Wobbly Boots Roadhouse is a lively spot that offers both a convivial watering hole and a barbecue joint, with the added bonus of scenic lake views. This place is perfect for those who enjoy live music and watching sports on big screens. The restaurant has gained recognition from various sources such as Southern Living, Golf Magazine, and the Kansas City Star for its outstanding BBQ at Lake of the Ozarks.
We had dinner here back in the fall of 2019. The service was great. Our server was very attentive. The food was delicious, and I would definitely come back to try more! My children also loved it, so that says something!

I got the French dip, it was good. Bottom was a little sogged out but that happens when the meats juicy. And it was. Good steak. Au jus was nice. Seasoned well. Boyfriend got the Cuban, wasn't a fan of the mustard choice but said other then that a good sandwich. Mac and cheese was good just wish it would of been a little warmer. Service was good. All in all 4 stars. Cool little place to grab a bite to eat.
Alyssa W — Google review
I had the turkey & beef brisket combo. It was a little dry. Only slightly warm, but that's typical for BBQ. We sat at the bar & the service was great. The onion rings were giant & delicious. Price very fair for the area.
Shasta G — Google review
This was our first time going there. We ordered takeout. We purchased a property this weekend, so there is no time to cook. Wow, this food is delicious. There are so many good things. We ordered this because we wanted to have food for the next day. The cheesy corn is so good. The bacon wrapped shrimp were amazing. The brisket top notch. The pulled pork is amazing! The crab stuffed mushrooms were just okay. They were our least favorite , they were still good. All the rest of the stuff was just outstanding.
Michael A — Google review
I stopped here to pick up dinner to take home. It was amazing and plentiful! Seriously, there was enough food for me to have lunch the next day. Dinner was catfish filets, a huge baked potato, and a salad. They even put in a piece of Texas toast. All of the extras were there, butter, sour cream, eating utensils... the works! Very thoughtful! Even the ladies at the counter that took my order were cordial. I have eaten here several times, but this was my first take-home order. I was very impressed. 😋
Holly D — Google review
No wait when we arrived. Got an order of fried pickles, an Ozark Lemonade & a 2 meat plate with brisket, burnt ends & cheesy corn. Pretty tasty & worth the stop.
M G — Google review
At the lake for training and tried this place out, fried pickles were kinda on the thick side, but still yummy, my favorite was loaded fries, the queso had a little kick to it and was delicious, I got the pork tenderloin meal and it was pretty tasty, geen beans not my favorite but im kinda picky on them, I still ate them :) Food was reasonably priced as well. The waitress was at our table several times checking on us, she did a great job and was very friendly!!

We arrived on Monday June 16, 2025 for Game 5 of the NBA Finals, just after 7:00 PM CDT. The website clearly says that you can watch all of the big games. We asked three (3) times for them to change the channel to ABC for the game. Three (3) times they told us it wasn't available. Instead, they showed us American Ninja Warrior on NBC. The lack of a big game on the TVs is unacceptable for a restaurant that bills itself as "A Sports Fan's Paradise." This is especially true when the game is on network TV and not on a premium channel. We still are and drank, but we didn't stick around too long. Food was good. Service was adequate. Photos show what was playing on the TVs and a screenshot of their website.

Restaurant
HalfSauced Barbeque is a laid-back wood and stone lodge in Osage Beach, offering wood-fired pit BBQ, sandwiches, salads, soups, and sides. The chef's passion for cooking led to the establishment of this eatery. It serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a variety of delicious options. Located near Miller's Landing Marina in Osage Beach, it provides a refreshing dining experience with its decent food offerings.
This place is tasty!!! I was craving some bbq and my oh my this place hit the spot! The menu is exstenive and they do it well. The platter and combo plates are the best options to try more of the meats. The smoked brisket and turkey were my favorites and melt like butter. The flavor of everything was incredible. Their sides were all tasty and the spoon bread is a MUST GET. The three sauces they had were all really good as well. Mustard, sweet and spicy. The atmopshere was on theme and we were like the only ones there during the week before dinner and got our food fast. So thrilled we found this place and will be back again.
Devin G — Google review
I enjoyed the ribs, fries, and green beans. My waitress was attentive, and it was a pleasant atmosphere to enjoy my meal. It seems to be a more affordable BBQ option in Osage Beach. Good food at a more affordable price!
Tate H — Google review
The service & food is really good here you will get very good sized portions. Atmosphere was relaxing & clean. However, for a BBQ place you'd expect to have multiple choices on the sauces (as for my experience all bbq places do), this one literally only has 2 choices, sweet or spicy. They don't have regular BBQ sauce. The sweet is wayyy to sweet. The spicy is like regular spice. Or you can have mustard or ketchup. So the fact they had no regular BBQ sauce ruined it for me because I went there because I wanted a BBQ saucy sandwich. Besides not even offering regular BBQ sauce the rest was fantastic.
Kas D — Google review
We recently visited Half Sauced and were pleasantly impressed! We split the sampler platter, which included ribs, pulled pork, burnt ends, and brisket, and we added 1/4 lb of smoked sausage. For our sides, we selected pit beans and onion rings. The burnt ends were the highlight of the meal, with the brisket coming in a close second. All the meats were flavorful and moist. While pit beans were cold, it was just a minor inconvenience given all the other positives. We had no wait at 6pm on a Friday night. The waitstaff were friendly and efficient, making our experience even better. The sampler was plenty of food for two people. The casual environment with simple decor made it a perfect spot to relax after a day on the lake.
Tamara S — Google review
The food was just ok ,wasn't seasoned at all! The chicken wings although they were hot and fresh they could have used another like 10 mins cook time same for the turkey. cornbread concoction was good in taste it also needed another like 5 mins cook time it was wet and mushy! Let's talk about that brisket! It was so tender, melt in your mouth! Everything overall needed salt,or some sort of seasoning. If you like your food bland then ok it's definitely for you! I had green beans, bland no taste, and coleslaw bland and runny. I give this place a 5 out of 10! My husband feel the same!
Xylina G — Google review
Food was pretty good! We had the wings and a pulled chicken sandwich. The sandwich was 10/10 and I would give the wings an 8/10. Service was also good and the iced tea was also decent. Would definitely recommend this place for those looking for good BBQ without breaking the bank.
Alexa W — Google review
Friends catered HalfSauced BBQ at a birthday party. We couldn't wait to try the food again at restaurant. Pork steak was cooked to perfection. In house onion rings did not disappoint. Personally I could make a meal of the beans and toast. Our server early Friday afternoon was so very pleasant too
Sandy ( — Google review
Wanted to try the pork steak, but they were sold out. The half chicken dinner was a tasty alternative. Nicely smoked and juicy and along with the home fries and pit beans made a very good meal.

Mexican restaurant
Vista Grande Mexican Restaurant is a casual dining spot with traditional festive cantina decor. It's known for being the oldest Mexican restaurant in Osage Beach, MO, serving locals and visitors for 38 years. The restaurant offers to-go margaritas and has a happy hour starting at 2 p.m. It's recommended for those looking for a quick bite and drink, making it a popular choice among Mexican food enthusiasts in the area.
Absolutely loved this place at the Lake of the Ozarks! The clean bathrooms were a huge plus. The staff was very genuine, and the atmosphere was on point with great music. The portions were huge, and the prices were excellent. In my opinion, it's the best place to go around here. Highly recommend!
Amy O — Google review
This is a lively decorated spot right on the main drag. We stopped in on a Friday afternoon and were still able to enjoy lunch menu items as they serve those choices until 4pm. Chips and salsa were both top notch. Krista was our server and she was phenomenal! We wanted for nothing as she was on top of it!! The food was good too but her service made our dining experience exceptional.
Abby S — Google review
The restaurant was clean, the server was nice. Our food was very bland. Whoever in the kitchen thought this lettuce was acceptable, needs to seriously rethink their line of work. I should have turned around and left when I heard yacht rock instead of Mexican music.
Chloe W — Google review
The service was awesome and the decor was typical Mexican restaurant but the food was the worst Mexican I’ve ever had. I spent 32 years between Phoenix and Santa Fe so I knew not to expect too much but ugh! The shredded beef chimi was stuffed with yellow American cheese and covered with spaghetti sauce. Just a side of rice. No pintos on the plate. The house margarita was 2.8 out of five. Not sure what my mate got but that’s no dish I’ve ever heard of.
Amanda K — Google review
Vista Grande will be celebrating their 40th anniversary (I think) June 7 and 8. We first visited 35 years ago and still a great place! Really good to see they have kept the place up and fresh. Clean tables clean bathrooms and good food. My wife had the seafood tacos and said they were delicious. I was hungry and ordered a combo platter that had a tamale. I'm a tamale fan and honestly wasn't impressed, but the rest of the platter was filling, although it came to the table extremely hot. They were serving some margaritas everyone seemed to be enjoy, I think next time through, we will stop by for a pitcher.
Crazy F — Google review
First time back here in a long time. My favorite used to be the black bean soup. It's no longer on the menu. I tried the flautas and they were good. The ghost pepper hot sauce was very good. Overall, it was good. Food is your average tex-mex kind of fare. Our waitress was attentive and kept drinks filled.
Santina W — Google review
Service was amazing! We were 1 of 3 groups of 12 they had that night and they did not miss a thing! Everyone had their own salsa, lots of chips, food was great, and no automatic gratuity for large groups! (We left a healthy tip anyway, but t it feels yucky when it is already added).
Barbara K — Google review
I ordered a steak burrito that cost me 15.00 and it was the size of a Taco Bell soft shell taco. Are you kidding me. Don’t go it is a rip offf

Italian restaurant
Steak house
Domenico's Italian Restaurant is a cozy, family-owned eatery that has been serving the community since 1988. The warm and inviting atmosphere, along with classic Italian decor, creates an unforgettable dining experience. The menu features traditional Italian fare such as baked pastas, prime rib, pasta dishes, steaks, chicken, seafood and veal. Guests can also enjoy all-you-can-eat spaghetti or mostaccioli on select evenings.
This has been an absolute favorite spot of mine since I have been here at the lake last July. The food and service is impeccable! Such a classic Italian steakhouse with one of the best martinis shaken by the one and only Tony! No pics of the main I completely spaced it. Nonetheless the blacked center cut fillet was the star of the show!
Chad T — Google review
We visited this restaurant while on vacation and during a slow period. Not many patrons were there at the time. While the staff and the atmosphere was very nice the prime rib was excellent, the other selection was not so much. I do look forward to giving them another try in the future but, it just wasn't over the top for me for the amount of money that was charge per steak, etc.
Michelle M — Google review
Our party all agreed the food was excellent. Blackened chicken fettuccine was amazing. Seasoning was on point and boy did they put a lot of chicken in it. No skimping here! Seriously though it was great and the portion was generous.
Kenny R — Google review
We go to Domenico’s in Osage Beach for our special occasions. We always request Kevin for our waiter. He is phenomenal. He remembers what we’d like to order and anticipates our needs. The salad with the house dressing is amazing. The steaks are delicious as are the baked potatoes. We always have a wonderful experience when we dine at Domenico’s.
Marianne M — Google review
I have no idea how you could give this place less than a 5 star review. From the moment you walk in you're taken care of. Even when waiting, they offer a bar experience letting you unwind until your meal. The atmosphere is great, but the real stars of the show are the food and service! If you are lucky enough to get Tony as your server, you'll never want to go anywhere else. He's phenomenal. Takes care of your every need, recommends the the best, and funny to boot! Then there's the food. Please do yourself a favor and get the house salad dressing. To. Die. For. I got the prime rib and green beans. I've never had such flavorful greenbeans, and of course the prime rib was amazing. O and I almost forgot about the fruit smoothie! Again, to die for. I went in a curious tourist and left a fanatic about the place. I will definitely be back when I come into town.
Lindie K — Google review
Our first visit to this restaurant but it will not be our last! The dining room is comfortable with room between tables. Our waiter, Kevin, was attentive, friendly and attentive. Our drinks were never empty, plates were cleared in a timely fashion. The entire wait staff worked together as a team. The food was delicious. I had the shrimp scampi and my husband had the prime rib! Soup and salad both very good!
JANICE T — Google review
Food was good but not as good as it should have been. Had the Fettuccine Alfredo, dry & had very little seasoning flavor. I've had much better at 3/4 the price. I was not impressed with the food & the Hostess was more worried about keeping the door shut to keep the heat out & the AC in. WOW!!!
Randy C — Google review
Waitress did not take the time to explain each item on the menu. In great detail period it was just like ordering a meal at mcdonald's. The Lasagna was overcooked, soft and mushy. The red sauce was sweet, and I can't stand sweet red sauce. It tastes like prego. I would not recommend it. One and done for this restaurant.

