had too much anise, and the noodles were all very short and almost clear with no color, as if they were cooked too long. I tried putting sriracha sauce to balance it out the sweetness but it didn’t work. I also had to request the plate of sprouts, basil, and lime; It took about 4 minutes to get them, and when it arrived there were 2 sprigs of cilantro/coriander and a mountain of sprouts. It wasn’t bad, but it was not what i was expecting at all. The servers were friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was nice and clean.

Food is amazing! Went with the house special vermicelli and the chicken vermicelli and both were really good. The quality and quantity is excellent. Would definitely recommend

We've been here for Dinner and Breakfast as a celebration for my wedding anniversary. The service was amazing. Aleks is the one who serve us during dinner and he is great. The food was unreal, from the appetizers to main course to dessert! The staff will always fill your glass with water. The free breakfast that comes with the stay is good too! We will definitely come back again and be excited to eat here again soon.

Had free breakfast here everyday that I was visiting sparkling hills - food is quite good quality and filling with a great drinks and juice selection. Also came here for dinner during the last night of my stay but wasn’t really wowed with the menu selections - I would recommend sticking to the complimentary breakfast and drinks For some of my breakfast meals I was lucky enough to be seated at a window seat and was able to enjoy the incredible views of okanagan valley. Service was sometimes a bit slow, especially being shown to a table even after having made rsvps way in advance, but overall a pleasant experience

We’ve visited Sparkling Hill four times as a couple, and got engaged here last year — a big part of what made that visit so memorable was our incredible dining experience at PeakFine. Sadly, what once felt like fine dining has drastically changed for the worse. We had heard from others that the restaurant has shifted from formal fine dining to a more casual atmosphere, and that the food quality had gone downhill. Unfortunately, they were absolutely right. Let’s start with the biggest issue: flavour. It’s as if the kitchen doesn’t own a salt shaker — every dish was bland, underseasoned, and completely lacking the depth you’d expect at a restaurant of this calibre. • We started with the focaccia bread, which was supposed to have rosemary and thyme — I tasted neither. It was dry and completely forgettable. • The ahi tuna with wonton crisps was the most disappointing dish of the night. The tuna was unseasoned, served with a tiny bit of wakame and a touch of Rainbow trout caviar, nori. There was no soy, no citrus, no sauce — nothing to pull the elements together. It ended up tasting like bland pâté. I also don’t understand why crispy Nori was added when you have the crispy wontons. Ironically, the best part was the simple salad on the side. • The calamari was served in a bowl, causing it to steam and go soggy, and the tzatziki was in a dish on top — squishing a few pieces and making them unappetizing. The tzatziki had zero garlic or seasoning and was as bland as everything else. • My fiancé ordered the Fette burger, and it was another letdown. The oyster mushrooms were so tough and chewy that he had to spit several pieces out. The bun was over-charred, bordering on burnt, and the patty itself was completely unremarkable. • I ordered the seafood linguine, a dish I had last year and loved. This time, it was served lukewarm, and was completely flavourless — no salt, no spice, no Parmesan, no sauce depth. The only redeeming part was the seafood itself, which was cooked well. I ended up eating the seafood and leaving the pasta behind — for a $40 dish, that’s incredibly disappointing. We left dinner genuinely frustrated — not just by the poor quality of the food, but by how far PeakFine has fallen. It used to be a highlight of the Sparkling Hill experience. Now it feels like a hotel restaurant with high prices and no identity. We won’t be returning to PeakFine, and sadly, this meal played a big part in our decision not to return to Sparkling Hill at all.

PUKEFINE!! Worst dining experience i have ever had in my entire life. The first red flag was when we tried to call to make a reservation and no one answered, we tried five times, finally i called the front desk and they transferred me to the restaurant, and still i was redirected back to the hotel front desk because no one picked up at the restaurant. The front dest had to book our reservation online via open table, which required them to set up an account for me in open table. Red flag number two was when we ordered our pre dinner drinks. Every wine that is on their menu is marked up 150% from market value, even the local wines. After we all ordered our drinks, the wine took 10 minutes to come to the table. Completely unacceptable for it to take that long to pour a glass of wine. Our appetizers came before our drinks, and I ordered the scallops, which were cold. It was entirely obvious that someone had prepped the plate hours before then taken out of the fridge and not microwaved properly before being sent to me. I had the king mushrooms for my main, which was the only vegetarian main dish in the menu. It was ok. Vinegar was its main flavor. They didn’t give us replacement cutlery after our appetizer so we had to wait for a clean set before we could start eating, which normally isn’t a big deal, but after everything that was already terribly presented, was another miss for the night. We asked the bill to be split up 1/3 and 2/3 and when they came back it had been split 50/50. Simple math isn’t the problem here, listening is the problem. He gave us the same speech about being able to take the receipt to the main bar for a discounted drink twice having forgotten that he already told us that 2 minutes before. This was literally the worst experience and the worst food I have had in Vernon, and the worst that I have had in 39 years of life. Please save yourself the terrible night and eat literally anywhere else. May all that is holy have mercy in this restaurant. For the amount of money they charge they should be ashamed. The view is nice.

My Wife and I stayed at Sparkling Hill for one night and heard good things about PeakFine from a family member. Service: Our waiter "Alex" was flawless in his approach to customers, very attentive, warm and polite, professional even when other patrons were asking him personal questions. My water glass was never empty, honestly, I would have hired this person. All the staff embodied the "service with a smile" attitude which was really refreshing. The Food: When the menu arrived, I was expecting the standard limited choices but was pleasantly surprised to find a lot more than I expected and even the option of a separate 3 course menu. I can only speak to my opinion for the meal I had. I have to say for the price I was a little blown away! I had the sea food pasta, a dish I often order wherever I happen to see it on a menu and this was one of the best I've had. Its worth noting that it's deceptively filling so if you're used to a delicate sized meal you might be surprised. The presentation was excellent and the taste exceeded it. It might just be my personal taste but the squash soup was amazing! And the mango dessert was really beautiful and tasted delicate and rich without tasting too sweet. I ordered a side order of Shrimp and of course they were the same lovely jumbo shrimp that came with the sea food pasta but with different flavoring. The shrimp were all very favorable quality and better than I've had in most places. Atmosphere: Instantly I could tell this was a cosy resteraunt with the warm lighting and beautiful fire-wall display. We were seated by a very polite and kindly member of staff who seemed genuine and welcoming.  Our seating area felt romantic, cozy and relaxed. All in all, great service, great food and competitive prices for this quality of food and service you receive.

I recently stayed at Sparkling Hill and I have a lot to say about PeakFine. The best thing I had from this establishment was their Huevos Rancheros Bowl (free breakfast), Chai Latte ($6.5) and their high quality assorted teas they allow guests to grab during the morning. The Rancheros Bowl was flavourful and very filling. My Chai latte was delicious and creamy. The teas were high quality and sought after all day by myself and my group. This is where my praise ends unfortunately. The other things I ordered were the Matcha Latte ($7.5), Sparkling Eggs Benedict (free breakfast), Kimchi Chicken Burger with Cesar Salad ($29), St. Honore ($15), and a Culinary Supreme ($39). My matcha latte only slightly tasted like matcha, the eggs benedict wasn't very impressive nor flavourful (barely seasoned hash browns), the Kimchi Chicken Burger had a poor quality bun and the Cesar dressing wasn't house made, the St. Honore tasted good but also tasted old, and finally... The Culinary Supreme tasted great but was extremely over priced and the broccolini needed another minute steaming. I want to note that the two nights were were there, not ONE steak was cooked properly. The outsides of the steaks were done correctly, but not internally. Whoever is cooking steaks is cooking them at too high of a heat and clearly isn't learning from their mistakes. I had really, really high hopes for this restaurant. Then menu looks great but the execution is poor. Especially with such high prices. I'm looking for fresh, strong flavours and decent portion sizes. Breakfast is fine. But that's mainly because it's mostly free. I would however highly suggest skipping PeakFine (at least for Dinner) all together and going straight to Gerni's Farmhouse.

Incredibly disappointed. My wife and I went to PeakFine for our 20th anniversary dinner. Mentioned our anniversary in the reservation. Restaurant was not busy, quiet Sunday night. Great seat and our waited tried, I felt bad for him. We ordered an appetizer and our mains the first time our server came to the table. We waited over an hour after ordering for our scallop appetizer and then much longer for the mains. The waiter mentioned that he would talk to his manager, manager walked by but never stopped at the table. Waiter brought bread, which we didn’t order and apologized without an explanation. When the food finally arrived, my steak was overcooked, ordered med rare but was definitely well done, probably too long under the warmer. My wife’s meal was ok, she finished half of it. We had planned dessert but we were expecting to be long gone by then. Discount on the steak was given but by then we were already not impressed. I would have rather had a steak made fresh as ordered and paid full price. Too bad. We had high hopes for such a special night. We will try elsewhere in the future.

Peak at sparkling hill is perfect for a date night and special occasions. It was my husband’s birthday and he got a free birthday cupcake. My partner and I came to The Curry Pot for dinner tonight, and were absolutely blown away by the experience. We've been here many times over the years, and they have really gone above and beyond. Our server was friendly, attentive, and very personable, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming with excellent music playing in the background, and the food was exceptional.

Great Place to visit. Food was tasty and It felt like I was eating In my home country. If you like Nepalese/ Indian food then this place is one of the best place to eat. The person who served food, named Subash was so Nice, kind and Respectful. Similarly, Chef/cook must be Experienced person because food was finger licking good.

Food was average. I ordered Chicken Fried Rice, Chicken Momos and Chicken Hot and Sour Soup. Chicken Fried Rice was ok, a bit bland, expected more flavor. Chicken Momos were ok too as we didn't like the sauce it came with, so we asked for the hot sauce. The filling was good but didn't like the masala it was cooked in. The outer layering was much better and not thick like others places. Hot and Sour soup was definitely hot but was too sour, the chef just went overboard with it. Service was good but the staff just used to disappear. You have to keep looking for them either to get something or even the cheque in the end. Ambience was strictly ok. We were offered the booth seating but it didn't have any foam left. It wasn't comfortable. The place is pretty expensive compared to others. Bill attached. They should definitely work on their prices! With the current scenario, I wouldn't recommend!!

The Curry Pot delivers an unforgettable dining experience. From the moment we walked in, the warm ambiance and attentive service made us feel welcome. Every dish was bursting with flavor — perfectly spiced, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care. We tried the butter chicken, lamb rogan josh, and garlic naan — each bite was better than the last. The portions were generous, and the balance of spices was spot on, offering rich depth without overwhelming heat. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to offer recommendations. Whether you're a longtime lover of Indian cuisine or trying it for the first time, The Curry Pot is a must-visit. Highly recommend — we’ll definitely be back

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Absolutely love this place – 9 years strong! We’ve been coming to Boston Pizza in Vernon for nearly a decade, and it continues to be one of our favorite spots in town. The welcoming atmosphere, consistent service, and great food make it a go-to for us — especially during happy hour in the evenings, which has become a bit of a tradition! A special shoutout to Ian, who has been our regular server over the years. He’s always friendly, attentive, and professional — honestly one of the reasons we keep coming back. He remembers our preferences, checks in at just the right moments, and adds a personal touch that makes every visit feel special. The team here genuinely makes you feel like a valued guest, not just a customer. Whether it’s a casual night out, a family dinner, or just catching up with friends over drinks, Boston Pizza Vernon always delivers — both in quality and service. Highly recommend this location if you’re in town. Thanks again to Ian and the entire staff for making every visit feel like a warm welcome back. Here’s to many more years of great food and great memories!

We ordered a meal last night that was one if the worst meals I have ever had. I order their tropical chicken pizza all the time. This one was even cooked, the chicken is supposed to be spicy, it was white and bland, the cheese was barely melted but the crust was hard and dry. My friends meals didn't fare much better. I am most disappointed considering you pay a premium for their meals. In all the franchised restaurants I have been in, this one severely fell short.

Stopped at this location for quick drink and some apps. The staff here is very friendly and helpful. They have a good variety of drinks and beers, but the food was just ok. we had few different apps, and they were just ok. The Calamari was very dry and small bits and the portions were small for apps. Our Service and Server was great thought. The place is open to the casino so it was interesting seeing all the action from our table. Overall we did enjoy our time here.

