The steaks are top-notch, and while the prices are a bit high, the quality and experience make it completely worth it. Beyond the steaks, the other food options are also excellent. I especially enjoyed the desserts, which are a must-try. I also want to commend the staff for their outstanding service. I had one unfortunate incident where my baby back ribs were overcooked, but even after we had eaten some, the waiter was very understanding. They replaced the dish with a new, perfectly cooked one completely free of charge. This kind of service really makes a difference. The ambiance is wonderful, but a word of advice for weekend diners: this place gets packed! It's best to arrive early or be prepared for a wait, but trust me, the food is worth it. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant if you're visiting Subic.

Let's just say that Texas Joe's was one of those places where one realizes, yes comfort food could be this better. The quality and flavor of their baby back ribs is as good as ever. And if you have never been here, their full rack serving is the real full rack. Something to note though is that the portion of their sides became smaller. Probably to keep the price competitive. The place also may do good to have some facelift as it has been the same setup ever since as far as I can remember stepping in for the first time. Having said all of that, still definitely when in Subic Freeport this place is my go to and a must try.

Favorite place in Subic!!! Great value for money for steak, ribs, and other meats! Main entree comes with 2 side dishes and green beans! Steak was perfectly cooked and the ribs were soooo tender, falls off the bone! Yummeh! 😋🤤 Brownie dessert with ice cream is moist and creamy! Love it!! Beverages are priced reasonably too! Staffs were attentive and amazing! The ambiance of the place feels like in American movies with cowboy and ranch themed interiors 🤩

We ordered a whole slab of baby back ribs with mashed potatoes and dirty rice on the side, ultimate nachos, shrimp salad, baked salmon, and chicken BBQ. The ribs came generously smothered in sauce, though the flavor was a bit overwhelming. The nachos, oddly, came without guacamole, which we missed. The lighting inside was quite dim, making it a little hard for us to see comfortably, but it didn’t take away from the joy of being together. One thing I appreciated was how clean and well-stocked the restrooms were—a small detail, but it says a lot about how the place is maintained. I was genuinely surprised by how good the steak was — absolutely delicious! We were a group of three and shared two steaks (the striploin and the ribeye), and the portions were perfect for us. It is on the expensive side, but their portions are pretty generous. You can definitely share with each other. It's good for big groups. The staff are friendly enough and the service is fast. We came in around 1pm, and we were seated immediately. The place can get crowded, especially during peak hours, and parking can be a problem during these times.

We're frequent visitors at Xtremely Xpresso Cafe, primarily because their "good morning breakfast" is a consistent favorite of my son. This time, I ventured to try their Filipino breakfast for the first time, and I was pleasantly surprised – it was quite good! However, our experience with some of their other offerings was less impressive. My daughter, a big fan of spaghetti carbonara, found theirs to be bland and unfortunately overcooked, leaving her unable to finish it. Similarly, my husband's parmesan-crusted fish was also bland and "nakakaumay" as it was swimming in an excessive amount of cream. The dish was mostly potato with a sparse amount of fish. Despite these disappointments with our recent order, I'm still inclined to give Xtremely Xpresso Cafe a 4-star rating. This is because their other dishes have consistently been great in the past. We absolutely love their ribs, nachos, French toast, and many other items on their menu. It's possible we just happened to order a few dishes that weren't up to their usual standard this time. Overall, I would still recommend Xtremely Xpresso Cafe. They have a lot of delicious options to choose from, and the location is quite nice, especially in the evening. We'll definitely be back to enjoy our usual favorites!

11/11/25. XX: homey with bang for buck crowd filler food. Our favorite hotel's breakfast... specially the coffee was not to our liking so we went to XX. For the price, this place provides great value. Big serving sizes at an affordable prices compared to similar restaurants. The food isn't exceptional but definitely bang for buck crowd filler so only ⭐⭐⭐⭐. Binabalik-balikan: Baby Back Ribs & Chicken Parmigiana. But their crew's service is top notch. Polite, quick and ready to serve consistently. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lastly, maybe it is time to do a refresh since signs of aging is everywhere. ⭐⭐⭐

Top-notch service even on a Saturday jam-packed evening. All staff were very attentive, and the service was quick even until the billing. I wonder how they train their staff, since we never encountered a restaurant locally that offers this kind of service. I wish all restaurants in the country can follow the way they treat their customers. Also, the pricing was just right and large portions. Good service, good food, happy tummy! Totally recommended, will definitely come back! 😊

Very cozy atmosphere; menu has a wide variety of; soups are great, pastas, pizza, and all breakfast are great to. We ve been staying in Subic for a month and it’s about the best value here. All three meals of the day! Also gelato and cakes.

There is no doubt that the food here is delicious as it is always full and the only problem you'll be dealing with is parking. Luckily, we were able to park a block away across a Chinese restaurant. This is my second time here, the first one was 3yrs ago and the quality is still the same. They have a wide array of drinks and the usual café food - Italian and sought after steaks. The servings are almost for two people (for my standard) that's why my child and I am able to share suitably. I'm actually very full when we left. Though the place is full of guests, it's easy to get the attention of the servers and even the manager who can quickly accomodate you. The food were also served hot and did not take that long. I advise that you visit in off-peak hours so you're able to find ample parking. Thank you Xtremely Xpresso!

The place is mid. Too many people are lining up to eat on this place. Crew are accommodating however, the wait for the foods to arrive are quite long. Probably, it depends just try it. Overall, the foods are Great. Big Serving. Delicious and will definitely go back.

We chose this restaurant for our advance Valentine's Day celebration, but unfortunately, it fell short of expectations. The dining area was uncomfortably hot, making for an unpleasant experience. Our food took a considerable amount of time to arrive, and when it did, it was cold. We were particularly excited to try the lamb, a dish not usually on their menu, but it was served rare, despite my informing the waiter that we preferred it cooked more thoroughly. He simply stated that it was how it was served. The coffee, while flavorful, was lukewarm rather than hot. My pasta dish lacked flavor and required additional salt and pepper. The complimentary bread, though initially promising, was stale. The cheesecake, however, was a standout and the only truly enjoyable part of the meal. While the experience was disappointing, I'm sharing this feedback in hopes that the restaurant can address these issues.

The ambiance was so relaxing, perfect for enjoying a special day with family and friends. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, always making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. My wife and I have passed by Rila’s many times but never went in. Today we did and it was excellent. The food was masarap! And the service was very personable and on point. They allow dogs as ours are always with us. We will return. Bobalik ako!

Celebrating my birthday at Rali’s Restaurant was the best decision! Me and my husband had Pear Prosciutto for starter, and for means we had Mustard Chicken and Short Ribs. Our meal at Ralis Restaurant was exceptional. The short ribs were melt-in-your-mouth delicious, and the mustard chicken had a delightful tangy kick. The view was simply the cherry on top, making it a truly memorable birthday experience. And their staff are amazingly friendly.

It was my first time to bring my family here to eat. The chicken legs were dry, the toast was a little burnt, and the portion of octopus was very small. Pasta tastes good. The food in this restaurant is pretty good, and the unit price is very high. If you want a place with a good atmosphere, this place is worth recommending. But if you think about eating enough, you need to prepare a lot of money, because this restaurant is very expensive

Ate a hearty cut of New York steak and about a third of the ribeye, with mashed potato add-on and some veggie pieces on the side. These were just the ones you order over the counter, although you can also handpick your preferred cut from their freezers at a different price. Try their apple pie for dessert. I was rather pleased with that slice. Outside seating of a few tables is available. The place is big enough to host larger groups.

Used to be my go to steak place on Subic quick rides. I noticed the steak has gone thinner. Still good enough though for its price. You can still get fancy and pick your own steak cut from their fridge

Through the years this restaurant has been a go to place whenever we are at Subic Bay Free Port. It is the only place left open on this side of Subic. The once lively duty- free shop next to it has long been closed and looked so dilapidated. We stopped over for early dinner there. We ordered our usual Ribeye Steak and Caesar Salad then indulged with a glass of Rootbeer Float. The steak was thin and a bit tough. Overall the meal was okay. We also bought some slices of ribeye steak to take home.

Lots of parking and resto is usually crowded. Go there on non peak hours. Loved the porkchops an banana split! Wish the servings were presented better especially the rice. Ceasar salad had crunchy vegs. Toilets are huge!! I love it .

The beef belly was great as always. We always order that in both their Clark and Subic branches. The pork chop was tough, but it tasted good. The restaurant is usually crowded with big families, so expect it to be noisy.

The New York steak I ordered was not very tasty. I'm disappointed. The BBQ beef short ribs were good, but very salty. The burgers and pasta were average. I can only say that after seeing such a high rating, I thought it was really good. Maybe the overall food was average for me. Everyone may have different tastes and feelings, so I provide it for your reference.

