Barbecue restaurant
Nestled in the heart of Alpharetta's historic downtown, Smokejack BBQ is housed in a charming 180-year-old property and offers a cozy atmosphere for indulging in Southern comfort food. Since its establishment in 2004, this brick bar and grill has been serving up fresh, upscale Southern-style dishes and perfectly barbecued meats. The dining room boasts a stylish yet inviting ambiance with restored brickwork and modern design elements.
After a very cold day in Atlanta, we decided on dinner with the kids at Smoke Jack, and we’re so glad we chose this place. No reservations are needed, and even though it was crowded when we arrived, they quickly found us a table. Ellie, who took care of us, was so warm and friendly – I wish every server could be as genuine as her. As for the food, two of us had chicken wings, and the other had the Triple B burger, which comes with an Angus beef patty, smoked beef brisket, bacon, lettuce, and cheddar. I chose French fries as a side, and the others went with mac and cheese. For an appetizer, we ordered nachos. We finished everything, and both the food and the service were excellent. I highly recommend it – we felt right at home!

Smokejack BBQ looks like a classy spot from the outside—and it absolutely delivers once you’re inside. I ordered the Holy Trinity platter (ribs, brisket, and smoked sausage) with a mix of sides, and everything hit the mark. The brisket was moist, flavorful, and perfectly smoked. The ribs were tender with tons of flavor, and the sausage really surprised me—great taste with that satisfying snap. As for the sides: the beans were solid, the mac and cheese was just okay, but the potato salad and corn pudding were both really good. Service was top notch—friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Overall, this is great BBQ done right. Definitely worth a stop, and I’ll be coming back for more.

Good food, great vibes. Had the burnt ends with a side of broccoli salad and corn pudding because I saw a bunch of people recommend it, and the meal did not disappoint. The burnt ends were perfectly crisp and tender, with the bitter char balancing the sweet bbq sauce. The corn pudding was soft and velvety, and the broccoli salad crunchy and satisfying. Overall, it was a delicious meal. Additionally, parking is conveniently located in a lot around the building.

Today I experienced a travel in BBQ!!! I am new to bbq and reviews but, my wife and I decided to come here. Once we walked in the door the smell was fantastic. Our server greeted us with the biggest smile and southern welcome…Tara was her name. She introduced us to what was the best menu I have ever seen. We ordered the “Holy Trinity”… the meat was fantastic as was the incredible sides. She recommended “Hot Honey” for our corn pudding… it was amazing! The collard greens were delicious! I have never tasted “Burnt Ends Sausage”, but Tara recommended it and it was complete heaven. This New Jersey Boy was flabbergasted! Thank you for a great taste of Bbq. Thank you “Tara”…. We will definitely come back!

I’m not a fan of BBQ, my husband is but I can always find something for myself at Smokejack BBQ. This time I tried their Blueberry Habanero Mojo Smoked Wings and talk about finger licking flavor. They could have been spicier but the blueberry flavor was 100% satisfying. My husband got the pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw, both were just okay. We also love the location of the restaurant as it’s a great way for us to get out to eat but also enjoy downtown Alpharetta which is always a vibe on a Friday & Saturday night.
Kimberly F — Google review
Hands down the best bbq in metro Atl. The food was savory and smoky. They have burnt ends which is typically hard to find. The brisket was very tender and juicy and you get a lot of food for what you pay for. The fried pickles were extremely crispy and well seasoned
Weyman H — Google review
This was my first time getting southern barbecue. The food was phenomenal and Terri was incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, and kind. She took great care of detail and made sure we understood all of Smokejack’s options and steered us in the right direction! She made our experience and will be coming back next time I’m in Alpharetta and will recommend to all my friends and family!

Tara gave our table some of the best service we have had in a long time. She explained the menu and schooled us on the best BBQ we have had. Drinks were on point, We had “The Jack”… and everything was pure perfection. Bbq with the southern hospitality that Tara showed us was top notch h. We will definitely be back!

Creole restaurant
If you're yearning for a taste of the Louisiana Bayou without leaving Georgia, look no further than Flatlands Bourbon and Bayou in Historic Downtown Alpharetta. This charming eatery exudes warmth and hospitality, serving up traditional Cajun and Creole dishes that transport you straight to the heart of Louisiana. Start your culinary adventure with tantalizing alligator bites or crispy catfish nuggets before diving into hearty main courses like crawfish etouffee or creamy shrimp and grits.
Parking was super convenient, with plenty of spaces available on both sides of the restaurant. The seating options were great—cozy indoors and a really nice outdoor area if you prefer dining outside. We ordered the alligator bites appetizer plus Jambalaya, pork ribeye steak, fried basket, and the burger—and every single dish was absolutely delicious! Each plate was packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. It’s rare to have four different dishes all be this good, but they nailed it. Our server was incredibly nice and sweet, which made the whole experience even better. Friendly, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish. We’ll definitely be coming back again. Highly recommend!
Mena — Google review
My boyfriend and I were visiting from out of town & wanted some catfish. As I was doing my google restaurant search, I came across this place. The reviews are 100% accurate. It is super cozy & homelike upon arriving. I like how small it is as it makes it a more intimate setting. There was parking right by the door as well. There were so many options on the menu, that I didn’t even know what to pick. All sounded so good. I got the crawfish mac & cheese and it was perfectly creamy, cheesy , and delicious. As far as my meal, I got the blackened catfish, shrimp, and sweet potato risotto. The seafood was grilled to perfection along with their sauces making it more flavorful. I also love how it is freshly cooked to order. For the season & dessert, I got the pumpkin stuffed beignets. Sweet but not overly sweet and the whip cream made it better. I can’t wait to come back as the service was great. And the staff was friendly.
Kaira S — Google review
This was a fun spot that my daughters loved more than me. It had a fun pond with fish and alligator statues they enjoyed talking to. We sat outside, and it was lovely minus the flies. The drinks were ok.. I ordered drinks from the menu and I believe that the drinks must be made in batches. And when I ordered a drink off the menu, it was much better. So I would suggest ordering something you know you like off menu when you drink a cocktail. Food was great! People were great. Id go again but maybe just cause the girls loved playing around the pond for a bit while we waited for the food.
Eric G — Google review
Hard to decide what to eat. It all sounded so good and as we looked at other plates we wanted to try theirs too. Add the gumbo to whatever you choose and you will leave happy. The best Cajun meal I have ever had outside of Louisiana.
Herbster T — Google review
The food here was excellent, really enjoyed the crab dip and shrimp alfredo pasta. Both came out hot and quick. Service was awesome, and the restaurant itself was well decorated. Parking was easily accessible, also had a nice garden/pond out front.
Spandan M — Google review
Atmosphere was great! Definitely feels like you’re in the heart of New Orleans. The sweet tea was very good. Spicy gumbo was delicious. Crawfish Mac and cheese was good but could’ve used some seasoning. And the winner of the night was the PRALINE BEIGNETS! Absolute chefs kiss!! Will be back just for the beignets and the cute cups!!
Briana N — Google review
Flatlands Bourbon & Bayou: Bring a Bib and Some Self-Control Listen… that BBQ hot sauce on the catfish nuggets? Life-changing. I was this close to asking for the recipe, the bottle, AND the chef. The fried goat cheese with honey? Sweet, salty, and straight-up addictive. He had the Catfish Pontchartrain with dirty rice and said it needed “a little more seasoning.” I told him to hush and let the flavor speak for itself. I had the Louisiana Fried Chicken with red beans & rice, Cajun street corn, and that sweet potato brown sugar risotto, because carbs don’t count when they taste like heaven. Dessert? Bread pudding and praline-stuffed beignets: soft, sugary, and worth unbuttoning your jeans for. Our waitress was a whole vibe, the food was chef’s kiss, and yes… it was worth every dime.
Rebecca H — Google review
Flatlands Bourbon and Bayou: Southern Comfort Meets Louisiana Soul If you’re craving that deep, soulful Southern flavor with a touch of Louisiana charm, Flatlands Bourbon and Bayou is the spot. From the moment we sat down, the vibe was warm, the cocktails were flowing, and the food? Unforgettable. Let’s start with the star of the night, the catfish nuggets. Crispy, tender, and paired with the most delicious BBQ hot sauce we’ve ever tasted. Shonda was this close to asking for a bottle to take home. (Flatlands, please sell it by the jar, you’ve got something special there!) Then came the fried goat cheese drizzled with honey: sweet, tangy, and downright addictive. If heaven had an appetizer menu, this would be on it. For entrées, he went for the Catfish Pontchartrain with dirty rice. The flavors were rich, though he thought it could’ve used just a touch more seasoning to really make it sing. Still, a solid, hearty plate. She ordered the Louisiana Fried Chicken, perfectly crisp and juicy, with sides that deserve their own spotlight: red beans & rice, Cajun street corn, and the unexpected showstopper, sweet potato & brown sugar risotto. Creamy, sweet, and soul-warming, this dish alone is worth the trip. Dessert sealed the deal. The bread pudding was soft and buttery, while the praline-stuffed beignets were pure decadence, like New Orleans met a sugar dream and decided to stay awhile. Our waitress was phenomenal: attentive, kind, and genuinely excited about the menu (and that energy made the experience even better). Final Verdict: Worth every dime. Flatlands Bourbon and Bayou is where comfort food meets class, and every bite feels like a Southern hug. We’ll be back — and next time, we’re leaving with a bottle of that BBQ hot sauce.

South Main Kitchen is a charming and stylish establishment that offers a modern twist on traditional Southern cuisine. The menu features comforting classics with a contemporary flair, ensuring a delightful dining experience for all. Situated in downtown Alpharetta, GA, this rooftop eatery provides a relaxed atmosphere perfect for a pleasant date night. One must-try dish is the delectable Brussels sprouts appetizer, expertly prepared to satisfy your taste buds.
This place is everything you are looking for! Great food, friendly staff, huge selection of whiskey and hand crafted cocktails, and the ambiance is perfect for a date, a friend /family gathering, or even for a corporate meeting. Lots of seating inside and outside. They also have this amazing rooftop over the back patio. Last Saturday, they had a DJ playing deep house music on that rooftop, and we got to dance and meet new people of the community. The night was a blast! What a great summer vibe! ☀️ It's definitely a go-to place in Downtown Alpharetta 👌

Nice place for dinner. I went with some peers from work and we decided to eat on the patio since the weather was good. All of us enjoyed our food and drinks very much. It was all of our first time going there and we surely would enjoy going again. Service was average but good.
Joyrina H — Google review
Very cute little place. We sat out on the patio in the alley. We came for dinner, but they were out of a few options, so I ordered a few side dishes and my friend ordered the burger. The Brussel sprouts were so delicious, I’m not sure what sauce they add but it is 10/10. The deviled eggs were also absolutely delicious. The fries were ok, and the only complaint I had was the ranch was very very liquidy. The drink was good but not worth the price imo. Definitely would come back for the appetizers.

We had a nice dinner at the South Main Kitchen. The location has an amazing ambient, friendly service and incredible food. Absolutely worth every dollar.

We dropped in on a Tuesday night. There was no wait. It was busy. The atmosphere and set up is great. Service was solid. The cocktail menu was top knotch. The menu is electric and a mix that had an amazing set of presentations. Didn't personally love the flavors as the hanger steak was a bit fatty but it was a good evening.

Love this place! We came to South Main Kitchen for a bachelorette dinner. The food was great the service as well. There are plenty of options for everyone and the portions are large so you wont leave hungry that's for sure!

Another fabulous Easter meal at South Main kitchen. We had a last-minute change in our reservation and they seated us early early with no issues. They were very busy. Food was top quality. Bacon was crispy as requested. A manager stopped by and checked on our meal. This is why we keep coming back here high-quality food and high-quality service!

I've been here for both dinner and Sunday Brunch and everything I've tried has been amazing. Most recently, we had their Brussel Sprouts and Pimento Cheese appetizers, and I had their Vegetable Hash (I added a grilled chicken breast). It was delicious, cooked perfectly, and everything went well together. Also, they make a Black Walnut Old Fashioned and it is the best I've ever had.

New American restaurant
Restaurant
Local Expedition Wood Fired Grill is a delightful husband-and-wife venture that brings a fresh twist to New American cuisine. Nestled in Alpharetta, GA, this eatery offers an inviting atmosphere where you can enjoy wraps, salads, and sides crafted from locally sourced ingredients. The menu features an exciting array of dishes inspired by global flavors—think wood-grilled pork and vibrant street corn alongside falafels and clear Asian noodles.
Local Expedition Wood Fired Grill in Alpharetta is a hit with my family! We love the smoky flavor of their chicken, and pulled pork, the street corn, and all the sides. It's a small but cozy spot with a delicious smell of smoke and the grill. Ordering at the kiosk is super convenient and fast.
Hector R — Google review
I had dinner at a local wood-fire grill recently and my experience was just average. I ordered the chicken plate, and while the grilled flavor was noticeable, the overall taste was underwhelming. My friend got the chicken wrap, and it unfortunately lacked any flavor at all. On a positive note, the fries were delicious, but the portion size was quite small, which was a disappointment. The food was okay, but it definitely wasn't anything special. Based on the food, I'd give it 3 stars.
Moh'd H — Google review
Lovely little place. I had a salad. The dressing is absolutely delicious and the lettuce is crunchy.
Slanders P — Google review
This is a great locally owned restaurant especially if you want a fast and clean eating experience for a lunch time break. This place gets very very busy around lunch time and you can see why. The food is fresh and fast cooked in front of your eyes and prepared for you as you watch. Wood Fired Grill how's the basic premise, epic the plate you want whether it be an entree and signs, a wrap or a salad. Then you pick your protein. And off you go. Play also have vegetarian options if you have dietary restrictions within your group. When we went there was a line and the restaurant was full love diners. We were able to order and get our food within a few minutes brought out to our table. You have your choice of drinks and then you pay as well as getting a choice of sauces to go with your meal. One person in my group ordered a hummus plate as a vegetarian option. This dish came out with plenty of pita bread and generous portion of hummus. Another person ordered grilled chicken as their protein with two sides. When you look at the list of signs that are available you have to then verify that those sides are available that day. There's also a daily specials as well for the sides. So sometimes ordering off the menu Isn't a possibility if that particular side is not available. This happened with this order, the original side chosen was not available and so they went with steamed broccoli. This came with rice, steamed broccoli and a generous portion of chicken breast that was grilled as we watched. This also come with pita. The southwestern salad with grilled chicken was a generous size salad and came with to dressing containers. It was a good balance of chicken to salad ratio. The southwestern components included tortilla strips, corn, beans, and pickled jalapenos on one of their regular salads. Well I could use a little bit more dressing for my particular taste, I enjoyed the solid and left the feeling filled as well as having eaten a clean fresh healthy lunch. The atmosphere can be a little overwhelming because it is a small location especially at lunch with the large crowd of people trying to get their meals. The surface is fast so don't worry about the wait times. It's in a very busy area of Alpharetta off of Windward Parkway so it is hard to find parking in the very small and cramped parking lot for the strip of stores. If you are driving their plan to spend some time looking for a parking spot
James W — Google review
Delicious food. Highly recommend. We both loved our meal. Wrap and plate were wonderful. Portobello mushroom plate was amazing.
Sales J — Google review
I tried this place many years ago and had to return. The food is still fresh and delicious but not overly flavored. The smoked pulled pork was tender with just the right amount of smokiness. The wings are always delicious. But the highlight was the carrots. Juicy with a good balance of savory and sweetness. You can't go wrong with the Hummus plate, either. Just the right amount of food, and the staff is friendly. Parking is a nightmare, though as it is enclosed with a tight outlet to the side of the building.

We have used Local Expedition Wood Fired Grill for several years now for our end of season soccer banquet. The food is always delicious and the service is always great! In addition to using their catering service multiple times, our family frequents the restaurant because we love it so much. Even though it is not close to our house, it is worth the drive.

I wish for all my friends & family to try this food :) * Halal chicken & beef * Thai Iced tea was one of the best i’ve had * Chicken Satay was fire; I could drink a liter of the peanut sauce * Calamari was nice and crispy on the outside; chewy on the inside * Tom Yum soup is good if you want something tangy * Lump crab curry was only okay; I think you might as well get a curry entree * Pad Kee Mao (get with beef!) was flavorful * Basil fried rice stood out among all dishes! * Red curry (level 3/4 spicy) had the right amount of kick * Jumbo prawns were whatever; the green curry was fire tho * The coconut cake was light and refreshing… * …though if you’re doing dessert, the mango sticky rice is king! Creamy, sweet, and even a bit salty. * Service was attentive and always with a smile :)

It was a celebration visit for my birthday and it was truly special 🎂🎉 The drinks are so well designed and out of the world 🙃 they just mesmerized me 🥹 We ordered the pan fried Chilean sea bass . We stopped into Nahm last-minute on a busy evening with no reservation and were seated immediately—such a pleasant surprise! From start to finish, the service was outstanding: polite, friendly, and welcoming without ever feeling rushed. Drinks were beautifully presented with thoughtful garnishes, adding an extra touch of elegance. Every dish we ordered was absolutely delicious, but the standout was the Ka-Nom Jeen Jumbo Lump Crab Curry—an absolute must-try. Perfectly balanced flavors, generous portions of crab, and a level of quality you can taste. Nahm delivers an exceptional dining experience, and we’ll definitely be back!

The menu boasts an impressive array of prime steaks and delectable seafood options, all crafted by skilled chefs who showcase their culinary talents in an open kitchen setting.
What an absolutely fantastic place for dinner! The service is top notch and the food is off the chain hook. I was too busy eating to capture my perfectly cooked filet but I did happen to capture Bananas Foster being made tableside. Stop in for one of the best steaks around or grab a cigar at the bar. They have a nice selection to choose from or you can bring your own.

First time here. Great lunch menu! Good food & portion sizes for the price. We will be back to try dinner. Update: my husband and I came back for dinner this time we sat in the bar. It’s a smoking bar, which doesn’t bother us. The service was good. We tried the Caesar salad, ribeye steak, au gratin potatoes and the pork chop with sweet potato. Everything was good.
Kristen T — Google review
Went here for a work dinner and I must say I was a bit disappointed. The service was great and our server was very nice. The atmosphere was slightly upscale steakhouse and quiet. I like how their smoking area was completely closed off so you couldn’t smell any smoke, but I felt like the restaurant was a little too dark. Food wise, I got a Cesar salad, 8oz filet medium rare, and sides to share with the table. The salad was very good. The steak was cooked as I liked, but it had hardly any flavor. I also got the peppercorn sauce on the side and it was eh. The Brussels sprouts are Devine! The mashed potatoes are great, the twice baked potato is really good, but the potato’s Au gratin were bland. I got a key lime pie for dessert and it was not very good. My drink was an espresso martini, which they add baileys to and it was actually very good. I would go back again to try something else to eat before I say I’d never go back.
Brooke F — Google review
Great atmosphere and service and had excellent experience for my birthday dinner. Only disappointment would be the quality of NY strip steak. It’s not the quality we expected / use to. The steak was on the thinner side and it wasn’t as tender / fresh. Still had very good time. The crème brûlée desert was on the house which is nice and appreciated.
IRINA S — Google review
Inappropriate Waiter and Unprofessional Experience My family and I had reservations for a birthday dinner, our first visit to your restaurant. Our waiter was an older gentleman with a Spanish accent who mentioned he was from Colombia or Venezuela. From the beginning, he seemed confident and playful, but his behavior quickly became inappropriate. After I asked two simple questions about the menu, he returned to the table and said, “I have answered your ten thousand questions, and I think I did well. Now I want you to answer me a question.” He then turned to my husband, whose birthday we were celebrating, and said, “Tell me his favorite dessert besides you.” This was said in front of my father, my children, and my husband, who is their stepdad. It was an offensive and extremely uncomfortable comment that had no place in any restaurant, let alone one of your quality. We were all stunned and tried to move on, but it ruined the tone of the evening. He didn't stop the entire evening. When our food arrived, everything else was excellent. However, my steak, which I ordered medium rare, was overcooked and too tough to chew. When I called the waiter over, he insisted it was medium rare. Everyone at the table disagreed. Instead of taking it to the kitchen, he brought the plate to an empty table nearby, turned on his phone flashlight, and examined the steak there as if to prove me wrong. It felt disrespectful and unnecessary. He did eventually bring me a replacement steak, which was cooked perfectly and was one of the best I have had in Georgia. Passing by, he added the comment, "We stopped the whole kitchen to fix your steak!" RUDE!!!!! The damage was done. His attitude and inappropriate comments overshadowed the entire evening. The food was outstanding, but this waiter’s behavior was unprofessional and unacceptable. I hope this is addressed seriously, because no guest should be made to feel embarrassed or disrespected in your restaurant. Unacceptable Date of service 10-2-25, 6 pm

Cabernet is the best steak house on the north side of Atlanta (in the top 5 of all Atlanta). The service, management, and food all top notch. While I don’t smoke Cabernet has one of the few smoking bars in the city ( area is separated and air filtered so no impact to the dining area). Food is spectacular and the chef and staff are eager to please. Also has a great wine club run by the restaurant’s manager Jason. One of my favorite restaurants.

