Well staff group of employees who kept thing humming. Food was delicious. Had the New York strip steak and gumbo soup. My wife suggested we come back on our Anniversary.

A friend told me they made a good pizza. They were correct. It is a very good pizza. I ordered the 9ne called the Warrior. It's a excellent 3 meat pizza. Cheaper than most in the area to. Definitely would recommend to others to try. I'll be going back to try other things on the menu. They are always pretty busy which usually means good food also.

Do not go here and order a salad. You will be highly disappointed! We ordered 2 salads to go and swimming in dressing like to the point just had to throw it away. Seriously its not that hard honestly they should have just put it on the side like we asked but nope they just rather pour a whole bottle in it. Plus the salad itself isnt worth what they charged. first and last time going there. Took pics im gonna try to find a way to post them.

If you are looking for good food, Yanni's is the place to come! Have eaten here every time I come down this way! I had the catfish dinner with a baked potato and salid. Excellent! Other people in my party had pizza, lasagna, grilled cheese, and pork kabobs. All enjoyed their food. Would recommend this restaurant.

We found this on Yelp, I selected it because I felt it would have a Greek owner and I associate good food with Greek owners. My husband had the prime rib in loved it, We both had the tomato basil soup We enjoyed it but we did not really like the macaroni in it, I had the grilled shrimp dinner and it was delicious and plentiful.

A pretty good lunch stop in town. The service was good and the food came quickly. The Patty Melt had a good flavor, but the cheese wasn't melted at all which was disappointing. The Bean and Ham soup was delicious, as was the Grilled Chicken Salad. The fries were terrible: frozen, with little flavor, and a horrible texture.

STOP what you are doing and come here. The salsa is excellent and the very best, and if that isn't enough, they bring out a complimentary freshly made bean dip covered in Queso Cheese 🍲. The Birria Tacos 🌮 🌮🌮 are fantastic 😋. The corn 🌽 chips are hot and fresh. Fresh Food! Friendly Staff! Fast Service! Fantastic Price!

Exactly what you'd expect from a small town Mexican restaurant. Slightly more Americanized than I'd prefer but still very good. I went with my girlfriend and parents and everyone was satisfied with their food. Service and cleanliness were above average for this kind of restaurant.

Just passing through. This was our favorite Mexican resturaunt of the many we've been too. Its just too bad it's 2 hours from where we live and off the beaten path to our travels.

I'm lucky that I discovered this restaurant off of 70 while riding the motorcycle, and will go back ASAP! Alberto treated me like family, and when he realized I liked spicy stuff,.. he brought 2 different hot salsas along with a cheese dip, gratis! Great prices and great quality food, and, somehow, even better service! Thanks San Pedro!

I wasn't a fan of the chips or the salsa, but the vegetarian taco salad was super good, with a good variety of veggies. Everyone was pleased with their meal and my husband loved the salsa.

These guys have really gotten into their groove. Food is always on point. The service is always great. I take my kids all the time.

Located at a convenient spot if you are on the way or coming back from the Fall Creek Falls State Park. Cool looking interiors, friendly staff, overall welcoming restaurant. Comes with a complimentary chips with salsa and beans/cheese dip. I ordered the lunch special and it tasted great! Very crunchy, and the chicken was balanced. Highly recommend stopping at this restaurant if you’re passing by and are hungry!

Visiting the area and saw this restaurant had decent ratings. Had the lunch special. I had the tamale lunch and my husband had the chimichanga. Both were served quickly and hot. Staff was great. Very friendly. Lots of chips. Mild, medium and hot salsas were good. Easily accommodated special requests. Tried the chimichanga cheesecake for dessert, it was just okay.

Tried this Mexican spot for the first time and wow — the birria tacos were *incredible*. So juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cheesy. I legit almost ordered a second round because they were that good. The vibes were chill and the service was solid too. Definitely coming back for those tacos! 🌮🔥

First Rate restaurant all around. From the friendly and helpful staff very clean dining area. The food was absolutely delicious. And I’m not a huge fan of this type of food because some of the restaurants have put me off at the past. However I would eat at this restaurant every day. The chips were absolutely fresh and the salsa delicious. We had a different menu for each one of us and I tasted each item and it was really really good. The chicken was tender and juicy and the ground beef was very tasty. I will definitely give it two Thumbs Way up

They have all coke products! Great service and good vibes, especially for a small town at reasonable prices. Saves you a trip to Cookeville. All the expected fare and a hamburger that slaps 👏!

I have debated about posting this review for over a month. As a family who has eaten at El Tap far too many times to count a recent visit has me confused. My husband and brother stopped in for lunch. By their account food & service was great as usual. The problem came at bill time. They paid seperately. El Tap charged both of them for the chips & salsa. They got one basket of chip & salsa when seated. They were both charged for a full order of chips and salsa. Is this something they have recently started doing? I know in the past when ordering to go they charged for chips & salsa but never have I seen it on our bill at the table. Also never charged twice for the same basket!!

Had a fantastic cozy atmosphere and the food was insanely good. We ordered the soup on a whim and it was the best I've ever had.

Stepping foot into el Tapatio, my friend and I did not know what to expect- being out of towners and all. We ordered the papas Mexicanas to share, and were seriously blown away and touched on a soul level. We devoured all of it. We were so amazed by the quality of food, and equally so- the dazzling service! The staff were so incredibly attentive and kind, quick as could be with the endless Diet Coke refills. I would travel the hour and a half back to Sparta just to come back here! Give them all a raise!!

One of my absolute favorite small town spots! The atmosphere is always warm and inviting, and the hospitality makes you feel right at home every time you walk through the door. You can always count on getting some amazing home cooking here. The burgers are my personal favorite — consistently delicious — but today I decided to branch out and try the BBQ baked potato, and it was just as wonderful. Everything they serve is full of flavor and made with care. If you're looking for great food with a cozy, friendly vibe, this is the place to go!

Truly a southern spot in the heart of Sparta. Upon entering there's an inclosed outdoor seating and dining area. Very clean and upkept. The menu had several options and price is very responsible. I went with the cheeseburger topped with pulled pork I was very indecisive because seeing the friendly server walk out to other tables and everything look appealing. I kept it simple for lunch and was not disappointed.. stop by if your ever in the Sparta area.

It's a BBQ shack. Those are the best kinds. It's like the flavors are soaked into the walls. 😆 I am rating against my Memphis BBQ standards. Meat: Moist and not over cooked. But it needs more smoke. Tasting that smoke is what can set a place a step above. Sauce: Points for not being vinegar or mustard based. It's a thick molasses base. It's good. If it was thinner and had some heat to it, it would be more in line with a Memphis style. So it's not my favorite, but it's a good bite. Serving Size: It's not a tiny bun like some places. It's actually a normal sized bun. So, points there. Overall: If the meat had a little more smoke, the sauce was a little thinner and had some heat, this would a a 5☆. But they are definitely a solid 4☆. Well, worth a try, so stop in and help Jack retire young. PROS: Friendly service, fair prices, Moist meat. Cons: Lack of smoke, sauce is thick and needs heat.

Jack's never disappoints. The patty melt is the dish today. It is so hard to pass up. His food is always great and flavourful. When eating out in Sparta Tennessee, this is always where I go. I can never get enough of the hamburgers or any of the smoked meats. It's always fresh. The staff is always very accommodating, and Jack is very personable. I always love talking barbecue with him. If you're in or around Sparta, you need to come and eat here.

This place is so relaxed feeling. Friendly and family environment delicious food good prices. The waitress is a sweetheart Emma. We came from Kansas and I have to say very juicy hamburgers,Delicious BBQ fries with pulled pork baked beans and yummy nacho cheese sauce I enjoyed every bite.

