Very good meat, excellent calamari and shrimp, and friendly staff. One star off as the waitress messed up the order and a guy kept coming to clean up our plates even though we weren't done with the appetizers yet. But otherwise I'd come back if in town again.

Came here on my birthday and after a fairly heavy day of eating, we only had mains and cocktails. My steak was a perfect medium rare, some more char/crust on the outside would have been nice but it was very tasty overall and I devoured it! The sweet potato fries were great, peppercorn sauce was lovely and the old fashioned off menu cocktail was great. The burger was pretty good too. Service was friendly and fairly quick, I will return and would recommend.

Very good beef, well cooked, packed with flavours! The bread that came with the chorizo could be improved. The chips were very good. Disappointed with the fries. Chimichurri good but overpriced. The crepe with Dulce de leche was delicious. The churros ok. The waitress were very friendly and attentive

Food is absolutely delicious. Worried about the price. Dont go. But it is worth every penny you will pay. Service is excellent. No polite and courteous. Me and party was planning the next time we are going to visit before we even left.

Absolutely gorgeous restaurant. Never been before but will definitely be back. Wonderful choice of food, plentiful, cooked to perfection and presented beautifully. The service was top notch, very attentive, friendly, gave good recommendations and was so kind. The ambience was lovely. No loud intrusive music or cramped seating. You felt that you were really being treated a proper spoil!!

All of the food was brilliant - except for the steak. The evening was enjoyable but I was left disappointed by the actual steak, which given the theme of the restaurant is surprising. Perhaps it was a one off?

The steak was pretty ordinary for the hefty price. You pay extra for sauces and sides. I tried the top range steak with sides and sauces for £50 but it didn't quite give me the taste and experience I was expecting. Maybe it just wasn't the day. Service was good but it didn't transform for the food.

Lovely staff and delicious food. We had booked online and mentioned in the comments box '2 vegan roasts please' (as we always like to give notice!) and they very kindly called to say the nut roast was not vegan but they can do the cauliflower chickpea balti pie for us. The roast was delicious. Best vegan roast we have had out in a long time. Carrots, parsnips and roast potatoes cooked perfectly.

Roast did not live up to expectations. However cauliflower cheese best part. Staff friendly. Atmosphere lovely.

I had a lovely catch up with a friend yesterday The food and atmosphere were wonderful I’ve always liked coming here. It is one of the best pubs in Horsham and since their refurbishment with extra seating area outside it’s even better

The old Green Dragon pub I remember from my younger years! Not far from The Carfax. Easy to reach. Big outside garden and a lot of seating inside. GREAT fish and chips and steak and kidney pie!

We were expecting a real treat a Sunday dinner in a great pub but NO : Cold food on both plates a side dish turn up after we reminded them of our order it lacked taste all round and definitely won't be going back .

Have spent many times in Horsham but first time here,was looking forward to, large glass of wine 8.55!!! well at that shocking price could only stay for one, rather buy a bottle and have in hotel room! Not the most welcoming..infact not at all from the outside looks cosy & friendly ,quite the opposite

I had a wonderful experience at Zeytin Restaurant! The food portions were very generous and everything tasted absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were incredibly friendly and professional. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for great food and excellent service :)))

Last week me and my girl friend visited to Zeytin restaurant. The foods are absolutely delicious tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned with a smoky flavor from the grill. The sides were just as good: fresh salads, fluffy rice, and warm balloon bread that paired beautifully with everything. I also tried kisir, cacik it was the perfect way to start the meal. To finish, I had kunafa , rice pudding which was served in the traditional style and made for a lovely end to the evening. Overall, the food, service, and atmosphere all came together for an excellent dining experience. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Turkish flavors and a memorable meal.

Zaytin is a true hidden gem! The food is full of rich, authentic Turkish flavors — the lamb, hummus, and freshly baked bread were all incredible. Friendly staff, lovely atmosphere, and top-notch service. Highly recommended!

The restaurant was amazing! The food was super fresh and incredibly delicious! The service was wonderful, Ella was super attentive to us! Overall just a great experience all around!

Indulgently delicious food, lots of veggie/vegan options and huge portions. We still talked about it on our drive home and I'll be reliving the joy of it for another day or two with my leftovers. Lovely atmosphere and excellent service too. Will have to make this a new dinner tradition when we pass through.

The setting is quite nice but food is pretty par for the course in my opinion. I was caught off-guard when visiting on a Friday evening and did not enjoy the Freddie Mercury/Tina Turner impersonator. It was incredibly loud which meant you have to sit and wait for it to finish if you want to talk to anyone on your table.

Waste of over £30+ Firstly we waited over 50 minutes for our food. Steak sandwich had about 4 pieces of steak in it and the mustard was horrible. The salad consisted of an entire bag of rocket. It didn’t contain the potatoes it was meant to come with and the chicken was dry. There also no dressing. Annoying when you have to spend over £30 for inedible food.

I would avoid this disorganised pub like the plague. Popped in for the lunchtime meal deal. What followed what shambolic, a 45mins wait in a virtually empty pub for two sandwiches and chips. Eventually when the food arrived my steak was swapped for a chicken BLT (not quite sure how they guess I would like this without consenting to the order change). I was then told by the server he thought he spoke to me, hardly difficult in an empty pub to get this wrong. My partner cheese toastie arrived which frankly resembled toast , hardly the ‘medley of mature cheddar, Gouda and Emmental with bechamel sauce’. This toastie looked panicked stricken. Overall £24.50 later feel robbed. No customer service just a meaningless ‘sorry’. Sort it out Greenking!

Alan served us today, he was absolutely amazing. He was very kind, & considerate and extremely helpful.Excellent service. Emily, at the bar, was also fantastic, , she recommended what’s good, on the menu and was very kind. The pub, is dog friendly, and has a great atmosphere. Really lovely place. A member of staff was so helpful in giving the child in our group an activity to do which was really helpful. Although he said they used to do colouring they didn’t anymore, a few minute later he turned up to our table with paper and crayons saying this was the best he could do. But it was amazing. Thank you.

Alan and Lisa created a really nice warm and friendly atmosphere and were very attentive to create an all round great vibe. A credit to the green king chain. Will return to Horsham for a relaxed look oasis of calm from a shopping trip. Drinks especially the level head were brought over as we had an infant and dog. Very kind and refreshing. Mila also delighted with her treat. She gives it 5 stars! Very warm fire. Tasty food as usual, but what really makes the trip worthwhile ,is the fab service of Lisa. Always friendly, polite, helpful and professional. She's an asset to the pub and my granddaughter adores her, as she makes the effort to chat to her too. Been going here for years and her service is always the same, even when working alone and rushed off her feet. I do hope the company appreciate and value her.

Had a lovely visit here you. always know what you're getting with a green king pub which is predictable quality and a good time. I had the fish and chips which was lovely and my wife had the burger. washed down with a few pints. Happy days can't go wrong well recommend it if you're in town.

Had a lovely meal out at Monte Forte for the first time. Food was quick to come out however service was a little slow; to take our drinks order, to clear our plates between courses. The American pizza also had a small amount of pepperoni which was rather disappointing, otherwise the rest was enjoyable.

Came for lunch with a friend at the Horsham branch earlier on today and were both were very impressed with our experience at the restaurant. Really great service from the manager (Aiden or hayden.. sorry i didn’t quite hear) Food quality was excellent- went for a classic margarita however they just got it spot on with the cheese and tomato ratio and the base was very tasty too! Pricing for the quality is amazing- a pizza or pasta and a soft drink in total was only £11 on their lunch menu. Also like how the restaurant is designed especially the downstairs area where they hold their events and bottomless pizza and cocktail evenings. We just had the best dinner at Monte Forte! I think our server was called Jack who was super friendly and great with our kids. The pizza was incredible!! The kids loved the kids menu and it was great value. It wasn’t our first visit today and definitely won’t be our last ☺️

Really lovely pizza and cannelloni. Staff are friendly and courteous. Carafes of water are handed free of charge, so no need to spend money on still water.

We're having dinner with the family and it's our first time here. As Italians, we can say that the pizza is good, juicy, and well-filled. I would like to thank the two waiters: Jack and Hayden, for the excellent service and their kindness.

I brought my daughter and myself to this restaurant on an impulse just walking past. Was seated immediately, served Aiden is very accommodating and cool. Food was served in a matter of minutes. Kids entertained. Atmosphere was busy but not overwhelming. Loved it.

Amazing pizza with an amazing lunch deal where you can get a massive pizza and a beer for £13.50! The interior is beautiful and the pizza are made fresh from the oven! I personally really like the honey pepperoni - the sweet and savoury combination is delicious! The pizza dough is also super soft and chewy!

Had the best evening for a team outing, Liam (or Noel as he was called for the evening) was the perfect host for our lively bunch. We started the evening here with a cocktail making masterclass and finished it back at the bar later after visiting various places around Horsham. The evening was a success and everyone had great fun. Thank you for having us!

