My order was GLUTEN FREE but full of flavor!! Highly recommend & it's worth the wait. Nice renovation but do miss the iconic sign out front. Definitely a lake must do! Their service always exceeds expectations.

Our 1st time here. Group of 8... place was busy so 20min wait to be seated. We got seated with Debbie. Great service! Fun! Food was awesome and big portions. Seats could be a little more comfy than just wood seats. We would definitely return .
Jason Y — Google review
Enjoyed Bonnie’s last night so went to pancake house this morning as these travelers heard it was the same owner. It was great! Nichole was fabulous, didn’t hover but always attentive, very nice. I loved the breakfast skillet but wish the peppers had been cooked so not so crunchy. Definitely would order again

Check my reviews, I don’t believe I’ve ever given out a five star review. This place deserves it. The food was great, can’t think of one bad thing to say about the service; the atmosphere was good. They had big screens, so I could look at the game. I can’t think of one thing to complain about.I will definitely be back.
Andrew B — Google review
It’s not fancy, but the food was very good and our server was an absolute gem. It feels a bit like a garage. Wednesday’s are for seniors and today (Thursday), was waffle day. Prices were excellent.
Gaynor H — Google review
I don't know if there is something in the water down here, but as soon as we walked in we were treated like we were regulars! The staff is so fun, very chill and easy to get along with. I feel like I just left my best friends! The food was delicious, huge portions, so make sure you have fridge space for the leftovers! I added this place to my list of places to visit again next time we come through.
Sarah A — Google review
We've been coming here for years and the food is always great, but our most recent visit has compelled me to leave a five star review. I brought my five year old daughter in for a Daddy-Daughter brunch date and the wait staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. We felt like family and they went above and beyond to make it a special experience for us. We will be coming back many more times!
Zac B — Google review
Amazing breakfast! If you order pancakes, you better have an appetite! The short stack is 2 pancakes larger than your face! See photo compared with husband’s hand. He’s a hearty eater and tapped out! The full stack is 4 of these large pancakes. They are light and fluffy and have the perfect flavor. I ordered the vegetable quiche, which was very tasty and filling and their hashbrowns……no words can describe how tasty! They have a sour cream and chive and cheesiness to them. You must try!

We enjoyed breakfast at First Watch! Saturday morning at 9 during the off-season, we were seated right away. Lindsay took great care of us, and the food was delicious! All of our meals were cooked to perfection with very fresh ingredients. Did not try any of the juices, but the selection was impressive. We will be back!

Came in our crew after getting married, several staff stopped and congratulated us! They even brought out a small bottle of champagne for us to toast with. ( completely unexpected! ) million dollar bacon and pumpkin doughnut holes were just as good as our last visit a yr ago! Locally sourced delicious food, and super friendly and patient staff! Will return again on our next visit to area!

Nice, clean restaurant with some class. Not your typical greasy spoon. The food tasted great as was the presentation. They even offered Mimosas with breakfast!

My meal was Delicious!! I changed up and ordered a Tri-Fecta Breakfast with the Banana Crunch Multigrain Pancake... it did not disappoint!! The banana slices were cooked inside the pancake along with granola and almonds!! OMG...it tasted like I was eating a Banana Nut Muffin. 😍❤️ #HighlyRecommended

This is a great location and the food was awesome. The wait was long for a Friday morning and we had a big group, but once we got our food it was really good. The servers were very helpful and attentive. Their kitchen team was hardworking and efficient. The host staff was helpful as well. Their farmhouse skillet is one of the best skillets you’ll find anywhere and the million dollar bacon is really good too. Great atmosphere, very clean and modern. Would definitely come back again!

It's first watch, you should know what your getting. Some things are great, some are meh, the service was very good but the food was ok. Some things like the bacon and sausage were amazing, the eggs and omelet were passable. Inwould have preferred a local place bit I had to find parking for a camper. Good but not great.

