Amazing food and great vibe where many locals gather. Love the foie gras toast and sea urchin, the octopus is really fresh with a creamy sauce. The cod in tomato salad is also a must try. The food was so good that I forgot to take photos for many dishes. The Rojo beer is an amber beer that goes really well with the dishes. Can also try the Rioja wines for pairing. It may get crowded later in the evening, best is to go around 6 or 7pm before the crowd gathers.

Visited this place a few weeks ago with some friends, it’s was recommended by many must-visit Pamplona lists on the internet. It was good but it didn’t blow my mind. Food is good, but nothing stood out for my taste. The best thing was their chistorra croquet! If you want to have a couple of beers and a quick bite with some friends I would recommend it.

Great vibes, great pintxos, great time. 🤩 Café Bar Gaucho is one of those places that makes you understand why pintxos are such a big deal in Pamplona. The variety is amazing and everything we tried was delicious: the poached egg with mushroom truffle sauce, the octopus, the stuffed sea urchin, the beef… and our absolute favorite, the foie gras pintxo — so good we had it twice!😋 The place gets packed, so going early is the best way to get a table. You can also stand at the bar or grab one of the high tables outside. Even if there’s a queue, I think it’s totally worth the wait. Honestly, the lively atmosphere is part of the charm, perfect for enjoying with friends and drinks. The staff is super fast and friendly, keeping everything moving smoothly even when it’s crowded. For me, it’s an easy 5 stars in the pintxos bar category — fun, tasty, and one of the must-visit spots in Pamplona.

Bar Gaucho is Pamplona at its best, buzzing atmosphere, quick and friendly service, and pintxos worth crossing the city for. The huevo trufado is rich, creamy, and decadent, while the grilled foie gras is perfectly seared and melts in your mouth. Grab a spot at the bar, order a few at a time, and enjoy the chaos.

Awesome place for pintxos and drinks. They have items from the kitchen not displayed in the counter as well. The mushroom/egg/stick fries item looks/sounds so weird but OMG one of the best egg dishes i have had. Practically right off the bull run path. The lady doesnt speak much english but she tries and makes a great experience.

service was good and friendly , regardless of the preasure placed by the amount of people placing orders. the food was outstanding, and the wine suggestion was proper. However I was surprised that food was warmed up in a microwave oven,.specialy that some of the pintxos could be eaten at room temperature. another option would be a salamander to heat some.of the food, but over all , it is a highly recomended culinary experience. the bet time is to.get there a mid day food has just been prepared and there are not many people, or around 7pm.,.

What I had: Grilled foie gras on toast, creamy, smoky and unapologetically luxurious. The truffled egg pintxo, rich, silky and blessed with gentle truffle perfume. Cod in a basket with egg, croquettes, a lasagna style tuna layer and a truffle infused mousse, each plate a surprise and each flavour hitting exactly where it should. Wine and vermouth that feel effortlessly local, glasses that slide into your evening like old friends. The atmosphere is unpretentious, warm and buzzing with energy. It is a place where curiosity invites the best flavours and every dish feels like a high five to your taste buds. Bar Gaucho is not just a go to, it is a heart stealer.

This was a great experience. Located right at the center of Plaza Castillo in Pamplona, café Iruña will attend to your cravings for traditional hearty food, with a five star service and a dazzling atmosphere. Everything was great, from the entrée to the dessert, passing by the fish, meat and salads. Price is fair, it's not so busy at lunch, but for dinner better make a reservation (or just come early, Spaniards like to have dinner after 9). A must go if you're ever by Navarres capital.

A stunning original cafe where Hemingway was a patron. The rich interior is enchanting and the mirrored wall reflect the lights and decor of the large space. We were a large group having sangria and pinchos so the service was fast and not individualized but that was ok. The pinchos were delicious.

One of the oldest coffee shops in Spain. I was looking for the perfect Spanish Con Leche, then they gave me the most understated one. A stunning original cafe where Hemingway was a patron. I can smell the history here.

Sangria is good, but service is pretty bad. We got some food and were not able to take a table inside. The waiters insisted that the children eat from plates while standing, despite the fact that only a few tables out of 30 was occupied outside. The bread on the pintxos is very dry.

Nice surprise. This is a café to remember. I liked the well-maintained historical interior. I enjoyed coffe and rum. The staff was very nice.

Very nice service. Starters were amazing. Also the dessert. Unfortunately the main dish not so. We were 4. We ordered 2 steaks for 2. One more raw and one medium. They've made one raw for 4 they said. And asked of it was ok. Was not because the steak was too small for 4 people and we were hungry. It was nice they gave us another smaller obe because of our complaints. I had to say it could be better. We've heard so much good about it. We've paid 70€ each. It was not worth the price by far.

