Such a welcoming pub. We’re staying two nights in salmon arm. Visited this pub on our first night and enjoyed so much e went back again. Service is top notch. Food comes out so quickly and waitresses both nights were constantly checking up on us to make sure we were all good. Waitresses were also amazingly helpful with changing around things I did and didn’t like in the food. Including swapping out a beef patty for chicken. Couldn’t recommend enough!

I visited Barley Station Brewpub last night and had an amazing experience! We ordered the bison burger and the seafood linguine — both dishes were absolutely delicious and full of flavour. The bison burger was juicy and perfectly cooked, and the seafood linguine was fresh and satisfying. The atmosphere was warm, and the staff were friendly. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for great food and a relaxed pub vibe!
Definitely one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to! We ordered nachos, beef barley soup, and the Barley Station beef burger, along with a cocktail and a craft IPA beer. Everything was so delicious, outstanding, and beyond words! You just have to try it yourself! I absolutely loved it and highly recommend it.

Went for the first time a few weeks ago, and had to go back again! Food was delicious and hot, and some of the best onion rings I have ever had! Tried some of their beers the first time and found the Talking Dog Wit to be my favourite.
Great welcome, fast and very friendly service. Loved that it’s their own beer brewed on site. The lamb burger was amazing and again locally made. Great experience
Dog friendly patio and the servers were extremely attentive to our dog as well as us. Drinks and food were great, tried the spicy dill pickle margarita which was a suprisingly good experience. 👍

Came in from Kamloops and my doctor’s office’s receptionist highly recommended this bakery 😊 . We stopped and got a frozen blueberry/peach pie to bake at home.

Well OMG….we know good pie lol but this was outstanding!! Not too sweet, not all gloopy with cornstarch, and the flakiest pastry we’ve ever had. Yummy fruit! Even better than my grandmas!
We will be coming into Salmon Arm frequently for medical reasons and plan on making this a treat stop each time to try lunch and pick up some more pie! 🥧

Over the years my wife and I have enjoyed our time eating a variety of savoury and fruit pies. What sets Shuswap Pie Company apart is the dough they use. It is the best due to its flakiness and consistency.
When in Salmon Arm, this is the place for breakfast and lunch. During our latest visit with our friends, we had Chicken Pot Pie, Steak and Stout and the Beef Taco savoury pies. And we just loved eating the peach, blueberry and strawberry rhubarb pies. I highly recommend this restaurant as a place to visit.
If you love a variety of pies this is the place. We have never been here before but if we lived around here I think we would be spending a lot of time eating here. I had the bumbleberry pie with ice cream and it was absolutely delicious. My husband ordered the swirl cheesecake. Unfortunately he wanted the sausage roll but none were to had. We also had cappuccino with were also made just right. The staff were very efficient and friendly. We ate on the little patio.
Recommended by a friend (a tour bus operator) during a motorcycle trip through Salmon Arm, this place is amazing! The locals are so friendly and complimented us on fitting 5 motorcycles into one car spot on the street.
The pies have definitely earned their reputation and sandwiches are very tasty. At the self-serve water station, you pour water from jugs into cute little mason jars. Service was efficient and friendly, will definitely return when in Salmon Arm again.
Bought frozen pies and baked them at home. We all loved them. Flaky crust filled with juicy fruits. Especially the peach pie was to die for! Very reasonably priced, too. Wish we could buy them in Vancouver area!
We drive between BC & AB quite a bit, but always seem to pass by Shushwap Pie when it’s closed! Finally were able to pop in and OH BOY, what a treat. Grabbed a selection of slices, already baked, and frozen pies. Lemme tell you, all were a big hit! The crust is light and flakey, the fillings all divine. We also got a couple muffins and lemon bars which were delicious as well.
Will definitely try to time our drives better now so we can stop here each time!
Superb pies! We had a mixture of sandwiches, fruit pies and drinks and all were wonderful. We brought a pie to bring home too as we just couldn’t get enough. We don’t have pies like this in the UK, and mores the pity! Lovely service too.
Best pies in town - we love to grab a slice fresh or take a frozen pie and keep in the freezer as we don't live in town. Fruit and meat pies are very good.
We also ordered fruit pies for our wedding reception in 2018, I think 20 pies for 120 people and it was a huge hit!

Great dining experience tonight. I phoned and left a voice message to book a table at 5 but we arrived one hour late. Though staff did not find my reservation, they apologized and managed to get us a table right away. Food was delicious. Salmon and lamb both are tender and well cooked. Price is reasonable. Live music is great. Overall very pleasant experience at this place. Highly recommended!

The Spaghetti Calabrese was nice and I would recommend doing the bake with cheese option. The flavours in the spare ribs special were really enjoyable. The Mixed Greens salad was okay but not my favourite. Overall friendly service with a bit of a wait on the food but appreciated the free bread to keep the table occupied.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at AnDiamo. The food was super fresh, extreemly flavorful and beautifully presented. Every bite was delicious, and the menu had something for everyone. The service was just as impressive friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. You can really feel the care and passion that goes into every detail. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for an amazing restaurant you won’t be disappointed.

The ambiance is both elegant and cozy, making it perfect for a romantic night out, a family dinner, or a special celebration. I can’t recommend AnDiamo enough it’s a true dining experience you’ll want to return to again and again!
Overall really good dinner. They offer free bread with oil which was nice but wish they offered to give more when the dinner came out. Would have been nice to have some bread with the meal. We had the penne Della Nonna which is chicken and broccoli in Alfredo sauce. This dish was just ok. The Alfredo sauce was a bit flat and I found didn't have much flavour. The second dish was the spaghetti meatballs. Added an extra meatball for $3 which was a good thing because they were delicious. The meat sauce was also really good. It was a bit oily but the flavour was delicious so didn't personally mind. Both dishes pasta were overcooked and service a bit slow but they were really busy so not faulting them for that.
It's an amazing place.
Dishes were perfect especially grilled vegetables and Tiramisu.
Im strongly recommend this Italian restaurant.
And local Pinot Grigio is also so sweet not dry. It is good matching with the grilled zucchini and bell peper.

Located in downtown Salmon Arm, Pink Cherry is a bustling cafe known for serving the creamiest gelato in the Shuswap region. In addition to an impressive selection of flavors, this spot also offers healthier and less fattening gelato compared to traditional ice cream. The cafe also serves quality coffee, homemade treats, and an extensive food menu featuring breakfast wraps, paninis, and salads made to order.
I have a personal soft spot for coffee shops, I just adore that it’s a community space where people can come in and hang out with friends over coffee. If you love coffee, and a good treat then this is the place! I’m always amazed by the creativity with their baked items! Especially their cheesecake, they usually have a few different varieties. I was with friends on Saturday to try out their special February entry for the Salmon Arm hot chocolate trail. The only thing that didn’t work out for us was that they ran out of ham and cheese scones, so some of my friends had to have a cheese scone, but everybody enjoyed what they ordered. You can tell it’s a good place because seating is usually limited because there’s so many people enjoying the excellent treats. I plan to also come back one day to try their ice cream as they have a really good selection.

Absolutely loved Pink Cherry Café!
The sandwiches were incredibly fresh and flavorful—made with care and the perfect balance of ingredients. And the gelato? Simply delightful—smooth, not overly sweet, and full of rich flavor. The atmosphere is cozy, and the staff were genuinely kind and welcoming. It’s one of those places that leaves you feeling both satisfied and happy. Really good value for the gelato you get! + Pistachio as a flavour thats not artificial tasting is always impressive. Wifi and seating is nice too.

Walked over to the Pink Cherry from the BC hydro charging station. Thanks for the use of your washroom and yummy coffee. Was sad that almost all of the baking was already gone at 2:30. Very cute little cafe.
I was never really a breakfast guy, but the Bacon Breakfast Bagle was the best breakfast I had in my entire life! Unfortunately, we’re only passing through and will be leaving Salmon Arm tomorrow, but i will 100% recommend this place to everyone looking for delicious breakfast food and/or smoothies & coffee!!!
My 4 buddies also loved it, and if you are vegetarian (like 2 of us) it has also great options!
Had matcha tea and the most delicious carrot cake ever!! Lovely staff, comfy chairs and striking art on walls. Ate the chicken quesidias and were very impressed with the generous portion, excellent and oh-so-tasty ingredients! Go here and you will enjoy.
The cheese in the sandwiches is SO high quality and delicious. We had the two kinds of vegetarian sandwiches and they were excellent. Cute atmosphere too.

I have such a spot in my heart for a family run business and this one is truly endearing. I'm used to a friendly, down-to-earth experience, but the care for food is matched by the care for the people here.
The beef dip we ordered had absolutely fantastic flavors and the quality of ingredients was amazing. The beef was tender and the au jus was packed with flavor!
Beyond the food, seating was comfy and the live music was such a lovely addition to the evening. Not only live but talented artists too! Even the noise level was approachable as it felt buzzing but not overwhelming, making it easy to chat or enjoy the ambience.
If you're passing through town and have any extra time to spare for a sit-down dinner, I highly recommend stopping by for a delicious meal and kind smiles. Even if you can't stay and you order to go, you can expect utmost perfection anyway.

