Everything about this experience was 10/10. Service at the bar was outstanding. The wine selection was also very good especially if you love Orin Swift wines. The Duck Wraps had great flavor and were not spicy at all for the jalapeño. The biscuits were fluffy with a nice crunch. The butter paired very well. Now for the show stopper. That deer camp meatloaf. This was recommended. It did not disappoint. Was packed with flavor and the Brussels were in a class of their own (I asked for mine burnt as my personal preference) I hard ever have a kitchen actually make my Brussels how I request so this for me was outstanding. Not pictured was an espresso martini that was also made well.

Cool place. Dinner choices are limited. I got the redfish, which was tasty, but still had scales on the skin and lots of bones. Otherwise, it was good The duck wrapped with bacon was...well, the bacon overpowered the duck. All in all, great atmosphere, food was tasty, but needed some refinement, our server lacked a personality. Attentive to our needs, but not much more. The place has a great feel. I will give it another chance.

Heather “Mama” is the most amazing server I’ve ever had! I have always been someone proud of my cooking. And I have felt for a long time that I could cook better food than anywhere else in town…. Until today. The deviled eggs were amazing, the duck wraps were drop dead delicious, and the deer camp meatloaf will ruin your mama’s, grandma’s, and any other meatloaf you’ve ever had! The banana pudding will make you melt and the old fashioned will have you canceling plans just to sit and savor it! By far… the best restaurant in town.

Good southern themed cuisine with friendly service. The menu is a little limited for dinner especially in my opinion, but the food is solid and good. I've eaten here twice now, and it always seems busy and popular with locals too. Plenty of parking out front. Had the BLT salad last time and it was delicious, didn't need to add protein as it was filling. Tonight I had the burger, Essentially a smashburger, it was good as well.

I was traveling through Monroe on business last night and happened upon this restaurant. How lucky! What a fantastic meal I had of the shrimp and grits, honeysuckle lemonade, and skillet cookie. And Brandi behind the bar was so welcoming and helpful in making my dinner choices since everything sounded so good and I couldn’t decide. Wonderful experience, thank you!

Food was delicious! Deviled eggs are hands down my favorite-the best in town. Filet was cooked perfectly-medium rare and brussel sprouts were so yummy! Heather are server was a 10/10! We’ll be back!

When you first go in you notice the atmosphere and nostalgia of the place. Lots of history. Our server, Heather, was on top of everything and very helpful in suggesting items to try on their menu. It made our wedding anniversary dinner extra special. Heather and the staff all took time to sign a card and congratulate us on our 27th wedding anniversary. AND they gave us a complimentary slice of cheesecake (not seen in the picture because it stayed on the plate for all of about 3 minutes before being devoured! Yum!!) The the chef also came out and congratulated us in inquired how everything was. If anything, COTTON has got service down pat! Will be coming back.

Definitely a nice place for a date or special occasion and not so much for solo dining. I looked up their menu online before coming and was really looking forward to a dish that apparently they no longer serve. Instead I decided to go with 3 appetizers to get a good sampling. I enjoy sweet potatoes and especially sweet potato pancakes so when I saw sweet potato bread I had to have it! Unfortunately this was the worst thing I ordered, there is no sweet potato in it apparently "milk" from it only and the salt on top was too much, sugar would have probably been nice, oh well. Brussel Sprouts were good and the mint was a very nice touch. Lastly the gnocchi was solid. I would probably return for a special occasion but not solo. Enjoy.

Visiting from out of town and already been to Parish twice in a week. Love the freshness of ingredients and how often the menu changes. The kale + collard caesar salad is one I will dream of and look forward to coming back for whenever I'm in northern LA. The miso deviled eggs were delicious although a bit salty. The Alaskan halibut with whipped celery root was DIVINE. The spice crusted seared tuna dish was an interesting dish - great fish quality. Unfortunately, the tiramisu donut concoction that was recommended by chef was far from my favorite and a disappointing end note to an otherwise amazing meal. The donut is extremely bready - not fresh fried - and the espresso + coffee ice cream was lacking flavor. Calling this dish "tiramisu" is misleading as it doesn't really taste tiramisu forward. I love ingenuity in food, but at the end of the day, it's gotta taste good and be craveable, which it's not. And i shared the dish with my neighbor at the bar who also didnt love it. Sometimes these things are a miss, and that's okay too! Wondering if I can fit in one more night before I leave just to get dessert redemption 🤔😅

We stopped here for our anniversary dinner on our way to Florida. It was amazing! Delicious food, great service, and a great atmosphere! Will definitely be making a trip again! If you are driving through or staying in the area, you should definitely check it out!

Food was amazing! I had the night special soft shell crab I believe it was called and my husband had the steak with truffle fries. Everything tasted amazing

Had a great dining experience at The Parrish. To start the service was excellent, Dillion was outstanding, very knowledgeable about the drinks and menu and made some great suggestions. Bartenders made excellent DIRTY Martinis. We started off with Hearth Baked Sweet Potato Bread & Duck Wraps in a syrup glaze both were delicious. Wine selection was plentiful and wide variety. Main course for us ranged from Pan Roasted Tasmania Salmon with sweet pea risotto. Which my Dad said was excellent. my Mother had the Louisiana Shrimp & Smoked Tasso Scampi. The pasta was homemade and delightful. We shared the Berkshire Pork Shank and gravy. It was more than enough for two people. We finished the night off with Bread Pudding with a bread pudding connoisseur at the table, said it was the best she ever had. The only negative thing I can say is it was a little noise but might have just been our location and how busy they were. Which is great to see on a Tuesday night. Thank you for a great dining experience we will be back when back in Monroe.

Food was delicious, per usual. The duck wraps are phenomenal and the whipped burrata was unreal. Never had any complaints with anything on their menu so this being less than a 5 star review is a bit hard to write. Would give 5 stars but I deducted because I am a little disappointed we couldn't use the gift cards we had. Our best friends gifted them to us two Christmases ago but there's somehow no record they were purchased and they had no verifiable balance, so we had to pay out of pocket - which wasn't expected for my husband's birthday dinner. The manager did state they had issues with their gift cards "a couple years back" but I don't feel that much investigating was done past the initial "there's no record of this" so it was a bit disappointing. Rule of thumb: don't let gift cards go past a year. Couple months to be safe. Otherwise great food.

Food and atmosphere were amazing! Though I took some leftovers to-go and found a small hair in the butter, nasty. Other than that, would recommend. Response: The butter that I took home was packaged in a separate container and it was new so we had not interacted with that before opening it to eat it the next day.

Neat place on the river in Monroe, LA. Stopped in while on a Thompson Towing & Recovery rescue trip between Mississippi and Texas. We were not disappointed. Comfortable, relaxed atmosphere. Good beer selection. Lots of options on the menu. Usual fare and lots of seafood selections. Blacken tuna is good. Gumbo is good. Seafood nachos were really good. Service was good but not crazy fast. Great setting. Will stop in again.

The fried Catfish platter has 6-8 pieces with 2 sides. I had the yams and homemade chips as my sides. Good stuff! My brother and sis in law had the 2 burgers deal with a side each... Fries and asparagus, it looked amazing and they really liked it. The river view was cool especially at golden hour. The whole atmosphere was great. Our waitress was so kind, props to her because she held my platter as I was taking tourist photos. 😊

On road trip & saw reviews for Trapps so stopped. Was a bit apprehensive about outside. Walking in wasn't much better. Just didn't seem clean. We sat outside & the view was a muddy river and weeds. Abby was our server & she was good. Hubby got the shrimp, crab & corn bisque. Mostly tasted like corn chowder. I had the gumno & it was ok. The boudin was ok. I think southern cajun food beats this food. Definitely had better.

Casual riverfront restaurant with outdoor and indoor dining. Local vibe but welcoming. Huge portions. Seafood nachos were excellent and fried catfish was perfectly cooked, crispy and delicious! Good beer selection. Our service from Casen was top shelf!

This atmosphere was fantastic. We sat outside to view the river while eating. We had a great waitress. The food was bountiful and wonderful. We will definitely stopped here again when we travel through Louisiana. It was well worth it!

Noise level was acceptable. The shrimp, fish, and fries were perfect. The gumbo was ok at best. It was thick and lacked the authentic gumbo taste in my opinion. My mom is from Morgan City. The staff was very helpful and helped me bring our order to my vehicle. I'll return for sure.

The fried pickles and the gumbo were great. Little loud on the patio when the train goes by, but not bad otherwise.

It was my husband and I first time in a few nights ago we came in excited to try some good bbq as we have heard nothing but good things. We ordered Togo but went inside to check it out and pick up. The first thing we noticed was the lack of customer service the girl at the first desk seemed to hate being there and she didn’t once speak or smile at us and when we did ask or talk to her she pointed to a different counter saying we pick up there like we were bothering her. We get to the next counter to be told they don’t have what we ordered for the Cuban which was the only reason we even came it’s hard to find a good Cuban around! We adjusted our order and went on about our business waiting. Finally we were called to get our food handed our food as she was talking to another employee and that was that. No have a great night or anything. The brisket was really good so it did make up for the lack of customer service and we are hoping it was just a bad day/night and they were off. We will try again because the food was good. The portions are a little small to be a bbq place and ordering on Texas toast you expect a big sandwhich but again it was good so it made up for it. When you go in somewhere you want to feel welcomed! Customer service is what drives your people back not just the good food!

Nice dive! Brisket quesadilla was great! House chips were crispy and smoky. The spicy BBQ sauce has just the right amount of heat. The sweet BBQ sauce was a little too sweet for me. The chipotle sauce that came with the quesadilla was amazing. My wife ordered a spud with brisket. She would have preferred real butter and real cheese instead of what she was given. Great atmosphere. Great service. The outside patio was perfect for dining this time of year. Parking is limited but there is public parking across the street. They take precautions for those who have Celiac or are sensitive to Gluten. Super nice folks!

My first time and I was pleasantly surprised. Everyone was friendly, the service was great. Very clean and busy when we stopped for lunch, 2 minute wait and found the last table inside. The special today was pork belly, so I had to try it and it was definitely ☆☆☆☆☆

The staff were very friendly and my food came out fast. Appetizer with an entree was just under $30 before a tip, but every single bite was delicious. Definitely quality over quantity, which is perfectly fine. Overall a great place to eat.

Cool place with nice outside seating. The ribs were small not much meat on them but they were cooked well. They only have sweet or spicy bbq sauce I was told they didn't have plain original. The brisket was good as well as was the sausage. Nice place good atmosphere but in my opinion the bbq was nothing exquisite.

Stopped here as we were passing through town on our way back to Dallas. So glad we did! Easy to get to from the interstate. BBQ was really really good! Owner was present and made sure we received everything we ordered correctly and more. Extremely polite fella. Everybody was awesome. Did I mention how good the BBQ was? We will make this our regular interim spot for rest and good food. Can't wait to get back!

My first visit ever and everything was absolutely delicious! There’s literally no barbecue place that comes close in taste. Down to the flavor of the meat, sauces, and that potato salad were unlike anything I’ve had at any BBQ spot before! You can tell they carefully trim and prep the meat before cooking it which I can appreciate!

My wife and I went here on a date night and the staff were so friendly! We felt like family. Had a live pianist playing and the vibe was just right. We told them we were sharing a main course and they came out with the dish already portioned out on two plates! Drinks were very good as well they had all kinds of choices.

On a work trip and came here for lunch. We got the Cajun catfish which was delicious and the jalapeño cheese grits weren't spicy at all. We also got the seafood queso (which was a special that day) and it was phenomenal. Our waitress Taylor was extremely nice and helped answer all the questions we had. The atmosphere gives a historic vibe but being on the water you may not think otherwise. Overall a fantastic restaurant with great food and great people and we will be back next time we are in town.

First restaurant my now husband took me to when we were dating 40 years ago. Still love the food and atmosphete. Took our children and grand children this time to celebrate their anniversary. Staff was great, took pictures of our special occassion, and of course the food was awesome! Thanks Warehouse for the great time AND your patience with our grandchildren! Lol!

Fabulous dinner. Great service, great food in a very unique setting. Ribeye with Oscar was very tasty. A little on the upper scale. Went in dressed in jeans and t-shirts and felt under dressed but no biggie. Our waitresses was wonderful.

This place is DELICIOUS! Had a hard time deciding on what to order because everything sounded so good, but my waiter gave great recommendations and they did not disappoint! Definitely try the redfish with jalapeño grits…I don’t even eat grits, but these were exceptional! Drinks are really tasty and service was great. Definitely check this place out if you’re visiting Monroe. Oh, and the hushpuppies are way too good to eat just one.

It was a great experience for my granddaughter's honor roll accomplishments to celebrate her. She chose a restaurant she only 7 years old.I wish I had remembered the gentleman that was our waiter he was so kind and patience with her.He made her feel really special.