The staffs were very friendly and helpful! They would always check in on how we were doing. My father let me try the creamy shrimp pasta and it was delicious! However when I ordered the poutine, it was a little too salty. I hope it is just me, however my taste buds are usually more sensitive than other people’s however I’m not a picky eater. Due to the saltiness of my poutine, I had to give it to my brother to finish it but I love the way the green onions were chopped. The prices are more on the pricier side. Anyways Jesus loves you❤️

Rosalinda's is a no-frills spot that serves classic breakfast and lunch dishes like burgers, eggs, and other comforting staples. It's the perfect place to get acquainted with Filipino cuisine, as this family-run joint offers an authentic experience. Make sure to try their Adobo dish for a taste of their specialty. Without a doubt, my most favourite place for breakfast on the planet. Never had tried longaniza sausage before and it is delish. Same for the purple toast. And always great service from fun servers who like to laugh. And don’t forget the pastries! Unbelievably good and a great price.

Great place and friendly staff! There's not many places to get Filipino food. I had the longsilog for the first time since I was in the Philippines. The halo halo is fantastic. There's options for your picky kids but too (my only critique is that the sweet and sour sauce is actually sweet chili, and the strawberries and cream would be better without the strawberry sauce as it had a sandy texture). Will go again sometime! Sorry about my photo, I had already taken a few bites!

Denny's Restaurant is a popular casual diner chain known for serving classic American comfort food, with a focus on all-day breakfast favorites. Located in the charming town of Vernon, it offers a welcoming atmosphere for both locals and travelers. The restaurant is renowned for its hearty breakfast options, mouthwatering burgers, and overall homey ambiance.
My family and I took a short trip to Vernon a few weeks ago and one late evening we decided to eat at Denny's. While the food was delicious, the customer service was truly outstanding and stood out the most! Our server, Nepalese, completely forgot his name, was incredibly attentive, checking on us so frequently without being intrusive. He went above and beyond, creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. Service like that makes all the difference! Highly recommend.

We always go to Denny’s in Kelowna and enjoy the food and atmosphere, but the Vernon location is just terrible! We came here on our way back to Kelowna and it was the worst meal we had in years. First the server was impatient and coming to our table every 5 seconds asking if we were ready to order. When I asked for help the Manager asked what I wanted from distance! After ordering food came quickly but oh my. Fried fish was soggy, full of oil and tasteless. Whole grain rice looked reheated and also tasteless. Chicken noodle soup with no noodles! Finally the club sandwich was meh. The place looked old and teared down. Not even the outside “Denny’s” sign was working. I don’t recommend and I’ll never come back.

We enjoy Denny's breakfast meals in most places, but Vernon holds a warm place in our hearts. The food is consistently very tasty, served by attentive and kind servers. Visitors can enjoy informative tours showcasing the production process and a tasting experience featuring five different samples. The Kelowna location is known for its killer cocktails and serves as a great spot to enjoy drinks before dinner reservations.
Today was a great day, in large part to our guide Lakin. The building facility is very cool, the tour was great, as was the tasting, and the whole time we had an amazing host. Friendly, knowledgeable (and cute). 100% recommend visiting here and taking a tour. Whether you're a local, or visiting the Okanagan from elsewhere. Support local!!!!! I'm a huge new fan of gin.

We had a marvelous time on our Farm to Flask tasting. Our hostess was very gracious and well-informed. We learned a lot about the process of distilling fine spirits and bought four bottles to take with us. We were very impressed with how everything is sourced locally and how they have found a valuable use for "seconds" apples that are fine but aren't quite "cosmetically good enough" for store shelves. We were also impressed by how all byproducts of the process are composted or given to farmers to feed their animals. It is very impressive and the finished product is top quality.

This distillery was beautiful. The shop front looked nice and we were so glad to be able to stop by. We didn’t do any tastings because we were driving but would have loved to try some of what they had to offer someday. We got ourselves their small bottles of gin/vodka/whiskey as well as a cocktail smoker set. Can’t wait to try it out.

OkanaganSpirits Craft Distillery makes two bourbon style whiskeys that are at least equal but I believe superior to anything from Tennessee or Kentucky-BRBN and Whisky Hunter: Nectar of the Gods. If you are in Vernon or Kelowna, go for a tasting. If the B.C. government would do the right thing and rightfully provide B.C. distillers with the same support as BC wineries, you would be able to find these on B.C. Liquor Store shelves while they are empty of US whiskeys. We all need to advocate for 100% BC farm to bottle products.

We did a tour and a tasting of the distillery with Andrew, and it was fantastic. Excellent spirits and very informative. I would highly recommend coming here if you are even remotely interested in how spirits are made. All the staff are friendly and willing to answer questions. Thanks again Andrew for a great tour and tasting.

We had such a lovely time at Okanagan Spirits Craft Distillery in Vernon. We did a tour with Andrew, who was amazing! The tour was the perfect balance of learning about the fascinating history of the distillery and tasting the whiskey. The whiskey choices were varied in flavour and the tasting did a good job of going through the different flavour profiles. The distillery is a welcoming space- I saw kid's toys and a lovely shop, so even if you yourself are not a whiskey fan, it's still a great experience!

Loved the experience and Steph. She made us feel right at home gave us some cocktail ideas and we came away with an assortment of sprints that we would not have tried or bought had it not been for her creativity. Thank you

We did not have a reservation but they were able to accommodate my family of four on a busy weekend. The food looked and tasted delicious, so flavourful. We had no complaints at all. The service was awesome. Overall we had an amazing experience!

This restaurant is incredible! It’s my first time here and it’s 100% my new favourite place to eat. The atmosphere is so calm and romantic, The service is quick and efficient, and oh my god the food is astounding! I got the lobster gnocchi and my partner got the bison. Not only are the prices extremely reasonable but the food is the best I’ve ever tasted! We also got the bread and tomato soup as an appy and those were also incredible! I wish I could give more than 5 stars honestly because this place deserves it! 🙌
Tarryn K — Google review
We had a wonderful experience at The Med! The food was absolutely excellent—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The service was warm and attentive, making us feel well taken care of throughout our meal. The decor added to the atmosphere with a stylish and inviting vibe. Overall, a fantastic dining experience—I’d highly recommend The Med to anyone visiting Vernon!

A charming atmosphere that makes you feel like you're on vacation. The staff were super friendly. The seafood was the star of the show, absolutely delicious. However, the tomato soup was a bit of a letdown. It tasted like it had been crying all day. 😭 And speaking of tears, I almost cried when I realized that, due to supply issues, there wasn't any beef on the menu. Where's the beef?! 🥩 Settled for a pasta dish that was certainly lackluster of meat (chicken & Italian sausage). Overall, The Med is a great spot for a casual night out. Just be sure to come hungry and with a love for seafood. 🐟"

My partner and I found this restaurant on Google and decided to give it a try. We are so glad we did. The food was delicious, service was amazing, and the price point was on par with the whole experience. We will definitely visit again on our next trip to Vernon.
Jo S — Google review
We had the piri-piri chicken and the seafood paella; the chicken was fresh and hot without being dry, the paella wasn't overpowered by the saffron, and the ingredients used for both tasted superb. I genuinely can't think of a time when I've had better chicken or paella. The price point was reasonable, the atmosphere was lovely, and the staff were friendly. A great place all around.

A great evening all around. Food was great. Paella, Short Rib Gnocchi, Tuscan Pasta. Delicious. Service was great and a warm experience. Bravo

The food was delicious, with plenty of options to choose from. Every seafood appetizer on the menu was tasty. I would highly recommend the Marrakech chicken, Short rib, gnocchi, And the lamb. It is a small restaurant so it’s quite personal and Romantic. The portions are large and the desserts are fantastic as well. I highly recommend this as a date spot for Vernon! Keep up the quality work it was amazing.

Vietnamese restaurant
Pho Fusion, the 115th eatery in Vernon, stands out for its unexpectedly spacious interior with around fifteen tables. The restaurant offers a Vietnamese twist on Pad Thai, serving generous portions and providing prompt, clean, and friendly service. Notably, they offer sauces to enhance the flavor of the dish. Despite playing local radio music which some may find mildly bothersome, Pho Fusion is highly recommended by many as a Vietnamese-style restaurant in Vernon.
This place has it all. Great quality fresh food you can taste! Service with an amazing smile and kindness like as if I was at someone home for dinner. SUPER amazing shout out to Paige the lovely young server made this meal great! Vernon I tell you, you're so lucky to have such a great local Pho place! Amazing broth and again so so good!

Good noodles! Service was pleasant and efficient. Only thing we had an issue with was that they did not have sprouts, basil, and lime on the side. There were sprouts in the bowl already and basil was missing. Still all the noodles we tried were quite tasty. Phnom phen noodle is a must try!
Kanako S — Google review
The food was okay. It is very fresh, however the taste is not as flavorful as the other pho restaurants I’ve been to. The waitresses were very kind and friendly which I appreciate however it took nearly 45 minutes for our phos to arrive. My dad nearly fell asleep while waiting. It was quite pricey too for pho, usually for large side in metro Vancouver, the bowls would be bigger. Anyways, Jesus loves y’all❤️
Maple L — Google review
Delicious food with a great menu, the spicy peanut soup has been recommended to me multiple times and never disappoints! Great vermicelli bowls with fresh toppings. Sometimes it can be quite busy and having consistent service can be tricky, but the quality is unmatched and it makes sense that they’d be busy.

This is my go to Vietnamese Restaurant. The food is always well prepared. It is always fresh and tasty. Prices although they have gone up, as they have everywhere, are still reasonable. I think I go here more than any other restaurant in Vernon. Always a winner.

Pho Fusion was my 115th eatery in Vernon on my quest to eat at every eatery in Vernon. It is a much bigger area inside than you would expect. There are about fifteen tables inside. I ordered vegetarian Pad Thai. The portion was bigger than I expected. The service was super quick, clean, and friendly. They give you sauces to put on your Pad Thai too. It was definitely a Vietnamese style of doing Pad Thai. It was still really good. I paid $26.45 after tax and a 15 percent tip for vegetarian Pad Thai and a root beer. The music inside is just from the local radio station which can be mildly annoying to listen to. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant and am glad I chose this as my 115th eatery in Vernon. 115 down. 40ish to go!
Logan S — Google review
Place was great. I wud give 5 stars but the service was poor. And I understand. They were busy. But when I go without water for 20 minutes. Thats a bit much. Off day. Whatever. Food was delicious. We liked it very much. We will be returning. Great job to everyone

Great pho in Vernon! I had the beef ball pho. The beef broth is very flavourful and the bell balls had the perfect 'bounce'. My husband had the house special vermecelli and said it was great as well, came with lots of meat. The spring rolls were also great, especially the pork ones. They were wrapped in the rice paper which provided the perfect crispiness.

This contemporary chain establishment offers a bright and airy ambiance, serving an array of Japanese delicacies such as bento boxes, sushi, and hot dishes. Accompanied by pleasant service from the staff, the food at Wasabi Sushi & Grill is truly delightful. The menu boasts tantalizing options like Mango rolls, Spicy veggie rolls, tofu yakisoba, Vege Cone, California Cone, Miso Soup, Iced Tea, and root beer.
Amazing sushi and fantastic staff! I asked for gluten free soy sauce and the staff went above and beyond to not only provide gluten free soy sauce but also to make sure the rolls I ordered were gluten free as well! Food was brought out fairly quick and presentation was great as well. Highly recommend!

Staff was super nice! I got take out and ate right away buuutt… The rice was dry on my rolls. They weren’t well formed and some were falling apart. I didn’t get the impression that they were incredibly fresh. I’d also say slightly above average prices for casual sushi.

Last time I was there had a good experience. Today went there for me and my wife's anniversary. No body to greet you. A lady from the end of the store after a while yelled to grab a seat. All the tables were dirty. We sat and waited and waited and waited. Nobody came to our table, so.we just got up and left went somewhere else. I wouldn't reccomend this place anymore.
Godisknocking 7 — Google review
Nice variety in the bento box, busy the day we ate there. Spare, functional dining area, efficient service (one person managed all the tables herself!) prices are reasonable. There are better sushi spots downtown, but Wasabi is not bad and it is locally-owned, which is important to us!
P A — Google review
Overall underwhelming experience here. The good: salmon roll and spicy tuna roll were generously sized and flavourful although they were prepared in a rather sloppy fashion. The beer was cold and served in a glass. Sadly the lunch bento’s highlight was the rice. Followed by the crispy assorted tempura which was good but too small a portion relative to the price. The chicken teriyaki was 3x thin slivers of meat and the vegetables were piping hot but under cooked. On top of that they were so oily that they completely saturated the rice they were served with making for a less than ideal dish. Now the gyoza and spring roll were disgusting little bites and had no place being served in any restaurant. Also no sauce served for either. The salad was super salty which was surprising after the also salty miso. Staff was pleasant. I wouldn’t recommend.