Fine dining restaurant
Jeffrey's Prime Rib & Lobster is a classic dining spot known for its choice steaks and seafood, as well as a full bar and deck with a fire pit table. The restaurant has undergone a complete transformation from its previous iteration as Mitch & Duff's at the Dogwood Hills golf course. Located on State Road KK, it offers an upgraded dining experience reflecting over thirty years of success under Jeff and Mary's ownership.
Jeffery’s is honestly the best restaurant I’ve ever been to. The staff is so kind and on top of everything at all times. The food was absolutely amazing, everything is very well cooked and seasoned. The pricing is very fair and the atmosphere inside and out is very lovely and flows together wonderfully. Jeff the owner takes care to talk with the patrons to make the experience really feel personal. I can’t wait till the next time I get to experience Jeffery’s again because it truly is an experience not just a meal.
Courtney L — Google review
My Grand Daughter invited me to Jeffreys to celebrate my birthday. It was truly a “Dining Experience “ that I won’t soon forget. Everything from our arrival to our departure made me feel so special. When Jeff heard it was my birthday he came to our table to wish me Happy Birthday and make sure everything was satisfactory. Believe me when I say everything was beyond expectations, I have never had Calamari anywhere that didn’t taste like fishy rubber bands, but this calamari was so delicious I wanted to order a second one. The food, the attention to detail, the atmosphere, everything and as a special added touch we were able to view several deer gather from the patio that’s equipped with binoculars. I wonder if Jeff even arranged that also to make my birthday so memorable. I can’t wait to go back.
Kathy H — Google review
We ate dinner at Jeffrey’s Prime Rib and Lobster this evening and our experience was fantastic! We are only at the lake part-time and my husband is a chef-level cook so we usually eat at home. Having wanted to try Jeffrey’s for a long time, I was excited to dine there this evening for my husband’s non-birthday (he prefers a no celebration celebration). Everything was top-notch from the very beginning. A lovely young man greeted us at the door and directed us to the lounge to await our table - we arrived before the restaurant was open and did not have a reservation. He told us Ben would take great care of us in the bar and he did! We were able to sit on the deck and enjoy the beautiful weather. My Pine Shine Martini was the bomb and my husband’s Recanti Cabernet was delicious. Our table was ready quickly, and the evening got even better. Aryssa (sp.?) and her assistants provided top level service, and the food was extraordinary. Tired of the superlatives? There’s more… the shrimp cocktail was served with a very tasty cocktail sauce, the house salad with the house dressing super yummy and the prime rib and sides perfect. We also enjoyed a perfect crème brûlée with fresh decaf coffee. On the way out, we were able to chat with Mary, one of the owners. She is as delightful as her restaurant; I wanted to sit down with her and learn her entire life story. Jeffrey’s is our new favorite restaurant and we will definitely be back. I want to try everything on the menu - also the batter fried lobster (never even heard of this before) was really good…
Barbara H — Google review
Wanted to try this restaurant and had never been there. Boyfriend and I went on Saturday at about 7:30. There was a wait, but it was just long enough for us to sit at the bar and enjoy a wonderful chocolate Martini with the Bartender, who was excellent and was only on her 3rd week of the job having moved here from up north. Once seated, we enjoyed a delightful meal with our server, Laura, who did an amazing job. We had the potato wedges, house salad (home made dressings are wonderful!!), the prime rib with shrimp and the peppercorn filet Mignon. Wow!! Everything was truly delicious and we were so incredibly full! After we tried the tableside coffee and a Crème brûlée sampler. Holy cow was this place great!!
Amanda L — Google review
They only serve fried lobster which I was not a fan of, my prime rib tasted just okay. Nothing special, same with fillet. Meal was $220🤪 for 2 dinners with no alcohol, wouldn’t go back. Our server was great.
Howard B — Google review
If you don’t eat here you’re slipping. This is the best place in the Ozarks. Mary was amazing, prime rib out of this world. I have eaten all over this country. They by far have the best Prime Rib. Cooked perfect, we will be back. Do t waste your money at Jb books or Baxters. 10/10 all day lobster bisque was perfect. Crem brûlée out of this world.
Mike T — Google review
Jeffrey’s Prime Rib & Lobster is hands-down one of the best dining experiences I’ve had at the Lake. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and inviting — upscale yet comfortable, perfect for a special night out. The service was outstanding. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about making sure everything was perfect. You can tell the staff takes pride in what they do, and it shows in the little details. Now the food… absolutely phenomenal. The prime rib was cooked perfectly — tender, flavorful, and served with all the right accompaniments. The lobster was sweet, buttery, and melt-in-your-mouth good. Even the starters and desserts were incredible; nothing felt like an afterthought. What really makes Jeffrey’s stand out is that the whole experience feels thoughtful and personal, from the beautiful presentation to the staff’s hospitality. This is the kind of place where you linger a little longer because you don’t want the evening to end. If you’re looking for a restaurant that delivers on every level — food, service, and atmosphere — Jeffrey’s should be at the very top of your list. I’ll definitely be back!
Mark C — Google review
My wife Janet and I come to the area every year for the motorcycle rally in September. We never miss the chance to visit Jeffries Prime Rib And Lobster! One word to describe Jeffries is very consistent. The family style salad with all of the fixings were right on queue, the French onion soup was amazing, all of the appetizers were properly prepared, and of course the slow roasted prime rib and crispy fried lobster came out perfectly! The staff is always friendly and accommodating, and of course seeing Jeffries's wife Mary smiling at the host's station is always a welcoming part of the experience.

Nestled on a bluff overlooking the picturesque Lake of the Ozarks, Michael's Steak Chalet has been serving up delectable steaks and seafood for over 20 years. The restaurant is renowned for its award-winning 30-day aged and hand-trimmed steaks, with the slow-roasted prime rib being a standout dish. In addition to steak offerings, there are also tempting seafood options available.
Absolutely loved this place! The views alone are worth the visit—absolutely stunning and the perfect backdrop for a great evening. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, filled with fun and friendly people that make the experience even better. The food? Fantastic. Every dish was packed with flavor and beautifully presented. It’s one of those spots where everything just comes together—ambience, food, and great vibes. Can’t wait to come back!

This is no high-end. The $40 filet was hard to cut through. The sirloin came out over cooked. Then they came back with a raw under cooked sirloin when asked for medium. Both sirloin was too hard to cut through. The mushroom lobster appitizer did not taste fresh at all. There were 3 occupied tables in the entire place. We were there for 2 hours. The service was very slow and our waitress started off with an attitude. All around the board, it was not a pleasant experience and 100 percent not worth the money. They are extremely overpriced for what they are serving customers.

Such a wonderful experience!!! We were celebrating my wife’s birthday and had heard about Michael’s Steaks and dinner was absolutely incredible!!!! We had the Lobster Bites and I got the Prime Rib dipped in Andria’s sauce and char broiled. It was the best steak I’ve ever had!! Absolutely an incredible experience. Such a beautiful atmosphere and ambiance. Our waiter Brian was amazing and the owner came by twice to check on us! I highly recommend Michael’s Steak Chalet!!!

Recommended to us by an associate manager at Margaritaville, this restaurant was amazing. This restaurant by the lake has gorgeous views and a peaceful atmosphere that adds to the unique dining experience of the Ozarks. The homemade chips, friendly service, and mouthwatering food just made it even better. I highly recommend their Ooey Gooey Butter cake. We took that to go and savored every bite. This was well worth the price and the stop. Make reservations beforehand, though, so that they will for sure be able to fit you in.

I celebrated my birthday at Michael's last Thursday evening. We had reservations for outside dining. Much to my pleasant surprise, we were seated under the roofed patio where there was live music! So enjoyable! We are long time fans of Michael's...so as usual, food and service were top notch! Can't wait to go back!

We find ourselves returning to Michael’s time and time again because of how great the food is how amazing the staff is and the incredible unmatched views if you’re looking for a dining experience at the Lake Of The Ozarks I highly recommend it

⭐⭐⭐☆☆ The atmosphere at Michael’s Steak Chalet is charming and the service was excellent—our server was attentive, friendly, and really made us feel welcome. Unfortunately, the food didn’t quite live up to expectations, which was disappointing given the reputation. With a few improvements to the menu execution, this could easily be a 5-star experience because the service and setting are wonderful.

Wife and I enjoyed some mouth watering prime rib that literally melts in the mouth. We had a window seat overlooking the Lake of the Ozarks and held witness to a spectacular lightning show. It was raining but that did not affect our experience. Highly recommend the twice baked potato!

PaPPo's Pizzeria & Pub in Osage Beach, MO is a great spot for sports fans and anyone looking for good food and drinks. The service is top-notch with a great atmosphere. While some found the food to be not quite 5-star worthy, others rave about it being the best pizza they've ever had, even compared to New York City or Italy. The crispy crust and generous toppings make it a must-try.
We ordered the Sicilian pizza as a take and bake for New Year’s Eve. The delicious smell of that pizza on the way home almost made us wish we weren’t baking it until the evening. It was that amazing! The ingredients were very generous and all the baking instructions were included. It probably would have been better in their ovens, but it was very good in ours. We’ve been at the lake for years and have always wanted to try this place.

Hands down the best pizza crust I’ve ever had. My husband is gluten free, and they were great with his food allergy. The cauliflower crust was one of the bests he’s had.

After hearing so many good things, we had to try PaPPo’s when we came to the lake. Ordered the white pizza with sausage added. Came out great. Hand tossed crust was perfect. Held the weight of the toppings without being over cooked or floppy. Service was great. We’ll definitely be back. If you love pizza come to this place. You won't be disappointed.

We had a pizza with steak and pesto sauce, and a Hawaiian. Both were very good. Great crust. The pesto made the steak sauce a little oily, but that comes with the territory. The place was interesting look and feel.

First time we've been to this one. We're used to going to pappos in Springfield. I really liked it here. Great service. The pizza was good but I think I'll stick with thin crust next time. Drinks were great and the cookies were phenomenal!!

We ordered three different pizzas, a pulled pork sandwich and a few of their cocktails and a craft beer. Everything was top notch delicious. Not one disappointment. The marinara and ranch was perfect also. Everything was fresh made in house and it tasted like it. And the prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend.

Wish I didn't like this place as much as I did! Husband and I had to try as much as we could and everything was delicious! Tip for newbies: the 8" pizza is 4 slices for hand tossed and 6 for thin, so we tried a bunch of different specialty kinds! The house salad was great, dressing tasted light but great. We tried the spicy chicken, the spinach ricotta, Mexican and steak. All were really delicious! I would recommend removing the lettuce from the Mexican because it's a little hard to eat but otherwise wonderful! So much always amazing here!

Delicious pizza at the Lake! The location is easily accessible from our condo and we love to grab pizza from PaPPo's! You can't make a bad choice when it comes to what you order! The staff is friendly and helpful! They also accept online orders thru Toast which is especially helpful when we are out on the boat. Can't wait for our next stop onto PaPPo's!! 🤤🤤🤤

We really liked Tuckers Schuckers and will def be back. The buffalo chicken dip was really good and so was the lobster roll sandwich. The rancher wrap was alright but I will try something different next time. Service was great! Very timely & personable. Nice location on the strip.

This restaurant was pretty good. First, our waiter Colton was great! Very fast, efficient and handled our big group of 8 with no problem. Our food was delicious, highly suggest the club. They put a unique spin on the classic club. Atmosphere is great and inviting. They have a huge bar with multiple drafts. They do specialize in oysters which is neat to see in this area. The Blue Old Fashioned was to die for as well!

I am visiting with friends who live at the lake and we stopped here for dinner. I ordered the Fatty Burger with a side of green beans. I was thinking about trying their Gold Standard Burger which has Bouresin cheese but I couldn’t get a sample of the cheese to taste beforehand so I went with the Fatty. I was surprised that I couldn’t change my cheese choice from American to Cheddar. I liked how they served my order open face so I could see everything. I don’t remember our waitress asking me how I want my burger cooked. I’m saying this because it was cooked well done and I never cook beef that long. The burger had a char taste which I love! They seasoned the green beans well. Our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable about everything we asked about the menu. This restaurant is on the strip near the dam so there’s plenty of nearby parking spots available. The restaurant is very clean and it has a friendly vibe. The restaurant would have received 5 stars for the food if they would have cheddar cheese as an option and if they would have asked me how I wanted my burger cooked.

Nice vibe inside! We were seated upstairs; which does not have a restroom for those who do not love stairs I do not recc. I had the blueberry fizz which is good but on the sweeter side. Buffalo chicken dip is basic but good. Clam chowder is very earthy with a lot of herbs that does not give traditional clam chowder energy. The crab cakes were really good! Lots of crab without the extra filler. I would go back.

Shane was amazing!!! Very attentive, he made sure we were hydrated and didn't mind checking back with us when I was undecided. I LOVE piping hot fries, so I was a bit disappointed when they were lukewarm, but overall still very good. Great service is sometimes hard to get so we has an amazing time due to having great service, thank you we will definitely be back!

Redhead Lakeside Grill and Yacht Club is a modern American eatery offering classic dishes with scenic water views and a unique swim-up bar. Located at the 21-mile marker, it provides open-air waterfront dining, a pool, and live music entertainment. The establishment also features an outdoor bar where guests can catch Sunday night games on TV.
We got married at Waterfront weddings on the lake on July 3rd, beautiful sunset wedding and was recommended to try a restaurant, it was kinda late but still had plenty of time, they turned us away even with our wedding attire on, so went to Red heads and so glad we did! They all were so nice and congratulated us and said how nice we looked. I'm guessing the owner or manager, was so kind ,and didn't charge for my delicious strawberry shortcake frozen drink. We took a pizza to go and great food too! We tried the cave bar and grill too on July 1st before then and really enjoyed it too, before we had a tour at the bridal cave. Had an awesome time swimming in the bar pool! Also enjoyed their bourbon burgers and orange creamsickle frozen drinks! I know it's owned by the same person. These 2 restaurants had the best atmosphere food, and service from our visit to loto from Illinois. Thanks again to Redheads for making our night even more magical!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Fantastic Experience! We had an incredible time at Redhead Lakeside Grill & Yacht Club. From the moment we arrived, the service was top-notch—friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The staff really went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. The food was absolutely awesome! We started with the chicken nachos as an appetizer—loaded, flavorful, and perfect for sharing. For our mains, we had the cheeseburger and the firecracker mac and cheese, both of which were outstanding. The burger was juicy and cooked just right, and the mac and cheese had the perfect kick of heat without being overpowering. The lakeside atmosphere was the cherry on top—beautiful views, a laid-back vibe, and an all-around great place to relax and enjoy a meal. Highly recommend this spot if you're looking for delicious food, exceptional service, and a great time by the water. Can’t wait to come back!