Came here for dinner and drinks. Loved the unique and cozy interior. You seat yourself so we chose a table by the window. We ordered the grapefruit rosemary spritz and a beer. Cocktail was delicious for the first few sips but there was so much ice that melted fast so the drink became watery really quick. For food, I ordered the fig and brie pizza which was delicious, my partner also liked his elevated Hawaiian. Though the taste of the pizzas were good, it was mostly crust. The affogato at the end was only alright. All-in-all the experience was fine, but for $100/2 people I expected a little better.
Excellent food, service, and art. We really enjoyed the Night Cafe and highly recommend trying it. The Beef Brisket Burger was delicious along with the Classic Flatbread Pizza and Strawberry Rustic Cheesecake. Kids loved the Strawberry Fields Crepe with Nutella.
I adore this place so much! The food options are incredibly delicious! I have never been disappointed with anything, and the price point and portion size are always great! I love that this is a family run business and they bring passion to the art, decor, food, drinks and service. They are local and involved in the community too! We tend to come here for special celebrations and date night. We love their pizza and I have loved their salads.

Came here on a Friday night with my husband, the place is beautiful and the live music was great but the night was very clearly understaffed. I wanna say there was one server and one food runner for the entire restaurant. Drinks were taking 15-20 minutes. My food came 40 minutes after my husband’s and at this point we were already asking for the bill. I wouldn’t be rushing to come back on a super busy night. Cocktails were great though!
I went with a couple friends and it was a good impression so far, I was met with a kind lady who seemed to be working inside. We sat down and she said she would bring some drinks over, we sat there for 15 minutes before they took our order. After 30 more minutes we finally got our drinks. We waited another 35 minutes until the first plate came out, 10 minutes later the next plate, after running to the car and getting a sweater we still waited 20 minutes for our final dish. We never got checked on and our silverware were dirty as well. The table beside us the whole time was getting fast service, instant drinks and instant orders getting taken. We asked for the bill and he came back after 10 minutes and then only did he (the server) talk to us to receive that tip. I will not be coming back, food was okay, but the service was horrible.

We live in Alberta and have a summer place in BC. We always make it a point to go to EcoTreats whenever we can. Their freshly baked goodies are so delicious and the coffee tastes like coffee not warm water. We miss their previous location in Scotch Creek, which made it easier for us to pop in. We highly recommend stopping in there and enjoying a coffee and a home baked berry or pumpkin scone. Soooo good!!!
It’s the worst to go into a coffee shop and everyone looks miserable. No fun chat, somber mood, older lady bad vibes. Music, barely a whisper. Got a chai latte, blueberry muffin, and overnight oats. The latte was the better of the three.
First time as I was driving thru town. Googled coffee & lunch shops and this one seemed right. Although staff were preparing to close they were more than happy to warm up some soup ( it was out for the day), grill me a sandwich while they made my coffee. Delish Chicken Pesto Sandwich & Vegetable Barley soup was tasty & hearty . The gal were super polite and happy to serve me so close to closing time.
If you need a quick bite or a coffee in salmon arm, this is the place to go. This is my third trip to Salmon arm this year and I can’t believe I missed this gem the first two trips! The 12 oz iced latte was strong & dark, just how I like it, and the breakfast burrito hit a balance of healthy, flavorful, and filling after a hard ride - I skipped the cheese and sour cream to make it dairy free and it was still delicious. Service was quick, friendly, and it was bright, clean with an upbeat vibe. Everything you’d want a coffee or quick lunch spot!

We enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant but our meal was just ok. We ordered the stir fry with rice noodles and the sizzling plate with rice. One with beef and one with chicken. One dish $24 and one at $25 definitely on the higher side but portions are on the bigger side so plenty for 2 to share. We found both dishes to be rather bland. One dish came with a tiny plate of chili oil so we asked for extra which they did bring another tiny plate of it. When we asked for another the waiter said they don't have anymore. Don't appreciate being lied too. If they don't want to provide that's fine we would have paid extra for it but considering the price of the dishes it should have been included. First Vietnamese restaurant I've ever been to that guards chili oil like that! They do have siracha available at the table but neither of us like the flavour of it. I recommend you add chili oil jars to your tables like every other Vietnamese restaurants.

A real gem in this small town and a wonderful surprise to be able to taste such authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Owner’s family is originally from Vancouver and this is better than quite a few Vietnamese restaurants there in my opinion. Best way to tell is to check the broth of the beef pho and having tasting this, you know this is the real stuff, not made from some instant powder.
Passing through Salmon Arm for one night and was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. Our group of 12 was quickly seated and served. I don't know how the young lady remembered all our orders without writing anything down?! The sautéed beef pho was clean and delicious.

Bill was brought to the table before we were even done eating and seconds after paying,, we were told to leave asap because of the availability of tables - I wasn’t finished drinking my purchased and paid for tea - I was given permission to finish my “still warm” tea - AND … there were 5 open and clean tables, with no waiting guests- wow - rude rude rude
We ate our food at a normal pace and the waiter asked if we wanted dessert before our meal was finished - which we both thought was strange … not an expected end to what was a nice meal - sad

How have I never been to this Gem? I like having one good coffee place in every town I visit and this will definitely be the one I will go back to. I had a flat white Made with oat milk. If I don’t want to add sugar to it, then it’s a good tasting cup of coffee. I also had a slice of banana bread, which is also delicious. I loved the vibe of the place definitely my kind of place

We recently went to Brixx Brew House for a work dinner to celebrate a new business venture, and it was an amazing experience! We snagged a spot on the outdoor patio, which had a fantastic view of the area. But honestly, the real star of the night was Shauna, our server.
Shauna was very kind and hospitable. She not only gave us great menu recommendations but also shared some thoughtful tips on how we could get involved in the Salmon Arm community. Even though it was a busy night with the $10 burger special, Shauna managed her time perfectly, making each of us feel valued and engaged.
It was a truly wonderful experience from start to finish. Thanks again, Shauna, for making our evening so memorable! Highly recommend!

Went for their smashed burger night. Burgers were burnt and ridiculously small. 2 small patties smaller than a A&W buddy burger. The waiter mixed up the orders and wouldn’t send it back to the kitchen to correct them. He just told us to switch the burgers around, but they were completely wrong. He wouldn’t come back except to give us the bill. The waiter’s service there is always terrible, had him more than once and he never gets the orders right. Last time has the chicken fingers and they were so dried out, they tasted terrible. Again nothing was done to correct the food, they just handed us the bill. I only give 2 stars generously as the waitress there is always friendly. Food is absolutely terrible here and not worth the money.

I ordered a steak sandwich which was really good but the presentation was puzzling.
It was a lovely 8oz steak, perfectly cooked, whole, ontop of two half pieces of chibatta bun with micro greens on top. I had to deconstruct the sandwich and eat all the components separately, which was fine, but not what I expected.
We wished we had eaten outdoors as there was no sound deadening in the room at all and really difficult to converse.
Had no idea where the restroom was (our server was too busy to flag down) and there were no signs do I just watched the direction when people left their seat, where were they going? (It's out the door, down the hall, almost to the entrance, off to the left)
It did take longer than we had hoped to get the check and leave; I only saw two servers and they were taking care of about 22 diners
I ordered carry out tonight and while the servers were so so nice. This is NOT a smash burger, its two small tough patties. 2 burgers and 2 upgraded fries cost 60 bucks. Won't be returning. But I hope the servers do well. The Girl i talked to on the phone was so nice.
We totally thought we should go here... Well, the 'chef' tried to hide my burnt steak under a bunch of green leaves... The replacement was better but very bland. Service was ok but super slow as they only had two servers on staff. We saw potential customers walk out after servers not coming back to the table for over 15 minutes. The GM needs to be held responsible for the loss of revenue and loss of ratings.

Ordered fish and chips today, Friday August 1. Total disappointment Fish was Cod and I expected great fish? The fish was soggy and mushy in the middle. Our order took a long time to come+30 mi and the fish wasn't hot . I suspect that the oil wasn't hot and that's it looked the way it did? I was expecting a nice meal and I was disappointed. I suggest that if you're interested in Fish and Chips that you go elsewhere? Just saying

I am a smash burger expert, from making them to enjoying them so I was pleased to see smash burgers on the menu so of course I ordered the smash burger. The first clue that something might be off was when our waiter came back and asked me which smash burger I wanted, I ordered and waited for my salad to arrive.
The salad was goopy and over dressed but was crisp and fresh
The burger came out of the kitchen wrong, then when it came out again it was apparent that inside instead of making a new burger they scraped off the incorrect toppings and re served it to me as it was gone less than a couple of minutes.
As for it being a "smash" burger, you can't get much farther from a smash burger than what they served me, tasteless and tough to chew. Might I suggest your chefs learn how to make smash burgers if they are going to be on your menu.
My wife ordered the ribs as it was rib night, and when asked how they where all she could say is meh.
The good thing about our experience is we never have to come back.
Disregard other reviews. Burger special night is awesome, the burgers are VERY good and the value is great. Service is excellent and the patio has an amazing view. Couldn't ask for better.

