Where to eat: the 50 best restaurants in Dothan

The atmosphere comes close to a basement… not every welcoming interior. The steak selection is small. But my biggest surprise: this is the only steakhouse I know, where sirloin is a thick steak and filet mignon is flat (?!) My Sirloin was also too chewy (medium)

We stopped here for dinner a few nights ago. My wife had the chopped steak burger. I had a steak and baked potato. The sides were good. My wife enjoyed the burger. The steak, It was cooked well, had an ok flavor. Nothing great. I have paid less for better. If they would use a quality meat like Jenkins Farm dry aged Angus Beef out of FL, or another of similar quality, you wouldn't find a seat in the house. The service was great. The Atmosphere is ok, but has that 90s dimmed light vibe Goin on still. Not the coolest dining rooms by far. I assume it looks similar now as it did when smoking was still allowed while dining here. 😆

Great local spot with solid food and a laid-back vibe. My girlfriend and I had a great time here! The steak was flavorful, the sides were on point, and you could tell everything was made fresh. Even though we had to wait about 20–30 minutes for a table, the line moved steadily, and the staff stayed friendly throughout. The service was consistent, and we appreciated how attentive the team was once we were seated. The atmosphere had a classic steakhouse charm—nothing too fancy, but comfortable and welcoming. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area and have a little time to spare. We’ll be back!

This is a great experience! Great atmoshpere to catch up with friends and family. The steak was AWESOME and the hand cut fries are worth cooking back for by themselves. But the bread roles are in a league by themselves. The staff was very friendly. You should go here for a great meal.

My wife and I went Saturday (10/25/25) with a couple of friends. It’s been a while since my wife and I have ate here, it wasn’t that good then. Ours friends invited us to go with them Saturday. I ordered the 14oz ribeye cooked medium. Mine came out pretty close to right. My wife ordered the filet mignon killed twice (well well done). lol! Hers was right. Our friends ordered the 14oz ribeye cooked medium and the filet mignon cooked medium. His came out well done. Hers came out rare. He sent his back she sent hers back TWICE! They finally got theirs back and it was close to right. We will not be going back. This place used to be a very good steak house and stayed packed. They weren’t that busy and they sucked.

Wife and I have driven by here many times since we moved to the area. We decided to give it a try. Both steaks were over done. We ordered ,medium they were well done with no pink left. Her baked potato was cold in the middle. My fries could have used a little more time in the fryer. They were limp. We had high hopes and left underwhelmed.

Basic steakhouse. Small menu but that's fine. Steak was flavorful and cooked properly. Attentive waitress. Simple furnishings and decor but it's a good place to get a steak dinner at an affordable price for a family.

Hey Dothan! If you haven’t eaten here yet, you’re missing out on the best Mexican food in town! I can’t figure out why this restaurant wasn’t more crowded on a Friday night than it was. It may the be unassuming location, off the beaten path that doesn’t bring in the traffic, I don’t know. But the food was delicious, presentation was on point, service was friendly and fast and the ambiance is fabulous- nice music, white linen table covers, pleasant decor. The chocolate gooey cake is amazing, too! Give it a try and you won’t be disappointed!

It has been a while since I visited but food is always fresh and staff is friendly. Ordered Santa Fe enchiladas and appetizer of queso blanco.

Very impressed with this cafe! We were traveling and needed a place to stop with a patio so we could dine with our puppy and they were very accommodating! I had the chicken tacos with no cheese or dairy and they were HUGE and flavorful! My husband had the enchiladas verdes and he said they weren’t spicy but very very good! We also shared a frozen margarita and it was very tasty! I would highly recommend this super tasty spot!

Amazing staff and atmosphere abounds. This isn’t typical Mexican food either. Super fresh and flavourful care is evident in each dish. The play of spice and citrus is so well done. Will be back!

This is my first experience here and wasn't quite sure what to expect but the minute I walked through the door I realized this is a very nice and formal; even romantic dining. We were greeted with a nice smile and friendly service. Already I'm impressed and haven't hardly gotten seated yet. I started with Guacamole Salad and went with the Mahi Mahi fish tacos with the black beans and the lime cilantro rice to round off my meal. I am so glad I decided to give this place a try as the food here along with the presentation of my meal was quite impressive and delicious. I highly recommend giving this place a try.

California style, the fish tacos are the best I ha e ever had. This is the only restaurant that offers black bean and they are the full of flavor. I've never had a bad meal and the best service.

Visited at lunchtime. You have to try the guacamole, it is fantastic. I had the combo, which includes a quesadilla, soup and salad. Husband had burrito and it was a huge portion. Total cost was around $34, which to us is expensive for lunch, but it is very filling without leaving you miserably full. I will definitely eat here again and will try to go for dinner next time for an expanded menu. Friendly staff made the experience welcoming.

We made a reservation in advance, and everything from that point forward was seamless. A great pairing of flavor and atmosphere. The feel of up scale dining but with a relaxed vibe. The courtyard is great to have brunch in, and the staff is amazing. You'll fill up on the meal, but don't forget a desert togo!

This place is top notch! The bartender made me a homemade drink that was beyond delightful, the snapper was top 5 food I have ever eaten, and the desert which was beyond amazing. Definitely make this a stop! **David is amazing and he needs a raise!

It’s dinner time. You’re hungry, and you want to enjoy a delicious dinner in a cozy setting and you want to be taken care of. KBC is the place! I knew I wanted to try the Kelsey margaritas and it was perfectly spicy. Alan B was my server and suggested bulgogi nachos- with the house made kimchi- for a starter. I had the Uncle Bo burger with fried okra for my main dish. Cookie for dessert-cornflake chocolate chip. Try KBC for yourself- you’ll love it here. This is my third visit to Dothan AND my third visit to KBC. If you’re in Dothan, you need to try KBC! Apologies for forgetting a photo of the burger- I was so excited to try it I forgot to take a photo! Love Dothan!

My daughter chose this for a stop on wedding dress shopping day. Food was good and the service was great. We had a small issue with the orange juice but they took care of it quickly and even removed it from the bill. Will visit again when we come though for brunch.

Today was our first visit. Both our meals were very good. The service is awesome. The menu is not overwhelming, but had something for everyone. Very inviting people and place. The interior feels modern, but, is made up of the original character the old building brings, mixed with nicely picked vintage, commercial, and consumer oriented, details from different periods. There is a bar as well as table service.

My Parents are visiting from NY and my husband and I were excited to bring them to this place as the ambiance strikes a perfect balance between casual and refined. The appetizer selection was alright, though some dishes felt a little bland and could use a flavor boost. While the steak frites was cooked to the customers desired doneness, presentation has appealing appearance and the dish left much to be desired, with the steak tasting vapid and needing a significant boost of seasoning. The steak proved to be remarkably uninspiring, lacking the expected depth of flavor and offering little in the way of flavor. The service is attentive and professional. The dishes are beautifully presented, showcasing a commitment to culinary artistry-elevating our dining experience.

The food was good. It would have been better with more seasoning, especially the Chicken Marsala. It was very bland. The asparagus was delicious. Next time I will try the pizza since this is their specialty. The atmosphere was nice for a date night.

This is a quaint family place that can easily seat 60. Beautiful atmosphere. Soft lighting, great seating and tables. Wood fire pizza grills, pasta, traditional pizzas, design your own pizzas, great appetizers, and salads. Really attentive customer service. We had pizza this time but when we come back we'll try the pastas. The pizza was CRAZY DELICIOUS!!! Highly recommend this wonderful little restaurant!!!

As a visitor to the city, I found this restaurant on a Google map search. The atmosphere was quaint and homely. The food (small veggie pizza and spinach salad) was great. Especially the salad. The most impressive of all was the great service. The service was warm, inviting, and sincerely smiling every time she came to check on me. I highly recommend Fire Stone Wood Fired Grill for a nice lunch break.

They do not have a gluten-free menu, but they are knowledgeable about gluten and cross-contamination and are able to adapt many items on their menu to suit. I had the shrimp & grits and it was phenomenal. My partner went with the pork chops and thought they were perfect. Our server was pleasant, courteous, and knowledgeable about the menu. Service was prompt. The atmosphere was a little bare bones/stark/cold, but it was fine.

Courtney is a fantastic server. The sauce for the spaghetti is classic and the pasta is handmade. We “made our own pizza” with black figs, artichokes, & goat cheese….so, so good! As a vegetarian, I approve! Prices are high, but I guess that’s inflation & good quality ingredients.

Traveling through the area with my 5 year old… I searched for Vegan food near me - google recommended this restaurant. It was such a strange experience. The staff seemed annoyed at having to work, and more interested in socializing among themselves than being bothered by a customer. Their lunch menu was printed on regular paper, which I found a bit lacking for the price point. They did not, in fact, have vegan options. Vegetarian and gluten free yes, vegan no. So I opted for a salad and some pasta with marinara sauce. I also ordered some garlic knots. My 5 year old got some spaghetti from the kids menu. When my food arrived, I was absolutely stunned at how delicious it was!!! Truly mind blown! I did have to chase down the server and interrupt her social time after waiting like 10 minutes wondering if I would ever get my salad. She finally brought it about 5 minutes later. It was also absolutely delicious! My garlic knots came last and they were literally black on top. Not sure if that’s how they were supposed to be??? But I pulled off the black parts and they were also freaking phenomenal! Even burnt! Some of the best food I’ve ever had lol. My bill was about $53 for just myself and my child. At that price it does seem like the staff would be a bit more professional… but the food was so good it’s like maybe I was just lucky to eat there at all and they know it??? I dunno haha. Would I recommend? Absolutely. Just don’t expect 5 star service lol

Staff were nice. Cooks use fresh herbs from their garden. The pizza was good, I would go again but I would try something else because although good it’s not my favorite.

This was a recommendation from a local bartender as we were looking for good Asian cuisine. Great selection on the menu if noodle and pad Thai dishes. We both had the Tomka Gai soup with chicken to start. Our main dishes were delicious i opted for chicken and my spouse went for shrimp. Very clean place with ample parking.

The restaurant is very clean & very well maintained. Padthai was soooo good. As Thai here, I approved that it tastes like the one you can get in Bangkok. Servers were very nice. We are definitely going to eat here again. 👍🏻

The crabmeat fried rice was a good culinary experience I had since I moved here in Alabama. We tried the crab fried rice and crispy chicken. The fried rice was off the charts—loaded with big, sweet lumps of crabmeat that tasted so fresh. The rice itself was perfectly seasoned and didn't have that heavy, greasy feeling some fried rice can have. And the volcano chicken? Let's just say it lived up to its name. The skin was shatteringly crisp, and the chicken inside was super juicy. It was the perfect savory crunch to go with the fragrant rice. Panning on my next visit to try the rest of the menu.

My mom and I use to come here when I head to go to the dentist near by n my mom was in her 80s n never had had Asian foods, so I convinced her to go to this beautiful restaurant and I was not let down in any form or shape. My mom who was a hard core southern cook from scratch was in love with Thai food at this particular location. The food is superb n the presentation was out of this world fabulous. My mom couldn’t stop talking about the taste of the food but also how beautifully prepared ur was each n every time. She has since passed way in 2023 and I am here with my 15 ur old grand daughter remembering a time with my mom. Oh how I miss you mom so very much. A great place if you’re looking for a nice and quiet place to eat. The servers were all very welcoming and attentive. Lots of vegetarian options too! I ordered the fried tofu to start and the salt and pepper tofu (there’s a modification from the shrimp version of the entree). The fried tofu was absolutely delicious and came out with a really good looking presentation. My entree was absolutely delicious and fresh. Loved every moment of my meal. Highly recommend.

I used to live in this area 20 years ago and there honestly wasn't much variety in restaurants back then, specifically of international cuisines. Coming back to visit the Dothan area and discovering more eclectic options was a welcome surprise, specifically with Thai House of Dothan! I LOVE Thai food and was pleasantly surprised by this place. It is actually authentic Thai, including the spice levels, which usually tend to water flavor down to match the local palette...but not here! I had the Panang Curry, Tom Yum soup, and Spicy Chicken Triangles (AMAZING), which were all very tasty. The staff was also very pleasant and it was decorated quite nicely. I definitely recommend you check out Thai House of Dothan!

Had the spicy chicken volcano. I’ve had lots of Thai—lots of food—all over the US. This was one of the best meals I’ve ever had.

My husband and I went on a sat nite. That was our first mistake. My advice is to go before 7 pm. we waited an hour to get seated. As she took our drink order, we went ahead and ordered our food at the same time. It was another hour. Before it was ready. I ordered a med well steak and got a medium rare steak. They had to take it back and cook it again and it was still not right. My husband blackened potatoes were hard because they were not done. As busy as they are and as much money as they make u would think they could do more with the place, like clean the vents on the ceiling, they are black, and everything is outdated. We had a great little waitress who did all she could to get us our food and get it right, and we tipped her good. But the food was bad. I took my steak home and tried to recook it because when u pay 31 for a steak, u want it to be edible. It was tough, and I was over it. We were there for 2 and half hours, and I had to take my home and try to recook it. The waitress was great, but they were building and food tucked.

We were on a mini getaway and searched for a nearby seafood spot with good reviews. Saw the hype and decided to give this place a try for dinner. My husband and I both ordered the Seafood Platter with cheese grits, which came with fried catfish, shrimp, oysters, scallops, and stuffed crab. The pro: The restaurant was clean, and we felt welcomed right away. Our server Brittany was a total sweetheart. She was super attentive, polite, and quick. She’s honestly the reason this review got two stars instead of one. The con: Unfortunately, the food just didn’t do it for either of us. Everything lacked seasoning. The crab cake and oysters were bland and mushy. Even the tartar sauce had no flavor; which is wild. The catfish was okay, and the scallops and shrimp were passable, but only with cocktail sauce to help them out. Overall, it just wasn’t for me. I know a lot of folks love this spot, and that’s cool, but we definitely won’t be back.

