Great quality food just like I would make so definitely up to a good standard. Fantastic service the staff was accommodating, welcoming all in one. I went with friends. We got fresh food and juices. The nutmeg syrup was great and the Mexican style eggs I believe with salsa and cheese. Chocolate chip pancakes 👌. We went on a Sunday pretty close to closing time.

Really wonderful host Wayne, he was very kind and humble, so was the rest of the staff. They're open Thursday - Monday, so we caught them on their last open day on our trip, with Saturday and Sunday having a breakfast buffet as well. Now let's talk about the food! I had "The House Special", If you were wondering if these pancakes and waffles were as dry as some restaurants in Trinidad, they're not! This is easily one of the better pancake breakfasts I've had! All of the combos we had started us out with fruit first! There was this sampling of tomato, cucumber, and lettuce to ensure you have a complete meal, tasted like it was marinating, so it wasn't just plain cucumber and tomato chopped up. The Bacon was restaurant quality, scrambled eggs were on point, the pancakes ofcourse, were the perfect consistency, topped with some local bananas, i wanted to keep going but soon realized that my plate was empty, and everything had flavor! We will definitely be adding this to our "do again" list for Tobago

A little quaint home-in-the-middle-of-work type of setting, this restaurant was a great place to have Bago breakfast with a hint of international palate. Everything was cooked to perfection and the surprise was how well the different items tasted together. Another must-try when in the Trini Sister Isle of Tobago 💯

Literally cleaned my plate it was so good and affordable. Everyone that works in the restaurant with super attentive making sure me and my family was satisfied.

I went on a Sunday which was extremely busy and packed, however space opened up at a reasonable time so the wait wasn't unbearable. I tried the pineapple and coconut pancakes with eggs and sausage however, the pancakes we're a bit burnt at the bottom, everything else was good and the portion size was great, left satisfied overall.

Affordable, fresh and delicious! The service oriented disposition of the owners and the staff are the stars here, on equal weighting with the tasty, fresh food. My coconut bake wedges were light yet had enough body to hold the buljol. Some tend to fall apart or be too heavy- not this one! They were just 50g each and did not leave me with a heavy feeling after breakfast. The buljol was delicious. I wanted more! The fruit portion just right! If you’re interested the couple ensures all their non halal items are cooked separately.

I enjoyed my experience here. It deserves 5 stars, but I gave it 4 stars for my long wait to be seated. We made a reservation so I didn't expect that. It didn't appear to be understaffed that day. Other than that, the atmosphere, location, and ambience were fantastic. The food and drinks were delicious and filling. The espresso martini was so strong and heady. It's very affordable for a party of 5. You can shop and eat at the same time. Love that experience. I did not buy anything, although. They also have a private area to host parties, etc. I want to book that in the future. I'm definitely going back. Fully recommend.

If you're looking for a brunch spot that will wow you from the moment you see the menu, Dianne Tea Shop is it! We visited on a Monday and were torn between their amazing breakfast and lunch options, so brunch it was. The lavender latte was a fragrant and flavorful treat, and the hot chocolate was pure indulgence. Each bite of our food was absolutely sumptuous, leaving us completely satisfied. The service was also top-notch and made the experience even better. Trust me on this one – give Dianne Tea Shop a try (reservations are a good idea!).

All items are delish & well presented. The hot matcha latte with honey & coconut milk are perfectly balanced with enough sweetness as you request. The sourdough mushroom sandwich is yummy but much too salty for me. Baby bella mushrooms have to be carefully balanced with salt as it seems tasteless, then goes to oversalted quickly , especially when a balsamic reduction is used to dress it. The thai green curry bowls are very tasty with a good level of spice/heat. Highly recommended! Place is mostly busy at brunch time through lunch on weekends but great customer service.

The service was excellent, can't complain about service from all staff. Smiles, pleasant and attentive to customers. There Cobb salad was great and I tried a rose type coffee it was excellent. Have to go back and get the name lol. The food wasn't too bad, plantains were a bit hard though. But will definitely go back another time.

