We visited Bricin last night and had an amazing dining experience. The service was amazing, and Noreen is truly the best server we have had in this trip. The food was all delicious, and I highly recommend the steak and boxty!

A little gem of a restaurant upstairs a lovely, tasteful gift shop. Great food and great service! Noreen was a superstar, always smiling and working her socks off with fantastic service but managed to make us feel like we were the only ones in the restaurant. The boxty with ratatouille was excellent, although all of the food looked good from the plates being taken through the restaurant. We didn’t have a reservation but only waited 15minutes on a busy Wednesday night. Plus the suave Johnny running the busy door while remaining the perfect host. Thanks for a great night. I highly recommend this place.

A must visit in Killarney! Staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Incredible food, locally sourced. The beef was melt-in-mouth tender and full of flavour. It’s a large restaurant and it does get quite noisy which is why I rated lower on atmosphere. It was difficult to hear each other on the table.

I just wanted to try Irish Boxty, heard Bricin is best in town & I am not disappointed! I chosen lamb curry filling it’s delicious and not spicy. Loved it! While waiting for my order, the lady server was very thoughtful to have brought me a Killarney photo book knowing I am dining alone, nice touch! P/S: I was lucky to get a table as I walked in at 6pm sharp, when I left there were few people waiting in line but table turn fairly quickly.

Made a reservation to eat here with our 5 year old. Located above a beautiful little shop. All the staff were super friendly and welcoming. Atmosphere, decoration - all very comfortable and warm. Menu had lots of options, including a "table d'hote" for early seating. Also a great kid's menu. Everything was delicious. Fried Camembert very cheesy, chowder great, chicken curry creamy and delicious, vege boxty very original and tasty! Our son enjoyed his chicken goujons with mashed potatoes very much. HIGHLY recommend.

A nice find in Killarney. I had the venison special. It was cooked to perfection. The sauce added depth of savory flavor to the whole dish. The service was great. I would recommend for anyone looking for really good food.

This was, without a doubt, the best restaurant I’ve ever been to. The starter, a chicken bruschetta, was absolutely delicious – perfectly seasoned and full of flavor. The main course was equally amazing: tender meat served with creamy mashed potatoes, fries, and a side of perfectly cooked mixed vegetables. Every bite was wonderful. To top it all off, dessert with a cup of coffee was simply sensational. I honestly don’t have words to describe how happy and satisfied I felt after leaving this place. The service was flawless – the two staff members who assisted me were incredibly kind and welcoming. It was truly one of the best Sundays I’ve ever had in Ireland. Highly recommended!

This place may have been good years ago, but menu needs serious refreshing and improvements. From the over boiled vegetables that dad would make, to the pre-cooked and warmed entrées, the food was not the best overall. Salmon app took little effort, I've had better seafood soup. Rare rack of lamb was well done and chewy, halibut was best, meatballs were not great, steak was ok, pasta was fair. Overall disappointing food was not of the quality expected, resembling reheated buffet fast food. Service was fair at best. Could not recommend their are to many better restaurants in town.

This was the best meal I had in 12 days across Ireland, and, was the best steak I've ever had in my entire life of steak-eating. The cook on the steak was a perfect medium rare, the steak on its own tasted heavenly!! Amazing experience, the food is great, the atmosphere wonderful and the staff super friendly and efficient. I honestly could not have asked for a better last meal in Ireland during my vacation. Would highly recommend you stop in and enjoy a cut of Irish beef! 😋

Food was SO tasty! Lovely staff. Really glad we found this place. Everywhere seemed expensive in Killarney - this place was reasonable for the excellent quality. Highly recommend the beef stroganoff and the homemade bread was delicious.

It was quite at lunchtime but we were very happy with our Pan seared 6oz Steak Sandwich with tender sirloin, sautéed Mushrooms & onions, toasted Ciabatta bread salad & house fries This was why we came to Killarney and we weren't disappointed. Really nice steak sandwich. Friendly staff. Good honest steak speaks for itself. I recommend it, when in Killarney give it a try.

I just had dinner at Treyvaud's, and all I can say is WOW. Every single dish that we had was perfectly prepared and tasted delicious. If out of all of them I had to pick just one, that would be the rack of lamb. The service was top notch with the servers being very friendly and accommodating. If you're in the city just for one night and have to pick a restaurant, this is it.

We wanted to try Thai food and walked into this establishment in Killarney. The smells and flavors were very enticing upon entry. However, we were really disappointed with the fishy taste in all the dishes inspite of our earlier request to be meat/fish free. So we sent it back

Coming from California and not having been to Thailand, the pineapple fried rice tasted pretty similar to what I’ve had back home, just saltier. The pad Thai was okay. It was sweeter and saltier than what I’m used to. The service was excellent. Staff were friendly and attentive. Worth a visit if you can grab a table since it does get busy.

This is a really impressive small restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere and a chilled vibe. The seating is secluded and really comfortable too and although it's old style, it's very clean. The staff are very well trained and so friendly and attentive. The food is gorgeous at a simply incredible price. They also have a free scoop ice-cream when you're finished your food which is a lovely touch. I really liked this place and will visit again.

We visited for dinner last night and had a feast! We liked almost everything we tried, but there were some standouts for sure too. Highly recommend eating here. Service was good overall. I didn’t catch her name but our server was this lovely young lady with blonde hair. The only negative thing about the meal was seeing our server be spoken to in an unprofessional manner from a couple of the other girls working there. At one point there was also some confusion about what my aunt ordered, and one of these same women was very impatient with her and even rolled her eyes. Apart from these negative interactions it was a great experience.

In search of a bit of spice and comfort, decided on Khao’s sweet & sour chicken and beef soup. The soup was warm and full of spice and flavor. Staff was friendly and attentive. Prices are fair. Overall good experience and good food. #killarney #asian #chicken

Absolutely fabulous, I've just had the best Chinese food I've ever eaten, everything we tried was delicious, even the homemade ice cream tasted amazing, very friendly staff, if I could give this restaurant 10 stars - I would!!! 100% we'll recommended.

A wonderful café celebrating its tenth anniversary! I really enjoy the variety of Asian food and the option to choose vegan dishes made to your own taste and needs. The food is always delicious, and the service is very fast. I especially like the seating area on the second floor — it would be great if it were open for visitors more often. Sometimes the dishes can be quite spicy on certain days, so it would be helpful if staff could mention that in advance for those who prefer milder flavours. Other than that, everything is perfect — great service, décor, and food. We visit this place often, and I wish the team continued success and growth!

Went here based on reviews and it was enjoyable. I ordered the lamb shank with extra veggies and it was good. My friend had the chicken special and she enjoyed it too. The bread and butter they give you for free at the beginning was delicious too. Service was fast and kind. To me it seemed like a good place to go get traditional Irish food!

Very yummy pub food! We had the fried Brie appetizer, Shepard’s pie and roast of the day (lamb) desserts of toffee pudding and raspberry merengue. It was all tasty and comforting. We got there around 6 and there was only 1 table left so it might be safer to book in advance but thankfully it worked out for us.

We managed to get a table at this local, family operated restaurant on our first night in Killarney and I’m so glad we did. The food was not only delicious, but tasted like a mom’s home cooking. We got the seafood chowder, the lamb shank, and the fish and chips. The fish and chips were my favorite of the whole trip. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area!

Absolutely first class restaurant in the heart of Killarney . We had the Shepherds pie (best I have ever had,) and roast lamb, both were excellent. Desert was a sticky toffee pudding accompanied with whipped cream and ice cream. It was superb. The service was attentive and wzrm, and Chef Alan has an attention to detail and a gift for creating dishes that would satisfy the most demanding foody. The roast Lamb for example was served on a bed of home made staffing with mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables. The shepherds pie was accompanied by a salad with a home made dressing that was great. Highly recommended.

Cronin's is a top restaurant. We loved being upstairs under Mary's great care. We ate there both of our nights in Killarney. The food and wine menus are well-curated. The lamb shank was outstanding, as were the fish and chips and fish trio. The ambiance, coziness and comfort exceeds other places in the area we visited.

Excellent food and service! Probably the best mushy peas I have ever had, tasted like it was flavored with a bit of mint! Every detail was delicious. Highly recommend! Ended the meal with sticky toffee pudding, the plate was clean within minutes.

Not my favorite food of the trip. Underwhelmed with the food. The options were more unique than other restaurants. But I didn’t really love my food. Got the early bird special so had chicken wings and salad. The salad wasn’t amazing. It also took a long time. My friend had the steak and said it was fine. It was very dry. A couple people recommended this to us but if I were you I would pass.

There was a bit of a wait, but we felt it was worth it. We enjoyed the atmosphere, our section each table was sectioned off to itself. It was loud, but we could still talk. The food was delicious, and they kept the drinks coming. The staff were friendly and helpful making suggestions when we needed. We’d definitely all recommend this place.