Restaurant
Bear Creek Valley Golf Club is a popular spot in Osage Beach, MO known for its well-kept and beautiful golf course. The restaurant on-site is a favorite breakfast spot among locals and visitors alike. It offers a variety of menu options including American, BBQ, Mexican, Italian, pizza, seafood/Cajun with special menus for kids and seniors as well as vegetarian/vegan and gluten-free options.
Great day at this place! Fair price, fast and true greens, pleasant staff. Be ready for some serious elevation changes creating challenging tee shots. Tee boxes need help, but that's my only fuss. Had minimal impact on our day anyways. Just a fun, unique style of course. Definitely worth a visit.
Nick T — Google review
The course itself was in good shape for the late season, and the clubhouse staff was friendly. Despite having two marshals driving around, pace of play was completely unchecked—we waited for two groups ahead of us to tee off on the par 3s and took over five hours to finish the round.
Matt S — Google review
Breakfast was great. Appreciate the hospitality and quick service. Played 18 and had a nice cold beer in the same restaurant/pub we had breakfast. Very convenient easy course to get to and plenty of good parking. The place is run well and kept up for the amount of play they get. Thanks for the good day of food and golf.
Ron K — Google review
Course was enjoyable and relaxing. Office lady wasn’t the nicest. Every question we had about the course was met with rudeness like we don’t know how to golf. Tried to call asking about the course once more and was hung up on mid sentence. Can’t remember her name and don’t care to know it but she had black hair and about in her 60s so watch out for that one.
Corban L — Google review
Very slow play! They need to space out their starting times, or police those who play too slow. When the pace is better it's a fun course with lots of hills and trees. Be prepared to lose lots of balls unless you're pretty good.
Tony R — Google review
Overall not a bad course for the money. Very, very hilly and some blind shots. No walking allowed and once you play it you’ll understand why! Tee boxes need some maintenance but overall the course and greens are in great shape. It’ll definitely test your golf skills. Hit em straight!
Bob G — Google review
We love Bear Creek! Every person on the staff is accommodating and friendly. The course is an equal mix of challenging holes and very fun ones. It's beautiful, well maintained and low key. The restrooms, halfway house and water on course are very convenient. Just have fun!
Ive L — Google review
Went for breakfast and disappointed. The bear Creek omelet had mostly veggies, very little meat My go to has always been the crunchy French toast and sadly it didn't hit the spot. Bread was entirely too thick and dry dry dry. Not sure we will be back.

Good food with a solid diner restaurant menu. I had the Cozy Shingle that has scrambled eggs buried in chili, cheese, & onions over Texas toast. I loved it. The wait staff is perfection.
Cary B — Google review
The food was great. The servers were very pleasant and very attentive. The atmosphere was very lively, happy, and upbeat. What a great way to start the morning! The Cozy Cafe is way better than Pancake House! I will certainly be back for more of that great white gravy! I am still a fat guy trapped in a skinny boy's body. (^u^)
Devyn J — Google review
Extremely popular. Attentive wait staff, reasonable pricing, good food, great coffee. Went for breakfast; all tables full by 9:00am. I was able to order polish sausage with breakfast, a rarity. The largest table seated six. Probably not the place for large families. You might be able to push a couple tables together, but I wouldn't count on it.
VoxLesPaul — Google review
We really enjoyed our meal. They were super busy but tables turned over quickly. Putting orders in their phone at the table and paying electronically at the table really speeds things up. The food was really good. I LOVED the hash browns and my husband said the French toast was amazing! The staff were super friendly and kept our drinks full. They certainly get their steps in. The atmosphere being loud is my only issue, but it was packed the whole time we were there so very understandable. We would definitely return. The prices are very reasonable as well. Thanks for great food and great service!!

Eating breakfast here was the best way to finish our trip. The food was amazing and so flavor full! I can’t say enough; the atmosphere is great, everyone is so friendly. I can’t recommend enough.