I had the wet ribs, cat fish, cole slaw and strawberry cake. We went there because a friend wanted cornbread and it was awesome!!!. The hot water cornbread and everything on my plate was delicious. Their coleslaw was the best! The service was great and the people made us feel like we were with Southern friends!

I been eating here for years. Not only is the food delicious it’s the best soul food restaurant in Monroe. My favorite is the chicken and pork chops fried 🥰🥰🥰

While being in Monroe a few days for work, my wife and I wanted something different. We’ve grown tired of all of the name brand restaurant food options and wanted something more of a home cooked food setting. This place was highly recommended by a few locals I spoke with so I figured we’d give it a try. Definitely the best food we’ve had while eating out in a very long time. The people there were very welcoming and made sure we were well taken care of. If you are visiting the area or just passing through, stop by and grab ya some good ‘ol fashioned home style cooking where the quality and company is well worth the visit. Definitely going to revisit when I’m back this direction. Thanks to all of the people who made our visit a great one!

The baked chicken and fried chicken was excellent but the ribs were too fatty and had a lot of fat on it. But the atmosphere and the Homey feeling they really make you feel at home and it was very comfortable friendly just all around good environment

We were traveling through Monroe on our way to Tucson. We googled best places to eat in Monroe. Big Mommas fine food came up and got such good reviews we decide to give it a try. All I can say is WOW!! We had the fried chicken with 3 sides. Between the two of us we got mashed potatoes with gravy (delicious homemade gravy), black eye peas, Mac n cheese, green beans, red beans and sausage and homemade rolls. The food was delicious!!! The portions are large enough that we have enough for supper. If you’re looking for delicious home cooking this is your place. The staff was very warm and friendly as were the customers.

Breaking news: Call for new days and hours! Went in today- Saturday. Again, right at closing. Saw one brother peeling sweet potatoes and another brother cooking pound cakes...for tommorow! Big Mommas is now serving SUNDAY DINNER! And you know it's going to be good! Yep! South Mun roe style good! And today, my ribs with potato salad and baked beans were delicious. Another awesome meal from Big Mommas! Original review: Big Mamas has been reviewed by over a thousand customers across several sites and the consensus is the food is simply delicious! And it is. So, because that fact has been established, let me add a few other details. First, the servings are more than ample. I got my late lunch to go and went to the Riverbank across from the OP Courthouse to enjoy it and the view. Had enough to put some aside to share with a friend when I returned to Grambling and hav for a late night snack! Second, the staff is awesome! Driving in from out of town, I arrived almost right at closing, but I didn't see one frown. Fixed me up with a smile! Sent me on my way! I cannot complain! And third, the atmosphere is reminiscent of Eddies on Law Street or Dunbars on Ferret Street in New Orleans. Every sector of the community is represented in its clientele and everybody receives the same greeting, smile, and service. Also, you are never rushed through your meal. In fact, as I was leaving several tables still had customers engaged in conversation. Some relaxed. Some spirited. Some humerous. But because of the spacious dining area, no one is ever in anyone else's way. And last but not least, despite the rising cost of everything in our country, the price for lunch at Big Mama's remains right! Coming into Monroe from the west, traveling east, get off at Jackson exit turning right. Drive on Jackson passing Orange, Apple, Peach and Pear Streets (not necessarily in that order). Get to the light on Plum Street and turn left. Keep left a few yards and you are there. Big Mamas Fine Foods at the corner of Plum and Second. A treat you don't want to miss! Perfect! And I have to admit that these two photos are from the website. Once I tasted my potato salad, I forgot to take pictures! But trust me, that potato salad, home baked roll, and golden fried chicken breast were awesome!

Good food, beer and service. The bacon wings are fantastic. Pizza is nice, but not quite as good a crust as Victory. Update:Service was fantastic again. Barrel aged beer was really good!! Update. Barrel aged beer was good. New Italian pizza with sliced meat balls and balsamic glaze and basil was really good.

Absolutely good pizza and service. If you like IPA/small brew beer, their selection is great. The daywrecker beer is good. Pair it with the daywrecker pizza, and I hope you have time for a nap after! I 100% recommend you give it a try. The flavors might not be your thing, but it is t because the pizza isnt fresh. Service has been great for both of my visits.

Love a local brewery and pizza so it was a no brainer for dinner! My husband and I like sours but unfortunately they were out the night we went. We tried two beers that we thought might be similar to a sour but just not quite what we were hoping for. Now onto the pizza … we ordered the Hawaiian Pizza and two others. The pizza is where it’s at! Family friendly. Great little spot!

Wow! Why did I wait so long to go here? I won't wait to go back. Had the Philly Stromboli with ranch sauce on the side (add mushrooms) and thoroughly enjoyed every bite. The server was right on top of every need with courtesy and a great spirit. Can't say enough good things!

Located behind Antique Alley in West Monroe is probably the best place in the area to get pizza and beer. This is a larger space so no worries they won't have a table unless there is a popular musician playing. The beer is crafted in house, and you can take advantage of their "flights" to find the one you like the best. Their wings and strombolis are also tasty. Ask for their desert of the month as it changes. This is one of our favorite places. The prices are reasonable, and the food is good.

I really enjoy this place, nice atmosphere, pretty people and great food. I now have a small gluten problem and there cauliflower crust pizza has made my life so much easier.

We rolled into Monroe late on a Sunday evening and had the most amazing experience at Flying Heart Brewing and Pub. Ate on the patio with our pup. Yummy pizza, amazing wings (buffalo style), Caesar salad (with chicken). Our server Kennedy was adorable and provided excellent customer service. They had a live musician Clay Labeff - he’s got a great voice - go listen to his music. Allison another server is also a cutie! We will be back! Highly recommend you stop in.

I was a visitor in Louisiana state for the first time. Catfish Charlie's was recommended to us. The food was excellent. The portions were great for the price. The food was so fresh. We had the catfish and seafood platters. The staff was great. I would go there again if ever I was in Louisiana.

This is one of my favorite places to eat in Monroe. There are other catfish houses in the area but this is the one to go to don’t bother going anywhere else. The fish is cooked just right and everything always taste just right. They also offer grilled fish of fried isn’t for you.

I was told I had to try this place since I was new to the area. I had the catfish in which was very good no complaints about the food so that is why I gave a 4 reason I didn't give a 5 was 3 main reasons. 1) $20.00 for lunch for 1 person is too expensive. 2) Since the prices are high I'm under the assumption that they could reinvest into turning their air conditioning down so you do not sweat while you eat. But the food was great without a doubt. 3) One last thing the asking for a tip. I stood in line ordered my food made my own drink, went and picked up my food from the counter, so what service did I receive that deserved a tip? This puts customers in a uncomfortable situation and in many ways it's a scam in my opinion. This is a normal thing for so many places I hate to see a good one do it for their own benefit. But again the food was good.

The food was hot and fresh, but it was very underseaoned for me. I ordered the combo appetizer of cheese sticks and onion rings. The texture was awesome on both, but there was no salt in the breading. The mild taste of the cheese paired with no seasoning made that a dish that I would not order again. The onion rings were slightly better. I'm a person who doesn't like a lot of salt, but there was none in these dishes. I also ordered the Catfish D'arbonne. The catfish was fried well but underseaoned as well. The crawfish cream sauce was very tasty. There was too much rice for the amount of sauce. The service was excellent. The workers seemed to enjoy working there. There is a charge for using your card.

The food was delicious! Quick and good quality food. Will definitely come back if I’m ever in Monroe again.

Awesome fresh seafood. Super large fried shrimp. We placed our order and had it cooked fresh on our table in just a few minutes. We barely got our drinks and silverware before they were calling us for our food. The mozzarella sticks are the best in town. Large and soft with a crisp outside. Friendly staff helps as well. I was a little disappointed that the did not decorate for Christmas, but that didn't affect te flavor of the food. This place is consistent. They filter their grease enough that the fried food is always great. Never over fried and hard. Particularly important with oysters. Get the $50 gift card for $40 cash. It's the way to go! Shrimp are large and cooked perfectly. I forgot to order snappy, but the cocktail sauce is good. Will be back...

Catfish Charlie’s catering is fantastic! They have done half a dozen dinners for me in the last few years, Vicci is the best! I highly recommend all their food but rarely bee steaks with all of the trimmings has been a fan favorite for me and my groups.

We had a blast! Came over here after a wedding and really enjoyed ourselves. The bartender was fun, the dive bar atmosphere hit just right, and the drinks flowed quickly. The food was great while drinking, but I would pick somewhere else if I was only looking to eat.

Been there a few times. Service is awesome. Great live music. The last time there my chicken strips were over cooked. Hard to chew. Fries were great as always. I have gotten the strips before and they were perfect.

The waitress was nice and the food came fast. The burgers where highly recommended to me but where very basic and lacked flavor. The amosphere was great and the prices where also reasonable. 7/10..

I’ve been coming to Enoch’s Irish Pub for years…great food, fun live bands on weekends, and you can’t beat the Guinness gravy. This visit I had the Elvis Burger (peanut butter, banana, and bacon)—sounds crazy, tastes good. My personal favorite is still the Jammy with pepper jelly.

Went in for lunch with a bunch of friends. They didn't even bat an eye at the separate checks of our many people. I wish I knew our server's name, but he was AMAZING. Hilarious and attentive. Burgers were great and many to choose from. I wouldn't get the side salad again BUT would get onion rings. Just do that, don't question it. Such a fun place.

It was our first time here as new residents and we were not disappointed. Bartenders are very attentive (even when they are slammed). Everyone that walks in the door is friendly. Environment is chill. We so happened to come on a night of a comedy event and we were treated “VIP” style. This will definitely be our to go bar!

Amazing Pub and Cafe! Upon the most recent opening of the Cafe I've realized I had yet to leave a review! They have an absolutely amazing staff, atmosphere and food with still relatively low pricing! They are big supporters in local events and I appreciate all they do for the community. It's ran by absolutely amazing people and I have no doubt in my mind, whatever your reasoning for stopping in, that you will enjoy your cup of coffee, amazing lunch or your night out with this crowd!

The staff were very friendly and attentive, and the food was great quality and came out quick. Gotta get there early to beat the crowd though, by 8 am it gets really packed on Saturday. All this food was less than $20 after tax. You can’t beat that in this economy. Overall great place to eat.

GO GET Y'ALL A TASTE OF BELLE'S OLE SOUTH DINER! I love this place! It's loud, crowded, has great food and the friendliest wait staff I've ever been served by. I have eaten here a handful of times in the past couple of months for both breakfast and lunch. I highly recommend this diner for both meal times. On this particular visit we telephoned a drive up window order. We placed two separate orders, each of which contained 3 Beignets and a side order of Apple Wood Smoked Bacon. They were the very best Beignets I've had in years and the light saltiness and smokey flavor of the bacon balances the sweetness to perfection. We'd have saved $2 had we ordered a half dozen with a double side of bacon but Beignets are messy enough at the table. I didn't want to be wearing a shower of powdered sugar all day by trying to share a box in the truck while driving. I've had this twice and it is my absolute favorite breakfast, bar none. The plate in the middle is a fried pork chop dinner with green beans and mashed potatoes plus a roll. They do have milk gravy available per your preference. That is 2 chops y'all. One was a bit smaller so I guess that's why I got 2 but, the extra truly isn't needed. As you can see in the pictures, the portion sizes are quite generous. The third picture is the 'Pawpaw's Breakfast'. It is your choice of breakfast meat including ham, sausage patty, smoked sausage, turkey sausage, or bacon, 2 eggs cooked to order, toast or biscuit, grits or 'MoJo' potatoes(what some may know as O'Brien potatoes). My over medium eggs were cooked to perfection. The ham had good flavor but was a little on the dry side; a little oil on the griddle or skillet would have fixed that but it was still good. I've also had their fried catfish and let me tell you, they do it well. I've never had better and there is no other to compare. It's great y'all. The menu prices floored me. It is so economical to eat here. The breakfast menu ranges from $3.99-$12.49 and one of those is with a ribeye steak cooked to order. The lunch menu ranges from $5.49- $13.99, the higher priced items being Redfish and Chicken Fried Steak. I can't recommend this place enough. You must go and try it out for yourself but don't wait too late for a lunch date because they close at 2 PM. They are only open on Saturday for breakfast from 6-11, no lunch service.

delicious diner breakfast while visiting W Monroe. The biscuits especially were amazing and the portions were generous. The service was really friendly as well. The only downside is the tables are a bit small and cramped but we were able to make do.

Order the beignets! Food was delicious, and service was even better!! Jamie was our server and she was absolutely the best! She was very helpful and welcoming and kind to our kids. Chicken fried steak was great and the burgers are obviously made fresh by hand. We just went through town and stopped based on reviews and I'm glad we went! Turnip greens were bland but everything else was awesome!