The food is disgusting, avoid at all costs. We ordered the soup of the day and we got vegetable soup that had more cilantro than vegetables in it and was absolutely inedible. Main course, fish and chips, fish tasteless and potatoes not peeled. Chicken wings so sweet that they were not edible, out of 5 pieces they served not even two were eaten. Iceberg salad with bacon and croutons was served in a huge chunk resembling cow feed rather than salad you would serve people! Horrible experience!

Really good food. We ordered salmon with mash and the dish with hake, fish were really fresh and well seasoned. Staff were attentive and checked on us a few times. Prices were a bit on the higher side but I’d say it’s around the same price as other restaurants in the area.

It was the best meal we had since we arrived Ireland. I dont like much fried food, so this place is great! We had grilled fish (hake local to the region, you should look up a photo of the fish, it is scary looking. The meat is firm) we had oysters. Very fresh and "sweet" if you know what i mean. Also had garlic shrimp and scallops. They were all every good. Also had Murphy beer. It is a stout. I actually like it more than Guinness. Haha..

Recommended to this place by a few locals & perhaps it just was not our cup of tea. Prices were ghastly & the food was not worth it. We shared a starter & a main no drinks and this was our most expensive & least memorable meal of the trip. Sourdough that came with the chili shrimp was the best part of the meal.

Strolling along main st and hoping for a table and we got lucky! We had starter's of prawns that were very fresh and in a beautiful garlic, cilli and butter sauce, along with the 'favorite' smoked salmon that tasted delicious. Our mains of BBQ whole Lemon sole and fish and chips were both cooked perfectly and full of flavour. Clearly the fish was very fresh, the atmosphere was bustling and high energy, a perfect meal in a renowned Killarney establishment.

We chanced it without a reservation and the staff were very accommodating and made a table outside for us. Some of the best fish we’ve had - very fresh! Loved the scallops and salmon and the fish and chips were excellent!

My boyfriend and I visited The Mad Monk during our stay in Killarney. It was a lovely dinner. For starters, we shared the seared scallops. The sauce was creamy and flavorful, and the scallops were well caramelized. For our mains, I got the prawns. They were pretty fresh but a bit oily to me. My boyfriend ordered the salmon, which was perfectly cooked. The sides were all delicious—the potato beneath the salmon had a nice sweetness with a hint of herbs. For dessert, we had the warm crumble of the day, which was a raspberry crumble with vanilla ice cream. We loved it! It was tangy and flavorful, with just the right amount of sweetness. Our server for the night was also very nice and friendly. Overall, we really enjoyed our meal and highly recommend.

This seafood restaurant has very good fresh seafood. I love their crab claws, oysters and scallops, very good. The chili shrimps were a bit disappointing, not because of the taste but because they used frozen Argentinian shrimps, it didn’t taste the same vs fresh caught shrimps. So I personally wouldn’t recommend this one dish.

We had a three course meal at The Peregrine for a birthday treat, it was a wonderful dining experience. The care and attention to detail at every level is exceptional. The food is just beautiful, your plate has so many different elements which combine to create culinary perfection. The service was just perfect, really lovely staff from the moment you arrive at the front door of the hotel. They also offer an incredible wine list. We would highly recommend. Go treat yourself.

We found both the dinner service and the food quality exceptional at the Peregrine. For evening service it's a solid 5 star experience. We were professionally greeted by the seating host/maitre'd and quickly greeted by our server who remained present but not overly so during our meal. Server assistants kept the meal flowing at a comfortable pace through the meal even as the dining room filled up to capacity. The food was served in an elegant design and was of exceptional quality. The bread was very fresh and portion sizes were of good size but not too much. The dining room itself is of elegant design and noise levels were reasonable allowing your normal voice conversations to be easily heard. A professional and well served evening meal. Unfortunately for breakfast service the whole place changes. While we were still professionally greeted the morning service is challenging. All meals are served ala carte, no buffet. They have an army of people who race about clearing empty tables, while many tables are empty and noone in waiting to get in. Meanwhile you sit waiting for someone to come to serve you. We finally went up to ask the manager on duty if there was a person serving our area. Before we could get to him the seating hostess rushed up and then came over to take the order. We saw the manager in the dining room again. Clearly he tries to stay hidden. We ordered porridge and eggs which was supposed to be served with the porridge first. After some time it all came out together. They serve a large tray of breads and pastries which they cleared after being told we were not done with it. Noone came to check on us after the food was served. They all just went back to clearing the tables. It deserves 5 stars for table clearing skills. Otherwise its a challenging breakfast led by a hidden manager.

We have eaten at the Killarney park before and it was amazing but we felt the food was disappointing this time. It was very quiet in the restaurant. The service was very good the attention we were given was wonderful but we all felt the food fell flat. The bread was delicious the appetizer were ok .The prawn cocktail had way too much mayonnaise in it.my steak was very tender and plenty full. But the potatoes were soapy the veg was tasteless the The girls had John Dory and duck, and had to keep asking for more sauce as they were both quite dry. I don’t usually leave a review, but this was a celebration and I was quite disappointed.

The hotel that houses the Peregrine has rightfully been recognized with the Michelin Key designation. However, Peregrine is a far cry from a Michelin star designation despite the artistry and talent in the kitchen. The food was well prepared, creative and delicious. It was obvious that the team in the kitchen are capable and passionate about providing the diner a wonderful experience. Unfortunately, the front of house staff did not deliver at a comparable level. While there were only about 50% occupied the evening we dined with them and they seemed to have more than adequate staff, service was inattentive and clumsy. We purchased several bottles of high end wine (100-450 Euros) and they failed to refill our glasses during multiple trips too or passed our table. Our table went unserviced for long periods of time and then abruptly cleared. Simple things like basic bread service took considerable time to be delivered (nearly 30 minutes after we sat down). It was a real shame considering the potential and opulence of the property and the fact that they are on Michelins radar.

Delicious fish and chips. We went for the cod and it did taste brilliant and was fresh. Large portions. Service was great too during a busy Saturday night in August banko holiday. Recommend this place!

Taste wise was nothing special. I wanted to get the chowder but then i saw there was a menu special. Half chowder and half salmon sandwich. Why not? Well basically i paid 2.50 euro extra to have half chowder and 2 slice of salmon on the slice of bread that usually comes with the soup. Or in other terms i paid 6.50 for 2 slices of salmon. I guess that if i would have got the full sandwich, they would have gave me the slice of bread above.

Don't have a lot of options no smoked cod and the prices are just a turn off. Me da had the fish and chips no complaint with the food just the prices are disgusting €20 for a fish & chips. Was quality to be fair so dont want to be too harsh.

We went to Quinlan's on Monday, September 8. We did not have a reservation, so had a short wait. Despite being super busy, the staff was friendly and helpful. They were so on the ball with everything. Our food came out really fast once we ordered. The fish and chips were piping hot and delicious. I had the cod, while my husband had hake. Both were absolutely tasty!

Regarding the food my lads an me took fried with fried and some fried to share for the table. Taste is neutral but after the feast you walk realy slow which is great for sight seeing. Chilli Jam was great but we needed to ask to find what out what it actually is. Piacere!

Saw this restaurant on ‘find me gf’ and gave it a try. Fabulous atmosphere, great staff and a delicious meal. We ate the gf Shepards pie and it was tasty, flavoursome and definitely worth the time to go there. The waiter was excellent and we watched the hurling final on tv, the waiter translated the rules of the game!

Through all that offerings of many many pubs and restaurants Hanniganhs is a highlight. Authentic Sheppards pie, Arthur’s pride or burgers - all to the point, also quantity-wise, all staff friendly and working with a smile all the nights.

We grabbed a pint at the bar while waiting for our table, and honestly, I would have waited twice as long had I known how good the food was going to be. The meal started off strong with fresh bread that set the tone, followed by a seafood chowder that was absolutely packed with seafood—rich, hearty, and flavorful. The shepherd’s pie was everything you could hope for: perfectly seasoned, comforting, and satisfying. To finish, we treated ourselves to a glass of whiskey, a coffee, and the warm sticky toffee pudding, which was the perfect sweet ending. Beyond the amazing food, what stood out was the friendly, attentive service that made the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. Ate dinner here twice on our recent trip to Killarney. Both times the food and service were outstanding and very generous portions! In particular I'd recommend the shepherd's pie and also the beef short rib which my husband is still talking about! Both meals were a highlight of our trip.

Staff here was a bit stiff, but the food was really great! They also have nice seats outside where you can enjoy your drinks and easily talk with the locals.

