The Dunes was a truly wonderful discovery. We were just wandering by and thought we’d check it out (somewhat reassured by the high rating on Google.. something we were delighted to find was well deserved). The food is outstanding.. and the service is even better! (With a special shout out to Mason). I can highly recommend the Kingfish Sashimi, which was as good as any I have ever had.. and the Fish and Chips was also a show stopper! I cannot recommend the Dunes highly enough if you are looking for a place to eat in Palm Beach/the Northern Beaches

Absolutely phenomenal. Flawless. Food was incredible, service was just as good too. Not cheap but worth every cent. Even the fries were all hand cut and without a doubt the best fries I'd ever had. Oyster tasting plate is a must as well. Kids meals were just as good too. Will definitely be back again!

We had lunch here for my birthday and everything from the food to the service was excellent and made the day really special! The oysters were a knock out but we loved everything. Make sure you get yourself a margarita while you're there. They were great too! We're already looking forward to the next occasion and coming back here!

Dunes completely exceeded my expectations! The food was absolutely amazing , every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The service was immaculate, and the staff couldn’t have been more friendly or attentive. The whole experience was just perfect from start to finish. I’ll definitely be going back again… and again… and again! 👏✨

We recently had our wedding reception at Dunes Palm Beach, it is was honestly everything we had hoped for. Steffi, Tilly and the service team were all so helpful, thorough and super efficient with communicating and planning (including my many last minute changes). They made the process so seamless for us and the vendors. There food + drinks were 10/10 and very filling. They have also made the atmosphere so romantic, warm yet fun. I recently had the pleasure of photographing Mia & Riley’s wedding at Dunes and honestly, what a place!! If you’re looking for laid back, coastal vibes that are elevated, this is the venue for you. The team were so attentive and it was so fun to be able to get portraits around the venue but also down on the beach. Decided to go for a drive to Palm Beach and originally wanted to have brunch at Dunes. Unfortunately it was packed so we decided to have a light lunch at Dunes kiosk. Service was great and attentive and kiosk was nice and clean. Got the fish and chips and the grilled chicken burger. The fish was nice and flakey and the batter on the fish was nice and crispy, however it had a weird aftertaste to it (like an old oil kinda taste), however I know that it wasnt… just a weird taste. The chicken burger was nice enough and did the job. Chips were fantasic, scenery was nice and outdoor seating was plentiful. Heaps of paid parking right infront, and yes, I saw parking inspectors so you definitely have to pay. Was down the road from Barrenjoey lighthouse.

My husband & I drove 1.5 hrs for lunch today and I must say, it’s worth the drive here. The place was aesthetically pleasing. So pretty and chic. The staff were welcoming with smile & very polite. They gave us table by the window overlooking the water which we really appreciated. Food was good. We shared the Bucatini Vongole Pasta as entree. My husband really liked it. We had their special Steak Frites as mains and Snake Beans as side. Steaks were tender, fries were crispy and snake beans were crunchy. We also ordered Criollo Dark Chocolate Tart as dessert. It was divine. Glad we decided to came here.

It is located in New port, this is fancy restaurant for celebrating special occasions. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly,oysters are so delicious and fresh pasta is amazing. Some special wine selection you will find on wine list.

This was a slightly harder 5/5 from me. We loved the food and the atmosphere, and the young guy that was serving us (grandparents were jewellers) was great! Good conversation and friendly service. The only thing I’d say is that it’s probably a little overpriced. You definitely pay for the view and location. For that same amount of money, you could probably get better in other parts of Sydney. That said, still a 5/5 because it really was good. I’d still recommend.

Excellent customer service, and amazing atmosphere. Staffs were super attentive, polite and professional. The atmosphere was 10/10 with nice view and decoration. But food was not as good as what I expected. It was not bad, but it still needs improvement to be worth the price and the reputation.

Casual, yet elegant. Food is exceptionally fresh with a small well considered menu that also offer daily specials. One for seafood and steak lovers- with 2-3 excellent vegetarian options, and some terrific pasta. Best of all- everything can be shared. Staff are fun, engaging and look after you well.

We celebrated our engagement at Bert’s and it was absolutely perfect. A huge thanks to our incredible host, Lani, who made the night feel so special — from recommending standout dishes (the tuna tartare is a must!) to finishing with a handwritten card from the team. The service, the atmosphere, the attention to detail — everything was spot on. Thank you, Lani and the Bert’s team, for an unforgettable night. We’ll be back!

Overall rating: 4.75 stars, rounded up to 5. One of the best places in Sydney for a meal. Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. The only reason for not considering it a full 5-star is that it is quite far from the city but the prices are as high as what they would have been if this place was in the city. That being said, Bert’s is still definitely worth a visit even if it takes a while to trek up to Newport.

So this restaurant like like a typical premium westernised Mexican restaurant. The staffs looks professional, one of them was so welcoming and friendly. He also told me that the tacos are $5 not $8 like in the menu, idk why. I ordered scallops, fish taco, birria taco, and pork belly taco. scallops was alright from the presentation, nicely seared, but one of them was slightly undercooked but it’s fine for me, I also love their purée. Birria taco was ok but a bit warm (maybe because it’s sitting there to wait for another tacos. This birria taco doesn’t have a dip sauce. Fish taco was also good, not too dry. And the last one the pork taco. This is my favourite, but the chunks were too big and it’s a bit hard to eat, I know cutting thinly is very difficult after roasting, maybe they can pre slice it before roast or deep fry like Chicharrón. Place also looks beautiful and classy, they also provide a clean toilet. Also the kitchen located at end of the hallway through the toilet, so it’s semi open kitchen, customers can see the kitchen and it was really clean as well

Beautiful little Mexican restaurant! Not traditional Mexican but beautiful modern menu! Prawn tostadas are super yummy and the burritos are tasty and huge!

Whilst the food is delicious, the service lets this restaurant down. My partner and I have dined here twice and received poor service on both occasions. First time, staff eating behind the bar took their time to take our order and had to ask for water twice. Second time, three employees standing behind the bar having a chat had to request for our order to be taken to be dismissed and then served a filthy glass. Will never return nor recommend which is a shame as the food is lovely.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Alma Restaurant and I must say, it was an absolutely incredible experience. From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the inviting atmosphere and the aromas wafting from the kitchen. The menu at Alma Restaurant is a food lover's dream come true. With a wide range of delectable options, it was difficult to choose just one dish. However, I highly recommend trying the grilled corn, short rib dish, honey halloumi and coconut margaritas - they were all simply divine. What truly set Alma Restaurant apart was the exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my dining experience was perfect. Their attention to detail and their genuine desire to make each guest feel special is out of this world. I am already counting down the days until I can return to Alma Restaurant and explore more of their menu. It truly is a hidden gem that deserves to be discovered. Treat yourself to a visit and prepare to be amazed. Buen provecho!

