American restaurant
Fine dining restaurant
Cotton Row is a renowned dining establishment located in an elegant three-story brick building from 1821. The restaurant offers modern American cuisine in an intimate and rustic space adorned with rough-hewn wood and brick, exuding true Southern hospitality. Chef Marc Taft, with extensive experience in the hospitality industry, brings his wealth of knowledge to the restaurant consulting, development, and management company behind Cotton Row.
I did [picking cotton] from - until I was 18 years old, that is. Then I picked the guitar, and I've been picking it since. ~Johnny Cash As much as flavor, texture, and taste are important to the experience of dining, it is context that makes a meal truly memorable. And my first dining experience at Cotton Row was memorable. The context seems to be comfortable industrial chic with a dash of Deep South elegance. I suspect the Cotton Row name gives homage to the restaurant's southern setting and southern culinary influences, although I didn't find the restaurant’s menu to be overtly southern. The Black Bass Meunière was subtle and sophisticated (buttered sweet corn risotto, black truffles, parsley & fennel salad). The Hot Honey Okra King Salmon (southern slaw, fried pickle, warm bacon & potato salad, comeback sauce) was beautifully presented, sophisticated, and delicious. It's culinary excellence through thoughtfulness, delicacy, and creaativity. My only little suggestion would be that they revisit their approach to Affogato, but I am Affogato bougie being just back from three weeks in Italy and Affogato at Vivoli in Florence, Italy, not Florence, Alabama. Swing Low, Sweet Chariot…. It'll make you wanna slap your Mama!

Upscale restaurant in downtown. The portions are small. The risotto was undercooked but the foie gras was good.

Amazing experience! Loved my seat at the bar; listening to the local convo and enjoying the warm atmosphere of this beautifully remodeled old bank. The metal safe door still sits on one of the back restaurant walls. My bartender and server was attentive and steered me in the right direction… the short ribs! Scrumptious! Loved the cheese grits! Great wine selection and the pear dessert was the perfect ending to this charming dinner full of flavor and fun historical facts about this charming city.

My husband and I celebrated our 23rd wedding anniversary at the Huntsville Botanical Garden and chose Cotton Row as our dinner destination. Most of the reviews seemed positive so maybe we just chose an off night, but from getting seated to trying to pay the check it all seemed like such a burden to the staff. We were seated outside relatively quickly, but after that we were forgotten. Tristan was a nice guy, but once another table broke some glass he was almost entirely absent. You cannot substitute all the vegetables so be aware. If you’d like scalloped potatoes instead of parsnips I have bad news. It’s not going to happen. They did agree to carrots instead of grits though. The bread came after we asked 3 times and we were midway through our meals. Our food was good, but cold and mine was missing the mushrooms. The highlight was the fries which were supposed to be a side, but we were charged for the appetizer, but they were tasty. No water refills were ever offered. We had to ask another waiter for salt and pepper. Overall it was just a really underwhelming experience for a restaurant and that advertises as fine dining. I mean no one even wished us a happy anniversary. I cannot say I recommend Cotton Row and I don’t think we’ll be back.

I was really impressed with Cotton Row. A beautiful little restaurant in the heart of downtown Huntsville. The atmosphere and decor was very cozy. The bartender fixed one of the best drinks I’ve ever had in my life. The food was exceptional, and the service was outstanding. Pretty much can’t say any negatives about this place. If you’re in Huntsville, this is a definite go

Had a wonderful upscale dining experience at Cotton Row last night. I sat at the bar and was very well taken care of by the bartender, Rodney. The drinks were excellent! The Ahi Tuna appetizer was delicious, and the Lamb Chops entree was perfectly prepared and quite tasty. Great service and food—highly recommend.

Had dinner with my colleagues to celebrate a job well done. Our server Chyle was so nice and helpful with our food questions, as it was our first time here. Everything was fantastic. Scallops, Butternut Squash soup, the red fish and short rib ravioli were all amazing. All in a beautifully curated historic bank building. I highly recommend if you are in or near Huntsville.
Jeff S — Google review
The autumn salad, halibut and filet were absolutely amazing. Definitely worth the price. The filet had an amazing flavor and cooked perfect. The Autumn salad dressing was very good. The Halibut was paired well. Service and atmosphere were just ok. I would definitely go back for an amazing meal.

Southern restaurant (US)
Commerce Kitchen is a delightful culinary haven located at the bustling intersection of Franklin Ave. and Southside Square, where Southern charm meets contemporary flair. Since its inception in 2010 by Chef James Boyce, this cozy downtown gem has been serving up an enticing array of authentic Southern dishes that are both whimsical and comforting. The menu features a variety of small plates, seasonal entrees, and expertly crafted cocktails that highlight local ingredients.
Service was fantastic and the food was amazing. I had the salmon and my partner had the prime rib. I would highly recommend both! The cookie skillet was cooked to perfection for a tasty dessert.
Meagan T — Google review
Commerce Kitchen has been a staple in upscale dining in Huntsville for as long as I can remember. I'm not someone who does "fancy" too often so I've never had a chance to try it as other options have been more enticing on the rare occasion when we do want a finer dining experience. About two weeks ago I made plans to try Revivalist for lunch. I showed up there only to find their hours don't match what's posted on Google and they were closed for later lunch (~2:00 PM). I popped up the street to BeeZr and Poppy and Parliament. Also closed in the later afternoon. I was trying to kill time before an appointment and I really wanted to try a restaurant I'd never been to...so I strolled over to Commerce to find them open. Here goes! The entrance is actually on Franklin Street as opposed to the square, though there is a door leading out onto the square. I was seated promptly when I arrived. The restaurant was almost entirely empty except for one pair of older women. It's small and cramped inside and there's a row of seating in the aisle of the restaurant that I imagine would be very uncomfortable to sit in during prime time -- too much moving around. I wasn't dressed fancy at all and no one said anything, so that was nice for me. I was seated by a window with a view to the square, which I enjoyed. The decor is simple and classic -- just fine. The ladies' restroom is a one holer and clean. Displayed nearby is their recent health score. CK and other downtown establishments have been beset by iffy scores recently. This one read in the high 80s. Not absolutely a no-go for me personally, though you'd hope for better at an establishment like this in particular. CK is a James Boyce restaurant concept, as are many other upscale restaurants in the Huntsville area, especially downtown (to include Pane e Vino, Cotton Row, and Grille on Main in Providence). Honestly, I've historically not been terribly impressed with any of them, but I do always try to let each restaurant speak for itself. I was a little miffed to find the lunch menu here to be nearly identical to the lunch menu I got at Grille on Main when I visited about 2 years ago. I wish they'd freshen up the menu as well as at least provide a few differences between restaurants. Although I ordered the fried green tomato BLT at Grille on Main when I visited, nothing else on the menu really tempted me for lunch, so I ordered the same thing here. I also got a sweet tea to drink. Overall, I will say the fried green tomato BLT was about the same in quality. The tomatoes were sliced way too thick for my preference and the breading didn't bind super well and didn't have a lot of flavor. The pimento cheese was good but there wasn't enough of it. The bacon was cooked well and the bread was nicely toasted. One large improvement over GoM was the French fries. These didn't have the same super mealy frozen-fried texture like GoM did. They were also seasoned much better. The sweet tea needed both more sugar and more time steeping; it was very watery. Overall, the food was pretty average. On the bright side, lunch prices are more reasonable than dinner prices. One highlight of my experience was my waiter, Timothy. He was polite, attentive, and very pleasant. He wrote a kind thank you on my check and I noticed he had lovely handwriting. He was gracious with my compliment and we had a nice chat about how he does the lettering for the displays outside. Shout out to Timothy! I will likely continue to shop around the fancy restaurants in town. Still, this is a serviceable option for lunch downtown.

How wonderful to have such an incredible place in Huntsville! I had the wedge salad and shrimp and grits. It was outstanding—creamy grits, a copious amount of bacon, such great fresh shrimp, and a sauce I will dream about. On the recommendation of our waiter, Timothy, my hubs had the ribeye (medium rare) and it was done to perfection. His Caesar salad was also a treat with the addition of a few ripe tomato chunks. We ordered a bottle of a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc that was crisp and so SO good! We will certainly be back, look for Timothy, and try some new treats from the menu. I cannot recommend Commerce Kitchen enough! It’s worth the reservation or the wait!

Ate here with a group of friends. I had Shrimp with Grits and bacon. Simply delicious. One person enjoyed the trout fish meal. Others ordered the bisque lobster soup, chicken sandwich and pasta dish. Everyone liked their meal except the pasta dish. It had tomato sauce plus creme sauce too. She just felt it was way too spicy hot. In the historical district, it had a beautiful interior with chandeliers. There is outside dining as well on the side walk. I was visiting the city. If in town again, definitely would dine here again.
Laura T — Google review
My husband and I went here for the first time on a Friday evening and sat at a high top by the bar. Everyone was very friendly and personable, but Karlie was our server and she was so sweet! She made some great recommendations and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We started with the fried green tomatoes and they did not disappoint. We split a wedge salad, I got the rigatoni alla vodka, husband had the pork chop and split the seasonal bread pudding. So yummy! Will definitely be back.
Kathleen L — Google review
We were visiting the area and decided to walk around the downtown area and check it out. We happened upon Commerce Kitchen and were so glsd they could seat us. We both got the filet, anf I added the brussel sprouts. Everything was absolutley amazing. The bread pudding and coffee for dessert was the perfect ending. Our waitress was so sweet. We will definitely be back once we move.

Snagged a last minute reservation at a bar table. Husband has the meatloaf weekday special and said it was excellent. I had the short ribs ravioli and it was also good. It was a bit noisy in the bar area with staff coming and going, but still enjoyable. Cocktail was excellent. We will go again soon.

Blue Plate Cafe is a beloved diner in Huntsville, known for its hearty Southern comfort food and welcoming atmosphere. It's an institution offering classic dishes like biscuits and gravy, fried chicken, and meatloaf at affordable prices. Whether you're craving a full southern breakfast plate or homemade favorites for lunch or dinner, this family-run business serves up generous portions of delicious made-from-scratch dishes.
Hard to believe I hadn’t been to this Huntsville landmark before this morning…Neeley and I had a few errands to run then the sky opened up…busy place but they really move folks through! Everyone was smiling and super friendly…we grabbed seats at the bar and our server took great care of us! The food is simple but the simplicity is what allows it to be damn near perfect! From the pancake appetizer to my Blue Plate Breakfast, everything was perfect. Grits were hot! Cheesy Hash was still piping hot down to the last bite. Look forward to going back to try lunch! Wish I could remember our servers name but she was a delight!

Nice Cafe. Food was ready fast and the server on spot. Here are a couple of pictures. We enjoyed our lunch and the people were quite friendly. I loved the old style belt driven wooden ceiling fans.

Wonderful food, fast service, nice portions at a reasonable price. Highly recommend this place. We had enough food for a second meal !
Sandra H — Google review
If you are looking for an old-style diner, look no further. We were seated fast, waited on fast and checked up on regularly. You can't ask for much more in service. Our server gave recommendations when asks and was nice as can be. We had the daily specials at lunch on a Wednesday. Everything was delicious. It came out fast. I've heard the breakfast is just as good, if not better.
Max T — Google review
The food was fine. I ordered the veggie plate. If I had known there was a vegetable of the day, and that it was okra, I would have ordered it. Service was ok when they finally figured out who would take the table. There was no communicating about specials and very little communication about where to pay, etc. Pretty non involved. I'll eat there again when I want southern food. It's good. Not stellar.
Melissa S — Google review
I was expecting better food quality for as much traffic going in and out all the time plus reviews. I had an omelet with grits. My sausage was a pork patty cut into chunky squares which didn’t really meld into the omelet. It was more of an egg wrapped around a very heavy blob of sausage. They cheese was very heavy on top with the melted cheese grease like pooling on top. My grits were watery and gelatinous. My daughter had the Blue Plate Breakfast and the hash browns were mushy and had not developed a crunch on the outside. The staff was attentive and courteous. The environment was clean and had the homey diner feel.
Shondra S — Google review
Wow, best diner I’ve ever been to. Everything was fresh, perfectly cooked, and above par. Calm atmosphere, very fair pricing, and Cherie was an excellent waitress! I wish we had one of these near Pensacola.
Kevin K — Google review
Blue Plate Cafe in Huntsville is at the top of my list when it comes to enjoying a meal with a nostalgic, old diner vibe. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted by a charming, retro atmosphere that instantly feels welcoming. The service here is impressively quick and attentive, ensuring that your needs are met promptly. The staff is friendly and makes you feel right at home, adding to the overall positive dining experience. The food at Blue Plate Cafe is decent, offering a variety of classic diner dishes that are satisfying and comforting. While it may not be gourmet, it hits the spot when you’re in the mood for good, straightforward fare. One of the standout features of this place is the ample free parking, which is a huge plus, especially in a busy area like Huntsville. You won’t have to worry about finding a spot or feeding a meter, which makes the visit even more convenient. Overall, Blue Plate Cafe is a great choice for anyone looking to enjoy a meal in a relaxed, friendly setting with quick service and reliable diner food. It’s a place that captures the essence of a traditional diner experience.

Rosie's Mexican Cantina in Huntsville, Alabama is a lively and colorful restaurant that offers a vibrant culinary experience. The menu features a mix of traditional and unique dishes such as Spinach Enchiladas, Raspberry Salmon, and the signature Bar-B-Q Chicken Nachos. With two full-service locations and a fast-food style option, Rosie's has become a beloved part of Huntsville's food scene.
Very aesthetic restaurant incorporated with delicious food to back it up. Our server Vega was so sweet & accommodating. We always enjoy the complimentary chips & salsa. Hopefully, we can buy it in a jar one day. Spinach quesadilla was quite flavorful. Not a fan of the shrimp one. Their soda products are on point. Not watered down at all. Lastly, the tres leches cake needs to more moist otherwise a great addition.
Mo S — Google review
I do like Rosie’s. However, I do think it’s a little overrated. There are plenty of good Mexican places in Huntsville. It’s a decent place to get food and the service is fast. Our food was yummy and I would go again. It’s not my top pick tho.
Cara L — Google review
Great atmosphere....very bright and cheerful. Lots of wall-sized murals scattered around the restaurant. An amazing patio area outside that takes your breath away. The service was first rate, and the food came out hot and fresh. Portions were large and had great flavor, and the server kept our beverages filled frequently. Their chips and salsa are very good as well. Lots of variety to choose from on the menu, so there is something for everyone.
Michele P — Google review
Pretty good Mexican/american fare. Nothing crazy but feels the desire for a nice place to eat as a group. The queso is really delicious. I wouldn’t recommend the chicken tacos, the chicken tastes canned and is super watery it will break your taco shell apart. The Tamales were great and so was the enchilada.

The food was great. The service was top tier. I had beef, chicken and cheese enchiladas with sour cream sauce. We had the crab claws for an appetizer.

We were visiting Huntsville for the day helping a relative move. They wanted to try this restaurant. So, we did. We walked in. The host/hostess staff was really nice and professional. The atmosphere was bright, cheery and fun. But that's where being impressed kinda faded. Esperanza (?) was our server. She kept our drinks topped off and chips coming. The chips were good but the salsa was very " white guy". The food came. It looked really great. Three of us had the burrito supremo and I had the tomatillo enchiladas. The beans were ok. The rice was ok. The chicken in my enchilada was ok, but nothing to write home about. The tomatillo sauce was good, though. The beef burrito supreme had ground beef in it. Not shredded. My chicken was in chunks, too. Not shredded. Authentic Mexican doesn't typically use ground beef. Would we go back? That's really hard to say at this point. My gut response when I walked in was. " where are all the Mexicans?" The best Mexican restaurants have a lot of Mexicans and Hispanics eating there. The only one I saw in the entire building was the lady bussing the tables.
Anna G — Google review
I just want to start by saying our Waitress Vega was fantastic and an absolute sweetheart. That being said, our experience was terrible. My mom has a service dog that alerts to a couple different health issues. He's trained to stay by her side in order to sense these things. Also, just for context, he's a very small dog weighing no more than 8 pounds. The sign outside says they allow service dogs only, which is fine since we always have his registration. Well we showed the people at front and they said it was fine. Before we even put in for our cheese dip a Manager came to our table and told us he had to be on the ground under the table. He's not trained for that. He just sits curled up on the booth. Doesn't reach for the table or anything. You don't even know he's there unless you're looking for him. Well after we place our orders another manager comes to the table and says the same thing. Won't allow for us to explain or anything. We felt very signaled out and even our Waitress didn't understand what the big deal was. We ended up leaving with her dog and getting our food to go. We looked up Alabama Law and Health Department regulations and discovered that sitting under the table is mandated unless the restaurant says it's okay. So even though the food was good, and our Waitress was nice, it was an upsetting experience and we won't be going back.

Bar & grill
Nestled in the heart of downtown Huntsville, The Poppy and Parliament stands out as a delightful British-themed pub that offers an authentic taste of England. This charming establishment combines a gourmet store and butcher shop, complete with a classic red phone box outside, making it an inviting spot for both locals and visitors. The menu features upscale English and Irish dishes like Fish and Chips, Bangers and Mash, and Toad in the Hole—perfect for those craving traditional fare.
This was a fun place to eat. Food was more European than British but tasty nonetheless. Shepherd’s pie was great with a carrot mash. Octopus has a good Mediterranean taste to it and the fish and chip was very British. We ordered the crab cake and onion soup as starters and both were tasty. We finished wit$ a sticky toffee pudding that makes my daughter remember Gordon Ramsey.
KC L — Google review
The food was fantastic when we finally received it. The fish and chips were very good. The crab cakes were very flavorful and could be a meal all in themselves. The bangers and mash are mediocre at best. Old fashions were made correctly, which is rare around Huntsville. All in all, the service was horrid. We were there for an hour and a half and received our food right when we had to leave. So we had to eat it later. The food however was fantastic. We will go back and hope to enjoy the establishment.

I highly recommend checking out the Poppy and Parliament. We started out dinner out with cocktails which were very good and in my opinion fairly priced. For our entrees I got the Octopus and my girlfriend got the Sheppard's pie. Additionally the Sheppard's pie came with a carrot mash. Both were great but we both had a preference to the pie and mash. Service was great and our server Tucker was both kind and attentive.

My wife and I went here not too long ago and we haven’t stopped talking about how good it was! Tucker our waiter knew the menu inside and out. He gave us great suggestions on food and drinks. Everything we got was top-notch delicious. We started out with the Crab cakes and the Potato Gnocchi dish then shared the Shepherds Pie and had 2 more meals after that from what we took home. Nonetheless a great place to grab a bite and drinks. Plus the patio is dog friendly! Thank you Tucker for the great experience.

Had French Onions soup good but a little extra flavor desired for me...but...redemption came with the crab cakes! The presentation and all of the flavors was unbelieveable to me for the price point! Something expected in a Michelin restaurant almost! Excelllent Expresso Martini and excellent excellent service..

Don’t get fooled into just thinking it’s London pub fare. We started with the roast beef bone marrow and then shared the pig bone-in steak and the veal short loin. Both were fantastic! I would drive back from Tuscaloosa for that meal again. I’ve heard the steaks are even better. Can’t wait to try them.