My hubby and myself enjoyed a fabulous lunch and few beers/ sitting out in the sunshine 🌞.Tia our beautiful waitress gave us excellent customer service. Nothing was too much trouble for her. It was very busy but Tia made time for EVERYONE. We will definitely be back for excellent food and service

Came here for lunch and had a very lovely time! Nice atmosphere, service good. Menu had good options and was pretty good. Brie cheese bites were good - very cheesy. Chicken curry was tasty but a bit watery. Kid's menu as well - pizza sauce was a bit sweet but my son liked it. Overall I would recommend - lots on the menu to try.

Both the food and the service were fantastic. Our server was very helpful and gave excellent recommendations. We ordered the traditional Irish stew and the lamb shank, and both exceeded our expectations. The Irish stew was incredibly flavorful. The meat and vegetables were perfectly tender, and the soup was rich without being greasy. It was the perfect, comforting meal for this gloomy, rainy day. The lamb shank was also outstanding. Nice pub in the center of Killarney. We had a hungry party of six that arrived near the end of an important soccer match but they were able to squeeze us in and get us fed. Great service, good food, sports on the TV, and good drinks.

One of the best dishes of my trip. The service was impeccable, our waitress from knowledgeable and attentive. Each dish was very fresh and perfectly cooked. The Tan yard is a beautiful place with a very nice atmosphere and a great vibe. SERVICE is friendly and nice. Food was good, but not excellent. we ordered the wedge salad. steak was perfectly cooked, but a little bit on the tough side. cauliflower was OK. but left a little bit of flavour though cheesy. The garlic shrimp was tasty, but the shrimp was little bit overcooked.

Went here to celebrate my honeymoon with my husband and WOW. They really treated us amazing. The cocktails are so bomb. My hubby got the yew tree and i got the belt and braces and they were the best drinks we had the whole trip. The gruyere mashed potatoes were so good I want to make them for thanksgiving. I got the venison which was good not great but the hostess and the waiter acknowledged our big day, which was so sweet. They gave us a delicious dessert and I am so haopy we came here!

Had dinner at The Tan Yard in the Killarney Plaza Hotel. The starters were lovely — we really enjoyed the croquette and scallops. However, the main fish dishes (Halibut and Black Sole) were quite disappointing for the price — nothing special and not worth the cost. Service was friendly and the atmosphere was nice, but overall, the mains let it down a bit.

Probably the best meal we’ve had this year - brilliant across all three courses, plus great no-alcohol cocktails. Atmosphere also lovely, great vibe inside and good service throughout. We had the croquette to start, the venison and the beef linguine for mains, and the yuzu cake for dessert - all great, the venison the highlight for me. The bread served prior to the courses was also excellent, as were the madeleines that came with the bill - small touches always go a long way. For the money spent (sharing a starter/dessert), you can’t get much better. Would very much recommend!

Wow! This place was a top 3 meal from a two week vacation in Ireland. The mussels are the best we had on our entire vacation and one of the best I have ever had, tomato soup was also killer. Very long whiskey list, attentive and friendly service, calm but cool atmosphere. Will 100% make a point to return here next time I am in Kilkenny!

Our hotel recommended this place for dinner, I am so grateful they did. It was a pleasure to dine here and enjoy local beer along cocktails and a whiskey tasting. The amount of whiskey and gin they have is mind blowing. The waitress was enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. From the main course to the dessert, it was very good. My duck was cooked perfectly and the coffee creme brulé was a perfect ending to a fantastic meal.

Walked in with our son to have a drink and for husband to do whiskey tasting. What an absolutely amazing place! An outstanding amount and variety of scotches/whiskeys. Lots of different beers on tap. Many unique cocktails. Also a gin bar in same place! HIGHLY recommend. Beautifully decorated and stylish atmosphere.

This bar features one of the finest whisky libraries I've encountered, not just in Europe, but globally. Their selection is impressive, ranging from core offerings to rare, vintage collections. The food service is excellent as well—I tried the burger sliders with fries and thoroughly enjoyed them. However, we definitely missed having a whisky expert on hand, which would have elevated the experience to a whole new level, providing personalized recommendations and engaging conversations about Irish whiskies and more.

This is one of the best equipped bars that I have ever seen, with many bottles of Irish, Scottish, American, Japanese on the shelf, even us Whiskey novice can't resist. We ordered 2 Whiskey flight and a charcuterie board, with Crozier Blue, Smoked Gubbeen, Goat's cheese and a selection of top-quality Irish meats, clearly this is not just a whiskey bar. Although we are Whiskey novice, but we certainly enjoyed our Whiskey flight, smooth and very reasonably priced.  They clearly know how to showcase the best of Irish food and drinks, if you ever have a chance to visit Killarney, this is one bar you should not miss.

Great restaurant in the middle of town… service was great and the food was delicious and served hot! Basic wine list but had a good selection. Nice atmosphere if you’re looking for something a little quieter than the pub scene.

18:35 PM Monday and we got sat immediately (upstairs). The crowd here is not too loud but not too quiet either. We started our meal with the goat cheese tartlet which I highly recommend whether you like goat cheese or not. It's fantastic. I ordered a bottle of Spanish Crianza which went perfectly with the goat cheese and was recommended by our server, which BTW was excellent. Fast and to the point but not rushed. We then had the Hake with lentils which was cooked perfectly, and the 8oz burger. The burger is sourced locally and it shows, as it was absolutely fantastic. And the fries came with ketchup on the side; perfection. The Hake was perfectly cooked and softly fell apart as I pulled it with my fork. The lentils were fantastic and so were the potato wedges. I would highly recommend this place! You can't go wrong

Lovely restaurant in city center. Scrumptious food and impeccable service. I enjoyed everything I ordered for dinner. My duck skin was crispy and the meat was tender. My cole slaw was creamy and yummy. Definitely one of the best meals on my trip.

Lovely and hearty meal last night. Great service in a quiet but lively atmosphere. The waitress recommended the lamb shank above all else and she was right…tender, almost melted off the bone…delicious. Split the chocolate and coconut torte with my wife and it was just the right amount for two. If we lived in town, we’d be regulars here.

We made a reservation as getting a dinner place in town can be difficult, and the fillet steak and lamb shank were both very good, as was the service we received from the time we walked into the restaurant. If you’re looking for quality meat dishes and a less busy atmosphere I can definitely recommend this restaurant.

Visiting Killarney, Ireland, I wanted to try the local lamb shank and found it on the menu at Murphy Brownes. My wife was unsure of what she wanted and changed her order after her original choice was already sent to the kitchen. The owner was extremely gracious and kind-hearted in allowing her to change her order. The food arrived quickly and was excellent. I recommend the lamb shank! My wife had the ribeye with garlic butter and was quite pleased. This is a great place with great and caring people! The gentleman in the picture is Murphy, the owner who took great care of us.

I ate slow roast duck with red cabbage and mash potatoes. The duck was delicious with crispy skin and went really well with potatoes, red cabbage and red wine thyme jus. The portion was exactly right making me satisfied. I recommend this restaurant and want to come back to try their other dishes.

This was a lovely find in the heart of Killarney. Great spot for Thai food and the service is really quick. I really enjoyed chatting with the staff who were very approachable and welcoming, Avril in particular was lovely to speak to. In terms of food, they have a vast menu and offer a variety. They split their menu by seafood, chicken, beef, pork and vegetarian dishes (mains). Just a tip, you’ll have to order rice with the main separately. I particularly enjoyed the seasme chicken in the starters and beef with black pepper sauce. They also have desserts and drinks on the menu. Lovely experience at Genting Thai. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent authentic Thai food!.. we got Chicken pad Thai and chicken massaman curry... Both absolutely delicious don't forget to ask for extra spicy Thai homemade sauce, too bad they couldn't bottle it up so I could take it home!!!

Wow is all I can say! We were recommended to come here by the Airbnb we were staying at, and we were blown away by the incredible service, amazing food and beautiful interior. Staff were very friendly and helpful, the menu had a good selection and there was also a vegetarian and vegan menu available too. Food was served quickly, and was simply delicious. I’m glad we reserved a table as the restaurant filled up fast! The interior decor is beautiful with lots of plants, and gold decor inside. I would happily visit again if in the area!

Great find when we needed a little variety on our vacation. Food not as flavorful and no asking of 1-5 star heat as you would get in the states. But over all a beautiful place to get some Thai food and easy to walk to.

Cute cafe, with quirky yet edgy decor and really friendly staff. Went here for breakfast, and ordered coffee and the chocolate biscuit cake (took me down memory lane to my childhood). Loved the slice of goodness that was the cake. They were out of the ham and cheese croissant, so encourage you to go early! Staff was friendly and very quick. The decor was cute and quirky, with things ranging from vinyls to flowers. The patio at the back was green and really nice. The cafe is in a cute lane and has two floors of seating, including indoor and outdoor spaces. If you’re in the neighborhood, I’d definitely recommend you check it out.

