Wonderful atmosphere & amazing food. We were not going to stop, but a local told us it was the best pizza, so we had to try it. We split a salad & a pizza & it was enough for the 2 of us. The Burrata salad was so light & yummy. The Melty Mancuso pizza with added prosciutto was not your normal pizza. Their crust was nice & thin, and the topping were delicious!

Worth the drive in my opinion! The food was good! I LOVED how crispy & moist the wings were & NO BREADING!!! BEST wings I've had in a long time. The pizza was super thin in the middle not good enough to support the toppings. But it was still a good pizza. Our server was on top of everything! Awesome service, food & environment very up beat!

Great pizza place, OMG great pizza!!! Great customer service as well and I really enjoyed the overall experience. The place is huge, indoor and outdoor seating. The only knock I have is the beer selection is a bit small, I would have preferred more choices. Highly recommend!

I would have loved to give 5 ⭐, but it took almost 45 minutes to get our food after we ordered. This place has a Great atmosphere. We loved the outside seating. We had our dog, and so did almost everyone else. Everyone was so kind and friendly. We had the Crack Fries for an appetizer and they were Great. We had a Gluten Free make your own pizza with Mushrooms, half shaved steak and 1/2 sausage and it was delicious. We also had the Texas Biggin and that was also fantastic. Yum yum yum. We definitely recommend this place. We found out later the owners are from Buffalo, which is where my husband and I grew up. Highly recommend!

Secret Stash pizza was awesome! We had a great waiter (pink), who was super helpful, friendly, informative, and upbeat. The wings were amazing (dip them in the sauce!!), and the Texas pizza was epic. Great dinner. (It gets busy, so be ready to wait, or try and call ahead).

Excellent pizza. Be sure to try the Amber beer. The decorations in here are very interesting and eclectic. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend stopping by for at least one meal. If you’re not hungry, at least stop and try one of their beers. They have several locally made beers.

My fiance and I drove past this place and the line was OUT the door at 630am, so we knew it had to be good. The line moves surprisingly fast and the ladies behind the counter were extremely friendly and helpful. We got a Spinach and Feta croissant, a Ham and Cheese croissant, and a Raspberry croissant. They were all AMAZING! We came back the next day and ordered the same thing (except I tried the Jalapeño Cheddar Croissant in place of the Spinach/Feta option….incredible!). We only got drip coffees, but all of the other things on the menu looked great.

Nice setting on a side street in CB. The outdoor seating area was fun - lots of Adirondacks and trees. My husband loved his four shot latte, but my plain coffee was very weak. The baked goods - cinnamon rolls and scones were very good. We will likely be back, but we are still searching for the best coffee in CB

I love love love their coffee. It's really good. Idk what they're doing or what they're using, but I loved it. It wasn't too bitter, hot enough, and plenty of it. We came back twice. The staff is so cheerful and chatty. The pasties are good, all of them. We tried the spinach, the jalapeño one, and the Boston cream one too. Their seating is nice as well.

One of the best Americano's I've had in quite some time! Wow, was it good. The service was super friendly, fast, and while the inside of this place is rather quaint with absolutely zero seating, well, the Outside seating area is just incredible. It's natural surroundings feel as if your having a picnic, it's cozy, and warm in the wonderful sun, with a gentle breeze blowing across the top of that perfect brew. Loved, loved this place!

maybe it was coming off a hike, maybe it was mabelline, 100% positive it was a banger burrito! got the gourmet veg ‘ritto & this sounds weird but it was the perfect level of wetness? w the veg, salsa, sour cream, etc, the moisture level was so satisfying. every delicious element cohered because of & with it! 100/10 recommend stopping by here

This whole place is a vibe! Delicious food, the chicken hard shell tacos are my absolute favorite but anything you order will be amazing! I could swim in a pool of the salsa verde! Always great tunes at the perfect volume! Staff is as friendly as can be and always smiling! Been coming here for years and I’ve never been disappointed.

Large portion, good flavor, fairly priced for the area, quick service. They dont have many seats and there is one stall for the bathrooms though, so keep that in mind.

Great burritos, tacos, music, and extremely friendly staff. Best spot in town for food. I'm saying the burritos are so good, it's better than any of the food anywhere else. 💯 Ask for the special sauces. They bring the heat. I guarantee they got shit you've never seen or tried to eat. This place has a great vibe with amazing people. We got the grilled chicken taco plate and a huge steak burrito. Both were delicious and very reasonably priced. We will definitely be back!

Honestly I guess maybe because it’s in the middle of no where it’s got this high of ratings… but for someone that grew up eating Mexican food, this place is really mid… maybe it was the burritos we had. But the tortillas weren’t cooked they were pulled straight out of a bag, it tasted really plain, the meat literally had no seasoning, I ordered with the spiciest sauce and wow the Taco Bell medium sauce would be hotter, and the burritos were leaking, they were really watery inside. I had to use a the tray to eat it. The only good thing I would say is the portions were pretty big. People working were great and it was a chill place to eat. Not trying to hate, but trying to give some feedback to hopefully help you guys out.

The Piggy Pork tacos are the bomb. Worth the drive from Gunnison for lunch. I’ll be back.

First time here, stop in the parlor since I was traveling alone. The salad is probably the best part. I was able to order just two pieces of chicken off the parlor menu. Ask the waiter for dark chicken. You basically told me you get what you got in so many terms. Not rude how to cook puts what's available. Of course I got it dried out piece of chicken breast. I got some old school. When the guests ask for something usually you get it. Ask for no creamed corn. Came on the plate. Waders have mentioned half an ice cream sandwich which I had to ask for at the end. So overall blah.

This place is amazing!! The food is so fresh! Best fried chicken ever and sides. Service is awesome as well. Make sure and come hungry! The atmosphere is super cute and old fashioned

This place is delightful. Our first visit, sitting at the bar, we were able to order a less expensive fare. The drinks are lovely. The bartender was fun.

If you’re in Crested Butte and looking for an incredible dining experience, Slogar is a must-visit! This charming restaurant serves dinner family-style, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. Tonight, we enjoyed their freshly prepared fried chicken, which was cooked to perfection—crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. The meal came with a variety of delicious sides, and the best part? The sides come with complimentary refills! We especially loved the rich and creamy creamed corn and the homemade biscuits, which were absolutely divine. Slogar is a popular spot, and for good reason! They do get busy, so we highly recommend making reservations in advance. From the friendly service to the comforting, home-cooked flavors, everything about our experience was top-notch. We can’t wait to come back!

This place is great. The reservation is a must. The dinner is all you can eat sides and appetizers, but you must buy a protein from the available options. We bought the sampler platter and ohh my it was a ton of food for 2 people and 1 kids. We had two kids so needed to get one more kids meal. The food was excellent. The service was also very good, but for the price it better be expected. The fried chicken that is famous is absolutely worth it. It was spiced perfectly, very moist, and flavorful. The mashed potatoes and gravy side were also very good and I'd recommend it. The steak was ordered medium but came medium rare, luckily I like it like that too, but wife prefers it a bit more cooked. Besides the collard greens that my family doesn't like, there really isn't anything we did not like.

The food was very good , although the salads were good, I did not like them being pre set on the table before we even arrived. Yes the chicken is delicious, the entree prices are ridiculous. They have you captive in this town and are taking advantage of this. When in Rome!

Food was pretty good but experience felt extremely rushed. Each course came out so fast there was no time to eat the prior course. Food was very expensive so would have preferred to have been able to take my time and not be rushed while eating it. Also, kind of weird to serve Blue Bunny ice cream sandwiches as dessert at a “nice” restaurant.

We went for our 24th anniversary and it was everything we hoped. The service was great, the food even greater. We got a couple glasses of complimentary champagne and some caviar mixture which was lovely. The gnocchi appetizer was amazing! Would definitely go again

Soupçon is such a charming and unique gem in Crested Butte, tucked away on Elk Eve with a rich history and intimate setting. The staff was warm and helpful, and being greeted by the chef made the experience feel so personal. We chose the 3-course tasting menu and everything was outstanding, from the fresh, warm bread to the flavorful beef tartare and rich foie gras. The tagliolini with shaved truffles and the lamb chops were perfectly prepared, and desserts like the warm crumb cake and crème brûlée were the perfect finish. We were in the mood for cocktails and the ones we enjoyed that evening was Margarita d’Agave and Sangria. It’s more than just a meal, it’s a true dining experience that’s worth every penny.

Wish I could give more stars! Made a reservation for Valentine’s Day, but our day took a sudden chaotic turn an hour before our rez. In all the chaos I was so grateful with how communicative and accommodating the staff was, and our mess of a day was completely flipped around the second we stepped inside. We were treated with such sincere kindness, the entire staff made us feel like we belonged. The food was incredible and the portions filling (I HATE going to a fancy restaurant and leaving hungry) and I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a lovely dining experience in CB.

Truly amazing culinary experience. We went for our anniversary and it was worth every penny. The gnocchi with morel sauce was fabulous, and the filet mignon with truffle sauce was superb and perfectly cooked.

The service was fantastic. They served a $70/bottle champagne when they found out it was our anniversary. Lobster bisque some of the best we have ever had. The vegetarian options were also excellent.

My husband and I had the best time here for our one year wedding anniversary on our CB trip. Sharnie and Bob were INCREDIBLE. They both are so impressively knowledgeable and talented with their service, while also being SO kind & fun. We had the best time, and left feeling like family. All the best to Sharnie and Bob 🫶♥️ and major kudos to the whole Soupçon team!! Thank you for such a special experience. The food was incredible. The amuse-bouche made me realize for the first time how food can make you feel something to the point of tears. Incredible menu & service, highly recommend.

My husband and I had our wedding reception at the Sunflower at the end of March and we were absolutely thrilled with how perfect this venue was for our small group of 25. Natalie made the process so simple from start to finish: there weren’t pages upon pages of contracts or hidden costs. She gave us a straight forward, all-inclusive cost and made it easy for our wedding planners to come in during the day before our reception and decorate/transform the restaurant into a magical, flower-filled space that felt intimate and uniquely ours for the evening. Natalie and Chris created a beautiful, locally resourced menu with flavors that were astounding. Our guests were blown away by the courses that never seemed to end and the amount of food they were served. Speaking of service - our servers and bartenders were THE BEST. Ben and team were top notch - they kept our drinks and plates full, and when we cleared the tables for dancing, they were out there celebrating with us. It really felt more like we were partying at a really cool family member’s house than a restaurant! We can’t say enough good things about this beautiful, intimate space, the amazing food, wonderful service and the absolutely lovely people at Sunflower who made our evening magical. Thank you, Natalie, Chris, Ben and Team!

If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would—though I’m pretty sure Chris (the owner and unofficial mayor of flavor-town) would just hand-deliver me another plate of food and say, “See, this is the sixth star.” The food was out-of-this-world good—the kind where you’re negotiating with your stomach to please, please make more room. Every bite felt like it was cooked with both skill and soul. And then there’s Chris, who didn’t just drop by the table; he seemed to have a superpower for tailoring the whole experience to us. From recommendations that felt like he knew our taste buds better than we do, to little touches that made the night unforgettable, he made it feel like we were guests in his home rather than just customers. Bottom line: the food was incredible, the atmosphere was warm, and Chris made sure it was personal in the best way possible. We left full, happy, and plotting our excuse to come back way sooner than is socially acceptable.