Fish sandwich was very tasty and fresh. Jerk chicken tacos delicious. Best potato salad ever. Pizza was good but slow to come out. Neat place on the water with a swim up bar. We were here during a very busy sat and they seemed to keep up well except the pizza cooks. Id come back again.

Took a recommendation from a staff member at Margaritaville and I'm glad I did. Right on the water, with a pool, swim-up bar, and poolside service. The blacked fish-tacos (with corn tortillas) had a perfectly balanced spice, sweet and citrus. Think family pool party - with a nice gift shop...

First time at Dog Days and I got one of the best servers Ive EVER had. Rachel was attentive and kind. She spent time finding a drink my diabetic MIL could enjoy and it was yummy and sugar free! You could tell she enjoyed making our experience great and I'd come back just to be helped by her again. The pool, didn't smell of chemical but was pretty cloudy. Made me feel like everyone was just sitting there peeing in it. Some of the Security guards need to manage their tone when speaking to patrons. Others were kind and knew not everyone had been there before and how to be a human being.

Literally our number one, go to place to eat. Today, I had the Beer Battered fish (recommended by Elizabeth) which was on point and why the fish is in not in the picture, so fresh and crispy, couldn’t chance it flopping off the plate, vegetables and rice were perfectly prepared and taste amazing. The wife ordered A la carte, which never disappoints as well. Our waitress was professional, personable, great communicator with great energy, and looking forward to next visit and hope you’re on duty. Consistent atmosphere, food and positive, professional and energetic staff!!!! 19AUG2025: Ordered Takeout. Cannot stay away from Mama Citas. From the moment you walk through the doors, you’re greeted with genuine and professional courtesies; providing a warm, welcoming feel. Then it continues with casual, no rush conversation ensuring the customers feel at home. Angie, thank you for being at work today!! Could not have asked for a better Server/ Bartender, but more than that, truly a great human being!!! The food was decent, not great. Typical Americanized Mexican food. Service was horrible. Our waitress obviously hated her job. We still chose to leave a 20% cash tip on the table. However, we were charged another 20% gratuity on top of that after cashing out. I could call and complain, but it's not worth the couple of dollars. We just won't return. Lesson learned... The food was good but the service was horrible and they weren't even busy. It was around 4:30 during happy hour. This place is just awesome. A total Lake of the Ozarks fun vibe and atmosphere. In a historic building right on the strip close to the damn, it has the old charm with modern fun. The upstairs is the bar and restaurant while the downstairs has the pizza parlor and bar. They often have live music on the weekends with great fun and dancing. The food upstairs is good quality bar food, while downstairs makes the best pizza at the lake. The staff is excellent. Very experienced and friendly; they can handle a crowd. Overall, a fun place to eat, drink and hang with great friends.

Our first experience was outstanding! The food, the atmosphere and especially Donna who was simply outstanding in her service. We loved it so much we came back the next day, and the experience was a 360. Donna wasn't there, and seemed to be quite an annoyance to the ladies there. So we walked out and who knows if they even noticed. When we walked in one of the lady's said " seat yourself where you fit", and never came back.. So, Donna is amazing .. she makes the place amazing.

The venue boasts an industrial modern ambiance, making it ideal for various occasions such as casual outings with loved ones or formal business dinners. Whether you seek well-crafted cocktails, delectable meals paired with fine wines, or a special event location, 1932 Reserve has it all.
We stayed in the penthouse over the Memorial Day weekend. The space was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The kitchen was well-equipped, the beds were comfy, and the view from the balcony was amazing!! The location was perfect and close to everything. We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway! We also had dinner on Sunday night for 22 guests and everything was fantastic! The service was quick and the food was outstanding!

We had a fantastic dinner at 1932 Reserve. It’s a beautiful spot right on the water with boat parking and a great atmosphere—polished, modern, and warm. We started with the truffle deviled eggs and the pretzel bites—though “pretzel bites” doesn’t do them justice. These were golden, perfectly salted pillows with a crisp edge and chewy center, paired with a tangy pimiento cheese dip we couldn’t stop eating. I had the beet salad, which came with fresh heirloom tomatoes—ripe, crisp, and full of flavor. Simple ingredients, beautifully done. The filet mignon was cooked expertly and served over some of the best mashed potatoes I’ve ever tasted—silky, buttery, mouth-watering. The duck confit was a standout. The flavor combinations were imaginative and beautifully balanced—unexpected in the best way. Clearly crafted by someone with real creative vision and mastery, I actually asked our server to send my sincere compliments to the chef. It paired perfectly with the Norton Malbec. Dessert was a surprise highlight. The chef delivered it himself and explained that some of the components were sourced from other local spots: ice cream with butterscotch magic shell, a butterscotch donut from SoMo Donut Co., and a cheesecake cone from a nearby bakery. He mentioned rotating desserts and an upcoming event featuring guest chefs. I love seeing that kind of local collaboration. Creative food, excellent execution, and a strong sense of place. Highly recommend.

We had the most delicious meal at 1932 Reserve tonight. Service was excellent, the flavors were incredible and our drinks were wonderful. We had a great view on the patio and enjoyed the entire experience. We will definitely be back. We loved both of our dishes. The sauce with the grits was so smooth and creamy and offered a fantastic compliment to the shrimp and garlic. My husband's duck had all the rich flavors you could hope for, and the grilled carrots had a deep smokey flavor that I loved. You could tell the chefs took pride in each dish they served. Well done! Favorite meal in the LOTO area so far for me. Great date night option.

Overall we had a very nice experience. The food was good and service was also great. The menu and specials really seemed like they were almost trying just a little too hard though. Too many flavors combined and too much frill... especially given the atmosphere. I'd go back but not soon.
Amanda L — Google review
A little out of our price range but went for a business dinner. Dress was lake casual. Parking spots were a rare commodity and LOTS of steps to get to the seating area. I think they have a UTV to taxi folks up and down but we didnt see it running. I would consider it "fancy" food which isn't my thing. They did have a burger option though and crazy HUGE desserts! Saw lots of people getting smoked bourbon, which was kind of cool. Limited indoor seating, we sat on the covered patio. It was very crowded and loud because there were so many people, but it was a Saturday evening in July. They were able to accommodate our party of 19 with a reservation but we made it a couple months ahead of time. Happy to have had the experience.

JB Hook's is an upscale restaurant located right on the water, offering a diverse menu of steak and seafood dishes along with creative cocktails. The restaurant provides stunning lakefront views, making it a perfect spot for a sunset dining experience. While the menu can be pricey, there are options available for both lunch and dinner. Guests can also request patio seating to fully enjoy the picturesque surroundings. However, some patrons have noted inconsistencies in service and food quality, such as burnt appetizers and weaker alcoholic drinks.
We went there yesterday for lunch and I ordered the cheeseburger and french fries fries. I have zero complaints. The food was hot and seemed extremely high-quality. My wife got a Greek salad and half of a chicken salad sandwich and she was extremely happy. The table that we chose overlook the lake and so it was fun sitting there and watching the boats go back-and-forth. It says upscale dining, but the prices were more in line with an Applebee’s.

We brought my Mom to JB Hooks for her 60th birthday and loved our visit. Our server was a young man and he was extremely patient and accommodating! We at SO much food and were pleased with every item. While everything was delicious, I was pleasantly surprised with how delicious the green beans were. An odd item to stand out amongst their delectable menu but trust me! The ambience and view provided the perfect atmosphere for our celebration and we can’t wait to return.

We were very happy with our visit. We actually had lunch one day on the terrace over looking the water (bridal view!) and then made reservations for the next evening for dinner inside by the windows. There is something on the menu for everyone. Lots of seafood choices, steaks, sandwiches, salads… and a varied drink menu. Service was exceptional. Lunch is very reasonable, dinner is a bit more expensive but worth it. Portion sizes are great. The French onion soup and Philly cheesesteak soup were amazing. They even gave us a complimentary dessert for my husbands birthday. Highly recommend.

Have been coming here every summer for two decades. Best view of the lake from any restaurant in the area. There are two halves to the restaurant: right side is fine dining; left side is bar/lounge and happy hour (no reservations, open seating). We like the happy hour drink specials on well drinks and discounted prices on appetizers. Try the crunchy fingers fish appetizer. Pairs well with an old fashioned and a sunset. There is often live entertainment by the bar. Tip your servers good, they're always hustling.

Overall: the food is freaking incredible and the views are great, but our service was absolutely awful. The worst part is with a party of 8 they charge an automatic 20% gratuity for service on the bill. Had a reservation for 7pm on a Monday night for 8 people. We sat down immediately with a GORGEOUS view of the lake. We got waters in a few minutes and ordered drinks and appetizers. We got our drinks at 7:21pm and our appetizers at 7:27pm and then our server came back to take our food order at 7:31pm. We got the lobster bites and peel and eat shrimp for appetizers and they were pretty delicious. Our waters were empty for quite a while so we had to ask our server if we could get a pitcher or something and we were told that they dont do pitchers. We had one kids meal that came out at 7:42pm. The water guy walked by our table with pitchers of water in his hands a couple times without filling our empty glasses. We got our waters filled at 7:50pm. We got our salads and crackers at 8:01. We only got one basket of crackers for our table of 8. We asked for more crackers and we got two more baskets. We got our entrees and a bread basket at 8:26pm and man everything was unbelievable. The bread and butter was phenomenal. Lobster Pasta 10/10. Blackened Salmon with honey butter 10/10. Grouper Supreme 10/10. We got a brownie ice cream dessert for birthday 8.5/10.

Went for a birthday dinner and had a wonderful time! The herbed cream cheese before dinner was devine and a welcome departure from bread and butter. Diverse wine menu. Spectacular views. Central location. Attentive service. Fresh fish - menus is both traditional and inspired. Look forward to our next visit!

Li'l Rizzo's Restaurant in Lake Ozark is a casual Italian eatery and sports bar that offers a variety of dishes including pizzas, pastas, sandwiches, and dessert calzones. Customers have had positive experiences at the restaurant, with some mentioning the attentive service and great variety of house wines and appetizers available during happy hour. While some visitors noted potential delays in service due to low employment numbers, others appreciated the quick food delivery on busy evenings.
Looking for tasty Italian food near the Lake of the Ozarks? Li'l Rizzo's offers a great variety of options to order: salads, pastas, pizzas, phenomenal desserts, and other delicious entrees. The patio is inviting and has a decent view of the lake! We ordered a variety of items, but we absolutely loved the house salad and the creamy tortellini dish! We sat on the spacious patio, but there is plenty of table and bar top seating inside the restaurant. The service was incredible as well. Don't leave without trying the cheesecake dessert!

The salad was very good but the cannelloni was cold. It was edible but not hot at all. I will say their rolls are the absolute star of the show. Make sure you have some if you go there. We were in a large group, and the server did a good job of keeping everyone happy and getting all the food served. We had fun and the food was decent. I think I was the only one who had something that was not hot. Overall it was a decent experience just not great this time
Dave H — Google review
-Fair & Honest Review- We gave Li’l Rizzo’s a shot after reading some strong reviews - and while it wasn’t a total miss, it didn’t knock our socks off either. Let’s start with the good: Our waitress (Allison) was awesome - friendly, attentive (once she arrived), and made the experience feel personal. The spaghetti was a hit with our kid (8/10 from him, which is basically Michelin-star level for a tween). The pepperoni pizza was decent - about a 7/10 - but apparently good enough that the Mrs. polished it off without hesitation. Now for the rest: The famous rolls? Meh. They weren’t bad, just... not “review hype” good. Room temp instead of fresh and hot, which definitely hurt the experience (we’d give them a 6/10). The shrimp and chicken Fettuccine Alfredo had a nice sauce, but the protein was pretty bland - flavorless shrimp and chicken that seemed like an afterthought. Another 6.5/10 each there. Also worth noting: the climate game is strong here - either sweat outside or freeze inside. Dress accordingly. All in all, Li’l Rizzo’s wasn’t a disaster, but we probably wouldn’t rush back. Solid for a casual bite, especially if you keep your expectations in check.

Here’s a polished version of your restaurant review that sounds natural and well-written: --- Review: The atmosphere was inviting and nicely done, with a warm, comfortable feel throughout the restaurant. Service was decent — nothing exceptional, but friendly enough. The food, however, truly stood out. The arancini were perfectly crisp and flavorful, while both the baked mostaccioli and cannelloni were excellent — rich, well-seasoned, and cooked just right. Overall, a great dining experience. I’d definitely come back

Food was excellent. The outdoor view was gorgeous. The service was fast and efficient.

Ate here for the first time with 3 others. The food was absolutely amazing. The service was great, very friendly. The outside seating is so nice with a view of the lake. Although we didn't eat inside the inside is very nice and a warm feeling. Recommend getting on the waitlist. Its a very busy place, but worth the wait. Highly recommended. The Cajun shrimp was was fantastic.

Li'l Rizzo's never disappoints. Very good Italian restaurant with expansive menu. View of the lake from their dining room and outdoor patio. Entrees and pasta are very good. Pizza today was excellent.
Rob L — Google review
This experience was incredibly disappointing. We felt completely unwelcome from the moment we arrived, as the waiter seemed indifferent and unmotivated to serve us. Her dismissive attitude made us feel as though we were a burden, which significantly affected our overall experience. The service was extremely poor, with long waits and a lack of attentiveness that left us frustrated and dissatisfied. Trust me the food wasn't good!