Incredibly relaxing ambience and nice presentation. Service is good and the food/drinks are individually served as they are made. The food is delicious and passes quality checks before being served. I recommend trying the rose latte. My place of choice for a classy daytime dining experience. Prices aren’t bad either and are fair for what you get.

What a lovely breakfast! This was delightfully delicious, filling and such a home-feel atmosphere 🇹🇹 The pressed watermelon 🍉 juice and in house made mini parfait 😋🤤. There is a delightful and large private room, perfect for tea parties, brunch or even a bridal shower. Tons of desserts, cakes and such to choose from.

I recently tried this place based on the reviews, and I can mostly agree with their opinions. However, the salad dressing was a bit off, with a sour taste. While the price is slightly above average, I believe it's justified considering the overall experience. The ambiance of the place is aesthetically pleasing, catching the eye. I'm definitely planning to return and explore more dishes from the menu, as my initial visit left me quite satisfied.

Food here was great! Came here every morning to get breakfast. We tried the bake and saltfish, bake and eggs, bake and smoked herring, corn soup, and their fresh juices. It’s also a quick walk from the Hyatt.

The best local breakfast I get is at the Breakfast Shed. They make the bake on the spot along with the roti. The food is delicious and authentic. I highly recommend.

Went for breakfast on a Sunday. Only two of the vendors were open. But it was good food, local breakfast options, and a nice scenic view.

Just Had Lunch from Tants Gourmet. Excellent Price for portion and flavors to make you want to ask for secret ingredients. Stop in and have a great experience. Lunch is nice on the waterfront!

During our visit to Trinidad, I found this gem on Google for brunch. My husband had the Breakfast combo with sausage and coffee 10 out of 10. I had the French toast, fried egg over medium, bacon with lime juice again 10 out of 10. Nicole was our waitress and was friendly and informative about the area. Definitely will visit again when I return to Port of Spain.

Atmosphere and service were good but the food was just ok. Eggs were wet and seemed like powdered eggs. Only 1 juice option (they didn't have oj). Syrup for French toast was watery. French toast was more white bread than French or toast. Asked for salt and black pepper to be added to the eggs in prep, server pointed to salt and black pepper on the table. We were excited to see oat pancakes were offered, only to find our that meant oats are added to flour pancakes. Breakfast potatoes were delicious while other dishes lacked taste.

One of the better breakfast places in the west. The menu is not exhaustive but you can get a meal that's filling and satisfying and has value for your dollars. Customer service is good. It's not a grand dining area but perfect for solo breakfast dates and for early Saturday mornings before errands 🙃

4.6* The food was tasty, and portion sizes were big. We had the coconut bake and multigrain bread in our breakfast meal, and it took me back to my aunty's baking in the country. I'd like to try their lunch menu.

Café del Mare at Crews Inn has a lovely atmosphere with a relaxing vibe, and the prices are reasonable. It was my first time visiting, I had the pasta with eggplant, which tasted really nice, and I got complementary cake for my birthday. However, our experience was a bit disappointing as we were told that the pizza oven closed early on a Sunday night, so we couldn’t order any pizzas. We also weren’t able to order from the café menu, which limited our options. Overall, it’s a nice spot, but it would be great if the full menu was available until closing time.

A cute sea-side café in the Marina. This is one of my favorite places for breakfast after a Bamboo Cathedral walk and it's also a lovely place for remote work. The coffee is always divine and the pizzas and paninis are amazing. Great location if you want a change of pace or for a cute brunch date with your besties. I recommend going either in the morning or at sunset for the best view.

My first time visiting and was very impressed. I loved the ocean ambiance. Something about water makes me feel so relaxed and calm. Food was excellent, service was great as well. Some very nice baked treats and a very small but good breakfast selection. Coffee and juices were so yummy. Will definitely go back upon my return. I would like to try the other menu offerings as well.