The food at Alma is truly something special — every dish felt like it was made with love. The flavours were fresh, vibrant, and perfectly balanced. You can tell the team takes pride in what they do. The margaritas? Absolutely sensational — some of the best we’ve had! And a big shoutout to Bonnie, the owner, who was so lovely to chat with. Her warmth and passion for the restaurant really added to the experience. Can’t wait to come back!

We went to this place with a group of 7 as a friend of mine recommended ALMA and it was absolutely fantastic! The variation of the dishes, the super helpful staff and the great drinks - it has been a great experience. The Avocado-Taco and the Ceviche were my absolute highlights! Would definitely recommend, also for veggies.

It was my first time at this Mexican Restaurant. It was for my wedding anniversary and I must say that I got very impressed with the quality and tasty food. It was beyond my expectations. We had a 5 course meal tasting and the dishes were so well presented and tasty that it completed change my mind about Mexican Food in a good way. All the flavours mixed in such way that made a perfect balance. You can't miss this amazing Alma Restaurant at Avalon Beach. I don't have enough words to describe it. And what about the staff??? Simply unsurpassed!! Really friendly staff. The atmosphere and decoration invites to enjoy this great experience. Very well located at the heart of Avalon Beach. Opens till late. I will definitely come back again soon.

Great little place we discovered on the drive home from Palm Beach. The lady who served us was very friendly and helpful. The antipasto is a perfect entree and the pizza itself is fantastic. We had a half-half R2 & Tandoori Chicken. The R2 is one of the nicest pizzas I've had, love the dollops of sour cream on top. The Tandoori Chicken is great too, with an intriguing combination of mango, coconut flakes and Greek yoghurt in addition to the Tandoori chicken itself. Very nice atmosphere at the shop, I'd love to come back on a night when they have live music.

We had the best pizza of Sydney here. Liam is very kind and skilled person. The ambiance of the place is amazing. I do not remember the exact year this place was opened, but it is very old. Though this restaurant is 1.5-2 hours drive from my place but I would like to go there as many times as I can. They also told us that there is live music in weekends (if I remember the days correctly). Overall, I can give 5+ rating to this.

Came in after exploring Avalon for the afternoon. Services was extremely good and best pizza I have had in a while! Will be back!

My wife said 'This has to be one of the best pizzas I've ever had'...& I'm inclined to agree... We had The Oscar... Great atmosphere, nice music, eclectic, surfie, comfortable lounge style indoor & outdoor... Could do with a few more cushions outside... But overall amazing!

Honestly, I’ve been to a lot of places that serve pizza around Australia and this is definitely the best pizza i’ve tried here so far. I was a bit disappointed with how pizzas are made in Australia compared to as in Europe. But if you truly want to experience a good quality pizza, this is the best place without a doubt. Vibes are good and the place looks banging🙌🏽 Service 5/5 Defo recommend

These are honestly the best rice paper rolls I have ever tasted, and there is always some fantastic treat to be had. I ordered pork belly for Christmas Day, and they perfectly cooked three trays worth for me and were incredibly flexible for pickup.

Don’t usually write reviews, for fear of over populating my favourite eats, but my lunch was too good not to share! Felt like something lighter.. Just ordered a rice paper roll with crispy chicken! After watching Sandy make it all fresh in front of me.. I knew I was in for a treat!! Seriously next level!! Soo good.. perfect balance of texture and flavour!! Do yourself a favour.. get down there…

Absolutely Amazing food! As can be figured out by the 20+ person line waiting to order every time you go there! But don't be discouraged by that as the wait is most definitely worth it for the best Pork Belly Noodle Bowl in Sydney! 👌👌👌😋 Don't be late though as all the best dishes sell out quickly due to such high demand Also don't forget to try one of their epic baked sweets whilst you're there! 😁

We Lunched at The Joey, it was very busy due to the great location with awesome views across the bay, and we were greeted by a very friendly young lady. It was very noisy due to people all shouting louder than one another. The food we ordered came in a reasonable time considering the outdoor area was packed. I ordered the scallops which tasted great but appeared to be halved scallops or the most flattened I've ever eaten. And only 1 & 1/2 scallops for $36 was poor value. The sea trout on the other hand was pleasant enough but sides had to be ordered on top of the fish. Wouldn't return..

Great location right on the water with plenty of parking (ticket paid) out front. Can get busy here in the warmer months & particularly on weekends. We stopped here for lunch and managed to get a table immediately (no booking) on the deck area outside. Menu options are good and some interesting choices on the drinks menu (Japanese sodas). Rump Steak & Beef Burger were ordered and food was good with generous serving size. Food prices reflect the unique location. Service was efficient and friendly and meals didn’t take too long to come out after ordering. We were happy with our lunch and this venue is recommended for a relaxed waterside meal for couples or small groups.

Great location and really good service by the staff. *Food is terrible* Mushroom pizza was bland with no flavour/ seasoning.Caramelized onions were bad topping tbh. Passionfruit curl and southside were badly made. Pumpkin salad was okay at its best. Best item was plain chips as it cant go wrong -_-

Sunday lunch couldn’t have been better. The road trip was worth it. Friendly staff, summer vibes, delicious food - what else you need. Pumpkin salad and Benny’s Avo salad - clean, digestible and fresh. This won’t be the last time I’ll be here. AMAZING! Big tick of approval!

So finally made to this place and it was really nice. I always saw this place on my way to the Barrenjoey lighthouse and also attempted to give it a try but couldn't due to odd timing, some pre booked event, etc. This place is really nice with well spaced indoor and outdoor seatings. I prefer outdoor seating next to the beach and watch sunset. The staffs were very nice and also the food & drinks ordered were good. Was happy to be there!!!

We’ve had takeaway from here before which was great, but dining in was amazing. The service was top-notch, small things like my water glass never being empty is something I appreciate. The food was 10/10, maybe the best pizza’s we’ve ever had and to finish with the most delicious espresso martini!

Pocket Pizza, Avalon – Casual, Quirky and Comforting We dropped into Pocket Pizza Avalon on a relaxed evening and found it buzzing with locals and coastal charm. The vibe is casual and quirky, with a cheeky personality that doesn’t take itself too seriously, which pairs well with the menu. We ordered a gnocchi with beef ragu and it was well-executed. The Shroom for improvement pizza with truffle was rich and packed with flavour, the crust wasn't too thin nor too thick. Slightly overcooked but still delicious. The rocket salad was fresh and rich with parmesan. Hsyden our waiter was friendly and the team moved at a relaxed pace, which suits the area. If you're not in a rush, it's a nice spot to settle in with good company and bold flavours. Pocket Pizza Avalon isn’t trying to be fine dining. It's a neighbourhood spot that gets the job done comfort food, beachside attitude, and easygoing service. Worth a visit if you're nearby and in the mood for something unfussy but tasty.