The restaurant has gained recognition from various sources such as Southern Living, Golf Magazine, and the Kansas City Star for its outstanding BBQ at Lake of the Ozarks.
We had dinner here back in the fall of 2019. The service was great. Our server was very attentive. The food was delicious, and I would definitely come back to try more! My children also loved it, so that says something!
Lizzi B — Google review
I got the French dip, it was good. Bottom was a little sogged out but that happens when the meats juicy. And it was. Good steak. Au jus was nice. Seasoned well. Boyfriend got the Cuban, wasn't a fan of the mustard choice but said other then that a good sandwich. Mac and cheese was good just wish it would of been a little warmer. Service was good. All in all 4 stars. Cool little place to grab a bite to eat.
Alyssa W — Google review
I had the turkey & beef brisket combo. It was a little dry. Only slightly warm, but that's typical for BBQ. We sat at the bar & the service was great. The onion rings were giant & delicious. Price very fair for the area.
Shasta G — Google review
This was our first time going there. We ordered takeout. We purchased a property this weekend, so there is no time to cook. Wow, this food is delicious. There are so many good things. We ordered this because we wanted to have food for the next day. The cheesy corn is so good. The bacon wrapped shrimp were amazing. The brisket top notch. The pulled pork is amazing! The crab stuffed mushrooms were just okay. They were our least favorite , they were still good. All the rest of the stuff was just outstanding.
Michael A — Google review
I stopped here to pick up dinner to take home. It was amazing and plentiful! Seriously, there was enough food for me to have lunch the next day. Dinner was catfish filets, a huge baked potato, and a salad. They even put in a piece of Texas toast. All of the extras were there, butter, sour cream, eating utensils... the works! Very thoughtful! Even the ladies at the counter that took my order were cordial. I have eaten here several times, but this was my first take-home order. I was very impressed. 😋
Holly D — Google review
No wait when we arrived. Got an order of fried pickles, an Ozark Lemonade & a 2 meat plate with brisket, burnt ends & cheesy corn. Pretty tasty & worth the stop.
M G — Google review
At the lake for training and tried this place out, fried pickles were kinda on the thick side, but still yummy, my favorite was loaded fries, the queso had a little kick to it and was delicious, I got the pork tenderloin meal and it was pretty tasty, geen beans not my favorite but im kinda picky on them, I still ate them :) Food was reasonably priced as well. The waitress was at our table several times checking on us, she did a great job and was very friendly!!
April S — Google review
We arrived on Monday June 16, 2025 for Game 5 of the NBA Finals, just after 7:00 PM CDT. The website clearly says that you can watch all of the big games. We asked three (3) times for them to change the channel to ABC for the game. Three (3) times they told us it wasn't available. Instead, they showed us American Ninja Warrior on NBC. The lack of a big game on the TVs is unacceptable for a restaurant that bills itself as "A Sports Fan's Paradise." This is especially true when the game is on network TV and not on a premium channel. We still are and drank, but we didn't stick around too long. Food was good. Service was adequate. Photos show what was playing on the TVs and a screenshot of their website.

My family and I come to Osage Beach every summer and I was SUPER EXCITED to see a locally owned coffee shop! The coffee was fantastic. The customer service was great! Loved the layout and the atmosphere that just screamed “hang out for a while!” So we did! We played games! Drank coffee. We’ll for sure be back! I hope you’re here for years to come!

Stopped to get some coffee to go, there was no wait, it was a weekday morning. The iced caramel latte was delicious, also got peppermint mocha that was good and iced coffee. Coffee house had ample seating, and its own parking lot. Variety of good drinks. If I lived close by, this would definitely being my go-to place multiple times a week!

Cool coffee shop with a nice atmosphere! Lots of tables and couches to sit at. My vanilla latte was delicious and although I didn’t try any of the pastries they looked yummy! I would stop here again.

Redhead Lakeside Grill and Yacht Club is a modern American eatery offering classic dishes with scenic water views and a unique swim-up bar. Located at the 21-mile marker, it provides open-air waterfront dining, a pool, and live music entertainment. The establishment also features an outdoor bar where guests can catch Sunday night games on TV.
We got married at Waterfront weddings on the lake on July 3rd, beautiful sunset wedding and was recommended to try a restaurant, it was kinda late but still had plenty of time, they turned us away even with our wedding attire on, so went to Red heads and so glad we did! They all were so nice and congratulated us and said how nice we looked. I'm guessing the owner or manager, was so kind ,and didn't charge for my delicious strawberry shortcake frozen drink. We took a pizza to go and great food too! We tried the cave bar and grill too on July 1st before then and really enjoyed it too, before we had a tour at the bridal cave. Had an awesome time swimming in the bar pool! Also enjoyed their bourbon burgers and orange creamsickle frozen drinks! I know it's owned by the same person. These 2 restaurants had the best atmosphere food, and service from our visit to loto from Illinois. Thanks again to Redheads for making our night even more magical!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Fantastic Experience! We had an incredible time at Redhead Lakeside Grill & Yacht Club. From the moment we arrived, the service was top-notch—friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The staff really went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. The food was absolutely awesome! We started with the chicken nachos as an appetizer—loaded, flavorful, and perfect for sharing. For our mains, we had the cheeseburger and the firecracker mac and cheese, both of which were outstanding. The burger was juicy and cooked just right, and the mac and cheese had the perfect kick of heat without being overpowering. The lakeside atmosphere was the cherry on top—beautiful views, a laid-back vibe, and an all-around great place to relax and enjoy a meal. Highly recommend this spot if you're looking for delicious food, exceptional service, and a great time by the water. Can’t wait to come back!

