Bar
Bar Gaucho, located in the heart of the city next to Plaza del Castillo, is a classic bar that has been serving up skewered pintxos and delicious wines for over 30 years. The owners pride themselves on offering cuisine from the land of Navarre with avant-garde touches.
Famous for its authenticity, fabulous pintxos and great coffee, this place does not disappoint! Friendly vibes from the personnel. Good spots outside (high chairs) to enjoy a tasty bite in the shade.
Hans Y — Google review
Amazing food and great vibe where many locals gather. Love the foie gras toast and sea urchin, the octopus is really fresh with a creamy sauce. The cod in tomato salad is also a must try. The food was so good that I forgot to take photos for many dishes. The Rojo beer is an amber beer that goes really well with the dishes. Can also try the Rioja wines for pairing. It may get crowded later in the evening, best is to go around 6 or 7pm before the crowd gathers.
J W — Google review
Visited this place a few weeks ago with some friends, it’s was recommended by many must-visit Pamplona lists on the internet. It was good but it didn’t blow my mind. Food is good, but nothing stood out for my taste. The best thing was their chistorra croquet! If you want to have a couple of beers and a quick bite with some friends I would recommend it.
Cesar A — Google review
Great vibes, great pintxos, great time. 🤩 Café Bar Gaucho is one of those places that makes you understand why pintxos are such a big deal in Pamplona. The variety is amazing and everything we tried was delicious: the poached egg with mushroom truffle sauce, the octopus, the stuffed sea urchin, the beef… and our absolute favorite, the foie gras pintxo — so good we had it twice!😋 The place gets packed, so going early is the best way to get a table. You can also stand at the bar or grab one of the high tables outside. Even if there’s a queue, I think it’s totally worth the wait. Honestly, the lively atmosphere is part of the charm, perfect for enjoying with friends and drinks. The staff is super fast and friendly, keeping everything moving smoothly even when it’s crowded. For me, it’s an easy 5 stars in the pintxos bar category — fun, tasty, and one of the must-visit spots in Pamplona.
Daniela V — Google review
Bar Gaucho is Pamplona at its best, buzzing atmosphere, quick and friendly service, and pintxos worth crossing the city for. The huevo trufado is rich, creamy, and decadent, while the grilled foie gras is perfectly seared and melts in your mouth. Grab a spot at the bar, order a few at a time, and enjoy the chaos.
Steve M — Google review
Awesome place for pintxos and drinks. They have items from the kitchen not displayed in the counter as well. The mushroom/egg/stick fries item looks/sounds so weird but OMG one of the best egg dishes i have had. Practically right off the bull run path. The lady doesnt speak much english but she tries and makes a great experience.
Sam A — Google review
service was good and friendly , regardless of the preasure placed by the amount of people placing orders. the food was outstanding, and the wine suggestion was proper. However I was surprised that food was warmed up in a microwave oven,.specialy that some of the pintxos could be eaten at room temperature. another option would be a salamander to heat some.of the food, but over all , it is a highly recomended culinary experience. the bet time is to.get there a mid day food has just been prepared and there are not many people, or around 7pm.,.
Baltasar P — Google review
Walking into Bar Gaucho is like entering a tapas cathedral where every bite feels both lovingly traditional and freshly bold. The staff are fantastic, filling your plate with confidence and flair as if they know exactly which pintxos will make your heart skip. What I had: Grilled foie gras on toast, creamy, smoky and unapologetically luxurious. The truffled egg pintxo, rich, silky and blessed with gentle truffle perfume. Cod in a basket with egg, croquettes, a lasagna style tuna layer and a truffle infused mousse, each plate a surprise and each flavour hitting exactly where it should. Wine and vermouth that feel effortlessly local, glasses that slide into your evening like old friends. The atmosphere is unpretentious, warm and buzzing with energy. It is a place where curiosity invites the best flavours and every dish feels like a high five to your taste buds. Bar Gaucho is not just a go to, it is a heart stealer.