We had a wonderful experience here. Hannah did an amazing job at servicing us. The place is beautiful and very clean. Best part... the food. I fell in love with the bourbon pecan coffee at the coffee bar. The beignets with raspberry sauce is very delicious.

Omg I can’t say enough about this place!!! We all LOVED it!!! Our server, Hannah, was incredible. Period. She went above and beyond and knew our every need before we did! The food- wow. Just WOW. I will always, always eat here and send people your way, when in the area. As someone who spent almost 20 years in the service industry- please believe me when I tell you, this spot has it ALL. 10/10 will recommend to all the friends. Thanks for making our girls bday so special Hannah. We just LOVE YOU!!!! 😍

Food was incredible! Split the beignets (6- they are HUGE! 🤩) - the yeasted waffle and the bistro breakfast. Best potatoes ever and the caramelized onions on them were so good! I don’t typically get onions on anything so I was wonderfully surprised at how much flavor they added! Everything was 10/10. Staff was amazing and SO good to us! Definitely recommend and will be back. 🎉

My wife and I got the opportunity to try this place over the weekend and was absolutly incredible!! I only wish we had this gem in Kansas City.. The entire staff made us feel like home and beautifully decorated on the inside! and out. We will be back again and again when at the lake. and would recommend if you haven't tried On The Rise to give it a try! Wait till you try the eggs benedict!!!!😀 Thank you staff!!!

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful breakfast of Eggs Benedict today at our favorite spot—On the Rise Bistro at the Lake of the Ozarks—and once again, it did not disappoint! Our lattes were creamy and delicious, the food was fresh and perfectly prepared, and the atmosphere was as inviting as ever. A special shoutout to Hannah, our server, who was incredibly kind and attentive—she made the experience even better. If you’re visiting the Lake, I highly recommend stopping in for breakfast or lunch. This place continues to be one of our go-to favorites for a reason!
Christy S — Google review
Absolutely loved eating at this place! Cheryl (the owner) was greeting customers as they walked in and she was very friendly to us and everyone we were with. The service was great, we got the beignets and they were delicious, just like the ones we had in New Orleans! I got a house latte coffee and the bananas foster French toast, meal was on point and so was the service. Cheryl came and checked on us while we were eating as well! This place runs very smoothly and the bakery has the best dessert and to-go treats to take with you! I’ll always try making time to eat here while at the lake!

Shorty Pants Lakeside Cajun Restaurant & Marina is a waterfront spot offering a casual Cajun and bar-food menu, live music, and ample outdoor seating. It's known for its New Orleans-inspired cuisine with dishes like Jambalaya, fried oysters, peel-and-eat shrimp, and po'boys. The establishment also features an outside tiki bar for drinks and lively entertainment.
In-credible! Let’s start with our arrival (cuz it was funny)… we mapped the route with google maps and were on our motorcycles. Sadly we were sent through a short, but deep stretch of gravel right before the backside of the parking lot. Oh well. Speaking of the parking lot… it’s snug. We watched multiple pickup trucks “destroy” the marked spots. They didn’t even try to park in their spot. It’s a struggle to get anything in and out so we were lucky to be on our bikes. Anyway… our waitress was sweet as can be and couldn’t have been more helpful. She’d come by and chat, kept our dishes cleaned and our drinks full. We sat on the deck, next to the water. The weather was perfect and the view was great. Our waitress recommended my buddy get the fish tacos instead of the fish and chips and he was blown away. I opted for a half order of the Cajun fries and the gulf shrimp appetizer. Unreal. So damn good. You gotta stop by if you want excellent seafood! It’s kind of out of the way (maybe more convenient if you’re on the water?) but it’s well worth it!!
Aaron ( — Google review
Excellent food, great, quick service, nice dockside outdoor seating. Outdoor seating was near capacity, indoor dining room was empty the evening we were there. Restaurant level parking is limited, additional parking is a bit of a steep climb after, but worth the effort.

I recommend the shrimp and Crawfish Etoufee, The fried green tomatoes I don't think were fresh maybe frozen as the coating was subpar. But the rest of the food was amazing. The waiter was great, attentive, customer service oriented. The outside seating was amazing. One of the best outside seating on the water restaurants I've ever been to. I strongly suggest coming here if you've never been as the ambiance is perfect. The food plating was great as well.

First time to this restaurant and it did not disappoint. I was able to sit outside and look over the lake while I enjoyed my meal. The server was great, very friendly and attentive. I had the Smothered Catfish with a side of Gumbo and the flavors were incredible. I ended the meal with fresh beignets which were served with a homemade raspberry sauce, so good! Would definitely return for another meal.

What an amazing meal! Service was great and friendly and the food was authentic Cajun. I had the shrimp and grits tacos with the loaded fries because of the jalapeño lime sauce and it was so good. It's hard to find shrimp that delicious this far inland and they really nailed every dish that we got. Getting in on a boat is a little tight but they have awesome dock attendants to help if you're a newbie. Do yourself a favor and stop in to eat here!
Sarah D — Google review
Cajun food in the Ozarks! Everything was great. The Fried Green Tomatoes were amazing. Ok, the cornbread was excellent. We ordered a couple to go for my leftovers. The serving sizes are very generous. If you leave hungry, it's your fault We never felt rushed, and we didn't feel any discrimination for our brown skin. The pineapple mojito was tasty and way better than the one I had at that Mamacita restaurant the evening before. Each dish was full of flavor. Well done!!! We will be back.

Stewart's Restaurant is a popular eatery known for its basic American breakfast and lunch options like sandwiches and salads. It's a great spot for brunch with a wide variety of menu items to please everyone, including picky kids. The restaurant is recommended by many for its huge portions and consistent, delicious food. While it may be busy, the wait is worth it as the place offers a typical diner atmosphere with excellent service.
Food was southern-styled and hit the spot - as close to southeastern style food as you can get in the Midwest. All four of us got something different and we all loved the choices. Our waitress was attentive and so sweet! :) This was the best place we ate at LOTO when you factor in price and quality of food.

Very nice diner. The "diet plate" was massive with biscuit and gravy, 2 eggs, 2 sausage, 2 bacon, cheddar cheese and fried potatoes. All very yummy. Side of grits nothing special, nothing in them besides plain grits if that's what you're wanting. The mega cinnamon roll is enormous and very very sweet, wish they'd allowed a half order cause this is about 6 rolls worth and after the meal only had a bite of it. Coffee was good and service fast and friendly.

Very good experience in Lake Ozark area. We went for a late lunch on Saturday and it was somewhat busy. The service was super fast and very kind. We ordered a big pork sandwich they had and a burger. Both were massive sizes and at a very good price. Very good quality as well. They had pepsi fountain soda ! Would go back if in the area again!

Looked for a different place to go for lunch today as our visit at the Lake is coming to an end. This place came up and seeing that their cinnamon rolls and French toast were amazing that's all I needed to see. Lol I ordered the Denver omelette since its been awhile and I feel how I would describe this would be "an omelette is just an omelette" the ham was savory not salty or bland. As we were waiting to get seated chatted with a couple and mentioned the pork tenderloin how good that was. The boyfriend got the tenderloin breakfast which came with their known saugage gravy. Another happy diner.

We have been coming to Back Water Jacks for since our kids were young and now with our grandkids. With my parents, kids, grandkids and great grandson, we have been to the restaurant with all five generations! Although not all at the same time. We always go on Thursday for the wings, shrimp and crab Rangoon. We love the food, music and people watching. Our great grandson enjoys going so he can feed the fish, ducks, and turtles. We use to come by water, but now we go by land. Thank you for the delicious food, drinks, great service and memories Back Water Jacks!

Food was good and service was excellent, but they were out of Jalapeño Poppers due to a supplier issue. Fried Potato salad was good, different. Blackened Grouper was very good but we liked the Stuffed Mushrooms the most!!! I liked the Cucumber Lemonade too!! I would consider coming back again for the sunset view, if nothing else. Loved the patio/deck - perfect on a cool September night!

Fun place to stop during the day. Don’t make it a date night. Wanted to get dinner but after the app we decided to go elsewhere. Looked at the pasta but served on a plate . $15 shrimp cocktail was lacking. Don’t get me wrong, great place to stop by for pool and food but not for us. Everyone having a good time with love music, just wrong timing for us to think of a date night for 2.

Love this place! Located right on the bay. Very lively w a large bar area and lots of indoor seating and even more outdoor seating. The food was excellent. I had the HUGE Crab rangoons and a Humongous Cobb Salad. Hubby had a BLT that had lots of bacon on it. Service was excellent for such a busy place. Our waiter, Dustin did a terrific job. Atmosphere was noisy and lively. No real dress code. There were ppl in swim suits and cover ups. The multiple outdoor areas have a stage for bands and tables w umbrellas, also a very large adult wading/swimming pool w swim up tables for the bar.

Amazing breakfast! If you order pancakes, you better have an appetite! The short stack is 2 pancakes larger than your face! See photo compared with husband’s hand. He’s a hearty eater and tapped out! The full stack is 4 of these large pancakes. They are light and fluffy and have the perfect flavor. I ordered the vegetable quiche, which was very tasty and filling and their hashbrowns……no words can describe how tasty! They have a sour cream and chive and cheesiness to them. You must try!

They had outdoor seating near the swimming pool for the inn. The view was spectacular. Kenzie was an excellent server. She was knowledgeable about the daily special and helped guide us to the perfect bottle of wine. We enjoyed a meat and cheese board. Those marinated olives were wonderful.

We ate at the restaurant and sat on the deck overlooking the lake. The food, drinks, and view were good, but that cannot make up for the awful service. We came around noon on a Friday and waited about 40 minutes for our food which was cold when it came out. We never got the opportunity to order a second drink, and our check took forever. The restaurant was not that busy and multiple tables around us went inside to ask for water or drinks because the service was so bad outside. Another table next to us sat for 30 minutes before leaving because the waitress never even came to their table. We will not be returning and will recommend our family and friends avoid this establishment on their visits. I generally consider myself a patient person and we were not in a hurry, but this slow of service is just unacceptable.

My friends and I traveled to the Lake of the Ozarks as a meeting point since we don't see each other very often. We stopped in Saturday evening after a long day of hiking along the lake and sight seeing, and we were so happy with our service and food. The view outside was amazing, but it was just a bit chilly, so we headed inside. The atmosphere inside is very cozy and cute, and our waitress was super sweet and very quick with her service! Our food came out quickly and we all had the perfect glasses of wine. If you're traveling in the call, I HIGHLY recommend the whiskey apple cider! Our waitress told me she had just made it and it's fantastic, and she was so right. We will be back! :)

REALLY good food here. The portion sizes are huge so be sure to bring your appetite! My kiddo got a kid pub burger and it looked like a regular adult size portion. When we entered, we weren’t sure if we were supposed to seat ourselves or wait to be seated, but after waiting for a bit we sat ourselves at the first booth we saw. After a few minutes someone came to take our drink orders. We did wait a good bit to get our check, but not a big deal as we weren’t in a hurry. The food had great flavor and the salad was fresh. We will definitely be back. Also it’s 21 and over after 8pm just fyi!

Loud after 8 normally with live music. Their 20oz streak deal is AMAZING & worth EVERY PENNY!!! I have yet to be disappointed & that speaks Volumes. Female staff is great. The guys are hit or miss on service quality. They also change out so much it's hard to tell who is your waiter/ess. Everything else food wise tried is Phenomenal as well. Can't say enough great things about that part. Try to eat here every time we're in town.

Located at Margaritaville Lake Resort, formerly known as Tan-Tar-A, LandShark Bar & Grill is a popular spot for families and boaters alike. The relaxed atmosphere and diverse menu make it a top choice for visitors. Guests can enjoy refreshing drinks at the outdoor bar while taking in the breathtaking views of the lake. The generous portions and friendly staff add to the overall appeal of this dining destination.
Did lunch pre-season and the restaurant was nearly empty but the food was fresh and well prepared. Had the shrimp po' boy and would 10/10 recommend. Side salad was a good size. The loaded chips were a little difficult to eat as an appetizer, but would make a good meal with a fork for someone who is indulging on vacation. Service was friendly. We are on the patio and the wind was brisk but the view was great.

It was a beautiful spring afternoon so we decided to go somewhere where we could have lunch with the Lakeside view. We were not disappointed with the view and the food. I tried to fish and chips and my wife got the jerk chicken wrap. Well the food is a little pricey you are served a plentiful portion. I think the view and atmosphere are well. I like the fact that you got four smaller size pieces of the red fish. When you get the typical larger sizes they sometimes tend to fall apart and make it harder to eat. My wife loved her jerk chicken and actually brought home half of it since it was so large. It also appears that the pools are open to the public so this is a great place to spend an afternoon eating good food and laying out by the pool.
Rolando O — Google review
Busy place but if you're willing to sit outside there are several more tables on the wrap around patio. Service wasn't the fastest but they were pretty busy, so I'll give them a pass, lol. Drink refills were steady, food quality and portions were decent but the prices were a bit high but that's to be expected due to the location. The view from the deck is gorgeous so all in all it was worth the extra cost. Calling ahead to check how busy they are is highly recommended.

Friendly service, great set-up on the lake within Margaritaville resort. Kids options, adult drink choices and very tasty options. Shrimp appetizer was slightly hit for me but went well with Kona beer.