When you pull up you think “what? no way we’re eating here” … but then you give it a chance & you’re not disappointed! A nice little small town restaurant with great service & good food. I got the Double Bacon Cheeseburger & it was very good. The food is well priced for the portions & the staff is very friendly (: We’re travelers just stopping through & if you’re in the same boat, definitely give this place a try if you like burgers & BBQ!

Excellent bang for your buck. Generous portions and pricing is very reasonable. Had the pulled pork sandwich and the pork was tender and moist, perfectly cooked. Our waitress and all the workers were very friendly and the service was fast. Will definitely be back in the future.

Today, took my cousin for lunch, always a delight. I've been here several times since I moved here. Atmosphere is amazing, food and fruit tea, my favorite, is always perfect. Take my family there each time they come to visit, I give it all a Five!!

The antique store upstairs is very nice. The hostess/owner Brenda is so sweet and welcoming. I enjoyed it so much. I loved the decor she had displayed for Christmas. We will be back as soon as we can!

Miss Marenda's was an utter joy. Other posters have mentioned the side salad, and I whole heatedly endorse their recommendations. Try the homemade poppy seed dressing. Also, the fruit tea. All bread is homemade. If you are in Sparta, you must treat yourself to this family run gem!

My husband and I finally made it to Marioochi’s in Sparta, and we’re so glad we did! We were greeted right away by a friendly hostess and offered the choice to wait 20 minutes for a table or sit immediately at the bar. We chose the bar—and it was perfect. The first thing I noticed was the peaceful atmosphere—no TVs in sight, which made for a relaxing dining experience. The open view of the brick oven was such a nice touch, and the remodel is absolutely beautiful. I couldn’t help but snap a few photos! Our bartender/server, Andy, was fantastic—he gave us a little history of the place, offered great menu suggestions, and made us feel like we were his only guests. We shared the spinach dip and each ordered a pizza (which made amazing leftovers!). The food was delicious and came out fast—thanks to that high-heat brick oven. We can’t wait to come back and try the calzones next time. Highly recommend checking this place out!

A great Italian restaurant. Authentic pizza the way it is made in Italy, especially in Rome. Fresh ingredients, perfectly cooked, thin crust and delightful. Try the garlic knots appetizer. Excellent. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Get there early for dinner, they were very busy by 6:00 pm.

I wish I took a picture of the pizza before we started to eat it but this pizza was sooooo tasty. We tried the Raquel and the Hey Louie, plus the double chocolate cake which is not pictured. The Raquel was incredibly delicious. The highlight of the pizza was the pesto chicken, which was very flavorful. The Hey Louie was great as well. The Italian sausage was very fresh and tasty. Both pizzas were executed with perfection in my opinion, the best pizza that I have tried in my entire life. Lastly, the chocolate cake was very moist and not overly sweet. We ordered our food but once we entered this establishment we were greeted with excellent customer service. Thank you to everyone in this place.

Husband voted for a 5 rating, I was going to do a 3 rating so we compromised eith a 4. The bruschetta was odd to me, others might like it. The bread was thin & small loaded with diced tomatoes, no balsamic. The Bobby was ok, husband liked it. Pepperoni and cheese pizza with the same tiny diced tomatoes as on the bruschetta, no sauce. The chocolate cake was large, ice cold, dense with a rich bitter dark chocolate frosting. The service started well then tapered off significantly.

This restaurant is AMAZING! The food is delicious and the service is always top notice. Such a classy place. When we visit Sparta we always try to stop by for lunch or dinner. Thank you for providing this gem. Oh, and the coffee shop next door and the specialty cheese shop around the corner are a must to visit as well! 😉

First time experience: I placed a pickup order and even the phone interaction was amazing to start. Got there, proceeded to the bar, food was hot and ready. Immediately attended to. Now the food.... Was out of TN level delicious. You will absolutely not find better in this area. I demolished the Caesar salad and Bruschetta I got before I even remembered pictures were a thing. Seriously, must try this place!

Absolutely amazing pizza! Not your traditional pizza with red sauce but oh my was it AMAZING! My husband doesn’t even like pizza and he LOVED this! Our favorite was the Chio Ryan! I also had the Old Fashioned and it was the best the one I have EVER had! Worth the price!!

This restaurant was recommended to us for breakfast so we gave it a try. We wanted breakfast but we missed it by about 15 mins, they stopped serving it at 10:30. I guess we should’ve been quicker at getting out of the door. The food and staff was amazing. The decor made you feel like you were at home. Food came out fast and our server was very helpful. Will definitely eat there again, I just hate we missed out on the breakfast, but lunch was amazing too.

We stopped in here for lunch today and it was amazing. I got the fried fish meal and it was really good. The service was amazing. I am so excited to have stumbled across this gem! I knew this place would get my 5 star recommendation even before the food came out. The ladies were SO kind and attentive, especially to my 2.5 y/o son. They made him feel special and welcomed, smilng and waving each time they walked by. The service was wonderful and fast. Coffee was great. The food was delicious- the tenderloin biscuit was about the best I've had! Thank you and we will be back. 😊

Est. 2015. Roberts Diner is affordable, expedient and hits the spot. Sausage gravy is delicious, country fried steak is tender and service is with a smile. Angi was great!

If you're in Sparta, then you have to come and have breakfast here at Rise & Shine Cafe II. Any questions I had about the menu were answered. Everyone here was pleasant to talk with! Food came out hot and quick! I definitely recommend the country ham breastfast, it was delicious!

Just had the perfect, delicious home style breakfast, just what I needed on my last leg home! Only complaint is there was only one server running the entire front house. She seemed a little stressed, understandably. But I am not sorry I came by. Mmmm!

Food was definitely not what we were hoping for. Stopped in for breakfast and was sadly disappointed. Feel as though people have forgotten what good down home cooking and flavorful food is anymore. Homefries were flavorless. Gravy was barely warm bordering on being cool and nobody came to refill drinks or check on us after our food was served. We Love to try small home town places while we travel instead of chain resteraunts. We will not being stopping in here again.

My first and my last time stopping here for breakfast. The menu includes no prices for meals. When I asked my server why this was, she replied, "you will have to ask the boss lady, she made the menu". My plate of food was slammed down within three to four inches of my face while I was looking down at my phone. I was never offered a second cup of coffee: I waited ten minutes for more coffee (which never happened), paid my bill, and left. The wall beside of my table was filthy. It probably has not been washed in years, let alone painted. The wait time was fine, the food was o.k., but not great, and my server seemed to have a bad attitude.

I love this place! Every time I've eaten there the food has been AMAZING! They have some of the best grits I've ever eaten in my life. They are so full of flavor and so creamy! No matter what I've eaten it's always been amazing. I will forever come here. Great services. Great prices! Destiny was our waitress. She was phenomenal! Working with one hand due to right being fractured in several places, she still flew around seeing to everyone! Destany has done an amazing job on numerous accounts!! Every time my family comes in she welcome’s us so graciously, the food comes quickly and our drinks never go empty. Shes the kind of waitress you want serving you and your family!

I love coming here to eat, and I continue to every weekend. Even when busy, we all are taken care of. Anna and Michael (management/owners) are incredible people. To work along side their employees and treat us as family. They truly go above and beyond and not many restaurant owners do. Love love love it here and I hope to keep returning for years to come.

I stopped in at 6am to grab a quick bite to eat and had two of the greatest waitresses, Destany & Tiffany. They are awesome! Keri is the cook and it's some of the best food I have eaten! The owner is named Anna and she's running a great management. 10/10 will be back!