This is my family’s go-to place to eat in SBMA. It’s been around for 30 or so years so the vibes feel very OG, if you know what I mean. My go-to order is their beef belly. So tender and I love the sauce. Their ribs are tasty. I love their sets that come with a side of soup and veggies. Their apple pie is great, of course. Their pizza is actually not that bad, as well. We enjoyed it very much. Their pastas are so-and-so. Overall, we love it. It’s a great place for family to come together and eat. They are wheelchair accessible. We often sit outside now because we have dogs with us. Service is quick and efficient and the staff are nice.

We were seated immediately upon arrival since we got there just as they opened. The staff were all attentive and our orders were taken and served fairly quickly. The food was good, but the serving size was a bit lacking. Nonetheless, it's still a 5/5 for me and I would definitely recommend this if you're looking for a lunch spot in your travel from Manila to Zambales. There's a restroom beside the restaurant, which is convenient for travelers, as well as a parking pass so that you wouldn't have to pay for parking anymore after dining there.

Good customer service. Servers were attentive and accommodating. We ordered pochero (altho it looks and tastes like beef nilaga than the pochecro we know). It tastes good though. We were 8 in our table and the soup was not enough for all of us. We asked if they could add more soup and they willingly agreed. We like their pinakbet more than laing. Thai chicken BBQ wasls also good. Lechon kawali was not as crispy. Wo ordered pork sisig but not available. Fried spring rolls were too oily.

Cocolime Resto can be just in front of the Harbour Point Mall alongside the main road. The place welcomes a constant stream of diners both from lunch and dinner times. This is no surprise as the place a good variety of Filipino classics mixed with influences from other cuisines. Still, the focus of their offerings would be Filipino classics with a slight twist. The food tastes great and how they should be. Special appreciation with their atchara which was superb and pairs well with almost anything. The servings are also generous and would be a good choice for bigger groups. There are plenty of seats both inside the restaurant as well as al fresco dining. Would I go back here when visiting Subic again? Yes, I would!

The food was above average though a bit on the saltier side. I especially loved the pinakbet and the green mango shake. The restaurant is anvery typical filipino restaurant. The staff were friendly but the service is too slow, i must say. We waited about 10-15 mins for the bill.

In spite of the name... this is not an Asian fusion but rather a local Filipino restaurant serving local dishes. So do manage your expectation. Chicken Chicken Winner Dinner... the Thai Chicken BBQ is juicy, sweet, mouth watering delicious and a must try. Pork Binagoongan is fatty and oily but tender and flavorful. It will pair well with a cup or 2 of plain rice to soak up all the flavors. Dining area is more suited for large groups. Al fresco seating available. Located near the mall, parking is quite easy. Price points compared to portioning is really good thats why you always see large groups dining here. Good food with good prices. Stick to local food and you won't be disappointed. Service Staff is quite friendly but a bit understaffed during a rush. Am guessing this is a popular spot for a meal given the number of tourist and the places is packed full.

Tried their Maki and fried breaded shrimp: both were really good! The Maki was fresh and flavorful, and the shrimp was perfectly crispy without being too greasy. The place has a nice vibe, and the staff was friendly.

I always go for the set—it’s super sulit! For the salads, the lomi lomi salmon is one of my favorites. The ambiance is great and really peaceful. We love dining here!

Food is generously served. Complementary tea with options for hot or cold is served together with sweet and sour lapu-kapu fish head while waiting for the order. We had ramen, tonkatsu, maki, and tempura but for 3 people, it was too much we had to take out our left overs. Crew are very attentive and polite. Service was lovely and felt personalized. Crew smile a lot which makes the experience even more enjoyable. There is a lot of food selection in the menu with all the usual images for reference. Pricing is reasonable and place is very pleasant. Atmosphere feels refreshed and neat. Table is clean and doesn’t feel greasy.

Whenever I hear a Japanese restaurant’s name, ramen is the first thing that comes to mind because of its uniqueness. A few years ago, every dish in this restaurant was outstanding—the umami flavor was rich and distinctive, making you feel as if you were in Japan. The taste alone made the price irrelevant. But now, the ramen has lost its flavor. The tonkotsu ramen no longer lives up to its name—you can barely taste the broth’s signature richness. The same goes for the other varieties. I used to bring my Japanese clients here after business meetings, confident in the quality. Sadly, I can no longer recommend the ramen.

The food was surprisingly not bad. We ordered quite a few dishes and most of them are not bad at all. Didn't enjoy the fried sushi rolls much, but aside from that, the rest of the food were okay. I don't mind coming back here next time.

I was hoping that the deli counter would be a little bigger. It was very limited. But I bought lunch while I was here. The menu made it look like the food could be well made here. The prices are premium so I thought even a simple cheese burger should be good.. The results were OK but really not worth the money.. Greesy fries.. Very doughy bun so when chewing all I could taste was the bread. As soon as you picked it up the pattie slid out. The burger pattie was good.. Onions were perfect. The dressing was a cheap thousand Island dressing. But the strangest thing was the cheese.. They had cut thin strips of it and just placed it around the edge of the burger. Nothing in the middle. It left me feeling that if they are trying to deceive me about cheese then what else are they hiding. I doubt I will be back for this reason alone

My first visit in three years after the covid lockdowns were lifted. This restaurant is still in the middle of a makeover. The second floor is yet to be finished. But the owners have a wonderful vision of an upscale restaurant, deli, bake shop, and wine store. I ordered Pasta Bolognese, and French Onion Soup. The pasta was fine; but the soup was too salty. I certainly hope the improvements in the restaurant don't miss the kitchen side as well. The staff in the front of house were courteous and eager to be of service. The menu prices are on the high side; so not much hoi polloi clientele. edit: The restaurant has new owners; and the renovations have been done. I am also happy to note that I found their onion soup so much better now. 4 stars from me this time.

For the expensive meal definitely not worth the price. We ordered medium steak we got well done, onion soup w/ cheese nowhere to be found, the only highlight of the meal is the side dish zucchini, everything else will not order again for sure. It’s disappointing.

Very good Japanese food, we had their donburi, tempura, ramen, maki and sashimi. Everything was good! Big up to their tuna, reasonable pricing but tasted premium. The place was well air-conditioned! Suitable if you have small children with you.

Went here for dinner with the wife and there were only two tables including us. The host and waiter are both helpful and nice and answered all our inquiry. Food is not good though. Maybe we expected too much because of the reviews. Our total bill was around ₱1600. My wife also ordered miso soup but the she said it was so-so. Tamago nigiri looks dull in color and bland. Kani nigiri is just imitation crab stick. Beef yakiniku tastes like regular stir fry beef my mom cooks. Tonkatsu ramen uses egg noodles. The ramen eggs doesn’t taste anything like the ajitsuke tamago. Soup is ok nothing to mention about. The pork is tender and a bit sweet though. Futomaki also nothing special. Taste like kimbap on korean stores. Karaage tastes and looks like chicken proven or your normal chicken tenders which you can eat on normal restaurants.

Love the experience of having your own Teppan Chef cook delicious dishes right infront of you and also entertain you as the chef show you juggling tricks, flambé techniques as he skillfully prepare your meal. The experience is worth enjoying with good friends... Can't wait to be back and experince it again and taste the other food items on their menu.

I am still amazed they served my to go California maki in three minutes! :-) I was in a rush too....so thats two thumbs up for me! I also loved the red toppings on my maki. It have an extra flavor to it.

Slabs was not as good this time as I remember it being about a year ago. We did not order an appetizer this time. My wife had the Cream of Mushroom soup and I had the Clam Chowder. The Cream of Mushroom was very good and the Clam Chowder was average. I don't like a heavy clam taste and Slabs always had a heavy clam taste. For our main dish we ordered the Baby Back Ribs and split the order. The ribs were ok but not anything special. The sauce was a little too "smoked" for us, but others may like that taste. We found the ribs on the dry side and not "juicy and succulent". The mixed vegetable were very good. We both had the Ripe Mango Shake and it was good. The best part of this dining experience was the cook. He personally brought out the food and was very friendly and courteous. Overall, it was an "ok" dining experience. The pricing was reasonable. The add a 5% gratuity to the check which want near enough. The staff deserves more. Perhaps they just know that any decent diner will leave more.

My first time to dine here. My cousin and I were planning to try this place last Feb. 14; but it was so crowded from folks celebrating Valentine's. They highlight that their steaks are dry-aged; but they don't indicate where they source them. I don't think they served USDA Prime grade, though. I chose a 350 gram ribeye. I requested medium rare; but I received my steak on the medium well side (see photo). However, I was surprised that it was perfectly seasoned; I saw no need to apply any of the two accompanying sauces to enjoy the steak. Special mention for their clam chowder. It was as good, if not better, as any I've had in Manila. Staff was courteous, and accomodating. Prices were relatively reasonable.