Everything was amazing, the food, the atmosphere, cocktails and that ricotta.. who knew ricotta could be that delicious!! Shout out to our amazing waitress ROSIE, She was the star of the night. So kind and fast, she made our dinner even better.

I went here for my birthday, and the food was delicious. We particularly loved the limoncello spritz. My only critique would be the beef carpaccio had a tiny bit too much cheese, so the flavour of the meat was lost. I also really appreciated the staff serving up a banoffee pie with no banana, which I really enjoyed. The food arrived quickly, and the tunes were great!

Beautiful venue, super aesthetic aswell as amazing service. Even when I order a delivery it’s always on time or quicker. Especially Hayden the new manager at pocket pizza always keeps the vibes flowing and customers happy.

5 star. We had a luncheon with friends, table for 4, end December. Such a beautiful experience on the eye, the palate & the surrounds. Delicious. I used to come here 20 years ago, same place, different hosts now. It lived up to its reputation of a gorgeous & humble place to dine. The stylish service was excellent, friendly & knowledgeable. The wine list has a simplicity of selection, yet a good selection & perfectly paired with the menu. Lovely to stroll on Clareville Beach after lunch. A treat for us to finish off the end of a year & bring in a new one.

We've only been twice (once for lunch, once for dinner), but the Clareville is fast becoming our local go-to Special Occasion/Date Night restaurant. The service is warm and welcoming, attentive and efficient, and the staff very knowledgeable about the menu and wines. The food is immaculately prepared, fresh and tasty, and the wine list is excellent, with some really interesting Italian wines. This is a vibrant and relaxed restaurant for locals and foodies. We love it. Highly recommended.

Honestly one of the best lunch experiences I’ve ever had. I’m not usually a fine diner, and while this isn’t fine dining, it absolutely feels like it. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive from start to finish, making the whole experience feel special. The menu was outstanding and when the food arrived it was beautifully presented and even better to taste. I just want to relive the whole meal again. Absolutely sublime and impossible to fault.

There’s some seriously great food being made at the Clareville under its new ownership and it’s only a matter of time before the place attracts serious national attention and a star or 2. The setting is, as always, lovely. Just a stones throw from the water, with ample free parking at night right out the door. Service has been lifted to a superb standard, and the technical quality, invention and taste in the dishes is up there with the best in Sydney, but without the city price tag. We had the set menu and it was superb, with staff having no problems adapting dishes for gluten free. There’s a very good selection of wines by the glass, and in Summer an early evening or lunch on the patio would be unbeatable. A great dining experience.

We spent a beautiful Sunday afternoon enjoying the degustation menu with wine pairing. Absolutely outstanding! Cooper’s menu is original and exquisite. All the staff are very knowledgeable about the menu and wines. We suspect they’re all sommeliers. Fantastic place for a celebration or an intimate meal. Highly recommend this wonderful little restaurant.

Such a special place for a celebratory lunch! We had the autumn/winter degustation menu with the matching wines. Each course was delectable in it's own right and the wines were different and interesting. The portions were larger than you would generally expect for a degustation. Such a wonderful experience and we'll be returning for their next degustation menu (though the regular menu looks to be equally delightful ;))

Had my Birthday lunch here with a bunch of friends. Food was great, staff were awesome and the place had a great vibe. Would highly recommend for an event or just lunch or dinner. Will definitely be back again. They were able to cater for a variety of different dietary needs without any issue and were able to deal with our booking changing multiple times throughout the week. Nothing was too hard for Andy and his team.

I hosted my 21st birthday at Bar Elvina in their upstairs courtyard and private function room for myself and 45 guests. The service from Claudia and Lucy was incredible, they were attentive, warm, friendly and very knowledgeable. They made sure the night ran smoothly, the canapés arrived quickly (and tasted amazing) and the drinks were flowing. I had such a fun evening thanks to the team at Bar Elvina and recommend them for anyone wanting to do an intimate but fun birthday celebration!

I’ve been here several times and the vibes are always immaculate! The fit out is chic but comfortable, and the attention to detail makes you feel a world away. The food is super fresh and beautifully plated, without being too fancy, and there is always a great range of natural and unusual wines on the pour that I don’t see anywhere else. Props to the team for making hospitality seem so effortless, when I know how much hard work goes in behind the scenes. Elvina deserves to be an Avalon institution!

It saddens me to write a review like this for a business, however we have had a shocking experience with Bar Elvina. Whilst our dining experience was nice, we were accidentally over charged $500 (for a large group). We understand mistakes happen and this is okay. However, it has now been almost 3 weeks since the booking and the refund hasn't even been processed. We were assured on the spot that the refund would be back in our account 2-3 business days. We have called the restaurant twice to follow up, both times with very vague responses and no urgency to process the refund. I have also sent 2 emails to the owner, however still no refund. Super disappointing and unprofessional as we are talking about a significant amount being overcharged here and no real care to re-imburse customers. Check your bill thoroughly when dining here guys.

The absolute cutest vibe and atmosphere. The staff are all very pleasant and friendly. The interior is gorgeous, coastal and light and the outside balcony is so open and lovely. The food is all delicious, especially the carrots, sashimi, prawns and lamb shoulder. At one point there was a cockatoo swinging around a sign and all the guests stopped to watch and laugh. It was such a warm atmosphere and a gorgeous place to eat. It also had an extensive wine list with descriptions of the wines.

We had the steak and the shoulder of lamb. Both were exceptional. Good to see they had local Avalon beer. The highlight was the Tirimisu. This was part of the First Table membership, (50% off for meals, no other conditions ) so the whole dinner was great value.

Amazing decor, vibe and delicious food. Could not fault everything that we ordered that night. The staff are really friendly and happy to have a chat or make recommendations about the menu. Loved the balcony section of the restaurant.

Great food with a world class view. The coffee is excellent and what a place to sit down and see either the sun or the storm roll in.

Honestly so terrible. The guy serving was so grumpy and had a terrible attitude, even though it's right next to a beautiful beach! Served "gelato" which was sad and deflated and extremely small in portion size, oddly reflective of his personality.

Lovely place. Stayed 2 nights. Excellent service. Great restaurant. Nice DIY breakfast and beautiful shared space upstairs for overnight guests. We had a room at the front which was gorgeous although a little noisy overnight due to passing traffic. The is an Ev charger in the car park across the road which was handy to charge our EV. Lovely region to visit.