Destiny was the star. They were extremely busy. Never seen it so busy. All the staff had an amazing demeanor and attitude. They were helping each other. These folks needs some recognition for their service! Will return soon!

Edit: visited here again, and they've upped their game. Our server was prompt and friendly and the food was wonderful. I got another chocolate chip waffle and they'll actually put the chips inside the waffle unlike similar places. They also give free meals to Vets on Veterans Day. Service has always been lacking. Out of the two times I've been here, both times they've forgotten part of my order. The place is short staffed and they do what they can, but they desperately need some new management. The food I did receive was good. MVP with a chocolate chip waffle, sausage, and biscuit 'n gravy.

My husband and I went to huddle house for dinner tonight around 5:00pm and Julie and Rachel on 2nd shift was the cooking and server. It was great service great food, and my husband said that it was the best hamburger steak he's had at this huddlehouse.

The shrimp isn't cleaned properly we had several peice on our plates and only two or three had been de-vained making only those safe to eat. Other than that the rest was good.

For a Chinese buffet, it was excellent. Food was above average. Only issue I had was the white rice was nowhere near the fried rice so I had ask where to find it (it's with the sushi by the back wall).

This was, without a doubt, the worst Chinese buffet that I've been to, in a very, very long time. The food was like warm, at best. Very dry, and flavorless. I'm glad we were just passing through town, and don't have to worry about this being our only choice for Chinese food. Obviously, the managers or owners don't care about serving a good quality product. I'd be embarrassed if I were them.

Buffets are not for me. Time or 2 got sick after. May have been unrelated but kids are allowed to help themselves. I have Hygiene issues with this. Basically if you like buffets this is an average one.

This is a pretty good Chinese place for being in the middle of nowhere Sparta, Tennessee. The negative reviews on here act like this is a major metropolis or something. And Richard's review below me doesn't know the difference between worse and worst. Should tell you all you need to know about his review. The kid that waited on us was fine and the food was fine. It's a small business. Have level headed expectations and you won't be disappointed.

Food was delightfully good for a buffet. We were there in between lunch and dinner but all the food was fresh and hot. Very good sauces and even a good variety of desserts

Marisha Webb has taken over Hiillcrest Restaurant from her dad and has created Flour Child Bakery. The menu has fresh milled grains and pastries. My husband and I each tried a Kolache for the first time, which is homemade soft bread wrapped around meat & cheese. Wonderful! !! She also has other homemade foods such as lasagna & soups. Then, we splurged and ordered homemade Cherry Cobbler and homemade Vanilla Ice Cream!!! Delicious isn’t even a word that does it justice!!!! Finding homemade foods has truly gone out of style, so it’s so nice to find someone dedicated to how things USE to be! 🥰

Visited this restaurant this past weekend while staying on centerhill lake and had the taco burger. It was so good and the fries were great! The girl that works there is super sweet and I loved the music videos they were playing on the TVs lol. Great place! Would love to go back next time I'm in the area. :)

We had the best home cooked dinner! The owner, who cooks and is also the server, was great! We definitely chose the right time to go. As soon as we placed our order, the little restaurant was full! So, get there early! But if you're in the area, HIGHLY RECOMMEND! The food (including dessert) was delicious!

Quaint, family-owned and operated little restaurant. Friendly and personable waitress (the daughter) serving up delicious homemade food by the local cook (the dad). If you get bored, there’s a steady stream of music videos playing on the several wall-mounted televisions with a playlist of very eclectic musical taste. The restaurant has funny hours, but if you can catch it when they’re open, you won’t be disappointed.

Try the Tennessee Toothpicks. The photo I posted was after I lost control after the first bite. The ground hamburger plate was great. This has to be the best home cooked meal we have had since hitting the road 9 months ago. The only thing better than the food was the friendly staff. We will be back while we are staying at Ragland Bottom Staye Park.

My favorite item is the hamburger steak and the grilled potatoes. The seasoning is wonderful on both of them. We will continue to eat here any chance we get!

This restaurant is a Gem. Their food is excellent, service great, prices are very reasonable. Had the Grilled Hamburger steak w/onions, grilled potatoes and salad with homemade Bleu cheese salad dressing. Great desserts. The owners take care of their customers well. I will definitely be back. Service was fast and welcoming. Only complaints I have are that they didn't squeeze my limes in my limeade, and that their store looks like it hasn't been taken care of very well.

They are always willing to make my son's burger like the #7 burger . He wont eat it any other way. Always smiling when coming up to the car ! Would recommend this place to eat if you re in a hurry. They are pretty quick about getting your food out !

I went there the other day. The music was so loud I could barely hear the girl on the speaker. So I know she could barely hear me too. I ordered my food and I didn’t notice at the time she had typed it in wrong and at that point I already paid so I pushed the button and told her what was wrong so she changed it and tried to charge me more. So I asked to speak to the manager he came out there. I told him what was going on and that the music was too loud so I’m not surprised she got the order wrong. And I told him I shouldn’t have to pay extra for something when I ordered it right and she put it in wrong so I told him I would like my money back and proof that they put it back on my card and I told him I would just go somewhere else. maybe if the music wasn’t blaring, she may be able to hear my order correctly or she may have not been paying attention either way it’s not my fault I corrected her when I noticed it was wrong. Maybe turn down the music so people can hear each other.

Terrible. When visiting family, we always make a point to stop at the Sonic in Sparta. Tonight was awful. Out of 5 burgers, 3 had wrong condiments even though the stickers were correct. Burgers were COLD and bun was falling apart. We couldn't eat three of the burgers. After spending $48, very disappointed.

People was acting stupid last night my slushy were terrible my blue nerd slushy was next even mixed

Got a deluxe seafood platter, and it was so horrible. Fish swimming in oil deviled crabs were burnt, and no meat was left. The shrimp was so hard I couldn't eat it. Coleslaw seemed like it had sit all day. My husband's fish sandwich was like eating cooking oil. To pay $19.07, this was nothing but slop fit for a hog. Started calling at 5:30 pm and kept calling until 7:00 pm No one would pick up the phone.

After receiving my order at the counter, I fixed my drink and sat down at a booth. That’s when I noticed the putrid smell. I thought it was something in the booth, so I moved to another booth and the smell was still there. I started to think the lady sitting across from me might have pissed her drawers. I finally realized the nasty smell was coming from the plastic tray they served my food on. When I say it was bad, please believe me that it was beyond bad. How does this happen? How do the employees not smell that? My work partner picked his tray up to smell it and his was the same way. Management needs to get this figured out. I won’t be back.

I ordered the new garlic butter shrimp and garlic butter fries. Not at all like pictured! Shrimp were small some popcorn size. Greasy and not very good. The regular shrimp are way more impressive! As for the fries.... Well they were the same as my hubby's regular fries but had some garlic powder on them. What happened to the garlic butter?! Don't waste your money on these.

The staff worked quickly to get us our food. My kids said their chicken was kind of tough, but had good flavor. My husband and I enjoyed our catfish meals. The fish was hot, fresh, and good which is a plus 😊 most restaurants don't cook greens beans well so I was surprised that I liked them him. They loved the corn as well. I would visit again..

The drive through service was really bad. I ordered baked fish so they took a very long time for my order . Then said it was the microwave was not working properly but yet others were getting there food and driving off while I sat for 25-30 after paying for my food in the drive thru .

Sparta Tennessee location...poor SLOW SERVICE! They were definitely more interested in filling their drive thru orders than the people seated in dining room. We were the only 2 people in dining room and it took over 30 minutes to receive our mediocre food.