Excellent fish tacos as a recommendation from our server. Bright and crispy veg coupled with the chewy soft taco. Chimichangas were good. Thinking back on the meal we would of swapped the nachos for another fish taco set.
Pulled up Google and was just looking for some high scores for dinner. The food and reviews sounded great. Wife and I had an awesome meal. I had the chicken Chimichangas and the wife ordered the beef burrito. The food was delicious. Side note! The burrito is huge. You could probably order an appy and split a burrito!! Wife also had a virgin Pina Colada. It felt very homemade and delicious. Could taste fresh pineapple. So much of the food coming out of the kitchen looked so good. Will be going back again next visit to Salmon Arm.
I went solo tonight because I was craving fajitas and two thirds of the way through my meal I realized that every other table was given complimentary chips and salsa.. But not me. I feel pretty ripped off about it because I would have eaten it all up. At first I thought that maybe it was because I was alone but no, there was another guy there eating tacos by himself and they brought him some chips and salsa. It was just me that they forgot about.
Authentic Mexican cuisine, great vibe. There are lots of gluten free options available. Great place, would recommend.
Mango Margarita is great if you like something sweeter. Lime Margarita is great, is like something a little less sweet.
The food was great as well. We got the Pescado Taco's and Plato's plate.
Some places the food or drinks can be hit and miss but this place was awesome with everything.
Fantastic food. Strongly recommend the traditional dishes. The mole (!) was unexpected, and far exceeded expectations. Chocolate forward but still the complex subtlety you get from a good mole (nutty, spices, slight heat, herbaceous notes). Fajitas were phenomenal and the Pico de Gallo on the side of all our dishes was fresh and refreshing. If we are in Salmon Arm at supper time on our way back home, we will be eating here again!

Right off the highway 1 and located very conveniently. Good atmosphere but the service leaves a lot to be desired. Anything we asked (not food) takes a long time to be delivered. The meal was alright but the portion size is small for the price. Especially the shared plates. It is not enough for 2.

Extremely disappointing experience. We ordered Kadhai Paneer and naan — both were terrible and lacked any authentic taste. Hoping for better, we tried the noodles next, but they were even worse. Still hungry and with no other Indian restaurants open, we reluctantly ordered Papri Chaat. That turned out to be the worst of all as it smelled stale, the papri was clearly old, and the chutneys had a foul, spoiled taste. Truly the worst chaat I’ve ever had. Would not recommend this place at all.

Ordered takeout just before the closing on a Saturday night. I picked up my take out around 8:30pm. Food was ok. I ordered chicken instead they gave me paneer which ruined my appetite. Just make sure you check your order before picking it.

Once again, had dinner at Boston’s pizza in Salmon Arm. The food was good and with a good atmosphere also. But what really made the evening a great experience, was the fantastic service from Gurleen. She was fantastic once again. Every time we go there, if she’s the one looking after us, the service is impeccable, she is very friendly and professional. She’s always with a smile and very carefully listening to what, we and the kids order and never a mistake. It’s a pleasure to go to BP, have a good relaxing evening and enjoy our dinner, but mostly having a nice and polite server, with a great working attitude and customer service oriented. The food was enjoyable, and the service was satisfactory. However, the cleanliness of the establishment left much to be desired—floors appeared untidy, and several tables were sticky with crumbs remaining from previous guests.

A perfect little break on our trip — thank you for the great service and wonderful atmosphere!
We had some "freebies" to use. I had a complimentary pizza and my boyfriend had a birthday dessert. I enjoyed my Caesar drink with my half of the pizza. The Chocolate Explosion dessert was soooo good. Our server Chloe at the Salmon Arm location was excellent. Very friendly and professional.

The atmosphere and service at this restaurant were lovely. The waitress was kind and answered our questions. The chef even swapped out onions in my dish for pineapple after I asked. We came in for their lunch specials and were pleasantly surprised by the moderate prices. However, once we received our plates we were not pleased with the portion sizes. For twelve dollars plus tax we had hoped to receive a full plate of rice and vegetables. The amount of ingredients included in each dish did not adequately reflect the price paid. For example, the vegetable stir fry I ordered had one slice of zucchini and three small cubes of tofu. Three pieces of pineapple, and not much else. Lovely staff and a clean establishment, but portion sizes do not match the prices.
Love this place. Excellent authentic Thai food. Authentic Pad Thai, delicious green curry and truly amazing homemade fish cakes. I enjoyed the tasty Thai tea, and it reminded me of my trip to Bangkok. I even order another one to go! Oh and the service was great as well. Love it.
What an amazing restaurant. The service was outstanding, the food was excellent, the atmosphere is great with super comfy chairs, and prices are more than reasonable. It was easy to find parking as downtown SA is pretty sleepy after 5pm, even in the middle of summer. I had the lemongrass chicken and my wife had panang chicken, both of them were fantastic. Deep fried banana was the perfect ending. Not sure when we will be back in SA, but we will eat here again when we visit again.
Absolute worst Thai food I’ve ever had. We ordered a rice noodle dish that had no flavour whatsoever. Once you add the rice noodles in the gravy, they were still dry and the gravy is so bland you can’t even taste it. Not to mention $20 for a dish I could have made for a dollar at home. Do they even taste their own food?
Took us in 30 minutes to closing. Very calm atmosphere. Nice decor and relaxing chairs. Dinner was very tasty. Very good experience all-around. We'll be back.

We love this family owned Japanese restaurant. Service is efficient and friendly even when they are slammed with customers! The sushi is high quality and flavorful, the miso soup is hot and satisfying. This is definitely on repeat for us.

Going to Kotan Sushi for the first time was a calming experience. The employees are very welcoming and fervent on serving you. They even play chill/hip-hop Japanese music from a music player to set the mood. I ordered the Ginger Beef Rice Bowl with the Wild Tiger Roll, which came with Miso. The Ginger Beef taste great, even if it does not look appetizing at first. Every ingredient in it, including the vegetables and rice is flavourful. The sushi, too, is delicious maintaining that balance of flavour between the fermented rice and the contents inside the sushi roll. I give major compliments to the chef. I would definitely becoming back.

If you're strolling along Lakeshore Drive and looking for a family-friendly dining spot, MR MIKES SteakhouseCasual is worth a visit. While it's part of a well-known chain, it offers reliable and casual dining that's perfect for both kids and tired parents. The service here is top-notch, with pleasant servers and reasonably timed food delivery. Despite the slightly higher prices and smaller portions in 2024, the delicious meals make up for it.

Bit Mikes spinage dip is a great starter. Then the filet mignon in Gaucho style with extra garlic mushrooms. To finish? Get an Uber brownie!
Oh and cocktails? Try the Peach Bellini or a peach mule if it has to be alcohol free.
A special thanks for the ENTIRE staff on May 21st: it was my 50th birthday and nobody knew. At least that is what I thought… They all came out singing at my table, gave me a handwritten card and a special surprise!!! I truly got tears in my eyes! People that don’t even know me made me feel at home… Thanks for that.

We visited Mr. Mikes Steakhouse after it was recommended to us by Jerry from our hotel — and it turned out to be an amazing choice! The manager Sukh greeted us with a big smile, seated us right away, and later came by again to make sure everything was perfect — such a lovely touch! Our server Brenda was absolutely wonderful — friendly, attentive, and always smiling.
We ordered the Fish & Chips, Tuna Poke Bowl, and a Caesar Salad — everything was fresh and delicious. The beer was just perfect, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming.
They truly have amazing customer service — everyone made us feel so welcome and cared for. We’re from Calgary and couldn’t be happier with the experience. Great service, great food, and great people. 10/10 — highly recommend this place!

Food was good and we were happy until they sat a table right next to us with 2 unruly children And a mom on her cell phone that wanted nothing to do with them.. In the patio of the restaurant there is a humongous pop go game that the children could play with and they were throwing the disks around and making an incredible rocket. So we asked to be moved to a different table. Which we did and when we commented to the waitress that It was not okay to have a game like that in a place Where we were spending over a $100 just for one dinner. She lost it and told us to basically go somewhere else If we didn't like children which was not the case. We have many grandchildren and love children. However, we did not wanna have our dinner in the playground. The waitress was so absolutely rude that we did actually leave and go to another place called Hideaway public house In the same parking lot, all was amazing. The service was fantastic. The food was great and we enjoyed our food and drinks. .. shame on you Mr. Mike's.

It took 45 minutes to get 3 meals and the restaurant had maybe 6 tables, then another 30 minutes to get 1 desert! My baked potato was cold , my husband meal was wrong and one of our drinks was 1 1/2 inch from the top. Not good service for this Monday September 15! Payton was a wonderful hostess that tried her best to help, five stars to her! We were not the only table getting hot under the collar!
I frequent this restaurant every time I go to or return from the coast. I have always found the food and service good until tonight. I arrived there and was seated promptly. The hostess told me who my server would be and I wish I had listened more carefully—I don’t know her name.
Anyway I sat there for at least 10 minutes and never saw a soul. I managed to read the menu from cover to cover and eventually left. This would have been forgivable if the restaurant was packed. It wasn’t.
I wound up going to The Hideaway just across the parking lot.

During a recent visit, I stumbled upon this gem while charging my electric vehicle nearby. The Pad Thai noodle box with tofu was an absolute treat—generous portions at reasonable prices made it even better!
While visiting downtown Salmon Arm for the first time, my university friends and I found a great little spot to eat. I tried the Peanut Satay noodle box with beef, and it was super delicious. The portion size was just right, and there was a good amount of meat. The staff were really friendly, and although the place only had seating for about 15 people, it had a nice, cozy atmosphere. My friends enjoyed their meals too, and we all agreed that we'd definitely recommend this place. I forgot the exact price, so I've added a picture of the menu to this review.

Looking for late lunch place on a Tuesday in downtown Salmon Arm that was open was hard, but we gave the Hungry Panda a try. Two meals and an appetizers. The appitizer was delicious, but the main meals were just so so.
The Hungry Panda is so delicious, it was such a gem here in Salmon Arm. The noodles here are amazing and the staff are so friendly and the service was fast. Definitely will be back again!
I got 2 bowls, one curry and one peanut Satay, both were delicious.
I don't know how authentic the flavors are, as I haven't tried them elsewhere, but they sure were tasty !