Food was okay. Service was excellent. The place was packed, and the parking lot could use some maintenance. Salad bar is way over hyped and was perhaps the most disappointing part of the evening. My steak was cooked well, but my wife's shrimp were a little under cooked, and overall everything was a little on the bland side. Could get a better tasting meal for much less at many other restaurants in Dothan.

Decided to stop here for dinner with the family just to try out a different spot than our normal go to’s. Saw Hunts had great reviews so wanted to give them a shot. Service was mid— energy was “off” (I still tipped good) — food was okay. Appetizer portions are huge we loved the fried crab claws and onion rings. The appetizers were honestly the best thing we had. Note: When they bring the entrees out, you better have your table clear or grow a third arm because they’ll practically throw the food at you. Tables are already small— so instead of the waitress asking could she take anything off the table to give you more space she just crammed it all on the table— we almost had to put food in our lap. 😬 We won’t be back. Wayyyyyy better spots in Dothan.

Definitely outdated, but the cheese rolls were a great start but the food took forever. My children were falling asleep at the table How do you serve fried shrimp to children with the tail still on a choking hazard is what that is. and we ordered a side salad and these bowls were pitiful. Yes you got to choose what you wanted on there from a bar, but it’s barely bigger than a monkey dish/a side dish bowl. And just a suggestion on the Cajun oysters not so much Cajun seasoning we want to taste it, but not choke on it. My Mom said the potato was barely cooked enough for the cheese and butter to melt.

What a fantastic place for a top-notch meal!!! The service was absolutely amazing. We were even asked if we had a favorite server. I got the ribeye and shrimp. It was cooked to perfection, and the shrimp utterlytasted! They left pitchers of tea for us to refill our drinks as needed. AND, the dinner rolls had a nice little cheesy surprise. Everything we were told about Hunts was spot on. Dine here, you will not be disappointed.

Such great food! Very packed for a Tuesday evening also. Always a good sign. Have to say, it's was a top 3 best steak I've ever had! Full of flavor and tender! Definitely saved for future stops. *Update* We wanted a healthy steak before heading out and we were NOT disappointed. 😍 We did learn these awesome rolls were supposed to be available for each meal and that we got jipped last night. But they're soooo worth the wait!

I thoroughly enjoyed the meals, however some of the stuff was either under or overcooked. The atmosphere as well as the waitress more than made up for it though, and the ambiance was excellent as well. This was a very pleasant date night experience and I would recommend it again.

We were visiting Dothan this week and one of the most recommended restaurants was just down the road from our hotel. You can tell this place had been loved for generations, but could really use an update. The rolls were good, but the napkin served with them was dirty....ok, things happen. My salad plate felt dirty underneath....ok yea. Then my plate came out looking yuck. My steak was medium rare instead of medium so it was hard for me to finish. I would not recommend at this state.

First visit to Dothan and this restaurant is definitely a local gem. The food was fantastic. I had the crab claws, which were fried perfectly with just the right amount of seasoning. The prime rib is oven seared to perfection. I've asked many places for a medium rare steak and often it's not. This is one of the few times it was done right🤌🏾 The service was phenomenal. Kristin was engaging, knew the menu really well, and made excellent suggestions. She really elevated the experience. Definitely ask for her if you visit. She'll make sure you won't be disappointed with your meal or your time eating here. This is going to be my go to spot any time I visit. Would highly recommend.

My husband and I received several recommendations to this restaurant. Therefore, we decided to have our anniversary dinner here. BIG MISTAKE. We were seated quickly, as they were not overly busy, but when greeted by the waitress, in the laziest costume ever shirt, she stated that she was too old to be working and needed a millionaire boyfriend. It took 10 minutes just to get a drink, sweet tea. I ordered the filet and my husband ordered the prime rib. I like my steak well done, it was charred on the outside and very pink inside. We asked for a'ju and the server acted like we didn't know what a'ju was and damn near denied it to me. After bringing out food, the waitress disappeared. We had to go find our own drinks and a box for the dog food we left there with. The staff is very rude and the food is awful. We will not be returning to pay over $150 for some dog food.

Anniversary dinner night. Seated quickly. Waitress wasn't very polite or attentive. Had to ask for drinks. Wife had filet, wasn't even close to right doneness. Added grilled grouper to order and was the blandest, flavorless fish. Waitress noticed her steak was wrong, mentioned she would say something to the cook about it and get onto them. Note our bill for two people was 153 bucks. She would sit over in a booth near kitchen area as we had empty drinks. Took forever for anything. We watched parties of 4 come and go at the table next to us. Only wished we had that Waitress. My wife likes no pink for her steak doneness, so we requested a side of a' ju with her steak, knowing it could be dry. The Waitress acted like it was the end of the world. She says that comes with the prime rib, we already know this, and had to re-state we wanted a side of a' ju with her steak. After waiting on drinks I went to bar to get an adult beverage for us to ease the experience hoping it would get better, I waited so long at the bar, my wife was done with her salad and food was on its way out when I returned. The mixer was absolutely clueless and had to Google how to make our drinks which were far from even close, just terrible. It seemed as if the wait staff was from the local nursing home. We don't mind paying a premium to dine out, although for these prices, food and service should be on point. Took our steaks home to the dogs. We went to opening night at Peanut festival and would have rather dined there. Don't waste your hard earned money here. Will not return.

Well. I'm gonna be very honest..for the price they need to step it up a notch.. my steak was good but the baked potato was undercooked and very dry.. the portion size for my sons meal was pretty small for a 29$ plate. And the chicken Parmesan was chicken tenders

Every beverage on our flight was Perfect! Music by Tommy Shilds was memorable. As the crowd thinned out, Tommy bought his guitar fireside to finish the last set and visit with remaining guest - so enjoyable. The Brewmaster was on sight visiting with guests - Great guy, very personable, true passion for the craft. Plenty of seating inside and outside. Onsight food service and friendly staff. Definitely worth checking out! If you have camper, call the Brewery and reserve one of there limited spaces.

Second visit to Folklore. They are growing! More beers, more options for eats. Nice folks, they care about your experience and every person we dealt with was really nice. There's a disc golf basket and great outdoor seating. We'll be back!

Fantastic staff. Beer is absolutely incredible. So many types and varieties. I'm not a beer drinker but they had a selser called grape pop. OMG, you could get in serious trouble with that. Tastes like fanta. Monday through Wednesday they have bar food which is okay but not great. Full kitchen on the weekends and the menu looks great. They do a good keg business. Lots of locals drop by for a glass. Super dog friendly. We will definitely be back. Big shout out to Uncle Kenny for making us feel so welcome.

Great local Brewery with a selection of all your basic beers: blonde, pilsner, ipa, Porter, and Mead. I'm not a big fan of mead, so I can't tell you much other than it's sweet and has higher alcohol. They brew a good basic beer here, but really need to start brewing a hazy! Occasionally they mix their beers for a seasonal selection, and once in awhile have a wild hair Brew. Good out of the city, comfortable outdoor sitting place. Have music and games and many other things too. Another year has gone by, and they are still just as good as they were when they opened over 10 years ago. Each year they add something more to their outdoor area and continue to make it a nice place to hang out. In this day of everything going up 30%, their beers are still affordable. UPDATE!! They finally have a Hazy!! And it is A bad ass!!! Super tasty, hoppy (but not heavy), and hi ABV 7.7%!! Hopefully they will come out with a lower ABV so I can drink more than just one, maybe two! LOL... UPDATE #3, they had a milder hazy for a while and it too was delicious, hopefully one of them will become a regular.UPDATE#5: the food area has expanded its menu and is really good

Great beer, prices are very fair! Darn I forgot to take pictures of the food, it was good. Best of all it's a harvest host. We stayed the night in our 5th wheel $15 for electric. Quiet, very gracious host. Definitely recommend stopping by for some food and refreshments! There is even a great outdoor space for adults and the kids. Dogs are welcome. A terrific experience all around!!!!

I stopped in at Richie B’s for just a slice of cheese pizza and one of their pickles, and I left already looking forward to my next visit. The pizza was exactly what you’d hope for in a true New York-style slice - huge, perfectly cheesy, and with that thin, flavorful crust you can only get when it’s done right. The pickle was crisp, tangy, and refreshing, making it the perfect side. But what really makes Richie B’s stand out is the experience beyond the food. The owner himself came over to chat, and you can tell he genuinely cares about every guest who walks through the door. He didn’t just say hello — he made real conversation, shared a bit about the place, and made me feel like more than just another customer. That kind of friendliness and personal touch is rare these days and goes a long way in making you want to come back. The restaurant has a warm, welcoming vibe, with fun memorabilia on the walls that adds to the character and makes it feel unique. Between the authentic food, the incredible portion sizes, and the owner’s hospitality, Richie B’s is an easy five stars. Dothan is lucky to have a spot like this.

We ordered the Philly cheesesteak and onion rings. Everything was so good, the sauce with the sandwich made it even better (it was great even without the sauce). The owner and all of the staff were so kind and helpful. Seriously if you haven’t been here yet, you’ve gotta go.

Richie has the absolute best pizza in between Dothan and PCB. I go here it take my daughter or friends they're every time I'm in Dothan. I'd drive up from PC just for that pizza. Best you're going to get. The size, the toppings, the crust... You can't beat it. Well worth the money and for the size there's nothing like it. Thank you Richie!

Never heard of Richie B till he brought his truck to Ozark Collision Center a couple months ago. Stopped by today to pu 3 slices, (2 meat combos and 1 white with ricotta). Wife got her slice and wanted another, so she got mine. Her thoughts about the meat combo slice? "Delicious, absolutely delicious." My son got the white slice with ricotta and he said it was "Hellagood." So I had to go back and get my slice, cheese since meat combo was sold out, and it was fantastic. Thanks for the great pizza Richie B!

Saying Richie's Pizza is New York Style is not a claim, but a statement. Despite normally being picky about pizza (Outside of NY or CT), I was extremely impressed by the quality and Richie's passion. We had a great experience that we will never forget!

Yes it's true, what people have told me, this establishment definitely has The Best Pizza in Dothan. This stand alone building across from Home Depot is a charming yet unassertive structure yet inside it's the perfect Pizza Restaurant. The menu is fantastic. Grinders and wraps looked delicious. Pizza can be ordered by the slice or pie. I ordered 2 slices. They were huge, actually each slice the size of 2 normal ones. Thin crust, very cheesy, New York Style which was fantastic. Service is very friendly and quick. Food is delivered to your table. A special warning...food is gone by 1 p.m. Each Pizza is hand made but only so many are prepared each day. So if you're thinking of ordering a whole pie, it must be ordered and picked up before noon. There's usually a line out the door. I got there at 11:00 as the place was beginning to fill. Because of road construction take care driving in. I was told the company also has a food truck and caters. Definitely returning.

Richy B is always front and center, taking orders and serving guest. large New York stile slices or whole pizza. Other items are offered as well. I love the white pizza.

The service was fantastic. To be honest four of use got different menu items. My ribeye was good but not work the cost and mostly burnt. The Brussel sprouts were 🔥 fire, absolutely delicious. The large appetizer platter was basically salt. Everything was so salty. The highlight of the evening was the speak easy downstairs. I’ll go back for the speak easy and have a drink but I will not go back to eat dinner. Damn, so much salt! 🤮

Love the atmosphere and design of the restaurant and building. Food was good; however, came out staggered and not in the right order, not good. Service was not good in its totality. No reason to go into details. No need to return.

I have eaten at this establishment a few times and decided to try again for a friend’s engagement dinner. Not only was I disappointed in the service and food, I am appalled by how management has decided to respond to my party’s overall experience. We were a very reasonable party with very few requests (bread, water, napkins) however, any request made towards our server seemed like we were inconveniencing her. The overall experience was less than satisfactory, the food was cold and flavorless, and everyone in my party was in shock by the lack of accountability and effort. I was hoping to have a better experience after the renovations and reopening but that was not the case. The restaurant has a beautiful atmosphere and potential, but the lack of staff training and strategic communication in response to crisis will be their downfall.

We showed up right after they opened, luckily it was today and not a weekend, because we didnt have a reservation, thr atmosphere was excellent, and if youre into historical buildings like I am its awesome, the service was also excellent, checked on us just enough but not right as I shoved food in my face, the food was beyond what I was expecting, my wife was in love with the tuna, and the cocktails and wine pairings were perfect. Definitely recommend going there.

For my Birthday Bella's absolutely made it special. The food was AMAZING and so was the atmosphere. The piano playing in the background was just the right touch. Richard was our Service Attendant for the evening and his knowledge of the menue selections were notable. It was a memorable Birthday

We went for Bill's Birthday. The food was delicious, and our server was wonderful, caring and attentive. You can't beat Bella's filets. They are tender and cooked to perfection. The dining atmosphere is romantic and delightful. Fine dining in Dothan was delightful. Thanks again, Kari

If I could give a negative star, I would. When I say this was a terrible experience, I cannot describe it enough. From walking in the door it was a poor experience. Myself and friends were here to celebrate our friends engagement. We sat in the lobby for more than 30 minutes because we didn't have reservations, so you'd think the place was packed out. Once inside, there were many, many empty tables. Now time to describe our server, if t hats what you call her. She handed us a menu and asked if we wanted appetizers. We inquired about the menus as they had been significantly downsized since our previous visit. She explained they were concentrating on providing quality instead of quantity of items in the establishment. OK, so one would expect satiable food. OK so two people at our table place appetizer orders. Approximately an hour later they show up. At this point we finally get some water poured into our glasses. We remember last time having bread and oil, so we inquire and the server says, oh yall want some (wow). Next, we order our entrees. An hour later they began arriving. My salmon tasted as though, a box of salt had been shaken over it and let's not mention the roasted carrots, which were actually charred burnt and inedible. A forty dollar plate that was inedible. One person ordered the pasta with three meats which arrived cold and inedible because of it. Four persons ordered mashed potatoes as their side and all of them described them as cold like they came out of the fridge. The waiter never attempted to refill a cup and acted disturbed when she was asked to please get us napkins or to order another drink. I have never witnessed someone so disturbed by our existence. We are all very educated and well mannered individuals who only wanted to celebrate our friends. One member of the group requested a manager, some guy shows up and he began getting water and said he awaited to make things right. He took the plate of pasta to the kitchen and we thought he was getting a new prepared meal but no, he returns and she finds the shrimp she bit off right where she left it. They simply heated it up in the microwave and sprinkled cheese on top. This experience was despicable and nobody should ever go through what we sat through. We all typically give above the 20 percent tip, but we're automatically charged due to 5 or more in party. I will never return to this place and will suggest anyone who wants to be treated well not to as well. I don't know how they are in business.