Great theming, delicious food, and friendly service! Traditional British pub so no ranch, honey mustard or sweet tea (okay by me), and the fish & chips were presented beautifully! Did I mention they were delicious? 😋

Honest Coffee Roasters is a small business that values personal interactions and aims to create a space for the community to come together. The owner, a woman, has faced challenges in balancing the demands of running the business with family life. Located at The Garage at Clinton Row on Clinton Avenue, this unique venue was once just a few parking spots inside an old parking deck before being transformed into a bustling retail center.
Hands down the best açai bowl I have ever had. We frequent the downtown location for both the bowls and the delicious coffee. Staff is always friendly and plenty of sitting inside and out. Very cool atmosphere in downtown Huntsville.

Stopped by Honest Coffee Roasters for a cortado and breakfast biscuit sandwich. Sandwich was tasty, if a bit dry, and the cortado was decent albeit slightly under-extracted. Service was friendly and quick, even when busy. Atmosphere is inviting with plenty of natural light, creating a vibrant local vibe. Prices are slightly high but reasonable for the quality. Overall, it’s a a solid spot; the coffee is consistent, space is welcoming, and staff clearly cares. Not mine blowing, but definitely worthy of a strong 4-stars. Good place to hang out or grab a quick breakfast downtown.

I had such a great experience here thanks to the young lady at the counter. I told her my preferences and asked her to surprise me with a drink, and she recommended a matcha green tea. I had never tried it before, I really appreciated how she took the time to listen and suggest something new. Great service and even better drinks—I’ll definitely be back!

I took a picture of my turkey panini so that the public could see how much meat you will get for $13.25. Honest, I really think we can do better here. Let's be real. That's one tiny sliver of meat. We're basically paying $13 for bread. Every time I get a sandwich here, this is what it looks like. I just don't know why it needs to be this way. Is Honest really hurting for money in this busy town to where we can't have meat on a sandwich? Just very disappointing.

My favorite coffee spot to relax and recharge! Whether I’m grabbing a rich espresso shot or a smooth cup of coffee, the quality here never disappoints. The staff is always welcoming, the prices are great, and the vibes are just right. If you're new in town — or have somehow missed out — do yourself a favor and GO. Highly recommend! 🫶🏼

To be honest, I don’t understand how this place has 4.6 stars. Their coffee is fine. Their other drinks are just bad. I got the most mediocre/bad hot chocolate and chocolate chip cookie of my life here, and I’m someone who likes every hot chocolate and chocolate chip cookie I’ve ever had. Regardless, I decided to give this place another chance and it did not redeem itself. The iced coffee was fine, tasted like iced coffee. But the monthly special fizzy iced tea tasted like someone melted some kind of hard candy and mixed it with weak tea and ice. Gross, to be honest. I’d come here again to get only the most basic of drinks. Has a nice ambiance.

Wonderful little coffee shop in beautiful downtown Huntsville. I got a drip regular coffee and an Americano. Both were very good. Also, very dog friendly area, if traveling with your furry family!

Italian restaurant
Located at the Huntsville Museum of Art, Pane E Vino Pizzeria is a stylish indoor/outdoor eatery offering a picturesque view of Big Spring Park. In addition to its delectable pizza and wine selection, the pizzeria also serves Italian-inspired omelets and scrambles for breakfast or brunch. As the day progresses, it transitions into dinner mode with classic Italian dishes like lasagna and eggplant parmesan.
Stopped here after spending a half day in the art museum. I had the spaghetti and meatballs which was filling and delicious. The tomato sauce was unique and almost had a hint of spice in it. The calzone was absolutely massive! Relatively decent prices for the amount of food you receive. Highly recommend trying if you’re a fan of Italian food. This restaurant is connected to the art museum and is a short elevator ride down to the plaza level.

Really nice Pizzeria in the big spring park. We had mozzarella sticks, delicious, and 3 cheese raviolis and baked ziti. The service was great and the food tasty at great prices.

Food here is great! Pizzas are unique and tasty. During the summer, I would not recommend sitting outside as, even with some AC, it is pretty uncomfortable. The service here is great and timely, though. Food always comes without too long of a wait, and the staff is very polite!
Sophia W — Google review
The family and I took advantage of the great fall weather to visit Big Spring International Park and enjoy downtown Huntsville. We decided to check out Pane E Vino Pizzeria because me and the kids love pizza and we'd never been to this restaurant. Bottom line up front: this place was great! We were promptly seated out on the patio where we could people watch and enjoy the weather. Our drinks orders were taken promptly and we decided to order a few different pizzas. My daughter and I split the 16" Clemenza. It was was delicious -- the pepperoni and italian sausage pizza was great. I particularly enjoyed the thinly cut bell peppers (usually they are a tad raw and huge - these were very thinner sliced and cooked well). If you love sauce, I'd get some pizza sauce on the side to dip crust, that was the only downsides of the meal. The wife ordered the Da Vinci pizza which I was not a fan of; why would you order a pizza and then put a salad with balsamic vinegar on top? But she loved it and thought the pizza was very fresh. My youngest daughter got the kid's cheese pizza and it was awesome. It had great cheese pull and she scarred the whole thing. This was not one of those 'kids will eat whatever' meals, this was a great pizza in its own right. We got some Tiramisu to go and it was also delicious later at home. Our server, Danielle, was awesome. She was the only server on thr outdoor patio and she was super busy taking care of seven tables but our drinks never went empty and she was VERY attentive. If only all restaurants could have servers as good as Danielle I would be much happier when eating out. The pizza was great, a little on the pricier sode but worth it. Ingredients and food were good and service was excellent. Patio view in good weather was nice. Stop by and give them a shot!

Hankering for pizza while in town overnight. Great place and hit the spot. Solid menu options, tasty toppings, crust was spot on and great service. Highly recommend.

Mushroom and truffle pizza is delish. Good mozzarella sticks too. Was a good spot to grab dinner before going over to VBC for a show. 💞 Lost a star on atmosphere because although they are cute and provide a little privacy to the patio area, there isn't actually enough room for patrons and waiters to move around them.

This is my favorite Italian restaurant in Huntsville! Three Cheese Ravioli every time. Our waitress, Abbey, was by far the most personable, cheerful, caring waitress I’ve had here. She knew the menu well, had patience with us, and picked the perfect dessert for my girls and I to share!
Kendall S — Google review
While in town on business, I enjoyed some of the best pizza of my life here. The dough was perfect - right amount of softness, and elasticity and melt-in-your-soul flavor. And the toppings were top-quality too. Our server, Abbey, was super friendly and very thoughtful with recommendations. When we were ready to go, she even asked if we needed to fit the leftovers in a hotel fridge (I did) and offered a round container instead of a box. I am looking forward to bringing my whole family soon.

The restaurant offers a wide variety of vegetarian options, making it a great choice for those with plant-based diets. Went here for my boyfriends and I’s dating anniversary. The place is classy and has a very intimate atmosphere. All of the staff were polite and even wished us a happy anniversary on our way out. I had the Elderberry martini as my drink which was phenomenal. We started with fried green tomatoes and for my meal I got the Salmon. If you like fried green tomatoes, you HAVE to get these. These were amazing!!

This restaurant was not one of our favorites in the area. With downtown being so close and other restaurants popping up, this facility will have competition. The food was better than average but not amazing. The worst part was how long it took to get our food. We arrived at 5 pm and the restaurant was a little over half full. It took about 45 minutes before our meal arrived. It just felt longer than it needed. Our waitress was very nice though.
Kevin B — Google review
We ate lunch here. The food was good, but the service was slow and it was a little noisy. I had the fried green tomato BLT and my husband had the brisket sandwich. The BLT came with an interesting mushroom aioli sauce. They both came with more fries that we could possibly eat. We came here today for lunch. My friend had the burger which she said was delicious. I had the Korean fried chicken sandwich that came with a spicy Korean sauce and a white sauce. The sauces were amazing, and although the chicken was tasty, it was tough. I would have probably sent it back, but our server didn’t appear again until we were ready to pay.

A truly hidden gem in the Huntsville area. We visit for special occasions and have always been impressed with the experience. The staff are super friendly, attentive, and are open to sharing their recommendations for what to order. The food is amazingly tasty. Seriously, it’s scrumptious. You will leave stuffed and satisfied. Be sure to make reservations by calling the restaurant or booking online in advance, it’s a popular place after all. The food is yummy!

Had a reservation for four on a Saturday night at 1900. The place was super busy but service was still terrific. The martini selection has something for everyone as the did wine list. The fried green tomatoes as an appetizer were fantastic....served with goat cheese and a jelly (can't remember what fruit). Seriously, if you like fried green tomatoes, as any southerner should, do not miss these. The pic below is of the short rib....it was as tasty as it looks. I had the scallop special, and the creamy grits were downright luxurious. It had been a while since visiting 1892....it's now on the rotation list again after a great experience.

Excellent service with a cozy atmosphere. The beef tenderloin was tender enough to cut with a fork, juicy perfectly cooked, and burst with flavor. I was skeptical of the panko fried green maters (generally, I don't like panko batter), but this chef pulled it off and changed my mind. The onion jam was an amazing addition to the maters and the cheese board. Plenty of draft beer, wine options, and a full bar is available.

Heard about this quaint restaurant from a friend of my husbands so we decided to check it out. Let me tell you, it is a hidden gen. It's so simple and beautiful inside. We had a great table in a corner places diagonally between two huge windows. The hostess and waiter were so sweet, knowledgeable and welcoming. The drinks were delicious, the tomato soup with fresh mozzarella and both my husband and my entree were cooked to perfection. My husband had the tenderloin and I had the chicken breast. We will definitely be back! Thank you guys for the delicious meal and wonderful experience!

It was nice, the ambience was perfect. We went at 5:45pm so it was not crowded at all. The servers were on point (the two ladies helped everyone), the hostess was very nice and made sure everyone's water was topped off. Food was delicious and filling, the price was a tad steep but I've paid more other places. Now the drinks, the drinks definitely worth every penny. We could go there just for drinks and appetizers.

The Bottle is an elegant restaurant and bar located in Downtown Huntsville, offering a sophisticated menu of New American cuisine with a Southern and French influence. The upscale eatery provides a refined dining experience with a focus on locally sourced ingredients and creative presentation. Chef Andy, renowned for his culinary skills, can prepare special plant-based dishes upon request. The establishment boasts an extensive selection of craft cocktails, wines, and beers to complement the seasonal menu.
I recently celebrated my wife's birthday at The Bottle in Huntsville, and it was an awesome experience. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere set the tone for an exquisite evening. We were fortunate to have a window seat with a stunning view of downtown Huntsville, which added some natural light to our celebration. I ordered the 16oz Ribeye, cooked medium well, and it was to perfection—exceptionally tender and grilled with flavor. Had a fresh salad that was just as delicious and plentiful. It was upscale, making it perfect for a business dinner or a romantic date night. To our surprise, the restaurant played back-to-back selections of classic R&B tunes (smooth grooves), creating a soulful theme that had us humming along throughout our meal. Overall, The Bottle exceeded our expectations. It was well worth it, and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience!

This was our first time at The Bottle. We arrived earlier than our reservation and were seated with no issues. Our main server seemed rushed at times when taking our order. The service was not bad but did seemed rushed. The additional helpers were always around clearing items and bringing out bread. The food and drinks were really good. You get what you pay for here. Everything seemed fresh and the building appeared clean. You can tell the restaurant has some age, but that gives it some character.

We celebrated of 11 year anniversary here. We highly recommend this place. Our server Ryan provided exceptional service in taking care of us. We were seated in a private booth area with lots of windows onlooking the city lights. The chef came out to greet us after a slight menu misunderstanding. The problem was rectified immediately, and we were offered two desserts instead of the one celebratory dessert. The food was delicious and beautifully plated. The staff gave us several compliments on how well we were dressed for the evening. Everybody was very attentive.

A great place to dine! It was quiet and friendly. There were only places for about 10 people to sit in the area we sat in so it made it feel a little more like being at home. The servers were timely. We didn't wait long for our food and it was excellent. The vanilla creme brulee was definitely delicious to finish off our meal. We had to go walk a bit as we were very full when we left. 😃

Great selection of beers/spirits. Every time I've been they always have great musicians playing, which leads me to the outdoor area. Wow! Love this place because of the outdoor atmosphere. Sitting on a loveseat, listening to good live music(not too loud by the way), with a fan blowing on me, and drinking a good beer at 1/2 off price (great happy hour deals). What could be better. Highly recommend to anybody wanting to take a date or just hang with your friends. Well done Bottle👍.

Just had a wonderful dinner at The Bottle! Reserved a table to celebrate our anniversary and we both completely enjoyed it! Thank you, Mike Bob, for the fantastic service and awesome drinks! The okra salad was very tasty and the steak was melt in your mouth goodness! I am very picky about my steak and this was perfect. No steak sauce needed. Vegetables very good as well. This is a great place for a special occasion or if you want really really good food!! Price is a bit high but for a special occasion, it’s worth it!!

I’ve walked past The Bottle for years and always loved how they had diners at the windows so I could sneak a peek at their food. We visited on a Saturday night with reservations. We got one of the coveted window seats lol. The pork belly and waffle appetizer was insane. It had blueberry gastrique and peanut butter. We ordered filet mignon, seared tuna, and the sour pear cocktail. My only complaint was that I ordered my steak medium and it came out medium well/well. I would have brought it to my servers attention if the table behind me hadn’t gutted him for a similar issue. The steak wasn’t inedible it was tender and the sauce it came with helped too. The tuna was excellently prepared. Our waiter was very friendly and came over an appropriate number of times to check on us and give refills. We finished our meal off with Vanilla Crème Brûlée, shortbread cookies, and lemon curd. Honestly it was the best thing I had from there. I look forward to visiting again and I will send my steak back next time. Oh and the chef came out and we got to chat a bit. That was very nice.

Very friendly staff. Servers were kind and very knowledgeable about all the menus; Heidi was wonderful. The sommelier was very knowledgeable, great hearing him talk about wines. Food was excellent. Didn't try any appetizers, but they looked yummy. We had salads, ours were great. Really like the fried okra & heirloom tomatoes. Entrees were wonderful. Desserts were great. Never had a mocha creme brulee before, but I have now. If we lived closer, we would love to come here on a regular basis.

Guests can enjoy toasted sandwiches and a patio with heaters for outdoor dining. The menu features signature sandwiches like the Ragin Cajun, Classic Cuban, and Flyin Hawaiian. Additionally, MELT provides refreshing drinks such as Peach Sangria and Southern Sweet Tea. The Honey Baked Goat Cheese is highly recommended from their sharable menu.
We loved this place!! It was our first visit and the food was delicious and the service was excellent!! Our server Lara was so helpful offering recommendations and taking great care of us while Shelly the hostess was super welcoming and was very accommodating with our seating request. I enjoyed the pesto chicken sandwich and my husband loved the meatball sub! They have a fun little outside play area for the kids and overall it is just a fun place to hang out! The drink selection was awesome too! I really enjoyed the pear cider!! We will definitely be back!!

We were passing by Huntsville and googled for popular restaurants. Melt came up and we gave it a try. In a nutshell, if Melt is the best that Huntsville has to offer from food perspective, then what they say about Birmingham being much better is totally true. The atmosphere was great and so were the service. But the food was average and without much character. The Reuben could be one of the worst I’ve ever had: barely ANY meat on it. Also no or minimal 1000 island dressing… It was a joke. Side tomato and cucumber salad was old and tasted like it had been in the refrigerator for days. The fried food was good, the tater tots and pickles were fried to perfection and fresh. Beer selection was good. Service was acceptable. But the sandwiches were definitely soulless and tasteless. Melt as a restaurant has a long ways to go if they want to be a top representation of this otherwise cute city.
Ali K — Google review
I had a really enjoyable experience at MELT Huntsville. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff made it even better. Our server Jeanette was fantastic, professional, friendly, and genuinely enthusiastic. They greeted us with a smile, made us feel welcome, and offered great menu suggestions that helped us choose our meals with confidence. We tried the Honey Goat Cheese, Pesto Chicken, and the Patty Melt. The flavors were solid across the board. The Pesto Chicken had great taste, but it was a little dry. The real standout was the Patty Melt, perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. It definitely exceeded expectations. One small thing that affected the overall experience was a bit of discomfort while dining, possibly due to being seated near an outdoor entry point. It’s a minor issue, but something to be aware of depending on where you’re seated. MELT HUNTSVILLE delivered on great service, a friendly vibe, and satisfying food. I’d absolutely return, just hoping next time the environment is a little more comfortable to match the quality of everything else.

We went for lunch. Our server Pinky was great, she was very attentive and provided great service. Food was very good. Fried pickles are the best I’ve had. I was tempted to try the summer drink menu because they sounded so good. It wasn’t a very hot day so I decided against it. The fried Oreos are delicious but very big. I think one per person is plenty!

Had an amazing experience at Melt in Huntsville, AL! The vibe was great and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The food was fresh, delicious, and full of flavor—you can really tell they care about quality. They offer a variety of creative sandwiches and serve all-day brunch on Saturdays and Sundays. What stood out most was the exceptional customer service. Our waitress Kat and the manager Stacy were both incredibly sweet, attentive, and pleasant—they truly made us feel at home. This place has a real family-friendly feel, with board games and patio games that kept everyone entertained. It’s the kind of spot where you can relax, laugh, and enjoy great food with great company. Highly recommended! We’ll definitely be back.

Love the open atmosphere! We shared fried pickles and they were the delicious! Easily the best part of our meal. I had a Rueben with Tots. Located in the heart of downtown Huntsville, Purveyor serves up upscale American fare alongside unique bourbons and wines in a sleek and stylish space. The restaurant features brick-lined walls, a porch, and comfortable seating with wood, copper, and brass accents. It's perfect for foodies looking for something different than the typical chain restaurants in town.
We celebrated my mom’s birthday here, and it was an amazing experience! Every dish we ordered was fantastic, but the standout favorite was the lobster cream corn — an absolute must-try. We also had the giant sweet water prawns, black bass, and scallops, all of which were delicious and skillfully prepared to highlight the natural flavors of the seafood. I’m always wary of dishes being overly salty, but that wasn’t an issue here; everything was perfectly balanced. The service was impeccable, making the evening even more special. I’ll definitely be returning for the next special occasion!

This was a phenomenal dining experience! Everything from the food, the waitstaff, and the building itself was first class. My husband and I dined here to celebrate Valentine’s Day and took advantage of the special Valentine’s Day menu option. Every course was artfully presented and delivered an amazing taste experience. Our waiter was very helpful and knowledgeable of the menu, which was great since it was our first time dining here. The space we were seated in felt very intimate and added to the overall experience. I feel that the price of the menu items is fair considering the quality and presentation of them!!

This restaurant group puts out great food and better service at the two establishments we went to. The pork belly was delicious. The show stopper was the salad wrapped in nori...it was unbelievable. Great short rib and looked like a great craft cocktail menu.

Great food with tons of flavor. The short rib Wellington was fantastic. The small, but mighty A5 wagyu taco was a flavor bomb. Great cocktails and nice bartender.