Café Iruña, located in the heart of Pamplona, is a charming 1888 cafe known for its ornate decor and storied history. The elegant facade gives off a Wes Anderson film vibe, making it an ideal place to enjoy a refreshing beverage while taking in the lively atmosphere.
A great experience in this atmospheric restaurant. The set menu at €24 for three courses, bread wine and water is excellent value for money. The food was tasty (especially the delicious “curds” dessert), filling and the local wine very enjoyable. The highlight was saying a quiet hello to Ernest Hemingway in the small bar at the side of the restaurant.
Sarah F — Google review
This was a great experience. Located right at the center of Plaza Castillo in Pamplona, café Iruña will attend to your cravings for traditional hearty food, with a five star service and a dazzling atmosphere. Everything was great, from the entrée to the dessert, passing by the fish, meat and salads. Price is fair, it's not so busy at lunch, but for dinner better make a reservation (or just come early, Spaniards like to have dinner after 9). A must go if you're ever by Navarres capital.
Luis C — Google review
A stunning original cafe where Hemingway was a patron. The rich interior is enchanting and the mirrored wall reflect the lights and decor of the large space. We were a large group having sangria and pinchos so the service was fast and not individualized but that was ok. The pinchos were delicious.
G M — Google review
One of the oldest coffee shops in Spain. I was looking for the perfect Spanish Con Leche, then they gave me the most understated one. A stunning original cafe where Hemingway was a patron. I can smell the history here.
Gian G — Google review
Sangria is good, but service is pretty bad. We got some food and were not able to take a table inside. The waiters insisted that the children eat from plates while standing, despite the fact that only a few tables out of 30 was occupied outside. The bread on the pintxos is very dry.
Vitaliy L — Google review
Nice surprise. This is a café to remember. I liked the well-maintained historical interior. I enjoyed coffe and rum. The staff was very nice.

Iruña is the Basque word for Pamplona. historical café associated to Hemingway s presence in Pamplona. I stopped for a coffe and dessert, the service was friendly, but it can take some time due to the high traffic

Restaurante Anttonenea is a popular dining spot in the city center of Pamplona, known for its unassuming yet inviting atmosphere. The menu highlights quality ingredients and expertly prepared dishes, with a focus on delectable meats such as lamb shoulder and grilled octopus. Additionally, they offer a tasting menu that changes regularly, showcasing recipes from the Navarra region and neighboring cuisines. For those seeking Spanish cuisine in a cozy setting, this restaurant is an ideal choice.
This is a lovely restaurant at Pamplona city center, at the entrance of the center and easily accessible, directly from the stop of bus number 4. The entrance gives and impression that the place is small , however, the seating area is on the first floor while the ground floor is were the kitchen is in addition to a small bar. Food wise, this was an excellent choice for us. The appetizers were fresh , portions were generous and the flavors are exquisite . They also got us two complimentary plates , olives 🫒 and special croquetas of queso and pera with sourdough bread ! The aged meat T-bone chuletón was perfect . They brought us a hot stone to cook it further to our liking since Spanish chefs always bring it rare to medium rare . We have ordered also the lechal lamb shoulder which was extra tender and juicy. The good thing about the chuletón is that you could order it by weight ! We ordered the 1.3 kg which is a generous potion for 2-3 persons. Potato and salad came for free with the order. We were four and ended paying 42 euros per person, which is not expensive for the quality of food and service. We have not tried the sea food or postres this visit , but it is for sure worth a second trip. The coffee con leche was rich, but I like it more hot than how I received it . The camarera was super nice , she explained the menu very well and asked about food allergies and restrictions. Reservations are encouraged on weekend, especially for the near coming San Fermin

Very nice service. Starters were amazing. Also the dessert. Unfortunately the main dish not so. We were 4. We ordered 2 steaks for 2. One more raw and one medium. They've made one raw for 4 they said. And asked of it was ok. Was not because the steak was too small for 4 people and we were hungry. It was nice they gave us another smaller obe because of our complaints. I had to say it could be better. We've heard so much good about it. We've paid 70€ each. It was not worth the price by far.

Fantastic and unexpected! We were looking for a place to have lunch and just picked a spot based on reviews. We are so glad we chose Anttonenea! We had two wonderful bacalao dishes, and shared a salad along with a great rioja. All was exceptional. We adored our lovely server, Nay, who took great care of us and treated us very well. We will be back!!

Very good food. The staff attentions is very nice. The local is clean and the dishes are very tasty. If you order the tasting menu you will enter in an flavoring amazing experience. The wines could better. The desserts are fantastic.