While the restaurant is set in a beautiful location and the staff are friendly, the service was nothing short of terrible. After our entrees, we waited over 40 minutes for our mains, which then arrived separately and cold. To be fair, the food itself was tasty — but that was the only redeeming feature. The rest of the evening was marred by a complete lack of attentiveness. We had to ask three times just to place our order, and when the bill finally arrived, we were overcharged by $65 on one item. For a venue that presents itself as a quality dining experience, this level of service is simply unacceptable. We won’t be rushing back

The food at Barrenjoey was great, and the staff seemed generally nice, but the service was really poor. There was a noticeable level of bias that left us feeling overlooked. Another group was given colouring books for their kids, had their table fully prepared with cutlery, and were checked on several times while we had to ask for basic things like cutlery and never received a single check-in. It felt disorganised and dismissive, which really took away from what could have been an enjoyable meal.

On Sydney’s Northern Beaches, a quiet midweek ritual has emerged: the French-inspired tradition of steak frites. My recent visit to Barrenjoey House proved a revelation—particularly when set against my last experience there, some twelve months ago, which was nothing short of disastrous. This time, however, it was a 180-degree turnaround. The restaurant has clearly rethought its approach to both sourcing and preparation. The rump steak, once inedible, was now of excellent quality—close to gourmet. For that, the team deserves real congratulations. A few refinements, however, would elevate the dish further. Serving a solitary leaf of rocket alongside the steak might nod to the minimalist French aesthetic, but as a main course accompaniment it feels inadequate. The fries, too, were fair at best—slightly underdone, and with chips, it’s always better to err on the side of crispness rather than softness. As for the sauce, it was serviceable but uninspired. On a night devoted to championing the rump steak, a classic béarnaise would provide far more character and flourish. Yes, it is costly and technically demanding, but with most diners ordering the same plate, it seems an investment worth making. Barrenjoey House has rescued its signature dish from mediocrity and reintroduced it as a meal worth seeking out. With a little more boldness on the accompaniments, it could become a genuine local classic.

This is a nice place, but we didn’t have the best experience here. There was a very loud water feature outside our room running until 4am and another guest started banging on doors about 3am. The food was very good, but the table service wasn’t great. Great location. I hope others have a better experience.

If I could explain my experience in one word, it would be the word 'lousy'. Great location, and the decor was great, so I won't give 1 star. However, even though the staff weren't rude, they seemed pretty inexperienced. Reason being they weren't attentive unless it's your birthday (had most of their staff singing happy birthday whilst the rest of the tables left unattended) and it took too long for anything to come to the table. Whether it be the entree, drinks, the main meal, or deserts. Just to put it persepctive. We decided what to eat in about 5-10mins, and it took us, from entree to desert, about 2 and a half hours to get through all that and ask for the cheque. This calculates at around an average wait time of 35 minutes per course. Mind you, we only order one entree. The table wasn't fully decked out with food. Only one piece of crab toast took that long. Pretty much, most of it was just waiting. Waiting to be served and waiting for the food to come. Eating took around 10 or so mins each course, and so did the drinks. No one explained the meals properly either. Tables weren't cleaned efficiently as you would expect when you're paying around $40 per dish. The odd thing about this is that when i woud walk into a cheap thai restaurant, they would straight away give you glasses and water. You come over here, pay three times the price and still have to get off the chair, find someone, get in their face (because they look away when you try get their attention) just to ask for a jug of water, which should be a normal expectation to have that provided once seated. A cheap Thai shop understands. How come a high-end restaurant is still trying to learn this? Also, the food selection could've been more ample. There's not much to choose from. Maybe 5 mains or so (at least it won't take too long to choose a meal). To top it off, it took them longer than usual to clean the table, and once they cleaned it, they still left dirty cutlery there until the time we asked for the cheque and left. All negativity aside, great venue when it comes to ambience and style. Location, absolutely fantastic. Staff...questionable and pretty much makes it not worth going. This place would probably not last too long if there was more competition in the area. Lucky for them, the venue has maybe 1 to 2 competitors in the area. Otherwise, I see a change of ownership for the place real soon. I hope management can really sharpen up this place. All it takes is properly trained staff and a slightly bigger menu and then, this place would be 5 stars automatically.

Food was quite good, service was terrible. We had to get up and find someone to come and order our food because they didn’t get someone to come to us. We had to get up again to ask to order more drinks. Glasses and plates weren’t cleared the entire time we were there. Food took a long time to order, portion sizes were small for the price. There isn’t any baby change facilities which isn’t ideal for a family friendly restaurant.

We had a wonderful breakfast at Coast Palm Beach Café and absolutely loved it! It’s a cozy little café with a warm and inviting atmosphere, making it the perfect spot to start the day. The interior design is stylish yet relaxed, adding to the charm of the place. The food quality was great—fresh ingredients, well-prepared dishes, and delicious flavors. The coffee was also spot-on! The staff was friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. If you’re looking for a peaceful spot with good food and a great vibe, this café is definitely worth a visit. Here I am again! One of my favourites in the area. I come here every time I visit the Palm Beach. Very chilled and cosy atmosphere, friendly staff with great service. Food is simple, delicious and understated. I've tried almost everything on the menu. Lamb Gyro is a personal favourite - so juicy and tender. Their Deluxe Bacon and Eggs roll is also the best - simple things done just right and the result is amazing. And you pretty much can't go wrong with any of their burgers. I only wish I live in Sydney so I can visit them every weekend.

Coast Palm Beach is a fantastic coffee spot! It has such a cozy ambiance that makes you want to settle in and stay a while. What really stood out was the excellent customer experience the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Definitely a great spot for your coffee fix!

We had the Fish and Chips, BLT and Baramundi with Turkish Bread and it was so yummmmmms~~ Highly recomend their fish and chips, and I would says it is one of the bests I have eaten by far! Crispy, fresh, juicy and fluffy chips!!! Their mocha is really delicious too. For dessert, the chocolate ice cream was really good too! Service was good and the people was super friendly and nice. There will be a bit of a wait during peak hour but that is understandable. 10/10 will be going back there soon.

We were out on a drive to get some fresh air and a break from the summer rains after a very wet week. Stopped here for lunch and ordered Mango smoothie, cleanser juice, grilled salmon, potato chips, Greek salad and a Superbowl of quinoa, lettuce, poached eggs and peas. The most expensive item on the order was the salmon and it tasted like it was fried rather than grilled. Not sure if we would have it again! The Greek salad and quinoa salad was so fresh. The drinks were okay.

Coast in Palm Beach you are refreshing, relaxing beach feel. Staff very friendly, food is tasty and fresh delicious seafood. Great cocktail!! Recommend as your new local or just to try something new. Look forward to coming back, to try something different.

After reading the reviews, I’m just simply disappointed. The pizzas are average at best, straight up get more enjoyment from a frozen meat lovers pizza. They’ve also got some “Eshay” working the front, but I approve the Aussie kid, good service.