This one is tough. My fiance and I went here for our 1 year anniversary and was let down. The atmosphere is wonderful. Our service was incredible. The appetizers were good, but the portions were lacking. $18 for 2 one inch tacos and $19 for 2 spring rolls. I ordered the $45 snapper along with a side of mushrooms and was not impressed. I also ordered 2 $17 cocktails that were served in a wine glass full of ice, so 3 sips later, they were gone. We left feeling very disappointed and still hungry.

Purveyor is truly one of Huntsville’s finest dining experiences. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels sophisticated yet warm — the kind of place where every detail, from the lighting to the service, feels intentional. The staff is knowledgeable and attentive without ever being overbearing, which makes the entire evening flow effortlessly. The food? Absolutely exquisite. Each dish feels like a work of art — beautifully presented, thoughtfully seasoned, and layered with flavor. The wine and cocktail selections complement the menu perfectly, and it’s clear that quality and creativity sit at the heart of everything they do. Whether you’re celebrating something special or simply treating yourself to an exceptional night out, Purveyor never disappoints. It’s refined, memorable, and easily one of my favorite places in Huntsville to dine and unwind.

The establishment was nice and clean. The front door when we went was not welcoming or marked very well at all. It just seemed confusing how their entrance was at the time. The drinks were good and food was overall good. The music choice for the night was odd. The ambiance inside was dark and calm but the music was uptempo pop music.

We enjoyed a delightful evening with dear friends on the front porch of this historic home, now repurposed as a fine dining Italian restaurant. From appetizer to dessert, the menu is filled with delicious Italian cuisine. I enjoyed the traditional Carmela's meatballs and pasta, while others delighted in seafood or pasta dishes. The Carmela's dish has housemade fettuccine done perfectly al dente and a wonderfully fresh red sauce. Soft background music played as were thoroughly taken care of by our superb server, Kate. She seemed to have a knack of showing up at just the right time without being intrusive, yet meeting our every dining need. She kept our glasses filled and the table empty of used plates as new dishes arrived. We could not have been more pleased with the food and service here at Mazzara's!

Upscale Italian dining, set in a historic old home in downtown Huntsville. Close to all downtown attractions and restaurants. Food was high end cuisine with excellent flavors from each dish. Service was excellent. Our server, Tristan was knowledgeable on wines, food and the local area. The historic home provided a cozy quiet environment. Plates were expensive but you just have to try this place since the flavors were unique. We shared the grilled Caesar salad and lemon garlic shrimp scampi. This is not Olive Garden; it is so much more! Wine selection was endless. Beers are available too.

OMG! A hidden gem we just found out about. Mazzara's is the perfect place to go for a delicious quiet dinner. It is in a historic house hidden away behind Early Works, the children's museum. Although, I think it is not really a place to go after the museum. We were lead into a room with only a few tables, so the atmosphere was very pleasant. Our server, Shea, was also very pleasant & helpful in out selection of dishes. I started with the fried watermelon salad which was delicious. My husband started with the Caesar salad, which was very different & very good. Then I had the artichoke ravioli which was covered in a green sauce. It was also delicious. My husband had the spaghetti & meatballs which had lots of meatballs & he said it was perfect. The meatballs & the sauce were just right to taste. Dessert was tiramisu for me, which I would say I think was the best tiramisu I ever ate. He had the cheesecake which he also thought was very good.

We had a reservation for 4 at 745p; however, when we arrived at 740p we were told our table was not ready. The party currently at our table had not left and they did not know how long it would be. We sat on the couch by the front door and within several minutes the Manager came to us with 4 nice glasses of Proseco and an apology. Very much appreciated and classy! We did not wait much longer and our table was ready upstairs: dimmed lighting, tables far enough apart where you are not on top of another party and a large screen television with old movies playing. Tom was our server and he was excellent. He did not rush us and kept a great pace to keep us on track. He gave us fantastic recommendations and described the food perfectly. We ordered calamari, charcuterie board and meatballs for the table. Everything was fresh and delicious. The calamari was perfectly cooked. Plenty of cheese varieties on the board and the meatballs had to be made by an Italian Grandmother because they were amazing. We also ordered several wine flights, which I thought was a creative idea. It was a great variety and all of the wines were great. We also ordered an entree of meatballs and another pasta dish that includes a meat, which they say is similar to a pot roast. For desert, we had the cheesecake: creamy, fresh and perfect. Overall, a great experience with wonderful service and delicious food.

Mazarras is my very favorite restaurant in Huntsville. Great location, great food, pretty reasonable prices. It's in a historic house and feels like you're invited to someone's home for dinner. We always sit out on the front porch. Very relaxed upscale atmosphere.

At 1st glance didn't realize it was a restaurant when we pulled up after driving around the block twice. I ordered the veal parm, the veal was absolutely amazing 👏 the pasta not so much the flavor was abit off, although the noodles were perfectly cooked. And the desert was incredible. Our waitress was definitely impressive and very attentive.

Pizza restaurant
Ice cream shop
Sam & Greg's Pizzeria Gelateria in Huntsville has become a beloved fixture on the downtown courthouse square. The married couple behind this establishment, Greg and Sam Hathorn, transitioned from software development to crafting unique pizzas and gelatos. Their culinary focus is influenced by Sam's time abroad in Italy.
Incredible pizza place! The menu had something for each of us. Great place for meat-eaters and vegetarians alike to go out together! We enjoyed playing a round of mini golf while we waited for our food! Then we played again after we ate too! The decor is phenomenal. All of the metal tables and chairs outside are spray painted in fun colors and patterns. The front doors and windows are covered in local flyers to support other local businesses and activities. Inside the restaurant you're greeted with giant menus on the wall behind the register. The whole place has an industrial vibe to it. Every table has either vintage posters or pop culture incase in resin on top. The entire mini golf area is one giant mural of aliens and all of the paint glows under the blacklight. There are also local artists who come and sit down at the bar to draw!

We went in on a Tuesday around 5:30pm and it was pretty empty. Our pizzas came out in about 15 minutes. The pizza was good, but nothing that we are dying to come back and get anytime soon. I ordered the Key West and my husband ordered the Deluxe. For us, the veggies were not cooked long enough and still raw/crunchy. My Key West pizza was supposed to have chicken on it and I couldn’t find any. Maybe there was just so little of it that I couldn’t tell it was there. We did like the crust and the sauce. The crust wasn’t too thick or thin, it was right in between. It also had a nice crunch to it, but was still chewy. They have a small Putt-Putt setup upstairs which costs $3/person. This may be good for the little ones, but it’s a small area and tight, not making it great for adults imo. The atmosphere is kinda cool. They have lights with different colored bulbs in them, several were burned out though. They have several wrought iron outdoor tables and chairs for days with great weather. The indoor table tops have various different characters on them and some table have church pre type benches which weren’t very comfortable to me, so we moved to the table with chairs seating instead which was much better for my back. They have extremely large cans of tomatoes sitting each table which was kinda odd to us. I get it, it’s a pizza place and they were cans of tomatoes, but it still seemed to be an odd choice for decor. The employees were all pleasant. We have heard their gelato is fantastic, but we ate too much pizza and left no room for dessert. Maybe next time if we decide to go back.

What kind of place has a bar, and makes you get up and order everything at the register? Sat down at the bar for about 5 minutes, the guy next to us says I think you have to order at the register. Food might be great, I wouldn’t know because this is some kind of I’m too good to actually do the job of a restaurant employee place. Again, food might be great. I would not recommend this place for anyone that doesn’t want to order at a counter to have a restaurant experience.

10/10. I definitely recommend and would come again. The vibe of the place was so welcoming. The workers are so nice and welcoming. My first time coming and I will definitely be coming back.

We met today with our daughter for lunch. I was impressed with the architectural design. They have Gelato case with so many varieties but we were so full after eating that we didn’t have room to try it. We ordered pita and hummus as appetizer. The hummus was so smooth and delicious. We forgot to ask if the pita bread was homemade because it tasted like homemade. We decided to order 4, 1 of them no meat, 10” specialty pizzas. The pizzas came out in less then 15 minutes and they were perfect!!! The dough is not to thick but not too thin, crunchy in the outside and the flavors of each one of them delicious. Don’t expect to be served tho. You place the order in the counter and they’ll give you the plates, cutlery and drink glasses and you seat wherever you want and serve yourself. It was great and we will be going back.

Tiki bar
Phat Sammy's is a vibrant underground spot in Huntsville, known for its beach-themed decor and creative menu. The restaurant offers a variety of inventive burgers, wings, and tiki cocktails that transport diners to a tropical paradise. One of their legendary dishes is the Phat Fries, featuring fried chicken, cheese curds, Chinese sausage gravy, kimchi sauce, and a fried egg.
Stopped by this place for lunch on my way back from shooting on a Saturday afternoon. The entrance was slightly obscured by a giant inflatable purple tentacle (lol) so I missed it and did a laptop around the block before finding it. The entrance is small and narrow and you go down some winding stairs to a basement bar and seating area. It reminds me a lot of some of the places in Tokyo's Roppongi district with their underground bars -- just Phat Sammy's doesn't get drained of Jack by a bunch of Marines on libo. But I digress. The ambiance is really nice, especially if you grew up with CRT TVs and SNES. Seeing Harvest Moon on a tube TV brings you back. Their menu is pretty eclectic, some.asian fusion and American classics. I ordered the Cubano which turned out to be very good. They were running a $5 draft beer special (which included IPAs) which was also cool. The food was very good and didn't take forever to come out. I enjoyed the fries and the overall experience. Definitely a cool hidden gem I'd take someone on a date if I was single. Probably more nostalgic if you're late 30s to early 50s, but worth a shot for anyone looking for a place to relax and chill out in a great environment.

We are in town for an event and went wandering downtown. Found Phat Sammy’s by accident. Walking down the stairs seemed odd but the experience was great! Josey (I think is his name but the spelling may be off) was amazing and explained the food, made perfect drinks, and overall provided a great experience! We loved everything!!!!!! Will definitely mark as a place to return to when we come back to Huntsville.

A friend and I went for drinks and we loved our server Celeste! She chatted with us about all the unique elements on the menu, specifically in the cocktails. I learned about all sorts of new ingredients. I got one of the Wednesday special cocktails which came with popping bobas. So cute! My friend got the Saturn which was also good, though a bit too sweet for my taste. I’ll have to try the food next time! There was a great variety of seating including low and high tables, and cushy chairs and a couch. The decor is bright and fun. A nice casual place. It was quiet when we got there, but got noisier as the night went on in preparation for a comedy show. So just check their schedule depending on what you’re in the mood for.

4/25 Update: I've been a few times here recently and I'd still highly recommend it. Last time I went the server said they are changing the food menu again. Hopefully that's a good thing. 1/24 Update: It's been awhile since I've stopped in at Phat Sammie's and I'm happy that they are just as good as before. The atmosphere is always cool and layed back. (I really enjoyed the old WF wrestling on the big screen. Haha a lot of fun I didn't know I needed.) Our server was really nice and just the right amount of attentive and the food was delicious, as always! The happy hour is totally worth it. All the apps are good and who does enjoy a good deal? I also had the KFC sandwich and let me tell you, that was one of the juiciest and flavorful chicken sandwiches I've ever had. If you haven't been in awhile, please stop by and support one of our amazing local businesses. Definitely my favorite place to eat downtown. The food is always on point. Always something new and always something good. Their staples are just as great though. I love their cocktails too. If you want something interesting, go on Wu Tang Wednesdays. They always make a specialty cocktail and it's always good. These are experienced bartenders. They know what's up, just like the food staff. I wish I was rich where I could eat here every night.

Definitely not the best food I’ve had. The quality was very poor. Took forever for the waiter to get me the menu and the overall atmosphere is just not great. The bar counter was not clean and overall the restaurant is not up to the minimum sanitary standard. Do not be deceived by the photos. The food looks nothing like it and does not taste great.

WHAT A VIBE. My coworker told me about this place and how it was this dimly-lit downstairs hybrid of what appeared to be Hawaiian and Japanese, and tonight I and my partner went there. I got the Kani Burger and Crab Rangoons; she got the Tuna Nachos. It was SO flavorful. I had to make sure to leave a review, and our waitress's son was a cook in the back, so I had to go give my respect to him and all the workers back there. Will definitely be back! Thanks for a superb vibe.

The vibe is super cool, service was okay, but man their food was mid. Maybe we ordered the wrong things, but the katsu ramen tasted like cheap noodles and broth. We also ordered the bahn mi and felt it was pretty dry. Phat fries were good though.

A great spot for a drink in the bar area! It is a beautiful bar/restaurant and hotel lobby for that matter. Drinks are great, decent selection. Enjoyed a drink and snacks on a Friday evening. Sat at the bar window to people watch. Ordered the seafood hushpuppies (a little dry) with a tasty sauce and the star of the evening was the Cauliflower Steak...who knew vegetarian could taste so good -- so delish! We always have an enjoyable experience when we visit!

Outstanding experience here! We walked here for dinner and sat in the outside space. Our server was so good and attentive. Atmosphere was just right. My wife had the burger - oh my, they should teach everyone else how to make it. Spectacular and so delicious. The deviled eggs were great (6) too. The hanger steak tho....best one I've ever had. Smoky char but subtle and oh so tender. Melted in my mouth, every dang bite. I'll be thinking about it for a long time. The fries were outstanding and the garlic aioli was to die for. All in all, our meal was an absolute 5 star experience. Bonus was the walk through the Park Spring that is close by. Bravo Revivalist....Bravo.

This place was outstanding from the moment we entered the restaurant. The staff is there to exceed your expectations. They have an abundance of staff to meet your every need from service to food. Our food was great and was better than expected even from the high scored reviews. Our food was so good we came back later in the day to get to go dessert.

Our absolute favorite date night location, but we also absolutely love their lunch menu too! Food is always on point. Service is friendly and attentive! I do recommend getting a reservation as this place gets busy!!! The atmosphere is my favorite because even as busy as it can get the way the tables are placed you still feel secluded. My husband and I ate here for our anniversary. The staff were incredibly nice and inviting. We received a card wishing us a happy anniversary. It was precious and unexpected! We ordered the lobster dip as an appetizer- it was delicious. Our salads were delicious as well. My husband ordered the New York strip & asparagus for his meal. I ordered the shrimp and grits. The grits were slightly undercooked. Overall, it was a nice experience.

Service was prompt and courteous. We requested a table switch and we accommodated right away. We requested the switch because it was a special occasion. The menu was extensive with mini great choices. We had an appetizer, make the appetizers, and our entrées. I have the lobster dip and my wife had the green tomatoes. Both were tasty. My wife had a grouper and I had the six cents fillet with Oscar topping her meal was great. I enjoyed mine as well, though I would have preferred my steak to be a little more done. It wasn’t much of an issue so I never brought it up to the server. We have strawberry shortcake for dessert, and that was magnificent.

Last night we had our date night there. We had 6 o’clock reservations, but weren’t seated until about 20 minutes later. Our server was Lyric, who did a great job. We started with their Voodoo shrimp. It was crispy and had just the right amount of dressing. It was delicious! My wife had a house salad and I had a Caesar. Wife’s salad should have come with dressing on the side. She ate it anyways but it was a bit too much dressing on it. My Caesar was fresh and good. Their Caesar dressing is a little different, but good! My wife had a filet and I order prime rib. Her steak was tender, perfectly cooked and delicious. I had to send my prime rib back. It came out closer to rare than the medium I ordered. The substitution was made quickly and it turned out to be perfect! We thought about dessert, but already had quite a bit of leftovers. We had a great experience and will definitely return.

Everything was perfect! My wife is from Maryland and always skeptical about crab cakes anywhere else. Boy she was surprised and said it was the best she’s ever had. My prime rib was fantastic. Restaurant
Ol Heidelberg Cafe is a long-standing German restaurant in Huntsville, established in 1972. The cozy decor features red-and-white checkered tablecloths, dark wood finishes, and waitresses dressed in dirndls. The menu offers traditional German entrees, sandwiches, and sides, including schnitzel, spatzle, and various sausage platters. Known for its authentic German atmosphere and generous portions of hearty food, the restaurant has earned a reputation for good service and reasonable prices.
My wife and I went here for our anniversary. We were in Germany a year ago, and we wanted to be reminded on that. They did an excellent job of recreating the atmosphere and preparing the dishes. A little spendy but good.

We’ve tried pretty much every high quality restaurant in both Madison and Huntsville areas. This is hands down one of the top 5 best restaurants in northern Alabama. We love bringing our team here for special occasions. Get breaded pork schnitzel with mushroom gravy on top. It’s to die for and such a tasty comfort food. Having been to Germany, I was shocked by how under rated and unknown their cuisine is but this restaurant captures it beautifully. The food and atmosphere legitimately transfer you to Germany! This is a gem for the huntsville area. I would run to eat here, it’s that good!

Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Warmly greeted when I walked in. Restaurant is decorated like a week loved home, with antiques, pictures, and flowers. Felt warm and inviting. Music was low and conversation could easily be had. Food arrived in a timely manner, and was prepared perfectly. Warm, fresh bread was served before the food. Also--as i was leaving there was a network outage and I couldn't look up directions to my next destination. The manager happily looked up my destination and gave me basic directions to get there. Above and beyond service. Thank you.

I was touring alabama, and I met somebody the day before I arrived in Huntsville. That person told me she comes here every year for her birthday - so I thought I'd give it a try. The name says cafe, but it really is more like a restaurant. I have the pork schnitzel with fried potatoes and a house salad with blue cheese dressing. Everything was great, tasty, and seasoned properly. I especially enjoyed the blue cheese dressing - it actually had nice chunks of blue cheese in it. The staff was quite friendly and attentive, and overall it was a good value.

If you’re ever in Huntsville and want some real German food, you’ve got to stop at Old Heidelberg. I went while in town for Back to the Future: The Musical and it was such a great experience. They were super busy when I walked in, but the hostess got me seated quickly. My waitress, Alyssa, was amazing — super friendly and checked on me often. I ordered the Bavarian pork schnitzel, and it was absolutely delicious. They brought fresh bread and salad while I waited, and one of the waiters, Ward, even took time to explain the difference between European and American beer pressure — which was really interesting! Everyone there made me feel welcome, which meant a lot since I was dining alone. And the carrot cake at the end? Huge slice, amazing flavor, and enough to take home and currently eating while writing this review Shout out Alyssa and Ward for the best service I've ever had in a restaurant! I’ll definitely be coming back next time I’m in Huntsville.

This historic restaurant that had a lot of the people involved with the space program in the early days come here...well the original location because of course they moved to this location but it still has the charm. Excellent service knowledgeable about the menu was Japeth our server... phenomenal German and beers on tap and even in the bottle. Must start off with the warm sauerkraut and red cabbage with the squaw bread so good. There's so many good things on the menu and whatever you do you must have something with Gypsy sauce on it. It would be hard to come back to Huntsville without stopping at this classic and tasty restaurant.

First visit in about three years. Second visit overall. The first experience wasn't good. We were never waited on after we were seated. We walked out. Overall yesterday went well. The food was very good. The service wasn't bad but it wasn't great. My wife asked about the special on the board and she knew nothing about it and didn't make an effort to inquire about it. She told us she had been there for seven years. It's a shame. I'm sure we'll be back because the food was very good. I'd recommend the Bavarian pork schnitzel with warm potato salad. I also got the slaw. My wife got the black forest meatballs over spatzel.