The Fig in Vernon offers a refreshing break from indulgent treats with its menu of hearty bowls, salads, and sandwiches. While they do offer tempting pastries like scones and cinnamon buns, the focus here is on fresh, vibrant veggies and proteins. The cozy atmosphere at The Fig Bistro downtown complements their exceptional sandwiches and soups, such as the Chorizo Breakfast Wrap.
We planned a lunch at the Fig Bistro when visiting a friend in Vernon. We were unable to snag a patio seat but scored a comfortable table inside. The staff working were friendly, greeted us and offered to answer any of questions. We each decided to each try a different sandwich. We were not disappointed. They were flavorful and very filling. Portion sizes were great. However, the highlight of the lunch was the ICED CHAI LATTE. WOW. I am still thinking about how good that was. The flavor was great and hit the spot. My only regret is not taking another one to go. The bathroom facilities were clean. All in all we enjoyed our lunch and I will be back the next time I am in Vernon for the chai!
Kristi K — Google review
I had requested a catered lunch takeout! The lunch was for 10 people. The sandwiches were good, the dessert was fair. However, I do not appreciate being automatically charged 15% on a takeout order of $300.00. The tipping has gone too far! If I had not been told by my staff that 15% was already added I may have left another small tip., the debit machine was prompting to tip more and the staff at the fig were not telling me that 15% had already been added to the bill.. There's no service with takeout you simply pick up give them your card and leave. BS.
Birgit G — Google review
The name change went along with a change in decor. The colour on the wall is brighter and there is original art from local artists on the wall. Setup of chairs and tables appears to be the same. The food is your typical sandwich shop food; soup, sandwiches, salad. They have some pastries that look freshly baked. Chips and pop are also available. The food was very fresh. Everyone ordered something different, but we all enjoyed what we had. It did not look like huge portions, but no one left hungry. The staff were friendly and efficient. I would definitely come back for lunch sometime.
Brad I — Google review
Second time I ate here. The price is good for the soup and sandwich. It was a nice big fresh sandwich. I took a little off my rating because the water dispenser needs to be changed out. I am not going to say why in this rating and it could be just me but give it a good check over.
Stuart C — Google review
I ate here 2 years ago and it was pretty good. I just ate here again yesterday and the food was disappointing. I ordered a spicy beef sandwich and it was tiny with hardly any meat in it and no sides for $13. It was mostly cabbage and mayo mixed with sirracha. Tasted bad and felt like a rip off. Probably cost $2.50 to produce (ingredients plus labour plus over head included). I won't eat here again.
Tammy D — Google review
Food was quite good. The soup, corn chowder, had a thin broth rather than what I would’ve expected to be a thicker broth for a chowder. However, it was very tasty.

Joey's Seafood Restaurants in Vernon is a delightful spot that promises a fantastic dining experience. On a recent visit, the bustling atmosphere was complemented by attentive and efficient staff, ensuring everything ran smoothly even during peak hours. The restaurant boasts a clean environment with tidy restrooms, making it an inviting place for families or anyone looking to enjoy quality seafood. Diners rave about the delicious fish and chips, with some even noting how their tofufish resembles chicken nuggets in taste!
Joey's Seafood is my 117th eatery in Vernon on my quest to eat at every eatery in Vernon. I bought six pieces of Tofufish and chips. After tax and 15 percent tip it came to $16.91. The tofufish tasted like chicken nuggets. The waitress was extremely friendly and funny. The restaurant has a lot of TVs. The place was clean too! I will definitely be coming back here. I was amazed by how full I was after spending under $17. 117 eateries in Vernon complete; 40ish to go!

Saw a coupon in the paper for their Double Catch meal for $17. Decided to use it only to find out it was just a savings of $1.00. The fish was good but nothing to rave about. I’ve had better fish and chips in town for around the same price or cheaper. The fry’s were On the skimpy side and just ordinary. The coleslaw was tasty but again a very meager portion. My friend had the “All you can Eat” Fish Tacos. They were good but had to wait a long time for refills to come even though the place wasn’t that busy.
C M — Google review
We haven't eaten at Joey's Only in over 20 years, but I have to say today it was so delicious. Hubby and I shared an order of fish and chips - huge mistake! It was so good that we both wanted more. Their gravy is the best! They were skimpy on the fries, which was different because I remember getting so many fries back in the day. We can't wait to go back! Spoiler alert.... it'll be very soon.
LA W — Google review
Went with a coupon $10 for 2 pieces of fish. My husband told the (owner, manager, waitress busboy and I’m sure cook) that we wanted to split that, before he could finish ordering, she barked no way are we splitting a $10 dish. We also wanted the lobster bisque soup $10. She also told us we couldn’t split. So my husband said the soup is for my wife and the fish is for me. She got the soup wrong and gave us the seafood chowder and charged us for the bisque. I felt like we were homeless people in her restaurant. She has always been rude when ever we have gone in there. The fish was good but the fries were not cooked. I would not have put it past her to have spit in the soup. We will not be going back to Joey’s restaurant. She totally ruined my day.

Poor food for the money. Served on a tray. Not impressed! Tonight we did a take-out. I should have reviewed my first review as above. 50.00 for 2 meals. 4 fish and fries. 3.00 for a mouthful of slaw! I know food costs have soared but this is hwy robbery. Never again!

Went here on a Monday night, and it seemed busy- maybe due to the great special they were having. But you would not have noticed, because the staff were so fast and wonderful. The food was perfect. The place smelled and looked very clean, and the restrooms were very tidy. Even though our waitress (possibly the manager?) was training a new server, they had that place running like a well oiled machine, obviously. Would definetly bring my fussy mom or my grandma there next time, as I know they would love it!

A bright, large, open coffee shop right in the downtown area. Lots of space, friendly staff, excellent coffee and tea, and a surprisingly large foods menu, including sandwich and soup options. All tasty, all nicely priced, too. They offer a small meeting room to rent by the hour (looks sort of like a small library) with a large table that can seat around 8-10 people if you need a space, and the price is quite reasonable. Be considerate and encourage your meeting guests to buy something at the counter.

Great setting just outside of the city with cute wildflowers lining the path from the parking lot to the restaurant. Food was excellent, service was kind of slow with a half-full restaurant. Starting getting breezy and things knocked over on the table, servers did nothing even when I asked them to clear away an empty can or plates. But the server was knowledgable about the food and cider options. Such a cute set up for outside tables and inside had a nice contemporary look with nature themes. Wish I had time to go back one more time.

"Exemplary" seems inadequate against the fulsome experience we enjoyed at Cambium Cidery & Restaurant. This lovely orchard setting and passionate culinary offering were harvest delights for the senses. Melissa, one of the owners, was not only accommodating, she ensured all was thoughtfully arranged for the very special milestone birthday combined with our Thanksgiving celebration. From the enticing choices of welcome Cambium Cider Cocktails, to the The Executive Chef's exquisite menu offerings we experienced a gastronomic melody. Thoughtful choices of local quality harvest appropriately paced with friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating service, messaged: quality customer experience is a top goal. I would list this introduction to Cambium as not only memorable, but inspiring. Thank you, Cambium team. You have left an indelible mark on our family. A memory that will be long cherished and fondly remembered.

First time checking out Cambium Cidery & Restaurant. Last time we were here, it was BX Press. They now have a full fledged restaurant serving wood-fired pizzas. There's a dozen cider flavours, bottles (500mL) are $8.33 to $9.65. Tastings are $4.35/person, non-refundable for four pours; modern apple, earl grey, rhubarb, cherry and raspberry lavender (bonus). Best was the rhubarb. Bought a couple of bottles; blackcurrant cardamom ($9.15), rhubarb ($9.65) and winter ($8.33).

Gerni’s Farmhouse - Adult Only 16+ offers a taste of authentic Austrian cuisine in a rustic setting at Sparkling Hill Resort. The restaurant is housed in an original 16th-century building from Weerberg, Austria, providing guests with traditional architecture and dishes like Bratwurst and Beef Goulash with bread dumplings. Casual attire is welcome, making it a convenient dining option after outdoor activities like mountain biking at Predator Ridge.
This is our third visit—we come here every summer! This time, I tried the braised beef and it was phenomenal. Definitely ordering it again. My husband had the pork knuckle, which was both delicious and authentic. The staff were super friendly, and the views are absolutely stunning. Worth every penny!
Amanda X — Google review
A long overdue review I'm not well travelled enough to comment on the authenticity as others have, but this definitely ranks among the top in service, outdoor patio views, and delicious food. Great option for those staying in sparkling hill. My theory is: if it reminds others of their hometown, it's authentic enough for me. Run by some of the kindest people. We were even wished a great evening by one of the chefs on their way through the rear kitchen doors. A+

The restaurant is literally in a Tyrolian building imported for this purpose. Classic German food incl schnitzel and apple strudel. Food quality was ok. Choose the chicken which was better than the pork version. Service was great with Erin. Interesting beer options. The walk to the restaurant is steep. So ask for a golf cart if you have folks in your group that may find this difficult.

Incredible setting for amazing food. We cycled up from the paddling club in Vernon for a bite at Gerni's. We enjoyed the schnitzel and pork knuckle with the apple strudel all were delish and service on point. Highly recommend if you're in the north Okanagan. The farm house was a real treat to learn about.

A true European experience in Canada!! The building was originally a farmhouse in Austria and was disassembled and shipped to sparkling hill and reassembled there! Food is authentic and dining inside feels nice and cozy like you're warming up in a winter chalet and the patio is beautiful in the summer!

Gerni's Farmhouse was my 227th eatery in Vernon. The decor of this building and the view of the lake is incredible. The restaurant divided into four rooms with multiple tables is really neat. The staff was friendly and the service was fast. However, after 227 eateries in Vernon, I was amazed by how much I paid for so little. I bought a bean patty with a salad for $32 and a soda for $4. After tax and tip I paid $44. Before tip I was at $37.80. Other fine dining restaurants in Vernon typically include bread. There wasn't even a little snack or mint given out after the meal. The taste of the meal wasn't exceptional either. It wasn't bad, but it didn't warrant the fine dining price tag. Again, the staff, the decor, and the lake view was great, but the food accompanied by its price tag was a disappointment. Intermezzo, The Med, Los Huesos, Range, and to a lesser extent The Edge, in my opinion, are a bit more suited if your goal is more for fine dining rather than decor.
Logan S — Google review
Dining at Gerni’s Farmhouse Restaurant was a truly enjoyable experience from start to finish. I ordered the chicken schnitzel and spinatknödel (spinach and bread dumplings)—both dishes were freshly made, flavorful, and served in generous portions that exceeded expectations. Our server was very professional and welcoming, adding warmth to the overall experience with attentive and friendly service. The real highlight was the patio seating, which offers stunning views of Lake Okanagan. Surrounded by nature and fresh air, it’s an ideal setting for a relaxing meal. Gerni’s combines excellent food, thoughtful service, and a spectacular atmosphere—highly recommended.

If you're a pizza enthusiast, you won't want to miss the delightful experience at Pizza Hut in Vernon, British Columbia. This beloved chain is not just about delicious pizzas; it also offers mouthwatering wings, pasta dishes, and an array of tempting sides and desserts. The inviting atmosphere makes it perfect for dining in or grabbing takeout.
Great pizza and great staff. They are really quick with their service and kind when helping you. I ordered the walk in special that’s offered daily from 11am to 4pm. They had my order ready in 12 minutes.
Joachim M — Google review
Ordered at 10 PM, got a call back asking how I’d pay. Said cash — they refused. Switched to debit, suddenly it’s fine. Show up and get handed two large pizzas that are stone cold, half raw, and with barely any cheese. Worst Pizza Hut I’ve ever had. When I went back to complain, they basically yelled at me and made it seem like I was the problem. On top of that, the girl admitted they had already cashed out at 10:30 because their boss “doesn’t give them enough time” to cash out at 11 — even though the store is open until 11. So instead of serving proper food, they rush to close early and dump garbage on customers. Absolute embarrassment of a Pizza Hut.
Amanda S — Google review
Pizza Hut was my 120th eatery in Vernon on my quest to eat at every eatery in Vernon. I have ordered Pizza Hut three or four times over the past ten years in Vernon. In contrast to the other chains, Pizza Huts across Canada typically are the most expensive even with their coupons, and have the highest deliveries and debit service charge prices. Pizza Huts here are terrible in contrast to the ones in Europe where you can do All You Can Eat buffets for 12 Euros. However, I was very pleasantly surprised by my dine in experience here. It was my first time dining in Vernon at Pizza Hut. I bought a personal Veggie Lovers $5.75 after tax. I was told it would be ten minutes. I came back nine minutes later and it was already done. There was also an electronic carry out board which was cool to see. The taste was slightly better than every other Pizza Hut in the world. It's not awesome, but it definitely exceeded my expectations. Staff was super friendly and really know what they are doing. They don't control coupons or quality of ingredients. They ace everything that is under their control. If you just finished watching a movie at the theatre this summer, come eat here inside instead of Original Joe's. Trust me. 120 down. 30ish eateries in Vernon to go!