Best meal I have had all year! Our party of six opted to have the Sunflower team “feed us” family-style instead of everyone ordering their own entre. This set us up for a magical evening, full to the brim with culinary delight! Our waitress Brittney (spelling?) was radiant with enthusiasm and it was obvious she enjoys her work. The owner, Chris checked in on us regularly and provided stimulating conversation. It was lovely to see the teamwork and the engaging, positive, culture of the Sunflower team. Friendly tip: Be sure to make a reservation well in advance!

We LOVED DJing a wedding at Sunflower Restaurant! We are a local DJ company, Gunnison Valley Entertainment and working at The Sunflower the staff was wonderful, the food was spectacular, and the vibes were wonderful all night for the couple and their guests. Grateful to have restaurants in the Valley willing to open their doors to couples and vendors like us. Would love to be back and DJ again in the future!

Everything about this restaurant is amazing. The service, the staff, and atmosphere! Everything is above and beyond. I can’t tell you what to eat because the plates are seasonal but if it sounds good, it is. Just try it! A must visit spot when you’re in Crested Butte. Just make sure you text to make reservations. All the above makes them very busy!

Yet another place in town that lived up to the hype. Yes,it’s on the pricey side and, unlike many places we’ve visited, we felt our dinner was worth it. Nick, our waiter, took care of us. He walked us through the menu and how the food is prepared and served. It was a privilege to be hosted by him and the Sunflower staff. When we were there, the ambiance was festive and lively. Don’t expect a quiet, intimate setting! We can’t wait to revisit this gem again.

Food was delicious, and service was good until it wasn’t. DO NOT go to this restaurant if you would like to carry on a conversation. We were seated next to a table of eight young women who asked to have the music turned down. One of them said they were “blown off.” We asked a different staff member to turn down the music. It was turned down some, and the guests actually clapped! At the end of the meal our waiter, Nick, came to the table and thanked us for choosing to celebrate our anniversary at their restaurant. I told him we loved the food, and that we appreciated his knowledge and guidance in making our selections. I told him that it could have been a perfect evening if the music weren’t so LOUD. He e said “That’s our vibe, and it helps to keep the staff pumped.” That felt like he was basically saying if you don’t like it, go somewhere else. Guess keeping the staff “pumped” is more important than keeping the guests happy.

This place is older, but very charming. I can't believe we've never been in here before... we had a lovely time, thank you! Sam made us delicious old fashions one night. The next day we were walking by and popped in to say hello -- and then decided to stay for happy hour. Amanda was great & was a pleasure to talk to. The food was tasty and the drinks were strong! And the patio is dog friendly, which was appreciated. We frequent the CB area and will definitely be back the next time we're in town. Thank you!

An absolute delight of an experience. We came here on Monday, the 18th of August and there was enough people there to have a nice vibe but not too many people that you had to wait for a table. We ate outside on the nice sturdy tables that were lovely decorated with huge hanging baskets and flowers all around. It really does fit in with the historic nature of crested Butte and also within the delicious food foodies must do list. Great job guys can’t wait to be back.

I recently dined at your restaurant and wanted to express my gratitude for the exceptional service I received. From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming and accommodating. The food was delicious and arrived perfectly prepared. However, I did notice a few additional HIDDEN charges on the bill, such as the kitchen fee and the large party fee. While I understand the need to cover costs, I believe that paying your servers what they deserve should eliminate the necessity for these extra charges on your patrons. Keep in mind there is no AC - so if you’re visiting in the summer months, be prepared to bring a small fan or dress appropriately. Despite this, I would still highly recommend dining at your restaurant due to the overall wonderful experience.

Had an amazing experience dining here, had a reservation at a different place and stopped by here and decided to stay because of the atmosphere and our wonderful server, Amanda. She was knowledgeable on her wines and cocktails as well as the menu. I have been in the service industry for years and this woman is top of the line with her style of service. Personable yet professional but made us feel right at home while giving us amazing food and drinks. Her steps of service are also incredible and seeing how she also speaks with other tables and every experience is very personalized to those she’s serving. 10000/10 service, would come back for her and the Flat Iron steak!

This is my medium well burger. Great I came in at the end of the night and apparently they were too concerned on getting my food out before it was cooked. Great tasting food but this is unacceptable

I had plenty of time to pass in Crested Butte, and I’m so glad I walked into the Wooden Nickel. I ended up spending a few hours there, and the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming. They even let me hang out while they were closing since I was waiting on a ride. It was truly the best hospitality I’ve ever experienced. Dinner was outstanding, and the drinks were just as impressive.

Best meal of my life. Had the prime rib on special. It was perfectly cooked and had this ridiculously good pepper bark crust that may be the best I've ever had anywhere. We also got a bison steak which was equally amazing. Never had bison, so can't make a fair comparison, but I'd go back for it. My wife got a French dip and my kids split a burger with onion rings and waffle fries. We all sampled some of everything and literally nothing was a let down. The only down side, if I was forced to give one, is the cost of such a meal. 3 adults and 2 kids had a $230 ticket. We did order some of the more expensive items though. 10 out of 10 would recommend for anyone that doesn't mind spending the money.

It was disappointing grilled chicken pita and Calcutta bowl for us. The food was below average based on experience at other places. You get the water by yourself and the dispenser area looked unhygenic although I couldn't really tell if it was just looks of it or is it for real. The washrooms were not great either. The prices are reasonable but for the food we got, it wasn't worth it. The atmosphere was great and it seems like lots of people like this place. But for us, it wasn't worth it and mostly disappointing.

Great pita spot and sports bar. It was so quality, we stopped back in Crested Butte after our camping just to eat here twice! The OG, the pulled pork, and the cheese steak all were next level. AND BE SURE TO GET FRIES. THEY ROCK. They also have a lovely outdoor eating area where you can enjoy the beautiful atmosphere that the town offers.

This place has been here forever, but has increased in capacity and in its menu. Soup is homemade everyday and is delicious. Rice dishes, awesome. Pita's obviously. Happy hour is a GREAT happy hour between 3pm(?) and 6pm. Prices are higher than I would like, but great place to check out if you are visiting and want to check out a local eatery.

Awesome place. Great and friendly service. Amazing selection of pitas and drinks. Cool vibe and lots of tvs for sports on Saturday. Chicken Schwarma was fantastic and the Greek tahin salad was awesome. Great beers.

Casual order at-the-counter restaurant serving tasty Mediterranean (and other) foods with a great daily happy hour and a large dog friendly patio in the summer. Located in a great central part of CB. Lots of vegetarian options. Ordered some beers and rice bowls which were tasty and very filling.

Great happy hour options for an early dinner after a day on the slopes. My falafel pita was overflowing with fresh veggies, falafel, and sauce. The kids devoured their cheese pita and tomato soup. Three soup options which was nice. Quick service and fresh food!

I had a fantastic experience here. The burrata special and calamari were both amazing—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The focaccia was warm, soft, and perfectly seasoned. The seafood pasta was definitely the highlight. It was rich, savory, and made with really delicious ingredients. Our waitress was super accommodating and gave great suggestions that made the meal even better. You can tell the new owner knows what he’s doing. The food, service, and overall vibe were all on point. I’ll definitely be coming back.

This place is pretty small but we went early and didn’t have to wait for 4. Wait staff was pretty good for Colorado. I had been here previously but I guess it got bought and renamed. The drinks were well priced but the mains were pretty heavy priced. $40 for veal parm, it was very thin and they put egg plant on top to make it look thicker. Zero percent chance it was veal. The egg plant was good, just seemed like a tactic. For 40 it seemed too thin. The crab cake appetizer was awesome but also very small. The lobster raviolis were awesome. Kids entrees were way too small , they need to do something about that.

Quality, Hospitality, Character: From the opening "Welcome" page on the menu, I knew this Chef driven restaurant would offer a special experience. We enjoyed quiet dining al fresco, as the dining room was already full, and the location a block off Elk Avenue allowed a quiet and relaxed meal. Service was attentive, especially as our server listened carefully to side comments about our appetites, food interests, and pacing needs. Dinner was delicious, as expected; with details from the kitchen firing perfectly; warm plates, presentation, portion, and YUM. With bellies satisfied, we couldn't resist the Italian Cream Cake for dessert - a hard choice, as all the desserts sounded compelling! Don't miss the Italian Cream Cake, one of the best desserts I've enjoyed in years! As my mom used to suggest, start with dessert!! Thanks for a great evening and dining experience.

We had a party of 18 for an engagement party at the noodle recently. I wish I could give them 100 stars. The bride to be didn’t know about the surprise dinner and the staff went above and beyond in helping us keep the surprise alive until they arrived. Between all of us we had both specials and regular menu entrees and the consensus was that the food was superb. I personally will vouch for the lobster ravioli with the vodka sauce. It was amazing. We highly recommend the noodle and can’t wait to come back and visit them again.

Went for an anniversary dinner. The food was aswesome. Tge service was terrific. We had the seafood lasagna and cheese ravioli with the hot sausage red sauce. Salads were fresh and dressings tasty. Overall a wonderful evening. Only criticism is replace the crappy carpet! The duct tape holding it together is tacky and unappealing

Hi. The Gourmet Noodle is exquisite, both in the delicious and varied gourmet cuisine, and hospitality. The waitress staff were wonderful! I hope this dining experience will be on your to do list, whether you are a local or visitor. We had the pleasure of meeting chef Robby, who is gracious and hospitable, with aspirations to pour infinite love into an already perfect place. Have a wonderful dinner!

Some of the best Italian I've ever had. Crazy to find it in a small mountain town. Everything was authentic and portions were perfect. Service was excellent. I'd drive the 4hrs back here, sleep the night in my truck just for dinner. Don't change a thing.

Amazing cocktails and service. Who'd have thought a RUM distillery would in a small mountain town. Come for the drinks, stay for the vibe. While my wife and I sat there we chatted with out-of-towners who have been coming here for years, locals that were just popping in to pick something up, and the bartender kept up a wonderful banter as well. Good prices, great environment, and friendly service. Get the Maharaja and the smoked old-fasioned, you will not be disappointed.

The Crème brûlée cheesecake was awesome, drink was very heavy on the Rum and could have used more coconut.

If you’re into rum and rum-based drinkings, this place definitely needs your attention. Note that they only sell one brand of rum, Montanya’s, of course. The drinks were fantastic, meticulously made and a pleasure to drink. Like other places in town, this one fills up quickly. Abbie, our bartender, was courteous and made us fantastic cocktails. We’re looking forward to our next visit.

OMG, don’t miss “Montanya Distillers” in Crested Butte! Vibrant Tasting Room, buzzing with people and incredible rums—Platino, Oro, Exclusiva, Valentia. The Señorita’s spicy kick and Fiery Passion’s tropical zing are unforgettable. Passionate staff and electric atmosphere make this a must-visit gem! We’re hooked!

Excellent rum, impressive food menu with appetizers/tapas, soups, salads, sandwiches, etc., excellent non-alcoholic/NA options, and beyond lovely ambiance and vibes! This distillery will be a must-return for us for all future Crested Butte trips!

