Where to eat: the 29 best restaurants in Port Barton

Prices are fair - paid about $11 for a calzone and salad and I’m saving part of the calzone for dinner tonight! They serve by the slice but you can’t choose the toppings and the one they had today had eggplant and onion... I have gotten it if it was basic cheese. Only complaints are: 1. I wish they had meat and the dough in both the pizza and 2. calzone were doughy (not cooked enough)- don’t be afraid to let the crust or dough char/brown a bit!! That’s what’s supposed to happen :) and it’s amazing. Portions for the salad was amazing. It’s so hard getting a decent salad in Asia but they’ve got it down!! Would definitely recommend a visit here.

We Visited here on 3 occasions whilst we were in Port Barton, this place serves delicious food. The pizza is unbelievable and is made with super fresh ingredients (easily one of the best pizza's you'll have whilst travelling South East Asia) The salads are super tasty and the pasta is full of flavour (get the fresh pasta) This place will not disappoint

The food here is really good and It's nice to see some vegetarian options (in fact, all of them are). However, it is quite pricey and my girlfriend got her food a good 10 minutes before I got mine. Also, I find it to be a real shame that the pizzas only come in size XXL. I get that It's their 'thing', but seing almost every single company leaving a substantial amount of their pizza behind feels like an unecessairy waste. Despite this, our food was real good and definetly deserves a solid 4/5

The largest pizza I have ever seen! Enough for 2-3 people. You can completely configure the pizza according your own wishes. Various toppings have different prizes. The pizza has a very thin crust and is really delicious. I would recommend to go with a vegetarian option or even to try the vegan version!

Interesting place serving a mixture of pizzas, pastas and salads. Pizza is obviously their main seller. They come in ginormous portion and the price reflects a pizza feeds two people. I was not blown away by the texture of the base as it was bit soggy and I do miss my meat on a pizza but having to pay normal price for a vegetarian pizza. Generally missing the herbs like oregano good marinara sauce you expect in a good pizza. Salads are good though and the parmesan portion is generous.

Great vegetarian and vegan options. Everything is home made. Pizza is freshly cooked on the spot in a real pizza oven! It's one of the only places in town with freshly brewed coffee and real salads. They have healthy options for breakfast as well. Must try the vegan tiramisu.

Over-priced and bland. Vegetarian pizzas with very little flavour, some herbs and a tomato base with a bit of zing would improve things. Okay if you're stuck but really not worth the high reviews given here.

Very slow service!!! We waited for about 45min!!!! We ordered DriedSiLog (dried fish, egg, and garlic rice) and Vegetable Burger. The dried fish in the silog actually had big portion, 3 pieces of dried fish (bisugo). Tasted nice but a bit salty. They could have placed it first on a bowl with water before frying to lessen the saltiness. The Vegetable Burger tasted good. Bun was a bit too soft but we liked it. Total of 235 pesos. 145 for the silog and 90 for the burger.

It's fine if you want a quick meal. Nothing extraordinary or good. The dishes are arranged uncharitably and the ingredients taste more like MSG than natural ingredients. The prices are cheap, which is reflected in the quality. Breakfast was okay but the rice dish was not particularly tasty. A recommendation, there is definitely not from my side. There are better things to enjoy.

A lot of different choices. Additional 2-3 soups and 3 - 4 dishes every day ready to eat. Great vegetable curry, fish soup, bean soup, pumpkin & crab in coconut and massive pancake. Prices are really fair. Service was slow and one of them was very grumpy. If you are hungry eat whatever is on display !

We ordered two burger 1. Chicken 1. Pork with fries and “chicken strips” Let’s start with the burger, they both had 3 pieces of bread excessive and 2 patties that tasted like spam that was put in a bear batter and then called chicken and pork. It was not good at all. The chicken strips and you can see were more like strings, they were ok, but for 85pesos I think it could be much better. The waitress was either having a really bad day or she just hates her job and tourists. All together I wouldn’t go back. Sorry, but places like this either need to be really cheap or actually kind of good...this was neither. Sorry for the bad review, but you need to be better.

Took a slight while for the food to arrive but not too long. The chicken adobo was not bad and very reasonably priced so okay for a quick lunch. However, my girlfriend had a pizza and it is probably the worst pizza we've ever had! But if you avoid the pizza and stick to Filipino food then it is an okay cheap restaurant for some food.

The best restaurant that offers the most affordable Filipino food! Price were very reasonable, staff are friendly and helpful. Accepts custom order like tomato and onion omelette with cheese. The accommodation was worthy of the money too, perfect location, not noisy and has a balcony where you can enjoy the fresh air at night and have a view of the elementary school across. Also, nice dogs! Doesn't beg for food and just stay under the tables.

Today we had our dinner here. The prices are fair. My meal was very delicious 👌🏼. I tried the chicken pasta with extra garlic. The pasta was “al dente” - perfect 👍🏼 The portions are big. Maybe you can get fed up with one meal 😅

We had a great meal at Kusinero del Barrio in Port Barton. The corn soup was smooth and naturally sweet, while the lomi was hearty, flavorful, and full of fresh ingredients. The highlight was the adobo chicken with pineapple — tender meat in a perfectly balanced sweet-savory sauce with a tropical twist. Cozy place, friendly service, and truly tasty Filipino food!