Excellent for a quick bite to eat at lunch time or a longer stint with cocktails. Food, drinks and service was excellent. Doesn't quite get 5 stars as I would have liked a bit more choice on the menu which might be down to capacity and restrictions. It's great to see them back open and we will definitely be back. 👏

What a lovely place to enjoy~ Just simply an incredible place to eat, the food was too fantastic that I couldn’t stop eating and so I accidentally stayed for 2 hours. There was a kind, friendly guy that took the order, he should be a French-speaking since he talked to me in French, and so I talked to him in French for the rest of the duration.🫢 Thai chilli squid—— 10000/10 💞 It’s the best thing I’ve ever had simply, it was so good that I continuously ordered that for 3 times! Just so crispy and it was just flavourful 🫨 Crab sushi 🦀 🍣 8.5/10 I like the sauce, it was flavoursome and that was just so obsessing with those crunchy crabs 🦀, and also if you pour water in the jar, it will have a “dry ice effect” where a lot of smokes will come out (you can see that from my 3rd pic) Spicy Tuna Sushi 🍣 9.5/10 I just LOVE the spicy sauce 🌶️, it was super addictive, and the tuna was also incredible!!!!! There’s also the “dry ice thingy 🧊” and it was wholesome👌 Salmon sushi 🍣 6.5/10 I did not took a pic for it (I just forget everything whenever I eat😵) I thought it was going to be great (since most of the salmon sushi I had in my life were exceptional), but the rice was sadly flavourless. The rice is actually an important part of a sushi. Wish they could add some vinegar or some other flavour to make it taste better. The salmon was great though, a real big piece and taste not as bland as the rice 🍚. Friendliness: 10000/10 Food: 8.5/10 Clean: 8/10 I actually love it 🧡

Have visited The M Bar before and had a lovely time. I booked a table for me and a friend last night and confirmed the booking via email. On arrival, I was told the kitchen was busy with an event upstairs and they wouldnt be serving food. Why allow me to make a dinner reservation if you're not serving food. A phone call ahead of the booking would have been polite. As I turned to discuss with my friend, the waistress simply walked off, so we went somewhere else.

Went to the toilets which are combined male / female with male on the left & female on the right. No one was waiting. Females were full & I went to go in the male cubicles & as physically removed by male security. I stated that this was the first time I’d been out since having a hysterectomy & as there were no men waiting I needed to use that toilet (in the same area as the females) he physically moved me out of the cubicle & told me to wait. A female toilet the became available & he said there you go whilst laughing. It was embarrassing & humiliating. The manager spoke with me & gave me & my friend a free drink which didn’t make up for the behaviour experienced. He laughed at me & my friend when we exited & made inappropriate remarks. Informed the police who were close by & as we walked by he was still laughing. I’m not a young drunk & am disgusted by this behaviour: completely disgusting get example of humanity. Don’t know his name: should not be allowed to be around the public. Clearly the manager did not address the issue is he felt ok to insult me further when I left.

This place is full of newly legal children on a Saturday night and stuck in the 90s hip hop culture that it made me bust out to souja boy like I did at prom circa 2014. Do better

The breakfasts we had were very tasty and cooked very well, waiting time was reasonable too. 4 star only due to the staff, not sure if they had a case of the Sunday morning blues, but just didn’t get the feeling they wanted to be there. Was one lady who was very good but the others let it down.

Visited Bill's in Horsham for brunch with my partner. Got seated straight away. There was a nice chilled vibe in the restaurant. The menu was good for food and drinks. We ordered The Garden Plate and Halloumi Burger. Our server Anya was friendly, polite and helpful.

We love coming to bills for breakfast! There is always a lovely atmosphere and the staff are always so friendly and helpful. We had Sophie today and she was very attentive and sorted our coffees before we even looked at the menu.

Pretty restaurant in the center of town with both indoor and outdoor seating, making it a nice spot for all seasons. The menu is broad, offering a mix of cuisines - from curries and shawarma to bowls and burgers. The food was a bit hit and miss. The chicken shawarma was underwhelming, with dry meat and a lackluster side salad. In contrast, the burger was tasty - juicy, well-seasoned, and paired with fries fried to perfection. For dessert, the sticky toffee pudding was disappointing; it lacked the gooey, sticky richness you'd expect and felt more like a plain cake. The triple brownie, however, was divine - rich, fudgy, and bursting with chocolate flavor. Served warm with a scoop of cold vanilla ice cream, it was the perfect indulgence. Service was very friendly, but a bit slow at times. We had to ask multiple times for certain drinks. Overall, a lovely dining spot in Horsham - especially if you know which dishes to go for.

Probably the best environment cafe, and the food is quite good. More smallish portions and got more expensive, put in a massive plate which doesn’t do it any favours, but constantly checked in until I want to pay and leave. Very good overall, but I want my old cafe back at the station.

First time at Bill’s it was my girlfriend’s recommendation, she knows I love a chicken burger and she definitely brought me to the right place this was one of the best burgers I’ve had. Service was spot on and general atmosphere was brilliant very chill and cozy. Would recommend to anyone.

Had a wonderful meal last night at Filippo’s italian restaurant. The food was exceptional and the service outstanding. We had wanted to come here for a while but always thought it was closed, a common mistake the waitress shared, but it is very much open and we are so pleased we finally went. It won’t be our last visit!

A lovely authentic family-run Italian restaurant in the heart of Horsham! The service was great from the very beginning - the staff was super friendly in helping us to our seats and going through the specials! The food was amazing from start to finish. The cheesy garlic bread was nicely stringy and chewy! The seafood risotto tasted very fresh and the prawns were lovely and tender. The desserts were beautiful - tiramisu wasn’t too sweet and had a nice hint of alcohol and light. The cheesecake had a delicious cherry topping!

We were given such a warm welcome in this cosy family-run restaurant. Mrs Filippo served us and took time to explain the different dishes to us and offer her recommendations. The food was top-notch, freshly-cooked to perfection, and absolutely delicious. Highly recommended!

We came to the restaurant for dinner on the first night of a three day trip to West Sussex. We were warmly welcomed at the entrance and shown to the table we had booked. The tables are spaced out adequately for privacy. The waitresses served us diligently throughout the evening. We both enjoyed spaghetti carbonara with plenty of optional parmesan cheese. We opted for two different desserts, tiramisu and strawberry cheesecake. Both of them were freshly prepared and tasted delicious. We enjoyed our evening and can thoroughly recommend Filippo's.

Pleasant surroundings and comfortable seating (we were inside, there's outside dining in good weather). I should note that it's all upstairs, unless you catch them open at lunchtime when it's warm and they have outside dining, My wife is in a wheelchair, but can just about handle the stairs with help, and the staff is happy to tuck the wheelchair into a safe place downstairs. We celebrated my daughter’s birthday here and Mrs Filippo was a wonderful host. Nice cosy ambience, food was great, especially the pizza and bread with the self made dough.

Have been 3 times now and its been brilliant every time. Food has been lovely every time and they offer a brilliant range of options. Service is absolutely spot on. With fast responses, friendly smiles and great reccomendations. You feel like part of the family! Will definitely be back again and again and again.

We visited for a work's Christmas lunch with a large group of 23. The group was split into three tables and essentially treated as three different groups to ensure they could adequately prepare the meals. As well as the "normal" taster menu they have pescatarian, vegetarian and vegan offerings so no one has to miss out on the brilliant food here. The staff are friendly without an air of superiority that sometimes accompanies fine dining. The food is gorgeous and the drink offerings are wide ranging; there will definitely be something for you.

Restaurants with 1 Michelin star can be sometimes hit and miss - but Restaurant Tristan was hit after hit after hit(!). Highly impressed with the sheer inventiveness and variety of dishes, from an amazing quail plate that was a take on a Caesar salad, to the delicious prawn and harissa. The “three little pigs” - with the tenderloin, belly and terrine all standout. The scallop beef dish was just so tasty with a great mix of textures and flavours. There really wasn’t a weak course at all, which is so extremely rare in a multi course (semi)tasting menu. This simply is top end cooking to rival any other top class restaurants anywhere in the UK. We had the 6 course menu and were full and satisfied by the end - I actually doubt we could have taken down the full 9 course, so just bear that in mind when ordering. On certain weekdays you can go a la carte where you choose anywhere between 2 and 4 courses. Service was first class - friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, and genuine - really makes a difference and makes you want to come back again for sure. £190 for two (both went 6 courses) with a couple of drinks. I think for the quality of food and staff, this represents strong value for money, given what you can end up spending on some of the michies in London for example. Should be on any food fan’s must go to list. 17/20

Excellent fare. We went for the four course lunch menu for £35. The starters and main were superb - lovely play between textures and flavours of meat fish and veg. Desserts were good ... But not wow. The crab starter and the salmon were outstanding. Only gripe was the fois gras which was just too salty and not as well balanced as the other dishes.

