Normally Monday's are hard to find somewhere to celebrate a birthday as most places are closed. So it was a blessing that they were open and ready. Opening on a Monday also means that there weren't a lot of people, so we probably got a more personalized experience with little to no delays. We weren't sure of what to expect so we got the servers recommendations. I had the lamb and my birthday date had the pork chop. The lamb was cooked perfectly medium-well as I requested, the veggies were cooked yet crunchy and the mash was creamy and smooth. Tamarind wine sauce was just succulent. My date loved the pork chop, it was fully cooked and juicy. She wasn't a fan of the large cut veggies, but she loved the roasted cassava and whatever white sauce they added. We weren't in a alcohol mood so we got 2 virgin passion fruit & lychee mojitos. They were sweet and tangy. We still had some room after dinner so we got the house recommended dessert, passion fruit cheesecake with berries. We were amazed at how delicious this was and loved it. All in all, I will definitely be back for a full dinner course sometime soon.

The experience was a letdown from start to finish. This spot sits on a lively strip with plenty of solid options, and we chose it because it looked slightly less busy, which turned out to be the warning we missed. Staff were curt and disengaged, bordering on rude, and service felt like an afterthought. Four cocktails took more than 40 minutes to arrive. When they finally showed up, they came in plastic cups because last call was announced after we had already ordered. The drinks were mediocre and overpriced. The bill arrived long before the cocktails. The bar was far from full, there were plenty of staff standing around, and the level of attention would be unacceptable even at a fast-food counter. Save your time and money and pick literally anywhere else on this strip; this place has earned a hard pass. TL;DR: Overpriced, mediocre drinks, dismal service. Choose another venue on the strip.
Coach B — Google review
I went with a party of 12 for their pre fixe Christmas dinner. Service was great, waiters and waitresses were kind, could be a little more attentive in some instances. The alcoholic drinks were good, but one person ordered the passion fruit juice and it tasted like flavoured water. The sorrel spritzer that came with the menu, also was also water down. Couldn’t taste the sorrel nor the alcohol that was in it, too much ice. The food was okay, to start I had the salad which tasted great with the candied dates and walnuts but the other appetizers like the chicken liver pate - did not taste anything like liver and the green pea lentil soup - was too thick and a bit cold when served. The main that I had was the brown sugar glazed ham and potatoes au gratin with vegetables. Ham and potatoes were perfect but the veggies were very undercooked, including the zucchini, broccolini and peppers - maybe this was the idea for it but it didn’t pair well with the other items on the plate. Dessert was as expected, perfect end of the dinner. I got the chocolate mousse with buttercream. (I think it was butter scotch? I can’t remember) I also had an amaretto sour which was mixed well, drank that throughout my meal. 8/10 recommend for the Christmas menu, cannot comment on their regular menu items.

Talk about up to the times with the decor! Chaud Cafe had the scene set for the holiday with themed drinks and menu items to match. Even the washrooms, pristine and ckassy, were a vibe. Staff were so eager to please there were a few crossed lines but ultimately sorted quickly. We weren't able to enjoy the wide outside deck but they even maneuvered the inside space, made cosy due to rainy weather and a healthy number of diners. I loved that the menu was full of Caribbean flavours and favs and dishes did not take forever to arrive. A lottle pricy but altogether a lovely experience.
Lucian F — Google review
The food at Chaud is always amazing, and the portion sizes are more than adequate. I would highly recommend the pasta as well as the wings, which paired superbly with the blue cheese. There is also a decent drinks selection. However, desserts are a bit limited.
Paul B — Google review
Celebrated my friends bday here. Our entrees were plentiful & delicious. A few times, we had to get the attention of the wait staff or make a request for the same thing more than once. Overall, I would definitely recommend it.

Friendly (but slow) service and good ambience. However, almost everyone's food arrived cold and everything tasted average. The chocolate cake is supposed to be excellent, but it wasn't available that day.

Italian restaurant
Buzo Osteria Italiana, located in the Port of Spain in Trinidad, offers a delectable selection of Italian dishes and even provides vegan-friendly options. The restaurant boasts a cozy and romantic ambiance, making it perfect for an intimate dining experience. The staff is known for their exceptional politeness, attentiveness, and extensive knowledge about the menu offerings. Additionally, Buzo now offers delivery services with added perks such as free cake and a drink with every pizza takeout order.
It was truly an exceptional dining experience! The food is absolutely delicious, with authentic flavors that make every bite unforgettable. Their pizzas are a standout, perfectly thin crust, fresh toppings, and bursting with flavor. Whether you’re a fan of classic Margherita or something more adventurous. The restaurant was beautifully decorated, and during Christmas, the festive decor creates a warm and elegant atmosphere that adds to the charm. The staff is professional and attentive, ensuring your experience is nothing short of perfect. It’s definitely on the pricier side, but the quality of the food, the impeccable service, and the stunning ambiance make it worth it. Perfect for special occasions, date nights, or simply treating yourself.

It's been too long overdue since I was meant to write this so here goes. Buzo has never actually let me down. It is the one Italian restaurant in Trinidad that culminates both strong and subtle flavors. When I lived in Trinidad it would be a once a month minimum takeout or go to restaurant as their mushroom pastas, pizzas in addition to even their steak was always exceptionally crafted and delicious. Highly recommend trying the Vigna pizza which cheerfully balances the blue cheese flavor profile with grape and their original Buzo pizza as well. Can't wait to visit again!
Syamtist — Google review
Went for my mother’s birthday. My parents and fiancé had the steak and it was the best steak they’ve had locally. I myself am vegetarian and had the tempura portobello mushrooms which were amazing and the ravioli which was so rich. Our waitress was most accommodating, friendly and service on point. The infrastructure itself is modern/rustic and so beautiful.
Stefan K — Google review
The Best Italian Cuisine in Port of Spain! This is, without a doubt, my favorite restaurant in Port of Spain! The food is consistently outstanding, especially their pastas and pizzas. One standout dish is their pasta with mushrooms and cream—it’s rich, and flavour! The ambiance is warm and inviting, making it ideal for various occasions, whether it’s a romantic dinner, a casual outing with colleagues, or a special celebration. While the restaurant is on the pricier side, the quality of the food and the overall experience make it well worth the splurge. Recommendation: The service, although friendly and professional, can be a bit slow at times. If they could streamline this, it would elevate the dining experience even further. Pro tip: Make a reservation to secure your spot, especially during peak hours, as it’s a popular choice for both locals and visitors. If you’re looking for authentic Italian cuisine with a touch of sophistication, this is the place to be!

Buzo is fine dining. The staff is so polite and well-trained. The food is delicious. However, no matter how many dishes I try, my favorite is the Buzo pizza. Im not sure if its their signature dish, but WOW. It's a flat dough pizza without tomato paste, yet smothered in goat cheese and argula leaves. I can eat the whole thing. Lol. The staff actually listens to your needs and can cater to fussy teenagers. One of mine wanted Chicken Alfredo, which was not on the menu, and the chef prepared it. That's great service. I will definitely go back. And I recommend Buzo to everyone who wants a great food experience. Ohhhhh I forgot their desserts. We tried Gelato and affogato. Decadent 🍧🍨🍦🍦

Had my birthday dinner at this restaurant on Saturday night. The food was good, but not amazing. Beautiful ambiance, very friendly and engaging staff.
Alexandria H — Google review
Above expectations! Went for my birthday. The menu was not pages long but very complete for any preference in Italian food or meats/steaks. Pricing was a bit on the high side especially for steaks. But note the food tastes great. Having eaten at lots of Italian restaurants globally this is top 10 category so hence you get what you pay for. There’s roadside parking plus their own parking lot a few doors down. There’s security at the lot and also among the street for your safety. Big plus on this. The service was not exceptional though. 1 waiter was excellent while another was seemingly forced to be tolerant to us. Lots of waiters and waitresses so you can call on anyone, not just the initial one. Asked where the bathroom was and was guided directly to it. The decor and atmosphere is perfect. Not overdone but elegant and well thought out. Someone had a 2 or 3 year old there and not a peep from the kid. Attentive parents though. Must go for the food, ambience and an overall great experience!
Troy P — Google review
This is one hell of a great great experience. You will not regret your time going there! From the moment that you walk in, you are greeted in a personal, friendly, warm, welcoming manner by the hostess and wait-staff. I was politely guided to my table and the menu provided for me, within a few minutes later I was attended to by my server who asked what I would like to drink and brought me back a drink with Jack Daniels honey that tasted so good I already did not mind spending the money that I knew I was going to spend yet to come. After a few sips, our server returned and asked if we were ready to order our dishes. He was very, very helpful in his suggestion and showed that he understood the menu and had great experience that could be relied upon coming to any new food establishment. When our dishes arrived I was so satisfied with the visual aspect of it that I already felt anticipation building for the taste, and what great wonderful Symphony of taste it was (view pictures). I have absolutely only good review and praise for the preparation of the of the two dishes the taste and textures were Worthy of absolutely every Star that I can give them and I promised myself that I (we) will be back to try yet even more dishes at Buzo. Thank you for making my gf birthday a smashing hit!!!!!

Restaurant
Formerly known as a different name, the Caribbean Kitchen is located at the Castara Retreats apartments and has had a varied history. While some consider it to be pricey for its offerings, it mainly serves the guests staying at the retreat. Initially receiving high ratings upon opening, its popularity has waned in recent years with more mixed or negative reviews. The restaurant offers a modern Caribbean dining experience with a limited menu that changes based on available ingredients.
The Caribbean Kirchen at Castara Retreats is a modern caribbean restaurant with a small menu, which changes depending on the produce available. They are making a great effort to bring fine dining to Castara, excellent food and an outstanding view, particularly for sundowners. Definitely give this place a try if you want a classier meal in Castara. The chef cooks up a storm in her open kitchen.

Probably the most beautiful restaurant we'd ever been to. We went during low season so it was quite empty. The sunset was absolutely breathtaking. The food was good. We didn't like the lamb skewers much. Seemed undercooked and was chewy. I had the fried fish which tasted great with a very flavourful batter. My wife had the grilled fish and a watermelon-based side. The portions were all fine dining sized. Luckily we had a heavy lunch earlier. The service was very very friendly and the waiter was nice enough to take photos of us. What was disappointing was that I had asked for the side of the fried fish to be replaced because I had an intolerance to some of the ingredients. Since roasted vegetables were a side on the menu, I asked if that could be the replacement. I was told yes but when we got the bill, we were charged separately for the side of vegetables without getting a discount for the side in my mains being removed. At a fine dining-like place we didn't expect to be charged separately.

Seafood restaurant
Richard's Bake & Shark, located near Maracas Beach in Trinidad, is renowned for serving the classic street-food dish made with fried flatbread and shark meat topped with lettuce and sauces. The beach is known for being a prime spot for catching sharks used in this traditional dish. Despite the presence of international fast-food chains in the area, local outlets like Richard's continue to attract crowds with their flavorful offerings.
Great place to try the famous local bake and shark. My local friends told me you can't leave without trying their food and we made sure we went to Maracas beach to give it a try. The ladies at the counter were very helpful and nice. There were many options, such as lettuce , pineapple, peppers, variety of sauces, etc. to add to the "sandwich" you make with the fried dough and the shark. Lovely beach setting and music. Cocktails and drinks available as well.
Keren S — Google review
Visited Maracus as usual and figured I would try Richard's famous Bake n shark. The view is great of the beach, the selection of drinks amazing and even the guys helping with umberella chairs service is excellent. However, when it comes to the food, it was OK. Was not a big fan of the thick cut of shark stuffed in the bake. We dressed it well, but because the meat was so thick it took all the show but it had no flavors. They could have seasoned the shark more. Disappointed but next time, I will try something different. The chicken and fries was good.
Walter D — Google review
Delicious experience! Bake & Shark with all the fixings. So good. A happy place & great place to people watch. Right on Maracas Bay Beach, too! The road to get to Richard's was a long & winding road. Fun time!
Susan H — Google review
One of my main bucket list items when visiting Trinidad and Tobago for the first time was to have bake and shark, and was told that this place did it pretty well. It hit all the right spots, especially after a dip at the beach. The bake was crispy and fluffy, paired with the flaky fried shark, and different toppings of your choice. Also had some shrimp, and that was bangin 😎 Good vibes as well!
Alvin ( — Google review
The OG Bake & Shark, Richards still holds their own among a sea of other b&s shops. While I definitely preferred some of the other shops over Richards, they still make a mean b&s and had the best bake from everywhere we tried. The shark was actually the let down here, pieces were small and breading/flavor missed the mark - soggy and not well seasoned. The stuffed aloo pie on the other hand was incredible! We got it with shrimp and would definitely be my go to order here! They have 2 sauce/topping stations which is nice as it can get quite busy. While I wouldn't say Richards holds the crown for the best b&s in maracas anymore, it's definitely worth it to try the OG and their stuffed aloo pies are worth the visit alone!
Jon C — Google review
The bake and shark and king fish was 3/5 in taste. The salad and sauce options were terribly lacking 0/5. The salads were a few pieces of lettuce, few pieces of onions, cabbage and the pineapple and cucumber were stale and looked like it was from the day before. Then there were flies. There were one in the pink sauce and when I was eating flies surrounded us. In the other stalls , there are usually more salad and sauce options
Naieem M — Google review
Best tasting bake and shark imo. I wish they would have had someone standing by the condiment trays to assist, though, or at least have labels on the trays...I only smelt the heat in a green sauce (that I thought was chadon beni) AFTER I poured it on my and my young daughter's sandwiches! 🥵 🔥 Though I tried to rinse it off, she was unable to eat it, and I barely managed to eat mine. However, despite the pepper, it still tasted better than any I've ever tried. The fish itself was succulent and well seasoned.
Desi-Ann R — Google review
My first time in Trinidad visiting family. I heard about this place and I wanted too try, along with having Shark for the first time. Let me tell you!!!! The view was amazing!!! The shark, was perfect, a new taste. I love how you can add your toppings too your sandwich. The fries where nice and crispy! Such a far price as well. I can't wait too revisit Trinidad and this well establishment. 💪😎🤘