Last 4 visits completely dreadful. Soggy bases & not delivering on toppings. On top of that they have the nerve to add a 1.5% surcharge! Service is woeful. Order elsewhere if you can!

So i ordered the michaelangelo bieng a fan of a rucola prosciutto, gorgonzola, pizza i thought this variation would be interesting.. Needless to say, it was packed with so much flavour i finished the whole pizza and the crust was alittle thick to my liking but it was slightly crisp and had the the lightest kiss of chewiness in the dough which to me is a big thumbs up. Then the tiramisu happened. For so little ingredients its amazing how many italian resturants charge big money and dont get it right. Fortunatley - this tiramisu was belissima! And the double dusting of cocoa although a - little touch - added a nice depth that married really nicely with the espresso soaked biscuit and its such a sweet dish the bitterness of the cocoa balanced the flavours beautifully. Also genuine friendly staff.

This was the longest I’ve ever had to wait for food at any restaurant — and the worst part is, the restaurant wasn’t even busy. We arrived a little after 6pm and there were only a few tables occupied. After placing our order, we waited for an entire hour without receiving a single dish. It wasn’t until my husband went to the kitchen to follow up that someone told us to wait “five more minutes” — which turned into another fifteen. What’s even more unacceptable is that the staff couldn’t even distinguish between mango sticky rice and plain rice — in a Thai restaurant! I ordered mango sticky rice and was told there was no mango. As for the plain rice we ordered to go with our meal, it didn’t arrive until two hours later, and it tasted terrible — worse than airplane food. As a local resident of Avalon Beach, this was my first time dining here, and it will definitely be my last.

While I previously enjoyed dining at Bangkok Avalon, my recent experience ordering delivery food was very disappointing. I placed an order at 5:05PM and received an email at 6:46PM (14 minutes before expected delivery) notifying me that the restaurant had cancelled my order as they were “too busy”. I felt disappointed by their unprofessional behaviour and poor communication. I have since placed an order with Sea Wave Thai Restaurant and will not be returning to Bangkok Avalon.

The chicken skewers, the chicken was tender and juicy with plenty of sauce. Downside was slightly too salty The Pad Kee Mao was portioned accordingly and would have been nice if by standard (according to the chilli on the menu) be actually a bit more spicy, but overall is a recommended dish The Massamun Neua has a sufficient portion and the beef was tender and easy to chew, again the sauce was a bit salty Roti was recommended by the wait staff to complement the Massamun Neua sauce, and the roti was not too oily and easy to eat There wasn't enough alcohol in the Tequila and way too much ice

Great meal at Bangkok Sidewalk today! Sam, Mimi & Nick used to have the Thai restaurant in Narraweena & we ate there often. They moved to Avalon so we drove there for lunch today for some of their yummy Thai food. Narraweena's loss is Avalon's gain!!

We had Green Curry, make your own duck in ginger sauce, nice nibbles ( spring rolls, rice paper rolls). Yummy all around. Great service.

I stopped here for lunch today. A great range of sandwiches (freshly made) on the menu. Coffee was great and sandwich was served in generous portions (thick fresh bread & plenty of filling). I had the meatloaf sandwich today. This cafe closes around 2pm which is a shame if you’re after a fairly late lunch. Good spot to sit on the outside tables and watch the Northern Beaches world go by. Good options for close curbside parking for motorcycles too.

Good portion size on everything ordered. Berry Muffin was huge. Best OJ $13 for a full milkshake size drink. Smashed avocado, breakfast wrap and corn fritters were yum. Closest Cafe to Palm Beach Ferry.

Overcharged on my bill by an older woman, who appeared to be in charge. (Luckily I asked for a receipt as proof of payment, although she found it an inconvenience). No reason given and no apology! My overcharge money was dropped on the counter as she walked away. Not good service! Long wait for takeaway burgers. Other people after us were receiving their orders before us. I asked if our order would come soon as we didn't want to miss the ferry. I was then told they would begin cooking it. Other staff were very helpful. Fortunately our food was very tasty.

Wonderful home cooked lunch at this lovely little Cafe. Friendly prompt service & just a few minutes walk from the ferry. Afterwards we walked up the stepped pathway that leads to Ocean Beach almost opposite this little cafe. Will definitely be back!

Potala Kitchen is hands down one of the best restaurants I’ve ever visited! I come here often with my family and friends, and every time, the experience is fantastic. The food is authentic, flavorful, and always fresh. From momos to thukpa, every dish feels like a comforting home-cooked meal. What makes this place even more special is the owner – a truly humble and respected Tibetan gentleman who treats every guest with kindness and warmth. His hospitality adds to the welcoming atmosphere, making Potala Kitchen feel like a home away from home. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food and a wonderful dining experience! Bloody 10/10!! My wife and I got a takeaway here on a Thursday night. We had : Pork dumplings with chilli oil Butter chicken curry Sizzling garlic beef Prawn crackers 2x roti Crabs rolls Far out! Everything was so flavourful. The dumplings had a nice spice to them but not too much that it took over the dish, all whilst tasting great and cooked perfectly. I could've eaten 47 of the crab rolls, they were super tasty. The butter chicken curry wasn't a classic tasting butter chicken that I'm used to, but very tasty nonetheless. The sizzling garlic beef was an absolute winner of a dish. Prawn crackers and roti were the prefect match for what we chose and went with each dish. The girls on the front desk were nice and helpful, and the chef was one of the nicest and most humble men I have met, I believe he is the new owner. Congrats on making some great food!

We also ordered the butter chicken which is a nice curry but not the classic “butter chicken” we’re familiar with. Great little neighbourhood spot. The food is so fresh and delicious and made from quality ingredients; we ate heaps and didn’t feel bloated or heavy afterwards!

I had the crispy pork belly with Chinese broccoli and it was delicious. There were a couple of other people in the restaurant and phone orders kept coming in, but the food came out quickly. The lady who served me was very enthusiastic and happy too. Only reason it's 4/5 (I'd do 4.5 but it's not possible) is because I had to pop my head into the kitchen to ask for a table and also to pay, as that's where all the staff were.

Today was a special day as my wife and I went to Palm Beach Golf Club for her 60th birthday 🎂 🎁 celebration. We had champagne 🥂 on arrival and had the most amazing light lunch. The view from this venue is excellent and very relaxing for the start of our day. We came across on the ferry from Ettalong to Palm beach which was great jumped on bus from wharf and stopped outside the club. After brunch we head out for walk along golf course to the headland.