Good service and inventive combination of food!!! I had the Xmas menu for £45 (4 courses with a glass of mulled wine Bellini) and some of us had the a la carte option (4 courses for £50) While I did enjoy the Xmas menu, the options from the a la carte menu was much better - think I will go for that next time😅

Exquisite. Yes, really exquisite. We went for lunch (to celebrate) and did it pay off? Oh yes! Lovely atmosphere, terrific service and the food and wine (not to mention the apperatives) simply superb. From the moment we arrived the welcome was warm and informative. I love eating here, the staff is so friendly and welcoming. I order a lot because they do such good deals! Like today I got the buy one burger get one free, I ate both burgers and I also ordered a portion of mac and cheese. It was so good I devoured it, and the sweet chilli sauce is to die for!

MUST VISIT HERE. First time here with husband. Lovely food, nice atmosphere, and great service. I love the big serving. I love the cheezzzy macaroni cheese, so flavorful! I love that you don’t overflavored the beef and chicken and you can still taste the meat. We ate the whole platter! Thank you! Will be back again.

I popped in while working in the area. I ordered the mix grill but "unfortunately, they didn't have all the components" I ordered the bacon cheese burger, which turned up hot but chips & onion rings were nearly cold. Service was good tho

Well what can i say. We had an absolutely amazing day. Some friends and I stopped for some lunch after a hard days graft, we had not booked a table but were seated within minutes. The manager Adam (i think)was so attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The food was great and was quickly served straight of the grill and was delicious. Easily booked a table on line which was confirmed by email. Went at 5pm on a Thursday evening to meet up for a birthday dinner. I lovely welcome from Josh with my name and showed us to the table and explained about ordering. Opened a tab and ordered drinks which were cold and served well. Food ordered with both Josh and Adam. Checked I had ordered everything. The food was hot , tasty and well cooked. Just what we expected. Burger, pie, lasagne, mixed grill and a child menu all good. The waitress was also attentive but not ‘over the top’ which was just right. The restaurant became quite busy but Adam still found time to bring our drinks to us. Overall a very good experience. We had not been to the Sussex Barn before but will certainly go back again in the future. Shout out to the manager who has some good staff who understand what customer service is even when they get busy. Well done Josh, Adam and all the staff , especially the chefs and kitchen staff who provided us with a lovely , very reasonably priced meal.

Visited this evening for a couple of beers and some food. Easy to order via the app. Quick service and friendly staff. Food was the usual pub food but good quality and reasonable prices. Would go back again and beer prices reasonable.

The food was excellent, great value for money. Check out the blackboard by the bar before ordering (I missed the BOGOF burgers but the steak was still really nice and cooked to perfection). The staff were very friendly and efficient. I’d come back here if we are in the area again.

Natalie, her partner and crew are so welcoming and efficient. We had a lovely 2 course evening meal with drinks which was absolutely delicious. Highly recommended. We ate inside but there is also a beautiful outdoor eating area. We were able to spend the night in our motorhome in the large car park at no extra cost if we had a meal. Had use of outside water tap. Pub toilets available during opening hours and from 10:00am in the morning. She also brought us a cup of coffee in the morning!

We visited on a Friday lunchtime and sat outside as it was so hot. They have a large marquee type structure in the garden, which gave lots of shade, and although we had booked, it was pretty quiet so I guess that weekday lunchtime is not their busy time? The food was delicious, and my wife said it was the best fishcake she has ever had! The sweet potato fries were crispy, and overall it was a super meal. It's great that a pub in a small village can produce food of this quality.

4 adults making use of the birthday free bottle of house wine. 2 seabass 1 meat pie 1 pork chop. All 4 meals were hot, tasty and a decent portion. Service was smiley. 2 puddings ordered (cheesecake) not pleasant and £££. Otherwise a great experience thanks.

We went to The Greets Inn for a family get together of 9 people. The service was great, the choices extensive, and the quality was right up there. Friendly staff throughout. Would thoroughly recommend this family owned / run gem. We then took in an hour walk in the surrounding area, leaving our cars in the car park. Lovely day out.

Wonderful little country pub with a warm welcome. Loads of outdoor seating with awnings for cover, usual Sunday roasts with a massive Yorkie on top. Also another menu if you're not into the Sunday thing, definitely recommend the Greets inn if you're free for a leisurely lunch.

I walked past the Giggling Squid during lunch today and it was happily buzzing with guests. Later in the evening I did go back to give it a try!, makes sense why it was busy, the food and menu options are great, Ms Cooper who was very welcoming helped me choose my main course and dessert, both of which were delicious. The mini dessert and coffee is a great way to try the chocolate lava cake only to realize it’s so good, next time a full portion is definitely worth it. A great experience overall 10/10. A must visit kinda place.

the manager and Lilly were 20/10! mentioned on my booking that it was our 2 year anniversary, not expecting anything and they made us feel really special, wishing us a happy anniversary when we was seated by the manager and then Lilly when she came to take our order! then was offered complimentary prosecco to celebrate and then had a lovely message on our pudding plate! Such lovely and warming people that went the extra mile to make sure our evening was so special! The food was all so delicious, we couldn’t even pick our favourite dish because it was all so good!!

Really expensive! Have to pay separately for rice. Cocktails were nice. We arrived at 6pm and got our food within 10 minutes of ordering. And then continued to have dirty dishes next to us for over 45 minutes and the waitress excuse was because she "didnt see us", yet she walked past our table multiple times!

Popped in for a farewell dinner with my Mum before she headed back to Australia. Food was tasty and my steak was perfectly cooked. I had devon crab bite starter, sirloin main and we shared a sticky toffee. For me, the exceptional part was the service. Our waiter, Dom, was attentive. Offered some suggestions, made recommendations, did check backs but without being obtrusive. A true professional. We had a wonderful time and we will be back!

Since my original review We have visited here 3 separate times and food remains almost unchanged but service has been increasingly worse. Today was Sunday lunch for 5 people and possibly our last time , shame as you can see from the following it has been good but seems even busier and they are not able to cope. Even a neighbouring table complained about the time taken We had a party of six. Despite the place being really busy we experienced great service and food was very tasty and the best dish we decided is the souffle pistachio and chocolate ice cream on the side (exceptional)

Three ladies at lunchtime received a warm welcome and as we found it hard to hear we were kindly offered an empty room. We all had the crab platter which was beautifully presented and delicious. Sarka looked after us very well and was so helpful and patient when we opened an account. It was my first visit and will return.

Booked a table for 12:30 we were told we could choose where we'd like to sit which was a nice option. I booked a table for three as it was myself and my sister's birthday they made us feel so welcome they made the day very special for us and especially our server called Svitlana who we feel went above and beyond with the service that she provided so thank you. Can highly recommend this place for its food and its hospitality well done to the team at the red deer.

An absolute pleasure to have been here for lunch. The pasta was amazing, the menu options had a great selection. Probably the best pasta I’ve had in a long time. Friendly and welcoming. I’m sure I’ll be heading back in no time most likely for dinner. The pizzas and desserts look phenomenal.

It is really surprising me! We just randomly saw the restaurant and started raining in a minute so we decided to go get some lunch in here. It is not a very big restaurant but it is really full of people inside enjoying the food. When we walked into the restaurant we can smell the food are very nice! We ordered a starter, one pizza and one risotto. And they are all delicious and amazing! My favourite is the seafood risotto cause you can see from the picture it is really full of different kinds of seafood. All the seafoods are very fresh and yummy 🤤 if you like seafood you can’t miss this delicious risotto! Plus, they got an option for service charges: 10%, 13% and 15%. You can choose for yourself and I like that option very much cause we can depend on how much you want to pay for the service charge. All staffs are very friendly and helpful so we chose 13% one. It really worthy!

We have been going to this amazing restaurant since it opened 10 years ago and recently they have been so understanding about our vouchers given to me by my brother visiting from Devon who also loves the food here .

Came here for my sons 18th birthday meal. Recieved a warm welcome on arrival and throughout our meal the staff couldn't have been more friendly and wonderful. The food was some of the best food we've had in a long time. Flavour and presentation was 5 star. The restaurant itself was warm and cosy as well as being clean and tidy. Will definitely be returning in the future to sample the rest of the menu

Thanks to Google and other peoples reviews, we decided to book here and try the Sunday lunch. WOW! What a hidden gem, it may not look picture perfect on the outside , but inside you’re greeted with friendly staff and lovely decor. The atmosphere was calm with nice background music but most importantly, we had one of the best roasts we’ve all had in a longtime. Thank you very much to the great chefs and waitress’s, we will be back :)

Sunday lunchtime our first visit. Public house prices and pretty normal beer & wine, we did not eat, so out of the box it's nothing special. The recommended Shiraz wine was not great, as it had bitter aftertaste. The Tangle Foot was okay, but the real ale selection is non existent. The staff weren't very engaging, I'd say surly rather than welcoming. A nice walk from Horsham, that's about it.