Pizza was decent, service was sketchy. When we arrived, we learned the girl at the counter had sent our pizzas with the gentleman before us. She ran out to the parking lot to get him to bring them back and instructed him to hand us our pizzas. Our pizzas that had left the store with another customer and been taken to their car... While the gentleman seemed nice enough, pretty sure this is a Food Safe violation. I understand wanting to avoid food waste, but she needed to at least ask us if we were okay with this, not just expect compliance without complaint. Very poor communication; some training is needed.

I have never paid online before....always paid upon delivery. Well, today, for some reason, that seemed like the only option. So I did it. I waited and waited....to hear a knock on the door or the doorbell to ring, or, my puppy to start barking to let me know someone was at the door.....NOTHING. Finally, after about an hour, I checked my email and it showed that my pizza had been delivered....!!! I opened the door and there it was....sitting on the floor of the porch in the stinking cold NOVEMBER weather...!!! I am furious...!!!! And will be taking a trip into the store tomorrow for them to make it right. COLD PIZZA SUX!
Gypsy L — Google review
Tasted great and was ready exceptionally fast which was good. They definitely could have spent some more time making sure the quality was there however. 4 of the 5 pizzas we ordered were pretty half hazardous put together with all the toppings being very uneven. Most pieces looked unidentifiable as being from the same pizza. The chicken ceasar was the most noticeable, having hardly any chicken and half the pieces being mostly sauce and cheese. Would have appreciated a little more time and care going into the food seeing as we paid $90 for the family to have a fun evening together. Pretty disappointed with the quality

Staff here are fantastic and the place is always clean and organized! What's not to love it's Pizza Hut! Bring back the buffet

Most disappointing pizza in years. Dr. O frozen is 10x better. Although the crust was amazing it was all these PIZZAS were. Ordered 2 large specialty pizzas. The sauce was scarce, cheese, not even sure if there was cheese and the toppings were almost none existant. Will not be back. Clearly pizza hut is a thing of the past.

This weekend, I had the pleasure of dining at The Edge Restaurant & Bar, and it was an experience to remember! Nestled atop a mountain, this gem offers breathtaking views of the city lights that truly enhance your meal. The decor is stunning, with high ceilings and artistic touches that create a sophisticated yet inviting atmosphere. Our server Grace was delightful—her warmth and attentiveness made our brunch even more enjoyable. While she seemed a bit overwhelmed by the bustling crowd, her kindness shone through.
We had a wonderful dining experience at The Edge. The drive up was scenic and set the tone for what turned out to be a very memorable evening. Our server, Galvino, was an absolute joy—friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. He made us feel welcome right away and took great care of us throughout the evening. The atmosphere and views at The Edge are stunning—peaceful and beautifully designed. We were also really impressed by the vegan options. The beet ravioli, Okanagan beet salad, and portabella mushroom tacos were all delicious. The mocktails were equally impressive—refreshing and thoughtfully crafted. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great food, great service, and a setting that feels like a little escape.

Food 4.5/5: My salmon dish was SO good. Such a unique fantastically balanced tasting dish with simple & intentional ingredients. My husbands steak was tiny and fried were a bit underdone and very whatever. We loved the wine pairing mentions on the menu u and both got a glass of what was mentioned and were very pleased. Price is very high for what you get but the views on the patio and the ambiance in the dining room are WELL worth that added premium on the dishes. Service 5/5: we had a very experienced server - very warm and effortless service. Vibes 5/5: the ability to walk onto the patio with not wait on a weekend evening was great! Our view at golden hour was very memorable. I’m so excited for this restaurant to put Vernon on the map for tourists. Overall, the prices won’t bring in the locals except for special occasions but with the tourists this attracts, I hope we can expect an expanded resort up there soon.

If you’re visiting from out of town you must eat here. The service is always amazing and the food is always balanced and delicious l. last night Gavrilo took care of us and was knowledgeable about all of the items on the menu and had excellent recommendations. The view from the outdoor seating area is like nothing else you’ll find in the city, even the drive to this establishment is stunning.

Unbelievable venue. The architecture is so beautiful and the staff were so friendly! We had Josh and he was an absolute beauty. Cannot beat the view and atmosphere. The price of the entrees was very reasonable and the selection of beer and ciders was perfect. Meal was amazing and all the recommend items were fantastic. I will be back.

Wow! Wow! Wow! The Edge experience was next level! The decor & views are some of the best I’ve ever scene! We started with a cocktail by the huge fireplace in the comfy seats. The cocktail selection was very creative and all of the drinks we ordered were tasty. I had the rhubarb Fizz & it was delish!! Our server was attentive, knowledgeable and excellent. Our food from appy to desert was scrumptious! I will be dreaming of my next visit!

We got the tomahawk dinner for two. I was extremely disappointed with what showed up at the table. The sides we're miniature. The salad was served in bowl the size of a ramekin. This was not a salad for two or even one.It looked like a joke. Same thing with the potato side. These are odd things to cheep out on. Memorable in the fact it was so disappointing. I would not recommend eating here based on our experience.
Geoff H — Google review
The Edge Restaurant is quite possibly the best spot in Vernon if you’re looking to take someone out for a proper meal with a view. The setting is absolutely superb, perched high up with sweeping views across the valley, it really does feel rather special. The atmosphere is relaxed yet refined, and the staff are excellent, which makes the whole experience that much more enjoyable. I didn’t golf, just went along for dinner and dessert on a couple of occasions, and it was well worth the trip. If you sit outside in the evening, do be prepared for the mosquitos, which can be a bit of a nuisance, though the fire pit and the views more than make up for it. As for the food, I had the chicken burger, it was decent enough, nothing particularly mind-blowing, but perfectly enjoyable. In truth, it’s the ambience, the service, and above all the views that make The Edge a must-try. Well worth a visit at least once, and worth the drive up the hill.
Ram S — Google review
We had a great experience at The Edge Restaurant in Vernon. The burgers were amazing, and the Lobster & Wagyu noodle is absolutely to die for – highly recommend trying it! The restaurant itself is beautiful, and the view is truly stunning. The only downside was the service, which could be a little more attentive. There’s definitely room for improvement in that area. Overall though, the food and atmosphere make it worth a visit, and we’ll definitely be back.

Masiero Pizzeria Napoletana is a delightful culinary destination that promises an authentic taste of Neapolitan pizza. During my visit, I savored the prosciutto mozzarella pizza topped with fresh arugula, all baked to perfection in a traditional wood oven fueled by local applewood. The inviting atmosphere features a stylish interior and a long bar where you can enjoy their selection of reasonably priced drinks, including plans for BC craft beers on tap in the future.
One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Vernon in a long time. Alex, the owner, is doing an amazing job at Masiero. Between the incredible wood fired, Neapolitan style pizza, delicious dessert and cocktails, the amazing staff and warm and welcoming setting, this is my favorite place for an unforgettable evening. I can’t recommend Masiero enough!

Some of the best pizza you will find in Vernon if not in all of BC!!! The crusts are done to perfection for my liking (if you like it crispy simply ask for crispy). The deserts are incredible as well. The servers were also timely and very friendly.

My 2.5-year-old, freshly recharged after a big nap, came in jumping around — and the hostess immediately matched his vibe, bouncing toward him and playing along. I didn’t catch her name, but she had my heart in that moment! Every staff member who helped us was equally friendly and pleasant. The restaurant itself was absolutely beautiful, the food was amazing, and the staff truly out of this world. ⭐️ 10/10 — highly recommend this place!
Camila B — Google review
Nice restaurant setting featuring a beautiful Italian wood-fired oven that adds to the authentic atmosphere. The service was friendly and welcoming. The pizza itself had a great crust with excellent flavour and texture, though I felt it was a bit light on toppings for the price. While slightly expensive for what you get, I’d still recommend this place for its quality pizzas, pleasant ambiance, and overall enjoyable dining experience.

12 out of 10 experience! Finally a pizza place in Vernon that makes you feel like you're in Italy. Our waitress Celine was well versed with the wine selection and has an exceptional knowledge of what would pair well together. The restaurant was quite open yet had a cosy dim lit feel, Perfect for a first date or an anniversary dinner. Top picks would be the Burrata, Carpaccio, Pesca Pancetta Pizza, Proscitto Pizza, Tiramisu and the Lemon Tart. I would recommend everyone to give their tastebuds a trip to Italy.

Oh my goodness!! Y'all have GOT to visit this pizzeria! The food is really good, but the atmosphere...our waitress...A-MAZ-ING!!! Seriously, y'all need a dose of Miranda. If I could, I'd put her in my pocket and take her home with me. Miranda, thank you for your sweetness and your delightful energy 💕

You have to check this place out! We were just stopping through on a road trip, and stumbled upon this gem of a pizza place. Miranda was so gracious and helpful in choosing wine and pizza options, and Mel was the speediest chef I’ve ever met. Both were delightful and made me want to stay for hours! The pizza options are amazing, and you can taste the quality and freshness of the ingredients. If you’re in Vernon or even close to Lake Country, you will not be disappointed. We had the “Spicy N’duja pizza & a pepperoni pizza with a “burrata bomb”.

Olive Us Olive Oil and Vinegar Tasting Room is a charming shop dedicated to offering an elevated experience for olive oil and balsamic vinegar enthusiasts. The store features a tasting bar where visitors can sample ultra-premium olive oils, traditional style condimento balsamic vinegars, and naturally flavored infused olive oils. Customers can taste, pair, and compare different varieties while receiving helpful recommendations from the friendly staff.
This was my 182nd "eatery" in Vernon on my quest to eat at every eatery in Vernon. Does olive oil count? Let's say it does. They do free tastings here. They educated me about the oil and basalmic vinegar pairings as I tried twelve free samples like it was a gelato shop. The staff was very friendly and patient. I eventually purchased a dill bottle and a baklouti chili bottle as they were my two favourite tastings. I highly recommend popping in here for a tasting.

I was vacationing / visiting family in Vernon from ontario and was brought to this store . We had Wonderful experience at the tasting bar . Never thought I’d enjoy tasting vinegars and oils . But lo and behold , I loved everything . I made a few purchases . I was then introduced to the simple syrup and offered a lovely drink recipe . We made the drink that night (featuring whisky ) and it was fabulous. I had to go back the next day to get extra supplies to bring home . I made the drinks for a couple girlfriends and they loved it . I planned a lot of Christmas presents and will definitely be ordering in the future . Thanks for the lovely experience and fantastic vinegars . Blenheim apricot white balsamic is my favourite.

It is clear that Ray, Jan, Bailey, Pat, and team care for their customers and care to be in community with community. You feel it the moment you walk in the store. No wonder they have received awards for customer service and overall best in business. Now the products carried here? Top quality olive oils, balsamics, salts, pastas, preserves, chocolates and a whole lot more! A welcome bonus is that you can choose to enjoy your own private oils or vinegar tastings along with ideas in how to use, tips, and educational information. You really must shop here for the experience and the goodies that will please the eyes and palate!