The best cocktail bar we visited when in Crested Butte. The drinks were amazing. All cocktails are made with their in-house distilled rum. Their food was very reasonably priced, high quality and large portions (the harissa hummus plate was super good!). Ordered the boss calada, the pina calada, and the hot flash, all were so tasty. Staff was great, friendly and helpful as well. Make a reservation as it’s popular and fills up here (the first day we came they didn’t have room so made a reservation for the next night). We loved it here. Highly recommended

We tried this place today. It was fantastic! We ordered the chip with the three salsa flight. The yellow salsa was amazing. Big chunks of pineapple and habanero! Delicious We got the carnitas with green pork chili and pineapple. Best meal I have had in a while! The service here is on point! Absolutely amazing experience! 10 stars!!!

Been eating my way thru Colorado for a month and tried many different spots! Bonez was a spot our traveling companion friends daughter suggested (unbeknownst to me) that we try weeks/months prior to our visit. So while in Crested Butte, the group decided to give it a try! So, now today, at the end of our journey, I am forced to circle back to Bonez! Some of the best food we had in Colorado hands down! The margaritas (tequila list) was simply amazing! The DYI guacamole is a MUST buy!! The tostadas! The margaritas! The Guacamole! The service! The View! The location to shops. Everything was pretty amazing! We will definitely make a trip out of our way to Created Butte just to eat at this place again!! If you’re reading this, enjoy! Cheers!!

Many of the taco toppings were a little strange compared to what I’m used to but they were willing to modify them to what I like. For those in my party brave enough to try the unusual combinations, they actually liked them. The elote appetizer was good. Overall food was tasty. My only disappointment was the $8 horchata came in a very small glass with lots of ice, no free refills. I realize that most mexican restaurants don’t give free refills but it usually comes in a really large glass.

As a southerner who values true southern hospitality, this restaurant truly delivered. Our waitress, Hazie, was outstanding—friendly and made a wonderful first impression. We kicked things off with three different types of salsa, which she playfully reminded me weren't just hot sauce, as I tend to call them. For the main course, we enjoyed the steak fajitas, which were delicious, while my wife savored the quesadilla salad, which she adored. After our meal, Hazie joined us for a few minutes, and we genuinely enjoyed her company. I highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting the area; the food and staff made our experience memorable!

This was a very nice building. Decorated well. Servicer was very busy but the service was good. Had the chicken enchiladas. They were very good. It was a little loud but not excessive. Parking was difficult to find.

Our server, Delaney, was AWESOME. She really went above & beyond. We loved this place and always wanted to come back. So glad we did. Everything here is good!

What a fun, awesome, quirky place! Skeletons, sugar skulls, book cases with book titles turned the other way, and more! My veggie fajita was amazing and my husband’s dinner was reported as flavorful and enjoyable. Our waiter, who was also the bar server, was pretty awesome. My margarita was delicious, not cloyingly sweet like so many other restaurants. The bartender reported that they make their own mixer using Triple Sec and lime juice the way it should be! This would be my hang out if I lived anywhere close.

We visited here twice during our one week stay because it was so amazing. The vibe, the cocktails were all on point! The service was exceptional! We will definitely be back each time we are in CB! It’s a don’t miss!

This bar lived up to the hype. Some places tout chef inspired, hand crafted cocktails. Here, all you need to do is sit at the bar and see what that really means. Our bartender, Andrew, was fun, chatty, and welcoming. Be warned that the place is small and, even though they only serve drinks and light fare, it fills up quickly

As a born-and-raised Crested Butte local, I've given The Dogwood numerous opportunities over the years, visiting with both family and friends from out of town; however each visit has been marked by consistently rude service and an unwelcome attitude. It's disheartening to repeatedly feel like an unwelcome guest in my own hometown. Having worked in the local service industry my whole life, I understand how tough the job can be, and I truly hoped my earlier poor experiences were just flukes. However, the negative service has been too consistent to ignore, and I genuinely get the sense that customers aren’t valued or wanted here. For a place that prides itself on offering a high-end experience; from drinks to decor, you’d be better off grabbing a to-go margarita from Teocalli, where you’ll at least be greeted with a smile and friendly conversation. I sincerely hope that one day the service at The Dogwood matches the warmth and charm that define Crested Butte's community.

The Dogwood was by far the highlight of our recent trip to Crested Butte. This place is just fantastic. From the drinks, to the staff, to the atmosphere, I cannot say enough good things about The Dogwood. The Beetnick Martini was out-of-this world and the Yellow Rose (while I agree being rosemary forward) was delicious and I can't wait to have another. The folks running this place know their stuff and they know how to make a great drink so don't be afraid to try something new. Some drinks take some time to make, but it’s worth the wait. We loved the warm, comfortable, neighborhood feel of the place. And if you should happen to visit The Dogwood when they have their "balsamic, thyme and garlic pickled eggs” get some!!! They were beyond delicious!!! If you go to Crested Butte, go do The Dogwood!

Excellent craft cocktail bar in a cozy, well decorated and unique cabin setting. Cocktails are innovative and fantastic, and many drinks are made with house-infused liquor. We ordered the beet vodka drink (very beet-y, almost like a cold pressed juice) and the beesting drink (habanero infused tequila), both were amazing. Also ordered the whiskey sidecar drink and the poco loco drink (tropical pineapple vibes), which were great too. Staff was knowledgeable and helpful. They also have a little food menu. Definitely recommended, if coming at prime time there may be a wait.

Stopped by with my sister. I ordered drip coffee and Eggs Benedict with salmon. The coffee was weak, and the sauce on the Benedict tasted off—too sour and even tingled on the tongue. When we asked the waitress about it, she said it was made in-house but couldn’t tell us when. She went to check and came back saying it was fine but still didn’t answer our question. Instead, she just offered to order something else—at our expense. We didn’t finish the food (don’t want to risk the vacation) We paid for everything and left. I wouldn’t recommend this place—better to choose another café for breakfast.

Outstanding eggs Benedict with corn beef hash. Excellent spicy Bloody Mary as well! Wonderful atmosphere and excellent customer service. Please keep in mind that it is a small, cozy place with limited seating. They are very mindful of delivering the food in a timely manner so do expect a 30 minute wait even if there are open tables or bar seating. Quality over quantity that is well worth the wait!

Our favorite breakfast spot in Crested Butte! They have a ton of great options on the menu, all the classics and then some incredible unexpected dishes. Today I ordered the Potatoes Paradise, and I always add an egg along with the oh-so-delicious pork green chili to it. The Sherpa Chai was spicy and perfect. My husband ordered the eggs, bacon, and a blueberry pancake and he savored every bite. We often order the Eggs Benedict and the eggs are always perfectly cooked. Attentive servers, sunny spots to sit, plus food that arrives hot and quick make this place a staple for our breakfasts out on the town. Angie & her crew are the best!

Small little diner style breakfast place. Cute atmosphere, good food. Please note it is rather small and only has one waitress, so wait times for seats, food, and the check were a bit longer than expected. Highly recommend the Mexican coffee!

Classic breakfast joint featuring culinary excellence in combining flavors, textures, and fresh ingredients to create a variety of egg dishes. The pancakes looked awesome, but didn't give them a try. Be prepared to wait during peak times.

I had one of the best huevos rancheros with green chili breakfast I’ve ever had in my whole life, and I am old and have eaten a lot of green chili before. They didn’t just put the eggs beans rice and so on a plate like most restaurants, they put it in a little skillet type pan with a tortilla and cheese and green chili sauce, melt it over the eggs and other fillings. Yummy!

Highly recommend! Stop at the gift shop next door and grab a great cup of coffee while you wait. Breakfast was sensational, I had the biscuits and gravy…fantastic! Try a breakfast cocktail as well. You won’t regret it. Great service, and loves the old house feel atmosphere!

Great food and excellent service. Sarah was one of the best waitresses we've ever had. Place is crowded even at 130 pm but after eating here, that is understandable. We had the "Face melt" and grilled shrimp tacos. Both were large portions and excellent.

Enjoyed lunch at The Last Steep Bar & Grill in October this year. Very quaint little restaurant with great outdoor seating. It's a small building so it's sometimes hard to get a table here but is worth the wait. I enjoyed the Ranch Chicken Salad - the chicken was a little dry but the salad was good. Always had spinach artichoke dip as an appetizer and it was also good. Great place for lunch right in the middle of Crested Butte.

What a Elk Ave gem! Cozy bar and restaurant in the busy part of Crested Butte. Fantastic menu items and wonderful vegetarian options too. Great stop to watch sports, hang out or dine. Worth a visit. Pretty good happy hour specials on drinks.

First of all bravo for being one of the few restaurants open on a Monday for lunch! 👏🏻. Food was great, and so was the service. Even though it was packed the food came out fast and most important delicious!

I had a bowl of soup which was the chicken green chili soup along with the half pound burger and fries. By far the best burger in crested Butte everything else was excellent as well as the service. I had a couple of pints of pale ale. All total of the bill was about $26 before tip.

Had the crab cakes and the regular burger, while my friend had the chicken salad. It was one of those burgers that was perfectly crisp outside and moist inside, with great, fresh toppings and a toasted bun. More meat than bun, which is always nice. The fries were small, but super crunchy on the outside and had a pillowy, fluffy consistency on the inside. Crab cakes contained a good amount of real crab. Delicious!

My boyfriend and I stopped here for a bite for dinner after snowboarding all day. The fried crawfish was by far our favorite. The habanero sauce that came with it was really good as well. The rest of the food was just okay. I had the crab cake PoBoy, it’s hard for me to gauge a bit since I can’t have the sauces that came with it but seemed a little dry, had some good flavor to it though but I’ve certainly had better. The black beans and rice that also came with it wasn’t too good, was also pretty dry. My boyfriend got a burger that was local grass fed which was paying more for less meat and wasn’t really impressed. He would have rather just gone for more meat no grass fed for cheaper since the burger was just alright. But the drinks were great and the service was fantastic. Little pricey in my opinion for what it was but it’s a Ski town so.

Very good Asian dishes all around. Chinese egg rolls were perfect, Wonton soup delicious. Main dishes: sesame chicken and broccoli beef were some of the best we have had in a long time.

I enjoyed lunch here with my friend but we ordered dinner portions. Delicious food as always! When I'm in Crested Butte I always live to eat here. I had a coconut based soup as an appetizer and sweet and sour chicken for my main dish. Both were great!

Wow- this is one of the best restaurants I have been to. The soft shrimp rolls here are on another level. We were in town visiting and went to Ryce twice because of how good it was. We started out with some sake "momo kawa" which was pretty good and then we went on to the soft shrimp spring rolls and I seriously think about these all the time. Then I got some orange chicken which was so fresh tasting and that came with a side of white rice and we got a side of fried rice as well. The second time we went back we tried the mongolian beef which was also so good. If i ever find myself back in this area I will defintley go back. I would say the only negative is its popular and you do have to wait for a table.

Unfortunately their entrees are seasoned in a marinade containing fish sauce. This cannot be removed from any of the dishes. It is great that they have a number of tofu and vegetable options, but none of them could be made vegan. I did confirm this with the chef. Potential guests would like to know if this is still the case since it seemed like a good place to eat. If this has changed please reply to this review and I will happily update it.

Arrived at the restaurant at 7 pm, place was packed; we had to wait for around 30 minutes for a table. Service was good considering the place was very busy. Food was good too with big portions and definitely great value for money. We ordered Teriyaki Beef and Shrimp, Orange Chicken, Shrimp Lo Mein and a few appetizers. Special mention to their orange chicken: I’m not a big fan of orange chicken but their version was very good IMO. Will definitely go back to this restaurant if I were in the area.