Top notch service. Knowledgable wait staff on top of their game. Nice varied food selection without being pages of options. Our sausage appetizer was enhanced by its simplicity allowing the food itself to be the focal point. Both the Traditional Pork Schnitzel and the Bavarian Pork Schnitzel were lightly breaded and nicely seasoned. The spaetzle was flavorful and the Jaeger gravy on point. The only nit was that the Traditional Schnitzel needed to be pounded a bit thinner. The dessert case looked amazing, but the portions were large and we sadly never got to dessert.

Phil Sandoval's Mexican Restaurante is a vibrant and lively eatery in Huntsville, offering an extensive menu of authentic Mexican dishes and a wide variety of margaritas. The restaurant prides itself on using fresh ingredients and bold seasonings to create savory tacos, traditional Mexican plates, and other flavorful offerings. Whether you're savoring flautas, tamales, chicken fajitas, or fish tacos, each dish promises to be a celebration of Mexican cuisine.
We finally made it to Phil Sandoval's! We had dinner there tonight, and it was fabulous! Their chips and salsa are perfect because they have the really thin, crispy chips that are my very favorite! I had the Shrimp Tacos and they were yummy....housemade cole slaw with lime and avocado on the side.....and a tangy sauce on the shrimp that made it super tasty. My hubby tried the Pollo Loco Trio with shrimp, chicken and steak over Mexican rice and topped with queso sauce. It ws very good as well. The service was superb and quick, even though they were fairly crowded. They happened to be doing trivia tonight, although we didn't arrive early enough to participate. Extra Bonus points for the free ice cream at the end of our meals! Definitely recommend this place.

My husband and I went to Phil Sandoval’s Sunday, June 1, 2025. Atmosphere was great ,food was great , waitress could’ve done a little bit better but I know it was Sunday and they were busy but she done a good job. Then the lady came to clean the table next to us and she dropped the rag on the floor and to continue to pick up the dirty dishes on the table. She picked the cloth up out of the floor and continue to wash that table with that dirty unsanitized towel or cloth. That is disgusting management and owners needs to know what goes on. I don’t know how to upload a picture but I do have a picture of the lady who done that.

They have the Mexican vibe down pat. It's almost too much.. overdone, cartoonish. When the tiny portions come out, you quickly realize it's gentrified; meant for tourists, what a tourist thinksss a Mexican restaurant is. The food is ok. If you want authentic, real Mexican food, La Fuente in Meridianville is a bit of a drive but a greater bang for your buck.

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented — every bite felt thoughtfully prepared. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy a great meal. A special shout-out to Hector, who truly made the evening exceptional. His attentiveness, friendly demeanor, and genuine care for each guest went above and beyond. He anticipated what we needed before we even asked, and his recommendations were spot-on. Hector is a true asset to the team, and his professionalism combined with his warm personality made us feel like valued guests from start to finish. I can’t wait to come back — highly recommend!

This place is so wonderful! We’ve come here for years now, and it never fails to impress! Brenda was our server and she was so sweet and kind, but everybody on the team helped and was awesome! We witnessed a server carrying a heavy tray full of food and patiently wait with a smile on her face, while people were inconsiderate and stood in the aisle, blocking her - knowing she was there. Many kudos to her for remaining patient and pleasant because not everyone could have done that!

Phil Sandoval’s is hands-down one of the best dining experiences in town! The food is incredibly fresh — you can taste the quality in every bite, from the crisp veggies to the perfectly seasoned entrées. The service is outstanding; everyone is friendly, attentive, and genuinely cares about making your visit special. Hector, the manager, goes above and beyond to ensure guests feel welcome and taken care of. And the margaritas? Absolutely fantastic — perfectly balanced and refreshing. If you’re looking for amazing food, top-notch service, and a warm atmosphere, Phil Sandoval’s is the place to be!

Hildegard's German Cuisine is a laid-back eatery nestled in the Pama Shopping Center on Whitesburg Drive, offering a relaxed atmosphere and an array of traditional German dishes paired with imported beers. With over 15 years of serving Huntsville, this locally-owned restaurant prides itself on crafting authentic German cuisine using fresh, locally sourced ingredients and time-honored recipes.
Oh man, this place is super authentic. The food was quick to come out and was the perfect temperature. Our waiter was super nice. The cheesecake was absolutely freaking amazing. I could have eaten it until I went into a diabetic coma. Tasted like my grandmother was in the back cooking.

This was my first visit to Hildegard’s. My son and grandson also accompanied me. We all ordered different dishes and everyone loved what they got. My grandson wasn’t real fond of the red cabbage, but me and my son ate it up! Our AirTran’s was very attentive and answered all of our questions and was sssssooooo sweet! Can’t remember her name - sorry. It was a great meal and we will be back. Although it is a small establishment- it was really cozy and we didn’t feel cramped.

We out to dinner with our family of four on Tuesday night. The host was very accommodating to us with our young kids. We all had schnitzels and enough for left overs. The Chicken Berlin Schnitzel with mashed potatoes and red cabbage. 😋
Rocket E — Google review
Whether you get the veal, pork, or chicken schnitzel, your tummy will be happy! The schnitzels cover almost the entire plate, and you get your choice of two delicious sides. Very authentic potatoes, kraut, and sausages. With reasonable prices and convenience to downtown, you can't beat this German outpost. Don't expect frills. Simple plastic table toppers and no background music to speak of, but the filling German fare is what you come for, anyway. If you're extremely lucky, Jessica will be your server! She is outstanding and super friendly. When you have a hankering for German cuisine, check out Hildegard's!

Wanted something different on a business trip so we selected Hildegard’s. We were all VERY impressed! The food was outstanding! We sampled several of the appetizers: Pretzel & Beer Cheese, Asparagus Rolls, Goulash, and Kabob. All of it was great! I got the Bavarian Schnitzel and simple wow! It was so good, tender, and flavorful! I had the fried potatoes and kaespaetzel (german pasta salad) which were both delicious. The food all of my other coworkers had was equally good. I would highly recommend if you’re looking for some German food or just something different!

This is a wonderful cozy German restaurant. Food was good and delicious. Beer was cold , tasty and inexpensive. Staff were super friendly and attentive. Parking is alittle confusing as they share spots with other stores. There is a kids menu and my children enjoyed it.

I was in the mood for something different so why not real German food. Had a German beer on happy hour, schnitzel, red cabbage, Spätzle and a bread basket. Beer was delicious. Nice variety of breads. Schnitzel was well pounded thin and crisp. Red cabbage was vinegary to me but good. It’s a cute place made up Of small rooms perfect for a date. Located in a small office area. I was there early otherwise you would need a reservation. Sylvia was a great wait staff! Check it out!

I received a gift card for our wedding anniversary and we were pleasantly surprised by the food and service here. This is one of our new top spots to eat and have dessert/drinks. We ordered a huge platter to share which included chicken schnitzel, spatzel, polish sausage, sauerkraut, mashed potatoes, and stroganoff. We also had wine and Black Forest cake. The chicken was deliciously thin and crispy, the sausage was juicy and flavorful, the potatoes were just the right amount of creamy. The atmosphere was friendly and casual, our server answered every question we had and even suggested his favorite dishes. We have nothing but great things to say. Definitely worth a try and we can’t wait to come back!

We had an amazing experience at Cajun Steamer Bar & Grill! Everything was absolutely delicious, right down to the sweet tea. The customer service was top-notch—friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The food was flavorful and authentic, giving us that true Cajun New Orleans vibe that made the entire dining experience even more enjoyable. We loved it so much that we went back the very next day to try more from the menu. The crab claws were incredibly fresh and full of flavor—definitely a must-try! If you’re looking for great food, excellent service, and a vibrant atmosphere, Cajun Steamer Bar & Grill is the place to be. Highly recommend

Had a great experience at Cajun Steamer. I ordered 2 lbs of the crawfish boil and the Redfish Rockefeller. The crawfish were fresh, well-cleaned, and seasoned nicely. Some of the best I’ve had recently. The redfish rockefeller was excellent, especially paired with the creamy bacon sauce and mashed potatoes. I went with people who used to live in New Orleans, and they said it tasted surprisingly authentic.

We stopped in for a girls' day out and had Emily as our server—she was awesome! Super friendly, easygoing, and just had a great vibe. She made us feel right at home and was on top of everything without being too much. Gave us some solid food and drink recs (which were all 🔥), and just added to the fun, laid-back feel of the day. Honestly, she made the whole experience even better. If you're heading in with friends, definitely hope you get Emily!

The food was really good! Just a tad warning to those from Louisiana, the food isnt full of the Cajun Spice your looking for. Besides that the service was great the atmosphere is great as well. Just slightly disappointed in the seasoning of dishes but for a resturant thats not physically in Louisiana its understandable that it is lacking.

Nice American joint. Food was very delicious and juicy. They were busy even though we were there at a time between lunch and dinner but service was top notch. Always on time and getting us everything we needed for our meals. The seating area is a little tight from table to table to manageable. The restrooms were pretty clean and the restaurant overall as well. Not a lot of parking but there is an additional parking area with a separate driveway just behind the main parking area so it makes up. It is very close to the rocket center too so it has the perfect location

When we pulled up the parking lot was PACKED but we found a spot up front and walked in. We were immediately seated. Then the waitress came over. She immediately then proceed to bring us our drinks. She gave us a minute to look over the menu then took our order. She brought us our food within a matter of minutes. Our waitress was sweet & super attentive. She stayed refilling our drinks and made sure we had everything we needed. When the food came out, it was hot and tasted delicious. We only have 30 minutes for lunch so after we tipped our waitress we headed back to work & made it back with a few minutes to spare. This is the perfect place to sit down and eat and enjoy.

Every time I have eaten at this restaurant, the food has been nothing but phenomenal! It has become one of my regular "Go-to" places for everything from the crisp, fresh Bangkok salad with juicy mandarins and fresh greens ( topped with Boom-Boom shrimp 🍤 ) ... ...to the hone made Pot roast or meatloaf... AND let's not forget the SANDWICHES!!! West End Grill has daily specials for entrees, soup, and fish of the day. ***SUNDAYS*** BRUNCH starts at 1030 am. and is VERY REASONABLE in price and SUPERBLY DELICIOUS. BLOODY MARY BAR with so many toppings to choose from, you could make a pizza! ONLY $4 for the shot... YOU add the toppings to your liking and puck your mix. Mimosas are only $3! They even have a patio outside to sit at with a HUGE Mimosa tree. And I was told new things are on the horizon. Earth and Stone Wood Fired Pizza is a spacious pizzeria with a warehouse-like atmosphere, featuring wood-fired ovens that produce a diverse selection of delicious pies. The restaurant also offers outdoor patio seating for guests to enjoy their meals. Owned by Tina Ford and Stan Stinson, the establishment is part of their innovative culinary ventures in Huntsville, which include other concepts such as barbeque and a self-pour craft beverage space.
It’s attached to a brewery so drink options are amazing! But the staff was so laid back and mellow it made it feel like I was just hanging with people I know. This really is wood fired pizza and you can ask them to cook it a little longer to make it extra crispy if you like it like that. Super good pizza. It’s not a complex pizza just simple and straight to the point. Flavor was nice and the names are fun. Great for the whole family
Cultured P — Google review
Excellent pizza but the workers here are usually very rude, angry and disgruntled. There are nice workers here, don’t get me wrong, but I never know who will be making the pizzas. I never get red sauce so the cheese tends to be light. I always pay for extra cheese and every time they never add it! I always pay for extra basil and never do they do that either! For $28 a pizza, you better do what the customer is asking or else you will lose business. We would come here and get about 10 pizzas a month, and out of total frustration I altogether stopped coming here. Please improve on your service. The lady with reddish hair who makes the pizzas is an absolute pain in the butt and rude! Get rid of her. She gives bad service and does a lousy minimal job making pizzas! She is costing you business!!!

We were underwhelmed. After reading the reviews we expected great pizza, the crust was soggy. Staff were friendly and attentive, and our pizza was done in a timely manner. System for ordering was great and efficient, staff was knowledgeable and offered good suggestions.

Listen it’s rare I take the time to leave reviews on places but i was extremely disappointed by this place… they have pictures of slices online but you can only get them on Friday and Saturday nights apparently, which is kind of misleading and irritating in my opinion.. I’m from out of town so I was trying to stop somewhere fast and to find out somewhere I thought sold spices doesn’t, like I don’t have time to go somewhere else now. I will say they helped me out and gave me one from night before. Service was wonderful. But it was $14 for two slices with 2 toppings which is already insane pricing to me… then they came out burnt and absolutely no cheese on them… for $7 a slice. This is truly one of the worst slices I’ve ever had. Then it was an entire dollar for a tiny cup of ranch on top of it. After paying essentially $20 for two mediocre slices of pizza after tip yall need to charge a whole dollar for ranch? Like just wayyy over priced and not good at all. If I didn’t feel bad for the staff I would go up and ask for a refund, that’s how crappy this pizza is. Like it’s edible. That’s all. I would not come here for food. Brewery is cool but eat somewhere else 😅 maybe whole pizzas are better. I wouldn’t chance it at this price point.

Absolutely Outstanding! Earth and Stone Brick Oven Pizza in Huntsville is hands-down one of the best pizza spots in town! We ordered the Porkalicious, The Patriarch, The Buffalo Chicken, and The Clyde pizzas — all were incredible. The crust had that perfect wood-fired crisp, and every bite was full of bold, smoky flavor. To top it off, the house-made ice cream was phenomenal — the Strawberry Cheesecake, Rocky Road, and Bourbon Butter Pecan were rich, creamy, and unforgettable. Great service, cozy atmosphere, and unbeatable flavor. Highly recommend for anyone who loves real, handcrafted pizza and local charm! 🍕🍨🔥

Solid little spot for a quick yummy lunch. We had the lunch special with a patriarch pizza (gluten free crust) and two salads. We also had a side of meatballs. Everything was pretty good. The toppings were proportionate for the pizza. The gluten free crust came crunchy which was a plus but was also really chewy in texture. If you eat GF then you know that can’t be helped sometimes (it’s the flour). The meatballs were pretty tasty as well. The atmosphere and the service were great! Overall I’d give them a thumbs up. 👍🏽

Supper Heroes is a superhero-themed restaurant that offers a no-frills dining experience with a menu featuring burgers, sandwiches, and fries. The decor is adorned with superhero-themed artwork and memorabilia, creating an entertaining atmosphere for guests of all ages. The small space also includes a retro arcade area, making it popular among families with young children. In addition to their extensive menu, the restaurant offers kids' meals that come with a Little Debbie treat.
It was our first time to eat at Supper Heroes but it will not be our last. Wow, what a cool place! The food was delicious. We met friends there for lunch. We ordered the Fried Pickles for an appetizer. They brought out a basket full. They were delicious. We both ordered The Used Car Salesman, they have very clever names for their menu items, it's described as an old timey cheeseburger with lettuce, Roma tomatoes, red onions, mayo & your choice of cheese. You also get fries with the burger. They have other burger selections as well as other sandwiches, salads, chicken fingers. Speaking of their menu it's probably one of the coolest menus I've ever seen. If you haven't been there yet & you live in the Huntsville area or are visiting I'd recommend putting this one on your list of places to dine.

Went for lunch. The food was very decently priced, and we all enjoyed what we ordered. I had the Huntsvillain burger and enjoyed it immensely. I never knew, that sweet pepper jelly compliments a burger, so well. Our mozzarella sticks appetizer might have been the only thing that was not at the level the rest of the food was. It wasn't bad but it was fine. Honestly, I was not expecting the food to be as good, as I did. My photos of our food may not showcase the solid foundation, in flavor, that our sandwiches had. The decor, of course, is superhero-related, and there is a lot of it, but I feel it is done nicely. The staff and service was good. The menu is a work of art and very nicely themed. However, I could see some people being confused at the non-traditional layout. I feel that even if you're not big into anything comic-related, the value and food are worth a visit.

I had an incredible burger today—the Huntsvillian, topped with pepper jack cheese, jalapeños, and a kick of spicy jelly. The flavors were bold and perfectly balanced. On top of that, the atmosphere was just as memorable. You could easily spend hours taking in all the fascinating collectibles. A truly unique and satisfying experience!
Travis M — Google review
Me, my wife and kids went here on a Saturday. I'm not a huge superhero fan, so this place wasn't at the top of my list. Bottom line up front: I am super glad I went, the food was great and reasonably priced. The interior is covered with comic book paraphernalia and decorations, some homemade and others professional. We were promptly seated and my kids received a cup of crayons, which was nice. The wife ordered the chicken salad (which had a large portion size and she raved over the taste), I got the 'Huntsvillian', which is a burger loaded down with fried jalapeños, spicy pepper jack and 'sweet heat pepper jelly' which usually isn't my jam (pardon the pun :V) but was delicious. Kids got kids' meals, and the chicken and fries were very good (chicken was moist) and the kids mac-n-cheese was exceptional. The price was great - two adults and two kids for $40 before tip can't really be beat (the kids meals are very affordable). I would 100% come back here and I would absolutely give this place a shot (even if you aren't a fan of comics but especially if you are). They recently revamped their menu items and the quality is much higher than it used to be - give it a shot again if you've previously tried it and not liked it. My one downside is the menu is a little hard to read and find what you want to eat. Because everything has a cartoon themed name and flavor text description, it takes a while to process what an item is after reading it. I would humbly suggest they use some AI art sites to create pictures of items in a comic book style so they can stay on brand but also help easily identify food. The most minor of gripes.

Char Restaurant is a beloved Huntsville steakhouse known for its elevated menu and friendly atmosphere. The restaurant offers a variety of dishes, including quality steaks, fresh seafood, and southern-style sides. Guests can enjoy the great atmosphere and music while indulging in favorites like prime Ribeye with sauteed mushrooms, sizzling redfish with truffle fries, and lightly seared scallops. Char also hosts a New Orleans style jazz brunch on Sundays and features a piano bar in the evenings.
Delicious food and great service. I had only one night in Huntsville and I wanted to eat well. I chose the right place in Char. I made a reservation (not necessary on that Wednesday) which I recommend. The house salad was super tasty and the ranch dressing was great. Definitely made in house as it want that creamy bland stuff from a bottle. For the main course I ordered the lamb chops. I don’t like cilantro so I skipped the cilantro mint jelly. They were cooked to perfection. They came with a baked potato. Make sure you insist on the potato being hot. Mine wasn’t. The manager offered to have another brought out but I declined. A shout out to Isabella, my server. She was fantastic.

First time eating at the establishment. Wedge Salad, Steak Frites, and the best Crème Brûlée in the city. They had an amazing wine list as well as a cocktail menu, but I did not partake because I don't drink. The food tasted amazing and was nice quality. I ordered my steak tips rare and they came out medium, but I'm not one to complain and send food back because it still tasted amazing and was tender. My server was an amazing young lady named M'Lynn who was very hospitable, knew the menu well, was extremely prompt, and provided an overall amazing experience. I have a shellfish allergy and she recommended the best dishes for me as well as notified the back of house about my allergy for extra care. I would highly recommend dining in her section for a wonderful meal. Will definitely be coming back with friends and family.