Range Restaurant was my 197th eatery on my quest to eat at every eatery in Vernon. My dad ordered the fish and chips and I ordered nachos. I paid $35.02 after tax and an 18 percent tip for my nachos and Coca Cola sodas. It was $28 before tax and tip. They don't have any two person tables by the window. Given how busy it frequently gets here, the only free two person table happened to be next to a vent for the duration of the meal. If you are a group of 4 or more with a reservation, you'll likely get a beautiful table by the window. My nachos were a decent portion, but the entire bottom layer didn't really have any cheese or ingredients on it. These aren't the worst nachos in Vernon, but they weren't the best either. Because my dad and I had never been to Predator Ridge before, we took a walk outside after our meal. My dad really liked his fish and chips. If you avoid steaks and the fancy stuff, prices are reasonable. Deep fried pickles are $16, though. I avoided ordering deep fried pickles because of the steep price. Overall, we were happy with our meal but I wouldn't do the nachos again. 197 eateries in Vernon are now complete, and I only have five remaining in town.

Beautiful views overlooking predator Ridge golf course and the beautiful Valley of Vernon. First time here and we were able to get in for lunch with a great view, comfortable seating, beautiful decor and ambience and friendly staff. My son had the bacon burger and it was a huge delicious tasting meat patty and the french fries were cooked perfectly. My barbacoa wrap with small side salad was soooo 😋 tasty and delicious. Can't wait to come here again and try their breakfast and other menu items

Predator Ridge Resort, located in Vernon, British Columbia, Canada, is renowned for its world-class golf courses, stunning natural landscapes, and luxurious accommodations. It is an ideal destination for golf enthusiasts, family vacations, and those seeking a relaxing getaway. One of the resort’s highlights is the RANGE Restaurant, Bar + Patio, which offers a truly unique dining experience. Enjoying a meal on the patio, guests are treated to breathtaking views of the golf course — endless green fairways stretching under blue skies, framed by distant mountains. With delicious food, fresh air, and the warmth of the sun, it's a moment of pure serenity. What more could one ask for?

Went here on Friday, July 18th. My friends surprised me with a lovely birthday dinner, the food was fantastic and the servers were great too. Only thing is having to ask for utensils every time a different course came out, which is whatever, not the main point of this review. However, the only reason I am not giving a 5 stars is because I got stung by a bee while we were seated on the patio, which I am severely allergic to. When we requested for any type of medical personnel or kit, our waitress checked and informed us they had zero medical personnel available. Our waitress did note that they usually are round, but we would hope that at a golf course/resort there would be at least one person available with a medical kit. Again our meal was amazing, but I was trouble by the lack of availability of medically trained staffing. Update: just want to say thank you to the owner for acknowledging my post and for taking more precautions, along with more training for the staff :)

Customers rave about the mouthwatering rib lunch special and the inviting patio, perfect for summer visits. The menu features exceptional dishes such as juicy beef dip, flavorful poutine, and elevated classics like BLT and Clubhouse sandwiches.
Perfect, classic style pub. Wings are amazing. Downstairs if you want to sit at the bar and watch the game is great. Upstairs if you want it a little quieter it's very spacious with tons of screens and 2 fireplaces. I was told the patio was just recently remodeled and it's really spacious and very inviting. Locally owned and operated. I think I found a new hang out. ☺️

Fantastic pub with amazing rooftop patio and great food. When you walk inside you are blown away by the decor, the painting, and all the little details. We grabbed a seat on the patio under an umbrella and grabbed some local beer. Started with the Tuna Tataki which I thought was weird for a pub, but was actually quite delightful. Then had the Tikka Masala and Bangers and Mash which were absolutely amazing. Shockingly good pub food!

Our sever was also the bar tender & he was friendly & efficient. It was surprisingly not busy at all for a Saturday evening. The food was quick, delishious & very well priced! Over all sir Winston's pub has great food, friendly service, a nice comfortable atmosphere & all at very affordable prices!! This pub should be busy every night of the week! Without cocktails a person can eat well for around the same price as a fast food restaurant. Sir Winston's pub has my recommendation as the top spot to grab a bite & enjoy a drink while in Vernon! Ordered the poutine. One of the worst I've had. Crinkle cut fries, stringy type cheese (not real curds), I wasn't able to finish it which is unlike me. Not hard to do a good poutine. We visited The Winston Pub last night and had an amazing experience! Their Thursday night deal of a pound of wings for only $9.50 is unbeatable, and the wings were incredible—perfectly crispy, full of flavor, and the mouth-watering chunky fresh blue cheese dressing that came with the wings was insane! Restaurant
The Italian Kitchen Company in downtown Vernon offers a warm and inviting family atmosphere with large wooden tables and exposed brick, reminiscent of cozy family dinners. The homemade comfort food is rich in flavor and served in generous portions, making it perfect for sharing. Despite initial skepticism from some diners, the restaurant has turned over a new leaf under possible new ownership. The delicious food is thoughtfully prepared and plated, complemented by friendly service in a cozy dining room setting.
This is a lovely Italian restaurant on the main downtown strip near the Vernon Library. The atmosphere and music taken me back to Italy with a relaxed mello ambiance. It is fantastic. This is a great spot for a romantic meal and many couples came in during our time there. I ordered an 9 oz Italian red wine by the glass which works out to 2 glasses. My husband had a coffee which he had without cream (unusual for him) and stated it was “fantastic”. After we ordered our meals, they presented us with fresh homemade bread which was drool worthy. I ordered the lasagna which you could tell instantly was made fresh with fresh noodles and was extremely tasty. My husband ordered the Seafood cioppino which was a combination of scallops, shrimp, and mussels and risotto and red sauce cooked to perfection. Finally, no Italian meal is complete without a dessert of which we choose the Italian classic tiramisu. We could hear the chefs whipping the cream in the kitchen. It came topped with fresh whipped cream, strawberries and raspberries. The taste of the tiramisu was devine. Smooth creamy with just the right amount of flavour. Like the rest of the meal, another dish made perfectly. The servers kept checking in on us at just the right moments. Price was extremely reasonable at at around $100/2 including drinks and a dessert. We spent just over 1.5 hours relaxing and enjoying our meal. Overall, we would come back and try the other dishes but could see ourselves just popping in for the awesome coffee and dessert. Highly recommend this restaurant.

We came on a Sunday night for dinner for the first time. We were so happy with the service and the food! The homemade pasta was lovely and we loved the arancini appetizer. I had the Salsicce spaghetti whole my husband had the chicken Alfredo and added scallops. Both were incredible and full of flavor. I appreciated the Salsicce as something I've never had before and obliterated my plate it was so good. Feta, artichoke, garlic, etc in a light sauce that let the Italian sausage shine. An awesome combo I look forward to trying to replicate at home. Top it off with a chill, unpretentious atmosphere where you can see the chefs cooking from many tables. All in all we ordered two appies, two pastas, a glass of wine, sparkling water, iced tea, a scallop upgrade on one pasta, and garlic toast added per pasta. You bet we took leftovers home and all in all worked out to $60 per person. Well worth it based on all the extras we ordered. 10/10 would venture to Vernon for this again.

Such a shame this little gem of a restaurant will be no more. The chefs put out a couple of specials, absolutely delicious and portions huge. The warm bread was such a treat, as it came promptly twice to our table of four. Definitely busy place as our server had her work cut out for her. A little too quiet spoken for us to hear', then again we are older. Good luck to the chefs, they are the true Gem of this beautiful restaurant.

Great treat night out with friends visiting from out of town. The service was excellent friendly and efficient. Lots of great menu items and nightly specials. We fortunately got a nice quiet table up at the front near the kitchen. Requested with our reservation. We do find the tables at the back of the restaurant a little dark. Free parking after 6 PM. Pasta is made in house and is super fresh ....you must try!! Love the red, rose and white sangria! Special thank you to the chefs, servers and staff at Italian kitchen in Vernon 🎉

First time and a 10 out of 10 experience. The warm bread, muscles, arancini, ravioli and a lovely BC wine were all 5 stars. Fantastic ambiance. We’ll definitely be back!

After reading reviews I was very skeptical of this restaurant, however it has certainly turned a new leaf. Delicious food which is thoughtfully prepared and plated, friendly service, and a cozy & welcoming dining room. Service was maybe a tad slow, but she was so lovely it makes up for it. I believe they are under new ownership, and I hope they are successful as this was a wonderful dining experience.

Mediocre across the board, I went in for a cocktail and mussels. The mussels were not terrible, but also not "oh my god, I need to eat these more". The server was good, however, inexperienced in mixing cocktails. I ordered an old fashioned and let's just say it wasn't an old fashioned. That being said, the server was attentive and prompt, gracious with my dissatisfaction in the drink, and promptly brought me something else I chose. I would not go back there specifically for mussels and a cocktail, but we'll try there again for perhaps something they're more suited in providing.

Excellent homemade pasta! We had 3 pasta dishes and all we're delicious. The gluten free penne was cooked perfectly. We had the house salad which was also very good. The ambiance is nice with the old brick walls and wood timbers. Service was prompt and friendly. Overall would highly recommend.

Best local nachos, they’re LOADED and come WITH guacamole!! We ordered extra cheese because we ❤️ cheese! Drinks were tasty & I fell in love with the prickly pear margarita (it’s a special so get there & have one soon!!)

The manager has insisted that I provide two pieces of ID to be served alcohol, refusing to accept my passport alone—despite it being a valid form of identification. As a tourist visiting with my parents, I fully respect and comply with local laws. However, I noticed that other customers around me, including those at my table, were not subjected to the same strict ID check. This inconsistent enforcement of ID verification feels unfair and discriminatory. If this is indeed a policy, I believe it should be applied equally to all customers. Being singled out in this manner has left me feeling uncomfortable and offended. I would appreciate clarification on your ID policy and hope that moving forward, all guests are treated with fairness and respect. I trust that you will address this matter appropriately. However, the service team was always kind and amazing!

I’m not a frequent guest at this restaurant. It’s quite cozy, although often crowded, with friendly staff. The portions are large, but I didn’t find anything particularly special about the dishes. Prices are on the higher side—over $20 for a burger.

We had the absolute pleasure of dining at Brown’s Social House in Vernon, and the experience was made truly special thanks to Chef Simran. The food was not only beautifully presented but also bursting with flavor in every bite. You can really feel the care and passion that goes into each dish—it’s comfort food elevated with such creativity and love. Chef Simran’s cooking strikes that perfect balance of hearty and refined, leaving us both satisfied and excited to try more. It’s rare to find meals that feel this fresh, flavorful, and made with genuine heart. Thank you, Chef Simran, for making our visit so memorable—we’ll definitely be coming back for more! Yogi

This is one of the best spots in town and our personal favorite! Not only is the food always great but the service is outstanding, right from the management down. The menu is diverse and has something for everyone. On the rare occasion that we have had an issue with our meal, it has been rectified right away.
K D — Google review
I ordered takeout and almost half the order was missed. They did a great job of trying to reconcile the issue. Got a free dessert, unfortunately I am not a dessert person, but my wife is so it works. And they tried to give me back my tip, but I'm not one to take that back. TBH, Would be less stars if I didn't enjoy the food and staff so much. In my opinion, this establishment has: Great service. Great people. Great food. Great management. Just 2x check your bag for takeout. People make mistakes. And thankyou to browns for making such great food. Sorry for our mishap. I will be returning.

Whether you're looking to enjoy a casual meal or celebrate a special occasion, Earls offers an inviting atmosphere complemented by attentive service and vibrant energy.
I recently visited Earl's Vernon and had a fantastic experience during their happy hour. The ambiance was delightful, and the staff ( Matias) was incredibly friendly and attentive. The happy hour offerings were not only delicious but also reasonably priced, making it a great value for the quality of food and drinks. I appreciate the welcoming atmosphere and look forward to returning for more enjoyable moments at Earl's Vernon.

I absolutely adore Earl‘s Cajun blackened chicken with the hot potato salad(with horseradish) I don’t remember the last time I had anything but this dish! This time it fell a little bit short for me… My hot potato salad was not as I remember it, in fact, I don’t think I tasted the horseradish. The service was excellent as always, and the atmosphere is always warm and fun at Earls… And the reason I always have the Cajun black and chicken is it is always phenomenal! It is juicy and flavourful and truly worth a try if you’ve never had it!

Came here for dinner , our server was very friendly and quick. She said sorry for the wait multiple times but honestly didn’t feel like it took long at all for the food to come out. We had a white sangria and a guava margarita , these were alright but not the best in my opinion. Seemed sweet but not very flavourful. We had the Nashville chicken burger and chili chicken + wontons. The chili chicken wontons were great , just the right about of sauce and wontons were crisp. The chicken burger was quite big , very filling. It was tasty and not spicy - asked for the pickles on the side. There was no wait on a Friday evening.