I watched as my straw for my boba was caressed from top to bottom and placed into my cup without gloves or a cover. She handled a million things before making my drink so I could do nothing but kind of squirm. Food was not good. Not even for the generic sesame chicken or wontons. My sesame chicken had a legit tiny sprinkle of sesame seeds on the top. That’s it. Will not eat here again.

This is our favorite restaurant in Crested butte. The food is amazing, the portions are huge and the price is reasonable. The service is always good and the atmosphere is nice and relaxing.

This place is pretty average and not worth the cost. My boyfriend and I have tried many sushi places across the country and I unfortunately am also judging slightly from having the best sushi in the world at Jiro’s. That being said, if you also have good sushi elsewhere I wouldn’t recommend coming here no matter how much you want some sushi. We were disappointed and ended up leaving without finishing and getting some pizza down the street. For an appetizer we had shishito peppers only because it was the cheapest appetizer on the menu. They were alright, nothing special really but nothing bad. The nigiri was sad to say the least. The best out of the salmon, snapper and Unagi was the snapper. It tasted the freshest. That being said the nigiri had too much rice on it (it’s not supposed to have rice for the full length of the fish). The Unagi wasn’t really that warm and lacked flavor. The salmon just didn’t taste fresh but the snapper was pretty good. For the rolls we had a Spicy Tuna which wasn’t spicy at all really and was kind of tasteless, some roll that I can’t fully remember the name of, I just remember it tasting like it had been sitting out or something. The last roll, the sashimi roll was the best wrapped in cucumber and filled with fish. After that we decided to stop ordering and leave as we were not very impressed especially for how much we were paying for it. That being said the service was really good, everyone there was nice and our waitress was nice and tentative. In short, service was fantastic food was meh. Wouldn’t really recommend unless you’re craving sushi that bad and want to spend an arm and a leg for average food. There’s a great pizza place down the road though...

while visiting CB we took time to try several dining options. Lils was nice, staff was friendly. Service was a bit slow but understandable with world as it is. Had some nice non alcohol beverages. Sushi was ok, have had better, was not bad just not 5 star. Edamame was great! A lot of mask folks and even some non maskers felt at home.

Pretty good flavors and options. The happy hour here is really good, the sushi chefs at the bar can keep a good conversation. The sushi could be rolled a little better, typically it isn't rolled tight or round enough. But the flavor makes up for the lack of rolling precision.

I really don't understand any negative reviews on this restaurant. The service is excellent especially considering how packed they are all the time. If you want a table, don't go without reservations because this place is very popular. People should be aware that you cannot make reservations for the bar, it's a first come basis. Regardless, the sushi is excellent and well worth the wait.

We attempted to eat at Lil’s Sushi bar. We were turned away because we didn’t have a reservation. Keep in mind this was 5pm, and the place was completely empty. I had just done my due diligence prior to arriving by reviewing their website. There wasn’t even an option to even look at a menu, let alone book a reservation, and nothing indicating that such was required. Super frustrating especially considering they were EMPTY. Probably because no one knows how to reserve! Needless to say we took our business elsewhere.

Just something to consider: Today, I went to Lils with three of my friends for my sixteenth birthday. We received some of the worst service that I have ever gotten. We showed up as a group on time for our reservation and were seated immediately. We ordered extremely quickly and decisively but it took 30 minutes to get out appetizers. We finally got our sushi 45 minutes after we ordered in a not crowed restaurant. After finishing that sushi we ordered one more roll and that took another 30 minutes to receive. When given our bill of more than $80, we promptly divided our money and were ready to pay. For ten minutes we tried to politely get the attention of our waitress that stood 20 feet away in the empty restaurant discussing workout regimens and possible cosmetic surgery. Getting frustrated in the fact that it was after 10 at night and the waitress ignored us, my friend shouted out to get her attention so we could run a credit card. She snatched the bill off of the table without saying a word, ignoring my friends attempt to apologize and explain that she shouted to get her attention. When she returned, she threw the check at my friend and CALLED HER A BRAT. TO HER FACE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RESTAURANT. Feeling bad, we still tipped her and were given nasty looks as we exited the establishment. The most disappointed part was that the person our waitress was ignoring us for was the owner of the establishment that was not in the least bit concerned about the treatment her customers were receiving. Although this is the only sushi restaurant in town, I will not be returning for a very long time.

Favorite place for sushi in Colorado! Good menu, amazing service & always fresh! Our favs are the Cizz, Dynamo, and Frenchy. The poke is great too, big portion that's good for sharing. A must stop for dinner in Crested Butte.

We ordered: 1. Vegetable Chowmen- looked good but it was tasteless. Alot of tumeric flavour. 2. Vegetable pakoda were great. 3. Dahl: it is a Lentil soup. Was good. 4. Vegetables momos were also good. Fyi: According to the waitress - even the vegetable Thupka is made using chicken broth.

Stopped in at Sherpa Nepal Cafe while in Crested Butte and ordered the Chicken Curry and Lamb Tikka. Both dishes were decent but nothing particularly standout. The flavors were on the milder side—would’ve preferred a bit more spice and depth, especially for dishes like curry and tikka that usually carry more punch. The chicken and lamb was cooked well. Portion sizes were fair for the price, and service was friendly. Overall, not a bad meal, but probably wouldn’t go out of my way to return.

This Nepalese/Indian restaurant exceeded all expectations. The place was spotlessly clean, including a view into the pristine kitchen — a rare and reassuring sight. We were a party of four, sat outside, where the seating was peaceful and music delightful! The food was 10/10- absolutely perfect and delicious. The freshly baked Garlic Naan was outstanding — soft, warm, and full of flavor. We also had the Chana Masala, Saag, and Veggie Korma as appetizers — all superb, freshly prepared, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. Add in a super friendly service by the owner and his employee and a relaxed atmosphere, and we’ll definitely return to. Very highly recommended!

Quirky little place, not much room for large parties but the food was excellent and the staff was very polite. Our meals didn't take long at all to be brought out, and the Sherpa Stew I ordered had some of the most tender and flavorful lamb I've ever tasted.

Everything was delicious. Entirely new and different flavors from anything we'd ever tasted before. We had trekked in the Himalayas years ago, and the food we ate there did not leave a lasting impression. But the food in this restaurant is quite memorable. Be sure to get an order of Naan bread with your dinner. And if you have room for dessert (unlikely since the servings are large), try the mango lassi. The friendly waitress is a real Sherpa from the high southern slopes of the Himalayas in Nepal.

Loved their veg momo and veg thupka soup. They also have this soicy sauce that you can request for, which makes food taste even better!

Great location and atmosphere. The beers were pretty good too. Some people brought their kids in and they were yelling at everyone who passed by on the street from the upper balcony. It took far too long for the parents to get them to stop. Very annoying for our experience but not really the fault of the place. What was the fault of the place was the service at the bar. There were two of us standing at the bar. The other guy was ordering and I was obviously next. Then another guy came up to the bar and he got served before I did. No excuse. My overall experience was quite good but that is just horrible service.

Cute little upstairs brewery with balcony over looking downtown. Great friendly atmosphere in Crested Butte's ski town. Although I didn't stay for a bite, a lot of food options, and happy hour pricing on drinks. Novak was $5, PBR, and a shot of Jim Beam. Local and guest craft beers on tap. Dog friendly.

I always make time to visit this place and grab a few beers after a hike. I enjoy watching people while sipping their excellent brews - it's very relaxing. The bartenders are also outstanding, friendly, and knowledgeable.

Cute bar with a nice atmosphere, but overcharged me! They provided a paper receipt with a tip section, where I tipped 20% (written very clearly). I then received an email receipt with a different tip amount of 81% of my bill... If you go here, take pics of your receipt because they did not give me a copy and are scamming people!!

The Eldo! Don’t be scared. This place is amazing. And they’ve got the deck to prove it. It’s not the Eldo it used to be but it’s probably better. Locally brewed beer AND Himalayan food that will make you love Himalayan food. Momos, Tikka, Naan, beer, boxed wine, try it all. Local, clean, down to earth. You’re welcome.

BEST BAGELS IN CRESTED BUTTE – WORTH THE WAIT! We absolutely loved our visit to Butte Bagels, a tiny bagel shop in the heart of Crested Butte, Colorado that’s clearly a local favorite. We visited on a Sunday morning and there was a line out the door — always a good sign! From getting in line to walking out with our food took about 45 minutes, but it was absolutely worth the wait. We ordered the Hippie bagel on an everything bagel and the Mortimer on an onion bagel — both were packed with flavor, fresh ingredients, and perfectly chewy bagels. This is hands down some of the best breakfast in Crested Butte. Whether you’re fueling up for a day on the slopes, exploring downtown Crested Butte, or just craving a solid bagel sandwich, Butte Bagels is the perfect stop. The vibe is laid-back, the staff is friendly, and the food is well worth the hype. If you’re searching for bagels near Crested Butte Mountain Resort, breakfast before skiing, or just want a truly great bite in town — don’t miss this spot. We’ll definitely be back!

Butte Bagels is a must visit in Crested Butte. The BEST bagel sandwiches and vibes. I always get the Hippie—fried eggs, cheese, pesto, avocado, and greens on a bagel. We also love their latkes and you can use them to make a sandwich that is gluten free. 10/10 recommend this spot!

I stopped by this café and was really impressed! I ordered a lox bagel—fresh, delicious, with a perfectly balanced flavor. I also got a cinnamon raisin bagel—soft, aromatic, and with just the right touch of sweetness. The atmosphere here is amazing: cozy, welcoming, and the staff is super friendly. I’ll definitely be coming back! The best cream cheese I ever tried!

As others say, pretty darn big bagel packed full of fresh ingredients. Im a big guy and this thing I just finished, "the pow" added bacon, was very filling. The chorizo was good, not as strong of flavor as what im used to in TX. But that does not fault this sandwich by any means. Its a popular spot but fairly quick service. They have a sign saying everything is made fresh to order, good food takes time. I didn't feel it took tat long but maybe im not as impatient as others. I may have missed it on the sign or just should have asked if I could "build my own" each description I was reading I wanted to add or take away something, just to match what I was craving this morning. Either a way a nice spot to get a big ole breakfast sandwich. Took mine to go and enjoyed it out front of Rumors coffee house. Seating inside was limited. Would suggest taking it to go.

We can’t believe we found such delicious bagels in a small town like Crested Butte. Great cream cheese too. Get there early. Their popular flavors sell out. Parking is challenging. Park near Elk and walk.

If you are looking for breakfast this is a great option. We had the David on a Parmesan Bagel and a Scotty on a Parmesan Bagel in which we highly recommend! If you want it fast I recommend getting there by the time they open at 7:30am because the line forms fast but honestly is worth the wait. It’s also better to arrive early because they start running out of bagels, but they have plenty of options. The staff is friendly and quick on getting orders out and they are working and moving nonstop. Great atmosphere! We hope to get there earlier next time to try the garlic bagel, they were one of the bagels to run out fast.

Best and Most Unique Bagel Sandwiches I have come across ! The line is long but worth it for a good breakfast sandwich. Worth noting they have lots of vegetarian and vegan options too !