Went here on a whim expecting good food but sadly got disappointed. It was an expensive and disappointing dining experience. Personally ordered grilled salmon. I loved the sauce, but unfortunately, the skin was burnt ruining the taste of the dish. Another friend ordered the ribeye, and I had a taste. It wasn't tender, slightly chewy, and over seasoned. It was quite salty, which was disapponting. Wait time for the food was extremely long as well, over 30m. They brought us free soup for the wait, at least. Food wasn't served at the same time as well. One friend got their food first and by the time the rest of the food arrived it got cold. Tables are quite small, and the 4 of us felt cramped while eating at the same table. The only good thing about this place is that the staff was nice and accommodating with alright atmosphere if you ate outside since there was some live entertainment with someone singing. You can get better food for cheaper elsewhere.

Soup was very good. The wings need to be taken off the menu. Truly bad. Fries are good. The steak is mid. The steak pizza was really good. The pizza should be their focus. The best part was the live music. A young man and his guitar. The best part of the evening.

Mouth watering rib eye steak with any side dish that suits your mood and a free soup of the day that is so appealing to your palate that can only be eaten in Slabs Steakhouse in Subic City! The fish and chips was crunchy outside and creamy and soft in the inside with tartar sauce partnered with your side dish of choice. Refreshing kalamansi juice and lemonade (its freshly squeezed not powdered juice)

I was so excited for a new steakhouse in the area. The photos and ads looked good. I saw both positive and negative reviews so we decided to give it a try. We were 3 for a late lunch around 1:30 on a Thursday and we ordered the dry aged ribeye, the grilled chicken and the Seafood marinara pasta. Cost for this was 1315peso so it should be very good! First the positives: I like the design of the place and the décor. The Cream of Vegetable soup was good! Served at the correct temperature. The negatives: The chicken appeared to be precooked and re-warmed on the grill.. overcooked and dry. The steak was very thin 200grams for over 750 peso, I ordered medium rare and it came out rare even cold in the middle. The mashed potato was ok, but the gravy was not hot, barely warm. The veggies were under-cooked. The pasta was warm and sauce ok, but lacking the seafood for over 300pesos. Café France on the NLEX has a better one for 1/2 the price. So sad to say, we will not return. The price vs quality is way off. Texas Joes and Meat Plus are both better options in this area.

One of our favorite places since 2007! The magnificent lagoon view never fails to make the place seem magical. Food is good as always, but it’s really interesting how they always have no electricity when we dine here (so shakes are out of the option)

Had a working lunch in one of their cabanas. The breeze and the ambience were so relaxing. Food was good and very satisfying. I like how the cabanas provided the privacy I needed to do my work.

Good Southeast Asian food for its price! We ordered Hangover 1 (their bestseller), Pad Thai with Chicken, Thai Bagoong Rice with Pork and shared a glass of Thai Milk Tea. All the dishes that we ate have the right level of umami, not too salty. The place was also clean and the staff are friendly and attentive.

We've been frequenting buddha's bowl since they were located at harbor point mall. They're always a great option if you're craving for some southeast asian food or looking for a different but delicous taste. We've always loved their hangover meals. Both the pork and chicken. This last time we ordered hangover 2, thai bagoong pork rice and pad thai. Still as good as ever. Their latest location just across harbor point is also better for people with vehicles with it's adequate parking space. Here's hoping that this establishment will last for more generations.

Pad Thai and the Hangovers are still fantastic! The portions changed a bit (Hangovers seem to have a larger serving now than before) but are still very flavorsome. The service was quick and the staff was accommodating. It was our first time visiting their new location outside Harbor Point. Their new place is still small but cozy, and definitely a few more seats than their old location.

Everything was really good, Pad Prik King Moo is my go to every time, the Bakwan was a first time try and I loved it.

Last sunday father's day we decided to eat thai food, since we are the first customer we expect good quality of food but unfortunately served us not fully cook chicken still RAW🤢🤮🤮. Even my 5 years old daughter asking why all the dishes we ordeR only one taste all same, SWEET lang.NOT EVEN TASTE THAI FOOD, We even saw inside the resto a cockroach roaming around 😒😒 and maramimg mosquito thats why you will see a mosquito repellent light inside . STAFF, i dont know whats in their mind we are total 4, 2 adult 2 kids but they gave us only 2 plates 🤔🤔 then i ask for extra plate the staff gave us another 1 plate🙄🙄 are they blind or what we are 4 😤😤😤Outside also dirty. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTING.

Ordered Hangover which is fried five spiced pork with rice. Chili rice was cold seems like it was already precooked but not stored in a warmer. Serving size was as good as its price, taste is good but outstanding. Place was small yet cozy and clean. I may try some other food next time.

I've been going here for years and a trip to Subic doesn't feel complete without eating here. The prices here are decent and the food served has been consistently good. Staff are friendly and nice. However, another thing that has stayed consistent is the environment, it's really just bland and has always been.

I’m from out of town and treated my friends for lunch. I paid around P3600 for a group of 8. We order the unli pork and beef. The decor needs sprucing coz I think it totally outdated. The dishes are good but the seeping sauce seems dry. The meat they serve I’m sure are not fresh! I smelled them all and it has certain smell and taste. My friends are enjoying it so I didn’t tell them but I didn’t eat that much. I have tried it in Korea and Vancouver and their meat will definitely benefit if they seasoned them or maybe keep it fresh! I thought it’s one of the best that’s why I chose it. I’m glad that Im not local coz I twill totally skip this place :(

We had the unlimited beef and pork. Pork belly cuts were rather thick while the beef was thin, both perfect for grilling (frying). Meats were continuously being cooked as we ate and only stopped when we told them. Banchan was fine, not particularly great and their kimchi may be a bit hot but it was rather bland on spices (gochugaru, garlic etc). Only order their unli-fares if hungry to get your money's worth. Great service also. Best to sit outside, no proper exhaust for the smoke inside the restaurant.

This cafe has a lot going for it! I love the mismatched furniture and overall interior design – it creates a really fun and welcoming atmosphere. The coffee and food are consistently delicious, and it's a great spot for larger groups and families with kids. However, there are a couple of things that consistently bother me. Every single time I've visited (and I've been multiple times), they're out of the smallest cup size. It feels like a deliberate tactic to upsell to the medium size, which is frustrating. Even more concerning, during our dinner visit, we were told they don't offer complimentary water – a policy apparently dictated by the owner. It feels like they're prioritizing profit over customer experience. It's a shame, because the food and ambiance are great, but these issues definitely detract from the overall experience.

I recently had the chance to visit Holy Grounds Cafe, and it was definitely worth the walk from James L. Gordon just to check it out! I wanted to familiarize myself with the area, and this cafe turned out to be the perfect spot. The interior is super cozy, and the couch I sat on made me feel right at home. It was the ideal atmosphere to study, so I decided to order their cafe mocha after reading about it in another review. I asked if they could make some art on it, and they happily did! It was a small touch, but it made my day. Normally, I go for an Americano, but I was in the mood for something different, and the mocha didn’t disappoint. The taste was on point—I really enjoyed it. For food, I ordered their tapa silog, as they were serving breakfast at the time. The meat was tender, the rice had great flavor, and I especially appreciated that they didn’t skip on the veggies! The whole meal was comforting and satisfying. The staff were friendly and accommodating, which always makes a visit even better. The only downside was that I forgot my charger adapter, and since their sockets didn’t match my phone charger, I had to keep an eye on my dying battery. That’s on me though! Overall, I had a fantastic experience at Holy Grounds Cafe and will definitely return—next time, hopefully with a fully charged phone!

It is the most romantic coffee shop in SBMA. Taste of all kinds in here is beyond my expectations. I am happy to have a great time to relax and refresh myself.

Plenty of parking for starters. The coffee shop has a large dining area with natural lights all around from the large windows. Comfortable enough to grab a coffee or two and take a break from the hot weather. The Holy Grounds seems to come from the Christian perspective where God is present in the site rather than assuming the name refers to the grounds from the coffee. Bible verses and quotes are all over the place. Quite a pleasant and quiet place to chill. Having said that.. I did experience a bit of what people were saying about the staff. They seem to be a bit off even during a morning with almost no customers. Engagement is oblivious. Questions about the product cannot be answered straight. So you just order what you can to get it over with. The standard Black Coffee is served hot. Its light with a mild taste. Nothing spectacular but it gets the job done for the moment. It was a quick visit and I do intend to give it a second visit and check out the night scene.