Terrible. Was great in the beginning but ended up being horrible due to management not offering good will. Customer service team were nice and friendly but not management. Asked if I want to renew and I said if they can’t sort out my other issue with my ticket then why would I go ahead and pay for more and myself into that situation again ?! Just absurd. They said they can extend it for 2 months but I told them my mom had surgery and had 2 emergency falls. I also paid 2 payments for 2 lots of membership annually and got as part of the deal 2 vouchers to use but just this year had alot of personal challenges was then told because they expired that they cannot be used. But I’ve never used them. Just horrible. No good will. Don’t want to go forward and renew for anymore memberships and I told them they’re legally scamming my money and I will put it on google review as feedback to warn others also also if it happened to them then they would definitely be unhappy so why would it be different? I am a Northen beaches local too and just not happy with the way the manage Nikki has run the place Renee , Jacob from customer service are amazing ! No issues there

Located in Palm Beach on Barrenjoey Road, La Boca Palms exceeded our expectations! The talented chef and owner takes time to create each dish to perfection! My husband and I shared the tempura prawns starter… we enjoyed every morsel and could happily have devoured an entire plate each! They were not deep fried in batter - they were seared, bursting with flavour and hands-down the best tempura prawns we’d ever eaten! We both had the chef special as our mains… grilled barramundi fillet served with potatoes and broccolini! Again, every bite was flavourful and completely delicious! We devoured everything on our plates. Dessert was a mouth-watering warm brownie served with ice cream. I cannot recommend La Boca Palms enough! Lovely ambience and outstanding food and service! Do not miss this local gem!

Ate here last week, we had a lovely table outside on a hot summers night and were looked after by the staff - they don’t miss a beat. Food came quickly and was delicious. Some music would be great outside during the summer months for customers to enjoy!

This store didn’t deserved a single star. I visited Subway Monavale today at 3:10pm, specifically to try the new item on their menu, but my experience was far from pleasant. I clearly ordered the new Subdog even pointed the photo on the menu, but when the food arrived, it was completely wrong. When I pointed this out, the staff insisted they didn’t hear me correctly, despite my clear request. She even insisted she said steak which I didn’t understand or hear what she said. She only asked me for the sized that’s what I remembered. She asked someone, I believed that’s the manager and she even agreed with her. The lack of attentiveness and poor service left a bad taste in my mouth and the food was poorly prepared and ended up in the bin to fact that’s not the one we want. It’s a total waste of money and time and full of disappointment. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and I won’t go back on that store again. They should have refund or exchange it with proper one. The Subway management needs to look at how they operate on this store.

So for over a year the Mega Combo costs $26.50 but adding a ham cheese and tomato jaffle, meatball mozza pot or southern style chiken bites adds an additional $99 to the cost. Yes $125.50 for a footlong, drink, 2 cookies and 1 of 5 sides (3 costing x3 the cost of the combo).

I asked for a cup of water, the girl told me they don’t do that. That they don’t have a cup while standing next to a bunch of lids. I had just bought a foot long and she wouldn’t give me a cup of water I thought all cafes had to give out a cup of water.

Ordered via Uber eats. I've asked for all veggies to be included. They did not put any cucumber, capsicum or onions. For $22 including delivery it's disappointing.

I went to Mona Vale Subway a few weeks ago and had a really average experience. Thinking it might have just been by chance I thought I’d try again yesterday. It was the same … if not worse. The girl who served us not only lacked energy, communication skills and enthusiasm she carelessly threw the food together with minimal ingredients. I was compelled to ask her if she was ok? I understand that some people may not enjoy their work or workplace but this was certainly something extra. Ordinarily we enjoy Subway .. please do better Mona Vale!

Second time my son has had food poisoning from this Subway. First time I went in and complained. Fell on deaf ears. Don't eat the chicken! Or just play it safe and go to a different Subway!

What an absolute gem! Cosy, warm, great friendly staff, great selection of drinks, nothing else is needed to spend a quality night here over the weekend with friends or your better half. We will definitely come back to this lovely spot. What a good find!

Been here twice. First time female staff member chased us down the road claiming we hadn’t paid the bill when we had. Second place was empty, we struggled to get service. Then the guy who I only can assume was the owner thought it was amusing to make totally inappropriate comments about one of his staff members.

Wow .... What a great cozy friendly little find this was. Great cocktails absolutely delicious made with old school service chat and a story. Great background music just enough to set the tone for the evening. I went with a few girls and was a great place to sit and chat and laugh. Looking forward to going back.

It's my favorite bar on the Northern Beaches. If you are looking for a great place to catch up with friends or/and go on a date, that's the place. Beautiful drinks, great ambience and atmosphere. Surrendered by good restaurants, you can order food from next door and they deliver it to the bar. Friendly and competent staff. Amazing live music playing every Thursday night. The playlist in the bar is also great.

Best tasting fish and chips!! We ordered the seafood basket with an extra barramundi! The batter was super light and everything was crispy and super delicious! Well worth the drive from Sydney! Perfect lunch spot if you're just there for the day. There's free parking up the hill with no time restrictions, but just be prepared to walk 10 mins.

Fabulous spot for lunch or a snack the Barramundi battered is one of the tastiest I’ve had. The salads are nice and they make a great coffee. About 500metres from the water and wonderful views of Pittwater and not crowded. It’s a scenic bus ride from Manly and will take you away from the weekend crowd.

Stopped here only because of available parking en route to Barrenjoey Lighthouse and pleasantly surprised with superb quality of the food. From Brisbane (near the Bay so lots of fish & chip shops near us), this was as good as the best of our locals. Quick, friendly service - lots of staff on hand; near perfect calamari, tasty chips with emphasis on salting your own food - great idea!

Enjoyed a grilled salmon and chip pack today by Pitwater Park. We had a view of the waters from the shop which was pristine. Location - 5 stars. Beautiful water views, easily accessible with plenty of nearby parking. Customer service - 5 stars. Friendly staff. Our assistant was helpful and happily chatted about the different meals and ingredients. She also explained cooking processes. Certain fryers for beer batter and certain grill for Bacon. Chips fried seperate. Thank you Food - 4 stars. Price reasonable for location. Meal was served promptly. Salmon was cooked well and chips where hot on pick up. Would have appreciated a more generous serving, some extra chips. A Grilled Pack would be a nice introduction and so would an option for crummed fish packs.

Prices are reasonable for the area. The Fisherman’s Basket was $22 and had an ok selection of food. One of the staff was quite rude, however the rest were lovely. Great location with a beach and parking across the road.

We come here often & are locals. We either eat in or get takeaway. It’s usually quite good. Fresh food & friendly service. The last 4 times we have asked for a small amount of chicken salt on our family chips but this has unfortunately been ignored. There has been SO much salt that our kids can’t eat the chips & we end up throwing more 1/2 of them away as they are inedible. Hopefully this message will help you to reconsider the amount of salt used & when a small amount is requested to please listen. Thank you.