Cabernet is a solid choice for anyone looking for an elevated dining experience. The menu is focused on steak, but there are seafood and other options as well. The wine list is complete and the bar ready to provide your favorite cocktail. It has been a staple in the north Fulton area for some time. Put it in your rotation for a special date night.

Never again for us!! From salad to very over cooked lobster, stuffed with a gross lump crab stuffing it was horrible. We ordered hot spinach salad. The spinach had brown spots throughout. Way too much dressing. More like a spinach salad soup. Kitchen staff and head chef definitely need some supervision. This restaurant has an enclosed cigar bar. Exhaust system had been forgotten to be turned on. The dining room was full of the heavy oder of cigar. Just a horrible experience. We will NOT recommend this restaurant or return.

Superica is a trendy country-style establishment that offers sophisticated Texan cuisine with a touch of Mexican influence. Renowned chef Kevin Maxey and Ford Fry have teamed up to bring this culinary gem to Alpharetta at the Avalon. Whether you're on a casual date or enjoying a meal with your family, Superica's delectable Southwestern dishes are sure to satisfy.
I went here late on a Saturday night and only had to wait 15 minutes for a table. Once we were seated, the service was really good. I split the large parilla mixta (steak + chicken) fajitas, they were delicious! They are served with lots of toppings and rice and beans family style. The flour tortillas seemed house made, and that really made a difference. We were offered corn tortillas as well. The decor creates a fun dining atmosphere, I would definitely recommend dining at Superica!

Went for lunch on a weekday. The wait was longer than anticipated. Staff friendly. We were quickly brought delicious chips (fresh and perfectly salted) and salsa. Lunch specials are good- you pick 2 for $15.99. Food is always tasty. I left full! Some outdoor seating. Important to note parking is challenging at Avalon.

The atmosphere here is really nice—relaxed and welcoming, making it a great spot to hang out with friends. The drinks were solid and definitely a highlight of the visit. As for the food, it didn’t quite live up to the rest of the experience. We ordered the shrimp tacos, and while they looked promising, they lacked flavor and didn’t quite hit the mark. Overall, it's a fun place to grab a drink and catch up, but I’d temper expectations on the food.
Ramyaanusha D — Google review
If you’re going, absolutely sit outside, as the exterior is absolutely conducive to enjoying a meal on a nice, sunny day. The star of the visit was our server, who was INCREDIBLY courteous. At one point, she went out of her way to suddenly and pointedly tell us not to eat the beans and rice that were brought for the table, She didn’t tell us why but then proceeded to bring out a new rice and beans that looked slightly different. I strongly believe she noticed that we’d all ordered vegetarian items earlier, and she thus had these remade without animal products. Genuinely, this gesture wowed me, and I wish I had her name to formally thank her for her profound kindness and professionalism! Prices were more-than-reasonable for the portion sizes, which were incredibly large! I ordered the Huevos Mexicanos, which came as a sky-high plate of scrambled eggs and looked as stunning as all the plates that came to the table. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to get much flavor or salt, though I think it’s because I removed cheese from the dish. Overall, this was such a memorable brunch because of the great company and phenomenal service on a beautiful day. Would recommend visiting!

Good, not great, with oddly too small drinks. We had to wait for about 20 minutes. It went quick. We are outside. It has a nice breeze coming through because of the layout through the buildings. We got the fajitas, tasted great. However it only comes with meat and onions, not peppers or other veggies, and we always remove the onions so there wasn't much there. The chips and salsa options were good and fun. I got the Texas margarita because it sounded interesting, but man that glass was small. I was surprised. It tasted alright, but wasn't my favorite flavor though nothing against it. I hesitated to order a custom one given what I just got so I decided on a draft beer. Geez. When that came out I thought I was in the shrunken world of Alice and wonderland. It just looked funny. Yeah I don't get it. The prices seemed high and the drinks seemed small. I won't go back probably but it wasn't bad by any means, I enjoyed it, I just don't understand some of the choices they made.

Persian restaurant
Restaurant
Rumi's Kitchen Avalon is a vibrant and contemporary dining destination that brings the rich flavors of Persian cuisine to life. Named after the renowned 13th-century poet Jelaluddin Rumi, this restaurant embodies his teachings of love and inner peace through its fresh, healthy dishes served in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Guests can indulge in delightful offerings like the Vegetable Kabob plate, which features an array of perfectly roasted vegetables bursting with flavor.
Our family lunch at Rumi’s Kitchen was absolutely exceptional. The warm and modern atmosphere created the perfect setting for our multi-generational gathering—my mom, brother, sister-in-law, their toddler, and me. Our waitress Lauren was phenomenal, showing genuine warmth and patience with our little one while providing attentive, personalized service that made us feel like cherished guests. The three-course meal was outstanding. We started with beautifully crafted mocktails and sodas, followed by perfectly prepared kabobs—tender lamb, flaky salmon, and succulent chicken that had us savoring every bite. But the best was saved for last. The finale was pure magic: delicate multi layered baklava paired with cardamom ice cream, plus a delightful ice cream sandwich sprinkled with saffron and cardamom bits. Rumi’s Kitchen delivered more than exceptional food—it provided an experience that brought our family together. Highly recommended for anyone seeking authentic Mediterranean flavors with heartfelt hospitality .

Rumi’s in Alpharetta offers great service and a beautiful atmosphere, but unfortunately, the pricing doesn’t match the portions. I ordered a single dish that cost $45, it was missing a lot of seasoning, and the portion was surprisingly small. For that price, I expected more. The staff was friendly and attentive, but I personally won’t be returning due to the lack of value. There are other spots in the area that offer a better balance of taste, service, and portion size.

I would have to say this is a top notch restaurant in a beautiful country suburb of Atlanta in Alpharetta. There is lots of high end shopping before or after your meal to explore. Our waiters were funominal and took every precaution for my two allergy not to cross contaminate. He was very professional, funominal etiquette, and took care of all four in the groups needs quickly. The chilan sea bass was funominal, moist, cooked to perfection. The rice was multi color and had raisins in it that went well with the sea bass. I also got the Greek salad with cucumbers, tomatoes, olives and olive oil. It reminded me being back in the Mediterranean like Greek Islands. They also had a special flat bread just for celiac guest to eat the delicious hummus with for an appetizer. My hats of to all the staff at this funominal restaurant. You Deserve the recognition on a while orchata straighten meal. Would I recommend this restaurant? Absolutely Would I return to this restaurant? Absolutely

Dining at Rumi’s Kitchen is more than a meal—it’s an experience steeped in tradition, hospitality, and refined taste. From the moment you’re seated, the ambiance sets the tone: warm lighting, polished service, and a menu that reads like a love letter to Persian cuisine. The barg kabob was tender and richly seasoned, paired with saffron rice that was fragrant and perfectly fluffed. The grilled tomato added a smoky balance, and the fresh herb platter—mint, radish, feta, walnuts—was a refreshing nod to classic Persian starters. Their Kashk Bademjan was a standout: creamy eggplant topped with crispy onions and herbs, layered with flavor and texture. Cocktails were artfully crafted, and the wine list offered thoughtful pairings. Service was impeccable—attentive, knowledgeable, and respectful of pace. Whether you’re dining indoors or enjoying the lively patio, the atmosphere is ideal for both intimate dinners and celebratory gatherings. Rumi’s Kitchen doesn’t just serve food—it honors heritage with every plate. Highly recommended for anyone seeking authentic Persian flavors in a sophisticated setting.

Nestled in the heart of Alpharetta, Crust Pasta & Pizzeria is a charming eatery that beautifully marries traditional Italian flavors with a modern twist. The restaurant boasts a cozy ambiance reminiscent of a Tuscan farmhouse, making it an ideal spot for casual lunches or family gatherings. Guests can indulge in an array of delectable options, from crispy antipasti like arancini di riso to fresh salads and hearty pasta dishes.
Crust is a nice restaurant placed at the end of the Alpharetta down town. The best part of being on corner is they have ample of parking which we do not get on Alpharetta downtown street. We had called before getting there .. which helped the staff to get our table ready. The ambience is good and so is food. Garlic knots, Thai pizza , ravioli and desserts were great. Service is great. It’s a must visit .

Went here today for the first time while running our errands. The service was great but what really stands out is the quality of the food. I have been to 47 states and 3 countries. So when I say that this Pizzeria is exceptional and is in the top 5 best Pizzerias that I have ever been to...I do not say that lightly. The garlic knots were easily the best garlic knots that I have ever had. The margherita was good but the Bianca Pizza dipped in the leftover Garlic Butter was not just the best White Pizza that I have had in my entire life but it was beyond divine. I can not express how incredible it was. Our only regret was not ordering a larger one! Even the host is one of the nicest ladies and the bathrooms were immaculate. I can't wait to return here to try their desserts and other food.

We were not disappointed and will definitely be back! This Sunday, we discovered this highly-rated restaurant on Google Maps and decided to give it a try. A word of advice: it's best to make a reservation for dinner, as we walked in without one. Parking: The complimentary valet parking is a great convenience. Atmosphere: The restaurant is beautiful and vibrant, with sophisticated decor. Even the restroom was impressively clean and had lovely lit candles, adding to the pleasant ambiance. Food: We absolutely loved the pizza we ordered; it was delicious and surprisingly light, leaving us satisfied but not heavy. The pasta is freshly made in-house, which is always a plus. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we look forward to returning with friends!

Omg yum! Had a great time.. went on a weeknight and it was busy but not uncomfortably so. Lovely ambiance & decor , food was great! We ordered burrata as an app, cocktails- pesca fizz (I had to force myself not to order it twice because it was so yummy) and gabana smash, main - black pepper tagliatelle.. I had to add a generous amount of salt to my pasta but outside of that it was flawless and I ate every last bite. Highly recommend 💖

The octopus was flavorful , I could taste the herbs . This was the best part of the dinner. Arugula salad was good and the ravioli has too much oil. The service was excellent. Parking can be a challenge as it is I Avalon but the valet which is complimentary is a huge plus.

We celebrated Brian’s 50th birthday at Colletta at Avalon, and it was nothing short of amazing! The atmosphere was beautiful, the food was absolutely incredible—especially the lasagna, which was hands down one of the best we’ve ever had. Dani took such great care of our group and made the evening feel truly special. The biggest surprise of the night? They gifted Brian an OakSip wooden whiskey glass—something we’ve never seen a restaurant do. It was such a thoughtful and memorable touch. If you haven’t been to Colletta yet, you’re missing out. Do yourself a favor and go—whether it’s a special occasion or just a night out, they know how to make it unforgettable. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I don’t even know where to begin with this review. Our expectations were exceeded over and beyond. This was our very first experience with Colletta’s. We were treated in a way only family members or life long friends would treat one another, like family! They celebrated with us and they bore our burden with us. It truly was an act of over the top hospitality. You can read about “over the top hospitality” in the book Unreasonable Hospitality or you can go to Collette’s and experience first hand! And the food was AMAZING and did not disappoint! Authentic Italian food through and through

Such a good spot. Really nice atmosphere and the did was great. We got the octopus, and it was a little chewy but the flavor was great. More char would have been nice but that is just how we like it. The Black Pepper Tagliatelle was outstanding, so freaking good and different. The chicken parm was massive and so crunchy and flavorful. The spaghetti that came with it was slightly over cooked and didn't give me the tooth feel that would have set this over the top. The vodka sauce though was great.
Spencer L — Google review
I am really impressed with Colletta, which is an upscale Italian restaurant at Avalon in Alpharetta, GA. 1) The vibe and ambience are chill. 2) The foods are perfectly seasoned. Not too overpowering or bland. 3) My group had the lasagna, chicken parmesan, and the goat cheese pasta (AGNOLLOTI DEL PLIN). All of them are outstanding. The chicken parmesan is a huge portion (more fitting for 2 people). 4) The meatballs and the burrata appetizers are equally as good as the entrees. 5) Pro-tip: don’t get the right corner table by the kitchen. The servers walk in and out and to and from the kitchen, so members of your party may have to shift seats frequently to make way for the servers.
Dan T — Google review
Nice decor in the restaurant, but everything we had was very meh. Wine glasses weren’t polished and had dish detergent residue around the rim. Our bottle of wine, something they serve by the glass also, didn’t come until after the server took our entire dinner order. The knife that was given to me when I sat down has something melted/stuck to it. Our daughter wanted her dish boxed up, and the server took it away to box but never brought it back (we didn’t realize this until after we had left). Our server refilled our wine glasses once but didn’t come back to refill after this. I worked in the service industry for over 20 years, so I feel like I am not being overly harsh on this restaurant. Dinner for me, my husband and 2 daughters was $260. For this price, I would have expected better food and service honestly. This was our first and only visit here.

Secreto Southern Kitchen is a stylish, country-inspired venue that offers traditional Southern cuisine in a modern setting. This trendy establishment serves up mouthwatering dishes that are sure to satisfy any cravings for classic Southern fare. Indulge in their warm pimento cheese and crispy fried green tomatoes as a delightful starter before diving into their must-try specialty: perfectly seasoned southern fried chicken that will leave you wanting more.
We enjoyed a great dining experience here. The food was really good, the service was very attentive, and it was an all around good evening. We started with the bang bang shrimp and it was really tasty. Our entrees were the fried chicken and shrimp & grits which were both very good. We also added the collard greens & cornbread sides which were fantastic (highly recommend you add those). We have no complaints, and our only suggestion would be more relaxing chairs. But that’s a minor consideration and definitely would not keep us from returning. We will be back because the food and service are fabulous!

We’ve been dining here for years and have always loved the food. Unfortunately, the prices have become outrageous. I paid $47 for a plate, and my Mahi portion was barely 2x3 inches—an utter rip-off. It's disappointing to see such price gouging from a place we used to enjoy.

If you want to avoid downtown Alpharetta and Avalon, this is a nice place to have drinks and/or dinner. I love the long bar, and the cocktails are always on point. I really enjoyed the Roasted Red Pepper Crab Bisque and the cornbread. My friend enjoyed what I think was Spinach and Crab (?) dip and the Shrimp-n-Grits. We were too full for dessert, so we had to pass.

Secreto is our hidden gem in Alpharetta! Don’t let the strip center facade fool you — once inside, it feels like a midtown spot and has quickly become one of our favorite date night destinations. The cocktails are excellent, and there’s a solid selection of beer, wine, and liquor. We especially love Sebastian, who’s been our server many times — and even when he isn’t, he always stops by to check in and make sure we’re taken care of. The fried chicken alone is worth the visit, but honestly, we’ve never had a bad dish here. Always a great experience.

This place was phenomenal! From start to finish. Our server, Sebastian was amazing and attentive without being pushy. We started with calamari (crispy and you get a ton) and the pork belly(omg melt in your mouth delicious). His entree recommendations were what we went with because they are my husband's (Scallops) and my favorite (crabcakes) and were prepared and cooked expertly- bravo to the cook! We celebrated our 15yr anniversary here and are so happy we chose this restaurant. We also appreciated the warm carrot cake to finish the meal. Secreto will now be our new favorite place. There was not one item we ordered that wasn't seasoned and cooked great. The ambiance was nice as well and not super noisy either. We will definitely be back again soon.

Citizen Soul is a stylish restaurant located in Downtown Alpharetta, offering a diverse menu with global influences and an impressive selection of craft cocktails and beer. The establishment has been recognized for having the Best Outdoor Patio in Alpharetta, providing plenty of covered outdoor seating to enjoy their seasonal charcuterie boards and short rib dishes. Inspired by the Pacific Northwest while incorporating southern flavors, it's an ideal spot for happy hour with co-workers or a romantic date night.
Had an absolutely stellar dinner at Citizen Soul tonight—hands down one of the best spots in Alpharetta for elevated Southern soul food with a modern twist. We shared the crab cakes (crispy perfection with a zesty remoulade) and grilled octopus (tender, smoky, and bursting with flavor from the charred edges). For mains, the redfish was flaky and buttery, seared just right with a light herb crust, and the fried chicken… oh man, that fried chicken was a revelation. It was gluten-free (which is huge for my wife, who’s strictly gluten-intolerant), and it didn’t skimp on the crunch or juiciness one bit—crispy exterior, moist inside, seasoned like a dream. Pro tip: Almost everything on their menu is naturally gluten-free or can be made that way, so it’s a safe haven for anyone with dietary restrictions without feeling like a compromise. Service was top-notch from start to finish—our server was knowledgeable, attentive, and made spot-on recommendations without hovering. The vibe is warm and inviting, with a cozy patio that’s perfect for cooler evenings. Prices are fair for the quality, and we’ll be back soon to try more from their creative lineup. If you’re in Alpharetta and craving soulful eats that cater to everyone, Citizen Soul is a must-visit. Highly recommend! 🇺🇸🍗

For a local restaurant, very nice and considered good value by locals except for the wine offering which is expensive. The food was mainly good but my short rib was unseasoned but my wife's was well seasoned! Service was ok but nothing special. The environment was typical!

We had another great visit to Citizen Soul. I went with my husband, and we both enjoyed our meal and drinks. I ordered an espresso martini and asked for a splash of Baileys, which made it creamier and slightly sweet, but still nice and strong. My husband ordered his drink neat. For food, we shared the charcuterie, pimento cheese fritters, brussels sprouts, and braised short rib empanadas. Everything was delicious overall. The empanadas were flavorful and well-seasoned, though I would have liked a bit more meat inside and a flakier pastry. The brussels sprouts were cooked perfectly, and the addition of pork belly added a delicate, rich touch that I really enjoyed. The fritters were insanely delicious. They have this weird, but satisfying “cheese wiz” flavor, but I promise, the flavors work so well together! The charcuterie board was great, but I was surprised that it didn’t include cheese automatically. You have to order the fromage separately, which I wish had been included. I also would have liked a few more condiments on the side to balance the flavors. You can really feel Chef Sean Clark’s creativity and vision in the menu. The bar service was a highlight as well—the bartender was welcoming and ensured we had a hospitable experience. The service felt genuine and attentive, which made the whole evening even more enjoyable. This was our second visit, and we’re already looking forward to coming back again.

Citizen Soul is the perfect mix of flavor, vibe, and top-notch service! If you’re looking for a place where the food is just as good as the atmosphere, this is it. The salmon is out of this world, perfectly cooked, flavorful, and beautifully plated. And don’t even get me started on the burger… juicy, well-seasoned, and absolutely satisfying. A huge shoutout to Joselyn and Chris, who made the experience even better! They’re attentive, friendly, and have that effortless way of making you feel like a regular, even if it’s your first time. Whether you’re there for a laid-back dinner or a night out with friends, Citizen Soul never misses. Can’t wait to go back!

