We had brunch at the Happiness Cafe and the food was great. Highly recommend the falafels (we ordered 3 plates of it!) and the pannacota dessert. The chicken shawarma is very flavourful too. Service was fast and friendly staff. The view isn't perfect as not directly overlooking the beach, but the food and vibes (with free games to play) more than make up for it! Highly recommend :)

The people here are genuinely kind — the staff are attentive, friendly, and you can tell they love what they do. Nothing fake, nothing forced. Just real hospitality. The drinks are great, the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and you feel that true Filipino heart the moment you sit down. It’s the kind of place you end up staying longer than planned because it simply feels good. If you’re nearby: go in, grab a drink, and enjoy. Some places just hit different — this one definitely does.

Happiness Hostel is an excellent choice if you are a solo traveler or a group of friends aged 18-45 looking for a clean, social, and well-located base to explore El Nido. This place truly lives up to its name! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel so welcome. Its strengths in atmosphere, location, and service far outweigh its minor drawbacks for the right traveler.

Love the restaurant esthetic! Clean space, fresh food, attentive service and Great music. Plenty of seating and a great vibes. Ordered some healthy shakes and although slightly overpriced for the amount, it hit the spot. They did however add Del Monte juice and I assumed it was all fresh fruit. I ordered the hummus and all the dishes were plated well. Shout out to Lea who gave us great food recommendations and answered our many questions.

Great spot for dinner. Live music makes for chilled atmosphere whilst you eat the delicious food. Service was speedy, efficient and friendly, especially Rowena who made sure we had everything we needed. Most importantly the food was fresh and delicious!

5stars+ on several levels if you ask me. First of all the staff is amazing and a special “thank you for everything” goes to Gian. He is super kind, funny, makes you feel at home and makes the best cocktails. Tell him what you like and he’ll make you a perfect matching drink. We loved talking to him while having a drink and swinging (yes the bar chairs are swings, like it deserves a star as well). Secondly, we tried several dishes from breakfast to dinner and it was overal my favorite restaurant and bar in El Nido. My recommendation? Try the super banana shake and swing away. Miss this place so much and wish the staff all the best, you guys are so kind and caring. Thank you.

We had a great night at this bar! All the cocktails were prepared to perfection, applause to the barmen! Also all the waiters were super sweet and welcoming, especially Rona! Very chill atmosphere, so highly recommended:)

Everything we ordered here was so delicious! We tried the Panchetta con Tartufo and Quattro Formaggi pizzas, recommended by the staff, and they did not disappoint. The salad and drinks we ordered were also really good. While the food took some time to be served, it was definitely worth the wait. We were seated around 5:20pm, and the restaurant began to fill up around 6:00pm. Staff were pretty friendly and attentive. Overall, it was a great dining experience with a nice view.

We celebrated my wife’s birthday at Trattoria Altrove, El Nido, Palawan, and it was truly a memorable experience. The ambiance was warm and cozy, with a relaxing beachfront view that made the evening extra special. The rustic design and soft lighting created the perfect setting for a romantic dinner. The food was excellent, their pizza and pasta were authentic, flavorful, and served fresh. Portions were generous, and the quality exceeded our expectations. Despite the busy night, the service was smooth and efficient. The staff were attentive, accommodating, and added to the overall positive experience. Celebrating such a special occasion here made it unforgettable. If you’re visiting El Nido and want a place with delicious Italian food, great service, and a beautiful atmosphere, Trattoria Altrove is a must-visit. Went there on Nov 29, 2024. Food quality : Solid 5 star food quality. Nothing to really pick a fault on. (unlike that garbage Italian Pizza house "toto e Peppino in Alona, Bohol) Service : Pretty fast and good as well. However, I asked for some house water and it was not served. Cant even give some water? That is questionable.. Also the table mat, mine had a hole. They shouldnt use it. Lastly, they accept only cash that means, the owner will do a huge tax evation which i also understand.. Overally, great food.

Really like the pizza here we had the 4 cheese and we customised one with pepperoni, ham and garlic. Don’t forget to try the chilli oil

The mystery of the crowd was solved once we tasted their wood-fired pizzas—absolutely amazing! The cozy and inviting dining room only added to the experience, complemented by the nice staff. Highly recommend giving it a try! We opted for the carbonara and Mediterranean pizza, which were so fulfilling that we struggled to finish our halves. But they were simply too delicious to leave behind!

Next to our Joyful Guesthouse, which came highly recommended. Noticing that most of their customers were foreigners, we decided to try it on our third night in El Nido. Our group of 15 found it easily accessible. I ordered pizza margherita and pasta gamberi e olio d'oliva. The pasta was decent, though a bit pricey. The pizza was also okay, but it will be better if you put salt, pepper, and pepper/spicy oil. Thank you.

A little too expensive, well probably because of the logistics, but of course it's pugon-baked. The food is great and the view especially if you're seated right at the entrace. It's also situated almost at the center so it's easy to find and accessible. The thing is, the road outside is filled with puddles of water especially after a rain. But while the food is great, nothing really special, just one of the best you can find in the area. Service is ok and of course this being pugon-baked, be ready to wait for at about half an hour on off peak hours. We had an early dinner so the sun was still up but they were playing house music while children were playing. The music just doesn't vibe. And yes, as of this writing, El Nido still haven't fixed the drinking water problem.

Good vibes but not enough to justify its unreasonable price range, small serving, and quite frankly bland, poor excuse to call it Thai food. The red curry was spicy, quite watery but sorely lacked flavor. Tom yum was sour although lacking the authentic galanggal flavor- hence becoming much closer to sinigang than actual Tom yum. Thai milk tea was, you guessed it, bland as well. Sorry, please do better.

Perfect dinner in El Nido. The food is just great Thai food, as we experienced in the most authentic places while in Thailand. Short waiting time by putting ourselves on the list - 20 min - during which we just took a stroll in town and came back to a free outdoor table. Great Pad Thai, great green Curry, tasty Mango sticky rice. Do yourselves a favour and make sure you go there at least once during your stay!

Definitely recommend getting a reservation. We managed to get in (two of us) without one, but were only given one hour to eat. Really nice food! Limited in options as someone who eats a lot of Thai food, but the things they do make are delicious. Red curry is amazing. Sort of expensive but it is quality food. And they accept card.

Really tasty food with very healthy portion sizes. Cashew chicken was 5/5, portion size was very big Chicken satay 5/5, I literally spooned the left over sauce into my mouth Massaman was 3/5, tasty and good portion size but not authentic Thai taste. Too much star anise used

This is one of the best Thai restaurants in El Nido. We ordered green and red curry with chicken. The red curry is very spicy and tastes great. The place is not very big so if you have a big group, you might find it difficult to settle at a table, but for small groups it is great. The quality of the food is great.

Great place and overlooks the water. Just annoying though with the close proximity of people sitting with their back to your table and Flicking there dandruff filled hair onto your food. They shouldnt sit people like this. Kinda annoying as hell. Other than that it was a good place. Just be wearing of girls with long hair with their backs to your table.

The place has a nice cozy atmosphere witj a nice beach view. Staff were friendly and helpful. The foods are close to authentic. I love their Pad Thai and Spring Rolls. Mango Stick Rice is nice too.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Absolutely incredible! Bella Vita has the best truffle pizza I’ve ever had in my life – no exaggeration. I’ve been in El Nido for only three days and already had lunch here twice… and I’m definitely coming back again before I leave. The place has a simple yet super cozy vibe, and the staff is warm, welcoming, and friendly. So far, it’s the best food experience I’ve had in El Nido – everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. If you’re a pizza lover (or even if you’re not), this is a must-visit. Can’t recommend it enough!

Beautiful beach front restaurant with delicious New York style pizza (more toppings but still thincrust). The service was top-notch, super friendly and attentive. My only complaint would be that their Mediterranean salad had horribly bitter tasting olives - maybe substitute these for capers or feta cheese. If you're missing European / Western cuisine then you should definitely give this place a visit!

We went to Bella Vita’s happy hour and returned the next day because food looked so delicious, which it was. We had chicken Caesar salad, truffle pasta & a creamy pizza which were all amazing - we had to take the pizza as leftovers. Our waiter was Christian, very nice guy who looked after us well. I think there’s only two or three tables where you can see the sunset unimpeded by trees so get there early for sunset, or take a drink and enjoy. A beautiful view.

The best pizza I had in my life, a restaurant with a great beach view where to chill and enjoy a nice conversation without being disturbed by loud music. Generous portions and affordable prices for an insanely good quality, love it! Keep it up

Bella Vita El Nido – A Slice of Heaven by the Sea During our two-week stay in El Nido, Bella Vita quickly became our favorite spot—so much so that we returned several times and cherished every visit. On our first night, we ordered the Burrata Lover’s Pizza and the authentic Carbonara—and what a welcome meal it was. The carbonara was unforgettable: silky, rich, and perfectly balanced, with crispy guanciale that tasted like slivers of heaven. It was indulgent without being overwhelming—each bite just made us want more. The pizza, topped with a whole, glorious burrata, had the best crust we’ve ever had. That crust was so good we wiped the carbonara sauce off the plate with it—there wasn’t a single crumb left behind. We returned for lunch a few days later and had the Vegetariana Pizza and Caesar Salad. The pizza again delivered—generous toppings of peppers, olives, onions, and more on that signature crust. The Caesar Salad was a bit less impressive: the bacon was chunkier than expected, and the chicken might have been better cut into smaller pieces or shredded. The dressing also lacked that anchovy punch of a classic Caesar. Still, the seaside view and the ever-warm staff more than made up for it—it was a lovely, relaxed lunch overall. A few days later, we came back for dinner—and this visit was unforgettable. My partner is notoriously hard to please, but Bella Vita passed the test. We ordered the Burratina Pizza (yes, we really love burrata!) and the Gorgonzola Gnocchi. I did a little happy dance in my chair after the first bite of gnocchi. It was that good. Perfectly cooked—not mushy, with just the right bite—and coated in a sauce so divine I nearly cried. It was rich, creamy, and balanced in a way that felt masterful. I wanted to lick the plate clean, but the place was full of diners, so I did the next best thing: I ordered the Focaccia just to sop up every last drop. That dish alone is reason enough to return. We also tried the Chef’s Special Pizza and the Bruschetta on another evening, both of which were excellent. The Amaretto Sour stood out from the cocktail menu—well balanced and delicious—but the overall drink selection could be a bit more creative. Still, it’s a minor note in an otherwise outstanding experience. And then—there was dessert. My partner, who had sworn off chocolate for a few days, suddenly spotted a Chocolate Fondant being served at the next table. One look at his puppy-eyed expression and I caved. When it arrived, he nearly forgot to share. I couldn’t even be mad—the cake was that good. With its molten center, rich decadent texture, and just the right level of sweetness, it was heavenly. Paired with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, it was impossible to resist. We tried to split it evenly, but I’m fairly certain he got 15% more than I did. And truly, what sets Bella Vita apart—beyond the food and those stunning El Nido sunsets—is the genuine warmth of the staff. Every visit felt like coming home. Their hospitality is effortless, sincere, and absolutely memorable. Bella Vita is now firmly my go-to spot in El Nido. Amazing food, breathtaking views, and a team that makes you feel like family. Don’t miss this gem.