This was honestly one of our favorite meals of all time. Please, I beg you, try the Char Punch cocktail. It was PERFECT. The food was phenomenal!! The steak frites and redfish were perfectly seasoned and cooked- so so delicious. The onion rings and gumbo were out of this world. Please get some pecan pie to go- warm it up in the oven and you’re in heaven!! Our server, Joleen, was so sweet and helpful, always ready to help us when we needed anything. Great atmosphere, amazing food and staff, just a 10/10 experience!

Last night was the first time I visited Char. It was at the end of an 11 hour work day and I wanted something hearty. I chose the cornbread dusted redfish with sides of grits and spinach, a crème brûlée for dessert and a rum punch cocktail. The service was excellent with prompt service, a glass of ice water which they kept refilled and a yummy warm baguette. I’d give the food a 3.5 starts because the redfish was warm but not hot. The redfish had a good flavor but nothing I’d write home about. The Cesar salad was amazing, tasted fresh, crisp lettuce and delicious house made dressing. The crème brûlée looked delicious but it was not. The custard had no flavor so it wasn’t worth the calories to eat the whole serving. I ate as much as I was hoping each subsequent bite would improve the taste but nope. The rum punch was wonderful so I will give Char another try in the future since the cocktail, the salad, the service and the atmosphere were great.

The exterior of the restaurant is misleading. What it lacks in curb appeal it makes up for tenfold in quality of service, expertise and taste. The entire staff were courteous and attentive. We tried the crab claws both ways. If that was the extent of the menu we would've been satisfied. The fried claws and the sautéed claws were cooked so well that the meat was tender but the breading wasn't soggy. I had the red fish with Brussel sprouts. It had a lot of great things going on at the same time. Red fish, crawfish, grits, bacon... delicious! My table mate had the steak fritte. He ordered the steak medium well, but wished he'd ordered it medium. He enjoyed it and already plans to return to the restaurant when he travels here in a couple of weeks. We also had the bread pudding and the brownie. I prefer juicy bread pudding, but I enjoyed the blueberry bread pudding the way it was presented. The brownie and ice cream didn't stand a chance. Great meal and we will return.

I went here for a birthday dinner with some family. Surprise to me, there is a complimentary desert (chess pie only) for the birthday person. It was really good, though really small. It was bursting with chocolate flavor, very moist and very sweet, served with a dollop of real whipped cream and a sliced strawberry. I also had the Asian Salad which did not disappoint. You can add a protein for additional $, and I added the grilled chicken. The grilled chicken was also full of flavor. Everyone at the table enjoyed their food choices from BBQ to Burger to Fish & Chips! The pieces of fish were large! Only 1 odd thing to me... Well ate downstairs in the dining room before going up to the rooftop where there was live music. He was good too! The odd part is the bathrooms downstairs are not inside the restaurant. There is 1 family restroom close to the door of the restaurant. The next full women's or men's restroom is a bit of a walk and no signage to indicate. I would definitely update the signage.

Service was super slow and bartender had an issue with making a slight adjustment to a drink (rolled her eyes when we asked if she could add extra syrup to a blackberry mojito). The spring rolls lacked flavor and the wedge salad was tiny - definitely not a wedge. My Bees Knees was good but overall, this place didn't hit the mark. Too many other better options to chose from in Huntsville.

Our server, the bartender, was great, even though we weren't at the bar. Food was good, just not what I was expecting from a venue in the Von Braun Center. Zero German food. Missed opportunity for a venue that could be an awesome establishment. Wings were good, just not off the chain like I'd expect from an upscale place. Fish and chips were good [Brussels instead of chips were a request that was honored without a problem] . Overall it was good, but I was more shocked that on Friday night the place was almost empty. Definitely could be more than it is.

Nice rooftop bar with plenty of seating. They do have food upstairs. Downstairs is always busy. Never had any food here only beer.

Food comes out so fast that you know it can’t be fresh. My dinner made it to the table before my martini. Entrees tasted good but the portions were small for the price. We paid almost $70 for two people to eat in less than 30 minutes. For a bigger ticket you expect a little more of a dining experience.

Had the chicken and corn, it was pretty good! The dining area is very large, and upstairs batt is very open. The service was very good, and the wait was not long. Update 2025; must be new ownership because the food and service are now TERRIBLE! Don’t waste your money. Update: management was nice enough to provide a partial refund. So I’ve modified the review from 1 to 3 stars.

Great food and an upscale experience. Recently changed menu (with the new chef), so I've included pics of our food. As we shared, the hamburger was split in half. Delicious flavor... Burger tastes charbroiled/grilled and was excellent. The fries were fresh. Cream Brulee was chilled, larger than I expected and the sugar coating was perfect at just the right thickness. Staff was highly attentive. Decent prices and definitely worth the experience. Our first time, but we'll be back.

Was in Huntsville for business on Valentine’s Day and came here because most other places said they had no reservations available on the same day. They had a live musician singing. The hostess wasn’t very friendly but the waiter was. He was great. Friendly and attentive. The crab dip was really good. Very creamy, seasoned well and the chips very crunchy. The roasted red pepper soup was just ok. It wasn’t flavorful and was kind of bland. The pork chop and brussel sprouts were great but the winner was the blueberry bread pudding. That was delicious!

Domaine South is a charming spot located at Main Street South center, offering a warm and inviting atmosphere. The cafe serves up traditional dishes, charcuterie, and cheese boards alongside an extensive selection of wines. Overlooking Big Spring Park, it is part of a vibrant culinary scene that includes Sea Salt oyster bar, Purveyor, The Standard Social Market, Revivalist, La Esquina Cocina, and MELT.
We had a delicious lunch today at Domaine South and excellent service from Jennifer our waitress! Our group shared the warm marinated olives and whipped feta for appetizers - both great choices! The rock shrimp tacos were flavor packed with cilantro, onions, tomatoes served on blue corn tortillas. I had the mouth watering grilled cheese sandwich served with tomato soup-ultimate comfort food. We would love to return and try more from the unique menu!

We had such a great experience at Domaine South in Huntsville! From start to finish, everything came together flavorful food, attentive service, and a welcoming ambiance that made the evening feel special. For dinner, we both ordered the Meat + Three Friday special with the Blackened Rainbow Trout as the main dish. The trout was cooked beautifully seasoned well, flaky, and perfectly balanced with the sides. Speaking of sides, we tried the Fried Mac & Cheese, North Alabama Collards, Cucumber Dill Salad, Farmers Market Succotash, and the Housemade Cornbread. Each one had its own personality the fried mac & cheese was indulgent and crispy on the outside, the collards had that Southern depth of flavor you expect, the cucumber dill salad was light and refreshing, the succotash tasted garden-fresh, and the cornbread tied it all together with just the right texture. The service was outstanding. Our server was attentive without hovering, and you could tell the staff really cared about creating a good dining experience. Pair that with a cozy yet modern ambiance, and it felt like the perfect spot for both a casual Friday brunch, a night out, or a special occasion. Overall, Domaine South is one of those places that makes you want to come back not just because the food is flavorful, but because the whole experience feels thoughtful and elevated. We will definitely be returning!

Domaine South is a must try, whether hanging with friends or a date night, give this gem a chance, it doesn't disappoint. Cozy atmosphere and excellent service. Jason offered superb knowledge of the massive wine selection. Full bar available for the cocktail lovers. The food was next level. Build your own charcuterie board, made to order burger, or should be illegal to serve it's so good whipped feta are a few favorites. Highly recommend reservations.

We were visiting Alabama from out of state. In searching for a place for dinner, we decided to give Domain South a try. We were NOT disappointed at all! We did not have reservations, so the two of us sat at the bar. Our server (Emera) was incredible. She was very helpful with the menu in suggesting what to order. She was very knowledgeable about the wine choices too! I would recommend this place if you’re looking for a great menu with delicious food. We shared appetizers including the Escargot, Ceviche, Octopus and Duck Fat Frites.

I've been here twice with my boyfriend. We LOVED it. We went after taking a walk downtown. If you are looking for a light dinner and you are veggie lover, order the Farmers Market. We also got a side of grits, AMAZING. Very fresh vegetables. Romantic as well.Jonna was an amazing server.

This place is amazing, the vibe is both relaxing and elegant, with a hint of Italian charm. The drinks are some of the most creative and enjoyable I’ve ever had, and the food is outstanding, with little details that make every bite a delight. This is easily my top spot in Huntsville. The service is excellent, and we truly enjoyed every moment here.
Arely C — Google review
I have never written a review on here before now; however, Domaine South is beyond worthy of an exception. Domaine South is without a doubt the best restaurant in Huntsville, one of the best in the region, and a very special place to my wife and me. For lunch and dinner, I probably have been to Domaine South around 25+ times now (mostly dinner). For each one of these visits, they have always exceeded my expectations and been beyond worth it every single time. The food is amazing (especially the classic French dishes like Coq au Vin and Beef Bourguignon). It’s always so much fresher than other restaurants in the area, and it’s awesome that they consistently change the menu. You always get to experience something great and new every visit. Likewise, they always have great cocktails, wine, and dessert choices. And of course - you have to get the duck fat frites. So good! And to top it off - the staff, managers, and the owner are all exceptional and courteous. Every waiter and waitress I have had has been top notch. It truly is a place that I always look forward to going to, and it’s the best place in town for a date night or to catch up with some friends. As an event space, I cannot emphasize enough how great of a job Domaine did for my wedding. We rented out the entire restaurant for a 60 person wedding. Over the course of a year, the manager Harold met with us and our wedding planner multiple times and responded to each of our many emails to work out our requests. On the evening of the wedding, when we arrived and saw what all had been done, my worries about everything was put at ease. Throughout the night and the days since, I have gotten so many compliments about the food, charcuterie, and drinks at our wedding. Most of all - everyone talked about how amazing the staff was. The waiters, waitresses, bartenders, managers, and the owner that worked the wedding were so kind, prompt, and professional. It elevated the whole experience. I was told by many family and friends that it was the one of best and most unique weddings they have ever experienced. Seriously - thank you Domaine for everything! So - it’s at a cozy, beautiful location with amazing outdoor seating (especially in the fall) and ran by great professionals, and you should give it a try if you have not been or you’re visiting. It’s well worth a visit (and for people like me - a lot of visits). And if you are even thinking about hosting an event here - you should consider it and contact them. My wedding was beyond my wildest expectations, and Domaine was responsible for so much of that. We couldn’t have done it without them. Attached are some of my wedding photos by Katie Sue Photo and Film as well as Bela Lumiere Events. Florals in the photos are done by Old Frond.

We made a reservation while passing through town and are extremely happy we did. Food was creative, and thoughtfully crafted. Wine list was perfectly matched, as was the ambience, and the local crowd. Overall a great find that we look forward to visiting again soon.

Mexican restaurant
Brunch restaurant
La Esquina Cocina is a must-visit for Mexican food enthusiasts, offering authentic dishes made from scratch with imported ingredients like chiles de arbol from Mexico City. The menu features flavorful options that cater to various tastes, including those who are not typically fans of Mexican cuisine. House specialties like El Chorizo con Queso Fundido are highly recommended. Situated in downtown Huntsville, Alabama, this upscale restaurant provides a modern dining experience with traditional Mexican items and innovative Latin-inspired dishes.
Went to tired it out. Got say love their drinks especially the seasonal which was watermelon and pineapple currently. Food wise; they have queso with shrimp (is weirdly good, normally used to queso with beef or chorizo) and main food tried Enchiladas De Picadillo & Enchiladas Verdes. If you looking for something with a spicy taste go with the Verdes, the De Picadillo were also decent overall.
Sergio F — Google review
We visited La Esquina Cocina to try their restaurant week specials. We had a taco plate (tacos: al pastor, grilled shrimp, and avocado) with rice and beans and the restaurant week special which was a 4 taco flight (we chose carne asada, grilled fish, chorizo, and cochinita pibil), chip & dip trio, and a choice of dessert. We had to ask for the chips and dip to be brought out after our tacos arrived, but other than that service was nice. The food was delicious.

I came here with some friends to celebrate some birthdays, and our server was so sweet! I got the chicken quesadilla and it was AMAZING. Definitely coming back again. Their guacamole was delicious I almost asked for some to take home. 10/10 recommend trying this place.
Emily T — Google review
The food was delicious and flavorful! Something we really liked about the restaurant is that they do not cross-contaminate between meat and seafood. My husband loved the empanadas and the tacos, the meat was tender and full of flavor. It was amazing to find a Mexican restaurant that doesn’t put cheese in tacos and vegetarian frijoles instead of the beans with lard that most other restaurants do. Definitely recommend to vegetarians. Overall, we loved the food and thank you for your wonderful service!

Queso w/ chorizo & poblanos was spectacular! Portions hearty! They were sweet and provided candles for my b-day dessert. Steak was so tender and the bowl I ordered was delicious. Corn&pablano soup was only item that could use a bit more seasoning which is what I did the following day as my leftover. Overall, delicious food and great environment.

very nice atmosphere with excellent staff and great food! I have never had chorizo artichoke dip, but I have now and it was amazing! We also had a steak sandwich that was flavorful and crispy as well as a delicious chicken quesadilla. I also recommend the sangria as super refreshing! Only Con - the queso dip was kind of mid. overall 4.5/5 I will definitely be back to try more!

Salt Factory Pub is a laid-back spot with phenomenal service, making it perfect for celebrating special occasions. The menu offers delicious options like egg rolls with honey mustard sauce, Shepherd's pie, and butter nut squash ravioli. The atmosphere is beautiful and unique, making it a surprise gem in MidCity. Even the kids' meals are elevated and worth the price. The food is amazing, with dishes like chicken fried chicken and London broil steak receiving high praise.
London Broil with Corpse Reviver cocktail and the Chicken Fried Chicken with margarita was absolutely delicious!! Very impressed having never been here. The “event menu” quick picks for those going to the show at the Orion was a nice touch, our drinks were brought out by the manager, Brian. And our server Christopher was on it! Hands down the place you should go before a concert at the Orion.

Upscale but not uptight. Service was phenomenal from the moment I stepped in, everyone was very friendly. My server, Chris, was exceptional. I told him it was my first visit and he explained very clearly the menu options, specials, and drinks, as well as listing off some customer favorites. I had gotten a recommendation for fish and chips from a friend so that's what I went with. Fish and chips had a nice crispy crust on top but was already slightly soggy on the bottom. It came with a good helping of seasoned fries and creamy coleslaw. Fish fillets were thick and cooked to a tender flakiness on the inside. Seasoning paired nicely with the lemon and vinegar. It was good, I would recommend this dish if you already like fish and chips. -1/2 star for a combination of a dirty water glass (which was fixed immediately), some pesky fruit flies, and tarter sauce that appears to have been previously dispensed and had enough time to discolor (flavor seems unaffected). I plan on coming back and trying some of the other menu items.

Bella was our server, and she was amazing! She was super attentive and super nice! The food was pretty good. I got the chicken fried chicken, and the mashed potatoes and green beans could have used a little more salt. The chicken was cooked perfectly and it was so flavorful, same with the gravy. boyfriend got the steakhouse burger and it was delicious. The fries were hot and soggy, so the oil might not have been hot enough? Overall, it was a good meal.

Really enjoyed our dinner & would come back again! My husband and I sat at the bar, were promptly greeted. We had the crispy shrimp app & she crab soup to start. Presentation was on point and although the soup was good I found it salty and lacking depth of flavor. My husband’s trout was the star of the show, wonderfully cooked, balanced flavors, the fish melted in your mouth, we couldn’t have asked for more. The crawfish sauce was so yummy we were wishing for bread to soak it all up at the end. My fried green tomato BLT was good, but was overall a miss for me. The tomato was a single piece per side of sandwich, sliced thin, so it got lost in the flavor of the bacon, it also mentioned sweet chili aioli but I’m not sure if that made it to the sandwich. It tasted like a traditional BLT on untraditional bun-like bread. It was fine but not great. The cocktails & service were good so we would definitely return and try some other specialties. Thanks for a great dinner, 9/10 would recommend.
Deanna G — Google review
Kayla was SUPERB! She was very friendly and very accommodating. She kept checking on us and we didn’t need for anything. I just wish the main course/entré reflected Kayla’s service. The main dish was subpar for me. At least the cocktail and the appetizer was good (I had the salmon tostadas and lemon drop). And unfortunately I didn’t enjoy the live performance. The artist just wasn’t it and he was too loud.
Willine P — Google review
Our server, Billy, was on top of everything! We had refills before we even realized we were low. Food recommendations were on point and the dishes were all as tasty as they were beautiful. Will definitely be back!

Really nice modern gastropub with kind of an industrial decor that I really liked. We went on a Sunday around 1. It wasn’t very busy so we were seated right away. We ordered some hush puppies as a starter. They were the highlight of the meal. Delicious! My husband ordered brunch. His over easy eggs were really overcooked, but his grits were creamy and really good. No instant grits for sure. I ordered the broiled oysters and a wedge salad. The oysters were good, but had no salinity. They were prepared nicely. The wedge salad would have been good if it hadn’t been absolutely swimming in the dressing. After a couple of bites, I couldn’t eat it anymore. Out waitress (who was also the bartender) was nice, but other people brought us our food so we couldn’t ask for things we needed. Then, it took forever for her to bring us our check. She wasn’t busy. She was just distracted. All in all, it was ok for brunch. We will definitely go back to try their dinner service.
Melissa J — Google review
Pretty awful. We lunch everywhere from the office. Won’t be returning. Arrived before noon (11-11:30), it was empty, food took an HOUR for salad, tacos, and a BLT. Food cold. Salad came without the expensive meat add on which doubled it. The bacon bits were jarred. The steak knife salad arrived with a butter knife and a quarter head of lettuce. That was fun. The dressing tasted like ranch (I ordered bleu cheese). This cost me 27.00 I gave 2 stars because they provided me with bread upon request at no extra cost. Friends were served somewhat cold, underwhelming tacos and sandwich. The new “gastro pubs” popping up are great ideas but need people who understand restaurants in Huntsville. Unless they change, that crowd won’t be showing up.

Visitors can indulge in a variety of goodies to take home or savor a luxurious hot cocoa during the winter months. The cozy atmosphere adds to the charm of this confectionery destination.
What an adorable place to enjoy the most flavor-FULL confections in Huntsville if not the world?!!! There are no words to describe the burst of culinary extravagance that plays upon the tongue. Y'all got to give them a whirl. It's true that they are a bit expensive but it is all worth it... And give them 5 stars plus a like on my review to help me. Thank you and enjoy🥰

The absolute best espresso martini you will ever have. A Huntsville staple with national recognition, Pizzelle’s is a must see for both locals and tourists. Handcrafted chocolate and cocktails, something here for everybody. Conveniently in the campus 805 area. Down the street from Stocehouse. Not far from I-565 and the parkway.

It was my first time here today and it was completely worth it. All the raving reviews are correct. Each confection is incredible. We did a tour and sampled their homemade marshmallow fluff and European buttercream. This place will knock your socks off. And the staff is exceptionally nice. When you see the work they put into their handmade chocolates and cakes… just trust me… you’ll understand everything about the place. Go get you a few chocolates, a little cake, a s’more. I brought home a bag of them.