First, when we got in there, we waited 15 minutes Till someone And give us our menus and then the lady said hi to us and walked right past us. When the one of the staff members FINALLY came to my table he was ok but better than the other staff members.the man that served us was really fast with bringing out our drinks. The glass that our beverages were in was kinda dirty. When we asked the guy for more ranch and silverware he had an attitud.the bartender was flirting with girls two of the staff were on their phones and the lady in the second picture her customer service was awesome and she was so nice

We met for an after work happy hour with a visiting group of associates. Even though the upper deck didn't seem to be open, they directed our group upstairs so that we could have more room. I recommend this place for such activities. After work or happy hour times, accommodate a large group especially if you get up on the top deck The service is fast and responsive. I'm not sure if our server had anyone else in the restaurant or not, but it seemed that he was always there to take care of what we needed. We mostly ordered hors d'oeuvres to go with our drinks Come And we're giving good suggestions Such as the wings Pretzel bites. We tried two different flavors of wings, the Korean Hot Wings, and we also tried the lemon pepper. They came out very quickly and were hot to the touch served with a choice of dipping sauce. The lemon pepper wings we're not spicy and were a good choice for the group that didn't want spicy foods. The Korean BBQ wings, on the other hand, are fairly spicy that would grow on you as you ate more. The wings good-sized were cooked till they were falling off the bone as you want the wings to be. The pretzel bites came out hot. They were soft and warm, and when I went to accompaniment for the beer. The spiced fry appetizer played was it generous portion of hot and crispy fries. They also came at the choice of sauces along with the condiments on the table. A few of us did order entrees. I ordered the fish sandwich. The menu mentions it is the fish of the day, and the day I ordered, it was haddock. I'm not sure if that changes or not on a daily basis. The fish sandwich came out fresh and warm and had very little on it other than a bit of slaw. It was grilled, not fried, which I prefer. The taste of the fish was fine, but after eating it and left a bad taste in my mouth, it was not like a normal fish sandwich. I would advise one of their burgers over the fish. Some of the other Independence raved about those. There is also an open bar that is well stocked and any drink can be ordered. They do have some house specialty cocktails which when sampled were well made and tasted good.

The food punches above its weight. Great burgers and pub fare, and there’s enough variety that everyone can be happy. Service is great, and everyone was relaxed and friendly. Been there a half-dozen times or so and it’s always been great.

We had one of the best food at this place. It is very casual place with both indoor and outdoor seatings. We tried the meatloaf, falafel plate and their fries with house dip which was amazing. They have vast variety of beer and drinks. They can improvise on keeping the place bit more cleaner.

Went here after a long week, Chris and Kage amazing! They gave great recommendations for drinks we were feeling and the music is on point for a chill vibe. Loved sitting at the bar for a great end to our week. If you have not had the chance to visit Barley garden yet, give it a try!!

We Stopped by for a quick drink and app. The pretzel was basic, but the cheese was good. The kettle chips were a little too salty and just ok (nothing I’d probably order again). I’m not fond of beer, so I asked what fruity cocktails they have. I got the Bandersnatch. It wasn’t fruity at all, but it was ok. They have an outdoor patio upstairs and seating outside downstairs. Lots of beer selections and excellent service. We would give them another drive (with different cocktail and food options)

I really liked the idea of this place. The beer list looked good and the pictures looked fun. We got here and the place is way smaller than I expected, but that's fine. However the shaded roof was closed, only the floor area was open, it seems to be it would be the opposite. Then I didn't know how it worked there so I asked at the counter and they said if we sit at a table it's full service. Great. We sat down. After maybe 5 minutes the waitress asked if we wanted menus, I said yes. I swear it took about 10 minutes of waiting for menus before we just gave up and walked away. I don't get it. If we just happen to be here then I'd gladly try again if we can go upstairs and get waited on, but this experience wasn't it.

The restaurant boasts an impressive outdoor patio, complete with a glass ceiling and walls, allowing guests to enjoy their meals while soaking in the beautiful courtyard views year-round. With a chef-inspired menu featuring classic steakhouse dishes alongside seasonal seafood options, Lapeer is perfect for any occasion.
Always 10/10! This is our go to place for an excellent steak and a nice date night. We usually both get a ribeye (plenty of leftovers for the next day). We get it topped with one of their butters (our fav is the truffle butter). I also love their shells and cheese and you can’t forget their delicious shoe string fries. We got their chocolate cake this last time and it will now be added to our usual order because it was amazing.

10/10 !!! My husband and I frequent here for an early date night because they have a great happy hour menu. (I won't share the details because, yes I am gatekeeping...lol)

Loved this place! We had heard it was good but it’s beautiful inside and the food was delicious! We got the calamari to start and the flavors were unique and paired so well together. I got the seafood pasta and it was so good and my husband got the burger and he raved about it. I loved the espresso martini! It has a frozen whipped top that made it extra special. We will definitely be back! Perfect for date night or birthday

This place is definitely for a nice romantic dine in experience . My fav thing here was the fresh oysters . The shrimp toast is nice but definitely not heart healthy . I would suggest lesser butter on toast cauz the shrimp is soo good that the bread doesn’t need much . I also love the wine selection and service is definitely good . The place is a big tight if you sit on table for 2.

First time dining at Lapeer and was not disappointed! Our server Myrah was incredible. So knowledgeable on the menu and recommended some of her favorites that were delicious! We ordered oysters, the Waygu carpaccio, a filet with sides (baked shells and potato au gratin). Everything was exceptional. Definitely will be back in the future!

We ate here Saturday night. We were looking to try some place new and glad we did. Sits in downtown Alpharetta and has a very laid back atmosphere. We each had a few cocktails and their list is plentiful. For an appetizer we got the shrimp toast and it was very good. Highly rec that dish. For our mains the wife got the scallops and rissoto. I sampled one of the scallops and they were very good. I got the 7 oz Filet topped with crab meat and it was very good and honestly looked a lot bigger than 7 oz. We ordered the large asparagus as a side and it was really good. We enjoyed this place a lot and will def be back if we are in this area. Wonderful service as well. Our waitress was very good. If you enjoyed this review please be sure to hit the like button.

We had an amazing experience here for a dinner date night. The ambiance was absolutely beautiful. Lauren, the general manager, went above and beyond by seating us at our table and checking in multiple times throughout the evening. The shrimp toast recommended by our fantastic server, Lexi, is to die for. I’m still thinking about this starter weeks later. My husband also got the oysters not pictured and said they were perfect. The demonico ribeye was cooked beautifully and paired well with the roasted garlic and roasted mushrooms. And you can’t skip out on the baked shells and cheese. We got the chocolate cake to go and I imagine it was delicious considering my husband finished it before I could try a bite! I would definitely recommend going here if you are interested in a nice ambiance steak or seafood meal. The staff is incredible!

My lasting impression I'll take away from our first experience at Lapeer is 5-star service one would expect from a high-end restaurant. Our server, Amanda, was knowledgeable, attentive, & personable. We were able to take advantage of the $2 oyster Happy Hour special & appreciated the accoutrements. Steaks are the real star of the show here. Perfectly cooked with a nice grilled flavor, they use superior cuts of beef. The interior was surprisingly dark & loud. We probably would have opted for a patio reservation had we known which is brighter, quieter, & enclosed. 4 cocktails, 3 appetizers, 3 steaks w/sauce & 3 sides ran $500 including tip. Overall, it was a solid meal & we would revisit when in the mood for a good steak. Be advised, parking can be challenging as there is no dedicated lot or valet.

Chiringa is a vibrant beachside eatery that captures the essence of coastal dining right in Downtown Alpharetta. Co-owned by Andy McKoski, this open-air restaurant boasts a colorful and inviting atmosphere where guests can truly feel at home. With an emphasis on fresh seafood, clean proteins, and refreshing beverages, Chiringa offers light bites that celebrate natural flavors.
Chiringa is one of my go-to spots for quick, on the go drinks in downtown Alpharetta! The staff is always super friendly and the drinks are always strong. Stop by if you want casual bites or to-go drinks! I recommend the OG frozen marg but ask for a Gran Marnier floater.

Great atmosphere and margaritas. We often come here with friends and family. The food can be a hit or a miss, but lately it was mostly miss. Especially the fries, soggy and lukewarm. Please improve your fries quality.

First time here , have to say wings were amazing !!! Definitely in the very top of all wings in Atlanta ! Unique flavor, fresh ingredients. Can’t wait to come back to try the rest of the menu . Great story from the owner about the origin of the restaurant and menu . Service was friendly and fast. Absolutely recommend this place !!!!!!

I will say it was easy to order online. Paloma was disappointing and for $13 no rim of any type nor lime which I needed as the flavor of the drink was really lacking compared to many I’ve had in the past at other restaurants. Ordered 2 fresh fish and 2 shrimp tacos and fried pickles. We got 3 shrimp tacos and 1 fish and also didn’t have right toppings. For $5.50 more I wanted to get the order correct but my husband said it wasn’t worth waiting in the crazy line again. The fish portion small. Fried pickles batter was thick and overcooked. Maybe an off night?

The Caucasian male bartender with brown hair and the fair skin tone female with green eyes and curly hair are RUDE. I was standing in line patiently waiting to order and the male bartender only acknowledged the people behind me (white), mind you I’m African American. I advised the female bartender who was in front of me at the time and all she did was continue making drinks and NOT notify her co-worker or do anything else for that matter. It was a busy night but I ended up leaving after waiting 15 minutes to order as NO ONE was in front of me. Not once was I ever acknowledged while waiting to order for that matter. After this interaction alone, I will never step foot into this establishment as they seem to only cater to Caucasian people….

The place is good, nice place to hangout they have some games to play indoor like uno, monopoly and more. The food was decent, it’s a most popular place to grab some drinks. I don’t like their customer service because when I went up to order the lady was so rude, it was my first time visiting this place so I asked her which drink would she recommend and she didn’t respond to me and acted like she didn’t hear and she started talking the other people who ordered before me and just kept bragging about her husband and his football career.

Grabbed a quick, casual lunch here for the first time today. I can see this place totally popping off during the warmer months with its beach vibes & open green space with ample outdoor seating. Service was A+. Super friendly & accommodating. Food was fresh & tasty. We opted for the fish sandwiches & were not disappointed. Even the tartar sauce was bright & herbaceous. Sides of fries, cucumber salad, & plantains were excellent. Rounded it off with a Red Stripe for the Mr. & a Margarita for me (house made mix made with fresh squeezed citrus). With tip it was $85+ so I can see why some might consider this pricey for average portions. The only bummer? While tasty, the margarita was pretty weak. Overall, if I was in the area for lunch, I wouldn't hesitate to eat here again.

I loved the ambience and the set up right at Avalon The service was great and our server was very friendly. We did not have to wait long for the food They have a good selection of drinks both alcoholic and non alcoholic The food options are clean and healthy however the taste was not great for us. The hummus was flavorful which was the best. The rest we had issues with The pizza we ordered came out burnt as you will see in the pics and I surprised they served it to us … we ate it but left all the burnt pieces My plant burger was over seasoned with salt The fried chicken sandwich was decent The poke bowl was decent but quantity was less Same with the chicken parm Overall for a $200 for 4 I was disappointed I was looking forward to this experience being my birthday. Maybe we are just a one of bad experience because all the other reviews seem great

TBB 122 is a delightful community-centric café and restaurant that radiates warmth with its charming wood accents. The inviting ambiance is complemented by an impressive display of handcrafted pastries, artisan breads, and other gourmet offerings. Their seasonal menu highlights locally sourced ingredients, featuring everything from refreshing garden-to-table cocktails to invigorating craft coffees and pressed juices.
LOVED this place! TBB 122, farm-to-table restaurant, also serves lunch and dinner! Housed in what looks like a charmingly converted home, the restaurant has a warm, airy, and inviting vibe. It’s tucked away in a residential area, just off the main road, and even has some cozy outdoor seating. The entrance is around the back, and as soon as you walk in, you’re greeted by a display of fresh-baked pastries, including their signature cinnamon bun (don’t miss it!). We came early on a Thursday morning for an 8:30 AM reservation—four adults and one toddler—and had no trouble getting seated. The staff was incredibly accommodating, giving us a spacious table perfect for our little one. Three of us ordered the TBB Breakfast: eggs, in-house bacon, avocado slices and seasoned fingerling potatoes—all cooked to perfection. We also shared the warm cinnamon bun, which was absolutely delicious (no icing necessary), and I had a latte made with organic milk. Every bite and sip was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Highly recommend TBB 122—can’t wait to come back and try their lunch or dinner next time!

The interior decor is absolutely stunning here, and I love coming back just for the vibes. I’ve had so many things here, some that have been hits. The baked goods are fantastic, and of anything on the menu/in the displays, that’s what you should try. I’ve had so far: 1. Pumpkin Cheesecake - personal-sized cake, not too sweet. Warm cinnamon flavor from cake matched with the vanilla bean cream cheese frosting perfectly. 2. Lemon Bar - incredibly tart, perfect sweetness level. Not too large and had a pillowy texture. 3. Basque Cheesecake - as someone who usually despises cheesecake, this was killer. Not too sour or cream cheese-y. Crust was delicious. 4. Blue Smoothie Bowl - mostly had a lightly sweet, banana-esque taste. Fun to take photos of! Would still recommend ordering a side dish as well for a filling brunch. I have tried to do work here, but during rush times, your best bet will be to work at the bar up front. Otherwise, fantastic place to have brunch with friends!

Phenomenal and delicious assortment of sweets. They were actually quite unique. Loved the croque madame. Can't say it was authentic but it was definitely equally as tasty, if not better than most other croque madames I have had! Parking space is limited though so be sure to keep that in mind when planning to come here.

Came here for breakfast, and luckily we got here before 10 AM on a Sunday! It filled up pretty fast, and parking is limited so keep that in mind. We got seated quickly, but service was a little iffy. It was a bit slow here and there, and kind of all over the place. I ordered the TBB Breakfast, which was delicious -- loved the potatoes. The pastries my friends got looked amazing, and tasted wonderful as well! However, be aware that if you order an iced coffee, it is an iced AMERICANO. We were not aware of this until it came out and the waitress told us, so keep that in mind if you expected a drip coffee or something of the like. Overall, a decent experience. Love the aesthetic and the ambiance of the place, as well as the scrumptious food (and amazing pastries), but could do better on service.

Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen in Alpharetta offers a taste of Cajun cuisine with its fresh Gulf Coast seafood and Louisiana-style dishes like crawfish etouffee. The Sunday brunch buffet features made-to-order omelets, pancakes, waffles, roast beef, glazed ham, boiled shrimp, eggs Benedict, bacon, sausage, catfish, smoked salmon and more.
This was our first time coming here and it did not disappoint. The restaurant is decorated really nicely and the service is excellent. I recommend making a reservation in advance because it is very popular. The food was very good and well prepared. I definitely recommend the crispy red fish, the desserts are also very tasty, I really enjoyed the sweet potato and pecan pie. Overall the food is amazing and you enjoy a very nice dinning experience.

We stopped by here on a Friday for an early dinner, around 530 pm. The service was very good. The wait staff did a great job. Over all, the food was fine and enjoyable meal. We really enjoyed the fried calamari and octopus, I highly recommend that dish. The fry was light and crispy. So very good. 😊 The actual dinner dishes were fine. I have had better seafood but at the same time I have had worse. I can say the portions are very generous. Overall, it was a fine dinning experience. If you are in the area and want seafood you can certainly do worse then coming here.

My husband and I were enjoying a beautiful date night. We had the most wonderful waitress whose name was Lauren and found out that this was only her 2nd shift. Let me be the first to say she represented herself like a seasoned veteran. She was courteous, friendly and professional. She was an excellent representation of what we have come to expect from Pappadeaux. This is in part why we continue to come back. Again we were completely pleased with our experience and of course the food here was delicious! Mr. & Mrs. Lewis

The atmosphere always gets me. The flowers at the entrance are beautiful. ( I’m a flower girl so I’m very excited to see how well things are landscaped.) The drinks are on point, I can only drink one margarita, they had enough Patron in my margarita for three people!! 😝😝 You will get your money worth for sure on the drinks and the food. I love the soft shell crabs, trust me when I say they are fried to perfection and so darn delicious, best around here unless you want to drive to Virginia!! The oysters are very good as well. You can’t go wrong when visiting Pappadeaux everything is on point each time we have dined in here. Y’all get a A again and I’m a hard grader!!! 😜😝

I recently had the pleasure of dining here for lunch, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. If you're looking for a seafood restaurant with great service, delicious food, and excellent drinks, look no further! Our server, Nikita was attentive, and genuinely friendly. She made great suggestions! The Passion Fruit Lemon Drop was the bomb (do people still say that?) Well, it was so good. But the stars of the show was the food! For starters, we had the crab and spinach dip, it was amazing, very tasty. The crab cake was truly exceptional. It was packed with crab meat and perfectly seasoned. It's easily one of the best crab cakes I've ever had. We also ordered the crawfish trio platter, and it was an absolute feast. The portion was incredibly generous, easily enough for two people to share. Overall, it was a great lunch, we left feeling completely satisfied and already planning our next visit!

I've been here several times (more than I care to admit), and they never disappoint. The food is delicious, the staff is very friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is wonderful. The portions are very generous as well. I highly recommend and can't wait to come back! Pictured are the seafood cobb salad with crab meat (takeout) and shrimp and a couple of martinis at the bar. This salad is my go to, but everything I've tasted has been wonderful (scallops, stuffed shrimp, mozzarella sticks, swordfish are all delicious...probably forgetting a few items 😬)

The food was great, except for the drinks. They are tiny drinks that are very watered down for $13 (my mother and I had just a basic cocktail, that wasn't one of the specials,). The waiters/waitress were very kind and on top of their game! The atmosphere was great but there are so many speakers that it can be hard to find a table where you're not sitting underneath one or underneath a vent (which during the summer, I'm totally not opposed to!!) it's just the speakers that got me. I had to basically mini yell to the people at my table, as did other people at their tables, so it can it very loud. Even still, I recommend it for people to go to!!!

Nestled in the picturesque Crabapple District of Milton, Miltons Cuisine & Cocktails is a delightful dining destination housed in a beautifully restored 150-year-old farmhouse. This charming venue offers an inviting atmosphere with outdoor dining options and cozy fireplaces, perfect for enjoying the lovely Georgia weather. The menu showcases contemporary Southern cuisine crafted from locally sourced ingredients, many of which are harvested from the restaurant's own garden.
The other day I came here with my girlfriend and mother to celebrate my girlfriend’s 27th birthday and we had a lovely evening. The valet staff did a fantastic job and were quick and very polite. The hostess was polite and very accommodating with helping us get a perfect table. Our server was very polite and professional and gave us plenty of time to review the menu and pick out our drinks and meal.

Tried this place for the first time today, and honestly, it started off a little rough. Parking is valet-only (makes sense because space is tight), but the valet guy could’ve been friendlier. Since we didn’t know it was valet, we got this “death stare” that felt like we’d done something wrong. Walking in, it was three adults and two kids. The host asked if we had a reservation, and when we said no, her attitude wasn’t the warmest kind of gave off judgmental vibes. At that point, we were already thinking maybe coming here for Sunday brunch was a mistake. Thankfully, two other staff members jumped in and helped us get a table, which totally saved the moment. Once we sat down, everything changed. Our server was awesome super friendly, easy to talk to, and my 4-year-old absolutely loved her. The menu is small, but every single thing we ordered was delicious. The only downside was the wait food took about 20–35 minutes to arrive. But with drinks and conversation, the time passed easily. We spent around $130, which felt pretty reasonable. In the end, the rough start didn’t matter once we got the table, the whole experience turned out great. Definitely planning to come back!