Had the coconut cheesecake here years ago and went back recently for lunch. Hands down the best food I had in Tobago, and the cheesecake still ranks as my #1. Service and ambience is excellent.
Anessa D — Google review
We enjoyed out night here. The food is top tier and worthy of prestigious food awards. For appetizers we had callaloo soup & jerk fish with plantains. Main courses were the Barrel eye fish with creole sauce and Barracuda fish with butter & garlic sauce. Both served with ochra rice and seasonal vegetables. For dessert we shared cheese caked topped with coconut flakes...yum. The portions were more than enough. $200 US for a party of 3 that also includes drinks. 2/3 had Stag Beers while the other opted for juice. Our host of the night who we believe to be the owner (we didn't ask) was attentive and very pleasant. She was also accommodating and entertaining. That same energy was shared with other guests as well. We shall return.

Our last lunch in Tobago at The Fish Pot was the perfect send-off! We couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the first bite of their freshly prepared hamburgers, we knew we were in for something special. The fish with pasta, topped with an unforgettable alfredo sauce, was a highlight – genuinely a "best I've tasted" moment. The service was a joy, attentive without being intrusive, and the restaurant's relaxed atmosphere, enhanced by the gentle sea breeze, made for an idyllic lunch setting. Don't miss the opportunity to enjoy a meal at The Fish Pot; it's a must-try for both lunch and dinner!

When in Port of Spain, make sure to visit Aioli, a restaurant located in Ellerslie Plaza in Maraval. This Mediterranean-inspired fine dining establishment offers delicious food and excellent service. Whether you're with a large group, family, or having a business meeting, Aioli caters to various occasions for lunch, brunch, and dinner. The ambiance is relaxing and the value for money is evident. Guests have praised the professional and warm service provided by Marvin, the restaurant manager.
Had a lovely meal with some first rate service and delicious cocktails. Happened to be restaurant week and we tried their fixed price menu. Had a very good selection to chose from. Enjoyed the shrimp cocktail a delicious salad and perfectly cooked surf and turf. Would eat there again and highly recommend.

My friends and I came here for a birthday lunch. We were the only persons in the restaurant yet the service was slow. The staff also needs to be more knowledgeable of their own menu - our waiter could not answer our questions without confusion. The lighting in the restaurant is extremely low and dim, making the atmosphere univiting rather than cozy / intimate. Two of us ordered a la carte while another person ordered from the prix fixe menu. The prix fixe menu was great value for money. Everything we ordered tasted great but the pizza was a little burnt on the bottom. Overall, the food is really good but service and atmosphere can be better. Side note - they are one of the few restaurants in Trinidad that don't give you anything for a birthday celebration

La Tartaruga is a top-notch Italian restaurant in Tobago, known for its homage to the leatherback turtles that visit nearby shores. The menu offers a wide range of Italian cuisine, including fresh seafood, homemade pasta, vegetarian options, and an impressive selection of Italian wines. Chef Gabriele De Gaetano's passion for food shines through in his dishes. The restaurant boasts a warm and intimate atmosphere perfect for couples and an extensive wine list curated by the chef himself.
The location is outstanding in Buccoo Bay. The ambiance was inviting and warm. The staff was very attentive, friendly and accommodated my restrictive diet. The food was fresh and just the right amount. The veggies and fish are sourced locally and the pasta ingredients come from Italy, as they should. The owner was super friendly and loved greeting his guests.

Great experience. Friendly staff. Came for lunch with a party of four but could not stay as one of the party was feeling ill. The staff was so considerate and understanding. Packed up the lunch for us to go. Had been a birthday celebration and they put up a happy birthday banner. Was so impressed came back that same day for dinner.

Tucked right next to Buccoo Boardwalk, La Tartaruga is a charming little gem offering a truly authentic Italian dining experience. The ambiance is warm, rustic, and homely, with wooden interiors, a cozy wine display, and a bar stocked with an excellent selection of spirits. The open-air setting flows seamlessly into the lush outdoor greenery, giving diners a breezy, relaxed island feel while still maintaining a touch of European elegance. When it comes to the food, La Tartaruga delivers authenticity. The appetizers were a highlight, rating a solid 9/10 for flavor and presentation. The mains—both lunch and dinner—were hearty and satisfying, though leaning slightly more towards a 7/10, perhaps reflecting my personal bias toward stronger Trinidadian flavors. Still, the quality and authenticity were undeniable. The drinks menu, particularly the wine selection, is impressive. The curated list complements the food beautifully and adds a touch of sophistication that elevates the dining experience. Overall: La Tartaruga blends Italian authenticity with Caribbean charm. It’s a place where you can enjoy excellent wine, great food, and a laid-back yet refined atmosphere. While some mains may not have the boldness I’m used to from local cuisine, it remains a must-visit restaurant in Tobago for both visitors and locals seeking a taste of Italy. ⭐ Appetizers: 9/10 ⭐ Mains: 7/10 ⭐ Drinks/Wine: 9/10 ⭐ Ambiance: 9/10 ⭐ Desert: 6/10 📍 Verdict: Good food, excellent wines, wonderful setting – highly recommended

Did a wine tasting session here and there are no words. The wine was immaculate but the entire experience from start to end is a must-see and must-try for anyone visiting Tobago. This is what a taste of Italy feels like and the food, simple plates to go with each round of wine, was delicious 😋 I'll be visiting this restaurant whenever I am in Buccoo Tobago. It cannot and will not be a one and done. Too too good 😩😩😁

Our reservation was made to have lunch and the food was good, very tasty (Penne Alfredo and Penne Bolognese) and it was served at an optimal temperature (warm to - hot). Our wait time was about 8 minutes. In terms of drink, our waitress helped us through the selection and even allowed us to sample the wine of choice. Neither person at the table is a fan of red wine but the chosen wine was delectable and enjoyable. Can't remember exactly which wine it was but it was in the "By the Glass" section of the menu and I'm sure the waitress can guide you to a selection. Also, our waitress was respectful, kind, courteous and helpful, really cementing the experience as a class action in first experiences. P. S. The website has almost all the information and allows for booking via phone or WhatsApp, highly recommend you check it out before reserving or walking in. Additionally, the boardwalk as well as the ILoveBuccoo sign is in close proximity to the restaurant making for a scenic view of the greater Buccoo beach area. However, at the time we came for lunch some light maintenance being done around the restaurant and the sound of drilling not to far from our table often disrupted conversations. "But besides that everything was perfect, I loved it."

Nice Italian restaurant with good service, ambience and a decent wine list. We ordered the tomino grigliano, chicken alfredo, spinach cannelloni, and a tiramisu and enjoyed it all. We had bellinis to start and then a couple of herb teas at the end of the meal. Would recommend

The main course was delicious. But desert portions are definitely on the smaller side they were tiny with HUGE prices for teeny weeny portions, my desert was 75TTs and I got a singular scoop of icecream (without the normal extra half-ish scoop which hangs off the icecream scoop) 5 marshmallows (the tiny ones) and 2 oreos. Personally this was more toddler friendly than 5,7 sized. If you want to ask “is this it??? whilst crying” for desert then yes doo go. But if you’re looking for something on the smaller portioned size then the food would suit you as it was nice. It’s probably a me thing, I just like more than 3 mouthfuls of pudding.

If you haven't yet ventured to Marabella, it's high time to treat your taste buds at Krave, a culinary gem that's making waves in the dining scene. This stylish San Fernando restaurant boasts an inviting ambiance adorned with chandeliers and offers a diverse menu that takes you on a global gastronomic journey. From their mouthwatering stuffed chicken alfredo and succulent pork tenderloin to unique dishes like Greek salmon and Cajun shrimp, every meal is an experience.
Atmosphere is sophisticated and soothing. Had dinner sometime recently. All the food was well presented, large portions and very tasty. My pasta dish was not the best to my liking. The bottom of the dish was somewhat watery. Other than that, no one had complaints. The salmon was superb. The service is impeccable. Of course, the prices are in the higher end for all that exceptional quality.

I visited Trini and took the family out for a birthday celebration. We had the CCC service. Camille was exceptional; she helped us pick great meals as it was our 1st visit. The drinks were awesome.. let me tell you they don't hold back on liquor. My daughter enjoyed her fancy colored drink. Portions were good enough to share with 2 people.

Valentine's Day 2025 was excellent! Food was on point as always; no other restaurant is this consistent in my opinion. So tasty and fresh. Despite a large number of persons to be seated, the service and staff were superb, efficient and friendly. The live music was greatly appreciated as well! I can't recommend enough

If you're on the hunt for a delightful dining experience, look no further than Kaizan Sushi, nestled in the vibrant MovieTowne Mall of Trinidad. This gem offers an array of authentic Japanese dishes alongside Asian-inspired creations that are sure to tantalize your taste buds. Their lunch specials are particularly enticing, featuring options like sushi served with salad and miso soup or hearty chicken teriyaki paired with garlic mashed potatoes and tempura vegetables.
Lovely experience at Price Plaza location. Went to MT once years ago as far as I recall it was a good experience as well. The meals were quick and tasted great!

A much better experience than More Vino. Tried their All You Can Eat Buffet on Tuesdays and the rolls were consistently good, for new menu items. Didn't like the tofu, it was bland. Would not recommend the brownie dessert though, it lacked body and depth of richness and flavor. Trotters brownie explosion is the best!

Visited the Movie Town branch and I didn't dine, I ordered to go and got the deal "3 rolls for $190". I got the tori tempura roll, oishi roll and another one but I forgot the name, it's basically salmon. The wait wasn't that long probably about 15 minutes. The rolls were okay, the oishi roll was the best because of the plantain in it, it added a little sweetness.

Falling in love with sushi over and over again is how I feel about this restaurant. With so many rolls to choose from, I get excited when viewing the menu. The rolls are perfectly concocted with the right mix of textures and flavors. I've ordered takeout before but the dine in experience is cool.

This was my first visit, and upon being seated was a bit sceptical about this place. There clearly is the need for a decor upgrade and the atmosphere was lacking. It was quiet with no ambient music so we were hearing all staff conversation in the background. The food though. Our expectations were low however everything we ordered was surprisingly tasty. May not return to dine but take out is a high possibility.

There has been an improvement in their quality and flavor over time. Presentation has also improved. Overall it's a good place for lunch or dinner with great desert options.

Last night we decided to take up Kaizan on their 'All you can eat' menu which was reasonably priced. First off the service was impeccable - well done. The menu had a few things that needed explaining and our server was very helpful. We ordered drink and starters, both of which came very quickly given the low traffic. Drinks were well balanced, the potato ball - delicious, but the chicken lollipop was sometimes a bit undercooked. I was a bit disappointed that there was no wasabi or ginger as I have come to expect these as standard when having sushi and to be honest, some of the rolls really needed that extra umph and palate cleanse to enjoy as we were mixing options. My first time eating conch and surprisingly it was not chewy. Kudos to them. The biggest disappointment was the serving sizes, I cut everything in half, lol. We had to re-order as soon as one came out - it just didn't make sense eating one potato ball (they should come in three's). Otherwise everything else was as it should be, so an overall good experience.