The concept is great and it’s a nice change from the chains that dot the city. Parking is easy enough to find.
The menu is limited but that’s a good thing because it makes choosing easier. And it’s nice if they can get proficient at a few items instead of trying to make dozens of different dishes.
The downsides are the time it takes to get your food (restaurant level so 10-15 minutes), and the density of the packaging. They use the TV style Chinese takeout boxes which look nice sure but they’re difficult to eat out of when everything is buried in rice. It was more of a digging exercise than eating. For the money it didn’t seem like the best meal - definitely filling but not in the way I expected. The food also comes out incredibly hot which I guess is good for food delivery but if you’re having it there it burns you.
Seating was easy to find, staff were nice and it seemed like a happy place to be. Some room for improvement though.

Since the ownership change, our visits to Crown & Anchor have become much more frequent — there’s a noticeable positive difference in both the food and the atmosphere.
A special shoutout to Jakob, who somehow always knows exactly what we’re craving without even asking. After serving us for nearly 7 years, he’s never once missed the mark!
The lunch special today was unreal — absolutely delicious and thoroughly enjoyed. Highly recommend checking this place out if you’re looking for quality food and fantastic service.

I am not quite sure what all the raves are about. The food was lacking flavor and for the price we paid it definitely is not worth it. The server was great to begin with but then was behind the bar making drinks and it took a lengthy amount of time to get our bill. Would not recommend and would definitely never go back.
Always a great time at Hideaway! Management is awesome to collaborate ideas with and they are really making the pub a fun atmosphere! It’s nice that kids are welcome during the daytime. Also Love the new tequila “Suenos” they introduced!
This was such a great place to have supper! The food was awesome but the service was really amazing! We had a great server who was friendly and warm and just really great! We had a lot of fun, the place was a nice atmosphere and we loved the food.
Absolutely delicious! We came to Salmon Arm from Vancouver for a short anniversary trip and this is the only restaurant we ate at while here and we’re so glad we chose it. The calamari was super crispy, the beef dip was a 10/10, and the fries were perfect. The owner was also really kind and told us about a beautiful lookout point nearby to visit during our trip. Overall a lovely experience. We’ll definitely be eating here anytime we’re in town!

I can’t say enough good things about this place — it’s completely transformed under the new ownership, and you can truly feel the difference from the moment you walk in. The vibe is warm, welcoming, and full of heart. The new owners have done an incredible job bringing this spot back to life, and it shows in every detail — from the decor to the service to the food.
Special shoutout to Justin and Melissa, our servers, who were absolute gems. They were both so friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about making sure we had a great experience. They made us feel like part of the family.
And let’s talk about the food — Taylor, the cook, is a magician in the kitchen! Everything came out hot, fresh, and full of flavour. You can taste the love and quality in every bite.

Great place. I had the grill chicken burger with onion rings. It was really tasty. You actually got a real piece of chicken, not like some places where it's paper thin and dry. I will definitely have it again. My hubby had the beef burger it comes with a pickle and an onion rings on top, but my hubby ate it before l could take the picture. He said it was pretty good:) it also has a nice covered patio for the summer days.

Jane's Place is a delightful spot in Piccadilly Mall. It is a Salmon Arm breakfast favourite with fantastic staff. Even at busy times, our servers have been top notch, this restaurant is luck to have such great employees!
The food is also great with decent sized portions and reasonable prices. The Eggs Benny, a couple different varieties, are stellar.
Janes is a licensed establishment so you can enjoy a cold beer in the air conditioned comfort. (Maybe not with breakfast though!)
Seating is up high enough that there is a nice view of the water feature and shoppers on their shopping missions.
This is a great local diner in the largest shopping center in Salmon Arm. Awesome food with lots of homemade items like burger patties. The decor is simple but you're able to people watch the mall goers, which is a great source of entertainment for all. Cute and friendly wait staff and I heard they got a handsome new cook 👀

Our server was attentive and their menu was well marked with gluten free options. I have celiac and didn’t have any reactions. Partner and I had dinner at The Peppercorn an hour before they were closing and honestly I couldn’t find a single thing to complain about.
We ordered the coconut rice, butter chicken pasta, coconut chicken, potato naan, and diet Coke. The total for two people, before taxes and tip came up to $54.00.
We’ve been in B.C for a few days now and for some reason we struggled to find a place that was appropriately priced, where the food was great, or at the very least above average, and where we left feeling happy about giving more than the standard tip. The Peppercorn Club exceeded all expectations and it’s too bad we weren’t able to stay another day, because I would have definitely tried their breakfast menu.
The staff were super kind, even offered tips on places we could visit on our way to Banff, food hit the spot and you can tell a lot of effort and love went into the dishes we ordered. Also, they were able to take something simple like garlic bread , which came with the butter chicken pasta, and managed to turn that into one of the highlights of our dinner. Highly recommend dipping the garlic bread into the coconut chicken, if you feel like getting wild.
This restaurant should definitely be on every person’s list of places to visit while in B.C , it’s worth the trip and money! I suggest folks order a variety of dishes from the menu so you get the most out of your experience.

We came for lunch and we really liked it. Had the paneer tikka masala and tried the butter chicken pasta. The tikka masala was excellent had a nice kick and naan which doesn't come with it was pretty good. The butter chicken pasta really surprised me. Tried it based on previews good reviews and so glad I did. The noodles were cooked just right and the butter sauce actually really works with pasta. We did spice level 4 for the tikka and 3 for the pasta but somehow found the pasta spicier. Would definitely go back next time we're in town.
Staff was attentive and kind. They were knowledgeable on the food they served and was willing to help make selections and suggestions if I didn't know what something was. They gave us a free small dessert too which was very nice. I enjoyed the food, everything we ordered was good and came out in a timely manner. It was a good experience and I will be going again.

The three of us ordered garlic naan, Butter Chicken , Tikka Masala, and Lamb Biryani. Everything was absolutely delicious, homey, and comforting, a delight with every bite. The portions were generous, we were hungry, but couldn't finish out meals. The place is simple, clean, and the atmosphere is pleasant. The lady who served us was nice and pleasant as well. Again, if you appreciate great tasting, home-cooked meals, I wholeheartedly recommend this place.

Stopped by Little B’s Pizzeria and was really impressed. The pizza was hot, flavorful, and had just the right amount of toppings without being too heavy. The crust was the standout for me — crispy on the outside but soft inside. Staff were friendly and the service felt genuine, not rushed. Cozy spot that makes you want to come back. Easily my new go-to pizza place in town.
I just had the worst donair I've ever had from here. The wrapper was so dry it was flaking and falling apart. Honestly I am shocked that they would serve it like that. Also had a slice of pepperoni pizza that was pretty good but not good enough to make up for the donair. Its disappointing because I have had some great pizza here before.

I recently tried the large donair and I must say, it packs a whole lot of taste. You literally need 2 people to finish 1.

Hidden gem alert! The cutest little gem of a spot with a little bistro setup to play tic - tac - toe while you wait :) Little B's pizza is incredible - Lots of toppings and the crust is a 10/10 and so tasty. I highly recommend Little B's!
Ordered 4 donairs 3 chicken 1 beef the bread wasn't fully cooked and soggy, the sauce was watery, the beef only had 3 small pieces.

The Candy Vault on Hudson is a delightful old-fashioned sweet shop that offers a wide variety of treats to satisfy any sweet tooth. From fresh fudge and juicy gummies to retro sodas and British Dairy Milk chocolate bars, this sprawling candy store has something for everyone. Visitors can also find jellybeans, Pez sticks, Nerds, and other iconic favorites.
Soon as we walked in the door everyone was friendly and helpful right away, the guy checking us out at the till was super kind and thanked us for coming in to the shop as well! The prices were fair and not expensive we found. The candy is really good and fresh, honestly thought it would be just another candy shop but definitely worth the drive from Kamloops! Will be back very soon

I have been coming to the Candy Vault store for a while now and every visit there has always been a good experience. The candy store always have something I like. They have unique chocolate bars, gummi candy and pop from outside the country. All through out the year, they sell different items. Some of them are pricy, but it is worth it. They even serve ice cream on the cone. The people that work there are always courteous and willing to help there customers. They are closed on Sundays and holidays, so make sure you know there business hours. I highly recommend this place for your source for sugary snacks.

I can't say enough amazing things about Sean and his team at the Candy Vault! We had thrown a Harry potter themed engagement party and we were able to get chocolate wands, butterbeer and harry potter icon dummies and of course the famous Bertie Bott Every Flavoured Beans! We had so many people comment how these were such great touches to our day and it create great memories to see the reactions on people's faces when they had rotten egg, dirty dish water or even the stink bug flavoured beans!

Really good food! We came a bit early and we were helped by a welcoming staff and made sure that we got all we needed. Breakfast portions are big and the person who served us and made our breakfast is so lovely! We can tell that our breakfast was made with love!

Trish's is a little out of the way for ordinary folks, just in the center of a little industrial park south of Salmon Arm. The place doesn't look flashy on the outside but it (and Trish) are very welcoming when you walk in. Super small town sort of feel, like you're over at mum's house for breakfast - if mum could cook this good. Coffee is help-yourself and breakfast was piping hot and fresh minutes after ordering.
This is a really popular spot for all the working fellas in the area, and you can tell Trish takes pride in feeding these boys good. Its worth the trip to go see her if you're just visiting too. My only regret is I didn't make it back to try her lunch menu.