Interesting place. They have 2 pools you can use while dining there. A family pool & an over 21 pool. Bar, indoor/outdoor seating. I would say traditional American food. It was good.

Fish sandwich was very tasty and fresh. Jerk chicken tacos delicious. Best potato salad ever. Pizza was good but slow to come out. Neat place on the water with a swim up bar. We were here during a very busy sat and they seemed to keep up well except the pizza cooks. Id come back again.
Shawna K — Google review
Took a recommendation from a staff member at Margaritaville and I'm glad I did. Right on the water, with a pool, swim-up bar, and poolside service. The blacked fish-tacos (with corn tortillas) had a perfectly balanced spice, sweet and citrus. Think family pool party - with a nice gift shop...

Great visit. Was brought to eat here by a friend. Food was great. Was a little noisy at times, but that is expected in this type of establishment. Waitresses were great. Good view of the lake. Shorty Pants Lakeside Cajun Restaurant & Marina is a waterfront spot offering a casual Cajun and bar-food menu, live music, and ample outdoor seating. It's known for its New Orleans-inspired cuisine with dishes like Jambalaya, fried oysters, peel-and-eat shrimp, and po'boys. The establishment also features an outside tiki bar for drinks and lively entertainment.
In-credible! Let’s start with our arrival (cuz it was funny)… we mapped the route with google maps and were on our motorcycles. Sadly we were sent through a short, but deep stretch of gravel right before the backside of the parking lot. Oh well. Speaking of the parking lot… it’s snug. We watched multiple pickup trucks “destroy” the marked spots. They didn’t even try to park in their spot. It’s a struggle to get anything in and out so we were lucky to be on our bikes. Anyway… our waitress was sweet as can be and couldn’t have been more helpful. She’d come by and chat, kept our dishes cleaned and our drinks full. We sat on the deck, next to the water. The weather was perfect and the view was great. Our waitress recommended my buddy get the fish tacos instead of the fish and chips and he was blown away. I opted for a half order of the Cajun fries and the gulf shrimp appetizer. Unreal. So damn good. You gotta stop by if you want excellent seafood! It’s kind of out of the way (maybe more convenient if you’re on the water?) but it’s well worth it!!
Aaron ( — Google review
Excellent food, great, quick service, nice dockside outdoor seating. Outdoor seating was near capacity, indoor dining room was empty the evening we were there. Restaurant level parking is limited, additional parking is a bit of a steep climb after, but worth the effort.
James S — Google review
I recommend the shrimp and Crawfish Etoufee, The fried green tomatoes I don't think were fresh maybe frozen as the coating was subpar. But the rest of the food was amazing. The waiter was great, attentive, customer service oriented. The outside seating was amazing. One of the best outside seating on the water restaurants I've ever been to. I strongly suggest coming here if you've never been as the ambiance is perfect. The food plating was great as well.

First time to this restaurant and it did not disappoint. I was able to sit outside and look over the lake while I enjoyed my meal. The server was great, very friendly and attentive. I had the Smothered Catfish with a side of Gumbo and the flavors were incredible. I ended the meal with fresh beignets which were served with a homemade raspberry sauce, so good! Would definitely return for another meal.