We had an early (6pm) reservation for dinner for our anniversary. Our daughter made the reservation and snuck a couple of diversions into the mix. The outfit she works for is part of the same hospitality group, and she knew folks at Milton's that could make things happen. Milton's is partially housed in a restored barn, about 150 years old. We were seated right away. The hostess was pleasant and professional. Our server seemed to teleport to our table. You lok up, and there she is. You think you need something, there she is. Perfect. She had secrets, so she was almost giddy when she arrived. She brought a lovely little arrangement of sunflowers and a beautiful red gladiola from the small garden outside the restaurant. The flowers were accompanied by a card from the GM and other staff that took such great care of us. Melanie, our server, slipped away and returned with a bottle of champagne. While we caught our breath (and had a wee sip of the bubbly), Kevin (the GM) showed up with an amazing charcuterie board. It was like a salad bar, half the size of the table. Smoked Gouda, parmigiano/romano, a nice cheddar, prosciutto, copicola, grapes, strawberries, pepper jelly. I'm sure I've forgotten something. By the time we decided to order, I was ready for a nap. Amazing. My wife had their meatloaf. Griund veal, beef, pork, and bacon, with a wonderful glaze, broccolini, and Gouda mashed potatoes. I went with the grass fed Delmonico Ribeye and a giant salt roasted potato. We added an order of local mushrooms (like we needed more food). Everything was just as we ordered, and even better, it was exactly as we expected. The wife made progress in her meatloaf. I struggled to get an advantage on the steak. The steak won in fairly embarrassing fashion, but my leftovers were still 5 stars. As we surrendered to each individual course, Mattie whisked away the dishes and boxed everything professionally. When we surrendered to the last dish, Melanie asked if we were up to a dessert challenge. I looked at the missus, and there was NO doubt. She asked for the carrot cake, and I selected the crème broûlée. Perfect ending to a perfect experience. I have to thank all of Milton's staff, but most of all, our brilliant server--Melodie, the magician--and Mr. Chris, the overseer. The grande surprise was our daughter had arranged payment and gratuity. What an event for a $10 dollar tip for the valet. Please make arrangement to visit the amazing place in Milton/Crabapple/Alpharetta. J 7/26/2025 Milton's 7/272025 - anniversary

Our waitress Victoria made this meal so special. She anticipated things we didn’t think or ask about. She was amazing. The food was so delicious with large portions. The atmosphere is very cute for a date, family, or professional gatherings. They played good music as well.

We’ve had consistently great meals here and returned for a long-overdue date night. As expected, the food was outstanding. Every dish was intentional and well-prepared, and the cocktails were equally well-balanced. The kitchen continues to deliver at a high level. Unfortunately, the overall experience fell short of the standard this restaurant usually sets. We were seated near two visibly drunk young men who seemed connected to the staff. They referenced selling certain menu items, loudly addressed servers by name, and made disruptive comments like “keep walking” and “calm down” as staff passed. The host stand also felt off. The group of three young girls working it spent much of the night talking with these same guests and treating the front of house more like a social hub than a professional space. At $250 for dinner for two, this kind of atmosphere doesn’t fit. The food deserves a front-of-house experience that reflects the same level of care, not one dominated by immature energy and loud, inside jokes. We’ll return. because the food truly is excellent, but I hope management takes a closer look at what’s happening on the floor. The dining room shouldn’t feel like a college bar.

We visited Milton’s last night and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. Our server was clearly overwhelmed — we had to flag him down multiple times, thought we’d been forgotten on a few occasions, and even had an incorrect order (a dish came with bacon despite being requested without). We were also missing utensils and had to ask for them. It felt like the restaurant was short-staffed. Food-wise, most of our group enjoyed their meals, but my wife’s scallops were a miss. The remoulade was unpleasant, and overall her dish just wasn’t good. The biggest issue of the night, however, was the noise. A large party of eight in the dining room was so loud that multiple tables were looking over, ours included. No staff member ever intervened. It became impossible to have a conversation at our table, and when the party left, we spoke with neighboring diners who said they also couldn’t believe how disruptive it was. Two people in our group said they would never return for that reason alone. I had been to Milton’s once before and hoped to really like it, but between the inattentive service, uneven food, and management’s lack of control over the dining room atmosphere, we left feeling it wasn’t worth the high prices. In my opinion, these are signs of a management problem. I wish them the best, but unfortunately, we won’t be back.

Every time we have enjoyed a meal here it has been delicious. Kenna was our server both times! She’s welcoming, educated on the menu and made our experience complete. The food never disappoints. The cocktails are delicious too.

they're doing a lot of things right. farm to table with locally sourced ingredients, lots of dishes and recipes that may be easy to make but are hard to master, and the chef masters them all. the ambience is fantastic, the staff excited about their work, our host and server john didn't leave anything to wish for. fun cocktails and a solid wine list will make this an unforgettable experience for everyone.

Italian restaurant
Nestled in the vibrant heart of Alpharetta, Vinny's on Windward is a delightful Italian restaurant that combines upscale classic cuisine with a relaxed rustic ambiance. The open kitchen allows diners to witness the culinary magic as Chef Louis Rameriz crafts an array of mouthwatering dishes, from sautéed veal chop paired with creamy mushroom risotto to comforting gnocchi and exquisite tiramisu.
EXCELLENT! We had the calamari and bread board as appetizers. Both were very good. For dinner we had chicken Parmesan, gnocchi with veal meatballs and cheese pizza. We all enjoyed our meals. The atmosphereis cozy, but slightly industrial.

This place is probably one of the best Italian places I have ever been to!! Hands down!! The veal meatballs and gnocchi were the best I've ever had! The mushroom pizza was to die for!! The atmosphere and the waiter we had, Mila was amazing!! Best service and food!! Hands down!! I'm coming back multiple times a month!!

My friend and I came here last year and we had a wonderful time. Yesterday however, was disappointing to say the least. We ordered our food, starting with appetizers. Tasted great, lovely. The entrees? Took exactly 43 minutes to be served. The lobster pasta had 0 flavor, so incredibly bland, and the noodles were stuck together. I told the waiter and this middle-aged Asian man who barely spoke English sat down NEXT to me and explained the PROCESS of how it was cooked. I’m sorry, what? I’m not even trying to be racist, because I’m Asian too, but the way he tried to convince me that I was in the wrong? Who does that? I was so intimidated. I spent $43 on some mediocre pasta that tasted like a white wall. Seriously, what happened? Never coming back.

First time here. Loved the atmosphere, service and food. Lunch with 6 friends, all of us have lived in the area for several years, never tried Vinny’s but not really sure why? So today was the day, we tried several dishes which were all large portions and very good. We will be back!

One restaurant in metro Atlanta region that I have been trying to visit since the Pandemic days for this place had some amazing reviews and especially to try their Pizzas. It was good but could have been a lot better. THE FOOD: I happened to visit this place at 5:30PM and to my surprise, they had an Evening Menu which is something in between their Lunch and Dinner which starts at 7 I guess. On top of that this Evening menu is very very extremely limited; it’s not available on their website I guess. Literally couple of appetizers, 3-4 Entrees and 2 desserts. This was a shocker in every sense. And on top of that it had limited Vegetarian menu compared to their full range menu. We got the Margherita Flat bread and Calamari, and the flat bread just blew my mind. It was so delicious and cooked to perfection. Heard the Calamari was decent. It took some time to get our order though and by the time it was around 6:15 ish we thought we will get the Entrees and due to limited vegetarian options (literally 1 entree on the evening menu) I asked if I could get something like a Pasta or a different Pizza (instead of Margherita which I just had). Since it wasn’t time for dinner, I went with White sauce pizza with Mushrooms. This was another amazing dish in my opinion. So delicious and different from the flat bread and was very well baked. While others had a different entree (I couldn’t recollect the name), they seemed to be a bit happy with theirs. Then for the desserts we had Tiramisu and Chocolate cake, and Tiramisu was totally off in my opinion. The most bland dessert I have had and the coffee flavor & the cake didn’t set well either. It just fell apart as I had my first bite. Disappointed though. SERVICE & AMBIENCE: Extremely well lit and very well designed restaurant from the exteriors to the interior. It was so pleasant and very different at the same time, more like having food in an Italian country side setting. It’s a well spacious and laid out restaurant. The service was very good too. They were able to accommodate us at least with an Out of Evening menu item upon request. The staffs were friendly and knowledgeable as well. BOTTOMLINE: Looks to be a great place for some amazing delicious and fresh tasting food. The only or the big down side being the menu limitations and having extremely limited options for Vegetarians (No meat, no fish) option. Would probably visit for the exquisite Pizza. Desserts can be let alone. MY PICKS FOR YOU: Mushroom (White) Pizza, Margherita flat bread

Vinny's is a treasure. I've had the opportunity to dine there a few times now. I make it a stop when I'm in the area. Their food is incredible! This last visit I had an open face ribeye sandwich. The steak was cooked to perfection and tender. The side salad was a perfect pairing with it. They used a hearty bread for the base of the sandwich which became a savory treat with the juiciness of the steak. Their desserts are amazing, but didn't treat myself this visit.

Was looking forward to trying this place for over a year! While the food we ordered was delicious, the portions were abysmal. Especially compared to the hefty price. No bread, crackers, soup, salad, of any sort included. Atmospherically, it's excellent. Although we were sat in a small partially separated room, so we weren't able to actually enjoy that incredible atmosphere:) The server was lifeless, repeating memorized phrases, and didn't check on us other than to take our orders, deliver our food, and the check. When paying this much, I'd really expect a better overall experience than olive garden, but honestly between the service, price point, and portion size, I've had much better experiences at Olive garden.

The food is exceptional! Love the atmosphere inside and NEVER felt rushed. Highly recommend this restaurant if looking for fantastic Italian food! All of the ingredients tasted farm fresh. If I had 6 kids...Probably would not go here. However, for yourself and a significant other or a small group...Perfect spot!! I would also like to say how happy I am that I do NOT have 6 kids!! 🥳🥳🥳🥳

When visiting a restaurant, my habit is to first check out the dessert menu. Alpine Bakery & Pizzeria/Crabapple in New York City is an authentic bakery that offers a wide range of mouthwatering treats. If you're unsure about what to choose, I highly recommend trying their snicker cannoli. This bakery boasts an impressive array of both large and small cakes, as well as individual slices.
What an amazing array of desserts!! We stopped by tonight after dinner just for dessert. We were also scoping out the place for possible holiday goodies for a party we’re hosting. The amount of choices was really amazing! It wasn’t super busy but we took a number and only waited a few minutes to be waited on. They had plenty of people working and served up our order very quickly. I had cheesecake and my wife had an Italian cake. Both desserts were excellent!!

Alpine Bakery did a phenomenal job with our wedding cheesecakes! We did not want traditional wedding cake for our reception and Alpine’s cheesecakes are so delicious – the absolute best! They were very responsive and helpful with all of my questions throughout the planning and ordering process. They beautifully arranged my wedding flowers on the main cake and provided to-go boxes for guests to take home leftovers. I’d highly recommend them for any special occasion. We can’t wait to order more cheesecakes in the future to celebrate our anniversaries!

My buddy recommended coming here and giving it a try so my wife and I did just that. When you walk in it can be a bit confusing at first but grab a number and wait till it is called. If one wants to dine in still grab a number because you have to place your order at the front. Once you place your order, they will give you a number to place on your table. We ordered cheese sticks, cheese pizza and a Stromboli (forgot to take a picture of it). The pizza wasn’t that bad, it is a bit soggy near the tip and middle but the near the crust and the actual crust was amazing. I ordered the cheese sticks extra crispy because my buddy told me when he orders them, at times the cheese is cold which ordering them extra crispy was the right option. We also ordered some deserts which they are not overly sweet and tasted pretty good. The crowds come and go which a lot of people just picked up their orders or placed them to go. Also, they don’t have a fountain drinks so be ready to pay an over priced soda. Overall, we enjoyed our experience and do recommend coming in and trying their food.

My first time here was a treat and made me wonder why it was my first time here. The ordering system is a bit confusing at first, but makes sense as you get a dedicated person that lets you walk down the display case and pick things out. The staff is very helpful. Everything is homemade and perfectly executed. The temperatures of each item are perfect. The textures. Truly a treat. Will be back.

The cakes and truffles from Alpine Bakery are top notch as always. I ordered my groom's cakes from here in 2008 and the taste is just as amazing as back then so they're keeping the quality up. We've also used them for desserts got larger parties and the food always goes over well. The strawberry Swiss roll is amazing and I can't recommend it enough. The noise level was overwhelming to me but I was there the evening before Mother's Day so it was a lot busier than normal according to the employee that helped me. Once I got there I saw they do phone and online orders so if you already know what you want I recommend that.

We Order from here all the time and usually is great. We ordered a pepperoni cheese pizza. Once we started to eat our pizza we noticed it tastes like fish. We pulled the cheese back and found fish. We didn’t order fish. My girlfriend is also allergic to fish. Won’t ever order pizza from Alpine again. Called and complained we received a $20 gift card :(

First time. I had a craving for strawberry cream cheese cup cake. Which they didn’t have anything of that sort beside strawberry mousse cupcake with chocolate drizzle. The Cheese cake was about $12 very fresh. Nice portion. When I entered into the shop the ppl that worked there were very friendly and helpful once I told them that it was my first time. They also have a wide variety of food as well.

Mexican restaurant
Pure Taqueria is a vibrant Mexican restaurant that offers an array of delicious dishes, including tortas, tacos, and tostadas, all complemented by a fantastic selection of margaritas. The atmosphere is casual and inviting, making it the perfect spot for gathering with friends. During my recent visit, I enjoyed the lively vibe and friendly service while sipping on refreshing strawberry basil drinks. Although I encountered some issues with overly salty shrimp in my fajitas, the crispy calamari was delightful.
I recently went to catch up with some friends, and it was a fun experience. The place had a great vibe, and our server was super friendly and patient, even though we took ages to decide what to order. The drinks were delicious, I got strawberry basil drinks and the calamari was perfectly crispy and tasty. But, we ordered the combination fajitas, and the shrimp were way too salty, which was a bummer. Still, it was a great spot for a chill night out with friends. I’d definitely go back for the atmosphere.

Let’s talk about something that can be 5+ stars, but lacks. The food is surprisingly good, service is decent and most of the time - speedy. What kills the vibe is a non functioning faucet in the women’s bathroom. And mind you, there is only one women’s toilet and one for men. So just questioning how sanitary the place is, and how frequently does the staff wash their hands before serving their patrons’ food? Appalling! Can the health department please service this restaurant’s bathroom conditions already and mandate a bathroom sink replacement?!

Love all the food and drinks at Pure. Everything is so delicious. The bartenders are awesome as well! Only complaint is how COLD it is!!! Everyone complains about it being freezing but it never changes. Make sure you bring a jacket because they always have the AC pumping especially when you sit at the bar. Even with 2 jackets the wind from the AC is crazy.

Amazingly satisfied after an impromptu visit! The small building is quite inviting and cozy with a good atmosphere. Can't wait to try again in the Spring/Summer when all the doors and windows are open, that will be great! The staff is awesome and very helpful. The drinks were amazing, including the Jalapeno Margarita which had tons of flavor without too much spice and the Prickly Pear Margarita was delicious and sweet. The food was awesome and very well portioned. Can't wait to come back!

Oak Steakhouse is a sophisticated restaurant that offers American cuisine made with locally sourced beef. With its upscale and elegant atmosphere, it provides a view of the open kitchen where aged steaks are prepared. The establishment stands out for its high-quality dry and wet steaks, as well as delicious chef-style vegetable sides.
It was our anniversary and we could not think of a better place to celebrate our 25 years together than at Oak Steakhouse. The food is excellent and the staff is amazing! We want to thank the whole staff and especially the GM Rob, Christine, Andrew, Chloe and Debbie for making sure our evening was extra special! We look forward to our next visit and highly recommend Oak Steakhouse for all your dining needs :-)

Oak Steakhouse at Avalon in Alpharetta has been a phenomenal experience across all four of my visits with friends over the past year. The steaks and seafood are top-tier, with perfectly cooked meats and delicious family-style sides. The Oysters Rockefeller and jumbo shrimp cocktail are absolute must-haves to start the meal. The bar is a fantastic pre-dinner spot with a great vibe and an impressive wine selection. The ambiance is spot-on - small yet spacious dining room with comfortable seating, a stunning large wooden door entrance, and an open kitchen design that adds to the upscale feel. The service is consistently personable and attentive, making every visit memorable. Yes, it’s pricey, but every penny is well spent for the quality. With plenty of seafood and non-beef options, it’s a great spot for any group. Highly recommend!

Oak Steakhouse at Avalon exceeded all expectations for my birthday dinner. Ashley made the reservation, and Debbie reached out ahead of time to personalize the evening. My wife and I don’t eat out much—we’re usually disappointed with the food or service, especially for the price. But we wanted to do something special for her milestone birthday and decided to take a chance on Oak Steakhouse. We’re SO glad we did. From the moment we walked in, they made the night feel special. Our table was reserved with a personalized birthday card signed by the staff—such a thoughtful touch. Our server, Kenneth, was amazing. Super friendly and honest with his recommendations. We got the pork chop (absolutely incredible), plus the mac and cheese and collard greens—everything was delicious. Hands down the best meal we’ve had dining out, no exaggeration. Even though the restaurant was busy, the staff made us feel like we were the only ones there. To top it off, Kenneth surprised my wife with a tray of birthday desserts on the house. Every one of them was amazing. The cost of the meal for the average person is not cheap, we spent over $150 total, but when I tell you it was well worth it with the amount and quality of food, service and overall experience, it's an understatement. I've never felt more justified spending that amount of money in a restaurant ever. Huge thanks to Kenneth and the whole Oak team. You made my wife’s birthday unforgettable. We’ll definitely be back!

Very visually appealing restaurant, but our dining experience did not match the decor. Despite having an early reservation and plenty of open tables, we still had to wait for the hostess to seat us. Our server was very personable, gave us a tour of the menu. He kept our waters full, but neglected to ask those of us with cocktails if we wanted a second round. Perhaps because it took quite a long time for our first round to be prepared and served to us. I’ll note that it seemed he had very little backup when dealing with our table, sometimes he would go missing for longer than we wanted, and no manager or other server came in to fill in the gap. The sides and dessert were pretty good. As for entrees, I have to say that we did not enjoy 4 of the 5 steaks our party had ordered. The only person who liked their steak had ordered the steak frites, the least expensive of the steaks we had ordered. And the 5 mains were not brought at the same time, with a few minutes between the first and final mains hitting the table. There was a big party in a private room, which may have been the cause for the kitchen and bar delays, but we could overlook that if the steak had been good. It simply was not for us. Maybe it was an off night, but it certainly cost us a pretty penny to find out.

We have visited Oak several times and always love it. Tonight, we ate outside for the first time and it was an even more relaxing and pleasant experience. Our waiter was attentive, kind, and knowledgeable… as always. The food was phenomenal. It’s such a special place. You definitely need a reservation and you may wait a little even with one but it’s worth it.
Dana S — Google review
Tonight my wife and I were shown what a top-notch restaurant does to remain a top-notch restaurant other than preparing an exceptional menu. I made reservations online for Oak Steakhouse in the Avalon for our anniversary later the next week. One of the questions on the form was “Are you celebrating anything special?” I filled in “We are celebrating our 42nd wedding anniversary.” The day before our reservation, I received a text from the restaurant asking me to confirm and asking for my wife’s name. I confirmed and I thought nothing of it further. We arrived promptly at our reservation time and were greeted by the hostess who asked our name. After my reply, she lit up, smiled widely and then said, Happy 42nd anniversary!” She then seated us at a table reserved for us with a ‘Happy Anniversary’ card signed by staff members along with a bouquet of red roses! Every staff member that came to assist us at our table made a point to wish us a happy anniversary, including the manager! Our waiter Rob was outstanding. From the moment we sat down he made us feel special with a glass of bubbly on the house. He provided spot on recommendations to our menu options. Then after dinner when we asked for his recommendation between two dessert choices we had narrowed our list to, he said, “how about both, it’s on the house….Happy Anniversary! Many restaurants can prepare and serve good food, but going the extra mile by paying attention to the little things makes all the difference. Thank you Oak Steakhouse and all of your staff, but especially our waiter Rob for the best restaurant experience and creating a memory that will not be forgotten!