Pizzelles is chocolate like you've never tasted before. Each piece is a beautifully crafted work of art with bold, unexpected flavors that surprise and delight. These aren't your typical chocolates—they're one-of-a-kind creations made with care, curiosity, and serious skill. If you're looking for something truly unique, Pizzelles delivers.

Whether you’re looking for high end, handcrafted chocolates that you can’t find anywhere else, with decadent and creative fillings to give as a gift or looking for an indulgent treat for yourself, this is the place for you. The sisters who own this shop have a passion for chocolate that shows in their creations. From their individual chocolate masterpieces to their luxurious hot chocolate, every single item here is utterly masterful and an absolute delight. I’ve been going to Pizzelles Chocolates for 11 years now and in all that time not only have I never seen the quality ever decrease but I continue to be amazed by the quality, flavor and creativity of their amazing creations. My personal favourites are the hot chocolate with lavender marshmallows, the seventh street truffle and their bourbon caramels, but I highly recommend trying absolutely everything to try to find your own favourite! This shop is my absolutely favourite place in Huntsville and I recommend it to absolutely everyone. I’m constantly amazed when I mention it to people and they haven’t heard of it! It’s Huntsville’s best kept secret that needs to get out!

We went on a guided tour as a homeschool group. I cannot say enough good things about this place!! The owners and staff are so sweet and so knowledgeable. The chocolate and treats are the best I have ever tasted. Highly recommend!!! We will be back for sure! So awesome to have an authentic chocolatier in Huntsville.

This place is amazing!! The atmosphere, the service, the chocolate❤️. I got the Day-o which was their tribute to Beetlejuice. It was so good. Yes, the price is a little high BUT if you are familiar with high quality chocolates AND you can appreciate the expertise it takes to not only create these confection but the exquisite decorations on them, it is worth every penny. All of the chocolates are shiny (means they know how to properly temper chocolate) and the attention to detail is top notch.
Adena F — Google review
Apparently this place is rated the #1 chocolate shop in the US according to one news article. Of course we had to try a few pieces of chocolate from here. The chocolate is an art here. The flavors are super unique and something you can’t find in many other shops. The intriguing colors, textures and designs make eating them feel incredibly wrong. However what they don’t mention in the article is the price of their chocolates. We spent $15 for 4 beautiful, tiny, chocolate art pieces. My personal favorite was the steel magnolia and the goodbye earl. Delicious high quality chocolates at a steep price. You’re buying edible art.

Bravo! Italian Kitchen is a upscale-casual Italian chain restaurant that serves pasta, grilled dishes, pizza and cocktails amid Roman-ruin decor. The food is praised by patrons for the freshness and quality of the ingredients. They also have a full bar with accepts credit cards and table service.
What an awesome experience. Bravo Italian Restaurant is our Happy Hour go to in Huntsville. The food is always amazing and the service is top notch. Today was exceptional due to the beautiful weather and excellent service from Tiara. She knew the food and drink menu and made special recommendations for both. After we devoured the food, the GM stopped by our table to introduce herself and say hello. Thanks for being a wonderful place to have a great meal and unwind.

Absolutely incredible experience at Bravo! The food and service was amazing! Christy was super knowledgeable and helped us pick what we had to eat and it was DELICIOUS! The filet and spaghetti- highly recommend! The calamari was yummy too! Can’t wait to come back and try different things next time!

Solid Italian and Mediterranean fare here. Service good but not stellar. Paper stock menus were noticeably dirty as we're other parts of the table. They need some quality control by management. Prices were high for what you got.

I usually love Bravo but I was so disappointed this time. I ordered and picked up something I have ordered many times before but this time it was cold, tasteless and all coating NO calamari. It was terrible!! I called bc I ordered and picked up. No one answered the phone so I got out and went in. There weren’t very many people inside and I had to wait for the hostess to stop playing on her phone so I could ask for my food. Management really needs to step up yo insure that patrons are getting quality food. The prices are very high when compared to quality. Not a good experience.

Me and my family came Easter morning for brunch expecting a nice brunch. We were wrong, we ordered Roman Breakfast with toast, sunny side up eggs and bacon. It took about 29 minutes till a waitress told us that it would be a few minutes and that the bacon was still cooking. About 10 minutes later we received our food. The bacon was thin as paper the toast was hard as a rock and the sunny side up eggs were so way over cooked that they were plastic textured. I love their dinner service but their brunch, never again especially for $90.
Zoey M — Google review
We had high hopes for our visit to Bravo Italian Kitchen, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from start to finish. Despite having a reservation, we waited over 20 minutes to be seated. The restaurant wasn’t busy, yet service was painfully slow and disorganized. They appeared short-staffed and ended up having the hostess double as our server. She lacked warmth, personality, and attention to detail — forgetting parts of our order and never once offering to refill our drinks. The atmosphere was also uncomfortable. The dining area felt stuffy and humid, making it hard to enjoy our meal. As for the food—the shrimp scampi was bland and lifeless, and the sauce tasted off. The Alfredo sauce and lobster bisque were thick and gummy, not creamy. The only highlights were the Diet Pepsi and the bread. We left feeling disappointed and forgotten. Sadly, we won’t be returning.

From the moment we were seated, Chasity made our entire experience at Bravos truly exceptional. She has that rare gift of making guests feel not just welcomed, but genuinely cared for. Her warm smile, attentiveness, and positive energy created an atmosphere that immediately set the tone for a wonderful evening. What stood out the most was how effortless she made everything feel. She anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, offered thoughtful recommendations with confidence, and checked in on us at just the right times without ever being intrusive. It’s clear she takes great pride in her work and in making sure her guests feel valued. Chasity turned what could have been just another dinner into a memorable experience worth celebrating. Her kindness and professionalism left such a lasting impression, and it’s employees like her who truly elevate Bravos to another level. We left not only impressed with the food, but even more grateful for the amazing service. City Cafe Diner is always great food and good service with good portions for a reasonable price. Breakfast lunch and dinner available like a chain restaurant, but with people who care about their customers and the product they make. Seating and tables are nice and there is a large selection of cake and desserts at the front entrance.

City diner Incredible variety, great quality & quantity. Greek? Yes. Italian? Yes. Classic burgers & shakes? Yes. Fried chicken ? Yes. Fried fish ? Yes. Cakes? Huge giant luxury cakes that are awesome? Yes!!!! This is a diner that reminds me of the glory of all the northerners diners with all the grace & charm of the international relaxed rocket city 😎 vibe. Southern classy & sassy & fun with beautiful booths & great music. This a great place to cater a holiday, to book a party in the family dining room, or have a business lunch with fellow staff. Wonderful for; team event's, baby showers, bridal showers, graduations, family reunions. This place is an well known in the area but undiscovered as a next big stylish southern diner classic. Should be on a top ten to visit in Alabama.

Love the food and service here. We have eaten at the one in Chattanooga Tn and Huntsville AL. The service and food were great resturants were clean has to be for me. Loved the avocado toast my son had a Greek dish and said it was delicious not sure of the name of the dish. Great food and great service Thank you to both locations.

Oh my gosh the food was delicious and service excellent! I got the pierogies with spinach and mushrooms with alfredo sauce and my husband had a club sandwich. My son had stir fry. All were scrumptious. We’re coming back tomorrow!

Actually felt like a little slice of NYC. Our kid and daughter met us there and we shared food from several plates. It was so good, teriyaki, pierogi, club sandwich, fries, salads, and so full we got pie to go. Put the place back on our dinner list for tomorrow afternoon we tour the Cathedral Cave. We had the best waiter, listened and served up exactly what we wanted, the way we wanted. Yes we have leftovers for lunch. Super sized portions. Wish we had a place like this in Columbus, OH.

Had a delicious City Cafe Omelette. Excellent flavor and great service. Wife enjoyed her breakfast quesadilla . And coffee is free M-F until 10am! We didn’t have any but the cakes looked amazing.

Enjoyed my visits here, proper diner feel. Portions are large, service was good. Got the tour of Greece, because I wanted to try everything, I had enough leftovers to take for lunch for 2 days. The lemon potatoes were surprisingly pleasant, the gyro was good and toppings were fresh, the spanakopita was nice and fluffy/crisp on the outside with plenty of spinach on the inside, the top layer of the moussaka was light and amazing, the pasticcio was probably my least favorite but still good. Had zero room for desserts but really to try some of that magic in the cake case... maybe next time.

Southern restaurant (US)
Restaurant
Walton's Southern Table, located in Huntsville, Alabama, offers a contemporary yet relaxed atmosphere to enjoy down-home Southern meals like fried chicken and meatloaf. The restaurant provides a wide variety of side dishes to complement their classic southern dishes. Customers can indulge in delicious desserts such as the Lemon Ice Box Pie. Known for its speedy service, reasonable prices, and tasty food, Walton's Southern Table is a popular choice for American comfort foods in the area.
Walton's serves lots of Southern classics. The fried green tomatoes are a must try. I would eat here again just for them. They are seasoned with a nice crunchy breading. The sauce it comes with is also delicious. I tried the chicken fried chicken. It was juicy and tasty with a white gravy. The gravy was flavorful but tasted more like a breakfast gravy. I really enjoyed the sweet potato casserole. It was sweet without tasting like a dessert. The hashbrown casserole was cheesy and creamy, as was the macaroni. I was not a fan of the yeast rolls.

I wanted to give this place another shot before I left a review. Went once during lunch while at work with a coworker, another time on President's Day with my wife and kids. Both times I visited we were promptly seated. The average age of the customer here is about 60; makes for some quiet meals which can be good. Not really date night but they have a very loyal customer base of older Hunstville residents who love the food. The food is primarily southern-style cooking: fried chicken, baked chicken, Mac-n-cheese, green beans, yeast rolls etc. Very much channels the home cooking vibe but tends a little more cafeteria to me. Our service has been excellent each time, most recently Samson was our server and he was excellent. Just the right amount of attentive and not pushy at all. Food was a meh for me. My wife and kids liked it, as did my coworker, but I was not a fan. I wouldn't personally choose to go back here but wouldn't veto it. They were out of chicken tenders for the kids meals when we visited most recently, which is weird because they had fried chicken and roast chicken -- I guess it isnt a high demand item and they buy frozen perhaps? They were also out of the printed kids menus (which were available as a PDF on their website) so this just goes to show you who the core demographic for customers happens to be.. Either way, both of my kids chose to get a bowl of mac and cheese, I got the Southern Fried Chicken and the wife got the Veggie plate. Wife said her food was good for the most part, I enjoyed the fried chicken more than I did the chicken and dressing on the previous visit. My fried chicken was mixed, I enjoyed one piece and wasn't a fan of the other. I am definitely NOT a fan of thr mashed potatoes. They include some skin in the potatoes and they have a thick consistency, I honestly think Idahoan makes better. The green beans and the corn was pretty decent. Wife really liked her strawberry and walnut salad (which was more akin to a jello brownie than a salad, definitely do some research before ordering). I am not a fan of the corn bread (unsweet and tends toward dry with minimal flavor), there yeast rolls is better. They have a few bottled beers and some wine, which is nice. Coke products to drink. Worth a shot but go with mid expectations and prepare to be pleasantly surprised. If you're over 60, this could be your new favorite spot :D

#Vegetarian. Our group of four visited on a Saturday afternoon and found plenty of open seating. The restaurant has a lovely Southern charm décor and a calm, relaxed vibe--perfect for enjoying conversation with friends. Service was friendly but a bit inexperienced. Our waitress wasn't sure about some menu details (such as whether the vegetables were cooked with meat or meat stock) and forgot one side order. The food itself was a mixed experience. The sides reminded me of cafeteria-style fare (similar to Piccadilly's). The macaroni and cheese tasted like it came from a box, with a liquid cheese sauce, and my meal arrived lukewarm. On the positive side, my husband really enjoyed his salmon croquettes, calling them "delicious." Overall, Walton's offers a pleasant, quiet atmosphere and friendly staff, but the food and service could use some polishing to match the beauty of the space.
Shirlean S — Google review
I ordered the grilled chicken with fried green tomatoes, fried okra, and Mac & cheese for lunch. The sides were great, especially the fried green tomatoes. The grilled chicken didn't taste or feel fresh. It was rubbery and bland. It made me feel like it had been previously cooked and just microwaved or heated up. I did order a ToGo meal for my partner, and the packaging was pretty impressive. The meal was pretty hefty, so I didn't order dessert. I would like to come here again, and do recommend this establishment. Next time, I'll get the chicken and dressing.

Walton’s is our go to spot for meat and 3. The good is always great and the service is on time. We utilize the take out often. The service is very quick. I’m partial to the Rosemary Chicken, but the Pot Roast, Salmon Patties, and Meatloaf are also very good.

I had the catfish with two sides, black-eyed peas and cold broccoli salad. It also came with hushpuppies. The catfish was great and the sides were really good. The hushpuppies were a little dense. I really had hoped that they had some sandwich options.

Great location with easy access, this is a wonderful southern cooking, comfort food restaurant. With plenty of seating and attentive professional staff, we always get consistently great food here. Country Fried Steak, Fried Catfish, Chicken Fried Steak, add some mashed potatoes, fried okra and turnip greens and you are set. We’ve tried everything on the menu and ended with the chocolate pie and have left completely satisfied. I would definitely say yes, do try Waltons.

Viet Huong is a modest Vietnamese restaurant that offers a wide selection of traditional dishes, such as pho, noodles, and clay pot meals. Despite its unassuming appearance, the restaurant has gained popularity among locals for its generous portions and flavorful Vietnamese cuisine. While their Rare Steak and Brisket Pho is a crowd favorite, they also serve clay pot bowls, crab Rangoon, noodle dishes, and egg rolls.
Good eat place! Service was good. I love their fried egg rolls. They came out hot and crispy. I had the Korean short ribs, my wife had the chicken clay pot. Food was excellent. We will definitely continue to support

This place was pretty decent. It gets really crowded but the service is good. The food was tasty and they give you a good size portion. I wasn't too impressed with their spring rolls as I prefer the crunchy one's but the seafood claypot was great. The crab Rangoon was good as well. I'll definitely be back for that seafood claypot

Incredible food. The best Vietnamese food I’ve had. So much flavor. The beef and chicken clay pot was a hit at our table. We also enjoyed the Korean beef and the vermicelli with charbroiled pork. Highly recommend!!! The Vietnamese coffee was great too. The egg rolls were to die for! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I will spend my days chasing the Pho I had here.. so good! Worth going back to Huntsville just for this stop. I lean towards vegetarian menus but opted for the plain beef pho and added crispy tofu and would order this again and again and again if I could.

Viet Houng as an absolute delight. They use fresh ingredients, and they bring your food to you piping hot! Their vegetarian menu is all I have ordered from (in addition to appetizers and boba), and everything on there I have tried is DELICIOUS! I also enjoy the number of hot sauces and condiments available at the table! They have some of the best chili oil I have tried; I can't get enough of it. I would recommend trying their spring rolls (I dream about their peanut sauce), as well as some boba for desert! They use cream in their boba which makes it a little different than most places, and it's very rich! I will often come to eat here when I want a nice sit down restaurant near MidCity, without the ridiculous MidCity prices. I would highly recommend!

Believe the hype. This place is good! It was super busy on a Tuesday night so I figured it had to be good. The service was good for it being so busy. Prompt and polite. The atmosphere is very nice. Very clean. I got the fresh spring rolls for an appetizer and they were delicious. Excellent sauce to dip them in. I got the special clear noodle bowl as an entree and my partner got shaken beef. My noodle bowl was really good. All the seafood was cooked perfect. The shaken beef was cooked perfectly. I'm probably going to order that the next time I come! Can't wait to come back and try more things!

It was our first time to eat there. While the service was excellent, the food wasn’t up to par. I ordered the chicken curry and rice. The flavor was good, but the chicken was way over cooked…tough and chewy. My wife ordered chicken and vegetables and she had the same issue with her chicken.

Words cannot explain the amazing taste and flavor of this dish. My wife and I have been recently interested in trying new places and came across Viet Cuisine, It was our first time experiencing Vietnamese food and it did NOT disappoint! The service has to be some of the best I've personally experienced at any restaurant, greeted and seated within less than a minute of entering this establishment. Not to mention after we got our drinks and placed our orders, the food came out in less than 5 minutes between the two of us. The only thing I would have to say that I wasn't a fan of was the lack of space that the restaurant has in terms of seating but besides that I enjoyed my experience here today and I would highly recommend if you're ever willing to try new things! (I chose my dish based off other Google reviews so I had an idea of what I'd like ahead of time!)

Me and my coworkers love coming here, for a sitdown or to get takeout. The prices are very reasonable, the service is quick, food is delicious and comes out quickly. Mason Dixon Bakery & Bistro is a charming establishment that prides itself on being Alabama's first gluten-free bakery and bistro. Located in a 1940s house, this classic setting offers a creative cafe menu featuring cookies, custom cakes, and breads. Whether it's for small gatherings or large special events like weddings, they provide nutritious and delicious options. In addition to their delectable baked goods, they also offer catering services for weddings as well as corporate and private events.
Mason Dixon was absolutely phenomenal as our wedding caterer and baker! Our menu was a dream: the pear Gorgonzola salad was fresh and flavorful, the chicken marsala with mushroom cream sauce was perfectly cooked, and the grilled salmon with pomegranate glaze was a standout dish. The garlic mashed potatoes were creamy and decadent, and the green beans almondine added the perfect touch of elegance to the meal. And the cake – wow! The chocolate peanut butter marble cake was both visually stunning and delicious, with every bite being a crowd-pleaser. The team at Mason Dixon was professional, organized, and made sure everything went off without a hitch. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. They truly helped make our wedding day unforgettable. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience! We literally drove over an hour away to come here because It was a dye-free restaurant. It's really annoying having to ask about everything so we typically don't eat out very much. Highly recommend this place will definitely return when we are in the area!

Mason Dixon was our caterer for our late summer wedding reception and we were so pleased! We were able to work with the team to select the best options for our reception size and menu, and the tasting appointment was so much fun! Donna made the extra trip to setup the day before (since we had our venue reserved for a day and a half). They provided the linens for the buffet tables, and could accommodate adding a customized coffee bar. We compared several catering options across Huntsville and Mason Dixon included the most service and selections (cloth napkins, paper and plastic products, staff to help clean and serve) and even plated our wedding cake for us after the cake cutting! The tax and gratuity were included in the quoted price so I did not have to worry about missing any costs. Donna thinks of everything including extra plasticware for the DJ and photographer, and made us a to-go box for my husband and I to enjoy later! Our guests gave great reviews of the food and everyone enjoyed dinner. I would definitely use Mason Dixon again! Note the photos are the day before (several staff served the buffet and the food was hot and generous servings during our reception).

Rachel and Pepper went out of their way to accommodate my requests and made the whole process so easy and stress-free. You can truly tell how much care and attention to detail goes into everything they do. I am beyond grateful and couldn’t have imagined a better experience. So glad I gave this burger joint a try! Slider trio special on Tuesdays, so I got lucky and didn't have to pick just 1 burger! 😅 All 3 were delicious but that bulgogi burger really hit! Plenty of burgers and loaded fries to choose from, so definitely add this to your list.