Came here on a monday night and there was a wait but no hostess was taking names, people would just come in and write their names down themselves. There were several large groups, our first poor waitress looked very tired. This place was severely understaffed and service was slow. There didn't seem to be any sort of manager around either, just the bartender and two waiters dealing with a full restaurant. The queso was good but a palty amount for /$9/. The two tacos my dad ordered for $4.50 each were more like mini tacos. I got the mild red sauce on my enchiladas and it was spicy-ish, but the enchiladas themselves were so good (just dont expect them to be like Tex-mex enchiladas that are smothered in cheese). Our second waiter Chris was nice but just as overwhelmed. Wouldn't recommend this place when its busy, also the margarita prices are through the roof so maybe come during happy hour.

Solid Mexican option in CB. Sat by the fireplace which was nice. We both really enjoyed the food, the blue corn enchiladas special was really good. Margaritas were strong and refilled as soon as they got low. Overall very good and the price was decent for the quality of food and service.

I have eaten at Donita's over 35 years and Tom the chef is becoming better and better!! His specials are so amazing and great. Had the most fantastic dinner special there 2 weeks ago with some of my best girlfriends. I like to eat early and they open at 5:30. They are now serving two different type of chips with salsa as an appetizer before you get your meal. I have always enjoyed the good food there

Fun, relaxed, warm atmosphere. This place is a locals favorite, family owned (2 sisters) since the 90s. They we're able to accommodate our group of 9. Great food and service. Authentic New Mexican Cuisine in downtown Crested Butte. We will be back for sure!

I really like this place. Good margarita's and fantastic and friendly service. Might not be the best Mexican food you ever had but still very decent. Prices are reasonable too. AND, me and my husband LOVE their sopapillas! We make a point to stop there when we are in CB.

The wait staff was friendly. They were late opening the restaurant. Food was not very good. I was taken aback by the fact that there was salsa laying out on all the tables when it opened. I had a green chili bowl and my husband had a rellano and enchilada. We were very disappointed in the lack of flavor in the food. Not authentic Mexican food. However, it was a very friendly atmosphere.

Really nice personal experience sharing photos and stories with our server. She went above and beyond with great vegetarian suggestions for us. They care a lot about all of the various dietary restrictions (gluten, etc). Not that we have those issues...but, it was just mentioned in conversation. Super friendly spot!

This location is a walk up and order pizza establishment. I was very happy to eat here twice in one day. The first order was perfect. The dough was NY style very large,tasty, and crispy. I wanted more so after my event in town, I ordered a to-go (large garden salad, pepperoni roll, spinach roll, cheesesteak sandwich, extreme cheesesteak sandwich). I did not receive my entree a large dinner salad. Thankfully my family shared their sandwiches which both were delicious. The pepperoni roll was very doughy. Though the spinach roll was delicious.

Mikey's is a great place for pizza if you are visiting Crested Butte. They have pizza, calzones, subs and salads. It is a little place so there is no seating inside, but there are a couple of tables outside yo sit and eat at. Pizza was great, we went with pepperoni. We also ordered a gangster sub which was good too and everything was ready in 15 mins. Great way to end our trip in Crested Butte!

Off the beaten path in CB, making it a perfect location to get a homemade pizza! The Gluten free crust was delicious, and though there was a wait, it was well worth it in the end. It was obvious this was where the locals got their pizza, so we knew it would be great.

A go-to stop in CB. Slices are great, sandwiches fantastic, never disappointed in six years of stopping in!

Mixed feelings on my order. They offer pizza slices and this was incredible, best pizza I’ve had in CB. I got a pepperoni pizza roll which was a nice side dish and good portion. The chicken parm sandwich I was most excited for but it was relatively pricey, and had almost zero chicken on it, like one chicken nuggets worth on the whole sandwich. And the sandwich was smaller than the pasta salad that it comes with and smaller than the pizza roll. Nonetheless I will 100% be back here every time I come to CB! Just won’t be ordering the sandwiches

We are a local family. We ordered take out the other night after Alpenglow. The crust couldn't have been thinner. There was a minimal amount of cheese. The toppings were sparse as well. Very disappointing to see a great pizza joint slip so far.

Best steak in crested butte. Now they have freshly flown in seafood. I've never had a bad steak there. I prefer any filet, ribeye, NY strip medium rare. Their wedge salad is great and I tried their short rib appetizer which was amazing. French onion soup is fantastic as well. My only complaints are that the prices are astronomical. We're not poor but we're not rich either. That means I can afford to go here once or twice a year in good conscious. I think the staff could be a little more professional but it's a mountain town so I figure you get a lot of transient youth who don't stick around long enough to care.

Had my bachelorette dinner at Prime and had the absolute best time. The whole staff took amazing care of us, our server Joe was excellent and made perfect wine suggestions, and our food was excellent. We ordered 2 appetizers, 3 steaks, 4 sides, and 2 desserts for 6 women to share.

Our group of 4 arrived for an early dinner after an active outdoor day. Happy hour menu was not offered to us until requested and immediately the level of service appeared to decline. Although the food was very good and we enjoyed our evening, we left feeling this establishment did not appreciate our business. Our group of 4 spent upwards of $350 in a sparely filled establishment. We will not return on our next trip to Crested Butte

Patio covered in flowers like someone's grandmother went rogue with a credit card at the garden center. It works beautifully. Got lucky with live music - apparently they don't normally do this. We hit the jackpot or someone forgot to tell the musician to go home. Happy hour oysters flown in from somewhere fancy I can't remember. Point is, they're not local Rocky Mountain oysters if you know what I mean. Went against the grain and ordered chicken at a place called "Elk Avenue Prime." Sometimes you gotta be contrarian. Honey chicken that's basically elevated KFC without the shame or the regret. Yeah, the elk is supposedly their thing. But when happy hour oysters and beer are calling your name in the Colorado mountains, you answer. Mountain town doing upscale right - fancy enough to feel special, chill enough to actually enjoy instead of whispering through dinner. Sometimes the best choice is the unexpected one.

We’ve been dining at Elk Avenue Prime annually for the past 7–8 years, but this recent visit was a letdown. While the ambience and service were decent, the food didn’t live up to expectations—especially given the price. I ordered the 8oz filet for $72, and unfortunately, it was one of the toughest and most flavorless steaks I’ve had in a long time. The mac and cheese was okay, but nothing memorable. Coming from Texas, we know good beef, and this wasn’t even close. The best part of the evening was the wine and the company. For a place we’ve consistently visited over the years, this experience was disappointing

In crested butte for fall beauty we had a wonderful surf and turf combo for 2. The meat kabobs tender, grilled oysters good and lobster tails delish. Allison the manager engaging and waitstaff lovely. Best meal during our three week Colorado tour

Daily Dose catered our wedding day, and everything was perfect! Gretchen was incredibly kind, attentive, and made the whole process so easy. The food was amazing-fresh, vibrant, and exceeded all expectations. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how delicious everything was. If you’re in Crested Butte and want incredible food with equally amazing service, Daily Dose is a must!

Couldn’t drink the cappuccino. Milk over steamed but better than Starbucks. Coffee very bitter and probably over expressed. Staff is nice and service quick and efficient. The interior is funky and clean but too dark for my taste. Very limited out door seating. Good effort on making the chocolate croissant but dough more like pie dough rather than croissanty and an odd after taste. Blueberry muffin was pretty good.

The food, the coffee and the smoothies were all top notch. I highly recommend stopping in here if you’re in town. I’m not for sure if it was the owner that I spoke to or not, but she gave me a perfect little spot for my family and I to have our breakfast where it was just us, to soak in the views of the mountains.

A cute, cozy coffee shop vibe. There’s a big chalkboard menu on the wall with food and juice options. It wasn’t too crowded on a Monday morning, but (for the anxious shoppers) that set up is a little uncomfortable as I felt in the way of the line as I looked at the menu. If that kind of stuff bothers you, I suggest looking online first so you’re prepared. My own anxieties aside, the two employees behind the counter were friendly and nice. I was tempted by the pastries next to the register, and I’m so glad I got the strawberry cream cheese danish. I was looking for a lil snack while I had my coffee, and this plus an americano was the perfect pair. There were pretty live floral arrangements on each table, which adds an extra touch of thoughtfulness to the overall aesthetic. I wish I had more time in Crested Butte to try more of the menu, but I thoroughly enjoyed the time I spent at A Daily Dose.

We dropped by to warm up. The decor and furniture had an old style cafe / coffee shop feel. It seemed like a place where you could pull out a laptop and work for hours. While the coffees we ordered didn’t suit our tastes, the food menu looked great.

Great service. I love that they offer lavender lattes. The goat salad I ordered was great. They also had gluten free chocolate chip cookies. Very delicious. I enjoyed sitting on the porch very much. Beautiful little town.

I love it when you get surprised by the level of customer service & efficiency and that’s exactly what happened here! All the baristas were so friendly and happy to serve us - excellent gf scone! The chai is perfect! The atmosphere is fun and eclectic … definitely recommend if you’re looking for a fast, local & friendly coffee shop experience ☕️

Second time at IZAKAYA CABIN, and we will keep coming back again and again. First time ate upstairs with table service, and it was lovely. Second time, ate at the sushi bar and it was even better. We walked in and I told my boyfriend, it's just such a good vibe in here. I love how there are so many different seating and service options, and everyone is so friendly - and we know how stretched thin everyone is in CB right now, but we never felt the service was off at all. But the food, y'all. Every single bite is scrumptious! Clearly this team takes pride in their menu and food quality. The fish was bonkers good, melt in your mouth. And the specialty rolls were all super yummy. 100% worth the $$ :) Highly recommend!

We came here for ramen night and were extremely impressed. The vegetarian broth and noodles were delicious. The tofu texture was exquisite. Loved the options to add sweet potato, corn, veggie dumplings, and pineapple. The servers were friendly and attentive. Only area for improvement would be that only one of the four eggs we ordered was truly “jammy” (the others were overcooked). We will definitely be back!

Izakaya Sushi & Ramen is an incredible dining spot, especially on Monday Ramen Night! Their vegan ramen was absolutely to die for—rich, flavorful, and satisfying in every way. The fried cheese curds were a revelation, with a perfect crispy exterior and soft, melty center that left us wanting more. The mochi dessert was the true star of the show—delicate, chewy, and bursting with flavor. And don’t skip the spice bombs—they added a fantastic kick to the meal, taking the flavors to the next level. The service was another highlight. Despite ordering through an iPad, the servers were attentive, friendly, and made us feel completely at ease. They checked in regularly to ensure we had everything we needed, striking the perfect balance between efficiency and warmth. With its delicious food, welcoming service, and thoughtful touches, Izakaya Sushi & Ramen is a must-visit. Can’t wait to return!

Went for the Ramen only dinner (Monday evenings), and it was absolutely delicious. Service was quick and attentive, and the ambience was delightful. Everything we ordered - appetizers, drinks, and all the ramen add-ons were amazing. This will certainly be a fixture on my Crested Butte visits.

We somehow went to a different place than the people who gave 5 star reviews. We do not mind paying a lot for quality food, but $80 for 2 happy hour drinks and 2 stale, dry, bland happy hour sushi rolls? Wow. Servers were friendly, but very confused. One of them brought food that someone else ordered to our table 3 times. Also very loud and noisy out on patio.

Super fresh, excellent sushi. We opted for the fixed menu that was $65/pp. Awesome value. Loved every course. We were upstairs and it was quieter with some 2-person and longer tables. Downstairs is the bar and community seating. Was pretty busy there as we left at about 6PM on a Tuesday.