Absolutely great place to visit. Eating outside is a risk you'd have to take, as those black birds felt entitled to your meal more than you🤣. Everything was great! I carried a friend for their birthday and they truly enjoyed it as it was their first time. We went for breakfast and it was absolutely delicious 😋. Only recommendation, a revision of the breakfast menu for a greater variety! No French toast saddened me.

Green market in Santa Cruz is one of the best markets in Trinidad! This was my third time at the market and my partner and I went for their Christmas in July event. There is so much variety such as jewelry, toiletries, clothing, utensils, food, produce, etc. and everything is locally made! Definitely recommend visiting

Great way to support local farmers and craftsmen and be part of a wonderful community. It's the place to go where you find the people you want to meet, eat great food, breathe fresh air and relax! There's a wonderful variety of food vendors offering some tasty local dishes as well as other folks whose offerings are more unique - peculiar flavour combinations or elaborate presentations like the awesome chow guy. You can purchase vintage household items, jewelry, clothing, hand crafted soaps, plants, produce and loads of other great items at the market. Some vendors use a Linx service and others are cash only. Parking is on the compound and is adequate.

Fall in love with the food, art, craft, environment and most of all people. I highly recommend this local treasure. #ComeIntoTheGreen

Not all activities and products jadvertised were available. Understandably, things do happen but there weren't any posts or notices of such. If you are venturing out of your area to visit it can be more disappointing than an inconvenience. Still a very nice experience tho.

Recently visited there, party of 5 for brunch. (Friday morning) Only 2 servers attending. No house brew coffee at the time, no worries, drinks took half an hour to get there, Serving portions way lot smaller than before, meals took over 1 hour to reach our table. Errors on our bill. Charged full prices for some dishes, despite the unavailability of main ingredients. We've been there a few times before and the experience was quite good, don't know what happened. Very disappointed overall.

The aesthetics here were really nice. The service was good. The standard breakfast was good. My wife ordered the sampler and the sausage was more like a hot dog and the ham like deli meat. The bacon was great. Not bad just not what we expected. Mixed review 3.5 - 4.0 Star. Certainly worth a visit.

A simple, good roadside cafe. A bit on the small side (20-25 seats simultaneously. Can get a bit loud with the chatter when filled, but still generally comfortable. The staff was very friendly and courteous. I was accommodated to dine in even though they were booked out for Father's Day. The quality of food was very good and the variety on the menu was excellent. Prices are average for an eating establishment in POS and environs. Definitely would recommend for a simple breakfast and moreso for a great breakfast takeout option.

Located on the avenue, Riley's is such a lovely, cozy spot with lots of charm. From the french vanilla to the waffles, it truly was an enjoyable experience. The first time i visited, i had take-out but on this occasion i decided to sit and enjoy and i was not disappointed.

Riley’s is a cozy gem! The staff were wonderful and the food was even better. I had the ‘Steak N’ Mushroom Quesadilla’ .. simple meal but very flavorful. The steak was juicy and the corn salsa was bussin’. I’ll definitely be back. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Really wanted to rate this place higher. But a wait time of 30-45 minutes between placing your order and receiving your order on a Sunday morning with two kids is definitely not the best option for breakfast. Then four persons placing orders simultaneously and having two orders brought with ten minutes for the next two orders... Not fun. On the plus side, the food was good. Was it worth the wait? Not convinced. Don't mean to bring your ratings down but needed to let Management know what needs improvement and let others know what to expect. We didn't.

Really nice little place. Discovered here by accident whilst working one. There breakfast is cheap and filling. They also offer lunch as well. Never had their lunch but the menu looks quite nice. They have outdoor dining (when the country opens back). The staff there is also accommodating. Been there a couple times and will be there a few more. The only take back is, the pace is a bit small, but it adds to to coziness of the place. Bon appetite. They recently upgraded their menu, some of the older items are available but only for take away now. However same great taste same great price.