Today I visited this gorgeous cafe ☕️ I got a matcha latte and when I tell you I have been thinking about it since I got home ! My mom got a latte and it was so delicious 😋 I got the walnut and coffee cake and my mom got the carrot cake and they were both out of this world 🍰 the cafe was amazing lots of little keepsakes that everyone was admiring, my favourite was the fish tank 🐠 The garden area was very instagramable and seeming as today was a cold day it reminded me of a winters day sitting with friends while having hot chocolates ☕️ The staff were beyond kind and made us feel at home 🥰 highly recommend everyone visit ❗️

We had a really enjoyable breakfast at Manna. It was a weekday morning, so they were able to seat us immediately (though the place was still pretty busy). We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals and iced lattes.

Absolutely, hands down the breakfast in Killarney. Antoinette was so kind and welcoming. I visited twice during my stay in early October and both times, she was just as attentive and friendly. James made the best coffee- the Chai latte was probably the best I had while in Ireland. Both times I visited I ordered the breakfast bap- so yummy! Staff was very welcoming and friendly They quickly merged tables to fit 7 of us. Food came out from kitchen quickly. The one with salmon and prawns mayonnaise and sauce was too much I couldn’t finish it.

Delicious breakfast, huge portions, great value. Staff are so friendly. I had the 'Cure' breakfast and let me tell you, it could cure anything. Delicious hollandaise and good tea as well, not overly stewed. My partner had the eggs royale - big portions of salmon. Really delicious

We visit Killarney 4/5 times a year from the UK. The Killarney Park features at least 2/3 times for a family meal. This time we dined in the Garden Bar, only four dining on this visit, there is usually 6+ The service was prompt, friendly and welcoming. We arrived in the late afternoon despite having a 6.45pm booking, we were accommodated and welcomed without hesitation. However, this time, the food was dreadful. Nothing like our previous experiences. The aged rib eye steak, the potato gratin and even the green seasonal vegetables all tasted of frying oil of some sort. The gratin was a particularly greasy block, that had the same colour from surface throughout - it had not been in an oven but instead dipped in a deep fat fryer, no cream or seasoning. The rib eye was equally greasy and also surprisingly tough with lots of gristle, not what one would expect for a piece of aged beef. The other meals were similarly disappointing - it seemed everything had been cooked in a deep fat fryer. Maybe it was our fault for being there late afternoon on a Sunday, and the regular Chef was on a break or had left. Considering the effort the floor staff go to providing an enjoyable dining experience - the kitchen production doesn’t deserve to be in the same building.

Had a gorgeous lunch in the Garden Bar. The food was absolutely delicious. Our waiter was fantastic. He checked if we had any dietary requirements which was very thoughtful, was happy to take a photo of us and made sure we had a lovely experience overall.

We have taken advantage of the beautiful Sunday weather (3weeks ago) ☀️ and decided to dine in and try Kaynes for the first time… and we’re not disappointed. The food quality is excellent. From presentation to taste was amazing. My kids and I had an amazing dinner, kids can’t wait to come back. Outstanding hospitality and service thank you fr looking after us. Visited this little Gem in Killarny along with a friend and I must say it was one of the BEST pubs I've been to. Was greeted by a cheerful waitress who was so welcoming. Service for atmosphere was just PERFECT. Can't wait to come back

Very nice restaurant with excellent food. Good variety of dishes (also for kids). Friendly and helpful staff. We had the chicken curry, smash burger and chicken in a parmasan crust. Only downside are the tv's. I know it's customary but i find tv's an annoying aspect when eating with friends or family.

Solid 4 stars (rating it comparatively to similar class restaurants). We all liked what we each ordered. Tasty and served hot temperature. Chowder was tasty but amount of ingredients in the chowder was about same in the large as in small (we ordered both sizes), just more broth in the large. To me, it was not worth the price upsizing to the large chowder. Beef burger was quite good. Seafood pasta and the fried chorizo salad were very delicious. Don’t order ginger ale in bottle, this is 2nd restaurant in Ireland the bottle ginger is like 4 ounces but same price or higher than regular size coke, and the ginger ale taste is very subtle. Nice menu choices at fair prices. Seating is very cozy and the staff don’t rush you to close out the tab, you can feel relaxed and take time to enjoy with friends. Restaurant is inside Dromhall hotel with parking onsite.

We had a great time at Killarney Brewing! It's a spacious place with a great atmosphere. Also, the garlic bread was scrumptious! A special shout-out to Adam, the knowledgeable chemist, who answered all of our travel questions. He provided great insights about the different brews and served us some delicious beer flights. Julia was also a cheerful help in the gift shop, where they have some really nice merch.

Excellent craft beers! Welcoming atmosphere and very helpful and friendly staff. Variety of choices of pizzas cooked in a wood oven with light dough and good quality of toppings. We will miss you!

Nice place but overpriced. Seriously, €16 for an A4 size pizza? And we have asked to substitute two ingredients with another two which they had, and they have substituted one fine, but charged extra for the other one, which we didn't know until seeing the receipt. On the brighter side, the place got an atmosphere, with all the vats exposed. But for a dinner I would go some place else.

This is a nice place. The first time I went there (December 2021) was only for beer. The stout was good and the staff friendly, but a little over attentive. I went there again this week, but on this occasion, I had stout and pizza. All was good and the food came in good time. Music was good and the staff were very pleasant. They also welcome dogs, which is another bonus point for them. I can highly recommend.

We went after a jaunting car ride and highly, highly recommend this! The beer and pizza are delicious! We had the spicy Italian and pollo pesto pizzas and would definitely come back for them again! The staff was very friendly and helpful in helping us choose our beer. We were too late to do a tour so the waitress gave us a quick breakdown of the process once we finished our food. Overall amazing experience with delicious food and beer! Would recommend to anyone who likes beer or pizza and we will definitely be back if we're in the area again!

The Killarney Brewing Company location does not have any parking, so all patrons must walk to the location in order to eat. There is no warning on the website, so visitors from out of town find out the hard way. One star down. We arrived a little past 6:00, and easily found an open table downstairs. It took a couple of minutes, but we were waited on by a polite young man who took our drink and pizza order. The drinks came within a couple of minutes. My stout was excellent. Since the place wasn't too busy, we received our pizza order in about 10 minutes. The pizza itself was average at best. The Margherita was a disguised cheese pizza. Definitely not worth 12 Euros. The Mediterranean said it had artichokes, but there were only three tiny pieces. The olives were thrown on so that part of the pizza didn't have any. Not worth the 14 Euros. Overall, it's not worth the walking trouble and price. Get a frozen pizza and your favorite brew.

I’m an early riser and many of the coffee shops in Ireland open later. This one opened promptly at 7 am and made a beautiful cappuccino! Friendly staff. Ordered another to go and was informed that in Killarney they don’t use paper cups. They have the “2GoCup Deposit and Return scheme.” They give you a pretty nice reusable takeaway cup. You pay €2 and can bring it back and get your €2 back. You can also take it to the other participating businesses and turn it in for your money back. Interesting.

Stopped by for a couple of Americanos to go. The staff indicated that Killarney stopped using disposable cups and that you had to rent a cup for 2 euros each. You can turn in the cup and get your euros back which I did. I was fine with the cup but my wife didn't necessarily care for it.

The chocolate chip cookie is better than the Lidl one. And that is a high bar! Mocha is also delicious

Excellent food and service at Piccolo Pizza! Our group of 7 called the day of for a reservation later that evening, 7:30pm, and we were seated right away. It’s a very small establishment so keep that in mind. Excellent Neapolitan pizza (we had the primavera and meat lovers), wine, and we left full and happy. Definitely recommend if you’re in Killarney and you’re looking for something that isn’t straight up pub food.

The pizza was super tasty! The dough was soft, with just the right amount of sauce and toppings. Service was quick and the lady greeted us so warmly. Everything felt really nice and welcoming. Can’t wait to come back! 🍕✨

Placed a takeaway order from Piccolo Pizza and it was quite a good experience all in all. The food was delicious. They have just one option for vegetarians. They also have pastas and desserts on the menu. The interiors of the restaurant are nice and they have some Italian decor - books, posters and maps. The staff is polite and service is fairly quick.

Great spot for some authentic Italian food! The salads were delicious and I had the Quattro Formaggio Pasta which was excellent! Highly recommend.

After a day traveling the Ring of Kerry we stopped at Piccolo! Walking in it immediately smells incredible! We are from the US on holiday and have had our fair share of pizza there! The pizza was amazing, I ordered the margarita and the flavor was some of the best, and the crust was so fluffy. The service was also so incredible. If we are back in Killarney we will absolutely be back to the cozy and delicious Piccolo!

We arrived late enough yesterday evening, staff were very nice and attentive, we ordered a mix combo as a starter it was lovely and fresh. I ordered crispy shredded Beef in a satay sauce it was delicious. It is one of the most expensive Chinese I've ever had. For a starter and 2 mains and 2 pints of Coke,It cost 63.50! The food was nice but very costly.