This has to be one of my favorite restaurants in El Nido. Their pizza is absolutely amazing! crispy crust, flavorful toppings, and baked just right. 🍕 We also tried their pasta (carbonara and amatriciana), and both were so satisfying and full of flavor. 🍝 The vibe of the place makes it even better, perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring the islands. Highly recommend if you’re visiting El Nido!

If you are in El Nido, Artcafe is a must visit! It is one of the oldest restaurant in El Nido. Service is superb with a good selection of food and drinks. I tried their craft and draft beer (which are both great). The vibe is very chill, too! There is live music sometimes. But the most important of all, the place is a feast for the eyes since you would see paintings and murals everywhere. Highly recommended!

Service and deco is wonderful but the food left a lot to be desired. I orderd the Seafood salad, it came drenched in salad dressing it was very soggy and lacked the crunch you expect form a fresh salad. The sea food consisted of two shrimp stewed with tiny bits of chopped up squid and unidentifiable fish plus 4 small clams.. the whole thing was very 'wet' and not very satisfying especially considering this is a " main course" . My husband ordered the Lasagne he found tasteless and it seemed to have been heated from frozen. We had spring rolls as a starter and they were just OK. Overall the food fell below our expectations. The best thing I had that night was my beer which was ice cold and the lovey live music. Edit: we woke up with a sore throat and stomach the next morning

We came here everyday during our stay in El Nido. Not only was the food amazing but the service was great! We booked our private speedboat island hopping tours with them for two days. We did tour a and tour b. Highly recommend your own private tour. Shout out to our tour guides JoEl and RoEl!!! They were our guys!! JoEl made tour a super enjoyable and showed us all the great hidden gems! Definitely recommend him to be your guide!! Such a great and funny dude!

A quirky and vibrant place , nicely tucked away in the town of El Nido.... Good afternoon everyone , I hope your well , so I've been coming to this place quite regularly over my time in El Nido and the main feature for me is that , it's nicely tucked away from the main town. It has a small bar on the beach , a cool shop and then it's bigger brother opposite , which has a very vibrant and welcoming feeling to it. The food and drinks are decent and while I feel the price is quite expensive , for the views and cool decor , with a nice ambient blend of chilled music in the background , it makes it worth it. They also sell there own home made soaps , jams , cutlery and a few other items that are definitely worth investing in. It's deffo a great place for solo , couples and families , who want to unwind , have some decent food , invest in some quality home made products and enjoy the beautiful views of the beach. Nice lunch with stunning view. Located in front of Elnido beach. Helpful yet patient staff, since i need extra time to order variety of menu. I order rice corned beef and chicken wing. They satisfied my taste buds. Unfortunately, i didnt have a chance to try the night ambience.

Oh wow. What a wonderful experience I’ve had at the Art Cafe El Nido tonight. I ventured out of my villa late in the afternoon, feeling pretty hungry. I soon came across this tranquil and divine cafe/restaurant bar and enjoyed a fresh seafood salad, fries and the most amazing vegetable spring rolls with a home made sweet chilli sauce. It was absolutely delicious and made to perfection. The lovely staff couldn’t do enough for me, all without the hovering and eagle-eye that you get in some places. The big, breezy balcony upstairs was so relaxing, perfect spot to start out with a chilled Aperol or two. Thank you so much. I’ll be back.

As a 34-year-old German who loves food and a good atmosphere, I was absolutely thrilled by this restaurant in El Nido! The combination of fresh **organic food**, live music, and creative drinks won me over completely. The food was not only delicious but also high-quality—you can tell they prioritize sustainable ingredients. Add to that the relaxed vibe with live music, and you’ve got the perfect way to unwind in the evening. The drinks were also fantastic—freshly made and full of flavor. My new favourite sunset spot in El Nido, I stumbled across this place on my way back from Las Cabañas beach. It's a nice little bar just off the main road. It was a picture-perfect west facing, 180-degree uninterrupted view over the bay. Staff were friendly, the drinks were good, and the music was a great vibe. I didn't eat but the menu looked good and there is happy hour 5-7.

Great bar to stop off for sunset cocktails. An unimpeded view to the west in an elevated wooden bar. It's got a charm and character about it. The staff are good, the cocktails are decent, but the most memorable part is that stunning view. We didn't have any food though, but it looked like a Spanish tapas menu on offer. Happy hour also lasts through sunset between 5-7pm.

This was, without exaggeration, one of the worst meals I have ever had. The tapas were a complete disaster — the meatballs were so bad they were impossible to eat. The prices are high for what you get, especially compared to the local cost of living. The Wi-Fi was useless, and the final straw: we found two dead cockroaches inside the napkin holder. We even recorded a video as proof. I strongly advise avoiding this place at all costs.

Great beach side bar with perfect view for sunset. Reasonably priced drinks and great service. Perfect ambiance with nice beach house music playing in the background and cozy yet unpretentious atmosphere. My kind of place!

Get there 1 hour before sunset to get your front row seats! I think my wife and myself may have been the oldest there, but it was a nice atmosphere, the service good and the food reasonable.

Just came from Taste and had an Amazing Lunch. Got the Chipotle Burrito Bowl which was just Delicious. When it arrived i thought to myself that i would not need so much sauce but turned out i needed more sauce as it really enhanced the Bowl. Great Staff too. Happy to have discovered this Amazing Vegan Place.

The food that we tried is super tasty. Cant remember the name of the smoothie, but we first tried the blue one, one taste and we fell in love with it! We ordered another smoothie, this time we tried the red one, and it didn’t disappoint as well! Must try in El Nido!

We were looking for a place to have breakfast and enjoy a good coffee with non-dairy milk options, and it was such a pleasant surprise. The coffee was excellent, with choices of soy and oat milk. We also tried the Cool Blue smoothie bowl and the Banoffee waffle – everything was delicious and served quite fast. Highly recommended, and everything on the menu is 100% vegan. The only thing I would improve is the seating: I understand the space is limited, but it can be a bit uncomfortable to sit on the floor or small stools with such low tables.

One of the best decorated cafe with good wifi and charging points. Coffee is not bad but it is pricier than the rest of the cafe. An americano cost 170peso here. Highly recommended if you are working on your schedule and require good wifi and charging station for a few hours.

Ordered crepe, smoothie bowl, and biscoff latte and they tasted great. Value for money is reasonable. The atmostphere is mid for me because it has small area for dining in. All in all, I recommend this place. 😊

The food is absolutely amazing! We wish we had more time in El Nido just so we could go back again. Every bite was fresh, flavorful, and made with so much care. The Cool Blue Smoothie Bowl is to die for—so refreshing, perfectly blended, and packed with flavor. The Tofu Burrito Bowl was another standout, with the perfect mix of textures and seasonings. The atmosphere is cozy, and the staff is friendly, making the whole experience even better. If you’re in El Nido, this is a must-visit spot for delicious, plant-based food. Highly recommend!

We ordered the chili and garlic curry with mix veggies and paneer. 2/3 spicy level. Amazing food. We felt as though it was a little expensive and small, as you only get either rice OR naan and when we ordered extra naan, for 59p more, it was a very small piece. Paneer was also an extra 50 p. Food was incredible though so we weren’t mad about it. Would recommend if you like Indian food and are not traveling on a tight budget.

Came across this place by happy accident, the smell of delicious curry drew us in as we walked by. The owner was really nice, and helpful in helping us decide what to order by asking what sort of curries we liked. We struggled to narrow it down and just wanted to eat everything, but were really pleased with everything that we ordered. The staff were very nice and the quality and the taste of the food was impeccable! Would highly recommend this place for anyone staying in El Nido!

Oh man, this place is gooood! I’ve never had such a flavourful curry and the samosas, rice, naan etc are amazing. You’ll have to roll yourself out of there because you won’t want to leave a single bite! If you’re looking for a bit of a break from the local cuisine then this is the place to go. Also loved that the owner was from a town down the road from where my partner is from! Lovely guy and great for a chat, which just adds to the experience!

Best authentic Indian dishes I've ever tasted!! Planning on trying as many dishes as possible while we're here!! Friendly service, great location, fair prices. Nothing else compares if you love Indian cuisine! It's a party in my mouth every time 😀

Ordered a brownie and iced spanish latte while watching the sun set behind Cadlao Island. It was a perfect spot to recollect what had just happened on your day tour all while sipping your coffee. Would have loved to try their Greek Food next time.

Waited for more than 30 mins for our order. 👎🏻 The resto was not even full at that time. Taste was ok. I liked the yogurt dip. Nice view. They only accept cash. Restroom was not clean. Service was ok. Spent ₱605 for chicken souvlaki and a soda in can (with service charge).

Went for lunch on a Friday in May 2025. Weather was treat and so was the view in this restaurant. They are in the beach front, situated in the heart of El Nido town. The food, amazing! The servers were all nice and accommodating. Shoutout to Ate Michelle 😊 We ordered Pita and Hummus, lamb chops (big serving), Salmon pasta, Souvlaki (they were so nice to allow me to have both chicken and seafood), lamb salpocao (must-try). Price per head: ~1,000 pesos including our drinks.

Such a lovely café! The breakfast was delicious, the coffee was good, and the view was absolutely amazing. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better.

This place was amazing 🤍 The salad was super fresh, the souvlaki had perfectly tender meat, and the carrot–orange juice was so refreshing 🥗🥙🧃 The staff were really attentive and the view is literally right over the ocean — the perfect spot 🌊✨ Plus, it’s right in the center and just steps from the port!

Cafe Athena offers a nice mix of Mediterranean flavors in El Nido. I tried the Prawn Aglio Olio which was simply seasoned with garlic and olive oil over garlic parmesan pasta and it was decent. The Mediterranean Dips were enjoyable with hummus, htipiti, and baba ganoush served alongside pita bread that was thicker than usual, making it hearty and filling. My favorite of the lunch was the Cafe Athena Chopped Salad with mixed greens, blue cheese, pears, walnuts, and a Greek vinaigrette. The blend of flavors from the cheese, vinaigrette, and crisp greens came together beautifully and made this dish stand out. Overall, a pleasant spot for Mediterranean food in El Nido - specially if you sit in front of the sea.

We had the flaming cheese as a starter to share followed by a chicken souvlaki! Delicious flavours and great quality meat and the roasted vegetables and sauces were very garlicky and flavourful! Lovely view out to the sea and friendly service- relaxing atmosphere listening to the sea! Great choice of fresh juices I had the pineapple and mint juice which was very refreshing!!

Menu is small and prices arent bad for being beach front. They had two really great singers but it was so loud you couldn’t even order your food or speak to anyone at your table. Definitely need to turn down the music a lot. Food was good, portions were nice, staff was friendly.