Haven't visited a Capt Ds in about 5 years. Lots of menu items. Only car in drive thru, took about 13 minutes from order to food handed to me. Which was expected if it were all fresh. Fries were not warm, a few items were fresh. Friendly lady at the window. Not great, not bad and the only seafood-ish place in this town so it'll have to do.

Nice surprise in this small town! Travelling for work with two others, including a vegan. I had the jalapeño burger with onion, the vegan had the jalapeño burger, but no burger and fries. The other was the smash burger. They did a fabulous job accommodating the vegan! A little bit of feedback was with the tator tots - overcooked- and the generous sauces made the buns a little mushy.

We have always loved Franks! But, the last two times we have ordered, the food is way over cooked. The tator tots, fries and chicken were very hard and tasted bad. My husband said the Philly streak was great. Disappointed that we spent $50 + and couldn’t eat.

I am glad that the locals like this place. Our food was below mid. My chicken tenders & tater tots tasted like they came straight out of the freezer & weren’t even cooked well. Vibes in the restaurant were good. The wait staff was good too

Absolutely love Frank's my family and I eat there on the regular. Wraps are wonderful and so tasteful. Hubby gets the wings and they are always a hit. Even the kids food is so good. They are really well portioned as well. Highly recommend

Franks is great! We don’t live in Sparta and was just passing through and was pleasantly surprised. They were packed so we sat at the bar, the waitress was very friendly, answering questions we had about the menu. The food was delicious and we will definitely be back! You won’t be disappointed

No clear direction when you walk in that it is a seat yourself. We weren't sure what to do. We figured it out. We had a decent server but not much checking back with us after we got our food. Not complaining some people dont like to be bothered once they have gotten their food but drink refills would have been nice. We were there on wing night and the sauce was good but we tasted more sauce than the wings. They were drowned in sauce. Everything else we had wasn't bad. Maybe we will try again another night.

Great food, excellent menu selections, and a very clean restaurant! The staff is very friendly, courteous and they also provide detailed information on each menu item. The restrooms are clean, plenty of seating in the dining area and the restaurant has easy access from the highway. I highly recommend the White Possom Grille. Try it sometime and you’ll become Possomifed!

The food was delicious. The staff was extremely friendly! Already planning and can't wait until my next visit! I had the chicken and dressing with mashed potatoes, mac and cheese and white beans. My husband ate the brown sugar glazed meatloaf, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese and turnip greens.

Today we were passing through Sparta, on our way home from a weekend getaway. Decided to visit The White Possum for the second time. Any problems from the past are history. Excellent, polite, and attentive staff. The food is definitely fit for a king. Top notch all the way. We both had the fried chicken strips, fries, and fried okra. We WILL return!!!!!

We put off eating here because of the name (sorry, possum and food make me think "roadkill"), but finally gave it a go, not expecting anything great. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed my burger. It was a take on a Philly cheesesteak, with grilled onions and peppers and a delicious cheese sauce. Also very pleased with the gluten free bun option. Sides were good too. Lost a star because the table top and menus were sticky. A little more soap and elbow grease and I will repost with 5 stars.

We visited for the Valentine's dinner and being our first time there it was absolutely amazing. The steaks were cooked perfectly and the sides were delicious. Great job to Nathan, what an asset to WP. Although we didn't get our soup until our meal was over, everything was great!!. We will definitely be back.

Service was wonderful, attentive and friendly. We enjoyed the spinach dip. Their menu is vast and offers many different and unique to WP entrees such as their Chicken Rouge...very good. We've been to both locations and they've been consistent each time!

Well went and got chicken livers and who wants to eat black chicken livers so took them back in and asked for fresh ones not over cooked and the response was they all come out like that because they aren't allowed to change the oil and that's gross got a fresh batch and my cat wouldn't even eat them so there's that will not be ordering anything else from that kfc

Honestly, I hate leaving bad reviews but this was a horrible experience. I went to pick up a mobile order that said it would be ready at 615. I got there at 614. We waited until like 632 before anyone asked us what we were waiting on. Then they said that order had been completed and someone picked it up. I was like, it wasn’t me? I’ve been here for like 20 mins. So then one employee was kinda hateful for no reason, I was just wanting my food and was being polite, I know it’s not an easy job and have all the respect in the world for food workers. So then a manager who seemed nice but very overworked came and said remake the order. They had ran out of biscuits and were waiting on them because I could hear them talking to each other and they were 2 minutes out. She handed me the food and I got home and of course, no biscuits. The employee knew that they were giving me the order with no biscuits but did anyways. The large fries with the meal was also literally half crumbs. I hate leaving bad reviews but this one kinda blew my mind. I have never had an experience like this one at this KFC and hate it happened.

For the second time I have ordered chicken livers from here and when I get home they are burnt beyond even eating. I didn't take them back because I got them on my way to work, customers would be more understanding for you to say we are out then for someone like me to go all the way to work and end up not having food for my lunch.

Everytime we order from here it's always messed up. Don't leave until you go through your bucket of chicken. Count the pieces to make sure they didn't short you or just give you just thighs and legs instead of the normal 8 piece. We have ordered a 12 piece and get home to find out they only gave us 8. Unfortunately going to this location is the only option when you have a late evening from work and don't want to drive up to cookeville.

Is there a no star option. They didn't have chicken on the buffet. Isn't it a chicken place. I asked the staff and I was told no chicken until after 3. Never going back. Floors were slick with grease especially in the bathroom.

My husband loves KFC chicken and his desire to try their buffet sent us on a 30 mile one way trip to Sparta, Tenn. The staff was friendly and many people going through the drive-thru window and some inside customers. I couldn't tell what some of the food items were because they looked warmed up too long or leftover from another day. The macaroni and cheese looked very dry as did the other foods that were unknown. Sorry but I tell the truth. There's room for improvement. One of the staff brought my husband some apple pie and brought me some half and half tea when she overheard me tell my husband that I would like tea. I just didn't see it. She deserves a star for her outstsnding customer service!

Good morning, I have been a Domino's customer for over 30 years and a loyal customer at the Sparta Tennessee store from the time we moved here 7 years ago. The management of the staff exceeds my expectations. There are always ready to serve and meet me with a "hi Tex" did you place an order?" They always show me my pizza. If I ever need an employee any of this particular management staff would be hired immediately. It's been said employees reflect the attitude of management and owner. Super consistent, never had a problem with this location. Pizza is always fresh and delicious. Pick up window is convenient as hell.

Ordered my pizza thru app specifically to have a hot fresh lunch. Less than a mile from location and my food was just oven warm. Cheese was not gooey and grease was already absorbed into the box. When I got back to the office, I checked my app, it said: ordered at 1:22, ready for pick up by 1:26 FASTEST COOKING TIME EVER: 3 min On the box it said taken at 1:36 How is that possible when It took me 2 min to drive there, ordered on the way and I pulled back into my office by 1:35??? I was greeted and welcome by the young lady so at least that was nice.

I used to order pizza from here all the time but I rarely do anymore because they don’t know how to follow order instructions, they don’t know how to use damn sauce , if I wanted pepperoni cheese bread I would’ve went to dominos , nor do they know how to cut a pizza (asked for extra sauce)

Pizza worth the money definitely a budget dinner. 15 minutes waiting for a Hot n Ready.. no music or anything while. You wait kinda boring. Overall cheap price for a decent bite to eat.

I never thought I’d say Little Caesars, is by far better than Pizza Hut. It most definitely is. The food was hot, service was prompt, and the price was great for everything I ordered.