Our Waiter was Great! He greeted us with a friendly laid-back how are you today? Asked if we were celebrating anything. We said Mothers Day! He wished my wife Happy Mothers Day! He took our drink order and app order. He asked if we were visiting or live local. He said he has lived at lake his whole life and loves it! He had a Great Arkansas accent! He said his Dad is from Arkansas. We sat outside in shade overlooking the resort pool and docks around 5 pm. Everything was great!

Off season, which I love, sept 27, not very busy at all. Very sunny for September on the deck. We were only the 3rd table to be seated, the bartender decided to be our waiter for some reason. Our food was good, I got fish tacos, they were spicy, however I did not get to enjoy them, or even finish them, because our waiter never came back, not even once. We even had to go in to get our checks, no apologies at all. So for this reason, I would not recommend, to many other nice restaurants!!!

Gorgeous view, good food and lovely service! There is a swim up bar that was available and looked nice! The only downside was the lack of shade outside - the umbrellas didn’t cover everyone at our table.

JB's Boathouse offers a delightful breakfast buffet with a fresh and tasty selection that isn't overwhelming. The mimosa and bloody mary bar adds to the experience, complemented by a nice view from inside. The staff is professional and the dining area is clean, making it suitable for families. Additionally, golf carts are available for transportation to and from the parking lot. While it can get busy at times, the cozy atmosphere with a great lake view makes it worth visiting for a pleasant dining experience.
We heard a lot of bad things about the breakfast buffet, but we really enjoyed it! The staff is super friendly!!! Our server Jenny H. was awesome, and refilled our drinks many times. Tons of options for breakfast, and my fiancé really enjoyed the omelet bar. We might have to come stay here again just to eat the breakfast! :)

Upon arrival the place was empty and there was someone standing at the check in desk who didn’t acknowledge us at all. A simple “someone will be right with you” would have felt more welcoming. As a party of 3 we stood there for a few minutes until someone came over from the dining area with a friendly greeting. The place was clean, shrimp tacos and crab cakes were delish, and the view was nice. The mango margarita was a little syrupy for my taste, if you like extra sweet stuff you’d love it.

Nice menu with reasonable prices and tasty treats. I have the pork tenderloin sandwich and it was a huge tenderloin, I asked for extra mayonnaise because they did not put enough on the burger and it made all the difference.

Please go somewhere else. Service was nice but food is trash and expensive… eggs were burn and cold jo flavor. Potatoes no flavors and soft no cook enough. Bacon i think they make it in the microwave no crunchy or good taste like fake. Seriously sooo bad!

Breakfast buffet was fine. Omelet and waffle station, fresh fruit, cereals and breads, potatoes, eggs, bacon and sausage. Dri ks included for about $20.00. Not too bad for an on resort restaurant. Very clean and kind, attentive staff.

Overall good experience. The food, service, and atmosphere were good. The place was clean and well kept. The service was prompt and he cleaned up our dishes quickly. Overall the food was good except the chicken enchilada soup was thick like chili.

The breakfast buffet was very good. Everything was fresh the food was very tasty. There was just the right amount of selections. Sometimes it can be overwhelming in the morning if you get a buffet that has to much. They also has a mimosa and bloody mary bar. The view from inside was nice. Staff was very nice and professional. The eating area was very clean. I was pleased. It was good for kids as well. Best part is that my server's name was... drumroll... SHELBIE! It was meant to be!

Taco Tuesday's are awesome. 1 dollars tacos soft or hard shell. They offer chicken, ground beef, shredded beef, and chicken.
Samuel F — Google review
My family and friends have been going there for quite awhile. I would recommend it to my family and friends. No more!! Now you must order three tacos per adult on taco Tuesdays. I never have ordered three tacos nor has my friend. As we can't eat that much. So if you don't order three you get charged for chips and dip. We will take our business else where that will be appreciated. Right now I don't feel that they deserve even one star, as it seemed we were being watched . To the response of the owner. That is not true. We had ordered pitchers of margaritas, ice tea and your stuffed jalapeños peppers. Never in my life have I or my family and friends been called freeloaders. Poor management most definitely.

Decent Mexican food for the area. Salsa was the best thing, however, and I don't Recommend the Chicken & Rice. The Chicken Quesadilla was edible. Still far from any good Mexican Restaurant that I've been to. The waiter was Very good and we never ran out of anything! The only reason for the rating was the service!
Trisha M — Google review
The staff was friendly and we were greeted right away, and seated quickly. We had a party of 7 (6.5 really) and they could accommodate us with no problem. Our food came out a lot faster than I expected and it was DELICIOUS! I wasn't anticipating loving this place so much as a first time visitor, but I will definitely be back.

This is just a fun family place that we’ve been going to for years. In fact, our waitress from over 15 years ago remembered our family when we came back this spring. The prices are great. Tuesday’s are fun for cheap tacos. We bought the salsa to take back home. We love Mexican and there are only about 2 places we consistently go to. This is one of them. Great service.
Emily J — Google review
The worst meal I think I've ever had! Terrible service. Since moving to the lake, I actually thought they were either open only seasonally or closed down all together as there were never any cars there. Now I know why. I ordered the seafood enchilada and recieved 2 flour tortillas stuffed with cold chunks of shrimp and fake crab meat, no seasoning at all just cold meat, not ever a sauce! I took one bite and pushed it away. The server eventually can by, took the plate and brought the full price ticket. Yes, I paid full price for a single bite of cold, raw food. My husband ordered something different yet equally awful but choked it down on principle.

The staff is personable, and the portion sizes are generous, ensuring a great overall experience for diners.
Let me start off by saying Debi is one of the best servers we've ever had. She is well versed in the menu, wine list, and ingredients in all plates due to my wifes dietary restrictions. She even answered any questions we had about margaritaville, from activities to do onsite while we were here on vacation. Anytime we come back, we will ask for her by name. We really appreciate the time she took to explain how and what ingredients were in each dish to ensure my wife would not have issues. The food was amazing to top it off. Thanks for an amazing experience, we will recommend everybody to try windrose 26! Ask for Debi if you want 5 star service.

Dined with a group of 8 on a Saturday night. Reservations are not required, but recommended. After a friend recommended this spot, I made the reservation when they opened and we were lucky there was enough availability to accommodate our group, especially when 2 more people joined our original reservation of 6. Windrose Marker offers the finer side of dining at the Margaritaville Resort- offering two different types of artisanal breads before the main course, various steak and seafood and freshwater options, and a full wine menu. After dinner, each woman at the table was treated with a yellow rose- a classy touch to end the evening. The view of the lake is tops. I ordered the steak and frites, medium rare. I tried a few bites of the ribeye and regretted not ordering that. The steak and frites were delicious, but the ribeye is definitely the superior choice. Was also impressed with their fries and especially the carrots. I also tried a bite of the lobster macaroni and cheese. It was tasty and the lobster flavor was light, not overpowering in the slightest. Sally took care of our large group in early July 2025, she was kind and helpful when making suggestions on what to order.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary at Windrose Marker 26, and it couldn’t have been a more perfect choice! We checked into the hotel in the afternoon, and we were able to make reservations for that same evening. We were seated immediately upon arrival, and we also very excited to be seated on the patio with the lake view. The setting was beautiful and relaxing, and our server, Debi, made the night extra special. She was warm, attentive, and truly went above and beyond to make us feel celebrated. We kicked things off with a couple of cocktails, and they were fantastic. The warm bread that came out first was so good. For dinner, my husband was obsessed with the lobster mac and cheese. I had the salmon, which was cooked to perfection and full of flavor. From the food to the service, everything exceeded our expectations. Huge thanks to Debi and the team for helping make our anniversary dinner one to remember. We’ll definitely be back!

I have to say this is by far the best restaurant my husband and I have ever been to. My husband had the ribeye and it was so tender and juicy that he didn't even have to use his knife to cut it. I had the Lobster Mac and cheese and I have had this dish at several different places over the years and this is hands down the most delicious I've ever eaten! The service was excellent and Mackenzie was the most fabulous waitress ever!
Cynthia D — Google review
Our server, Debi, was outstanding at providing us with all we needed during the meal. She was nice, and open to helping us with different things. The food was out of this world good, the fries were amazing, the short rib tacos were melt in your mouth, and the steak was better than any other. We were brought a variety of butters and bread and constant filled drinks. Dessert was soooooo good. Amazing 11/10

This was my first and last time going to this restaurant. My girlfriends and I were celebrating a birthday. There were 14 of us. They gave us one waitress. It took more than an hour and a half to receive bread at our table. We were told that it was common to wait this long for our meals. One of our friends had found a long piece of hair in her food. We informed the waitress. The manager came and started that no one in the kitchen didn’t have black hair. She never apologized for incident. She accused of of putting the hair in the meal to avoid having to pay for our meals We were angry that she would think that. She began raising her voice to another person in our party. She told we needed to pay for meals and get out. She also threatened to have us thrown out of our hotel. The manager was very unprofessional and didn’t know how to mediate the problem. Please retrain your managers in customer service and respect!

I was at Margaritaville last weekend with my family. We met there because it is a central point for all of us in Missouri. This is the second year we had dinner at Windrose. It wasn’t great the first time, but we decided to give it another try. I secured reservations for 6:45pm for 8 people. My sister in law is in a wheelchair because she is battling terminal cancer. We had to sit outside, which was lovely. We ordered appetizers and our dinner. The appetizers came out in a reasonable time, but dinner was not served for over an hour. My sister in law had to leave before she could eat because she didn’t have the energy to keep waiting. The server never provided an explanation about the delay. There wasn’t an apology. She just dumped the food on our table and left. The food was okay, but didn’t match the cost or the wait. We probably won’t go there again when we visit next year.

We intended to stop in just for tea, but we were hungry, so we ordered lunch as well. The soups change daily and the cheesy broccoli and rice soup was delicious. A lovely spot for lunch! We have been here multiple times and am always blown away by how fresh and tasty the food is. Definitely recommend the "Go Nuts" salad - mixed greens topped with sunflower seeds and fresh veg like mushroom, sweet peas, tomatoes, cucumber. And the poppy seed dressing is amazing! I've enjoyed their quiche of the day, like todays: broccoli cheddar. You can't go wrong here!

I fell in love with this place the moment the owner greeted us the door. Just incredibly sweet and bending over backwards to make us feel welcomed even though we arrived 15 minutes to closing time. This is a true hidden gem! Today was my first time here. It was really busy but we were seated right away. The menu is much bigger than I was expecting for such a small place. I ordered a hot blueberry tea to start and it was very flavorful! For lunch my husband ordered the Sampler (soup, salad & 1/2 sandwich) Osage Turkey sandwich and chicken dumpling soup. I ordered the Sampler Great White Tuna melt and stuffed green pepper soup. The portions are perfect, the food is unique and delicious. My husband doesn’t typically “rave” about places but this one caught him off guard. He said “we need to come here more often for lunch”! If you’re looking for a quaint, unique place to enjoy quality ingredients, this is the place for you!!

Stopped here because the hurricane advertised looked amazing. It was good ... Has about every alcohol under the sun in it, but it needs a little something else to cut that. Kind of a fun place to grab a bite to eat in the Lake of the Ozarks area. The flavor of the food was fantastic but they need to do a better job of actually cooking their food. My tenderloin was a bit under done for my liking. Bright pink pork is not my thing. The same goes for my wife's burger, it was barely cooked to medium. What did get eaten had incredible flavor but serving it under cooked was a real damper for my wife & I

Haven’t been to the Lake in 10 years. Came here and had an amazing experience. The waitress we had on 7/9 at around 1:30pm, she was blonde (wish I would’ve grabbed her name) and she was so kind and just an expert at what she does. She gave my family a memorable experience and I’m grateful. The food was exactly what we were wanting, it was quick and correct (which was impressive considering my kids picky requests) and had it’s own delicious flair. We will absolutely be back & be recommending this establishment to family friends and associates. Thanks again!

Gourmet food in a relaxed, lakefront atmosphere. This is definitely not your typical fried food heavy menu that you typically see at lake restaurants. You can tell the chef takes pride in the menu. That taco salad was exactly what I needed today. Great service, great business, spectacular location. Edit/update I've been back like 4 times now and its been magnificent every time. Today the bartender made me a delightful espresso martini, and our server Mason was very helpful and friendly, even gave us a few recommendations in the area.

Family was craving some good Mexican food! The service was great. I get it we have 3 small children. However, the wait was a long time to get anyone to notice us and after we got our food then the server only checked once when we were almost done and then waiting for the check and to ask for a togo box took 10-15 minute. LONG TIME WITH SMALL CHILDREN. We went at a slow time so there were only 2 other tables throughout all levels of the restaurant. Bathrooms were clean and the view outside was great! Maybe going to eat on a Sunday afternoon at 4 was not a good time for the staff?! Either way, food was great! Drinks were yummy and could taste the liquor.

We went on a Sunday. Wasn't very busy. They seated us took 20 minutes to take our order. Once the ball got rolling, it tasted good. Guacamole was amazing. Margaritas great. Taco plater was great. We shared it with 4 people. Really cool atmosphere. A tad expensive for what it is but it is a tourist area.

All I can say is wow! I first came here a few years ago and had a very negative experience. Poor service and subpar food almost made me not want to return. However, I’m so glad I gave it another chance. They’ve really turned things around with a great new menu and excellent service. We got the Birria Neon Tacos, Neon Crunchy Wrap, and two Neon Burritos. Our server was fantastic, and all of the food was fairly priced and delicious. I was pleasantly surprised by how good their espresso martini was too! I’ll be back whenever I’m at the Ozarks!