SAVA Beach Bar is one of the best spots to chill here in El Nido! Ang ganda ng ambiance — classy pero relaxed lang, perfect for sunset drinks with friends or someone special. May live band every night special at peak season~they set the mood habang nag-eenjoy ka ng cocktails by the beach. The staff are friendly and the place just gives good vibes all around. Perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the night — sulit puntahan!

" cool restaurant beach bar with indie lounge / vibes , however , had to deduct 1 star for being treated unfairly " So the first time I came in to this place , it was at night and I have to admit , the DJ that was playing , really put me of from doing a review on this place..... However , patience is important and I decided to come back another time to see if there was a different vibe. Glad I did , as I came back in the later afternoon , when it was very chilled , not many people here , very chilled lounge / indie vibes and the experience was a lot more enjoyable. I also tried one of the pork burritos here , and defiantly took me by surprise with the first bite. Very Filling , loved the pineapple subtle sweetness in the background , wrap was warm and pretty decent , my only gripe is that , the salad was missing from the wrap 🤦.... it was just on the side...if this had been chopped up and put inside the wrap , with maybe a decent dip on the side , i think this could of easily been one of the best wraps in el Nido. The price is decent for what you get , so I would definitely get this again , however , in order to make this even better , I hope maybe the manager or staff can take on board my positive , constructive criticism, other than that , very tasty wrap / burrito. The service wasn't immense or amazing , but to be honest , the type of this place is , it's kind of a very laid back vibe so It kind of works in a strange way. Service charge is included and respect to the barman who noted what I said and perhaps gave me slightly a bit more than what I should of got given. A little goes a long way for me and for that tiny little extra he gave me , along with everything else , definitely made me want to come back another time....so congrats !!! There is also an upstairs , that isn't quite as big as downstairs , but still big enough to hold maybe 20/30 people. Sitting on the beach that extends to the sea, the atmosphere is great. The food is delicious, and there are many choices for cocktails. We made a reservation in advance (paid a deposit of 2500 Philippine pesos) and went for a massage before coming to eat.

Went for a couple drinks and snacks during happy hour after a full day of swimming/ snorkelling Mua tai and Cosmo cocktails were delicious We got the veg spring rolls and crispy eggplant with pesto cashews and sundried tomatoes - absolutely delicious Staff were great Venue is really nice Definitely worth a visit We rode our scooter in and parked front left of the building - just make sure you move your bike before the road is closed for street markets

Killer spot for tapas and sunset. The sangria and garlic prawns were on point. Also tried to poke bowl which I enjoyed.

Nice chilled place by the beach. They have a happy hour from 5-7pm. The staff were all very professional and pleasant. We tried the trio taco. My husband has the pork one and his review is that it beats the other two meats/flavours. I had their patatas bravas which I really enjoyed. Would recommend as a sunset spot

It was a bit busy when I went in the afternoon and I decided to try a couple of pastries. It was disorderly when you get to the front of the line. There are nice signs to tell you what the pastries are and for how much they are sold for. It’s everyone fending for themselves, you must get the attention of a worker before someone else pushes past you to get helped first. By the time I got the attention of the worker, she was clearly annoyed when she could tell I was a foreigner and was rushing to get me to order. I quickly pointed to a cookie and she ask “anything else” multiple times. I did end up pointing to another pastry and said that was all. It was fairly cheap at 10 pesos for two pastries. It’s really hard to make a decision on what to get when you don’t know the items and how much they cost. The service wasn’t great. The pastries were mediocre.

Authentic Filipino bakery. Every time I went, the baked goods were fresh straight out of the oven. Try the filled coconut buns for 5 pesos only, so delicious !!

Local bakery, we got a Pandesal, blueberry muffin, sponge cake and other stuff through out our stay in El Nido.

I tried some cakes after seeing a large queue for days. The donut was really good and the brownie bites were a bit dry but for the price, way better than other ones from surrounding coffee shops. I paid 180p.

Fantastic little authentic bakery, selling a wide selection of local and international pastries, cakes and sweat and savoury breads. The local foods are the cheapest with the more international options being a little higher in price, so the prices do vary a bit. However this is totally to be expected as producing a local sweat bread or making a simple ring donut is much cheaper than producing a pain au chocolat for example. Having said that even the higher priced items are still very inexpensive really. It does get a bit chaotic at busy times but this just highlights how popular and how good the bakery is. The staff are super friendly and helpful too and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the different items for sale. This bakery is a great place to grab a breakfast on the go or a sweat treat or snack at any time of day. It's one of the few places in El Nido offering food at local prices and not fleecing tourists like most of the other places in El Nido. I highly recommend this bakery, I went here every day during my stay in El Nido.

The best place in El Nido! The average pastery costs between 3 to 5 pesos !!! The donuts and vanilla buns are heaven! We tried new things everyday and ate about 10 donuts a day. It’s a wonder I didn’t roll out of the island! Heads up, don’t get the banana bread it’s 45 and kind of dry!

The chocolate cake was extremely dry but the donuts are really cheap and good.

The mussels and shrimp were edible. The morning glory had a somewhat disappointing vinegary taste, and the seafood pasta was also disappointing. Finally, the chicken satay was unbearable.

I found this place by accident, and wow! I’m so happy I did! I ordered a veggie omelet. It comes with butter, jam, bread, few pieces of fruits and an omelet. So fulfilling and tasty. And then I got banana mango crepes to go, and guys! You must try it. I was surprised that they put good amount of mangoes and bananas in it. Thank you so much, and the view was beautiful in the cafe. 🩵 Prices are also pretty affordable compare to most of the places in el nido city. I paid 600 something for two dishes, and in other places one meal is like 500pesos.

Angel wish Cafe was 10/10. Went for breakfast and lunch every day of my holiday! Staff are very pleasant and friendly. Best coffee in ElNido! Pancakes are so fresh! Great view of the beach and boats.

we went here with 1 goal and that is just to eat breakfast. but upon reaching the Angel Wish cafe we are delightful with what we see, a small cafe & resto with a great view. the prices are cheap but the taste is so great. we ordered tocilog, spaghetti, french toast, a of them are superb. I will recommend this to all tourists.

I found this little gem. You wouldn't even know it's there sitting on the beach at Eldo. The drinks are very well priced and very good quality. Thoroughly recommended the mango shake was possibly one of the best I've had in the Philippines And I've had a lot!!!!

We are regular customers for years, time to give a rating. The ambience is just ok, but you can see the ocean. Once inside though, the food is incredibly tasty and delicious, if you make the right choices and keep it filipino. They serve fresh fish and seafood by weight as well as a regular menu, which offers the better value. Absolut favourites here: Kinilaw (Ceviche), Spicy or Pepper Shrimp, Baked Mussels, Squid Salpicao, Sizzling Octopus, Kankong and a great Mango or Buko Shake. We avoid buttered dishes and pasta as in the PH this often is sweet and not westerners choice. We came more often before, but were disappointed as 6 weeks ago all food prices went up 30% without any visible improvement. Still, authentic filipino cuisine, cooked with love.

Great little spot overlooking the beach. The view is excellent, and you can watch the chaos of everyone trying to get on boats in the morning. I had an omelette which was delicious and portions are generous and a great price. The staff are delightful, and I even got an amazing fresh out of the oven brownie as I was leaving.

Just had an amazing dinner at Maa’s Grill in El Nido, and I can’t recommend it enough! The food was absolutely delicious and so authentic perfect after a day of island hopping. We tried the squid in a rich, savory sauce (possibly adobo-style?), succulent shrimp topped with garlic and spices, and a mouthwatering pork dish with peanuts and veggies that had the perfect balance of flavors. Everything was fresh, and the portions were generous enough to share. The rice was the perfect side to soak it all up. The vibe is super casual and welcoming, with that homey Filipino feel. Service was friendly, though it got busy, so arriving early is a good tip. Prices were super reasonable too! Will definitely be back before leaving El Nido. Don’t miss this spot if you love real Filipino cuisine!

Adobo in coconut cream and the Fish sinigang were the best. The menu says “grilled” pork belly but it was only fried/baked in the oven. There’s no smoky flavor. The kilawin was really fresh.

we dined here thrice in our 6-day visit and it's also the last resto we visited before going back home, that's how much we loved the food here! the price is good and the food even better. you really get your money's worth. we loved the adobong kangkong so much, we ordered it every time. the seafood is fresh and delicious. the place is also nice and chill. it was cool and fresh inside even during a very sunny lunchtime. definitely our favorite place in el nido. we would love to visit again someday.

If you are looking for comforting Pinoy food this is the place to be! 🇵🇭 We ordered Sinigang na Baboy which is sooo comforting after being out from the island tour. This is good for sharing, tons of veggies and pork and the soup is just the right amount of sourness! The Pork Sisig is sooo good as well with egg on top! Good for sharing as well

Maas Grill is a hidden gem right in the heart of El Nido, along Hama Street. We went to this small local restaurant and were blown away by how good the food was! We tried their sisig and chicken adobo with coconut milk — the adobo was especially unique and full of flavor. The prices are reasonable (around ₱300 per dish), and the spot gives you a nice little view of the street so you can relax and people-watch while you eat. Definitely one of the best Filipino meals I’ve had in town!

Highly recommended to go during sunsets. My fiancee and I visited at night. A few things to note is that it's about 10 mins from Vanilla Beach, or 15 minutes from McDonalds. This place is located on a hill overlooking the bay, so there are quite a number of steps before you reach the restaurant. There will be inspiring signs along the way to give you a morale boost to keep climbing. The restaurant is great, very nice touches in design. Staff are very welcoming. If you are keen, do try to make a reservation, as the spaces in the restaurant are limited and tend to be booked up. Even though we were walk in customers, they were accommodating to us and let us sit on a balcony to wait for a vacant table. The food was very good (we recommend the pork chop). The owner greeted us and was very friendly. It is a good experience altogether.

Amazing dinner experience for 2 at The Nesting Table; me and my boyfriend went there for a nice view and good food and that’s what we found. Lovely and stylish atmosphere, good and fast service, selected plates very well prepared. We had the Snapper which has a delicate sauce and very well prepared cocktails and dessert! Somewhat underwhelming experience. Lovely location and wonderful staff but the food just failed to deliver. We had the ceviche which was unusual due to the tomato based sauce, the veggie burger with banana heart pattie - the bun was stale, the pineapple fridge cold as well as the potato crisps. Most dissapointing was the chicken inasal with no hint of lemongrass or the calamansi honey glaze, and the sautéed vegetables were non existent. We were a little surprised at a service charge as have not seen this before in Palawan. This place has a long long way to go before it reaches the levels of Mojitos in Port Barton which is quite rightly ranked #1

It's a climb alright. But a spectacular view of El Nido's lagoon and good food and I mean it the meatballs the grilled fish the chicken adobo oh so yummy. The staff very well trained and friendly. Make sure to book way ahead if you the best view on the balcony for that romantic sundowner. The cakes with their French press is the perfect ending to your sumptuous meal. But make sure to bring cash or have a PayPal account!