I was served by a young blonde girl named Sophie who was very kind to me and even suggested some of the more popular items on the menu. The food was great and the chicken was delicious. Overall great experience.

Not good things to say about this place unfortunately. Initially the service was good, the young girl was lovely! The restaurant was dirty and tables not cleaned! We sat down and within 2 min a huge cockroach walked across the ground then a second! We got our food and it was less than impressive. Chips were overcooked, dry and oversalted, no one ate all the food, chicken thin and dry, we got through half the burgers and threw the rest out THEN another huge cockroach crawling along the bench seat next to me! That was it I grabbed our food, threw it in the bin and left. Horrible! Needs to be reported.

Wanted to order a pizza tonight, but they don't have a phone number listed. I couldn't order online as I wasn't able to make the adjustments to the pizza I wanted through their website. Ridiculous they don't have any way to contact them by phone. Drove past and the place was completely empty. Went elsewhere. Edit: Just had a pizza from here last night and can confidently say it was one of the worst pizzas I've ever had. Each slice had approximately 2-3 pieces of cheese on it, and the sauce was almost non existent. It was a joyless experience and I didn't even come close to finishing it. Moreover, they advertise a deal for 2 pizzas for $27, yet fail to mention that Sunday surcharge is a whopping $5, not to mention the $1-3.50 extra per pizza depending on which one you order. Don't advertise that deal on Sundays if that's not what you're charging on Sundays, especially when the pizza isn't even worth half of the advertised price. Will never order from here again.

Have tried this place quite a few times since it was reopened and have now come to the conclusion I will not go back. They are always stingy with their toppings. The final straw was when we ordered one of their "premium" pizzas with chicken and bacon and couldn't believe what we received (see attached photo). If you want a good pizza hut go to collaroy, as they seem vastly better.

The food here is never bad but the traking is always wrong. I waited over an hour for my food only to have them forget my drink. When I finally go through and spoke to the manager asking for a refund and they said they were sorry and sent the drink out to me. Over an hour later and still no drink. I call again and the only solution was give was to have my name and details noted down and get a credit next but I'd have to try calling the store to get it or wait another 20-30 minutes for the drink. Little bit ridiculous. So just a head up if your ordering from here be prepared to wait a while for your order and thats if they get it right the first time.

Wow! The service on Wednesday, just amazing I HAD to ask the servers name. The warmth produced by this already busy lady Maddy was 10/10. I am vegan and very strict by that and after just simply mentioning my food restrictions, Maddy took it upon herself to change each and every utensil. Great work Pizza Hut, VERY satisfied!

Lovat on the Beach. What a gorgeous setting, overlooking the sandy shores and crashing waves, with spectacular views of the ocean. A great place to meet a friend for a long lunch. We weren't hurried even though we were the last to leave. I chose the crackly pork belly which was huge and the crackling was crispy as it should be. My friend had the fish which was moist and fresh. I wouldn't hesitate going there again.

Amazing Dining Experience at Lovat! Lovat Restaurant offers some of the best food we’ve ever had! Every dish was absolutely delicious, with flavors that just melt in your mouth. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. The restaurant has an amazing vibe—warm, inviting, and perfect for a great night out. We went to this awesome spot right on top of Avalon Beach. Had a few drinks downstairs before dining upstairs for lunch. Beautiful view, great service and the food was delicious! A great little find with an unbeatable 180 degree view of the beach. You won't be disappointed.

The first time we went we were very impressed with the food and service and couldn't wait to go back. The second time, we were disappointed that the menu had changed and just wasn't quite as good. I also asked for my salmon to be cooked medium/ rare and it was medium/ well. Also, there could be more choices for dessert and they do not offer cappuccinos... just espresso. As for the service, the wait person looked like they were in high school and did not have any knowledge of the menu.

Good coffee blend. Packs a punch. Depends who makes it.. food selection varies, but it's mostly takeaway stuff; service is quite decent. Atmosphere is like any café with dogs around, since vets are next door.

Dry/old bread and dirty tables… We walked from table to table trying to find a clean table. With just 2 tables busy and two staff members serving (standing around), surely clean seating could be organised. Breakfast is getting worse; we haven’t been back for months and it seems like the kitchen just gave up. Avocado covered in thick and sweat chilli sauces on dry bread…

Our regular haunt. The staff are nice and genuinly interested in their customers. A wide variety of food includes wraps , meals, cakes and great coffee & drinks.

Great for kids, next to the vet so its handy for your dog. Food is not too typical and the coffe is good. They make handy take home meals too, which are pretty good

Just so lovely and local. Tommy's veg lasagna is boss. Staff are friendly and happy to engage in a chat when they're not too busy. Simple fare at a fair price.

A big surprise. It is a Japanese restaurant but a very good one. Decor is great and the space well laid out. Went with my wife and we loved it. Especially the food, not one had anything bad to say about the food and it was the best Japanese food we've ever had. The prices were reasonable as well. This place is much better than any of the restaurant in the district, although I assume it can get pretty busy on weekends or anytime. It would be popular when it gets to summer especially in the outdoor eating area. I recommend you book ahead. I hope they keep the standard up. I will be coming back again and again while it lasts. It's definitely recommended destination if you're in the area.

this new small cosy restaurant in Newport serving up authentic Japanese food. I really enjoyed all dishes, especially the sushi & Sashimi was super fresh and well presented. Also tempura was crispy enough and tasty as its just fried! We had lunch here, Lunch menu is great and offer variety, definitely will go back for dinner too! Modern & Clean & Friendly the customer service & Quality of food. Sora was fantastic!

Great vibes, food was great, highly recommend a pot of green tea with your meal. Bento box was great value and variety and the salmon carpaccio was so smooth and fresh fish cut.

I visited on the soft open day and ate udon and teriyaki salmon, and it tasted very good. The teriyaki sauce was especially delicious and the overall atmosphere was bright and cool. The dinner is not open yet, but they said to be open soon. I'm looking forward to it.

Hidden gem. Some of the best sashimi I’ve had anywhere. Delicious, and dishes with small interesting twists. Simply outstanding, if you love sushi/sashimi, absolutely do come here.

We had dinner last night at Sir Duncan. The food and service was amazing, Shaun was great at recommending which share plates went well together and matched our food with some delicious wines. Sitting outside for sunset was the perfect way to end the day. Cannot recommend enough. Excited to come back and try more things on the menu!

We have been to Sir Duncan a few times before, and thought Sean was nice and accommodating. Unfortunately, we were not impressed with our recent visit. We were told an hour before closing that we would only be able to purchase one drink, and after 20 minutes were refused any further service as they had packed everything away, despite the place being open for another 40min. It was very disheartening seeing the staff staring and whispering behind the bar at us, and overall was not a friendly environment.