The servers were all really sweet. Jamie was amazing. They let me sample a few things I'd never had before buying them. The portions were astronomical in this economy and the flavor was top tier. 100% recommended.

We stopped by on our way back to Texas from our vacations in Florida and this was the best decision we could agree on. We were late to breakfast, but had some of the most delicious chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes ever. The brown gravy was rich and packed with the right amount of flavor. The service was top tier with the sweet waitresses being so helpful and attentive. We hope to make this our daily stop when vacationing to Florida.

This business is, hands down, the best one I’ve been to in a very long time. The service has been amazing each time I’ve went in. I normally order to go on my lunch break but the wait times aren’t long at all compared to even fast food places these days. The staff has been extremely friendly both days I’ve gone in this week, with employees who aren’t even the ones helping me, acknowledging or saying goodbye as I left. The grilled chicken sandwich had a piece of chicken so large it was well beyond the size of the bread! It was cooked perfectly! Not dry at all!! And the hamburger was well worth the price because the patty was huge! I honestly can’t say enough good things about my experiences there thus far!

Molly was an awesome server. We had 18 people, and she handled us all very well. The appetizers were ok. The BBQ shrimp was the best of the platter. The rakhee shrimp was also very good. The sauce was great for dipping bread in. Dinner was a little underwhelming. The salmon was tasty, but the catfish had an earthy taste to it. Desert was good. The bread pudding was awesome. The banana foster was fun to watch being made and tasted good. The pecan pie was just ok. You are able to look out over the water, and the overall atmosphere is great. A nice place for date night or to take the kids. I will try to give it another try when in town again.

Great place! This place is full of culture. Lots of history on the walls. The menu is terrific and the staff is incredible. The view of the river is beyond words. Stopping here for a meal (and experience) is a must if you are in the Monroe area.

This place was amazing. Sat outside so quiet and not too hot. The Gumbo, shrimp Rakhee, and banana foster was the best!!! This should be a regular stop if you are traveling thru and want a great place to eat. Date night with my hubby❤️ and still have miles to go before stopping.

I went in today for lunch and this place is amazing! Super cool atmosphere right on the water, the inside isn’t super loud even with quite a few people in the building, and everything was clean. I sat at the bar since I was there by myself and Quinton was the bartender. He was extremely professional and kind, and super knowledgeable about the menu and what to get. He recommended the crab cakes as an appetizer, and the BBQ Shrimp Poboy looked great. I got both and they were awesome! Thanks to Quinton and Waterfront Grill for an awesome lunch!

Super friendly dog environment and amazing staff! First time in Monroe and these folks made us feel welcomed! Their food is great too! I enjoyed sitting outside on the patio where there keep it nice and cool with fans.

Charles at the WATERFRONT GRILL was our server tonight...we had a party of over 15. He served us with top level service & accuracy. His level of professionalism was top tier. He got every order correct & got every ticket correct. We were impressed at this young man's performance. He is definitely going places in life🤩🤩. His boss, co workers, parents & Frat should be very proud of him.

I used to love their food, but it is really overpriced now! Every time I get take out, they get it wrong. Paid $20 for a 1/2 pound burger and a literal handful of fries. No drink. Got home with my order and they didn't even put my second order of fries in the bag after I waited almost an hour. Staff can be really rude, as well. I ordered medium but received a cooked to death smash burger. It definitely was not half pound or medium. People can't afford to support local at these inflated prices, and, sadly, this level of service at this establishment has become par for the course.

Burgers were very good. They do offer a gluten free bun that seemed to be a Shar. Would be nice for a better bun. The girl taking our order wasn't very friendly. Food was cooked quickly.

Very disappointing service. We have been regular customers for several years and we haven't had to pay using a credit/debit card except once, when we had to add our phone number to the business for them to pull our name up. Well, this evening that changed. The employees have been extremely rude the past several times we've came. I did just tell whomever was given the phone (mind you without being told I was being put on hold), that they're about to lose my business. There's a gentleman there (I think he's the manager) that's there sometimes, and the employees have the upmost respect for their customers when he is present. Just another horrible experience this evening. I've been holding off making a review, but enough is enough. The manager or the owner needs to try being here more often or do something about their employees and their poor attitudes.

10-29-19 lunchtime. To start off I drove past the location. It did not stand out if you don’t know what you’re looking for you will definitely drive past it. The parking lot was very large easy to get in and out and ample parking. The service was good in the location, the employees were nice and sociable. The food was good. It was consistent with a location in Monroe that I have stopped at once before. I gave that location five stars. This location will get 4 because it felt dated, dark and not as clean. I won’t go into detail but it needs a little TLC. The burger grind is better than most other gourmet burger places in the Monroe area such as Five Guys etc. A little on the pricey side but worth the money. I would return to this location.

I took my friends from work. They had never been there. Each item is individually ordered. It’s more expensive this way, but it makes up with the quality. Everyone really liked their burger. My friend bragged about the pretzel bun and his giant onion rings. I had the jalapeño bun. These were Dunlap burgers; the meat done lapped over the bun. The burgers were great, and we will be back!

Well, food is pretty good and reasonably priced. The atmosphere was rustic and showcased Louisiana regional items. However see below for why we won't be returning. Well once we arrived, we were told to wait to be served. I get it, slow Sunday and had time to discuss things with employees. However, six minutes until we were properly informed about how to order. This was my first time here. While we were waiting and trying to enjoy our food, the manager was belittling a young worker about mixing up the unsweetened and sweet tea spouts rudely in front of us and threatened the girl with "I'm going to sick Benny on you. You know old people can't tell the difference between the teas." I'm paraphrasing here, but it was so loud, we could do nothing but overhear. I witnessed the young black girl look like she was on the brink of crying. This wasn't the only instance of the manager yelling and being demanding, which soured our experience in an already dimly environment. We, unfortunately, will support another business that doesn't mistreat their employees like trash in front of customers. The burger grind has great menu options but the hostility towards mistakes employees make really grinded our gears.

Me and my boyfriend went on a date here, the food was very expensive it was around $65 for two burgers one and two side of fries, the fries were very soggy, oily and cold they and the burgers themselves were barely seasoned either, it was very bland and overall disappointing especially for the price of the food. The staff are friendly and helpful, I have no complaints about the service it’s just the quality and price of the food.

This is more on a high end restaurant. We made reservations and early dinner. It was not crowded. We were seated right away. Our waitress was excellent. They kept our table clear of empty plates and bowls. My wife really enjoyed her filet and loaded baked potato. I had the chicken breast over rice. My chicken was a little dry but it had good flavor. Also, I ordered the green beans. They were very salty. I couldn’t eat many of them. Overall it was an okay meal for me, but my wife really enjoyed hers.

The food was good the staff was very friendly and attentive. They definitely need to change the lighting way too dark. My dad had to use his cell phone light so he could see the menu. And have more appetizer choices there's not enough there's only three to my recollection. I would not recommend taking someone that you're meeting for the first time because it cost$$$$ so much and you may never see them again...

I’ll never understand people standing in line for steaks across the river, when you can get ever better service, quality and taste right here!!! Does was amazing. We started with the Tamales and spinach dip, had a T-bone and mac and cheese fornour main and finished with the bread pudding. It was all amazing. We went late and didnt have to wait and everything came out quickly.

My husband and I came here for our 6 year wedding anniversary 9/27/25. Absolutely beautiful and so romantic for a couple. We enjoyed all the food we picked! Top tier, so delicious. Our waitress Nikita was absolutely so adorable and kind. She was the sweetest! And made us feel so welcomed. She truly was such a bright light🤍 Definitely 5 out of 5 stars!

It’s a sad day when you pay good money for a pizza and then what you get is equivalent to a party pizza. this is not the first time this has happened, management doesn’t seem to care. Some slices only have one piece of meat on it, I should have just ordered a cheese pizza it would have been cheaper and you really can’t mess that up

I order from the location on North 18 quite often and the staff is on point with making sure my food is prepared correctly. The staff at the drive through window are always polite and helpful. Please give them a raise. I plan to continue ordering from this location.

We walked in Johnny's for lunch the atmosphere was very nice and peaceful, food was warm and fresh, staff was very friendly they were was not annoyed at all, the young man that picks up dirty dishes from tables was very nice, always had a smile on his face and very quick to help. He is an inspiration .

They deliver super fast, the pizza is super hot and fresh. The delivery driver has always been super friendly. Johnny's by far has the best quality pizza and the cheapest...I mean, why would I need to try anything else? Johnny's will always be number one in my book...thanks guys for the best pizza around. 😁

This is at least the 3rd time I've gotten bread sticks from this location that weren't done ( not risen, then baked ) and tasting like the dough was soured. Then, it's pointless to put any instructions on the order, like well-done, because it won't be followed. Rather just go down the street to the other place at this point.

I ordered a large sweep the kitchen. I paid an extra $2+ for anchovies. I got home and to my surprise no anchovies.

Cauliflower pizza was not bad at all. Also had a different taste at this one. The food was hotter and richer than most Johnny's we order from.

We stopped in here on the way from Dallas heading back to Alabama. This is what you would expect from a meat and three type place. The food was really good and I enjoyed the sides. The only reason that I'm not giving it five stars on the food was that, while the sauce was great on the pork chop, it was a little bit dry.

The “chicken Madeline” was a little rubbery and tasteless, but all the other choices were good. The homemade (?) rolls were delicious - hot and yeasty - and a much better choice than the cornbread. The desserts were fair but nothing special. All in all, it’s a nice place for traditional plate lunches with well-prepared vegetables and very reasonable prices.

After hearing good things, I wish I could say the same. I walked in at 11:50, it was somewhat busy, but not too much. Several empty tables and most were eating. After waiting 5 minutes I was told to sit wherever. I chose a table one back from window. A 4 top came in behind me and sat next table. Two servers walked passed me several times and no acknowledgement. She took the 4 tops order, who came in after me, brought their drinks and walked off. At 12:05 I still hadnt been acknowledged. The next server that came by I asked if I could be waited on. She stopped long enough to ask if I had been waited on...😳 another girl came to the table and asked for my drink order to which I told her sweet tea with lemon. I asked about the chicken salad, and ordered it on a croissant with a fruit side. It took her three times of the same question to write it down and left. 12:10 At 12:14 I got my tea..very weak tea with a sliver of old lemon. At 12:20 I stopped yet another server to ask about my food. She said she'd check. A few minutes latwr she cane back with two checks and told me I hadnt ordered a side. YES, I DID. She told me these orderes werent mine. Where is my food? I guess she didnt turn it in! What? 😡 I told her Id been here since 12:50 and waiting on my food all that time, ignored by everyone and flagging bith servers down every time. She walked away and didnt even apologize. I told her I was leaving I had an appt in 10 minutes. Then she made me pay $2 for that undrinkable tea and never once apologized! My first and last time going to this place. Not a manager in site. Absolutely the worst service Ive gotten in any local eating place here. Ive been to several other local West Monroe eats and got exemplary service and food..and they had to COOK IT. That server couldnt be bothered to turn my cold order in! She didnt even say hello, welcome, my name is... nothing! No idea of either severs name. Just AWFUL.

I've eaten here many times for lunch and the food is always comforting and delicious while being healthy and affordable. The price is set at just $10 including a meat, 2 vegetables, a bread and dessert! They're flexible where since I don't eat bread and dessert they allow me to choose another vegetable with my meal.

I am from out of town and had to arrange for an office lunch (12ppl). I stumbled upon Kayla’s website and was incredibly impressed. Kayla personally help me plan the lunch menu that fit my audience and budget, then provided great customer service (delivery and setup). Not to mention the food was AMAZINGLY flavorful (best boiled down green beans and bread pudding I ever had). I would recommend to anyone!

The food is fantastic and always has a home-cooked goodness that other restaurants fail to achieve. The menu is always evolving, which means your favorite dish might not always be available, but there are always so many options that I've never had difficulty finding something I wanted to eat, and I've always liked what I chose, even if I'd never eaten it before! Honestly, if I could eat here, every day, I would!

I ordered the Alice Springs chicken with roasted cauliflower, and garlic potatoes. Wow! It was perfectly portioned meal. The service was perfect, I never had an empty glass, and food was on table with in 10 minutes. I would suggest this place as a good lunch spot.

Lovely small kind of “ma and pa” shop atmosphere. Comforting, at home feel. I ordered the Lagniappe breakfast. Lots of food for the price. Sausage was slightly overcooked and some hard bits in the grits. Otherwise, fantastic food. Pancake was HUGE. (See picture). One of the bathroom stalls did not lock. The other party at my table got the biscuits and gravy, saying it was the best gravy she’s ever had. Our waitress was very kind and efficient. Would recommend.