Was looking for food on New Years day and thankfully this place was open, so 5 stars just for that To top it off our server Cindy was top notch, we never had to look around for her, she was very attentive and kept checking on us, if I could give another 5 stars would go just to her! The food was delicious and satisfying for sure! I am visiting Trinidad and will definitely make this a must have anytime I am in the country! 👍👍🔥💯🇹🇹

Brown Cow Restaurant in Crown Point, Tobago is a small and intimate 24-seat eatery known for its enchanting dining experience. The restaurant offers a blend of indigenous dinner fare with global inspirations, making it a top choice for those seeking an elevated culinary adventure. In addition to delectable lunches and kid-friendly meals, Brown Cow also features afternoon tea, tempting dessert menus, and a special Makimono/Sushi extravaganza on Sundays and Mondays.
Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Our group ordered the grouper (catch of the day), seafood pepper pot, chicken trio and the pinwheel steak. All dishes enjoyed by all and were perfectly paired with the appropriate vegetable and starch. There were 4 children in our group and surprisingly all were very pleased with choices made from the children’s menu, which included sliders, pasta with chicken with a choice of Alfredo or red sauce. Dessert included chocolate cake and super delicious canal cheese cake.
Carol P — Google review
Think the idea of good cuisine in Tobago/Crown Point is admirable, and with some development, this place has the potential. However, the lack of communication between service and the kitchen, lack of ability to think with a client, and attentiveness makes me not recommend the restaurant, and that is unfortunate. To start positive, the food was beautifully made. The lamb was good. And unfortunately, there is a however. The way the staff communicated with us, which was basically telling us "no" instead of really checking with the kitchen and asking questions, was shameful. The lack of attentiveness when sitting outside was not necessary and could have led to selling more drinks, for instance. The lack of thinking with a client with allergies led to a waste of food, and that's not something I like. The mistakes were "fixed" but just unnecessary. Hopefully with development this restaurant makes it, it really has the potential. I get the challenges with getting supplies from Trinidad. But please communicate this with the client and before the client orders.

Brown Cow is a charming little spot that immediately feels warm and inviting. The space is small, yet it gives off a very homely and intimate atmosphere, accentuated by soft lighting, vines draped across the ceiling, and cozy wooden décor. The open layout makes it easy to feel part of the energy while still being able to enjoy a quiet evening. The menu is well-priced, making it an attractive choice for casual dining with the potential to grow into something more refined. The sushi was fair, rating about 5/10, with room for improvement in terms of freshness and presentation. The main courses were more satisfying, coming in at about 6/10, showing that the kitchen has promise and could evolve into a strong fine-dining option with some refinement. Service was friendly, and the ambiance makes you want to linger a little longer than expected. Brown Cow might not yet deliver the polish of a top-tier restaurant, but it certainly shows potential. With a little more attention to detail in the food execution, it could become a standout spot for both casual diners and those seeking something a bit more elevated. Verdict: A comfortable, well-priced restaurant with a warm, homely vibe. Worth trying now, and definitely one to watch as it grows.

My husband and I wanted to have a delicious dinner in a quiet restaurant close to our hotel in Crown Point. The Brown Cow restaurant exceeded our expectations with the taste of the food and the quality of the presentation. Very attentive service and we received a couple items on the house too. :-) For our entrees, we had the pistachio & herb crust lamb and the honey roasted geera pork belly. Both were delicious! The lamb was cooked to perfection, medium well as requested and the sauce, with a touch of sweet glaze on the side, complemented the taste of the lamb. It was served with sweet potato mash. Now on to the pork belly dish. I am a Filipina, and a properly crisp pork skin is what I’m looking for. The skin was crispy but not hard at all, and the pork was tender and delicious. The pork belly was immersed in a plate of polenta with plantain slices and a refreshing touch of cucumbers & a couple cocktail shrimps in the middle. Compliments to the Chef! The service was attentive without being intrusive. Overall a very pleasant dinner in beautiful Tobago. And the price range is quite reasonable for the excellent food and service. Rest rooms were very clean.

This place is such a gem!! While visiting Tobago for the first time I struggled to find more upscale dining at first. But I was so happy to find this restaurant! This is great restaurant with exzotic dishes love the taste and the presentation of the dishes. Why I give a (4) star rating because the order took to long to reach our table, beyond that great service and top of the line staff servicing to customer. Pricing of the food is very reasonable and I will be visiting this place often. It is definitely a place you want to visit once you in port of Spain.

We were running late for our reservation, but the hostess was very accommodating. The restaurant is tucked away long the savannah, so you're not bothered by passing traffic. The food was delish and more than enough. It may have been a slow night but the wait staff was very present, one of the owners even came to our table to check on the service and suggest wine pairing. While on the pricey side, its well worth it!

The Breakfast Shed is a hidden gem located at the International Waterfront Centre in Port of Spain. Despite its name, it's not just for breakfast - visitors can enjoy local delicacies like smoked herring, fried or roasted bake, corn soup, stewed chicken, and provisions for lunch and dinner as well. This spot offers perfect waterfront views while indulging in Trinidadian cuisine. It's a popular spot for both locals and tourists to gather throughout the day.
Perfect outdoor eating space. There are plenty of very large benches you can sit and enjoy your food, as well as concrete seated tables with umbrellas. The ladies serving your food feel like home. It was lovely. You get a beautiful view of the sea as you're right next to it. It's also a great place to pass the time whilst you wait for your ferry. It's a 5 minute walk to the ferry port from this location. There's also a bar you can purchase cold beverages from, and you're kept entertained with music played by a large speaker.

This is one of the best dining experiences I have ever had! The staff were all super friendly and professional, the food was absolutely delicious & excellent and the scenery though quaint was very clean. The only thing this place is missing is a trolley to cart you out when you're done eating because you WILL be suffering from macajuel syndrome after you eat it all. Wishing I could give the experience 100 / 10. Will be back in the future for sure!
Samara A — Google review
I had a reservation for two at freebird on 7th September 2025. The service was horrible. Our meals were pre ordered, for an allotted time slot from two days before, only to be sat down on the day and asked what we were having???? We should have taken the hint at that point. The appetizer took 30 minutes to arrive, after which we waited 45mins and then an additional hour for our two main courses. To make matters worse the waiters actively avoided eye contact and did not check in at all in between meals presumably to avoid complaints which also meant we were thirsty as well as hungry ( I ended up calling them in a big way multiple times). To me that is so unacceptable especially for an establishment that boasts of a "fine dining" experience. The wait and service was so off, I believe, it threw off the taste of the food because ain't no way I waited so long for just THAT (stressing, it was not bad just not phenomenal). Perhaps under different circumstances I would have praised the meals. I hope there can be improvements in the future.

This was my first time dining at Freebird, and I had very high expectations. The ambience was wonderful, but the service was quite slow, and the food took a long time to arrive. That said, the presentation was excellent, and the dishes were extremely tasty. My favorite part of the evening was the London Fog Crème Brûlée, an absolute standout dessert!

Freebird Restaurant in Point-A-Pierre, Trinidad, is a hidden gem that offers a dining experience as delightful as its location. The food is exceptional, offering a variety of flavorful dishes that blend local ingredients with international flair. Each meal is thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented, making it a true culinary delight. The service was fantastic. Due to its popularity and intimate setting, reservations are essential, but well worth it for the unforgettable experience. PS. You do drive through an oil refinery to get to it.

Too noisy, servants were pleasant but service was extremely slow. Waited two hours for food. Food was good overall but a better experience was needed. We really anticipated this visit.
Nakisha S — Google review
We took our mum to Freebird for Sunday Brunch on her birthday, and it was fantastic! The dishes and drinks, which incorporated a lot of local ingredients, were wholesome yet sophisticated. The idea of shared plates is really smart because it means less food wastage. You also get some additional treats that aren't included on the menu, but they elevated the meal. The service was quick and the staff were very pleasant. They were all briefed on the reason we were celebrating and acknowledged my mother. The decor and tableware were beautiful, playing on nature and light. The one thing that took away from the experience was a group that came some time after. They were extremely loud. That caused everyone in the restaurant to talk louder, and it became too noisy. It still would not deter me from going back to celebrate any special occasions because to sum it up, Freebird is impressive!

If you're on the hunt for a delightful culinary experience, look no further than Matura Blue Crab, where the Sardinha family has been dishing out mouthwatering local lunches since the 1980s. The vibrant Alison welcomes guests with warmth and charm while her husband Ken works his magic in the kitchen. Although this gem primarily serves lunch, you'll likely find yourself too satisfied to think about dinner afterward! When it comes to street food, especially seafood, not all experiences are created equal.
Not every street food is a good experience, especially seafood steet food. But, the fish was well seasoned and cooked to perfection, not over or undercooked. The sides were healthy as opposed to our usual go-to fatty, artery clogging ones. Reminded me of Friday meals my mom used to prepare. I had mashed dasheen and mashed potatoes, no oils, yet tasty. The service was excellent. The owner is extremely friendly, knowledgeable about his craft, and hard working. Coming from the opposite side of the island, this was worth the drive, I will return.

Apsara South is a high-end restaurant in Trinidad offering authentic Indian cuisine. The name translates to "celestial dancer," reflecting the heavenly dining experience it offers. Despite the extensive menu, diners can seek assistance in choosing dishes such as the husseini boti kebab lamb marinated in poppy seeds and masala. While the service may be slow at times, and prices are relatively high, Apsara South stands out for its genuine Indian culinary offerings.
Apsara South is one of the best Indian Restaurants Hands Down ! The Ambiance of the dining room , the friendliness of the staff , their amazing menu choices. I visited here a few weeks ago and the food was amazing . The staff was so welcoming which made my experience even better . The waiting time for my food was not long at all which I really appreciated . Their Drinks 10/10 . I especially enjoyed their chicken vindaloo it’s to die for 🙌🏽☺️. I would definitely recommend visiting if you have an exquisite taste bud 😉 you won’t regret it . It was honestly my first time trying this type of cuisine and I definitely would be back again 🤗

I hate having to give such a poor review but it is necessary for management to be aware of failures. Apsara South cannot be considered fine dining and I don't understand why San Fernando can only have the bare minimum of nice things! I digress. Main complaints: Lackluster service: waiting 20 minutes just for water (with no ice) followed by a longer than expected time for the drink and meal order to arrive. General sense that the staff, while very pleasant, needs more training or support. Food quality: severely lacking and bland taste. The meal tasted as though it was purchased frozen in a plastic bag. If you know what good authentic Indian food tastes like, please do not order from Apsara because you will cry. Alcohol: firstly, they were terribly understocked. No Angostura rum, seriously. Our drinks were weak/watered down/overpriced. Portions sizes: Abysmal. You cannot charge $165 for a dish small as a child's fist. We left the establishment completely unsatisfied. Ambience: 2/5. There are better options. Unfortunately the value for money does not exist here and the overall ambience and experience is lacking in almost every way. I hope that things can improve with a complete overhaul but I will not be returning.

Intro: From the parking attendant to being seated, the experience was seamless and welcoming. We were greeted warmly at every step. Atmosphere: Quiet and relaxed, with lovely music playing in the background. Food: Both the appetizer (lamb samosa) and main course (garlic nanan, cashew shrimp and butter chicken) were exquisite—beautifully prepared and full of flavor. Drinks: This area could use some improvement, as they didn’t quite match the quality of the food. Dessert: Options Limited, we were not satisfied with what we ordered. Overall: A truly enjoyable experience. The service was excellent, and we’d be happy to revisit.

I enjoy Asian cuisine and that includes South Asian as well. Apsara did not disappoint. Overall the food was flavourful and attractively presented! I am partial to colourful food. We had chicken and chevron. I was hesitant about having the chevron because I eat goat very often and I assumed that it would be the usually 'gamey goaty' meat. I have grown a bit weary of it... Well, I was pleasantly surprised! I never knew chevron could be so delicious and and delectable. There was only an ephemeral whisper of the usual 'gamey goaty' flavour so you were assured that it was goat but the sweetness and texture, complimented by the seasonings took precedence. I am still impressed 24 hours after. Dhal is my favourite lentil and the dhal was the perfect balance between viscosity and and mobility. This was also my first time having Naan. I've been to South Asian resturants in the past but I always opted to avoid Naan because I mistakenly believed that it was synonyms with Sada roti. I mean, why pay so much for sada roti when my aunty makes the best sada and I could get it for free???? Well I cofess that I have been ignorant. They are not the same. Apsara's Naan was sooooooo soft, buttery and comforting! The charred bits added texture and a smokiness that seem to emphasize the warmth of the flatbread. The coconut kulfi was the best I ever had although it was a bit too sweet for me, as I do not have a sweet tooth. However the portion was just right so the taste did not become overwhelming. It's something I would only consume in a small portion. This review is becoming too verbose but before I end, I want to commend the waitresses. They were very attentive and even pack and bag your leftovers, unlike the ones at TGIF who unceremoniously toss you a Styrofoam box after the tenth request. We indulged in the lunch menu which consisted of Seafood Gumbo Spicy Wings Haryali Kebab Masala Chicken Goat Rogan Josh Mixed Harri Sabji Yellow Dhal Butter Naan Basmati Rice Coconut Kulfi

I recently dined at Apsara South and ordered the Chicken Tikka, Tandoor, and Saag Aloo. Each dish was flavorful, well-prepared, and nicely seasoned — the Chicken Tikka in particular stood out for its tenderness and spice balance. The Saag Aloo was rich and comforting, and the Tandoor had that distinct smoky flavor you expect from a proper clay oven. Overall, the food was very good and lived up to the restaurant’s reputation for quality Indian cuisine. What held the experience back slightly was the service. While our server was efficient and ensured everything arrived promptly, their tone carried a subtle harshness. It wasn’t overtly rude, but it lacked the warmth and friendliness that makes dining out feel welcoming. In short, Apsara South delivers excellent Indian food, but I’d love to see the service reflect the same level of care and hospitality as the kitchen.