The cafe is small and stylishly decorated while still being simple. The meals were good although the crepe was not freshly made so had a sort of rubbery feel. The bagels and wraps were great. The staff were attentive but somewhat worked slowly making the meals which came long after we had our beverages. The coffee and teas were of quality but on the small size. Their tall is 8 ounces which seemed kid size. Industry standard is 12 ounces so please review. Overall good and will recomnend. Sure return visit from me.

Visited on 30/6/25 with the intention of having breakfast and must admit that this would be my only visit. The customer service staff (2 ladies) while not dismissive, were very unwelcoming. During my 10 minute visit, I witnessed an interaction between them and a customer who highlighted to them that her drink order was overly sweet and asked them politely to adjust it. The responses given to that customer were insulting and in poor taste. Instead of simply fixing the order , they proceeded to tell the customer that they “ cannot read her mind” to know exactly how sweet she wanted her beverage etc. Then further stating that she would have to pay more to get the drink Adjusted etc. I do not know the customer but in my opinion she was polite and not demanding or rude. The manner in which she was addressed disturbed me to the point that my husband and I decided to no longer dine in.

Enjoyed a Mother's day breakfast with some of my family members, really nice spot to just relax

I visited on the morning of 9th September 2022 and the staff was very welcoming. They were very knowledgeable about the menu and they also took the time to listen and make recommendations. I ordered the Classic Breakfast Sandwich on Brioche which tasted amazing! I also had the Cappucino, and a Mocha Latte and I appreciated both as both drinks were full bodied. For desert I had the Hazelnut Crepe, it was quite very simple and amazing on the palate. Brick Lane Cafe definitely has my recommendation as a "must visit" again.

Quaint place, homey feel but sooo lovely. The food was great and the service was amazing. We legit took forever placing our order (not purposely, just indecisive choosing from their great options) and the cashier was really receptive and not impatient at all with us. We even got to try out one of their cookies (on the house). Overall I really liked it and the prices aren't bad either. Lovely place to have a nice sunday brunch.

This a cool spot for breakfast or brunch. The staff is great. They are friendly and helpful. They are also always cleaning. The place is spotless. I enjoyed the food well enough but it's not something that I would leave my house for every day. I also liked the atmosphere and decor of the space. So, this review goes to show that extremely helpful and friendly staff can improve the taste of food.

I have 0 issues with businesses charging premium pricing .. but your customer service cant be poor and portion sizes can’t be equivalent to a tasting menu. We were excited to visit here but it was an epic failure. Prices were inflated for the quality of service and actual food. The kids fried chicken bites - 2 for $139 and it’s given in a paper bag 1/4 filled? I can go on and on about how the toddler seat was disgusting but .. basically I won’t be going back.

Paz is a contemporary cafe with a very good variety of menu items and quite an elegant ambience. I found the portion size to be a bit smaller than expected for the price, but it's not uncommon for the contemporary style cafes, especially in the north. Great option for meeting up with a friend or colleague, but probably a bit pricey for large groups. Quality of food was generally good.

I lived the food. It was tasty. The outdoor patio was quiet and peaceful in the middle of a busy neighbourhood called Woodbrook. The only disappointment was the coffee.

I had a salmon bagel which was ok, my son had waffles but they were acceptable and I would be exaggerating. I look for international food and still have trouble when converting to my currency. All our breakfast was about $45 US. In my country for the same price I can get way more in a better category restaurant.

My wife and I frequent Starbucks but we decided to take a chance on PAZ and had a positive experience. The staff were quite friendly and the order to pick up process was seamless with their buzzers. the nitro cold brew was on point and I definitely recommend. The vanilla honey oat cold brew was a bit sweet. I had the breakfast sandwich which was decent - the bit of tomato and their spread elevated it for sure. My wife had the Korean tacos and found them tasty as well.

Went for coffee, stayed for the breakfast. The sourdough bread and cream cheese pairs excellently with the roasted tomatoes and greens. Eggs were tasty, and bacon and sausages were also well prepared. No complaints.