Outstanding service and food was excellent. McDonald’s fries are a favorite and these guys are very close to the same. I had the deluxe burger and it was delicious. For an appt, I had spinach and 3 cheese dip (which is a new favorite for me) - Chef’s Kiss

I'm here to lay down the law and admit my own personal failure. I'm giving Earls five stars, and if you're like me and have lived here forever but never stepped foot inside, listen up. I've been a resident of this town my entire life, and for some reason I have just never been inside this place. I don't know what kind of mental block I had, but it's clear now that I've been actively avoiding something great. I thought it was just some generic chain restaurant, but I was so, so wrong. Turns out, this place is actually very classy. The vibe is on point. And the food? Oh man, It's absolutely delicious. I'm talking top-tier stuff. My entire life has been a lie, and Earls has called me out on it. I just don't know what my problem's been. What was I doing with my time? Eating garbage, apparently. So if you're still on the outside looking in, stop being a coward. Get in there and get some good food. Don't be like me. Don't be a fool.

Very mediocre. I ordered the deluxe burger which is $26 dollars and it was just your average burger. It was actually smaller than I thought. The service was polite and prompt. The dining room could use a bit of an upgrade.

Last night, my husband and I went to Earls for the first time in years and we had a great experience. They had done some renovations since the last time we were there, so the restaurant looked more modern and comfortable than it was before. Our service was top-notch as well. Brooklynn W was attentive, kind, and the perfect kind of sever for Earls. Not only was the service excellent, but the food was amazing also! My husband had a steak dinner and I had the Cajun blackened chicken. My husband asked for his steak rare, and the chefs at Earls cooked the steak better than many steakhouses have for us in the past. The potato salad that came with my dinner was so good too!! Overall, Earls has certainly impressed us and we will definitely be coming back in the future. Hopefully we will be lucky enough to have Brooklynn as a server again

So I have no clue what people are complaining about portion sizes. Even as an american, their serving sizes are great. The rolls are god tier delicious, I just wish more than 4 came in an order. Ive been a couple times and the servers are always great. They are there, but they do not hover or appear out of nowhere after shoveling in a mouthful of food asking how it is. This place is great. If youre complaing about having to wait for a little bit to get your order, or a RESTAURANT BEING LOUD....just stay home?
Tyler B — Google review
Great greeting upon arrival was seated quickly. Waited 30 minutes to get served. Drinks and appetizers came quickly and were tasty. Remainder of order took about an hour and anything that was supposed to be hot was cold. Waitress was horrible kept saying it was her Friday and she's slow tonight, we all have Fridays and still do our jobs. She forgot water, was asked a few times for bill. She also said she won't sing happy birthday. We were celebrating a 9 year old birthday. We stayed because of the birthday but will never eat at Kelly's Os in Vernon again.

Wow. My wife took me here for my birthday 5 months ago. We enjoyed it so much we decided to come back for our anniversary dinner. The first time was no fluke! The Food: We had an appie called "McCracken Rolls"...Holy cow, no false advertisement there! Then, we both had the balckened ribeye with yorkshire pudding, vegetables and a champ potato. Best meal I've had in this province in 25 years, by a country mile. The Atmosphere: laid-back pub/restaurant without the noise typically associated. Just great. The Service: Our server's name was Bryanna, and she was spot-ON. Super-pleasant, engaging, and just attentive enough to make sure whenever we needed somrthing, she was there to help, without feeling like she was hovering. So glad we went; can't wait to go again for some more McCracken Rolls, lol.

We went here for a light supper to celebrate my grandson’s birthday and my wife and I did not enjoy our time. I am being very generous by my Google rating, since the table service was good. Our server was very attentive. The atmosphere was horrible. The noise level of people talking was bad enough. What made it worse was the loud music piped above it all. Having hearing aids only made it worse for. I just had to sit there and hope we could just leave. In no way was I able to converse with members of my family. (Stop playing obnoxious songs like Katy Perry’s Fireworks - sheer torture!!!!) The food was nothing to write home about. My wife and I ordered the Stuffed Pachos and it was tasteless. Not worth the money we paid. Do not come here for a quality restaurant experience. This place is for the partying crowd. Do not recommend. We will NOT be back!!!

Loce that this place is still going strong. Brings back so many memories and the food is still amazing and exactly how I remember. Love that the patio is dog friendly and I got to keep my pooches with me. Happy hour is a great deal (ate and drank more than I intended LoL)

I should've listened to the locals. This place is truly awful, and I've been to some awful places. Let the bad reviews be a warning, and feel free to leave one after not taking this advice. I only wish I would've seen these reviews. Laughably small portions, barely fit for a kid. Poor service - no coffee refills, no syrup, didn't check in on us once, only to come around to get paid. We usually leave a tip, even for a lackluster experience, but this took the cake. If I were corporate, I'd fire every single person working there. Maybe it's poor leadership, but everyone working there seemed like they'd rather be somewhere else. When multiple people complain and don't tip, take the hint...this isn't your calling. Don't bother replying, as you clearly don't care about the Ricky's band.
Darrell G — Google review
I was really excited to try the food here, but what a let down. I will start off by saying the place was dead, and only 2 other tables, one that was on dessert, so not like it was during a rush etc. I had Chicken Parmigiana ($24) . The portion was tiny (I would almost say kid sized), just a sad piece of chicken, missing the baked mozza it was supposed to have on a bed of overcooked noodles and bad sauce (very much chef boyardee texture). We ordered alfredo noodles for one of the kids, and as you can see in the photos, it is just a scoop of noodles and a bowl of sauce. No sides, no anything for $11. For the other we ordered Chicken fingers. it was 2 and some fries, but they seemed good. We ordered a side Caesar as the kids love it. And it was a tiny bowl of just romaine and a couple croutons (no bacon bits and no parm) and that was $9. I forgot to get a photo of it, so tried adding the blurry piece from the top of another photo. I mentioned the missing baked mozza to who I thought was the manager, and he just agreed it should be in the oven baked and then told me the chef likely forgot. Then stood there staring and just said sorry and walked away. I brought it up at again at bill time, as I am charged extra for cheese or anything else, the least they could do is remove a cheese charge from the bill. They actually discounted my dish by 50%. So I appreciate that gesture, but I shouldn't have to ask. There are very few places I feel people need to hear about how bad it was...but this was one. Between the portions, and the quality, I don't think we would ever go back.

Eatery #162 in Vernon: Ricky's. Over ten years ago, I stepped into Ricky's for an aunt's birthday dinner. I had the absolute worst burger and French fries of my entire life. The Fries tasted like they were McCain Superfries that were thrown into a microwave. I never came back to Ricky's for over a decade. . .until yesterday. Ricky's is under new ownership. A couple months ago I tried Famoso's Pizza rather than the Ricky's menu. However, I braved it and Ricky's now had the chance for ultimate redemption. And. . .they are redeemed! Yes, the only other customers left 10 minutes after my arrival, but the service was really really good and the French Fries tasted a thousand times better. The waiter/owner actually pointed out the prices of the possible add ons for the burger. He was very friendly. I paid $25.44 for the classic burger and fries with unlimited soda refills after tax and an 18 percent tip. Bathroom was very clean too and the sink had hot water. They have three personal gender neutral bathrooms like you'd find at most spots in Kelowna. Ricky's has had the absolute worst reputation in Vernon for years, but under new ownership I think this place can actually hold its own now. Feel free to give this place a try. Things are different now.
Logan S — Google review
I have always enjoyed visiting a Ricky’s for its menu and predictable features, atmosphere, and service. I was somewhat stunned when entering this site. They had boxes and clutter (boxes stacked) in a number of booths and cleaning items left lying in their serving/condiment station. It was just generally poorly keep and dirty. The host was pleasant but service was very slow despite the restaurant being nearly empty. It was hard to ignore the waiters attire; not std Ricky wear and a very dirty appearance. Additionally there were a number what appeared to be non- staffers entering the kitchen area… With this experience and others similar reviews I will avoid returning.

The food was absolutely amazing. I’m going back for supper tonight.

Didn’t have the ingredients to make an old fashioned cocktail despite what appeared to be a full bar/lounge. Got a Caesar instead and it was awful. I mean just awful. Far and away the worst Caesar I have ever had it tasted like it had cigarette butts in it. Didn’t even drink half of it left it on the table. Place was basically empty on a Friday night which should have been a sign to avoid. Waitress was very nice.

I decided to try Dorians Greek Taverna in the winter. As an appetizer, I ordered the Mussels, but unfortunately, they were not enjoyable as they were small and shrivelled with a crunchy texture. However, the sauce they came with was good. For my entrees, I had the Chicken Souvlaki and my partner enjoyed the Dolmathes Dinner. The souvlaki had great flavor and was moist and tender.
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Five stars all the way! The food is fantastic (big portions), the servers are both professional and fun, and the new location is absolutely stunning. We had the gorgeous tree table by the bar. We're so lucky to have this great family-owned restaurant here in Vernon. It’s an absolute must-visit! Highly recommended!

Dorian was great and not very good at the same time. I highly recommend the lamb. Didn't enjoy chicken. The pastas were average to low, so I would not recommend those. Service was good. The best part was the atmosphere. It's a Great looking restaurant. The new location helps that a lot. For me the price was too high for what was offered. For me the food was not good enough to justify the higher price. If you want to pay $30 for basic pasta, other restaurants in town can offer significantly better food. So stay to the lamb to get best food for price.

Love the new space. The food was decent. The Spanokopita is very thick with spinach~I prefer more feta in mine. The moussaka is made with zucchini instead of eggplant. Just some different takes but still good. Very large portions! Definitely should have shared.

Fantastic place on the north side of Vernon. Our server Vanessa was personable and accommodating. Food was excellent!!! Some of the best calamari, souvlaki, and spanikopita in the Valley. We shared the Spanikopita Dinner and the Greek Combo, both came with a chunky Greek salad with delicious dressing, rice and potatoes. The spanikopita was packed with spinach, the calamari light and crispy, the chicken souvlaki moist and flavourful, and the lamb chops grilled to perfection. We splurge on calories for special occasion dessert. The loukoumades were fluffy and delectable and tge sprinkled cinnamon and almonds over the ice cream was next level, the baklava was warm, fresh and such an indulgence. HIGHLY recommended and would be happy to go back anytime we were in Vernon.

We had a family dinner here. I ordered the Garlic Prawn Dinner. It was immaculate. Everything was perfect. 10/10 I couldn’t shut up about how good everything was! Went home with a box of leftovers and I can’t stop thinking about second dinner. I took home a bottle of their Greek dressing. I live in the Lower Mainland - I told my family we must come every time I visit home! Obsessed.

For those seeking a quieter dining experience, the lounge area provides a more relaxed atmosphere away from families. Whether you're visiting with friends or family, WINGS ensures prompt service even for larger groups; diners have praised the efficiency of their staff in delivering hot meals quickly and accurately.
Excellent place for beer and tacos! Went to wings to have a Friday afternoon beer. Atmosphere was some with some great music, servers were excellent and very attentive. We were feeling cultural, so we ordered the perogies and fish tacos to share. The fish tacos were amazing! Fish was nice and crispy and has just enough spice for a bit of heat. So good. Loved the decor and bathrooms were nice and clean. Highly recommend Wings if you're in the area.

One of my chicken wings was raw in the middle. I pointed it out to the server who talked with the kitchen. The reply was that chicken were pre-cooked so it's just looks funny. I didn't want to dispute. Just be very careful! It was not "funky" color, it was most definitely raw in the middle! I have taken photos as record in case I get sick.

Nice restaurant, and was a short walk from our hotel and the casino. It was very quiet for a Friday, so the atmosphere felt like a Monday. Service was good, had a zero beer that was very good, and the wing flavors we chose were good, however the wings themselves seemed like they were old. The bones broke apart easily and were black inside. Not sure what this means, but isn't something I see often when eating wings.

We loved our food from here, they have a wide variety of chicken wings. There is a special menu for kids who are under 10 years old. The ambience is lit, the staff are great. It was totally worth the money.

We came in as a group of 11 with no reservations, we were immediately seated at a large table together. Victoria our server took our drink orders and they came out right away. Then she took all our food order and for such a large group our food came out way faster than we expected and everything we ordered was piping hot and correct so kudos to the kitchen and bar staff as well. Victoria took great care of us and never left anyone waiting for anything. Top notch service all around!

This place is excellent! Great service, comfortable booths, the food was excellent and affordable too. The shepherd's pie was so good! I highly recommend Wings and ill be back.