Ordered a delivery 25 euros . When order came the soy sauce was broken and all over what we ordered. The plastic bag had a pool of soy sauce in the end. Which totally desolved the paper bag the food was in. Rang back and explained the situation after 25 Min on the phone I finally got told the driver will be back and i will be refunded. I gave the driver the disgracefull bag with the soggy spoiled food in it he appologised. Looked inside and just laughed saying he just delivers the food again sorry. Also showed him pictures of the food as I took it out of the bag . Rang back 20 min after driver left was told they Are not going to refund me and they cant re send can my order .So LITTERALY paid 25 euro for absolutely nothing also was abused by the chef who they put on the phone for what ever reason . He kept saying I should ring the gardai. Seriously what food establishment works like this never experienced anything as degrading and horrible. Why they put him on the phone I will never know. Absolute joke and a horrible experience for me and my daughter. Eat anywhere else please if you are reading the review

Old school Asian food place. Food was ok, nothing to write home about - wasn't bad, but wasn't really good too. We were hungry and it did the trick. The place was a little gloomy, but I guess we came in right after they opened and it was empty, probably a part of it. Wasn't cheap but wasn't expensive either. Would probably won't come back, but I can't say it was bad in any way...

This is a review of the restaurant not the take away. Ate here last Wednesday while on a family holiday. Arrived into the restaurant at peak time and it was completely empty which should have been a dead giveaway of what was to come. First off the prices to dine in are absolutely extortionate, we decided to stay as it was late enough and we were all starving (big mistake!), we ordered some starters and mains, when i asked for the amber beef i was told that it was not €23 as it said on the menu but actually now €25! Keep in mind that none of the mains are served with rice or noodles which have to be ordered separately, first time in my life seeing this in a chinese in Ireland. Also keep in mind that its the same food served in the take away, nothing extra special about it. Also €7 for a 330ml bottle of beer take n from a multipack deserves a mention When the starters arrived we knew we made a huge mistake staying, the spring rolls were pure pastry with barely any filling. The sesame prawn toast was the worst ive ever had, firstly it was overcooked and there was literally no prawn in it, just fried bread with sesame seeds on top. At this point we decided to cut our losses and leave. Our mistake to stay cost us €70 for 3 starters and 6 bottles of beer. We should have trusted our gut and left straight away. I will say the staff were nice but surely they must wonder why their restaurant is empty in the height of tourist season in Killarney while every other restaurant in town is fully booked? They need to revise their prices and quality of food served in the restaurant in my opinion. If you want bog standard take away quality chinese at top quality restaurant prices then this is your place. I would not recommend!

We ordered four soups two chicken sweet corn (which were clearly marked as chicken) and two hot and sour soups. Since there was no mention of any meat in the hot and sour soup, we assumed it was vegetarian. But when we opened them, we were shocked to find unknown meat pieces. We called the restaurant and a lady in charge picked up after which she told us the soup had pork and beef. As Indians, this was extremely upsetting, since eating beef is against our religion. We politely requested if they could replace the soups with either vegetarian or chicken ones. Instead of helping, the lady was rude, helpess, and blamed us for the situation. There was no apology from the resturant side and no responsibility taken. We were the ones who apologised to her for ordering from this restaurant. We also requested her if we can have a word with the owner or the manager but she straight away refused. This experience was not just disappointing but it was disrespectful. We will never order from here again.

I was really disappointed with my order. The food smelled and tasted off, and I couldn’t eat it. I contacted the restaurant and Just Eat, but no one was able to help or offer a refund. Very frustrating experience — I won’t be ordering from here again.

We we're limited to takeaway in the evening's as we had a todler on holiday with us that was asleep by 7, we tried 3 or 4 "tourist trap" places in the town before finding the Chinese...... the Chinese was by far and away the best of the lot in every way, spotless clean, reasonably priced, large portions and tasty, highly recommended

I was dealing with Bernie for the last few months. Organising my sister’s hen. What a fantastic lady to deal with and very helpful and very patient. Thanks a million bernie. 😊 The rooms were amazing. So clean and spacious and anything we needed the staff were there to help. the breakfast was WOW, You won’t go hungry. It was unreal. gluten free too. Restaurant/Bar staff so nice and very friendly and good crack. A seating area outside the front too. Location was spot on. We were looking for dinner food and stumbled upon this gem of a place. I had homemade Shepards pie and my husband had the homemade catch of the day. Delicious 😋 food!! So happy we found this place! Live music was nice as well ;). We had a good time here!

Quiet rooms with a very nice updated bathroom. Location is excellent and the breakfast is well worth coming here in the morning. Staff are friendly and helpful. No onsite parking but Lewis Street is cheap and nearby.

We recently stay at the Failte Hotel for 3nights on our holiday from Australia. We had a double room with a cot and a family room. Everything about our stay from start to finish was very enjoyable. The staff were very hospitable and couldn’t do enough for us. The rooms were very comfortable and I was surprised how quiet it was being above the very popular failte bar. The food was beautiful, and the live music was great fun in the bar. If you step outside the door you’re already in the heart of Killarney town, fantastic location with plenty of parking. Highly recommended.

A great experience popped in for a pint of Guinness absolutely outstanding I must say.

Me and my friend went to The Lane during February long weekend and ordered their Arancini for starter and wild mushroom gnocchi and Caesar salad for main course. The gnocchi tasted very good however the Caesar salad was not great. For cocktails we ordered their Oni Groni and Butter me Up - both of which were decent. However their ambiance and their food service was very good. People working at The Lane were very sweet to us. We did not have a reservation and they were quite busy that day and still accommodated us for dinner for two people.

An absolute little gem if you’re looking for something slightly different in an extremely irish town! Service was fast and efficient, and prices were pretty reasonable. Fred calamari for starters had a nice soft texture to them and then we had the chicken enchiladas and the hake tacos. I thought the tacos could do with some more flavour however they were still yum! When I’m in Killarney next, I’ll definitely be back!

The separate vegan menu is so nice to have. I actually asked the server if the menu was vegetarian, because the options seemed too good to be vegan. It is still limited to 2 main dishes, 2 starters, and 2 desserts. However, that is more options than you'd find in most places. I had the Halloumi Arranccini balls, the pasta (good and spicy topped with yogourt), and the brownie with raspberry sorbet. The brownie wasn't worth it, but the rest was fantastic. The price is a bit high in my opinion for what I got. It was a nice night out for sure.

Lovely ambience and great service at The Lane in Killarney. The cocktail menu is fantastic — creative and well-made. However, the mains were underwhelming. The pappardelle with yogurt lacked flavour, and the lamb “taco” was more of a soft tortilla wrap. Generous portions, but the taste didn’t quite match the vibe. Great for drinks, but food could use improvement.

I’ve been to The Lane many times but won’t be dining again. I booked a table for a party of 18. The booking was for 7pm, our table wasn’t ready til 7.30 but we didn’t mind as we ordered cocktails at the bar. Some of the girls were given a cold reception for ordering cocktails, at a cocktail bar. We were seated at 7.30pm but those who chose a main course and dessert didn’t receive any food til after 9pm. Some of which was cold. Especially the burgers. The place wasn’t busy even though it was a Saturday night. Paid what was owed, didn’t leave a cent more. Would not recommend for a party of any size or any occasion.

The team was able to find us a table last minute. Food was served promptly, and oh boy what a great burger and crinkle chips.

The food was delectable with a formidable assortment to choose from. The ambience was chic, catering to crowds that wanted a quiet night out or for those who were looking for a wild night out (depending on where you were seated). Generous portion sizes for the price. Definitely would recommend for groups.

This was an awesome find. We honestly weren't sure what to expect with previous ratings but needed an early breakfast and cup of coffee while traveling through Killarney. We are sure glad that we stopped. The food, coffee, tea, and service was all amazing. I would highly recommend the Eggs Benedict, it was possibly the best I've ever had!

Food quality is excellent. The toilets are clean and well-maintained. Chairs are reasonably comfortable. The staff are courteous and welcoming, and the service is prompt. Overall, it’s an excellent place to relax, have a conversation, after enjoying the Deer Rut.

Very good breakfast options that were fresh and well prepared. They have one of the best coffee in Ireland. Service was okay as employees were not too friendly. Atmosphere of the restaurant was nice just a little crowded as the inside isn't that big, therefore tables are quite close to one another. Prices were reasonable.

Amazingly friendly and efficient service, the food was absolutely amazing. Couldn't fault a thing. Very fairly priced as well. With so many options in Killarney on a Saturday morning I'm delighted I chose here. Will definitely be back on my next visit.

It's a take out pizza sale, also with a delivery service. There is a large selection of pizzas. The dough is special and it must be said that it is very good. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. If you order on site, you can sit on the tables-chairs-benches available. On the other hand, the service is quite cold. No smile, we speak to you coldly and we serve you the same way. Too bad. An effort in service would make this restaurant really good in every way.