More than 1/2 the time, they either mess up the order or the food quality is bad. I’ve submitted a review each time to customer service and they either credit or add points very responsive. However, this is the email I received for my last experience where I ordered off the app and picked up my order and there was no cheese on either sandwich after you drive away of course. I had to go back and go inside the restaurant again to correct. They fixed it but we’re very rude and never apologized. Check out this response from corporate after not addressing it in the store. Food was good but sandwiches were on the small side like sliders. They were very good. I was really surprised at the size. Staff was nice and it was pretty clean. Seats are hard plastic so not very comfortable. Too low to ground for seniors with mobility issues.

only been here 3 times since living in sparta. the first time was fine. the second time the one thing i wanted on the menu they said they couldn’t make, then why have it on there? the third time they told me they couldn’t make the slush i wanted and forgot my marinara sauce that i specifically asked for. y’all’s job ain’t hard. just flip some burgers and put fries in the bag people.

Sunday May 12, 2024 our party of four stopped in for a quick bite and ordered two of the Whopper Junior Dou meals. The order was correctly taken in a prompt fashion and was ready within a couple of minutes. The entire place was clean and we all sat at a booth. The fries were hot. Some of our buns were a little stale but the rest was good. Restrooms were clean and well stocked and the employees were all busy cleaning, washing windows and making sure the condiments were stocked, as they were.

Decided to stop by since they recently rebuilt a much needed store front. Food was fresh, drive thru was not bad even though packed out, the drive thru speaker was screaming at me and I had to yell to order that needs some adjustment. Clean place. Friendly people. The new ghost pepper stuff had zero spice to it.

It has been better. If you want fish or jalapeno poppers go somewhere else.

I had two hours before my ordered help shows up for my job here and was wanting lunch so I went to this small town in Tennessee and found a hidden gem. I was surprised there was a Greek restaurant here. This one is actually amazing for being small town Tennessee. The staff was super friendly and the food was amazing. I would suggest this place to friends and family if I lived here. The atmosphere was a small town feel and totally took me back to my roots.

After a doctor's appointment, on a whim, my husband and I pulled in to this sweet little restaurant, because I needed to eat after a blood draw. Service was a little slow, as there were so many folks waiting to place to go orders, but the staff was friendly and moved as quickly as they could. Give a little grace if they're busy - trust me when I say that it's worth it. I ordered a number five, and when I say that after the first bite, all illusion of lady like dignity went out the window, I mean it. These are the BEST gyros I've had in years. Everything appears to be made in house, and the flavors just sing. You can taste the freshness, and feel the pride these people have in their food. Ask for the tzatziki sauce. I'm fairly certain it's made in house and it's some of the best I've ever had. I'm so happy to have found this hidden gem close to home. I can't wait to come again! Thanks, Achilles!

On our way to Nashville, we spent the night in Sparta, Tennessee and had an enjoyable dinner at Achilles Greek Grill. It is run by a very nice greek family. They have an extensive menu and several kinds of beer on tap. The food is good and very reasonably priced. We like it enough to come back for breakfast.

So I finally decided to do this review after my 3rd experience with them. In all honesty the food is decent. It’s not bad. Not great, but not bad at all. I would give it a 3.5. The fries are very solid. The falafel has been hit or miss. The first time I tried it it was pretty good. Second time was bad and this time it was average. They give you a pretty straight forward falafel so don’t expect anything crazy. I have requested hummus on my falafel sandwich every time and each time they tell me I have to order a side of hummus and put it on my self. Even if they just had a small up charge to put some hummus on the sandwich I would happily pay it. It’s a place that I see myself occasionally popping by. The prices are fair. Like I said it’s by no means bad. A slightly above average place.

What we ordered was great. With a large choice of food we found something for every one. From Breakfast, to veggie pizza. Sorry didn't get any pictures kids cleaned the plates to fast. Yum

Very nice place, with plenty of choices of a variety of food. Their main offerings are Greek but the have meat + meals, hamburgers, & pizza. They have beer. The restaurant has plenty of tables and is clean. The server was very attentive and nice. I had a gyro & rice. The rice was very good, I had to ask for the tzatziki sauce as it didn't come with the sandwich. The tzatziki was a little thin but fine.

I absolutely love this place 😍 Their food is so delicious 😋 I believe it's some of the best food I've ever tasted ❤️. My husband got an philly cheese steak sandwich and I got a cheeseburger with everything on it which was very delicious and we got our daughter chicken strips and fries also 😊I would gladly recommend everyone to give it a try! I guarantee you won't regret it!

My wife and I went Friday night for a date. The setting is nice, casual but extremely clean. I started with a Calfkiller Stout which had a good, rich coffee flavor. For an appetizer, we ordered Garlic Cheese Bread - not a good choice, reminded me of something you'd get frozen at the store. For my entree, I got the Prime Dip with Mashed Potatoes; it was phenomenal. The meat was tasty, tender, and juicy and the au jus paired nicely. The mashed potatoes and gravy were delicious, however the green beans were bland. My wife got the Black & Bleu burger with fries; it was also amazing. The burger was crispy, but not dry, and the Bleu cheese dressing had just the right amount of flavor. The fries were fresh and crispy. The wait staff was fast and friendly. We will be back again and again, as this is one of the best restaurants in Sparta.

I had the pleasure of eating at The Tavern for lunch today. We had excellent service. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable and offered great options. I had the BEST black & blue smash burger I’ve had in years. My group also enjoyed the curry & sage chicken salad. The owner stopped by to chat. It’s a great little pub. A must do if in Sparta. I will be returning soon.

So glad we found this little gem! From the moment we walked in we felt welcomed and appreciated as patrons. Even though it was between meal hours we were greeted, seated and made aware that there were still options for a snack. Everything we ordered was so good, and the home made honey mustard dressing was the best ever. We love supporting small local businesses and will definitely be back. Other establishments in the area should take a lesson in customer service from this wonderful place.

If I could I would give zero stars. The soda I got completely flavorless (obviously not checking their syrups) they forgot the avocado sauces that I was charged for and even questioned if I had it on my order. And to top it all off I find a long black hair in my loaded potatoes!!!! I have med blonde hair. And when I called the manager the only thing he said was "do you want me to replace it for you" as if it was a joke to them. I've never been so disgusted with this restraint until now.

The best Taco Bell for at least a hundred miles. I eat taco bell way more than I should, and this one is objectively the best around. It's clean, it's fast, and I think I've only had an order once in the last 10 years or so and they fixed that without any issues. Service is always fast and good, never had an issue here, can't say that about most of them. It's just a solid taco bell, not much else to say!

As a fire inspector, I visit a wide range of businesses and can often gauge the overall quality of an operation by how it's run behind the scenes. This Taco Bell stands out as the cleanest and most well-managed facility I’ve encountered in the past year. The level of leadership, teamwork, and coordination here is impressive and clearly focused on delivering exceptional customer service. The store is spotless—from the kitchen to the dining area to the exterior. I even saw a team member sweeping the parking lot, which speaks volumes about their attention to detail. Highly recommend this location.

If I could give this taco bell 10/10 stars I would. The inside was very clean, hot sauces STOCKED. The service was impeccable, our server was very friendly and the food came out in about 3 mins - very fast. The food was the best taco bell I have ever had - FRESH and tasty. The crunchwraps were delicious and came with guac. The veggie bowl was better than chipotle and was very satisfying. I love taco bell.

I ordered on the mobile app for my boss to go pick up for my lunch. Paid full price for this berry freeze for it to not be FULL. It has melted a little but not enough for it to look like that. I normally do not write reviews or complain but this is annoying.

For fast food, it does its job. You get what you pay for, food is consistent, and compared to other fast foods in the area, the staff has it together.