They had a unique take to their white chocolate mocha, the first one I've seen to be dark-colored. My girlfriend and I had also ordered their 4 cheese pizza which was worth our money. The service however, forgot one of my friend's orders. The place is cozy and relaxing.

Had Spanish Latté; great taste. Interior temp. was on a higher temp than expected; not sure if it was because it was super hot outside which affected the interior as well. They've got a good selection of cakes and pastries. Carrot cake was moist and tasted good. Toilet was clean 👌🏻

With its soft lighting, comfortable seating and soothing background music, it's the epitome of a quiet, calm retreat. One thing to note is that this cafe seems to have a magnetic pull on the local community especially in the evenings. After enjoying your coffee, a leisurely stroll along the seafront is a perfect way to complete your visit.

The food and service was excellent! This is the second time we went to Gourmet Garage to host a birthday party for the family and the service was amazing as usual. Special thank you to Ms Kariza Fabian for helping us with our events and and everything went well as planned.. The staff were very kind, accomodating and very quick with our requests, and the food was delicous and comforting. All our guests enjoyed and busog na busog sila! Will 100% recommend as always!

It way a great experience. The food was exceptional. The beef salpicao was VERY tender. It was a complete meal. It came with a fruit bowl which is super extra (see photo). The raclette was heavenly. Nice place with decent ambience. Attentive service. An interesting menu. Against my better judgement opted for Fish and Chips attractively named as Borough Fish and Chips. In my momentary lapse of judgement I imagined Gordon Ramsey‘s Version, especially given that the price was 750php. What came out was 100gr maybe 120gr at best, of the finest skin on Snapper, breaded… yes breaded… served on a bed of mushy peas (which tasted great, just not like mushy peas) more like a pea soup. On the side parmesan coated potato chips (very soft and soggy). It came with malt vinegar and Tatar sauce. The Tatar sauce was made with Sage? All in all I can see the effort being made to justify the price. However the main objective has been missed by a mile. It’s a shame really as the fish was has potential. We also had a short plate sandwich which we better not talk about…

Has been our go to place when in subic. In the old format as well as new. Guess been going there for last 8-10 yrs. food is wonderful, desserts are awesome and then the deli has some good collection too

First time to try this place out and we had high hopes at first, but the prices aren’t that reasonable… there were a lot of flies and they only gave us a small candle that did not really help at all. The food were a 2/5. Some were so dry. But we enjoyed the putobongbong. Overall, had an OK experience but sadly will not recommend.

I ordered the spicy scallops pasta and boy I was in for a surprise. It has the consistency of throw up and I could not barely get myself to eat it. I feel like I was eating cat food the whole time. My coffee was too bitter that I used up 3 packets of brown sugar and 3 packets of cream and still could not take more than 5 sips. My son got the breakfast beef tapa, which is fine. Not stellar. It looks fancy, the decor, the music and the food presentation. But when you eat it, it's such a let down. There's flies trying to get to the food too, so we spent time trying to shoo them away while we eat. I am sorry but I am never coming back here. Waste of time because it was out of the way, except for Royal grocery store, there's nothing around here. And waste of money.

The restaurant is in a nondescript building, and sandwiched between Adidas Outlet and Starbucks, which makes it easy to miss. But miss this place you should not, because the food is good! We ordered a salad to share and our party of 4 ordered these: - Club Sandwich. Excellent. - Ham & Cheese Panini. Good, but the ham was really saltish. - Baked Pesto Penned. Excellent. - Hamburger. Pretty good, except the sauce from the burger will drip on to your hands. In short, EAT HERE! 👍

Our experience here have been very pleasant. Out of nine, seven opted for Crabs OR Prawns buffet either in Chili Garlic, Garlic Butter or Steamed. The food kept coming, please tell them early if you plan to eat more as it takes time to prepare. Of course for picky Chinese Asians, nothing taste as good as the way we prepare it but putting that aside, this place is worth a try.

My family enjoyed their Seafood Platter, which is reasonably priced. We also tried their Drunken Crawfish as per suggestion from reviews that we've read, actually this dish is off the menu. Both of these dishes are a must try. Been here a couple of times, and I've found it quite peaceful as it is not frequented by most people, maybe due to its newness.

This restraunt was pretty good. It probably won't become a 'regular' for my dining pleasure, but I wouldn't avoid it either. It is comfortable and the food is not bad. I need to try more things on the menu before commenting to much on the flavor or quality of good. But I don't think you would'go wrong' in giving it a try.

The place is nice and clean. Coffee is okay. We didn't like the chocolate cake. The slice of Mango and Almond cake might be small but the taste is good; worthy of its price (90php as I remember).

Ordered a sweet meaty pasta, pesto, garlic and cheese pizza, and a green apple granita. portions were okay but too less for the price. Sweet meaty was pretty average, sauce is kinda like a blander version of normal spaghetti sauce, pesto was a lot better, both came with bread and it was decent. Pizza was pretty bad, doughy and there are a ton of better pizza's you can get for the price. The green apple granita was pretty good, just a tad bit expensive. Atmosphere is pretty chill and clean, chill music. My mother asked for water and it didn't come out for the whole time we dined, she asked 3 times and it finally came out immediately after the 3rd time she asked. Overall it was a decent experience, funny moment happened as well with the waitress taking a selfie and I saw, she just laughed it off when I noticed. If the food was half the price I'd definitely recommend this way more since the food was decent.

The Liberty Bar is a decent bar to check out while in Subic. The Long Island Iced Tea was good and strong. The chicken & fries basket wasn't good. The chicken tasted as if the grease needed to be replaced. The staff is pretty attentive doing their best to accommodate all of the customer. Music was decent to vibe to. Overall not a bad place to come and get finger food and drinks.

Brilliant for the sports we attended last day of the UK soccer league to find all games on a number of screens, air conditioned or multiple ceiling fans options. We went for a roast dinner and Curry's very reasonable and great food.. we also went for a breakfast the next morning and we were not disappointed.

Gerry’s Grill never fails to serve good Filipino food! Apart from the food, this branch has good service (special thanks to Noel and Jaynor), good ambience and a nice view of the beach. Definitely recommend going here than the one in the mall!

Vincent, our server, was very attentive, friendly, and accommodating. This is the first time that we dine here at Waterfront branch. It's really a very nice experience. Food is very delish as what is expected from Gerrys. What made this experience especial is how the service was provided especially by Kuya Noel and Ms. Camille. All our requests were granted and made our son's birthday very special. Better than P.F. Chang’s… one of my favorite restaurants in Subic Bay… the staff are very attentive and food is good… the spinning table is cool and practical.

One of our favorite Chinese restaurants here in Olongapo, serves a generous amount of food. Our favorite dish is the Pork Spareribs Salt and Pepper, it’s so tender and juicy. The place is great for family bonding and special occasions. They provide a good number of waiters and waitresses to serve your needs.

Hair in food! I used to love dining here. I had this establishment marked 5 out of 5, all across the board. Great atmosphere. Beautiful restaurant. Friendly and professional staff. Prices are fair. The food is pretty good as well. And there is some parking space available in front of the building. Today I had to remove stars for a couple of reasons: at one occasion the waitress made a mistake in my order and later argued that she was right so I must have been lying. In the end they fixed it so I continued coming back here, but most recently my food had a very long hair in it which I had to pull out of my mouth with the food cooked around it.

We had dinner here and had a fantastic time trying out their dishes since it was our first time going. The restaurant has an impressive selection of dishes on its menu. The dishes were all great, perfectly seasoned, and cooked. I particularly liked their Steamed Lapu-Lapu with beancurd and Taosi and their crab and corn soup. Dishes can be ordered in several sizes to suit your dining group. We all ordered their medium-sized dishes except for the assorted vegetables with garlic. Though all savory and went well with their Yangchow rice, they are on the expensive side. I guess it was a given when the first thing you see upon entering the restaurant is the numerous elegant-looking chandeliers. The staff was accommodating though I wish our food came out in one trip. They brought out dishes one by one, making the first few dishes served already cold before our main protein dish arrived. Still, a great Chinese cuisine dining experience. Definitely a treat.

I forgot to take photos of the food lol but almost all of them are great! My fave is sweet and sour fish, beef broccoli was too salty for my liking. Duck dishes were great, too! The best part is you dine with this view.

Overall, a great food experience. I enjoyed the chicken with broccoli, although the broccoli was crunchy, not cooked enough. Taste was good though. We also had the pepper fried pork, which was worth coming back for. We saw large fish tanks with fresh fish in them so that's an option. There's also a full bar, but we didn't order from it. Service was quite good, with at least four waiters tending to us, and all overseen by the duty manager. There's good parking available just outside the front door. I look forward to our next visit.