There's lulla of silence inbetween loud songs for a place that is supposed to be a lounge bar so your conversation is not running smoothly. I had to ask for the bill three times, got fed up went to the counter to ask for the bill yet again and still had to wait (we ordered all of 2 of the same drinks -_-) .... Potential is there, they are FAR from it. Also they need to pay their security guard more so that je doesn't hate his job and is unpleasant.

Best Authentic Indian food in Caribbean and quite possibly the Western hemisphere. Butter chicken, and Peshwari Nan are out of this world. If ever in Trinidad make it a must to visit Apsara South.

The restaurant offers an extensive Sunday-style meal every day, featuring a variety of Trinbagonian dishes served family-style. Set in a seaside tree house with tables built among the branches, Jemma's provides a unique dining experience with fresh sea breezes.
Wonderful food and atmosphere. Gemma remembered our family from a visit last year. The breadfruit pie is very tasty. Great balance of cheese and breadfruit. The fish dish was delicious as well. My second time here and I was not disappointed.

Came with a reunion group (40 of us from various Caribbean islands, US and Canada). Ordered mostly fish or chicken with sides of fried rice, breadfruit casserole, stewed beans, veggies. Everything was delicious, all agreed. Service was great. Right on the ocean in a rustic setting. We had a reservation and ordered ahead (recommended). Highly recommend that you make the trip to Speyside to sample the food. Thank you Jemma

Great local Tobago food. Stewed fish was delicious and breadfruit pie was scrumptious. Good service and reasonable price. Lovely sea views.

It is very tasty, and it is a tree house. Quite expensive but worth trying. Would need to save up, but it would be great to try the lobster. We could not finish the meal, so they boxed up the leftovers to take away. They accept UK credit cards
Henry W — Google review
The drive was well worth it. The scenery is very calming and the breadfruit pie and cucumber salad were unique and delightful. You can easy cover a meal and take dip in the sea right next to the property. You even get one or two birds coming in to keep you company. A great little place for a unique Tobago flavour.

Beautiful views and authentic homecooked trinbagonian dishes served up in a rustic "treehouse" overlooking beautiful views of the sea. Family style meals - order your main/protein and they take care of the rest! Fried rice, callalloo, pies.. all the sides are brought to your table. While some of the food we found to be a bit under seasoned and lacking flavour, the pies definitely did not disappoint and I'd go back just for those! One of the best mac pies I've ever had and cassava pie was amazing! Apparently the breadfruit pie is the real star here and unfortunately it wasn't available when we came, but we weren't let down given how good the other 2 were. Service was friendly and the view were stunning. We listened to the waves and watched pelicans fishing as we waited for our meal, and we would have gone for a swim if the weather was a bit nicer. Overall a great spot to have some local cuisine with a beautiful backdrop, and definitely worth a stop if you come by this side of the island!

Great place for lunch. Best time to enjoy the sea view in this tree house restaurant. Good value local dishes with meals including several sides. Fish and chicken were nice and the lobster ordered by other tables looked amazing.

Real Creole food! So good you’d want to lick the plate! The customer service was really good as well and for food being cooked to order on the spot they bring the food in a good timing. Loved our experience here! Be sure to include on your visit to Tobago! Well worth it!

The establishment offers a unique dining experience with its flavorful dishes and inviting ambiance. We had an extremely enjoyable experience. My wife and friends had dinner, and the food was delicious. The Mango Lassie was one of the winners. Ajay, our server, treated us with great respect and excellent service...very humble young man. We also enjoyed some beautiful violin from the amazing violinist, David Frank...

I had lunch here. It's regular Indian food but more expensive and the cocktail drinks tasted like there wasn't any alcohol in them. The dessert was delicious and I loved the presentation! I would say the food isn't worth it, but I'm willing to return to try the afternoon tea. Ambience is lovely and service was good.

You walk into an experience! Some very attentive and knowledgeable staff. Interaction from the door with the young lady was note worthy. Food is reasonably priced for the level of culinary art tou received on your plate. We were offered a sort of pre appetizer as we waited on our orders. The menu does a great job of explaining most meal items and you can also ask questions. They have a few tasting options on the menu which is awesome. The Mint Chutney is divine! 2 person table was a bit tiny but the servers handled well. My partner and I were both satisfied with our meals. Meals are visually impactful so is the overall space. Edible Flowers and beautiful colours on every plate! Ambience was taken up a notch with live violin! If I had to nitpick my only wish was that the naan was served in a way that better kept its freshness.

Top of the line, flavorful cuisine. Food took a while to appear but it was worth the wait. My only disappointment was the dessert. It fell short of my high expectations after such a sumptuous meal.

The food was delicious! Authentic Indian food that can only be found in Trinidad and Tobago. It was nice to have a security guard direct us and escort us to our parking area. The same security guard was also there when we exited the restaurant. We try a variety of items on their menu and our children also and enjoyed the experience. They also have live music. The food is excellent !

Texas de Brazil - Trinidad is an upscale Brazilian restaurant in Port of Spain, offering a unique dining experience with all-you-can-eat grilled meats carved tableside and a diverse salad bar. The restaurant is known for its wide variety of side dishes and salads, as well as a meat selection that includes steak cuts, lamb, chicken, and sausages. The customer service is excellent, with friendly and helpful staff members.
Was really good... but They should update the website with their prices and that of the place. I didn't mind that the prices didn't match, but more than one would care... the excellent service and the super food... I loved it I went to celebrate my birthday and I had a great time
Alexa R — Google review
The entire table with side dishes were stone cold, garlic bread hard as a crouton, mushrooms that are supposed to be eaten hot are like they are straight out the fridge, the meats were all seasoned the same so they tasted the same just different textures.. some had no salt while others were over salty like the ocean there was no inbetween, the only meat I will give as amazing is the bacon wrapped chicken. Good experience to go once, the atmosphere is very very very very nice with live music playing when i went and the service was impeccable however i will not be returning as I can get more flavor and higher quality food on the avenue.

There's a wide variety of side dishes and salads. The meat selection includes steak cuts, lamb, chicken and sausages. The customer service was excellent, the staff members were friendly and helpful. This restaurant is great for those that have a big appetite and can handle loads of meat being served in intervals sizzling off the grill. The drinks were also great and I loved their carrot cake. Definitely recommend for a birthday or special occasion. The restaurant week special was a steal of a deal.

Great ambience, great service, the food was delicious some meats are a bit salty but most were on point and cooked just how you prefer it. Servers were very polite and courteous. The chefs came out to ensure everything was to our liking. The drinks were also well made and the deserts are delicious. They were also very accommodating for kids. The prices are high, as to be expected of places of this caliber.

Tonight is our last night in Trinidad, we decided to go eat at Texas De Brazil. We are here celebrating our anniversary. It was myself, my husband and our friend Sherwin. It was his first time so, you know, he was in for a treat. 🙂 From the moment, we walked in the door, we were given excellent service. The manager, Christian, came up to greet us and made sure we were ready to be seated. Once, at the table, our server Joseph was very kind, knowledgeable and served us promptly. He explained to Sherwin, how the process works and went to get our drink orders. The food was delicious, hot and fresh. Christian is a true gentleman and assisted me with my plate and pulled out my chair. During the course of dinner our anniversary was mentioned and that it was our first time here. The service became even better. 🙂 We received Champagne and wonderful well wishes. They took wonderful care of us. Christian was so kind to give us a tour of Rizzoni's Italian restaurant below. It is absolutely beautiful. Thank you for making our last night in Trinidad one of the best. 🙂

Kariwak Village and Holistic Haven is a relaxed hotel in Trinidad & Tobago, known for its unfussy rooms, pool, and free beach shuttle. The hotel's legendary restaurant and staff are as renowned as Robinson Crusoe himself. It boasts an award-winning 2-acre garden with tropical shrubs and flowering trees where holistic activities like yoga, Tai Chi, and meditation take place.
I went back in December 2022. I’d like to go back sometime soon and here’s why. Staff:All of the staff and the owner were nothing but amazing and lovely. They always did above and beyond especially for the Christmas celebrations. Hotel room:The room itself was so unique and cool! And every single day it was cleaned to perfection. Food:The food they’ve provided us with especially for breakfast was always made fresh to order and was so delicious. Airport: The airport is walking distance from the hotel. No car needed to get there! Area: For restaurants, shops and the beach, all were walking distance as well from the hotel. I’d like to give a shout out to the staff again. They really made the trip to to Tobago the best and unforgettable experience.

Whenever I come to Tobago, I make it a point to come to Kariwak at least for breakfast. The home made yogurt and fried fish with toast are my favorites and their cocoa tea is simply the BEST. Also, if you’re looking to have a solo retreat in nature but want to be steps away from the action in Crown Point, I highly recommend their garden rooms, which are quiet and put you in direct contact with the plants. The free yoga offering is a nice touch and the staff are all really lovely humans. It’s a 5 - 10 minute walk from the airport and about a 15 minute walk to all the restaurants in Crown Point so there’s no real need to rent a car unless you want to explore further afield.

We visited this charming little spot twice, first for early evening drinks, which were excellent. We returned the next day for breakfast, which was just okay, with the portions on the smaller side, though the service was good. All in all, we’d definitely return for drinks and would be open to trying lunch or dinner. The space is beautiful, so we’re also curious to see what the rooms are like, it may make for an interesting stay. They take cards and cash.

A beautiful Oasis in the midst of a commercial tourist hub. Rooms have a great balance of rustic and more standard hotel room fittings. The grounds are beautiful and give an island comfort. The restaurant has great ambience, the dinner menu wasn't intimidating but quite encouraging. The Fish meal we had was quite delicious, simple but well put together ingredients. The Iced Tea is a must try! The slice of Spice Cake was also very pleasant. My only complaint was that the meal was too expensive especially considering portion sizes. Feeling like I was being made to pay for the ambience and brand of the establishment.

Thee best costumer service , I arrived early at 1030am, check in was at 2pm and they had the room ready for me at 1055am . Really good complimentary breakfast , beautiful real wood huts , good wi fi and free yoga in the morning and free shuttles . 3rd time here and I will be back . Recommend to all thank you Kariwak.

We were very disappointed by our experience. We had first booked a trip on Expedia in April but had to postpone as I got sick. We were able to get all other bookings rescheduled free of cost but this wasn't possible at Kariwak as it was through Expedia. We contacted them to see if we could get a discounted rebooking directly. They offered a very small discount for our trip in May. We ended up booking the stay. When we arrived we were disappointed that they weren't even able to give us the Garden room which we had first booked for in April. When your hotel is mostly empty, it would have been a good gesture to offer the better room for guests who had paid twice. Not necessary but a good gesture. The hospitality at the hotel seemed very fake and not welcoming. Like nobody actually wanted to work there. Our experience only got worse after. While the room and surroundings were beautiful, places where they cost cut were very visible to see. 1. They don't have shampoo offered in the rooms. When we asked for it, they only said that they never give shampoo. In a beach town, you need shampoo, especially when you have a pool in the hotel. 2. What's even worse is that they only give you free water bottles when you check in. Not for any other day you've booked. I've never seen that practice anywhere else. 3. Their "free" breakfast was sooo bad. The crispy tuna was bland and then there's toast and some yoghurt+granola. No variety, no self-serve option. For the amount you pay, it's not worth it. 4. They don't have free coffee sachets in the rooms. And the last thing that really annoyed us was that they have this ledge above the bed that stops you from sitting up in bed. We whacked our heads on it multiple times when we were going to lie down. It's a health hazard. Overall, it's just better to book a stay in an apartment nearby than spend to stay here.
Gokul U — Google review
I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Kariwak. The location is quite convenient to the Airport, the beach and other restaurants and businesses. Kariwak also offers shuttle service to the beach. Kariwak is very beautiful both in the rooms and outside. The AC was very powerful, rooms were clean and no complaints with the water pressure. Outside was very relaxing, beautiful for taking pictures or relaxing by the pool or jacuzzi. They also have yoga and massages. The customer service was excellent. From Ingrid who picked up my family and I at the Airport. Josh our handsome bartender who was quite accommodating for breakfast and lunch. A very special hats off to Joel the all rounder who made our stay even more memorable accommodating my niece on her special day, organizing the staff to sing Happy Birthday for her 😁. Thank you Kariwak, we'll definitely be back.
Lynda-ann B — Google review
My stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms were spacious and beautiful, the compound was clean and well-kept. I don’t necessarily have an issue with the hotel not providing free teas and coffees in bedrooms because their prices are affordable and you can avail yourself to such items at the hotel restaurant for free. There is an area to relax in the garden with hammocks with the jacuzzi/pool nearby. The breakfast was decent, it included fish, eggs, toast, fruit, yoghurt and granola. The only criticism I have is that the hotel staff DO NOT answer the telephone/landline. Despite this, the staff members that I encountered and met were super helpful, kind, welcoming and warm. They extended themselves to assist and accommodate us as best as they could. I would definitely return again.