I had the bacon cheeseburger which was good. The corn nuggets were amazing. Fries were not so good, cold and soggy. Service was good. Our waitresses checked on us often. We sat next to one of the half walls I. The middle - the edges were super dirty and the restaurant gave a dirty vibe.

I haven’t had Fatback’s since it opened so I stopped by today on a whim. I had the pepper jelly pulled pork sandwich with a side of potato’s and onions and it was enjoyable. Well cooked - I think it was a little dry, but nothing some sauce couldn’t fix. Besides that, it was an enjoyable lunch that I forgot how much I liked!

The wings were great! The pig on a cow is really good to. The service was fast and very pleasant! Out server was absolutely amazing. Jerah S was absolutely amazing. She is absolutely the sweetest! We will definitely be back next Saturday!

Due to the traffic congestion we picked this place. Our waitress was the sweetest. She was quick and kept our glasses filled. I had the bacon cheese burger and it was awesome. He had the Pork Tacos and they were ok. We both agreed that the dish should have came with 3 Tacos at least. We both had a side salad and they were delicious. I recommend it for sure.

Absolutely disgusting! This was our first time dining here and it will be the last! First let me say our server was very sweet and very helpful, probably the best part of the experience. We started off with the loaded nachos and fried mushrooms. The nachos had what looked and tasted like old reheated chopped pork on them. The put the pork and the cheese over the chips then heated them under a broiler so the cheese plastered all the chips together. Then they drizzled what was supposed to be sweet bbq sauce and sour cream that tasted rancid and spoiled over them and served it. Lets talk about the mushrooms, the crisp was perfect and I wanted to love them, but absolutely no seasoning at all, not a pinch of salt or seasoning whatsoever. Next my wife got the "pulled pork" sandwich with fries. The meat on that bun was so old and dry it literally had turned into hunks of hard un-chewable matter. Same with both of my kids sandwiches. It was literally so dry and old it was unedible. Then I got the pork platter, first let me say none of the pork was pulled, it was chopped and mangled into hunks. My portion of meat was cold and loaded with arteries, fat and gristle, and not a lick of flavor or seasoning. It was disgusting! The fries were the best thing all 4 of us had. With my platter I got potato salad and baked beans. The potato salad looked like a creamed plop of yellow mayonnaise, with no texture or an ounce of flavor. The baked beans were cold and looked and tasted like someone dumped them out of a can onto the dish and served them to me!! Nasty! 🤢 So, I let out server know about the issues, and instead of taking the uneaten food off of our ticket, the manager or owner lady whichever, gave me a measley $1.40 discount on my pork platter. A joke of a .70 cent discount on my kids meals and a pitiful $1 discount on my wife's meal and a $1 discount on the nachos. The nachos we did eat some, but our meals were not touched. What a sorry way to take care of a customer!!! I was robbed of $70 basically. How in the hell is this place still in business? I will never walk through the doors of this place ever again! Out of every single place we have eaten in Dothan, this is the worst experience we have ever, ever had!!!! How in the hell do you serve reheated old dry chopped up pork and expect people to eat that and pay their hard earned money for it!!!! You should be ashamed, and then when we havent touched the crap and we make it known that its no good, you you hand out a meager discount instead of taking it off my ticket and allowing us the opportunity to order something different? Terribile awful way of doing business!! Never again!!! I hope people of dothan have better expectations of what they spend their money on. If you honestly are ok with spending your money at an establishment, and what I just described above comes to your table, and you are ok with it, that is your choice but you should know there is better out there and you are not eating quality food for your money. So now we head home with a giant bag full of nasty food that we are not going to eat and honestly, Im not even sure if I want to feed it to my dogs. Harsh, yes but its the damn truth. Do better!!

Went in person to check it out and see what it was like , well , we were NOT IMPRESSED!! WE WERE NOT GREETED WHEN WE CAME IN !! WE DIDN'T KNOW TO SEAT OURSELVES ; there WASN'T a sign or anyone telling us any different. My youngest daughter and I walked to the bar to ask because we didn't know and I had to grab a menu. .... FINALLY , as we sat somewhere , we were noticed. We ordered and we REGRETTED THAT WE ORDERED ONCE FOOD ARRIVED. .... ONLY OK THING WAS THE FRIES. THAT'S SAD !!!! ..... OUR FOOD WASNT SEASONED / COOKED RIGHT , OUR FOOD WAS FATTY , UNDERCOOKED , AND OLD !! who the hell serves someone OLD , DRIED FOOD ( as if it was put in the FRIDGE & REHEATED MULTIPLE TIMES IN the MICROWAVE !! ) ?????? .... We spent a total of nearly $80 ( it was close to $75 , yet , receipt WONT SHOW YOU THAT , JUST THE DISCOUNTED PARTS ) , but even after complaining to our server , who did the "best" she could with her service , we ended up paying a few cents short of $70 !!!!!!!!!! ~ so overall , we WILL NOT BE RETURNING AND WE WERE NOT IMPRESSED ON OUR FIRST TIME THERE. So many BBQ places in the wiregrass yet not many that are worth the trip. Thankfully, Fatback's is worth the trip. They offer good drinks with a variety of different foods. A bit on the pricey side, but not more so than the other top BBQ places in the area. The shop has a real mom and pop feel to it and the servers are laid back and accommodating.

I needed somewhere to go to kill a little time before a training class and was reading where this was the best breakfast in town so I thought I would give it a try. I’ll admit, all I got was the biscuit and sausage gravy. It wasn’t what I was hoping the biscuits weren’t as good as I was hoping and the “sausage” gravy was just white gravy with sausage sprinkled on top. As for the restaurant, I loved the atmosphere and the service. It is the epitome of a southern diner. The waitress was great! I enjoyed just watching her interact with, what was obviously, the regulars. She treated everybody by name. If I lived here, I would be one. I also enjoyed the memorabilia and pictures scattered around the restaurant.

A friend told me about this place so I stopped by on my day off and WOW, what a treat! The service is great here and the restaurant is very clean. The food was delivered quickly and was far better than expected. If you are a local or simply passing through this is one of the best breakfasts in town.

Wonderful place for delicious breakfast! Friendly locals at other tables had great recommendations about what to order, and they were not wrong! I thoroughly enjoyed a perfectly fried egg, wonderfully, yet subtly, flavored cheese grits, crispy bacon, and hash browns that were akin to Little Bear’s porridge, as in, “just right”! My daughter raved about her bacon, egg, & cheese biscuit, and especially enjoyed an extra biscuit paired with apple butter. The service was on point, polite, and professional. A delightful experience all the way around! I will go back & take others with me! A real Dothan gem!

Stopped here for breakfast. The staff was very friendly. Our waitress waited on us right away. I ordered the two piece french toast. I did not care for it. It is made with plain white bread. My husband ordered three eggs, grits, bacon and raisin toast. We both drank coffee and our waitress made some tea that our cup stayed filled. Overall the food was fair. *The restrooms are outside of the building.*

The food is good and the quality of the food is good. The service is fantastic. The atmosphere is weird. It’s so dark, you have to get your own menus and silverware from an oddly placed table. It needs to be remodeled and brightened up! Very creepy vibe!

I really love the chicken salad plate because the fruit is a surprise depending on when you go! Chicken salad also does not have a lot of add ins which I like but it does have relish. Carrot cake muffin is delicious.

Food was delicious especially the Philly steak and cheese. The brisket was good but the Philly was my favorite. I will definitely get the carrot cake muffin again; moist, tasty and the cream in the middle was so good.

I have been dining here since its original opening. Although we relocated about a decade ago, I make a point to visit Dothan frequently to indulge in this delicacy. My favorite dish is the fruit and chicken salad plate, complemented by a carrot cake muffin.

Look, I’m not usually one to leave negative reviews, but this has been a repeat experience. The food is great! Love the corn chowder. But several times now, the food takes an insane amount of time to get to you. We’re talking an hour plus. And yall, it’s not complicated food. Today our order was sandwiches/soup, chicken tenders/fries, and a couple scoops of chicken salad. After over an hour with no food, no sign of it/check in by the waitress, and seeing them bring out 20+ to go plates, we left with no food. The only redeeming factor today was that we didn’t have to pay for our drinks.

This is an amazing locally owned business to get donuts. The owners are amazing. Donuts are amazing. I highly recommend. Sometimes they aren’t open during posted business hours because life happens, but again, it’s just the two of them running the show.

Quaint, family owned shop that makes THE BEST donuts around!! We’ve tried the donut holes, cinnamon twist, glazed, chocolate and raspberry filled on multiple occasions, and they are so fresh and delicious every time!! Come early to get the better options! Excellent customer service!!

First of all....I will cut my hands off at the wrist before touching a Krispy Kreme or Dunkin donuts ever again. Loyless has a new fan! They were fantastic. Worthy of an early morning rise to trek into the Dothan circle. Cash only and you have to go through the drive thru so plan accordingly.

These donuts are worth waking up early for. They’re definitely some of the best around. If you’re lucky enough to be able to get an Apple fritter, it’s a must try.

I've been wanting to get donuts again from here it's been years since I've had some. There still so good. There the best in Dothan. My kids love them it's there first time trying them. The staff is very kind and will help you out and is very patient. I will be back again. I want to try there cinnamon rolls next time.

Little cakes in a box! This place is amazing and the customer service is beyond magnificent! I would recommend anyone who loves good, fresh donuts to give them a try!

Oh Loyless donuts... They are that amazing! I acquired my love for them while working as a new engineer at Farley, and would occasionally pickup a dozen on my way in to share with my colleagues. The donuts never sat around long after their presence on the floor was announced. If you've never tried them, do yourself a favor by skipping the chain based donut brands and grabbing yourself a dozen of these tasty gems!

I really enjoy eating here when I visit the area for work. Probably the only AYCE restaurant that I patronize. The restaurant is very aesthetically clean. The food is very consistent. The rolls are somewhat small which is to be expected. Maybe a little more variety or a rotating menu would help. The service is usually pretty good also. Recommend checking them out if you're in the area

The customer service was excellent. The store was very clean. The tacos I ordered were being prepared with care and delicacy like someone who cares for their craft. The portions were very good and honestly you get more than you pay for. Personal favorite are the pork belly buns. I would highly recommend trying this place. Very quiet and peaceful.

Had an amazing time with my family. The lighting is low for people who love low lights but very well lit. The restaurant was very packed, and the service was still amazing. Savanna waited on my table, and she was super helpful and very personable, and I highly recommend her. She has knowledge of the menu which we loved. The food was decent, being that it is all you can eat they are turning food over quickly. The wait times for your food is very short to say people are constantly ordering food. It is not a buffet which I was happy about, you order from a menu.

Place was great and impressively bigger and nicer when you walk in. Other than sitting us next to a table where they had all the pre-rolled napkins and plates in the middle of the floor, I would say that the atmosphere and the food were great. Sorry that I didn’t post any of the sushi! I ate it too quickly, haha. I would def come back here again, the staff is was very nice as well. I HIGHLY recommend getting the Mars Sushi Roll.

I when to work for dinner last night with six friends. All of us really enjoyed our meals. In fact I would say they were close to being considered excellent. I got one of the bowls, specifically beef, and my buddy got pork and he loved it. The only reason I knocked it down a notch our server was not very attentive and we spent a lot of time waiting on him, but overall, this is a definitely hit

I've been told about this restaurant by a few different people down in Panama City. Made the 1.5 hour drive up just to try it. Very fun atmosphere. Good service! No wait to be seated on a Saturday night at 7pm. Plenty of parking. Menu with a ton of options. The steak was sooooo good. Birria was too oily and lacked flavor. Tinga quesadilla was too wet.

Decided to try somewhere new today, and so glad we stopped here! Delicious, and great service! Will come back some time!

The menu is so big with all different cuisines. It does make it hard to decide what to get. From there, you're choosing between Mexican Thai and Greek. They ordered a skillet with lamb but it didn't come with anything like bread or tortillas. You had to order that as an extra which is odd. If you were to order fajitas it would come with something. So overall that item was very dry. The atmosphere is cool. It took about 15 minutes to get our drinks which we're so so. Way too sweet. Overall not a bad place but I'm not sure that I would be hurrying back. overall service was really good

Great food and hospitality, but pricey with a few drawbacks!! I recently stopped by this restaurant while passing through the Dothan area and was impressed by the food and service overall. The flavors were spot on, and you can tell there's real care and passion going into the dishes. The owner personally greeted us, offered recommendations, and made us feel genuinely welcomed—something that's increasingly rare these days. That said, a couple of things took away from the overall experience and made me settle on a 3.5 (no option for this on the over all rating) star rating. First, they charge a flat $2.15 fee for credit card payments—even for larger dine-in orders. I’ve honestly never seen a surcharge like that unless the total is very low (like under $10), so it felt a bit unreasonable considering we were dining in and ordered a full meal. Second, while the food is definitely good, the pricing felt on the higher end for the area. We ended up spending around $25–30 per person for fairly modest portion sizes. For a casual meal in Dothan, that’s a bit steep, especially if you're coming in with a group or family. Overall, if you're a foodie and don’t mind spending a little more for quality and personal service, you’ll probably enjoy the experience. But I’d recommend checking out the menu and prices ahead of time to make sure it fits your expectations and budget.