Best place in Port Barton for vegetarian and vegan food but also for meat and fish lovers! Nice interior and warm welcoming staff! Amazing food quality and cheap prices! We had "spicy garlic tofu" and "tofu adobo in pineapple" - absolutly delicious!!!

A very nice place to dine, and if you love arts like any handicrafts this decorative restaurant is perfect for you,Also you can chill with their hammock while waiting for your order, The staff there was very attentive,and friendly. On one hand, an extremely beautiful and nicely decorated place with quite a surprising choice of vegan options. On the other hand, I didn’t like the food much. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing. The sauce tasted too generic, the vegetables in the dish turned out to be only potatoes, and the rice was unevenly overcooked and dry.

An incredibly authentic and good restaurant. With much love the food is prepared here and the friendliness of the staff is overwhelming! Rarely in the Philippines get such a good meal, the ingredients are fresh and the preparation sensationally good. Was here several times for breakfast as well as dinner. Always excellent taste. The prices are more than good for Port Barton. Probably one of the cheapest restaurants in this area. Didn’t pay more than 300peso for a dish and tea. What I definitely recommend is anything with fish! Simply outstanding. Otherwise, the cheese garlic baguette stands out as well as the pancakes and the fresh mangos. A big thank you goes out to the owners who are so friendly and accommodating and advise you on all your needs! Will miss this place as soon as I have to leave Port Barton.

We walked in and the whole place was so real with a wonderful atmosphere that made you think 'oh yes!'. Food was a great taste medley and well executed. The tuna tagaliog sauce was rich and delicious. We made one small mistake in forgetting ask for the tuna red in the middle. Filipino standard is cooked all through which loses flavour - our mistake not theirs ! The service is fabulous and looks like a happy family. Saw them all from grandparents to infant grandchildren. The menu, our bill and lots of photos attached. Very highly recommended. Loved the place!!

It was our first time in Port Barton but we were with friends who were here a few months ago, so they recommended we dine here at Barton Bistro. We dined Sunday night, it wasn’t that much crowded, the vibe was great, we liked the music. The service was also great, specially Ate Joy, she was very nice and accommodating, made our experience more wonderful. Food was delicious and serving time wasn’t too long. Their gelato is also a must try! We had too many gelatos while we were there. We also liked that we stayed just beside the restaurant (at Ausan) so we were able to dine here again for brunch! Enjoyed our drinks while sitting on their bean bags and enjoying the view! We’ll definitely recommend this place to our friends, and we’ll be back! Hope your service stays great, keep it up! Our fave spot in Port Barton. Food was great. Drinks were delicious! Location is beach front and has a great vibe. And shout out to Kiray for being a great server. Will definitely come back when we visit Port Barton again.

Our favourite bar in Port Barton. Every dish we've had has been top, the drinks are affordable and always nice and the service is amazing. The atmosphere is unmatched with a great DJ and guitarist. Kiray and Joy are particularly great. Highly recommend a visit :)

Really loved the experience here, even for a short while. Their drinks are perfect, you can really taste the quality in every sip. The staffs were very attentive, friendly, and really knows how to make customers feel welcome, esp to the staff assigned on our table, Sir Bon🤙🏽. The music and ambiance set the perfect vibe, always got the best song choice, its chill but lively enough to enjoy conversations and good company. Definitely a spot I’d come back to for great drinks and even better atmosphere. Safety and security? Topnotched!! with the security of the bistro, a very honest man. Kudos to everyone🍹🎶

The vibes in this bar are very chill and good. They have happy hour, the cocktails are amazing, especially Piña colada. For dinner we tried tataki, shrimp tacos and hummus. I loved it. I recommend it so much, to go more than one time on your vacation.

Five stars all around! I was in Port Barton for 3 days with family and came back several times for lunch, dinner and happy hour. The chill atmosphere, lovely music by the DJ/live musicians and the food made us returning customers. Tommy’s cocktails and Ana’s service were top tier, but honestly everyone was lovely :)

Love this hostel!! 18 bed dorms but it doesn’t even feel like it. Beds are the most comfortable beds we have slept in, in 2 months! Staff are all so lovely, very helpful and attentive! Hostel is super clean and all the facilities are great. Also in a great location, 2 minute walk to the beach if that. Food is also amazing, green Thai curry is one of the best! Would definitely come again!

I had dinner and beers twice :) it’s really nice cool place, the food is delicious and the workers are super friendly and welcoming! my cousin and I were served by Arjay, very helpful and kind! (We didn’t sleep at the hostel bc we had a reservation but if I come back I will definitely try!)

Very nice hostel! The staff, especially Jason, were very helpful and kind. The beds are very comfortable. It’s not that bad that its 18 bed rooms. Its clean too! The food is also nice.