Moley is a cute little market place and cafe in the heart of the Petit Valley/Alyce Glen area. My experience there: Marketplace: The staff are friendly and helpful. In the marketplace there is a wide selection of snacks, drinks and other products. There are some locally made items on sale such as jewelry, books, candles, apparel and baked goods. Cafe: There is a decent variety of coffees, drinks and pastries. They offer non dairy milk options for your coffee and they also make bubble tea here. Dietary Options: On the menu there is a note that says there are gluten free options available. Non-dairy milk options: almond milk and oat milk. Kid Options: There are a few options for children such as eggs, waffles and pancakes. Ambiance: The eating area feels like a little tucked away oasis in the town. There is a lot of natural light and some greenery around the restaurant. It feels cool and the seating does not feel too compact for the size of the space. It can be a nice spot for a breakfast date. Remote Place to Work: Many creatives like myself are always looking for a comfortable space to work. In the mornings, this is a nice quiet space for a breakfast meeting or just to get some work done. There is wifi available and the lighting is amazing. I do find the pricing on the higher end so this would affect the length of time I would spend working here. Pricing: I do find the prices are on the high side. You can see them in the menu pictures I posted. Parking: There is parking at the front of Molay off the main road (Morne Coco Road) and a few spots on the side of the building. Accessibility: There is no wheelchair access from their car park. There are a few steps at the entrance. Inside the ground is leveled and a wheelchair can be somewhat mobile through the marketplace to the cafe. I have not had any of the brunch meals, crepes or breakfast items. But when I do I will update this review.

My friend and I went to this cafe based on a recommendation from another friend and I have to say that there was no disappointment. The security was very friendly and kind from greeting to send off. The marketplace is very interesting with lots of items to browse through. We were welcomed and served by polite and warm servers. The menus are simple and not overcrowded with too many options. The food was served very quickly, was delicious, refreshing and satisfying. The ambiance is soft and simple with a little corner for photo ops with a pair of painted butterfly wings. The cafe's layout is quaint and cozy. I would definitely patronize here again and definitely recommend anyone to experience it.

The location is a little tricky to park. The service was around 20 minutes for a to go wrap, which seemed excessive. The food was very healthy tasting. The restaurant is beautiful and inviting with a great little store and outdoor seating.

Visited Diego Martin/Petit Valley's newest coffee shoppe, Molay Marketplace & Cafe, today and was very pleasantly surprised. It's a wonderful space. As you enter you're in the coffee shoppe, where you get your coffes, teas and some lovely sweets and savory treats. To your right you have access to 3 area, all providing seating with 2 indoors and 1 outdoors. The marketplace provides an open space with many pickles and sauces together with a small to-go menu. I choose a spiced pork tenderloin with a pasta salad, but I also chose to enjoy a Cappuccino and mini Tuna Croissant. You will see my short review of the items purchased with each photo captions. Personally I'm in love with this space, first off it's IN THE WEST! I don't have to go to the other spots in Woodbrook, Chaguaramas or Maraval for a 'breather'. The ambiance of Molay is positively beautiful, I would even say it can compete with any of the other spaces. No wonder that it's already filled on mornings and afternoons. I'm also hearing breakfast is almost filled from Friday's throughout the weekend, lol. Lol, no surprise there. Well done to the team, I had a wonderful first-time visit and I was alone. I've been to this brunch spot a few times so here's my honest review. It's cozy and quaint. It's small so don't go with big crowds. The last time I went it was for mother's day and it was a disaster. No seats, no one managed the seating, so about 1 hr to get a table. With the chaos going on there isn't space for the traffic to walk to the cashier without squeezing through. The food is usually good but it took another 45 mins and didn't taste as it's usual. We had chicken and waffles, egg Benedict, and loaded berry waffles. The coffee was good. The prices were within range for a brunch spot. 6 of us and it was $900. Will be back again when it's not a holiday. Also to the staff, get a greeter or someone to manage the tables when you have special days.