What an amazing meal! Service was great and friendly and the food was authentic Cajun. I had the shrimp and grits tacos with the loaded fries because of the jalapeño lime sauce and it was so good. It's hard to find shrimp that delicious this far inland and they really nailed every dish that we got. Getting in on a boat is a little tight but they have awesome dock attendants to help if you're a newbie. Do yourself a favor and stop in to eat here!
Sarah D — Google review
Cajun food in the Ozarks! Everything was great. The Fried Green Tomatoes were amazing. Ok, the cornbread was excellent. We ordered a couple to go for my leftovers. The serving sizes are very generous. If you leave hungry, it's your fault We never felt rushed, and we didn't feel any discrimination for our brown skin. The pineapple mojito was tasty and way better than the one I had at that Mamacita restaurant the evening before. Each dish was full of flavor. Well done!!! We will be back.

Table 33 is a restaurant located at 3797 Osage Beach Pkwy, Osage Beach, Missouri. The owners, Don and Joann Smallwood, previously owned the Tea Room near the same location.
This is one of my favorite places to eat. The food is amazing. They have possibly the best french onion soup I have ever had. The gyro is huge and so good. All of their sandwiches are big. I always have enough to take home for later. You do have to order at the counter, and then they bring your food out. So it isn't full service. They offer beer and wine also.

This was our first stop to eat after traveling for a few days to the lake. Wonderful experience! We got the gyro, broccoli soup, and jerk chicken bowl. Everything was delicious! Gyro had some the thickest slices of gyro meat I've ever seen, cooked perfectly. Broccoli soup was just right on a cold night, and not too salty like other places. Plus it had awesome croutons made in restaurant. And the jerk chicken bowl surprised me with it's initial heavy kick of heat, but it quickly settled down and all the other flavors continued to blend in perfectly. Oh, and more importantly, the service was amazing! We came late, almost before close. But our server was super lively, helpful and friendly. We had a lot of fun talking with her. Only wish I would have gotten her name so I could honor her here! Overall, great food and experience. Will be back again for sure.

Enjoyed dinner for two. Casual and friendly service. Didn't like the greek salad dressing, personally thought it was more like a sweet French. Also the fries had some sort of seasoning salt mixed with sugar. Would return and order the gyro with tzatziki sauce.

Have been here a few times on the recommendation of a former friend. Great place with the owner always being present and hands on. Believe most things are locally sourced. Great price points for the serving sizes and portions. Ordered the Gyro, which came with quite a bit of meat, and house fries. I'll def make it a reg place to grab a bite after church or when out and about...

Best sandwiches in Missouri 🤤 Everything’s freshly made, prices are super reasonable, and portions are huge! I couldn’t help but tell the chef, “I love you!”

10/10 recommend stopping here! Great value for your money and sooo delicious. The staff were all super friendly and made accommodations for our 2 toddlers to split a meal! We asked for an extra plate and they went ahead and plated it on 2 separate plates for each of them. Our toddlers had the Jerk chicken bowl but without the jerk sauce and it was still delicious. My husband had the Poke bowl and I had the Chicken club with french fries. All of the food was better than the fancy restaurants we had went to the 2 days before and left underwhelmed. And the prices were fair as well! The presentation of the food made you feel like you were at a fancy resturant! I wish I took pictures of our food but you can see in other reviews how great it looks!

Both Angel and Bailey were fantastic! Upbeat, cheery, efficient, and watchful of the table without being intrusive. It was my first time there but will definitely be going back. Food was hot and plentiful. The French dip was killer, and the fries were hot and extremely flavorful. Both women represent the restaurant very well. Superior service is seldom seen these days, but I experienced it tonight!

SO GOOD! I’ve enjoyed meals there twice already in my 1 week stay in the area. Cheesy grits are ahhmazing & slightly spicy. Friend had the shrimp & grits — yummy! Strawberry fields salad is such a tasty treat. Everything great so far.