Walked in for lunch and walked down to the outside seating. Sat ourselves because thats what we've done in the past. The server told us if we seat ourselves we cant order food, only drinks. So we got up with our kids, walked back up the stairs around to the front and got seated at the exact same table. Then she refused to serve us and we had another server. So strange. The food was good and atmosphere was perfect. Our kids loved it. Thanks to our new server who took over and took care of us.

Food was ok. A little on the pricey side for some items. The staff was friendly. Loved the covered outdoor setting. Our view was the lake. Our drinks were worth it!!

It took awhile for our group to be tended to and they didn’t seem super busy at the time, but the server was very friendly. Food was great I had street tacos and would recommend. The live music was great and they even had a free mechanical bull upstairs along with the glambot machine! This was during Ozark bike fest and my bachelorette trip!

Casagrotto Pizza is a casual hangout that offers a variety of traditional and customizable pizzas. Located below the Casablanca Restaurant, it has both indoor and outdoor seating options, with stairs connecting the two venues. The small yet lively space features several TVs for sports watching and a full bar. Customers can enjoy watching their pizza and salad being prepared right in front of them. The pizza toppings are rich and delicious, while the salads are consistently impressive.
Ordered the Jordanmeister. Wow! So much meat! Thin crust had just the right amount of crisp. Excellent pizza.

Pizza was good. Probably didn't need extra cheese. My wife said "I've had better". I am not a Pizza fan so I will defer. Typical sports bar atmosphere (a bit noisy for me). Lots of TV options.

Basement area facility has early closing hours. Casagratto entrance from the upstairs dining bar area is open and not labeled with hours of service. Entered and customers at all tables and bar and employees working making food and drinks before closing time. Refused service by one rude server, her name starts with a G. Then helped by very kind helpful server, her names starts with a D, by ordering upstairs instead of downstairs. I spent couple days telling my house guests the food is great before arriving. We made sure the manager and owner knows about the rude server downstairs with name G because a second table of 8 or 10 customers upstairs eating pizza had the exact same rude server stories about 10 minutes earlier and they shared when they overheard our telling the staff.

The pizza was fantastic! We chose a supreme and a house salad. I’ll be getting pizza here next time for sure. The only part that was not great was that this place was jam packed, nowhere to sit, and the music was overly loud. We were going to eat there but couldn’t so took it to go.

Pepperoni pizza had several layers of pepperoni underneath the cheese, was extremely salty and barely edible. Waitress didn't seem to care that we barely ate it. The Italian salad was loaded with vinegar and also not enjoyable.

Alley Cats Pizzeria is a funky and rustic watering hole that offers classic pies, wings, and domestic beer with outdoor seating. The nostalgic environment gives off an old-school Pizza Hut vibe, making it a unique dining experience. Customers have enjoyed a variety of delicious items such as supreme pizza, smash burger, mozzarella sticks, fries, Italian Stallion sandwich, Bink pizza, and barbecue chicken pizza.
Absolutely delicious. I’ve been here a few times while on vacation and every time I’ve eaten I’ve had something good. We had the chicken slider appetizer this time and I got a cup of ranch, and it was so good we kept trying to plan our days around going back to get more sliders. If you guys had chicken bacon ranch sliders on the menu I bet they’d sell like crazy! Your sliders were crazy good!
Lydia R — Google review
Alley Cat's claims to be a pizzeria, but it is in fact a sports bar. We ordered a margarita pizza, a bacon-chicken-ranch pizza, and a cheese pizza. The red sauce is thin to the point of being soupy, and the crusts are cracker-thin. I actually like thin crust, so that was fine, but the sauce was just bland, while the toppings on the chicken and cheese pizzas were too salty, with little other seasoning. We were there with our 9 year-old, and if we'd realized it was a sports bar, we would have chosen someplace else. The service was fine, but distracted. We went for lunch, so it was quiet, but I get the feeling if you want a place to shout at big TVs on game night, this is the place. If you want pizza, however, go on Tuesday when it's half price, or pick someplace that actually specializes in pizza.

We were passing through Lake of the Ozarks for the first time and decided to stop here for lunch. We were greeted immediately and we were told we could sit where ever we wanted. The food was pretty good and came out very quickly. Our server was very nice and made sure we were happy. This bar and restaurant was pretty interesting and we will come here again when we are in town. Thank you for the good food and service!

We did not eat. We were there for Wednesday night trivia. We had good service for our drinks. The menu items looked reasonably priced compared to lake prices. Trivia was fun. We'll definitely be back. The bar area is indoor outdoor which is nice.

Our food was cooked fresh and came hot. The cheese sticks tasted like they came from a box. The chicken club and western BBQ burger were bland. Our server disappeared and never came back after we ordered our food. We had to beg to pay for our food so that we could leave. We did visit during the Jeep Invasion and it was crazy busy! However, it was not worth $90.00!

The Malted Monkey is a delightful dining spot that combines delicious food with an exciting atmosphere. Nestled in Lake Ozark, this eatery offers a unique experience where families can enjoy mouthwatering smash burgers and hand-spun milkshakes while watching kids navigate the thrilling multi-level rope course above. The ambiance has a nostalgic ice cream parlor vibe, making it perfect for all ages.
An ice cream shake with alcohol? Yes please! A wonderful surprise find. Kids and I wanted ice cream. I didn’t know they also had an adult version. Yum! Presentation was beautiful and the owner was very nice and chatty. Kids and I asked for glasses to take home so we can remember this place at home. I wish they would franchise it.

We are so happy that we found this place. It has a little bit of an old fashioned ice cream parlor feel. The food was amazing the shakes were delicious. I recommend the Carmalized Bananas Foster. The place is like new clean. The best part of the visit was the service that David J provided us. When you have great service, everything taste even better. We will definitely encourage others to check this place out during your visit to the Ozarks!

This was an amazing experience for our 7 year old daughter. She did the rope course and absolutely loved it! We counted her on the zip line at least 5 times. The malts (s'more and chocolate) and chocolate cream were delicious too. Great service! Wish I had grabbed our servers name - she did a great job! Very kind and personable.

Every thing we ordered was so good. Bacon jalapeño grill cheese, double smash burger and the hotdog. We all loved what we got. We also enjoyed a few of their cocktails that were really good too. The ladies behind the counter were very nice and attentive. We would definitely go back next time we are in the area.

What a cool place! Had the breaded cauliflower and pretzels for apps. Both good. Beer was pretty cold...about $5 a piece when you get a bucket. Kids can play on the obstacle course for as long as they want when you buy a ticket. They have chalk for kids to draw on the concrete, which is a nice little touch.

Beautiful restaurant. Nice view. Staff was nice. Good clam chowder. Decent salad. But both entrees were nearly inedible. We choked them down because felt guilty wasting 40ish bucks. Maybe just too high brow taste for us, but regret wasting calories and money here. Won't return.

We have only praise for Ruthie D's. We went on a Saturday evening. We were immediately greeted and led to seats. Wonderful wait staff, Laura, was always attentive without being interruptive. The food, oh my, absolutely delicious!!!! I had the chicken piccata, made perfect, the best made I have had, the flavors complimenting each just right. My husband had the catfish and was most pleased with that dish.

Fantastic! From the food to the wait staff, bus boy and host...the meal was delish...top notch in our books! I am extremely picky about the food I eat. The selection, presentation and taste was extremely gratifying. We will be back! Thanks to all of you Ruthie D's.

The fish was horrible and the wild rice was stuck together like glue. When we mentioned it to the waitress, she tried to tell us that wild rice was always cooked like that! The steak was good and very tender so half of the dinner was fine. Usually this is a great place to eat but the dinner tonight was very unsatisfactory. Maybe there was a new cook or something. Also the service tonight was very slow.

The front desk at our hotel recommended this place, and we're glad they did. The lobster mac & cheese and chicken liver appetizers were fantastic. We had steaks that were cooked as ordered and delicious. The prices for entree and sides are broken down individually on the bill, but they all add up correctly so don't worry about that. Not bad at all. The servers make the place enjoyable. The food is alright. Seems like prices should be lower to accommodate the 3 star food. Onion rings were spot on! Croutons are gross.....deep fried pieces of bread with no flavor but the fryer oil. Fried potatoes with onions are a joke. I thought I was being pranked. Steak was perfectly cooked. The bread service is funny. Seems like wonder bread thrown in a basket. Place is o.k. for maybe a first date to wow with the fancy and high prices but definitely not a weekly or monthly return spot. Needs help. Please.

Excellenct food and service, especially upstairs. As little pricey, but it IS a steakhouse after all. Downstairs in the lounge, the people were wonderful (Came for New Years Eve), entertainment was excellent (great songs and not so loud you couldn't visit with your friends), however, one waitress was a bit ditzy, albeit nice. Also, chocolate martini wasn't what i expected. Usually it's creamy. This wasn't and not very good. Lemon Drop was good though.

I don’t typically write reviews but this one is beyond well deserved! Last night me and my love decided to go for a late dinner. Online it said J. Bruners was open until 10 but when we arrived at 9:30 and asked if we could still grab a bite, the hostess stated she would have to check as they are only open until 10 on weekends and some Holidays. The Chef came out to greet us and said we were more than welcome to stay and escorted us upstairs to the dining room. This was our first Valentines Day together and we could not have had a more perfect experience! Granted it was late but we had the entire dining room to ourselves which made our experience sweet, quiet/private and extremely romantic. Our server Anji was AMAZING! She was SO sweet to us, funny, attentive and made sure we never felt rushed, were able to order any and everything we wanted and always made sure we had a full drink which was a hugely pleasant surprise given how late we arrived. Additonally, as if the service alone wasn’t outstanding, each dish we ordered was cooked to absolute perfection. I had been here before but it was my sweetheart’s first time and I can honestly say that they gave us the ultimate VIP treatment! When the quality at closing superceeds the quality during peak hours, the price tag is a non issue. There is no possible way I could say enough good things about our trip here! Thank you all so so much for making our evening that much more special and for rolling out the red carpet for us... we will definitely be back!

Our favorite restaurant at The Lake! Have been dining here over 30 years and each time we visit we are still impressed with the service, friendly helpful staff and the exceptional quality of food served. The onion rings are the best ever! Thank you for consistency!!

First thing: Plates are $25–70. Sides are extra. I've only been one time, but the food did not match up to the price for me. I got a pork chop and green beans. The pork chop was very good, but I've certainly had better. The plum sauce for the chop was not good at all. My green beans were boiled to death and pretty tasteless. The whole plate was otherwise empty; no garnish or other accompaniment.

Fin City Pizza is a budget-friendly pizza place located at a resort. Despite some mixed reviews, visitors were pleasantly surprised by the tasty and affordable pizzas. The create-your-own option with pepperoni was particularly recommended. Customers appreciated the generous use of seasonings and cheese. The service was noted to be courteous, and the overall experience left no complaints. Additionally, the establishment offers entertainment options such as pool tables, darts, and shuffleboard for added enjoyment.
Fin City Pizza offers several different types of pizza, satisfying every taste. Our group of 14 ordered 5 pizzas too many on the 4th of July and we had so many leftovers we couldn't finish. The pizza is thicker than our group expected, it was quite filling. Most of our group couldn't eat more than 2 slices each. The game room is a nice touch and feels very fitting for a pizza place. There's shuffleboard, pool, and darts, as well as TVs all around with sports playing. While dining here, I viewed my first ever professional pillow fighting competition. There's also outdoor seating on a large deck, with cornhole! Our family enjoyed this spot and almost dined here twice on our weekend stay at Margaritaville. Our room was just upstairs from the restaurant, so we got all the free, tasty smells.

Came after the dinner rush hour, ordered a couple of pizzas. - told they were bringing it out. After 20 or so minutes- asked about them said they’d gotten busy and it would be 20 more minutes. Ok After over an hour and seeing people leave who had arrived after us. Made another inquiry. Said they’d gotten busy probably got it mixed up, but then found it in the warmer. They just forgot. Hey - grand scheme of life no worries. Normal course of business- wretched and the incompetent. Don’t go here.

Now I’m aware we ordered at the end of the evening. We could have gotten room service but we choose to sit and wait. The host told us 15 min, we waited 40. The pizza was still raw and covered in red sauce. We ordered bbq chicken. At this point we just took it and left. Let’s just say…. Ellios frozen pizza would be gourmet to the subpar pizza we got. Pass on the pizza and grab a bag of overpriced chips on the lobby, less heartburn.

We came here expecting the worst after reading the reviews but were pleasantly surprised. Tasty pizza and cheap prices for being at a resort. Not the best pizza in the world but pretty good and fast. Employees were courteous and we overall had no complaints. Not sure what more we could have asked for.

Okay food. Okay service. Not very passionate about serving customers or making people happy with their service. For the price and mediocre food they need to step up the level of service provided. Go above and beyond. Especially when you make a mistake. When they forgot to include marinara sauce and garlic butter sauce for the breadsticks we ordered (honest mistake) they didn't even offer an apology. No explanation for why they can't bring it to us (it was a far walk from our room to the restaurant) and they said "no you have to come get it." And that was it. No apology was offered when we arrived in person either. We stayed for a week. That happened on night 2. We ordered 2 nights in a row and probably would have the entire trip but that made me not want to return. We spent over $80 in 2 nights so that is their loss.

Waiter was attentive, watched for drinks to be refilled, food arrived at a decent time. Price was normal. Highly Recomended, we ate at the outlet mall location.