The atmosphere at this charming farm store in a converted barn was fantastic! Fresh milk and beef products are available as well as a good selection of ice cream and menu that is perfect for a light lunch. We had a Patty Melt and Brisket sandwich with a margarita key lime pie for desert. Every thing was good at a fair price. The pie was definitely our favorite. Complaint are minimal, the brisket didn’t have a smoked crust or flavor but there is a smoker behind the kitchen. I just didn’t see or taste the characteristics of smoked brisket. The service was good but seemed unorganized considering most of the menu is premade. Also only one stall in the restroom and the hikers from the near by falls were in a hurry to get their chance to use the restroom. I assume people preferred to use it instead of those provided at the falls. I was raised in Texas so brisket is a staple for me so I am a tough critic I know but it was still a decent sandwich and the bun was delicious. We really liked the charm and freshness of the this place a lot.

Really cool place! I had been wanting to check it out for a while and finally was able to stop by. The atmosphere is awesome, the food was great, the prices are right, and everyone is very nice. Fried green tomatoes were excellent. Lots of little table games to play with the kids. Definitely want to go back.

The food was great and the staff were very friendly. We got there late with a largish group and they served us with a smile. My kids got the pork and pimento sandwiches. The bun didn't stand a chance with that much goodness on it. The picture is their regular pulled pork BBQ.

Decided to finally try this place and I am so glad we did. This is a hidden gem tucked away near Burgess Falls. This farm to table restaurant is a breath of fresh air. It's located in the cutest barn and they offer a small store of local handmade goods. I ordered a cheeseburger, onion rings, and coleslaw. You can tell that the ingredients they use are of quality. The burger was flavorful and hit the spot. The onion rings although they were fried had a unique batter and wasn't greasy as all. They were some of the best onion rings I've ever had. The coleslaw was the star of the show though. It is by far the best coleslaw I've ever had. I would bathe in this coleslaw lol. I would literally go back just for the coleslaw alone. After all this food I wanted a sweet treat so I ordered a strawberry ice cream made with real strawberries. It was unlike any strawberry ice cream I've ever had. Most have an artificial taste this didn't at all. It was so creamy and delicious and was the best way to end a great meal. I will definitely be going back!

Such a great find! We had been out all morning hiking the local waterfalls and were looking for some lunch to fuel up for our afternoon hikes. We drove by this cute red barn perched on a hill just outside of Burgess State Park and smelled something delicious and we had to stop. We ordered the burgers, BLT, potato salad, ranch bean and sweet tea. Everything was delicious! The ladies behind the counter were so friendly and the service was quick and efficient. Finished up our lunch with some homemade ice cream. AAA+++ Highly recommend

FYI this Subway no longer accepts the online BOGO promo codes. The staff was very nice and were great about communicating that my order was late. They had a rush before 5 pm. So 4:50 is a bad time to select if you are in a hurry. I had to wait over 12 minutes past my pick up time. I wish Subway still would write the names of the subs on the outside of the wrapper on large orders. We had 6 subs and had to open them to distribute. I do like the convenience of walking in to pick up from the shelf when the order is ready.

This is referring to the Subway inside Walmart in Sparta. The price has increased substantially for mediocre food since I last went to Subway. The service was poor from the sandwich "artist". Overall, Subway went from serving food I liked to a place I rarely go. This visit further cements the inferiority of the food and brand. Other sandwich locations serve better tasting breads, meats, and toppings. I did like the paper-thin tomato slices and that is the only good thing I have left to say about Subway.

My last two visits have resulted in a 15 minute wait due to prioritizing mobile orders over the only customer standing in the store. Will not be returning, better ways to use the time in my day.

Sandwich was decent, well made, it just seemed that the ingredients weren't the freshest. Really wish they still had Miss Vickie's salt & vinegar chips, instead of just the substandard jalapeno. Restaurant was clean.

Not sure if this subway is corporate owned or private owned, but anytime I go with my husband it’s probably the nastiest looking “fast food” there is. We’ve been having to go here because the one in walmart’s toaster is broken. The floor is always filthy, with trash and crumbs everywhere, the chairs need a deep clean with bleach. The countertop where the sandwiches are prepared are scattered with just about every ingredient in the place and not wiped down after every sandwich is prepared like it’s supposed to be. I went to fill my drink, and as soon as I set my cup down for a lid a bunch of nats came out of the trash. I understand some places get busy but it doesn’t hurt to clean up and look presentable. Please do better.

I never thought that I would try pasta from a Mexican restaurant, but it sounded delicious from the discretion on the menu. I ordered the pasta Azteca. From the first bit I was hooked. It was fantastic. Loved the service and experience here.

Very good Mexican food in Ravenscroft. The restaurant is not fancy but it is clean and comfortable. The service from Junior was excellent. The front entrance is not ADA compliant but the side door is accessible with no steps. The salsa is good but the chips were thick and stale. Both of our entrees were delicious although the Shrimp Fuego it not even close to hot, and the fried ice cream topped off the experience with us planning our next meal. Update Many of the pictures show food items no longer on the menu or available, e.g. black beans, Shrimp Avocado, caramel sauce on the Fried Ice Cream. They’re removing the items that made them different and better than anything in the Sparta area. It’s not worth the 40 mile drive anymore unless we’re passing through.

We were traveling through town and live in another state. This restaurant is a dining GEM! Don’t let the mundane storefront fool you. The atmosphere inside is authentic and lovely. Service was excellent and the food delicious. The chips are light and crispy. The salsa is chunky and very fresh taking (the cilantro helps!). Best we’ve had in a long time. (Oh, and had a bowl of white cheese dip that you’ll want to drink out of the bowl. 😂) We had two dinners: the chicken fajita and “crazy” burrito. The chicken was deliciously seasoned and tender, and the portion was large. The burrito is a 12” flour tortilla was stuffed with grilled steak, pico and guacamole. It was topped with cheese sauce and chorizo. Amazing! The rice and beans accompanying each meal were excellent. The prices are very fair for the food delivered. Many thanks to the staff for giving us a great dining experience.

Super nice location located conveniently on Bon Air. They have a great selection and the food was great. I did have a chewy piece of chicken and they forgot my jalapeños, and even still I would recommend this place to everyone. The Chile Relleno comes with am egg and is the best you'll ever have. Service was friendly and the prices were cheaper than other Mexican places.

I placed a to go order. I wanted a Shredded Beef Chimichanga which I ordered one other time (they don't offer it on menu but substituted for me before). The girl said, "That's the steak chimichanga." I didn't think she was correct but ordered it anyway. I got home and had a strip steak NOT shredded beef and it had green peppers! The strips of steak were way over done first off between the "chewy not crispy shell" and the over done strips of steak I had to saw thru it to take a bite! Then there was a MOUND of green peppers. I have been eating Shreadded Beef Chimichanga's for 50 years and NEVER has it had green pepper on it. I HATE green pepper! I picked out huge strips of it it amounted to about 1/4 of a cup of green peppers on ONE chimichanga! If you dislike green peppers like I do you know even if you pick them off the flavor has already permeated the rest of the ingredients so it pretty much was a chewy green pepper flavored mess! I'd say between the large strips of onion's and green pepper's there was half that and half meat. (Very little meat) I paid $17.02 for this garbage...

Ordered 1 order of chicken, steak and shrimp fajitas. 2 ice tea, 1 small cheese dip, and 1 small guacamole. Total bill 40.55$ That's correct 40.55$ Can eat in Sparta, same thing...30$ a d much better food. Will NOT go back.

One of the best burgers in the area. The restaurant is a little shabby but their health score is a 94. Our burger’s were cooked perfectly and they even toasted the buns. They also have crinkle cut French fries which are our personal favorites. The soft drinks are in cans but they only charge 1 dollar per can. Their prices are very reasonable.

