Restaurant
Canalside Restaurant & Inn is a relaxed establishment that offers spacious suites with complimentary Wi-Fi and fully equipped kitchens. Located in Port Colborne, Ontario, it is the only accommodation overlooking the Welland Canal at historic Bridge 21. The restaurant on-site provides delicious American cuisine and also houses a kitchen store. Situated by the canal, guests can enjoy their meals on the open-air patio while enjoying scenic views.
Came here for lunch on a Friday afternoon. I had the fish and chips and it was excellent. Some of the most crispy I’ve ever had. The fries were fresh cut and not frozen. My husband had the mushroom burger and said it was very good. Our friend who joined us quite enjoyed her beef dip. It’s a great location to watch the ships and enjoy a good meal!
Shari F — Google review
One of my wife's and I favourite spots in port! Great ambiance next to the canal! Staff are friendly and attentive! The owner is always making sure patrons are having quality service and food!! Always have menu changes and items fresh from our local market! Thanks for always making our nights out fantastic!!!
Mitchell M — Google review
The service was friendly and and very courteous along sure we had our needs met. My salad was very tasty and as for my husband’s hamburger, he said it was the best he has ever tasted in the Niagara region since he came back here, from Alberta, in 2004! He is still raving about it and it’s been a few hours. It has a beautiful spot right on the canal which just adds to the overall ambiance.
Birgit B — Google review
We stayed at the Canalside Inn while seeing a show at the Roselawn Theatre. Has its own restaurant and is perfectly located near many other restaurants. Also, a nice short walk to the theatre. Large, comfortable rooms with views of the canal and lift bridge. Had a drink and a snack at the restaurant, nice place and the Berry Blast was great but both the Long Island Iced Tea and Rum and Diet Coke were flat; fries and onion rings were good.
Cheryl S — Google review
We have stayed here twice and have eaten 3 dinners here. The Inn rooms are amazing. Old historic charming buildings with little kitchens and comfortable bed and furniture. Love the views of the canal and the boats. Dinner is so good. Highly recommend the Mushroom Asiago Chicken, steak with compound butter and the Mongolian Bowl. Fresh season vegetables and garlic mashed potatoes make amazing sides. We will be back again to stay and eat.

We had a group of us for a birthday party. The food was so good and the atmosphere amazing. Our waitress was Amanda and she was engaging and fun! Her smile definitely won us over!

I've been coming to this restaurant every year for over 6 years on mothers Day with my mom, and since past grandmother's. It's my mom's favorite place, so we like to try come out at least 6 times a summer as well. Today the food was small... service was okay. Two years ago we all got a flower, last year we didn't and today EVERYONE AROUND US got a flower when they paid before leaving but today my mother and I didn't. Just the other couples and older women did. That was disheartening. Because we can see them over on the far wall by the pay station... I paid $70 for two meals, which included a half spoiled salad and 2 tiny wraps. I can promise you I personally won't be back. We live out of town and can spend our money somewhere more consistent. Somewhere, we feel appropriate for our business on such an important day!
Miss M — Google review
The worst service I've ever had, the waitress Kelly was so rude, never checked on us and had other people do her job. A nice younger girl sat us, brought our food and we had to ask her for the bills, where a different man came to give them to us. It took 20 minutes to get water, and another 50 to get our food. The wraps were falling apart and stale and the soup was super small. Very disappointing and will not be returning

Restaurant
Situated in the former city train station, The Smokin' Buddha is a cosmopolitan eatery that boasts an Asian influence and a contemporary aesthetic. With its open kitchen and industrial ambiance, this globe-trotting bistro offers delectable dishes inspired by various regions such as Thailand, Korea, and Indonesia. A haven for those unable to travel presently, this establishment allows your taste buds to embark on a culinary journey.
There's a reason this restaurant has such a good reputation, the food is delicious. It feels small and comfortable, but unique. The food is packed with flavour, I got a vegan dish and honestly it was a 10/10 I couldn't imagine liking anything else more . What a treat, I will definitely be returning soon

My wife's family visited Port Colborne for stay cation. This restaurant was highly rated and we wanted to try it out. There was a long wait for table as we were a party of 11. We told the server we can take separate tables to make it quicker. We still ended up waiting about 30-40 minutes. The restaurant decor is nice and thoughtfully decorated. There are antique bicycles hanging from the ceiling and Thai inspired paintings on the wall. The dining table had some scrapbook style design under the glass top. It was unique and cool. We were excited to try the food. My mother-in-law ordered the bulgogi bowl with egg. My wife ordered the Mongolian beef and I ordered the chicken pad thai. The bulgogi bowl was loaded with fresh cut cucumbers, carrots, green onions. The ginger soy sauce lacked punch of flavors. I do recommend mixing up everything like a bimbimbap. The Mongolian beef had a orange citrus taste. The beef was tender and it was served with green onions and sesame seeds. I had the chicken pad thai. The noodles cooked perfectly and there's plenty of chicken, tofu and bean sprouts. There was a hint of spice in this dish. We also added an order of duck spring rolls. The filling was tasty and spring rolls were big. The only critique I would say is to frie the spring rolls longer to get it crispier. Overall, the ambiance and service was really good. The food is catered to Western/ Canadian pallets so some may feel the food doesn't feel authentic.

My sister was visiting from Ottawa and instead of sticking to our usual spots, we decided to try something different—and I’m so glad we finally gave The Smokin' Buddha a shot! I’d heard good things for years, and it definitely lived up to the hype. We ordered a spread of dishes to share, and everything that hit the table was pretty damn tasty. Highlights included the samosas, crab rangoon, crab puffs, Bangkok fish cakes, pork gyozas, and the chimichanga—seriously, not a single miss. My son ordered the Korean noodles and absolutely loved them. I had the shrimp pad Thai, which was great, but I have to admit, I kept stealing bites of his noodles. It was a refreshing change from the usual and a really fun experience overall. We’ll definitely be back!

Our favour place to dine when we travel to Port Colborne. We have been coming here for several years and it never disappoints. Friendly staff and a wonderful menu featuring Thai and Korean dishes, all well prepared. We usually eat outside in the summer, but inside in the cooler months is just as enjoyable. Had a nice chat with Kevin, the owner, about some of his plans for future events. Definitely will plan to attend some of them!
Tom H — Google review
This is hands down one of the best restaurants around. Every menu item is amazing and they are always adding to the menu and changing it up. I recently tried the new Ramen, it was incredible! I cant stop thinking about it 🤤 The staff and service is always great. Often times the owner comes around to check in and chat with customers and he has lots of great stories about his word travels and experiences. This is such a great place I can't recommend enough!
Cherie H — Google review
My wife and I were in town to see a play, have dinner and stay overnight. We had been to The Smokin Buddha previously a number of years ago and really enjoyed it. We made reservations and were promptly seated outside, which was great as it was a lovely evening and the restaurant was very hot inside. The place was very busy with lots of cooks and pans going. The kitchen is on full view. We ordered spring roll appetizers which came out hot and tasty. Both of us ordered a beer. I tried the signature amber ale which came out icy cold and delicious. My wife ordered a favourite - Steam Whistle it was not as cold , perhaps as the keg had to be changed. For mains my wife had the Udon noodle bowl with chicken and it was delicious. I ordered Shrimp Pad Thai which was good but not great. The balance of sweet, savoury and hot was thrown off by the too sweet sauce - but plenty of shrimp however . Truthfully I was expecting better as our food previously was better.
Bruce L — Google review
We brought our family here to celebrate our wedding and the staff were so attentive for our group of 12! Food was amazing, owner came out to make sure we were comfortable, including moving an umbrella so that there wouldn’t be any sun shining on us directly. Love the ambiance here and we already know we’ll be back every year for our anniversary :)
Andrea S — Google review
Thanks to our server Kaitlin, she is very nice. The only good about the restaurant. The food is so so, expensive for the bland taste, serving size is small plus we waited 30 mins to 45 minutes for our food to arrive. Definitely not a great experience.

Chicken restaurant
The Belmont Port Colborne, located at 175 King St in Port Colborne, Ontario, Canada, offers a variety of delicious dishes such as french fries and fried mushrooms. With its inviting atmosphere and outdoor seating option, customers can enjoy their meals and drinks either at the restaurant counter or outside. The establishment provides an array of alcoholic beverages to choose from. When I visited with two other adults, we found the restaurant to be clean and well illuminated.
First of all, not a hotel but and excellent local bar and restaurant. Sat at the bar as I always do, the service is always fantastic. Rotating selection of beers on tap. I always order the brosted wings and they are hands down some of the best wigs I have ever had. This is a must visit on all of my trips to the area.

Great food selection, great service with a old rustic feel.I had the perch from lake Erie and it was great, The chicken parmesan my mother said was the best she has had in a long time. If you are ever visiting port, it's a must stop for a drink and some food. Great prices too ☺️
Rob ( — Google review
We had Liette as our server, she recommended the 25 piece broasted chicken family meal. My kids loved it and so did we. Potato wedges were so crispy. Overall attentive service. Great management:) Will definitely be back soon!
Emma M — Google review
The Belmont has always been my family's favourite! Since moving out of town we came back for Canal days and had to stop in. Even though they were busy, our waitress made sure to check on us multiple times. All the girls had smiles on their faces, the food and drinks were great! They also had a great band on the patio for entertainment, and a dj inside. Overall, definitely a place you want to go!
Lisa B — Google review
I couldn't rate the rooms fairly as I was only there for the regular Friday night patio party. First time here, so we had difficulty finding the right entrance to the patio. We entered through the restaurant, through the bar area, to the patio. It's a large patio, partially covered. Great atmosphere! There was a 3-piece male group, New Rising Sun, that sang popular songs. They were amazing and set the right mood for the night. The appetizers were fresh, tasty and well-priced. From 10pm on, the outdoor bar serves $5 drinks (beers, liquor, shots). btw....there was also a DJ and pool tables in the indoor bar area.
Rose T — Google review
We didn't stay at the Belmont (I don't think they even have hotel rooms anymore) but we ate there (I couldn't figure out how to review just the restaurant) 3 stars out of 5 is 60% or a "C". That seems low, but it is a string C and the reason for it is mainly because the pizza was not available and due to the long wait. WE WOULD DEFINITELY COME BACK AGAIN. It was a Thursday around 7:30pm and the place was nearly empty. Our waitress was obviously new, but tried hard and was very sweet. We were told immediately that all pizza and pasta were not available (we had planned to try the pizza, wings and broasted chicken, so disappointing) We ordered garlic bread with cheese as an app, which was a small serving but exceptionally delicious and served quickly. We asked for the regular wings, broasted wings, and broasted chicken to be well done (we hate rubbery chicken). We waited an extremely long time for all the chicken, but man was it worth the wait!!! The broasted chicken was especially great. As for the wings, we preferred the regular over the broasted because for medium broasted you had to dip it in the sauce whereas the regular medium were tossed in the sauce and that was somehow better balanced. The broasted Cajun wings were good but not great. The cocktails were all a bit disappointing, kinda flat. Location is perfect, very close to all to see and do in Port Colborne.

18.00 for two perch fillets and a salad. Was over charger by 20.00 as they charged for the salads full price so $ 56.00 for two dinners! Waitress dropped a tray of drinks splashing guests. Bathrooms smelled of vomit. Waste baskets overflowing. Way better places to spend money on food in Port Colborne.

Excellent value for money in a fine dining setting. Ingredients are fresh and everything is prepared in house. Decent wine list. Service efficient and friendly. A notch above similar restaurants in the region!