Everything started off good, until the food came. After my child took her first bite out of her hamburger, I thought I could see raw meat - I took out my phone, as the restaurant is so dim you can't see if your food is fully cooked. We opened up her hamburger, and her hamburger was raw - to the point the inside was cold. We had to call the waitress over - as she hadn't came to check in on how the food was, and she said she'd go get a new one made. By the time the hamburger finally made it out to us, my daughter had snacked on everyone else's food enough to be full, so the hamburger was useless. Paying over $10 for a kids meal, for it to not even be cooked properly for them to eat - to not even being offered a discount , first for the raw food they decided to try and pass by as edible to eat, to the long wait we had waiting for a new one. The chicken wings - aren't anything special. Very dry. We were expecting amazing wings and we're excited, however felt the cold pizza that we had at the hotel from the night before was good enough to eat, instead of ordering even more wings to fill us up. After our experience, we don't feel that we will be returning. Tried once, and definitely left less than impressed.
* — Google review
Decided last minute to stop in for some wings for dinner. Came before dinner rush and was seated in a fairly comfortable booth. Lighting was horrible and had to use phone flashlight and candle (battery operated) from the table to even read the menu. Waitress was quick with drinks and to take our order but that’s where the speediness ended. Waiting almost 40 minutes for food. Ribs my husband got were dry, no utensils for the coleslaw, wings were ok but not as good as expected. Waitress seemed to disappear and had to wait for a long time for take out box and bill. When spending that kind of money for food we expect a bit better quality of food and better service. Probably will not go back.

Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews is a delightful destination for those craving gourmet burgers and classic American comfort food. This popular chain stands out for its commitment to accommodating dietary needs, particularly gluten-free options, ensuring that guests with celiac can dine worry-free. While weekend evenings can get quite busy, the attentive staff works hard to provide excellent service, even if the kitchen occasionally experiences delays.
We love reds to begin with , however this reds blows them all out of the water! Vinay and Hailey made us feel at home. Food was so fast we barely had time to go on our phones. Taste was phenomenal and before we knew it our tummies were full. Would recommend to anyone passing by.

Worst experience in a Red Robin my family and I have ever had, hands down. I'm not sure what the deal was tonight (it wasn't busy) but the server and manager were NOT there in any way that was helpful. An hour and a half of waiting for any type of service, being made to feel like we were a pain in the ass for ever even asking for anything or sitting down to eat. I've never felt more unwelcome in an eating establishment in my life. We sat down at about 5:20pm and were not even offered drinks and menus until 5:45pm, and of course they were "out" of the drinks we asked for initially. After we received our drinks we weren't checked on or asked if we were ready until closer too 6:30pm. Once we received our meals at roughly 6:45pm we were almost entirely ignored after that. We were only asked about drink refills once, which we ordered, but the drinks didn't arrive for over 20 minutes, causing me to cancel mine after 10 minutes which the server didn't take well, asking me who I ordered the drink from after telling me it was being poured. My son finished eating his meal pretty quickly, but the server was nowhere to be found to ask about refills on the bottomless portions of the meal either. My son was only able to get a single refill on his Mac & Cheese during the 1.5 hours we were in the restaurant, ordered from a staff member who wasn't our server, my partner and I got nothing. The worst part is that several times during the service I looked around for the server, but apparently standing behind the serving line talking to co-workers is more important that serving the table you have going. She also took some time out to go around singing Happy Birthday to a couple of random tables (I hope the tipped well). She walked by us about a dozen times, never making eye contact or asking if we needed anything. Also, shame on the Manager, my family and I eat here at least once a month and during every other time we've been there the Manager has stopped by to ask about service after we received our food, the guy was nowhere to be scene tonight. The only thing that came quickly tonight was the bill, the server was MORE than happy to get that for us quickly. I definitely saw him walking around tonight too, not that he was doing anything. Overall I paid $73 for the worst service I've ever had, including a free kids meal coupon I brought. At least the food was decent. We're seriously considering never eating here again. Usually the service is really amazing, almost too much, tonight it was nowhere to be found. The cherry on all of this is that it was the 3 year Anniversary of my partner and I, we were planning to go out and enjoy tonight, that didn't happen at Red Robin. I'm pretty angry at the entire situation, I don't usually leave reviews this negative but wow was this place ever garbage tonight. Seriously considering never returning.

On Sunday, I ordered a Blackyard BBQ Pork burger at the restaurant, and I liked it so much that today, Tuesday, I decided to get it again, this time for pick-up. However, they got my order wrong. Since I live literally a block away, I went back to the restaurant to have it replaced. To my surprise, instead of making the correct burger from scratch, they partially removed the ingredients from the wrong one and added just a tiny bit of what I had actually ordered (as shown in the photo), without including everything. For example, the pickle, bacon, and onions weren’t even there. The service from the waitstaff has always been very pleasant, but today’s experience was quite disappointing. Unfortunately, I won’t be coming back. I’m attaching a photo of what I was given and one of what I actually ordered.

We had a pretty terrible experience here tonight, and almost every one around us was experiencing the horrible service as well. There weren't more than 10 tables in the entire place all evening, refills weren't being offered, no quality checks, dishes were piling up and not being pregnant bussed. The server would go to one table to bring them something and not even check on the other tables surrounding her or grab any dirty dishes. I've been in this industry for 12 years as well as I used to work at this very location, and I really hate to complain, but we were on one final family night out before our second baby is born and the whole experience was ruined. The food was okay but the burger i ordered was missing toppings, which took like 20 minutes at least to get them brought out because no one was quality checking us. They forgot the red pepper jelly with our appy and it took 20 minutes to get that brought out as well.... for a dip. By the time the things were brought to us that we needed our meal was cold. Was told the manager would be by, but he never came by as he was busy making drinks at the bar, yet people around us and the table beside us weren't even getting their drinks so I have no clue what he was actually doing. It was a huge waste. Our family of three had a $140 bill, any table at any cost should receive great service but when a bill is that high and your PPA is that large on one table you really should be giving mor attention to the table. I dont know if the server was new, which i understand but she had a complete lack of knowledge of how to serve effectively since there wete only about 3-4 tables she was taking care of and every single one of them experienced issues. We heard the man behind us cancel his drink cause of how long it was taking. Tbe guy across from us had to have his burger remade. I just do not understand how she was no where to be found for the entire 1.5hrs we spent there when there was almost nobody in the restaurant. She wasn't even the one who brought half of the food out. We had to ask the expo who was running our food for napkins and cutlery and refills. She was the one who ended up bringing the dip we asked for twice from the server before receiving. It was all around a terrible experience. The food was okay nothing special but better service would have made it a wonderful final night our for us and we left extremely disappointed.

Came for lunch on the weekend. Overall it was quite good. There were some minor mistakes on beverages ( served ice tea for one of ours instead of a coke, i there’s at the table ordered iced tea). Salads were good: food was fresh. Portions seem a little smaller than they used to be overall. Still a good choice for families or adults. Good atmosphere. Easy to get to. Pleasant staff.

Food used to be crave worthy, but it has gone way down hill. The chicken used to have grill marks and flavor now not so much. My burger had barely any flavor. The staff were very attentive and helpful.

White Spot Vernon is a beloved family dining destination that truly knows how to make mealtime memorable, especially for kids. Their signature Pirate Paks are a delightful treat, served in charming pirate ship containers and accompanied by chocolate coins and fun activity sheets to keep young diners engaged. This classic experience adds an extra layer of excitement to dining out with the family. Whether you're enjoying takeout or dining in, White Spot ensures your meal arrives just as you hoped—fresh and delicious!
White Spot was my 119th restaurant in Vernon on my quest to eat at every restaurant in town. I was here for Appy Hour where certain items are between $7 and $10. However, I saw a caramel milkshake and an avocado Impossible Burger on the menu. White Spot is one of the few places left in Vernon that does unlimited French Fry refills with a meal. The server Alyssa was an excellent server. She would inform me if certain item substitutions were an extra charge, she brought me vinegar without asking, and informed another table that soda refills are $1 per refill. After my lack of upfront info at Kelly O's, this was a pleasant surprise. I really enjoyed my meal. The small critique I have is that head office needs to replace the toilet stall. I had to flush four times before it would work. I can't fault the store for that as it is a head office expense. The restaurant was clean, friendly, and quiet. It had been about 15 years since I stepped into a White Spot. I was pleasantly surprised given I never enjoyed White Spot previously as a kid, and I ordered delivery once in 2020 and was super disappointed with my burger. Overall, my experience exceeded my expectations. C-Lovers, Joey's Seafood and White Spot are the best chains to compete with the local independent restaurants in Vernon. I recommend this restaurant if you're looking for a Western style meal. I paid after tax and 18 percent tip $35.91 for a caramel milkshake, an avocado Impossible Burger with unlimited fries and coleslaw. Reasonable price. It's not the most affordable, but not the most expensive either.

I gave this restaurant 4 stars but the food gets 5 stars. it a clean well kept restaurant, staff were pleasant and inviting. I would say my eggs benny was the best I have ever had and I eat Eggs Benny everywhere. My biggest issue these days for most places is the lack of staff. Our waiting staff were clearly run off their feet and did their best to provide good service but when you have more tables then you can handle some things get missed (had to ask for coffee, did not get offered more smashed potatoes as those were bottomless). For a more upscale restaurant I expect more attention. Again not the wait staffs fault clearly they were short staffed and did a fantastic job given their circumstance.

The legendary burger was really legendarily plain. A bun, a nothing special patty, some sauces, and a side salad, 18 dollars please. The bacon cheddar burger has bacon, cheddar, lattice and tomatoes, with side salad, for 22 dollars. Don't bother with legendary burger. Restaurant was clean and update, service was good. Menu prices were shocking, given the quality of food. Typical big chain restaurants. Better food can be had in other local options.

I ordered take out. I had hoped to have to wait a few minutes when I came exactly on time. I did have to wait. I had ordered milkshakes with our meal and so had hoped they would not prepare them until I arrived. I was not disappointed. The host was a bit awkward but nice enough. The person who helped me carry my larger order out to the car was very pleasant, I bet they are a good server. The food was amazing! And filling. All of us had leftovers from our meals. My one and only complaint was my onion rings were stone cold(they were not with the milkshakes, those were in a cooler.) and so not the best. But that was partly expected given it was take-out.

Our small group of 5 went on on a not so busy sunday morning for breakfast. We ordered our coffees and 2 kids milkshakes. Ordered the food once the drinks arrived. 40 minutes later had still not gotten our food order. The service was horrible. My personal meal came out cold I sent it back and said dont bring me another as I wasn't waiting another 40 mins. Service was terrible. Food was terrible. I will most likely never go back.

Breakfast options are hearty and delicious, though be prepared for those breakfast potatoes to arrive at sizzling temperatures!
Pretty exceptional for it's location! Found it to be quite luxurious for its surroundings! Not disappointed in anyway! Even the music, not my thing, wasn't terrible! Big thumbs up! I imagine dinner would be off the hook!

Spacious well designed restaurant Gordon Ramsey would surely approve. Handicapped accessible . Lovely staff, eager to please. The breakfast choices are all yummy and filling. My only complaint is the wonderful breakfast potatoes arrive too piping hot. We had one dinner. I absolutely loved the pad thai. My partner had the curry mussels. Perhaps a bib should be given out. As good and plump the mussels were rhe yellow curry stained my partners white shirt all over. Still. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Initially when I come in, I had not much expectation for this place. I thought probably “Just another mediocre restaurant at mediocre hotel”. You all know what I mean. Food in most Canadian restaurants are so similar that you can’t even say the difference. Same menu, same taste, just different in price. However, to my pleasant surprise this restaurant offered rather unusual, however pleasantly served and well prepared dishes. And taste was amazing. I don’t want to go as far as wondering why this place has no Michelin star, but it definitely getting close to it, especially if some cri At very least you can definitely recognize from the first bite that this restaurant has actual chef running the kitchen, not some guy who was hired for close to minimal wage and told by owner “just google it”. At least as summer 2025 it does. Same goes to a wine list. Whoever put it together definitely new wines well enough to get best for the cost mid-priced restaurants can afford. Selection is pleasantly surprised. What even more surprising is that waitress knew enough about wines to recommend proper pairing. My compliments. Had awesome time. In Canada, unfortunately restaurant industry became, so tasteless and mediocre that you tend to forget that there is difference between “eating food” and “heaving a meal”. And in Bourbon street bar and grill I most definitely had a good meal.