YUM! Lived up to the hype ! My favorite was the 5 piece aburi sampler ! The Pablo escolar was my favorite roll! Highly recommend trying the wagyu skewers with chimichurri - phenomenal way to start the night. The miso soup was also exceptionally flavorful. Only thing that was just ok was the wild flower roll. Drinks were also stellar ! Favorite was the Kyoto whiskey sour followed by the ume old fashioned. Wife loved the surf and turf roll and said the handlebar vegetarian roll was just okay.

My husband and I were so happy we dined at Two Twelve for our elopement dinner! To start they poured us free champagne to help us celebrate and even gave us free dessert later on. (The peach cobbler was absolutely phenomenal) Our server Jackie was the absolute sweetest and just so down to earth :) she gave us a rundown on some items on the menu and served us with the best hospitality the whole time! We had the green leaf salad, the crispy potatoes and the king salmon for our entree. The flavor profiles for all were so unique, light and refreshing. I would definitely recommend! Apparently the salmon was also fresh caught and prepared at the restaurant and you could definitely taste the quality! Lastly we had a late reservation due to long day and even though we were the last ones to leave, we never felt rushed. Thank you Two Twelve for your great service, we will surely make it a habit to stop here every time we visit!!

What a lovely gem in Crested Butte! We enjoyed the pork chop and filet with the crudo and all were lovely, flavorful. The vibe was lovely, the seating was a bit narrow on the window side of the restaurant, it felt like we were in a tight hallway on the backside of the restaurant. My co diner had a tough time as he didn’t fit fully in the booth. Would recommend.

Food was fantastic. Duck confit was absolutely delicious. Elk with the huckleberry was the perfect pairing and was prepaired very well (not too gamey either). This place really knows how to cook meat. My one critique was that the bison was cooked perfectly and was very high quality but came in a not so appealing and over powering sauce with capers. If it had been simply seasoned that bison would have been fantastic. Dessert is also very good. Overall very high quality local ingredients that have a farm to table vibe. I left satisfied but not feeling overly stuffed despite eating a full 3 courses with two glasses of wine which speaks to the quality and appropriate portion sizes.

Ok. If you like places recommended by stefan from Saturday day night live, you'll love this place .While I I love Stefan, I wouldn't go to the crazy places he recommends. This is the snootiest restaurant I have ever been to. Micro muffins that they sold for $16 literally made me laugh. They were so tiny. The meal came with nothing, which is fine but to just get some rice on the side of your steak that was $72, add another $36 for rice. The dessert was supposed to be cobbler but it was literally just five small apple slices gelato next to it. Not very good either. If you're wealthy and really loved to go places that show you've got money, you'll probably like the tiny portions and not impressive food. But for the rest of us, we'd actually like to have a nice meal for our $250 single entree meal. Very nice wait staff though.

Our second visit to Two Twelve was just as spectacular as the first! We savored another incredible meal with top-tier service, seated at the prime table in the restaurant. Our server, Bex, was fantastic, offering spot-on recommendations for our dining experience.

Great meal of small plates and sides, which were all very generously portioned. Loved the N/A drink options and the abundance of gluten free options. Attentive and friendly service and polite staff all around. Pricey, but totally worth the atmosphere and quality of product. Very farm to table and well thought out, seasonal menu.

Incredible! Flavor, presentation, service and ambiance were all 5 stars, even on one of the busiest nights (July 3). Ingredients are sourced locally as possible, flavors are seasonally appropriate, portions are perfect. Service was personable and professional. Don't hesitate!

All around excellent dining experience complete with amazing food and service. We really enjoyed the Fancy Toast, Crudo and the meatball starters as well as the pork rib chop sharing plate. I'd highly recommend both the Hot Date and the Detroit style flatbreads. Definitely a great place to stop when in town!

We enjoyed the black garlic butter with our sourdough chunk, as well as the carrot and gochujang ravioli and the pierogis. Absolutely adore the vibes of this place.

Unfortunately, the menu looked amazing but the food was not executed well. I didn’t take pictures of everything. The honey butter that we ordered with the bread was very small and still cold, hard to spread. The pizza was only ok. The pierogis had wonderful flavor, but were dry. The burrata salad was very small. We absolutely loved the kale salad. That was a standout. The drinks were also not awesome - we didn’t like the mezcal drink (even though we like mezcal) and the gin ones both from the Roy G. Biv menu. Service and atmosphere were both great, I just wouldn’t recommend coming here.

The food is great and interesting. My only complaint is the “shareable food” is not shareable. The portions are single portions even though it is advertised as shareable. Just ignore that and order like it isn’t family style.

Best cocktails in town, gorgeous appetizers, and wonderful pasta. I have to go at least twice each visit. Don’t skip on getting a sourdough to take home.

My now husband and I rented the upstairs room at the Breadery for our wedding reception. It was such a good decision on our part. We knew we wanted a mountain wedding, but food is really important to us and we were concerned that the food our food selections would be limited in a mountain town. Breadery by far exceeded our expectations in terms of flavour, quality, and presentation. Our friends and family know that sharing good food is a big part of our relationship, and we spent a lot of time curating the items on our wedding dinner menu. Well worth it. We were so impressed by the food and our guests could not stop raving about it. My cousin said he "had a spiritual experience with each dish". We were lucky enough to be there during peach season, and of course our menu was filled with stone fruits. Delicious! We returned this August for an anniversary dinner! Will return yearly!

Best sourdough EVAH! We took an extra loaf home (they were selling quickly). We ordered the Crisp Salad and shared spaghetti and a side of meatballs. Our server made sure we had the right wine. Thank you to everyone at Breadery. It was a wonderful experience. We will be back.

Mary is a great owner! The place is a dive bar but safe for everyone. Mary made drinks, open windows, move a pool table for live music, and all over everything. Coming back soon!

We were camping and got set up late. Everywhere else was either closed (most close at 9), not kid-friendly and rude, or out of food — Butte burger was out of burgers — but we walked into Talk of the Town to find the sweetest gentlemen who were willing to heat us up some pizzas in their own toaster oven. Felt like the only place in this mostly rude town that actually cared. Big thanks to Noah and the bar owner for taking good care of us :)

It's a great dive bar with a real authentic vibe and feel. There's live music in the weekend, and feels very local and down to earth Prices are reasonable for the area, and the bartenders are great

We had big hopes for a genuine and authentic Colorado dive bar with good people, kind souls and cool music. We found the exact opposite. Some of the locals were friendly, but the bartender and owner were incredibly unkind and rude. I do not recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun and welcoming night out. They lost our business for the rest of our stay and when we return to Crested Butte, they won’t have it then either. I highly believe the bartender and owner are on some sort of power trip. Avoid if you want to have fun.

Me and the guys out in Crested Butte on a snowboarding trip. Decided to stop by here to have some beers and hang out and talk. Nice bar, fun atmosphere, nice bartender, and there was even a local dog hanging out inside the bar which made the place seem homey and welcoming. I’m sure we will see you guys again next time we’re out on a snowboarding trip.

Ed’s the best! We had such a great time visiting CB and talk of the town was such a fun way to end our trip.

Outstanding from start to finish. This is a small cozy restaurant in Crested Butte. The staff is super friendly and efficient. There is an excellent choice of cocktails and wines. The best part is their rotating menu and their “Tapas” style sharing concept. All menu items are available to share and they have a great variety of vegetarian options too. According to the staff the menu changes every night, the usual favorites will be there but you will be surprised with 1-2 different plates a night. The food is super original with perfectly well balanced spices. Don’t miss the crispy Brussels around with cider reduction and pistachios and the boneless short ribs. This is a must in Crests Butte. It’s even my main reason to return to CB.

Absolutely incredible dinner at Django’s, 4th of July 2020. We sat in the gorgeous outside patio by a creek, and felt safe with Covid. The food was just delicious, easily becoming one of our favorite meals ever. We had the steak, the lamb, sprouts and two salads, and all were presented beautifully, and tasted phenomenal. Our server was lovely and friendly, and offset ordering on an App (due to Covid). Thank you Django’s for rounding up Crested Butte for us, the entire trip was even more memorable.

A great spot for a nice dinner when you're in CB. Service was great and we especially loved the short ribs, brussel sprouts, and flourless chocolate cake. It was my boyfriend's birthday and I'm so glad we choose to come here for it!

Was here for an event and got to meet and speak with the chef after reading about her prior. The food was delicious and the rest of the staff was outsiding. I would recommend stopping by if you are in town!

Crested Butte's gem you must experience! My husband and I really enjoyed Django‘s. We were seated upstairs where you are overlooking the bar and downstairs seating. The ambience was perfect with string lighting in the windows and drop lights over the bar. You order 3 or 4 dishes for a party of 2 and they are brought out to be enjoyed one at a time. We ordered the beet salad, trumpet mushrooms, Brussels sprouts and short ribs. While each dish was put together very well and absolutely delicious the Brussels sprouts were a dish that deserves a medal! Amazing! Then for dessert, flourless cake served with delicious house made ice cream! It was heavenly. The service was incredible, friendly and precise. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner as well who is very genuine & obviously passionate about what they do. We recommend this be a destination you must experience with your stay in Crested Butte.

We were really looking forward to trying this restaurant. Firstly the service and ambience are great. The food menu is varied and certainly good choices to satisfy all palates. Maybe it was an off night but the flavors just weren't there - everything was just sadly bland and didn't live up to the reviews posted here. Portions are small (small plates to share concept) so be aware. The desserts were great though.

This quiet little dinner spot was absolutely delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive, the smoked maple old fashioned was wonderful and each dish was tasty and nicely flavored. We had the beet salad, arancini, spiced carrots, Colorado bass and lamb. I’d order each of these again, maybe with the exception of the bass. It was just a little under seasoned for my taste. But the skin was nice and crisp. I would definitely visit again next time I’m in crested butte

We have been there in the past and it was good. Ate there tonight and it was not the same as in the past. Good servers, but food, atmosphere, and price were terrible.

Unique and delicious

This was a good breakfast place but I wouldn't say it was anything special. The atmosphere was good but I also wouldn't recommend larger groups coming here because there is no space to sit large tables. My group had to sit separately which is fine, but just for reference it was 10 of us. I got a classic sausage ,hasbrown and egg meal with a pancake and again good but nothing special.

McGill’s Café is a true Crested Butte breakfast classic. The staff was friendly, the service was quick, and the food was excellent. We had the cinnamon roll, eggs Benedict, and corned beef hash — all three were delicious, hearty, and exactly what you want in a mountain-town breakfast. The portions were generous and everything tasted fresh and made with care. It’s the kind of spot that feels both local and welcoming, the perfect way to start a day in Crested Butte. Highly recommend if you’re in town.

I love this place. The food is excellent and the staff is always so friendly. It can get pretty busy in the high season but in off season it’s so easy to get in for breakfast or lunch. My favorite is their biscuits, I always great it as a side to my meal! Also the French toast is very unique and delicious! The food came out fast and hot. I definitely recommend getting there early in the summer season or be prepared to wait. Wing in elk ave it can get very busy.

This is a busy place. We visited during the july 4th long weekend, it could be because of that. We ordered 3 egg omelette with hashbrowns & biscuit. It was good. I had high hopes for the french toast but the blueberry compote was way too tangy & lemony that it dominated the whole thing, wouldn’t recommend that unless you’re a fan of sour desserts.