Had dinner with friends tonight and it was wonderful! Lori is a very good server, professional and friendly. Our food was delicious as well. I had the Canadiana salad and I have to say it was one of the best salads I've ever had! We have been here many times and have never been disappointed. Highly recommend! ( make a reservation as they are quite busy!)
DM — Google review
Stopped by the restaurant to see if I could buy a container of sauce. I was told that they do not have take out and that they were very busy this evening. I asked again and indicated I just wanted to buy a container of sauce to go. The lady I believe she was the manager told me that they do not have takeout containers. I said I understand and left. Before I left I thought to myself hmmm if the restaurant does not have take out containers how would someone be able to take leftovers home. Maybe they can't because they don't have takeout containers. Strange.
Jeanne G — Google review
Rarely I give really bad reviews because I know how tough to run a restaurant. But the great reviews here from others set my expectation and got really really disappointed. The service was really good and I don’t want my review to penalize the waitstaffs. The appetizers focaccia and calamari were both great. But then my risotto was really horrendous. Super salty and chef made it super soggy. Risotto shows how good an Italian restaurant is and this one is a F. The clam pasta was just odd. Tons of bacon and oil (contrast to what a seafood linguine should be) and actually had no flavour (not even salt). They took out the charge of my risotto because I didn’t eat it and also let majority of the pasta there. I made sure I gave a large tips. Left the restaurant super irritated for a bad meal. Chef, need to do something.
Thomas L — Google review
Disappointed unfortunately. Been here many times but will hesitate to return. Garlic shrimp not as usual. Lack of garlic taste, presentation was not the same and the cheese on it peeled right off in one piece. Not melted as usual. Garlic bread was not toasted and cheese on top was not melted. Veal Parmesan was ok but not hot enough and cheese not melted. All 4 of us were disappointed… Sorry.
Lorraine D — Google review
Had dinner with the girls last night. Food as always was excellent. Since the portions are quite generous, my only suggestion is that you offer a smaller sized salad on the menu to go with the main entree.

Great food and nice service! Had a pleasant experience for our first time being there! We sat on the patio outside where we faced Lake Erie and marina! There was a live band too accompanied by some great drinks!

Not open, as it states it is (June). Drove 35 mins for a patio beers on the water to be let down. I think we deserve a pitcher on the house the next time we make the trek . Please update your hours of operations. 3 stars for location.

Whiskey Walleye...terrible food..supposed to be a fresh food restaurant as it sits next to Lake Erie... Where should I begin.. the appetizers were not cooked, the calamari, to be specific and the perch were cooked ...too well done...the chicken fingers were well done and so were the chicken wings. The lettuce was wilted the french fries had been double cooked! We were there for a 90th birthday party and we will never go back. The waitress apparently told the manager that the food was not what was expected and they tried to appease us with a piece of cake. The waitress told us that the kitchen staff we're overwhelmed. They knew we were planning this party for over 2 weeks they could have staffed better and had fresh food and more kitchen staff. Very disappointed. 80% of the people were there were unsatisfied with their food choice. We will not go back.. to bad, we were looking forward to this afternoon out with family.
Kathleen H — Google review
Server was friendly. Appitizer platter was ok a few things overdone on it. Club wasn't very good. The bacon on it was inedible. Wings were good but celery had rotten pieces.

Great food...great service..just not impressed by the loudness of the staff drinking at the bar after their shift. Could hear the swearing at our table..

Beautiful location. Food was amazing! server was nice enough but seemed very frazzled. Didn’t even stand at our table long enough to listen to our order. I was mid sentence and she walked away to another table. Could not focus long enough to hear I wanted sweet potato fries instead of regular fries. Had to flag her back down to finish what I was ordering. The restaurant wasn’t overly busy so why she couldn’t stand still until we finished our order im not sure. I asked her the price of a pitcher she couldn’t tell me nor did she even attempt to find out. I asked for a drink menu and she couldn’t do that either. So food and the view was spectacular, service could be improved

Canadian restaurant
Walters & Neptunes is a well-established dining spot in Port Colborne, known for its Greek and Canadian cuisine. With a history of over 65 years, this restaurant has become a local favorite. If you're looking for other dining options in the area, feel free to share your suggestions in the comments below. Another restaurant worth considering is Ciudad on West Street in Port Colborne, offering burgers, snacks, side dishes, lamb, and rice dishes.
This place is great. I've only been there a half dozen times, never ordered the same dish twice, and have been equally satisfied each time. Perch, Broasted Chicken, Liver n Onions, Double Cheeseburger, the list goes on. The milkshakes are thick and real good. Service is always friendly and accommodating. Nice views in a comfortable setting. Will be back.

This was our first visit. Charming atmosphere, loved the rough brick walls, wooden floors, wooden bar, big street facing windows and fabric checkered tablecloths Service was great when it was great... We were seated right away, drink orders taken, food order taken. Food arrived in 20 minutes and then we didn't see our waitress for almost an hour. We ended up staying over an hour and a half for lunch which was longer than we would have preferred. I'm not sure where our waitress disappeared to for so long, (the restaurant was not busy.) It would have been nice had she checked in with us after our receiving food. Had we seen our waitress again, we would have ordered some beer to go with our meal. I liked that the menu listed all the beers available, with their prices and it was a good selection. Lamb burger was small-ish but perfectly cooked (tender but without lovely crisp edge), Greek salad was nice. Two-piece fish and chips was filling, (a lot of batter coating) and the oil and vinegar coleslaw was balanced. It's a great location, you can maybe find parking around the side or back about a block away. Big menu with lots of choices, and two separate dining room areas which was nice because that would probably cut down on noise if it was busy.
Traveling R — Google review
This place used to be a family favourite of ours, but lately, the quality has just gone way down. We started with a bruschetta bread appetizer. Somehow, the toast was soggy yet the feta was burnt. Then, we had a broasted chicken meal, a chicken souvlaki dinner, and a hot turkey sandwich. The broasted chicken and hot turkey both came with brown gravy, which was an odd flavour combination. The turkey itself and the broasted chicken were both juicy and well cooked though. The mashed potatoes were very bland as well - no butter or salt at all - and our side of “fresh” vegetables, turned out to be frozen peas. The chicken souvlaki dinner had great sides, but the chicken was slightly undercooked. The food had its problems, but was mostly salvageable. The service however, was not. It took quite a while to get a table, then even longer to get asked for drinks. Once our food was delivered, we didn’t see the server again for a while. Overall just very slow service. Unfortunately, probably won’t be back here.

I am disappointed in not being able to get takeout yesterday and today. I understand the person on the phone said they were short in the kitchen. Though, I work all week, am a family caregiver and just wanted take-out to have a quiet good meal at home. My suggestion is hire more staff and/or don't offer take-out at all.

Our family are regulars to this amazing place! The food is always consistent and delicious. Service is fantastic, even despite the fact they always seem very busy. Best Greek options in the city!
Deborah R — Google review
Fine service but the food far from acceptable. My fish had a good batter over a tiny fillet and I am exaggerating to call it that. Fries were fine and clam chowder ok. My coconut cream pie had a good crust and some weak custard filling with a vague taste of coconut. My wife’s Greek salad had a single piece of tomato and her souvlaki was carelessly assembled. Very disappointing as we have had good meals here in the past. Won’t be back.

The Roman pepperoni pizza was awesome and the lock chips with dip was different than the usual chips, was actually deliciously tasty. Jewel, our server was very helpful on the menu recommendation, very pleasant and friendly, always checking if we are okay. Atmosphere was great, music 🎶 was just tuned right and familiar. I tried pizza here back in May for the first time and today we drove 2 hours so we can enjoy it! The pizzas are delicious! Their customer service is top notch! If you are in the area its a must try and if you love pizza so much it will be worth the drive!

Went to this place last year after seeing Joe Gonzalez the pizza review guys tik tok video. Loved the pizza then and loved it again yesterday. We had the Roman pizza. Thin crust Very good cheese Cup and char peps And the sauce on top ( never seen this before but it works fabulously Took a cheesy santo to go and was awesome cold so I can only imagine how good it would be hot out of the oven. I recommend the drive to Port Colbourne to try this pizza joint. Joe rates it as his highest review out of hundreds of reviews and I rate it as my best pizza as well.

Boston Pizza is a fantastic spot for casual dining, perfect for gatherings with friends or family celebrations. The atmosphere is lively, especially in the bar area where you can enjoy a vibrant vibe while watching TV. Diners rave about the delicious food, particularly the crispy and cheesy pizzas like the meateor variety, as well as generous portions of nachos and perfectly fried calamari that disappear quickly! Even during busy times filled with other patrons celebrating special occasions, service remains prompt and friendly.
My friend and I had dinner at Boston Pizza after spending time at the arcade next door. It was my first time trying it, and it was better than expected! The pizza was crispy and cheesy, the nachos came in a huge portion, and the fried calamari was super crispy and was gone in minutes. The drinks were solid, and the space is big with a bar and TVs—great spot to hang out with friends or for a casual date!

I wanted to share my experience from a recent visit to Boston Pizza in Walland. I ordered the ribs, the triple play, and the chicken pecan salad, and honestly, the food was fantastic. Everything was cooked well, tasted fresh, and the flavours were spot on. The service was also great—staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure we were taken care of throughout the meal. From that perspective, I was really satisfied. However, the environment left a lot to be desired. The restaurant itself felt poorly maintained. The seats were cracked and torn, and we actually had to ask to move because the condition of the booth we were initially given was just not acceptable. There was sauce smeared on the walls, crumbs and used napkins left on tables, and the overall cleanliness just wasn’t there. It took away from the experience and made it feel a bit unhygienic, which is the last thing you want when you’re out trying to enjoy a meal. So overall, while I was happy with the food and really appreciated the service, the atmosphere and cleanliness definitely need improvement. If the management could step up the maintenance and cleanliness of the place, I’d gladly come back. But as it stands, it was a mixed experience.

We went to Boston Pizza for our daughters after-grad dinner. We sat in the bar section and the vibe was really good. Our server was prompt and efficient although she did disappear for a bit at one point, leaving our first drink empty for too long. It was very busy though, due to many other grads showing up, so no biggy. The food was excellent! I had the meateor pizza and loved it. Unfortunately, one pizza never showed up, again, with our server having disappeared and not checking on us. She did bring it eventually and did not charge us for it (rightly so). She was very apologetic, and in fairness, it was not entirely her fault as the food was brought out by someone else directly from the kitchen. The kids loved dessert. So, generally a good experience with a couple of service hiccups.

Food is what you’d expect; decent portion for what you’re paying, pretty filling too. We were seated relatively smoothly, didn’t have to wait too long to be greeted by our server and our food order in, but it did take a bit to get the table cleared and to get the bill. Overall, definitely a place to come and eat if you’re a fan of the big chain!

I’ve had two terrible experiences here in the past month—one delivery and one dine-in. For delivery, I placed an order that was supposed to arrive around 6:38. I even have a confirmation email showing the delivery time. By 7:00, nothing had shown up, so I called the store. I was told they thought I was picking it up, even though my confirmation clearly showed delivery. The food had been sitting since 6:00, so they had to remake it before sending it out. No one called me to clarify, and I shouldn’t have had to chase them down an hour and a half later to find out what was going on. After that call, I still waited another hour. The food finally arrived 2.5 hours after ordering. The manager wasn’t helpful and didn’t offer a discount or anything to make up for the delay. I ended up making food for my kids and changing our evening plans. By the time it arrived, one child was already in bed, the others had eaten, and I was the only one who actually ate it. For dine-in a month ago, the service wasn’t any better. After waiting 40 minutes for our food, it was served without cutlery or napkins. I asked our server twice, and nothing was brought. The hostess told me to ask my server or the kitchen, and when I went to the kitchen, they said, “your server will give you some.” It ended up taking 20 minutes after our food was served just to get basic utensils. Both times were extremely disappointing. This location needs to seriously improve its service and communication. Edit to respond to Owner: I already completed the survey, it was emailed to me. In it I selected that I’d like the store to follow up by call or email, but nothing has been done. Honestly, if I could leave three separate 1-star reviews, I would.