Great roast, lovely flavours, large portions and tender meat. Had an issue where the waitress had put our table in as two orders (so we had to eat separately) But this was dealt with very well by the manager. We were the last seating of the day, so advise booking earlier in the day, so you have full choice of meats. Will definitely be back, highly recommend.

Reasonably nice venue with a warm atmosphere and good selection of drinks, however the food is very over priced for what it is. cheddar and mushroom melt is literally a mushroom with cheese melted on top.... Completely understand there has to be some sort of mark up on food but £8+ was a little extreme. The cheeseburger was also a little bit underwhelming, the menu suggests that is is served with tomato, burger sauce and gherkin. What I actually got was a small burger, large leaf of lettuce and ketchup, once again not work the £16+

Great pub for lunch. We were a group of 10 including a newborn baby and enjoyed the warmth, food and hospitality. Unfortunately we were not able to sit by the fireplace (yes they have an awesome fireplace) but it was still great seating and we will definitely come back.

Black Jug is a traditional local pub. They serve Sunday Roast till late evenings. Decent portions. Nice choice of ciders. Seasonal menu. No service at the outside patio.

A few friends and I visited the Black Jug on Sunday for a roast dinner. Booking was easy and hassle free. We arrived and were escorted to our table in a cosy but airy part of the pub. The atmosphere was great and there were loads of people enjoying their roasts too. The food was delicious and the price you'd expect to pay. Around £19 to £23 depending on what you chose. Sides of pigs in blankets were available too, which are a staple side for this time of year! Plenty of food for the price. Desert list was filled with tempting treats, all around £7.95, again, reasonable. The staff were very friendly. Can't fault the experience and will go back.

Really enjoyed visiting this place. Very busy pub, mixed ages - no music, which is a plus in my book. I had baked camembert with honey and walnuts. It was excellent. Good sized portions, I didn't need a main course as I wasn't that hungry. I was with other people who all loved their food. Decently priced and well presented.

After going to the cinema to watch an entertaining film, we thought we’d come over to the blackjack. I came with my daughter for a Sunday roast. I was most impressed with the Lamb. I will definitely be coming again service, atmosphere, everything was perfect. My daughter also loved her meal. One of the best roast dinners I’ve ever had thank you we will come again

I visited ASK around a week ago and initially had a disappointing experience. However, after reaching out, the team went above and beyond to make things right. Our server, Olivia, was absolutely amazing—attentive, friendly, and ensured everything ran smoothly. Our drinks, starters, and mains arrived promptly and looked fantastic. She truly made us feel welcome, turning our experience around. A big thank you to Rikesh for organising everything—we really appreciate it! We can’t wait to come back.

We had such a lovely meal here. Oksana gave some great recommendations, particularly the wine (Bianco Salerno). This is our 3rd visit and won’t be the last. Pesto dough balls are a must!

On Saturday 16th August this year I attended Ask , Horsham with my dad and his wife - they were in town for a special visit. We had a wonderful time overall , and I can't fault the evening for anything! We were served by Sasha , who was more than helpful. She was warm, kind , bubbly , friendly, professional , knowledgeable & her customer service was second to none! She really did go the extra mile at every point in the meal. The food was yummy , it came quickly , and it was superb quality. It's the second time I've been here in the last 6 months & I love the atmosphere - it really is a good branch of Ask. Food was okay but lacked flavour. Our waitress really ruined the experience for us. She made us feel completely unwelcome, had no manners, snatched the menus out of our hands and was incredibly impatient. I understand it was a busy Saturday night but there’s no excuse for treating paying customers with so little respect.

Gorgeous Italian coffee and pastries! The pistachio croissant is easily the best croissant I have eaten in my life! I don’t think it can be matched! I just wish they were always available.

So lovely to have an independently owned deli on our doorstep. The staff are brilliant and very caring - they were meticulous in making sure there was no cross-contamination for my allergies today. Exploring Horsham we found this absolutely delightful deli, with a wonderful selection of warm Italian bites and sweet treats, alongside a huge selection of Italian food products. Lovely owners and staff, great service and delicious panini and coffee. We went back later and bought some cannolis.. definitely be back, top of our list 👍🏻

Had late lunch with a friend….noodles veg and crispy duck. Absolutely delicious! Very friendly, cheerful and attentive staff. Really enjoyed it! If we had one criticism…..the food could have been hotter! We like it piping!

The service was pretty nice and I ordered a Thai Curry, which is my favourite dish in Wagamama. The taste was still as good, the sauce was so rich (salty, slightly sweet and spicy) and the texture with rice was absolutely amazing! The veggies and chicken were just going normal.

We stopped in for a takeaway tonight and were greeted by James at the door who was super efficient and friendly, guided me through the system for takeaway before finding me a comfortable place to wait. It was a REALLY busy Friday night but the staff were coping well and the food came quickly and was up to the usual WM standard.

Great location in Horsham in West Street.. took my niece who is coeliac and she had her own menu and was served by a manager to ensure no cross contamination with other foods...this was great to see that this food outlet takes this very seriously. Food and drinks are delivered very quickly and it’s delicious! Presentation is impeccable! We ordered spicy cauliflower (🌶🌶), vegan ribs (lovely smoky hits and lemongrass shreds and delicious seeds on the skin) vegan squid (comes with sauce) and vegan chicken raman (this last one is very spicy 🌶🌶🌶 so I struggled quite a bit personally. Drinks are lovely, (juices) but usually warm so good idea to ask for ice. The staff is friendly and courteous. There is the option to pay online with your phone using a QR code in conjunction with table number which I thought was brilliant!

Absolutely exceptional in every way. The service was extremely attentive, the atmosphere was great. But the food was the best Indian cuisine that we have had in several years. Worthy of a 4.6 ranking or better. Highly recommended.

We ordered a takeaway for delivery, the delivery lady was polite but, unfortunately, our food had leaked out of the container and was sitting at the bottom of the bag. When I opened the containers up, one of the main meals was so runny, which was obviously why it had leaked, and it tasted watery. The samosas were greasy, the egg in the meal was black in the middle and the poppadoms were soft and stale. Very disappointed because we've normally had good food from them in the past.

Had an absolutely lovely dinner at the Akash restaurant the other day! Would highly recommend the mixed grill, as well as the butter chicken and the biryani. Mash was amazing and made us feel so at home! Special thanks to Rahib also for being so attentive and making us the best coffees! 😍

I've been to a lot of Indian Restaurants in my lifetime and never have I tasted something so good. This food I have eaten today really embody what the Eastern Indian Cusine is like. Furthermore, the staff and waiters were so nice and sociable making it seem that you were part of an extended family. If you're ever in the vicinity and hungry, Akash is the place to go, my family and I rate it a solid 💯.

Gluten free, dairy free, soya free I've been free from for about 6 years, in that time I've not dined at an Indian restaurant because of the lack of allergen information. The menu here is one of the clearest I've seen in any restaurant. The staff were very well informed. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh and tasty. I highly recommend this restaurant and I can't wait to come back.

Food here was incredible. We had the War Tip dumplings, Char Shu Pork, and Xin Jian Lamb, with egg-fried rice. Gorgeous food, the lamb especially was incredible - just melted in your mouth. 100% recommend all of these dishes. Very attentive service from the staff and we were sat upstairs in a quiet area which was lovely.

Usually have a good experience but today was so disappointed. Ordered the broccoli in garlic butter to take home after a nice meal but got home to find loads of large prawns in it!! For a vegetarian that's really not what I expect from China Brasserie - very careless indeed!

Visited the China Brasserie a few Saturdays as a group of 4 where we ordered two set menus to share between us. The food was incredible; plentiful, fresh and great variety. Service was attentive and speedy. You won't find a better dine-in Chinese restaurant in Horsham than here.

Went here last night and had a very nice meal. The food is very good and a cut above the rest compared to most chinese food i’ve had! The beef in black pepper sauce was amazing as well as the Mongolian beef. Service was also very good. Being a small restaurant it can get quite loud in there but it’s not a problem. Overall very good 👍

We ate here recently and the food was fantastic. We had the Christmas set menu and we all really enjoyed it. We often get takeaway from this restaurant and it is definitely the place to go for Chinese food.

Honestly the best chinese food I've ever had. Nitpicking: I noticed a stain on the chopsticks and my lemonade wasn't chilled. The ambient noise was quite loud after 2 parties filled the room, there's little a business can do to minimise that, id maybe invest in some noise cancelling and hang it from the ceiling (seen it in other restaurants) Service was very professional, 10% tip is included.