I also believe food should be fresh — and while the taste of my bowl was good, it seemed like it had been sitting in the fridge for at least 2 or 3 days…apart of this all good!
Healthy "fast food" at its best! You can always count on The Nom for delicious and conveniently quick meals! Their "grab and go" fridge is so prefect for busy days. They also offer pre-order meal prep, which my husband has done and loves. The staff are so friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is lovely ‐ definitely a place to check out!
The only place in Salmon Arm that has consistently fresh, good quality food available for lunch. Dine in or take out, The Nom is substantially better than all other options. Prices are high compared to Nature's Fare type places, but to be able to support local people making great quality local food is well worth the few extra dollars per serving. The Nom is a must try for those who appreciate good quality, fresh food!!

Been looking for good coffee beans for a while now. Tried out Shuswap coffee beans while on a trip to Kelowna and loved it! The beans brew a really pleasant and aromatic coffee that packs a nice caffeine punch. It starts my day off right which is so important. I LOVE enjoying my coffee in the morning. I get these beans shipped to me whenever I run out. They always arrive very fresh and well packed! Highly recommend.

We recently relocated our shop next to Shuswap Coffee Company. Although we had never tried their coffee before, the owner kindly offered us a bag to sample. Let me tell you, it was absolutely amazing! We're now local fans, and it's become our go-to choice for our morning brew.
Super Impressed! Purchased a pound of "Midnight Espresso" at a market in Salmon Arm. It was a quick stop while driving through town but would be worth a trip :)

Home Restaurant is a popular dining spot known for its clean environment, friendly and attentive staff, and reasonably priced superb breakfast with large portions. The quality of the food is consistently fantastic, and the servings are very generous. The restaurant offers ample free parking but tends to fill up quickly on Sundays. Under new ownership/management, it has greatly improved in terms of service and food quality. Visitors highly recommend trying the Benny omelette and appreciate the familiar sight of this small chain of quality restaurants.
The food was awesome! Clam chowder was thick and tasty. So good! Burger was perfect! Then there was dessert. The pie slices are huge! They were a meal on their own! And did I mention delicious!?! Absolutely! Service was outstanding! Waitresses were all happy and friendly. You can tell they love their job and take pride in their work. So going back there again!

Great service and delicious food. I had trouble deciding what to order because there were several items that sounded really good. I ended up choosing the Harvest Chicken Wrap - glad I did as it was delicious. For my side, I chose the chicken/mushroom soup which was pretty good although mushroom soup isn't my fave. My friend had the Hot Turkey Sandwich which he gobbled up. Servings were generous. I took a slice of lemon meringue pie with me for later. The Home Restaurant is known for its pies - now I know why.
I had the Bavarian Pork Schnitzel. Incredible. The place is very simple in decor but don’t let that sway you into thinking the food is simple. It’s good. It’s very tasty. I would compare it to being a meal comparable to grandmas house. The staff is very polite and accommodating. The pies… omgosh!!! Delicious. Perfectly prepared.
Came to Salmon Arm for work and some of the boys recommended this place. Had the turkey dinner and was not disappointed. Be weary though, the portion sizes are pretty big so show up hungry!
Decent prices, very tasty. They have the quintessential breakfast sausage that I was introduced to as a child when Albert's was a thing. Very classic breakfast spot.
We recently dined at this restaurant and we were super happy with the experience. We chose this restaurant as we have been to their other locations and are always very satisfied. The minute we walked in the door we were warmly greeted and treated like family. The offered food suggestions and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was great and the whole experience made us feel even better.
I'm an avid eater at Home Restaurants. This is the 1st time I had my mom buy a whole pie. It was supposed to be strawberry and rhubarb. Lots of rhubarb but not 1 strawberry. It was strawberry flavored filling. No real fruit in it and to boot 2 longish hairs inside the pie. For $32 this really could of been better. Unfortunately I will not be ordering this again.

I visited Setters Neighbourhood Pub and tried their Cabbage Roll soup, which was enjoyable. However, I personally would have preferred an actual cabbage roll. Nonetheless, I believe it's worth giving it a try. I went with a group of people and everyone seemed satisfied with their orders, as the food looked appetizing. The service provided was excellent - the staff were friendly, informative, and even cracked jokes. The interior appeared newly renovated with a clean and nicely decorated atmosphere.
We went out for Easter Dinner after working today, and our server Lauren was top-notch! Our meal was delicious! Everyone was so positive and happy there! Will for sure be back!!

I've been going here for about 12 years and it has gotten much, much better. The food and menu is great. The chef has made a big difference. The bartender seems to know what everybody drinks.The new manager really ensures good service and good food.
Live events all the time. It's actually fun to go to Setter's now! Live bands all the time; karaoke, trivia, paint n' sips. They did this without really changing the atmosphere; in 12 years I haven't seen a single incident, fight or anything. This public house is nice place to take your grandmother for lunch or take your rowdy ball team; it's a good atmosphere for a pub.
I got a GOOD smash burger with tomato lettuce on a nice bun, full side of fries and pint of beer for under $10; hence the 5 stars.

Also , sound in place due to new ( cheep looking ) vinyl flooring pretty much bare walls , place gets very loud to point where its hard to have a conversation accross the table. Get some sound deadening panels up on ceiling and something- anything on walls etc to warm the place up

An amazing buffet all around. Alana , our server was amazing!! Extremely polite and on top of everything. Decent selection of food.. Lunch time includes sushi selections, chicken, wings, deep-fried, prawns, deep-fried, fish, and all the other Chinese favorited. They even have a decent selection of fresh fruit and a salad bar as well. Don’t forget to check out the soup,s too. . I highly recommend the ginger, beef, and the black bean chicken vegetables.
I will definitely be back when I’m in town and I highly suggest that you do the same

Everything about this place was 100% on point! I just moved to the area and this was my first visit. As soon as I walked inside I was greeted with a huge welcome and seated promptly at my table. The atmosphere was friendly and inviting, children were happily making trips back and forth to the dessert table and ice cream machine laughing and giggling. It really felt just like home. I started with won ton soup at the 1st buffet table which also had BBQ ribs, Fried Rice, Noodles, Dry ribs, Beef with broccoli (the classics) . Everything I tasted was hot and fresh , so fresh , and it was delicious! Next I had sweet and sour chicken balls with sauce , spring rolls with plum sauce and french fries, To finish I tried the Honey Won Tons - YOU MUST TRY THIS ITEM IT IS AMAZING!!!!! I also had some banana cream pie , also fantastic, some jello cubes and some fresh fruit. There was an elderly couple that kept bringing more hot and fresh items from the kitchen and they were friendly and sweet. My server was Anna and she was so kind and asked me several times how was everything tasting and she stopped for a few minutes to introduce herself and welcomed me back anytime. She provided me with the delivery/ take out menu as well. I had such an amazing time, I highly recommend checking this place out it's fantastic!! :) :)

Would normally give 4 stars but the service was really nice and the place super clean. For a buffet they deserve 5 stars. They had a good selection and reasonable pricing so would go back. We really liked the wonton soup, the pork shumai, the sesame chicken was also pretty good. I personally didn't like the general tao chicken felt a bit too chewy but the sweet and sour pork was good. They have sushi as well and for desserts not too much but the little coconut cake they have was super good.

This is a restaurant I stopped by midway through my trip to Banff. There are two buffets along the way, and I tried both, but this one was the tastier. The food was replenished quickly, and the staff was friendly. They even had ice cream. ^^
Absolutely love this place, the food was delicious, all of it tasted good and I am usually a very picky eater! The customer service very nice too. Atmosphere is comfortable and chill. It's clean and spacious. The price is also incredibly good for what you can eat! My partner asked for some sushi and they ran out but then a few minutes later they made some for him either way, that was very nice! Thank you and we will be back for sure!

Very average Chinese food—pretty bland really. Part of our meal package for our tour. Dishes brought out to our table without any explanation. Restaurant was dirty, with used plates left on tables and food on the floor. Disappointing experience. The smorgasbord experience was even worse. Dried out food, empty dishes not refilled. Overall the food was not good.
The buffet. Like yesterday's leftovers. This is Canadian Chinese food you'd get in a bar. Deep fried coatings on the chicken and pork could break a tooth. And all the sugar sauces. Dessert pieces of cake smaller than a thumbnail. Not worth the price or inevitable indigestion. Used to be good.
Presented takeout for 11 people. Ready and packed on time and it was hot. Not like we get at home: smaller portions and higher price. One dish missing the sauce, rice was packed with beef slices on top. It all got eaten though.
Food was not good , ordered ginger beef and the beef tasted sour , was almost inedible. In addition ordered chicken fried rice, and the chicken was placed on the top of the rice meaning , that it wasn't freshly made , they had a large patch made of regular fried rice, and added the chicken on instead if it being mixed in. Also had deep fried shrimp which was so greasy it was wet had to use paper towel to suck out some of the grease to be able to eat it . Save your money, somewhere else. I will not be ordering from there again.
Was the worst chow mien ive ever had & the pork was over cooked by about 18 hours. It used to be good but last nite was the worst excuse of Chinese food ive ever had. Im white & ill bet a thousand dollars i can make better food than that crap. Ill never spend a another nickel there. Should have just gone to A&W
First-time visit last night, and we decided to go takeout for our dinner. The restaurant looks clean inside, and plenty of parking space outside. It was such a nice location to get to. The staffs at the counter were friendly and pleasant; however, apparently, they were too busy, slightly understaffed and got totally slammed and overwhelmed. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t say I’m happy for our dinner. The flavuor of our dishes is about 1/3 not good, either too plain or too salty. I understand that’s probably not the best night they have. I’m glad I came to this restaurant and tried it myself. Thanks for the effort to make our dinner. Cheers.
Absolutely the best in town, hands down. Had a couple of not so stellar experiences on Mondays but every other day of the week Yan's is, by far, the best there is. Won't be ordering from anywhere else again!