Came in on a Wednesday evening. Had the best meal! My family ordered a Jamaican Jerk burger, deviled eggs, an Asian salad, a peach fried pie, and a Dr. Robot beer. Everything was fresh and delicious! Loved the beer recommended by the bar staff and all the food! Love the atmosphere here too. Highly recommend!!

One of my favorite places to eat! Phenomenal food in both taste & quality. Highly recommend the heifer with cheese, cheesy fries & the bulgogi wings! So glad that I made the decision to try this place because I was a little hesitant at first, as it's not my usual style of food, but now I can't get enough!

Love the restaurant's vibe and decor, but the food wasn't up to par. Service was good and the order came fairly quick. But we ordered Mac and cheese, fries, and 2 burgers. We requested medium well for the burgers and it came out way too pink for a typical medium well. The fries were pretty standard, as well as the Mac and cheese. Overall a generally nice place but it's not for me.
Kita — Google review
I’m sitting at the restaurant now and baffled at the extremely high prices. $4.20 for a standard fountain drink. There are no combo meals except kids only meals. A burger is around $15 and standard fries are $4. Sorry folks, I cannot recommend it. My food hasn’t arrived yet so I’m not going to comment on the food. This is food truck prices in a small no frills restaurant. They have 10 employees working in a place that might seat 50. I highly suggest adding meal combos, reducing number of staff standing around and adjusting prices to be more in line with industry. Updated: the food was great, though too expensive.

Wife and I drove from Harvest to try out this place…and it was totally worth it!! The misses had the Plane Jane with Colby and I had the Black and Bleu minus the tomato. We shared the cheese fries. Burgers were cooked perfectly and juicy. The A1 mayo for me was delicious 🤤, but the bartender offered their homemade BBQ sauce which took both burgers over the top! Fries were 🔥!!Wife had the Moscato and I had a Bitburger (taking me back to my time in Germany). They fry with beef tallo, which is way healthier than seed oils! They are all about knowing where their meats and produce come from and ensuring they provide quality food for everyone! Decorations was fun and cute! Totally enjoyable experience and will bring family and friends when they visit and we will be back ourselves!!

As you enter, you're enveloped in a warm and inviting ambiance that instantly makes you feel at ease. The menu boasts an impressive selection of sushi rolls, poke bowls, and other delightful dishes crafted with the freshest ingredients. Oshi takes pride in maintaining high quality without compromising on convenience.
Asian Chipotle Poke bowl was delicious: fish was fresh, greens were crisp, and the sauce was just spicy enough but not overpowering. The sushi rolls were also excellent, but the presentation is even more impressive. Such beautiful plating! Self-serve beverages are available, as well as free ice water from glass dispensers and real glasses, which is a nice touch vs. disposable cups. Prices might be a bit on the high side, but the ingredient seems to be of high quality. Ordering at the counter means less table-side service, but your food is still brought out to the table after ordering.

We ended up getting a mix of everything, Thai garlic with spring rolls, multiple sushi and sashimi, dumpling ramen, and a poke bowl with beef, last but not least, sexy jalapeño! Oshi is a really nice option to consider if you are looking for sushi, poke, or ramen in downtown Huntsville. Inside is a small bar serving beer and a few selections of sake bottles. They also offer pours of hot or chilled house sake. The ramen is generous portions. It's not particularly fancy or photogenic but it's hot and savory just like it should be. There is a nice variety of sushi options and we found our rolls to be well made and creative. The poke was a little light on meat and the build your own could probably use a few more options but overall very happy. The best part here was the excellent service. Everyone was very friendly, helpful in ordering and our food came out super fast and delivered directly to our table. We did bring several kids and they found nice options to eat and the booths were comfortable and good for the kids.

I love this place! The yummy little donut holes are served hot and fresh, every time. So many flavors to choose from. Cheaper on the wallet than a box of donuts too. Can't go wrong filling your sweet tooth here.🥰

The best donuts I've ever had in my life! The man who made the donuts while we waited took the time to tell my kids about them and what the differences were so they could choose which ones they wanted. He was very busy people kept coming in and it was almost closing but he took care of everyone with a professional kindness and didn't miss a beat. He did all that and still made everyone's donuts hot and fresh to order and the wait time was fast and easy. We are still talking about the the donuts. They were amazing and we bought 4 kinds. I'm glad we let the kids buy the little Bigfoot stuffed animals because it was definitely a happy memory ❤️ We live out of town but will definitely gets these donuts again. The man who took care of us was as impressive as the donuts and we wanted to say thank you. Looking forward to next time.

Best donuts in Huntsville! They have a great list of year around flavors or try their seasonal specials that will light your tastebuds up! Staff is super friendly and the shop is decorated to the theme of Bigfoot. I bring these to work and home, everyone loves the flavor and variety.

Great service and amazing donuts! They come with "minimum 12" per order lol but I had about 20ish 😂 great price and awesome taste

These little donuts are so good. I've been several times but this is my first review. Once you order your donuts they are made fresh while you wait. Once you get these little sugar morsels will have you driving side ways lol They do have tables for you to eat in but I guarantee you, you will eat at least six before you make it home.

BEST DONUTS I HAVE EVER HAD! Seriously, don't waste your time and looking at other places this is the place! The people are friendly but the donuts speak for themself. Made to order and soooooooo good! I want to go back and get all of them. The price is just right and worth every penny! Just try it you won't regret it. I wish this place was where I lived. A MUST STOP!!!

Another Broken Egg Cafe is a popular breakfast spot in Huntsville, offering a variety of egg dishes, breakfast sandwiches, and unique brunch options. The menu features different versions of Eggs Benedict, scrambled skillets, omelettes, healthy choices, and pancakes. Additionally, the cafe serves large and delicious burgers and sandwiches for those who prefer lunch options. Located downtown near the Von Braun Center, it provides quick service with a wide menu selection and complimentary flowing coffee.
I recently visited Another Broken Egg Cafe in Huntsville, AL, and I was thoroughly impressed! As a vegetarian, it can be challenging to find good options when dining out, but this restaurant exceeds the expectation. They have an entire vegetarian menu, and they’re very accommodating about making adjustments to items on the regular menu as needed. They also have a gluten free menu. We went early on a Sunday morning, before the crowd that often comes prior to church services. The place was quiet and peaceful, which made for a very enjoyable dining experience. I ordered the Southwest Scramble, removed the meat, and added spinach and mushrooms. It was absolutely delicious! To enhance the flavor, I requested sour cream and hot sauce, which were the perfect finishing touches. The breakfast potatoes were a standout—perfectly crisp and wonderfully seasoned. As someone who loves lemon in my water, I was thrilled when my waitress brought me plenty, just as I requested. She was very attentive, promptly refilling our drinks and water throughout the meal. There was a small mix-up when someone at our table ordered an item not realizing it included bacon. The mistake wasn’t the waitress’s fault—it was ordered incorrectly—but she still apologized sincerely and replaced the dish quickly without any hassle. While the food and service were fantastic, it’s worth noting that the meal was a bit on the expensive side, costing about $20 per person. However, the quality of the food and the excellent service made it a special occasion option. Another Broken Egg Cafe is a great spot for a delicious breakfast or brunch, especially if you’re looking for vegetarian-friendly options.

We tried this breakfast restaurant on a whim and it turned out to be amazing. Walked in and had a short 10 minute wait before being seated. It was pretty crowded inside! I ordered the biscuits and gravy which came with potatoes, eggs and a choice of meat. The biscuits were delicious! The serving size was also perfect. Not too much and not too little. We also got a side order of the beignets just to try them. Also delicious. Prices were decent. Parking was extremely limited so you may have to walk a little to get here. A great restaurant find in downtown HSV!

Pretty mediocre. Good amount of food. Only vegetarian option was veggie omelette which was fine except the spinach wasn’t cooked enough. Potatoes were also just fine. Servers were very friendly and attentive! Overall would say it’s fine but definitely not a favorite and I probably will not go back.

What an amazing breakfast!! The eggs Benedict were so good!! I’m not from the south, and grits are not common where I’m from, so I had to try them. I was not disappointed!! The city grits were delicious!

This was our 1st time. Ordered the Biscuit and Gravy.. Had a lot of pepper in the gravy....little too hot for my taste..needs little more gravy with it. Service was good... Because we were not satisfied...they voided our ticket. You would just have to go try for yourself.

I had an amazing experience this morning at Another Broken Egg! The food was fresh, delicious, and came out quickly, but what truly made my visit outstanding was my waitress, Brooklyn D. She was warm, attentive, and genuinely made me feel welcomed from start to finish. She had no idea what a rough two weeks I have had, but she made my day bright. Brooklyn anticipated everything I needed and provided excellent service with a great attitude and a smile. Her professionalism and friendliness turned a good breakfast into a great one. Highly recommend this spot and if you’re lucky enough to have Brooklyn as your server, you’re in for top-notch service! Thank you!

We’ve been loyal to Another Broken Egg for 7 years, but this visit was a huge letdown. Arrived Sunday at 10am , no crowd, no wait. Server Fredy took our order, dropped off drinks, then vanished for 25+ minutes. No refills, no check-ins, just watered-down drinks in the heat. We watched other tables servers come and go get ours never returned Food was great, but service was non-existent. A hostess eventually came out and closed out our table because our server never came back. Poor communication + lack of basic customer care = we won’t be returning.

Really cool place! The free tour (free beer included) is a perfect way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Roadkill, the tour guide, is awesome and makes the experience so much fun. Highly recommend going here if you’re looking for something to do in the area.
Philip F — Google review
Food was mid at best. The ale was the best part and I guess that makes sense for a brewery, but the food fare was so average. The bbq poutine was imbalanced, the pulled pork tasted old and reheated, the Bistro burger was the saltiest burger I’ve ever tasted, and the three cheese pizza tasted like something I could’ve purchased in a gas station. The cherry on top for the experience was the little cockroach circling our family near the high top table during our meal. Not a top tier recommendation for Huntsville. Highly overrated.
Billy B — Google review
I loved it here! The service was excellent, the first waitress we had gave amazing recommendations based on my first couple beer choices and offered samples so I could narrow down which one I wanted and nailed my flavor profile. She was just delightful, so we came back a second time. The large pretzel was one of the best I’ve ever had with great beer cheese sauce, nice and warm (not like it had been sitting out). The salad on the menu was tasty and very fresh. The cheese curds were hot and fresh and delicious. My friend ordered the jerk chicken tacos and enjoyed them. The kids chicken tenders and fries were delightful as well. Make sure you check out the back patio on a nice day, we didn’t find it until the second time! A very cool space and tasty food. I also got some cans to go, which she grabbed for me and put right on my tab.

Nice taproom with ~20 beers on draft. Good atmosphere and you can see the brewhouse while you eat & drink. The Monkeynaut IPA that I had fresh on draft was waaaaaay better than the ones I’ve tried in cans elsewhere.

I'm very picky when it comes to beer but this place didn't disappoint! Belgian double, imperial maibock and double coffee Stout were all on point! Czech pils was good too but the others were flawless. Service was nice too but I was in during a slow time. Good prices and vibe. Will be back for the other beers soon!

Jack Brown's Beer & Burger Joint in Huntsville, Alabama is a funky and casual bar chain that offers a wide selection of craft beers and mouth-watering burgers. The laid-back atmosphere and delicious aroma of grilled burgers create an inviting experience for visitors.
Vibrating music and tasty burgers. They serve burgers in a variety of manners. The burger is juicy, has the right amount of ingredients on a soft bun. The fries are crisp and the cheese fries have a soft cheese coating with a nice texture until the end. The music is pulsating with a slightly loud volume that allows for conversation. They have a large selection of beers. Had a fun meal, left with a smile and will return.

What a great bar! Music was great with the 90s punk rock hits. All their burger options looked great and they have a special for each day of the week. Fries had a nice crispness to them and made an excellent pairing with their house made sauce. Plenty of beer options as well as soda and non alcoholic options. Tables are small inside and not a lot of seating space. Gotta wait to be seated but even though they were busy, they managed to get everyone seated and served timely and efficiently. Great decor inside matching the music vibe. Absolutely loved this place! Street parking available and we were able to snatch a spot, but i don’t know if there are other options near by.

We tried it for the first time and liked it. They have feature burgers each day of the week. We decided to order from the regular menu. I got the Greg Brady. My wife order d the Cobra Kai. Both were delicious. I never had a burger with Mac n cheese. The chips gave it just the right amount of crunch. My wife loved the bite from the jalapeño jelly. It was different but in a great way. The fries were hot and crispy. The house dipping sauce was awesome! Make sure you try it! The sweet tea was just the way we like it. They also offer a good selection of beers, some from local breweries. We’re already planning our next visit.

Our server, Lance, was great! He recommended Cobra Kai, and usually, I am a wimp for spicy. Thought it was out of my comfort zone but gave it a try anyway. Wow, that was delicious! If ever in Huntsville, I would love to go back.

Great burgers....Tons of options to choose from. We tried the Molly Dooker (Sriracha Honey Grilled Onions, Applewood Smoked Bacon and Bleu Cheese Crumbles) and the Dr Gonzo (Applewood Smoked Bacon, Guiness Grilled Onions, Sauteed Mushrooms and Swiss Cheese) . They were both cooked perfectly.....Juicy and tasty....seasoned just right. Their Jacked Up Fries are ridiculously good......Crinkle cut fries with cheese sauce, applewood smoked bacon, Guiness grilled onions and jalapenos. Seriously good. And don't forget to have a dessert....Two words...Fried Oreos! Yep! Sooo good. The atmosphere is cool and vibey with tons of kitschy decor inside and cute tables outdoors on the covered patio. Service was stellar. Definitely a new favorite for us.

This location is downtown, we went on a Monday during lunch hrs and looked like everyone that works downtown goes here for lunch as well. With that being said they looked very understaffed but the customer service was great! Imo our burgers were kinda mid, like if you get nothing but a classic burger you'll be disappointed. Definitely get a burger with toppings and loaded fries. We paid $50 for 2 burgers...loaded fries and a beer

Moe's Original BBQ is a laid-back eatery that specializes in Alabama-style pulled pork and other smoked meats, all prepared in-house for an authentic taste. Had a great turkey loaded potato for lunch. The bartender was a great multi tasker, as I noticed she was doing several duties at once. I asked for a sidecar and she didn’t know what it was at first but was willing to look up the ingredients and make it for me. She didn’t have to go above and beyond but did, was greatly appreciated.
Deshawnna C — Google review
I’ve been coming to this establishment for years now and the prices continue to increase, which I understand. You took away the drink happy hour specials during the week , which is what brought customers in. You now give .50 cents off during your “happy hour” during the week? I ’m sure no one cares about that .50 cents. Once happy hour is over there’s a chance they may stay afterwards. Honestly, you’re hurting the bartenders and the business because people are not tipping as much. Other bars downtown have a way better special during the week than you guys. Football season is approaching and hopefully you guys can figure something out. Also, what happened to the live music? Why is a mimosa (cooks champagne) more expensive than a vodka soda, doesn’t make sense to me. Also, shouldn’t you honor these prices that you advertise? By the way the bartenders are wonderful!
Malcolm S — Google review
❗️please note this is no reflection on in-house staff, quality of service and/or food❗️ It absolutely disheartens me to do this but something has to be said and attention has to be brought to the matter…. I have been a weekly (and I mean several days a week) regular as long as moes original has been in downtown Huntsville.. I have much love for all of the staff. The bartenders especially are fantastic. But the pricing has become out of hand. I understand inflation and price fluctuations but $21 for TWO draft beers that cost $12 a six pack is absurd…. Not to mention $28 for a wing platter, $8.50 for a MIMOSA & $7.50 for a WELL shot?!?….might i add they no longer even do live music… You’re only hurting your front of house and bartenders with this price increase. Accumulating less business and lower tip percentages. I hope that moes comes to their senses soon because as it stands, it’s hardly affordable to go anymore… which I absolutely hate..
Becky M — Google review
Great spot for barbecue after happy hour drinks with friends! I recommend the pulled pork sandwich and loaded nachos. The “nachos” come on kettle chips, which is an interesting and authentic for a BBQ spot. Potato salad is the yellow kind, basically flavored mashed potatoes.

We stopped at Moe’s for lunch while downtown and really enjoyed the food and experience! If you like outdoor seating than you’ll love Moe’s! They have two roof top dining areas and patio seating that opens up to the restaurant with garage doors at the street! The outdoor seating is why we chose Moe’s because we had our dog with us. Our initial plan was to just eat at the patio at the road but there was hardly any tables yet. The restaurant was gracious enough to let us walk our dog through the restaurant get to the roof top patios and I couldn’t be more appreciative of that! As far as the food goes, it was everything you wanted in BBQ! The pulled pork was good, the sides were amazing and the redneck nachos we had to start was a great choice! My favorite food was the Baked Beans! They were sweet and spicy and had a nice Jalapeño under taste without being too spicy or overpowering! Overall, we had a really great lunch at Moe’s! I would definitely say it’s worth giving it a shot!

Just about the food. Pork plate with 2 sides, got Mac-n-cheese and banana pudding. Serving sizes are ridiculously small for the sides. Mac-n-cheese was trash and I mean trash. Cold, dry, no flavor at all! Tasted like plain pasta with nothing on it. Was horrible. Pudding was bleh, had 2 wafers and not one banana, (guy with me as the same issue) was not good, was bland as hell and disappointing. the crappy banana flavored crap in a Chinese buffet tastes better than this. The pulled pork was watery (not juicy) and not very flavorful, used a good amount of sauce to help with that. Sauce was decent. First time there, last time there.
Rick B — Google review
I mean its just not worth it at all. Its a $10 meal (not)served for 20+. Not served because they forgot us, had a long wait, and gave us cold food. Tiny portion. Went to taco bell to get dinner afterwards. A kitchen staff member did help after others didnt. Thank you to her! But in general the culture is not what it should be and they really need management that cares and wants to be great

My family and I have ordered take out from this establishment that is also known as, 'Moe's Original BBQ', a total of two (2) times. We will not be ordering a third time that's for sure!! 😠 I made sure to look at their menu online and call and verify prices of the menu items we want to order, and at no point in either of the two (2) times I've called and ordered take out the employee(s) I spoke to never corrected me on the price of a 'double wide family pack' which showed $26.50. I asked both times I called and ordered (Aug. 23, 2024 & Aug. 15, 2025) about their menu showing $26.50 for the 'double wide family pack' and the only price difference the person(s) had said was different was the sides. Tell me why the first (1) time my family and I ordered takeout from here we were charged almost $100 for the 'double wide family pack' and two (2) kids meals(one (1) of which was left out of our order) and the second (2) times we ordered, Aug. 15, 2025, the same thing we get over charged for our order!! 😠 We were charged $55 for a 'double wide family pack' which I again had called and asked the employee that answered the phone about $26.50 being the price for the 'double wide family pack' and she said, "yes". When I asked about the price of an additional side she said that the prices of the sides had gone up. We are extremely disatified with the service at this establishment!! If you're gonna take orders over the phone your employee(s) need to know the menu prices of the food they offer and are taking orders for!! Also the person answering the phone and taking orders, they shouldn't be right next to the stage and or speakers blaring music at a deafening level of sound!! If you want to pay a ridiculous price for below par BBQ' you should definitely go here!! They'll do you a huge disservice and the security guard at the door will also hinder you at the door by questioning what you're doing there!!