The menu is kept short, which is for me a typical indicator for high quality food. We tried the Currys and we loved it. The restaurant is lovely decorated, very romantic. If you get the chance to sit outside, you'll enjoy a beautiful sea view. Walk along Vanilla Beach and keep your eyes open for signs to find this place. To get up to the tree tops you need to go up bamboo stairs (see picture below).

The place it's really beautiful, great views, relax atmosfera, goods service. However I don't give it the excellent because the food was quite simple and a bit pricy. When you see the menu you would expects something more sophisticate. A great place anyway.

Looks good but takes too long to arrive. Also, seafood in El Nido is underwhelming unless you're willing to spend thousands on those seaside 'paluto' restaurants.

We ordered Fruit de Mare - it came is a huge plate with a looot of seafood, all for 600 pesos. The only thing is that crabs and shrimps were small. But it’s totally worth the price.

It took them almost an hour to cook my fish curry and noticed that they have a different approach towards Filipino and foreign customers. They were kinda rude towards Filipinos. The prices are very cheap but the service is just terrible.

Worst customer service VAN were helping us and they have lots of worker there but only her help us and she were serving lots of people too she was scrambling.. It was on April 4th 2025 we went there to eat breakfast but suddenly they forget my order we had a party of 5 but only mine they forgot waited for a long time they didn’t even notify me.. I was the one who get their attention and asked were is my food? We have to ask for a service water. Poor customer service but yet they charge you a service.. My husband ordered a hot chocolate taste bland need little sugar on it. Looks very presentable though!

When we were there (june 2025) the menu had both pages from the Beach Shack as well as pages from another restaurant in it. I don't know if that is always the case, but we ordered the sisig and kebab pollo. Both were really delicious!! The view was also beautiful, even when cloudy. We also had a couple of cocktails, which were fine and mixed well.

Chill vibes and great food right by the water! Perfect spot to relax, enjoy fresh drinks, and watch the sunset. Friendly service and a laid-back atmosphere make it a favorite.

One of my most memorable dining experience. Epic food in a quaint and relaxed atmosphere. This place is literally a Parisian Cafe "Beach Version". Even the name "La Plage" is so appropriate. Then the food arrived with a presentation meticulously curated and beyond perfect. Oh my the flavors were Fresh and absolutely satisfying. I would fly to El Nido just to enjoy this incredible experience again and again. Merci Beaucoup La Plage!

I had an amazing time and delicious food at La Plage. I was searching for a relaxing break from the boat tours and this place exceeded my expectations. I got a comfy seat on a big materasse in front of the beach, protected by the shade of the threes, overlooking at the sea. The location offers also a pool however the sea here is very quiet and the send is soft without rocks perfect for a swim but if you are looking for snorkelling, this is not the place. Staff was nice and, despite what some reviews stated, I was never pushed to buy more then what I ordered or never felt unattended. And let's be honest, it would be extremely rude for a customer to buy one drink and pretending to occupy the beach front seats all day long. This is a business not a charity institution. Food was delicious. I had ceviche, that by the way was insanely good and well presented, octopus salad with a tasty dressing, and a warm basket of bread that I used to clean up the dish. I was also provided with complimentary water as, by choice, I don't like to consume water in plastic bottles to reduce pollution. I don't drink alcoholic beverage, so I cannot comment on the drinks, but they looked good. Despite having raw fish, I did not suffer any food poisoning, as many negative reviews are stating. I actually was so full and satisfied by the food that I had to take a nap after the meal 😅. If the problem could be related to ice cubes, as some reviews say, well I cannot tell. For my personal experience this did not happen to me, so I would say, eat with confidence. The ambience is so relaxing, the sunset view is so romantic and the chill music in the evening add and extra value to the full experience. My only advice would be to designate a space for smoking, as I don't smoke and there were some people smoking next to me, and this was a bit disturbing. One last note about another complain I read in the reviews, the extra 5% charge for credit card payment. I saw this in many other locations and it is not surprising me. Is it rare to find restaurants or bars or any activity accepting card payment in the Philippines. I think that giving this option to its customer is actually a plus. So, if you don't want to pay the fee, just pay cash as you do in any other business in the Philippines. Last, but not least, I forgot the umbrella I borrowed from my hotel there. When I realized it, it was already late as I was departing the day after and had no time to comeback to pick it up. I gave them a phone call and they were so kind to give it to a tuk tuk and have it delivered to the hotel, of course I paid for the ride, but they could have just said that they did not find it or not be willing to help. Instead the went beyond expectation. So my experience in La Plage restaurant, overall was outstanding and I highly recommend it.

This was our first meal in Palawan and it was fantastic ( this is our 3rd day). The seafood tasted fresh and well seasoned. We (4)went at lunch and it was empty (start of the slow season?) we had the curry mussels, spring rolls, tuna tataki, seafood curry fried rice and pan fried fish

Absolut top noch. Perfect for a sunset cocktail and a lovely dinner in a very nice environment. Went there several times during our stay. You can't go wrong with any of their dishes. My favourite were the tapenadas and the Pepper tuna. Absolutely delicious👌😋

Hello we stumbled across this place. The View is spectacular. The food was simply amazing. The service was a bit slow but with this View you can put up with that... totally recommended.

We had a nice relaxing lunch here. I enjoyed the Coconut Curry Mussels and would recommend. Service a little slow and shy but polite. Stopped by here for a coffee on another occasion. It’s a good spot to enjoy the view and some fresh fish or seafood. I’d go back.

Today we tried a recommendation from another traveler outside the restaurant. The meals were good and delicious BUT the portions were too small. It’s definitely too expensive for that what you get. The flavour is not all. There must be a good relationship between the price and the food. So we payed for all three portions about 20 EUR (~1200PHP). And we were still hungry after that visit. That’s a pity. Especially we ordered extra fries… .

The best cocktails we’ve had on our whole 3 week trip in the Philippines, particularly the mango daiquiris. We will definitely be back to try the food next time!

Wow, I have not ever experienced a meal so bad. I am not in the habit of writing reviews good or bad but this one needs to be written. We ordered what we thought might be 2 Vietnamese dishes. Chicken salad and Tofu with minced pork with veggies. What they brought out was a sweet soup like concoction with floating bits of pork fat and tofu? The chicken salad was chopped cabbage, very dry with little or no dressing or sauce or flavor to speak of, with dry pieces of boiled chicken. We immediately asked to cancel the rice we ordered as they had not delivered it to the table. We then asked for the bill as we could not eat anything. They came to the table and apologized but presented us with the bill for the whole meal including the rice that was never delivered to the table. We paid the bill and left. They did not handle this situation well at all. We were fine paying for what we ordered but at least they could have removed the rice from the bill. Please do your restaurant a favor and remove the Vietnamese items from your menu. Its hurting your business. I can NOT recommend this place for the Vietnamese food. Hopefully they might have other menu items that would be better.

This place has amazing food! Might be slightly pricey for the amount of food, but totally worth it give the quality and flavor. Highly recommend the kinilaw, grilled and sizzling squid and spicy calamari/prawn tempura. Great vibe as well! Live music some nights.

While the staff was friendly, we found the place lacking any real appeal. The disco/ bar. Was very loud. And very empty, 4 nights in a row. It just doesn't have that wow factor. Which we experienced in other restaurants/ clubs. ElNido is a place of long-lasting positive memories and adventure. District reminded me of a restaurant in Hong Kong. Where we hammered out business deals. Would not recommend. Not unless you in ElNido to settle contrats

We went there twice, once for food and the other time just for drinks. The food was extremely delicious. The chicken satay-like dish needs special mentioning as it was just fantastic. Furthermore, the Pina coladas were amazing too. I'd definitely be back here. The only downside was that a few items were not absolute. Recommend

Amazing food here! We were waiting to find a place like this after going to 2 average places in El Nido town. Great place to stop by before heading to Nacpan beach or the waterfalls. We had breakfast there and also went back again for dinner. Staff are friendly and food was served promptly. For breakfast we had lamsilog (fish), tapsilog (beef) with unlimited iced tea and halo halo dessert we really enjoyed everything. For dinner we had cheese sticks, barbeque pork skewers, lechon kawali (pork belly), sigsig burger, leche flan (cream caramel - creamiest one we've ever had in our life!) with coconut smoothie and watermelon shake - all very delicious although Sigsig burger on the salty side.

Located 5 km from downtown on elnido National highway(very close to the airport in elnido) away from the crowded downtown area. it’s a open from 6am to 10pm. Location is a bit far if you don’t have a rental bike. You can stop by on the way to nacpan beach or the waterfalls. Food was amazing, hot and fresh and well presented. Very kind staff as well. Portions were decent and fresh juices on the menu as well. I would highly recommend anyone visiting El Nido to try atleast once eating here. Staff are friendly and it does get crowded as it’s popular. The prices compared to downtown elnido resto prices is much cheaper.

Find this place! It's about 3.5 miles away from the main area and will take you a few minutes on a bike but if you have one rented... MAKE THE DRIVE! They don't have a menu besides what's on the wall but this gem of a restaurant is a charming little spot to get away from the tourists, eat like a local, but also not be eating "shack" food. But still, there's absolutely nothing wrong with that but this place is also English speaking friendly... oh yeah and free WiFi haha

We went there last March 2020 and only a few restaurants were open and we were the only one eating at Tambok's at that time. The food is delicious and feels like home cooked. The prices are also reasonable. 😊

Bit far away from town, about 15 mins ride distance. Already close to Lio Beach. A little pricy but the food and ambience is nice.

Located conveniently just before you reach Lio Beach at National Highway in Barangay Villa Libertad. Try their best seller Buko Pancit and Laswa Vege Soup recommended for Vegetarians. Very nice ambiance and plays relaxing music. The price is reasonable 👌

Lured by the cinnamon rolls with cream cheese frosting, I went straight to Tambok's El Nido after work. Since I haven't visited in awhile, i was surprised by the homey yet classy ambience thay flooded my senses! It was like having an eye massage while standing at the counter as the helpful crew,Chab, wraps my order. The cinnamon rolls did not last long. They were decadent (yes, plural🤣😂, i consumed more than one 🤤)! They were made with love, i can feel the ❤️ as the rolls unravel in my tounge. They taste far better that the commercially produced c.rolls because they are not as sweet! Ok bye, I'm craving for another one!

We always make it a point to visit this place whenever we're in El Nido, and the food keeps getting better with each visit. However, it's worth noting that there's no longer any air conditioning, and it can get uncomfortably hot—especially since the seating is close to the open kitchen. Hopefully, they consider making some improvements to the space. Also, just a bit of advice for foreign visitors: please don’t be quick to blame restaurants for food poisoning. The tap water in El Nido is not sanitary, and even using it to brush your teeth or rinse in the shower can cause issues. That’s likely the source—not the food.

This is one of the best Japanese restaurants in El Nido with very tasty food and great service. We had ramen and beef gyu don, and both were great. The staff are trained well, and you are taken good care of. The space is small. The balcony has some counter sitting area, which is nice. When you go there, be mindful of the small steps on the stairs going up.