Nestled in the heart of Osage Beach, MO, Paint Box Cafe is a delightful spot that promises a cozy and laid-back atmosphere perfect for breakfast lovers. As you step inside, you're greeted by friendly faces, including the owner Shae, who adds to the welcoming vibe. The menu features mouthwatering options like the Jordan sandwich alongside freshly baked cookies and delectable raspberry pie that are sure to satisfy your sweet tooth.
So I drive OTR, and I had a stop done in Osage Beach. I noticed a Cafe heading in and decided to stop in before I was done with my delivery. That little gem of a cafe was THE PAINT BOX CAFE. When I walked in it was a cozy, laid-back place. I talked to Shae(the owner) and another cool young lady, and they were very pleasant. I ordered the Jordan sandwich, cookies, and a slice of some type of raspberry pie. The pie and cookies were super fresh and delicious. My sandwich was flavorful and tasty. The avocado sauce that came with it was absolutely delicious. Now, I will say, the bread it came on was a bit much. So it took away from your focus on how good the sandwich really is. I think half of the recipe for the bread for the sandwich would be plenty. The bread itself was SUPER FRESH and soft itself, which gave me AN AWESOME IDEA! Why not add another item to the menu(biscuits and gravy) for a breakfast item! Come up with an awesome recipe for the sausage gravy and add the thick, soft bread with it! I promise you, it would be a hit! In closing, this was a pretty cool cafe to stop and get something to eat. I took some pictures for your enjoyment. Go by and check Shae and her crew out and support your local small business! Tell em BigBen from STL sent you! Cheers!!

A great place for a weekday brunch or lunch. Sandwiches and salads are a work of art with a taste to match. The citrus water is also very refreshing. The inside is unique and cozy. The owner is super nice and helpful. We stop here every November during vacation.

The chicken salad is outstanding. Lots of chicken and very little celery (which I don’t like) Top it off with carrot cake and you’ll be very satisfied

We stopped by twice while vacationing at Margarittaville. It was so nice to get a break from the fried food/bar food to eat a delicious and fresh lunch right down the road. The cookies were amazing too! The atmosphere was perfectly eclectic and welcoming. Definitely recommend!

So good! Like going to that grandmother's house that knows how to cook! Repurposed vibe that's tastefully decorated with a relaxing atmosphere. Great people too. I'm tempted to sat don't get the carrot cake so there's more for me! But it's all amazing! And so happy to support a small local business! Couldn't wait to eat. So the picture is of my empty plate.

Room was clean. Breakfast was slim Pickens but they did have it. The only thing was the coffee pot in the room didn't work.

So me and my husband have been coming to this hotel for the past few years and this visit has been the worst of all visits. I'll start by saying the employees were great. But the hotel seems to have been given up on by owners. So last visit the hot tub was down and was told it was being worked on. Year and a half later and the hot tub was still down and disgusting looking. The pool area was just horrible. There was black mold on the wall behind the hot tub and around the one and only fan running on the wall. The paint is literally falling off the walls. Vent for air that filters the room was rusted, along with the hand placement on the door and window frame of outer door heading into the lobby. The vending machine was basically empty. The night we showed up a family was trying to purchase a soda and the little girl came to tell the guy at front desk and was told it was out and would be stocked the following day. No money refunded to the family for the money put in the machine. So move on to the next morning. The orange juice and apple juice was empty and no sign on machine to tell otherwise. No yogurt that was a normal available thing. Less than a quarter gallon on milk for guest. Second morning no waffle mix. No meat for breakfast like the previous morning and still no juice. Butter was frozen that was suppose to be for toast and biscuits even putting on hot food it didn't melt. People let the lady doing breakfast know and she filled biscuits and gravy and that was it. The gutters were coming off the building that everytime the wind blew it sounded like someone was firing a gun. Beds were so high I could barely get in bed and it was supposedly for handicap accessible. No sure what is going on but this place has given up.

Reserved a King Room, when we got to our room, the AC was on but not working, gave it a couple hours and still not cooling. Called Front Desk and reported issue, he came right up to our room and confirmed AC was not working. Did not have another King room available so we had to take a Queen room! Floors in both rooms were laminate flooring and dirty. Don't know how long since they were mopped. They tried to hide odor in hallway with fragrance. Could not cancel reservation for two nights because after checking in, was after the 24hr prior notice clause. Pool needed to be vacuumed as debris on bottom, water was not clear and not even a hint of chlorine smell to the water. Hot Tub was out of service and water in bottom was green. Set used towels and wash cloths outside room door as told, in the morning, had to go to Front Desk at 7:30pm to get fresh towels and wash cloths as Housekeeping did not replace them as requested.