Absolutely not worth the price. The noodles were absolutely waterlogged and the sauce the have is so plain. They talk about fresh and good rolls yet they are frozen over heated and no pride is taken in the kitchen. The shrimp scampi is a mess of soggy noodles water and oil with frozen over cooked shrimp. The red sauce is so underwhelming that a jar of ragu would be a better option. Cost me 50 bucks and honestly I'm pissed about the whole experience of the food. They wouldn't know Italian food if it smacked them in the face. Oh and the toasted ravioli is less than the prepackaged great value stuff from Walmart. Do yourself a favor and find some flavor somewhere else

Other dish baked lasagna was good. Buns were great nice n hot. No paper towels in bathroom no soap in bathroom. A knife was laying in floor near our booth n 3 servers walked over it a dozen times without picking it up until I finally told our server n she picked it up The person that cleaned a table used a towel that was dirty. Floor could have been swept. Nice decor and food was decent so I will give it another try

The largest table seated six. Probably not the place for large families. You might be able to push a couple tables together, but I wouldn't count on it.

We really enjoyed our meal. They were super busy but tables turned over quickly. Putting orders in their phone at the table and paying electronically at the table really speeds things up. The food was really good. I LOVED the hash browns and my husband said the French toast was amazing! The staff were super friendly and kept our drinks full. They certainly get their steps in. The atmosphere being loud is my only issue, but it was packed the whole time we were there so very understandable. We would definitely return. The prices are very reasonable as well. Thanks for great food and great service!!

Sergio's #2 Bagnell Dam Blvd is a charming Mexican eatery that captures the essence of authentic cuisine with its delightful offerings. Known for its sizzling fajitas and refreshing tequila drinks, this cozy spot prides itself on using fresh ingredients, like shrimp sourced from Coral Reef. The street tacos here are a must-try; they feature perfectly grilled chicken seasoned to perfection and topped with a vibrant verde salsa that adds just the right amount of heat.
Our experience was 10/10. They were super busy but we somehow got the last table right before the actual dinner rush. The service was fast and friendly. Chips and salsa while waiting we're on point. Went with the al pastor tacos ( no beans or rice ) & Chilli Relleno, both are banging but mixed together took it next level

I love this place. Good chips n salsa Great margaritas. NO SHREDDED BEEF. TACOS= Walmart shells with ground beef 🙄 Cheese enchilada = COLD CORN TORTILLAS wrapped around mozzarella cheese sticks. Really ? 🥺 Good beans but... I HATE THE FOOD here and it's the best Mexican restaurant for hundreds of miles.

Waited 15 min for table for 5. Nobody in front of us. Table was emptied. And waited to be seated. Instead they gave it to 2 people who literally just walked in the door. I asked why we didn't get the table, and they said they were just following the rules. Granted the table only had 4 chairs, BUT there was plenty of room to pull up an empty chair right next to it for the 5th person. They pulled up a baby high chair right next to it to accommodate those people! Then they laughed as we walked out. Not sure why people even patronize these people!

Legit, some of the best street tacos I've ever had. The chicken was grilled. Seasoned and bountiful. The Verde salsa that adorned the taco, was great. Lovely balanced heat. Played nicely with the meat. The tortillas, I think, we're handmade. There's no way to go wrong with that. The man working the register, is friendly and warm. He wants you to love his restaurant. End to end, fantastic. I'm so glad I went. Oh, 3 street tacos, rice and beans and a coke, 14 bucks. 😆

The steak and pasta was great, the blooming onion was perfect and the cheese fries were good too. Little pricey but worth it. If you go while they have the platypus punch drunk, just get it, it's so good. The cola punch is dangerous though. It doesn't even taste like there's any alcohol in it. Sooo good. Our waited was so sweet and on top of our needs. 10/10

The servers were great, the manager was super enthusiastic and made sure we were seated promptly, the hostess was kind, pleasant and even complimented me. Staff was great! Warm bread right away and yummy butter We both ordered a salad, the salads were sufficient and well presented. Although the balsamic ranch wedge salad had a bit too much ranch for my liking. So if you have a preference maybe ask for it in the side. Im sad to say the food was incredibly mediocre especially for the price. My steak was pretty decent and perfectly medium. The chicken was ok but I wasn’t feeling whatever cold dressing they had on the side. The mashed potatoes usually are more garlicky I was kinda sad they didn’t have the same flavor I remember. I also ordered two drinks a margarita and wallaby great , also got extra shots in side for 1.00 which made the drinks wonderful and strong. I highly recommend the cocktails. My partners food was really disappointing. The noodles were over cooked and there was almost NO SAUCE on the Alfredo- the pasta had no flavor. The shrimp were really delicious. The steak was flank or something odd and much smaller in texture than the steak I had. It was over cooked with no medium well pink center. It was completely dry. He did mention the flavor hasn't bad but overall did not like the dish.

It was a Monday night. They weren't busy but they were understaffed. We had that TV add meal deal that comes with dessert. It took 2 hours to get our entrees. Plus, we had to ask for them. They were out of mashed potatoes so I could only get baked... They forgot to bring our desserts. We finally just wanted out though and didn't realize it. Other half called up and asked if he could pick them up and they said we'd have to pay $6 more for the upcharge on the specific dessert we ordered and paid for already but just didn't get while we were there. The manager did discount our food. Not free, we still payed over $90 for this experience. I guess dessert was the write off. We didn't go pay again for it. The staff when we were there were nice.

Went there late evening last Friday with my son's girlfriend. The food was amazing. Our server Kate was super fun and sweet. The steak my son's girlfriend had was cooked perfectly (she likes hers really rare) and my Alice Springs Chicken with asparagus and loaded baked potato was amazing. Our mozzarella sticks were shaped like boomerangs. Totally love this place and will keep coming back! Thanks for making Kristina 's first time great!

Service was not the best. As the restaurant started to get busy partly through my meal service was non-existent. Mind of water glass went completely dry. The center cut sirloin that my wife ordered was as tough as eating shoe leather. The men's restroom was disgusting. It smelled a stale urine, was not the cleanest in the world. The men's restroom also was out of soap in one of the soap dispensers and paper towels were completely gone. I don't know if anybody ever cleans or checks this restroom but they really should. As for the food besides a sirloin It was not the best in the world especially for the price I paid. I would not recommend this restaurant and I definitely will not be coming back.

Ordered an appetizer online. I had a 35-40 minute drive AFTER placing the order. Pulled up, checked in at take away spot and set cor about 10 minutes. As I was waiting I watched an employee come out the door 3 times. There were no other cars or customers anywhere in sight. I was ignored. I had to walk in, search for a worker, and still continued to wait. About 3 minutes after I went in search of my order, the same exact employee that I watched walk outside 3 times and ignore me was the one that brought my order to me... I will add that I was parked directly in front of the door they use for curbside orders.
Nicole Y — Google review
When we went the city's water line had busted and they were on a boil order. The manager went to the store and got water and soda beverages which we thought was pretty professional. The food was great, everything was cooked to our liking, even the steaks and my White Russian drink that I got. Which anywhere I've gone never gets the consistency right but they nailed it. Definitely will come back again whenever I'm in the lake area.
William B — Google review
The food was sub par. Ordered a prime rib, medium rare, and it was flavorless and not up to temp. The coconut shrimp were great, but took so long to come out that the manager and server both came out and apologized and took it off the bill. Overall the atmosphere felt like you were in a place nobody wanted to be, with food that really was sub par.

Bandana's Bar-B-Q and Catering is a regional chain known for its Southern-style barbecue and sides, all served in a cowboy-themed space. It has been voted as one of the top BBQ restaurants at the lake, with high praise for their pulled pork and turkey. The restaurant is also recognized for its attentive and professional staff, with particular mention of waitress Heather. Customers appreciate the quality of the BBQ, especially the ribs and brisket, which are both flavorful and affordable.
After seeing one of the officers on Ozark Law mention this restaurant as his favorite local BBQ place, we decided to try it. We walked out full and happy! Great food, good-sized portions, and very friendly and attentive wait staff. We ordered the meal for 4 for 6 of us (3 adults, 2 teens, and 1 kid) and walked out with leftovers. Definitely will be back!

We ordered the BBQ for two, and it is enough food for two people it comes with two sides . Let me start with the side salad it was really good and fresh and the BBQ Ranch dressing was delicious it really did the trick! The ribs were delicious as well good flavor and not so dry! The garlic bread was delicious too!The rest of the food was pretty average, the coleslaw was decent , but the chicken was really simple with no flavor at all and kind of dry, the burnt Ends were not as good as I expected them, they were dry and hard I was expecting them a lot more soft and juicy! The place is pretty nice and clean and the staff was very nice and friendly!

I’ll definitely be going back! My family stopped in for a quick bite before heading home. We were on a bit of a time crunch, so when my ribs weren’t quite up to par, I didn’t make a fuss or say anything—just not my style. The service was great, everyone was friendly, and the rest of the food was really good. When we were checking out, our very kind waitress asked how everything was. Since she asked directly, I felt I should be honest. I wasn’t looking for a discount—the meal was already budget-friendly and came in under $10. But she insisted on taking the ribs off the bill, which was very thoughtful. Then, as we were leaving, what I assume was the manager or maybe the general manager stopped us—and to our surprise, gave us an extremely generous gift card. Yes, the ribs could’ve been better. But the fact that they cared enough to ask, listen, and go above and beyond to make it right—that really says a lot. We’ll absolutely be back.

They also have very good macaroni and cheese. Their chicken tenders are also very delicious! My mouth is watering as I’m writing this review. :)

The food was good as usual. They weren't busy at all but we had a male waiter with a pony tail who didn't once come to our table to check on us. Most of our meal was waiting on a drink refill that never came. He wouldn't make eye contact when walking by and we had to yell to get his attention to get our check.

Sweet Smoke BBQ in Osage Beach is a surprising gem with overly friendly staff and delicious food. The brisket is a must-try, and the variety of sauces, especially the Kansas City sweet, adds to the experience. The restaurant offers a kid-friendly menu and maintains cleanliness with sanitized tables and restrooms. The open layout provides a welcoming atmosphere, while the string beans and cheesy jalapeno grits stand out as exceptional sides.
We visited Sweet Smoke for the first time recently and the whole family loved it. It was clean, much more open than we expected from the street view. During ordering the staff seemed to enjoy working with one another, was knowledgeable, didn't push us in ordering, and answered our questions like "what is bama white sauce" or "what are giggles in the Lauren's drunk at Sam's drink". You'll have to come try one for yourself to find out what that ingredient is. We sat on a moderately spacious patio and our food was brought to us. The waitress checked in the perfect amount of times. We enjoyed all four of the sauces, my favorite was the Carolina. It wasn't what I expected, in a good way. Everything was flavorful, especially the greenbeans with meat in them, delicious. The turkey in the kids meal was perfectly moist. The food came out quick enough that the breads weren't soggy, neither were the chips. The Lauren's drink wasn't overpowering, just a well blended mix, I liked that, plus it was happy hour! The burgers may look like a mess, but they were a delicious mess. Even the slaw was complimentary and not overpowering. We ate everything it was that yummy. 😋 Another thing that I give mad props for, we came toward the end of the day and they had signs over what they were out of - I. Love. That. I love that they set expectations accordingly upon me looking at the menu board. I hate ordering and after I've mentally gotten excited for my meal, I find out they can't make it, just tell me up front, and they did. Score. If you like BBQ, you'll be a fan of Sweet Smoke BBQ.

This place was a surprise. The staff was overly friendly which was appreciated. The brisket was delicious. On the table there were four sauces to choose from my favorite was the Kansas City sweet. They also had a kid friendly kids meal. My daughter had the smoked turkey breast and it was delicious. The restaurant was clean and the employee sanitized in between each person after they were done eating. The restrooms were one stall each for women and one for man they were clean and smelled good. The price was moderate.

Very good tasting BBQ for the lakes. Brisket and sausage were excellent and I thought the sweet KC sauce and Texas sauce were the 2 best. Even the pickle and apple garnishes were tasty.

I’ve always been picky about bbq. This place definitely makes the best in the area. I love their unique taste in sandwiches. The meat is tender and flavorful so much that I didn’t even think to try any sauce until I was nearly done with my Pulled Pulled Pork. The service was quick and friendly. The gentleman explained the menu options to us first-timers. The dining area is clean and well kept. Will be back!!

We ordered the pulled pork nachos and loaded fries. All of the components of the nachos were amazing. The tortilla chips tasted homemade and the addition of beans with both orders was yummy. I've tried the other two bbq places in Osage Beach, but Sweet Smoke BBQ is the best!

Great place! Food was ready insanley fast. Not the "normal' BBQ. Nice thick and sticky bark to the ribs, sorta light smoke, nice pull to the meat. Beans were amazing, nice and meaty. Tots were really nice for dipping in their unique BBQ sauces. The B&B pickle and pickeled apples were also a nice touch, just wish there were a couple more. Staff was excellent. I left stuffed and very satisfied. I will definately come back when im in Osage Beach again.

It was an amazing experience. I was there with my band after we finished playing at MMEA and there was another band there too. the service was amazing they were on those dishes to get them cleaned and the lady that was collecting the plates and bowls was so nice and friendly. the food was also AMAZING. the bourbon street chicken was my absolute favorite. I ended up getting 4 plates in total. I also got 2 servings of their ice cream with caramel. the ice cream was to die for. towards the end the ice cream machine broke BUT that was after being used by easily 120 kids. I'm not going to complain about food selection as I honestly feel it was adequate. The staff was friendly. My concern is the steady drip onto a table from the HVAC system in one of the dining areas. 6.5.25 Don't eat a burger anywhere else!! We've stopped by here many times, and our experiences are always good, but tonight, our dinner was excellent, so l had to leave a review! We had the Double Ranch Bacon burger (HUGE), and my husband had the old-fashioned cheese burger. Our burgers were perfectly cooked and pink in the middle as we had asked, and the fries were hot and salty. My 90 yr old mamá had the 6 oz sirloin, med rare, loaded potatoes and broccoli. (A+) Our server was on point, checked on us often, but wasn't intrusive and kept our drinks full. The restaurant is always clean, and it's a great place to hang out w/family & friends. A+++ experience all around!