Been here twice. Sands Resto Grill is a great place for dinner dates. We ordered Chicken Shish Kebab which was nice. Seafood soup was also good. Their Mango Cheesecake is for the win, however, it wasn't available the last time we were there. Excited to be back to try their other food.

I highly recommend this place for couples who want to have a romantic date. Just make sure you save enough money for your date because this resto offers delicious foods but at a high cost. When you visit here seeing foreigners is very normal because the place is really elegant and that is why the price is also for foreigners very expensive. But trying to dine here sometimes is a must I'm sure spending that hard earned money here is all worth it. This place is romantic and quiet. A must try resto when you come here at Subic Bay Freeport Zone.

Food - 10/10 food was good we ordered pork sinigang and lechon kawali. Both are on point. We even got complimentary bread while waiting. The mango juice was perfect! The taste of the food here is great and not to mention the quality were all good compared to other hotel restaurants Service/staff - 11/10 fantastic. Super friendly and attentive! This is the best service we’ve got compared to other hotel restaurants Ambiance/place - 10/10 great. They have indoor and outdoor, depends on your mood where you would like to eat.

Sands restaurant grill is located at the ground floor of Marina Lighthouse Hotel resort in Subic bay. Their Lighthouse ice tea is refreshing. they offer indoor airconditioned dining and alfresco near the pool with the view of the beach. enjoy the outdoors and feel the seabreeze .

A nice restaurant atmosphere but what a gap for the food very disappointing for several dishes, we were 6 and we have to send back two dishes. The fried ribs were over cook and the burger came uncooked frozen inside with grey part. This restaurant deserve a better chief, if you are a sailing lover you will like the place as it is decorated with a lot of racing boat references.

Not a bad place, liked the diner atmosphere. The servers were nice. The food wasn't bad but definitely not the best, and we found the serving a little lacking. Not exactly what's advertised from the menu with the photos they provided, not worth the price in our honest opinion.

Old school US Diner atmosphere. My family and I have been eating here for 30+ years. Their menu includes both American and Filipino food, which has remained mostly the same. My favorite is their Grilled Porkchop and the Double Cheese Burger. It's not really that special, but it's really nostalgic and feels comforting.

My family has been going here for more than 4 decades, this is our favorite restaurant for a quick bite, sometimes we order out as well to eat at home. Aside from the dishes posted below, we usually order Porkchop barbeque meal, chopseuy, chicken egg foo young and their fantastic cheese burger.

Mura at masarap. Open until midnight for those who eat dinner late at night. Sotanghon soup is one of my favorite. But very crowded, people of Olongapo just love to dine here everytime. Very low chance of seeing this place unoccupied.

A place where your heart can catch a breath. If you to stressed or just want to stop and relax. This place is the place to go. Theres a lot of places here in SBMA to do it, but this place will really put a smile on your face. Very Homie, and very polite staff. Coffee is great to!! My husband and I enjoyed our visit here. I tried their matcha strawberry latte. It was the best one I tried! It has the perfect balance of creamy matcha + sweetness from their homemade strawberry puree (made by Ms Nicole! 🍓❤️). Everyone was welcoming and pleasant. 10/10 would be back soon!

Ohemgee. This place is the kind you'd want to gatekeep but we would love for them to stay in business forever so come at least once in your life (and then keep coming because we know you will). Everything we tried was just phenomenal. You'd see, and taste, the intentionality in the way they make everything--from their lively flavor-packed salad (with crunchy enoki mushrooms), their wonderfully balanced and delicate pastries, to their everyday breakfast selection. They season their fries with salt and lemon pepper, giving it extra vibrance. Their baba ganoush was so light it was almost foamy--very smart. Their chili honey is made with carolina reaper. Heck, even their mustard was so wonderfully made with hints of parmesan, it's not your usual mustard at all. I don't think we've raved about dips and sauces this much in a review but this is just a testament to how thoughtful they craft every item they put on your plate. And that's just the food they serve. The beverages are a whole new level of yumminess. Best dirty horchata we've ever had--creamy (not watered down), cinnamony, the espresso shot was a punch. Their Ube Latte, even with no simple sugar, was so creamy and gritty, it tasted like ice cream with ube halaya. We asked the owner (who was so hands on and involved) to sell these by the liter, or even by the jug, so we can bring them home every time 🥹. They were that good. It's unfortunate we only had 1 stomach as we would have tried their entire beverage selection if we could. But don't just take our word for it. They don't get the highest Google ratings for nothing. Do we recommend this place? 1000% YES Are we going back? Can we do it tomorrow? And then the day after? And then the day after that? YES.

The waffles and chicken here are fantastic. The sweet and savory combo might sound odd, but it's delicious. Both the sea salt latte and the black forest drink are great, too. Special thanks to Jem for being so friendly and helpful.

At first, I thought it would be just the same typical cafe, but once I tried their food, that's when it became special, it was really good, especially the Meatballs pasta. Plus, the people were really accommodating and full of smiles. Would definitely go to the shop again!

Yikes. Quite disappointing. Food was either bland or really just did not taste good. Seems like it’s safest to order sandwiches and the like, and it’s not cheap at all. We were 5 and our bill was 3k+ Ordered a mix of starters and some Filipino mains, clubhouse sandwich was most okay out of 6 dishes ordered

Great food. Music too loud. We enjoyed the shrimp scampi, vegetable lumpia, Caesar salad, chicken salad, and seafood pasta. Nicely decorated inside and out. Clean restrooms, wifi available. Sit inside or out. Parking available. Our issue with the music. It was a nice group and they played music perfect for a restaurant. The instruments were at a good sound level, however the female vocalist was turned up way too high. A good singer, volume made my ears hurt. Manager should take charge of this. Don't tell them to be quieter, set a limit on the amplifier. A guest got up and sang, a staffer turned her volume down. Band vocalist comes back, staff turns the volume up. Maybe guests like it that way. What you will get is only guests who like loud music.

I remember food here used to taste great but for some reason it somehow lost what used to make it great. What we ordered: Malunggay Pesto Pasta, 1925 Burger, Adobo Burrito, Corned Beef (Breakfast) Upside: serving sizes, service staff Downside: the place looks tired, food doesn't taste good (except for the corned beef breakfast plate), you would expect more for its price point Do we recommend the place? No. Are we going back? Not sure.

We went here with my in-laws for a pre-dinner beer and appetizer. 4 beers, calamari, a shake and chicken poppers 1430php. We were literally the only table in the place and still had to wait… so the service is not great. The calamari was typical for Phil… not a crunchy batter and very chewy. The chicken poppers were decent. Pretty cool looking place, but overpriced for what you get and the service you receive… I wouldn’t recommend.

glad i trusted my instincts and came here. the mango smoothie was amazing! the 1925 classic burger was also the bombs with good nicely buttered brioche buns, along with the wings and potato croquettes!!! they were my favourites. the pesto pasta was a tad oily and peanut coated chicken was not my cup of tea. but it may be yours! it’s crunchy nonetheless.

We go here for our favorite Schweiger draft beer as well as good food. Relaxed ambiance too inside the freeport..good selection of cocktails too..

We were checked in a stone's throw away from this restaurant. It was literally just across the street. This was one of the nearby restaurants that the concierge highly recommended, too. If you're fond of Korean food and you happen to be in Subic, well, look no further. The food here tastes great. Very ample serving sizes. There is a great selection of spicy dishes, as Korean food should be without. Their prices are quite reasonable as well, which was such a surprise!

If you’re in Subic and you’re a fan of Korean food, never miss out Seoul Korean Restaurant. They serve huge portions of food for a very affordable price! For instance, their beef bibimbap is already good for two people and it only costs more than ₱200. We’re a family of six and we’re not really heavy eaters so we ordered one meal each of us. We ended up bringing home most of our meals. We had spicy beef kalguksu (which spicy level can be requesed to be super mild), steamed eggs, whole fried chicken, kimchi fried rice, beef bibimbap, and side dishes — cucumber and fish cake. All of them are really, really good! For dessert, they have Korean ice cream.

A family of five came and enjoyed the meal so much. I loved the Korean boss and kind staff. The price is also low, so anyone can easily use it.

If you're looking for a korean restaurant with samyup (good meat), I recommend this place. However, it is not unlimited. Aside from the premium beef and pork, we ordered bibimbap, steamed egg and cheesy tteokbokki (you better eat it right away). The serving of their ala carte meals are worth the price. No banchan, more matter how much meat you order lettuce is not included. Good place for groups. Order the meats, soups were just very average.