Fantastic and unexpected! We were looking for a place to have lunch and just picked a spot based on reviews. We are so glad we chose Anttonenea! We had two wonderful bacalao dishes, and shared a salad along with a great rioja. All was exceptional. We adored our lovely server, Nay, who took great care of us and treated us very well. We will be back!!

Hands down one of the most amazing culinary experiences I’ve ever had. We did the tasting menu and you truly cannot go wrong with any of the dishes. Food was exquisite and service was great. Highly recommend!

Amazing lunch here yesterday… tables for one (walk in) are not normally welcome but they made room for me (a table for 4 just for me) even though they had lots of bookings (I got the last table in fact). The quality of attention and service was… well… amazing, utterly charming, made me feel truly welcome. Then came the food… from the olives (in their homemade marinade) and the ‘gift’ apero (croqueta de gambas with a citrus infused mayonnaise), by way of alcachofas confitadas lightly grilled and with foam of lemon and chopped spring onions and a couple of plump delicately steamed mussels, to the fish of the day, lomo de bonito a la parilla, cooked to perfection, sliced potatoes (lightly roasted) and a delicate citrusy sauce on the side and ending with a spectacular thin apple tart with Idiazabal icecream with membrillo… fabulous! Shame I am here for only a couple of days! Will try and go back for lunch on my last day. Highly recommended…

Incredible. Pinchos were stunning! Wished I could have had one of everything they were that good. As an Australian on the Camino, sadly, my Spanish is deplorable, but they still made me feel welcome and we got by. The vino was also outstanding. Do not pass up an opportunity to partake here. You will not be disappointed.

The food here is bomb! (Californian for really good). Great flavors, wide variety of options, and best of all they're well executed. We enjoyed the ongo (champi) croquettes, the scallop and cheese dish, (reminded us of clam chowder from San Francisco), and the caña was really nice too. Hopefully we'll be back! €15 for 4 plates and a caña after a tip. Fair prices.

It’s our Oasis in San Fermin. A civilized place surrounded by an adorable caos. Great food prepared in an exquisite way, first quality products. Served by a friendly and profesional staff. Deserves much more than 1 Michelin star. Thank you for a great evening. Looking forwards to our next visit.

The experience was very rushed. Our reservation was for 15.15 given by restaurant for the tasting menu, the courses came extremely fast, when we asked to slow down we were told the kitchen closed at 15.15 same time we were booked, one of the appetisers noted on the menu was omitted. We said no to mussel on one of appetisers yet it was served. Unfortunately I have a severe allergy. We were frequently left with empty glasses both wine and water. Overall the food was of a high standard but the service and ambience were not commensurate with other Michelin star tasting menus we have enjoyed,

One of my favourite restaurants! My wife and I, as many times before when visiting Pamplona, enjoyed a wonderful meal, served by amazing staff. The place is reasonably quiet, on a first floor.

Weekday lunch menu was good, very traditional food.

Not sure how they get a Michelin star. The food is fine but it's not haute cuisine. When I compare this to other one starred restaurants that I know, there is no comparison.

We are giving 4 out of 5 star coz of two things: Decoration and the "fast service"(too fast), they even were waiting to take the last piece of meat to clean my dish up and bring the next one, dessert came exactly 20sec later we finish the last dish. Apart from this two little things, food was very good, staff super kind and value for price amazing. Probably one of the bedt we tried. We will come back.

When visiting Pamplona this place is a must-visit! The first day I arrived in Pamplona I visited their bar for a quick bit and had very good pinchos (their famous bomb looking one included)! Most of what I tried was delicious! A couple of days later I made reservations for dinner with a group of friends and we were all surprised with the quality of the food and service! Make sure you try their steak and the slow cooked beef ribs, these two dishes are incredible!!!! I will keep this one in my rotation every time I visit Pamplona!!!

In the heart of Pamplona, this place stole my heart. The food was of high quality, and they were nice enough to offer an item not on their menu just because I was craving some greens. Their wine selection is also extensive and the staff will help you find the right one. All in all, it was a very positive experience

Wow what a great experience. The 5 pasos tasting menu was a wonderful way to experience all the great flavors this place has to offer. The service was superb from the wine recommendation accompanied with a story about the winery through all the 5 courses and down to the chupito at the end. Loved it all

We eat here twice, once in the bar, once in the restaurant. Our preference would be to eat in the bar. The restaurant lacked atmosphere & the staff were more formal Their ceviche tapa (€4.20) was my tapa of our Pamplona week They also had a fab chicken gyoza tapa that was my partner’s tapa of the week. He was also a big fan of the potato bravas (€10)

After spending 10 days eating my way through Northern Spain, I can confidently say that Baserriberri in Pamplona served me the very best pintxos of the entire trip. Every single bite was bursting with creativity, flavour, and pure joy. If you come here, don’t overthink it, just order all of their special pintxos. Every one of them is a masterpiece, beautifully crafted and absolutely delicious. Each dish feels like a small work of art, both in presentation and taste, and they truly deliver on the “wow” factor.