Waited an hour for what was meant to be Mac and cheese which was actually milk and cheese and some soggy, greasy mozzarella sticks whilst we were ignored by staff. We asked for water and watched the waiter go and do other things and then come and fill us up some water. Waiters were rude and didn’t know what they were doing. Don’t go here xx

Save your money and go elsewhere. Every time I dine here, I wonder why did I bother. Service is OK. Food is poor! Wrong starters brought out, then instead of changing, just drizzled a different sauce over and brought back to table. Pizza cooked - just! Still soggy in middle. Service is painful. Every other Pizza Express just does it better. If I was dining out in horsham, I'd go elsewhere. Lots of better options that won't break the bank for a poorly cooked pizza.

Popped here for dinner with my husband and son for the first time in Horsham. We had a Tesco voucher that needed spending. Dinner was nice enough, but I thought it was expensive for what we got. £3.99 for a coke is expensive. The Kids menu is good at £8 but then £1.60 for a juice seems a big steep. Over £10 for a 5-year-old dinner! I just didn't think it was the best value for money. Service was good, but I had to chase the waiter a couple of times to order 5. Husbands' pizza was lovely and mine too. My husband had 3 courses and wasn't stuffed. Starters were small and desserts. Just didn't feel much value for money to be honest. The toilets upstairs are disgusting! The floor and toilet haven't been cleaned for months, and I was honestly shocked. With Horsham having so much choice for dinner, we wouldn't return here, I'm afraid.

I came here with my Dad a couple of weeks ago. The staff were exceptionally friendly, professional and polite. Even when my Dad was being awkward with the staff they dealt with it well. I was very impressed with the service. They have an entire menu just for vegan food which is great. My vegan pizza was brilliant so I had a great time here and will definitely come back when I am next in the area.

Went for lunch today with our two grandchildren. Order taken fairly quickly but then had to wait over half an hour for the kids dough balls and then another 20 minutes for our mains and they weren't frantically busy. Staff avoided eye contact and ignored us and the manager only apologised at the very end after telling us he'd given us a 50% discount for the delay. However this included the kids eat free offer so not exactly impressed. Never again!

After a really poor experience here, back in February, we decided to risk it and return. Mostly prompted by the fact that we had some money off vouchers (by way of an apology) for our previously bad experience. This time, we are glad to report that the experience was 100% improved on our meal in February. This time we experienced excellent customer service, good food and a correct bill. Aidan greeted, served us and was very professional and attentive the whole time. The food was correct, piping hot and well made. The bill was also correct and we enjoyed a nice bottle of wine. All in all, Pizza Express, Horsham redeemed themselves yesterday and long may it continue.

Really disappointing experience at Pizza Express. One of the staff members, a young guy with brown hair and a brown birthmark (I think on his chin) was incredibly rude and unprofessional. We waited 45 minutes for our pizza with no apology at all. When I went up to ask, “How long will our pizza be? We ordered 45 minutes ago,” he was literally holding it and just showed it to me without saying a word. Extremely rude and dismissive. While we were waiting, he was gossiping loudly to another member of staff, saying things like “If you get fired they’ll give you a bad reference, but if you leave you’ll be fine,” and slagging off other employees for going outside for a cigarette. Overall, just a nasty atmosphere and a very unprofessional attitude from this particular staff member. Shocking. Won’t be returning.

Best Indian I’ve had. So much to choose from on the menu including DUCK spring rolls?! Hear me out, I love a Chinese, but this Indian twist on duck spring rolls were special - highly recommend. Everyone at our table was very complimentary on the food. Service was good. However, some waiters seemed a little nervous/ quiet - a smile from them would go far. Drink selection also good - even got a free shot at the end. Will be back to taste more

Our favourite Indian in town. We have been consistently ordering for the past few years. Tried different places, but it is never as good as Darchinis. Yesterday we have made another order and as I am very pregnant I have requested a small spicy dip to induce labour. We have been surprised by a big container of vindaloo sauce with a lovely message. Just wanted to say thank you! It was very thoughtful and fabulous food as always!

Thought we’d try a place we hadn’t been to! Turned out to be a bad idea. I was served the smallest glass of Prosecco I’ve ever seen and charged £6.50 for it!!! When I questioned the server she said she could do more but then was stopped by another server who was unnecessarily rude said that’s the only size we serve. Safe to say we won’t be returning.

Went for lunch on Saturday around 2pm. Ordered food, burger and toastie, was told a 30 minutes wait. After 40 minutes still no food. Asked the bar staff who looked stressed who said it won't be long. After 50 minutes I went to the bar to ask for a refund. Was told had to wait for manager who was serving. When manager came, he didn't seem to be really interested and offered the refund, for food only. The least you could've done was refund a cup of tea etc. He then spent a long time telling me that if no refund went through to contact head office and not direct with them. He finally apologised for the no food. As we we're leaving the server brought 'our ' food which was the wrong order. Hopeless, get better staff and show you care. I will not return.

A favourite spot for watching football with friends. Had a roast which was okay, the veg wellington was lovely tho. Jack who looked after us was very attentive and clearly cares about giving a good service.

Very popular place for a drink. Large area so plenty of seating but we walked out last Saturday after seeing it was heaving and we wouldn't find a table anywhere. Visited other times during the day and it is a different story - much more relaxed and quiet.

What a disappointment today, we arrived around 12.30pm, we were are party of three, we ordered two steak sandwiches and one BLT sandwich, we waited 40 minutes for the food, when it did arrive, the sandwiches were cold, the filling in all of them were non existent, chicken was dry, very little bacon, also two tiny pieces of steak , the sandwiches cost £11.00, it was shocking. The serving staff were taking the brunt of customer complaints around us too. I felt sorry for them, our server kindly compensated us with a free coffee and mini desert. Which was delicious. Just to add to the disappointment we paid a visit to the ladies toilet, which hadn’t been cleaned or checked since Friday, there was evidence as the bin was full of Halloween costumes. So just to finish, please for other customers sake you must sort all these issues out, or you’ll lose tire bar staff too. Mrs Ager

Had the burger which was banging. I always make many an alteration to my food and it came out as requested. My girlfriend order the roast which was massive. Food was quick and drinks were good.

We ordered a hot starter to share, mixed grill and house salad and we thoroughly enjoyed them. The service was great and the atmosphere was friendly.

First visit this evening. Had the mixed kebab this evening. Have to say the meat was really good, even the lamb was pretty tender which is often not the way. I’d like to see a bigger/thicker piece of bread with it and some better quality chips - but I will be back for a second visit. Oh I nearly forgot - red cabbage, food of champions, really nice to see this. Edit in July ‘25 - went back for a sit down last Friday with three friends. Food was excellent, staff friendly and prices not too bad, though 12.5% service automatically added. Avoid the turnip juice, stick to Efes lager.

Went to the shish for the first time last night and I’m so glad I chose this restaurant. The food was absolutely amazing and fantastic value for money. The service and friendliness from the waitress was so nice to see as nowadays you don’t tend to really see that at most restaurants. We had the platter for 2 and what you get for the price is outstanding. Will definitely be back soon.

Just ordered a delivery. Wow. When I grew up at home my family always went to one local restaurant that was run by a family who had ran their restaurant for generations. I've never been able to find a takeaway since that I've enjoyed so much food with passion and love but wow this place the food is the best in horsham. And the value for money and quality even when you order via delivery is outstanding. Meal for 1 bundle 😋. The meat in all three dishes was nothing like I've had from an Indian restaurant I used a spoon to cut it. Was soft and juicy and just melted in the mouth. Well done and keep this amazing food going

I use to eat chicken curry from time to time, but this time I tried chicken curry from Horsham Tandoori. Very disappointed. Very oily, to much oil, that much that you can't fell the other flavours. It was very grease. Definitely not going back. Sorry

Went here with my daughter and we both ordered the special all day breakfast with a pot of tea for two. Two eggs benedict with smoked salmon, avocado, tomato and bacon on breakfast muffins with hollandaise sauce. It was absolutely delicious! A good large portion, excellent value for money, and great service. Highly recommend!

Lovely cosy cafe at the corner of Horsham with delicious all day breakfast options! I really liked the Comodor special - all the individual ingredients blended with each other very well! The top floor also has a nice view of the tiny colourful stretch of houses!

I love the Commodor. I've been going there for years. I go in and enjoy the egg, bacon, tomatoe, and toast (egg perfect, not slimey!) Followed by a small pancake with fresh fruit, honey and little cream!! That's my brunch when I'm around that way.

Our second visit here, I had the four cheese pasta which was delicious. Very generous portions, great friendly service and clearly very popular. Definitely our go to place when visiting Horsham.