SO - the food was pretty good! I absolutely love the fries here and the chicken was pretty good! The macaroni I got was a little cold by the time it got to me and I didn't like it that much, but all in all not bad! What impressed me more though was how fast they got it out. 7 minutes or so during rush hour and they got it out for me - that's commendable for sure. Definitely more expensive tha most places around here, so I'm not gonna go often - but it's a treat when I do for sure!

The service was excellent, as was the margarita. But, the chicken bacon ranch quesadilla left something to be desired. There wasn't very much filling, and it was all in the middle. I couldn't taste any bacon either. Also, the shell was overcooked. This isn't the first time this has happened. Sadly, I think I'll try somewhere else.

The second we walked in we were greeted with a friendly smile and got seated quickly. The waiter that took care of us was amazing. Joking, fast, happy to be there. As well as another waitress, playing peek-a-boo with my youngest while cleaning up the table on the other side of the glass. Just a really nice atmosphere. Love the Combo Fajitas and the Soup, Salad, and Chips! Very Clean & Delicious food! Love the chips & skillet queso, too! RECOMMEND TRYING! UPDATED *Had GREAT SERVICE this time & multiple people making sure that we had EVERYTHING NEEDED QUICKLY! Our waiter was extremely busy & did a GREAT JOB! NEVER ran out of Anything! My husband had the quesidillas and I had the All You Can Eat Soup, Salad, & Chips and Salsa. Maybe Management has changed! WHATEVER it is KEEP IT UP!!! Very Clean Restaurant & EXCELLENT SERVICE! RECOMMEND IF the SERVICE CONTINUES to be this good! Worst Chili's I've ever been to! I've been to Chili's all over the country and the service at this location was awful! It took forever to get waited on to begin with and then our waiter kept making excuses for his horrible service. We could hear him telling everyone else how sorry he was, thinking that would make up for it, then just being an awful waiter afterwards. Our waiter had dark hair in a ponytail and never brought any refills, we could see him hiding out in the back and when I asked for clean spoons for my soup, he acted like I needed to use the same one and when I told him that you normally get a clean spoon for different soups, he grimaced, rolled his eyes and started to argue with me before stopping and walking off. I didn't even notice, at first, but everyone in my party was irritated because they couldn't believe how horrible he was. Anyway, I Recommend going someplace else and definitely not having our waiter.

My family and I came in last night, came in and waited to be sat. No one helped us as we stood by the door for what seemed like forever. Maybe 10 -15 minutes. Not busy at all by the way!! There was a bartender and another guy behind the bar who never even looked our way. Finally we were sat by a waitress. She began to take our orders and we could barely hear her due to her low tone plus her wearing a face mask. Anytime we would ask her to repeat herself, she would repeat very rudely and extremely snarky. Finally we got our orders in and our drinks came! She just sat the drinks down at the end of the table being snarky once again. I placed an order of hot wings for an appetizer and my daughter ordered the special with the 3 appetizers and our meals. My hot wings came out, extremely burnt, they were hard as rocks and the sauce was just thrown on top of wings!! No other appetizer came out. When I asked about my daughter’s appetizer, I guess she thought it was a meal cause once again snarky about when she was being it out and she only had so many hands. Now I am a local and i love Applebees, and I have never seen this type of behavior at our Applebees. I am not sure if management has changed or what but our experience was horrible and sad to say, it was enough for us not go back.

Just tried to eat at this location. Waited for over 5 minutes just to be "greeted" at the door. I went to use the bathroom while my husband waited to be seated. I walked by the kitchen the staff was just standing in the kitchen talking amongst themselves. Went back out front still nobody greated us. The place was pretty much empty. A table of 10 was sitting and another table of 2 both still had only menues so clearly nobody was working the front. It's 12:30 on a Thursday. We walked out. Guess that explains why the parking lot was empty. Went to First Watch greeted and sat immediately ordered and food delivered within 10 minutes. WONT BE GOING BACK to Applebee's. Do better guys.

Decided to do a pick up dinner with the wife after finding out we were expecting. She was craving an Applebee's burger. The front of the house staff was extremely friendly. Their portion control was disappointing.

Music was good. All the food was way too salted. Had the Bourbon street chicken and shrimp with mashed potatoes. The chicken was actually the only part of the meal (other than the water) that did not have way too much seasoning or salt on it. I swear the mashed potatoes had to have came from a bag, they brought back memories of the boxed kind you fluff up with water. Wife had a half rack of ribs and they had to have been kept under the warmer for at least 2-4 hours.

I did not want to go through a drive-through, but I was looking for something quick. I don’t usually stop at Applebee’s, but I’m glad I did at this location. From the way I was greeted at the door to the way the server was quick and attentive, even the way the bus boys were cleaning the tables off, I was blown away about how quick and efficient this team was. And they were incredibly polite. Food was exactly as I expected, but the service was top-notch. If you’re looking for something quick, a clean restaurant, and decent to eat, stop here.

So we were there on a Friday around 8-9pm, place was pretty slow on the crowd so we thought it'd be a good idea to eat there. We can see why. The waitress was nice enough, just not very attentive. Seemed much more interested in talking to the guys in the back. Waiting awhile before getting a refill, I work in the heat outside, I chugged my drink pretty quick after getting it. Everyone who walked past our table literally would look the other direction as I tried to gesture towards my empty cup. Lol Finally we get our food. The guy bringing out the food is the first person to ask if we needed anything. I get my refill finally. We start eating our lukewarm French fries & our flavorless steaks that tasted like we were eating microwaved leftovers. We let the waitress know when she finally checked on us, not really eating our steaks, which you'd think would be a noticeable thing but she does for what's it's worth bring me a cup of loose seasoning to try to add flavor to the steaks. I take 2 more bites, not feeling it. We wait for another 5-10 minutes before we see anyone else, I believe it's the manager who asks if he can get me anything, I ask for the check. Our waitress pokes her head around the corner finally but for no reason other than to see the manager is getting our check. He doesn't ask if anything is wrong; it was. He doesn't ask if the food sucks, it did. He brings the check almost $60 for like 6 bites out of a steak & lukewarm French fries. Ridiculous. Lousy staff. No effort made to make anything right. Don't recommend.

Have gone several times to keep giving them a chance. Food is either cold. Under cooked. Or burnt. Can't cook a steak. Ask several times for refills on drinks and don't get them. Ask for a side of ranch and you're done eating by the time they get it to you, if they remember.

If you're craving authentic Mexican cuisine without the need for a passport, Taqueria La Tapatia in Osage Beach is your go-to spot! This charming little eatery may be small, with just a couple of tables inside and two picnic tables outside for those lovely days, but it packs a punch when it comes to flavor. Many visitors rave about their diverse taco offerings—think carne asada, al pastor, barbacoa, and carnitas—all bursting with deliciousness.
We had a great meal here. It was lunch hour and they had a lot of customers. Still they managed to be curtious, get the food out fast, and ask us if we needed any thing. We were having good weather so we ate outside. It was nice. Food was priced just right and the quality was good. I’d love to go here again.

NOTE: THEY OPEN @ 11 AM EVERYDAY. 🔥 Update: 3.2.25, 11:15 and this place is humming! The inside eating space is tiny but cozy. Another bowl of killer menudo, 5*****! Call ahead, it will cut down on the wait. Update: Ordered a bowl of Menudo (only on Sundays) this morning, and it was one of THE best bowls I've ever had! I ordered it w/pata, and that's hard to find these days. The order is $13 and worth every single penny! It is one of the most legit taco shops from here to & including Jeff City. Everything is delicious, but the street tacos de Barbacoa are freaking AMAZING. The meat was tender, juicy, and so tasty! My husband loved his chicken quesadilla because it was very flavorful and juicy. It had lots of cheese, and unlike other quesadillas around the lake, it's the total opposite of dry. The guacamole was fresh and tasty and beware of the red hot sauce in the plastic bottles. 😬 It's not super cheap, but nothing is anymore, right? I'm happy to pay for quality, and the folks that work there are friendly.

If you are looking for authentic Mexican food in Osage Beach, this is the spot! My carne asada tacos were out of this world! My friends both had burritos and loved them as well!! We were in a hurry and we got our food quickly and the staff is so friendly. Our first trip in but certainly won't be our last!! 👏👏👏

I've been here three or four times. Since 2023. They are a very friendly family. You will hear them laughing while making your food. You can tell they love what they do and do it welk together as a family. The food is eso estuvo delicioso. Absolutely delicious. I put them right up there with El Tapatio Taqeuria inside the mall in Jefferson City. If you are looking for fast, great tasting authentic Mexican. This place and the one at Jefferson City. I mention are the spots to go. Absolutely phenomenal tasting food. If you are ever down here at the Lake of Ozarks. It's off the KK exit.

About as authentic as it gets! Don’t be fooled by the small building; this restaurant serves food with big taste. I’ve not had a single item that I didn’t like. The Al pastor tacos and steak torta are full of flavor and always hot and fresh.

This is my favorite Mexican food restaurant! Authentic Mexican food is the best. My favorites are asada (steak) huarache, asada & carnitas (pork) street tacos, & burritos. Everything my family has tried has been great. The inside is small & only has 3 tables. Great service & great food & nice atmosphere!! Thanks to Daniel & Nery!

The Carnitas and Al Pastor are awesome. I had 2 Carne Asadas as well which were good but my favorite was definitely the Al Pastor and Carnita Tacos. Prepared super quickly too (5-10 minutes, both for 2 separate orders) so well done on speed too. I'll be back. Reasonable prices too for the high quality!

The best Mexican food I've had in central Missouri since I've lived here and that goes back to '97. Not better than my Mom, Wife or my Abuelita but a close 2nd! Get the torta!!!!!

Located at Millers Landing, The Hatch offers a satisfying dining experience with its tasty food and picturesque lake views. Whether it's for a morning brunch or a late lunch, this spot provides delicious meals such as thick and juicy burgers, flavorful shrimp tacos, and delightful poke bowls. The restaurant features both indoor seating and a spacious outdoor patio overlooking the lake. While the menus could use an upgrade to laminated ones, the recent remodeling has enhanced the overall ambiance of the place.
Found this place on our mini-honeymoon and we kept coming back! Food was good, atmosphere right on the water is beautiful, and the service was fantastic. They had a dog menu that our dogs absolutely loved. Hodel had a fire playlist going, and two people we met even paid for our meal because we just got married. My favorite place hands down on our entire trip. Great food, great people, great atmosphere!

Couple of us ate breakfast here and it was ok. Wasn’t anything special about the food and portions on the small side. Definitely on the higher end of pricing for what it is. Great friendly service and nice views but I doubt we’ll go back beings the food was mediocre at best and prices weren’t inline with the actual quality of the food. Spent approximately $30 per person and a simple cup of what seemed to be Folgers coffee was $6. While not waterfront the Pancake house or first watch in Osage beach has this place beat hands down in all categories imo!

Happy birthday to me! Wow what a wonderful experience! They made me a excellent custom order breakfast, chicken and biscuits. Sitting dockside in the sunshine. It doesn't get better than this. 😎

Liz is the best bartender & server. Nice atmosphere with outdoor seating & limited indoor seating. Shrimp tacos were so good. I took Liz’s recommendation & would get again. Something about their sauce was so refreshing on such a hot day. My friend ordered club sandwich and it did not disappoint. There was enough for leftovers! I’ve had their avocado toast with egg for breakfast & would highly recommend.

The workers were really nice and it’s a fun place to go; however, the food is below average. I got an omelet and French toast. The omelet was tiny. I ate it in 7 bites and it was supposedly 3 eggs. It was also soaked in grease. The French toast was not anything special it could use some more topping and it was kind of hard. They were also out of creamer. Our waitress was lovely though. The food is very overpriced for the portion size and quality.

My family came here by boat for breakfast. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the balcony view of the water with lots of fish and turtles swimming. Unfortunately the coffee was not favorable. We received our food at less than room temperature and the portions are pretty small, especially the omelette. The workers failed to let us know that we would not receive our hashbrowns inside our burritos or even as a side due to a shortage. The service was pretty good otherwise and the server was apologetic. The fish food in the quarter machine was dried up and ate my quarters. Unfortunately we will not be back to The Hatch.

What a fantastic place to sit by the water and enjoy some award winning cuisine. We were lucky enough to be there for some live music too, which was great. One of our favorite things was the Bob Ross channel playing inside. If you go in the evening, bring bug spray.

We came here for lunch today. The view is beautiful and the restaurant was very clean. The menu was quite a bit smaller than the one we saw online I tried to order a frozen margarita. The bartender came out and told me that he couldn’t do a lime margarita, only flavored or it wouldn’t taste good. I appreciate that he came out to talk, but I don’t understand how a lime margarita is difficult to make. I ended up ordering a vodka cranberry and it was not the best. I had the southwest chicken bites. They weren’t what I expected, but were pretty good. My husband ordered the smash burger. It didn’t appear to be a smash burger as it was pretty thick and pink inside. We also both felt a little sick a few hours after.