Googled "food near me" while fueling up, Sparta Grill was at the top Mary was there to greet us, take our order, cook our burgers AND check us out! A one woman show... Burgers, spicy chicken sandwich, crinkle fries and tots were top notch. The tiny place is tucked away (asked somone walking by where it was). According to Mary, its been there since 1954!. The original, still functioning, cash register is being used. There's no bathroom, but the pool hall, 2 doors down is open to Sparta Gill patrons, and likely anyone else who enters. Simple, clean, dark....Full of memorabilia from the decades. Step on in!

Passing through town and I searched online for the best burger around and it led me here - the burger and fries were super good! And the sweet tea was the best I've had in a long time. Definitely worth stopping by this small little diner! I loved it here!

Excellent sandwich! And this is coming from a non-sandwich person that will almost always pick something else. Highly recommend the Heavenly Pork pressed sandwich. Only thing that wasn't excellent was the perfectly adequate potato salad.

Very good!! My Reuben sandwich was tender and delicious, I asked for extra sauerkraut. And also loved the pickles.

I thought it was great. The spinach triangles are amazing, my husband and I loved them. I had the combination kabob platter which was delicious and my husband ordered the burger with bacon. He said that the burger patty was a bit overcooked but still tasted good. We also ordered baclava and carrot cake. The theme inside was lacking something, maybe just some decor since it is a new establishment. Since they have so many Greek items on the menu maybe they should run with a Greek theme and smash some plates occasionally and yell out Opa. I really enjoy the food, service was great and food came out quick even though the restaurant was full. Will definitely be back.

Shrimp skewer was so good! I can have two more. Greek salad was huge that can feed three people actually. Buffalo wings was juicy and flavorful. Pork chop was seasoned perfect and I like it. Friendly server and chill atmosphere, recommended.

Opa! Wowza! And How do you do! We were given a recommendation from a friend of my husband. How happy we are that we listened! As you walk in the first thing you see is a beautiful brick wall that I believe is part of the original building. Eyes upward and you will see beautiful tiles from days gone by. The aromas filling the dining area start making your mouth water in eager anticipation of what’s to come. With local brew, Calfkiller, on tap, you can never go wrong. I can never remember the names so I simply ask for the darkest brew available. The lit shelves in the bar area proudly display the wide array of spirits on hand to quench any thirst . We are so excited by the menu items we can hardly wait to get back down there! Grouper! Souvlaki! Pastas! Steaks! And desserts oh my! Run don’t walk to see for yourself, you won’t regret it! I also recommend asking for Ms Cayleigh, she is smart, attentive and courteous. I promise she will treat you right!

First visit to Brothers, and everyone in my party enjoyed their meal. I had buffalo chicken wings and they were fantastic. Nice crispy skin and great flavor. They also have a good selection of craft beers and one of our party had a margarita and said it was great. Will definitely return to try other items. Our server was very good to make suggestions based on our dietary restrictions, greatly appreciated!!

My fiance and I decided to try this place out. And we are so happy we did! The food was delicious! Our waiter was awesome! Since we had never been there she helped us with what was good there. And she definitely knows her stuff because wow was what she recommended good! I definitely recommend giving this place a go! You won't be disappointed!

Husband ordered cheeseburger, fries & fried mushrooms. Husband loved all of it! Cheeseburger was very flavorful and perfectly cooked! I ordered the NY strip, broccoli & mac and cheese. All of it was perfect. This was the best meal out we've had a months! Everything was clean and the service was great.

Cassie was our server. Friendly and informative. We had the gyro lunch special. Excellent. Large portions.

Went to Krystal tonight and this is what I received... sadly this isn't the first time this has happened. I ordered 3 meals which are expensive and all of the Krystal looked like this they were hard as a rock. To say the least I made food at home. The chili cheese fries were cold the cheese also stale like it had been sitting all day. Will be going back to get a refund tomorrow.

The food at this location was very good and it was served in a timely fashion as well. The people that work there are another story. They barely spoke to us and acted as if we were bothering them by coming in. I guess you have to hire anyone you can get now with no one wanting to work.

Krystals is one of my favorite burger joints, but I am on a low sodium diet and can't go as often as I would like. I do think the prices are a bit high, but they have meal deals that help a lot. Service is quick and quality is good.

Always cold, no one is ever visiting the Krystal's here in Sparta, TN. If it wasn't for the drive thru I believe this place would have already shut down. When they first opened the parking lot was always full and the food was super hot and fresh. Not now, burgers are cold and the chicken sandwiches are microwaves, oh and the french fries are gross! I can't see this restaurant making it much longer.

I came here on a Wednesday afternoon to get lunch. The kitchen staff forgot one item of my order (a corn pup, which I was charged a $1.50 for). The lady working the window was not personable at all and the only words she said to me were what my total was. Although the food was good, the staff isn't.

Tasteless sandwiches were pretty gross. Forgot a couple things in the order so has to drive all the way back. Shake was the best thing about the entire visit, but not worth the $30 I spent there all together.

Just realized they charged 4% to use a debit card. The lady working there was very nice but I will never give them my business again. There is no reason for a fast food restaurant to charge a surcharge for using a debit card.

Had to Clean My Own Table. Other Than the Cashier Nobody Was to Friendly. Place Had a Total of About 8 Customers and Nobody Came out the Whole time to Take Care of the Lobby. They Slacking a Bit

I ordered a Reuben and a large crinkle fries. The amount of fries I got was more like a medium. The Reuben was made with meat heavy on one side and sauerkraut lumped heavy on the other half. I suppose I should mention that the middle of the sandwich was perfect so as not to make the entire review negative. I'm not one to write reviews but the Reubens I get are always a mess. This the first time I've gotten stiffed on my side order though, so things are trending worse.

For stopping in the middle of the afternoon, the seating area was dirty. A container that looked to be used to restock the ice machine was sitting by the beverage dispenser with a mixture of ice and water. Food and some trash was on the floor below several tables. Several tables needed to be cleaned. Both women's bathroom stalls needed the toilet paper restocked. It was not busy and the employees appeared to have plenty of time to take care of these tasks but we're not.

Food was very good. We put in a mobile order thinking it would make things easier on the workers since it was a large order. We got our food about 21 mins past when it said it would be ready. When we did get it it was pretty accurate but we were missing a chicken sandwich. So we had to wait a bit longer for that. The front counter lady was nice but they were very overworked and there was one lady who was constantly complaining loudly about having to do mobile orders that kept coming in. I’m not sure how the mobile orders are more difficult than in store orders but either way customers shouldn’t have to be listening to them complain about working. I know it’s not an easy job but it stood out as pretty poor customer service. Spending $60 on an order as well.

I went and got a milkshake from the Sparta location and was charged twice. I was told I had to call the number to get my money back. I said no that I need them to call the store manager. The manager on duty told me that she would say the same thing guess what she told him to give me money back but yet I didn’t get my money back. I had to call the number and it’s like pulling teeth to get anyone to do anything. Watch this place carefully a bunch teenagers that don’t know what their doing.

I got the four for 10$ the meat was cold. Hopefully I don't get sick. Serve safe! If I get sick I will call the health inspector

Dt360 Chicken sandwich was dry thin and tough. French fries crinkle cut wasnt fresh ..curly fries was ok. Chicken tenders was dry & tough over cooked or old . Mac cheese was good but was cold in the middle. Beef n cheddar had very little.cheese on it and was good but definitely needed more cheese. . French dip sandwich was delicious ! SweetTea had maybe 2 cubes of ice in each. I asked for lots of ice ..we still ate and drinked it all .. They wasn't busy. Employee at drive thru was nice ..