My niece took me for breakfast. We both had the full breakfast. Our wait staff was friendly and highly attentive. Refilled out drinks without having to ask. The food was delicious cooked correctly. One criticism don't serve broken yolk eggs it's not eye appealing. I had the lemon pie also this was almost like a cheesecake,great flavor and not too sweet. Overall it was a great experience and I will return.

I ordered grits with cheese to go amongst other items and my grits had a long hair in them. I called for 3 weeks straight waiting for someone to talk to the boss about a refund. The money wasn’t the issue the customer service was. Finally someone addressed the issue and told me that the boss said he didn’t know if I had put it there myself or not. Well sad to say I will not be going back because putting hair in my own food and lying about it is not my character. I pray that they continue to have a successful business and all of the blessings that they can stand.

Lunch at Athena is truly special. My starving soul ordered a hummus app on top of the Athena Special (number 4, I think). Halfway through my (free) pita, this turkey-platter sized plate arrives with an epic salad, hunks of perfectly seasoned beef and rice, and MORE HUMMUS!!!! I mentioned it to my friends and they have convinced me to return for the lamb. Cheers!

This was absolute garbage. I paid over $40 for a meat platter, and what I got was straight-up trash. • The gyro meat was dry, rubbery, greasy, and had a spoiled smell • The lamb kabobs were burnt, chewy, and full of fat • The chicken shawarma looked like scraps and tasted like nothing Everything looked disgusting, tasted worse, and smelled like it had been sitting for hours. For $40, this is a joke. Never again. This place should be ashamed of the food they serve.

Really good food. It's a bit underwhelming for authentic Greek food, but it's still quite good. I had the Gyro plate, and my niece had the Schwarma plate. The chicken was really dry but had a great flavor. The star was the falafel app.

I've been coming here for years at least once a week. I just love the chicken shawarma plate. The service is very good also. The place has a relaxing atmosphere in which to enjoy your meal.

I wish that they would quit slicing the gyros meat into little pieces that are dried out. They used to serve larger piece that were juicy and flavorful. I am not going back until they correct this because it it really uncalled for.

She introduced herself and continued to check on us, making suggestions on food to order and most friendly. It's very obvious that she prides herself in how her business looks and how it's ran. Both she (Mandy- owner) and the waitress (Chelsea) were phenomenal. 10/10 I highly recommend. Food was so good and seasoned to perfection that we didn't have to use the salt n pepper shaker. They have an amazing selection of wines and top shelf alcohol (although I was at work and couldn't try any- but will be back) SUPER CLEAN ESTABLISHMENT. However this hidden gem is only open for lunch through the week and on FRIDAY AND SATURDAY for dinner. Therefore planning ahead of the trip there is ideal. First, the service was wonderful and personable. Our food came out super timely and to perfection. The portion was generous and very well worth it. I got the fish blackened redfish with potatoes and greens beans. The fish was thick and cooked perfectly. My friend got the shrimp po-boy and a loaded baked potato. She was pretty good.

The Staff were very friendly and helpful. Got in quick. Was very clean. I had the Bbq Burger. It was very delicious. Loved the fries. The homemade pickles were to die for. Husband got the Shrimp Polenta. It was so good. The Fried Green Tomatoes were pretty good. Was more batter than tomato. His Jack & Coke was perfect. He said the Bloody Mary needed a little more flavor. We poured the juice off my cup of pickles into the Bloody Mary. Made it better. The Cheesecake was so good. The Chocolate Cake was even better. We had an absolutely amazing experience at Fat pelican. Ore office had our annual Christmas party there and the service was fantastic and the food was amazing. My wife and I got the specials. The BBQ SHRIMP BOURBON SAUCE WAS THE BEST THING!

Excellent food, very courteous staff and great atmosphere. The food was really good especially the spicy green sauce. We ordered taco salad, veggie quesadillas and cheese enchiladas. The veggie quesadillas were great. Portions are not too big just right amount. The staff was very courteous and willing to help.

3.1 for dinner tonight, disappointed in the taste of the ground beef. Seated right away, restaurant was not busy it was well decorated but could use a thorough clean, especially the floors. Service was pretty good. Chips were not very fresh, salsa good flavor as well as the Chorizo cheese dip (has a good kick to it). Enchiladas supreme were ok, seemed a little cold and the beef had an odd flavor, tasted more like a beef pate or potted meat. Rice and beans were decent along with the guacamole and sour creme salad. Will be back, but not anytime soon.

Never in my life has my family been so disrespected by someone over the phone. We called in an order because we were having trouble with the online app, not queuing our order, and the man who answered the phone was incredibly disrespectful to my mother. He was snappy, impatient, and just rude. We’ve eaten here many times, but never I’ve had this issue. Furthermore, we ordered a fiesta quesadilla with no bell pepper Because my father is allergic to bell pepper. What we got was this. No cheese and nothing but onions and bell pepper. It was completely ridiculous. I don’t know if the store was having a bad day, but I wouldn’t recommend going back if they’re gonna treat you like that.

We have specifically asked like 5 times no meat or any kind of meat in any meal we are ordering and they screwed up big time giving us pork while we being vegetarian… no bueno . Though they removed out of the order but it made our whole day of travel the WORST.. I would not recommend at all

The food was so poor no flavor The rice was like mashed potatoes l never see Burritos & Enchiladas look so bad. Meat was only warm & the nachos. the chips old saggy l live in Virginia & we have good Mexican restaurants there but this one looks like the Cook's are from china.🤪🤪🤮🤮

Chips and salsa were good, food came out fast and hot, tasted good, and beers were cold. Asked for a side salad and got the plate of guacamole, sour cream, and tomatoes pictured. Waitress seemed a little disinterested but that’s okay, I came in kinda late. Overall a good food experience.

AVOCADOS is a fun place with lots of Mexican COLOR. -Some of the FOOD is good & authentic, some (refried beans) seems "canned". Ok but not amazing. -Prices seem a LITTLE HIGH for the quality. -Server was attentive, with a little language gap. ⭐ I enjoyed my Chile Relleno. The poblano pepper had just a little spark of spice & was delightful.

This is always our first stop when we come to Monroe Louisiana and last stop before we leave going back home. They have the Sweetest Waitresses, Loretta & Ivory! The Salad Bar is Wonderful and we enjoy the Lunch Special Shrimp with a Baked Potato! We also enjoy the Country Fried Steak and also the Oyster Poboys! I don’t know of anything that I haven’t enjoyed at Catfish King in Monroe!!

Good southern style seafood. It's a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. Definitely worth it.

The catfish was fresh and delicious, and the hostess and waitress were very pleasant and prompt. Salad bar plates were a little on the small side, but you can make multiple trips. The Potato salad and macaroni salad were quite good.

I would NEVER EAT here again ... would not recommend this place we stopped here to eat with family and when we was leaving as might I add we was parked right in front of the place. Well we was robbed of all my husband's tools about 800 dollars worth my brothers 200 work boots. So therfore don't eat here not a safe environment!!! And when I spoke to a manager he acted like he really didn't care. Told me only one camera on front door but no where else. Never again! So if you want your car robbed this is the perfect place!!!!

Your Restaurant needs to put signs up inside,outside and online for door dash customers. I just ordered a pick up order and canceled the order due to a policy that customers are not aware of. All Door Dash pick ups must be obtained inside. I was in the drive thru and I canceled my order because of the policy. This should be privy to all customers in store and online.

Neville was an amazing server! So kind and friendly. She even let us taste test a new drink we wanted to try. She went out of her way to make us feel welcomed. Everything was incredible. I got the NOLA bowl with Gouda grits and a scrambled egg with an iced strawberry matcha latte. Divine!!

The wife found this spot on line after arriving in Monroe, Louisiana this morning. Very appealing and inviting, food looked great. As you can see in the photos, great presentation. The Gouda Grits was my absolute favorite. The wife enjoyed her Omelette. Everything else was just ok! The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Oh, and my wife also had a Citrus Ginger drink and enjoyed it as well.

Came here with family for the first time. It was incredibly busy on a Sunday afternoon but they moved through tables quickly and staff was very pleasant and professional. Great food and really fantastic drinks too. Will be back!!

My wife and I really enjoyed our first trip to the Delta Biscuit Company. My wife got a biscuit, bacon, and egg along with hash browns and grits. I got a grilled pork chop with mashed potatoes and gravy and green beans. The biggest surprise was when they added the ribbon cane butter. The food was very delicious. We have tried to go again but we would have to wait 45 minutes to an hour. I just can’t do that. Overall, it’s a very nice place and the food is great! Another plus for Monroe restaurants!

If I lived in Monroe, I would eat breakfast here at least once/week! We stopped on the way through town on a road trip, even though it was a bit out of our way, and we are so glad we did! I had the delta slam, I think it was called, and it was delicious! Fresh buttery biscuit, delicious Gouda grits, sausage, and eggs. (See pic) So good!! 2 of us had a yogurt parfait bowl, and enjoyed that. All 3 of us had the ginger turmeric juice. 10/10. Highly recommend!

Neville was the absolute BEST. She is so kind, helpful, and sweet! Hands down she gave us the best service we’ve had here so far. The food was top notch! I had the best fried green tomato BLT and will 10000% be getting it again! 10/10 recommend!

The best in Monroe! I’ve tried many breakfast spots in Monroe, but Delta Biscuit Company is by far the best I’ve had so far. Delta reminds me of home. I’m originally from Texas and moved here about four years ago. Where I come from, there’s a higher standard of living—and this experience met those standards. From the welcoming atmosphere, to the excellent service (my server was Chris), and the quality of the food, everything was outstanding. The prices were also very reasonable. This will definitely be my new go-to spot for breakfast, and maybe even lunch!

Let me start by saying how great our server was with his customer service skills! Rashard(I think I spelled his named correctly) was super nice and very accommodating. I ordered a shirley temple, (which was the best I've had in a very long time) and chicken parmigiana. My chicken parm dish was not great. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the sauce was very good..but that chicken was horrible. It was so tough it took forever to cut through and chew. Both my self and my date sent our dishes back, as we could barely eat it. Someone else at my table ordered shrimp Alfredo, which was lacking in flavor. I end up ordering a pizza, which was OK. The sauce again, was really good and the pizza was cooked well! Overall I can't say this would be a place I would frequent often. I would definitely give it another try though. I think if the cooking was executed well, the whole experience would have been great! Let me not forget....the breadsticks. They were a nice touch! We ordered a bowl of marinara sauce for dipping. 👌🏽😊😋

Came here for the first time, and I was not impressed. Service was not good. (Only 2 in the restaurant at this time). Table was dirty as well as the bread plates. At first glance, it looked really good. I cut into the Stromboli, and it was kind of cold, and cheese wasn't melted.(attached pics). My guest had the manicotti and thought it was ok. The cannoli was ok. Kind of hard, but the flavor was not bad. Overall disappointed.

I enjoy supporting local merchants and restaurants and I encourage others to do so. This time I could not. We ate here recently, and this was our experience. Pros: Ample parking Hot bread sticks that were tasty The pink sauce is a good appetizer. The Stromboli was good. What didn't work: Alfredo sauce is three ingredients, cream, butter and parmesan cheese. This sauce was not that. My guest said, "The chicken tastes like chicken out of a can. The sauce is not good at all." My young niece declined to eat it as well. The Chicken Piccata was not good. My guest said it, "had no taste." She did not eat it. The Milano's Favorite Chicken is made in their signature pink sauce while tasty on the bread sticks, it did not work in this presentation. If you do not have all of the ingredients for a mixed drink, decline to make the drink. Sending it out incorrectly made and hoping no one will notice is a sure failure. It took us an hour to get our food. Please replace your menus they are worn and the edges are pealing. This is not a great look. While I try to support local as much as I can, if I have to profusely apologize to my guests for bringing them, to a place. I probably won't be back for a good long time.

I ordered the lobster ravioli and it had half a plate of cut up squares of imitation ran meat in it instead of lobster meat and only 3 raviolis. My husband ordered the ribeye medium rare and when it came out we both looked at each other like what is this? It was super thin and looked like it had been boiled and had no flavor. My sister ordered the grilled chicken and it was very thin and flat with a weird compressed like consistency. The stuffed mushroom came out in a dish that was big enough to hold 20 small mushrooms but there were 3 in it with tons of sauce. Very generous with their sauces but not so much on food. Will not go back. I am too nice and did not complain at the restaurant or send my food back. On a positive note, the bread service was good.