This was a true gem to find since most places in Ireland close early for food service. The staff here were so friendly and helpful. They have a nice variety of food ..not just pizza. They recommended corn on my personal pizza. When in Rome.....so I took the risk. DELICIOUS!! Take a look...it is a total Irish looking pizza. This is my new favorite topping🇮🇪🌽Slainte☘️

Had a take away from this pizza restaurant, all food arrived very quickly all food was correct and all food hot. Very good service and very friendly delivery driver. Would recommend.

So the pizza is gross. Greasy and lacking flavor. When I called and asked about red pepper and fresh mozzarella the guy on the phone didn’t know what I was talking about. That’s alarming. They did deliver me a pizza to my hotel at 12:30am which is super convenient. No one else was open so I didn’t have any choices but I didn’t feel good after so next time I will have to plan better. Maybe if I was starving with no other options would I eat here again. Lastly I asked the crushed red pepper to be included on the side and it wasn’t. The delivery did arrive about 10 min early which is good. My hotel was like a 1 min walk away.

And chicken tenders (similar size or smaller than chicken nuggets and tasted like fish) you can also see a blue box next to your produce, that's the frozen pizza I purchased because your food was inedible and dangerous. As for your staff, I am sure some of them work very hard but the man who served me at the counter was cursing and swearing at his colleagues and making fun of other customer orders. He was not friendly or hard working. Shameful behaviour and definitely not somewhere I would take my family again.

The standards have dropped massively from Denjoes/Apache recently. I've had to return my delivery three times in the past few months, I am not a fussy person but the staff in Den Joes can't seem to get an order right lately and my last pizza order was obviously carried on it's side as it was all folded in and squashed to one side. The price of the food is gone threw the roof, the quality of the food has gone threw the floor and the service is absolutely brutal

The girl at the counter tonight hates her job.. She was in a black shirt and black hat, black girl.. No one was there and she didn't even bother to let me know my food was ready.. A half an hour later when I went to the Indian girl, who was lovely, for Help she tried to stop me asking her where my order was.. She's extremely spaced out of her mind and completely hates being there. Please get another job instead of making all our lives miserable...

I have been going to denjoes for a long time and never in my life had a bad experience going there. I adore love care appreciate respect who works there i appreciate them all and what they do for me means so so much and for little things too. Im so grateful for what they all do and i have so much respect for them they are all so lovely to me no bad word to say about them denjoes is my favourite place to go not just for the food but for the people who work there too thank you all 🤗

I've ordered a medium pizza and was charged €15.99 despite a display showing that pop in price of €10.98. I asked why I was charged more the stuff came with some bullshit. For sure, I won't be going there again.

Tried the Buffalo and ranch style chicken Burger and the chicken fillet burger late at night after a rough night of drinks at 2:00 am and have to say its soo satisfying and yummy worth every bite. Quite a queue for the same , however the wait is worth it. Will certainly try the other stuff available 2nd time tasted both the Chicken Filler burger and the Fish fillet burger and oh damn it was soo freaking good soul food 10/10

I got a double smashed burger and chips. The burger was very poor looking, small and hardly anything in it, the cheese was probably two slice of easy single (so misleading) and chips was cold. To serve this for that price is absolutely shocking.

Travelling tourist here from America , I usually don't resort to writing a review at all weather its good or bad but I felt this time its a must. We've been going to this chipper with my wife at least once a year if not more , and each year this takeaway blesses us with their food but this time when we went to mike's it was a little different. Chaos is the best way to describe it. Not only the service treated us like a herd of animals but the food has gone down drastically in quality but the prices have gone UP!?!?!?! Avoid until something serious gets changed to it .

We had the best Burger ever on our way home after the Pub. They also made a smashed burger for us. Loved it!

A fresh hotel with great service and a qualitative bar. The rooms had everything you need from comfortable beds, high quality soap and an espresso machine. I do not have anything negative to say about my experience.

Nice hotel, plenty of parking, very clean. Comfy bed. Breakfast was pretty basic but good, everyone found something to their liking. Coffee was decent. It's a little far from the interesting stuff, but we had a car and Killarney is pretty small... It has a restaurant in house which we didn't go to, looks good though.

Clean and comfortable here. I feel supported on my trip. I chose to include a breakfast for a bit extra. There was a small baked good at the counter available at check in. The room is clean and mostly quiet. Hallway traffic when loud is obvious. The only downsides are a small TV, no washcloths, and the sink has hot and cold separate. I'm enjoying the in room tea kettle with Barry's tea. Coffee is an option as well. I needed a blanket last night and a big blanket was in the closet. I walked about 20-25 minutes from the train station to get here. Staff state the Ross castle is approximately 15 minutes by car from here. There is a good restaurant and bar downstairs which was hugely helpful. The bar man set me up well and was a pleasure. I would stay here again.

Have been with our kids and as we were provided with a table by the bar manager and only to be told it by the manager was residents only bear in mind this manager was a European ! Three people got tables afterwards we have been told and they confirmed they were not residents. It’s 2025 and racism is still and well alive. To the manager we will be seeing you in court !!! Plenty of hotels where we can spend our hard earned money with better service and would be glad to have our custom !

Recently stayed at the heights hotel from start to finish beautiful stay, hospitality 5 star , spotless room. Everywhere was spotless , had dinner and brunch food exceptional and staff, big shout-out to the manager Mark he was a breath of fresh air. Lovely to meet a manager with such a pleasant calm manner.Top notch will be back.

Some of the best pizza I’ve had in a long time - maybe ever! We arrived just before the dinner rush and were quickly seated and able to place our orders, and our food arrived just as quickly! It was clearly that everything was made freshly and with care, and each bite was incredibly flavourful! If I had to make one critique, it would just be that the table service was a bit lacking, we were actually a bit unsure how the ordering process worked - whether we go to the front counter or whether a server would come to us; eventually, after a bit of awkward waiting, we went to the counter to place our orders, and I noticed another diner similarly go to the counter to request service at their table. Aside from this, our experience was great, and if we were local, this would definitely be a favourite go-to spot!

Tldr: if you are an American looking for tasty, well made, pizza go no further. Its perfectly priced, considering all the higher priced food around Ireland I've been to. The pizza was amazing!! The other food looked just as good, I wish I had time to taste it all. The crust was puffy and solid, you could use it for holding up the slice and then I dipped mine in the extra juices and some toppings that fell off. It was delicious. 10/10

The ribs looked great, with a nice crust and good presentation, but unfortunately the meat was extremely tough and hard to chew — it felt like they were cooked only on the grill, without being slow-cooked first. Even the sauces couldn’t fix the texture, which was really disappointing. On the positive side, the pizza was very good and the burger was also delicious — flavorful and well-prepared. Overall, a mixed experience: some dishes were great, but the ribs definitely need improvement.

Came up as a good food spot on tiktok so decided to pop in here for our dinner. Gorgeous food, the empanadas were amazing and the nduja & hot honey pizza was to die for. 100% recommend. Busy for a reason!

I'm a pizza lover and I've tried pizzas in many different cities in Italy, trust me when I say that this one was at the same level, we enjoyed the very traditional flavours of empanadas, choripan and alfajores, everything was really good, the staff was very friendly especially the waiter Rodrigo.

This pizza is hands down some of the best pizza my husband and I have ever had!!! And the empanadas! We haven’t stopped talking about the caramelized goat cheese pizza and the corn and cheese empanada! Everything here is incredible!!

Highly recommended. The staff are excellent. Elena in reception was very welcoming. The morning staff serving breakfast were very friendly too. We had a beautiful dinner in the restaurant. The location is perfect too! Our room was clean and beds were very comfy too.

You really can’t beat the accessibility to the town center from this hotel! Super walkable to everything and the aesthetics of the building itself are charming. It also has amazing service at the front desk and the fact they have a Celtic show perform multiple nights a week (at a small additional ticket price) was a nice add-on! The bar in the lobby is also solid. You’re also a short drive from the best tourist stop in all of Ireland, the Ring of Kerry. My biggest issues primarily came from the room and parking situation. The water pressure in the shower was really poor and the walls are so thin. I could hear my neighbors each night. But honestly the biggest hassle was the parking. It’s nice that it’s free! But it’s such a pain trying to navigate their underground garage and the tight spaces. My partner was having to exit the car each time and try to help me back in so I didn’t hit anything. I even had to crawl over to the passenger seat one time so I could exit the car since the vehicle next to me was so tight. You can park next door at a public lot, but starting in the morning it’s a euro per hour, so just know that in advance. Overall, I’d stay again if I was in town and that mostly thanks to the amazing staff and great location. Just know if you are a light sleeper or have a car, it may be a bit trying at times.