Found this little gem 2 mins from the hustle and bustle of the high street a variety options on the menu I had the full English and my wife had an omelette and toast, both very nice and for less than £25 seri e was quick and very friendly would go again and recommend too

A lovely little cafe/coffee house located in the heart of Horsham. Parking can be found nearby in the pay and display car parks doted around the town centre with only disabled parking directly nearby. Staff were friendly and we were quick to be seated. A good choice of breakfast items were available and with a full English coming in just under £9 prices are about on par with most other cafes. The full breakfast is plentiful and all items were freshly cooked with alternative items on offer should you want to swap someone you’re not keen on. I would give 5* however one order came out with the wrong bread choice which had to be swapped. The food itself was hot and tasty though and the tables clean. Worth a stop of passing for a decent fry up

Been going here for many many years (Horsham Branch) and always been one for the best in Horsham. Wow how it has changed....served by some small blond child....and ordered cod and chips X2 and a sausage....£24...the photos says it all...terrible amount of food seems they have forgotten to actually give you value for money..absolutely disgusting portion. So after 30 years of going there I will no longer visit and will be giving my business to master fryer in roffee...they should be ashamed of themselves ripping customers off....avoid.

From the Horsham shop Portions absolutely diabolical paid £33 for 2 meals and was disappointed when I got home won’t be eating here again this is the second time this has happened and the state of that savaloy that they microwaved in front of me while I was waiting is an actual joke that you can sell that to a paying customer.

Very disappointed...very greasy (grease dripping off the fish in box). small portion of Hadock supposedly large ..... Gave me bad indigestion and feeling sick all night.... I know this place gets good reviews but for me everytime I go and are served by the young girls (yesterdays staff)...they treat you like you walked in off the street with something stuck to your shoes...and cant wait to get rid of you...Like they cant be bothered. Yesterday, box was given to me by very young blonde girl, half opened asked for it to be wrapped and I got a single piece of cellotape put on it which still meant the box was bulging.... Everything seemed like too much effort. Last time Im going in there again..Learnt my lesson this time. If I go in somewhere I dont want to feel uncomfortable or feel like an annoyance thats wandered in off the street and when paying good money I want to feel im valued as a customer.

Wonderful fish and chips. I’m gluten free and nothing was too much bother they have set days which can be gluten free. I had battered gluten free sausage and chips not had that in years !! Rosie was a lovely waitress a really tasty lunch. We ate in the restaurant but also takeaway !

Deep Blue have been serving my mum with meals at her care home in Horsham ( Ashton Leigh Nursing Home ) since around May this year . The cod is always fresh and the pies delicious. Tonight was no exception - my mum and I ordered tea as a treat for Saturday night. We had steak and ale pie & large chips. The pie was yummy , with huge chunks of tender steak meat The manager was extremely prompt to call up when they did not have chicken & mushroom pie we requested & offer an alternative. I was served by Aya & Louis tonight and their customer service was second to none. I can not reccomend this restaurant highly enough Thank you so so much to the whole team!! I went to Nando’s last Monday and I had a fantastic experience with it being a friends birthday. The food came very quickly and was very delicious with the staff being so kind and helpful. I asked to have a birthday cake surprise for my friend and they happily gave it to us for free. I was so happy by this and it made my friends day I hope the person who let us have it gets a raise because she is the kindest person I have ever met thank you

Food was really good and standard portion sizes you come to expect from a Nandos. Had a few issues the cola zero didn't work, and there were no napkins or folks had to ask. Some of the staff were very helpful and others didn't seem very interested unfortunately didn't help the dinning experience.

Walked in as a group of three, and it was close to closing time. We were still well received and received exceptional customer service (staff that were in on 11MAY2025); thank you.

Would give this zero stars if I could. Did complain on Deliveroo and did get a refund however still really shocking. I am a big fan of Nandos UK so this was massively disappointing :( especially since ordering takeaway was the most exciting thing that happened in a week of bad sickness for me and my entire family. Hopefully this was escalated.

We’ve not visited the shop itself but had numerous takeaways from here since and every time it’s been fantastic. The burgers (and extras) are just amazing and such a fair price too. Always hot and always tasty. We’ll keep coming back, don’t change anything!

By far the best takeaway in Horsham - hands down! Every visit is a great experience. The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming and treat every customer with genuine care. The shop is spotless and it’s clear they take real pride in what they do. Whether it’s kebabs, burgers or pizzas, everything is consistently 10/10. You can taste the quality in every bite. It’s no surprise I keep coming back. Once you’ve tried it, there’s no going anywhere else!

Pizza was delicious loads of topping. Kebab was dry and not great, chicken burger is a butterfly beast which was dry as old boots and got left. Really disappointing tbh, we don't return.

Pizza Plus are fantastic! At the beginning of May, we needed a local pizza place to help feed our under-10s Horsham Rugby team for our end-of-season party. Feeding over 40 kids isn’t easy and can be pretty pricey, but Pizza Plus really came through. They provided more than 20 pizzas at a great price. Compared to some of the big-name takeaway places, they offer amazing value, and their large pizzas are actually large — 15 inches instead of the usual 12. We had a bunch of pepperoni and margherita pizzas, and they were seriously tasty. There was more than enough to feed not just the kids, but also the parents, coaches, and siblings. We’d definitely use them again. They were awesome. Thanks, Pizza Plus — you rock!

My very first order. Doner kebab with salad and spicy wings. Excellent service, speedy delivery. Delicious wings, however the doner meat although very tasty was a little dry.

Would give 0 stars if possible as we couldn't go into the pub as the landlord stopped us at the door because our shoes and pram were 'too muddy'. Possibly the rudest man to ever be a landlord, he barged past the pram with my 10 month old baby in, telling us the pram wheels and our shoes were 'a state' (they weren't). I understand some people can have bad days but if you run a pub next to a river walk and a large wood, you might expect punters to occasionally be a bit muddy and perhaps not shout at them as they try and enter the pub. When I politely reminded him that it was a pub and not a show room, he shouted in my face that it was 'his pub'. Quite literally the worst and most laughable experience I've ever had in any pub and probably the reason it was dead on a Sunday lunchtime. I'm not sure this man should be running any kind of customer facing establishment and I expect it to not be in business much longer. Avoid this poor excuse for a pub and walk 10 minutes down the road to the Hornbrook where you will be greeted with a smile, excellent service and great food. Muddy boots and all.

A real shame, from the exterior it looks like it could be a lovely cosy pub. Unfortunately, like the lady in the previous post, I was also stopped at the door with my buggy. I was told the wheels are muddy and I’m not allowed in. I have attached a photo to demonstrate how un- muddy the wheels really were! The buggy housed to my three month old that was asleep. We had taken a 15 minute detour to get to this pub (after a friend had recommended it), so that I could feed my baby and treat myself to a nice meal. Sadly, we were turned away at the door. Thought it was worth writing a review to warn any other families who were planning to visit this location. If this pub does not accommodate families with young children, it would be far more considerate to state this clearly on the website rather than embarrass potential customers at the door. A real shame, as I had been looking forward to visiting.

Its a really nice wee local pub on St leonards road with a lovely beer garden was in it for a few visits over the week while in the area, unfortunately they weren't doing. food at the time but serving a good range of beers. It has a nice mix of locals will certainly call again when in the area again

Came for food and was pleasantly surprised. Traditional pub inside, with a modern Chinese menu. I say modern, traditional dishes but done fancifully. Service was great! Bar maid (if I can still say that) helped seat us and brought drinks in good time. Food service was equally decent with a quick turnaround from order to eating. Enjoyed every aspect of our experience. Beer garden is a hidden gem for the area. Will definitely be back!

Fantastic Sunday roast. All the food is clearly made fresh on site, including the deep fried whitebait which was delicious. The roast comes with a very good selection of vegetables. Incredibly happy with cost Vs quality, definitely a firm favourite from now on. Garden to the rear is large and welcoming with tables you can get a family of five around easily. Lost star purely for the toilets which whilst clean, are in need of some love. However, don't let that put you off, it's a great little pub, just off some stunning walking routes.

A lovely little pub with friendly staff. Nice and cosy with a log burner stove for the cold months and a little garden area for the summer months. It's a great place for a very together with a few friends and a drink or two. It's a classic pub, so no food (that I've seen) The only reason I have only given it 4 stars was that the prices for non-alcohol-drinkers are a bit steep. Otherwise it's 5*

Panino’s is a sweet delight - with such a wide range of sandwiches, snacks, amazing cakes - there is something for everyone My partner and I were served by Antonio who was so helpful , kind , and willing to go the extra mile - thank you The sponge cakes were delightful - light, fluffy yummy and sickly sweet which is perfect for me ( the Victoria sponge ) My partner had the coffee - which I had to have a taster of - again delicious , light & perfect amount of coffee Perfect location and atmosphere here as well Sarah - Storrington

Lovely Italian deli, I had a portion of lasagna and it was lovely, I'll definitely be visiting again.

Outdoor seating meant that on a fine January day we were able to drink our excellent coffee in sunshine. A good chatting space! Though this café has changed a lot over the years (it now has a large indoor seating area) and has different staff, it remains a friendly place serving good coffee, with a selection of pleasant looking food.

A great little corner cafe with delicious Italian pastries and good coffee of course. Plenty of outdoor sweating to enjoy the bustling Horsham market plaza.