The place has potential, but several things don’t justify the price. There was never any hot water during my stay, and the music stayed quite loud even after 11 p.m., which made it hard to rest. I canceled one night but they refused to refund the remaining one, which was disappointing. Motorbike rentals are also way too expensive compared to other places nearby. On the bright side, the red curry was really good.👍

Quite possibly the best breakfast/brunch I have ever had. I got the Turkish eggs and my friend got the classic eggs Benedict. Could not recommend more. Their bread is unreal and every element of my dish was incredible

Perhaps we ordered the wrong dishes but we were not overly impressed with this place. It is highly rated and quite expensive compared to nearby eateries so thought it must be good. We ordered the pesto eggs and Turkish eggs. The pesto eggs were tasty but not phenomenal. The Turkish eggs were very bland, basically just poached eggs with yogurt. It had grilled eggplant on the side which genuinely tasted and smelled like cigarettes. I did bring this to their attention and they said it’s the flavours from their new grill. I would suggest they taste it themselves because it was foul. In general the food was alright but not worth the high price point.

I came to this place because of the great reviews and I think people are being very generous for what you get. First, the service is not good, It feels you are annoying then when you order your food and they dont listen when you are asking for things. Second, value for price is just not there. Portions are quite small and quality is not the best for what you paid. My food was very oily, and I paid a lot for little scrambled egg and toast. A toast that I wanted to have with butter but they decided to soak in oil so butter was pointless and didn't taste nice at all. The only thing that is passable is the coffee (although not very hot). My partner asked for the same and didn't like neither. We paid €24. Ridiculous. There are other places in Port Barton way cheaper that offer much better food.

If you want an authentic itilian food, this is the place you'll want to visit. Great food, the carbonara is cooked to perfection. The place seems to be a little humid but it doesn't affect the food. Will recommend 5/5 if you're in Port Barton

This place was great food I had pizza was outstanding best pizza I’ve ever had in the Philippines. Unfortunately they were still making the pasta otherwise would have tried that as well as looked yum

Really great spot in Port Barton, staff are very friendly and accomodating, lots of vegetarian/vegan options & the vibe throughout is lovely, especially on the balcony. Ate here several times during my stay, I recommend the eggplant katsu parmigiana and flatbread. All the drinks and coffee are excellent as well, try the ginger lemonade.

Came here for our first night in Port Barton and kept coming back the rest of our stay. Delicious pizzas straight from the oven and the carbonara pasta was genuinely one of the best I’ve ever had. Staff were wonderful - friendly and with top notch recommendations. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

I ate here everyday (breakfast and dinner) during my 3-day stay in Port Barton, that's how much I liked it! The food is fresh, the portions are generous, the taste is amazing and the options for vegetarians are enough. Keep up the good work, it's truly a little gem that I wish I had close to where I live!

a great value for the price. had the biggest shakshuka i ate in eat asia so far, not that you can find mostly shakshuka here. comes with bread and salad, different options to choose between 2,3,4.. eggs. super tasty and unlike in other cities such as el nido you'd pay twice for half the size. had also some of the deserts and breakfast, and they frankly told me whats smaller and whats bigger (means reasonable to order). only issue is that it's hot sitting there ouside. got no breeze and a big fan to make the bugs at night go away would solve it

Vegetarian, no sugar health restaurant. Food is pretty Good esp the vegie burger. Breakfast was pretty standard. Their coffee is very good for the Philippines. However they do need to work on picking up the pace of service. Once youve ordered food doesn't take long though which is nice so ask for service when u need it. Getting the bill also took a while. Great setting and vibe, well setup. Def worth the visit. Very central.

This place is an absolute gem! It has such a fantastic atmosphere, a very chill vibe and phenomenal service. The cocktails were delicious, especially the mojitos, which come in a variety of flavours. They had a lot of fresh fruit in them and were incredibly refreshing. The food is fresh and so tasty. Their menu options made deciding difficult, but everything tasted amazing. Great atmosphere, service and food! From the moment you walk down the torch lit path leading into the restaurant til you walk out again you will have a great experience! The atmosphere was cosy, with great music and very well decorated interior. The waiters were tentative and easy to get a hold of. The menu was delicious and mouthwatering tasty. The portion size was great. Should I ask for one change it would be that the protein to carb ratio was a little more in balance - so that there should be more meat. Love the place. Well definitely recommend and will definitely be back!

Amazing!! Great food and atmosphere with a good musical background. For us it has been the best place to have dinner in Port Barton. The price is similar to other places but the food is notorioulsy better. They also have a great selection of cocktails. The staff is really nice.

Pros 1. The waitress is friendly. She always smiles. Cons 1. The waitress doesn't understand English well. 2. Cafe latte was too light. (150 pesos) 3. Like everyone says foods are over priced. 4. Chairs are uncomfortable.

Pretty decent food. Jambalaya was good but tasted a bit like a pasta sauce. Pumpkin curry soup was tasty. Mango shake was one of the best I've had. Prices are a bit expensive however.

Fake "special of the day" I have taken the sea food jambalaya without notice the lady I wanted the special of the day. I had been charged the regular price because the portion size is bigger. So, where is the special? Very disapointed by the jambalaya, lookd more than an rice tomato sauce with a few fish and nd seafood. I do a pretty much better one! Clearly a dishonest and overpriced place. But nice location and live music.

Friendly staff but don't try their cajun rice specialty dish. It was a huge portion of rice with ketchup and some pieces of fish and vegetables.