We did not stay at this hotel but the food at the pub was delicious! We came across a friendly couple in Killarney and they highly recommended the pub here. We took their advice and so glad we did. The desserts were delicious (one of the better sticky toffee puddings we had on our trip) and the prime roast beef was delicious!

Amazing hotel, truly a gem within the area of Killarney, perfect location for those wanting to have class, optimal routes for ring of Kerry and truly the best roast I’ve ever had outside of country Australia. The Guinness is perfect for the critic, complimented by tremendous service that puts a lot of “Major” hotel and restaurants to shame. 11/10 would recommend.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay at this hotel. It is in a great location within Killarney, and the room was nice. The parking here is limited and tight. We decided just to park in a nearby lot since we were taking trips around the area. I would stay here again.

We got the mixed dish with the lamb stew, chowder and cabbage and bacon. All very traditional and „normal“ food, but made in a way that made the flavours very special and homemade. The food was extremely well made and high quality, everything harmonized perfectly. The kind of food that makes you eat slowly and enjoy every bite! Definitely worth a visit! Nice atmosphere and very friendly service! The price per meal was around 16€ on average, which was good for the quality and portion size (we shared the mixed plate and got full). The soda bread was fresh and amazing! Five stars!

Very under-reviewed spot for authentic food. Best soda bread we have had all trip. Great selection of foods with a fun €25 platter option - was able to try the chowder, stew and stuffed Turkey/ham with a glass of wine. Very large portion. Super friendly service. Reminded me of a Sunday meal with family.

First time trying Kitty’s Kitchen and they did not disappoint! The chowder was delicious and so was the soda bread. The service was outstanding with many laughs shared between us, other patrons, and staff. If you’re looking for delicious authentic Irish food, then look no more! I’ll be back for more :)

The food is amazing. The soda bread is absolutely scrumptious and we bought a loaf to take back to the U.S. it made the trip perfectly and reheated beautifully. Not only was the food amazing, the service was top notch. All the stews were tasty and got a lot for our money. Small hole in the wall but don't let that fool you. It is quite the gem for Killarney!

Kitty's Kitchen was so good. The service was above and beyond. I was craving an iced tea and she made me a jug. It was amazing! Our food was great. I had the lamb stew with Irish soda bread and my husband had the red chicken curry. Highly recommended!

We had a late breakfast here which they serve all day and it was amazing! My boyfriend had a full Irish and it was great, they kept bringing more tea and toast!! I had poached eggs with avocado and the homemade soda bread was delicious, I’d go back for a slice of that alone! Staff were super friendly, definitely recommend a visit

This is my favourite place to get coffee and brunch in Killarney. I was served by Caitlin who made the best vanilla latte and recommended the hash browns, which were so delicious! The service was impeccable… so quick and attentive, and Caitlin was a delight! I also love the decor in there. It’s funky but doesn’t compromise on comfort. Will definitely be going back often and would recommend to absolutely anyone, whether they are local or just visiting Killarney.

We had the most wonderful experience at Pollys at the Ross Hotel! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We were especially impressed by two male waiters who served us — they were incredibly enthusiastic, engaging, and truly went above and beyond to make our time there special. We happened across Polly’s at The Ross hotel while walking around town. We wanted a non traditional pub and this place was perfect! Great atmosphere, decor, music, drink menu and service from the staff!

Went for a morning coffee in Polly’s for a catch h up with a friend. The coffee was great and Caitlin, the barista, was cheerful and full of good chat. Had a wonderful morning there and would recommend to anyone looking for a more chilled-out coffee experience.

Of all the hotels we were booked for on our two week vacation, this was the one I looked forward to the most. Unfortunately it sadly was the worst stay of our entire trip! The place looks beautiful from the outside and in the lobby but our room was horrible. Room #147 was directly over the loading dock which was incredibly noisy at all hours of the day and night. We called the front desk the first day we arrived as well as spoke with someone at the front desk after spending a sleepless night. In addition to the delivery noise, many employees who smoked went to the same area on their break and we're also very loud. The spa was closed while we were there so we couldn't use the facilities. Our bed was horrible, one side sloped so much, the person on the right side kept falling out of bed. Add to that the TV had no signal and it was pure misery. We spoke with the front desk upon departure, since we booked with CIE tours they couldn't refund any money. She said the manager would contact me, I left my email and one week later, I've heard nothing. Thankfully, our two week vacation included other nice places!

The hotel is in a great location with the park across the street and walking distance to many shoppes, pubs and restaurants. The staff is friendly & attentive. Excellent buffet breakfast is included, as well as 2 great restaurant options onsite. The Tan Yard and Cafe du Parc have great food and drink. Superior room was extremely spacious with a sitting area and fireplace. Water pressure in the shower was top notch. Our room was clean and recently updated. There was construction on the 4th floor, but we didn't hear any noise.

Oh wow! What a place! Great location, beautiful decor, grand staircase, all around wonderful hotel. In out 17 days tour, this was the best. The serivice, the rooms, everything was just great. Only recommendation is theat the thermostates should be digital so one can adjust the tempurater with a number, like 72 F, or 22 C. No guesswork of cold and hot bar.

Hotel was nice. We had an amazing room. Had some loud neighbors which the hotel promptly responded to, so we were grateful for that. The room did have a musty smell that seemed to emit from the bathroom, though we never found a cause. Not something we felt was worth complaining about, but I'm sure if we would've they would've taken care of us. But I know when we booked this hotel there wasn't much availability in the whole town so I didn't feel like it would've been worth trying to switch rooms, especially since it was a VERY nice suite. I'd definitely recommend staying here, very central to the whole town of Killarney. The parking isn't as bad as people say, but I'm also not bothered by having to pay for parking (I did park in the lot one night since the garage was full).

I went to dinner in this hotel with my family. There were 7 of us. We were seated right away as we had a reservation. The ambiance is lovely. We ordered appetizers and we tried to order wine, but they were changing wine lists and nothing that my husband ordered was available. It took a very long time to finally get a bottle of wine. The service was mediocre. It took a long time to put in our orders and a long time to receive our orders. We were traveling with our family through Ireland and this dinner was our dinner to honor the celebration. After dinner, some of us ordered a dessert and my husband also ordered port for us. While we were still eating, a gentleman came up to us and told us that our time at this table was over. We had to leave. WHAT???? This has never happened to us before. We were still eating. Another manager came over and asked how everything was going and my husband told him what had just occurred. He said that he would take care of it. Suddenly they fit the other table of 7 at another table. What started out as a lovely evening turned out not to be so lovely. With the restaurant running like this, I wonder how the hotel is doing. We will not be back to either one.

Really lovely stay here for two nights. Staff are very nice and very efficient. Breakfast had a great selection. It's less than ten minutes walk from the train station. Nothing but good things to say about it.

While our room was very spacious I felt it was a very bland decor which needed some colour. The bathroom had no towel hooks/rail (apart from one directly over the toilet) and also had no glasses for toothbrushes. I thought for the cost of the accommodation better /more toiletries could have been provided eg conditioner and shampoo instead of a combined product. Also shower caps and toothpaste would have been v welcome. I thought the food was good but not exceptional. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The location is excellent I don’t feel it’s value for money at this hotel.

We had such a wonderful experience here! My daughter has a severe egg allergy, which can make eating out really stressful, but the staff went above and beyond to make us feel safe and cared for. From the moment we sat down, our server asked thoughtful questions and double-checked with the kitchen to ensure her meal was completely egg-free. Additionally the food was delicious. We will definitely return the next time we visit Killarney.

Absolutely loved this hotel! It had classic Irish charm while still feeling very comfortable and welcoming. My husband especially enjoyed the putting mat in our room. We only stayed one night, but the staff were so kind and the amenities excellent. When we mentioned it was our honeymoon, they surprised us with a bottle of champagne, which made our stay extra special. Parking was close by and convenient, and the location made it easy to walk everywhere we wanted to go in Killarney. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay in Killarney Royal. Beautiful, big room which had been newly renovated. Gorgeous breakfast and we had a lovely dinner in the hotel bar. We also used the swimming pool in the Great Southern hotel which was a lovely perk. Highly recommend. Travelled with husband and my two kids, 2 and 4 who had a ball.

The Killarney Royal Townhouse exceeded our expectations from the moment we arrived to the time we left. The many thoughtful touches and outstanding customer service made our experience in this lovely, well-located hotel both unique and pleasurable. Gabriel on reception gave us a warm welcome and arranged an early check-in. Our room was attractive and comfortable. The staff service at breakfast was fast, friendly and efficient, the food excellent. (We can recommend the made-to-order omelette.) Yuliia on reception epitomised excellent service, assisting us to plan our day at Killarney National Park and booking a jaunty car for us. We highly recommend this hotel.

We enjoyed our stay at Royal Killarney. The room was large and fresh with a new bathroom. The included breakfast was plentiful with not only a buffet but also delicious choices from a menu. The staff were friendly and helpful. The central, walkable location cannot be beat. I highly recommend this hotel.