Haven’t been here in a few years as I didn’t like the food the last time I went. We went tonight with our baby to give it another shot.. when we arrived they gave us a highchair for our baby. The tray was wrapped in Saran Wrap as if it were just cleaned and ready to be used. But this was not the case. The chair was filthy.. there were crumbs on the tray and seat and you could SEE black grime build up all over the chair. It didn’t look like it’s ever been properly cleaned. I did not let my baby sit in that chair.. she stayed on my lap. So disappointed in the lack of effort towards cleanliness, especially given it is cold and flu season.. you’d think they would do a better job in ensuring high chairs are clean as babies are most vulnerable. On top of that, we were still not a fan of the food. I only ate half of my meal as the “roasted carrots” were not cooked and were tossed in a disgusting white sauce. I will not be back.

The food was real good. Accidentally gave us the wrong app but we chose to take it because it looked delicious in which it was. They gave a discount on it too as it wasn’t what we ordered which was nice of them. The main courses came out pretty quick and the server and the one helping her were super pleasant and attentive. Will definitely come back. We always tend to have good experiences here.

We visit this Bp quite frequently. Lately it’s always been new servers. Tonight took 20 minutes for a drink order. 2 out of 3 drinks were wrong. Almost 50 minutes for food. Bill was wrong. Our server only came to our table twice. The server who took our order was rude. The food was sub par. Our started was completely burnt. From a family who normally comes once a week, the last couple of visits has thrown us completely off. We won’t be visiting this BP in the near future.

Located in downtown Port Colborne, Eh Amigos Cantina is a Tex-Mex and Mexican restaurant that prides itself on using fresh, high-quality ingredients. They prepare their dishes in small daily batches to ensure top-notch taste. This charming eatery offers a delectable menu with options for vegetarians as well. The service provided by the friendly staff is exceptional. From their delicious tacos to crispy Canadian fries, every dish at Eh Amigos Cantina is simply delightful.
I have lived by this location for four years now and have never tried their food. Today I decided to try it out and we got supreme fries with spicy beef and we also got the Cuban quesadillas. I was surprised to see no one else in the dining room as the food was delicious! Big portions which I thought was pretty fair for its price. I will definitely come back again. Also the staff was extremely friendly and the service was very quick.

First time dining here. Food was delicious. Shared a cantina ceasar salad and had a chicken and bacon burrito (#2 on the menu) both were absolutely fantastic. The coconut margarita though was by far the best margarita I've ever had. Definitely will be returning to try other menu items!!

Drove to Port Colborne to view the canal and found this gem. The place has colourful murals and Mexican art pieces along its walls. It was mid afternoon so the dining area was ours. The hostess was very welcoming and attentive. Tortillas are housemade. The empanadas were made vegan for me. The margarita had enough lime and salt. Churros were soft, warm and sugary. Worth visiting if you're in the area.

Ate here for the first time today at lunch. This place is amazing! Probably the best restaurant burrito I've ever had, with absolutely heavenly pulled pork. So much flavor. Wonderful charred Jalapeño margarita, and they can accommodate lots of food allergies. This is an absolute must-try location. I'd give it six stars if I could. But beyond the food, the atmosphere is fun and traditional, and the owner is such a delight! She is very passionate about her Food and service, and rightly so. Definitely need to try this place!

Location: Port Colborne, 115 Main St W, Port Colborne, Ontario L3K 3V3, Canada. Offering toasted bread, pub-style dining with a French influence and delectable chicken souvlaki. If you're craving delicious American menus like burgers or barbecue, this is the spot for you. They also provide tasty vegetarian-friendly options and serve a delightful brunch for breakfast.
We love Melina's. It's generally our go-to breakfast spots with my in-laws. Great prices, great food, amazing atmosphere. My husband loves their big breakfast which he generally shares with our daughters. My son loves getting pancakes. I usually get their bacon grilled cheese as I am allergic to eggs and its always perfect. Highly recommend.

While visiting Port Colborne, we decided to have lunch at this Family Restaurant. The place was actually bigger than it looks when you first walk in. It was a popular place and there was a bit of a lineup, but it moved quickly. They had both a breakfast and lunch menu, so lots to choose from. We decided to get the spinach & feta cheese omelette ... and an order of Eggs Benedict. The home fries that came with the meals were really good, however, the English muffins under the Eggs Benedict were a little burnt on the bottom. Also, their brewed coffee was not the best. Having said that, it was still an enjoyable meal with excellent service and a pleasant atmosphere. Was reminiscent of restaurants I have visited in the States with wholesome home-cooked meals. Very satisfying and filling. Just a heads up though ... they only accept cash and they close at 2, ... but there is an ATM machine right on the premises. 😆 I recommend going here if you're in the area and don't know where to eat. 😊👍💜

Food was great. Awesome prices. Cash only is fine. Confusing layout with two doors to enter. I'm sure the regular understand the flow but for my first visit it was a bit confusing. Past that, dated decor is meh, it's just a regular good ol' fashioned diner with good food and prices.

Went to have breakfast with 8 people, 4 of the 8 were kids. Asked for a table for 8 and the girl rolled her eyes and rudely said I will have to set up a table. The restaurant was not even half full and we waited for over 10 minutes for a table. In the mean time the two cooks were looking at us giving us the evil eye. I asked the two what they were looking at and they just snarled. We left and went to STACKED. I’ve been to this restaurant numerous times over the past 5 years and after this experience will not be back again

Melina’s is a fantastic family-owned and operated restaurant in Port Colborne. The food is always fresh and delicious, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere makes you feel right at home. They’re incredibly accommodating to large groups — perfect for family gatherings or special occasions. A true local gem!

EDIT: Needed to edit my review after most recent visit. I am a vegetarian and have been going to Melina’s for years. When I first started coming I asked about how the food was cooked and they said the food was made on the same flattop, but I should not worry as there is there is no meat contact with any of the other foods. I even continued to note this just in case on numerous visits but was always assured that no contact occurs between the meats and other foods (not told they were making any special exceptions, but that it does not happen). On my visit today (June 6, 2022) I found a strip of bacon, not a small piece, it was about half a strip which I should have taken a picture of, in my hash browns. I do understand mistakes happen, but it was the response that was most uncomfortable for me. I notified my waitress and explained that I was a vegetarian and she responded “you should have told me then” my partner then attempted to explain that I had questioned on numerous occasions and was always assured that there is no contact and her response was then “how am I expected to remember you”, but as I mentioned earlier they made no previous impression that they were making any special exceptions, otherwise I would have notified her, obviously not expecting them to remember me. Unfortunately I have not had this experience at other establishments despite being a vegetarian for 9 years and Its not typically necessary to ask that something which is not listed as an ingredient be excluded from my food. Regardless, I would just expect a better response or even in a more kind tone. She did end up asking if I wanted something else but she already made me uncomfortable and I had lost my appetite. ORIGINAL POST: Melina’s is always great. Cheap prices for the classic breakfast and big portions. Has been my go-to breakfast place for the last 3 years and the food never disappoints. I’ll definitely be back again and again. Only downfall is they only take cash, they have an atm but there’s a fee of about $2.50.

My kids wanted to treat me for my 60th birthday today. Mings was closed so came here. The only thing that tastes off for me is the egg roll, not sure why as have had before. But tried a second one and it is the same. So, won't be eating those! Also, my girls said the chicken wings were bland and also tasted soapy?? Chicken balls and rice however are very good! So , not sure what happened in the kitchen tonight , but a bit disappointed and won't be back.

I've ordered from here many times over 100 dollars spent and enjoyed, however complain and I quote "you don't eat here no more." All it was is I live on the east side of town so of course there's this stigma that I'm trying to rip them off not the chase. The two orders of lemon chicken an one of General Tao where dry'n'crispy and very little sauce everything else was good called to rectify it and they tried to take the food back, thus breaking rules that existed before Covid. When told to call the cops because I refused to give the foul food sitting in my green bin they very threateningly said "We don't need them my husband is on the way." The best part the food they sent looked worst than what I had originally complained about quite literally floating in water. Clearly done in spite just look at pics and keep in mind its not sauce.

On a quiet Thursday morning, amidst the peaceful town, I visited The Breakfast Barn Diner for a takeaway breakfast. The bustling atmosphere immediately caught my attention as locals filled the place. A friendly waitress promptly served me as I ordered a couple of sandwiches to go. Within the promised time frame of ten minutes, my order was ready and I settled under a large tree in the parking lot to devour it.
My husband and I stayed in the area from the States. This was a delicious place! Canada's cured meat is so much better than the US haha. This was the best sausage and bacon I've had! Service was a little slow and she would finish sentences as she was walking away-- but, wouldn't stop me from going here. It was also reasonably priced!

Really cute diner that’s family run by some hard working ladies. Service is always spot on even when it’s busy. I travel and dine out a lot and this restaurant is top tier for service and food is great. Very attentive staff that really enjoy their jobs and it shows. Keep up the great work, I would highly recommend Breakfast barn.

If the food wasn’t as good as it was, it would have been a 2 or 3 rating. The service was terribly slow. We weren’t even acknowledged when we walked in. If I hadn’t ordered an orange juice that I had to pay for, we would have left without ordering our breakfast because we were waiting so long for the waitress who seemed to be doing nothing. And when she was doing something she was extremely annoyed to be doing it. The waitress stood at the kitchen window ignoring the people in the restaurant the entire time we were there. We are pretty patient people when we go out to eat, so if we were annoyed I can’t imagine how others felt. The waitress claimed there was a really big order she was dealing with (there was no big group of people there) and the kitchen had messed up some orders so she was also dealing with that. Even if that’s the case, don’t throw your coworkers under the bus. ***** five stars for the food tho. The bacon and ham were so good and the home fries were amazing. Decent price and quantity of food. Note - they are cash only but do have a cash machine in the restaurant.

This is a local favourite so I thought I would try it out. Food was average for bacon and eggs. I asked for rye, no butter, got brown, buttered. No biggie. It was the service that bothered me. I am not sure if it because we weren’t regulars, but we were waved to a table when we came in, it took some time to drinks, questions were answered with ‘ya’. We had 2 people serving us, neither smiled, or provided more than a one-word answer. It wasn’t an inviting atmosphere in my opinion. The reason for the 3 star for atmosphere- cute place, fits the barn decor but the cowbell on the door was loud every time someone went in and out. This may not bother some people, but for those with any audio sensitivity, or prefer conversation during breakfast, don’t sit near the door.

Breakfast Barn is my favourite joint in town. My spouse and I decided to try someplace new for brunch. Despite today's snow storms, their cozy little ”barn” was open for ready-to-serve. Our waitress was great and very attentive. That said, be aware that you pay for coffee refills (it says so on the menu, but I missed that part). I ordered my eggs over easy, and they cooked them to perfection. The bacon was thick, the breakfast sausage was some of the best we ever had, and the potatoes served with onions hit the spot. Props to the chef, she seemed sweet, and you could tell she cooked with love. 10/10 would recommend Breakfast Barn!