I ordered The Ramen and it was just okay, nothing particularly special. The soup was quite bland, and although there were condiments available like ground pepper, salt, soy sauce, and chili powder, they didn’t really enhance the flavor. On a positive note, the ramen noodles were good and cooked well. Overall, it was a decent meal.

Been craving this tsukemen for months, and I’m so glad I got to try it before they closed for renovation! They honestly have the best tsukemen!! the soup is rich and perfectly thick, just the way I like it. Can’t wait for them to reopen so I can go back. Just a note: if you’re sensitive to salt, this might not be for you

We had the gyoza and ramen and it was absolutely fantastic. As a big ramen enthusiast I can easily say that this ramen is up to par with some of the best places I‘ve been to in Japan. Really tasty and really good service!

The Gyūdon was perfect. The meat is soft and tender. Big servings and worth the price. I almost didn’t finish it because I was full halfway through. Best spot is the terrace. Inside the restaurant looks good, but the AC is broken.

The Ramen, damn, the best one I had in long time. Can’t say much about anything else. Nice design. Good communication. Great food.

Good food, wonderful view of the beach and the harbour, especially at sunset time.. Food was either really good or average based on the dishes we ordered between the 6 of us that visited. The servers are super friendly with quick service, the sheesha can definately be improved upon. I would say this restuarant is one of the few good ones on the beachfront compared to Other places we visited for dinner, lunch etc.

Great location and view but poor service and food. One of the salads "was not available" because one of the ingredients was missing. We couldn't get the salad anyway, the waitress recommended this salad instead.

The only shisha place in El Nido Located right on the beach above submariner diving center. Location 5/5 the view is amazing and relaxing as you can see the El Nido beach with all the boats in the shore. Food 4/5 food is above average The jalapeño stuffed with cheese was really good but spicy for those who can’t handle spice , they have wings, pizzas, pastas, kebabs to choose from.. I enjoyed this place more for sheesha drinks and appetizers. Also they give 15% discount if you use scuba diving tours from submariner diving. Good place to relax after a day tour Location is great as you can hit the bar right after you finish the day trip at elnido.

The food ir very tasty, especially the burgers, and tempura shirmps that was a huge plate of 200 grams. Also, they make delicious coctails.The portions are big, and not expensive. Although, the shisha is very average. Despite of that we had a great time there on the shore of the sea. 😊 also, the entrence is on the side of the sea, not the street, no clear signs, so it was difficult to find.

The only reason one works really go to this place is for the sheesha. The food is very average. For a Middle Eastern cuisine restaurant, the hummus was barely consumable. The cocktail was extra strong and the drinks were too strong too. The stuffed jalapenos were totally worth it though. All in all, the place is good to chill by the beach and have a good sheesha.

Great food. Tried the Chicken tikka masala,mango shake,jalapeno cheese sticks and chicken burger everything was great except the chicken burger which was bland. Nice place to view the sunset and relax.

I love the appetizer and the food we ordered here.. Nice place to relax with panoráma sea view of El Nido. Relaxing environment, we stayed 5 hours From afternoon snack after the tour and nap to dinner.. Waiter was accommodating.. Surely wanna go back to El Nido, chill and dine here.

A cafe I discovered immediately when we arrived in Elnido. The sandwiches and salads we ate were delicious and filling. The filter coffee was very good but they did not have english breakfast tea. Ice cream and lava cakes also very good.

We had ice cream here one night and it was very good. They have only eight flavours, some of which finish sooner than the others. It is a good idea to add a vanilla flavour as it is the base for most ice cream. Also, the cones they use are for single scoop. Serving two scoops on these cones means that the second scoop is put firmly on top of the first, and you have to finish that before tasting the second one. Having cones for two scoops will be much better. Overall, their ice cream is very tasty.

I was supposed to eat at another place but it was closed so ended up at Gusto. Ordered the Pan Seared Fish which was a Little Bit Tough but Delicious! The Halo Halo was Good and is good for 2. Service was Good but Food took some time to Arrive but it was okay as i am not in a Hurry.

Modern cafe with clean asthetic. I had the Croque Madam and Coco Banana Smoothie and it was delicious. Highly recommend this place for coffee and breakfast. May be back for dinner. Staff was friendly and helpful.

It happened to be the owner’s birthday, and funny enough, it was my birthday too twin vibes! 🥳 The service was amazing, the staff super friendly, and the food impeccable. Great vibes, good music, and an all around awesome spot. Highly recommend!

I was disappointed about how they wrapped my crepe its a Nutella crepe i asked them to wrap since I was already full with the other food I ordered.. its a crepe atleast you have a sealed paper box not just a paper plate and not even sealed.. Felt terrible when I opened it messy and scattered.

I have a grill grouper and a grill pork belly for 400peso without rice. Grill fish is done well but would prefer the pork belly to be charred a little. After ordering, they will provide you with a number tag to be displayed on the table you have selected. Rice and drinks will be served when the food is ready. The upstair seat has a fantastic view. Recommended!

The Jarace Grill is a nice ambience for the tourists visiting El Nido, Palawan, Philippines. The guest can enjoy the beach while taking meals. It's great fun. Staff members are well-behaved and caring. They have nice fresh fish and other seafood collections to offer. But hygiene and cooking are not at all up to minimum expectations. If they can improve this area, they will be a must visit destination for the tourists.

Very busy with tourists and locals Friendly staff and not pushy Had three prawn dishes and calamari and garlic rice all great and tasty. Simple menu - grilled items per kg looked great too and were available for you to choose specific pieces to have cooked (lobster, fish, prawns etc) . At time of posting lobster was 3800php per kg . We just chose off the menu . Only negative was the Questionable toilet facilities, suggest using elsewhere .

Best food we ate in Philipines (during two weeks trip). Local, fresh, delicious, amazing soup, great fish and seafood! So if you want to eat like a local - definately go there!

The restaurant was recommended of our tour guide when we had a Day Tour in El Nido so we have to try it. Before entering the restaurant they have fresh seafood and some marinated meats outside the restaurant and we can choose and they can grill it for us. The Unicorn fish and the Lapu-Lapu taste fresh and good but some bits are too charred for us but the Crispy Pata was amazing! Considering the price, it is a big portion and quite lovely! Staff were nice but doesn’t pay too much attention to the customers and were just chatting sometimes and atmosphere is okay since it is near the beach. Overall, food was great and fresh, decent portions and affordable. 😁

Amazing staff and great great service ! We came here three times for their Octoberfest beer 500 pesos per person such a good deal for great beer and lovely environment with great staff! Literally as soon as we finished a drink they would be ready with the next and so kind! We did not eat as happened to be always coming after a trip but it smelt and looked great ! Don’t miss out on a visit! Also excellent music!!

We visited Odessa Mama Cafe & Boodmo Brewery in El Nido and were delighted! We tried delicious Ukrainian dishes — fresh, flavorful, and full of taste. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the craft beer is excellent. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for something special!

Great owner - a lovely Ukrainian lady from Odessa. She and her husband started this place in 2017 when El Nido was not that touristic. The food was great and authentic, which is not easy to achieve here as you can't just buy the ingredients in a grocery store. They make Ukrainian dairy products from condensed milk imported from Ukraine as the local milk doesn't taste authentic! The selection of dishes is nice and also vegetarian-friendly. The beer is good and brewed right at the place - and wow, the brewery's equipment is from Ukraine as well! How are you bad thing is that the selection of beer was limited to 3 kinds.

My first time at El Nido and my first time to try Ukranian food. Although the dishes were a bit bland, I liked everything we ordered. Who would have thought, a Ukraine restaurant at an island in the Philippines. 👏👏👏 worth trying. You should also try their craft beers. If you’re in town I suggest you give it a go.

Visited this place 5 times in the 3 days we were staying in El Nido, the one place where you can order anything and it will be absolutely delicious. Many options for vegetarians as well. Also cocktails here are with good amount of alcohol and very tasty! Enjoyed the atmosphere, staff is lovely and the place is a family business so they put all their love into it and you can definitely feel it when visiting!

Please don’t judge just by appearances… Best music in town! – If your ears are already burned out from crappy rap or endless pop hits, this is the place for you. And they have really good beer! – Their craft beer is great. I love it.

The beer was very good. The cabbage rolls were just ok. But I'm from a place with a lot of Ukranians so I have a high standard. A little pricey too compared to other nearby restaurants.

We had a wonderful team dinner here. Our group of 12 was seated with a nice view, and the food was tasty and well-prepared. A great spot for gatherings.

Not worth it if you’re not into Filipino food. 500 pesos and if you want a smoothie an extra 195. You can do better after enjoying the roof top deck.

WOW the view is incredible! The seating lounges are very nice and comfortable. A great spot for sunset cocktails. My boyfriend was very happy with his pizza , however my salad didn’t come with a few ingredients it said it’d come with on the menu so I was pretty disappointed in that. I’d definitely come back for the view and cocktails though! The staff are lovely as well.

Over priced, corned beef was the same served in regular silogan everywhere. Rice was not old and frying it doest masked the fact that it is. Putting raw onions will not make the food taste better. Dont be lazy and walk a little bit further to get your money's worth.

The food is fantastic. This restaurant has a 'local' feel. Not a 'trendy' restaurant. In fact, with all the European, Australian, and American tourists in El Nido I was the only obvious non-Filipino that I saw going here. I liked it better than some of the beachside pubs for food.

Local restaurant. Price is ok comparing to some other restaurants around here. But taste could be better. Be aware that it is too salty. Actually I wanna try the grilled chicken at the place next to Silog. But the man pointed us Silog, we thought we could only order grilled chicken from there. Then the waiter at Silog said there is no grilled chicken here (WTH??!)

In a place where exquisite restaurants and fresh from the sea chow places, this place is a budget friendly store for you. It's like you're eating the "silog" from the streets of Manila with the pocket-friendly price. If you are in El Nido for its beaches, places and not the food, you will never have a problem eating here.

The slowest service ever. You should order one day in advance to have the food on time. I left fries that I've paid for because it was taking too long, at least I expect that the next customer enjoyed my fries.

Really good taste of the food, service attentive and friendly. This prices are just for tourists not for locals, and they charge you 10% service fee on the bill. For me not understandable , we are not in Miami Beach but in El Nido. This effect cause the 4 star rating. All this area is nice and the structure and pics of the card is really nice done.

Best food in the whole of Philippines (or at least out of Manila, Boracay, El Nido and all towns between). First and only place we've felt satisfied and had a nutritious meal, while being completely delicious . Absolutely recommend the rice and noodle bowl. Have eaten there 3 times (out of a 6 night stay in el nido and will go again for our last night). Staff are fabulous and owner is so passionate meeting her is the icing on the cake!