A lovely stop in San Fernando. They offer a variety of hot and cold beverages, sweet and savory tea items and desserts in addition to a full menu for lunch. Alot of possibilities! A fantastic spot to stop for coffee with lovely options and a great conversation. The staff were friendly and attentive but also gave space. A great experience!

Smoked salmon and cream cheese eggs were great, no issues here. House brew/ drip coffee, and the French press was good.

Made a visit here for breakfast and it was delicious. We had the saltfish with the coconut bake and ordered 2 orders because it was delicious. Also had the banana pancakes and it was flourless which was delicious. Ordered a latte and it was well made and tasty. Wish the service was a little better but it was good. Also the place ks secured, so that helped while dining in.

The food was good for the price and our server was helpful. The passionfruit smoothie was quite good as well.

A family lunch date, 12 of us & they accommodated us in their air-conditioned diner, we took a window table(s). The seating was a little cramped, it could be called cosy. The chairs and tables could have been a bit more comfortable, the sort Nanny used to have in the kitchen / parlour, a bit old and dated. The coffee shakes & smoothies are great. I had a coffee shake and it was fabulous. Our group had a mixture of Vegan & Vegetarian food as well as meaty dishes. All very good, though a couple dishes were a bit salty. I had the Lamb Burger, Fries and Mac & Cheese, all very good, though the lamb was almost overwhelmed by the breadcrumb filler in the patty. The service was polite & efficient and provided the right amount of attentiveness. Overall we all enjoyed the meal and will come back again.

This restaurant is a little off the beaten path, especially if you're not from the south area. There are a few parking spots at the front of the establishment and more down to the rear. The restaurant itself is on the smaller side and very cozy. Upon entering we were invited to sit immediately, as tables were available. The decor is attractive and along with the small space, provides an ambiance for smaller groups of 3 - 4. The service was good, though only two staff members were visible to us. We had pasta and burgers which were ok, but the fries were just barely warm. Overall I would rate the experience as very positive and would consider visiting again if passing through the area.

The server was not attentive with no intermittent check-ins. Made errors in our order. To conclude our already horrible customer service, she was condescending when time to pay. To the short, light skinned, short hair server(didn't give us her name) , do better and serve ALL customers equally

For that quick fast coffee fix a must have , a wide variety to select from , but Baristas may need a more in depth training on mixing.

Rituals was my favourite go-to spot, my little escape from home. Even though a few other coffee shops came along later, this one will always be special to me and I just had to share.jamaican chicken patty, pastries,cookies,coffee esp mocha and cappuccino,chai latte and fresh options in summer are really good.

Great service, friendly staff and mostly quality products. They lost a star because their opening times isn't consistent and sometimes my chai only reaches just above half cup.

Rude staff, unprofessional as well as unsatisfactory desserts. Would not recommend to anyone. Came in ordered 2 desserts with a friend sat down to have it as a worker came and escorted us to 2 different places after saying we were taking up valuable space even though the place was empty and went at a slow time of day and week. We had beverages from another establishment they said we couldn't consume it there so we said okay and put it away and after doing so the worker came up to us asking to pour our sealed shut drinks in a plastic coffee cup of theirs, that was my last straw I told her no need and left because it became bothersome to not be able to sit at an empty restaurant for 5 minutes to consume a simple purchase from there not to mention that it was one of the worst desserts I've ever tasted.

I bought 2 of the Supreme cheese cakes and a chocolate fudge cake and when we got home decided to have our cake, it was a huge disappointment. It tasted nasty...the best was to describe it was like spoiled plastic? And these things were not cheap. Will never go back to this place.

Bought pastries and all were stale. The pastry dough was like a dense dough made of only flour. Waste of money and a lot of money at that. My partner got sick from it. Don’t buy.

I was always a fan of their desserts but today I was totally disappointed. To be honest, I have not patronized this establishment in the last 4/5 years so I decided to give it a try today. I purchased the key lime cheesecake and macarons….both of which were awful! I really hope this was just a fluke and that their standards are a lot higher in general. If not, close down and start again!