Amazing food! Started with vermouth and immediately left me looking forward to my food. The cerviche was incredible and the horsemeat ball was enjoyable. The dumpling was alright.

We where a bit early on a Wednesday, still managed to try some great food and wine.

I would rate 4 stars on food and 3 on service.  It seems that they change the menu weekly, since some last week  Instagram  post showing some dishes were not available.  One example of why I rate it 3 stars on service is that I asked for a Tuna Tataki, the waiter mention that they ran out of it and quickly continue with the next table.  He did not suggest any other option, nor give me time to ask.  A few minutes later  I called him to ask for other options as Tuna Tartare, which they had.

Something for everyone. Quality ingredients with some plates better than others. Fast attentive service at the time we went.

First of all the atmosphere is very nice it is a modern looking restaurant. Prices I would say a bit higher than moderate but the price quality racio is very good. Food is very delicious and quality. Evening menu is 36 euros including bread, wine and coffee. We went on with the Carta. Tuna tataki, carpaccio and Vietnamese spring roles was very delicious. And as dessert tiramisu which was quite good and abtype of cak other coconut ice cream. All recommended. Together with beer and water it is 64 euors.

WAUW!!! What an amazing place! We orders two day menus for only 30 euros per person!! Which included a bottle of water and a glas of wine. The food was of really good quality and the waiters where very professional and kind.

Great place to eat. Very good quality and a great wine list. I ordered ‘fideuá’ and I loved it. We taste the white wine Orchidea and it was an excellent choice. The restaurant is quiet and very relaxed atmosphere.

Absolutely amazing food with a friendly atmosphere and great service! All allergens are marked on the menu, including gluten, lactose, soya, etc. I mentioned that gluten was extra important for me and the waiter immediately took careful note of this and let the kitchen know. We ordered a starter and a main course each, and were advised that that was too much food. Very honest of them, and they were definitely right as the portions are generous! The food was truly amazing and we very much enjoyed our evening.

When you hear a lot about the pintxos of Pamplona, this is the place where you mus meet them. Very nice and attentive service from the staff. Despite being super busy on a Sunday at lunchtime, it's a pretty clean establishment. Anytime I go back to Pamplona, I'll definitely make a visit here again.

It was Sunday and after Mass at the cathedral we went to this place based on the online ratings. When we walked the boss/owner didn't welcome us; he just sat there. A man behind the bar did. And we asked if we could sit at one of the free tables (with tablecloth, that whole section was open) and he said OK but we could only order from the menu. We said that was fine. But then the boss/owner said no. We would have left but a regular table freed up and we were hungry. We ordered 4 things (including the gambas al ajillo which were dry). We went to another place nearby and had a great time and great food. I wouldn't recommend this place. Go to Bar Gaucho instead.

A must do! Small dishes, iberican ham, loads of small delicious toasts! I love it! You may not understand what the dishes are made of, just try them! Ask their recommendations, you’re gon’a be surprised. I strongly recommend.

Fantastic experience Walked by this place while walking to the main square. The place was packed and decided to comeback after checking out the town. Although we came back almost an hour later, the palace was still full; we decided to try our luck and found our way in. We had no idea how things worked, since everyone inside had a drink and tapas, but it wasn't clear who was waiting on anyone. That's when Iñaki spotted us and came from behind the counter. He quickly explained how things worked out and offered to take care of us. Waited until a spot on one of the community tables opened up and sat ourselves. From that moment on, we were able to enjoy one of our best meals in Spain. Food was great, but Iñaki made our evening truly memorable.

I ordered stew for 26 euros. It contained tasteless grave and the smallest fries ever. It was noisy. So overpriced, there are better places to find in Pamplona.

A regular pintxos (small bites) place, mix service, we got one good and one bad server. Initially the waiter said I need to order at the bar but then another server mentioned that they can take the order from the table.

My siblings and I were very lucky to find this restarurant on a very busy Saturday, without a reservation and every other place packed. We waited a little bit to be seated and were very pleased with the service, the quality of the food and the atmosphere. We were seated in a lovely cozy corner and had the greatest time while eating delicious food and drank an amazing red wine.

We had a wonderful dinner. Went for a quick dish and the place didn’t disappoint. All the dishes we got were really good and the service was amazing. The steak is one of the best one we’ve gotten in the region. Oxtail was super tender and the squid really tasty. Would recommend and come again. Just a little pricy in our opinion but again the food was really astonishing.

Our first night at Pamplona, decided to have dinner at La Olla! We were very impressed! At a restaurant when you get great food, great service and wonderful atmosphere with all attention from everyone works there then you’re at the right place! Food was over the top yummy and our server ( Vera ) was amazing! The manager kept on checking on us and other tables!