Fabulous food, drinks, service & people! I read about Local Provisions in a magazine and went there my first evening in El Nido. My goodness it was so good, and the owners Barb (the baker) and Kurt (the chef) are so welcoming, kind, and fun! I ended up staying long after my meal (and enjoyed a few drinks) just talking with them. I ate there for one meal a day...that's how good it was! I only skipped one dinner and that was to go to the Barb's & Kurt's favorite local Filipino spot! But I did spend happy hour with them! :) Everything I had was simply fantastic. I tried everything from crispy seafood spring rolls to clam & fish pasta (add the amazing house cured bacon!) to the goat flatbread to the catch of the day. Plus at least one of their craft cocktails each day, too! And I was staying at a resort with one of the restaurants that has some of the highest reviews! It just doesn't compare to Local Provisions!! Everything is fresh that day, the seafood is caught that morning & cleaned and fileted by Kurt himself, the bacon is house -cured, the cocktails are infused in house, etc. Oh and if you're into spicy -- DEFINITELY ask for Kurt's chili paste!! He roasts local chilis and makes a fantastic chili paste that I seriously wanted to bottle and bring home to Texas!!!

Smoked chicken, boar, fish, as well as veggie options, crisp organic salads, fruit smoothies, and small plates provide choices for nearly everyone’s taste. 😋 The mains on the menu change daily. I always want to come back again to see what else they have created next. Cold beer, wine, and mixed drinks make it a great place to refresh after a day at the beach. Modest prices too 👍🏻👍🏻

A local recommended this spot for authentic local cuisine, so we decided to give it a try. We ordered the pork binagoongan and pancit canton. While the flavours were rich, both dishes were a little too oily and salty for our liking.

Delicious Food, But Long Wait The food was really good—some of the best bulalo and binagoongan I’ve ever had! Flavorful and satisfying. However, the wait time was very long. We waited for almost an hour for our food, even though there was only one other table dining in the restaurant. That was a bit disappointing, especially since it wasn’t busy at all.

Me and my girlfriend went here several times in the past few days and they are always open and the staff are friendly. If you are looking for good quality local cuisine at a really good price then it's worth a look. We will no doubt eat here again in the next few days

We had dinner here and we ordered "bulalo". Bulalo is so good and the meat is so tender. We also ordered "kare kare" which tasted ok, but while we were eating many insects flew to the lights above us and other insects landed on our foods so we easily finished our meal.

BEWARE!!!!!! My wife and I ordered a noodle dish with vegetables and a choice of a meat, in which we chose chicken. It took about about 25min to come out, and when it did there was chicken bone throughout the entire meal, even through the noodles. There were random shards of bone without any meat even attached, scattered through the food. We also noticed there were blue pieces of plastic all through the food also. It's a shame as the noodles and veg tasted quite good. I would strongly avoid this restaurant or definately make sure you know what your ordering. The pile of food on the third plate on the left hand side was all the bone. You can see the blue pieces of plastic on the napkin.

The staff is really nice and speaks good English. We came here several times and had a mixed experience with the food we ordered. The tortang talong was good one day and not the best the next. The vegetarian curry is quite tasty! It's small though, and you need to order rice separately (20 pesos for a cup). Their spicy sauce is quite nice but really hot so be careful. They give you free water at the start of the meal -- that's how you know it's an authentic Filipino restaurant. Overall, it's worth trying. The food is okay and reasonably priced (for El Nido). But, just like most places in Palawan, vegetarian dishes cost more than ones with meat. Always ask about the ingredients as some dishes may seem vegetarian but contain shrimp paste.

Nice place to get a decent local taste. All dishes were tasty and prices are very reasonable to compare with the local benchmark. Had a great sizzling as well as a delicious seafood curry. Also the tuna with egg as a starter was a great choice. Recommend strongly.

I was at the other branch near Corong-Corong. The lady named Ara is one of the best person I know. She cooks very well and also has a very professional attitude towards customers. It was almost closing time but she took time to cook for them. Good Vegan selection as well as Vegetarian food. Their Super Bowls are amazing! 😘

Fresh fruit and taste good. Ambience. Place is cute and has a homey feel. You must take your shoes off to enter the establishment. Area is small, but the food comes out pretty quickly, helping with the rotation of people. Food. I ordered the mango, banana, and ginger smoothie one day. For breakfast, Smoothie bowl and avocado toast another day. All the food was fresh. If you do not like vegetarian food, it is a good place to stop for a smoothie on a hot day. Price. Overall good considering the quality.

After seeing the good reviews we really wanted to try this place. We took one peanut butter smoothie bowl each, but we were very disappointed. The bowl didn’t taste like peanut butter at all, and the topping was different from the menu. The smoothie was very warm. Also, the staff was stressed and unpolite. We would not recommend this place to anyone.

We had the butter chicken and chicken biryani, and maybe because we were so hungry, we finished them very quickly. The food was a bit salty, but it seems like dishes in this area are generally salty. Among the food we had in El Nido, this was pretty good.

I loveeee their Butter Chicken here! So flavorful and perfect to match with the rice or the plain naan. I prefer the Butter Chicken here. Cheese naan is full of cheese and so good but it has a bit of “umay” factor. I love how simple the plain naan is, perfect to dip to the butter chicken 😋 their naan are great for sharing too.

I recently visited Kitchen Biryani in El Nido, and it was such a pleasant surprise! I ordered the chicken biryani, and it was absolutely delicious — flavorful, aromatic, and perfectly spiced. The chicken was tender, and the portion size was generous, making it great value for money. The staff were warm and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The restaurant itself had a cozy and welcoming vibe, perfect for a casual meal after a day of exploring. Overall, Kitchen Biryani has become one of my favorite spots in El Nido for authentic, satisfying food. Highly recommended if you’re craving real biryani!

Visited this Indian restaurant that has good Biriyani options. We chose the Mutton Biriyani, and it was delicious. The meat was juicy, and the spices were perfect. However, the staff's behavior was not very welcoming. Overall, the food is good, but service could be better.

I ordered the non-veg thali and it was honestly shocking. Each curry was incredibly watery — more like flavored soup than a proper curry. One curry had absolutely nothing in it. Another had just two tiny pieces of chicken, both with bones. The third seemed to be a lentil and vegetable curry — not even non-veg, which completely defeats the purpose of ordering a non-vegetarian thali. Let’s be clear: • Curries should not be watery — they should be rich, flavorful, and thick enough to coat rice or bread. • A curry with bones and barely any meat is lazy and poor-quality — especially when served in tiny portions. • Tandoori chicken should be tender and juicy, not dry and hard like a rock. Mine was completely overcooked and impossible to enjoy. • A thali should not contain an empty curry with nothing in it. That’s just unacceptable. • While a lentil dish (dal) can be included, it shouldn’t be used to replace actual non-veg dishes in a non-veg meal. I rarely leave reviews like this, but the meal was such a disappointment that I felt people should be warned. For the price and the name of the dish, you expect quality, variety, and at least basic standards — this had none of that. I will not be returning.

Food quantity is worth the price. I didn’t see any indian chef there, local people were cooking and serving foods. As a Muslim my concern was if the food is halal? They ensure us its halal ( I really doubt if it is halal cuz only beef or chicken doesn’t fullfill the terms of " halal". It actually starts from how the chicken or beef are.cutting). Need to improve their ambiance. Employees are welcoming and well behaved.

Booked this gem during their promo period and I was so glad I did. I was lucky enough to have the 4-bed hostel all to myself for the 2/3 days that I stayed and it felt like I booked the entire room. The room was clean and the bed was a double, so imagine my surprise. Only downside was that time I was in the shower and there was no water so I had to improvise. Still, I was able to rinse off in the end. I was also happy that I had a free breakfast included in my booking, that way I no longer had to think where to eat early in the morning before the tours. The entire place, though a bit situated a few hundred meters from the town itself, it was perfect because it was not that busy. A perfect place tucked in the perfect paradise. The staff were so accommodating, they even booked my tricycle to the airport because I will be leaving early. Overall, if I were to solo travel again, would definitely book this hostel again and again and again.

I stayed at two other places in El Nido before coming to Spin (one hostel and one hotel), and Spin was by far the best choice — I even extended my stay. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made a big difference. They serve a very complete breakfast (considering that even a simple omelet in town costs around 220 PHP, this is a great value). The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained. On top of that, Spin makes everything super convenient by offering tours and scooter rentals directly at the hostel. The location is also perfect — close to the port, restaurants, and bars, but still quiet enough to relax. Definitely the place I would recommend in El Nido

One of the Best hostels in El Nido. Nice n clean rooms n toilets. The hospitality of the manager - Don & all the staff was great especially Tātā at the frontdesk was very kind and helpful. I really love the hostel. 10 on 10.

Nicely designed hotel with somewhat unconventional setup geared towards a young crowd of backpackers. Private rooms are small and “economical” with lots of light and a nice shower. My bed light didn’t work, the toilet had a leak at the bottom and the plasticky duvet came unhygienic without a duvet cover or flat sheet. The price clearly exceeds the spartan interior of the room despite the nice design elements and proximity to downtown.

I can give 10/10... the place is wonderful.. the staff are like family.. they take care of you fully .. when we visited there was a typhoon.. but staff Tata made our stay wonderful and memorable by offering us the best rooms... please contact her and she will go out of her way to help the customer..

We ordered pastas as we weren’t sure what size the pizzas were. Luckily we didn’t order the “Large” pizza as it was INSANELY big (made for 4 people easily). Pastas were nice. Got their special squid ink spaghetti which wasn’t what I was expecting, but it was delicious (more cheesy and garlicky than expected). You order at the front, CASH ONLY. Reasonable prices for the pasta and pizza given the giant sizes you can get for the pizza!

Ridiculously delicious pizza! Very busy restaurant. Every time my friend and I went here, there was no empty seating available and the way it works is that you find a seat and then order and pay for the pizza. On our next to last night we were determined to get a seat and try this pizza out! We spotted two empty seats next to two couples and finally our mission was accomplished. The pizza was incredible. I loved the taste! It was huge and quite a struggle to finish though we did eventually! Definitely recommend trying the pizza here!

We ordered lagre pizza as we were so hungry but didn’t know that large is very very large for 2 ppl. And they didn’t have the courtesy to advise us. The tiramisu is not good But the papaghanog is very good and the pasta as well.

The pizza was delicious. The crust was crispy, the cheese was good, and the toppings were fresh. I really enjoyed it. The waitress, Nanay Teresa, was very kind and welcoming. She served us with a warm smile and made us feel at home. Great service!

We had probably the biggest pizza I’ve ever seen a 24-inch Margherita! There were three of us and we barely managed to finish it. The quality was amazing, and I love how vegan-friendly the place is. Definitely coming back here again! Btw it’s my third time

Came here for the pure vegan cafe, which had tons of options. The owners of it are the same of taste cafe in town, so 2 of the dishes were the same but cavern had more options. We wanted the pizza but they didn't have it so couldn't dry it. opted for the power bowl and veggie burger and they were both delicious and filling. Would recommend more fans for the place, that's about it. Thank You to the amazing staff for serving us with such hospitality!

Fantastic design, nice and friendly staff, clean rooms! Food they serve is just mouth-watering! The vegan burger was just delicious. The only downside is that the shower was a bit dirty, broken and there was no warm water. Also the WiFi was very very poor, nearly non-existent, so don't recommend if that's your only source of connection.