What a great addition to Port Colborne! In the past I’ve tried both the sweet and savory pies from The Pie Guys, and they were absolutely delicious, hearty and satisfying. Their new location on West Street is bright, airy, chic, and charming. The lunch menu offers plenty of tempting options—my friend had the lobster grilled cheese, which featured generous chunks of lobster, while I had the chicken and Brie flatbread. It was a great portion and tasted fantastic. Their dessert selection is incredible, and they offer a wide variety of teas, lattes, and now alcoholic beverages. I can’t wait to return and check out some of their summer events!

It was like being in a big city urban café without the hustle and bustle of the big city. The lighting was slightly dim, making for a relaxing and intimate venue. They played calming music loud enough to fill silence but quiet enough to hear anyone you need to. They have large tinted windows that open up to the canal and bridge. They also have art and detailing on the walls for the seats that don't have eat widow acess. There is a great balance between natural and artificial light. I can only imagine the venue during nighttime. When we entered, my mother and I were greeted before we could find the owner of the voice. The personable worker, Ms. Lauren politely greeted us and assisted us in making our choice of what to get there. She told us that they usually sell out of sweets at 12:00 pm, so it's best to get there early! Even when the place was starting to get busy, Ms. Lauren was still polite with us and still managed to cater to the other patrons' needs as well. I ordered a blackforest mini cheesecake and a hot chocolate (see photo). Now, I've always been hesitant to try cheesecake, but the presentation was so good I had to give it a go, and I am glad I did. I took a bite and instantly fell in love with the creamy cheesecake. They also had a nice crumble base supporting it, which balanced out the rich and creamy cheesecake. The whipped cream/mouse on top was delectable with the cherry jam in the middle. In fact, the mini cheese cake was so good that the hot chocolate didn't taste as good immediately after having a bite of the mini blackforest cheesecake. However, after sipping on the hot chocolate for a few seconds, the rich dark taste pleasantly filled my senses. Later on, my mother was checking out the front cash, and Ms. Lauren had just found more of the black forest mini cheesecakes in the back. My mom had expressed how she actually wanted to order a black forest cheesecake, but let me have it (thank you, Mom). Ms. Lauren asked if she wanted one, and my mother decided to get her purse. However, Ms. Lauren gave it to her on the house since that was what Mom really wanted. As we were preparing to leave, a few more workers appeared, and they were patient with me as I took the photos you see here. I'd recommend this as a nice place to meet up with a couple of friends or a date. Overall, I believe the venue/ambiance is the best part of this place, while the customer service and food are closely followed.

Stopped in at The Pie Guys Bakery & Cafe in Port Colborne and was blown away by the food. The beef sliders were juicy and flavorful, the house salad fresh and crisp, and the Brie and pear flatbread was the perfect mix of savory and sweet. Everything was beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious — a spot well worth visiting!

Our first time here and the dessert is so good! Had the coconut cream tart and the flakie. Both were so fresh, creamy and delicious. Will definitely return.

The food was nice but expensive, £20 dollars for a pie. The staff were welcoming and polite, but it did take a long time from ordering to receiving our food. The atmosphere was pleasant we sat outside to enjoy the views.

Is there anything better when someone else is making Thanksgiving dinner for you. First time at Pie Guys and it definitely didn't disappoint. The Thanksgiving dinner was great. Love their wine selection named after their dogs. The thing that stood out for me the most was when owners of a business take pride and they go around to each table and say hello. That definitely tells you everything in my opinion. Can't to return for brunch. Cheers!

Beautiful bakery and Café, plenty of seating inside and out. Great atmosphere. I had an apple danish and a latte, it was amazing. We also purchased some soup, quiche and pies to take with us.

If you're in Port Colborne and craving a delicious meal, Christopher's Pizza is definitely worth a visit. Many first-time diners rave about the fantastic wings and the pizza crust, which strikes the perfect balance between crunchy and chewy. While some have noted that certain wings can be on the smaller side, they still appreciate the well-cooked options available. Families love ordering for special occasions; kids can't get enough of their cheesy pizzas topped with flavorful sauce.
I have been on a search to find the perfect wings in our area and I think I’ve found them here! They were perfectly cooked; at other places I ask for wings crispy and they never are…. Here they were better than I could’ve asked for! The pizza is also great!

Christophers Pizza is the best pizza shop in Port Colborne. No matter who’s working the staff are always friendly. Excellent service. I'd recommend ordering your pie well done. Thanks guys keep up the great work.

Great pizza. It's our first time going to Christopher's. Will definitely be back!!! Crust is perfect, Sauce is tasty, good toppings. Best pizza I've had since Joey's.
Linda — Google review
Pizza is amazing! Wings are the smallest and worst. For over $1 per wing I would be embarrassed to sell these to customers. I will always come back for more pizza but I will never consider wings again. Afterall, it is called Christophers Pizza, not Wings :)
Jason M — Google review
Ordered to my work for dinner, Was the 1st time ordering here as im not from port, wings were fantastic The crust on the pizza was my favorite With nice crunch and abit chewy from a perfect cook (well done) but found it very very salty, not sure if its the cheese or crust. Will Order again though Only other complaint would be some wings were tiny like half was missing and others good size. We asked for well done crispy and thats exactly what we got. It was very good so dont let this mislead you But if your sensitive to alot of salt then might not like it.
Matt T — Google review
Good pizza, but I'm not sure about a "taste". I think it's either the cheese or the sauce. Something leaves an odd aftertaste.

Grabbed some trays for my kids birthday today at the Y. The kids and parents all asked where the pizza was from and said how good it was. We just got basic cheese and pepperoni and cheese. But the cheese pizzas were super cheesy, sauce was delicious as well. Can't wait to come back and try a works pizza for grownups. Thanks so much.

If you're on the hunt for a delightful dining experience, look no further than Drifters! This charming spot serves up an incredible Fish & Chips dish that features a perfectly crispy batter and light, fluffy fish. The generous portion of fries complements the meal beautifully. Diners rave about the unique dill-infused batter that elevates the flavor profile to new heights. Plus, if you visit midweek, you can take advantage of some great wing deals!
Incredible meal today at Drifters! The Fish & Chips were amazing, Crispy batter and light and fluffy fish. A generous portion of fries, and amazing service! Not a terrible price for 2 people either. We will definitely be back!

Me and my husband went for dinner on Tuesday, and we had such an amazing experience! We usually go to the Belmont, but since they're closed Tuesday's we decided to give Drifters a try and we were not disappointed. We got their broasted chicken and it was very good. Our server was very very sweet and did an amazing job, she made us feel very welcomed and made our experience even better. I believe her name was Arielle. 10/10 would recommend drifters to the community. :)

Kicked me out for having a service dog. A legitimate German Sheppard service dog for my heart condition. Staff was very rude. Awful place.
Novak — Google review
A few months ago we had our last meal at Drifters. Sadly, we had poor service, soggy sandwich, greasy wings and pale fries. The beer was good but it took the waitress awhile to bring them as she was too busy chatting with someone at the bar (while we saw our beers waiting for us from afar).
Mel S — Google review
Lately everytime we call for takeout it takes 10-30 minutes longer than stated. At this point we've started showing up about 10 minutes past. The last time we went it was 15 minutes of standing there waiting for 2 lbs of wings, then when we got them home they were burnt and awful.

Terrible food and even worse service. If I could give 0 stars I would. Honestly disgusting soggy food and the inside was even worse then the food lol. But to top it all off the waitress was the worse part, how can you be so ignorant and provide a service like that? The lady that sereved us was absolutely rude and ignorant the whole time. Nestled in the heart of Port Colborne, Lucky Thai Restaurant is a delightful destination for those craving authentic Thai cuisine. This charming eatery offers a menu brimming with mouth-watering dishes, all crafted from fresh ingredients that promise to tantalize your taste buds. Whether you're a fan of spicy curries or savory stir-fries, Lucky Thai Restaurant has something to satisfy every palate. The inviting atmosphere makes it an ideal spot for both casual dining and special occasions.
Our first visit to Lucky Thai, and will definitely not be the last. This small restaurant only has a few tables and all were taken when we arrived, so we just sat at the bar near the kitchen. This gave us an opportunity to interact with the staff during our stay. The service is wonderful and laid back, no rush. The food. Oh my. This place bests the few places in St Catherine’s easily. So much flavour and spice (we can handle the heat). The red curry was bursting with coconut flavour, I’d order that again and only for myself next time ;). I was digging the basil chicken dish what a unique blend of flavours. The food was so good I had to order a pad Thai to take home for lunch the next day. This place is another level. We can’t wait to visit to sit in the patio when the weather gets nicer. Overall our bill was under $100 for three dinners and three alcohol beverages. Definitely great value.

Cozy little thai restaurant run by the nicest couple. They were very friendly and provided excellent service. My spouse and I ordered from the lunch special menu and were pleasantly surprised with the generous portion sizes. It's good value for what you pay and receive, especially during lunchtime. The green curry chicken and pad thai was excellent. We loved that our meals came with a spring roll and hot & sour soup to start. The restaurant and bathrooms are kept very clean. You can see the kitchen from where you dine and see that these people take care of their space and make your food fresh by order. It's true that the indoor seating is limited, as some have pointed out in other reviews. However, if you dine in the summer, they have a cute patio with plenty of more tables.
Bev — Google review
A small restaurant inside, with a nice outdoor seating patio and open area adjacent to the parking lot. The owner is a nice man. He gave me a good tip - if you usually order Pad Thai; try their Drunken Noodles; not as sweet, more spicy. Their online orders for pick up are always ready at the time you set for pick up, and you can't beat the value. We've had Lucky Thai many times and never been disappointed. Recommended!

During my recent visit to Harvey's, I initially intended to grab a quick dinner but ended up enjoying a full meal instead. The experience was delightful! The chicken was incredibly moist, and every dish served was piping hot and bursting with flavor. To top it off, the staff provided friendly and efficient service that made me feel right at home. I can confidently say that Harvey's has become my new favorite spot—definitely worth the drive to Port Colbourne!
We stopped in for a quick bite for dinner and stayed for a full meal. What a pleasant experience. The chicken was so moist and everything in our meal was hot and sooo tasty. And the service was very friendly & efficient. This is our new favorite go to. It's worth the drive to Port Colbourne.