Delicious!!! I ordered the hot ans sour soup and the Egg foo yung. It was a massive portion and it was all so good. It reminds me of a place I used to go to when I lived in NYC. Plenty of veggie options, but double check the ingredients of the soups if you have dietary restrictions. We will be eating here often !!!

Was going to have breakfast today at Denny's, huge Thanksgiving lineup so we tried Asian Avenue next door. WOW some of the best Chinese cuisine I've ever had (especially from someone who seeks out the best asian food on the Coast). EXCELLENT food, friendly personal service, super clean restaurant. Family owned & owner chef is simply amazing! Salt & pepper prawns were HUGE & the best I've ever had, sizzling seafood platter was fresh & absolutely perfect, spring rolls, chicken fried rice & s&s pork were all 10/10. A real gem in Vernon! Can't wait to heat up my leftovers! Definitely a go-to next time we're in Vernon! 😎👍

I took out dinner. I went to the store to place my order and was told it would take 30 minutes to be ready, but it was actually ready in 20 minutes and the staff was very nice. I was surprised that there was only one spring roll for $4. (Their menu didn't say how many rolls they had, but I thought $4 for a spring roll, which wasn't particularly large, was overpriced.) Fried rice was very tasty. The noodles and ginger beef were little salty.

It’s hard to review service as I ordered take out . The gentleman that served me was pleasant enough, but wasn’t as friendly when he realized I didn’t tip him . (As I picked up the food I thought he should be tipping me , but that’s just my opinion) . We found the food to be expensive, dry and bland, very disappointing. My combo with beef chop suey had 2 thin slices of beef that tasted like fish, chow mien was dry and tasteless ,almond chicken was so dry and tough I couldn’t chew it . We ordered 4 combos and we threw out over half of it , definitely won’t be going back . I understand food costs have increased but , I have to work hard for my money too and don’t like wasting it on below par food .

I did the build your own combo, had sesame chicken, s&s pork, ginger beef and chicken chow mein. I've had Chinese food at some of the best restaurants, like #9 in Richmond and Ocean Palace in Tsawwassen. Asian Avenue hit it out of the park. The meats were all perfectly cooked lean cuts. The sauces were uniquely amazing and the quantity was built for two! Thank you and I hope to return soon!

This is such a great sushi place! Rice/fish is melt in your mouth good, miso soup is flavourful, edamame is warm and almost nutty, tempura was crisp and the dipping sauce was perfectly savoury sweet, red dragon roll was a highlight! Hospitality was excellent - we arrived about an hour before closing and never felt rushed. Instead they were refilling our waters still until minutes before closing time. We came in with a group of 16. They weren’t busy and gladly took us in. The waitress was amazing. However, they must be understaffed as it took 15-20 minutes to get our drinks and 1.5 hours to get our food. My food came and I asked for not pickles on my burger and it came with a a pickle on my bun. The pickle juice sucked through the bun leaving it soggy. I let the waitress know and she returned with a new burger. The bun was better but the patty was super dried out. My son order the mac and cheese and it was just Kraft dinner. Even though his friend had some that was not. Must have run out of that too. I’m disappointed and disgusted they would serve such food.

Extremely disappointing. Ordered two of their feature platters. $45 each. The shrimp and dip were inedible. The platter consisted mainly of tortilla chips. With the size of the lobster that wasn’t even seasoned I’m not sure how they were valued anywhere near that price. We left feeling very disappointed that we spent $100 on this quality and quantity of food. Save yourself the money and go next door and eat at the hotel at Cabanas. Phenomenal food and reasonably priced.

We had a fantastic experience at Mr. Mike’s, on Friday! Our family of 5 was heading up to Blind Bay for our grandmother’s 80th birthday, and decided to have supper in town before the drive up. Our server, Jolene, was absolutely top notch. As a hospitality manager in my professional life, it’s supremely important for me to celebrate customer service excellence. Jolene set the tone with a golden moment as soon as we arrived, by wishing my grandmother a happy birthday and making sure she was settled and excited for the experience. We enjoyed happy hour appies: the lobster dunk, panko shrimp and bruschetta, along with cocktails (and a margarita mocktail for a pregnant me!) and our mains. Jolene took care in addressing my grandmother’s dietary restrictions and made great recommendations for the rest of us. My grandmother loved her steak and my mom was very happy with her Cajun chicken fettuccine. From an operations standpoint, I appreciated how involved the BOH/Management staff were in providing excellent service, along with the various table checks throughout the night. That lets me know that they care about the level of service and make the effort to keep a well-oiled machine. We wanted to catch as much light as we could on our drive, so Jolene graciously organized our desserts to go. The food was what we expected and we were happy for the value, but the service was truly star. I know they’ve opened a Mr. Mike’s in Kelowna, but I might end up fiercely loyal to the Vernon location because of this experience. Thanks again!

I took my kiddo there for a little fun dinner night out. He had the mac and cheese, which also came with some garlic toast. He was absolutely happy with his meal and ate everything on his plate. He had a caramel sunday for dessert and was equally happy with that as well. I had the rib eye beef dip with a caesar salad. Didn't blow my hair back but it was good! I had a bacon caesar for a drink and that was disappointing as it seemed really watered down. Toppings were awesome but that's where the flavour ended. Overall very happy with our experience. Our server Maizie was great and I especially liked that she checked up on my kiddo while I was in the washroom to make sure everything was ok. Keep up the good work, Mr Mikes. We will be back!

It was quiet in the restaurant, so we chatted and exchanged stories with our server Cody and the female bartender. They were so friendly and funny, making us both laugh and cry at the same time, lol! We paid premium price ($260c)per night for a mediocre room. It had a bed, a hide a bed sofa and a single office chair. Before our guests arrived, we asked for more chairs, which arrived just before we left for the afternoon. Our room overlooked the pool area, and below our window were the only 2 tables available after the dining lounge closed. People sitting there and drinking got progressively louder each night, and we had to call the desk to get enough quiet to be able to sleep first 2 nights. We will probably ask for a refund and go elsewhere for our third night.

What a disappointment!! The Sunday brunch started without mimosas, the bar doesn't open till eleven. We waited & drank coffee with grounds. At 11 we were told the bar has no orange juice. There was no menu, only the buffet. No eggs bene- no eggs at all. Only 6 old tepid pancakes, a scoop of spuds. There was bacon but the lid was locked down on it. When the eggs & bene arrived, the muffins were cold, untrusted & already slimy. The scrambled eggs were grey glops swimming in what looked like urine. Mom thought it was oatmeal. Needless to say, we left in search of something edible.

We arrived at 5:30 , with a reservation for 6 people, the hostess had us down as a table for two. It was Valentines Day (but we were celebrating my cousin's birthday.) We were handed a menu with 3 choices of appetizers, 3 choices for main courses and 3 choices for dessert (none were vegetarian) all for $40 per person. We had 2 children with us and they had to order of that menu as well. The restaurant was not very busy, but for some reason it took an hour and fifteen minutes for us too receive our food. When we finally got it, it was cold and bland. The first course was a piece of water melon the size of a sugar cube with balsamic vinaigrette on it. I am so beyond disappointed specially because i wanted to have there "famous" prime rib. SO UNIMPRESSED. Further more the hotel was hosting a hockey tournament so there we bratty kids running around screaming everywhere!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i wish i could rate it no stars. NEVER AGAIN!

Stumbled upon this place completely by accident on the way to pentiction. My BF said it is was one of the best Sheppard's pie he has ever had at a restaurant. My Steak sandwich came out perfect and tasted great! Service and food was fast and friendly. Will be back whenever in Vernon:)

Really sad that I've had to change my review of this place. I want it to do well, but the food has been hit and miss. I've eaten here occasionally over the past three years, and the quality of the food really fluctuates. Sometimes it's really good, other times it is not. What really bothers me though is that, with the exception of our first visit, every time we come to eat here, the staff act as though unprepared to serve us, a party of two to six, well within normal hours. Every time, the host/hostess/wait staff will greet us, then crane their neck with furrowed brow, looking around the mostly-deserted restaurant as though straining to find a place for us to sit. Once seated, the service has always been polite, though we have more often had an inexperienced server who made quite a few mistakes than we have had seasoned servers. I know, everyone has to learn, nothing wrong with that, it's just weird that we keep getting served by people who don't know the basics (though always very polite and eager). The food is no longer worth the price. I would have gladly paid it when they had their old head chef who was WONDERFUL, but now, well I've probably given them their last chance unless I hear from somebody that things have changed. The new facelift on the outside of the building is quite nice. I hope they get their food quality and staff training sorted out, because I really want this place to succeed.

Not impressed AT ALL!! Right from the get go trying to make a reservation by phone to the food for the Christmas Buffet at $35 a head with an automatic 15% gratuity ( which I don't mind paying if deserved). Daughter called a few weeks ago to make a reservation and was told to call back cause they were busy (who does that???) I called the next day and was told the same thing!! Called an hour later and was told they were busy and that they would call me back. They didnt. Called the next day and the person finally took our reservation but lo and behold when we showed up on the night of there was no record of our reservation ( I had a feeling) Three days to try to make a reservation!! They then tried to shove us at a table away from the buffet area so I asked to speak to the manager but one didnt show up. We finally got a table in the buffet seating area!!! Last time!!!! Our server was fantastic. Agree with the person who commented on the food especially the desserts. Store bought and terrible selection. Turkey, ham and stuffing was delicious everything else mediocre (lots of salads????).

Came here for breakfast while we stayed in the hotel. Super nice set up for this mini restaurant in the middle of the hotel atrium. Restaurant is surrounded by jungle/forest of trees lit with lights. On one side the hotel pool is right there. There is a real flowing river cutting through the hotel building which is amazing. Breakfast was super good and decent priced. Our waitress was really good. Will have to try dinner there next.

Sushi restaurant
Sushi Kawa is a cherished gem nestled in Vernon, British Columbia, where the essence of authentic Japanese cuisine comes alive. This cozy eatery has captured the hearts of locals and visitors alike with its extensive menu that boasts fresh sashimi, delectable rolls, and a variety of traditional dishes. Diners appreciate the warm hospitality from the staff and consistently high-quality offerings that make it an essential stop for sushi enthusiasts.
We unfortunately drove past this fabulous sushi restaurant far too many times and we regret all of the amazing sushi that we missed in our short time in Vernon. My wife and I are sushi connoisseurs and we have had sushi from Vancouver to Edmonton to Toronto and this is easily my second favourite spot of all of them. I also make my own sushi, so I really appreciate quality sushi. Sushi Kawa quickly became our date night place every Friday and we always ordered extra for leftovers the next night. We even stopped going to our other favourite spots, as nothing compared to Sushi Kawa after we tried it! Sushi Kawa has creative, delicious rolls, wonderful, friendly staff and too many favourite rolls that it caused us to have to pick and choose every week what we wanted. Now that we have moved away, it is the one place that we really miss and we might never find another place like it again. Don’t drive by it, give it a change and you will be hooked! This level of sushi in little, old Vernon must be appreciated and supported! Check them out!

Was quite busy but service was still quick and food came out fast. Caterpillar roll was my favourite thing that we tried, also had deep fried dynamite , tempura udon , chicken teriyaki.

This place is awesome! The food is amazing and always looks so pretty. Service is great, every time I go the servers have been helpful and very friendly by recommending rolls or making sure I have everything I need. Definitely recommend!

A cute spot with delicious sushi, featuring an interesting interior element—a tree in the middle of the hall. The menu is extensive, though the decor could use some updates. The place is often crowded, and there seems to be a high demand for takeout orders as well.

It was really busy, but we got a table right away. The prices are very reasonable and the food is good. We got a veggie roll and a mango paradise roll with soy paper, chicken teriyaki, rice, tea, veggie tempura all for $48 + tip.

I love everything about this restaurant. This is one of my favourite restaurants here in Vernon but unfortunately I’m very disappointed with my food that I ordered tonight. I ordered the Beauty & the beast roll but instead they gave me a wrong sushi roll. There’s a crab meat inside instead of bulgogi. I have a severe allergic reaction to crab meat 😩

The sushi was amazing and the udon noodles were cooked perfectly, best sushi I’ve ever had and definitely lives up to the name of best sushi in town! The servers were really nice and seated us immediately, the vibe was really chill and calm! U should definitely eat here when u visit Vernon.