Best restaurant in town. They have plenty of great vegan options available on their menu. We ended eating here for 3 days in the row. The vegan burger is to die for. They don't sell beer, but you can bring your own. The staff is really efficient and friendly.

The best hostel/hotel I've stayed in while on my travels! The staff are amazing and so friendly! Always gave us tips when we needed them! Coffee and the food were the best, the beds are so comfortable!! THE SAUCE!!! you'll know what I mean if you visit!

Maybe one of the best hostel designs I've ever seen. Great attention to details and a lot of things taken in to account while designing the place. Clean beds and well designed sleeping quarters, our room had 2 bunk beds, private shower /toilet and a changing room. Luggage storage was also well designed, you won't wake up because of the noise from that so easily. I do find the name of the place to be a bit weird. Cafeteria prices also a bit upscale. Wifi was really fast when working (the signal could hardly reach our room thou). Few cons: Location is not in the El Nido town, but still not that far away from it. We found the place to be a bit expensive and the breakfast was not even included in the basic price.

Lovely place, ideal for someone who wants to be away from the busyness but still close enough to everything. Very clean,staff is lovely. They offer coffee and food there,like a little cafe its a bit pricey but giod coffee, they also offer soya milk)(however as I said I found their cup size is too small(its my personal preference as I am used to large cups of coffee and price for it is a bit high) however the actual hostel is awesome. Rooms are clean and spacious, you ll have lockers and towels provided. Staff are great. Just maybe in the evening they should do something to get everyone together and have fun.but overall definitely worth it.thank you

Awesome hostel! So clean and spacious. I stayed in 4 bed dorm there was even a changing room in the room and a hairdryer! Only 50php into el nido on trike. Wish I had found it sooner. Highly recommend:)

I'm happy they're open again! 😁 (Went here on 07-Jun) We ordered Carnitas Oaxaca and Cochinitas Al Pastor tacos 👌🏻 The pink drink in the photo is the Frieda Kahlo margarita. The place was still on soft opening during our visit, so they only accept cash. I would have wanted to try the churros for dessert 🥺 but I was full already after my 3rd taco. Would be more fun to eat here in a group so that you could order more taco flavors, share, and get to try them all 😀

Small portions, besides the three tacos. The local salad was really disappointing, you will expect more on your plate for 380 pesos. The chili con carne was a bit too dry and sweet. I liked the vegetarian tacos best, but the dressing was too intense. I scraped it off Service charge of 5% but why🤷

Was looking forward to trying this place based on the good reviews here. Although the food was nicely plated and served promptly, it just lacked on big mexican flavours and seasoning. Was looking forward to the cheesy nachos but it wasn't really cheese, just some kind of white milky, fridge cold white sauce. Weird. Fish tacos OK, although fish a bit sad and soggy. Would not recommend the veggie tacos. Super bland

We might have caught this place on an off day or something but this was not good. The cocktails were ok and the service was good, but the food was not. Everything was quite bland and tasteless and missed out on Mexican flavors in general. Basic seasoning and spices lacking. The guacamole was not made out of avocado (maybe a little, but very little in that case), but on green peas. Understand if avocado is hard to get, but then 86 the guacamole and say you have a green pea salsa instead, instead of selling it as guacamole. The white sauce, some kind of aioli looking thing, split within minutes as well. Not sure what it was - we asked for sour creme but got this.

Nachos were disappointing--stale chips. Meat was okay but toppings overall were very sparse. Forgot to snap photos of our burritos but we had the Al Pastor and Chili Con Carne burritos. They didn't come with cheese and we were told we couldn't add cheese. They were pretty good sized burritos but didn't have a lotta taste/flavor, although they did come with some guacamole and Chipotle mayo type of sauce. The best part of the burritos was probably the seemingly home-made burritos wrap itself, which reminded me of Naan, which I quite liked. Great service.

It opened recently but this is the place to go in Corong Corong if you want a real coffee and an early, delicious breakfast (see menu in the photos). It opens at 7am and you have many choices, such as healthy sandwiches and smoothie bowls. We would gladly return to this place - the staff, the food and the owner are all awesome! (They also serve late afternoon and evening meals, but we have only visited in the morning. )

Very nice Mexican place! Food was excellent! I got the tacos and they were great but a little small to be super filling after a hard day of snorkeling. Others in my group got burritos and those looked more filling!

First this place is far from many other place but I would go to it in a heartbeat. First, because I'm a sucker for Inasal Chicken and they cooked theirs with the right amount of char while maintaining the juicyness of the chicken. Second, the people are good souls that make you feel like you're visiting a distant relative. Finally, the vibe of the place with their tokens and mementos gave it a unique vibe. You might have to contract a tricycle to take you there, wait for you, then take yoy back but for me it's worth it. It's a story of its own.

"Best Filipino food I've ever eaten dad." And that's coming from a Pinoy born and raised in the PH!!! He's not lying though. My gad, food was soooo good. And the rice!!! Like a meal in itself! So tasty and yummy!! Everything was really so good. Everything!! "Maybe they have a magic pan dad." Maybe nga. Vibe was super awesome. Exactly what one would look for in a beach town - a bit out of the way, by the main road, owner-operated with very local island eclectic vibes but very clean and comfy. And unique!! Whatta place.

I wasn’t planning on eating or buying drinks since I was already too full from my breakfast, but I passed by this shop and suddenly got so thirsty!! I just had to get my favorite guyabano juice! I also love their batchoy, which reminds me of my trip to Iloilo. I wanted to try more food, but I was so full with their big serving. They honestly have some of the best sisig, inasal, and fried chicken. Manang is so warm and welcoming, and I love that the place is very pet friendly.🫶

We found this spot on Google Maps and decided to take a chance on it, and it did not disappoint 🥹🥹!! The inasal was really good, and their juices were so refreshing (we tried the mango-calamansi and their house blend iced tea, both delicious). The owners were super friendly, and we even got to chat with a few other people from the restaurant. You can really feel the El Nido community vibe here. Definitely worth the try!!

Amazing food and service! We checked into a nearby villa and asked to have the food delivered--they agreed despite the slightly difficult road. Our orders came to us still hot, the fish grilled perfectly, and the chicken was very crispy. Prices are reasonable and the serving sizes are pretty hefty. Thanks guys!

Kape ni Manang is a must-visit when you’re in El Nido! Growing up in an Ilonggo household, their food instantly reminded me of home — rich, comforting, and full of flavor. It’s the kind of Filipino food that warms your heart and makes you feel cared for with every bite. If you want to experience the real taste of the Philippines, this is the place to go. Every dish is cooked with love and tradition, and the beverage selection is just as amazing — from refreshing fresh juices and teas to their signature kape (coffee), always brewed to perfection. Just the best place we’ve been to in the Philippines! Run by lovely people, great drinks, fantastic Filipino coffee, and the food is to die for. Get the Shanghai Lumpia and the chicken inasal (grilled chicken) you won’t regret it

Did not disappoint. The view. Amazing. Ordered apps, salad, and filet. All prepared perfectly. Matched with sparkling, white, and bottle of red. The road is a little bumpy and hard to find but so worth it when you get here. If you're in El Nido and want an amazing view, food and drinks. This is the place Btw, I recommend calling the resort and arranging a car. Not tuk tuk ride.

Absolutely stunning views - and we had the place almost to ourselves in low season. The service is incredible, everyone is SUPER attentive. And the food - insane. I had the bruschetta sampler and it was a delight with every mouthful.

Unbelievable view spot in el nido, arguably the best. You get a 360 view of the island and the beach. We went for sunset and it was incredible. Drinks and food were both on point. Would say make sure you call and make a reservation as we didn’t and you aren’t allowed into the resort unless you have one. The security were lovely and called the restaurant to see if there was space but could have been avoided easily.

Henri’s at Lihim Resort is worth the ride up for the fantastic view of El Nido. From the gate at the entrance of Lihim, they’ll call in a vehicle to bring you up to the restaurant. Be sure to have made reservations. We started with the Salmon Ceviche which had capers, capsicum, and Bird’s Eye chili. The salmon was chunkier than expected but the flavors were vibrant and refreshing. The Japanese Scallops served with basil, risotto, and caviar were a highlight, each bite tasting rich and decadent. We also enjoyed the Quattro Formaggi pizza with mozzarella, cheddar, parmesan, and gorgonzola, a delicious mix of cheeses that balanced beautifully. With attentive service and an incredible setting, Henri’s delivers both in food and experience.

Just the best!!! Great service. Good food, great drinks! Happy hour til 8pm drink all the cocktails you can handle for 900 peso. I think they have live music every night. The acoustic set from Sascha on the day we went was incredible. The view needs no comments. You can no longer driver yourself to Henri’s by bike. Thank the Lord. The hills are serious. There is a free shuttle from the security booth.

Henri's place rooftop is in my opinion the best sunset spot in El Nido! The service was perfect and the food was incredible. Kudos to Richard the handsome kuya. Don't be scared to book a car service can bring you up there. We definitely I'll come back to forge new memories.

This is one of the busiest cafes I have ever visited. It offers great coffee, delicious food, and a stunning view. I recommend arriving early to secure the best seat and enjoy the scenery since it is always crowded. Watching the barista and staff prepare your food and coffee is quite entertaining.

One of the best cafes in the Philippines that I’ve been to. It was perfect during the off-peak season (September) in El Nido in which there’s only a few tourist dining in and I basically had the entire al fresco area all to myself. The iced matcha and the brownie I enjoyed complemented the breathtaking view in front of me.

Hama has one of the best views in El Nido town! I had their Spanish coffee and it was absolutely delicious — rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced. The view alone makes it worth the visit; you get a stunning panoramic scene right from your seat. At ₱180 for a hot Spanish latte, it’s definitely worth every sip.

The view is as beautiful as I tried their Beef tapa (tapsilog) and Pineapple Punch, matched with their warm and very attentive service. Definitely, A must try when you visit El Nido. Plus their food and drinks were safe.

📍ʜᴀᴍᴀ ᴄᴏꜰꜰᴇᴇ ᴇʟ ɴɪᴅᴏ - Located right across the hotel I was waiting for a less busy day at Hama Coffee for breakfast, and what a delight it turned out to be! I skipped the coffee this time around and went straight for a comforting Silog meal, simple, yet exactly the kind of breakfast you can’t help but crave any day. Paired it with a zesty calamansi juice. Hama is busy, every single day, and for good reason. It’s one of those cafés where the energy matches the view: the sound of waves just a few steps away, baristas hustling behind the counter, and travelers squeezing in early to snag the best seats overlooking the sea. Service was quick and friendly despite the crowd, and while the seating isn’t made for long lounging, it’s perfect for enjoying a meal with that stunning beachfront backdrop.

Very yummy and filling breakfast. We ordered Full Filipino Breakfast which came with all the silog favourites and the tapsilog. Masarap at busog lusog! Coffee is good too!