The staff was very friendly, and eager to help. The bread service was very good, with large rolls, and plenty of them. HOWEVER…when our food finally arrived, we were actually shocked. My 16oz ribeye (ordered medium rare) actually looked as if it had been BOILED, and then thrown on a hot grill for lines on it. It was quite thin, and cooked medium to well. It had absolutely ZERO flavor…none at all. My wife ordered the lobster ravioli, which appeared to be 3 cheese raviolis with lots of square chunks of artificial lobster/crab meat, in a big bowl of sauce. My sister-in-law got the grilled chicken, which was pressed flat and overcooked until it was dry. Again, the wait staff was very friendly, but the food left quite a bit to be desired. I guess we should’ve known something when we saw the decaying overhead sign that hasn’t been maintained in years. Definitely will NOT be returning.

I would give this restaurant a 0 if possible. My son and I used to come here in the winter time and it was always an amazing experience, but this experience I just had this past week was absolutely horrific and a nightmare. The restaurant is disgusting. I went to the bathroom and two different stalls were filled with fecal matter. I ordered the shrimp Alfredo and my son ordered the chicken Alfredo. Absolutely disgusting. Cold, bland, and rubbery. These dishes weren’t good like they used to be. Then on top of the bathroom and food, the service was just as horrific. The server kept trying to mention god to my son and I. Incredibly offensive. Do not go here.

I liked chicken with salad. Chicken breast was thin and taste good, so unusual. Fettuccine with Alfredo sauce is very good but shrimps in it was amazing, so crunchy, fresh and right cooked! Ravioli with cheese and tomato sauce was good as well. All dishes were not too salty or too fatty or too seasoning (for us). Very good service! Good waiter!👍🏻

Wonderful you pick and they cook bar option for stir fry. Everything was delicious and had a nice sear to it. Absolutely "go out of their way" staff.

This place was absolutely amazing. The food was absolutely delicious and the service is really good. There's a lot options to choose for stir fry. The fried rice is the best. I highly recommend this place.

Great value for the food you get. The temperature in the restaurant was a little warm. The booths and tables are old. They did not do a good job of drying the table, but at least they wipes it down well. The food is tasty and the amount you can fit in one bowl is A LOT. Great fresh food. Friendly service. Egg rolls are great! Cabbage instead of noodles or rice was pretty good. Great if you are trying to avoid carbs.

This was a night out for couples and we enjoyed every moment. We got to choose what we wanted in our stir fry. Then, the cook got to work on that wok. The food was table ready in about 15 minutes. I chose the bourbon sauce for my husband and teriyaki sauce for myself. Delicious and very plentiful! We will return!!!

Had a horrible experience. Brought my wife and child in to eat and the next thing I know I'm having to prepare and season a whole meal. This would be fine if they explained this to us prior. Didn't know I was going to be in a line of people waiting on me to try and season food I've never cooked. I was then charged 70 dollars for food that none of us are going to eat. Will never be eating at Khan Mongolian grill again. Such a rip off

Was in town for family business a month ago and had to stop here cause the food is amazing. Just was recently in town again and had to stop here again. My favorite place to visit when I'm in town!!!

My bowl was excellent! I chose chicken breast and teriyaki chicken, shrimp, broccoli, carrots, both types of onion, teriyaki seasoning, ginger, sesame oil, garlic powder, soy sauce, and creole seasoning. Delicious! Pretty good sweet tea. The eggrolls were also delicious with the sweet and sour sauce. Highly recommend! 💛

The food was delicious. Hot dogs were good with the chili and those fried green tomatoes were on another level. The fried pickles are good and a whole basket full to munch on.

I've been passing by this restaurant every day all week and decided to stop. I am not disappointed. The food was very good. I got the Underdog and it was HUGE! Do not count this chili cheese dog out! I opted for the bacon, which was a great choice. They give you an option for an extra $5 to double the dog, there is no need, unless you are just a glutton. I also got the sweet tots and some cheese curds. The cheese curds were supposed to be an appetizer but they arrived after my meal was at the table. I'm not upset about that after seeing how many curds AND the size of that dawg! The flavor of everything was great. The sweet tea was on point. The waitress (server?) was super friendly. I was really shocked that this place wasn't busier. If you are in West Monroe you should definitely give Underdogs a chance!

Greeted with a smile ..food was hot and fresh service was phenomenal ..but for a sports bar having 80% of the t.v.'s paused and muted music turned down too almost zero ..and everything we ordered was WAY TOO SALTY !! keg beer was sour/flat ..definitely not worth the 60$ we spent on 3 things ..service was exceptionally good! easy parking ! And establishment was clean except for the restrooms ..and there were only 3 customers at around 7pm until we left at 9pm we will not return

I always like to frequent locally owned restaurants which is why I chose this place during my short stay in Monroe. Unfortunately the burger was disappointing- no seasoning in the burger patty hence zero flavor. My burger was supposed to come with bacon and grilled onions, and had neither. The batter for the onion rings and friend green tomatoes was a little salty but the remoulade sauce was tasty. Mediocre at best.

Lots of options but tons of fried foods. Burgers were ok, fries good, overall it's just decent. Rated a little lower mainly because nothing stood out as excellent and lots of fried foods is definitely not good to eat. Probably good for people who want a sports bar more than a good sit down meal.

I really enjoyed my time here. Great service with fresh food, though we were the only table in a Friday evening, worked for me, though. I'm not sure if this is the family business but we learned that our server daughter worked there too which I love. There are a lot of TVs and seating so I recommend coming here to watch a game there. I tried the queso and enjoyed it, it was served with house potato chips instead of tortilla chips, but that also worked for me since they had a nice crunch. I tried the well cocktail for happy hour ($5) and got a cosmo and it was okay, but the domestic beers ($3) are worthy of getting a refill. The best thing I had here was the David and Goliath Po-boy and it so delicious. Come try it if you live too far from New Orleans! The only thing I would probably change was the size of the po-boy since it was maybe 6 ins or so. I thought it wasn't going to be enough, but after a couple of appetizers I was full. Highly recommend!

The staff is very attentive, the atmosphere is family friendly, lots of televisions, one had cartoons, and the food is great, the portions are large. The prices are affordable. The burger comes with the salad on the side. It had seasoned crawfish tails and cheese on top of the patty. You will need a carry out box.

These are the rudest, not wanting to work people that I have ever seen. The food is decent if you catch it not sitting out too long and gotten dry. I guess this is why they are still in business, because it sure isn't the service. 90% of the interaction with them makes you feel like you are bothering them by trying to give them money. They are short, no smiles, and often times out right rude. I quit going here. I'll give my money to Danken Trail.

We had a group meeting and about half way through eating they turned the air off. And the building started getting hot. The service was not all that great this time. When we went in two of the three employees were on the cell phones and did not even greet us when we came in side. The pricing was good me and my wife get the three meat meal all the time. Our family was complaining about the building getting hot. I guess we were there to long. The portions of meat were small this time compared to all the other times

Thursday night I ordered the sampler plate and they didn't put sausage on the plate and the meat did not look nor taste good and poor customer service,I used to be a fan of Podnuh's but no more.

I ate at the West Monroe location. The bar b que sauce was cold, the beans weren't very warm, and they were soupy. The brisket and the sausage was good. I won't be back.

Enjoyed this experience at Podnuh's. Got the family spread for 4-6 which includes 1.5 lbs of meat, two large sides, bread, BBQ sauce and pickles/peppers/onions. Paid about $28 after tax. The food was enough for 4 or more meals which isn't too bad for the price. Flavor of everything was good.

The worst brisket I've ever had. My boyfriend said it's dry as the dessert. They didn't have any juice from it to give me. The potato salad will only be good if you're a lover of mustard, because that's all it tastes like. The baked beans are obviously Bush's. Horrible food and service. $33 for 2 people and we left most of it on our plates because it's not even worth taking home. We left still hungry. Not that it was much food for the price anyway. The staff are not friendly at all. The prices they show online are not correct. It's more expensive. I see now why their peak hour was empty inside.

Ordered thru doordash. Order was incorrect. Called them and the girl on phone's unprofessional response was "whatchoo want me to do bout it!!!" Poor customer service. And they want $15 minimum wage, don't think so!

My grandson had a hamburger and the whole bottom bun was soggy. To soggy to even eat. I had the club sandwich and this was not a club sandwich. It was not stacked like a club sandwich I’m used to. Just a regular sandwich. It was very small for the price. The price online was not the price I was charged at the restaurant. They charged me more at the restaurant. Loaded the fries on the plate to compensate for the lack of sandwich. We were very dissatisfied and disappointed in the food. Was not worth the money. Don’t waste your time or money.

This restaurant 5 ⭐, they deserved, great food super fresh homemade style and excellent service!! I'm always traveling and go every time to new places, I can tell you you must go to this restaurant. This maybe my new favorite Latin restaurant! We had the steak fajitas and skirt steak. Both were flavorful and the service was fast. We both thought it was a very good value for the money. We will be eating here again soon.

The workers are kind and the food is good. I’ve gotten the Honduran dinner more times than I can count, but they have a great variety of food and drinks. Even the cheeseburger was yummy. The coffee tastes like a warm hug :) The restaurant and restroom are clean and nice.

Take the side stairs up & above Cotton restaurant, hang a right, then a left, and another right, where you'll find one of the best views of the Ouachita river, sip on custom made drinks from excellent bartenders, and enjoy the results of delicious pizza recipes crafted with lots of TLC and attention to detail. The balcony is a great place to watch the sunset over the water or a mardi gras parade cross the bridge. One of my favorite spots in Monroe.

I enjoyed dining here on a Monday; the oysters were amazing and the atmosphere was perfect. However, the service was a bit spotty, as they could use one more staff member.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would! Cody and Michael were incredible — friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. Every drink was perfectly mixed and came out quickly, even with a packed bar. They made everyone feel welcome, remembered our names, and somehow kept the vibe fun and relaxed all at once. You can tell they genuinely love making people’s night better. Definitely the kind of bartenders who turns a regular evening out into a great experience. Highly recommend! 🍸🍹

I ordered the "Las Vegas," and it did not taste good at all. The sauce tasted burnt and the sushi fell apart on the plate. The overall taste was not fresh nor favorable. I am familiar enough with sushi to know that it was just not prepared and made well. I will not return nor do I recommend others to this location. The service, however was great!

10-2-19 Wednesday night. So we went to this place for dinner. It took forever for someone to come ask us what we would like to drink or even speak to us. We waited a long time for the food to come out. The service was not good at all. I had to keep asking for refills etc the waitress was “mia” The food was average “not bad”. The location was extremely dated and did not feel clean. The location also felt like there was a lot of moisture in the air, it felt damp. When I went to wash my hands there were no paper towels to dry my hands, the restroom also did not look clean.

Every time I walk into this dinner there is a problem either with the Frontend service not wanting to give change back or making you wait while they serve the person that came in after you. The smart remarks, when you request your change back after spending 18.37. A request for sauce that you don’t get. The third time and I will not be returning to this dinner. My money is green but my skin is black American😕

Yesterday I dined here for dinner. I am a regular here and most waiters know my order. Yesterday, I decided to try spring rolls for the first time. I received them and based upon the appearance I knew it wasn’t for me. I then bit into it and decided no. I asked the waitress if I could send it back and she said they wouldn’t allow it. I then spoke with the owner and she approached me saying “what do you want us to do about it”. I explained the situation to her and her response was “what do you want us to do about it? You have to pay for it.”. I was very disappointed as I am a regular here and had dined the previous day as well. The owners egregious customer service was distasteful and very unprofessional. I have recommended others to the place and spent lots of money here. I highly discourage you from visiting this restaurant. I’ve overlooked a lot because I enjoyed the food, but the bathroom is disgusting. The booths are old and sticky. Not to mention there are always flies inside. Do better Cafe Rawz. I am disappointed and you’ve lose a regular customer. I will not be returning.

Go here if you're craving for sushi! Love love love! Variety of choices. Noodles are good also. And try some bubble tea which comes with different flavor you can choose from. Atmosphere is great. Staff we're very helpful. Thank you! 👍😉

Was my first visit here and I ordered the Crazy Maki and crab ragoons. They did NOT disappoint. Loved the sushi roll, I ordered a side of eel sauce to dip it in. It’s the perfect combo of spicy, crunchy, and sweet dip.

This location is no where near as good as the Monroe location. When my squid salad came out I knew not to be excited. The portion alone for the price was ridiculous and it didn’t look or taste fresh.

Update: 3/13/25 Gave it one last shot and officially giving up. Asked them repeatedly not to toast my flat bread but came back to work with a giant cracker for a sandwich.... ANNOYED and giving up.... Original: This location seems to be understaffed. I went by one day and was turned down at the drive thru and told I had to go inside to order. That was impossible for me so I went elsewhere. Tried it again today and requested a chopped salad. They stated they don't chop anything even though every other location does? Items requested were left off my salad so it wasn't made correctly and there was hair mixed in it. The lady working the drive thru was super kind and I tried to be understanding to reciprocate the kindness shown to me. But now I'm several miles from that location, back at work to eat my lunch, and can't because there's a hair in it. Now my jeebies are heebied and I'm still hungry.... 😭 This used to be my favorite location but recently it's been a disappointing waste of money, time, and gas.