I give up! It wasn't perfect. Take out ribs, chicken, and wrap. The fries were undercooked. Ribs are not great. Coleslaw was off, old with no date on it. 1) Asked for the wrap without pickle twice, as the person it was for is allergic. 2)Asked 2 times for a medium chalet sauce and forgot it. Had to go back through the drive-thu. 3)The cashier stated it wasn't on the receipt, but I asked twice, and the guy took the order. Also, they don't give you a receipt until the food is handed over. 4) Huge sign stating they now serve ribs but not displayed on the order menu board. 5) If you're going to put someone in the order window, you should make sure he understands the order. What a fight just to order and then get it wrong. All for $54, no value and simply not worth it anymore. JUST WOW! Follow-up by management was poor. They just advised how they provided the med size sauce for free on my second drive- though. However, they did not address any issues with getting the order wrong, expired food, or just poor service.. Poor service from the top.
Matt S — Google review
As a regular customer here, the staff is great at this location, but unfortunately there are repeated indications that the franchise owner may be a cheapskate. They do not have any utensils, ketchup, or even napkins available in the dining room, meaning you have to bother the busy staff just to get a napkin. A side of fries I received from Swiss Chalet last week was (by far) the smallest I’ve ever seen across hundreds of Swiss Chalet orders in my life. It was less than half the normal size. Tonight, barely any bacon on the Harvey’s large bacon poutine (see photo). This is about 25% of the amount of bacon given at the Lundy’s Lane location. For 17 dollars you can at least put a normal amount of protein. To ownership: Stop skimping and start treating your loyal customers with respect. After all, we are the ones that pay your bills. PS: stop it with the fake 5* reviews also, everyone can tell they are fake.
Adam P — Google review
This may have been an off day, and I would have full on complained if I wasn't going to embarrass the person I was with. I ordered at 12:38pm today. The food was bland, the tables were dirty. My fries were literally ice cold. I had touched them and added salt and pepper to them. The guy on fries just tossed them back in the warmer and gave me a new scoop. I asked the lady at the counter "did he just toss my fries back in?" She told me he put them to the side. Doesn't matter, still gross and I'm sure someone ate my gross fries. 🤢
Rachel S — Google review
I never do this but hopefully this can be fixed. I have counted the last 7 times I’ve been to Harvey’s they have forgotten my side chipotle. I love their chipotle with the onion rings but i literally never receive it and it’s starting to make me sad lol
Olivia L — Google review
After new ownership took over the food quality has gone completely down hill. I just went in to get chicken noodle soup. I got 2 bowls of broth with chunks of dark meat/fatty bits. Not a single noodle in either bowl. I had to order and pay for buns that used to come with the soup that are rock hard and completely inedible. This is the 3rd time getting the soup like this since the ownership change. I guess it’s my fault for going back and giving it another shot.

I went through the drive-thru this evening around 5:30 PM - I ordered a chicken bowl. I drive with it and opened it in my kitchen. The amount of food and the quality of the food was absolutely awful! The rice was crispy and dried out and the portion might have reached almost half way of the bowl - this “meal” cost $11.29 - Tim Hortons is a HUGE company and makes a disgusting amount of money. Are they that greedy they can’t give a decent portion of food? WOW!

Ming's Kitchen is a hidden gem that may not look like much from the outside, but stepping inside reveals a sparkling clean environment that sets it apart from other Chinese restaurants. The kitchen is visible through plexiglass, showcasing their commitment to cleanliness. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring your dining experience is enjoyable. Each dish is made fresh to order and served piping hot, with generous portions of meat in dishes like the flavorful chicken fried rice and sweet and sour chicken.
Amazing restaurant with very kind staff. The food was made fresh to order and piping hot, the meats were delicious and had more meat than breading, which is a good sign. Flavorful chicken fried rice with actually a decent amount of chicken and veg. The combo plates offer great value. Will come again

So from the outside you might get a different impression, but upon entering the restaurant, it was probably one of the cleanest Chinese food restaurants I've been to in years! There is a view into the kitchen over the counter through plexiglass you can see attention to cleanliness continues through the kitchen. Now, to the food, clearly everyone has their own preferences when it comes to Chinese food , Chicken fried rice, Chicken chow mein, egg rolls, spring rolls, general tso, sweet and sour chicken balls and lemon chicken. Everything was absolutely perfect, cooked to perfection, great flavors, and healthy portions the size you remember from Chinese restaurants use to always be! Honestly it's super refreshing to find a takeout restaurant that still offers great quality with good portions and haven't just given in to the norm of shrinkflation like so so many other restaurants.

The food was ok at best. Nothing special. The biggest disappointment in this restaurant is the fact that they charge you at 15% Delivery charge on a dine in session… I guess the trip from the kitchen to the table is difficult. But when you go to pay they also ask for a Tip as well. Well here is a TIP. Don’t rip people off with this double tip nonsense and maybe you will fill more than one table at a time.

Fast service and delicious food!! My favourite dish is the sweet and sour pork, jar-doo chicken wings, and chicken fried rice! The wonton soup is one of the best takeout soups in Niagara and I would highly recommend Ming’s Kitchen!

Just had the S&S chicken for first time. It was fantastic! Nice and crispy and generous pieces of chicken (unlike a famous place where they are doughy with a sliver of meat).
Gord B — Google review
The general tso's chicken was raw. The chicken kabobs where very over cooked. The shrimp fried rice had 5 large shrimp on top of the dish and smelt "fishy". The chicken wings where pink as well. The beef lo mein had beef onion and fat noodles. The cheese dumplings where deep fried and made with cream cheese and onions. They tasted alright, but I didn't realise they would be deed fried. I ended up returning my order for a refund, and they didn't refund over 11 dollars for the 1/2 container of rice that was gone. Very disappointed and definitely will not go back. Very poor service after waiting over an hour. And then when returned.

Surprised at all the bad reviews, I've been coming here for years and have never had a bad experience. They're usually pretty quick all things considered and the food has always been great. I have gone to Little Caesars to get a couple of iced tea and naturally there is none in the cooler so I asked for an orange crush and there is none of that in the cooler also, I spoke to one of the girls and they told me that the owner will not replace anything in the cooler until everything in the back shelves are empty. This being said, I know the place is being sold and these owners are giving the new owners a business that they’re going to have to bring back up to par. I do not understand why they cannot supply the public with what they want. I have gone in there numerous times to sit, and the place is filthy the floors looked like they haven’t been cleaned in a month and some of the table still have food on them from the night before. Why on the owners, sister sits and has a coffee her husband .Very poor example of a Canadian business owner. I will not be going back there until after the new people take ownership. We were visiting Port Colborne area and stopped by for a meal because my daughter wanted to. I bought a glass mug for her as well but discovered it was chipped when we unpackaged it at home 3 hours away. I tried locally at different A&W locations and none of the other franchises would help and corporate headquarters seems to be hiding (no obvious phone number for customers). Upon calling this location, the franchise owner Asif answered and was a breath of fresh air. He keenly listened, apologized and enthusiastically offered to send me a defect-free mug which I received today. Asif is a high-integrity franchise owner, a step above his peers and is very customer focused. Highly recommend him because he runs his business very well.

Parkers Pub & Eatery is a fantastic spot to relax and enjoy some food and drinks. The pub offers reasonably priced meals and a great selection of beverages. The staff members are friendly, providing fast and efficient service. The atmosphere is perfect for a weekend outing, with many customers having fun nights there. Although the lighting could use improvement, it's not a major issue.
Staff are always friendly. Prices are fair. Food is always Fantastic. Always homemade soups which I love. I've never not loved one of their soups !!!

The best local watering hole in all of South Niagara and a staple in Port Colborne. Great owners and a regular go-to for us when the football season is on and a place where everyone in the neighborhood goes to often. Thanks, Tinky and Viera!

We don't eat out often ,preferring to pick up meals to eat at home. Last Friday my husband brought home the best pieces of Haddock that I have ever eaten. It was pan fried in crumbs rather than the regular old deep fried fare that you would expect. It was so good and really well priced. For $19 we had enough for a meal each. In comparison, the last time we went for burgers and fries at a west side fast food place, the bill was a whopping $38. I was stunned and will definitely NOT be going back there but count me in for more Haddock and fries from Parker

Good spot to sit and eat or drink. Alright pub food for the price and good drinks too. Staff was real nice and the atmosphere was good for a weekend get out. Only went a few times but they we're fun nights. The staff was also nice 👌👍 and service was fast and tight. Only negative would be the lighting which was off a bit and one light would flicker. Not the end of the world tho. If your in town or off a boat parkers pub is a great place to relax and take a load off.

Subway is a casual counter-service chain that specializes in customizable sandwiches and salads, catering to health-conscious diners. With locations like the one on Clarence St, patrons often rave about the friendly and efficient staff who remember previous orders and ensure each sub is crafted to perfection. The welcoming atmosphere combined with fresh ingredients makes Subway a favorite spot for many. Customers appreciate not only the delicious food but also the outstanding service that keeps them coming back for more.
Very nice, friendly young lady working Sunday September 28th and Monday September 29th at the Clarence St location. Very cheerful, remembering what I had previously ordered, and very efficient in making my subs. The subs are what they are, it's a Subway. ***It's the friendly service both days that will keep me coming back. Great job.

Ordered online and waited almost an hour for my two subs. They were all out of tomato’s and were very skimpy on the veggies on the meatball sub (see pictures)

Awful service! Girl behind the counter took a while to ask us our order as she was busy on her cell phone. U asked for 2 6" dippers. She asked if I wanted 1 12" instead and so I agreed. We were a party of 4 and two of us wanted the 6" dippers and the other 2 wanted a couple cookies. The whole time she prepped the food she had her eat bud in. Talking non stop with someone. I explained to her it wasn't what I wanted but couldn't get my point across or any acknowledgement because she was on her phone. Terrible service. No apologies nothing. Just absolute garbage service. The dipper was garbage too. Wish I had my $11 back.

Wendy's is a quick-service hamburger establishment that offers additional options like chili and baked potatoes as accompaniments. Their proficiency in accurately fulfilling orders is commendable, considering the constant hustle and bustle within the restaurant. The personnel working there are notably amiable, adding to the overall positive experience at Wendy's.

Half of the nuggets I received with my purchase, were stale and hard. The other half of my purchase was "fresh". I say purchase 2x because I'm paying customer, not a sucker. Enjoy the photo and try to raise your standards.

Myself and two friends walk into Wendy's for breakfast at 10:20. No one is in line or in the restaurant. We wait about 2 min before my one friend is served. He orders two sausage breakfast sandwiches. Then my other friend and I were told it would be a min. 3 min later my friend goes to order and was told breakfast is done for the day. We explained the three of us came in together. We explained we were kept waiting. Why serve one but not the other two. They said it takes time to change over the grill from breakfast to lunch, literally as they are making my friends breakfast Sandwhich. The worst part, the attitude from the employee. I wouldn't be writing this if it weren't for how we were made to feel. I know it's fast food and the review is pointless, but wow, God-awesful.

This store never seems to know how to make an order. After getting home we noticed that all our fries were missing from our online order. Our ceasar salad was missing croutons and cheese. We called the store back to only get a grumpy old lady on the phone practically telling us where to shove it. We have ordered from this Wendy's before and they have made mistakes. We have always been patient with them. This experience has been one of our worst out of all fast food stores in the Niagara region We will not be eating from this place anytime soon.

UPDATE: This Wendy's location continues to be the least consistent place in Port. I'm basically ordering here now to laugh at what they're handing customers. Pictures included of my 2 JBCs. (Junior Bacon Cheeseburger) Bacon is literally ONE OF THE 2 INGREDIENTS YOU LIST IN THE ACRONYM. I get this isn't a Michelin Star restaurant and Wendy's isn't exactly paying the staff the big money. But for real? I've had bigger pieces of bacon stuck in my moustache and not noticed. For the third straight take out order they forgot my large fries. At just shy of 5 bucks a pop, that's 15 bucks. Like once? Mistakes happen. But 3 times in 3 visits? I shouldn't have to check my bag before I leave. You literally pay someone to verify orders at the desk Staff can't get in restaurant orders right because they're more worried about skip/door dash orders.
T M — Google review
I still love Wendy's burgers despite way over the top mayo.service very slow ,no straws for our drinks, floor very dirty, the table that we sat at was so sticky that we couldn't put our hands down to eat. The soft drink dispenser, first 3 sections not available. Other than that it was ok. Oh, as we walked out I heard another customer complain that there was so much mayo on his burger that it was running down his arm.
Bob B — Google review
It's Wendy's so they are mostly the same except for it being a newer Wendy's it is looking run down already. Ripped seat and damaged walls. Most tables were not wiped when I went in. Front door make a loud screeching sound against the floor every time it opened crazy loud like an air horn at a hockey game. Might wanna fix that. It visibly scared people as they came in lol.