I took my son for dinner and I tried their taco salad bowl for the first time. I hadn't read the menu that carefully and was surprised to find that it included tater tots in the salad! Very different, but I liked it . The taco bowl shell was freshly made & crispy and I loved the salsa they use. The veggies in the salad were crisp and also very fresh. I would definitely have this salad again.
Horrible Payouts. Not even worthy of one star. 1 star for having a restaurant. But overall, this place should be called No chances. Sorry, but many people have said this as well. Normally , wouldn't post anything but in case people should be made aware.

Tried out a new restaurant while we were in town and it was rather disappointing. The tables were dirty, one server was running around trying to keep up with all the customers and three rolls took over 45 minutes to get served. Some of the prices were reasonable while the Sashimi was over-priced for the paper thin pieces you get.

Sushi portions were big, presentation was fantastic, taste was next level. Without a doubt the best meal my family and I had on vacation in Salmon Arm. It can definitely go toe to toe with any big city sushi restaurant. Don’t miss this food stop gem!
First time eating here with no expectations. Waited an unreasonable amount of time for a rice bowl and 3 sushi rolls. No one came to ask how the food was, had to wave down the waiter for a take out container. Couldn’t finish my salmon rice bowl because it was so dry. Mentioned it on my trip to the till and then after all that the bill was $75. We spend a ton on sushi. But it won’t be here.
Ordered the Korean Style Ramen. I kid you not the restaurant served me SHIN RAMYUN. I have eaten NONGSHIM's korean instant noodles countless times and it tasted EXACTLY the same. What confirmed it was the little carrot and beef chunks at the bottom of the bowl. I went to the Walmart and I think this is where the restaurant purchases their "Korean Style Ramen" stock from. A case of 10 packages goes for $12.97. The restaurant charged $15.95!!!
me and my partner went here a little bit ago. for starters they brought us to cups of warm water, whatever. then we both got a sushi roll each, it tasted awful and there was human hair in both rolls. absolutely disgusting.
Ordered 4 meals and only recieved 3 of them. When we asked the waitress, she said it was coming but the cook was gone somewhere. And then moved on to skip orders. No apology nothing! So one of us went hungry. Would definitely not recommend trying it here.

Nineteen05 Kitchen & Raw Bar is a sophisticated restaurant located in the Prestige hotel. The staff are friendly and the setting is beautiful, making it hard to leave. One visitor enjoyed the unique taste of the Mango Avocado Benedict made on braddock bread, along with cubed hash browns with cherry tomatoes and green onions. Another guest found it to be a nice place for a mid-day coffee meeting and expressed interest in trying more of Nineteen05 while exploring the area.
My husband and I went to this restaurant for an impromptu dinner date on April 26. The atmosphere was perfect - very professional and modern/sleek, yet also inviting. The floor to ceiling windows really opened up the space with the natural light. Not to mention the view of the water was wonderful. I cannot wait to go back when the patio is open! Our server was wonderful, also very professional and elegant yet friendly! I forgot to write down her name (whoops!), but she was a stunning woman from Bulgaria!
My husband ordered the Espresso martini drink and it was very well done, robust with flavour. I ordered the Caesar with light ice. When I got the Caesar it had too much ice for my liking and tasted a bit watered down. I don’t usually complain, but I let her know and she got me another one right away with much less ice and full of flavour, which I really appreciated, as I was nervous to even say anything.
We got the sunset sushi roll to share and neither my husband or I could rave anymore about this roll!!! I have never had sushi with the caramelized walnut topping on it before, and it pulled the flavours together so well that every bite was tantalizing. We are sushi lovers and we love flavour, and this roll was 10/10! Would absolutely order again. I had the 1905 burger with fries for my main. Also full of flavour and did not disappoint! The Brie cheese incorporated was perfectly oozing with flavour and pulled everything together for me. My husband had the 8oz sirloin steak with gnocchi. It was all wonderfully cooked, and I have to note that I really enjoyed the flavour and cook of the veggies that came on the side with that dish.
There was a large party booked in the main area that began to arrive as we were leaving, and I have to say again that the atmosphere is great and I would definitely book an event or large dinner in this space.
Lastly, the location was perfect, as we were able to drive not 2 minutes away to the park on the lake that we could see from the window, and stroll down the pier while we digested our wonderful dinner.
We are new to this area and are excited to have found this place. We will definitely be back for patio season!

We’ve called Salmon Arm home for almost seven years now, and for our special occasion tonight, Valentina and Tanja truly spoiled us rotten. From their impeccable wine recommendations to the perfectly crafted Aperol Spritz, every detail was flawless.
Our experience began with the Tuna Tower served with house-made wonton chips—crispy, fresh, and absolutely mind-blowing. Then came the Red Curry Prawns with their legendary homemade focaccia bread, a dish so rich in flavor it felt like a culinary masterpiece.
For our mains, Tanja’s recommendations were spot-on. The Seafood Pasta was loaded with fresh, perfectly cooked seafood in a sauce that was both delicate and decadent. The Chicken Curry was an explosion of flavors, with generous portions so big we had to take some home for tomorrow!
From start to finish, the service was flawless, the food phenomenal, and the atmosphere unmatched. 1905 continues to set the gold standard for dining in Salmon Arm. We cannot wait to come back! 10/10 highly recommend!

Absolutely recommend!!! Went for a birthday dinner and all 6 of us had absolutely outstanding meals!! The service was great and the view is always fabulous. I tried the Crab Crunch Roll and I’m not sure I can go there again without wanting to have it every time, it was SO good!! The flavours are mouthwatering & the presentation makes you want to savour it even with your eyes. We were all beyond impressed throughout the entire meal so much so, that was actually all we talked about the entire time!!
Great food, great service, my favourite is the molton chocolate lava cake, if you visit this restaurant, please get it! Not too sweet, decadent and satisfying. Overall a great meal. They also have a nice patio beside the lake with amazing view.
They've done a really nice job on the atmosphere and the staff tried their best however it was definitely apparent they were under staffed. It almost seemed like the servers were also covering the adjacent Brixx Brew House which is also part of the hotel. This led to a number of noticeable issues for our dinner.
Their food portions are generous but unfortunately the Ninteen05 Burger patty was very disappointing despite the rest of the ingredients being good the burger was dry and definitely pre packaged / frozen. Other meals ordered were good but I wouldn't recommend the Peach Bellini.
We had an amazing dining experience here! We ordered a salad and pasta—both were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. To top it off, they surprised me with a choco lava cake and a candle for my birthday, which made the moment even more special.

Offered me 2 free frosties as well. Seems fair try to give me food poisoning so I catch it and get two free frosties that’s it. I will never be returning.

Service was abysmally slow with nearly zero other customers, the food was subpar, and the staff seemed completely confused at the slightest deviation from the set menu. Even among other locations, this one always proves to be worse in every way.
I was very disappointed when I received my taco salad last night. The portion was tiny and the cost with a fountain drink $15. I was in a hurry and rushed off, only then noticing that I hadn't received sour cream or salsa. Way too much money for what I paid!!!

Been to several subways in many countries. Never seen such grumpy staff. The person who catered to my kid was scowling at us the whole time. It appeared as if he was doing us a favor assembling the sub. Not sure if it had anything to do with our color. But on the whole, he managed to spoilour moods completely.
I ordered a sub for delivery and I called 9 times they kept picking up and hanging up on me all because the online didn’t have a create your own option so I wanted to switch the meat and they continued to pick up the phone I could hear the restaurant noises and they would hang up. Terrible service I cannot believe they continued to hang up so I have now spent $20 plus tip on a sub I don’t want. Do better
The food and service was good, there were just no change tables or high chairs that we could find. Made it a bit of a challenge with our two small kids.

I intended on calling to give instructions as it seemed our delivery driver may be lost. The manager lectured me about how pizza was made and that it takes a minimum of 40 minutes to make a pizza and that the app was wrong and hung up on me . Took 65 minutes for it to arrive cold and not cut .the kids pizzas had chilly flakes on them . I called back. And after arguing about how he was at my house when he wasn’t. The manager said “ how do you want me to make this right what would you like me to do about. “ I got a 15$ credit. Then they sent a driver with new pizza that I didn't ask for and he said he was told to show me google maps and that next time that I order I should check with google maps. I’m pretty disappointed I’ll never buy at this location again.
My pizza was too much saucy from the middle and soggy and topping were also not spread evenly. Also, I asked for square cut but i still got pie cut. It was disappointing experience from dominos.

I’d like to give special recognition to Siman for her outstanding pizza-making skills — she truly makes the best pizzas here. Unfortunately I cannot give this restaurant more than 3 stars today. Ordered 2 pizzas and some chicken for my family, only to find the extravaganza so loaded with olives it was nearly inedible. I’m the only one in the family that really likes olives, but it was truly too much….The rest of the family don’t mind picking the odd one off. However, it seems the theme of the day was olive strong to the point where my family was flat out saying umm not touching this pizza.Quite disappointed with the sheer amount of olives on this pizza.