Came in at about 4:45 on a Thursday afternoon, place was almost empty. Stood at the counter for so long without being acknowledged I was wondering if I was actually invisible! The staff were chatting away amongst themselves but did not speak or look at me or the people in the queue behind me at all. When I did get served their boredom was obvious, still paying more attention to each other than the customers. I ordered two slices of lemon drizzle cake, unfortunately they were dryer than the Sahara Desert rendering me incapable of speech! The ladies toilets were pretty grim with used paper on the floor but no paper in the dispenser.

Congratulations, you’ve officially created the worst bacon roll I’ve ever tried to eat. I’m actually grateful it’s inedible, so I don’t have to let my body process this bacon-flavored rock.

Quick service despite it being Sunday midday and busy! Friendly staff with a quickly diminishing range of snack foods available - lots of sweet things - cakes, muffins etc. Quick and friendly service by the baristas and all staff. Pretty full but a good turnover of customers so you would get a seat pretty quickly, even though we visited in a Sunday midday

I always pop in after work for a take away hot chocolate and I have to say it's one of the best coffee shops in our town and the staff are so very friendly and I'm more of a regular there and I also have a caramel shortbread which is really nice.

I’ve just come out of hospital and wanted to take my partner to Wimpy to say thank you for looking after me. I’ve always come here since I was a kid, so it felt really special to relive those memories with him. Chloe and Mo were absolutely amazing – they went above and beyond, checking that I was okay and making sure everything was perfect for us. Their kindness and genuine care really made my day. Thank you both so much for such lovely service – you’re a credit to Wimpy! 💕

I hadn't been to a Wimpy for years and am so glad I did. Friendly welcome as soon as I arrived, shown to a table and asked if I wanted to order a drink while I ordered. I had a quarter pounder with cheese and chips. It was really tasty, far nicer than the well-known "competition". I'll be back.

The children meal offer was a good deal, both of my kids really enjoyed it. Staff were very helpful and friendly. I would return to Wimpy because of the table service. No hanging about for food, very smooth running at full capacity, can't fault it. Chicken wrap with spicy sauce was outstanding value at £3.50.

I have been customer before Wimpy always been satisfied. Today was a huge disappointent. Fries cooked underdone, a tiny piece of tomato, the whole meal was cooked with a couldnt care less attitude and i cant be botherd attitude. An expensive meal that was supposed to be a nice meal for the day, but was absolutely awful. I wont be coming here again, just to be ripped off and be so disappointed. Im done with Wimpy and this time for good.

The breakfast was perfectly cooked, the staff were so pleasant and welcoming I was just down in horsham for the day and would choose this place over the many eateries around that are modernised and bland for this kind of service and quality of food anyday

I don’t know why I bother spending my money at this place. £7 for chicken kickers and they looked absolutely disgusting. I would be better off going m and s food. I would have spent less money and better quality food. Learnt my lesson!

The app always lies. Says the food is ready, except it isn't. The staff always say the same thing "it'll be ready in 2 mins". It's never 2 mins. It's always at least 10 mins. When you're awkwardly parked in a busy area it's not ideal. Fix your app and stop blatantly lying to your customers faces. There's no care taken with the food either. Pizza toppings aren't distributed evenly. It's never cut properly and this time there were huge slices and tiny slithers. I could let it go if it were reasonably priced but it isn't, even with the deals. If I provided this level of service in my job, I'd be sacked. I'm sure Domino's are franchised so you can't even complain. The poor service seems to be the norm for all of them these days. In future, I'll use the Turkish pizza takeaway round the corner.

NEVER EVER CUT! Always order from here and the pizza is never cut. The person on the cutting table needs to cut it properly so you can at least grab a slice , forever using my scissors to cut it I’m fed up with calling them about it not being cut

I'm surprised by so many poor reviews. Ordered today online, followed the tracking decided to collect as it was ready in 10mins rather than delivery which was 30mins and a charge of £2.50. Pizza was cooked on time as per the tracking on the website. Piping hot, chips weren't freshly cooked but were fine. Service was fine, the gentleman confirmed the name and handed me my order! Job done. Lunch was lovely, and I liked the dips. Large pizzas were al half price, so it was a bargain!

You know what you're getting with Domino's, and tonight didn't disappoint. My pizza actually arrived a bit early but the driver gave me a ring (calls are masked from Birmingham..?) and I was able to put the pizza inside so the fox couldn't have any. Thanks team.

Went here today no opening times on the door that I saw, makes it difficult to know when it's open. Only ordered a toasted cheese sandwich it wasn't a real toastie it was more toast with cheese in the middle it was OK, filled a hole as they say . No garnish or anything. Had to have a cold drink as no milk alternatives available.

I popped in here for a quick sandwich at lunchtime. £6.30 IIRC for sausage onion baguette with ketchup and a pepsi. A fair wait and it was unfortunately not nice at all. I left it, and moved on with my day.

If it’s a greasy spoon you’re looking for?… congrats! You have arrived. Greasy. I felt it was a bit pricey too be honest. This plate here was over a tenner. I know this because I had to go to the cash machine because they don’t do card payments. After withdrawing a tenner, I realised I had to try again and get another tenner out! The staff were ‘ok’… the guy didn’t have much time for me when I was dithering how to make my choice under a tenner. It didn’t work, and the bill rang in at £11.60 or summin’ like that. The sausages weren’t quality. Nor was any of it tbf. The mushrooms were saturated with grease and the bread was probably a 49p loaf of white nothingness. My tummy hurts a little bit even an hour or so later. My advice would be to care more.

There was an item missing from my order. Gave them a ring, they apologised and said they'd deliver the missing item. Im still waiting for said item. Its now been 5 days ...

Got the set menu B and some other bits and it was very very disappointing. The lemon chicken was more mushy batter than chicken and the stir fry veg was mostly wet lettuce and mushrooms. All food lacked flavour and was bland.

Had terrible takeaway tonight. As it seems with most takeaways the first order is really nice and this was our fourth over last couple of months and each one has got gradually worse and coincidently the delivery time has got quicker. The chicken in yellow bean with cashew nuts was different colour, less flavour and much drier with less sauce. The chicken in satay sauce had very little sauce and was really really dry and overcooked, the chicken balls had no flavour and really soggy and the sweet sour sauce was like thick jelly and had a horrible tang. Not to mention only half the amount of sauce in the pot to normal. We will not be ordering again. Seems the other reviews over last months have got worse too, not sure what they've changed but def for the worse.

OMG, used to love the food from here but last night I bought a meal from here after not having one for a while. It was absolutely disgusting and ended up throwing it away. Had sweet and sour chicken balls with mushroom chow mein. The chicken balls were all soggy inside, the chicken was really tough with no flavour, the mushrooms were out of a tin, and the chow mein was a greasy mess. The people were nice enough but the decor did not look so clean.

Annoying. Their app stated 60 mins delivery. This suited me fine so I ordered at 17:25. After completing the order the app said it would be at 18:05 or before. Too early, so I had to hurry. The food actually came at 17:40. Just 15 minutes after I ordered it. This is NOT good service, it is VERY ANNOYING. I hadn't finished in the garden, had no time for a drink and no time to feed my animals before I had to start eating. What is the point of a time estimate? Their food, however, is always of a good standard and large portions. I always have to freeze a couple of dishes because of the min £20.

We were in town in Horsham this morning and my wife wanted some breakfast. We were in the Swan Walk Shopping Centre and we visited The Muffin Break cafe’. What a BIG MISTAKE! I ordered the full breakfast. After the first bite, I was ready to throw up! It was so cold and awful! I had to take it back! I went up to the counter and put the plate down and told the young man that he was welcome to it as I couldn’t eat it. I said ‘It was the worst breakfast I’ve ever had!’. I went back to join my wife at our table. And, silly me, I thought that maybe the manager would come up to me and ask what the problem was and whether they could do anything to make things better. Well, to no avail! They ignored it! I guess they must be used to people complain! Lesson? NEVER GO BACK! I would give them a negative score if I could.

Cold tea because the hot water machine wasn’t on but still proceeded to serve it to me and others. Cold coffee. Poor service and one guy had a bad attitude to the customers. Never returning

A nice location round the corner in the shopping arcade. Open tables and chairs and well-designed partitions provide sufficient airflow which is good for covid-free customers like me. Staff was very friendly and helpful when accepting my order of a bagel and a cup of cappuccino. Tables are cleaned after each customer use. I'm very happy with its service. Highly recommended for lunch break which I had.

Coffee was good. Cakes were disappointing. Didn't finish the brownie as it was lardy and tasteless

Stopped for a cheese and tomato toastie and a coffee - fairly simple. Bread on sandwich was nice but cheese was non existent. Certainly not worth nearly a fiver. Coffee was good if a little over priced but where isn’t in Horsham these days. Staff ok, nothing special, did their job!