Alpharetta Location: First time patron and was looking forward to something really special. We arrived on time for our brunch reservation. The restaurant ambience is really inviting, the scent of the wood fire is appealing as well and the welcome greeting was pleasant. Service was just ok. We never learned our servers name until the bill arrived. Our soup was served very lukewarm. We didn’t complain, it happens, so we ate. As my husband sat back for a brief conversation, his half eaten bowl of soup was suddenly taken away without a word. He planned to finish it. Again, he’s kind and didn’t complain. Our salads were served crispy and fresh, however the grilled chicken and the bacon bits were dried out and a bit chewy on the Cobb salad. My husband enjoyed his Salmon Spinach Salad. The dressing was nice and the portions are big. Probably won’t recommend or visit again.

Was at Firebirds in Alpharetta today for Mother’s Day. Had Reservations too. Food was good. Service needs some help. My Mom’s French toast came out and I waited almost 15 minutes until my order came out. My Mom’s also had coffee with her order and we had to ask 2 servers for it before she got it after she ate half of her meal. Also had to wait multiple times for water to be refilled. Another server filled them since our server was busy with other tables. Would be nice if your orders come out together so one person is not sitting there waiting on the other before starting to eat and there entree getting cold. Sharing a special meal with my Mom is good but when she said the service was lacking made me think ok we won’t do this again.

Decided to eat here for lunch, despite the restaurant being over half empty, hostess chose to seat us right next to a large loud highschooler party. Food was very mediocre especially for the price. Service was adequate but nothing special (had to request our check and water refills). First time and definitely last time. Would not recommend.

I order the same meal weekly thru uber eats. Parmesan Chicken w/loaded baked potato. I ordered earlier in the day than usual and ended up with the lunch size- a single piece of chicken, much smaller than usual. The chicken was overcooked and tough. A paper bag with butter, but no bread. The butter melted through the bag and covered the food containers. Usually everything is wonderful, but this really missed the mark.

These bagels are 🤌🏽 The food and service is exactly what you need. The portions are huge so come hungry, even the coffee cups are big. Service is great and attentive, and they will even get to know you if you are regulars. If you want to get your food to go, then go to the left side of the building and place your order at the window. Service out there is generally fast, but they do have a lot of customers, so have a little bit of patience.

Cashier was very frazzled and not particularly cordial or welcoming...I was dying for their whitefish salad..she looked at me like I had 4 heads...said "we don't make that..". I'm from NYC and have been a die hard fan since they opened...your front counter will kill you!! Attitude is always your altitude!! At least offer some outdoor tables..humans don't always want to eat in their cars!!

this is our favorite bagel place. we moved away. we are back visiting and had to stop. it was a nice surprise to see that they have done some updates. we always try to sit at the counter. the staff there is always friendly. today it was not busy so we were able to engage in a nice conversation. I enjoy their flagels and my husband loves the nova platter. as you can see from the pictures they don't skimp on the nova.

Antico Pizza Napoletana is a relaxed pizzeria with an open kitchen that serves crisp, Naples-style pies to diners at communal tables. The Margherita Pizza comes highly recommended by locals and the restaurant is also located at Avalon, offering a delightful dessert option at Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams.
A great restaurant where you can taste authentic Italian-style pizza. It's soft, chewy, and full of flavors. I highly recommend this place as the pizzas are baked with good ingredients using wood ovens.
Jaydee — Google review
visited Antico Pizza in Avalon and tried their Margherita pizza, and it was absolutely perfect. The crust was soft yet had that delicious wood-fired crisp, the sauce was rich and full of flavor, and the fresh mozzarella melted beautifully on top. The basil added the right touch of freshness, making every bite taste authentic and balanced. The atmosphere of the place also matched the quality of the food, warm and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone who loves real Italian-style pizza.

We had such a wonderful experience here this evening. We reserved a back area for my son's birthday. The staff could not have been more helpful! They helped hang balloons and made the area so nice and clean. They helped bring drinks over, order extra pizzas fast and even carried everything back to the car afterwards. The pizza was delicious! We ordered margharita, pepperoni and lasagna pizzas and I recommend them all! We will absolutely be back and highly recommend the staff, establishment and food! Thank you!! A special thanks to Isaac! He was amazing!

First I want to say thank you to Drew(very respectful employee who served me the pizza)& Antico pizza for making my day that much better! My first experience with Antico was very memorable & heartwarming. After doing some shopping at Avalon, I was on my way to take a seat by the concierge’s desk and to my surprise, I spotted a young man seemingly offering free pizza. It turns out that my intuition was true and he gave me a sausage, peppers and cheese pizza. And let me say this, not only was it good because it was free… but this was definitely one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. I am not a big pizza fan necessarily, but I know good food and good ingredients when I experience them! This pizza tasted like something you could only find in Italy! Fresh and high quality without a doubt. This is definitely not your average pizza. Go give them a try.

Food is delicious! Tables are communal. Wine and beer available. Wine will be too the brim! lol. No outside beer allowed and wine has $15 corkage fee fee per bottle. Pizza takes about 15 minutes. Each is made to order right up front. Easy pick up due to location by the parking deck. Small inside.

I recently moved to the Alpharetta area and was looking for really good pizza. An article I read stated this was one of the best pizza places in the US. They appear to do nothing but pizza. The menu options are limited in a good way. I had what they call the lasagna Pizza which was red sauce basil, Buffalo mozzarella, ricotta and sausage. It was $22 for a good size pizza for one person it's enough for two meals for sure. The flavor is excellent the crust was light and had a nice wood oven char to it. Definitely enjoyed the food. The dining experience is order from the front counter and look for a seat. Nothing fancy but it's pizza. I thought the price was excellent as well. Will definitely be returning possibly for my regular Sunday Pizza fix.

This was our first time and they have the best pizza ever! The crust is just perfect! You can taste the good quality put jnto making it! The staff is very good at their job and we enjoyed their pizzas for dinner and the desserts were also very delicious It was quite busy and a little loud but its nice that they allow dogs inside. Its great to dine in with friends and I’ll definitely be comjng back.

Nestled in the heart of downtown Alpharetta, Salt Factory Pub is a delightful American gastropub that captures the essence of casual dining with a touch of sophistication. This charming spot boasts an impressive menu featuring refined New American dishes, making it a go-to destination for food lovers. Guests rave about the mussels as a must-try appetizer and highlight the burger as one of their specialties. The atmosphere is rustic-chic, providing an inviting space to unwind while enjoying your meal.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The food is very very good. I'd recommend The Cajun Egg rolls! I had a Margarita and it was not light on tequila 😁 The service was top notch. Our server was patient and knowledgeable of all the items in the menu. Also my son wanted a Chicken sandwich but not spicy. So the chef made him one Crispy and he loved it! The SFP in Alpharetta is certainly one of the best. Check them out!!

Very nice patio and the prices were ok. The food was very good and so was the service. Quite honestly, I just drove by because I did not want to have lunch at my desk today and I felt that I could just be outside in the sun and these guys have a really nice patio with just the right amount of light shining on one of the tables. And that is where I went. I had a Nashville chicken sandwich which was spicy as expected and came with some nice fries . The pickles in it were very good, adding the right amount of sweet to the spicy of the sauce.
Ale C — Google review
As always we had great service and a great meal. Shrimp and Grits were perfectly on point but would have preferred no tails on shrimp since it is a fork meal. The poached pear side salad was really fresh & good but I would have liked more pear. I love that chicken and waffles came with bacon ice cream (yummy) and syrup on the side. So it was able to be dressed as you like it. We have never had a meal here that we didn't like. One of my other faves is the Shepherd's Pie.

Very nice pub. Our service was excellent and the food - very good. The only downfall side was that it was cold and damp outside, and they set us at a table close to the door. I should have asked for a different table further back in the dining room. My bad. Overall, we had a great experience, and I would highly recommend you try this place.

We randomly happened upon this spot and are so glad that we did. The food was outstanding, the service was attentive, and the booths were cozy. We started with the Louisiana egg rolls and highly recommend them. Then lunch was the chicken fried chicken, Nashville hot sandwich and the Salmon. All were delicious and chef quality. This is not at all your typical pub food. Highly recommend and we will be back!

I came here late for a work related meeting, when I arrived my colleagues received their food. I put my order in and it was link a blink of an eye, my food came right out shortly after theirs. I ordered the pan seared trout and it was DELICIOUS😋😋😋😋 I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant. You will not be disappointed.

We absolutely loved this restaurant!!! Our waitress was a short (like 4’10) vibrant smiles Disney princess. She was so bubbly and helped us pick the perfect food and drinks. The atmosphere and ambiance was so cozy and romantic 🥰. The food is everything we wanted to order more but didn’t want to seem greedy 😂 and the prices are reasonable for an everyday lunch/dinner vibe for you significant other. We most definitely will be back!!!!

We had the meatball app. - lamb and beef mix! 👍🏽 I had the she crab soup both very tasty. Would I go here again? Yes, great food and service!

Visiting family in Atlanta. Popped in the day before Thanksgiving while shopping at Avalon. Was worried we were going to get poor service because of all the shoppers. Not the case. Service was great and the food was better. We started w the corn chowder soup (very good). I had the Herb Grilled Chicken Waldorf Salad and my boyfriend had the Honey-Peach Grilled Chicken Sandwich. His sandwich was excellent. My salad was one of the best salads I have had in years. Yum!!!

Avalon is a beautiful area to shop and eat. We stopped at Branch & Barrel and it was a great choice. Really good service and atmoshpere (with outdoor seating). They have a really good food menu with appetizers, salads, entrees, sandwiches and burgers. The cucumber martini was not the best but the food and service still made it a great choice. I recommend 👌🏾

Delana is a ROCKSTAR. She is by far the best server I’ve ever had in any kind of restaurant. The food was incredible. I’ve been to the Avalon 50+ times over the years and am kicking myself for not having gone to this place sooner. I had the maple salmon and my partner had the pork chop. Both were perfectly cooked and so good. Growing up in Georgia I’ve had a lot of fish and a lot of pork and both of these dishes took first place. The Brie & Apples is incredible, as well as the deviled eggs. Then there’s the drinks. He chain smoker is such a devious twist on an old fashioned. It’s Smokey and dark and perfectly blended with flavors. The sun drunk is the perfect summer drink. Everything we had was top notch, but what really shocked me was the amazing staff. Like I said Delana was incredible. There was zero wait almost for anything. She came right out and greeted us and got our food and drinks to us super quick. Any time we come back, we’re asking for her!

Branch & Barrel exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm, stylish, and welcoming. The menu offers a perfect balance of creativity and comfort — every dish was thoughtfully crafted and packed with flavor. The [insert standout dish, e.g., bourbon-glazed pork chop or truffle fries] was an absolute highlight. The drink selection was impressive too — great craft cocktails and a solid bourbon list. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly, making the entire experience even better. Perfect spot for a night out, date, or special occasion. I’ll definitely be coming back — Branch & Barrel is a true gem!

Great location, with nice seating inside and outside + a nice bar. The food is very good the Brussels sprouts and candied bacon sweet potatoes are excellent appetizers. The salmon & shrimp was a perfect entree. Also the fish sandwich with bacon added hit the spot!

Omg you have to try this place! Went here for lunch today and the host was super sweet. Our server Vicki was very kind and amazing in making sure we were taken care of and had everything we needed. Caterer
Jerusalem Bakery & Grill is a delightful family-owned establishment that has been serving up authentic Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cuisine since 2009. With over four decades of experience, this bakery stands out as one of the largest suppliers of traditional baked goods in the southeastern United States. Guests can savor an array of mouthwatering dishes, including hearty beef shawarma, flavorful kufta kebab, and classic favorites like baba ghanoush and foul mudammas made from fava beans.
Overall, it was a great experience. I ordered the Chicken Trio ($26) and the Beef Trio ($28). While the food was good, the portion sizes didn’t quite match the price. The four side portions were especially small. They add a lot of yellow rice, which makes the plate look fuller than it actually is. On the positive side, the dining area was clean and well-maintained, and there was plenty of parking. If you're looking for a more budget-friendly option, the sandwiches are much cheaper than the plates.
Kelly L — Google review
The food was genuinely good—both the shawarma and kebabs were flavorful and well-prepared. I would’ve given a full 5-star rating, but the use of standard plastic cutlery was disappointing. Warm, freshly made food deserves to be served in proper silverware and non-plastic dishes. While this setup might be acceptable for food carts, it falls short for a sit-down restaurant experience. Despite the service and cutlery concerns, the food itself made the trip worthwhile.
Mohit P — Google review
This place? Instant favorite. Chicken shawarma that melts in your mouth, kabobs bursting with flavor, warm pockets, and don’t even get me started on the baklava. So savory. So good. Honestly, I’m just mad I didn’t find it sooner.
Marcus B — Google review
They have delicious food and the portion sizes are huge! Pictured is the beef sharwma and I also tried a slice of their baklava - quite sweet! Plenty of seating for big and small groups. This is more of a casual setting for a restaurant. Unfortunately no teas here but they have regular soft drinks.
Katlynn C — Google review
A great place for some delicious shawarma, platters , baklava, kunafe and other bakery items. The spicy chicken kabob was delicious and had a great flavor to it, the falafel on the veggie plate were delicious too. It had the salad, babaganuj, hummus, and rice. Overall a great place for some excellent food and bakery items to look for.

We shared the chicken kabob plate. It was absolutely delicious. Every item on the plate was fresh. I definitely over ate. So good!

I am a huge fan of the chicken Shawarma at Jerusalem bakery! My go to is the chicken Shawarma wrap ($10) Even if you’re not a hummus fan, I encourage you to try it! (It’s going to be totally different than what you have at the grocery store.) fresh hummus has a very light taste and matched with their fresh unleven bread (pita) - you’ll love it! They make everything fresh to order and will ask you if you want it spicy or regular. I encourage you to get everything that’s included because the flavors are amazing together. There’s not much else in this little hidden shopping center, so you’ll have plenty of parking. The atmosphere inside as you can see from the photos is not much but you can certainly eat them. I usually get mine to go.

Solid kabob spot! Came here for a work lunch and was really good. Everyone was happy with their meal, their combos are good and the platters come with lots of food. I got the beef kofta plater. The kofta was solid, but nothing special. The sides are all good.

Nestled just a short stroll from downtown Alpharetta, Made Kitchen & Cocktails is a chic and inviting eatery that specializes in Spanish tapas and shareable plates. The ambiance is warm and welcoming, featuring stunning reclaimed wood accents that create an inviting atmosphere. Guests can indulge in delightful dishes like the Wood Grilled Artichokes while sipping on expertly crafted cocktails made with fresh ingredients, including housemade bitters.
Highly recommend the Paella mixta!!! They use callispari rice, a specialty from Spain, which masterfully brings together all the different elements of the dish.

This place was just alright. The dishes were meh and a little forgettable. Manhattan was superb! Artichokes were not as I expected. The lemonbutter kicks you in the face and was weird for me. The beef short rib was tender and was reminiscent of a pot roast. Pretty tasty. Watermelon feta salad was alright, but when you add a side of balsamic it was way better. Scallops were alright. Didn't have much flavor. My favorite was the goatcheese covered in tomatoe sauce served with bread. That was amazing!
Just D — Google review
I was in the area and craving tapas, so I decided to give this place a try! I was really looking forward to eating the food, but unfortunately for me, I found several of the items I ordered to be extremely sour or salty! I mean, I tasted that salt upon first bite, and as I'm hypersensitive to salt, I can taste when something is extra salty. I ordered artichokes, plantains, mussels, angry clams, a salad, patatas bravas, and a meat item. Now plantains you can't mess up, so this was good. I found the dressing for the salad extremely sour and wasn't fan. The angry clams were extremely salty for me, and I've had better. I couldn't even enjoy the broth it was in because I couldn't get past the salt. I enjoyed my mussels, and this was my favorite tapas that I ate! The flavor on them was excellent and that bread, omg so good with picking up all the drippings! Between the tomatoes and all the flavors in that dish, it was outstanding! I enjoyed the artichokes, which were smoky. The fact you could taste that smokiness on them means it was done perfectly. Maybe just a tad bit sour, but I didn't mind it on my veggies. I've had better patatas bravas, but that seasoning on them was good. If the cut on them weren't as thick, I think I would have enjoyed them more. The dipping sauce it came with was good and a great addition to the potato. I will most likely try different items the next time, but overall, a solid meal that can be even better with less salt.

Enjoyed our experience on a Saturday evening. It was too busy inside we chose the outside patio so we could talk but overall it was very lively. Food was good too, we ordered a Game Over which was tasty but there were way too many low quality fries that we ordered as side most of it went to trash. Don’t go with fries on the side or at least one of you order it due to its abundance! Oh and the free appetizer popcorns were awesome too.

I'm with the other reviewers who gave low ratings. Last time we had been here was over a year ago and we loved it. We decided to go back in for old times sake, and oh my God, it's just horrible. The food is lackluster, the menu sounding great when you read it, but when you eat it, it's a different story. I mean, something simple like Mac and cheese should be just ooey gooey deliciousness, it's hard to mess up and they messed it up. The coleslaw just lacked flavor it was just basically cabbage. My pastrami Sandwich was just greasy and over buttery and just a mess in terms of fat. The app pigs in a blanket were over battered and greasy. The servers were great. We sat at the bar. Great guy, so the service is there. The atmospheres there, the food is Meh.

Stopped in during a hot day to quench thirst! Solid choice of local brews on draft (any hop head would appreciate), cocktails and wine list. Menu was smaller, but reflected some unique choices to compliment the focus on beverages. My only knock: wait staff shut kitchen down early on a Sunday evening with small number of patrons finishing dinner. All good as any reasonable customer would understand the cost complexity to manage the establishment. Conclusion: liked this place with it's bar / menu choices. Well worth a stop while walking through downtown Alpharetta!!

Love the ambiance! Decorations, service was good, however I am spending 2023 going on a wing taste testing tour! This was the first stop..positive part they cooked them fried hard exactly how I like them! FLAVOR: None!!!! Very bland for my taste buds.
Tamika W — Google review
Our waitress was very pleasant and they even turned on the overhead lamps outside when they saw that we were slightly cold. hey served free popcorn that was much too salty, but still tasty if you brush off the salt a bit. The mac & cheese wasn't too good because the cheese seemed more like alfredo sauce. The spicy mango wings were gross in my opinion; BEWARE! We settled for the truffle parmesan fries, which were JUST okay. (For the amount of toppings, thicker fries would make more sense.) The burger was great! The best part of our experience was the service, although a bit slow. They were pleasant. We may try them again one day.

The location, beers, and food are SO good. The beers alternate often which makes it really fun and exciting and allows you to try new things. You literally can't beat their popcorn. I highly recommend the paleo bowl and the burger personally, but everyone I've brought here has always loved everything they have gotten as well. The staff is always friendly and the overall aesthetic within the restaurant is really nice. Highly recommend.

Concept I love! I love a place that focuses on good smoke meats and beer. But something is missing... They do not brew their own beer and the meat is not the star of the menu. Instead each sandwich is over dressed with toppings and sauce. Great pub food but they are less than 5 minutes from Jekyll brewing, so they need to be unique. I will eat here again but not rushing back anytime soon.

From the moment we walked in, the staff was friendly and welcoming. Not very long after we were seated, we were greeted by our server named Curtis. He was excellent at retaining exactly what we asked for and made suggestions that complimented what we already wanted. Everything we ordered tasted so good! EVERYTHING. He also payed great attention to what we needed before we even asked for it. Curtis was so attentive to us that I will be asking for him, specifically, when we return. Curtis made our overall experience at Coalition 10 out of 10. He deserves all the things and definitely all the tips. 👌🏽

“Birthday Celebration Turned into a Perfect Dining Experience” Tonight we experienced excellence and truly discovered a gem! We came here to celebrate my nephew’s birthday—he wanted the seafood tower, and it did not disappoint. We started with the Rhode Island Calamari, and that lemon aioli dipping sauce was perfect. The Cajun Crab Dip was divine—do yourself a favor and ask for extra bread, because you’ll want every last bite. The Oyster Sampler (two chargrilled, two supreme, and two Rockefeller) was also very tasty. I usually stick to salmon, but tonight I branched out and had the Blackened Redfish with dirty rice and crab Pontchartrain sauce. Let me tell you—I ate every single bite. I normally take food home, but not tonight! My husband had the Jumbo Lump Crab Cake with whipped potato, asparagus, and creole mustard—he loved it. Our drinks were just as impressive. I had the Brown Sugar Old Fashioned (so good!) while my husband enjoyed the Grapefruit Agave Old Fashioned. My nephew’s girlfriend had the Pink Sea Foam, and it was so good she ordered a second one. Now for the service—outstanding from the moment we walked in. Our server, Devinn, was knowledgeable and her recommendations were on point. A lady who checked on us several times, whom I first assumed was the manager, turned out to be one of the owners. Her passion for the business really showed in how much she cared about our experience. Yes, it’s a little on the pricey side, but absolutely worth it for the quality of food, service, and atmosphere. Everything was seasoned to perfection. The ambiance was amazing—soft music inside, a one-man band outside, and even an oyster bar window with outdoor seating for a great walk-up experience. Overall, I give this place a 10 out of 10. It was well worth the one-hour drive and the traffic. We will definitely be back!