The Moon Bakeshop, owned by Thom and Maddie Watkins, is a delightful fusion of European bakery and Southern kitchen. Located in downtown Huntsville, this charming bakery offers an array of delectable treats such as house-made croissants that are meticulously prepared over three days, frosted cupcakes, cinnamon buns, handmade cakes, pastries both sweet and savory, breads, muffins, cookies, and breakfast sandwiches.
Ran across this place while exploring the downtown area in the morning and we were so glad we did. Had quite the line but it moves quickly. They have everything displayed nicely as you wait. Everything looked amazing so we got a few things to try and bring back to the hotel. Apologies for the imperfect picture some people couldn’t wait to try them before I could get a good pic. Everything was fantastic, the muffin used fresh blueberries, the cookie was crispy outside but soft and chewy inside, the chocolate croissant was good, loved the scone. It was the perfect texture, even my husband enjoyed it and he’s usually not a fan. The cruffin was the best. I don’t normally like cream filling but this one was really light and perfectly balanced with the cinnamon flavor. Seems to be what they’re known for and definitely didn’t disappoint. Certainly worth the time to stop if you’re in town or live nearby.

Cute local spot! Brought my friend that visited from out of town and she LOVED the place. We did order a bunch of different items to try out. The savory Danish was a tad salter than we prefer, but it was still super delicious. My friend ordered a breakfast croissant and devoured it entirely (didn't expect to). The chocolate chip cookie was perfect snd the lemon blueberry cookie was light and refreshing. She enjoyed her Beach Bum coffee, and I enjoyed every sip of my vanilla latte! The cruffin was soooooo yummy: the filling was not too sweet and was supper light! I love this place!

A coworker brought Earl Grey Cupcakes with Lavender Buttercream to work this am. I decided to visit for lunch. Was good, not too pricey. $15 for oatmilk latte and Ham Havarti Croissant (17.50 after tip). Took 13 minutes for sandwich, maybe 5 min for coffee. Coffee is nice, bold flavor. Sandwich was good. Nice for a treat day! Wish it had better parking.

We picked this one bakery, based on reviews, for our breakfast stop before leaving town, and they did not disappoint! We got the daily cruffin, which was oreo cheesecake, two scones in bacon cheddar and honey cinnamon, a fudgey peanut butter dollop thing, and Americano to share. The cruffin was delightful, more like a cream puff filled with pastry cream and topped woth buttercream. No cream cheese flavor, which I like, but just soft and crispy at the same time. The scones were more like butter biscuits, not like typical dry brittle hockey pucks. Easy to eat in or take out, like on the way yo Cathedral Caverns, as you can see the cruffin cameo here. Easy parking, paid street parking $1 per 2 hours with meters that still take coins and a shared side lot with paid parking M-F. Do yourself a favor and stop by, now and frequently when you can!

I LOVE their egg sandwich! While pregnant, it was one of my constant cravings, and still always my go-to order now! They get very crowded on the weekend, so if you order it, you will have to wait a little while for them to make it, but it's worth the wait! Pro tip: eat the sandwich upside down so all the seasoning on top of the focaccia touches your taste buds!

Beware the line on Saturday morning!! This place was packed, and for good reason. My latte was delicious and I was pleased to have a gluten free option. I really enjoyed the gf power bar but wasn’t a huge fan of the gf peanut butter cookie. They did change their gloves without me asking, but the gf treats are in the same area with normal treats, just as a heads up for the celiac crowd.

Love this place, lots of grab and go options and seating inside. I have gotten some pastries to go before but this was the first time I ate in and I was glad that we decided to meet here for breakfast. It was a quiet place for conversation, good service, and great food. The spicy eggacado was crisp and buttery on the outside. The cheesy grits had good flavor and texture, but also very filling. Coffee was also good. Would definitely come here again.

This place has wonderful sweet treats! We only pop in on occasion to get the lemon squares which are a perfect ooey gooey balance between sweet and tart. We also get their chocolate chip cookies which are a delightful mix of soft and chewy. A few times I got my husband the cheesecake and the large cinnamon roll, which puts Cinnabon to shame, and my daughter the banana nut muffin which she raved about for days. They loved each one and said their sweet treats were the best they had of that kind. I've also tried the Classic chicken salad which is pretty good. If you want more of a sweeter undertone in your chicken salad, I'm told their Southern chicken salad would hit the spot. Definitely recommend trying them out.

Delicious, I will be visiting every time I'm in Huntsville. The pepper slawand chicken salad is absolutely amazing . Moist cupcakes and the most delicious chocolate buttercream I have ever had. I did have one thing I didn't like ,I ordered a carrot cake for my sisters birthday the cake is good but wasn't a traditional carrot cake taste , the cake was more cinnamon flavored, and the icing did not have a hint of cream cheese but still good just wasn't a traditional carrot cake taste . Everything else is absolutely amazing the Hot sticky bun omg !!! 🤤🤤🤤 This is a must visit landmark.

Another fantastic restaurant, and this one includes a bakery! My grandkid introduced me to this place, and my only problem this place? There is not one in Oklahoma! Great sandwiches, and deserts! When you are in Huntsville you have to try this place! Wow. Im giving a 4 star rating on the atmosphere due to the room temperature being quite warm. Other than that; Wow!

Love the atmosphere, not impressed with the products. It's like a bakery for people who don't know what a real bakery is. I've tried several baked items since they opened, and everything was average, or below average, and nothing special. There are other bakeries, like L'Etoille, in town that make quality products. I was at Edgar's today at lunch time and asked what the brown cake was in the display case, as the sign was missing. The employee didn't know, so she brought over another employee, and she didn't know either. They both looked at me and said they didn't know (seriously?!... It's not like you have so many cakes that you can't remember them all. There are actually very few cakes for sale.). Then one reluctantly offered to go ask somebody in the back. It was turtle. What is a turtle cake? She looked at me like I should have known, at which point I gave up. I bought a jalapeno cheddar bread loaf. I also got a warm honey maple cinnamon roll and it was dry in the middle and so hard on the bottom that I wasn't able to cut it. I tried to eat it there at the table but had to take it home and use a steak knife. And the employee cut it right out of the pan and put in a box for me, but apparently it had been sitting around while since it was hard. If you want a good bakery, this is not it. Please visit other bakeries in town and you will see much better products and service.

It is one of those restaurants that you wait on line to order your food & they bring it to your table. The ladies you order from were very pleasant. They helped me come up with a delicious latte to order. Breakfast is available until 10:00 am Monday-Friday & 2:00 pm on Saturday. The food came out to the table pretty quick. I got the breakfast holdon ( I think that was what it was called. It was delicious. We were 6 in our party & everyone thought their food was really good. The lady across from me alsaud the chicken salad was wonderful.

Me and granddaughter went in for a cupcake (for a sugar craving) she was overwhelmed by all of the choices- instead of 2 cupcakes we ended up doing a cupcake taste testing!! She loved it and we will definitely be back - want to go back and get one of their sandwiches and/or salads. Very reasonable and was super tasty!!!

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Downtown Huntsville, BeeZr is a delightful gastropub and social hub that invites you to indulge in a unique culinary experience. With an enticing brunch menu featuring gluten-free and vegan options like the Hot Tamale Supreme and Killer Cereal, there's something for everyone. Pair your meal with refreshing specialty drinks such as French Mimosas or classic Bloody Marys while soaking up the lively atmosphere.
What an awesome place for a romantic date night or a place to bring friends for a great vibe! The dreamy outdoor lights and plants drew us in. Our server Shaun was incredible and had a cheery personality. We both agreed that we had the best buffalo wings of our lives and we cannot wait to try the other flavors!! The menu did not lie- the wings had a golden crisp. The chicken was juicy and the wings were big and fresh! The ranch was delicious as well. Our cheesecake looks great as you can see here but was outrageously overpriced at $18 a slice and was overcooked and under-sweetened. But the dessert was our only complaint. We will definitely be back again!!

I adore Beezr. This is my favorite bar in Huntsville. Whether it is Beezr Oktoberfest, half priced bottles of wine on thursday, or one of Heiko’s signature frappachino martinis, they are going to take care of you! The entire staff is incredibly friendly and I always feel like part of the family. Check out some of the newer menu offerings like the honey and fire pizza or weekend brunch. Bring your dog and hang out on the patio. Schedule an event in the special upstairs area. Pop in for live music on Thursdays, you’re going to love it!

I love BeeZr. I came here with my daughter and her husband for late lunch. We had great food and drinks. It was so good, came back for brunch. Now back with my husband

Nice brewery taproom downtown in a restored old building. Plenty of tables upstairs and downstairs with a big bar opposite the brewing area (Chandler Ford Brewing). The beer is fresh and tasty, and they have some guest taps on hand to supplement the somewhat limited brewery taps. The service is top-notch, very attentive from the guy at the door to the bartenders. Parking in the garage next door is free on the weekends, otherwise you’ll need to find street parking.
Jamey M — Google review
Good food and a great atmosphere. Our server, Donovan, was extremely accommodating and had an amazing personality (I will be coming back to see him). My Caprese pizza was amazing and everything tasted great. The price range is about $40 per person and I highly recommend it, if you're in downtown Hville.

The pazini was AMAZING!!! Kaylee was the best bartender and server ever she was very attentive and friendly couldn’t ask for anything better, Trey was also very friendly and hilarious will definitely be back!!

Great beer selection and delicious food options! Nice outdoor seating with lots of shade and beautiful flowers. Bar and table seating. Mellow vibe and lovely staff!
Wynter G — Google review
Wonder experience. The food was great and the atmosphere encouraged communication with friends. There are several areas to sit (outside, inside balcony, at the bar, or next to the brewers). The waiting staff are nice and friendly. I wouldn’t bring children in due to the bar environment, but the outside area was clean convenient and artsy. I will absolutely be back. P.S. The bathrooms are very clean and are pleasant to the senses…

Catacomb 435 is a distinctive underground bar in the heart of Huntsville, offering a unique experience for patrons seeking something beyond the typical bar scene. With its ambiance resembling ancient catacombs, including dimly lit stone walls and archways, it provides an intimate atmosphere perfect for enjoying craft cocktails or local brews. This 1920s-inspired speakeasy is known for its limited seating and requires reservations made well in advance.
Amazing speakeasy experience. The drinks were absolutely phenomenal and the bartender was fantastic. Her suggestion of everything works with everything was very true. They do things a little differently than other places so make sure to give it a go! Make a reservation online and enjoy the ride!
Adam B — Google review
First time at a bar that required a reservations. This place is hidden and in a lower level. Great low light atmosphere. All the drink where mixed to perfection and since we sat at the bar we got to see the mix wizard in action. Great service and a great time. Next time we are in Huntsville we will be makind a stop at Catacomb 435..
JMPJOSE — Google review
What an absolutely amazing experience unlike anything I've ever had! I've been to speakeasy vibe spots before, but this takes the cheesy completely out of it and steps into top tier experience. Yes, you need a reservation and a password. Yes, you're limited to 2 hours. Yes, you have to have directions and it's in a basement. And yes, it's totally worth it. The space is absolutely beautiful but also dark. You may need a flashlight to fill out your drink card, but the darkness is needed to complete the vibe. The glass wear is BEAUTIFUL. Every glass was not only perfect for the drink it held but also had a wonderful feeling in the hand. Each had a good weight and beautiful designs deep in the glass. I could nerd out about it and the bar. All incredibly selected details. And details matter. We each got 3 drinks (and they have mocktails, too, so everyone can experience the wildly creative and special mixtures!) with different profiles and they were all delicious and spot on. They do say that they'll make you a new one if you don't like it, but even after my first drink I wondered how anyone would return one. Our server was great, giving us details of each drink she brought and checking in once we'd had a few sips to make sure they were pleasurable. The drinks are reasonably priced considering the atmosphere, quality of ingredients, and care put into each one. Prices range from $15-20 per drink. This will definitely be on my list of favorite experiences, and I'm excited about going back the next time I'm in town!
Mandy J — Google review
This speakeasy was awesome. Many comments about the smoke inside are valid, but we just took it as another part of the experience. We spent a little over an hour on 2 separate orders of drinks. The actual cocktail experience was phenomenal. The woman that made our drinks was 10/10. This place does not serve any food, so just be aware of that. We did have one “odd” experience of being asked not to film or photograph inside. The man that told us not to did it in a witty way, but we were taken back by seeing others photograph in the moment. There are also pictures online of the facility. I would just recommend if the facility wants no pictures/videos to put that on the email instructions. I think it’s actually a negative to not allow photos/videos because of the coolness of the experience. More people will want to go.
Kevin B — Google review
I love love love this place. My server Matt last night was one of the best bartenders I have ever encountered. I highly recommend going on a date or with a friend. The drinks are so good, two and you are good lol
Deshawnna C — Google review
Fabulous!! The atmosphere, low lighting, and decor are everything and more! The drinks were delicious and beautiful! Our bartender was so witty and talented! He's the Willy Wonka of mixology!!
Wynter G — Google review
First time a bartender elevates the experience by being so knowledgeable about every single ingredient that's in the cocktail, it was probably the best cocktail I have ever had. The atmosphere was great too, definitely recommended!
Sergio B — Google review
Fantastic experience - small and intimate inside with an air of secrecy. We sat at the bar and watched the drinks being made and chatted with the bartenders, who were both awesome! Every drink was unique and yummy and we learned some things too. We will definitely be back! Note - those with asthma should be aware that although the bar is nonsmoking, they do light things on fire and add smoke to drinks so it does have a smokey atmosphere.

Stovehouse, located in the revitalized Martin Stove factory, is a vibrant hub featuring an array of dining options and businesses surrounding a leisure lawn food garden. The focal point is a live music stage complemented by various seating choices such as rocking chairs, swings, sunken seating, picnic tables, and pub tables. This venue stands out as one of Huntsville's premier music spots with diverse live shows spanning folk, country, R&B, and alternative rock.
My husband and I didn’t get to spend as much time as we would have liked to here but to did find some delicious food. We loved the atmosphere and plan to come back. I would really like to come here at night when it is all lit up. The play yard looks really cool with the giant games. We ate at Co-op and Oscar Moon’s. I will share separate reviews for them
Tina S — Google review
Such a cool place! So many interesting food options and a great atmosphere with indoor or outdoor seating areas. There's a huge play yard area with giant games and live music some evenings. The whole area has a cool vibe with buildings that are both modern and rustic at the same time.....Parking was a little crowded when we were here for lunch. We ate at Bark and Barrel and Oh Crepe! I will post separate reviews for each of them.

This is a great spot to grab a bite and hang out with friends and family, listen to live music on the weekends, enjoy the weather out doors, and support local businesses. Highly recommend!

Great open air food hall with a lot of very good options to satisfy anyone in a large group. Indoor seating is a bit limited but there is a lot of outdoor seating available, weather permitting.

Visited to see a local band & show support they already have. This place was REALLY nice! I could tell there was security, but it was always classy/hidden. I’m far too scroungy & wild to make it a habit to visit, but nobody was bad to me. I had a fancy beer & got one for the guitarist, stuck around to hear the band for a lil while, and I hooted, hollered, and took off all spastic like a bat. I wish all layers of American Society could behave this well, stay this classy, and be so considerate! Seriously.. I think this is where doctors, lawyers, judges, and police go to blow off steam, and I’m happy for everybody! ☺️ Thank you to this venue for being GREAT; I hope I wasn’t too obnoxious for too long. 🙏🫡

Fun area with a lot of diverse options for food. The guy that was singing the Sunday evening we were there was phenomenal. Great seating area to watch the performers. Very nice little shoos to peruse.

Went for the first time the other day. It was absolutely awesome. Highly suggest that the Korean fried Chicken from "Seoul food" and the dumplings from the Chinese restaurant, The tap room had amazing drinks in service as well. I absolutely loved it. My wife did. It's a great place to bring kids to run around while you sit back and chill and have a drink. Dan can watch football games and more. They also have little fire pits and security walking around. They don't allow vaping inside which I don't understand with open fire pits but I get it in a way as well. There's so many stores and so many places to hang out and sit down and chill. It's really cool and there are plenty of places around or down the road so it's not out by itself either. Plenty of parking. Also definitely check out the espresso martini from peak. I believe it was called and also the little sweets store that sells super awesome desserts. All was so good!

Nestled on the second floor of the historic Martin Theatre, The Martin Bar + Bistro is a vibrant destination in Huntsville that perfectly captures the essence of American comfort food. With its industrial-chic ambiance and cozy atmosphere, this lively spot invites you to unwind with friends or enjoy a romantic evening out.
Fantastic food and service. We came for lunch on Saturday and had an amazing time. Food was fresh and on time. Our server was friendly and answered all our questions. Bar area is gorgeous and the view from the second floor is the cherry on top!! It’s been on my list to visit here for a bit, so happy we finally made it! We got mimosas, chips and salsa, the BBQ pulled pork sandwich, and the chicken Caesar salad!

We had an early dinner here today. It's an interesting place. The food was very good. I had the cheeseburger and my wife had the fried shrimp. Everything was cooked perfectly. Alaina, our server was great. I'm sure we'll be back.

This was our first time to eat at The Martin Bar + Bistro. We'll definitely be back. The food was delicious and the service was great. My husband and I both ordered the Classic Cheeseburger, it was really good. He ordered onion rings for his side. I ordered fries, my fries had a seasoning on them they were great. His onion rings were delicious. We highly recommend them. They don't skip on the onion rings there were plenty to share, I recommend doing as we did, if you are with someone order fries and onion rings and share them. We also ordered an appetizer, the Pork Potato Skins. They were also delicious.
Jan N — Google review
I would recommend this place. The food could use a tad more seasoning, but it was good. The wings could have been cooked a tad longer. The wings (which were ordered as an appetizer before or meal) came out basically at the same time as or food did which was not ideal as I'm sure you can imagine. I ordered the fried chicken, which was good, the sides were lacking in flavor. My husband ordered the fish which was excellent as were his sides. The drinks (Moscow mules) were prepared in a timely fashion even though they were busy. The waitress was amazing!!! She was fast, friendly, and knowledgeable!!! We will definitely be back.

Neat place on the second floor just of the square. I have stopped in a couple times on previous visits to Huntsville. Food Service and Atmosphere makes this a destination in Huntsville.

Let me say that the Server was was one point. She came and greeted everyone with a smile and answered all our questions. The fish tacos were really good. The fish was lightly fried and the fresh jalapenos were a nice touch of heat. The calamari fried just right. The drinks were refreshing. The atmosphere was great with the large open Bay doors. I will be going back again.
Mark A — Google review
Food quality was exceptional and unexpectedly good. Drinks, maybe not so much compared to their competition nearby. It's kind of like a pretentious sports bar- except they don't really put a variety of sports on the screens and only put on one type. The crowd is of a certain clientele.

Ok...so my wife and I visited here and ordered a few different dishes which were all absolutely delicious! I had the Grouper fillet with asparagus and grits and my wife had fried chicken with mash. They give you some really good portions here and the food is very tasty. We had a server who was nice and despite it being a bit busy she stayed on point with the tables and made sure that we never wanted for anything while there. We definitely enjoyed eating here and will definitely return. Thank you for a great experience!