I’m so tired of the constant issues at this location. I asked for light sauce, and my sandwich was absolutely drenched—sopping wet, messy, and totally inedible. I couldn’t even eat it. This isn’t the first or second time it’s happened either. To make it worse, I’ve had a separate incident where I found a long piece of hair in my sandwich that ended up in my mouth—still attached. I had to pull it out of my throat. That was one of the most disgusting things I’ve ever experienced from a so-called restaurant. The quality and standards at this place are nonexistent, and it’s clear nothing is improving. Calling the store is pointless—no one answers the phone, and there’s no way to reach anyone. I spent money on food that ended up in the trash. Hopefully, I get a refund. I won’t be ordering from here again. I’ve never left a review for a food place before, but this location has pushed me to do it — this kind of mess happens way too often. I order from here regularly, and it’s unacceptable. If you want a better experience, try the location off Thomas Road—they do a much better job.

Boo! We waited in empty drive through at the speaker forever then we pulled forward to the window and two people walked by but no one would take order? There was NOT a lot of customers there and many employees? I called too and no answer

Every single time I come to this location, there’s always TWO people working. I have to wait 15 minutes in the drive through, JUST to get waited on. Not to mention my order was made wrong. The girls working told me they were sorry, that they were busy. How can a restaurant be “fast food” but be clearly understaffed and is rushing to get orders done, but made incorrectly.

I ate at this Subway 2 days this week. Almost same exact order. Problems with both orders. I have been happily eating this regularly for the past 2 years. Breakfast w/egg & cheese on Lavash with mayo and veggies. Day 1 - Doubled egg & cheese. Cashier added tom.(I never order it) - kitchen left off my double blk olives. Sand edible. Day 2 - Reg egg w/ double cheese. Mayo w/veggies. Sandwich glopped w/ unreasonable amt of mayo. It was squishing out when I picked up sand. It also dripped down my wrist when I tried to eat it. Also I checked veggies before I left parking lot to make sure . Did not check for the double pepper jack that I paid for. NO CHEESE ON EITHER HALF! FYI: none of veggies were pickled. No tom. No reason for them to be watery. Sandwich had NO flavor and was a waste of money. The bites that I tried gave me a stomach ache and gagged me, due to excessive mayo. It went in the trash. Today- Day 2 - 06/27/25 - I was frustrated w/ this cashier who took my order at the drive thru. She said welcome to subway and then went mute. Didn't prompt or cue me that she was ready during the entire order. She desparately needs training. This made the entire order process unpleasant and lengthy. She was not able to answer simple questions about the flatbread. There seemed to be confusion over folded flatbread (lavash) and rolled wrap. The official Subway menu picture shows the egg and cheese lavash folded. An experienced Subway employee tried to buffer. Helped some. I will not be going back. Get this Cashier some HELP. You have to interact w/ customers. It was ridiculous waiting for her to acknowledge that she had entered each item. She did not ever say "ok" or " what else" until I commented on her lack of participation - at the end. Dead silence is wasting my time and yours. Cashier/ window person - disappeared and chose not to hand me my order. I have been a huge Subway fan and supporter. What Happened?

The girl blonde girl at the drive-they was rude. Put 2 pieces of cheese on my sandwich and only put 2 pieces of freaking turkey on my husbands sandwich.. like we aren’t trying to eat just bread…. I paid 20$ for essentially bread. It’s kind of bullcrap..

August was fantastic! He greeted us warmly and suggested a unique twist on a graduation Aperol Spritz. Normally, that drink can lean a bit bitter, but his custom recipe was perfectly balanced and absolutely delicious. His friendly personality and creativity made the experience memorable. Kudos to him!

This was my first time visit The Eli and I will definitely be back. I went for a solo dinner and sat at the bar and the bartender August was so nice and sweet and made my experience at The Eli amazing. Plus he makes an amazing French 75!

August was the perfect bartender … the drinks were good and he brought them out so fast . We had a big party and he was very professional and nice . We love it here .

It was amazing!!! The food was FANTASTIC!!! I had the tomato soup and grilled cheese, and it was perfectly seasoned and tasted amazing! I also got the Red Velvet Mocha Latte (iced) and it was a great blend of sweetness, milk, and espresso! I would definitely recommend coming to Standard!

The food was delicious and the presentation was beautiful even in takeout boxes. Probably one of the best meals that I've had in Monroe.

It came up in my search for specialty coffee and I lucked out, as it is the real deal for coffee aficionados like me. I deviated from my standard black and enjoyed their raspberry swirl with an avocado toast. Recommended.

Nice coffee shop and cafe. Very much feels like a downtown type of place versus just a friendly local out of the way sort of place. Their breakfast food options were very limited (love a good bagel but they mainly had pastries and muffins) but seems they open their kitchen for lunch and offer more food options then. 4 starts in lieu of 5 isn't about the location or price....it's more just that their lattes did not taste very good. Seems they do a lot of things well but a good hot latte is not one of them. They are seemingly frequented by what seems like folks from their downtown and maybe they just accept this as good coffee. I would probably recommend other local options if ambiance is not 90%+ of what you're looking for.

The Salmon bowel was so delicious, I would have it twice in one day it’s that good! I wish they had a bigger tea selection. But, overall our order came out in a timely manner and everything else was great!

White Lightning made with almond milk and a cheddar bacon scone were excellent! Easy parking, lots of seating, serve yourself water station - all great!

Classic independent coffee shop. The warm smell of fresh brewed coffee wafts over you as you walk in the door. Has classic mellow coffee shop music! Iconic artwork on the walls. This is the kind of place where you get there early, grab a cup of brew, and cozy into a book for a few hours. By the way the coffee was great! They have a talented crew behind the counter. A small assortment of snacks is available. If I lived in the area this would be my regular haunt. I'd be the weird old guy in the corner, but still it's a great place. It's easy to find, and parking is available adjacent to the building and on the street. There are a couple of tables and chairs out front if you want to brave the heat. But it was kind of pleasant early in the morning. I had a regular cup of coffee it has a strong dark flavor. Very nice! Great local coffee shop. Wish I was hanging out longer!

Epic FAIL! I ordered a small cake for an elopement ceremony from Butter. Weeks before the ceremony I showed the baker the inspo picture (plain white cake with cursive writing) and they said yes we can do that. Unfortunately- when I picked the cake up it was nothing like the inspiration picture. The manager refused to refund the cake or have somebody re-ice and fix the cake. Simply said, there is nothing we can do and sent me away in utter disappointment. So much for supporting this local business, never again.

Just go! This was delish, atmosphere was quiet, clean, neat. The variety of goodies was vast, and its gluten free! But doesn't taste like it at all! Y'all this is place is delish!

Butter is a totally gluten free bakery. I am not gluten sensitive or in need of gluten free food and found these baked goods very good!! They were quite tasty and visually appealing. Some friends and I tried multiple items — all of them were good. Though still partial to gluten containing baked treats, these hold there own in a serious way!

I have spent time in every major city in the South Central USA and I have NEVER seen anything like BUTTER!! Every thing in my photos is GF! Some are even GF/DF/Egg Free!!

We loved what we had. The avacodo toast was super good. My husband had the biscuits and gravy and it was really good. Got a couple pastries to take home and was really impressed. I plan to go back this week to pick up pastries. The ONLY downfall we had, was feeling kind of rushed in ordering. Being it was our first time and not knowing the process was a bit of a challange.

This place is... AMAZING. It is a mecca for gf patrons. I live in Florida and just happened upon it as I searched for GF goods on my way to and from Texas. WOW. If I lived nearby I'd probably be here daily. My favorites were a cookie sandwich with buttercream frosting inside and an eclair. Both the fillings and cookie/dough pieces of both were incredible. I also brought home a cheesecake brownie, peanut butter frosted brownie, and a regular frosted brownie. All were also fantastic. If I could have guaranteed I'd get everything home to FL without it melting/getting crushed on the journey, I'd have gotten one of everything! I am planning a special trip back to LA around returning to this bakery, that's how good it is! My gluten-eating husband also sampled the goodies and said they were fantastic. Run, don't walk to Butter!!

It's hard being gluten free sometimes, but places like this make it a bit easier. There were so many tasty options that I was in shock! The staff was super friendly and even gave me suggestions. If I lived here, I'd become a regular!

I prepared food, but when I was putting the food in, he threw half the meat into the garbage. They keep making fools of people, thinking they don't see them. This kind of stupid place doesn't need workers here.

Walked in about 1:30. This is the only food option at the location now. Walked up to order, girl looked up at me rolled her eyes and grabbed the pans in front of her, turned slammed them down on the side counter looked back at me and asked in an annoyed tone "can I help you". I replied not with that attitude and walked out. I'll go where my money is appreciated.

My father had an unfortunate visit to this Subway location. Two teenage employees displayed blatant racism, laughing at his broken English during the order, and then got the order wrong. It's disappointing and disrespectful. Beware of such behavior. Date: Saturday, March 9th

Found out this subways doesn't accept gift cards, yet they sell them...that's pretty shady. Scraggly, sloppy looking kid that works here says "you be good now" after the transaction as if i wasn't about twice his age. Not too bright now, is he? No wonder he works at a subway inside a truck stop.

Pointless to go to this location. Guy on night shift is always somewhere else and it gets old debating each topping. It really isn’t his fault; someone did not train him at all. He doesn’t know much and he certainly is trying to be polite but seems clueless that he is talking you out of toppings the entire time. I’m sure the bread is going to be nice stale tomorrow considering he has the bread station slap full right before closing time.

I personally couldn’t give 5 stars because of the lack of toppings on my pizza, as I usually only eat meat and like to splurge and have pizza from time to time, so this is just a personal preference. Fun atmosphere, my friends salad which I did take a pic of and taste the fresh mozzarella cheese, it’s was yummy! The whole esthetic is fun and we enjoyed sitting outside on the patio afterwards! Weather was pretty cool, plenty of fans, and clean bathroom! You do order at the counter then sit, fyi!

Friendly and welcoming staff. Beer was a fantastic variety. The Chennault was absolutely delicious!

This place has no business being this good. The beers... I hate to admit it but every city I go to I try to find the best IPA the area offers. They may not want to call their beers IPAs for fear of scaring people off but they are phenomenal. The service is impeccable (EXTREMELY friendly people) and the atmosphere is nice (stereotypical brewery with a dash of local WWII history) despite it's location in the concrete jungle area of Monroe. The pizza is great. Get a side of ranch. Take a four pack to go. You can't ask for anything nicer. And it's in Monroe! Yes, right here! It's world class.

Monroe has needed a place like this. It's fun to use as a party spot for a group. There is a great outdoor area with games (giant blocks and corn hole and some ring game) as well as tables and a large TV under the covered area. There are several tables under this covered area outside. There are dart boards and pinball machines inside as well as comfortable sitting areas with large chairs and sofas. The beer is great. I think their small batch beers that are only available at this site are their best work. They have everything from lighter Blonde, to Double IPA, to Milk Stouts to Saison. There is something for every beer lover. They will even let you bring your own food for a large party for only a small clean up fee. You need to book this early though, as their calendar is BUSY with events. A great group of guys own this place. It's always a good time. Update: Specialty pizza did not disappoint.

They may have started as just a brewery, but they have certainly figured out the pizza. They may have the best brick oven style pizza of anywhere within 100 miles. Their amber is good too. It’s become an almost weekly treat for us.

Stellar brews and food. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Truly miss your stuff being distributed to south Louisiana. May have to make this a periodic pilgrimage!

The food is amazing!! Crispy, wood fired, flavorful pizza was everything I wanted it to be. Our order came out super fast right out of the oven too. We got The Claire and the kale salad. My husband and I don’t drink so I didn’t really know what to expect but I was so impressed. We went for date night and loved the cozy vibes outside with lights, picnic tables, and heaters. We got salad, pizza, cokes, and brought a board game to play. The staff was so friendly too! Loved it and we will be back to try out all the different pizzas!

While visiting Duck Commander (shout out to the guy behind the counter who highly recommended Papi Loco) my husband smelled food and noticed there was a to go box and he asked the guy for food recommendations around the area as we were here for HS baseball playoffs. We LOVE Birria and he suggested the birria quesadillas. So off we went … upon arrival it was raining and the door was locked. We had checked the hours before arriving and it said they were open. My husband noticed a guy in there so he tapped on the to-go window and the guy said they were having technical difficulties due to the weather but to come on in. He’d be ready in just a few. We were greeted with chips and salsa (I’m picky about salsa and this salsa was GOOD!!). I ordered the hibiscus margarita and it just so happened to be 2 for $6 (Cinco de Mayo special). It was delightful! The majority of the table ordered the King Quesa Birria. My only complaint was that it was a little messy/hard to eat, but the flavor was spot on! That crispy shell with the melted cheese and meat. Chefs kiss!! As if we weren’t full already, we had to try the Papi Churros. OMG! They were so warm and oh so good! So make sure you save room for dessert!!! Highly recommend Papi Loco!