After one year I had to visit this Restaurant/Bar again. I still adore the look and atmosphere here. And the food is still incredible and handmade buy Olive the owner. It’s always worth the visit. This year I had a burger Menü for lunch and it was super delicious. The price was good in my opinion! Thank you and see you again!

The food is amazing and it's been the best eating experience I've had in all of Port Barton. No flies, no dogs waiting under my table, no inconveniences. Just pure focus on my food, and oh my, it is amazing! I went by myself then brought 3 other friends and they all thought it was great. I recommend the tuna or the shrimp platter. It can be pricier than other places by a tiny bit, but I promise you the value is worth it! Try it once, and you'll be eating here your entire stay.

Best food we have had in Port Barton. The sting Ray is unbeatable. Like a Thai green curry type dish. Staff are very friendly and service is great. Will return probably every day while here haha.

It's known as Olive's Crib, however the name was changed into Flavoroso, this is what you'll find on the map now. Many people will tell you the old name still, it's even visible outside but the new menu shows the new name too. We arrived late evening, around 8:30pm and believed it's closed. Light was on and owner seating outside welcoming us. It was not the best impression, as we were the only guests, but once they started cooking, a wonderful smell of butter and garlic spread around. The food was very tasty, fresh made and a bug portion even good for sharing, had seafood. One minus is that we had to ask for service water, which we got fast and the lady gave us one glass only? Anyway, absolutely recommendable, a must to visit.

Great food and atmosphere, though not cheap. Lovely vibes with the mix of Bossa Nova covers and reggae tunes on the stereo. After my lunch I even drank a beer and lied in the hammock for an hour.

If you’re veggie or vegan you need to go here! The BEST tofu dish I’ve ever had. Little tip - the dishes are enough to share between two if you get a rice each. There’s so way I could’ve finished the tofu dish by myself 😂 also the garlic rice… you just need to try. One of the best meals I’ve had in my month of travelling the Philippines.

I stayed here way back in 2009 when Port Barton was still a quiet, off-the-beaten-path village. At that time, they had just built their first bungalow, which cost a fraction of today’s price. While the accommodation has gotten much more expensive, the restaurant is still a great place to eat. Food prices are similar to other spots in town—on the pricey side—but the quality is good. Plus, they serve the cheapest beer in Port Barton, which is obviously a bonus!

We only came for food and found it so delicious that we came back for lunch and dinner every day of our stay in Port Barton. Meals are fresh, service is great and the prices are also pretty good. We highly recommend chicken tinola, a clear gingery soup and also the pork afritada. We can’t get enough of these dishes!

Ended up here as our other accommodation overbooked - we think is a scam to fill this place that is horrible. We had a hut with thin walls and windows that didn’t close so it was impossible to sleep with the noise from the hostel bar opposite and street. The bed was very uncomfortable and the pillows old, flat and smelly. The curtains were almost transparent so the room was lit all night with the opposite hut porch light. The bathroom was filthy, didn’t even have a toilet sit.

I can't say something about the rooms, but me and my Wife really enjoyed the food there! The food is absolutely good for that Price! I had Chicken Curry, Pork Afritada with Rice, loved it's not Chop Chop Meat.. nice Chicken Breast and lean Pork Meat! My wife had grilled Fish and Squid Adobo and she enjoyed it too! Fair Price for good Food! Ok, need to change a bit.. ordered Pork Schnitzel today... there's no Information about it's including Fries.. so ordered Fries extra.. and the Schnitzel was not good, you get pieces of meat in bread crumbs.. completely dry.. can't recommend that! My Wife had Shrimps with rice, that was really delicious..

I read a few reviews that portion size is quite small and unfortunately this is true. However the food both times (boneless chicken curry and stir fried chicken & vegetables) were fantastic so I didn’t mind too much. Plus it’s reasonably priced. Staff were friendly.

Food was really good, we had the pork sisig and pancit canton, both were delicious. When we got there they were full but they got out a table and chairs and managed to accommodate us. Really good service. Portions were the perfect size and I thought the price was fair compared to other places in the Philippines.

Honestly some of the best dishes we’ve ever had! We came here two nights in a row, we had the margarita pizza and Jamaican chicken one evening and the following evening had the pizza again and the spicy chicken burger. It was so delicious!!!! We highly recommend coming here! The drinks were also very nice and reasonably priced and the staff so friendly! The DJ and vibes are also unreal.

We enjoyed our Port Barton weekend trip and will definitely come back! ☺️

We visited for breakfast after seeing so many positive reviews. The setting is lovely, especially with the pool, but unfortunately, the food was a major letdown. We ordered the shakshouka, which came with low-quality white toast and an overcooked egg. The yogurt with granola was served with an unpleasant industrial blueberry jam that wasn’t mentioned on the menu. And the French toast was the most disappointing of all — made from the same industrial white bread, barely dipped in batter, and topped again with that same poor-quality jam. Given the high ratings and the prices, we were genuinely surprised by the lack of quality in the food. Very bad experience.

The lunch we had here was delicious and prices are fairly reasonable. The sinigang was my favourite, all other dishes were also good. You could tell that they take pride with every dish that they make. The staffs were very friendly and accommodating too. Only set back was the Banana flambet. It was a joke, for the price we paid, not worth it.