Soooo, we will not be returning. When entering we asked if the wait was long and sat at the bar to avoid even more wait. Turns out that was the wrong call because even though we ordered almost right away tons of food came out before ours. We waited 45 minutes for our food. Thank goodness we asked it to be packed to go after a half hour because we had a meeting to get to. Our server was incredibly nice, but obviously stressed. It was clear food was not coming out in order. And whatever manager was there was not that helpful I could tell. Even when we finally got our food the manager told our server to charge us for the ranch we ask for ($2 btw for a small ranch). It was right as we were headed out and the manager left to the back of the store when it happened making it impossible to reason with her. I felt that after so long of waiting and given the wrong impression about timing we should have been given some leniency. We paid before we even got the food so we could leave as soon as it arrived which is why the ranch wasn’t included. If we were able to eat at the restaurant like we wanted and our food came out on time of course we would pay for it like normal, but to throw that on us after bad service just as we are about to leave and not even mention once that you were sorry for the wait. Ridiculous. Again our server was so sweet and did everything she could. Also the amount of carrots was sad and disappointing. I love carrots and for the cost of these wings a decent amount is expected.

I’d go back but, first I’d have to tryout some of the other breakfast places in town. On the plus side the food was tasty and fresh. On the negative side, the service was slow, my food wasn’t hot and the restaurant was stuffy. My gf’s food was hot so maybe their timing off this time.

The staff was not very friendly. I'm not sure if it was because we were not locals or why they (both ladies behind the bar) had such a cold shoulder and came off short. 🙁 They also rarely checked on us and when she brought more Splenda instead of being kind, handing it to us and smiling. She avoided eye contact and shoved it into the carrier. The food was pretty good though and the kitchen staff seemed nice. We ordered the classic eggs Benedict with avocado & the haystack. Will add pictures of food and receipt for others to see the pricing.

Homemade ice cream to write home about! The coffee and lemon are wonderful. The rest of the family raved about many of the other flavors - all we tried were winners.

Probably the best ice cream I've ever had. I'm so glad we stopped here. The honey lavender and crème brulée were unique and amazing.

Stopped in while visiting from out of town (we live in Colorado) and immediately felt unwelcome. The woman behind the counter barely acknowledged us — no smile, no greeting, just a cold, dismissive attitude that made us feel like we didn’t belong. It wasn’t busy, so the lack of basic kindness stood out even more. What’s most disappointing is that this place presents itself as inclusive and community-focused — what’s ironic is, they make you feel unwelcome if you aren’t from CB. The baristas entire demeanor changed when a local came into the shop. But that spirit was nowhere to be found during our visit. If you’re not a local, don’t expect a warm welcome. Nice space, okay coffee, but energy matters — and this just didn’t feel like a place that wants you there.

We had just pulled into town after driving 14 hours through the night and this was our first stop. The coffee was much needed and so delicious. Also loved all of the art for sale and the bookstore connected. Such a great spot.

Our breve lattes were delicious and they had a couple of gluten free pastries but there is cross contamination. They aren’t wrapped they are in the same area as the gluten ones. I saw the guy grabbing it from the display ones.

We got a large mocha to go along with the banana nut bread slice. Both of them were delicious! Kept us full till we got dinner.

Hands down (consistently) the BEST latte in town. And the cinnamon rolls are too good to pass up! Big enough to share but why would you? Staff is always very friendly and in great spirits. A must try in Crested Butte!

Can't believe how many times we've driven past and I had no idea what a great casual food option was inside, but glad we finally checked it out. Great breakfast sandwiches - recommend the hurley, and the biscuit option for bread is nice. We liked it enough to grab breakfast there a second time. There is a small indoor seating area towards the back of the place. Everyone working there is wonderfully friendly too!

Better late than never for this review, but first off I spent a month in CB 2011 training for Leadville 100 MTB & all I did was eat, sleep and ride and every post ride was GC and on Vanlife road trips I’ve stopped off in CB for some riding, skiing and some filthy good GC! Best of Colorado right here & still going strong, great job!

Rude and refused to make a fresh pot of coffee. Also a bunch of teenagers just hanging around that laughed when we asked if there was anything fresh. Will never go back to that store again. Very inconsiderate and immature. Thought that it would be a better small place to get something from but guess not. Maybe some thoughts of changes should be made if they are going to be run down young kids like that.

Did the burger patty change? It seemed like a pre-formed Sysco puck vs all the previous years of excellent burger patties with crispy edges. Still one of the best and most affordable options in town but I might just stick to breakfast now.

10/10 breakfast sandwiches so a great way to beat the line at Butte Bagels. Unfortunately the coffee is awful. Still 5 stars since they saved us a hour long wait.

We’d heard nothing but good things about stopping by this gas station deli for some sandwiches, we came 15-20 minutes before their lunch hour started and they told us we’d have to stand there and wait to order anything, so we figured we’d come back later. We came back about 15 minutes before they closed their grill and they said they were shut down early and wouldn’t take orders again. TLDR: Either they get enough business where they’re not concerned about going the extra mile for customers, or they just don’t care. Edit- We did not visit during 4th of July weekend, we came a month ago at the beginning of June. Owners blowing off a critical review by saying it’s a holiday weekend is sad.

Its a low key food joint / grill/ convenience store/ gas station. Cool staff and good food that won't break your budget in Crested Butte.

The servers were super attentive. Kept coming to check how the food was and if we needed water refills. I asked for Thai tea limeade and they made it for me! Super sweet family! Would definitely come back if I come back to crested butte for snowboarding!

This is hands down some of the best Thai food I’ve eaten. This is a cute, nicely decorated restaurant. The service was exceptional and they make you feel like you’re so special. I had a small cup of a clear consume like soup that was simply amazing. I’ve never tasted anything like it. There is another Asian food place in Crested Butte. I’ve eaten there on past trips but Thai Chili will be my go to place from now on. I highly encourage everyone to give it try.

Very delicious and wonderful service! Still waiting for when they open for breakfast and serve Jok!! We got pad see ew and Khao Soi, not pictured is the shrimp tempura! Thai iced tea my friend got was great as well.

If I could give this place 10 stars I would!! The staff is so friendly it feels like you are over at a friends house for dinner. They gave us great recommendations too. The food is so flavorful, it was absolutely delicious! We were so full but couldn’t resist the dessert options- Definitely worth it!!

Sawasdee khrub! An authentic Thai experience. You must try the TomYum (chefs special) and the Thai tea! After moving back from Bangkok, this was such a great way to get a taste of Thailand.

The place has a very cozy feel and the service was exceptional. They gave great recommendations on the menu and the food came out quick with great flavor. Don’t miss out of the duck noodle soup! I had come down with a small illness and they offered some broth to take home. It was incredibly generous and speaks to the quality and family feel of the restaurant. HIGHLY recommend this place the anyone swinging through Crested Butte!

Overall a pretty good selection of ice cream, I am especially thrilled that they offer Huckleberry which is a delightful flavor. The only downside is that the ice cream is not homemade, but branded. So if you're looking for Blue Bunny ice cream, you've come to the right place. If you're looking for something bespoke, you might not find it here. Unfortunately I have to take off one Star because of their outrageous prices for one scoop of ice cream. It is absolutely highway robbery!!!

It was my 15th wedding anniversary and I love surprises. My husband and I treated ourselves to $200 worth of Bears and Truffles. A Bear has your choice of nuts (Peanut, Almond, Cashew, or Pecans), caramel, and then covered in dark, white, or milk chocolate. Yes, I am blessed I tried each and every choice! Thank You!!

The folks working in the store weren't particularly helpful and a bit rude. If it wasn't the only chocolate shop in town, I would take my business somewhere else. The is a guy at the Saturday market on Elk doing craft chocolate. If you can wait stop by and see him!

Great place for bringing your kids... the ice cream is the best and there is a stuffed bear outside that my family likes taking pictures with when we visit.

We went in today to buy cookies and chocolate and the employee behind the counter refused to help us. We waited for her to finish loading boxes of chocolates for about 10 minutes and even waited at the cash register and she refused to look up at us. There was only one other person in the store and they had already bought what they needed and were just hanging out. It’s sad because I love their chocolates there and was excited to buy.

Ice cream is ok, service not too much. Unfriendly girls. If you dont like your job, find something else 🤷‍♀️

Good shop, except overpriced and is a chain with over 320 other stores so don’t think your getting something homemade. The ice cream is good but is blue bunny and dreyers brand and the truffles are super expensive. They are pretty good but not for the price.

I had such a wonderful experience here! My husband and I sat at the sushi bar and were able to watch Chef Paul prepare the sushi and chat with him. We had Paul’s spoon, the bento box, and wagyu (which had a COA); the toro and hamachi were our favorite. The service was also excellent - from the servers to the kitchen staff. The best part - Paul gave us Kamatoro on the house; such a treat! We will definitely be coming back next time we visit crested butte. Worth every penny!

Overall a solid sushi restaurant, definitely cater to a little bit more high-end tastes and you can tell that when you walk in. They a boast and pride themselves in having fresh fish, which is obviously hard to do in a mountain town. I do think the fish was fresh and overall the maki that we had was pretty good. Good customer service, as the staff will help you identify things that will suit you. I've had a lot of great sushi in my life, so hard to say best-ever, but great for in the middle of Colorado! I would recommend visiting here.

We had an absolutely lovely experience at Yukihana. From the moment we arrived for our reservation at the sushi bar, we were warmly welcomed and promptly seated. The ambiance struck a perfect balance between relaxed CB casual and elevated — ideal for a celebratory night out. Service was truly immaculate, some of the best we’ve experienced in the valley. Will took excellent care of us throughout the evening, offering thoughtful guidance on both beverages and dinner selections. His knowledge and attentiveness elevated the experience, helping craft our dinner experience and relieving us from decision paralysis. As for the food — every dish was a standout. The fish was incredibly fresh, and each piece of sushi was expertly prepared and presented. You can tell there's a deep respect for quality ingredients and technique here, with a creative touch that keeps things exciting. Thankful for Chef Paul and Chef Shawn for a delicious evening and their humble, graceful hospitality. Yukihana is a true gem in CB. We’re already planning our next visit.

We ordered what chef Paul recommended. Oh my! A beautiful 9 box bamboo plate with 9 small servings of sashimi (what we requested)!!! The most personable service and warm environment! You must try yukihana if you like sushi!!!!

Sit at the bar, watch the magic happen, converse with the knowledgeable chef after receiving lovely sake and sushi suggestions and banter with the waitstaff. A really fun experience with great food. Try the fresh wasabi and uni shooter!

The food was so delicious we didn't even want to take the time for photos. The presentation, freshness, and flavor profiles were out of this world. Our waiter (so sorry slipped his name) completely added to the experience! He was knowledgeable and genuinely cared about creating a wonderful dinner. We enjoyed sitting at the bar - we felt honored for the opportunity to try fresh wasabi!! Absolutely will return & continue to recommend.

Excellent food and service for our late lunch! Really enjoyed the atmosphere here, and they have a great selection of beers. I loved the confit buffalo drumsticks and the brisket cheesteak, and the kale salad was delicious--highly recommend all. Can't wait to come back for dinner and try the elk meatloaf and braised pork shank.