Wasnt able to take a photo of the croissant but it was the best so far. the view is the main reason why people get here as early as 7am. The best in the whole stretch in El Nido. Al Kapa was also okay but not comparable to this

Absolutely loved this place! The restaurant is super cozy with such a welcoming atmosphere. They offer plenty of vegetarian and vegan options, and both breakfast and dinner were absolutely delicious fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The service was outstanding, very friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a spot with amazing food, great vibes, and excellent service.

The omelette for breakfast was amazing and surprised us, that made us to come again for dinner with the choice of burger, didn’t disappoint us either. Great atmosphere of dining area on the second floor. Great service and fluent English waiter and waitresses. We also tipped them well for their great effort, definitely will come back again if we visit El Nido again. Thank you!

Family friendly cafe that serves delicious food and drinks and is great for hanging out as they have board games. Our son had their homemade tocino which he finished fast, husband had a chicken burger while I had the veggie one—two of the best we’ve had— we love their brioche buns! Definitely bang for our buck!

Just had an amazing experience at Blend and Grind! 🍳 The ambiance is so cozy and intimate, feels like a hidden gem in the city. I ordered the Nutella crepe and it was TO DIE FOR - crispy edges, fluffy inside, and oozing with chocolatey goodness 🍫👌. Paired it with a banana milkshake that was creamy and indulgent. Highly recommend Blend and Grind for a chill breakfast or brunch spot. 5/5 stars ⭐️👍 Let me know if you'd like any changes!

I had an amazing experience at Blend and Grind! The burger was absolutely delicious 🤤😋perfectly grilled patty, juicy and flavorful, layered with melted cheese, fresh veggies, and a slice of pineapple that added the perfect sweet-savory balance. The bun was soft yet held everything together really well, making every bite satisfying. The house-made chips on the side were golden, crispy, and addictive, It's a great upgrade from the usual fries. Paired with their dip, it completed the meal perfectly. Not only was the food top-notch, but the presentation was also on point. You can tell a lot of care goes into every detail here. Definitely a spot worth visiting if you want comfort food done right. Highly recommend!

Good drinks (smoothie and coffee), but the food is not good - at least not the smashed avo that I had. The gucamole did not look/taste fresh and the egg just had a weird smell. They gave me a free coffee when I told them this which is of course very nice of them, but just too bad with the food EDIT AFTER RESPONSE: Your response, in my opinion, has nothing to do with the quality of the food. My personal prefence about a situation like this is to talk to the waiters about the food afterwards. Because, as I said when I went to pay for my second coffee, I didn’t say it to get anything free at all, but to let you know for future reference. And fyi I didn’t order for takeaway, I thought I needed to order at the bar, which is also besides the point. I stand by that the food was not good and I don’t feel the need to continue to defend why and how. So no thank you on the whatsapp conversation. Have a good day 😊

The food at this place is truly hit or miss. The starters we had were an absolute disaster—the tempura in the fish and chips was oddly sweet, and the chips were just store-bought instead of proper fries. The seafood tacos were overly spicy and barely had any seafood flavor. However, the main courses were incredible! The crispy chicken sandwich and the chicken teriyaki with fried rice were both outstanding. The shakes are also fantastic!

The drinks are good as I remember. The nachos have changed. I remember liking them when I first tried it last year. The vibe was still good though plus the DJ was really good. But the nachos are not the same. 🥲

Got to be the 2nd best meal in el nido ( Gorgonzola 1st). Food is served fresh and hot. Must get the angus smash burger and cassava cake for dessert! ++ excellent beachside atmosphere

I think I just had the best pork sisig of my life. It was delicious, crunchy, and savory. Dining here with the sunset is a great time to relax and unwind. Ambiance is amazing.

Nice views of the beach, unfortunately average food. Presentation of the food was great but the quality of the meat on the BBQ ribs wasn’t the best, and the mashed potatoes were fairly bland. Definitely experienced some better meals in El Nido and the Philippines. However the staff was lovely and the general views were nice.

I’ve tried falafel in so many places, but nothing beats the falafel here in El Nido! This place is an absolute gem. The falafel is crispy on the outside, perfectly seasoned, and soft on the inside—exactly how it should be. The Beef Kebab is also a must-try; it’s juicy and packed with flavor. Plus, the cozy atmosphere and prime location at Brgy, Buena Suerte, right by the H Hotel Building, make it the perfect spot to grab a bite. Highly recommend this place if you’re in town!

Took them 20 minutes to prepare my chicken schwarma. It came out so soggy and they tried to hide it by using 2 wraps. I couldn’t even eat it because it just fell apart. The meat had no flavor and the service was terrible.

First off, it’s right above the gusto gelato, I was wandering down an alley following Apple Maps. (My fault.) As you have probably gathered by now, most cocktails in Asia fall short. Not here. My wife and I had a whisky sour, and 2 signature cocktails (honey highball and the pangolin). Absolutely great atmosphere, great bartenders and phenomenal drinks. If you like good cocktails, look no further.

This bar was recommended to me aside from my favorite one, and it didn’t disappoint! Super cute that they give free shots before you even enter, plus they have a coin flip game where you can win free drinks. I got to try their best seller the pineapple with toasted sugar on top// The Pangolin!! and it was a total bomb! You can really tell the drinks are thoughtfully made, not just thrown together. Love that they use Giffard syrup too!

Great spot to pop into the AC and watch the world go by! Good music, good vibes. I went here every night here in El Nido since I discovered it… I spied a gent sipping on a glass of Chardonnay in the streets below like he was the top dog of them all, what a random Gem 💎

Had the worst experience with one of entitled clientele of this bar. We loved the vibe and the DJ was on point with the greatest beats. But my partner was targeted by the locals and called unacceptable derogatory names and we were marched out by security. We were there for a good time and enjoyed ourselves until this incident was imposed upon us for no good reason. So 1 star.

We had a great time dining at Jinjer restaurant during our stay at Cadlao resort. The drinks were especially very nice, the mango shake/daiquiri was so fresh. I enjoyed the food and the music they played was very fitting for the overall ambience. The real stars of the show are the staff who provided exceptional service. They were so professional, kind, and helpful. Special thanks to Miel and Francis! You both stood out to me so much in your ability to connect with guests like us and giving us important food and water safety tips during our stay in El Nido, even going above and beyond to give recommendations for our next stops in the Philippines. We didn’t stay at the resort, but returned often for the amazing food at JINJER restaurant. Young chef using fresh local ingredients. Also a big thank you to all the staff who were friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. Beautiful views too! Can’t ask for more than that. The highlight of our stay at El Nido.

The most wonderful birthday dinner for my partner. Definitely the best food we had in El Nido. The Filipino ceviche was delectable and the beef short rib was incredibly tender and flavourful. Compliments to the chef! The service was also perfect! It is expensive but 100% worth it for a special occasion!

Eating in Jinjer Restaurant is the highlight of our stay in Cadlao El Nido Resort. We wish we could have tried everything in their menu because everything we had left us in awe. Their dishes are so wildly creative and thoughful in incorporating and marrying local flavors that guests will surely come back for more. Cannot stress enough how highly we recommend this one. Hats off to Chef Pow! 🙌🏻

I never make time to write reviews but this place is worth the effort. Ambience is perfect. It is by the beach and you will hear the waves while enjoying Filipino dishes with a special personal twist by the chef. There are other entrees to try too but we enjoyed the Wonton Laing and vegetable spring roll for appetizer. Loved the oxtail karekare, caldereta, tuna covered with banana leaves. The turmeric lava cake and cheesecake is a must try. And I had the calamansirita with every meal ; ) If you’re not sure which one to try, Francis is awesome and will help you out.

Amazing! Can’t recommend more! We were lucky enough to be staying here and because the food was so good we ate here many times over the last week. If you are not staying here then it’s worth coming out for, the hotel has a free tuktuk that picks you up from town center as well. The staff are all incredible, especially Francis who repeatedly went above and beyond to treat us like royalty! The food is incredible and most items could be made gluten free upon request. The staff were very knowledgeable on gluten allergies and very helpful to make adjustments so that I could try many of the amazing dishes. You need to eat here, the view is also stunning!

We stayed in a hotel next door and decided to come in have dinner. What an amazing sunset watching spot. The food was amazing. Service i would say the best I've had in el nido so far. Also the buy one get one free cocktails just a bonus (by 6 pm). Me and my boyfriend really enjoyed there. The cat in the resort was also super cute. Would definitely visit again! ☺️

I tried the ice cream called Ube, which is made from a fruit I’ve never had before, so it had a unique flavor. The mango ice cream, however, was absolutely delicious. Worth trying!

Gusto Gelato in El Nido is a real treat. I ordered a scoop of vanilla and it was so creamy and flavorful every spoonful was pure delight 🤤. They have a wide variety of flavors to choose from so there’s something for everyone. Cozy atmosphere and friendly service make it a must visit on the island for gelato lovers.

This is not Italian-inspired gelato at all – it tastes more like cheap, factory-made ice cream. It’s seriously overpriced at around ₱120 per scoop. The flavours are average at best, and I’ve had better from the supermarket. On top of that, the staff didn’t even fill the cup properly for the three scoops I paid ₱260 for. Really disappointing and not worth coming back!! Stay away from this so called “Gelato” joint!!

We swung by this place a few times and decided to give their gelato and coffee a try. The staff were super friendly and fun. The music they had on are spot on which made our experience better. The prices were pretty fair, but the taste was just average, nothing mind-blowing. Unfortunately, when we went to grab our coffee to go, they were out of lids. Overall, it's a decent spot if you're in the mood for a casual gelato and coffee fix.

Tried this last minute before leaving el nido, as some people say it is a must try, but i think they also have a branch in manila, but to complete the el nido exp, we tried one scoop of white choco and sakted caramel, it tastes like a normal ice cream, for a price of 200 i think its too expensive, well everything is expensive in el nido 😂

Great delicious food.The best beach view & a cosy place to chill out. Wide variety of foods to choose from pasta, pizza, thai and local delights. This place gets too crowded in the evening. Make sure to be early for the happy hour cocktails 1for1 deal.

Eating filipino food for days we were craving for a taste of home, so we went here. The restaurant is lovely, beautiful view from upstairs and the service was great, really nice and trying their best to be accommodating. We ordered the Eggplant Starter and the organic garden salad as a Starter. Both were amazing. For the mains we ordered pastas (vongole, frutti di mare and salmone). The seafood pasta were a little bit too salty for our taste. Apparently the saltiness is authentic South Italian recipe and not over salted for their taste. but it's still deliciously the most authentic Italian we ate in Palawan and at least they use sea salt and natural salts from the mussels instead of table salt.

It's a very nice italian restaurant! You can enter without your shoes it's unusual but it makes the place unique. The staff is very polite and I liked the food: the pizza ( quatro formaggie ) was amazing! At the first floor the terrace is right next to the sea it's nice surrounding! Highly recommend!

The food drinks and atmosphere are excellent. The menu is a bit limited and expensive but you get the quality that you're paying for. The restaurant also does not open for dinner until 6 but you can come in early for happy hour drinks. There is also lunch which is limited to Pizza and Pasta menu.