Trotters is a lively sports bar located in Port of Spain, Trinidad, where the excitement of international sports comes alive. Absolutely Yes! From the moment you park, you can tell this place is a gem. The attendant greets you with a smile and offers helpful parking tips, while the staff maintains a high level of professionalism and politeness. There truly isn’t a bad seat in the house. The menu strikes a perfect balance between local and international selections, and both the prices and food quality are excellent. I highly recommend trying the corn soup and the 400-degree wings. Don't forget to order a Long Island iced tea, a rum punch, and ensure you have a designated driver! Thank me when you are sober. Lol

Upscale sports bar with a great atmosphere. It doubles as a cool dining spot if your looking for a tasty range of food as well. Reservations are always best, but they've always accommodated the "spur-of-moment" diner like myself, a few times. Notwithstanding the excellent taste, the food is a little pricey. I just wish they would play some Caribbean music, and that would make them the "near best" restaurant. It doesn't have to be so heavily skewed to foreign music. We have good music, too.

I was looking for a good sports bar in Port of Spain to watch the Leverkusen vs. Munich match, and a friend recommended Trotters in the city center. It did not disappoint! The main giant screen was showing Liverpool vs. PSG, but all other matches were available on smaller screens strategically placed around the circular interior. The atmosphere was lively, perfect for game night. The pub food was solid, with standout starters—especially the shark bites, which were excellent. Definitely planning to return today for another match! Highly recommended for sports fans. ⚽🍻

The food was ok-ish. The Alfredo sauce doesn’t have that sourish zesty flavor that you’d get from pasta in a chain like Olive Garden etc, but the chicken was well done; no chewy bits. Decor and ambience was on point, minus the mosquitoes trying to eat me. I dined at night.

The vibrant Original House of Pancakes is a great spot for families to enjoy traditional pancakes. The friendly service and eclectic mix of music give it an old-fashioned feel, while the value for your money makes it a great choice for brunch.
Visited here twice while on my 4 day trip, the food and hospitality was so good I had to visit again. The food was great, filling and the prices were reasonable. The first visit by boyfriend and we both got "The House Special" which had 2 pancakes, bacon, eggs ( your choice of egg), bacon, a fruit cup and a drink (hot or cold). I got the fruit punch and my boyfriend got the orange. Everything was exquisite. The second visit we both got the combination breakfast (includes different types of pancakes of your choice, waffles, coconut bake, french toast, plain toast, salt fish, plantain, different types of eggs, bacon, sausages, fresh salad and a fruit cup) and hot chocolate. Would definitely visit again such a lovely place with lovely people.

Great quality food just like I would make so definitely up to a good standard. Fantastic service the staff was accommodating, welcoming all in one. I went with friends. We got fresh food and juices. The nutmeg syrup was great and the Mexican style eggs I believe with salsa and cheese. Chocolate chip pancakes 👌. We went on a Sunday pretty close to closing time.

Really wonderful host Wayne, he was very kind and humble, so was the rest of the staff. They're open Thursday - Monday, so we caught them on their last open day on our trip, with Saturday and Sunday having a breakfast buffet as well. Now let's talk about the food! I had "The House Special", If you were wondering if these pancakes and waffles were as dry as some restaurants in Trinidad, they're not! This is easily one of the better pancake breakfasts I've had! All of the combos we had started us out with fruit first! There was this sampling of tomato, cucumber, and lettuce to ensure you have a complete meal, tasted like it was marinating, so it wasn't just plain cucumber and tomato chopped up. The Bacon was restaurant quality, scrambled eggs were on point, the pancakes ofcourse, were the perfect consistency, topped with some local bananas, i wanted to keep going but soon realized that my plate was empty, and everything had flavor! We will definitely be adding this to our "do again" list for Tobago

I went on a Sunday which was extremely busy and packed, however space opened up at a reasonable time so the wait wasn't unbearable. I tried the pineapple and coconut pancakes with eggs and sausage however, the pancakes we're a bit burnt at the bottom, everything else was good and the portion size was great, left satisfied overall.

Affordable, fresh and delicious! The service oriented disposition of the owners and the staff are the stars here, on equal weighting with the tasty, fresh food. My coconut bake wedges were light yet had enough body to hold the buljol. Some tend to fall apart or be too heavy- not this one! They were just 50g each and did not leave me with a heavy feeling after breakfast. The buljol was delicious. I wanted more! The fruit portion just right! If you’re interested the couple ensures all their non halal items are cooked separately.

The Suckhole in Charlotteville is a popular spot known for its beach-adjacent location, kitschy decor, and most importantly, its delicious food. Many visitors are willing to wait over an hour for a table due to the perfectly flavored and beautifully plated meals that never disappoint. The restaurant offers mouth-watering lunch options such as fried chicken and fried fish accompanied by a variety of sides. Despite the expected wait time, the scrumptious food and friendly service make it worth it.
Great little bar right on the beach. Anthony is a great bartender! The beers are ice cold and cheap! $2 USD per beer. Can’t beat it.
Adam C — Google review
The most unfriendly restaurant service on Tobago so far. You never know when it has opened as there doesn't seem to be any fixed opening times, or even days. Food is also a bit overpriced, considering that the service is so bad. The dishes are nothing special. You can get it anywhere else. The only thing that's a bit better are the side dishes, but you pay for that too. The location is great tho.
Jesus C — Google review
Small dining space but great tasting food with okay portions however there is a wait time as everything is made to order. It is also on the beach. I would like to be able to choose my side as some of them I didn't care for but overall the food was great. It was worth the drive.
Genel T — Google review
Be prepared for a 1 hour drive but its worth it at the end. The food was great, esp the shrimp. The individual sides were small but you get a about 6 to 8 different sides and that makes it huge. There were some similqr tastes amongst the different items we bought, as a sweet thai sauce based garnish was used on both items we bought but that wasbt overpowering in any way. Generally the food was good, and will visit again for the shrimp. Would have skipped some of the sides though, and preferred more of what i liked, rather having all and no choice in that. I do know some people would like this.
Tarran P — Google review
The food is amazing and the portions are huge! A few things to remember though, each dish is prepared as you order so it will take a while to prepare, and this is a restaurant on the beach-not a beach restaurant. You have to follow the rules to be served. Get there early to minimize the wait.
Rebecca K — Google review
Scrumptious food and friendly service! The Suckhole delivered some hands down mouth-watering lunch! We bought the fried chicken and fried fish (dolphin - not flipper): both accompanied by a range of sides which included ample servings of macaroni salad, fresh salad, steamed vegetables, a slice of watermelon, grilled eggplant, fried plantain, onion rings and fries. Despite the reviews I read about the 1 hour expected wait time I prepared my mind and belly for, we did not wait more than 30 minutes. There was seating available, however we opted to sit closer to the water to soak up the sun and the view. This place is a 'must visit' if you're in Charlotteville!

Long drive to Charlottesville must be rewarded. This place has really good food for the price but the service was horrendous. Small and pleasant restaurant serving caribbean and international foods. Good drinks menu too. Vegan burger was a good size and quality. The Fish broth and the seafood pasta also came as large portions so this place is good value for money

We were staying at the hotel attached and decided to eat dinner at the restaurant, worst decision of the holiday. We ordered catch of the day and a rib eye steak, medium along with a few cocktails. The steak arrived and was cooked so far past well done it was congratulations. The fish was unrecognisable as a once living animal, it tasted like a leather insole. Having sent it back and asked for it to be less incinerated, it arrived even more inedible. To add insult to injury, when we explained to the waitor about how we were disappointed with the meal, particularly the fish, the manager rushed over and decided to argue, explaining that because we're British we don't understand how to cook fish and only eat fish and chips... Overall a terrible restaurant with a condescending manager and jaded staff. No wonder the food is terrible with so little love poured into the place.

A big menu with a good selection of Cuban options. Also a lot of American options on the menu as well. We enjoyed our roti and burger. Nice atmosphere in an interesting tiered setup. Food came out very fast!

Beautiful rustic setting in the Bacolet area . Stayed fairly close to here and it was a great choice for pre dinner drinks and also evening mini-platter 1-2 hrs prior to dinner .

My friends and I visited in March 2024 to celebrate my birthday with a few drinks. We got there around 9.30pm and as we walked in no one came up to us. We were unsure of how to proceed as it was our first time. Eventually a lady told us to sit at a table and we would be served...I was told she is the owner but I am not sure. The waitresses were all sour and constantly repeated that they were closing at 10pm. So my friends and I hurriedly ordered our drinks. The drinks were good but the service was TERRIBLE! The waitress spilled a drink all over my husband and her apology was barely audible. We had just finished our round of drinks and were going to order a second round when one of the waitresses slapped the bill onto the table. Never did she ask if we needed anything else. Then and there we decided that we would NEVER patronize this place again. Tobago establishments need to learn how to be service oriented. These waitresses seem to be poorly trained - facial expressions were serious and unfriendly. It seems as if they don't realize that without customers they will not get a salary.

More Vino is a top-notch sushi restaurant in Trinidad and Tobago that offers an excellent selection of wines. The ambiance is inviting, with attentive staff and delicious food. While dining outside, there was a small incident with another customer, but it didn't detract from the overall experience. The Smokey Dragon Roll was particularly outstanding. Additionally, the buffet offered exceptional flavors and textures, although drinks other than water are not included in the price.
Took myself for an afternoon birthday lunch and it was nothing short of amazing.

After hearing all the hype, I was excited to experience this restaurant. Upon entering, the ambiance was vineyard-like with an outdoor seating area. Once inside, more seating was available and evenly spaced. It was my first experience trying Sushi so I was skeptical and proceeded to ask the Server about Sushi... If it was indeed raw fish and instead of answering directly, he came across a bit snobby and that was uncalled for. I'm here to tell you that the Sushi is not RAW but rather SMOKED. The offerings from their TTRW Sushi Menu were delightful, however I did not like the Seaweed Salad. The Salmon was bland. The appetizers chosen were simply ok and the desserts were nothing special, Creme brulee was not torched. Wouldn't be returning for a long time.
CeCe G — Google review
My wife, daughter, and I went out for dinner. We tried their $150 special menu option. The food took a lot of time to arrive. My entrée arrived at the same time as the appetizer while my wife and daughter's entrées arrived much later. For dessert, we took 2 chocolate mousse to have there. We were given a soup spoon and a serving spoon to eat them with. The texture was extremely grainy and unappealing. They had no diet drink options and did not have passion fruit juice although it is on the menu. There was no mint, so we couldn't try the mocktails that used mint, nor could they make a virgin pina colada because they had no mix (we don't drink alcohol). No fresh juices either. Just orange and grapefruit juice available and grapefruit juice affects our medication so we can't have that. The only saving grace was that the appetizers were good.
Shastri P — Google review
Visited the avenue location for TTRW. Despite how full the place was it did not feel cramped or too noisy. I had reservations for inside dining but had to dine outside which was fine. Ambience and decor is not much to talk about. Our server was very friendly and personable. I ordered sushi as both entrée and main and it tasted good.

Went for TTWR. Service was a bit slow but the place was packed and it was a Friday evening... Was not terribly slow though, took about an hr from start to finish, which was what we expected.

I'm rarely in Port of Spain, but had cravings for sushi. The food was amazingly delicious! The restaurant was clean, crisp and inviting. The staff were absolutely the best! Big portions, deviously delicious and good price point. I'll definitely return. Car park too, so no worries about getting towed.

It was perfect. The sushi rolls was great size, you can distinguish the difference in each rolls taste. The appetizers was plentiful. The drinks isn't all that, it's weak and most of them are sour but overall great ambiance, lovely service. A bit pricey but otherwise great experience

We got lost looking for a restaurant and this pop in our view. This was my first time and my children second. It's a very quaint place. It looks big from the outside but beautiful when you walk in. The garden seating is just as beautiful, it gives you that zen style feeling. The service was great and food as well. We had the sushi and desserts it was truly yummy. They have a great tea selection as well. Happy food exploring.