We come here from time to time, even though it’s about an hour’s drive from home — and it’s always worth it. The best time to visit is around 5 PM, just before sunset. Birds begin to swarm the shoreline at this time too, adding a beautiful and natural touch to the setting. Vasco’s is all about the ambiance. It hasn’t changed over the years — and that’s part of its charm. It’s a unique maritime-themed restaurant that leans heavily into the historical side. They even have a small maritime museum filled with fascinating artifacts from shipwrecks, adding to the feeling that you’re dining somewhere truly special. While waiting for our food, we usually play a round of billiards with a cold beer in hand. It’s a laid-back, welcoming atmosphere where you can truly unwind. Most of the guests we see here tend to be foreign visitors, and it’s easy to see why — the vibe is just different. The food is good, hearty, and satisfying. Prices are on the higher side, but you’re not just paying for the food — you’re paying for the entire experience. If this place were closer to my home, I’d probably be here every week. There’s nothing like bonding with family over good food and drinks in such a beautiful setting. I really hope more restaurants embrace this kind of concept. Until then, I’ll keep coming back to Vasco’s.

We were supposed to have a good family time here since we heard the food was good but the Service is not good and we had a bad experience, the servers weren't able to keep track of our order and waited an hour for our food even if we were the FIRST and ONLY ONES in the restaurant at that time. The food tasted good but the service is really that should be worked on (please add more servers)

Did not stay in the hotel but visited the restaurant multiple times. The restaurant is ocean front with great views. The service is nice and food is good and there are some beers on tap. Overall great place to go for lunch or dinner.

One of Subic Freeport's older restaurants, they serve good food and a nice selection of cocktails. I thought they still had craft beer so was quite dissapointed they didn't have them anymore. Relaxed ambiance and ample parking..

The ambience is nice, best if you want a speakeasy, cosy type of bar. They have live piano music, not sure though if it's every night. We went Saturday night. We were just a bit disappointed with the service and some of the food. The chips that came with our fried chicken wings looked and tasted like it has been left for hours. Not crispy and tough to chew. We were not really hungry so we didn't bother requesting a replacement. Other foods we ordered were okay. The service is a bit disappointing too. The table buzzer doesn't work. We had to follow up requests several times. Not sure if it was a "busy" evening for them, but I've seen way busier bars keeping up with customer orders and requests. It's not a big place too (hence the cosy comment). Overall, it's a good place to drink, eat, and chill with friends or family.

Beef is must try esp. Tadyan/ fillet mignon/ Salpicao.. Hokkaido oyster is also great. Cocktails are amazing. The band show is impressive. Worth a visit in SMBA.

We asked for a red wine n the server showed us a bottle of red from Chile, it looks OK so we ordered a bottle only to be given a different bottle so we ended up ordering San mig light and mixed drinks. We ordered lumpiang shanghai, No longer available! It was not even 9 pm. We tried another appetizer, boneless dilis, Not available as well... No calamares. We ended up drinking n talking. Glad we just had dinner at the Blue rock. So disappointing!

Definitely overrated and not at all as I expected it to be. I was very disappointed after reading what had appeared to be good reviews. I was there with a business client and it was just the two of us in the restaurant initially and yet our meals were served 20 minutes apart...terrible table service and obviously a disorganized kitchen. Food likewise was bland. The place is also worn and doesn't look anywhere near as close to the ambience that the photos lead you to believe. Overall, a very disappointing dining experience.

I always come here for tapas and finger food/ bar food. My go to is always the sisig and the cerviche. Nice ambience with good live music that's not too loud so that I can still have a conversation with friends. Although staff turnover seems to be high but most of them are quite friendly and helpful

Went there twice and love the paella its really good for 2 to 3 person. Seafood on Paella just very fresh just the chicken taste a bit blend. Oyster taste really fresh, highly recommend that. Waiter is quite friendly as well. Overall good services and good food will come again next time.

Asian fusion restaurant. Service was the fastest I've experienced. It felt like the kitchen already knew what we were going to order before we even made the actual order. If there is such a place faster than a fast food restaurant, this is it. If you have plans of having dinner here, come early as last order is at 730pm. After trying their beef tenderloin, we had to order another one as it wasn't gonna stay on the plate long.

Terrible service. The front of house and the waitresses were so snobby right as soon as she saw us approaching to enter. And also forgot some of the stuff we ordered, claiming that we didn’t even order it. They did give us the rest pretty quickly which is a positive. But otherwise, their attitude was crazy and not at all professional or acceptable. Yikes.

An asian restaurant that offers indoor and alfresco outdoor dining located in Subic. ample Parking is available and staff is quick to assist. Food is served immediately after ordering. i think there are more pineapples than the actual rice in their pineapple fried rice, although it was tasty i hope the rice was equally abundant.

Very Nice ambience, Food was all delicious, Sinigang Bangus belly is a must try. I really love the shrimp roll. Servers are superb.. definitely, we will be back here

One of the best local restaurants in Subic Bay in terms of cost, taste, customer service and ambiance. Their menu is the same with their sister restaurant, Cocolime, serving Filipino, and Asian delicacies. They are reasonably priced and the service was fast.

Pros:Great relaxing elegant family-friendly ambiance.The location is is nearby the other good places in SMBA.Very new interior.Strong aircon. Cons:Servings/portions ,presentation,taste of food is not as great as in the original Cocolime infront of harbor point. Suggestion:They should equal if not exceed the original restau.We love Cocolime(my family)and it is the restau we frequent whenever we are in Subic.

The staff are very attentive, we enjoyed the pizza we ordered. They let our dog dine in with us too. They just need to add a few more electric fans. ☺️

It was just okay. Liked the location and the fact that they had enough space for parking. We had the octopus as appetizer, cheese pizza, and the bolognese. Food took some time to arrive. Pasta was good. Was disappointed with the pizza because while I know it was supposed to be thin crust, I didn't expect it to be 'that' thin. Taste was also just okay. The octopus was also very tough. Don't order it!

Located at the rotonda of The Lighthouse Marina Resort, this restaurant boasts of a very calm ambiance of Subic Bay. It is a 2 floor-building with an alfresco dining set up on both the ground and top floors. Upon being seated, menus were given to us which were very clear to read. The only thing I have noticed was that it took us several times to ask for service water, probably the kitchen was busy at the time we visited. For starters, we ordered a Buratta salad. I was so surprised that they had buratta here in Subic, and it did not disappoint! It melts in your mouth once eaten. We also ordered Frutti Di Mare pasta as well as a pan of Prosciutto Rocula. Their pizza is definitely worth the trip! You can really taste the smokiness from how it was cooked in a brick oven. They also have a signature chili honey sauce that pairs well with the pizza. Fortunately, the serving time was quite fast for the food!

Have been to this place many times before, simply because there are so many people raving about this place. The pasta and pizza are mid and there are definitely better places in Metro Manila. If you’re looking for pizza in Subic, sure, but it’s not like the competition is steep. I’m leaving this review for our last horrible experience. We had a reservation for 6pm, and we were told to wait for the food for 25-35 minutes. Fine, the restaurant was jampacked during Holy Week, to be expected. At 6:30PM we followed up on our order, and only then were we told that it was going to be ANOTHER 30-40 minute wait. I understand that it’s Holy Week, but I had a reservation, and they could have turned away customers (including myself) if they knew their kitchen couldn’t handle it. This was pure greed. We ended up eating at Xtremely Xpresso down the road which had significantly more people but our orders came in a timely manner, and service was very good.

Sunsets, pizza, and a glass of wine in Leonardo’s. Great spot for groups and families. The food is great and you can see that it is prepared with utmost care. One of the best kept spots here in SBMA. Late weekday afternoons are still the best time to come here since you get to keep the place for yourself and not too crowded.

If you don't like pizza, try this place and you'll change your mind. Their rustic style pizza is the best we had in recent memory, so we had two. Pasta is al dente and delicious. Chicken is good but not great, inside meat has no taste, common in frozen chicken. Service is fantastic, attentive, quick and verbiage is 5-star hotel level. Upstairs dining is perfect on a clear day. Sea view. Big parking.

This place is disorganized. My fries came after I finished my burger. Had to literally beg for my fries. Food was not hot. And if you are a foreigner prepare for a wait. This is the second time I patronize this restaurant.

The staff were inattentive, and the cashier service was noticeably slow. They appeared unprepared when handling orders, resulting in several mistakes. For instance, we requested extra rice, but it was not served. We also ordered BFF Shake Shake Fries, yet we were only given regular fries with ketchup.

Ordered oreo mc flurry and the amount of the ice cream is not like before. You called it substandard measurement, mean do not sell your ice cream if you don’t have enough to serve. Such a disappointment just like you paying for a small icecream cone and that’s the amount you put. Fries is oily and saggy. Mc donald’s is totally different now than before.