Incredible course with excellent kept greens and amazing conditions. We came here with a group over the weekend and it was an awesome experience. The staff was friendly upon arrival and the practice facilities were awesome because range balls were free and there are large putting greens. First tee is right by the front entrance so it's easy to access after the range. The views are awesome and the course is pretty wide open. If you stay out of the long stuff you'll be okay.

A fantastic golfing experience! The course is in outstanding condition with multiple tee box options for any level of golfer. Greens run true, but aren’t lightning fast. Price is decent ($108 at the time of day we went) with cart included. A great course with many unique holes that force you to think through your plans.
Course was in fantastic shape. Only issue was .the 2 staff members we actually had interaction with. Pro shop was NOT helpful. No information was offered by him whatsoever. If it wasn't for the fact that I had played here before ( few years back) we wouldn't have known anything. Where or which power cart, where the 1st tee is, any course or facility info. 2nd was the beverage cart. Friendly and somewhat efficient. Saw her twice on front 9, but then nothing. If she was in fact going off shift, saying that to patrons would go a long way. I believe, this is just lack of training. Great day otherwise. Would i return? Probably. I enjoy the place.

We had to play the second 9 behind a group of 5 moving slowly! Phoned the course to be told an employee had joined the group to make 5. Nothing changed and when we complained after, the guy in charge was rude. He said it was fine because the 5 claimed they kept up with the group in front. This was not true. Other issues too. Bush league operation. Will not return. Lots of better golf options in the area.
Played on Friday August 1st. Course in great shape. Very confusing as no course maps on scorecard, play was slow due to 2 4somes ahead of us decided to play as an 8some. No Marshall on course. Had to wait on them for 25 minutes on 10. Lunchtime in grille is good but not great. Grille staff was excellent with customer service. Not planning to replay this course on this vacation
I was really disappointed by how things were handled after our visit to Shuswap National. The course itself is beautiful, but the experience was soured by how staff—particularly Brody—approached a supposed damage issue. There was very little communication, no real explanation, and we were suddenly facing a large bill. One of the charges included a “bag magnet replacement” for a cart that was working perfectly fine when we left. It felt like a stretch, if not a clear upcharge. The whole process lacked professionalism and left a very bad impression. We expected better from a course with this reputation.

Ordered dinner as we were passing through Salmon Arm BC. We ordered through door dash and they were great! However there was no cutlery and our Caesar salad had no dressing on it at all. When we called they said we should contact door dash. Why?! They did nothing wrong. This was all on the restaurant. Panago is no longer an option for us.
Great experience being there. Loads of toppings, warm greeting. Oh I loved their crust. As soon as I entered, a girl helped me selecting me a vegetarian pizza. While removing and adding toppings, she also asked me having any allergy concerns or making concerns, which I really liked.

It’s been years since I had a Panago pizza so I stopped in to order. First thing I noticed was how clean and bright it was. Second was the very friendly greeting. I ordered my steak mushroom melt and went to do some grocery shopping. Shopping done and I picked up the best pizza I’ve had in a long time. Crisp crust and loads of toppings. That and a drink for $10. Excellent customer service.
This Panago is my new favourite spot to stop in for a treat. No more drive-thru’s for me!
If you're hungry for pizza and in Salmon Arm, this is the place. Right on highway 1 across from the A&W. It's take out although they do have stools and ledge along the window. No washrooms. Their pizza is so delicious. Love the crust and they don't skimp on the toppings and cheese. You can call ahead or stop in. Friendly service and really quick. Not hard on the pocketbook either. What more can I say except it's great pizza.

The new owners are very difficult to deal with! We used to order every week and will now take our business somewhere else! They would only deal with etransfer not credit card, this was very strange! I found them rude and really did not care how good of customers we are!
They also messed up the middle schools long standing pizza order that they get every Thursday which left all the kids without lunch because they did not deliver. Panago has been dealing with our schools in our district for years and within a month in new owners they screw up and did not deliver. The school has now found a new pizza company to deal with. We will not be using Panago in Salmon Arm ever again!

Canooligans' is a pet-friendly restaurant located in Canoe Cove, PE, offering a special menu for dogs called the Puppy Bowl. The human menu includes nachos, salads, tacos, hot dogs, fried chicken, burgers, pizzas and desserts. The place has efficient counter service and a fun decor with a generously sized patio. It's highly recommended to start with the fries and canoe sauce while perusing the menu.
We had a large family get together (12), and the staff handled our orders perfectly not one mistake. The server was wonderful; polite, patient and helpful.

I heard a lot of positive feedback about Canooligans’, so I thought I go there for dinner during my stay in Shuswap. The restaurant was not too busy when we arrived and was free to dine wherever.
I ordered the Glorias Bowl with the Tropical Punch cocktail. The entrée was pretty good, although the bowl could have used more tahini dressing. I did like the crispy tofu that the entrée came with. My friend ordered the quesadillas and gave me a piece to try. It was okay to say the least. The Tropical Punch was terrific with its vibrant flavours and was worth the price.
The inside of Canooligans’ has a lot of attractive décor, from a hanging canoe with lights attached to it to an album cover collage on one entire wall. The staff did a solid good job serving us and can find no complaints about their performance.
Overall, this is a pretty good restaurant with an interesting menu and aesthetic. I hope to come back there to try something more memorable.

💛💛💛💛💛 loved our meal at Canooligans! We were visiting the area on holiday and decided to check out this fun looking restaurant. We were served by the owner himself, he recommend a few things and we loved it all. The smash burgers were incredible, and the chicken burger was unreal.
They have a pet friendly patio and a special pup dish as well!
If you’re looking for a fun place and good meal this is the place. We were also told they often have live music as well.

Waited for 10 minutes for breakfast sandwichs, when I received them they were cold, the server didn't seem to care at all when I said they were cold. He just stared at me and walked away. Service and quality of Tim Hortons products jas taken a nose dive in the past ten years, absolutely no care of concern for customer service, people who you cannot understand in the drive thru. And the general cleanliness of Tim Horton outlets. Proud Canadian company, that's a laugh. Start hiring canadians before claiming to be a canadian company and expecting canadians to support your business when you don't seem to support canadians. As always walking into the restaurant there's an obvious bias in hiring practices. The only reason I was there was it was the only place accessible to me, Tim Hortons, no matter which one in which province is never a first choice for me, it's a choice of last resort, I do everything I can not to support a company that does not support the neighborhoods they are in. In short Tim Hortons is abusing the temporary workers visas to save on wages and avoid hiring from the group of people who you expect to support your business.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I felt the need to share my experience. Me and my family stopped by her after our camping and we ordered a decaf coffee and saw the guy putting some hot water in it declaring it a “decaf” so I asked him if it is espresso decaf and he responded that it is a decaf espresso because they don’t have brewed decaf.
I mean isn’t it a courtesy to let the customers know that??? And when we said we don’t want it he said sarcastically that he will give us refund. I mean he better be!! We didn’t want espresso decf in the first place.
Ridiculous customer service!!! They should train their staff more or maybe just stay home if you don’t feel like working

I have already been to PJ's twice and I love it as my go-to dine-in restaurant. I have to drive a little far to get there, but it is worth it. They serve a variety of great entrees, including dinner choices. If I have one complaint about the food, it is that the coffee is a little bland, but that is it. Highly recommend this place.
My sister, myself and my brother in law visited this restaurant on Monday June 3. We had the most amazing service!!!!! I can't express enough how absolutely spectacular the staff was from the moment we walked in until the moment we left the restaurant. On top of that, their food and prices are amazing! Personally all I wanted was dessert so they told me about the cinnamon buns which were fantastic and my dutch heritage loved that it was under $5!😜

Stopped in on my way back to Calgary and had the forager bowl. The woman at the front was so friendly and helpful! The bowl itself was DELICIOUS. They didn’t have the mushroom gravy so they used pesto instead and it was the best. thing. ever. The entire atmosphere is so amazing and the decorations and way it looks is sooo beautiful!! I would go here every day if I could.

Two women actually came in right after us and left after not being helped.. We drove from Kamloops just to eat here, so it was a little disappointing. They do have great reviews so we're hoping it'll be better next time!
My husband and I stopped here a couple of times while driving by Salmon Arm. It’s delicious. Usually falafel is dry without much flavour but here it is great. From now on we’ll always make an excuse to stop in Salmon Arm.

We decided to eat here while we were bowling on our holiday. The food was fantastic and the staff was friendly. They served us our food right on the bowling alley so we enjoyed supper while bowling for a whole fun experience! The servings were quite large for the price. Best lamb madras I’ve had in more than 30 years! When the reviews said “went bowling nearby and popped in” I didn’t realize it was actually at a bowling alley. Food is amazing, Salmon Arm you’re so lucky to have these folks nearby!
Lovely find on our travels. The owner was very kind and accommodating. Great food and great value. We managed to get two separate meals out of one order, so this made it very economical. Mango Lassi was amazing.
On our trip to Kamloops we had to do a stop over. Hungry we looked for a place that brings flavour and service. We stopped by and not surprised flavours were there.