This was a wonderful, must-do place to eat in Tobago! The food was excellent and had wonderful options for different dietary restrictions. The flavour was so good and you could tell the ingredients were fresh. We will definitely be dining here again

Wow! What an absolute gem right on the shore! The Deck At The Shore offered a truly delightful dining experience for our lunch stop. The setting is wonderfully quaint, with the gentle sound of the waves providing the perfect backdrop. The menu had a fantastic selection, and we were so pleased with our choices. The flavorful fish broth was a wonderful start, and the fish burger with crispy fries was spot on. The grilled mahi mahi was a highlight, perfectly cooked and complemented beautifully by the callaloo and provisions – a real taste of Tobago! The fresh fruit juices were incredibly refreshing, the margarita perfectly mixed, and the ice cream a sweet treat. We wholeheartedly recommend this lovely spot!

We came here for dinner, one veggie, one not. The place and atmosphere is very relaxing being right on the Atlantic coast, you can eat next to the sound of the tide rolling in and out. Plenty of food options for meat eaters and vegetarians. Service was fast and friendly. We had the veggie chilli, beef chilli, chef's salad without the smoked tuna to share, the cheesecake, carrot cake, fruit juice and a cocktail Pina colada. The food was great and came with small warm rolls with soft butter. The drinks were perfect too. There's a little shop in the front to buy Nik naks and a friendly tom cat. We will try to go back for breakfast and check out the onsite chocolate shop too. Definitely recommended!

Atlantic sea views to a delicious breakfast or lunch. Shore Things is part gift shop, part restaurant and part local chocolate shop. Whichever reason takes you there, make sure to end it with a slice of their coconut cream pie! I’d say it’s my favorite dessert on the entire island.

This is a magic place with the ocean breeze, the sound of the sea and the birds and a natural flavor of fruits and fish. You are thinking you are going just for a meal but you experience something unforgettable.

Update July 2023: Maybe it's different management or cooking staff but it is far too different now. For the price the portions are smaller and the menu has changed. Also we had to wait quite a while (not sure if it was due to being not Caucasian). Did not get that wow factor as the first visit. Also, the meals lost their home cooked feel. Don't think we would bother to return in the future. Original review July 2022: Really nice customer service and delicious. Shirley is a fantastic hostess and the ambiance is quite welcoming. We will be visiting in the future!

Simple food done well. Thoroughly enjoyable and fairly priced. Classy, local, yummy. The coconut cream pie is rightfully becoming famous. Will definitely be returning as often as we can. Bonus there is a chocolate shop on site! Definitely check it out!

While specializing in seafood dishes, they also serve a variety of meat options including steak, lamb, pork chops, and curries.
This place is a real gem. Everything was excellent with one exception. We visited on a Monday just after 6pm. Other reviews was really helpful in finding this place. Not a lot of parking and a serious flight of stairs; for those with mobility issues this is not the place for you unless you’re doing carry out or delivery. We had the place to ourselves. The service was great, everyone enjoyed their drink of choice. The food was really really good. The calamari was not chewy at all. It was crispy and the sauce for it was great. The spicy shrimp was just right; not to spicy, just enough heat. The one thing that was off was the fries. I will not belabor the point because everything else was great. I will def visit again when I’m in Tobago. ❤️

Tried this spot based on the exceptional Google reviews this restaurant has received. Staff is friendly and attentive. The decor is a bit dated but that's okay - it can be argued that this is part of Tobago's laid back charm. Ordered the flamegrilled shrimp with vegetable ribbons and garlic bread. The food was perfectly average - it wasn't terrible, it wasn't spectacular. That's why I gave it 3 stars.
Reahana M — Google review
Upon entering the establishment, we were greeted with a warm and friendly smile from Warren. The service was excellent 😌. Each dish was elegantly presented. The garlic shrimp 🍤 was pure culinary delight and the pan seared barracuda fish fillet 🎣 in garlic butter was most exquisite. Not forgetting the grape nut ice-cream🍨 and coconut cake🍰, which were absolutely divine. You really have to dine at EotR to experience and appreciate the chef's excellent culinary art form.

Easy to find on Buccoo Road. It's located upstairs pizza boys. There are stairs to the side of the building behind the Republic Bank atm. The stairs lead you directly to the porch of the restaurant. We had a 630pm reservation and we were a half an hour late. We called ahead and were still accommodated. It's indoor and outdoor seating. It's painted walls with an ocean theme and colorful tile flooring. Very Tobago lol. There were good food options. Varied meats and seafood. Wide selection of drinks. The chef was so detailed with the orders. He ensured my lamb chops were cooked to perfection. All our dishes were delicious, well-seasoned and plated beautifully. The chef and server were both attentive and engaging.
KV J — Google review
This space was very unexpected…in a good way. It felt hidden away in plain sight. The meal took a bit long to come out but nothing that a good conversation won’t get you through. After the meal came there was no more talk because everyone ate enjoying each morsel and appreciating the chef’s time and care. If you’re going here on a weekend at peak hours, my advice is to eat a small snack before. Tobago time has a mind of its own.
Asma A — Google review
Firstly, the portion sizes extremely small for the price. The prices are high for the place. You would think it’s a classy restaurant but it like a country pub style but high prices and very small portion sizes. I was disappointed. I told management and it was excuses after excuses. One side was two table spoons of veggies for $45 TT. lol

The Boat House in Castara is a charming spot with a tranquil vibe and stunning views of the private beach. Sharon, the owner, is known for serving up delicious dishes and cocktails. The lionfish comes highly recommended for its great taste and contribution to reef sustainability. Pizza Night on Sundays is not to be missed, offering plentiful and wonderful pizzas that can be shared between two people.
This place feels like a time machine, transporting you to an era of tranquility and simplicity. A beautiful, secluded beach, ice-cold beer, deliciously simple food, and good vibes all around. The road to get here is winding and scenic, but absolutely worth the journey.

Back again for another 3 weeks in Castara. Sharon and her team consistently serve up amazing dishes, cocktails and the drums on Wednesday never fails to entertain. I can recommend the lion fish, not only does it taste good but you are helping the reef sustainability by eating it. Sunday pizza is always a winner. Share one between two and still have leftovers for a doggy bag. Best to book in advance so the kitchen can plan.

On Sunday very good and large home made pizzas. One is enough to share for a couple. Drummers night on wednesdays. We also tried their squid in coco/chili sauce with a big plate of different vegetables added. Excellent. Sharon & co does a good job.

We enjoyed the Boat House throughout our 7 night stay in Castara. Sharron is a wonderful owner. If you are in town Sunday night don’t miss Pizza Night! They are plentiful and wonderful. Let them know you are coming. We also did another night dinner here, We’d night- I had the the squid entree served in a garlic seasoned broth, which was excellent. Each of our group of 4 had different entrees which were fresh and nicely prepared. Like other restaurants in the area, entrees are served with a combination of a seasoned rice, some form of potatoes, some bean or pea variation, and here they were all wonderful. Cold beers and great rum cocktails or G&T’s are also excellent! They are right on the beach so you can’t get any closer to beach side dining. On Wed nights the bongo drums come out- they are truly talented musicians- and then the limbo completion starts- just a great time!!

The most wonderful moment I experienced in this place was the great atmosphere and scenery created. Gives you a euphoric sensation before having the food. It’s almost like a home. The food was really wonderful and very tasty. I was yearning to try a creole cuisine and this was definitely the right place. I had the oxtail dish together with some rice. The coconut bread which was brought as a starter was remarkably good; fresh bread. The service was great. The waitress who served me was good. Also there was an old lady who seemed to be running things there, she was very amiable and pleasant to talk with. Drinks described as "sweet" by the servers very much weren't, so much so I ordered a coke just to wash it down, and of course the coke was flat and almost warm, considering even the ice was mostly melted. Sails Restaurant & Pub offers a lovely dining experience with indoor and outdoor seating, providing stunning views of the ocean and boats. The ambience is relaxing, complemented by friendly and knowledgeable staff. While some dishes received mixed reviews in terms of temperature and seasoning, the overall food quality was good. The pimento roasted chicken was slightly dry but flavorful, while the seafood options were particularly enjoyable.
First time being here in Trinidad and Tobago this restaurant was great. The food was plentiful and the ice tea here was my absolute favorite, be prepared if you try it it's like a fruit tea mid sweet and super delicious! It is on the more expensive side but I feel it was worth it. The views from the restaurant was pretty gorgeous as well.

The food is great, the ambience is fantastic..both indoor and outdoor dining. The service could use some improvement though. It takes a long time for the wait staff to come to you when you are first seated, as well to take your orders, check you back etc. I've been there on a few occasions and at different times but the experience was the same.
Rasheed M — Google review
Not worth time and money. We started at the bar as the staff from the main hall had a meeting and no one keep attention to us even tho other people was sitting outside. The bar is a joke. I asked for a virgin Mojito and got warm mix of sprite and soda. Gave up after first sip but was charged tho… eventually we were seated by the restaurant. Service was nice. Appetizers were nice. Main was average. Unfortunately my chicken has too much salt and I couldn’t eat it. Steak was good. I mean all food was nice and fresh but not wow. Nothing special. The price they ask does not match the quality they offer. 200$ of charges was added to our 700$ bill. We will not be back. Zanzibar by the sea was way more better.

Visited Sails recently and left quite disappointed, especially given the steep price point of $400 per person. Food: Presentation was nice, but the taste was underwhelming. The meat was overcooked and dry, and portions were surprisingly small for the price especially the meat, they would fill the plate with greens to overcompensate for the lack of meat. Dessert seemed store-bought, though it was decent and actually the most generous portion of the meal. Staff: Friendly and helpful—one of the few highlights of the experience. Ambiance: The interior was pleasant, and there was a live artist performing, which was a nice touch. However, it was uncomfortably cold inside, which really took away from the atmosphere. Overall, this place is not worth the price. You're essentially paying fine-dining prices for average food and a lack luster experience.

Unfortunately this was a fail on my visit from London. The staff weren't very helpful. They told us they would arrange for us to sit outdoors and when we paid the bill they told us we couldn't go outside. We wouldn't have purchased the drinks if that was the case. Wouldn't go here again especially after the cost of the drinks and how the staff behaved. It's a shame as the view outside was lovely and the cocktails weren't bad. Better vibes elsewhere.

Nestled right on the stunning shores of Castara Beach, Cascreole Rest and Beach Bar is a charming beachfront eatery that captures the essence of island life with its quirky decor featuring fishing nets and playful plastic squids. While the lunch menu may be limited, it boasts mouthwatering dishes like stewed chicken, lamb, and coconut curried fish paired with delightful sides such as chow mein or dumplings.
Ate here during our month stay & the food is absolutely amazing. We were able to catch the sunset which made it even better. You can also buy fresh fish here as the local fishermen come in from the ocean. Also a great beach to bathe on after your dinner.

This is a restaurant as well as a bar with food served upstairs. No fixed menu so agree a price when you order. Classic Caribbean fare, chicken or fish with rice & peas, veg/salad. Fish was freshly cooked and well seasoned but veg, rice & peas could have been hotter. Bar owner brought us out a table and chairs to watch the bonfire he does every Thursday.
Mike N — Google review
Nice to be right smack on the beach and you are able to hear and feel the waves. Nice shack restaurant on level above ground. I ordered bbq chicken and prawn combo. 2 glasses of rose from their bar downstairs. You don’t have much of a choice for wine. They only had 1 bottle and I got them to chill it an hour ahead. Good service. Food didn’t blow my mind. The chicken was a bit hard and stiff but the rest of the ingredients ie. Prawns, beans, veg and potatoes were good. It cost TT290 (USD45) which is a bit steep for this spot. It was much more reasonably priced and nicer spot at Caribbean Kitchen at Castara Retreat hotel.

My wife and I had lunch here with our son today. She had the turkey stew and I have the Curry shrimp. The price was a bit high but due to the location that's not really surprising. The meal was absolutely marvellous and kudos to the chef for such a delightful meal. We will be back!!

You could not pick a more beautiful place to have lunch on the beach. The food was superb and the staff was unbelievably helpful. The waitstaff went above and beyond to meet the needs of our party. I would highly recommend you put Castara Bay and Cascreole on your itinerary.

Love this bar! Andy, the owner, is a fantastic barman and host. They usually have football matches on and there is a pool table. It’s a locals hangout but tourists are more than welcome. The restaurant is delicious but beware that they cook for one table at a time. Do not expect to be rushed in and out but you shouldn’t expect that anywhere around here. If you do, you’re probably on the wrong island/vacation. Thursday bonfires are a staple and people come from all over the island to attend. 5 stars!