Port Colborne waterfront Patio Date of Visit: Saturday July 22 & Sept 4th, 2023 Great waterfront restaurant overlooking the harbour at Port Colborne. We have been dining on the roof top patio during the summer months. It is a beautiful spot with all of the beauty that outdoor dining should be. We had the Walleye and chips and the wall eye tacos which were both quite tasty. The walleye fish & chips is massive, and full of flavour. The atmosphere here is lovely. The Service was very good – very friendly attentive. The food was so tasty. The prices are very good and great value for your meal. There is plenty of parking, the location is a great spot to enjoy the waterfront park. We loved our visit so much – we came back again and brought our family because we liked it so much.

Our experience..opening time around noon, weekday. Beautiful patio with a great view of the marina. Inside bar setting is your standard pub with the games on, very large area, lots of seating. Our server on the patio Aug 5 was very friendly and knowledgeable, quick and efficient. We had popcorn walleye bites (best of the day), Erie smelts (very addictive, order two next time), and the dinner pan fried walleye, very soft and tender. All were very fresh seafood, walleye is a delicious fish, no bones. Crab cakes were average, good hot, not so good cold seconds. Walleye chowder was forgettable (no broth, too dry). Lots of drink options too. Prices were very affordable compared to large ON cities, and you can walk the waterfront or canal route north after your meal to burn off the calories and enjoy the view. Easy to find restaurant with a GPS, would return.

Disappointed After a Long Drive – Needs Immediate Improvement After a two-hour drive from Toronto to Port Colborne, we were looking forward to a great seafood experience. Sadly, after finding four highly rated restaurants closed on Monday July 28th, 2025, we ended up here—not by choice, but by necessity. The fish and chips combo was a letdown: soggy batter, tasteless fish, and two days old fries" pictures DO NOT Lie". As a hospitality veteran with 40 plus years of global experience, I strongly urge the owner to hire a professional consultant to assess and overhaul the restaurant’s operations before it’s too late. If you're open to serious improvement, I’d be happy to offer guidance and a roadmap to elevate your F&B standards to a level that matches the expectations of today’s diners.

Best restaurant in port!! The food was delicious and came out fast considering we went on a Saturday night. The fries were crisp and had the perfect amount of seasoning along with the incredible “rise and shine” burger which I highly recommend. The view can’t be beat inside and out with all the different decorations to look at and of course the breathtaking outdoor seating especially at sunset! Service was quick with very friendly and funny servers that seemed happy to be there. Have been a handful of time already and will 100% be returning soon!!

The view of the patio cannot be beat! We brought our German family friend so he could see a 2nd great lake and he was blown away by Eerie. We all ordered walleye and you could taste the freshness. My fish 'n chips was so fresh it had little filet bones in it which was awesome! The only thing I would like see changed, is more local beer and wine on the menu. Mill St. Organic was the most "local." Staff has done a great job featuring local fish, now it's time for the local breweries. Our server, wish I got her name, was awesome as well! Keep up the great work!

Yuck. Just left there and would never go back. Ordered the Greek salad with “chicken”. The lettuce was warm, limp and drowned in an oily dressing. The “chicken” was some weird, processed, compressed “chicken-like” substance with a disgusting, rubbery texture and weird air bubbles in it. Gross. Meat was so sketchy I was afraid to eat it — had about 3 bites and I’m already feeling sick. Steer clear. Would not recommend.

Service was horrible, food was terrible, came cold and we order two fish and chips and only got one. We waited 45 minutes to be served on a Wednesday! Short staffed, almost left until my husband flagged a server to come to our table. Two other ladies that came in after us got up and left. They had been before but were not happy. Server that was coming out occasionally to other tables ignored our table. Another couple that came in 40 minutes after us got served before our table. We went on a recommendation will not return.

On the weekend, my son wanted the BBQ chicken stuffed crust pizza for his birthday party and when it was time to pick it up, we got a phone call saying that they couldn't make it. So we tried again on Tuesday for his actual birthday dinner and it is not the same as it used to be. Super flat dough and see through, barely any cheese in the crust, and not cooked all the way as the cheese wasn't even fully melted. He does not want to go back. Huge disappointment as this pizza used to be amazing.

Absolutely terrible, will never return, Place is dive bar defiantly not the spot. Staff was unorganized and disrespectful, Food was poorly handled and slow, half the items weren't even available or not listed properly on the menu. I understand the place is going thru changes and renovations but still, your a business... you should be held accountable to the better busyness bureau. Management was disrespectful and inconsiderate, more worried about drinking with his friends or selling his side hustle then he was his employees or customers, didn't even try to accommodate me or even make things right. Absolutely waste of my time and money. I hardly write reviews but this one needed to be shared.

Went here on canada day because was one of the only places open seemed nice at first until this older woman who was there was yelling and I could barely have a conversation over her talking was also kinda dark and dingey inside, also I know most people are on vacation on canada day so there cook wasn't there it took around 30 minutes for me and my girlfriends food a burger and 6 tacos while our friends ordered and they had to watch us eat for another 15 minutes because they didnt make it all at once. The only plus side was our server was very nice to us, my buddy got a poutine from there and it hurt his stomach fries were raw, the owner offered us a meal on him if we come back but im not interested thank you for the offer

Been here for take out before - this time it was awful. Way too much gravy on the poutine and garlic bread was so hard we could barely bite through it. The marinara sauce was awful too. Way too expensive for bat food. The poutine alone is basically $20.00. Ouch.

I just ordered from the Spot through Uber for the second time. Figured I'd give it another shot since it's the only local restaurant on there. Definitely worse experience than the last which I kinda didn't think possible. I'm unsure how a sandwich so soaked in coleslaw water could actually be so completely dry once you make it thru that disgusting literal soupy sandwich core into the dryest pulled pork I've ever had I'm pretty sure a monkey could make better pulled pork like where's this sauce that's supposed to be on it because I'm pretty sure whoever cooked that pulled pork put absolutely no BBQ sauce whatsoever on it. Plus usually when I get spinach dip it comes with bread and not chips and I'm pretty sure the menu says it comes with bread but nope that's a lie because it definitely came with tortilla chips. Never again will I throw away $75 dollars on something my dog walked away from.

Wow. This was a horrible experience last night… where to start. First off waiting 45 mins for 2 subs is insane. People infront of us ordered 2 and we ordered 2 and this whole process took 45 mins for FOUR subs. She cashed them out with cash and change back than proceeds to make my subs with the same gloves… after being called out changes the gloves and still gives us the one bread that was touched.. The food toppings looked SO old (brown lettuce and tomato, shrivelled up cucumber) no pizza sauce had to get from the back in some weird small container. Gave us hardly any toppings kept having to say more and when I say hardly it was 3 olives one tomato on a large sub…. Overall this quick stop had us an hour late and with horrible subs. Also note: we both woke up with extreme tummy issues from this. Edit to response: Only one bread was changed not both for the subs after the gloves. The guests infront of us if they’re intoxicated to the point every other guest suffers perhaps new protocols for serving those guests should be in place. As for the tomato’s if you have audio you notice I have to ask multiple times as well as all the other toppings I noticed but I suppose since you did not comment on that you knew I was right for those.

Been coming here for 15 years, but when I asked for more mayonnaise today, I was told that it wasn’t allowed, that is the portion they are only allowed regularly to put on my foot long. What I always liked about Subway was building your own, little less onions, little more lettuce, or more sauce. But as things always seem to go, nothing good ever lasts. Shame on you Subway for pointing out to a customer in a crowded restaurant that you can’t put a little more mayo on your sandwich. Needless to say, I will no longer be back to this location, and would rather spend the extra money and enjoy the local restaurants in town like “Archie’s” which is far better for quality and service.

Ordered a footlong veggie sub combo. The patty was ice cold, may be not properly defrosted. It was my first time ordering at this location or may be the last as well. The manager or the owner seriously needs to look into what is being served to the customers. I had to throw the patty out, for which i paid extra, as it was not edible.
Aakash J — Google review
This is for the owner. Don't be so cheap on the veggies. I was in there buying a sub a while ago (which I don't mind paying $14-$15 bucks for.....but) I asked for onion, got a bit, asked for more....got a couple extra strands. The girl (under her breath said) "that's all in allowed to give you". I'd rather just make my own sandwich at home then beg for extra anything.

WOW. Waited 15 minutes for the staff member to finish two online orders while we waited, with no acknowledgement we were there. Then to add on, she started ANOTHER online order before she attended to us. Myself and another customer left. Honestly so ridiculous. We went to the subway on Clarence and we were out in 5 minutes. Horrible service. This happened on June 22 at 7pm, I hope the manager can piece together who was working.

Capri Sherkston - Italian Restaurant is a delightful dining destination that promises an enjoyable experience, even on rainy days. The attentive service from staff like Lindsay and Dee adds a personal touch to your visit, while Chef Chris takes pride in ensuring guests are satisfied with their meals. The atmosphere is cozy, especially on the patio where heaters and umbrellas keep everyone comfortable despite the weather. Guests rave about the delicious gnocchi and flavorful pizzas, although some prefer a thinner crust.
Had an amazing time this past Friday. Our server Lindsay was so sweet and attentive. We were greeted by Dee, who was also amazing and came to check in on us! Compliments to the chef, Chris, came out to say hello and ask how the food was - it was awesome. Cleared our dishes entirely. We tried multiple apps and we were very impressed. Even though it was rainy weather, the patio was accomodating. Umbrellas fully covered us and the owner made sure to make sure everyone was comfortable with heaters on the patio as well. A band was playing at the perfect volume, it was truly a great night overall!!!!! We'll be back asap! (we live in st. Catharines- worth the drive)

We recently visited Capri Pizzeria and Beach Bar and had a generally pleasant experience. The pizza was tasty with good flavor, though it was a bit doughy for our preference—we would have liked it either thinner or more thoroughly cooked. On the other hand, the gnocchi was absolutely perfect, and the charcuterie board was solid. Service was friendly and the atmosphere was lovely—definitely a nice spot for a relaxed evening out. However, our food took quite a while to arrive. Our server later explained that she intentionally spaced things out to give us time between courses, which we appreciated in theory, but with two babies, a 4-year-old, and a toddler in tow, some advance communication would’ve helped us plan better and avoid the almost hour wait for the kids’ food. One practical note: the high chair didn’t have any straps, which meant we had to constantly adjust and keep a close eye on the baby. Overall, I’d recommend this spot for a date night or a relaxed evening with adults—great ambiance and some standout dishes. If you’re dining with young kids, just be sure to ask about timing and come prepared

My wife and I went to the Capri for our anniversary as we had heard good things about the food being excellent so we thought we would try it! Previously it had been a pizza place and then a beachy bar with hotdogs, burgers, and basic pub food. We were aware on Capri's opening that it was a little pricey at 25 to 35 dollar plates as well as starters for 15 to 20. We also heard that the Italian dishes were excellent and that is certainly true. So we made a reso for 7 pm in the inside seating area in case of bad weather or even heat as it was through those 35 degree heat days and had it confirmed by email. When we arrived they didn't have the reservation ... I showed them the email and they seated us inside. The inside area consists of a long bar area and 5 or 6 tables. It would probably seat 20 people? It was quite nice but a little dark so we asked for if there was a table outside we would love to be outside ... it was a beautiful night ... they were very accommodating and we waited just a few minutes and we were seated outside. We enjoyed a drink and some garlic bread at our table and were prepared for just an enjoyable, leisurely experience and looked forward to our traditional Italy food experience. We had seen a sound board in the corner of the patio when we arrived and assumed there would be a dj or a one man band and looked forward to that experience as well. Just before our food arrived the dj announced it was time for karaoke! We were surprised the participants were mainly kids which although cute were not necessarily what we expected out of our night ... we enjoyed our dinner and were even pleasantly surprised at a complimentary slice of blueberry cheesecake for our anniversary. Our bill was somewhere around $190 with tip. So if you go for the food it is great Italian and the pizzas looked good too. Note to management though. If you are going to have a menu with 30 dollar plates pls make those patrons aware that there are special nights when they could be serenaded! There may be some people that would not appreciate that atmosphere.