I tried the vermicelli noodles, the spring rolls, and the salad rolls, all of which were so delicious. Not to mention the amounts and proportions were great for the price! I was also pleasantly surprised to be served my bubble tea in a 100% compostable cup 😎 I will definitely be back to try the rest of their menu!
WOW! This restaurant has quickly topped our list of local favorites. Today we ordered the Shrimp Salad rolls and they were so fresh and delightful. We were happy to see large portion sizes and a delicious peanut sauce. Fresh flavors and ingredients put this place far above the rest!

It is the best Vietnamese resturant in Salmon Arm by far and better then most in the Okanogan which I have tried most of them . So do yourself a favor and have this delicious Vietnamese cuisine.

Driving through as we made our way home from vacation and looking for something different to eat. We decided to check out The Yukon Smash and it did not disappoint. The food was excellent and the service was lovely. My family of 4 was happy!
Tip: If you don’t like saucy burgers, I’d suggest asking for light sauce. It’s pretty saucy!

I’m a burger nut, and the Yukon Smash absolutely delivered. It’s easily one of the best smash burgers I’ve had.
The bun is incredibly soft, the grease level is just right, and they nail the caramelization without drying out the patty. It stays juicy, flavorful, and balanced from the first bite to the last.
What really stood out, though, was the staff. Everyone took the time to create a genuine experience. They look you in the eye, have real conversations, and make you feel like more than just another customer. That kind of hospitality is rare and really appreciated.
If you’re into burgers, this spot is definitely worth checking out.

Guests from all over the country kept saying they’d never had burgers like these before — juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Everyone loved them so much that one guest even took on a five-stack burger! Fun, delicious, and unforgettable — Yukon Smashburger is a must if you want to wow your guests.
This place is rocking! Great burgers. Even on Monday night they had great music going and a steady stream of customers. They are far enough off the highway that the music drowns out that noise. Loads of parking. Henry recommends adding European frankfurters to the menu.
Having been to several “best smash burger in town” places across Canada now. I have to say that maybe I am the problem and I just don’t really get smash burgers. It’s an okay burger. Fries taste exactly like Costco fries. The portion was quite huge. Couldn’t finish the fries at all. Amazing views though.

Some other pizza places you get a big bite of sauce and hate it, but the love and care these cooks put into the amazing pizza sauce is clear to see. The sauce is DELICIOUS. I am so happy to have tried these folks out and will be supporting this excellent local business for years to come.

The pizza and cheese was burnt. We ordered 2 14” pizzas and both were overcooked. Customer Service was none existent, as the lady at the till didn’t make any greeting, zero eye contact with questionable responses; “Well, I don’t care how you pay…”. Pizza tasted somewhat good, but in a bigger market they would not last. Look elsewhere.

I didn’t have time to eat breakfast at my hotel, so I found this café nearby, and I’m so glad I did! The toast with salmon, avocado, egg, and greens was absolutely delicious! They serve coffee roasted right in the same city, which makes it special. The food here is genuinely tasty and worth the price.

I wanted to go to Gateway Café after all the positive things I had heard about the place. I was so glad that I did to today, along with take a look around the whole market itself. This business is separated from the café and the bakery.
I ordered the Breakfast Poutine with scramble eggs and a cappuccino. The cappuccino was fantastic, strong in earthy essence, smooth from the creamy milk. The poutine was spectacular and made me glad I ordered it. Every single ingredient in the dish was so piquant and fresh, including the tomatoes and potato tots. My mother enjoyed her BLT Croissant and coffee so much. I also tried the Apple Cinnamon Sourdough Muffin from the bakery, which was delicious and savoury. You would not even notice the sourdough in the muffin, which was a good thing for me.
Even though the dining area was in the middle of market hallway, the ambience was very calm and quiet enough to speak. I also loved the market décor and front exteriors of the other businesses surrounding the café’s tables.
I really like to come back to the Gateway Café again, so I could try more of their menu choices. I recommend this place highly to anyone for the best breakfast and/or lunch in Salmon Arm.

First time in years the machine didn't prompt for a tip , a very refreshing moment and the owner said " oh, we don't do that but Thankyou " , when pressed the owner said " we have a tip jar" into which i happily gave a generous tip.

Came here for breakfast with my family and our meals were all delicious. The food was hot and fresh. The hollandaise on the eggs Benedict was the best I have ever had. While the restaurant was open, the cafe with donuts was not opening for another hour. The owner was kind enough to let us in early to purchase some donuts. She was so kind and accommodating and the donuts were the best we have ever had.
Everything you could expect and more from a classic diner breakfast. Eggs were perfectly over medium for him. She was just amazed to find both avocado and smoked salmon on a benny. We'll be back.

The taste of all the meals at Weekends Restaurant & Lounge was excellent. However, the main course of steak was relatively small and did not come with a side dish. It would have been preferable if they had offered grilled vegetables or mashed potatoes considering its price of $29. To address remaining hunger, fries had to be ordered separately. Another disappointment was that the Maui ribs only came in a quantity of three pieces, an odd number for a shareable item.
We may have over ordered but every single thing on the short menu looked so appealing. We opened with the Edamame - perfection. We moved to steak poutine. Crazy good (in fact it’s a very messy photo because we dove in before I got a good photo) and then the roll. What can I say about the roll? It was epic! I wasn’t sure what to expect but it certainly wasn’t this crusty bead outside soft warm chewy deliciousness inside that we got. We had to take one home and we were sharing. We topped over with an order plain fries just to see - fabulous. Beers and a few new wine options and a huge new mural round out this new treat in downton Salmon Arm.

We frequent Weekends, Hanoi, and purchase Hanoi at Home products to support our local restauranteurs at every whim. In fact, this weekend alone we did take out for 10 on Friday and then had friends from out of town to Weekends on Saturday night which is where my disappointment comes in.
Upon arrival to the restaurant we were greeted by a polite young lady, who informed us service would be slow this evening because it was only her and the chef in the kitchen... Sure, no problem - we were then promptly informed our table of 6 will be subject to a 20% gratuity, again, no problem. A little odd to tell us it's going to be slow, and you're going to have to pay for it but I appreciate the transparency.
We order a round of drinks as the young lady ends up literally running around the restaurant to try and get our drinks made, and take care of the other five tables. She delivers the cocktails one by one, and we cheers each time, letting her know it's fine and we're having fun with it.
She then drops off the last few cocktails and says, "oh by the way, this was the first time I've made an espresso martini I hope it's okay. I had to google it." Well that's odd, it's a signature cocktail of the establishment. You would think there's a recipe to go along with it.
One of our friends from out of town could not tolerate the amount of syrup or sugar in his martini, and decided to order a heineken on tap instead. A few of our party members thought that was a good idea, to keep it simple and easy for the young lady. She came back with one pint, and informed us the Keg was empty, and no one could change it because the Chef was busy. Find, bottles it will be for a couple others and nothing for the rest of us.
At this point we felt like we were being more than accommodating, and understanding. The meals started rolling out, and our out of town friends were once again left disappointed with saltless, french fries (bad start) and a relatively small steak sandwich that was "just okay". Alright I guess not every night is a winner.
We finish our meal, my friends still full espresso martini is sitting there and the young woman came over to calculate who had what bottle of beer and add it to their bill, I asked if there was any way she could void the espresso martini she had admitted she didn't know how to make, and was deemed undrinkable, since we were paying a 20% gratuity and had been so accommodating.
This is where this review comes into play.
She seemed flustered, and went to check with the kitchen to see what she could do to comp the $15 cocktail, came back, and told us that she could not comp the cocktail, and was just going to pay for it out of her tips.
When we asked why that was, we told her it was plain to see she had not been trained appropriately for her position in the restaurant. Understandable, staffing issues happened. When asked when her training was going to take place, she said she didn't know because the owners are really busy.
They're so busy with both restaurants, going to Vancouver, and doing the Hanoi at Home that they haven't had time to train her, but it's okay, because she's really grateful to them for the opportunity.
Well I'm sorry, but that's bullshit. We're paying full price, for inadequate service, whatever liquor was thrown into a cup and called a martini, and now the excuse is because the owners have stretched themselves too thin trying to chase fame and profit.
We felt bad, tipped the girl on top of the 20% that was automatically on our bill so she didn't have to be out anything at the end of the night, and I guess now we move on and wish the owners well in their endeavors.
We won't be back, but hopefully this is a wake up call that is sorely needed before these former gems fall out of more local favor.

The door, when opening it, makes a strange sound, like the door is scraping. We ordered 3 meals and were very disappointed. No real flavor in the chicken breading crust. The sauces they coated some of the meals in were gross. Cauliflower tasted good for a few bites. Popcorn chicken was mostly batter and fries were just OK. The worst thing on the menu was their Mac & Cheese. Over cooked and watery. Could only handle one bite. Location was very loud as they were calling out the orders ready to be picked up at the counter. Dirty windows, flies landing on you and your food. Won't be coming back.
It was fantastic. Wonderful people and service. We came in late and we were aloud to stay a little longer to finish out food. While finishing our food, we had lovely conversations and wonderful interaction with the crew. They were finishing and cleaning and we had fun while eating.

Unfortunately the owners ran this one to the ground. Stay away to avoid cross contamination. Pretty sure nobody here washes their hands or have food safe. We go to other Popyes that are clean in other cities.
I very often call ahead to order a couple pieces of spicy chicken, made fresh. They always do it for me, even if it’s right before they close. They’re all so kind, food is always delicious and of course fresh. I would recommend a tip button on the debit machine. Not a lot of people pack around cash, and if someone wants to tip, there is no tip option on the machine.