Great dinner spot sat right on Castara Beach, with a bar underneath and views right along. When we went the options were chicken or fish - the chicken was fantastic! On Thursdays, there's a big bonfire night on the beach, with a steel band playing and all the locals come along - it was an amazing night, and great to be able to crash/join in the local party - rather than it be put on especially for the tourists!

Nestled in the quite serene Lopinot Valley you will find Cafe Mariposa. On the outside it doesn't look much but..the inside has a wonderful history. We didn't get the opportunity to have a meal but we did hve some of the coco tea...delicious!!! Everything is locally grown with the exception of salt and garlic. You can take a tour of the fish pond and catch your fish for lunch and they will cook it to perfection at the cafe after which you can take another tour of their Coco plantation It's a wonderful little piece of history in Lopinot. They have one of the best coco in the country. I understand their plantain sandwich is unbelievable in taste..Everything is infused with chocolate...but you will never know ..

Service was exceptional. The staff were very pleasant and attentive without being intrusive. The ambience was incredible with views of the gardens and the hummingbirds flitting around nearby. The food was different as most of it was chocolate infused. An all round pleasant experience.

Awesome place! You'll be amazed by the hummingbirds flying in front of you while enjoying delicious homemade food. They you a lot of home grown products, so it was very tasty. In our case, as vegans, they prepared a very diverse and delicious meal. I always like when you really 'meet' the people who prepare your food and this family is very empathic and so friendly. I wish I had the time to stay longer! Don't forget to check out the garden.

During our visit to Trinidad, I found this gem on Google for brunch. My husband had the Breakfast combo with sausage and coffee 10 out of 10. I had the French toast, fried egg over medium, bacon with lime juice again 10 out of 10. Nicole was our waitress and was friendly and informative about the area. Definitely will visit again when I return to Port of Spain.

Atmosphere and service were good but the food was just ok. Eggs were wet and seemed like powdered eggs. Only 1 juice option (they didn't have oj). Syrup for French toast was watery. French toast was more white bread than French or toast. Asked for salt and black pepper to be added to the eggs in prep, server pointed to salt and black pepper on the table. We were excited to see oat pancakes were offered, only to find our that meant oats are added to flour pancakes. Breakfast potatoes were delicious while other dishes lacked taste.

The first-floor dining area offers great views of the bay while patrons enjoy their meals. The food was absolutely delicious, but the standout for me was the lentils with coconut – it was unlike anything I’ve ever tasted before! If I ever return, I’ll definitely be ordering a big bowl of that. Also, the homemade pepper sauce is a must-try, it added the perfect kick to everything. Highly recommend!

This spot’s a real gem if you’re in Charlottesville. The staff were genuinely lovely – warm and welcoming from the minute we walked in. It’s a set menu, which keeps things simple, and you get to choose your meat. The lentil side was packed with flavour, and the mac pie was seriously good – creamy, cheesy, and exactly what you want. Well worth a visit if you’re after a proper local meal with great service.
Aaron S — Google review
The food is of consistently good quality, especially the fried fish and fried chicken. The service is very nice, but varies depending on the mood of the day. The prices for the same dishes can vary slightly from day to day. still highly recommended. It's not the cheapest restaurant in Charlotteville but there's not much competition.
Jesus C — Google review
Nice outdoor covered patio dining. It is upstairs and above the street level. Much nicer than the street level grills you see on the street. We had Fried Shrimp and fries basket and a Fried fish and fries basket. The fish was albacore tuna. Both baskets were very tasty and fresh from the fryer. We also each had a Caribbean beer. However, it definitely was not worth $50 USD. I would put them on par with a shrimp and fries basket from a fried chicken place like Popeyes. I was thinking more like $8-10 per person. Not $25! They did not show us a menu so I wonder if it was a case of raising the normal prices for a couple of obvious tourists. I would definitely go back if the prices were more reasonable.
Adam C — Google review
Probably the best place for lunch on this side of the island ! Meals are large, food is tasty and Sharon the owner is always happy to chat when she's not too busy. Wifi is a plus.
Olivier P — Google review
The food in Tobago is generally very good...but the food at Sharon & Phebs was neat excellent. It was late afternoon and most restaurants between Speyside and Charlotteville were closed. After a long drive along the winding but absolutely scenic route from Lowlands, S&P was open and ready to serve us with the warmth and kindness of Melissa who greeted us with an enigmatic smile. S&P does not accept cards but there's an ATM just a few minutes walk away. We highly recommend Sharon & Phebs for great food and warm service.

Ambience ✅ Food ✅ Service ✅ I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Café Down Low in Buccoo. A quaint and charming dinner and drinks spot that is literally down-low, below street level. The grilled fish with potatoes and pineapple salsa, jumbo shrimp and baked camembert brie & toast, and bruschetta with roast peppers were impeccable. Coffee flavoured ice cream and red velvet cake for dessert. Off the charts! Compliments to the cook! It was an audible WOW with every morsel. Highly recommended.

My visit to this establishment was incredibly disappointing. I went to watch a football match with 2 cousins (also young men) and was asked to pay before the food arrived, which felt discriminatory, as though we were criminals. To make matters worse, we were served veggie burgers despite ordering beef burgers, as if we wouldn’t notice the mistake. When asked what happened, we were informed that the chef had put “too many breadcrumbs in the burger” causing it to have that appearance. We swiftly asked for a refund and went to another restaurant close by. The ambience was also subpar, and in hindsight, the fact that we were the only customers there during lunchtime on a weekend should have been a red flag. I strongly advise others to avoid this place.

I've always wanted to experience this place and finally did so for TTRW 2023. The ambience is perfect for a date night and sets the mood perfectly. They offered a Guiness Infused Dinner Roll that was unique and interesting on its own as well as with the Lobster Appetizer Soup. The steak was well done and juicy. Tiramisu is creamy and decadent, definitely the best I've had thus far. Service needs a bit of work and staff could be a little more professional at times.

Possibly the worst sports bar ever been to.. imagine streaming a Euro Final and the internet drops (had to leave to finish watch England v Spain)… then serving a “bucket of beers” in a six pack(see pic).. place used to be great but has dropped to the lowest standards
Edmund A — Google review
Went all out with a group of 7 on Monday before Carnival. It was empty so we got seating immediately. As soon as we were seated the waitress advised they did not have any wings, mojitos or shrimp wontons. We still decided to stay as it was only three items. We then placed our order for first rounds of drinks one being a coke with little ice…. Apparently that went over the waitress as more than half the glass was filled with ice, out of the 5 alcoholic drinks and 2 soft drinks ordered only one cocktail tasted good what was even more disappointing she brought out the drinks either one or two at a time and it was not immediate literally took 20 mins for the first drink to last drink to arrive at the table. Now we proceeded to order something to eat… yet another disaster; we had a vegetarian with us who tried to order salad and then and only then, we were advised they have no salad as well, we tried to order ribs and again they didn’t have….. so we all now more or less settle for food considering we already sat down and had a rounds already…. Bet your bottom dollar if we knew a lot of the options were not available we would not have stayed. Anyways, now to the second rounds of drinks, again over 20 mins for all drinks to reach the table from first drink to last being served…. Tried ordering a pina colada which was watered down as they only advised then they didn’t have ice cream for it ( I have had pina colada several places without ice cream and it was good) this time the one cocktail they made properly from the first rounds most at the table ordered as we knew we were safe with that . Over an hour and half at least passes for food to arrive at our table…. Yet another disappointment a steak which we requested to be well done was more on the medium rare side…. Everything that we ordered tasted like something we can prepare at home there was nothing fantastic about it…and again by the time the last order of fries alone was brought out to the first meal of steak it was over half hour. Need to note what we ordered wasn't anything lavish to have such a ridiculous delay… Now on to our third rounds of drinks to accompany the food, this time because of the continuous disappointment we only ordered again what we tried but I decided to gamble with a Malibu and pineapple juice with little ice thinking that’s a safe option as it’s straightforward. What was brought out was Malibu and orange juice and what I can say was robbery and a big joke for a drink. They didn’t even mention the switch in juice. Now at this time think after continuous disappointment we just wanted to leave so we went inside settled the bill in full and proceeded on our way. Upon leaving did ask the waitress if there was any other staff and she did indicate she was the only one there, which explains a lot but it is still not good enough. Tried to reach the management of all out on fb to address how they can better serve customers such as being upfront with what they don’t have, having ample staff and serving proper drinks but to no surprise can’t even get the manager name to have a chat. Be warned very disappointing experience would not recommend anything about here Added pictures of the Malibu served and steak which was supposed to be well done

Went to see the Spain v Portugal game, the service was terrible and clearly understaffed. The audio was out of sync with the visual....will never go back to watch any sporting event here again. For a sports themed bar this should be pretty standard. When our food came after 40 mins, the order was incorrect. We got no utensils or napkins. We had the ask the waitress for utensils and we got plastic forks prepacked... not kidding. The service was so bad we had to get our own drinks at the bar and nobody came to clear the table after we finished them I’ve attached pics for proof... if I could have given a negative star I would have

The service was absolutely poor. I went early to an event about 10pm, there were only 2 persons behind the bar and a out 20 patrons. No one else was asking for service at the time, but yet, i couldn't get service. 1 had a lot of bills in her/his hand and was busy punching in numbers at the cash register, ignoring me. Was attended by Nathalie, she was really nice and friendly. We reserved a table prior to attending which was good seeing as we heard whilst there that they were no longer taking walk ins by people. The ambiance is really nice, the cutlery and plates were clean, as well as the tables and bathroom. The environment is cute and sets a nice mood. I noticed there is also a designated kid section, for children to draw etc, which is slightly blocked off from the main dinning area, but near enough and slightly open for parents and or guardians to feel secure. We had scorpion fries to share as a starter, essentially pepper fries, which were tasty and had enough pepper and vegetables combined. As for the main, my companion really enjoyed their chicken burger meal, highlighting the coleslaw inside the burger was a nice touch. As for mine, I had the basmati rice with green peas and sauteed veg as sides. I would say the rice was okay but it was drenched in black pepper, it wasn't bad, but it wouldn't be something I'd look forward to eating again. I think they should highlight that as no where on the menu did it say it was heavily seasoned in black pepper, i would've preferred it plain. As for the veg, they weren't that seasoned as described on the menu. Nonetheless , a nice dining experience and good portion sizes. Lastly, it was a birthday, and they requested ID to confirm birthday, and was given complimentary ice-cream with a firecracker candle, which was lovely, complimented with a happy birthday song.

Ohana is a PICTURESQUE experience for fine dining. From the entryway that sets a romantic or celebratory mood to the foyer, where the receptionist meets you and into the dining inner and outer area. You will love it. The menu, is diverse enough where you can choose something other than "chicken alfredo" But let me start with the appetizers. Wings YES (we had Buffalo sauce) Potstickers chicken w/ hoisin sauce AMAZING Herb infused salmon, mashed potatoes, and corn on the cob. The mash potatoes needed some salt, but that can be overlooked. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾 8oz striploin steak med well done, was made perfectly and seasoned exceptionally. Paired with basmati rice and garlic bread you can't go wrong at all. (Cut some of the steak and have it with the bread, it gets even better) Our server of the night was named Natalie and she was so pleasant and attentive that she deserves a raise. Even asking for our review on the food and drinks, she was authentic. Drinks were well made thanks to the bar. Having this experience on my birthday, made it all the more memorable. I will definitely be back again and I'll continue to rave with madly good reviews.

Excellent service all around! The servers were knowledgeable and took the time to walk us through all the food and drink options without us having to ask. They stayed attentive throughout our meal, and the kitchen was impressively quick - our food arrived much faster than expected after ordering. The prices were very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great service, efficient dining, and good value.

Kingsley H — Google review
I've been going to Wings for well over 10 years now, and their food still hits the spot! Their Curry Duck and Curry Mango (or their Curry Pommecythere) are my absolute favs. Add the usual sides... Curry Channa & Potato, pumpkin, baghi, with their buss-up-shot Roti, and you're in Curry heaven! If Roti isn't your speed, you can get dhal and rice.
Andre Q — Google review
Food is good and so is the service. Busy place. Lunch time is hectic. Geera pork is really spicy. Dhalpuri roti is huge. I particularly like their dhal and rice combos.

The restaurant Fairways Restaurant and Golf Club is a great spot for a meal, whether you're out with friends or family or looking to relax after a day on the golf course. The servers are welcoming and attentive, and the food is delicious and reasonably priced. The only downside is that it can be hard to get served quickly, but overall this is an excellent choice for diners of all levels of experience.
My food was delicious! I came with my family and we had a wonderful time. Our server was friendly and helpful! I ordered the chicken Alfredo pasta and it was out of this world. I was creamy and tasted fresh and homemade. Additionally, the wait time was significantly shorter than I expected, as my food came out less than 30 minutes after ordering. However, I believe that the establishment can use some renovations in a few areas. Overall, I will highly recommend.