We had a reservation in off season for 6pm. We ordered right away for our children knowing they had to eat first. We kept asking for meal updates after 1 hour of waiting and just kept being told we had to wait for fries. After 1.5 hours waiting the 2 moms in our group had to leave without getting our meals.as it was well beyond bed time. Meanwhile we watched as 2 other tables got to eat before us. Despite not eating our husbands then waited 20 more minutes to bring everyone home cold take out after 2 hours. Restaurant did not take even a dollar off a 300 meal. BRUTAL do not go here with kids or otherwise

We loved our meal at Capri ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Thanks, Chad, for the great service! From Mike and Chloe The Capri never disappoints! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and prompt service. The extensive menu has something for everyone, and every dish we tried was absolutely delicious. The portions are generous, and the flavors are spot on. Whether you're there for a special occasion or just a casual meal, Capri offers an exceptional dining experience. Highly recommend! We enjoyed eggplant parm, salmon, calamari, and side salad.

My husband and I went to Capri last night for our anniversary. It was the day after labour day so very quiet. We were the only table inside and there was maybe 1 or 2 tables outside. The service was fantastic. We had our server keeping an eye on us but a couple times she'd be outside at the other tables and another server that was finishing up her shift there overheard us say something to each other and she'd take care of it right away despite us not being her table and her being on her way out. We had the caprese salad and calamari for appetizers, and then the capelli con pollo and veal parm for our mains, plus a cheesecake for dessert. Everything was delicious. We saw a couple of pizzas go out and those also looked awesome too. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone and we will certainly be back as well!

Breakfast restaurant
Tim Hortons is a renowned Canadian chain that offers premium-blend coffee, as well as light fare, pastries, and breakfast sandwiches. The customer service at their store on February 20th, 2023 at 3:30 pm was exceptional. Two young girls who served in the in-store area provided friendly and attentive service to all customers. They even went the extra mile by delivering coffee directly to an elderly couple's table.
I had a three hour drive after the NHL game in Buffalo and decided to stop at a TIMS to get a late night coffee. Melissa’s friendly voice greeted my friend and I thru the speaker. At the window, her smile matched the positivity we experienced when we ordered. She represented your company very well! If I am ever in that area again, I definitely would stop in!
JES J — Google review
I’m honestly beyond annoyed right now. I went out of my way to stop at Tim Hortons and ordered something ridiculously simple — a Simply Sausage. The name says it all. I didn’t ask for fancy. I didn’t ask for egg. I didn’t even ask for cheese. I wanted exactly what was advertised: sausage. That’s it. Instead, what do I get? A sandwich with egg slapped in it like nobody bothered to read the order. How hard is it to follow basic instructions? It’s not rocket science. If I wanted egg, I would’ve said so. But I didn’t. So not only did I pay for something I didn’t ask for, I also didn’t even get what I actually wanted. And by the time I noticed, I was already on the road — so now I’m stuck with a gross, soggy breakfast that I’m not eating. This kind of careless service is exactly why people stop going to places. It shows a complete lack of attention and respect for customers. It’s not even about the money — it’s the principle. If you’re going to offer a specific menu item, train your staff to actually read what’s ordered and make it right. Do better. Because this was ridiculous.

What's in a triple triple? Cause I just cream. I didn't rush anyone, paid in full, and didn't get what I paid for. EVERY customer should be getting a customer survey, on every purchase, not just when they have to prop up their numbers.

Editing this review to mention that management reached out to apologize and also inquire about my long wait in the drive through for my coffee. As a business owner I understand that sometimes things go wrong in your day to day operations and that reaching out to find out how you can do better in the future is imperative. I appreciate this and I will give them another try next time I am in the area. Zero stars 14 minutes in drive through for one coffee!! Ridiculous
Victoria G — Google review
I had a very disappointing experience at this location. I come here every single day, at least once or twice, and have always been a loyal customer. This morning, I went through the drive-thru and ordered a coffee and bagel. When I pulled up to the window, I realized I had forgotten my wallet. I politely explained to the staff member that I would be back shortly to pay and pick up my order. Before I could even finish, the manager came to the window and spoke to me very rudely, as if I was asking for free food — which I never did. I clearly said I would be coming back with my wallet. The way the situation was handled was unprofessional, unnecessary, and very disappointing, especially considering how often I support this location. I understand mistakes happen, but treating a loyal, paying customer with disrespect is unacceptable. I hope management addresses this issue and improves their customer service.

I stop by here often and even when there's an issue, it's always handled very well. Just please make sure you know the difference between chipotle sauce and habanero. I lost my breakfast after I realized too late that the spice was A LOT more than I anticipated

I wish I could give this place zero stars. I am absolutely disgusted with this place. I got a classic lemonade yesterday, and it was full of bugs. Fruit flies and a worm. The worm was alive. I am so grossed out I am never going back again. That is so unsanitary. (Not all bugs shown in the picture)

I am a novice customer at Mulberry's and the food I ordered was delicious. My order consisted of two Panzerottis which were supposed to be ready by 6:10pm, but they were not prepared when I arrived. However, the staff member at the front desk was friendly and informed me that it would only take an additional five minutes.
A special item that Mulberry's creates is their version of a Panzerotti. They fold over a pizza and bake it in the oven. Then they put cheese on it. It tastes even better than it looks. Very reasonably priced and it comes with a side of sauce for dipping. My suggestion is to request 2 containers of sauce. It is amazing also. This one had 4 items, was under $15 and came packed in a pizza box. Like a work of art from a small town pizza artisan.

Always delicious food and huge servings at a very low price! The steak Stromboli is by far my fav on the menu. So much steak and cheese wrapped in an amazing dough 🤤. The spagetti and meatballs never disappoints either! The house sauce and home made meat balls are delicious! Highly recommend

For the last year or so, my soon to be sister-in-law has been telling me all about the subs from here “being THE best”. Well, last night during a girls night, I finally went in with her to order some to go… and let me tell you, she was not exaggerating! First of all, everything about them were so fresh and simply delicious. Great portions and pricing. It’s also such an absolutely adorable spot and the owner was super sweet! Anyway, fast forward to this evening, now my fiancé also won’t stop raving about them too and how badly he wants their subs again tonight! 🤣 (Ps. We had meatball and assorted subs with hot peppers which were to die for!!). Needless to say we cannot wait to order from here again! ☺️

We got the strombolis from here and I cannot believe how massive and heavy these things are. They were so good and only $14 each. One is the steak and cheese the other is chicken parm. Also comes with 2 dips each. They also have pizza slices 2 for $2.50. Well worth the drive!

The Backroad Barbecue Company offers exceptional food and service. The brisket sandwich is packed with tender meat, complemented by a fresh bun, arugula, and tasty sauce. It's not overly filled, ensuring an enjoyable eating experience. The staff goes above and beyond to check on customers' satisfaction. Orders are promptly served warm and fresh within minutes of placing them. While it may not be the most affordable option, the quality justifies the price.
We hired Backroad BBQ to cater our wedding a few weeks ago and had been customers of theirs beforehand! The food is always so amazing and a crowd favourite! Our guests were commenting all night how it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding and the service was great. We had the absolute pleasure of working with Brenda who was our lead for catering for our wedding. Brenda was so amazing to work with, attentive, organized, and great at communicating! From the planning calls, to taking and submitting orders, to liaising with our vendors for apps, desserts, and linens, to picking up the desserts and apps the day of the wedding for us, to putting on an amazing dessert display, and setting up the beautiful tableware, Brenda made the experience so smooth and stress free for us! We were in such good hands with her. Backroad is so lucky to have her as part of their team and she takes such great care of her couples! Thank you Brenda!!!

Stopped by Backroad Barbecue Company in Port Colborne with high hopes for some classic smoked comfort food. I went all in with the full rack of ribs, and while the BBQ sauce hit the mark with its tangy, smoky flavour, the ribs themselves didn’t quite deliver — a bit too tough and overcooked for my liking. I was hoping for fall-off-the-bone tender, but they leaned more toward chewy. My wife ordered the two-meat combo with brisket and fried chicken, and both were just… okay. The brisket lacked the melt-in-your-mouth texture we were expecting, and the fried chicken didn’t really stand out — not bad, just kind of average. The sauces were solid, but they couldn’t quite make up for the lack of tenderness and excitement on the plate. It’s a cool little spot with a great concept and a lot of potential — but based on this visit, the flavours need a bit more attention to match the inviting atmosphere.

We hired Backroad BBQ for our wedding and it was outstanding! Great communication and prompt responses from Anthony, and the food was delivered slightly ahead of schedule, which we appreciated. The mac and cheese addition to our menu was a hit. Both the chicken and beef brisket were amazing! If you are looking for a company for a large event, we can't recommend them enough (we had dinner for 125 people). Our guests loved it!

All around 5 stars for back road bbq. The head chef is phenomenal at what he does and his hospitality was a great touch. Giving me and my buisness partner samples of the pulled pork before we got our food because he was busy. Food was fantastic. Cannot recommend enough.

So we had this food at a fair, not going to rate the atmosphere. Make what that as you will. However, i thought southern bbq inspired would mean they smoked their meats. Far off from that. Ribs were okay, maybe a flavor of smoke when they sauced them from the BBQ top. Ribs were braised a little to long, they were too fall off the bone for my taste. Also had a brisket sandwich, by the look of the meat it had zero smoke ring so most likely done in the oven and we had a little debate if it truly was brisket they served, the sandwich meat ill call it was not tender at all, was a little tough. Mac and cheese was decent again not would i would expect from a bbq place. If you're looking for southern bbq this would be my choice. I also dont have photos of it because it wasn't overwhelmingly photo worthy.

Not only did they do a phenomenal job serving everyone, but they were happy to be doing it and that really made our night! The food was awesome, warm and plenty to go around! Everyone loved the food. They also went above and beyond to pack up all the food to make sure none of it was wasted! Ryan was our bartender and he was also happy to be there which was awesome to see! Nestled in a gas station, Flavor Town is a hidden culinary gem that has quickly become the talk of the town. The welcoming owners have transformed this spot into a vibrant eatery where flavor reigns supreme. Diners rave about their delicious offerings, including the popular samosas served with a rich chickpea curry gravy and an array of mouthwatering dishes like Dal Tarka, which boasts smoky roasted garlic notes and buttery goodness.
There’s been a lot of talk about this gem in the gas station and they were right! We ordered the large butter chicken, chicken shawarma plate and of course the highly talked about 10 for $5 samosas. Everything was ready extremely quick and when we got in the truck we couldn’t resist trying a samosa, needless to say all 10 were gone before we got to our driveway. The butter chicken and chicken shawarma were both incredible, perfect amount of chicken to rice ratio and lots of flavour. We will definitely be back here to try other items!