I want to start with: I NEVER post reviews on restaurants. AND: We are usually very happy with Sparta’s Papa John’s. But not last night.. Our order was on its way, when the driver called to inform us that our cheese sticks didn’t make it in her car and she’d have to go back to get them. So, then it took 20mins for us to receive our order and of course the pizza was starting to go cold. But the cheese sticks the driver went back for… ended up being the most poorly put together “cheese” bread/ sticks I’ve ever seen. I just couldn’t believe the driver didn’t check them after going back for them. We call to complain and they give us $4 in papa John’s credit. Couldn’t even cover the entire cost of the cheese bread.

Just Don't. I read the reviews and stupidly went ahead and ordered, giving the benefit of a doubt. If you want the order correct, timely and complete...go somewhere else. They are either extremely short staffed or don't care. Had to wait an additional 20 minutes after they said it would be ready, gave the wrong wings and failed to provide the additional dipping sauces we ordered and paid for. Do yourself a favor, go to Wal-Mart and grab a pizza to bake...

Delicious and fast. Pizza only took around 20 minutes and the stuffed crust is better than PH. The staff is very friendly and the prices are good too. Parking is a bit of a pain, but worth it.

I ordered 2 hours ago and called 8 times for someone to answer the phone and no one would answer and then when my driver got here they told her they lost it that they weren’t going to answer the phone anymore, the driver apologized for it but it wasn’t her fault it’s unprofessional for the manager to not even answer the phone I have never had this happen I even tried calling after I got my food and didn’t even get everything I ordered and all I ordered was a 1 pepperoni pizza and cheese sticks and sauces on the side

I ordered a chicken Alfredo pizza on 12/30 and it was literally the worst 15 dollars I ever spent. It had no cheese, sauce or toppings on 2 slices.(see Pic) There was a total of 3 small pieces of chicken on the rest.The dough was undercooked. Tomatoes mostly in one area. I know they are new but there is absolutely no reason for a pizza to be made this bad. I haven't eaten at Poppa John's in a while and this happens. Also was told on the phone it was 12 dollars and ended up being over 15. I saw one person wearing a mask(under his nose) and that was it. The staff seemed nice enough and I even left a tip.(mistake on my part) I am surely disappointed and not sure if I'll even give them another chance in the future.Iended up throwing most of it of it away because it was so bad.Hopefully they'll get it right for future customers.I called and was told a manager was not available so I left my number and of course no return call.

If you want the food in a timely manner (in the time they quote), find another pizza place to order from. Our order took an additional 30 minutes from the time it said it would be done. Additionally, the app never updated to let you know where they were in the process.

Ordered delivery. First the app stated that my order would be delivered about 25 minutes after I placed my order. Then when that time came up I got a notification that a doordasher would be delivering my order. Found this to be odd. The door dasher didn’t even pick up my order until 15 mins after it was to be originally delivered then it took him another 20 minutes to deliver it. I only live 8 minutes from the store. I would have gotten it myself yet couldn’t due to having knee surgery. When I opened the boxes the pizzas were lukewarm at best and smashed to one side. When I called to complain I was told that my card would be credited back for my order. Here it is 4 days after the order and it has not been. Plus they sent my a coupon for a free pizza since it was delivered late. Yet when I went to use it today it said it was not available even though it was to be good till 1/28/25. Needless to say I will never use Pizza Hut again

Will never be back there again. We had a rude waitress as soon as we walked in the doors. We stood for about 5-6 minutes waiting for a table and we finally asked for one she was so snarked up about it. There was a sign that said “it would be our pleasure to seat you” .And then we had stand and wait for to wipe the table off. When the food came out my grannies sandwich had absolutely no meat on it. It was so nasty and i would be ashamed to have restraunt that dirty. Don’t eat there!!

Stopped by on our way back from Chattanooga got an awesome Pizza have a little guy who only likes pepperoni got a pepperoni lovers of his dream thank you so much we enjoyed our visit y'all have a good one bye now

We ate at the one in Sparta TN. Its been a really long time since I've been to one and I found it so good or maybe we were just really hungry. The pizza was cheesy and the bread sticks were yummy.

This is probably one of the worst Pizza Hut’s I’ve ever ate at. The pizza tastes old, the crust isn’t hardly done and the “cheese” breadsticks were dry.

The Sparta Pizza Hut has fallen far over the past few years. Only 2 people were working during our visit. It was just after 11am when we decided to eat here. The lunch buffet was empty and only one table was occupied. This used to be a sit down restaurant with servers and a full staff. Maybe it was just a slow day but the lady working told us to order at the counter when we were ready like a fast food joint. The worker was very friendly and prompt with our order. Just sad to see a business that used to stay full of customers and plenty of staff go down to almost nothing. The food is decent for the price but the drinks were watery. Hopefully they will get better soon.

Might call 10 minutes after you place your order and make sure they have everything in the oven at this location. Second time I've called in a order and didn't have my full order. Had to wait 7-8 more minutes. Don't really care about time but employees should make sure to get orders right.

My wife and I love this place, such a little jewel to find in a small town. Best biscuits in Tennessee!

Very Very clean establishment. Excellent home cooked food and very nice and outgoing waitresses. I'm glad that I stopped in and I will definitely be back.

Owner Bertha and server Terry are so awesome, makes you feel like family. Their food is great and their cat fish special on Fridays is highly recommended.

I placed a simple order at the drive-thru: 12 donuts (6 chocolate glazed and 6 powdered). I was told they were out of powdered donuts. I asked for cinnamon instead, but the response made me feel like I’d asked for an unreasonable option, as if I had requested something like a hot sauce donut. Since there’s no visible list of available donuts, I asked them to provide suggestions. At that point, another employee, who seemed more senior, took over the speaker and gave a detailed list of options. I adjusted my order to 3 maple and 3 jelly donuts, bringing the total to roughly $14. After paying, the senior employee came to the window and informed me that she had been “clumsy” and dropped two donuts. I asked which ones, and she said they were the maple and jelly donuts. Frustrated, I decided to make it easy for them and just replaced those with more chocolate glazed donuts. To top it off, they handed me the payment machine and asked for a tip. I left $0, but here’s my tip: train your employees to handle customers professionally, and people might actually come back. We want good companies in Sparta to succeed.

Ordered a dozen donuts and there was 3 ants in the box when I opened it to check that they were the correct ones. I have never had this happen and I go to dunkin alot usually its the cookeville location though. Placed the order online im not sure if they sat for a min in the store but thats unacceptable. My coffee was good and the customer service was great cant comment on atmosphere cause ive never been inside. The food though yea check before pulling off so you dont waste over $10 on donuts.

I'm not happy about Dunkin' in Sparta. Literally we ordered a few drinks and all of them were 3/4 full. I'm not coming to this location.One of the worst Dunkin. I’m so unsatisfied

I came here with my 3 friends Saturday night and I ordered a large Carmel signature latte and when they brought out our drink they were not full I took a picture of mine, the coffee was good but I felt like the I only got half for what I paid full it literally half full all of ours…they need to be more generous with there coffee I’m not coming back to this location if this is how one is treated

Ordered 2 dozen on the app. Gave them over an hour. Got there, no one had touched my order. Then I was told they didn't have all the donuts to fill the order and they wouldn't make them even though they were still open for almost 4 hours. Doesn't seem like a big deal but when you pay money for something (and i had already tipped thru the app) you expect what you pay for. I was told I should have called ahead instead of ordering on the app. Horrible customer service. It would have been nice to have got a call saying they didn't have them when i put the order in so I could have went somewhere else and got what i needed.

More employees needed at this location, there were only 2 the day I went and they were slammed! They were nice, how ever the quality of the service was affected.