This was an amazing experience for me. The staff was kind and respectful. Definitely accommodating the order process was easy beautiful building live music. The food was perfect 10/10 recommended. Worth every dollar

Hello folks, this place is as good as it is confusing. The food was outstanding. If you like Indian/Greek food, come here! However, the strange part is that there is a bunch of Mexican food and American food on the menu. You will see amazing Indian/Greek food and then Mexican food like tacos and enchiladas followed by cheese burgers. My suggestion is for them to concentrate on Indian/greek period. People don't go to a Indian restaurant wanting Mexican. I'm sure it's good also but it should not be there. The price was good and you will be full. Only negative is food should come with naan bread. You have to order it separately, but there are many different kinds and they were good! Highly recommended.

We love this place, normally catch it for lunch, but we decided to go for dinner tonight. always fresh lots of choices, beautiful atmosphere, great service. I’m so glad it’s in Dothan. If you haven’t tried it, you should!

I ordered my favorite chicken mango today and was disappointed. There was a inch layer of oil on my curry . And sauce was very thin and the taste was off . I tried scooping out the oil hoping it would help the taste but it did not help

Very nice place! Our server was Addie! She was super sweet and very conversational. (I took a picture with her! She was just so sweet!) She served us well and gave us good suggestions. Made the experience very light-hearted! The food tasted amazing and the price for the amount of food I got was nice! I really like the complimentary croissants! Very good and wasn't too heavy to get in the way of my meal. The food took a little bit but not too long. The cake slices were a bit small, but that's just my personal taste! As far as looks and the furniture in the place: Everything looks good, I loved the fan, and the fish tank was cool! The chair I sat in was uneven and leaned back and forth, but besides that, the building/chairs/tables seemed nice and clean. While we were there, I got a chance to actively see them clean up while people were still eating. Great spot!

The food is pretty average, you get what you expect not high end not low end either. Our waiter was nice but I think stretched himself a little thin by helping other servers he checked on us but was a little slow at it. It's just a so so place to go I expected a little more with the decor and atmosphere.

I don't know HOW they did it, but they have discovered the secret to making fried chicken that looks crispy and delicious but tastes truly terrible (even with gravy). I swear the chicken tastes BOILED and the breading is not only completely bland, it also falls right off the chicken... I've never had fried chicken that was THIS bad before... I'm giving that 2nd star only for the crispness of the breading/presentation, and the fact that they managed to cook it all the way. Everything I got was bland. Definitely the chicken, but also the cole slaw and mashed potatoes and all the gravy that's supposed to make everything taste good... Even my slice of texas toast was slightly burned on one side and completely WHITE uncooked on the other lol I ordered this as a pick-up order around 2pm on a weekday (they were NOT busy at all), drove a few miles across town, and still had to wait for 15 minutes after I got there (probably 25 minutes total, during the dead time of day), I even tipped the person to walk it out to my car. She was nice enough and at least I got everything I paid for (minus any flavor). Tell the truth, did you guys figure out how to boil chicken before breading and frying it, or what? Next time I'll just drive all the way to Our Place in Ozark if I'm craving fried chicken. $20 for this disappointment. I don't think I'd go back if it was free.

Won-der-ful!!! The food is absolutely amazing!! The portions are large enough that my hubby had a smile of satisfaction ☺️ on the face of his greedy spirit. I would definitely recommend. And the variety is to the point where there's something for different taste buds.

Stopped by for lunch were in around 11 am, ordered appetizer and lunch, one hour later finally received appetizer barely warm and the spinach dip was watery. Received our buffalo chicken wraps shortly after, the food was barely warm again, the coleslaw watery and very messy to try to eat. Pieces would fall out and it dripped! We’ve eaten here many times but something has changed! Disappointed!!

Very good experience here overall, we all enjoyed our food. I had the blackened Salmon- perfectly done. Service was prompt and courteous even on a Friday night!

Fantastic in every respect of the word. From seating, to waiter, to selection, timing, atmosphere it was a great lunch. Food was fresh, hot and delicious. The waiter was so good we left 30%. If there was a drawback it was the tree outside that hadn't been trimmed that can contact your car and the coke was a lil flat. Otherwise, this is a great value and well worth your time and money for a good meal.

Been driving by this place for years. Decided to stop for dinner. Everyone was personable, and the dining area was clean and well organized. Service was fast and accurate. It is probably a personal thing, but I prefer a bit more "flavor" in my BBQ. The meats were well cooked, and served hot. I just feel it should be a bit more flavorful, as well as the sauce. They do not offer a "spicy" BBQ sauce either. Also, beware.....if you use a credit or debit card, they charge a 3.5% fee! :o((

Good BBQ... Wife had ribs, fries and Cole slaw. I had the shredded pork sandwich on toasted bun with baked beans and fries. Slaw and bake beans sides made on site...very tasty. Meat was very good. You will like. Our server Kristen was polite and very attentive. Very good 1st visit. This place has been here a long time. Recommend if you like BBQ...

I guess a lot of people don't know the difference between "camp" stew and it's ugly cousin "Brunswick" stew. They are entirely different. Camp stew is almost entirely pureed with pork,corn, taters, onion. The other is like chunks of anything else. It's not for me. However, I don't mind having to drive over 100 miles from Tallahassee Florida each way to get the wonderful flavor I've grown up with in the Camp stew. What's better,is they'll have gallons ready to go out the door in minutes. Also , pounds of sliced beef sauce on. With wheels. Smaller sizes available. Best comfort food EVER!

Wife and I stopped here on a roadtrip. Would NOT recommend this place, waste of our money. My wife got the chili dog, the bun wasnt toasted, hot dog was boiled or something, and the chili was just hamburger meat with no chili sauce, only 3 tiny bits of onion on it. I got the brisket sandwich, it was on cheap store bought bread, brisket was very dry and did not taste right, the fries were ok, but just your basic from freezer and fried. The coleslaw was one of the worst I have ever tasted. The server was friendly, about the only good thing. Atmosphere was depressing.

The food was the worst bbq I have ever had. I don’t know how they are still open. The food was so bland and very dry. Baked beans tasted like it was from a can.

If you like dining in be sure to call and make sure they are actually serving people as it seems they rarely are. Have tried to eat here several times over the last year or so and have been unsuccessful due to their unpredictability. Not sure what kind of restaurant would rather have staff standing around watching paint peel than serve customers.

I'm from the south by birth and have to day this was top of the line BBQ. I tried the pork, chipped and sliced, beef chipped. All was blue ribbon. The most friendly Lady and Gentleman waited on me, with smiles. The location reminded me of yesteryear, very cozy. I will be back again and again.

Ridiculous place. Came in for a quick dinner - ended up staying >1.5h because of unexplainable wait times, even though the place was empty on a Monday night. My medium steak was not just well-done, it was - congratulations. Look at the picture - I didn’t complain because I was not ready to wait another hour to get a new steak. And paid for that insane price (>$50 pp). Would not recommend

My wife and I went here for our anniversary dinner. We had a good steak combo meal and Cactus blossom. Service today was impeccable. Steaks were cooked properly to our order. Thank you, Texas Roadhouse.

Our first time coming in the other day for my birthday and I have to say from the food, atmosphere,service,it was all outstanding!Our waitress Mara was over the top the best waitress we have ever encountered,she was friendly, professional,funny,and went over and beyond to make sure I felt special the entire time.We absolutely loved her,she made our experience worthwhile and we will definitely be coming back.

It wasn’t good. I came just to get a carryout, and was greeted cheerfully. I asked how much it was to add a lobster tail, and was told it was $14 OK bet. I received my food pretty promptly, and the ribeye was pretty much inedible. I had to chew chew chew and spit out the meat. It was so chewy.. I love ribeye, it’s second only to the fillet. I don’t understand what kind of meat they use, but it was not good at all.. The lobster tail was so tiny. I absolutely regretted adding it to my meal. The mashed potatoes weren’t bad, but everything else was awful, and I will not be back.. I did not have the energy to take the food back to the restaurant and complain. The pictures show almost all of the steak having to be spit out due to the fact that it was pretty much inedible. I tried to cut it with a butter knife, to see how tender it was to start, and it was almost impossible.

We went on a busy Saturday night. I'll preface the rest by saying our waitress and one of the managers worked diligently to make sure our orders were correct. 3 of us ordered steaks with different types and sizes as well as different degrees of doneness. We were informed ahead of time that the steaks were heavily seasoned. There was more than one thing wrong with each of our orders. The waitress was quick to address the issue and go to the kitchen to correct the problem. The next set of plates did have 1 steak doneness issue. The waitress again made short work of taking the order back to the kitchen for correction. A manager returned to the table with her with the new food and both apologized again for the mix up. All was made right and extra desserts were provided for our table. No one around us was having issues with their food. It's never happened there before. All was made right by the waitress and manager who acted with speed and professionalism. I will also add that our dining took longer than we had planned. But we all maintained our composure and waited patiently and politely. There was no need for any of us to take our frustration out on the waitress or to tip her less. The order was placed correctly. It was just one of those nights when things got mixed up. We will definitely return.

While the store is fun to browse the service and food is mediocre, the special "cod " today was little to no flavor and a bit overcooked and the hashbrown casserole was over done and not flavorful. The dumplings are always good and the biscuits today were soft and amazing. Not to mention a bit overpriced especially for the portion given. And we went right at lunch time so it's not like it was a late snack this was lunch food. 14.99 for 4 tiny pieces of cod and 2 scrawny sides. Jody was our server, she was not friendly and she held a sour face. Sad. Yahweh help Jody to be in a better mood and serve you with her job through her attitude and service.

Stopped by Cracker Barrel for lunch and overall had a good experience. Our waitress was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and made sure everything came out just right. The food was delicious as always—classic comfort food done well. The only downsides were the longer-than-expected wait time for a table, especially for lunchtime, and the noise level once we were seated. It was a bit louder than I’d prefer for a relaxed meal. Still, the great service and food made up for it, and I’d definitely come back—maybe just at a different time of day.

We always stop at Cracker Barrel because the food is usually good, and the service is consistent. We arrived about 2:30 and were seated right away. The hostess was friendly and polite. Our server, Judy came by and asked for our drink orders. She was back in a few minutes with our drinks and silverware. My granddaughter ordered macaroni and cheese, I ordered the Thursday lunch special, turkey dinner with a side salad. Our server went on about how they haven’t had side salads in two years, and I would have to get the larger house salad. Then she said, she would have to check if they still had the lunch special. She finally came back and said they did. My grandson ordered the cheeseburger without cheese. My mother ordered the country fried steak and also asked for a side salad. She said again, they have not had the side salad for two years, but she could get the house salad for a small up charge. My mom said OK. The salads same right out but they had bacon on them. I said we don’t eat bacon. She took my salad back but left my mom's. She then sent the hostess out with a menu. The hostess said, “Your Server said you needed this”. I did tell the hostess I did not request the menu. She looked bewildered and said the server had put her in an awkward position. She said, she was sorry and left. I was about to tell the server my mom's salad still had bacon when my salad arrived but after the menu incident my mom just said forget it. My mom picked around the bacon on her salad. The meals came out and they were good. My mom did not eat her country fried steak because the salad was too large. The kids enjoyed their meals. The turkey dinner was good and like many I have had at Cracker Barrel before except the dressing was overpowering and had a lot of sage. Our sever returned to check on us and asked, how was everything Dad. My granddaughter told her I was her grandfather. She then asked my mother, and how was everything Mom. My mom just said she needed a box for her meal because the salad was too big and filled her up. The food was good, but they missed the mark all around with service here except the hostess who got thrown under the bus at our expense. I am giving two stars for the food.

Everything was great at Cracker Barrel. Food was just right & our server checked on us several times. Then.....we shopped, which is always a treat for they have such unique items. It was a good day at both the restaurant & the shop.

So two weeks ago our food and service was excellent, however this morning we were disappointed in every single aspect. From getting seated, to our server and then the awful thin, hard cold biscuits, to the bacon we ordered that we think may have been rancid, no one ever checked in on us. We have gone to CB for 30 years, we will NEVER return to the Dothan, Al store. Horrible! Such a shame to our community!

A horrible waitress can turn a mediocre meal completely sour. Our waitress Brandy had the worse attitude I’ve seen in a long time. As soon as my daughter and I sat down at the table, we noticed the table was sticky. When she returned to bring our drinks. I brought the matter to her attention. She responding by saying “ that’s ok, I will just get a wet rag and wipe it off” . I’m all for her wiping the table but off, but it would seem sensible to sit us somewhere else while she did so( sorry but I don’t want to sit at a wet/damp table). I asked if we could just be seated at another table. She didn’t seem to like that. I noticed that she was a lot more courteous and attentive to the customers around us. I want to give her the benefit of doubt and assume that they may have been regulars. Once our food arrived I noticed that the utensils had dried food on them. When she finally returned I asked if she could bring us disposal utensils and received even more attitude. Brandy did not come back to check on us until she was bringing the check. My biscuits Benny was mediocre, the biscuit Beignets were so sweet I had to ask for water and received an attitude from Brandy for doing so. My little girl really enjoyed her cheesecake stuffed pancakes but, based on my overall experience, I will never return to this location.

I had a rather great time here. I've often seen signs for Blue Plate, but I never actually went until last evening. I had a very pleasant time. I was able to get food at a reasonable price for my guests, and the food quality was there. I do recommend this place for a quiet, quaint place to spend time with family.