My husband and I visited for our 21st wedding anniversary and we enjoyed every moment of it. From the moment we entered the door our waitress was inviting and very courteous. The Air conditioner was directly on me and she adjusted it making it comfortable for me to enjoy my delicious dinner. My husband had the steak medium rear and they got it to perfection. I had the chicken with salad and potatoes. Our cocktail drinks was great and complimented our meal.

Went with a few friends to have drinks and it was lovely. Our waitress was very welcoming and catered to our every need with a smile. She was very knowledgeable about the menus and drinks and this made our time there a good experience. We ordered fries and burgers, they were fresh off the stove and so food. Will be returning.

Place is located in the Tobago plantations, went there for a couples dinner to celebrate my birthday. Definitely was a great choice for our romantic dinner. The service was great. We were greeted with friendly staff. Our server's name was Amaya and she was really helpful, in our entire stay at the plantation, her service and kindness was the best we received. They have a beautifully decorated area to take photos. Food didn't take long to get to the table, the options were great...was easy to choose from. Every dish we had was absolutely delicious. I had the Lobster Thermidor it was the best dish off all....they had a sale on a couple drinks, so we tried those...they were also yummy. The manager was very lovely, friendly and kind. We totally recommend them to everyone, you must visit.

Had dinner here last night for my wife’s birthday. Made a reservation earlier in the day as the kitchen closes at 9:00pm. When we arrived we were the only ones there but by time we left a small crowd were seated. Our server was pleasant and attentive and made sure to congratulate us on our recent nuptials on several occasions. Food was good and reasonably priced for being close to a major hotel and on a golf course. Mojito was good as well.

Definitely one of the restaurants to check out on the island, cozy and welcoming environment, delicious food from off their lounge menu and dinner menu. You can also join them on Sundays for a wonderful brunch experience, you'll be sure to find something to your liking at Fairways

A chill environment for after work liming, good for a leisurely lunch or dinner date or even a birthday dinner with friends. Staff is prompt and pleasant. In and outdoor dining area available. Decent menu selection, pastas, burgers, grilled meats etc. , My last two meals could've used a bit more seasoning. Prices medium to upper. They feature cocktail and lunch deals on certain days to take advantage of.

Great place to have a night out dancing and drinking. From what I heard the drinks were decent, if you knew what to get. The DJ played some American music when he saw our group, but we had a good time. Vibes all around.

Allison J — Google review
I have family both in Trinidad and tobago, the one place we go to start and end our night would always be here. The staff are friendly and funny. Drinks are worth what you pay as they don't measure shots and the food is pretty good for what your paying as 75tt got me BBQ chicken curry that was spiced and seasoned with a good tang. During the week it's quite quiet with a few people round the bar, some have a small dance but mostly its people eating. On Wednesday they do have a karaoke which is very fun. On weekends is when everyone comes out and the bar can get very busy but a lot of the crowd are good people and it's a great atmosphere.

The Queen’s Park Savannah Food Strip is a bustling hub of about 30 vendors offering a variety of Trinidadian cuisine, along with burgers, wings, desserts, local chocolate, and non-food items. Located at the southern end of Queens Park Savannah, it's open every day but Friday nights are particularly lively. The area offers ample free parking and is also accessible for rideshare services.
This place has it all. Amazing stalls with amazing food.
Zone D — Google review
I’ve never seen such a long strip of food vendors. Went over on Friday night, plenty of foods to chose from. People were orderly , and there was music and little bit of entertainment. There was a guard who was kind enough to control traffic and ensure safe parking.
Abigael N — Google review
Foods are super cheap as well as tasty. Lots of halal options there. You can try chapati, beef, chicken, zyros etc. Doubles are some of the most tasty one that I tried here. Soups and juices are also good. Should go on the Fri - sat to get the full experience. Rest of the week the foods are there but not that much option.
Sadat M — Google review
Food variety is great, but in serious need of proper administration and setup. The Queen's Park Savannah is controlled by the Ministry of Agriculture, but not sure who's responsible for this strip. This can be so much better!
P L — Google review
Quite the local experience and really worth a visit. We were worried about safety but it was actually no issue at all. People bring camp chairs and eat in the parking area from the back of their car. Very locals kind of a place.
Nicky J — Google review
Delicious food but sky high prices. UNHEALTHY as hell most of them. Soon to follow another American trend of obesity and heart disease if we're not careful but a lovely treat maybe once a month.
Jacqueline B — Google review
If you're a real Trini or even just passing through, you have to hit the strip at least once especially after dark. Once the sun starts to set, the Savannah transforms from a jogging circuit into the most vibrant, open-air food court in the country. It's a liming spot, simple. From the smell of jerk chicken smoke drifting through the air to the sound of soca beats, steelpan, or car stereos thumping in the background, the whole place feels like an impromptu food festival. People pull up in cars, order and chill. Some even bust out picnic chairs. Expect a crowd, especially on weekends.

Restaurant
Wally's Smokehouse is a charming family-owned eatery located in the quaint village of Rousillac, Southern Trinidad. This cozy spot is known for its mouthwatering selection of smoked meats, including chicken, ribs, and lamb. Despite initial reservations about the taste, many have come to appreciate the dedication and skill involved in creating these high-quality smoked delicacies. The service is efficient and the wait times are short even during peak hours.
Macaroni salad tasted good 7/10 Fries 10/10 Smoked pig tail 6.5/10 Condiments, tasty 😋 I’m not too keen on the smoked flavor/ taste Overall the food was great. Service was amazing. If the smoke taste grows on me I would definitely return for the meats.
Liam — Google review
Absolutely tasty!!! I purchased the smoked lamb, and omg, the meat melts in your mouth 😋
Renuka A — Google review
Lamb is the best on the menu for me, should have an option for Lamb only though, wasn’t a fan of the Macaroni salad. 5/5 on the lamb all the same. People on the trip complained the other stuff was too dry and not enough flavor. Maybe the time of day we visited closer to closing time. They had Pigtail and Fries and Ribs & Chicken with Fries and Salad which they gave a 3/5 for lacking seasoning. Service was good as well, relatively friendly.
Darven B — Google review
Service was good and wait time was short despite the amount of food ordered by our party. We tried the smoked pork ribs, chicken and pigtail along with fries, potato and macaroni salad. The chicken and ribs had good flavoring and was tender. Because the pigtail was only smoked it lacked the flavor provided by caramelization. Would recommend the chicken and ribs,

First time here, my brother and his wife loves this place so they took me there. Nice little place, not for dining and only accepts cash. Had the smoked chicken, it was a little dry but also found d out that he smokes enough for the days business. Overall decent and if you wanna make the drive it would be worth it.
John M — Google review
Excellent service. Unique flavor of smoked meats. Prices are somewhat on the higher end but once in a while it's ok to over indulge.
Aneil P — Google review
Rendel grew up in Dow Village South Oropouche and remembers not liking the famous smoked Chicken the first time he had it years ago. "At the time I was really into Trinidadian BBQ and was looking for new places to try , Wally's was one of them and I was really turned off by the taste" Fortunately our palates have matured and we really appreciate the effort and method that goes into producing good quality smoked meats. We visit from time to time when we are feeling for something different and usually take the Lamb combo with potato salad for $70 As many of you know Wally took methods he learned abroad and opened his own smoke house with a trini twist in Rousillac and became hugely popular over the years.
Rendelina R — Google review
Food was ok, not what I expected. Small establishment with friendly service, very clean as well. Seating for waiting customers only. Easily accessible. It didn't meet the hype of great "smoked" chicken for me.

Head to Ducky's Ortoire Organic Roast Seafood for a delightful experience of fresh seafood in Mayaro. This riverside eatery offers a scenic drive and a chance to savor daily catches like lobster, seasoned with chandon beni and garlic, then roasted on banana leaves over an open fire. Despite being slightly pricey, the deliciously prepared seafood is well worth it. The friendly atmosphere and personable owner add to the overall charm of this must-visit spot.
Had the opportunity of eating at Ducky's today. We were warmly welcomed as we approached the serving area. We chose our order and awaited our boxes. The wait was short inspite of there being a small scattered crowd in accordance with the Covid protocol. The taste was definitely delicious. The sauce was tasty and complimented the fish perfectly and lime slices were available as well as sea salt. The box was filled so it dubbed for lunch and dinner. Money well spent I enjoyed my experience at Ducky's and would definitely recommend.

A little on the pricey side but so worth it. Some of the best and freshest seafood, freshly prepared right in front of our eyes, cooked on a slow wood fire. The lobster was amazing, one of the best I’ve ever had and the owner was very friendly and personable. A great place to eat and a must visit next time I’m on that side.
Deon W — Google review
Huge serving sizes ands kids eat for free. The fish was ok but the star was the roasted plantains for me. They were excellent. There wasn't really a wide assortment when we go there. The service was good and there was a nice outdoor area to eat.
Dhanraj H — Google review
I'm not sure if it was because it's a Sunday, but this was not what I expected at all. I arrived around midday to a crowd of people that had been already waiting for an hour - some more than that - and nobody there to attend to them. 15 minutes later, a man that may be the owner, cane out and advised that we needed to write our names and orders in a book, then wait for our orders. When asked about their offerings, he advised that he had fish but no lobster yet, and the wait time would be at least an hour for the fish and a further two hours for lobster. Suffice it to say, quite a few customers complained at that point. Having drove all the way from Santa Cruz, we decided to endure the wait and pass the time at the bar across the road. To our surprise, lobster and fish meals were also available at the bar (next door, on the same compound), and there were groups of people there that had the same idea in mind as we did, to pass the time there. Interestingly, two different groups told us they were there since 10AM. Given the possibility that our wait time would most likely be more than the hour we were told, we took a look at what was available there (the bar). Fish was being cooked, with lobsters waiting in trail. It looked and smelled good enough, plus it was slightly cheaper. My group (10 in total) discussed the option of eating there, and agreed to order there, rather than wait for Ducky's - by this time it was about 12:45 - and we cancelled the Ducky's order. Keep in mind, we ordered from Duckey's at 12:15. At 1:30 we received our orders and enjoyed our meals. Meanwhile, the two families we met at the bar, hadn't received their orders from Ducky's yet, although they ordered before us. They both, along with many of the folks across at Ducky's, chose to cancel their order with Ducky's and buy across the street. It's a good thing they did, because they all received their meals and ate, before those that decided to wait on Ducky's. For those that waited, I hope their meal was exceptional and worth the wait for them. But the meal we had was tasty enough, that in mind waiting for Ducky's could not have been justified. There's nothing that would justify driving 2 hours, then waiting a further 2 to 3 hours after ordering, for a meal. Will I go back someday to try Ducky's? No... at least not a planned trip. If I happen to be in the area, I'd probably give it a try. I don't even know why I gave a one star rating. I never ate at the place and the experience was awful. I have added photos of the lobster, but forgot to take pics of the fish meals.
Stacey T — Google review
Red snapper or lobster seasoned well wrapped in fig leaf on the outdoor grill. Bess!!! Great service and parking. It dont matter how far u come from its worth the drive.
Ferad A — Google review
The fish was nice but about burnt to the bottom. The lobster was very much over cooked and pricey. Disliked the fact there were no sides and hardly any tables. Service was good, waited 35mins for my order. Just Remember to hover around a table if you want to eat there; they were limited tables because a lot of families were there. Try duckys on a week day, less people. But all in all it was a good experience, it was about time with friends and loved ones on the journey and about internal tourism.

Food is good and the service is great once you've figured out the process. But the process itself is a bit convoluted. Nevertheless great food, no drinks or if there were drinks available it was not easily spotted.

Bobbie's Roti and Soups Palmiste is a popular spot in Central Trinidad, offering authentic Indo-Caribbean cuisine. With branches in Palmiste Village and Cunupia, this restaurant serves up savory rice or roti paired with flavorful curried meats or veggies. Guests can also enjoy hearty bowls of pigtail or veggie soup. The restaurant is known for its outstanding customer service, affordable prices, tidy dining settings, and a menu featuring East Indian and Creole dishes.
My first-time experience at bobbies roti shop was an interesting one, outstanding customer service with a smile, reasonably affordable costs for the meals, tidy spacious indoor settings for dining options, parking is available, and also you can call and place your order for the food if you don't want to wait in line. The menu consists of east Indian and creole dishes. I must admit being a first-time buyer I'm satisfied with the meal I purchased and my experience, the owner of the establishment makes you feel at home while purchasing your meals. Lovely experience. Place was well kept and the rooms were clean and comfortable. There was a mini fridge and a little tea/coffee station.