Can get really busy during morning weekends since it’s an ideal quick stopover for people traveling to Zambales

Food was average fast food but the order was wrong and had to be fixed twice. Parking available but difficult to get out, must back up onto a main road.

I go to subic once a week, work-related. McDonald's, across from the petron station is where I usually go to have breakfast.. One of their better outlets, decently quick service, and they've never ran out of anything so no complaints from me. 😊

The staffs here are approachable. When I'm waiting for my food, it took 2-3 minutes before it was served which I am impressed. The managers also are very professional and I saw that they are dedicated to their job. All in all 5 stars for this restaurant.

I used to love and crave for Shakey's carbonara and mojos but this time, i was definitely disappointed . Carbonara pasta has no taste. Mojos are underseasoned. Staffs are friendly however service is sloppy. You are asked to give ratings on Facebook on the spot and they will take a photo of your rating to be sure you did. Toilet has no tissue rolls.

Service was average. Managers were sitting at a table chatting, using cell phones and eating dunkin donuts. Had to wait nearly 15 minutes before anyone acknowledged that we wanted to pay our bill. Food was ok but Shakeys is not the best place to eat especially this one.

Their promo for the Buy 1 take 1 pizza used for a Supercard insists you to do take out. They are not allowing customers to eat the pizza inside. Very bad customer service and experience. They are not in full capacity and yet they produce bad experiences for customers. DO NOT even consider trying to go to this specific Shakeys branch.

Crews are so kind and polite. We enjoyed our dinner here. The place is not too crowded plus they have claw machine for kids to enjoy. They gave us free ice cream since its my little girl's bday month. They also gave her a free stuff toy 🐬

Good pizza, very homey taste. But I dont know if the whole place is a yay or nay for me. The service was a so-so, crew were not attentive enough and not welcoming. Talked to some staff to give our order but got 3 refusal for "not being their area". Only the manager/supervisor deserves 5 star for being accommodating. For the food, nachos was not "macho" as the description in the menu is saying. The carbonara was bland. But pizza was great! Different from other pizzas in Manila. Very homey! But what I appreciated was the live band, and that the place was pact with families celebrating different occasions and milestones. A true hit for Olongapo locals.

You will be remembered, you will be back soon, we know it, I'm very sad that I didn't even go there. But I hope this will be fixed soon after a fire broke down 2 days ago..

I would not trade this pizza with anyone else. Sam's pizza is one of my comfort foods. It's located at Magsaysay Drive, Olongapo City.

The food was good. It was lunch time on a Saturday but not busy. The service was quick. They need to give attention to cleanliness. It shouldn't be hard to sweep the floors or wipe the walls in the CR.

NOT recommended at all. Waste of time and money. We ordered pork chop, pasta, and baked oysters. The baked oysters look spoiled and already have a smell. The waiting time is ridiculous. We waited for almost 2 hours for the food that's not even edible. The atmosphere is almost good but the phone kept ringing for more than 30 mins and the staff is ignoring it intentionally even after we told them. If you wannna have a good time in Subic, avoid this place.

A popular seafood restaurant that offers alfresco dining. they serve a variety of seafood dishes and reasonably priced breakfast meals. staff are friendly and accommodating. healthy protocols are strictly practiced. A must try when in Subic.

Prices are reasonable. It's clean. Food quality and quantity is not bad for the price. Perhaps the girl at the bar can equip herself with proper or hospitality industry decorum and refrain from profanity or using offensive/vulgar language and to watch her tone and voice, being mindful that customers/diners can actually hear her. It's an open restaurant where you have a view of the ocean and its in front of the park. I will come here again as there are only few restaurants in the area with live music and really cold beer.

Food is terrible, calamaries is like rubber and shrimp popcorn doesn't taste like shrimp, inihaw na Tuna Belly is terrible as well. What is unavailable in the menu for the seafood menu is oyster, salmon belly, pusit I order this three and not available... so what a seafood restaurant without seafood. From the taste of the calamaries and the shrimp can taste that it is frozen instead of fresh. NOT RECOMMENDED this place, Food is extremely terrible. Even a lots of fruit juice is unavailable as well, ordered a fresh buko instead. Hopefully they will improve on this... bad food experience.

The customer service was excellent and you can take reservations online but I'm sorry to say that THE FOOD ISN'T GOOD BECAUSE EVERYTHING WAS COLD WHEN IT WAS SERVED. It seems like the food was cooked in the morning. You can really tell it wasn't fresh. I'm sorry to say that we really didn't enjoy our time there and we do not recommend this place.

Waste of money and time. Although we read ahead the negative reviews we still gave this place a chamce but so dissapointed. The portion is so small doesn't match the price. We ordered sinigang na hipon which is very salty and sour. The lechon is overcook and the tunabelly is so chewy Food takes soo long to get served even the extra rice takes 30min. Will never go back here again.

Don't listen to Some of the people complaining about the food taking too long. It's not that bad. If you ever had southern bbq, you learn to be patient cuz it takes awhile. But they Probably have the best tasting buttered fried chicken in that area. Super good and juicy. The sinigang is really tasty. And they cook and serve rice in bamboo. Its awesome. The pancit is on point. Definitely give it a try. No place is perfect but this is definitely a great place to eat.

Coming from Tree Top Adventure, exhausted and hungry, we expected good service and scrumptious food. After we ordered, someone took a picture of us and presented us a hard copy quickly. We patiently waited for an hour, but there was still no sign of our order getting to the table. It was the same for the other tables. Having not eaten breakfast, we followed up our food in hopes of finally getting them. Unfortunately, when we asked the kitchen, our order was not even in yet! So was the table next to ours. Then, another band of guests came in and got their order immediately, since (according to our waiter) they "reserved and ordered in advance". However, being tourists, we did not know this. So if you want to eat a picture, head here. Otherwise, AVOID IT AT ALL COSTS!

Giving this 5 star!!! The food here is much better than nearby resort in the area (shade to Camayan). For a cheap price of 1000, their serving can feed a family of around 5 to 7. The place is not pretentious. Its literally a kawayan kitchen! I enjoyed the boodle fight with my family. The serving and presentation stays true to pinoy/kawayan style.

I read reviews about the food being good, but where? The sisig surprisingly wasn't the kind with mayo and egg so I expected more, assuming it was the "authentic" kind, but it tasted oily, lacked flavor, not crispy but tough bordering hard. The kilawin was more redeeming, the fish tasted fresh and it was seasoned well. My friend got a cosmopolitan and it came in a cracked glass, slowly leaking over our table. The staff eventually changed the glass, but speaking of the staff, it's like they actively try not to see you, even if your hand in up and in their face. They should make the fine print about the 10% service charge bigger on the menu so it doesn't take people by surprise. I don't feel like what we paid was worth what we ate and the experience. The performance was amusing, even entertaining, the songs were classic karaoke go-tos, the performers were trying their best to liven up the crowd. Once is enough visits for me.

The food has gone downhill recently. Last night we had the so called beef nachos. There was no beef only onion and a cheese sauce overload to possibly disguise this. Beer prices have increased and now their prices have an extra VAT added on your bill as before it was included in the menu prices, however the menu prices have not been lowered to accommodate this. Please bear this in mind before visiting. In our case they've lost two customers 😟

Love this place! The live music is amazing and it’s a very spacious area so it never feels crowded. The food and service is great too! I love to bring big groups here.

Terrible food. Try other restos. The only redeeming quality would be the fried rice. Everything else is substandard. We ordered one of its seafood platters—that was mostly potatoes, by the way. It’s obvious they’re all frozen and weren’t heated properly prior to serving. Presentation is crappy. This is definitely a bad experience for us. I wish we’d checked the reviews before coming. We were enticed by the view. Not worth it. Especially not for its price. Even the chicken is super dry.

Kadiri restaurant, they didn’t clean the seafood at all. Not appetizing, even you can sea the dirt in the scallop, waste of money not recommended this restaurant. I will not comeback anymore!!! I was excited to eat crab but this restaurant didn’t satisfied my cravings, please don’t come here if you don’t want to be disappointed like me

The taste is average nothing much of a wow experience considering the price is a bit on the high end. I guess the location cost is a major factor? The crab has good amount of roe but you can tell that it is not fresh. The Cajun sauce too is not that I expected. Overall the place is clean.

It was terrible. I have never had such a bad hot pot before. The meat was not fresh. The only good thing was the boiled egg.

May 29, 2025 Walked out before ordering. The hotpot condiment bar was a disgusting display of sauces and chopped vegetables. They had sat out since the day before. It's a seafood restaurant but we were told that squid was unavailable and that only one fish was available. No paper in the washroom. Disgustingly unprepared. Avoid at all costs.