Amazing lunch here yesterday… tables for one (walk in) are not normally welcome but they made room for me (a table for 4 just for me) even though they had lots of bookings (I got the last table in fact). The quality of attention and service was… well… amazing, utterly charming, made me feel truly welcome. Then came the food… from the olives (in their homemade marinade) and the ‘gift’ apero (croqueta de gambas with a citrus infused mayonnaise), by way of alcachofas confitadas lightly grilled and with foam of lemon and chopped spring onions and a couple of plump delicately steamed mussels, to the fish of the day, lomo de bonito a la parilla, cooked to perfection, sliced potatoes (lightly roasted) and a delicate citrusy sauce on the side and ending with a spectacular thin apple tart with Idiazabal icecream with membrillo… fabulous! Shame I am here for only a couple of days! Will try and go back for lunch on my last day. Highly recommended…

La Mandarra de La Ramos, a bustling bar in Pamplona, has quickly become a popular spot under the ownership of Jorge Goicoechea Lizarbe. The contemporary tapas bar features a sleek black counter and modern art adorning the walls. Chef Manu Palma and his team are dedicated to using quality ingredients, including locally sourced products.
One of those few restaurants I give five stars because all our experiences here were pleasant! Food, service, atmosphere all went well. We were served by a a very nice and so pleasant soft-spoken guy whom we truly appreciated. It was hard not to notice how nice he was. Unfortunately we didn't get his name. Photos I have shared separately

Incredible. Pinchos were stunning! Wished I could have had one of everything they were that good. As an Australian on the Camino, sadly, my Spanish is deplorable, but they still made me feel welcome and we got by. The vino was also outstanding. Do not pass up an opportunity to partake here. You will not be disappointed.

A unique gastronomic experience, with excellent and delicious Pintxos, generously sized to pair wit a goog wine. The price is fantastically reasonable and the place is beautiful and familiar. To repeat in the future.

Came early to avoid disappointment that you can't get a table. Excellent wine and a fabulous selection bof freshly prepared Tapas. I came twice. Not to be missed.

The food here is bomb! (Californian for really good). Great flavors, wide variety of options, and best of all they're well executed. We enjoyed the ongo (champi) croquettes, the scallop and cheese dish, (reminded us of clam chowder from San Francisco), and the caña was really nice too. Hopefully we'll be back! €15 for 4 plates and a caña after a tip. Fair prices.

It has been recognized with a Michelin Star since 1993 and boasts exquisite treatment of seasonal products from the land. With seven private dining rooms catering to intimate affairs or larger gatherings, it offers a more formal dining experience.
We had the tasting menu for lunch. The tasting menu was 98euros including the wine pairings. The eggs, potatoes and truffles was a highlight of the meal. The dessert was also really good. Highly recommended.

It’s our Oasis in San Fermin. A civilized place surrounded by an adorable caos. Great food prepared in an exquisite way, first quality products. Served by a friendly and profesional staff. Deserves much more than 1 Michelin star. Thank you for a great evening. Looking forwards to our next visit.

The experience was very rushed. Our reservation was for 15.15 given by restaurant for the tasting menu, the courses came extremely fast, when we asked to slow down we were told the kitchen closed at 15.15 same time we were booked, one of the appetisers noted on the menu was omitted. We said no to mussel on one of appetisers yet it was served. Unfortunately I have a severe allergy. We were frequently left with empty glasses both wine and water. Overall the food was of a high standard but the service and ambience were not commensurate with other Michelin star tasting menus we have enjoyed,

One of my favourite restaurants! My wife and I, as many times before when visiting Pamplona, enjoyed a wonderful meal, served by amazing staff. The place is reasonably quiet, on a first floor.
Gporzio55 — Google review

Not sure how they get a Michelin star. The food is fine but it's not haute cuisine. When I compare this to other one starred restaurants that I know, there is no comparison.
Mike T — Google review
We are giving 4 out of 5 star coz of two things: Decoration and the "fast service"(too fast), they even were waiting to take the last piece of meat to clean my dish up and bring the next one, dessert came exactly 20sec later we finish the last dish. Apart from this two little things, food was very good, staff super kind and value for price amazing. Probably one of the bedt we tried. We will come back.

When visiting Pamplona this place is a must-visit! The first day I arrived in Pamplona I visited their bar for a quick bit and had very good pinchos (their famous bomb looking one included)! Most of what I tried was delicious! A couple of days later I made reservations for dinner with a group of friends and we were all surprised with the quality of the food and service! Make sure you try their steak and the slow cooked beef ribs, these two dishes are incredible!!!! I will keep this one in my rotation every time I visit Pamplona!!!