I absolutely adore this place. Everything about it is just so exquisitely intrinsic. The artwork in here is magnificent and captivating. The seating is very strategically place to make sure that maximum space is had and don’t get me started on the margaritas and the food they are to die for. Now for the staff, the owner is in the building and is a wonderfully nice human being. It’s a whole family run business and they are all so sweet. 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND. we will be coming here more frequently!!

The tacos here were extremely authentic and tasty! I ate every last bit of my food. The creamy green sauce I could drink! This place is so affordable and the staff were friendly. I will definitely stop here again next time I visit Monroe.

My wife and I were in the mood for a quick dinner after driving in from Fort Worth and decided to stop by. It was our first time at Papi’s and the food and service were fantastic!!! The street tacos had so much flavor. The hibiscus margaritas hit the spot and José was amazing. Felt like eating with family. We will definitely recommend and be back very soon!

We visited Cracker Barrel twice during our vacation in West Monroe. We came back because of the great people and food. Both times we were blessed with the kindness and conversation with the workers. Quinton, Leo, Andrew and Audrey were the workers we met during our time dining in. Each one was friendly and created a welcoming atmosphere. If you are stopping in West Monroe I would recommend coming by the Cracker Barrel here.

We had stopped our routine Saturday morning trips with Grands because it was not the same, no automatic offer of biscuits, limited bottles of syrup, unfriendly service, long wait for food. This morning, great experience! Food was hot, well prepared, service was attentive and kind, decor was changed, but just updated, one wall painted white, giving a lighter and brighter atmosphere, all changes in a good way. Your customers will return if you give them friendly service, good food served in a timely manner and a little extra that makes you different than Denny’s.

I hardly ever share reviews but this was hands down one of the best experiences I’ve had at restaurant! From the moment I walked in, the hospitality was amazing. Our server was kind, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without even having to ask. The manager also stopped by our table to check in, which made the experience feel personal and welcoming. And the food was delicious. Everything came out hot, fresh, and seasoned to perfection. I left full, happy, and already looking forward to coming back. Great service, great food, great people — 5 stars all the way!

My experience was too good not to leave a review. Our server Dominique was top tier. She was attentive, patient, and precise.Listen!! And she had us joked out. We appreciated how not only did she make sure the adults were okay she ensured our kids had what they needed. Definitely wasn’t used to this type of experience from a Cracker Barrel. Our family will return just on our experience with Dominique alone.

Took over 30 minutes to get my food and it was horrible. Asked for well done eggs and they were runny, grits were hard lumps of nasty, ham was so dry I could not cut it. Pancakes were just terrible. Thirteen dollars for food I could not eat. Won't be back

If you want to wait a long time for your food, this is the spot. We waited an hour+ for some of my families meals to come. The sides of fries were stale and tasteless and they only put 6 or 7 fries on the plate. My 11yr old ordered breakfast biscuit, but only got 2 burnt bacon stripes and an egg smaller than his palm. No2 biscuit and no hash brown either. Had to ask for extra napkins twice, no plates were brought for the biscuits ( we ate them on our napkins). Water glasses were rarely filled back up. We ended up getting up from our table and poking our head in the kitchen, a manager came up to us we told her everything was taking too long and we were gonna box it up. She said they only have 1 cook. This is something that should be communicated at the beginning to allow customers to make a decision if they want to eat there or not. The cherry on top is when paying, the manager clicked #9 on the payment screen after I tapped my card for "how satisfied was your experience" she didn't give me the option to choose, they just didn't want a bad review. I love CB but this place is one I won't visit again.

My family & I were in town visiting & decided to try Outback in August. It's been several years since I've been, so was looking forward to going. We arrived & had a 10 min wait. For whatever reason, it took our server several mins to greet us. We ordered our food & everything came out as ordered. We had chicken fingers & fries, grilled chicken & fries, cobbler salad, blooming onion & the bread of course. Everything was okay! Our server was kinda hit & miss through dinner but it wasn't a complete waste. Maybe different menu items would have been better.

The restaurant was clean and the service was good. The food was good. 2 -6 oz sirloin ordered the exact same, medium rare, but one was under cooked and under seasoned. Still good but, just different than expected. My daughter loved the chocolate Thunder from Down Under dessert.

I’ve eaten here several times in the last couple of months and the food was extremely good each time. My servers were nice and stayed on top of things, but the manager Sheila came around and checked with us each visit and anything that we mentioned, she took care of immediately! She’s an excellent manager without a doubt. Years ago it was one of my favorite restaurants but in later years it has gone down drastically, but she has certainly turned the place around. She and her staff should be commended. Wonderful place to eat and great food!!

I wasn’t gonna come out here because I didn’t think I was gonna get good service… but let me tell you. I was incredibly blown away about how excellent this place is! The hostess opened the door for us upon arrival. We were sat promptly and greeted by our server. Andre was so knowledgeable and attentive to us, and we watched him be just as attentive with all of his tables. He made sure our order was right, and he make sure it was right on the check too. Not to even mention that the steak was cooked to absolute perfection. It was the best steak I’ve had at a restaurant, probably ever. I wish I had taken a picture just to prove my point, but I was too busy eating it. Top down, this was an excellent experience. I will be back for sure, and I will be asking to be sat in Andre’s section again. If he’s busy, I’d wait for an open table in his section.

We did a pickup order and was very pleased! It was ready exactly when promised and it was rather quick actually. The food was fresh and delicious and I definitely recommend. This order was for my daughter she ordered the Queensland pasta with chicken and shrimp which was delish. She also ordered the wings in the mild flavor with ranch instead of blue cheese. She asked for extra Ranch that they only gave her a small cup extra. That may be enough for most but the girl really likes Ranch and she doesn't mind paying for it. All in all a very good experience at curbside pickup.

We ventured to Outback on Saturday night around 7:30 pm. It had been a few years due to a previous rough experience at this location. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of meat we were served. The bloomin’ shrimp was extremely fresh. I ate the surf and turf and the meat was cooked to perfection. I asked for medium rare and it came out to a T. I could tell the staff was trying their absolute best to serve us. It looked like they were a tad understaffed but the remaining staff was putting on a smile and emitting a positive vibe. Pleasant surprises from the meal were the strawberry lemonade and prime rib sandwich. Both come highly recommended. Outback is a good experience, overall with a fantastic meat selection which shone bright on our meal.

Mac n cheese was way too greasy. Server was nice n attentive. Will order something different next time. Rolls were amazing.

So far we have watched workers walk around for 30 minutes before my wife had to get someone to come take our order service is extremely slow with hardly anyone here to eat the waiter didn’t even bother to take up the menus after we ordered waiter returned to ask if we needed anything and we still have yet to receive any food not sure if they are getting proper training to how to wait on people if anything he should have let us know our food would would be out shortly but that’s to be know it seems the workers tend to stay in the back instead of active with the customers we been here an hour and still no food the customers behind us had to yell for someone to bring them Togo boxes of there is a manager for this place they are nonexistent again we got asked can we get anything before our food has arrived which is extremely odd we can see why this place is empty the fries are cold burger is ok it had a little heat from the grill this will not be a future stop for us on our trips much help needed for this location

Nice place but the service was poor and slow, I feel sorry for the girl who ran around trying to keep it together, there were approx. 6-7 other workers but only 1 was serving a group of us, there was 1 who came to the cash register then we didn't see him anymore, 1 at the bar, 2 at the door, 2 others just walking around. It took over an hour before we received our food and then it wasn't correct, the food was cold, the fish tasted as if it was cooked in some bad oil, I could go on and on but I will not, I was greatly disappointed and won't be back, I hope that they do better, I wish I knew that server name she a great worker despite everything else that happened.

We travel for a living and Logan’s is one of our go to places. We go two to three times a week to see our special loved one Bobbie. She is the sweetest and most hardworking woman I know. She keeps the beers coming and knows what we want before we even ask!

Went on Monday night to celebrate my birthday it was not busy but we ended up leaving after 15 minutes because no one talked to us after being sat. The bartender helped a table sat after us. A server helped another table by us. The busser cleared off the table infront and behind us yet none of them spoke. We got up and I asked to speak to the manager, I informed them what happened and they never said sorry or apologized. When I told them we were trying to celebrate she said happy birthday and I told her it was too late and left.

An absolute gem. The food was very tasty. Fresh and cooked well. The sweet plantains were an excellent side. The service was quirky, the young waitress seemed to have only taken a handful of orders ever, and her command of English left a lot to be desired. I tried to get a slice lemon with my water, and it took asking thrice and was eventually presented limes. My girlfriend and I had a good laugh and continued to enjoy our meals. Overall a great time.

Great place for a Honduran breakfast. We drive to West Monroe several times a year to eat breakfast here. Delicious

We travel across the country quite a bit and this is one of our favorite places to eat. We always stop when we are passing through Monroe. It is locally owned and sometimes there is a bit of a language barrier but the staff is always friendly and the food is always excellent. My favorite is the Honduran Dinner (steak, eggs, sweet plantains, rice & beans, avocado, cheese, and creme with white corn tortillas) and the coffee. We also get the chicken tacos, shrimp tacos, fish tacos, pupusas, and burgers. We haven’t found a dish we didn’t like yet.

Food was delicious, they are very friendly and courteous, I I'll try the Milanesa and was awesome 👍

10-9-19 breakfast. The waitress was nice polite and helpful. The restaurant was clean that I could see. I did not care for the Decore and the overall appearance of the location. The food was good. The waitress help me pick my order because I was not familiar with the menu. The Coffee was extremely hot. Our meals were finished and we were still not able to even take a sip of it. After the coffee cooled down the coffee tasted perfect. Overall it was not a bad experience and I would return to this location.

Man, Texas Roadhouse is just great! Kinda got full off the side salad and delicious rolls, but ribeye was a perfect med-rare and so tender. Waitress was on point with the refills and to-go boxes; wasnt very busy as we go there shortly before 11am as well.

I checked in via text!!! Best thing to do. It was graduation weekend so it was full. Food was great, waiter was good. She was busy but kept an eye on our table.

I always go to our local Texas Roadhouse, and it never disappoints! The food is absolutely delicious—fresh, seasoned perfectly, and cooked just the way I like it. The drinks are just as impressive—flavorful and well made, making every visit even better. Between the great food, tasty drinks, and the fun atmosphere, it’s easily one of my favorite spots.

Great sirloin! Crazy tender. No fat. Seasoned nicely, but the meat was the star. COOKED TO PERFECTION! The cinamon butter for the rolls is really nice. Take home 6 rolls plus butter for only an extra $2.49. cheaper than the coke I got!! Same great tender steak. Same delicious cinnamon butter with the yeast rolls.

I'm writing about the utterly disappointing experience at Texas Roadhouse in Monroe – hands down the worst out of all the locations I've visited, including ones as far north as Massachusetts. We ordered two chicken fried steaks with salad and loaded baked potatoes, plus ribs. Frustratingly, their online system didn't offer rolls and cinnamon butter, which is a staple I'd expect, especially since that's a highlight of dining there. After calling to add them, a 10-minute phone wait led us to drive to the restaurant, only to be told they'd included the rolls and cinnamon butter. When we got home, reality set in: no extra fixings (despite paying for 'loaded' potatoes), just a tiny container of congealed cheese and bacon bits. No butter, no sour cream. Usually each container has each item in it! The steaks were blade rubbery as the coating was bland as all fell off the chicken friend steak, the cream gravy was cold and overly sweet, and don't even get me started on the absence of the extra rolls we wanted which were note Texas road house rolls as No cinnamon butter. Our $80 tab, which included tip, was a rip-off. The house salad as ribs were the only part that had some quality. I'd urge management to overhaul their service and quality control. When standards slip, it's not just business that suffers – customer trust does too. Mediocre service breeds dissatisfaction. Here's hoping they revisit their training and prioritize delivering what customers expect and pay for. Jason B September 28, 2025

At the start, the rolls were cold and stale. I asked for fresh ones, which were hot, but the bread lacked its customary softness and flavor. Our server was pleasant, but the food took an excessively long time to arrive. Regrettably, the food was not up to par. Upon being served, it was evident that the food had been sitting for a while and was cold. Following a 5-10 minute dining period, the server quickly brought the bill. I wished our food had been served with similar haste. As we were in town, we will not return due to the subpar experience.

Our 20 minute wait for a table outside the Monroe location was excruciatingly hot and then when we got inside it wasn't much better. I was hot the entire time I was there. On the bright side, our waitress was an absolute delight.Maddi was Friendly, helpful, patient, & knowledgeable about the menu. The food was pretty good. My daughters love the rolls & couldn't complain about their steak.