The place was packed. Showed up with 6 people. Sat down immediately. Food was out in 10 minutes!!! Service was polite and fast! The porch was very pleasant. Music with a car lot view.

This is a great southern food restaurant! We found it purely by accident and it’s 2 hours away from my home. I will go there any chance I get because it’s so good. My waitress, Tiffany J, is the absolute best waitress ever! She is very attentive, very interactive with her customers and just a genuine joy to be around. They need to clone her. You don’t find a lot of good waitresses like her anymore!

Tiffany J was my server very sweet young lady. Got a great sense of humor. Food is always good and fresh and the fried corn bread is so so good and fresh. Im giving them a 5 star. Yall want some good home cook food come here on west side. You wont be regret it.

We had a nice early dinner here. The food was quite good. The service was great. The atmosphere was somewhat modern, but the crowd was not. 😆 I think this is a local favorite location. If you used to like cracker barrel, you will like this better. The food here is superior.

Love this place! Servings are plentiful, food is delicious and choices are many. Highly recommend the tilapia and Dad gets hamburger steak. Fried pickle appetizer is yummy and never had a bad dessert here. Love this place!!!

We had two adults and two kids. Was a little over $50 to eat, so price is pretty good. Good music playing, friendly server. Konner was our server, kept checking on us, we didn’t wait long for him, all orders were correct! We had the red elephant burger, BLT grilled chicken sandwich, kids chicken tenders and kids cheeseburger. The only complaint about food is- the chicken tenders were hard as a rock. The rest of the food was amazing. The atmosphere was pretty cool with all the different paintings. Only bad part there was, the carpets had trash that hadn’t been cleaned yet. Overall great visit for our first time!

Food We ordered the 12" family pizza pack, which included a house salad and two Greek salads. We decided to add grilled chicken to one of the Greek salads. This was an extra charge but worth it. I’ve always appreciated these salads for their crispness and well-crafted dressings. While we could select up to three toppings for the pizza, we decided to keep it simple with just pepperoni for the kids. Additionally, we added a burger to our order. Everything arrived promptly and exactly as we had requested. Service Our waiter was exceptionally helpful and greeted us with a friendly smile. He continually refilled our drinks, provided extra napkins, and was always on hand to answer any questions we had. We would be delighted to have that server again! Atmosphere The atmosphere features a blend of booths and half booths with chairs, creating a cozy environment. It is well-lit and has a soothing ambiance. They offer a menu for kids, complete with a pack of crayons and a coloring sheet. The restrooms are clean and well-cared-for, and the parking lot provides easy access, ensuring a hassle-free parking experience.

We highly recommend the Red Elephant Pizza & Grill. My husband usually gets the elephant burger but decided to try their pizza tonight. He got half Santa Fe Chicken pizza and half meat lovers and both were absolutely delicious. The best he's ever had! Their menu is pretty extensive, with several different appetizers, salads, pastas, pizzas, sandwiches, rice bowls and even some low carb dishes. Their servers are very attentive and work with you on getting your meal just the way you like it. Great atmosphere, too. Our favorite server is Travis. He's the absolute best!

I love it here. We had the most incredible server I think I have ever had! I absolutely hate I cant remember his name but he was top tier! The food was great and the atmosphere is always good.

Ordered Garlic Bread and the BBQ Chicken Pizza. I was not overly impressed. The garlic bread was the most disappointing. Very small portion for the price, not a lot of garlic flavor. The white sauce that came with it helped but very disappointing. The pizza was ok. The BBQ sauce was too sweet for my tastes, but other May like sweeter sauce. The crust was relatively bland. Service was good though. Overall, would not go back.

We were out of towners and we decided to stop there and have some pizza. Very nice people in atmosphere and the food was wonderful. I refer it to anyone who wants a good lunch or dinner experience! 😁👍

Rolls are absolutely not the same as in the past. The shrimp were okay. The salad was good but they were out of croutons. Service was excellent and atmosphere was great! Overall, it was just okay, nothing mind blowing.

Still, I found myself wondering: “How would the experience have gone if we were just a table of four?” The ribeye was the focal point of my order. At $29.99, I expected something memorable. Instead, I found myself needing steak sauce—which I normally avoid. The flavor wasn’t bad, but the amount of fat made me question whether that was just this cut or a broader issue. Was this the standard ribeye experience here? The Caesar salad? Excellent. Fresh, crisp, and balanced—easily the best part of my meal. The corn? Adequate. Nothing stood out. Not bad, just... there. The service? Understandably strained. No drink refills during the meal. Given our group size, it raises the question: What systems are in place for managing large parties? We weren’t demanding—just thirsty. There was also a 1.5-hour wait before we were seated. That’s not unexpected for a popular chain, but it did leave me asking: Was this level of wait matched by the experience we received? Breakdown: Food: 3/5 Service: 3/5 Atmosphere: 4/5 Bottom line: It wasn’t bad. But it didn’t feel like $30 steak night either. Something tells me this place can shine—but on this visit, it didn’t quite get there.

We received gift cards last Christmas and decided we should use them. 😆 We haven't been to a TRH in years. Always enjoyed our visits though I noticed the prices have risen. At this time, we expected this. Clean, seated quickly and the food was fantastic. The manager said hello and the waitress took the order. Brought food and did not see anyone until the bill came. $50 for Riley plate and roadkill (chopped steak).

I’m a regular customer. However, I’m not certain I will remain one. Ordered 8 oz Filet , medium rare… husband ordered Ft Worth 20 oz Ribeye, medium rare. The Ribeye was served medium/medium well. The Filet was raw, sent it back, still raw, sent it back, what a mess. Did not even eat it. HUGE RED FLAG!!! The manager came to our table during round 1, to NEVER return!!! Round 2 a server delivered a well done, scorched in places Filet. I would expect a manager to make sure the recook was proper…. DID NOT HAPPEN. The server was excellent… at this point all I’ve eaten is a salad and rolls…. Really it’s Friday, 3:00 pm…. Manager refunded $10.00…. After you kidding me? The server contacted the GM, and a full refund was given for the Filet, but never did a manager after the initial under cook, follow through to make sure the order was correct. If you love Filet Mignon…. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION…. What a HUGE disappointment after a long week at work, wanting to enjoy a nice meal and relax. Total THUMBS DOWN!!!!

Went with my wife on Father's Day to Texas Roadhouse. The food was excellent as usual. I had the porterhouse, and it was so tender you could cut it with your fork.

Went on a first date to Texas Roadhouse. I came in with high hopes and left beyond satisfied! It seemed pretty busy and I was hoping we didn't have to wait too long. The wait was normal and the food came out really fast. My steak was perfect and my date's steak was a little on the raw side. Our server, Charity was incredibly attentive and anticipated our needs before we even addressed the issue. She immediately fixed the minor issue and went the extra mile to make it right. She truly made our night special and helped me nab a second date with the excellent food and amazing service. We will be coming back.

Absolutely my all-time favorite place to dine in and do a curbside pick up order, due to my busy Nursing long hours & schedule. It’s always a hit n miss with getting to eat … most times not! But when time allows… outback it is!! The food never disappoints!!

Average chain steakhouse. I would give it a fair 3.6 stars, but round up due to google rating system. The outback prime rib tasted good and was well cooked - but the horseradish sauce did not match the flavor IMO. I would NOT recommend the Tasmanian Chili - it was straight up too sour and tasted like a canned meal. The service took a bit long for the order and payment.

We had our son’s Graduation party here 10-4-25 since he graduates in December. They were amazing. They let us bring cake in at 11 to Lee cool for us and when party got there they were ready for us to be seated. Service was amazing and all food was perfect. Definitely recommend if you are having a party or just dinner going here. Thank you again to the staff yesterday for making our sons Graduation party great.

The last two times have been very good experiences. Steaks were cooked perfectly, tender, juicy and delicious. Sides were great. Fried mushrooms were amazing. The takeout service is very friendly and now makes sure the order is correct. This is back to the Outback we used to enjoy so much.

Went on Mother's Day, and had a nice time. They also gave out flowers to all the women there, which was very sweet. Despite the large amount of people there, the service was friendly and timely, and the place was clean.

The customer service was absolutely fantastic. First time I've been to an Olive Garden in years. I forgot how much food you truly get for your $$. The establishment was very clean. The atmosphere was fantastic. The food was amazing. Ill definitely be back very soon. 10 out of 10. We were extremely satisfied.

We spent a little over $80 plus tip. The restaurant was freezing. The spinach dip crackers were stale. Which shouldn’t have been stale since we got there when it opened. The ravioli (in picture) tasted okay but a little dried out. Breadsticks seamed a little soggy. It’s the first time I have been there in a few years, and was a little disappointed. The server was friendly at least.

All great things about this Olive Garden in Dothan. Our server Leila was on point with everything and super nice to My Wife and I. The food was Delicious and the atmosphere.

We went to Olive garden on a whim today for a small family dinner. We waited in line for a table to come open. We sat inside and everything was clean and looked like a typical olive garden. The food was amazing, I had the eggplant Parm with spaghetti for my main course and it tasted great and I was not disappointed. For dessert I had the chocolate lasagna. It was also amazing and chocolatey. All the food was presented well and was appetizing. The star of the show was our server Jen. She was honestly the best server I have probably ever had. Very organized, attentive, friendly, fast, refilled drinks, checked up on us but didn't stay too long. Just seriously a great waitress, I hope that Olive garden management recognizes her because she is truly a great server and deserves to be recognized.

I enjoy going to this place! My fiancé took me here for my birthday. The waitress Kat was amazing she went above And beyond to give us great service!! The best service I’ve had in a very long time. The food at this restaurant was not good like it usually be. I had to send my first plate back because I had old Alfredo and the lasagna didn’t look like lasagna. So they finally sent me some fresh Alfredo and remade the lasagna which looked the same as the first. I got the tour of Italy, which is always a hit but not anymore . I started to ask for our money back but it didn’t even bother. My fiancé food was overcooked but he didn’t complain like me🫤

Ate lunch here today with my family. They sat us in a disabled table (which we shouldn't have been we are able bodied and had our 1yr old with us who satbin a highchair). I mention this because you did have an elderly patron arrive in a wheelchair who really could have benefited from that space. Maybe some education to the staff about who is appropriate to seat in that area. Our mattress was amazing and very attentive to us.

The food was still good, don't get me wrong. But it just didn't taste as good as the last time I ate there. I ordered the same thing, but there was something different about it. Would that being said, I got a lot of food for the money I paid. The staff, as always, we're great.

Food was very good! Fried chicken sandwich was delicious! (Chicken was much larger than the bun! Breading was crunchy and had great flavor!) Hubby had burger which was juicy and cooked as requested. Our server, Connie, was very friendly, nice, and efficient! Our total bill was reasonable. On the bad side, bathrooms could use updating and floors need a washing (2 stars). 4 stars for Restaurant being decorated nicely for holiday (average 3 stars)

I had the 12 ounce Top Sirloin Steak with loaded baked potato and broccoli. The steak was cooked as I ordered it and had good flavor. Our server was polite and checked on us periodically and promptly. However, this is the second visit where our table wasn't fully cleaned.

I usually love coming here, but today everything was terrible. It took over 10 min to get a drink, no the place is not busy. After over 40 min we asked for our check for the drinks and we’re told our chip appetizer will be out in a min. They finally brought some food out the mayo packet was rotten and gross. The French dip was rock hard with congealed cheese. And the side salad was frozen My daughter had a few bites and started feeling sick. The waitress wasn’t rude but was useless. Will not be back

Let me tell you about our trip to the Dothan O’Charley’s. It was date night and Cory our server did not disappoint. We ordered Cedar Plank Salmon and Balsamic Glazed Grilled Chicken. Chris our chef, prepared our dishes with attention to detail and the ultimate flavor. The pictures below don’t do the taste of these dishes justice. My wife and I went on our first date to O’Charley’s 13 years ago and wasn’t disappointed then. Keep it up Cory and Chris!!!

Went in today for lunch and sat at the bar. The bartender was tentative and pleasant. I ordered the fried chicken salad with ranch and a peach tea. Everything was delicious! I’ll definitely go back!

Very disappointed me and my husband have been coming every other Sunday for the last year and the last two times have been bad enough for us for us to decide we will never be back. The service is always amazing but the cooks need help we always get steak they use to have the best. Tonight we orderd no different then any other time medium rare I get chicken tenders with mine not only was our steak RARE but my chicken was so dry and over cooked. Very disappointed after waiting for new steaks my husbands was still very undercooked but living almost 2 hours away we needed to get home and didn’t have the 20 extra minutes so we left. Very sad to see what use to be such a amazing restaurant go down like this. But don’t worry guys they gave us 25% off one of our plates (when we told the waitress they where undercooked she said well I can take it to the kitchen and he will throw it back on for you, keep in mind this is after we have cut it and handled it…the chef would of put it back on the grill where everyone else’s food is prepared)

Not very busy at all, which was great service. The food is always excellent. A few new items on the menu made it hard to choose. Once I did the food was very enjoyable.

Service was great! But.... the food was mid. It just wasn't up to snuff. Parmesan chicken was dry and rubbery had a funky taste. Wouldn't get the chicken again. And the fried flounder wasn't flavorful:( the fries weren't even good:( My family thought the fish was good. The tarter was good! Ranch was too thin and not ranchyyy! Overall the service was great but food was mid for me.

It had been a while since me and my wife had gone here, decided to go last night and was pleasantly surprised by the fantastic service. Food was just as good as any other red lobster I had been too but the waitress was exceptional

The Manager is fabulous, she is super sweet. Everything we had questions on she answered and helped us out so much well. We come here so often because we absolutely love Red Lobster and today May 2nd is our 10 year wedding anniversary and she has been amazing. I visited this restaurant today at 2pm and experienced a brief wait due to a large group ahead of me. However, our server, Michelle, turned what could have been a negative experience into a positive one. She kept me informed about the status of my food, was friendly and attentive, and maintained a warm smile throughout my visit. Her exceptional service included refilling my drink before I even asked and promptly clearing empty dishes. The entire staff was busy attending to their tables, demonstrating a high level of attentiveness to customers. Despite the initial wait, Michelle's outstanding service and the quality of the food made for a top-notch dining experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant, giving it a well-deserved A+.