What a fantastic little gem! It’s a really lovely little bar in a quiet fishing port. Great ambiance. I had slipper lobster (what we call Morton bay bugs back home) delicious. Recommend it highly, laidback and unpretentious tropical bar.

WHAT A FEAST! It was our first time in San Vicente and this place was recommended by Smile Magazine’s cover of the province. They were so right about Mango Bar Restaurant. Honestly, this place was just fantastic. The atmosphere, the setting, the drinks, and the food. We ordered the fish ceviche (kinilaw) and it was the best one my mom and I ever had. It was perfectly chunky and flavourful. The fried sweet and sour lapu lapu was just brilliant. I highly recommend it. It’s exactly what ocean to table is. Then we had the nilaga cuz what’s a Filipino feast without one and it was flavourful “lutong bahay” in the best kind. The staff were also sooo warm and accommodating despite the brown-out. We all just laughed about it. I can see how much care, love and thought each dish and service was worth. This beats all fancy restaurants. I would definitely be coming back and recommending this amazing place to my friends!

Mango Bar is a must try when in San Vicente town proper. The seafoods were divine and were cooked perfectly. We had ceviche / kinilaw, sinigang, and sweet and sour lapu-lapu which was really good! For my drink, I had buko (coconut) shake. The vibes of the place was also nice! A nice stop indeed in the peaceful town of San Vicente. Thank you for the great experience! Looking forward to coming back to Mango Bar soon.

Lovely quiet resturant with reasonable priced food. Pastas and sandwiches from 250 and cocktails / bar options. Wait time was alittle longer than expected for a sandwich, but very tasty and nice place to stop off if your visiting San Vicente.

We stopped for lunch at this restaurant and really liked it. The food was great and the woman who served us was very helpful and gave us some much appreciated advice on the best route to take to return to Port Barton.

While the staff members were friendly and nice, I wish I can say the same for the food. It took over half an hour to get our food. I was expecting something more for 200 pesos since down the street the same chicken could be gotten for 50. But quality wise it tasted just the same. My friends grilled eggplant was so drenched in vinegar that she had to constantly drink water to wash away the taste and the eggplant itself was cold. I wouldn't recommend.

I like this place a lot. We stayed in San Vicente for 4 nights and had two dinners and two breakfasts and were always happy with food, friendly people and the nice atmosphere around. Waffles were delicious, mexican tacos just amazing and noodles very tasty. I can definitelly recomend this restaurant.

Great value for money!! We went twice and everything we ordered to eat was delicious. The staff is very friendly and the place is very cosy and nice. Affordable prices (much better than in El Nido, Coron and even Port Barton). Highly recommended.

Great tacos however too few Chicken inside. Very nice service - just Please Stop saying "excuse me" all the time :) if you are not the only guest your order will take a while but the coctails are cheap instead - enjoy!

I think the location is the best part of this place, it is right on the beach. However the rooms need updating, the linens were awful and it didn’t feel super clean. The staff were friendly and breakfast was ok. But overall you’re paying for the view, the rooms are very basic and like I say really need some attention.

If you're coming to Port Barton make sure you stay at Ausan Beach Front. The staff will bring a smile to your day. Thanks to Zyreme, Ailene, Marjorie for the wonderful welcome. Chilled, relaxed family vibe. Free breakfast was a bonus and the food menu is delicioua. Easy to book island hopping tours. Well located on the beachfront. Don't swim in the sea as there are jellyfish.

Best location in the beach in Port Barton. The rooms are okay but the aircon barely works. There is mold growing in the window unit. The room aircon should be updated to split type. We had to request maid service. Starlink Wi-Fi was good most of the time . Not peaceful and quiet because of live band and noisy staff in resto.

The most amazing venue and location. Right on the beach. You have a full view from the fining area. Free breakfast depending on booking, great food, lovely staff, all very friendly and accommodating. They arrange tours and have massage on site. Good WiFi, air-conditioning works lovely. Highly recommended.

Extremely basic rooms - not worth it unless you cannot find any other options. It's been our worst accomodation in the Philippines. You cannot use the beach - the water is filled with jellyfish and bathing is prohibited. Bathroom smells really bad and looks very dirty. We found receipt from the previous guests - that's how well they clean the room. Be very careful with the gas water heating plant! It leaks a lot of gas and you can get intoxicated while showering. To avoid running out of air leave the bathroom door open while showering. We did not like the restaurant food at all - very basic, lacking salt and taste. Massage was ok the first time but second time the lady interupted the massage 10 times to play with her kid and finished before the hour passed. Cleaning is lacking in shared spaces and they only clean the room if you ask and leave them your room key. Rooms are very small, no space to deposit clothes or anything else. Every night neighbors burn all sorts of residues and garbage so you will never have clean air during nightime. Wifi is almost useless and I could not get any decent signal with Globe Communications. The staff was kind and tried to help us in most cases which we highly appreciate.