Very good service. Family friendly. The tables are a bit close, but we were still comfortable with the stroller. Portion sizes are ok. I liked the little pita chips on the side that came with everything. Try the smoked salmon baguette with the iced coffee. It's my favourite.

Many items on the menu are always unavailable. The vegetarian options are limited. The food itself is less than average with respect to taste, texture and quantity of fresh ingredients. The time from ordering to presenting is long. The staff is helpful.

Bought some chicken puffs which were some of the most tasteless pastry I ever ate. I would have been nice to taste even some chicken and any seasoning or spices other than mayonnaise

Very peaceful generally and free wifi is useful. Once there was dsncehall and I had to use my phone to play guitar jazz for the same ambience I loved before.

Great restaurant. The only thing i didnt like is that it has a tiny bit of background noise and it has no outdoor seating. Other than that, wonderful! They gave pictures to color while waiting for food.

This cafe offers color pencils and a choice of different coloring pages to color while you wait on your order. They even have a sharpener with the pencils. There is also different difficulty levels with the coloring pages. I totally enjoyed this activity and I have no idea how long it took for my order to be ready and I didn't even care because I was having so much fun. It was a lovely different experience.

Come for the ambiance and exceptionally friendly staff. The handcrafted drinks are a highlight and the food is pretty good as well. Reservations recommended.

Had breakfast here in October, enjoyed the atmosphere outside on the concrete tables and benches. There is parking in the bank parking lot. The staff were very warm and friendly. The coffee here is pretty generic. The waffles were good, the texture was very cakey but I enjoyed it. They spray whip cream in a little cup that they rest the hot waffle, after a minute or less it melts leaving it looking quite unsightly. One of the two Waffle maker machines was broken that day so there was a little wait for my order. I tried a couple of the dessert bars but I wasn’t too impressed. The cheese danish is actually nice but a bit pricey. Five stars for the nice atmosphere in the morning.

I bought a slice of chocolate cake for $36 dollars two weeks ago for my wife who loves chocolate cake. The cake was obviously past its time with everything besides the chocolate being dry and hard. Please do not sell customers expired cakes.

The sign on the door shows incorrect opening hours. Visited several times during their published opening hours, only to encounter locked doors. They look at that sign every day when they go to work, how could they not notice that the sign is incorrect ?

I believe ONE of the secrets to Ali's Doubles Barataria is family love and dedication. During the early dawn hours, it’s not unusual to see long line of cars parked along the southern side of Fifth Street #Barataria, between 8th and 9th Ave. In fact I’ve joined them many a time and the results is always trés yummy. The Ali’s name has been associated with doubles since being established in 1936, when members of the Ali and Emam-ul-Dean families wedded and from this union those family trades, one is in making a deliciously seasoned #Channa and the other in serving split-peas #Baras, also united into channa being served on a single bara together. This new dish was sold on bicycle, fitted with a tray for the box of goodies, mostly in South Trinidad, In later years many who came to purchase this wonderful fast food would ask the vendors to, “double it up” for them, so they would it like a sandwich, two baras with channa in between, causing this new twist to be called, “Doubles”. Araby Ali’s Doubles has always had a great appeal and has been feeding the nation everyday for THREE generations, over 50 years at that very spot at 71 Fifth Street, Barataria. His location even entered and won the National Doubles Competition in 1995. They now serve hot Doubles as well as various vegetarian and meat pies(potato, fish, chicken and beef), together with other Indian delicacies such as Sahena, which is available from Thursday to Sunday and you can also enjoy tasty #Pholorie, #Kachori and #Baiganee on Weekends. Best doubles I have had, and Araby and his family are amazing hosts. Coming from Canada, I typically wouldn't have ventured too far from the norm but once I heard this family invented the doubles, I had to try them. And it was absolutely worth it.