In the heart of Pamplona, this place stole my heart. The food was of high quality, and they were nice enough to offer an item not on their menu just because I was craving some greens. Their wine selection is also extensive and the staff will help you find the right one. All in all, it was a very positive experience

Wow what a great experience. The 5 pasos tasting menu was a wonderful way to experience all the great flavors this place has to offer. The service was superb from the wine recommendation accompanied with a story about the winery through all the 5 courses and down to the chupito at the end. Loved it all

We eat here twice, once in the bar, once in the restaurant. Our preference would be to eat in the bar. The restaurant lacked atmosphere & the staff were more formal Their ceviche tapa (€4.20) was my tapa of our Pamplona week They also had a fab chicken gyoza tapa that was my partner’s tapa of the week. He was also a big fan of the potato bravas (€10)

After spending 10 days eating my way through Northern Spain, I can confidently say that Baserriberri in Pamplona served me the very best pintxos of the entire trip. Every single bite was bursting with creativity, flavour, and pure joy. If you come here, don’t overthink it, just order all of their special pintxos. Every one of them is a masterpiece, beautifully crafted and absolutely delicious. Each dish feels like a small work of art, both in presentation and taste, and they truly deliver on the “wow” factor.

Nestled in the heart of Pamplona, El Merca'o is a vibrant culinary hotspot that beautifully marries Mediterranean fusion with a contemporary flair. This trendy venue serves as more than just a restaurant; it’s a lively gathering place where food lovers can indulge in delightful tapas while enjoying the company of friends or colleagues. The atmosphere is anything but ordinary, making it perfect for romantic dates, business meetings, celebrations, or casual get-togethers over coffee and cocktails.
El Mercao won the 2022 pintxo championship with their dish “Tubertxerri”. It looks like a truffle buried in soil, served in a wooden dish. The truffle is actually a fried Chinese bread filled with Thai-style pork shoulder. The soil is dried mushrooms and almond flour, and you dig the truffle out with the shovel.

I would rate 4 stars on food and 3 on service.  It seems that they change the menu weekly, since some last week  Instagram  post showing some dishes were not available.  One example of why I rate it 3 stars on service is that I asked for a Tuna Tataki, the waiter mention that they ran out of it and quickly continue with the next table.  He did not suggest any other option, nor give me time to ask.  A few minutes later  I called him to ask for other options as Tuna Tartare, which they had.

We had the pre fix menu of the day. Warning : that menu was huge. The amount of food was too much, we did not get to the dinner. I am not going to dive into the details but what we had was Lk delicious, but the meat was exceptionally great.

Great atmosphere and full nearly all of the time! We went here twice as it came so highly recommended. Their pintxos were quite different from other places but seemed to include some of the classic ingredients. It’s worth a try.

Staff were attentive to all their customers. A great atmosphere. The ponchos were all so tasty! One of the best Aperol Spritz I have had in a very long time.

The bar was super-busy when we arrived but the restaurant in the back was almost empty. It did fill up later, improving the ambiance. I enjoyed my polpo and dessert, my friend found her dish too heavy in sauce. Very friendly waiter and excellent wine.

Great bar for a drink and some beautiful pintxos. Service was excellent and we loved their txistorra (Basque chorizo) and the smoked cod. Highly recommended to include in your pintxos crawl of Pamplona.

Lovely place, you need to book a table, or need be there for the opening (20:00) otherwise you need to wait, but worth every penny.

Absolutely amazing food with a friendly atmosphere and great service! All allergens are marked on the menu, including gluten, lactose, soya, etc. I mentioned that gluten was extra important for me and the waiter immediately took careful note of this and let the kitchen know. We ordered a starter and a main course each, and were advised that that was too much food. Very honest of them, and they were definitely right as the portions are generous! The food was truly amazing and we very much enjoyed our evening.

When you hear a lot about the pintxos of Pamplona, this is the place where you mus meet them. Very nice and attentive service from the staff. Despite being super busy on a Sunday at lunchtime, it's a pretty clean establishment. Anytime I go back to Pamplona, I'll definitely make a visit here again.

Bodegón Sarría is a charming pintxos bar located on Plaza del Castillo in Pamplona's historic center. It has been recognized in the Michelin Guide for its high-quality food. The bar offers a variety of pintxos, including chorizo on crusty bread and an interesting combination of prawn, gulas, and jamon serrano.
4th day in Spain by far the best place. Went early ate outside. 2 sangrias, 2 white wines, 6 pintxos and $34 euros. The jamón y queso paninis were the best. Going back later today.

It was Sunday and after Mass at the cathedral we went to this place based on the online ratings. When we walked the boss/owner didn't welcome us; he just sat there. A man behind the bar did. And we asked if we could sit at one of the free tables (with tablecloth, that whole section was open) and he said OK but we could only order from the menu. We said that was fine. But then the boss/owner said no. We would have left but a regular table freed up and we were hungry. We ordered 4 things (including the gambas al ajillo which were dry). We went to another place nearby and had a great time and great food. I wouldn't recommend this place. Go to Bar Gaucho instead.