The owners are friendly and fantastic people. The renovations look great!! The food is full of flavour! I purchased Samsoa Chat twice now and have consistently received two large, well cooked, tasty samosas covered in a beautifully spiced chickpea curry gravy, aka Chana Masala. Their mini samosas are a delight! On another date, I purchased Dal Tarka, Shahir paneer, and mini samosas. All three were delicious. The Dal tarka was smokey, (roasted garlic!), buttery, and full-bodied. The shahi paneer was thick, rich, and the homemade paneer amazing! You gotta come try this place. Thanks for the great food, guys. Keep it up!

Saw the great reviews so decided to try for myself. Checks out. The food was amazing (beef samosas +tandoori). I came in to pick up my take out order and was offered to sample every other dish for free while I was waiting for a naan bread I had added to my order. The nicest guys. Everything was delicious. I’ll definitely be back.

We've picked up from Flavor Town twice now and it has been fabulous! Tonight, hubby decided we would have a Flavor Town buffet for his birthday, so we ordered a bunch of items. From their Broasted Chicken and wedges (Best in Niagara, btw) to the Pakora, Butter Chicken, Samosas and Shwarma... Every single item is absolutely perfect! There's something there for everyone and everyone's palate. Different spice levels and flavour throughout! Pricing is far more than fair. I think they are even underpriced for the quality and amount of food you get! Do yourself a favour and check out Flavor Town at the corner of Elm and Main in Port Colborne. You can order online through their website, call or go on in. The service is spectacular, the place is clean and the smells are enchanting!

Flavour Town truly lives up to its name! I tried their chicken shawarma plate, and it was absolutely incredible. The chicken was perfectly seasoned, tender, and full of flavor, while the sides complemented it beautifully. The hummus was creamy, the rice was fluffy, and the fresh veggies added the perfect crunch. The portion size was generous, and every bite felt like a burst of deliciousness. On top of the amazing food, the service was friendly and efficient, making the whole experience even better. If you're a fan of shawarma, you must try Flavour Town—you won't regret it!

It has been the best working just down the street from here for the last 6 months as I can always count on an incredible meal & the most friendly service. Everything they make is incredible. I have tried almost all the items on the menu and it is hard for me to choose a favourite however the butter chicken & chicken malai are so delicious, they are often my first choices. The best samosas. The lamb chops.. so good. Lots of incredible, authentic, healthy, selections to choose from and you will always leave with a smile on your face from the friendliest service around. They will also let you taste before you buy to make sure you are happy with your choice. I am sad to be moving work locations and am really missing eating this every week but when I'm in Port Colborne it is always my #1.

$13 for this chicken Reg pita? It's the same size as my water bottle. I got a dusting of toppings. I had to ask 3 times for more sprouts. I asked for tzatziki sauce, the server used a squirt bottle when a spatula is used. I question the server and reassured mean yes it is tzatziki, I took a bite and I got ranch lol. I just wanted a pita. Do not go to this location. I have had zero problems with other locations but only this one. Extremely stingy on the toppings as you can see.

We went for breakfast this morning and Skye was our server. She was extremely attentive and kind, constantly checking in to see how we were doing. I really wanted to like this place as we've visited here several times because for the most part the food and menu is good. Every time we dine here however the service is very slow 45+ minutes for breakfast food is pretty sad. We came on a weekday thinking it would be better, definitely less busy but the wait times still awful, and when the good came out it was luke warm not hot and my sisters dish was old tasting and she couldn't finish it. The pizza was great, however the chicken bites were covered in some sort of white sauce (which was not what we ordered and made them super soggy), and my husband and I were the only ones who ate the Caesar salad in our family and we ended up getting extremely sick because of it. I’ve never spent so much time in the bathroom after eating out….. I’d recommend the pizza, but not the other items I ordered.

I've tried other pizzas in town, but this is my favorite.

I have ordered several times from this pizza hut. the last 3 times have progressively been worse. This last order was 14 wings in medium buffalo sauce. The wings were very soggy and drenched in a watered down hot sauce. I also ordered cheesy pull apart bread. It wasn't even fully cooked. the cheese was even hard is spots. Very disappointed with any so called quality. For the expensive price of this food it should come perfectly well done and not watered down. Never ordering food from the port colborne pizza hut again. I caution everyone. This business will not last long in a town with several pizza and wings places.

Staff lies saying items are ready, take your money and make up wait. Cinnamon buns weren't even cooked

If you're on the hunt for an exceptional pizza experience in the Niagara Region, look no further than Santoro Pizza in Port Colborne. This local gem has quickly become a favorite among pizza lovers, thanks to its fresh ingredients and high-quality toppings that create a flavor explosion with every bite. The dough is particularly noteworthy, boasting a delightful hint of sweetness that keeps patrons coming back for more.
Excellent pizza and wings!! And the consistency is amazing!! Never disappointed and always delicious!! The bag that had the wings had "thank you" written on it tonight....it definitely made us feel appreciated as a regular customer over the past few months 😀

Pizza Review Joe recommended Santoro and I was not disappointed! Great service, great slice and I love the added touch of using 2 paper plates on the slice for flavour and heat protection! I can only imagine how great a whole pie will taste and for that reason...I'll be back! :)

Got take out for lunch. We ordered a tray for the guys building our house, and a pie for ourselves. The guys really like the tray and we enjoyed the pie with the cup and char. It’s as close to Buffalo style pizza as I’ve had on this side of the River. Nice people, easy location, will go back.

Santoro Pizza in Port Colborne is simply the best! We've ordered from them twice now, and each time the pizza and wings have been amazing. The Hawaiian pizza is a standout, packed with flavor and perfectly cooked. We also tried the mild and honey garlic wings, both of which were a hit. Highly recommend Santoro Pizza for anyone in the area looking for delicious food and great service!

Pizza is authentic. New York style fabulous!! Can't say much about the atmosphere because I didn't eat in. I had takeout but it looks nice from the outside haha. Staff was super friendly and helpful on the phone 📱 Will be ordering more this weekend 😋

I really really wanted to love the food! I was so excited to try the pizza. Me and my kids had just moved down here from the big city and we were looking for a good pizza joint. I’ve heard amazing reviews about this place so I wanted to check it out. The service was absolutely amazing. Everybody was so friendly. However, when I came, they only had one flavour of pizza still which OK totally understandable is probably the end of the day. It was 6 PM. So we got the slices ? 4 in total . When we got them home to eat them, it was almost like the crust was very very chewy, but the pizza slice dough was soggy, and the toppings were extremely dry so I don’t know how long that pizza was out. I could tell the pizza was not fresh at all. Maybe we just came at an off day . But the staff and the service was absolutely amazing. I can’t say enough better things about them.

Cozy inside, very friendly staff. Pizza was all I ever wanted out of a few slices after a long day of driving. Taste was amazing and the words from my wife “this tastes like real pizza and the crust is amazing”. Couldn’t agree more.

Wow! What can I say about this pizza? It was absolutely DELICIOUS! I am quite the pizza connoisseur and this is in my top 5 favourite pizza joints. I am visiting from out of town and my family and I were seeking out a highly rated pizza place. Santoro did NOT disappoint. Their pepperoni pizza was full of flavour. The crust was 10/10. Please visit this place! It is so worth it.

If you're on the hunt for a delightful pizza experience, look no further than Pizza Pizza! This gem offers an array of mouthwatering options, from their freshly made funnel cake drizzled with sugar and cinnamon to a cheesy garlic bread that’s simply irresistible. The staff at this location are known for their warmth and friendliness, making every visit feel special. Many loyal customers rave about the incredible flavors crafted by skilled chefs who pour love into each dish.
The pizzas here are nothing short of excellent. The ingredients taste fresh, the crust is baked to perfection, and the flavors are well-balanced. What truly stands out is their stuffed crust pizza – it’s hands down the best I’ve had. The cheesy, flavorful crust adds that extra indulgent touch that keeps me coming back. Whether you’re going for a classic Margherita or something more loaded, they get it right every time. The atmosphere is decent – nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable. It’s a simple setup that works for casual dining or takeout. Don’t expect a fine dining vibe, but it's good enough for a relaxed meal with friends or family. The staff is polite and the service is prompt. Orders are usually served quickly, and the team is responsive to customization requests.

2nd review: Sorry but i have to change my review. I went back a few times and the quality was good but you are only as good as your last sale. This pizza was filled with bubbles and burned and ugly like someone with big boils. Dont forget that when it comes to food preparation its all about 1. Preparation and 2. Presentation. And the worst part is that when i called to make the complaint they had me holding for a long time and the music belongs to the funeral home. Terrible. review: Bought a slice of cheese 🧀 pizza and it was awesome. Lots of cheese and soft dough. I was impressed. It may easily become my go to place for pizza 🍕. Keep up the standard.
Willy-a E — Google review
Terrible, I ordered delivery and the drive put the tip in himself for the pizza 1. Isn’t the tip optional (I always tip) 2. Pizza pizza adding their own tip, very cringe 3. That should not be a way to train your employees, I almost brought it up, I should have. I asked for my receipt because the delivery driver was acting suspicious and I noticed the amount charged was way over the price I thought I was paying on the 1 large pizza I bought. Saw the receipt (after I asked) and noticed he tipped himself 25% of the order… 1 star review, what kind of practice is that?

Ordered at store. When I opened it was terrible and the cheese was not melted properly and the crust was too hard. Less toppings. Very disappointing.
Navpreet K — Google review
Ordered via online and received a pizza missing some toppings, called the customer service line which was a nightmare (corporate), however did finally get a hold of someone who offered to make it right with a new pizza - Store employees were great, they even apologized for the mixup. Pizza was amazing!

Second time going. Had to update my reivew. I jad the nacho cheese fries. It has crispy onions on it, OMG! Found this new poutine place while visiting for Canal Days. Biggest poutine I've ever seen. Defiantly for sharing. Can't wait to go back and try more things.

Me and my boyfriend have gone here a few times since they’ve been open. The food is always hot and delicious. The gravy is excellent. There’s always a perfect amount of cheese curds. The owner is such a nice gentleman. Great place, love it here!! Also great prices as well:)
Kaitlyn S — Google review
While the restaurant was minimistic inside, the poutine was delicious. My first time there, just had plain, and the portion was large with lots of gravy and curds. I would definitely recommend. I will be going back to try some of their many options.
Linda W — Google review
Ordered a brisket poutine and it was absolutely fantastic. Fries are fresh cut the gravy is flavourful and the brisket ia tender chunks of delicious beef! Absolutely made from scratch. Soooo good! Absolutely recommend. And I will be back many times

First time here and I'm not disappointed. Good food and fast service. I have the stake poutine was delicious 😋
Elizabeth D — Google review
I was excited to try for the first time but opon walking out and seeing how the food was prepared I will definitely NOT be going back . I think this places reviews stem from the owners personal friends or something vouching this location and it's over rating it because it's not that up to par as these reviews make it sound . Port Colborne has MUCH better little spots to enjoy compared to just a Poutine! Walk around that town there's better places trust me 🤦🏻‍♀️
Linda J — Google review
Best poutine in the City! Great portions , real curds and not overpriced. Staff is also extremely friendly.
Christine W — Google review
We got regular poutines and they were okay. We found there wasn't nearly enough gravy and our fries past the first layer were absolutely dry and bland. We also got chicken fingers and they were great. The owner is super nice however and the environment was very inviting!