Their Doubles was so soft and fluffy left me wanting more. The Bighan Pie was Chef's Kiss. A combination of crispy dough mixed with savory, sweet and spicy filling and dressing. So wished I ordered more. Great Customer service 👏🏾 and very orderly.

I don't know if the owners of this establishment ever taste what they give out but this isn't it. I've lived close enough to see hordes of people lining up for this doubles only to be massively disappointed when I visited to taste them myself. This might really be an anomaly of getting customers based on what it used to be in the past or either hopes and dreams as I can only liken the taste to what you might expect a foreigner in canada to prepare for you. It tastes atrocious and is sadly one of the worst tasting doubles I've ever had thus far.

Ali's comes from a very long tradition of " Doubles." They have been , in fact, associated with it's origins and ubiquity. The service is always efficient and friendly. Gourmet doubles, if it could be described that way, can find no better representative than this. Something else to note - The bara is especially fluffy and divine. As a visitor, I strongly recommend you start here first.

The server was not attentive with no intermittent check-ins. Made errors in our order. To conclude our already horrible customer service, she was condescending when time to pay. To the short, light skinned, short hair server(didn't give us her name) , do better and serve ALL customers equally

Freshly prepared, well priced Breakfast. We ordered the garden omelette and a portion of french toast. Some Chai and caramel latte. The omelettes were very filling, generous portion with toast and some green salad on the side. The french toast portion had 6 slices witj cream and sauce. Friendly attentive waiter. Quick service. This outlet has plenty of seating. Chai: both cups were too sweet and needed some hot water. Sadly tasted like an instant chai. Thats the only negative comment with our order.

Rituals was my favourite go-to spot, my little escape from home. Even though a few other coffee shops came along later, this one will always be special to me and I just had to share.jamaican chicken patty, pastries,cookies,coffee esp mocha and cappuccino,chai latte and fresh options in summer are really good.

For that quick fast coffee fix a must have , a wide variety to select from , but Baristas may need a more in depth training on mixing.

When you arrive at this destination ...the outside doesn't match the inside...the inside is so magical....kids and adults would enjoy the ambience. It was nicely decorated as we went close to Halloween The food is great portion sizes and the taste was awesome. Service was good and professional but friendly I would recommend going

Food was dry, meatball was so dry as if it was cooked days before and reheated. Pasta had no taste. Food was really bad. We actually did spoken to two of the servers and they just brushed it off as if it was a normal thing. Spent more than 1200tt by you all and it was extremely disappointing and no one cared.

Central dining at its best. Food quality and prices, great! Nice atmosphere, keeping with the theme. They even have a witches broom and wands from Harry Potter movies 😍 Everything was fantastic except for the music genre that is if you're into "Beauty and Beast" songs on repeat Ha !!!!! Went for brunch for a girls lime. We ordered before we got there so the food was served very quickly. I really enjoyed it. Delicious breakfast items at very reasonable prices. I would definitely return. The atmosphere gets 4 stars as it was a bit noisy. Some acoustic treatment would help. The theme and decor goes with its name. Mythical.

This place is very nice especially for kids. It's a bit on the pricer side but overall a wonderful experience.

We visited as a party of nine, and overall the experience was barely satisfactory. The food was underwhelming. The chicken tenders lacked flavor, and the shrimp scampi was a poor attempt at the classic dish—I had to add salt twice just to make it somewhat edible. The kids’ spaghetti and meatballs were just okay, but the meatballs were so dry, stiff, and firm that they posed a genuine choking hazard. On the positive side, the drinks were the highlight of the meal, and the Caesar salad stood out as the best dish. The other items on the table were only tolerable thanks to the ever-present “savior” white sauce. The ambience is the restaurant’s strongest feature—family-friendly and inviting. Unfortunately, the food quality would make us reconsider returning.

They mostly serve roast bake on mornings now and it is very hard and one morning the were serving roast bake and the were hiding to fry bakes away on the side for some. I don't know if it is a favouritism kinda vibe but the roast bake is HARD