We had a great time going there! The food was hot and fresh and the restaurant was clean and inviting. What made the restaurant such a great experience was the waitress! Michelle, was amazing!!! She was very friendly, refilled our glasses as needed, got our food to us fast and it was very good. We wish that all restaurants had this type of service! We will be back.

Our server was great. He also was taking care of the bar tending service. He was very attentive. The food was delicious as always. The cheddar biscuits were awesome. I even got a free dessert for my birthday.

My experience at Red Lobster was amazing, our waiter , Jalun gave excellent customer service. He was friendly, helpful, attentive and very interactive to our needs. I am on vacation and I recommend anyone to ask for him when they come here to eat. it’s been a long time since I’ve had this kind of interaction with the waitress. Made me and my family feel very comfortable.

Let me start out by saying that I’ve read the one star reviews. With a few exceptions, I think they’re being a bit dramatic. This an Applebees in Dothan, Alabama people. Not a Michelin star restaurant in Paris. The service was great. The food was pretty fair, not bad. Our family of five went for lunch. My wife & I got the all you can eat shrimp, boneless wings, and rib cutlets. The kids ordered from the kids menu. Our orders were taken quickly, drinks & refills were prompt, and the food was cooked thoroughly, and delivered in a timely manner. Everything was reasonable. With a total ticket being about $55, not too bad I think. Only critique is the cleanliness could be improved of the facility & restroom.

The combo plate was not the best. they would not take my free appetizer last night waitress was new had to ask for extra napkins twice. no shark in my sharkbowl. they was out. why do u always try to sit heavy people in booths need more help had to wait to pay bill I would not recommend at this point of time need work and better trained staff

Londen was amazing, very attentive and respectful. The manager on the other hand was staring and making us very uncomfortable. We sat at the bar to have a fun time and she stared at us the entire time. We witnessed Caroline cuss at Londen and scream at him across the restaurant. All he was doing was his job. We will be back because of Londen, if Caroline is there we will leave. Please get better managers.

Came here back in January for lunch for my daughters birthday. Only 1 waitress was there. Took forever for them to greet us. Our waitress took our order without writing down anything. This had me worried because there were 6 of us. And just as expected, she got a lot of our orders wrong, and she forgot things as well. Sides were not what we ordered on over half of our orders. Also, they were out of a few different things as well. The food came out cold about an hour later, and the food made all of us sick. The food didn't taste very good either like it would at a good applebees. A few people came in after us, and they sat for over 30 min without a waitress coming, and they wound up leaving. If you are that understaffed, you should just close down for the day. Won't be coming back to this applebees. Hope they got their staffing issue under control.

Service is great, food is good. Cleanliness of the restaurant as a whole is not there, I've never sat at a table that didn't feel grimy / sticky. The cups have a deep white film on that you can physically scrape off with your straw. When extra empty plates are requested, they have the same look/feel.

Got seated and left after 15 mins of not being greeted. There was only another family and 1 person at the bar in the whole restaurant at 5pm on a Friday. Hostess didn’t look like she knew how to seat someone and didn’t say anything as we got up and walked out. Don’t waste your time

Since I left Applebees a couple Days ago have just been so empowered and accomplished .Gotta give a shout-out to Faith!! Awesome Energy!! She was just giving me so much praise for coming out with my daughters. 😊 Faith truly held my faith together that day!! Thanks for that!

We love coming to Blue Plate every time we come through from GA to FL! The best meats (fried steak is our favorite), veggies, and desserts!!! We wish they would open one in GA near us because we would be there all the time!

I had country fried steak, rice, gravy and turnips. The steak was excellent and noticeably lacking in grissle. The gravy had an intriguing flavor-very good. I wish I could cook rice as well as these folk. Turnips were tasty. The only downer was the complementary cornbread basket was nasty. EDIT: It actually wasn’t nasty, just not up to the deliciousness of the rest of the meal. I might add this restaurant was our third choice of places to eat. No more! It’s number one now!

Food is absolutely yummy! Our waitresses never let our tea glasses get below half empty. Will definitely go again 👍

BLUE PLATE FOR THE WIN!!! CELIAC I just wanted to say that my husband and I tried the Blue Plate tonight for the first time. I have celiac and the cook grilled my chicken livers for me instead of frying them. It was really good. And I had the greens and mashed potatoes. He said he could grill any meat they offer instead of frying. Just another option for all the Celiacs out there since. And we were both satisfied and with tip and all it was $38 for us both with drinks too.

Awesome service. A little pricey for the amount of food you get. My steak tips and rice was excellent. My boyfriend's chicken was dry. He gives me the crunchy crust and it had a slight taste of old oil. We visited between lunch and dinner, so we're thinking that the chicken may have been sitting for a bit. We may try it again but will go at lunch or dinner to ensure we get fresh food all the way around.

Delicious, home cooked food with friendly service. Despite being very busy, the food came out fast and fresh. I had the buttermilk fried chicken with Mac&Cheese with steamed cabbage. Hubby had meatloaf, okra and mashed potatoes. Fantastic little gem.

While out enjoying activities in the Dothan area, we lost track of time and were relieved to find Chow King Grill & Buffet open until 9:30, perfect for a late dinner with kids. From the moment we walked in, the staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive. Our drinks were always topped off, and they made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. The buffet offered a great variety of food, from classic Chinese and Japanese dishes to American favorites. There was a solid selection of sushi, and I loved that all my go-to chicken dishes were available: sweet and sour, orange chicken, honey chicken, and more. The egg drop soup was also a big hit at our table! The pricing was fair and especially accommodating for families with small kids, which we appreciated since mine didn’t eat much. The overall experience was clean, friendly, and flavorful. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in town. A great choice for families or anyone craving a little bit of everything!

Out of town visit from central Florida. Wanted Chinese so I started to look and this place had great reviews. Needless to say the reviews do justice! This place had great food. All hot and being filled constantly. The sushi is amazing and the staff is on top of cleaning your table and refilling your drinks. I would recommend this place to everyone

The women’s restroom is horrible and very stink ! They have a blow up house fan on the inside and it’s not doing nothing but blowing the stink air into the food area!

Food was cold. Like real cold on the 'hot bar.' That is never a good sign because it is not sanitary. Place was clean enough (didn't use the restroom). Not seasoning, which is kind of weird for the specific dishes I tried (very bland). I would avoid due to the cold and poor quality of the food.

Restaurant was great for a large party. Staff was very accommodating. Food was fresh and tasty, and there was a huge selection. Family really enjoyed the sushi. I loved all the vegetable dishes.

Our first visit was a surprise. This is a large restaurant capable of seating a large crowd. The buffet area was very large ( for Dothan al) and had many food stations. The food selection was nice with many choices to choose from. Everything was well-seasoned and well-cooked. We came with a group and everyone was more than satisfied. Absolutely loved it! Everyone was nice! The cook was funny and very entertaining! The waitress was such a sweet lady! My guy and I had a great time for my birthday date! Prices weren't bad at all tip and everything was way less than we expected it to be.

We had a great time at the Mikata Japanese Steakhouse in Dothan, Alabama! The food was wonderful and there was plenty of it. You will not leave here hungry. This was our second visit in the last four months and we were very happy with the food and service both visits. Wait time was very reasonable too. I selected the double salmon hibachi this time and was very pleased. Our chef did an excellent job preparing our meals and entertained us as well. He was very attentive to our requests and interacted well with each guest at our table. Our hostess was very friendly, took our orders quickly and made sure we had everything we needed. An excellent experience!

Husband and I had a date night here and it was very nice. The service was great as well as the food.

My comments pertain only to the Sushi bar at Mikata. Simply stated, it is the best Sushi one can ever indulge in. It is a fantastic way to tantalize your taste buds. The wizard responsible for this outstanding culinary experience goes by the simple name of "Chef D"

One of the best places around. It was so interesting and exciting watching the whole process. We were a group of 7 and absolutely loved everything about this place. The friendliness, the fresh food, the service and the experience was top notch. My husband hates lobster and that's what I got but for some reason he was stealing it off my plate thinking it was chicken and even tho he said it had a different taste and texture then chicken, he loved it. It was a good laugh. Will definitely be going back. LOVE IT !!!

My husband and I were visiting family and stayed in Dothan. He remembered liking Mikata, so we called in an order for carry out. I got the hibachi chicken and he the hibachi chicken/shrimp. I woke up several hours after dinner and spent the rest of my night on the bathroom floor. My daughter, who is 18 months and ate off my plate, also was not feeling well but fortunately not to the same degree. The food was mediocre at best prior to the food poisoning and overpriced regardless.

Everyone who went here for wedding reception enjoyed the food. I absolutely loved the mashed potatoes and gravy. We all appreciated the service and wonderful people who helped when we didn't have what we needed. They were so lovely. I would recommend this place all over. Definitely would come here again for the food 😋

This is one of the worst Golden Corral that I have ever eaten at. The food was cold, not seasoned at all very limited desert. Associate coming from the back eating cookie off the dessert bar, dirty hands. Ice cream machine was broken down. They need to do better when you’re paying so much money for the buffet . SMH

This is the very favorite place to eat. I was excited to come and eat bc I hadn't bn there for several months,I hadn't had the money,so I was so very happy to finally be able to go. Then when I get there the guy behind making the steaks was new he got smart with my husband bc he asked for his steak a certain way and he didn't say it right. So my husband had to apologize and say it his way. Then I got the battered fish and the fried fish and they were cold and hard. I also got their shrimp which was cold . We got there at 5pm our food should have hot it was dinner time ,there was plenty people in. I also had a burger with brown gravy that was dried out and hard as a rock. I've never had such a bad experience there in my life. I still have 3 stars bc waitress was sweet a refill myglass with tea,at least the tea was good. The pineapple n strawberries were good.

It was great. We went in Sept Dothan AL for my Birthday Dinner with my mom when we went to see our GrandChildren. And decided to return in October while visiting our Grands again. We had the same waitress and she was good wish we had got her name. She was really good. Kept our drinks full and ask if we needed anything as she would walk by smiling. Keep up the good work. We celebrated the Queen of our family today as she turned 100 years young! The food was excellent and the staff showed her so much love! Tiffany took excellent care of each and everyone of us! Thank you guys so much for helping make our Queens day special.

Food is amazing 🤩 and this is a great place for kids 3 arcade games and a peanut person inside! My aunt is 88 and she loves it. It has pizza, chicken,and steak.for desserts it has cupcakes ,gummy bears, lots of cakes,and pies. It even has rice crepe treats to and noodles even ice cream!! Food is alright for the price. The waitresses try their best to accommodate you but aren't able to due to stock issues and rules. With that being said make sure you have change for a tip and you bring plastic utensils for those that can't eat with silverware otherwise you won't be getting any.

The service was great! The burger was a little salty on certain spots I bit into but it was pretty good.

We called ahead to ask if they were doing dine in, which they were. When we got there there was no one at the counter though. We only waited a couple of minutes so it was fine. The Pepsi I got didn't taste good and no one really came to ask if everything was okay but it may be they want you to come to the counter bc they do have u order off the board like other fast food restaurants. The food was really delish and fresh. I had the Wiregrass breakfast burger that comes with an egg, hashbrowns and bacon on top, which I couldn't even finish. Hubs and I both got the onion rings and there were enough left over for another person. All and all really good and would definitely go back.

Pretty let down with our experience this time. When we moved away this was the burger place to go. We recently came home and wanted the great burger we remembered and was greatly disappointed. Burger was hard dry and tasteless. We will give them one more redemption shot in the future otherwise we will go somewhere else.

This place has DRASTICALLY declined in both service and quality. The last couple of times I went it was bad but the last one took the cake - off duty employees and their SICK child in and out of the cooking area. The child stuck his hand in the ice and no one said a word. It took forever both times to get our food (longer than usual) with there only being one other table there this last time. Then to top it off, BOTH of our burgers were BURNT and we specifically said NOT WELL DONE. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE

Best burger I've had in a long time. My boyfriend and I were driving around for some holiday shopping from outta town and found this on maps. Sounded good and I'm glad we stopped. I will be back. He got the pounder and I got the western. BEST EVER

Excellence after the remodel. New menu is different, may shock some but give it a read and pick something. All family members pleased. Staff is ready to serve and super excited to help with everything. They even made us a custom desert! Who fries oreos and bananas on the fly? Nice work.

Great burgers and homemade onion rings. Would recommend this place to everyone looking for an outstanding meal and great customer service. They also have like over 50 different flavors of shakes that I'll be sure to try next time

I have heard many good things about Metro Diner. The parking lot is almost always full. So we decided to try it out. My wife LOVES breakfast food and I am not a fan so the fact that they serve breakfast and lunch foods all day was a definite plus for us. I ordered the Chicken Pot Pie and my wife ordered the Meat Lovers Omelet. The food was excellent. The restaurant was very clean and well maintained, the only real issue we had was that the service was slow. To be fair we did go at 9AM on a Saturday morning so the restaurant was very crowded. I am sure things would have been smoother on a week day. Our server was very nice but the fact that the restaurant was packed to the rafters probably had something to do with the speed of service. Next time we go we will choose a weekday that is not at a peak time.

We stopped by for breakfast on a Friday morning and the service was fast and friendly. Janice was great! The food came out hot and freshly made. Best Eggs Benedict I've ever had! My husband loved his meat lover's omelet and hash browns.

We had the Philly cheese steak with onion rings and the chicken pot pie. Both were very good with generous portions. The dining area floor needed a little attention.