We found this hotel to be excellent. Great location Wifi Clean rooms Hot water Aircon was extra but the fan was fine. We found the staff to be very helpful and polite. The owner has a beautiful cat that loves attention and I like the way they let the swifts and swallows nest around the reception. It shows a kindness to animals which is often lacking in our travels. We did a beach clean to pick up cigarette ends and plastic. Respect your surroundings, you are a visitor to this country.

The food was above my expectations and I highly-recommend it! We ate the Chicken Kebab and Mushroom Bacon Cheese Burger. However, the place had poor phone/data signal and was full of mosquitoes on rainy days. We were turned off upon knowing that it still served single-use plastic straws with their drinks. I hope they also advocate on saving the environment like most establishments in Port Barton.

Very interesting as it was brightly lighted up at the corner of the street! Good place to hang out and eat at after the tours or at night after watching the sunset at the beach. Burgers and fries were soooooo good! They even ask you how you want your burger pattie to be cooked - medium, well done, etc. Staff were also friendly! And the live singers were good too!

We opted for the Hawaiian burgers, 1 beef and 1 veggie and both were superb. My only criticism is a little too much bbq sauce but otherwise it was really tasty. They also had live music which made for a great setting and atmosphere. Would highly recommend this place for a bite to eat if your budget allows. 3 beers and 2 burgers were around 750 pesos.

Love their burgers! I had Mamma Mia and my friends boughy Le Bleu and Bacon Mushroom. They were equally satisfied. I also love their calamansi lemonade (i jad two). It is fresh and the calamansi is already sweet. They add honey if you want it sweeter. They serve in reusable metal straws. Most of all, the staff were very attentive and helpful! I love them!! Our server was Wawie, but the rest are also great. They have no preferential treatment to foreigners (unlike other establishments who give more attention to foreigners over Filipino customers).

Great place to meet up. Family owned restaurant where even performance is provided by family members. And best of all you will have a chance to meet best bout tour guide on the island. Joey Ronda. You can ask him anything. During the day he is working on the boat and around 7 pm he will be working at the reef cafe. Apparently also they serving best burgers . I haven't friend unfortunately but everyone else I met they recommended. Have fun there.

I think this is the best Filipino food I had since I’ve been here in Palawan. I highly recommend the Pitik/lobster and adobong squid. Also the pinakbet is good. Seems like they took time to cook our food to make it great. We’ve been to Coron and El Nido and I was not happy with the Filipino food, seem like the just hurry and make the food and call it good. The owner is so nice and so as the people who work there.

Its located at town proper and the only decent resto in San Vicente Poblacion so far.. tasty food, friendly staff.

During our stay in Port Barton we ate several times at Miam Miam Glou Glou. Everything was delicious, the crepes, the fishes and even the cake that I asked them to prepare for my wife's birthday. Hello travelers! From outside the restaurant doesn't attract but taking into consideration that the location was on "waiting" for new and double widening ongoing project, it's difficult to invest on this starting serious tourism development location. The food was on my test, and of course the homemade bread too. I wished to stay longer to test other items on the Menu. I'm pretty sure that the futur for MMGG will be great with this attractive French styles dishes. But why I didn't test the tajine ?? 🤔 I blame my self...

Really cheap good food. We had the ratatouille and vegetable curry and both were nice. Our bill, including a beer and coke, come to ₱350.

Horrible service. We came here quite hungry and looking forward to a good meal. We waited between 60 and 90 minutes for our meal. We asked them about our food a few times, just to get answers like "it will be soon" and "just wait a bit". No apology at any point.

This restaurant is the best one in Port Barton, his coco cocktail is amazing and I simply had the best tuna ceviche (kinilaw) in my entire life. I recommend highly !

We arrived without any particular expectations and were pleasantly surprised in every way. From the very beginning, we were warmly welcomed with a refreshing drink. Our budget room was a bit smaller and more simply equipped than the others, but it was absolutely sufficient for our needs as backpackers – and turned out to be a real little oasis of comfort. Set apart from the other rooms, it felt almost like a private bungalow with a charming terrace surrounded by greenery. The pool may not be large, but it was very clean and perfectly adequate. The staff were exceptionally friendly and always greeted us with a smile. Breakfast was varied and very delicious. All in all, the value for money was excellent. We would highly recommend this place to anyone and would definitely stay here again.

This was by far the best accommodation we had during our entire stay in the Philippines! The staff were incredibly kind and helpful in every situation. We booked a boat trip, a scooter, and a tuk-tuk to the station through them, and everything went smoothly. The room was spacious, clean, and cozy, and every day they asked if we wanted housekeeping. The breakfast was absolutely delicious – the best we had in the Philippines – with a wide variety of choices. The pool area was great for relaxing and enjoying the sun. We highly recommend this place and truly appreciate everything – thank you for making our stay so wonderful!