If I could I would of given no stars... I've stayed here on multiple occasions just to take my children swimming in the winter in their indoor pool. I called ahead of time to confirm it was open and they told me yes, upon arrival and taking the time to get my little ones ready for the pool we arrived to said pool and the lights were out. My fiance went and asked if they could please turn them on and he was told there was no more lighting which is not how it was before.. the pool was horribly cold to the point my children would not get in no matter what I tried. I do believe this hotel was only looking for the money in their pocket and knew that their pool was not up to par. As a local that once loved this hotel I would strongly suggest taking your business elsewhere.
Cerise M — Google review
We always stay in this hotel every year but i will never stay in this hotel again. They don't want to fix the hot tub. Hot tub was not working. Their was mold on the walls it was gross. The pool turned 1 of my kids hair green. I went and asked for more towels the next day and that guy at the desk was kind of mean and act like he was not gonna give me more towels the guy gave me a dirty look. They should tell people that the hot tub is not working when we checked in. The pool was cold it was not heated. I will be finding another hotel with a working hot tub. My daughter cut her leg on a chair by the pool and it was bleeding.
Kj M — Google review
They advertise on hotels.com that if you book with them, it is “fully refundable.” It shows it right at the top of their listing with a big green check mark. I had to cancel my reservation because weather issues caused my flights to be delayed, meaning making my connection to get there impossible. Instead of giving me the full refund that they advertise, they would only refund half of the cost. I understand they aren’t responsible for the weather issues that kept me from getting out there, but if they advertise that reservations are “fully refundable,” they should honor that. That was the main reason I booked with them because I knew weather issues were a possibility for my trip. Nothing in the policies section of their hotel.com listing indicates there are exceptions to their “fully refundable” policy, at least not at the time of my booking.

First of all the staff was super friendly. But.. the breakfast I wish had eggs, as there were no choices for gluten free guest. The orange and apple juice were both out , as well as the vending/soda machine. Our second day there they didn’t even serve breakfast and the coffee was cold as ice. The hot tub was out of service and the pool area had a light that flashed non stop, so due to medical issue we did not use it. We enjoyed the size of the rooms but when you’d walk certain places (especially the bathroom) it felt like the floor was about to fall through. Also HK, it doesn’t take but a second to change the toilet paper. I would not stay here again , as I can find something that has the amenities that are actually advertised and floors not trying to fall through on me ( I only weigh 120lbs lol).
Dawn — Google review
Drive is rough, but the rooms were pretty clean, bathroom smelled like cigarette smoke and the door didn't shut. Night clerk was super nice and helpful. Morning service seemed a bit agitated people wanted orange juice. But I'd still go back.

What a wonderful store! Well run, clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. What a great selection! There aren’t many stores that both kids and parents both enjoy so much - there really is something for everyone. It is clear that the owners are very involved and take great personal care to ensure both the inventory and the environment is way above average. Stop in and you won’t be disappointed!

Stuff is really cute but the lady checking us out was not very kind. My kids (18&25) were getting Jelly Belly's from the dispenser and one was out. They thought they were stuck (I guess a part of it is a display). I told her about it and she snaps at me saying that's because they have to get them for them. OK Miss snappy there is no visual sign stating this. Felt like she was judging us like we were some delinquent kids. I'm 43 yrs old!!

By far the best shop at the Lake! I'm a repeat customer-I bought interesting LOZ maps and decor, coolest t-shirts, incredible chocolate selection, humorous personal items, kitchen and food stuff, kids toys. Here's the cutest pumpkin I've ever seen. Quality stuff priced right!