We had an amazing experience at Bruhaus on Christmas Day! We ordered a burger, a cheesesteak, drinks, and the hummus appetizer, and everything was absolutely delicious. The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared, and the drinks were spot on. What really stood out was the exceptional service—despite it being Christmas Day, the staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. Thank you so much, Bruhaus, for being open on Christmas Day and providing such a wonderful dining experience. We’ll definitely be back!

Overall a good place! The food was pretty good! There’s plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. And an outdoor bar as well. The vibe is pretty cool as well and it’s located right on elk Avenue. We both had the lamb gyros and they were pretty good. A little bit greasy, but overall the flavor was really good.

Great find on the main drag! Super great atmosphere, food was delicious, and $3 LaBatt Blue on tap—what more could you ask for?! Sat at the bar outside under the string lights on a holiday, it was pretty busy but the bartenders kept the drinks coming, Lily was our favorite! Definitely would come back here.

We only had wine and desert, no other food. Beautiful patio, great music, and enjoyed 2 amazing deserts. Please try their Croissant Bread Pudding and peach crumble. Amazing!!!

Regulars to CB and how lovely to have a new yummy place to enjoy! We had the cheese curds, pork shank, and cheesesteak! All were delicious. The atmosphere is also great! What a wonderful addition to the old standbys of CB!

My friend and I were in town visiting and would end the evening every night here with a beer and playing a game of pool or darts. Super chill place and nice bartenders!

Wouldn’t necessarily classify this as a dive bar, but two beers for $6 is a good deal. Plus free popcorn. And shuffle board! The outside tables with umbrellas is also a nice touch to stay cool in the summer

This place is so much fun a group of us from Breckenridge came down and had the absolute best time with Shelly the bartender. Peart, the doorman was also really nice and helped us out with understanding the rules of the shuffleboard table. 10/10 will go back was such a great time!

Cool little place to hang out in CB. Darts, Pool Tables, Shuffleboard and good drinks. Allow under 21 in before 9:00, so not a bad thing, especially if you have underaged ones with ya!

Strictly reviewing off of breakfast experience. But it was fantastic. Wonderful strata style egg meal with toasted baguette. Carafe of mimosa was a wonderful touch. Would highly recommend if looking for a breakfast place in town.

We were pleasantly surprised with this venue. It was the only venue (that we could tell) that was actually on the creek. Sitting outside, this creates an amazing and relaxing atmosphere as you enjoy the sound of running water. Our server was great and gave recommendations on the menu, and I really appreciated how he spoke up when I chose a side he didn’t agree with and suggested another. I’m glad I listed- he was right and the Mexican corn paired nicely with the rib platter (very tender and great tasting homemade bbq sauce). My wife really enjoyed the trout dish, which came with quinoa. The menu was small but mighty, which is usually a good sign. Our server even gave us a hiking trail recommendation. We’d come back!

My fiancé and I were very happy with this restaurant! Cool location, great service, and good food. We started with the beets (pictured), and I ordered one avocado tempura taco, my fiancé got the Coal Creek burger. My fiancé said the burger was one of the best burgers he’s had in a while and thoroughly enjoyed it. The fries the burger came with had a great flavour and were cooked perfectly. The beets were pleasantly plated and the oil/sauce on them was very tasty - herbal and fresh. The avocado tempura taco was a bit different than I expected, it was covered in a white/green sauce that tasted a bit like wasabi. Not very flavourful overall, but was a good amount of food.

Coal creek grill, by far, has the best breakfast in Crested Butte. The food is always amazing, the service is pleasant and fast, and the atmosphere is great as well. You can choose to sit inside or outside on the patio by the river, which is a nice option. Also, on the patio you can bring your leashed dog. So, it’s a great option with those for furry friends. Also, don’t miss out on the delicious carafes of mimosas, I know I can’t pass a good mimosa up! This is my number one spot in CB for breakfast, and I have been to them all. Don’t miss your chance to go too!

My favorite sunny day lunch spot in CB. I order the Colorado Peach Tea (with whiskey 😉) and the Cheesesteak (bc leftovers). I love sitting outside and listening to the water rush by!

This was one of the best dinners I’ve had in a long time. Traveling from Pensacola, Florida to Crested Butte. We didn’t know where to go to eat after snowboarding. Decided to go downtown and found this place. It was delicious… Ordered the bao buns, wagyu tacos, deviled eggs, and loaded waffle fries. The flavors of everything was just amazing and blended together so well. Bao buns were the best ones I’ve ever had, felt like a marshmallow. All so good, would definitely recommend going here. 5 stars.

I’m still dreaming of the boa bun tacos. They are simply amazing, a must try! The service was really good too, they were very busy but still things came out in a timely manner.

The Hideout is a great restaurant tucked away in Crested Butte, Colorado. There is indoor/outdoor seating. The menu has a great selection and has a good mix of dishes with Korean and Thai seasonings creating great flavor. The miso chocolate chip cookie sounded weird but was one of the best chocolate chip cookies I have ever tasted. Make sure to get one.

I had an amazing time at the Hideout this past week. I tried the daily special, Dank Oh’s, and loved the experimental take on the classic onion rings. As for the main course, YUM. Myself and a buddy split the chicken sandwich and the Powder Hound Burger, both were phenomenal. The burger was really juicy and fresh, and topped with a pork belly was an amazing. I’m not usually a person who like a big burger topped with a lot of different things, but the Powder Hound was a true exception. As for the chicken sandwich, this more than your normal chicken and sandwich and it shows as soon as it enters your mouth, crispy yet juicy, salty and yet tangy. I would definitely recommend both, specifically after a long day skiing fresh pow!

Great local restaurant with outstanding customer service. One of the best French dip sandwiches I've ever had and served with perfect mashed potatoes and gravy. We were seated in the backroom which is great for any size groups. A must visit!

I’ve been here several times now and it’s officially my go-to spot when I’m in town. Anyone I bring with me always loves it! Super flavorful and wonderful selection of dishes. The chef does a great job and service is always awesome. Don’t sleep on The Hideout!!

One of the best meals. Those onion rings with all the goodies..oh wow. That pineapple pico and kimchi ..delish. The baos/lettuce wraps were amazing and the wagyu burger was so good(can’t remember the name but it had pickled onions and cucumbers and micro greens) so great and such great flavors!

Absolutely fantastic! Incredible baked goods and breakfast options. Local coffee and able to do espresso. Worth a visit and a staple in breakfast options for CB.

Great quaint place in town. Friendly staff and fresh, in house made bagels. Got a fantastic bagel sandwich and a coffee for around $8.

Not bad at butte bagels. Bit of a mess inside when there’s a line but otherwise good food reasonably quick. Grab a coffee somewhere else if there’s a line and wait in line with that as their coffee is OK at best.

Super helpful and friendly! Stopped by one morning because my wife was pregnant and was craving a bagel to eat with nothing else on it. The employees brought us back to where they were making fresh bagels to let her pick one and sold it for almost nothing. Izzys left us with a good impression that morning.

Incredible food, friendly service! They are great at communicating wait times and call you when your food is ready. Offer so many great things from made to order bagel sandwiches, latkes and plate-sized pancakes that are wonderfully fluffy and delicious. I see why this is a local favorite!

the food is ok but there is almost no seating, and the food takes forever. While waiting in line to place our ordern, we got cut by what we assume are two local friends of the cooks. They jump the line and got their food right away. No wonder they are so slow. bottom line, Crested Butte is full of great restaurants, so why go somewhere you can't seat and enjoy your meal.

Great breakfast spot. I highly recommend getting something with latkes in it. This place is busier every time I go back, and they deserve the business. Waits can get pretty long during busier times, so you might want to call in your order.

A easy way to make a yummy treat. It’s good, I’ll give it five stars because it is what it says it is. Service can be slow because they have one processor and it’s busy.

New Zealand style ice cream in Crested Butte...really good. Not sure it's worth the 30 minute wait, but 30 minute wait in the shade with a breeze on Elk Street is the good life.

Real pieces of fruit in the ice cream. So much flavor. The staff is nice too, and would fix an order if there are issues.

So great we went back twice in one day. We got the mixed berry and it was so fresh and tasty. Super nice and quick service. Even gave us a free sticker for two visits in a day. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Dear management, choose one (you can't have both) - - A trendy club scene venue with high energy and loud music well into the night - Premium lodging offering comfort, luxury, and serenity to high paying guests I paid an exorbitant rate for the latter and got the former.

We had an amazing stay at Public House Lofts. The room was spacious and so comfortable. The location was incredible. Communication with the host was awesome and quick. They were even able to help us get tickets to our favorite band who was playing at Public House during our stay. We will definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Crested Butte!

My husband brags that he can pick the best hotels. He was 💯 % right with the Public Lofts. The room was beautiful, the bathroom was better than the Four Seasons and location was perfect. Our host was wonderful .. really, they deserve 10 stars!! Thank you for making my husband's race weekend perfect 🥰 The towel warmer, steam shower & luxury lotions & soaps were soooooo wonderful! We will stay here again!!!!!

Nice place went at off time so not busy so quiet which is hard to find . Had good service the elk chili was really good and a little spicy.

They have deli sanwiches, tuna and chicken salad, beef lasagna, ricotta and spinach stuffed shells, homemade desserts and they change up the menu periodically. The food was delicious. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend!

Avalanche was recommended to me by my ski instructor. He was spot on. Both times I went for lunch I had to wait about 10-15 minutes for a table. Your whole party has to be there otherwise they won't seat you. The first time I ordered the potstickers and sweet potato waffle fries. The fried potstickers were okay, but the sweet potato waffle fries were awesome. You could taste the truffle oil and the creamy dipping sauce was a nice touch. Prices were reasonable and service was quick. The second day I ordered chili and sat in the back by the fire pit. I recommend Avalanche over other restaurants by the base.

Awesome place to hang or get food and drinks. Prices are what you'd expect for being in a base area but the staff is friendly and the food is good. Sonetimes the fries are overcooked so if you like your fries without a crunch, just ask your sever. Overall,very cool place with a great throwback ski vibe.

Great after ski bar and grill. Simple menu and excellent food. Great prices on happy hour drink specials. Worthy stop after a great day of skiing. One of the last hold outs from the Vail switch over.

Great drinks, better food! Ask for the Avi warning and check out their wonderful selection of mimosa themed drinks. Their burger selection is beyond par and you can get it custom made such that yout can even get a croissant as your bun instead of the traditional buns which I personally feel takes it to a new level.

Absolutely awesome food and service. The hacky sack was delicious and the cream cheese/avocado spread. Yum!! My son had ribs and he said they were the best.

Not too pleased, for all the wonderful restaurants and options in Crested Butte this one is a dud for me. My well done burger that I got to go was very pink and my side of fresh fruit, instead of French fries that was $2 extra was a few orange slices. Not worth $16.50 to me. Sorry guys, you were very nice, like most everyone here in CB, but dinner was a disappoint.

My friend and I sat at the bar today and watched the cooks use their bare hands to serve everyone's fries. Now you may say that their hands might be clean, but we watched the front staff handle cash money, write orders on tickets, grab the ticket and give it to the cook who grabbed the same dirty ticket, stuck it to their queue and immediately grab fries to give to customers to eat. Disgusting, we couldn't even eat our food after that. I can't believe that during a time where we are well more aware of reducing germ spread that the people in back would use their bare hands to touch our food.