I had an amazing experience at Coalition. Devin, my server was phenomenal. She has a genuinely great spirit and was very helpful when choosing from the menu considering I had never been there. The manager was also wonderful. The food, spectacular! Everything was hot and delicious. I had crab cakes, fried lobster, salmon. I had the mango bread pudding which was the best bread pudding I ever had in my life! If you are looking for a fancy place for a great evening out I highly recommend.

What am incredible dining experience! Stop scrolling book your reservation right now because you won't find a better spot!! The food was delicious! We ordered the Steak Sampler with the fingerling potatoes with an extra side of the brocollini. The lamb was so tender, and the ribeye and filet were amazing too. Ask for a side of garlic butter; it's heavenly! I also thoroughly enjoyed my drink: Pear Dream. Our server, Derek, delivered great service and was funny to boot! Harrison, who filled our water glasses, was warm and personable. The lady who was either the manager or some type of supervisor was also an absolute delight--and brought round the bottle of St. George's Spiced Pear liquor with a taster so that we could try it on its own and grab a bottle for ourselves! We also received two compliments from other waiters which was so lovely. We noted how wonderful everyone who worked there seemed to be, so you can't go wrong! The only thing I will note is that it gets loud inside, and the acoustics were not good where we were sitting, so it was difficult to hear Derek half the time. However, that is not a reason to pass this place over!

Perfect timing! I just so happened to be in the neighborhood during the Singer Songerwriter festival and stopped into Coalitions Food for a bite to eat and front row seat to the show. The staff was friendly and attentive and the food was so fresh! I’m a very picky eater so I definitely rate restaurants on how well they can do simple things. The wings were fresh and well seasoned. The Green Goddess dressing on the salad was phenomenal! Ultimately, the restaurant and GM are impeccable and embody the spirit of hospitality and I’m sure anyone and everyone would feel welcome here.

Really enjoyed my meal at Coalition! Didn’t get anything too crazy (beet salad + truffle fries) but it was quite good. I could tell the food was fresh and the service was excellent. There was a musician singing/playing guitar as well which was nice. Highly recommend!

The char-grilled oysters were fantastic they reminded me of one of my favorite spots in New Orleans. I also ordered the grouper sandwich, which was fried to perfection. I wasn’t a big fan of all the toppings on it, so I set those aside. My boyfriend tried the brunch breakfast and really enjoyed the fried lobster and waffles.

Chicken wings restaurant
Takeout Restaurant
Sports bar
Buffalo Wild Wings is a popular eatery known for its assortment of wings, tenders, and burgers. The menu offers an array of flavorful sauces encompassing a wide range of tastes, from sweet to extremely hot. With a variety of options available, customers can enjoy delicious poultry dishes complemented by an extensive selection of tangy and spicy condiments.
This place offers a fun space to gather with seating options at the bar, table, high top, booth, couch/lounge chairs, and outside seating. Plenty of TVs to watch your favorite game. I stopped in for a late lunch over the weekend and it was pretty slow, but the service was fast and the food was good! Awesome service. Can't beat the pricing on the "Deals All Day" options.

I recently had an extremely disappointing experience at Buffalo Wild Wings. To my shock, I found a strand of hair embedded in one of the chicken wings I ordered. This raised serious concerns about the restaurant’s hygiene and food preparation standards, which should always be a top priority. What made the situation worse was the poor customer service. When I brought the issue to the staff’s attention, they were dismissive and showed little concern or professionalism. Rather than apologizing or resolving the problem, their indifference only added to my frustration. This experience has left me questioning the cleanliness and service at this location. A restaurant should ensure both quality food and respectful treatment of its customers. Sadly, Buffalo Wild Wings failed on both counts. I cannot recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a safe and enjoyable dining experience.

Now im gonna be honest my server was ok but the food sucked the fries where cold and when I asked for more they seem to be redroped because they was hard I cracked a tooth on it I will not be coming back here. The nachos were just thrown together. I'm highly disappointed in this location. Fire the Cook and get a new or throw the whole management away

I was initially hesitant to try this location after reading some of the previous reviews, but I’m glad we gave it a chance. Our experience was excellent from start to finish. The food was fresh, served quickly, and everything came out in a timely manner. The manager was actively engaged—checking on guests and supporting the team, which made a noticeable difference. The entire staff worked well together and created a welcoming, efficient atmosphere. We enjoyed it so much, we came back a second time during our trip—and had the same great experience! Friendly smiles, attentive service, and great food both times. We had nothing but a positive experience and would definitely return.

Great place to watch a game or 3. TV's everywhere and a huge one against the wall. We were there on Thursday to watch UGA V Notre Dame. It was crowded but the service was still okay. No wait for a seat but if I'm being critical our actual server was a bit slow. However the game was a great distraction from our hunger. The good...we were able to order several flavors of wings that looked good on the menu. The bad...they weren't hot (temperature) or very tasty when they came. With that being said, yes I would go back maybe I'll try a burger next time.
Geraldd W — Google review
The brisket burger and margarita were excellent. Ditto for the dry lemon pepper wings. Unfortunately the naked chicken tenders with mango jalapeno sauce were really not good. Great place for a dinner with friends though it may take a time or two to find what is excellent for you. The triple dip nachos were very good but didn't have enough nachos for three kinds of dip.
Phil S — Google review
I've been to this Buffalo Wild Wings a few times and the service has been consistently slow. Each visit, I've waited 25–30 minutes just to get seated even when the restaurant is nearly empty. I don't think it's the staff’s fault. They look like they're doing their best, but there just aren’t enough people there. On my most recent (and final) visit, I waited over 30 minutes without anyone coming to take my order. I ended up leaving and going to the Taco Bell next door instead. If you want to watch a game, just watch it at home and save yourself the headache.
Manal P — Google review
Honestly some of the best wings I’ve had at any BWW franchise since the early 2000s. The all you can eat wings are a great deal, and each order came out hot, fresh, and well sauced. HUGE wings! The biggest wings I’ve seen in a while, not just at BWW. I really hope this is an indication of a turning point for the franchise and not just this location. I would give five stars in service but our food came out a tad slow despite our server being excellent. This was actually kind of good though because it gave time for my stomach to prepare for the next round of wings and I’d rather the food take a little longer if the quality is good; which it was.

Mexican restaurant
Restaurant
El Trompo Mexican Taqueria is a vibrant and cozy eatery in Alpharetta, known for its authentic Mexican street food. The restaurant's name pays homage to the traditional rotating spit used in cooking spiced pork. It's a local favorite, especially for their carne asada fries and street-style corn tacos that never disappoint. The place exudes a true Mexican vibe, making it a must-visit spot for those craving genuine flavors.
If you're looking for something that will rock your taste buds off, this is it, my friends! Things you should know: I. PARKING El Trompo is in a plaza and shares a free public lot out front. There are plenty of available spaces. II. SERVICE Everything is ordered at the register. It's not a sit and order type of deal. We like that there's a salsa bar as a part of the dining experience. III. QUALITY The meat won us over! Chicken can be pretty bland but they really know how to even whip that up with tons of flavor. As for healthy food options? Eh, you're not going to find much of that here. IV. CAPACITY Fair amount of available seating on a weekday night. I assume this restaurant satisfies a majority of their customers through online orders.

The burrito is absolutely massive, know that before you go in. They have an option for a mini burrito, so unless you’re famished, that might be the better option. The burrito is tasty, though. The price also reflects the size. About $17 with tax for a chicken burrito. Also, note that it comes with pineapples so you’ll have to ask for them to leave those out if that’s not your vibe. Friendly service, relatively quick for take out. Easy access and tons of parking.

Wow!! The food was delicious and fresh! Some of the best chicken tacos and guacamole I've ever had. They have a great drink menu too with fresh juices, beer and wine. Quick and friendly service too. I will definitely be back!

GF and I had dinner here for Taco Tuesday, and we ordered 3 pork tacos, 1 steak taco, and 1 pork burrito. We waited 30 minutes for the order to come out wrong, and they gave 2 steak tacos and 2 pork tacos. We advised the lady at the front that the order was wrong, and she reluctantly returned to the kitchen to return the extra steak taco and gave us the pork taco they forgot earlier. GF and I each took a single bite from the first two pork tacos, and ended up spitting out the food because we quickly discovered the pork was extremely burnt and crispy. GF advised the lady the pork was extremely burnt, but the lady stated that’s how the pork is normally made. However, the quality of the pork in these two tacos were obviously different from the pork in the third pork taco and pork burrito. The lady stated that because we took a bite out of our food, she could do nothing. After the lady saw us taking pictures of the burnt pork, she attempted to serve 2 new pork tacos to us. Then, a drunk patron next to us became upset because we took photos of the food and angrily asked us, “how much free food do you need”. We declined the tacos and quickly left due to the known drunk becoming increasingly agitated. I’ve been coming here for the past 7 years, and the quality and service has never ever been this bad before. The lady and staff are usually very nice, and things could’ve easily been handled better.

We were served by a very kind lady. we ordered the aguas frescas and they are not actually pineapple and mango aguas frescas they are artificial flavors. and we really didn't like it. since the cold food also arrived. we ordered tacos al pastor, tacos de asada, cheese sauce and chorizo. The taco al pastor was missing the pineapple. the asada tacos were average. The only good thing was the cheese and chorizo dip. but I feel sincere I am not impressed.

A few years ago, I stumbled upon this tiny Mexican spot tucked away in Johns Creek. It had surprisingly many great reviews, so my curiosity got the best of me. And wow, there was a reason! Nestled in a charming historic house, Restaurant Holmes offers a delightful dining experience with its creative small plates and seasonal American cuisine. This neighborhood gem, the first to grace Alpharetta City Center, is helmed by Chef Taylor Neary, who brings his expertise from renowned establishments like Marcel and St. Cecilia. The menu is ever-evolving, ensuring that each visit can bring new culinary surprises.
The barley risotto with mushrooms, roasted beets with asparagus, and cauliflower were all really great! I’ve read some of the other reviews about portion size, and I get it, it’s not a huge portion, but you definitely get your money’s worth on the flavor, quality and creativity coming out of the kitchen! Come here for the joy of eating great food and you won’t be disappointed.

First time at Holmes. We had a good experience, and there is room for improvement. Two plates out of five I had I will recommend. The scallops and seared tuna. Table service was fine, but it could definitely improve with attention to detail. Nice addition to the area with room to grow. I will give it another try, once the menu has been updated for the season. Worth trying it.

Beautiful big patio and EXCELLENT service!! Don was very attentive and friendly. The drinks are excellent & strong, but a little pricey ($15). We didn’t pay that much for drinks on the rooftop across the street where there’s a better view and in the sun. We were offered a special they had from a party the night before that was “more tender than filet Mignon” (wagyu) but it was very chewy and did not live up to our expectations of what wagyu is. The price is normally $50-60 so $32 was a great price but again it wasn’t impressive. We would come back and try something else in the future since the drinks, patio & service was nice but overall just ok.

Great tasting tapas and drinks! We all had a good time. I do think the mixed drinks are a little overpriced and some of the tapas as well! Excellent quality foods and fantastic customer service all around!

Ordered the cauliflower and asparagus which where both tasty but also heavy. We ordered veggies to eat lite and lean but instead it was cheesy and oily. The salads were on point and delicious. The ambience was cool and it was convenient to downtown. Lastly our service was quick and attentive but the really bad breath made that experience obviously awkward. The kind were you can smell it 5 ft away and gag. How do you tell your waiter to get a mint or brush their teeth?

Plenty of options for everyone. The watermelon salad was my favorite. Small plates and portions. Great for sharing. The drinks are also good. Nice outdoor patio. Plenty of social distancing and an amazingly friendly staff.

Although the service and atmosphere was outstanding yhe food wasn't as good. The corn dish was excellent and the carrot dish had a nice sauce but don't expect orange carrots. The hamburger was a bit dry. Even with all that the service is what got the 3 stars...maybe we just picked the wrong things.
Kristen H — Google review
Amazing spot. Every dish was fantastic. Seriously, all 6 we had were phenomenal. Crispy octopus was perfectly cooked with extraordinary mint, garlic aioli and honey combination. House-made CeCe e Pepe was simple in appearance, but chewy texture and fresh parmesan flavor were surprisingly impressive. Ribeye with jalapeno aioli was deliciously savory, and who doesn't love a well seasoned waffle fry?! Duck with roasted root vegetables in creamy mashed potatoes and gravy was succulent and delectable. Desserts were a flawless finish. Apple toffee cake with homemade vanilla soft serve was guiltily sublime. The chocolate dome filled with black forest mousse atopped with raspberry drizzle was exquisite. Great service and gorgeous atmosphere. Definitely a new fave.

Best burgers I’ve had in forever. The male staff could be better. The girl that was working there was actually helpful and explained to us how everything even the fountain drinks were self serve. She was very nice . The men need some customer service training.

The service was quick but oh man that burger. For starters there was a hair in it and i’m pretty sure it was under cooked. Thank God I didn’t chow down on it. The fry’s were good and the onion rings were okay. Had it not been for the burger they would’ve gotten five stars.

We used to come here all the time, the food is great, but the current staff is incredibly disrespectful. Our food came out completely wrong, and when we asked for it to be fixed, they initially told us to eat it or throw it away. After they finally agreed to fix it, they loudly ridiculed us from the kitchen for 10 minutes. I’ve genuinely never seen such behavior before. As long as the current staff is here, we will not be eating at this location.

Great burgers and fries, chicken strips were good. I wish that we had the option to order from a person as we accidentally picked cheese fries when we wanted regular. The scanner to fill the pop cups was also a major pain and didn't work correctly.

Haven't eaten in a Steak n Shake in a long time. This location had no servers, only screens to order. Service was good. The food fresh and tasty. The fries with seasoned salts brings back memories. No milkshakes this time.

I had a disappointing experience during my visit at 3:08PM on Monday, July 14, 2025. I overheard sarcastic comments being made by one employee to another staff member who was helping me with my order (for no reason). Additionally, when I requested to omit a condiment (ketchup packets) after calling my son to confirm that did not want them, I received an unprofessional facial expression in response. As a customer placing a simple order for my teenager, I expected courteous service. I maintained a polite demeanor throughout the interaction and made a reasonable request. I believe additional customer service training would be beneficial for your staff. While I’ve experienced some service issues with this location in the past, this particular interaction was really unprofessional and could have been avoided.

My brother and I had a fantastic drive-through experience. Great customer service through the drive-through super nice people inside the restaurant from what we could tell. The food was delicious and affordable love the new beef tollow fries. Also, our milkshake was the bomb in my opinion It’s better than Whataburger in every way including wait times customer service And flavor. Steak ‘n Shake making a comeback and we are here for it!
Matt R — Google review
Just went by the drive-through and the girl at the drive-through was huffing and puffing. She had a terrible attitude so I decided to cancel my order and drive off because I didn’t want to take any risk that my food will be tampered with. Not sure if the work environment is toxic. Typically, when employees behave that way, even with the customers, it’s because they hate their job. So I’m not blaming the employee, although we are all adults and we should know better. However, I am blaming the company. Make sure your employees feel motivated, are in good spirits, and know how to conduct themselves professionally. A bit bummed because I really wanted some steak ‘n Shake. First world problems, I know. Lastly, I just tried to call the establishment and of course no one picked up. Just saying.

There is absolutely NOTHING I can say negative about my birthday visit. EVERYONE and EVERYTHING was superb! The host Diamond and my waitress service was hands down top tier. I will definitely be back. Did I say I LOVED my experience? Lol ❤️. I had a birthday voucher so my meal was covered in case you're wondering why my tab was so reasonable.

Ocean & Acre quickly won me over, starting with a warm welcome and immediate seating during their Happy Hour. As a devoted oyster lover, I couldn’t resist trying a half dozen to start—and they were absolutely delightful. Medium brine, buttery texture, and plenty of briny liquor made each one a treat. I went back for seconds without hesitation. The Blackened Salmon Tacos were just as impressive. The spice from the salmon, the crunch of the slaw, and that tangy, house-made remoulade came together beautifully—bold, flavorful, and balanced. Great food, great vibes. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

We had the best experience at Ocean & Acre this past weekend on 11/15 while celebrating my mom’s birthday! 🥳 From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The food was amazing, fresh, and beautifully prepared, and the customer service was truly outstanding. A huge thank-you to Juan and Isabelle for going above and beyond to make our celebration special!! 🙏🏽☺️ Their kindness, attention to detail, and warm personalities made the day unforgettable. The managers Jovanny and Juan were also fantastic—welcoming, professional, and genuinely committed to making sure we had a wonderful time. Ocean & Acre is the perfect place for a birthday celebration or any special occasion. We absolutely love this restaurant and can’t wait to come back!! They also wrote my mom a birthday card!! We are lifetime customers here!! Thank you, Ocean & Acre, for an amazing evening! 🌟🍽️🎉

My first time here was a great experience. Our waiter made a few recommendations and was spot on. All our meals pictured were delicious! Will definitely add to my regular line up. Even though a week before Christmas, there was a decent lunch crowd, mostly work groups. The food was fresh, hot and served quickly. I wish the weather was warmer because the outdoor patio area was cozy & beautiful. There was a good clean vibe; sea decor & planked walls; simple table settings and could accommodate different sized groups.

Being one of the top Google reviewers for restaurants, I find myself uniquely qualified to speak about both service and food. I’ve visited countless restaurants across the country, and I have never experienced service as exceptional as what I received at Ocean & Acre in Alpharetta, Georgia. My server, Alex, a young lady who is exceptionally kind, pleasant, and attentive, went above and beyond to ensure every guest had a wonderful experience. She was highly knowledgeable about the menu and beverages, offering thoughtful suggestions that turned out to be absolutely perfect. Paul, the manager, is equally impressive when it comes to customer service. He makes it his mission to ensure that every guest is satisfied, constantly monitoring the dining area and engaging with customers — something rarely seen in today’s restaurant industry. The ambiance of Ocean & Acre is absolutely amazing. The architectural design and layout make it the perfect spot for a date night or celebrating a special occasion like a birthday. While the food was good, I would say the outstanding atmosphere and impeccable customer service more than made up for any minor shortcomings. There’s ample parking available, although I did not notice designated handicap parking directly in front of the restaurant. I highly recommend the Lobster Bisque and Clam Chowder — both were delicious. Another detail I loved, as the manager pointed out, is that their outdoor fireplaces are made from clam shells shaped like bricks — a beautiful and unique touch. Ocean & Acre is truly a great place to relax with friends and enjoy an exceptional dining experience. Don’t walk — run — to Ocean & Acre Seafood Restaurant in Alpharetta, Georgia!

Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams is a popular chain known for its creative flavors of ice cream and frozen yogurt made from local ingredients. Visitors are often blown away by the wide selection of artisan and popular flavors, making it almost impossible to choose just one. The ice cream is described as creamy and sweet, with the waffle bowl adding a light and crispy touch. Customers appreciate the friendly service, generous scoops, and the opportunity to learn about the history and quality of the ice cream.
Went here on a late night Saturday night probably about 1130p. There was a line out the door, but it went by really really quickly. The staff is super nice. The flavors are very full-bodied and it’s a thicker ice cream. You can definitely taste the simple ingredients. It’s delicious but not a place of low-calorie food. This is in an area called Avalon Park so there is plenty of parking and walking. There are benches by nice trees and there is also a fire pit outside of the shop where you can sit and enjoy ice cream.

So many flavors but I always get confused on which to pick. That's Jeni's :) Located in the gorgeous Avalon mall that's always bustling with people, Jeni's with it's bright colors is pretty easy to spot. Ambience is very inviting, employees are super nice and the ice cream flavors always have something new to offer. It's delicious! And most importantly, there are so many gluten-free ice cream options! Ice cream parlors usually have gluten-free ice cream, but I couldn't eat it because of the contact. When I told them I have celiac disease, I was greeted very kindly. The employee there opened a new ice cream container from the inside and put on a clean spoon and gloves and put the ice creams I wanted. It was the best gesture I've ever seen and it gave me confidence. A place as sweet as their ice cream. Mmmmm!

The chiming sound when you walk in is HORRIBLE. It's extraordinarily loud and ear piercing. The donuts are below average and they only offer about 5 different ones which are not labeled or described at all. They had 11 different ice cream flavors which were very unappetizing artificial looking colors, also not labeled nor described. The service was obligatorily pleasant at best. I'm not sure how they plan to pay their rent offering as little as they offer. It seems like a lot of wasted empty space inside, and there's very little from which to choose. Skip it.

This place is great. Really tasty fork and knife style donuts, homemade ice cream with flavors you cannot get elsewhere and some of the best coffee and lattes I've ever had. Update: This place has only gotten better with age. They now offer brewed teas, frappes, shakes and floats. One thing we've learned is to come early as the donuts are made fresh daily so once they're gone, they're gone. Even with this the ice cream flavors are delicious and unlike anything else with greats drinks and desert options. The staff rocks and couldn't be better.

It was my first time visiting and though my kids were extremely excited to try all the donuts they had I'm not super big on overly sweet stuff. The owner let me know that they can customize a donut to my taste. I asked for a plain donut and one with just glaze for my kids (we'd just come from the Roswell youth day parade and they had eaten a mountain of candy) the donut by itself was sooooooooo good! It was soft yet dense not too sweet and a light salty savor and hint of a butter taste. It was as if a croissant was a donut. I started imagining what I could pair with it! I just may have to order a dozen plain. I'll definitely be back! Excellent service great place. Beautifully decorated and immaculately clean.

Love this place! Quality ice cream, flavorful coffee options, and fancy donuts are definitely my thing! Store is lit up and well kept. Great service for sampling the ice cream to go with my Affogato. It was my first time here and I have added this to my favorite list.

I love this place! The donuts are so amazing. I'm not a donut person at all but these donuts always leave me craving for more. I first had these at work when a customer bought them in and have been addicted. My husband and I do not live in the area but I wanted to stop in so he could try them out. The shop is very spacious and very clean, it is bright and open and very pretty. The counteracts and displays are very open and clean as well. There were tons of donuts to pick from. They also have specialty ice creams and coffee as well. We love ice cream and had to try out the ice cream. My husband had the birthday cake ice cream and really enjoyed it, I tried a sample of the mango ice cream and can't wait to go back and get a scoop but ultimately I settled for the Taro flavor which was soo yummy! The prices are a bit more expensive than your average ice cream shop but the taste was so worth it. The donuts are very yummy as well. I am taking a half dozen to my mom, aunt, & grandma for mother's day so I'm excited for their reaction. Our house guest enjoyed his donut for breakfast so all in all it was a yummy treat. The donuts we bought were two white chocolate peach, two apple crisp, two cereal killer, chocolate Elvis, two Blueberry, & two mango, & birthday surprise.

Five Guys is a fast-food chain that specializes in made-to-order burgers, fries, and hot dogs. Customers can enjoy free peanuts while they wait for their meal. Many people, especially kids, have a preference for Five Guys due to its consistent quality and reasonable prices compared to Shake Shack. One notable aspect of this restaurant is their generous portion sizes of overflowing fries. The experience at Five Guys is often praised for its excellent service and satisfying taste.
Great burgers, fries, and service! The food taste is great and doesn't give me gurgles and digestive issues like food from other places does. Staff is friendly and helpful. The place is squeaky clean. Love the customizarion options and the free peanuts! Simply the best burgers around North Point Mall.

I haven’t had Five Guys in a few years. My daughter suggested it so I agreed. I ordered a Cheeseburger with mayo, lettuce , tomato & grilled onions and a little fry. As is the norm with Five Guys, the fries were hot & fresh & the burger was hot & juicy. This was my 1st time eating Five Guys in Georgia & it tastes exactly like the one in Michigan.

Nothing beats Five Guys! Awesome burgers and a huge portion of fresh cut French fries. They have hotdogs and other options, but since the burgers are always perfectly made, we have yet to try anything else. We specifically search for "five guys near me" when traveling.

The kids and I really enjoy Five Guys. Everything is more expensive these days but at least the quality of the food is consistent at this location. And honestly, I prefer Five Guys over Shake Shack as they are priced similarly - at least they overflow the fries here and who doesn't love the peanuts! 3 cheeseburgers, 2 medium (overflowing) fries and 2 sodas = $53

I have visited and eaten at dozens of stores, but the staff at this store are the most cheerful, the most disciplined, the fastest, and they deserve my thanks. I thank all the staff.

It's been a hot minute since I've had Five Guys and this was such a nice warm welcome back. The burger was so fulfilling and the fries were FRESH!

Breakfast restaurant
Fellows Cafe is a charming spot located on Green Street, nestled under a century-old oak tree. The cafe offers a cozy and historic ambiance for breakfast, lunch, and cocktails. It's housed in a creatively reimagined 1890s Victorian home with indoor seating as well as spacious front patio and peaceful backyard garden outdoor options. The cafe aims to provide an all-day dining experience with quality coffee and even cocktail offerings.
I've been to Fellows a couple times before and since it was my sister's birthday and she's a lover of delicious food, I recommended we come here. It was perfect. Our server was great and made my sister feel special. The food was delicious and fresh. We left feeling full, had leftovers to go home with and enjoyed everything about our brunch. Highly recommend!

Good hearty southern breakfast/brunch food. Wide variety of drinks, both hot and cold. Right sized meals and made fresh Note - cinnamon sourdough i heard is very popular, but they run out of it very fast. So get there early to taste it and also beat the wait time. We had an hour and a half wait time. Definitely recommend this place 👌
Rashmi N — Google review
Excellent. I'm so happy I stopped by for lunch and a coffee. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The dish I had, Sweet Potato Eggs Benedict, was so yummy. It was just the right sized meal not to overstuff me, and the coffee was perfect. This restaurant takes the extra steps to make your meal experience visually great as well. They aren't rushing the plate out missing details that make it right, yet the wait time wasn't long at all. I can't say enough, and will be back again soon to try another dish I spotted on the menu. Also, a wine and dinner pairing is coming up soon. Bet that will be great!!.

This place was highly recommended to us while we were in town. They had a lot of seating available inside and out but we opted to sit at the bar to get quick service. This place was pretty busy, you have to find parking on the side streets so we had to walk a bit to get there. We stopped in for some coffee and tried their famous sourdough cinnamon roll. I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect because I’ve never had anything like it, but it was totally worth it! The coffee was delicious and that cinnamon roll was amazing. The frosting was mouthwatering, the texture was firm but also soft and crispy. Staff were friendly, they make a good cup of coffee and the place had good vibes overall. Can’t wait to go back!

Charming brunch spot with serious curb appeal (and food to match—if you’re patient) Fellows Café is one of those rare gems filled with charm the moment you pull up: it’s tucked inside a beautifully restored old house complete with a white picket fence, a big shady tree out front, and a sweet little garden in the back. It’s dog-friendly, cozy, and filled with Southern Charm in all the best ways. It’s a go-to for a weekend brunch with friends or family visiting from out of town, and I’ve been about half a dozen times. The food is creative, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared—but do yourself a favor and make a reservation and come prepared to wait. Whether it’s waiting for water, your coffee, or your food after ordering, service tends to be a bit slow no matter what time you go. I guess it’s part of the deal here—adorable but not fast… Favorites I keep coming back for: • The Fellows Board – perfect if you like a little bit of everything, great as a starter for a group or even just two of you if you have a big appetite like my husband and I always do! • The Usual – scrambled eggs, bacon, avocado, greens, roasted sweet potatoes, & small slice of rustic sourdough • B.E.L.T. – bacon, egg, kale, tomato, & aioli = yes please • The Grain Bowl add poached eggs • Breakfast Salad – don’t sleep on it, add extra egg or bacon The Fumbally Toast is always talked about, but honestly, I don’t get the hype—it’s just okay. And while the Huevos Rancheros are good, there are definitely stronger versions elsewhere in town. Overall, Fellows Café is more about the experience—the atmosphere, the vibe, and the fresh air on the porch with a pup by your side. Just don’t come in a rush.
Leah K — Google review
If you haven’t been, I don’t know what you’re doing. Order the sourdough bun, you’re welcome. Fellows is like a big ole hug from a friend. I discovered this gem years ago on a trip to GA. Now it’s a spot I refuse to miss. I was recently visiting with my Aunt for a short trip to the mountains from FL. We stopped for lunch at Fellows. It was my Aunts first time. If she heard me talk about this sourdough cinnamon bun one more time I think she’d leave me on the side of the road. When we ordered was informed they were out for the day. Figures. I asked for bread and they were also out. Major respect for any place who makes and sells out daily. Less food waste. So the sweet server told us to come back if we had time and of course we did. We made sure to swing by on our way home and grab a bun, the general manager, Imani, was so kind to give us a loaf of bread sharing that the server had told her about how we came from out of town. This place is special. It really is. So go already and if you’ve been you already know.

Fellows is absolutely amazing! The food is incredibly fresh and exactly what you need after a long week. Their breakfast feels like a warm, home-cooked meal that truly hits the spot. And don’t even get me started on the lattes—hands down my favorite! This place is a gem and the perfect spot to recharge and enjoy delicious, comforting food.

I got the peach cold brew coffee. Def didn't taste peach, the price was a bit steep for the small martini glass it was served in. I got the usual for breakfast. It had a perfect amount of food and a good variety. The outside seating area was nice. However, lots of bees which kind of dampened the vibes.

Rena's Italian Fishery & Grill in Alpharetta, GA, is a must-visit destination for seafood and Italian cuisine enthusiasts. This charming eatery prides itself on serving freshly made pasta daily and sourcing the finest meats and seafood to ensure every dish bursts with flavor. The inviting atmosphere is complemented by an impressive wine selection, with a knowledgeable sommelier ready to assist you in pairing the perfect bottle with your meal.
Nice Italian restaurant in Alpharetta. Appetizers were good. The crab bisque soup was also good. The peppered chicken Alfredo was delicious. I was told the steaks were also good. Get the Baileys coffee cake after dinner and you can thank me later.

Had dinner from Rena’s Italian Fishery & Grill. Excellent service, a wide variety of delicious dishes, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. The food is fresh and flavorful, with standout options like the seafood and handmade pastas. A perfect spot for a cozy dinner or special occasion—highly recommend!

Excellent service from Tyler! We ordered the crab cake, grilled trout with broccolini and shrimp and scallop scampi. The crab cake wasn’t my favorite however I appreciate the amount of crab in each cake and my husband enjoyed it. Loved the scampi! The lemon butter sauce added a great flavor to the trout. The broccolini was slightly undercooked and I needed a steak knife to cut it. For dessert we enjoyed the butterscotch crème brûlée which was delightful. Nice ambience!

My friends brought me to Rena's Italian restaurant and the service was top notch. The menu has a lot of varieties. I ordered the lobster ravioli, even that said cherry tomatoes, it taste more in the citrus side of flavor. It was a unique flavor, which I enjoyed. I didn't take a photo of a empty plate. The ricotta cheesecakenit was light and fluffy, maybe too light for me, but the cream brulee was great and the chocolate mousse will be great without the hard cold brownie. I would return to try more dishes.

I went with a group and for the most part everyone enjoyed what they got. The calamari and fresh bread were amazing, and the cocktails were delicious. My main course, the sea-bass, was average. It was just okay. However, the group loved the entrees they received and after trying their’s I think I might have just gotten the wrong item. I definitely would come back to try again and see how other plates are different. The service was exceptional! Our waiter was funny and very attentive. He answered all our questions and even gave us some amazing suggestions.

Food was decent. It was my wife’s b’day. I thought I was making it special but I guess not. It seemed like the gentleman serving us was in a super hurry. I wanted to get us some deserts to celebrate the milestone birthday, but I guess that was not on the cards since we were offered our check instead of the desert menu. It is what it is. But I would think twice before visiting this restaurant again. Plenty more that have better . We ordered a bottle of Tomaresca Chardonnay ($12 retail) at $48 at the restaurant. Now, we would love to pay the premium for the service but should I have paid 3x for the service we never received? Yeah I am not sure.

Service and vibe were great. Food was not good at all. We got the veal piccata and buratta salad. Both were super salty. How a buratta salad is very salty and peppery is a mystery. My wife couldnt finish the veal it was that salty. She also had an espresso martini which she said was excellent.

I enjoyed my evening there and the service right from walking in, was warm and welcoming. I sat outside to enjoy the evening and they did not delay in service at all. I ordered the mushroom ravioli and had no problem cleaning my plate. It was decadent. Sarah my wonderful waitress and Brad(sorry if I butchered it) were excellent as well as those who came by and brought out various dishes. Worth the visit and will definitely be going back. Thank you for making my first visit wonderful.

Embracing the Japanese philosophy of kaizen, JINYA constantly refines its flavors to offer soul-comforting ramen that never fails to satisfy.
We had a great dinner at Jinya today! Aaron took great care of us and we had a lovely time. The buns and chicken were perfect as always. I tried the birria ramen. Was good but probably will stick to the usual ramen next time.

The food was good however I did not care for the service. Our waitress was very slow, while I saw others get service a lot better that came in n way after we did. I ordered a flight beer, but it did not come until we finished our food, I had to send it back because I would have had to sit there and finish it when we had finished our food. I will not be back unless I am invited. I will keep going to “The Ramen Spot” great local place where the staff is friendly, food is great and half the price of this JINYA.

Have always been a fan of jinya. First discovered it in Atlanta and glad that they are closer to home in Alpharetta. Cannot go wrong with anything in their menu. Love that they cater to different dietary preferences. I love my veggies and like that there’s kale noodles as an option. My current obsession is their miso glazed eggplant. So yummy!

We drive from Chattanooga, TN to go here because it’s my favorite ramen hands down! And I’ve tried many but I look for spiciness! I always get the premium black ramen level 10 & it’s definitely the spiciest ramen out there!!! Chefs kiss!!!! So delicious but only get that high level it if you love real spicy food. They offer a level 1-10. It makes my fiancé sweat! The birria ramen is also amazing. They have several other options that are all absolutely delicious! Can’t go wrong with anything you get. The chicken appetizer and shrimp tempura appetizer is amazing and the sushi is great as well! We have also tried the octopus balls which were good. The alcohol drink options include a wide variety, and the non alcoholic drinks are also good. We go here often because it’s my favorite restaurant ever, hands down. The servers are always nice. I am so SO glad they accept dogs in the patio area, another reason we love to go here because we can take our pet with us. Who doesn’t love that. The inside is also a great ambiance, it’s not too bright which is nice for a romantic dinner date. Most recently we had a server named Ely and she was so sweet and respectful. This specific location is nice because it’s in a family and pet friendly area. You can park near by and walk around. It feels safe! My fiancé joined the rewards, which I highly recommend to save money!

Roaring Social is a modern speakeasy-style venue located beneath the stylish Hamilton Hotel, offering a fusion of 1920s allure and contemporary sophistication. The establishment features a craft cocktail menu with secret recipes, luxurious seating, and boutique bowling for some friendly competition. Live music performances are held six nights a week, ranging from doowop cover bands to dueling pianos. The ambiance exudes an intimate and cool vibe perfect for late-night hangouts.
Roaring Social knows how to make an entrance and I’m not just talking about the secret door. Our team of 20 visited for a midweek team building night out, and the moment we arrived, we were swept into the spirit of the Prohibition era. From the check-in process to the secret entrance (you’ll want to know where to look and what to say), this venue delivers on ambiance and theme. Descending the stairs felt like stepping into another time. Rich wood tones, sultry lighting and a live band that brought the room to life. For a Tuesday night? The energy was electric and the space was packed! We enjoyed boutique bowling in a lively, luxe atmosphere and our server, Rider, kept our large party taken care of with warmth, attentiveness and charm. Where the venue lost a star? The menu. While we literally ordered one of everything to share across our group, the food was more functional than flavorful. Limited options and a bit underwhelming in execution. Still, if you’re looking for a unique, immersive experience with strong cocktails and stronger vibes, Roaring Social will deliver! It’s a memorable night out and a nostalgic journey worth taking.

Great spot to dance, chill, and enjoy great company. Met some friends here for a Friday night. There was a cover charge of $10 to enter. They had a live band. Drinks were good and my friends got some wings and liked them. The drinks were EXTREMELY expensive. My husband and I only got drinks. They charged us 4 drinks, 4 beers and 2 shots = $158 w/o tip! My issue is we only had 3 drinks, 3 beers and 2 shots!!! They tacked on an addition drink each that we did not get. Be sure to check your receipt.

Went here for the first time while i was visiting the city, and this bar is pretty cool! The band that played that night, Hard Candy, was really good. There was a $20 cover fee but worth it. They do have bowling and seating can be hard to find when it’s busy. Will definitely be returning soon

Went for a comedy show. From the outside it's hard to see where this location is because the sign doesn't stand out. It is a speakeasy that holds events. I had the roaring skewers which I picked shrimp as my protein and Parmesan truffle fries. I really enjoyed the Catcall and BeeKeeper for my cocktails. My only negative thing to say was the arrangement of the seating because with the pillars in the way and the stage so low it blocks being able to see the stage, unless you are in the middle of the room.
Joyrina H — Google review
I was there for a 60th surprise birthday party. I really didn't know what to expect; because I didn't know what kind of place it was. The food was great, the atmosphere was great. We were in a section in the back with a bowling alley. It was fantastic. We could hear the band and the music was awesome. The songs took me back to my childhood. I had a great time. I would definitely go back.

If I could give a review of zero stars I would. On August 31st, I reached out via email to Roaring Social to get some info about planning a 50th bday celebration for my cousin. I got a generic automated response indicating someone would be in touch. I heard back from them on Sept. 3rd and replied right away providing the info that was asked of me. On September 6th, I sent another email stressing the urgency of receiving information due to travel arrangements needing to be made by family members from out of town. After a three-day wait for a response to my previous email, their reply came five days later and did not address any of my questions. I reiterated the urgency and re-asked my questions in a subsequent email. I then sent a second email suggesting a phone call to facilitate a more timely and succinct response, to which they responded six days later, only to inform me that I would have to wait another three days for answers. While I understand that the industry can be busy, especially with the holiday season approaching, I cannot comprehend or excuse the lack of effort to simply answer my questions in a timely manner or to prioritize assistance, knowing that time is of the essence for my family. It appears that potential clientele may be dispensable to this establishment. Our goal was to give my cousin an amazing 50th birthday celebration at her preferred location, with no expense spared. However, based on the consistent feedback from friends who have hosted events at Roaring Social regarding this establishment's lack of communication and the resulting stress in planning, and my own experience, it is clear that Roaring Social is not the right fit. My cousin will only turn 50 once, and her celebration will be everything she hoped for, with the exception that it will not be at Roaring Social.
Shannon B — Google review
Food service and atmosphere were great. So why a 3 for overall score? Very difficult to get on the dance floor. Signs at each end of the dance floor said"no drinks on the dance floor ", yet no less than a dozen people had drinks on it and nothing was said about it. One person spilled half their drink on me. Also dress code said,"no backwards hats", yet 3 guys were wearing their hats backwards, one being the guy that spilled his drink on me. If you're not going to enforce your rules, get rid of them! Too many businesses are so afraid to "offended" anyone they allow a few people to ruin the experience for everyone else. I could care less about "backwards hats", but enforce the rule or remove it from your dress code. Your rules also say no "exposed under garments", what if I wanted to wear my jeans half way down my butt, would you enforce that dress code rules? Would certainly hope so.