Gotta take your kids here and get some candy! We go every time we are down. They have everything from old fashioned items to fudge. Gotta try their "not sure what to call it" chocolate bark and their chocolate covered orange peels.. yum!
Derrick R — Google review
Our family visits the Ozarks every year. Haven’t been to this shop yet until today. Brought the entire family. Not a welcoming store. Walked past a number of different employees throughout different parts of the store; we weren’t greeted or acknowledged. Our experience was similar to what other negative reviewers have noted. We own multiple businesses, including retail stores, and love supporting small business. If you want to compete with bigger stores like Ozarkland with the same items and lower prices, you need to set yourself apart. Customer service goes a long way. We chose not to purchase anything here.
Kelly K — Google review
We have been going to the Lake for many years, and this is one place that we always visit. The staff is always friendly and nice. The fudge and sweet goodies are some of best.
Kathy S — Google review
We have been to the Ozarks for so long, we still call the gift/fudge shop "Ozark Maid." Great gifts from unique to typical Lake gear. Well displayed. The fudge is terribly good and they will let you sample! There is also a crazy good collection of hot sauces, salsas, jams, jellies, etc. You'll also like their collection of stainless steel drinkware and nifty gifts for kids. It's never too early to find a unique gift for Christmas or a future birthday. Also, this is part of a set of stores that has weathered the test of time. Crazy good boutique clothing in several stores. You'll also find tremendous footwear at Blair's and you'll also find stores with antiques, collectibles, trendy gifts, jewelry, big home decor clocks, etc. Park once and shop the whole complex. It's bigger than you think and each store has their own unique style.

Had an awesome dinner and drinks with a birthday discount and tequila shot. The service was great but I didn’t get her name. She recommended the molcajete and it was unbelievable in flavor and the amount of food that was served. All 4 meats, cactus, onions and more. Highly recommend trying this !

Literally our number one, go to place to eat. Today, I had the Beer Battered fish (recommended by Elizabeth) which was on point and why the fish is in not in the picture, so fresh and crispy, couldn’t chance it flopping off the plate, vegetables and rice were perfectly prepared and taste amazing. The wife ordered A la carte, which never disappoints as well. Our waitress was professional, personable, great communicator with great energy, and looking forward to next visit and hope you’re on duty. Consistent atmosphere, food and positive, professional and energetic staff!!!! 19AUG2025: Ordered Takeout. Cannot stay away from Mama Citas. From the moment you walk through the doors, you’re greeted with genuine and professional courtesies; providing a warm, welcoming feel. Then it continues with casual, no rush conversation ensuring the customers feel at home. Angie, thank you for being at work today!! Could not have asked for a better Server/ Bartender, but more than that, truly a great human being!!! Such a pleasure as always and may many of your days be bright as you made mine and usually ours, when accompanied by my wife. Once again, Thank you Elizebeth for making a great lunch even greater!!

The food was decent, not great. Typical Americanized Mexican food. Service was horrible. Our waitress obviously hated her job. We still chose to leave a 20% cash tip on the table. However, we were charged another 20% gratuity on top of that after cashing out. I could call and complain, but it's not worth the couple of dollars. We just won't return. Lesson learned... The food was good but the service was horrible and they weren't even busy. It was around 4:30 during happy hour. The waitress never came back to see how my food was or offer drink refills or another margarita? I had to ask another waitress for my to-go container and then my waitress finally came and gave me my ticket.

Sergio's Taqueria is a delightful gem for anyone craving authentic Mexican cuisine. Diners rave about the generous portions, like the special burrito that could easily fill a platter! Fantastic quality at a very reasonable price. The chicken tacos I got were fresh and tasty. Meal was delivered 5 minutes after I placed my order, and I was able to be in and out of the establishment within 15 minutes.

4.5 is the current rating at the time of this review. We went inside and ordered our food to go. Once inside the restaurant, you’ll see it’s colorful and inviting. There are many vibrant depictions of cultural life everywhere. We placed our order with the man behind the front counter and he said we could wait the 10-15 minutes at the bar. We saddled up to the bar expecting one of the 2 attendees would ask us if we’d like a drink - neither did during the time we waited. We were told our order was ready by the man who took our order, he came and let us know. The food looks appealing. It tasted good. The tacos, specifically the Al Pastor, are a little small, but we’re fine by me since I also ordered rice and beans. The fajitas serving was nice and a lot, but were supposed to include shrimp, but was left out. All in all the food ranked a good average ranking. I would return here and try something different, but probably not sit at the bar 😉

It’s been a while since I’ve eaten here so it was nice to walk in to a bit of a facelift on the facility. This place is newer so it really didn’t need much but they got all new tables and some chairs and a bit of new decor. I noticed a few new faces here too. I love the speedy service and the food is always very good. I think they’ve changed up their chips but I still enjoyed them. I ordered the taco salad and my husband ordered chicken. Both were delicious. Our server was punctual and kept on drinks (a big deal to my husband).