I had went inside and ordered, when it came time to pay I payed with a gift card that a couple had given me minutes before. Come to find out, the gift cards take 24hrs to activate. While most places wouldn't just say, "sorry We can't do nothing for you", the staff at metro was very helpful and because of my situation they discussed it and still allowed me to have my meal, which was Great (Thank you cook). The reason for me giving them 5 stars across-the-board, Never mind that it was great food. A great atmosphere and it was clean. Everyone there was respectful and smiling, and it didn't change just because I was homeless. I recommend this place to anybody. But make sure your gift cards were bought 24 hours in advance. My wife and I ate here recently on a trip to Dothan. The atmosphere was fantastic and the service was great as well. Our server was Whitney and she did a great job! She checked on us several times and gave us an update or two about our food before it came out. I had the meat lover’s scramble bowl, which was a hearty meal. My wife had the fruity waffle which she thoroughly enjoyed with a side of eggs. I noticed after I ordered on a blackboard that they had an option for a Banana Pudding Waffle or short stack pancake griddle, which means we’ll have to go back soon!

Metro diner is the best restaurant in Dothan, if you are looking for great food and choices that won't empty your wallet. The service is outstanding. Each of the servers are professional and blessed with the gift of Southern hospitality and charm. Whitney, Janice, Gabby, Monica, Erin, Hannah, Crimson, John, Leann, Andi, will each make your dining experience a blessing to experience again and again. The kitchen staff desire that your food it hot and enjoyable. They take time to make your order not only pleasing to the eye, but also to be consistent in taste. Perfect every time! From the minute you walk in the door to the minute you leave, you have no doubt that your experience will be the best. The best food well that's anything you are hungry for. My favorites are Shepherds Pie, Classic Burger, Philly, Pot Pie, Waffle any flavor but when they have lemon blueberry that's life changing. It's hard to choose because it's all good.

After having been turned off by a bad experience at the Tallahassee BWW (dirty, run-down, intolerable stench reminiscent of a Chuck-E-Cheese ball pit) we were excited to try out the Dothan location. First impressions - clean, smelled fine, no dirty carpet. We sat at a table in the bartender's section. Our server was Whitney and she was excellent. Genuinely personable and friendly. As a former bartender/server myself I can appreciate how attentive she was to her entire section and bar guests as well as to our table. She helped us get the app set up so we could redeem the BOGO wing offer we wouldn't have otherwise known about. Food was out in a timely fashion as well. Knocking off 1 star for the wings because there was NO flavor on the dry rubbed. We got 3 different flavors of dry rub and one sauced. The dry ones were completely devoid of any seasoning, they were just naked wings. As can be seen in the attached photos, there is a pile of the chipotle bbq seasoning underneath one of the wings. We were at least able to dip the wings in ranch then dip it in the seasoning to get a taste. What appears to be the salt & vinegar rub came out in several clumps, like they shook the dregs from an empty bottle over the wings. None of it stuck to the wings. There wasn't enough to dip the wings in. I couldn't even detect the lemon pepper. We'd had a long day of dental appointments and had an hour+ drive back home so wasn't worth making a complaint. However, next time when ordering wings there will make it a point to mention "extra rub" or perhaps ask for some on the side. *Date of visit: Tues 8/26/25 ~5pm

Even though it’s a chain restaurant and I’m not a huge chain fan, these guys are killing it. I sat at the bar and got the tots as an appetizer. I wasn’t impressed with them only because they seemed dry and more like just an order of tater tots. I got the new Chicken Parm Melt samich and it was good. And it’s a lot of food for the price. I sat at the bar and the barkeep took good care of me as well as everybody else sitting with him.

Food wasn't that great ended up not eating most of it. Service was mediocre at best. And this place has the most filthy bathrooms I've ever seen. Won't be back BWW has really went down hill.

I gave it another shot, but still the same bad restaurant. Poor and slow service . 20 min to get the check, 45 min to get food and it was only nachos. Drinks took about 10 min after you asked for one. Not only was the service slow but everyone's food was cold. Cold tater tots, cold nachos, cold sandwhich. I would understand if it were busy but it wasnt. On top of all that the prices are outrageous. Over 10 dollars for 6 mcdonald size nuggets! This place is terrible and this is the 2nd at this particular location this has happened. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone even if it was the only sports bar in town.

Went here on Thursday 8/22 around 10:45-11pm. Ordered mozzarella sticks for my appetizer, 5 of my 6 sticks came out hollow like this one did. My wings were small and hard as well.

This is our first time here in Alabama Dothan. My Wife, Daughter, Son in law and Myself. We went to BWW after our Son in law graduation ceromony from Chipola College. This was one of the few places that was open late in Dothan. The food was very tasty! We ordered the unlimited wings with honey BBQ with fries. We all loved it. The drinks were very good also. We had lemonade, mountain dew and my wife and I had a Black cherry Mezgarita. The atmosphere was your typical sports theme but a lot of life to it we liked it alot. The people were having a great time and we did also. The service the service SUCKED!!!!! Our sever name was Dre. Very friendly and nice but he was all over the place and never checked on us we literally had to flag him down and he still said hold on and went and checked on other tables and never came. I had to as the other server which was a young lady with glasses I never got her name I wished wr did because she helped out a lot and was very nice and understanding. Thank you!! Back to our server Dre. I had to leave my family at the table to go ask can he put in another order of wings and could we get more drinks. I had to stand and wait about 10 minutes just to tell him. There is more but no need to talk about the service he provided because he really didn't provide us service and the service he did provide was rushed and not good. I would go back if we were in Dothan but request another server. NOT DRE. sorry Dre your cool but not a good server.

Buffalo dip was great! Cheeseburger and tots were great also. No complaints.

It was good. Not great. Our server was new but still kept up decently. The green bean fries are definitely my favorite thing on the menu. I have the hamburger sliders. They were meh. Not as good as Chilis sliders.

Love their cheese fries and drinks. This time I ordered the dragon glazed salmon and mango passion smoothie . They were delicious and went well together. Waiters and staff were very attentive and friendly and everything was good.

Stopped in 12/4/2021 around 2pm for lunch. No one at hostess station & I waited a while before being noticed. The restaurant was hardly busy at this time. Had the Bacon Ranch Chicken sandwich & asked for no Ranch or lettuce. Came with fries but I choose to get Green Bean fries( not good, to much batter ) & take french fries home. Sandwich was good but avocado was missing ( so asked for it ).

Verry good waitress constantly checked on us. Food is definitely not worth the price whats so ever. Burger was over cooked.

Visited this location around 11PM on a Saturday, chose it because it closed at 2AM. We were seated after standing in front of the hostess stand for almost 4 mins when the restaurant was over 80% empty. The host made eye contact with us and then we waited for about another minute. We sat for another 10 minutes before we got up and asked the hostess for the server. After seeing 3 or 4 servers in other areas. The host came over and sat down in the booth and said I will take your order since your server is busy. We placed our order and received our drinks. Then our waitress comes out and states that she was busy cooking in the back. She advices that the appetizer trio we ordered wasn’t available as they were out of potato skins, and advices they were also out of two other options but offered pot stickers, We selected another option. We receive the apps with no plates or napkins and when we ask for the napkins she advices they were also out of napkins. After eating a few mozzarella sticks we noticed the chicken wings had some really bad discoloration, and smell. At that point we decided to cancel the meals and leave. This place is being run like a circus. Trash all over the floor, no supplies.

Terrible service and food. Ordered a drink and app. Drink took a while to come. App never came. When server finally came back to bring our food she said they burnt our fries and they would bring them when ready. We no longer wanted our app at this point. Asked server for steak sauce. Took 4 minutes before she came back with no steak sauce because we were staring at her talking with another newly seated customer. Upon cutting into steaks they were well done when they were supposed to be rare and medium rare. Here we are 11 minutes after complaint, have eaten our sides and still no steak! Will NOT return and do NOT recommend!!! -see picture of my "rare"...well done steak! Note-only one steak came back 12 minutes later and it too was way over cooked! 3 tickets later and a whole 17 minutes after the steak came. Still waiting for check to be fixed

Used door dash for first time. Had a discount code so it was really cheap. Man the food was outstanding. I got a chicken bacon ranch burger and fries. Also got the appetizer of buffalo wings that had a very good portion in them they were excellent. Sorry I forgot to take a picture before I ate it but here is the results after the fact. There was nothing but bones left I will definitely order again

Denny's is great but this location was horrible. It wasn't busy with only one other table filled but it took over 15 minutes for to be seated. The host/manager was super rude. After ordering it took over 45 minutes to get our food and it was cold. After taking a couple of bites my sandwich tasted burn and I find burnt plastic in it and not just a little piece but a lot of them. My one year old's pancakes have burnt onions on them! My coffee cup have lipstick on it. And to top it all off when I brought it up with the Manager she again was extremely rude acting like it was no big deal and that we were just complaining for nothing. Worst Denny's experience I've ever had and probably will never eat at any Denny's again.

I like Denny's I like to eat there but what I had got today is ridiculous there was a tons of fat meat in my brisket. My hash brown were almost non-existent this is all about business

Quick stop while heading to Florida. The staff got is seated quick, got our orders in and the food came out nice and hot. I had the Berry Stuffed French Toast slam. And that was a surprise, having a dessert for breakfast. A better way to have strawberry berry short cake.

Got the grand slam breakfast x’s 2. Eggs, hash browns and meat were great. Asked for English muffins (instead of toast) and they sent them un-toasted. I never in my life eaten a raw English muffin.

My husband and I went today for our birthdays. Christopher was our server. He was absolutely amazing. I was very impressed how attentive he was to all his tables and how helpful he was as well. He has a wicked sense of humor as well. He was just great.

Food was good. We used a 20 percent off code on the order. But the cashier was nowhere to be found. Then when she got there I had 3 other people waiting behind. We had been standing there for almost 5 mins. Turns out she was standing right there within eye distances talking to a customer, she knew. Good food though.

The staff was very friendly and took my order fast. I had food on the table in about 10 mins. It was all hot and tasted great. They were willing to accommodate me in any way. When I was done she stopped everything she was doing and came to the register to get me checked out quickly. I'd definitely recommend this place.

We've always enjoyed dining at Smokey Joe's BBQ. But this past Sat, 7/12/2025 not so much. The salads my husband & I had were great, but the Texas toast that came with mine was hard all the way through & the bottom of the bun on my daughters BBQ sandwich was the same. We showed the waitress & I said that toast was probably left over from breakfast. (This was about 3:00PM.) She said "either that or it was under the lights too long. Those lights get real hot". Really? You aren't going to offer a fresh piece of toast or anything. I almost never complain & I still expect to pay for my food. I don't want or expect to have it written off; but I would like my server to try to make it right. This is a small complaint and not about the food as much as it is about the service. Just because one eats in the middle of the afternoon doesn't mean you serve something left from the noon meal.

We’ve been to Smokey Joe’s many times for many years and usually have excellent service and great food, so that's why we brought our family that was visiting from out of state. So we were honestly shocked by how poorly this lunch went. To start, our waitress didn’t even realize we had been seated—another staff member had to inform her that she had a table after we sat and waited for a while. Once she finally came over, things didn’t improve much. I ordered a plain cheeseburger with just the cheese on it and received it fully loaded. I also asked for seasoned fries and got plain fries that didn’t even have salt. When we politely brought it up, she argued with my mother, insisting they were seasoned instead of just resolving the issue. I eventually told her I wouldn’t be eating them, and only then did she bring out corn nuggets as a replacement. We also had to ask multiple times just to get extra sauces, which felt like pulling teeth. To make matters worse, someone in our party ordered fish, and their meal didn’t come out until over 20 minutes after the rest of us had already eaten. When it finally arrived, the portion was tiny, extremely greasy, and unrecognizable at what kind of fish it was. Also we also had to continue to remind her of other side dishes that we had ordered and hadn't received yet. This visit was a real disappointment compared to the consistently good experiences we've had here in the past. Hoping it was just an off day, but it definitely left us hesitant to return anytime soon.

My wife and I have driven past this restaurant for years and yesterday got the wild hair to try it. What a wonderful suprise it was! The food was delicious, fairly priced and our waitress Sheila was more than attentive and polite. We will definitely drop by again.

I was passing threw , so I decided to get me something to eat on my way home, I have eaten there before but I usually grab a pork barbecue sandwich & keep it moving, but this time I decided to try something different, so I ordered the rib/ half chicken plate with macaroni & cheese & hash brown potato casserole as my sides!!! When I got home & open up my plate , I was so disappointed!!! The ribs looked liked they was from the day before , they was dry & old looking, no fresh color to them!! No smoke flavor are seasoning & the bones had hardly no meat on them!! The chicken was dry & no smoke flavor or seasoning!! The sides was no better, the hash brown casserole was just potatoes with some cheese on top no flavor at all!! Mac & cheese taste blan , no seasoning at all!!! Their barbeque sauces needs work to!!! Spending over $25 was surely not worth it!!

A busy place for locals. We had chicken fingers and Philly cheesesteak bread sticks. Server very friendly. If you go at lunch be a little patient because the place was full! Very reasonable prices. Kids meal available.

I got a pork sandwich with potato salad. Some of the best potato salad I've ever had; it has red potatoes instead of white. The food was delicious & fresh and the customer service was pleasant for my to go order. Will revisit!

If I could give this a negative, I would. After tip we spent $75 for 2 adults and 1 child. My son almost threw up a few times sitting at the table from the food and I had to go to the DG to get him a bucket so he didn't puke in the car ride home. All three of us got food poisoning from this place. The sides are terrible, the meat is *decent* but the chicken looked under cooked and over cooked at the same time. I wish I could get a refund for how much money we spent to all get sick to our stomachs. Do not go here.