Hotel Oasis was a great find in the laid-back town of Port Barton. While nothing in the area is particularly fancy, this hotel stood out as one of the few with a swimming pool—which was a huge bonus, especially since it was jellyfish season and we couldn’t swim in the ocean. A really lovely boutique resort with a very beautiful and welcoming ambience, exceptional service and great food and cocktails at the resort restaurant. The owners are a very friendly Swiss and a Filipino couple, so the menu at the resort restaurant marries the dishes from both cuisines very well. Finally we fund a best massage ever and it's here oasis massage spa 👏ialeen the masseuse is very professional to do massage you can feel her hand that she love her job she have very amazing techniques,and lovely 👏me and my wife we try the other massage spa on the town but this is the best one ,I chose the traditional hilot and it's really good 👍 I highly recommended this place to relax very quiet and we fall asleep with a good massage music

We heard a lot of buzz about this place and visited without much expectations. But the place turned out to be very nice. We watched our first sunset in Port Barton from here accompanied by good music and good food. The prices are decent with Happy-Hour offers which run from Sunset onwards. The food was good but lacked vegetarian options. The drinks were nice and fresh. Service was very good. Overall a good place to spend watching the sunset. They have liver performances on mostbof the days.

Great beach location and sunset spot. Food is nice and huge portion of Chicken Noodles. Beer is good. Current happy hour offer is 3 x Beers for 300 peso and get 3 free, which is a steal.

Great atmosphere, perfect spot on the beach with amazing views- plenty of cocktails and food options. My friend and I got the chicken curry and boneless chicken and thoroughly enjoyed them both. Cost around ₽380 per meal.

One of the best spots for sunsets! 😍 My friend and I enjoyed their happy hr from 4-7pm and only spent 1k each for foods and 4 sets of cocktails. 🍸🍹Though their fries went soggy after a while, their chicken curry and chicken fillet were good. They also had a live band which completed the nice atmosphere. Staff were attentive and quick to serve you your food and drinks. Highly recommended! 💯😀

The food is alright but the calamari and grilled squid stood out. They know how to cook them well. If you prefer your drinks with stronger alcohol, I recommend the frozen cocktails. Although the other ones are flavorful, it's not just strong enough. Come for happy hour though and they'll make up for it with the frozen cocktails. It's simple but gives you the buzz at a cost-efficient price. They also have an entertaining fire dance and drum set in the evening! Would recommend it as well.

Absolutely unique experience if you like the calmness in the middle of the jungle. Imagine waking up with roaring but still relaxing jungle sounds with an amazing hill view of the jungle and the sea! Also the cottages are very special equipped with mosquito net and bamboo shower vith sea view. One of a kind experience and if you have the chance to meet the landlord Kuya Bimboy he might invite you to a trip with his family and friends :-) Also the food is exceptionally good! I can highly recommend it. Also there is the stunning 'white beach' in about 10 min. walking distance. But don't forget that you are in thr jungle and it takes about 20-30 min. with Tuk Tuk on a unpaved jungle path to get to Port Barton.

such a good chill vibe and it's olny a 15 min walk through the jungle from white beach. The staff was super nice and helpful. We only ate there, but every meal is homemade and really tasty! Also such a nice chill area for reading, relaxing etc. The lovely ladies even helped us out to get a ride back to Port Barton, since the trails were muddy due to the heavy rain. Came here for lunch from White Beach - totally worth the 15-20 min walk, the views are stunning and the food was delicious!

Only came here for lunch after our hotel owner recommended it when we visited white beach. It’s a 20min walk slightly uphill which can get a bit muddy if it rained but it is definitely worth it. Great views in the middle of an incredible landscape. The food was also exceptional. Highly recommend it!

Amazing place, definitely worth the short hike from white beach. Very chill atmosphere, floor eating set up. You can even take a nap after your meal. The view from the second floor is breathtaking but most importantly - the food outstanding - amazing interpretation of the typical Filipino ingredients. Do not miss this place!

The place is very picturesque, quite and cozy as well. The food is fresh and tasty. The staff is nice. We came after a walk from Port Barton and White beach, but its possible to get to the beach by tuc tucs. Its about 10-15minutes walk from White Beach, so its for those who want to see some beautiful landscapes and nature and are willing to put a little effort.

Wow, rode out here before going to White Beach. What a view and lunch was fantastic. Highly recommended going that little bit further down the road.

Awful and overpriced place! French crepes cost 200 peso for each but they were disgusting. We ordered two types: with banana and mango. There were only few pieces of banana in first one, and the mango wasn’t fresh in the second one. Moreover, I ordered pineapple shake. It tasted like a pineapple juice with water. No milk, no ice. The price 150 peso. I can’t recommend this place!

Lovely 3 night stay right on the water. Very welcoming hosts, good service for all of our needs. Ate nearly every meal on site, delicious breakfasts and dinners, reasonable prices. Enjoyed everything we ordered. Stayed in family room with two full beds and a bunkbed, plenty of room for family of 5. The kids loved playing on the beach, we could watch them from our front porch. Not much swimming due to jellyfish risk but did not impact our ability to splash and enjoy the water. I would absolutely come back!

Rooms are comfy and very clean. Linen crisp and freshly laundered. Housekeeping also efficient. Beach is safer for kids to swim in versus the other end of the cove. The food is one of the best if not the best in Port Barton. Portions are hefty and priced well. Quiet part of the cove, giving station 1 of Boracay feels.

Besaga is truly a hidden gem in Port Barton and one of the most underrated restaurants in town. The chef is exceptional, crafting delicious dishes with fresh, high-quality ingredients. While their grilled fish and seafood are outstanding, they also serve excellent pizzas, pastas, and other meals. No matter what you choose, you can't go wrong here! I include their menu FYI.