The restaurant Lily Sushi Bar is charming and has a delightful atmosphere. The decor and ambiance are lovely, creating an enjoyable dining experience. The food is outstanding, with a variety of lunch specials and tasty specialty rolls. One particular roll that stands out is the Kyoto Roll. However, it would be beneficial for the servers to prioritize friendliness, as being kind is an important part of southern culture.
We’ve tried quite a few sushi restaurants in the area and in the city and this is by far the best in terms of quality and value. The dishes are always fresh and service is top notch! We have taken many friends and family here and everyone raves about the taste and quality of the food (and cocktails). The omakase experience is by far our favorite in the city and you get to try so many exciting dishes, be adventurous and you’ll be rewarded with quality and freshness unlike anywhere else, give them a try! (If you want the best seat in the house reserve a seat at the bar and have Alan make you some delicious cocktails ;)

A wonderful sushi place! Everything was so delicious, well presented and fresh. We loved every dish. The “chef’s choice” nigiri assortment with miso soup is so worth it. Service was very attentive and the lady knew everything about the menu items so she was a great help in finding sushis that we would like.

This has been on our list for a while and so glad we got to check it out. The place I take is very nice and cozy. There is free parking available. The service was spectacular. We were handed warm hand towels after ordering. The food was served fairly quickly and the server was super helpful with making choices. We ended up getting the Sakura Roll which was absolutely delicious. Might be up there on the favorites list. The salmon hand rolls and salmon skin roll were nothing exceptional but the fish was so fresh and these were perfect for filler rolls. The nigiri was also super fresh and delicious. We will be back as we absolutely loved it!

Amazing food is being made here. Trust your chef and just let them pick for you. Next time I am going all the way and get the Amakase. Try at least one of the signature dishes. The staff is phenomenal, well know staff that can help you navigate your food experience. Yes, the place is pretty too. Price is on the $50 per person.... And honestly, if makes sense when the dishes they serve are of great quality. I wish I could afford this place more. I would love to eat her weekly.

Nestled within The Hamilton Hotel in downtown Alpharetta, Carrie's Conservatory is a delightful blend of elegance and comfort, making it an ideal destination for a midday escape. Whether you're catching up with friends over a glass of wine or enjoying some alone time, the inviting atmosphere sets the perfect backdrop. Carrie's Conservatory is a hidden gem inside The Hamilton hotel in downtown Alpharetta. I have been stepping in for a couple years now to enjoy the upscale but not pretentious vibe. Bartenders and servers are always smiling and happy to see guests come in. I've met clients to talk business, brought my children to eat dinner, sat on the vast patio and took in some sun while doing some work. It's a local favorite for me. Food is great and they will work with you on hosting events and large parties. They also put on some events of their own from time to time, check their calendar for those and live music nights.

Came for their Easter Brunch. The advertisement for the food made it look really enticing. However, once we arrived the food feel short of the expectations. Every idea was already on the buffet and it looked like it may have been sitting out for a while. I was hopeful that the omletes would be made to order but those too where sitting in a chaffing dish with water to help keep them from drying out. Greatly disappointed in the offering especially at the price point that was offered. I would equate this to a slightly elevated breakfast that you typically get at a holiday inn. It appears that the possibility to really make this brunch special is there. But, the facility decided to go a different direction. Hopeful that future brunches, especially Easter, gets elevated to a higher level.one that I feel this culinary team can provide. If you are looking to book here for Easter in the future I would strongly suggest you look for other options.

Not sure I would define this as an upscale restaurant. The pictures out there of the food look way better and are not recent, it is a very basic menu. I’m sure if you’re staying at the hotel this is perfectly fine. We planned a girls brunch and were underwhelmed by the vibe of the place and the menu. Truthfully, we were probably the only person to make a reservation in quite some time. The service however from the bartender was really good. We thought we booked carries conservatory and when you walk in, there is nothing to says that name, not even the menu, even when we asked at the Front Desk it was called something different. Again, I think if you’re staying at the hotel, you’ll be okay, but this is not someplace that you would go out of your way for to make a reservation.

Came here for drinks. Pleasantly entertained by a jazz duo. Staff was friendly and drinks were good. A bit pricey but good. Nice bar area and outside tables and sofas too!

My regular brunch spot was closed this Sunday so I decided to branch out and try a new spot despite some of the reviews. This place was amazing. The food was wonderful as well as the service. I’m a big fan of Eggs Benedict and I truly enjoyed their version 🙌🏽 I will definitely be coming back!

We had a table reserved for 12:30, since it is such a beautiful day today, we wanted to seat outside and we asked the lady if it was possible to seat us out there. The place was almost empty, she was upset about it but at the end she agreed to do it. We were standing while she was setting up the table and when she finished, did not even bother to let us know that the table was ready. Then we looked back and saw the table ready and decided to seat. We were waiting for 22 minutes and nobody came to help us out. We had to go inside and ask if anyone was going to be serving us, she said just said I’m sorry I’ll be out in a moment. Other people came to the restaurant and she served everybody else before coming to help. When came to serve us we were ready to order so she served the water and took our orders. 14 minutes passed before our coffee came. Another 20 minutes had passed and we saw people that came way after us already eating, and our food nothing. At 1:32 we had to go and ask for our food. Nothing has come, while other tables were already finishing their food. This has been an awful experience, definitely the service was not good and would not recommend this place to anyone.
Ortiz M — Google review
The food was good, atmosphere with the live music was awesome. The service was atrocious. The server got our food order wrong and then argued with us that we didn't order the dish we wanted. The dish served wasnt even on the brunch menu.
George Z — Google review
We were excited to come here for dinner but what a disappointment. The hostess ignored us and took a long phone call rather than address the customers right in front of her. The menu is not what we found online. It was much smaller and not impressive. Drinks were great but would not recommend for dinner. Also confused club sort of ambiance. Hate the smell of this place too. They seem to be pumping in some nasty air freshener. It could be saved if management cared about their target demographic.

The Cape Restaurant & Beach Bar offers a delightful coastal dining experience that draws inspiration from the vibrant flavors and wines of Cape Town, South Africa. This chic eatery is designed to evoke the feel of a stylish beach bungalow, featuring an inviting rooftop patio with stunning views of the boulevard and a cozy main dining area adorned with colorful pillows, custom surfboards, and lush hanging botanicals.
Okay, listen up. The atmosphere is quaint. We wanted to sit on the rooftop but it was not open. We did get to sit outside. The inside is also beautiful. The waiter was very kind and attentive. We had the Smashburger which was delicious. It was fun to walk around the Avalon. Just a beautiful place to have lunch and enjoy just being.

I had a really nice lunch with my girlfriend at The Cape at Avalon. I had a mocktail, a cocktail, and the blackened salmon, and everything was solid — no complaints at all. The food was pretty tasty, but the patio dining is what really made the experience stand out. The atmosphere outside is beautiful and made the whole meal feel more special. Combined with the food and drinks, it was a great way to spend an afternoon. I’d definitely come back, especially when the weather’s nice.

My husband and I recently enjoyed a delightful date night at The Cape Restaurant and Beach Bar, nestled in the heart of Avalon shopping mall in Alpharetta, GA. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the host at the door, setting a positive tone for the evening. The restaurant features three distinct dining areas: the main floor, an outdoor balcony, and an upstairs section. We opted for the upstairs area, which offered a cozy ambiance. Upon being seated, the host informed us of a 20% gratuity charge, which we appreciated knowing upfront. For our appetizers, we initially wanted to try the chicken spring rolls but were informed they were unavailable. Instead, we decided on the Caesar salad, which was fresh and satisfying. For my main course, I went with the Peri Peri Shrimp Tacos, bursting with flavor, while my husband enjoyed the Smash Burger, which he also found to be quite good. To complement our meals, I chose a mimosa, and my husband opted for a refreshing passion fruit mocktail. Overall, The Cape offers a beautiful atmosphere, excellent service, and a varied menu that caters to different tastes. We left feeling satisfied and would definitely return for another visit!

EVERYTHING about this restaurant is an experience! The Food is simply amazing! My server made the most exquisitely refreshing cocktail! The ambience is purposefully delightful! I have recommended this place and will continue to do so!

The only reason I’m giving four stars is because the appetizer that I got the little subpar. Everything else was great. I really enjoyed my family and a drink I got was strong! I didn’t eat inside so I can’t talk too much about atmosphere, but the outside patio Downstairs was pretty nice to sit at. I’ll love to try the second floor seating area next time. I’ll be back.

This is a great spot with some amazing options and a very attentive and help staff. The decor transports you away on vacation and the drinks leave no stone unturned. 10/10! Highly recommend! We have a few things but you must try the popcorn and the Ostrich Sliders!

Lovely beach-style restaurant with a modern, eclectic twist. HVAC chills to the max to give you that escape from the beach feel. Plants on the ceiling are a nice touch to give you that Atlantic Georgia coast vibe although a little on the expensive side.
Eric K — Google review
My first time dining here. I sat at the bar. It was a busy Friday evening. I ordered the frozen espresso martini. It was a 10 out of 10. The bartender suggested my entree and I cleaned my plate. He suggested the 10 oz Picanha which consists of chimichurri steak served with mashed potatoes and asparagus. It sounds simple, but the taste was impeccable on my palette. The ambience of The Cape is absolutely stunning. A vibe was definitely giving the entire evening. I enjoyed the music selection as well. You must visit. I ordered me a frozen espresso martini to go!!☺️

Foundation Social Eatery is a bright and modern gastropub in Roswell, offering hearty American fare with some locally sourced ingredients. It's the perfect spot to catch up with an old friend or celebrate a special occasion. The restaurant has reopened in a new location, still serving amazing food with attentive staff. Chef Mel Toledo creates modern dishes in a casual setting, ensuring that every plate is beautifully presented and delicious.
Went here for my mom’s birthday. We sat outside with 8 guests. Loved the outside area, service was phenomenal, cocktails are amazing! The food was good but for some reason I remember there being more choices at the Roswell location many years ago? My favorite was the steak! The schnitzel was sweet wasn’t a fan, I don’t eat octopus but everyone said it was the best they had, charcuterie was great! Overall the place is really good! Would definitely recommend!!

A locally-rooted restaurant featuring seasonal sophisticated dishes, with a laid back lofty atmosphere. The culinary team without a doubt focuses to incorporate unique flavor combinations to help tie all their dishes together. The intricate plating is not only eye catching, but the dishes deliver lots of bold flavors. The kitchen is an open concept to the guests eye, and helps showcase the hard work behind the scenes that is carefully crafted into each dish before sending to your table. The four stars for food is based on a few factors: -We dined around the 7:30 hour at the bar and a few dishes were already sold out. Leading us to pick other selections. It honestly surprised me a bit, considering how many seats the restaurant accommodates. -I did have to send back my hanger, as it was cooked on the rarer side than medium rare. Although the service team, especially Britt was on top of it. -Favorite dish was honestly dessert, we were so full, but convinced by Britt to try one. Corn Mousse was Devine, the caramel popcorn makes the dish; well done Chef Gus. Their bar + wine program: we loved the various curated dynamic cocktails. Too, the wines by the glass selection feature around the world varietals. All in all, we will be back for another experience.

Excellent experience beginning to end! My company hosted a retirement celebration for one of our coworkers here and it was a wonderful night. We were on the porch and it got a bit breezy so they pulled down the covers and we had heaters plus the fireplace - so cool! We had two servers for the total party and they were spectacular - we never wanted for anything. Although I only got a few food pictures, I tried several different dishes and every single one was delicious. I really enjoyed the experience and everyone left happy.

Foundation Social Eatery and the amazing Operating Partner, Nick and fabulous Chef, Mel made October 24th a night to remember! I chose to have my post wedding ceremony dinner here on the patio with 25 guests. I worked with Nick along the way to plan the most amazing experience! We offered a cocktail hour with three passed apps, all absolutely fantastic! Then served a sit down 3 course meal at one table which was my vision and main request! Service was fantastic and the food was out of this world! Not a single complaint. This restaurant takes zero shortcuts and we made the right decision hosting a meal we will remember forever here!

I’ve dined in a lot of places….from back-alley food gems to white-tablecloth shrines to ego….but few spots have me planning my next visit before I even pay the check. This is that place. My father was a chef, so my standards aren’t just high…they’re haunted by childhood memories of food done right. So when I say this restaurant delivers? I mean it punches at heavyweight level every single time. I don’t leave reviews lightly. If you scroll through my history, you’ll see I’m not the type to gush for clout. But this place? Deserves a standing ovation. From appetizers like tender grilled octopus, beef tartare so fresh it borders illegal, or mussels that taste like they were flown in from a fishing boat in Normandy….everything is dialed in. The mains? The grilled hanger steak is a masterclass in execution, and their daily fish special always tastes like someone had a personal conversation with the ocean. The bar? Don’t even get me started. Whether you like your cocktails shaken, stirred, or philosophized over, the bartenders here craft drinks like they’re composing symphonies. Their Old Fashioned could square up against any craft bar in New York, and the wine list? Someone did their homework….with extra credit. This isn’t just my go-to. It’s my can’t-stay-away. No other restaurant within a 100-mile radius even gets in the same lane. Frankly, if you told me I could only eat one place in Georgia for the rest of my life, I wouldn’t hesitate. So here’s my humble suggestion to Michelin: before you hand out your next star, stop in. You’ll understand why I never shut up about this place….and why, after all these years, I still can’t get enough.

This place is amazing!!! The food is yummy and healthy. The quality of the ingredients they use for their products is superb. I highly recommend it, they truly know how to make gluten free and dairy free delicious meals. My favorite is the chicken potpie. Thank you!

This is a quaint little place with excellent food. You could tell that food is medicine to them. Everything has a lot of flavor. I got a vegetarian empanada and a coconut carrot cupcake. There are a couple of parking spots in front of the building with a parking lot in the back too. I did see that a parking garage next to it is being built. This will be great when it gets busier.

I recently got diagnosed with gluten-free and dairy-free sensitivity and my life has become a little challenging. I have been around Atlanta trying different places and desserts and let me tell you, this place is by far THE BEST of all. The flavors are there, the options are there. I love the fact that there is something delicious for everyone. I highly recommend it. I am definitely going back to try more of their dishes.

It’s been a long time coming for this one! I kept forgetting to write a review, but when I’m in town visiting friends, this has become one of my favorite little spots! Getting to have decadent things like pot pies is amazing for someone that is vegan and often eats GF as well! Everything I have had there was not only delicious, but kept my stomach feeling happy. Also, magnificent sweet treats! And the family that owns it is just lovely. I was sad that I didn’t get to go this time I was on a short business trip (which is what reminded me to write this), but it’s already been added to my list of places to go when I’m in Marietta area at the beginning of next! Highly recommend.

I only bought things from the bakery area but I'll definitely be back to eat! It's such an adorable little place and one of the only places I can eat with my strict dietary restrictions, and the man who helped us was so informative and helpful, I hope he is there again next time! I bought over $50 of pastries and treats, worth every penny!

Incredible food!! The waffle is amazing, and I took two frozen pot pies to go -- the artichoke spinach and the mushroom -- and they were both insanely good. The artichoke one especially surprised me, I'll absolutely be getting more next time! The portions are a little small for the price, but I didn't mind too much since the service was good and the quality was great. It's a little small and warm inside, and there's not a lot of parking, but there's a free lot about a 5 minute walk down the road.
Erin F — Google review
Wonderful experience! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was cozy, and the staff was very friendly. As someone that is vegan and has dairy and peanut allergies, I always feel so grateful when I get to dine somewhere without any concerns. My only complaint is that I wish the portions had been a little bit bigger. Will definitely be going back soon!

Café Intermezzo - Avalon is a European-style coffeehouse located in Alpharetta, offering an extensive selection of beverages and pastries, as well as crêpes and sandwiches. The café has a cozy ambiance and stays open until late on Fridays and Saturdays, making it the perfect spot for enjoying a leisurely evening. Indulge in their signature Cannoli Cheesecake or savor a cocktail like the Espresso Martini.
Café Intermezzo is one of those rare places that instantly transports you—feels like stepping into a cozy café somewhere in Europe. The atmosphere is warm, elegant, and inviting, with beautiful furnishings and attention to detail in every corner. We had the open-faced croissant with eggs, bacon, and crispy potatoes—absolutely delicious and perfectly portioned. The French toast was a sweet highlight—fluffy, rich, and beautifully presented. For drinks, we enjoyed two excellent lattes and a traditional Turkish coffee (as seen in our video)—bold, flavorful, and served with style. Service was surprisingly fast, especially considering how detailed and carefully everything is prepared. Whether you’re stopping in for brunch, dessert, or just a coffee break, this spot is a must-visit when you’re at Avalon in Alpharetta.

Overall, an okay experience. As fancy as this place is, the price is a bit much for an espresso drink. I asked for a coffee drink that came not even half full. We ordered a coffee and latte. Service and atmosphere were great though. Visuals were wonderful. Beautiful set up; interior and exterior. Great for small and large parties. There is inside and outside seating. They serve small snacks, coffees and alcoholic drinks. Not a restaurant, just do everyone knows. Till then, let’s sip!

Café Intermezzo – Avalon instantly transports you to an Italian café with its cozy, old-world charm and rich atmosphere. We ordered a caramel cappuccino, white chocolate raspberry cheesecake, and a mixed berry crêpe with Schlag—and every bite and sip was incredible. The cappuccino was bold and smooth with just the right touch of caramel. The cheesecake? Silky, sweet perfection. And that crêpe—fresh berries, soft pastry, and real whipped cream. Perfect for date night or catching up with family and friends—this spot is a must-visit! For more reviews, follow us on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok @gbdiningdykes

They have a hot chocolate section on the menu! I chose the Mexican hot chocolate. Tiny little chocolate morsels await you at the bottom of the cup, slightly melted. There seems to be little bits of gritty vanilla or sugar crystals throughout the drink. It was delightful. A hot chocolate will cost around $9. The atmosphere feels like 1950’s Europe. A mix of Italian, German, French style. Dimly lit. Lots of two-person tables created an intimate setting. 6 bar stools. They don’t take reservations. Free parking in the lots behind the Main Street. We sat at the bar for our hot chocolate. The bar tender was great. He checked up on us just the right amount and threw in a few jokes that just made for an even more enjoyable evening.

Best coffee give it a try. After eating at Rumi’s at Avalon with my hubby we stopped by Cafe Intermezzo 😍. I had the Cafe Italiano and my husband had the cafe latte we had it with just froth no extra whip cream or flavored syrups. It was the best coffee ever I felt like we were in Italy at a cafe sipping our bougie coffee 🥰. Give it a try because it was such a genuine great experience with coffee and the vibe there 💯💞

We absolutely love this place! Adorable seating area especially outside, you can watch the hustle and bustle of Avalon shoppers. The breakfast croissant with eggs was so delicious and cappuccino and chocolate raspberry cake was delicious! Our server was very pleasant and a bit flirtation when he caught on that all the girls were swooning over him😂 we were celebrating my daughter’s 16th birthday. Thank you so much for your lovely service!

We were in town for a wedding and we wish we would have found this place on day 1 of our trip. Hands down best eggs Benedict I've ever had. Our waitress was amazing (wish I would have remembered her name)! The other people in our group had the crepes and French toast and said they were really good! 100/10 recommend!

The staff is friendly and attentive, and the coffee is excellent—easily the best part of the experience. However, the food was disappointing and doesn't live up to the high standard set by the drinks and service. Food was bland and textures were off. It’s a fantastic spot for a coffee break but not the best choice for a full meal.