Great attention to detail, flawless service. The kitchen is open all day — a bonus for those of you who like to dine early.

I would like to mention the service has been excellent and the waitress and chefs explained us all plates really well. In terms of food; until the desserts it was really good just one plate was not good for us. The desserts were a bit disappointing as they tasted too sweet and simple, all of them. The restaurant has a basic decoration and glasses and cutleries are clean and being changed every time. The overall price 211€ 2 people, from my view and the context of the restaurant plus location is a bit expensive. 90€ the menu. Less plates and less expensive will have a better quality vs value. One good point is that most of the plates are local ones. I hope desserts will be improved!

Nice presentation of every dish and the service was excellent. The restaurant has a warm and classy interior and I liked that many of the dishes were vegetarian. The price is great for such a high standard. I recommend this place.

Oh, not so good… premium wine pairing included 9 tastes (sips) of 9 lowest value National and International varieties. 3 of 6 matched or elevated the dishes. 12 is the date. The premier ingredient served was a Haake fish that the chef swore he paid 25€/kg… we were not impressed and with a diabetic partner, we cannot eat 5 of 14 dishes of dessert. We left after the Haake.

Amazing culinary experience in Pamplona. We had the “Metamorphosis experience”, where the mixture of flavours and exquisite wines are served with a personal touch from the owner Jaoine. Beautifully presented dishes and homemade bread in the 60€, 9 plate menu (wine is separate, but tasty). The most flavorful main course was the costilla de cerdo and the mango ice cream was the best dessert. Everything looks incredible - they clearly put a lot of time into designing every plate, but the flavors weren't all as interesting as the looks. I'd give a 4.5/5 if it were an option, but a 4 is simply too low. Nevertheless, it was a lunch to remember :)

Incredible culinary experience at Kabo. Amazing display of talent and know-how in terms of customer service, attention to details and, most importantly, haute cuisine. Aaron and his team of expert chefs make the most creative dishes, based mainly on the use of vegetables, combining cooking techniques not usually applied to plant-based dishes. Special thanks to front-of-house staff members Iker and Marina for their detailed descriptions of every dish. All in all, a highly recommendable experience.

I was curious to see how a place with a limited menu and nothing extraordinary could be ranked good in Pamplona on a popular app. The reviews on other platforms, including Google Maps, were also impressive. Although the menu isn't extensive, every dish is sensational, which is what sets this place apart. There isn't a single item that you could call mediocre; they are all exquisite and prepared in a small kitchen by 'Tereta'. Another highlight is the excellent service and cozy atmosphere, with seating for no more than 30 people, divided into three rooms for a more intimate and peaceful dining experience. Everything is homemade, including the ice cream, which makes the price even more reasonable.

Small and cozy place well located in a pedestrian street. Waitress super nice, she was really taking the cleaning measures in order to avoid Covid. As far as the food, very delicious using good raw ingredients. However, Im giving 3/5 star coz of the price. Pricey for what we ate, we are speaking about 17€ for an ajoarriero. Its true that this place is in a posh neighborhood and perhaps people do not care but really, for the bill we paid you can go to dozens of better places.

The food, wine and service are great. The tomato salad with burrata is really good as are the patatas bravas and Croquettes. The food and desserts are really good. We love the merluza, the steak, pork ribs and crab. The cheesecake is one of the best we had in the city, is light, warm and it comes with violet ice cream. Yolanda and the staff are wonderful. We will be back.

The Taberna offers separate vegetarian and non-veggie Menú del Dias, which suited us perfectly! The food was all excellent (although my veggie partner was slightly disappointed that three items on that menú had run out when we visited!), and portion sizes were good - we left felling very well fed! The staff were universally welcoming and friendly - even while having to re-arrange tables to accommodate us) - and worked efficiently together to give a relaxing and unpressured experience. At €20 including coffee (and bread and wine/beer/cider, as you’d expect!) the menú isn’t the cheapest you can find, but given the quality and service we certainly felt it was excellent value.

We were initially delighted by the beautiful modern restaurant, the friendly staff and especially the daily menu. Great interesting choice and also complete second menu for vegetarians, which we did not really need, but is rare to find in the area. I recently stayed at this hotel and had an absolutely dreadful experience. We were charged €1,000 for a three-night stay in a room that was no larger than a wardrobe and had no windows. The room was located on the fifth floor, and to our dismay, there was no elevator available, making it extremely difficult to access. Additionally, the common bathroom was in a deplorable state, lacking even a basic lock for privacy. This made the stay not only uncomfortable but also unsafe. It's a small place for Pizzas. They serve slizes of pizzas. It's very economical and good. But only open on Friday and weekends.