It was good but to me not 75$ good I mean dang it was 21$ each plate and endless chips and salsa which was not endless extra refresh your chips … and we got the queso.. it was good.. server was good though I do not think it was 75$ worth of food ..I think this is the reason we stop going to chilis is because how crazy expensive it is first just 2 people to eat damn guys

Okay let's start with Service, upon walking in there was a young lady that greeted us. She was very nice. We waited less than 10 minutes to be seated. Once seated our waiter had a contagious smile on his face that made me light up. He even joked a little, I liked that. We ordered the Double Old Timer Burger and the Ultimate quesadilla salad. Let's just say my child DESTROYED THAT BURGER, hats off to the chef(my bad for forgetting the picture). My salad was good I like the sauce that came with it. I almost forgot to snap a picture of it😂. We enjoyed everything and will be back!

Absolute scam. They charged me five dollars for this. Not only that my egg rolls weren't even cooked all the way. Aside from that they didn't cut the egg rolls, it was noisy, there was hardly anyone there. 5$ for a baby side was the straw that broke the camel's back. Never again.

We waited 10 minutes before being able to sit. And of course that was fine but to waited and get the food that we got was horrible. And the manager really tried but she looked lost. First the food came out cold chicken was not cooked fully. And bye the way bad because I am pregnant. So that could have hurt my baby and second she took it back and brought the same plates 🍽 back. Which bye that time it was dry and the pasta lost it favor. $35 was not a good spend at all. And the excuse was they are new in the kitchen. I really don't care I want what I pay for.

Service sucked I order take out only to get home and all my food is wrong items and flavors! Cashier need to be fired! Nothing was right on my receipt so was so worried bout her hair getting done and washed she couldn’t even run my order up right! The orange braided head black waiter!

My party of 2 was told our wait would be 20 to 30 minutes. We didn't mind waiting. However, I noticed about 5 to 7 tables empty the entire time we were waiting. People were leaving, but we weren't moving up in the line. On the app we were 5th in line. After 20 minutes we were still 5th in line. I asked the hostess why we weren't being seated with so many empty tables. She said she had to go in order of the list. Which is ridiculous because the app showed me there was a party of 12, a party of 8 and another party of 8 ahead of us. So my party of 2 could not be seated until there was available seating for these 3 larger parties. According to the app my wait time was going to be anywhere from 30 to 45 minutes longer than we were told. Had there not been so many empty seats I would not have minded. However, several smaller parties could have been seated and probably fed by the time a space cleared for the larger parties that were waiting. We ended up leaving.

I live right down the street and have always had good service until tonight!! The waitress we had was having a bad time! She got my order wrong and brought out the wrong platter! Then I was charge for the wrong platter which was $14 more. The waitress took an extremely long time to take our drink order, the food order was wrong and food was forgotten!! My son’s fries were raw, the hush puppies were hard as rocks and I received the wrong food which I was not gonna wait for the correct food! My solution unfortunately is to not eat there again! To respond to the owner’s note. It was not the waitress fault that the food was horrible so yes she is entitled to having a bad day! I lay blame on the cooks for the horrible food!! No you did not come to our table to rectify anything so please don’t tell that story!! I Even more so I will return due to posted fibs!

Outstanding service. The owner opened his doors 30 minutes before they officially open so that we could go in, cool off and rest. Food was very abundant and good. A hole in the wall mom and pop joint that has been in business for 30 years. If you get a chance to stop in I would recommend it. Be sure and check out the album collection decorating the walls!

I take no pleasure in giving a restaurant a bad review but after a while owners need to get a handle on somethings. I never cared for the previous owner, his treatment of his employees or others but one thing you could count on was seeing him going around to every customer shaking hands and thanking you for coming to his establishment. He knew you could have gone to any other place but you chose his. You never saw waitress standing around laughing and ignoring his customers he would & did fire them on the spot. The last time I went (tonight) the crawfish was overcooked, the seafood plate portions were very small, the boiled shrimp were soggy & my favorite coconut cake was so sweet neither me nor my family could eat it. And the waitress was to busy on her private phone. We don’t expect the red carpet treatment but for the price I paid I should have gotten the Limo service.

Me and my husband decided to try Cheniere Shack for the first time. Let me tell you, I was utterly disappointed. We waited 5 mins to get asked what drinks we wanted. After that the server was not back. Then I received my food. Smothered chicken. How hard is it to mess that up right? When we received our order my chicken was so thin, over cooked and absolutely no flavor. Now mind you it came with a small side salad and I added a sweet potato because who what’s fry’s with an entree. We called the server over to tell them I was not happy with my tiny, flat, dry and flavorless chicken. As she should she called the manager over who said she will be glad to take the chicken off. By this time I had eaten about 5 bites of my lettuce and cheese with ranch and finished my sweet potato’s and processed to eat 5 of my husband’s shrimp. Now the shrimp were great. We get our ticket and there is a 7$ charge and a 2 dollar charge. We ask for the manager again to ask why the charge. She said because I took of the chicken but you had a salad and sweet potato. $9 for a salad and potato people. I was so shell shocked we will not be back.

We really enjoy eating here. The crawfish are really good and are consistent in flavor every time we go. Service is good. Weekends can get crowded but what good restaurant doesn’t get crowded on the weekens. Will continue to eat here and support local!

The hour-long wait for our food was bad. Enough but the food also came out cold i had ordered roast beef po boy it was cold, the fries were cold. The meat in the sandwich was not shredded.It was a solid chunk of meat. A member of our party also and catfish, and it tasted terrible , my wife ordered a roast beef poboy also it was in the same condition inedible. When complaints were made, the management refused to make any adjustments and charge this full price. What kind of business is this a poor one. Definitely a place we will not return to.Nor do I recommend it to anyone.

The food and atmosphere was amazing. The service top notch and quick. It was coming a flood outside and water was coming in but even then the staff were amazing and kind.

This is the second time I’ve been highly disappointed with this johnnys location. It seems they have cut back and hardly put any pizza sauce on the pizzas anymore also I ordered a pepperoni power pizza to come home to five pepperonis and an overcooked pizza it was so crispy it wasn’t even enjoyable. If I wanted a cheese pizza I would have ordered a cheese pizza. I probably won’t be back to this location the pizza has gone downhill and that’s sad because this used to be a staple for me when it came to pizza yall had the best pizza in town but not anymore. I hope it’s just this location and not all because I truly crave a good Johnnys pizza every now and then but if this is how y’all’s pizza is now I will no longer crave it and would rather buy a frozen pizza from Walmart and that says a lot because they are crap.

I rode from my house in Monroe to the Warren Drive location in West Monroe on bike during August in 100+ temps to eat all you can eat pizza on a Saturday to find out they only do all you can eat rabbit food (salad bar) 😋 on that day. Oh 2 the well I say because for $7 and some gravel I was all set for a good day of fishing shortly thereafter. Just returned from Texas after being over there for 8 years and I'm very happy to be back home where Johnny's is at my leisure. 10 out of 10 still the best in the Boot. Laissez les bons tempes roule baby!

I can’t say anything other than it was perfect. I had two very helpful employees, Yes, I had to ask them for their name, they were very helpful car both Carmine and brian they helped me with questions that I had and made my experience part of the line to anyone reading this review. I recommend that you come to this Johnny’s pizza thank you for the food And service

This guy went above and beyond to make our time here enjoyable…my sister was in town and her dog was in a kennel in back of truck getting rained on ..this young man was eager to help us get the dog covered up and comfortable out of the rain. He gave us two garbage bags that we used to cover his kennel…it’s very hard to find people to do their jobs these days much less go out of their way to help customers..this guy was absolutely amazing!!keep him around!!..I’ve eaten at this Johnnys since I was a kid and it’s the best pizza in the US !!! The people here have always been top of the line..Melissa Price must’ve taught this guy a little something about customer service because she has always been a bright light when me and my family frequent this location in the past!!🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Our first time at Johnny's Pizza House went inside and looked around, The place was hopping, we went up to the counter and we got the buffet. With the buffet you get the salad bar and the pizza choices that are laid out. There is also a section for desserts. Everything was fresh and really tasted good. I would definitely recommend this place.

This Johnny’s gets it right every time. I haven’t had a complaint about anything I’ve had from here yet! It’s nice to have a pizza place who puts out quality food and actually gives you what you pay for!

I always get it delivered and they're great. I don't know they put in that pizza, but it's EXCELLENT ❤️

I have eaten here several times, my meal this time got my attention. I was there for my grandson’s birthday. I ordered the buttered chicken with green beans and broccoli. I must say it was delicious. Even the crawfish etouffee was good? When I come back, I will get it again!

Walk-On’s in West Monroe was a perfect place to stop midway on my drive from Texas to Mississippi and back, so I stopped there twice in my five day trip! On the way out and on the way back. Great atmosphere and the food was really good. I had the wings, the turkey melt and the Hickory burger with onion rings on it. There’s tons of TVs and they’ll put any game on there you want. Kelsie was my server and she was about the best you could ever hope for. Very friendly and helpful! Thank you folks, hope to go again sometime!

Ahi Tuna Salad and Voodoo Shrimp and grits was top tier! Bartenders Presley and Abigail were amazing, we never had an empty beer and were greeted immediately! Outstanding service!!

Of all the years I’ve been coming to Walk-ons Caroline is the best bartender and hostess there is. If I had my own restaurant, she would be the first one I hired. Me and the guys together here all of the time, and we have never had a issue of any kind with service, meals or wait time.

3 stars on service because the waitress added her tip on my credit card herself. I tip in cash and usely more than 20%, but if you tip yourself on my credit card then you lose.

Kelsie was and is one of the best servers i have ever experienced, We were glad to have had her as our server and very impressed with her character and level of performance! I will be returning whenever I’m in the area. The food was great, The Louisiana is a must have! If you are ever in the area, I must see spot hands-down. Thank you Kelsie.

Our server Tatum was amazing! She has such a fun, bubbly personality and made the whole experience enjoyable. she was super attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. one of the best experiences we’ve had at Walk-Ons!

These are the nicest people! They were incredibly courteous when I called on Christmas Eve - before they opened. My Mom insisted, and if you know, you know. They graciously took our take out order and had it ready when we got there - after they officially opened. The food, ham, brisket, baked beans, potato salad, green beans, and mac & cheese was delicious. However. The Pecan Pie was the stuff dreams are made of! The slice was generous, but after tasting it, a whole pie wouldn't have been enough!

I'm in Monroe/ West Monroe for business for the next three weeks and I have decided that for dinner I am going to try a local restaurant. Tonight was BBQ West and I was not disappointed. Even though the brisket was a little dry the flavor was pretty good. The ribs had plenty of meat and plenty of flavor. The mac & cheese was super cheesy and warm and the banana pudding was excellent. I was greeted when I walked in and everyone was very nice. This Texan was pleased with the BBQ at BBQ West!

Great food at great prices served up by great people. You’d be hard pressed to find a better, tastier deal here in NELA. There’s plenty to choose from, including tons meats, sides, and desserts - it’s hard to pick what to try each time (so come back often). Their turkey is probably the best smoked turkey I’ve ever had in my life, but it’s alllllll good here. They even have daily specials! Do not sleep on BBQ West - they will pleasantly surprise you! I really appreciate the team who run this place - truly top notch folks with food I love!

As much as I hate writing this but hopefully it will help. Great people! But ordered today a sliced beef plate with two side to be beans and a chopped beef sandwich plate with two beans. After paying they brought my order it was two chopped beef sandwich plates not what I ordered. Told em I would take the order as is. But when I got home and opened my order I found two sides of beans and a chopped beef sandwich sitting in a bed of beans. Both plates looked the same. Sure don’t like seeing what is going on here at BQQ West. Almost looks like they are going out of business.

I won't go back. The best think there is toaste and pickles. Tomatoe sauce out of can is what their BBQ sauce tasted like. Wanted to use it because meat tasted leftover. DID NOT GIVE WHAT I ASKED FOR. When asked for brisket point with top fat, THEY SCRAPED it all off before serving to me.

I've ate here for years. Loved more than the other place up the road. But here recently they never have anything. No toast, no soda machine, no bottle cokes, no potatoes, no po boys... Nothing. Then I paid 75$ for 5 plates for my family. Just chopped beef sandwiches. No ribs or anything special. They have lost there minds. I will never go back.

I’ve always loved bbq west , but my family and will not be going back it’s really gone down. The beans looked as though they were a week old the potato salad flat no taste, the sliced bread was a very very thin piece of bread. They never have hamburgers anymore, I ordered bbq chicken it still had the neck on it ,which is a first for me. So good luck with the bbq business you will not get our business again . Podnuh’s is just down the street