Popped in for tea and cake last week. Really large selection and looked reasonably priced. The person in front got overcharged for a cake and pointed out the price to the server, who got very annoyed that the prices were incorrect on the display. He changed the price for the customer but shouted at his colleague, "How many times have a bloody said to change this, I'm fed up." She changed it, and he continued to shout at her. This is totally unacceptable! And I didn't like what I saw from him towards his staff over something so small. No one deserves to be shouted at at work! We won't return there again. Cake was clearly frozen and thawed out because the icing was very heavy.

Really friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The food is delicious - I highly recommended the pastel de nata which are addictive, as well as the bifana wrap. The portions are so generous and everything is reasonably priced.

Amazing food! Generous portions that you can actually share, we had to take some home! Owners are friendly and lovely and really nice, cosy space. Great for your Portuguese foods that you can't usually get! We will be returning with our kids. Definitely a place you must visit.

What a little gem, we wished we had this in our neighbourhood! We were staying at Wattlehurst Farm camping/fishing and came for a breakfast (and the fresh natas). Clear local favourite with full cooked breakfasts/and wraps, good coffee, smoothies and a very hearty Portuguese bifana special and of course hot-out -of the- oven - nata!

Absolutely love this unique cafe with amazing staff and service. Their food is like no other, as very generous portions and excellent quality. Real value for money and food you do not find anywhere else. It is a little grocery shop too with many awesome items from Portugal and South Africa. Their pastries are INCREDIBLE! A quaint gem in Horsham. Please support them as much as possible as truly a unique experience! Highly recommended x

After moving to the UK this was the first place that felt like home with foods, drinks, snacks and more. The owners are very lovely and hearing one of them speak Afrikaans was very welcoming as well! Almost got me in tears 😊

Melissa was bloody brilliant. Fantastic from start to finish. Me and my friend wanted to play darts and she stayed open especially for us to have a beer and a few games of darts. Wish this pub was in my home town and would deffo recommend if you walk past, stop near or just use this as you’re local boozer. I use the word boozer as this pub was the definition of it. Thank you for a wicked night!

Came in for a drink and I must say Emma R is such a character and brings a real flair to the place. She is so lovely to talk to and the way we talk would be as if im talking to a friend. Her personality really comes out and shows what customer service is about by going above and beyond. Would 100% come back and hope its during her next shift.

Melissa was an extremely friendly and made us newcomers feel at home. Dart board was great, great pub and even better service.

I'm a regular Kororo Customer, mainly a weekly visit to the Guildford Branch, but have always found the Horsham one to be lacking in portion size compared to others. I like others have ridden the recent price hikes of their dishes on the basis that its really tasty and portion sizes remain good. But Horsham's insistance to wrap the container in an additional, completely unneccessary, film of cling-film is laughable. As if to pretend that the food is going to com bursting out the top of the container!!! The fact that the contents was touching the top of the lid was only becaue I had a similar pot of sweet and sour chicken stacked on top of it that pressed the lid down!! (see photos taken today)

My experience here was very similar to some of the other reviews. I went into the Horsham store the other day for lunch and stood at the counter for just over five minutes waiting to be acknowledged as the two staff members spent the time dealing with Deliveroo orders. Now I appreciate the delivery side of the business is important, but if someone is stood there infront of you, surely you would serve them first? Or at least acknowledge them? In any case, I gave up on waiting in the end and went and bought lunch elsewhere.

Salmon teriyaki was very off-tasting - have this semi regularly from other Kokoros and it's always great. Had a thick bready coating and barely any salmon, the sauce was thin and not like the glaze it usually has. Also weren't offered cutlery and had to ask + dirty tables with food on.

My go-to place in Horsham if I want good food at a fast pace. Served by a really friendly member of staff last time out. Always very generous with servings too which can never go unnoticed!

Absolutely delicious and generous portions. New to the area, trying out a new place every week and kokoro was mentioned a few times so I had to give it a try. At first I was hesitant because I'm not a Sushi fan, but looking over there extended menu there was so many options I'm going to have to return to try other dishes. This place was hard to find as a newbie in Horsham but well worth it. Food was delicious. No queue and fast serving times. Shame my noodles were heated up in the microwave but I'll allow it because they were delicious aswell. Portion size is generous and a large will fill you up.

Disgusting warmed up food. Simple chips warmed up, waited 5 minutes to be served old warmed up food. He must have saved 50p to serve total crap.

I am a driver. I have Delivery on this side of the country. I saw the place on the corner I want to buy something to eat. They charge me £9 for medium donna kebab and the guy from the counter he said to me give me £13 I make you mealI said to him No it’s already expensive but anyway bad experience be careful guys when you come to places like this.food is dry 🤦‍♂️0 out 0

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Ordered a mixed doner kebab and 90% of the meat was straight up patches of chicken skin (left) and the lamb meat looked absolutely disgusting. Looked like it had been dried out for months. I know what a good lamb kebab looks like, this looks life threatening. No meat in sight! They didn’t even bother to cut up the salad properly either and overall small portions of everything. Disgusting quality. I have never had such a poor kebab, how this place is still running is beyond me.Go eat anywhere else and certainly don’t settle for this rubbish.

Before the pandemic we used to order kebabs from this place and they were very good, after that the quality dropped a lot. The prices are extremely high. 2 kebabs to take home for 19 pounds, which seems ridiculous to me. The kebabs are cold. I only order meat and they bring me a churro with very little meat and it's cold on top.

Probably the worst kebab I have ever eaten. I'm a huge kebab fan, one of my favourite foods so I've eaten a fair few in my lifetime. This place has the worst kebab I've ever had. The salad tasted old, and wasn't cut properly. Onions were far to chunky and the lettuce and cabbage was way to thick. The meat was rubbery and had a weird aftertaste. Cheap shop bought pitta breads which just crumbled when you tried to pick it up. Overall wasn't happy. Also, there is raw food sitting next to a desert and drinks in the front counter. Avoid at all costs.

A lovely little coffee shop situated centrally in Horsham. They have lovely coffees and wonderful staff. A nice addition is the small chocolate which is served with the coffee. Prices are average, meaning that they're roughly the general market rate for a highstreet coffee shop. I can't speak to the food as I didn't have any, though there was a selection of sweet treats available as one went in and they looked very nice.

This has to have been the single best scone I have ever had 😍 the coffee was so delicious and the staff were the loveliest. I don’t visit Horsham often but will 100% be returning just for this gorgeous cafe

Seriously Good Choccy in Horsham! Just popped into this chocolate place in Horsham and gotta say, it was a proper treat! The chocolate itself? Bang on. Really tasty, proper quality stuff. And it's not just about the chocolate, they've got loads of other tasty bits and bobs, including some awesome ice creams – perfect for a sunny day (or any day, let's be honest!). But honestly, if you're in Horsham and fancy something sweet, definitely give these guys a visit. You won't regret it!

Wonderful coffee shop, we have enjoyed visiting Chococo on a regular basis for a long time. The staff are so friendly and cheerful, it's our favourite place in Horsham where we know we will get a warm welcome and a lovely cup of coffee, the chocolate is fantastic too.

I ordered 2 coffees and a cake, it took 15 minutes for the staff to serve! Once served, there was no brown sugar, so I had to literally go hunting for it. In addition, there weren't any napkins available. The customer service was just awful, incredibly appalling. The coffee? - It was ok, but nothing to write home about (served luke warm I might add). The cake? - it was dry at best! Perhaps left out in the air for too long? Who knows! 🤷 My intention was to actually go to Caffe Nero/Starbucks as I walked from the bottom of town but decided to give this place a go - I regretted every single minute of it. Also worth noting that they had about 6 members of staff yet somehow they were painfully slow on service and customers who walked in were told, "You'll have to wait, we have an invisible cue here of orders that have piled up and need serving first..." - where is the organisation? Where is the service? Where is management? Utterly, utterly poorly.

Really disappointed, we ordered Breakfast baguettes through Deliveroo and the sausages were such poor quality, the bacon was literally just fat, it was dry, despite us asking for brown sauce. Thank you but no thank you.

If hidden gems is your thing, then this place is for you. It's a no frills cafe with focus on service and quality food. The staff are always pleasant and the only bad feeling I've ever had is when I've convinced myself not to buy a cake and regretted it when I for home. Beeches, you really have been hiding in plane sight. Best breakfast rolls in Horsham, hands down.

A true gem of Horsham. Offering a marvellous selection food and drinks. A great family run business. Excellent service and great value. Knocks spots of the competition. I have been asked to update my review. The only additional comment I can had is Beeches Buffet is even better, wider range. Delivery now available, brilliant.

Although the food was a bit erratic in quality - sandwiches usually great, savouries varied in quality - this was going to be my regular lunch place. Unfortunately a rude older staff member means I won't be back. I asked for something they'd run out of, and the server whose English isn't perfect said "we do quick one". In the moment I had no idea what she meant ("we'll make some quickly" it turned out), and my query plus other stuff chasing her then set off the older lady in her rant. A shame.