I had a great experience here, sadly we went when it was lunch time, and I really wanted breakfast but I will be back in November for breakfast time! Everything was fresh , customer service was great , me and my family enjoyed & the price value is very reasonable .

Food was ok but not really hot. The place could use some upgrade. The host sat us at a booth with a torn seat where there were other booths with decent seats available. One of the orders the waitress came back with was incorrect.

Always remember the first face, the greeter, the hostess ALWAYS sets the stage for your establishment, your organization, your business. Be careful who you allow, to be in that position. It does NOT need to be ANYONE, who is NOT a people person nor one that does NOT like their job. I don't know if the staff was short handed on Saturday morning.......the customer should NOT be the one having to greet the hostess first, having to MAKE her speak.......Your home office needs to invest in some secret customers to come in randomly. Just because people work in the public eye does NOT make them be, a people person!!! Be careful management, you are at fault, because you are the head & you are responsible, for your staff, their words & their actions, when on the clock. Be careful......

The buffet/salad bar was clean and well maintained. The food was good. The restaurant itself needs a little updating with older carpet and tables/chairs. Nancy was very nice.

Bathrooms not clean. The place seems to be very runown. Food not appealing. Not enough meet choices. But the cabbage was out of this world. Desert was boring and tasteless.

Too expensive for what they have on the Breakfast Buffet. Went to Golden Corral this morning and it was so much better. And less expensive.

These mozzarella sticks are extremely good. You're paying for it! $2.66 a piece we ended up paying $16.23 for 6 of them but they are very filling! Definitely a treat every now and then. The ranch is really good, you have to try it! I don't like the bar so that's why I'm giving atmosphere 2 stars. Service was friendly.

Atmosphere is really chill and laid-back our server was polite and definitely attended to our needs with respect and a smile 10/10 recommended

Ordered 2 chicken crisper meals. The fries tasted like they were cooked earlier in the day and just tossed in our plates. The chicken tenders seemed like they were cooked right but only one was cooked all the way through. Literally made me sick and had to stop eating. On top of that I got none of the sauces requested just ranch. The restaurant was not packed or busy so I do not understand why the food was so horrible.

We eat here quite a lot. We noticed over the last year or two that the service and food has been exceptional. Im not sure what the owner/manager has done to promote the great attitude of the crew, but we have not had bad service or food in quite a long time at this particular restaurant. If you like the food Chili's has, you will not disappointed here. We go at least 3 times per month. Very consistent service and food.

I’m in town for an education residency, so i normally don’t come here but our food and the customer service from all of the staff was great! Jason was our server, another young man brought us our drinks and another young lady brought us our food. Everyone was so kind and friendly. I’ll definitely be back when I’m in town! Thank you guys for providing a great dinner. :)

not first time here but experience is always about same. first off no matter how slow or busy they are the all you can eat catfish comes out very slow ( got here at 4 30 this time ) .we was there about 2 1/2 hours. I will wait em out. Food is just ok, hit and miss . not bad but not great . Our server this time was pretty good at getting catfish out but still slow (not servers fault ). fish taco was mediocre. Catfish is all over place one perfect next one over cooked ( no quality control from management) .Cole slaw very good. beignets are very good. Sweet potato fries good.the one thing for this review was the disgusting bottle of tarter sauce put on our table the pic will show i would never sit a bottle that disgusting on a customers table. Only reason i eat here is for all you can eat catfish.

Once again after visiting this establishment I find the quality of the food still very good. It is a good place to come and get seafood and it is seasoned. The ambience is good and the service is a little laxed but they will get back to you sooner or later. Just be patient and you'll be rewarded with a good dinner. No doubt you'll have to flag somebody down to get your soda cup refilled. All in all it is a great place to sit down and enjoy dinner.

The food is GREAT! Would love if they offered sautéed mushrooms. The service is GREAT! I sit in the new bar area which is nice cause walking distance from hotel...it was a bit chilly from the air vent. Bring a top layer just in case. The atmosphere has a nice vibe with the rustic style feel and local artwork...plenty of tvs to view at any bar seat.

1st visit and I have to say I was very impressed. The cheese grits taste just like mine. They were perfect! The slaw was also perfect! We all went on a Thursday night because they have a special...all you can each peel & eat shrimp. They only bring 5 at a time but our server was a champ.He did an excellent job keeping up with our full table. The butter is also good They put a season in it. I tried the crab dip and that was my favorite of all. The fried crab claws were delicious along with the okra. He kept all of our glasses full. The restaurant is very clean as well as the bathroom. I know we will be back.

Glad we found David’s Catfish House on our route to OK/TX. Cute little place with really good food! Now I don’t like or eat catfish but it is a favorite for my honey! I knew I could find something I would like. I ordered the Tuesday - Thursday Popcorn Shrimp AUCE Special. One serving was way more than I could eat! It came with 2 sides! What a deal for the biggest eaters. I expected a much smaller shrimp than what was served so that was awesome! We had a very friendly server too. Coleslaw was great! Fried Okra is yummy! Desserts!!!! I had a bite of pound cake and it was probably the best I have had, and I am a baker! Go try something! Perfectly fried with non-fried options! They even had Steamed Crab Legs for a great price but I didn’t see that before I ordered. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

September 2021: We love trying new places when we travel to Dothan, always attempting to find new restaurants that will make both of us happy. It's been over 2 years since we stopped in but at the time, it was delicious. I loved the fried catfish and the BF was happy with his burger. But the main star of the meal was some sort of crab dip. That, I adored. Place was clean, fairly busy but the service was excellent. Will eventually circle back around and stop in again in the future.

Let's start of by saying the waitress could improve lots. Waited terribly long for orders and refills. Catfish was okay. Heavily breaded. Fries good. Burger burnt on outside raw inside. Shrimp was good. Coleslaw was sweet tasting and not a thick slaw as I like. Cheesy grits were excellent according to spouse. Was 8 of us at table but 3 on one check 5 on other. Automatic tip of 20% which was terrible for the service we received. Place was half packed at the most. Will not return!! Little on the pricey side.

Best comfort food in town! Great and friendly service. The food is great and reasonably priced.

Every time we drove past this place the parking lot was full so we decided to try it. The staff was friendly and our server was very efficient. Then the food arrived, I was surprised on the generous portions and everything tasted amazing. I can see why this place is always busy. The chicken fried steak was absolutely amazing and the fries were perfectly seasoned. My wife really enjoyed the hash browns and bacon the most. The only down side was a somewhat long wait for a table because of how crowded the place was.

Tony and Suzie were great and made my experience amazing. Tony greeted me within moments of walking in. The food was good, and I ordered the Pork Chops and Eggs. Pork chops were seasoned well, but a tad bit on the dry side. Solid 7.5/10.

Stopped in for breakfast while traveling. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu items. Breakfast was excellent and even the biscuits were very good as well. The entire menu was well thought out with omelets, breakfast bowls, regular breakfast, and even fried catfish for breakfast. I highly recommend Mom’s for a great southern diner.

We had a wonderful breakfast. We went at about 9:30a on a Friday and was able to be seated right away. Our server Tristan was very attentive, friendly, and accommodating. My husband had the house omelet and it was a very large portion. I had the breakfast bowl with ham and it was so delicious. We also shared pumpkin pancakes, which were very delicious, but wasn’t able to finish it all because the portions are so generous! Prices reasonable too. We will be back again and again.

Absolutely the best breakfast in town. The omelettes are great and I love the pancakes here. Seriously the best pancakes in Dothan. The service is always great here as well, very friendly and laid back. My waitress was very patient with me as I tried to order my food and kept making mistakes. 😂🤣 There is plenty of free parking however on Saturday morning this place can get very busy and there may be a wait.

Sweet and efficient waitress. Great breakfast specials. Easy access to highway 231. Cook's always have a hard time preparing over medium eggs properly but it was spot on here. The breakfast sausage patties had an awesome flavor, not the regular frozen variety. The home fries and hash browns were both excellent.I would definitely stop here again.

First time eating here. It seemed very busy unfortunately food was not as expected. My daughter's chicken sandwich was beyond dry. I ordered a barbecue sandwich there was possibly a half cup of barbecue meat on it if that. Pork tasted very bland and was also dry. I could not tell if it was even seasoned. For lunch prices they were very high.

Great food, Good environment. Family friendly with a good variety if meals. Tuesday is FREE sweet Tea day and kids eat 1.99 al day from kids menu. I realy love it and recommended.

Larry's Real Pit Bar-B-Q is the real deal. We have been working in the area for the last week. Their ribs are yummy and for me their lemonade is truly solid.

OMG. This was by far the worst portrayal of barbecue I have tasted. There is no taste of smoked flavor, the ribs are tender, no bbq sauce. It's real pit alright. #RealPit-a-ful

My husband and I found this place by accident, but we're glad we did. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They suggested meals for us to try out since it was our first time there. Prices are pretty decent and on par with the amount of food you get. The food was really good too but they don't give you nearly enough sauce for all the meat you get! That's the only complaint we have. The baked beans have a twang to them - different from how I've ever tasted them. Overall, I had enough food for two meals, which is great since I love having leftovers for later.

First time I have eaten here in awhile. Nasty place wait was long. We got sliced jumbo sandwiches there was hardly any meat in the sandwich and the beans tasted like unseasoned pork n beans. Mostly bread and did have good flavor. Last time going there . Waited in line 30 min after ordering to get food. Such a disappointment

My husband and I had planned to drive out of town to have a special dinner but had to change our plans at the last minute. Being familiar with the choices available to us, we did not have high hopes but remembered "The Cellar" and decided to give it a try. It was a wonderful surprise. We both had a delicious and lovely dinner and will definitely be back! Both of our meals exceeded expectations in taste, quality, and presentation. Also, the prices were very reasonable and the server, Erica, was knowledgeable, attentive, and polite. We are so pleased to have found "The Cellar," and shall recommend to others. We didn't even have time to check out the prepared meals or the butcher counter but intend to do so next time. Great experience!

I was really hoping to be able to say that everyone is right about the Cellar its delious and the perfect date night place in Dothan. But that just wasn't my experience. Let's start with the food. It's not bad, but it's fairly pricey for what it was. I got the ribeye steak, medium rare. My wife got crab cakes. Both the steak and the crab cakes were very good! Especially the crab cakes, the steak was good, but I expected more flavor and maybe a thicker cut than what I got, but again, not bad, it was pretty good. They probably were the sides, I got roasted vegetables and french fries. The fries were delious as you would expect. But the "roasted vegetables" weren't really roasted, more like warmed. It was weird, and the flavor of them was just bland. When I saw roasted vegetables, I was expecting something with a light char to them, not burnt but a little crunch. That was not the case here. My wife got onion rings, and oddly enough, they were below par. The breading wasn't flavorful, just kind of bland. I say all this but heres one reason you should go to the Cellar! The Brisket Nachos! I will come back for this dish alone. They were amazing, it might just be an appetizer but it was the best thing we ate here. If you go to the Cellar, do yourself a favor and get these. You won't be disappointed! Lastly, the atmosphere fell flat. I was looking for a good date spot. But we sat in a half booth half table, sitting next to another group of people having their own meal and conversation. Like right next to us. It gave me the feeling of being in a Mcdonalds and being packed together. The rest of the building was pretty but kind of noisy and hectic. Not really "fine dinning." And lastly, the bar was delicious. We only got one drink from there, but kudos to the bar tender it was good enough to make me wanna try and make it at home. 10/10 on that! All together, The Cellar just wasn't worth the money. It's not bad but for that price I would rather eat somewhere else.

I’ve been here about 5-6 times. Never have been impressed, but this time it was fantastic. Both steaks cooked perfectly, all the sides were good. The service was excellent, shout out to Cheyanne 🎉. Sometimes they say they take reservations and sometimes when u call they say they will not

Food was very good, the appetizer was a little cold and the jalapeño was a little to al dente. The service was nice as well as busy as she was she still attended us appropriately. The filet mignon was very tender even while medium. We will be back

We truly enjoyed our late (2:30) lunch here! The wait staff was so kind and accommodating. The ribeye sandwich was delicious. Pricing was a little on the high side, but unfortunately it is everywhere. There was plenty of food for left overs. Definitely worth it!

My family and I had a very disappointing experience here. When we arrived around 4 p.m. on a Wednesday, the restaurant was practically empty. Instead of seating us right away, the hostess looked annoyed that we were walk-ins and even had to check with the manager before giving us a table for five. As a Hispanic family, it left us feeling judged and unwelcome. For a Dothan restaurant to make seating a family at an off-peak hour an issue is honestly ridiculous. To make matters worse, the food was overpriced and not good at all. Coming from a big city, I know what quality dining looks like — and this was far below the mark in both taste and value. The only positive was our waitress, who was very kind, helpful, and professional. She was the one bright spot in an otherwise disappointing visit. Unfortunately, between the poor food, inflated prices, and the way we were treated upon arrival, I cannot recommend this restaurant.

The waygu was not tender like when I first visited the crab cakes is a no and the crab dip foolishness 😒 just dont do it 😒 I took my son here and 75.00 dollars fir a steak that's not tender is diabolical

Stopped here after an afternoon of walking around Sadie's and nothing about this place disappointed. We got fajitas, which were so fresh and piled high (my husband loved the tomatoes in it, we haven't been anywhere that did that) there was a really great ratio of meat to vegetables which tends to be our biggest issues about fajitas at most places. We also got Arroz con Pollo with a side of beans (on the same plate) and honestly we haven't tasted Refried beans with so much flavor, every single thing was seasoned immaculately. I treated myself to a strawberry Pina coloda the menu said $4.95 but it was $5.95 but tha extra $2 was a non issue in the fact it was amazing! It had a great flavor profile and it came in a chilled (we both think) 24 oz beer mug. It was so good I had almost half of it gone before the food came out. Service was fast, friendly and didn't pester us to leave like some places.