Its the most terrible restaurant i've ever try.Its not chinese style neither korean style. the souce makes me so confused.Pork have weird smell.My friends cannot eat anything except the egg and shrimp.

We experienced the worst service! And because of the poor service, we weren’t able to enjoy the food (they are short-staffed, staff aren’t sure of what’s allowed and what’s not ; they do not attend to the customers as well), and it affected our mood as well (negatively). It’s obvious that they won’t provide fast service.

Noodles good, pork slices fine though not the best, msg based soup not authentic sorry. Price higher than average in the area.

This pirate themed restaurant lies next to the water in Subic Bay. American inspired menu with grilled meat and fish and of course hamburger and milkshakes. It all tastes good and the portions are enormous. Two appetizers are more than enough food. Very delicious pizza too. Live music on Saturday nights.

Recently discovered the "Beach" area. Daytime it does not seem like much, but there is a lovely sunset view. Menu items are overpriced and limited. I would return for the view. Wifi available, parking on the street.

A must visit place while in SBMA. It is located beside a park and shoreline.. The price is alright because their servings are huge. They have a ship like motif and friendly staffs. They also have a parking space in front. Nice place to chill out.

The menu and food is nothing special. The staff and service are great. Live music nights make it extraordinary for such a small bar restaurant.

Masarap at malasa ang mga pagkain. Kung mahilig ka sa karne eto ang lugar para sa iyo. You can find assorted meats and fish here. They offer different kinds of drinks and desserts. Price is not that cheap but its all worth it. Foods are serve on hot iron plates so it keeps your food hot much longer. They havr their own restroom and hand wash area. You can see through their kitchen so you can check if your food is properly prepared.

Mall is fantastic! Pepper Lunch though is disappointing, service was excellent except for the cooks who forgot to put pepper on our pepper steak, as well as Parmesan cheese for our daughters beef aglio olio pasta and then mocked the waiter as he asked to put pepper on our meals. Staff also said they don’t put cheese on this dish, unlike in Manila, as well as no sauce.

Food is reasonably priced, except the fries, it's highway robbery, it should be worth 25php at best, way too expensive for what you get. There are better places to spend your money on that's cheaper and tastier.

Has a good sizzling plate and the seasoning you can has a huge amount of variety. Overall adjust the flavor depending on your tastes.

Good place if you want to grab fast eats at varied choices. I had Spag,Pizza, Veggie Salad and Chicken. My friends enjoyed the meat selections. And the Ice cream choices is yum.

Serves a variety of dishes at a very reasonable price of P299/head. It's dimsum are so-so but it's korean dishes are above average. Also offers grilled meat which are also great. All in all, very satisfactory in terms of food. With a better ambiance, it can get 5 stars.

All You Can Eat Korean Food. Staff was very nice and helpful. Went there with 7+ group and we all had leftovers, meaning the food wasn't the greatest. As we got ready to go, we noticed a leftover food charge sign. P150 per plate. However, they did not charge us the fee. Maybe it only applies at peek hours? Or maybe they realized the food they had out wasn't all that good. Cannot comment on the Entrees since I didn't order any. I suspect they are way better than the buffet. Maybe next time I'll try one of them and upgrade my rating.

The buffet was worth exactly the amount you paid for. The free Korean ice cream was the highlight of dessert - the other two selections were "m-eh" at best. I wish I could like Holly's better but not after the length of time it took for drinks to be served, Overall the place and facilities were ok though the bathroom needed more TLC. Place was full.

I just had dinner here so my review is for dinner, I do not know what food they offer during lunch... Sushi tastes bland, which is my favorite food tbh, the rest of the food is good overall, they offered mostly filipino cuisine for dinner when I arrived. My favorite food they offered is the salad.

Their buffet gives a variety of korean food and some western foods/aaian foods which is "swak" in your budget...even the price is so low that makes you go back there every aingle day... most recommended is their kimchi!

Place is excellent for first timers. But when eating for several times, the buffet served are almost the same... Eventually, food tastes great and crews are hospitable.

Great food. Buffet-style for the sides and desserts (fruit salad, watermelon). They were also serving iced tea. You can also get beer and soju, bagay na bagay sa samgyup. Atmosphere is also nice. High ceiling, well-lit place, and relaxing music. Restroom is clean. One of the servers was kind of rude when we asked for the receipt. Food was really good though.

Honestly not worth it. The food was just okay for the price, but the service was terrible. The staff brought out meat painfully slow, and we had to keep asking for things that should’ve already been on the table. Payment was also a mess — took way too long and felt disorganized. Some of the workers seemed confused and untrained, and it felt like no one was really managing the place. A lot of basic items weren’t even restocked. Wouldn’t recommend. There are way better Korean spots around that actually care about service.

I am editing my review since the restaurant changed its format lately into an unlimited buffet style. MG used to be excellent! This was my family's favorite Korean restaurant. The prices were a little bit pricier than the surrounding places but all worth it because they are delicious authentic Korean dishes with generous servings. We usually order the samgeopsal, grilled beef, ossam bulgogi, doenjang jjigae, the tofu dish, the noodle dish with icy broth, jjapchae and other marinated meats for grilling. Grilled entrees always came with refillable side dishes which were all fantastic especially their kimchi (best one I've tasted on the whole city). Their meal sets were incredible as well. The other patrons we encounter whenever we ate here were usually Koreans, which means it's as authentic as it gets when Korean natives prefer eating here than other places. Now, they offer unlimited pork or beef with a few side dishes from tteokbokki, what looks like miki-bihon pancit, and a few unappetizing watery mix of vegetables. With the exhaust ducts gone and a new table of utility dishes on one side, it is not as welcoming as it used to. Can't help but think that us frequent patrons were abandoned and is now catering to people who prefer unlimited fare. We looked elsewhere as soon as we saw how MG changed. It was excellent while it lasted.

This is same as the Korean food grill on the map! One order of samgyupsal is 330.plenty of side dishes and even comes with very hearty soup. Asked for more of the spinach side dish the 3rd time and was told they've run out (a but annoying as I know they're capping off extra orders on side dish). But overall a good Korean grill place. No coke light, if that matters.

my boss invited me join them to try the grill BBQhere in MG Korean Food Grill and Family Resto. Me as Filipino and my boss are taiwanese, went home our stomach very full. the spicy shrimp hmmpp very good taste, and the kimchi i love it,,, as well as the beef... our waitress are good for me.. remember if you want rice you need to tell them if you want white rice before order it, because their rice are korean

Horrible service. Food was mediocre. Barely worth the price. The rice was the worst rice I've ever tasted at a Korean restaurant. I could not recommend this any less. (Btw the coffee, and the iced tea are all instant mixes. Both are at least 50 Pesos. Not worth it.) (The rice is also 50.)

We went to dine around 7PM. Staff Service was good, but it was hot inside, they only turned on the AC when we came in. Food was disappointing, we ordered onion rings, chicken wings (garlic parmesan), and pork chop steak. The onion rings were okay, but the dip mostly tasted like plain mayo. Pork chop steak was on the tough side, and difficult to chew, silver lining is that the sauce and vegetables tasted great, it made the meal atleast edible. The chicken wings were the worst. It looked nice upon serving, but upon digging into the chicken, the inside smelled bad. I honestly gagged with the smell but I still tried to eat it and gave it a chance. We did provide some feedback before leaving. Overall, we are definitely not eating there again.

One of our go to restos inside the Freeport . We always stay outside where it's nice to people watch. Met the owner once too . Nice lady. Food and alcohol selection is okay.. attentive staff.

We enjoyed their spa. Very affordable. If you're planning of using the sauna, it won't be open till 4 pm. The jacuzzi was good too. Clean place, staff don't hover around, they kept their distance and let you enjoy the wet floor. Nice shower, complete with shampoos, and body soap. Massage was great!

I was really hoping for big glasses of draft beer but despite the Five taps, none were working. Nice staff and a nice place to watch the world go by from the deck. Even had a tasteful Russian lady quietly nursing a glass of wine awaiting Mr. Right Price. A good place for a party.

Just the right balance of fun and chill. The servers are efficient, and they take good care of the customers. ProTip: if you want to chat to them, don't have your phone out. If they see a phone, they assume you're busy and don't want to be disturbed. The food is good, but don't expect it to be like home. This is a place that has changed many of their dishes with some Japanese influence (the Japanese food is surprisingly good). That said, the evening snacks (nachos, chicken fingers, pizza, sausage) are perfect! Just what you want after a few beer (and likely a shot or two). Worth the visit!

Place where expat and locals meet . Terrace always busy on WE nights . Good food , fantastic fresh shakes and all kind of drinks available. Plus you can Meet the Boss , she s really welcoming ! Very efficient smiling waitresses !