First time at Sir Duncan’s a few nights ago and will definitely not be the last! We went for a special occasion as it looked a little more upper class but without being too snooty…Menu is fairly small but varied enough to keep everyone happy and don’t even get me on the spectacular wine list, whoooo! Food was beautifully prepared, absolutely delicious, and the music, atmosphere and service were all great. Already looking at dates to go back!

We’ve eaten at Sir Duncan three times, and it’s been excellent on all occasions. Last Friday we tried the new menu - again the food was innovative, generous portions and delicious. The young staff are helpful and the atmosphere is a good mix of fun/elegant. ( We have no problem with the allocated time for the booking ….others have commented negatively on this and most eateries do it now … honestly guys, the restaurant trade is so hard, they need to make it profitable)

Sir Duncan is a great addition to Newport. The food is fantastic quality, the cocktails and drinks menu is very well matched. The experience was impacted by feeling pressure to finish in time for the next table reservation. When booking we were aware of the time we had, and we were pacing ourselves for that. At exactly half way through our 80 minute time allocation comments were made about needing to vacate the table in time. We felt the servers have had bad experiences with other diners, but it really tainted our enjoyment. We will go back, but not at an early sitting. Great food, great options, service needs to be refined and if that is done this is a top place to enjoy.

Place is nice, staff are friendly but the food is just too spicy, maybe best to mention it on the menu. I couldn't finish the rice.

I have been here twice. The food is average but we mainly went for the gluten free Asian style food options. The second time we visited my husband and I received rude and quite frank worst service we have every experience. From the moment we walked in the lady serving us was very abrupt and not accommodating at all. My husband made a complaint about one of the dishes that came out (as it was very different to the dish we had the first time we were there and had basically hardly anything but sauce and 4 bits of tofu for $22). Needless to say the woman serving us was very aggressive and continued to argue. We had to walk away without eating. I have worked in customer service and I would never dream of speaking to a customer the way she spoke to us. I will be calling the manager tomorrow to complain.

Always a pleasure going to Yoda's with a greeting not only by the lovely Michelle and Brendan (owners) but by an ecclectic mix of decor and the spicy aromas of food cooking in the open kitchen. In our many visits here we have tried most items on the menu and have never been disappointed. Music nights are always a pleasure too as they feature many local musos! A must try!

Great food but hopeless service. We've been a few times but now only go at lunchtime when you've a better chance of getting your order done correctly. Had a few orders stuffed up or forgotten you see. That said though the food and ambience is very good. So perhaps great chef and rubbish management??

The food at Yoda is always great, however this time around one of their staff was shocking. She was rude and quite openly admitted that she didn't want to be there. Not very inviting.

Probably the worst customer service ever experienced while eating on the whole Northern Beaches for more than 10 years. A real shame as i actually enjoyed their food. But after our most recent encounter... Steer clear of this place!

We ordered for takeaway - beef rendang, and Singapore soup noodles with prawn dumplings. HNGGGG!! SOOO YUMMY...the rendang was soo close to my mom's! The broth was comforting and the dumplings were wonderful. Reasonably priced. Will definitely order again.

If you are in Newport, this is the place to be at. If you are somewhere else, go to Newport for Jayara's table. Indian food with a twist did not sound exciting to me as I usually look for authenticity. The original flavors for any dish were not compromised. Everything looked good, tasted good and we left the place as happy, satisfied, over eating people. The service was good. No complaint whatsoever. You have earned a happy customer in me and my family. We will surely come back for more :)

Our favourite Indian in the area. The chef/owner takes a lot of care with his ingredients and really takes care of the food. The manager/owner of the restaurant is also a delight. Great reasonably priced yummy Indian and Creole food. It may not be a 5 star venue, but it has a 5 star taste.

Ordered takeaway with my grandparents here and we all loved it! Super friendly staff and we enjoyed our light, flavoursome meals. Menu is highly interesting and I think my grandparents (who live locally, I do not) will be back soon! They also gave us popadoms while we waited in the restaurant, which was lovely. Keep up the good work!

Fabulous food. The chili vodka lime prawns and the Maratha lamb are a must try. Beautiful subtle flavours and lovely presentation. Unfortunately the service is slow, erratic and inattentive. Actually quite ridiculously horrible. We were asked if we wanted anything else i.e the bill after entrees. Then main course came and we had no plates or cutlery. We asked 3 times for more popadums. The venue is very noisy, cramped and hot.but we keep going back as the food is amazing and a big improvement on typicak suburban Indian cuisine. If they would only lift their game re service.......

After have a disappointing experince with Cheers factory I was reluctant to try another Indian but I had Indian craving on so I tried this place. I am so glad I tried them. The food tasted so fresh and light, not oil at all. The best Butter Chicken ever. They don't do naan but have some roti bread which was super soft. All in all great experinece and tasty food. We definiately be coming back.

Tried Menulog and this Jayaras restaurant as my inaugural - it arrived 30 mins Before time - but wished it hadn’t arrived at all - it was inedible. Onion Bajii was dry and hard and I threw it out. The Eggplant main was like Coles frozen cube veg in vaguely spice slop. The rice was bland over cooked and the naan dry and I threw it out with the rest of the dish. Kissed my $40 treat night disappointment good bye and will never use this joint again. Thank you for your response - I do know the difference between fresh and frozen/old vegetables being a vegetarian all my life. I have not at all exaggerated my Review. My menulog ordered Meal from Jayaras was very disappointing and a waste of money.

Went here for a spot of dinner with my partner after a long day at work on a cold winter's night. The atmosphere is nice and cosy - we were seated by the fireplace. We had calamari, scampi, roasted pork belly and a few other things. Overall the meal was "OK" - we weren't really wowed by the food and it didn't really have the kind of fresh, deep flavours you expect of tapas. The place always seems buzzing though so the locals seem to love it - maybe we didn't get the right things off the menu. All in all not bad, just OK.

worst restuarant experience we (a group of 14) have EVER had. i would not return if you paid me. from poor food, poor portions, and poor taste to atroshus service and extremely over priced. absolutely disgraceful. from mixed up orders to being made to feel uncomfortable when we dared to let them know the food was over salted. at one point we thought they redeemed themselves when they replaced our calamari after trying it themselves and agreeing only to be told our cake would be out in 5 minutes which arrived 45 minutes later (with a $8 corkage and cakeage). our drinks taking 20 minutes and 3 different people asking 4 of the staff on seperate occassions for their drinks on a humid hot night. from start to finish a poor experience nothing good to say.

For my first order I called up to make sure the order was correct. When I asked for the 10% discount for first order I was directed to the website despite the fact I wanted something different to what was advertised. Invariably the order was delivered incorrectly and my children. were not happy. I called to explain the problem and was not provided any compensation for the error that was made. I will not be ordering from here again. Lucky and Peps for me!