Antiquated restaurant with homely atmosphere. Extensive menu, actual menu is very difficult to read due to font style & colour. Suggest this is revised! Lovely welcoming & attentive staff! Beautiful food, seafood was outstanding. Only slight disappointment was the pastry crust of chocolate tart. All requests catered for without fuss, eg: substituting side dishes, sauce/dressing on the side etc. Plan to return!

Visited Gaby's for the first time and would definitely recommend it. The food was fresh and of a really good quality. The presentation of the food showed attention to detail and it was exquisitely cooked. We thought the starters were good, but then the main course was even better. And the deserts were sublime. Nice house wines, too. This is a restaurant well worth the visit.

This is one of my favorite restaurant in town because of the quality of foods and the friendly staffs. Unfortunately, due to Covid-19 restriction, the restaurant not available at the moment. Therefore, you still can enjoy good foods in the bar -Murphy's bar. If you hold a voucher for Lord Kenmare restaurant, you can spend it at Murphy's bar. UPDATE 23rd August 2020.

Last month I decided to chance this place due to the good reviews that I have read. The decor was fine and the staff were friendly . We ordered our drinks and asked for two ice creams for the kids. I was told that the ice cream included smarties and a wafer, yet when the waiter brought out the ice cream, no wafers were to be found. I asked him where were the wafers and he told me they ran out. I insisted on getting what I paid for and told him I want my wafers. He came back out and magically had found some wafers. This whole ordeal ruined my evening and the laziness of staff in my opinion are responsible.

Just had a spectacular family celebration there. Cannot find a single fault. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we all enjoyed it. A special thank you to Jane and Marie for making it such a wonderful evening

AMAZING! Well priced for the quality and service. One of the few places to carry Redbreast 21. Expensive but literally the best whiskey ive EVER had. My wife and I had the racks of lamb and were in heaven. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Killarney.

Really nice restaurant, food is of very high quality and it's a traditional menu. Friendly staff giving excellent service. Located on the second floor of Murphy's pub it's accessed by a stairs and elevator.

My husband and I stayed with Ray and Cathy last week at their lovely home. They made us feel welcome from the start. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was delicious! Ray and Cathy and their lovely daughters went above and beyond in their hospitality towards us. Our room had a spacious bathroom and amazing views. We recommend the stay to anyone visiting the area! Just okay food for 3-courses. Many of it under seasoned. The mashed potatoes were very sub-par. The dessert again was just okay. Had a much better experience elsewhere before (that was a little cheaper) which may have clouded the view.

This is the main restaurant at the outstanding Great Southern Hotel. Serves a fantastic buffet breakfast, offering self service continental and multiple cook to order hot choices. The restaurant also does dinner, which we are still talking about days after dining, as the food was so delicious. Outstanding service at both ends of the day. All the staff should take a bow. Thank you to the Garden Room team!

Food was great,very busy queuing people everywhere. Parking is a pain,cars parked in disabled spots without a blue,badge zero enforcement. Five point turn to get out of the place.

Ordered 10’ pizza and they made it with naan bread dough like wdf when I complaint about it the owner said never had a complaint before and I have a pizza chef well he clearly don’t knw how to make a pizza.

We ordered a kebab here. One vegetarian and one regular. When we got home, we saw that both were meat. Terrible mistake!

It said delivery at 01:48 even though the place closes at 1:30am. I’ve rang and rang about 10 times asking for my order if they received it and they kept hanging up the phone! They rejected my calls but had no problem taking my money. That’s Indians for you! No respect for anyone. No reason at all to be rude. A man answered the second time I rang and said order online but the hote address didn’t show up so i rang to see if they could take it over the phone. Very rude and disrespectful. Lesson learnt - stay away from this wretched place.

Exactly what you would expect from a kebab shop. Food was good, place was clean and reasonably priced. It was a hot day so place was quiet but busy with take away. Seems where locals go so that's a good sign. Overall I was happy

Doner kebab came out the freezer, cardboard tastes better. Absolutely no flavour. And for the high price this place is an absolute rip off. Floor in the kitchen is dirty, hasn't been cleaned in ages by the looks of it. Avoid!!!

The owner is pure theatre, blows hot & cold but overall I took him the right way. However, I heard him say to a family that he didn't have time to make the wrap they had ordered! I tried the filo pastries both sweet & savoury. Spinach & rhubarb. They were ok more filo & not much filling. In a town like Killarney, where cafés and eateries seem to multiply faster than tourists with selfie sticks, you really have to stand out and Killarney Bakery absolutely does. We popped in on a whim after a quick search, and we were immediately drawn to the sweet and savory homemade goodness presented to us in glass cases. You know it’s fresh because they’re literally baking the rolls right there in the back—none of that “fresh-ish” nonsense. We grabbed a half-dozen assorted treats for variety (because why settle for one when you can sample everything?). The jam-filled roll was delightful, the ham and cheese roll hit the savory mark perfectly, but let’s be real—the family favorite was hands-down the chocolate-filled bun. It disappeared so fast I’m not sure we even have proof it existed. Bonus points for the gentleman at the counter who was Croatian, funny, and impressively well-informed about the U.S. state we’re from. He made the experience even more enjoyable with his charm and good humor. Bottom line: Killarney Bakery is the kind of stop that makes you glad you followed your nose (or your wife’s search results). Sweet, savory, fresh, and fun—don’t miss it!

Excellent service and delicious savoury pies. My husband and I shared the spinach and cheese pastry pie and it was perfect before we set out on the road. Great coffee. Sweet options and sandwiches available too. Nice spot!

The owner is a sweet, gentle man working his tail off and he’s doing a great job! Tried several new bakery items we’ve never had before and we loved them! Came back 2 days in a row because we were so impressed. Definitely give this place a visit. The rhubarb, cheese, and apple pie phyllo rolls were de-LISH!!

The rhubarb pie was AMAZING! Definitely worth trying if you're in Killarney. The man behind the counter was super duper friendly and very energetic. He explained everything to us and was not only helpful but also very entertaining. They offer a wide variety of pastries (sweet or savory, with fruit/vegetables or without,...). The prices were absolutely fair – we paid €5 for the rhubarb pie and got more than enough for one person. I can definitely recommend this bakery and I hope to be able to visit again soon!

Not sure how this place maintained such high google maps rating. I grabbed some sandwiches to go to take on a hike and they were so oily they soaked through the paper wrapper and the paper bag. Felt completely inedible just 30 minutes after pickup. Total disappointment as I ordered 3 and had to dispose of them all. What a waste of food. I had to remove the outer layer of the cinnamon bun to be able to eat the centre it was so hard. Not trying to hate as I understand it’s a small local business but please improve the quality. I don’t understand how a sandwich bread is so oily? Man at the counter was helpful and nice.

The food is good. I think it's much tastier than McDonald's or Burger King. The only thing I didn't like about this restaurant, and it really irritated me, was the fact that everyone who ate there had to have their food packed in takeout bags. I consider this a waste of paper. I get a paper straw with my drink to save the environment, but giving me a paper bag that I don't need is fine. It's good for the environment.

Have to say one of the better supermacs. Always clean and always someone cleaning. Food is always good and I have to credit the staff as they always efficient and always very friendly

A cosy place nice and warm, plenty of space and food was hot and freshly made ,especially the chips unlike some others fastfood outlets where the chips are just luck warm.

Ordered what was advertised as FRESHLY SQUEEZED ORANGE JUICE for 4 of us off of Uber Eats and received artificial orange juice with nasty sweeteners and additives including aspartame. After waiting a ridiculously extended time for delivery from Uber Eats, I was sent the wrong items or misleading items at the least- why advertise something else and then send items that are completely different?! That is so unethical and I am hugely disappointed. The juices are still intact and untouched as I am hoping Uber will refund me. Meanwhile it is not ok to advertise one thing and to bait and switch and send an item that is different to what was ordered. It’s unethical and will not lead to long term confidence from customers so sure you made a few euros in the short term but I just don’t understand why you can’t be honest about what you’re selling to your customers who order online.

One of Killarney’s best new takeaways! Great cheeseburger, chicken tenders, taco fries! Wish the tenders were bigger because they were delicious!! Will be back to try more.

I would give all 5 star but unfortunately I wanted to do an online order and I found out that their website is not working. Neither the app. So my money had to be returned which it did happen. Burger on the other hand was soooo tasty. Love the idea of smash burger as its tastier than other burgers around town. Kids size was actually bigger than any other meal deal I ever had. Good amount of chips. Good service. Happy overall.

I can't eat more than a bite. Got the spice bag, the thing was DRENCHED in sauce. Bits of something ( genuinely don't know what it was) were charred black. The box was nearly falling apart with the sauce. I tasted the sauce it was absolutely disgusting. So so salty just completely inedible.