We only stayed for lunch here so cannot review the rooms. The setting is beautiful with a lovely dining space. The service unfortunately was slow and while we were the only diners at the time the food was below average and took a long long time to arrive. I would recommend a short walk closer to town to find much better fare for the same price. See my other reviews for recomendations.

Went to this spot because my introvert self (may be part of adulting lol) wanted some isolation/peace. Gosh I love their food! their homemade donut and the pasta was the best for me!!!!! The area is a life of heaven! Way too far from the crowd but the scenery was worth the walk.

To say this place is what nightmares are made of is an understatement. These people ruined our holiday in Port Barton. The only thing good about this place is the location. The staff are extremely rude and condescending, especially the manager, Reya. For example, when telling her the wifi isn’t working, she shoves her phone in your face and exclaims, “it isn’t working for me either!” Or when you order a drink she slams it down on the table in front of you and says, “here!” The rooms are filthy and full of roaches, spiders etc. There were holes in the ceiling where the sunlight is coming through, holes in the walls patched with plywood and the windows don’t close completely leaving you with no insulation. The restaurant blares the same exact playlist every day from 6am to 10pm. The wifi doesn’t work. The TV is broken. The breakfast made me extremely ill everyday. I would let my dog stay here. Do yourself a favour and check-in to the Oasis Hotel. You won’t regret that!!

Didn’t stay here but had bfast today in their cafe. Their food and beverages are way cheaper (they charge 10% sevicefee) compared to the restos along the PB Beach. Service is good, quick and polite staff. I had their pancake stack in chocolate and mocha latte, wrong combo bec both are sweet. Good food and drinks, i’ll try their savory food next time. 😊💯

Sometimes the wood oven pizza is great with a decent amount of topping. Sometimes the tomato sauce and topping is on a minimum. Especially on the margarita. Too much leftover-flour on the bottom base makes it a bit dry but the edge is crusty and fluffy. Dough could use some salt. Service is incredibly fast. We got our dishes within 10 minutes both times we went there. Comfortable seats on the road side. They serve beer. If you add some toppings the taste is really good. Definitely a recommendation. (and a great mango juice!)

After 2 weeks of any type of asian food we were craving pizza soo bad! We got in and it didn’t disappoint at all!! I personally like crunchy base and this was it. Crunchy, right amount of sauce and tasty pizza. Recommend it!

Raquel's Canteen in Port Barton offers a delightful combination of delicious food, friendly service, and incredibly affordable prices. I was particularly impressed by their grilled seafood, fresh and perfectly cooked, their chicken grill and their tinolang manok (chicken soup) was really good. I recommend this place to everyone. The food was excellent. Small plate dishes were around 70 pesos, and the fish and squid were freshly grilled, priced between 200 and 500 pesos. For two people with drinks, we paid between 400 and 800 pesos. We ate here every evening—we couldn’t find a better place.

Good cheap eats in port barton. Paid 160p for this and the flavours were very authentic and free drinking water also when eating here

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE! Food was delicious, affordable and the owners are so nice!! Home cooked meal with a lot of love! I had fresh grilled squid, and sooo many other dishes. I am the type to love trying a bit of everything and this is the place for it!

I got lunch here 90% bones of chicken and double price of rice compare to other local restaurant so if stay here bit longer this isn't right place expect BBQ dinner

Had dinner here every night I was in port Barton! Everyone that works there is so nice and the food is barbecued fresh for you - it’s delicious and so flavourful! Really reasonably priced - highly recommend !!

Great spot for dinner. Open all the pots and pick what you want, each dish for 60 pesos but a good amount of food! They can also explain what each dish is, just ask. Rice included, always. I enjoyed the lentil dish and the grilled chicken was fabulous.

The terrace bar is really beautiful and peaceful. We had some drinks and bbq, the family that owns the place is amazing and incredibly welcoming! The best overlooking in Port Barton!

Everything you need is here, karaoke, live music, cold beer, amazing cocktails and delicious food! Atmosphere of place is gorgeous! It’s number one place to stay/eat/drink in Port Barton! Guys, they have amazing food, I would say the best one in the whole island. You just HAVE to try it. The atmosphere, the vibe and the life music is awesome as well + they have cute chicken that was attacking my bf 😂😂😂 probably she didn’t like him. TOTALLY RECOMMEND TO VISIT

Lovely vibe here with live acoustic music, amazing drinks selection and has some good food options. However my pasta bolognaise tasted a bit strange hence only 4 stars.

Sleepless night in the bamboo hut. The huts are connected and every move your neighbor makes in bed is felt through the wall and vice versa. There was no toilet seat to which the receptionist said “it’s broken”. We left after one night.

Very good food, try chicken curry. The place has solarpower so beer is always cold. The girls in the bar is also very friendly.

I booked and payed this place through Booking.com, but when I got there the place was under construction, so I wasn't allowed to stay there. I was basically scammed.

I am not judging their restaurant, i am judging their scooter rental. They destroyed my ID with tape without even apologizing. Bad service, stay away!