Nice bar, big choice of tapas, but better order from the menu. Crowded at nights (Thursday-Sunday extremely). We’ve ordered three tapas and all of them too many onion 🧅, potatoes 🥔 and sunflower oil(((

Fantastic experience Walked by this place while walking to the main square. The place was packed and decided to comeback after checking out the town. Although we came back almost an hour later, the palace was still full; we decided to try our luck and found our way in. We had no idea how things worked, since everyone inside had a drink and tapas, but it wasn't clear who was waiting on anyone. That's when Iñaki spotted us and came from behind the counter. He quickly explained how things worked out and offered to take care of us. Waited until a spot on one of the community tables opened up and sat ourselves. From that moment on, we were able to enjoy one of our best meals in Spain. Food was great, but Iñaki made our evening truly memorable.

I ordered stew for 26 euros. It contained tasteless grave and the smallest fries ever. It was noisy. So overpriced, there are better places to find in Pamplona.

A regular pintxos (small bites) place, mix service, we got one good and one bad server. Initially the waiter said I need to order at the bar but then another server mentioned that they can take the order from the table.

Nothing spectacular - the food we had was ok - The reason for 4 stars instead of an average 3 stars is that the waiter went all out to serve a Vegan dish to one of my freinds every though he did not speak English and we did not speak Spanish - very good service 👍😊

LA OLLA is a great restaurant in Pamplona that serves delicious food and great atmosphere. They were able to provide gluten free bread without any problem and they have plenty of options for anyone with a gluten free diet. The service was fantastic and the quality of the food was top notch. I would recommend LA OLLA to anyone visiting Pamplona!
We managed a table on the 30th December, after calling and the answer was that the restaurant was full later but available on the spot and early! When we arrived we managed to get an early table and eat a beautiful meal! We had clams, seafood soup and a grilled sea bass! The clams were big, as you can see on the picture! The sea food soup tasted like the ocean! The fish was tender and could be cut like butter! It became our New Year’s Eve dinner, with very attentive service and not expected at all during this time of the year! Thank you to both ladies that served us!

My siblings and I were very lucky to find this restarurant on a very busy Saturday, without a reservation and every other place packed. We waited a little bit to be seated and were very pleased with the service, the quality of the food and the atmosphere. We were seated in a lovely cozy corner and had the greatest time while eating delicious food and drank an amazing red wine.

We had a wonderful dinner. Went for a quick dish and the place didn’t disappoint. All the dishes we got were really good and the service was amazing. The steak is one of the best one we’ve gotten in the region. Oxtail was super tender and the squid really tasty. Would recommend and come again. Just a little pricy in our opinion but again the food was really astonishing.

Restaurante Kabo is a contemporary dining space in Pamplona, Navarra that offers a gastronomic experience rooted in ancestral heritage and traditional flavors. The restaurant prides itself on using the best ingredients to create dishes that are both creative and avant-garde. With a commitment to humility and passion, the team at Kabo aims to awaken diners' senses with beautifully presented dishes made from seasonal Navarran vegetables.
We had a wonderful dining experience at this Michelin restaurant. The tasting menu included many courses, each beautifully presented and explained in detail by the staff. What impressed me most was the wide wine selection, including non-alcoholic options – a thoughtful touch, as I don’t drink alcohol, and the non-alcoholic wine paired perfectly with the dishes. The highlight of the lunch was their signature dessert Kabo with a butterfly – stunning and delicious. Every dish was prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients, which made the experience even more special. The service was excellent: our waiter spoke English fluently and made us feel very welcome. A little tip – it’s best to reserve a table in advance. Highly recommended!
Nadia R — Google review
I would like to mention the service has been excellent and the waitress and chefs explained us all plates really well. In terms of food; until the desserts it was really good just one plate was not good for us. The desserts were a bit disappointing as they tasted too sweet and simple, all of them. The restaurant has a basic decoration and glasses and cutleries are clean and being changed every time. The overall price 211€ 2 people, from my view and the context of the restaurant plus location is a bit expensive. 90€ the menu. Less plates and less expensive will have a better quality vs value. One good point is that most of the plates are local ones. I hope desserts will be improved!

Nice presentation of every dish and the service was excellent. The restaurant has a warm and classy interior and I liked that many of the dishes were vegetarian. The price is great for such a high standard. I recommend this place.

Oh, not so good… premium wine pairing included 9 tastes (sips) of 9 lowest value National and International varieties. 3 of 6 matched or elevated the dishes. 12 is the date. The premier ingredient served was a Haake fish that the chef swore he paid 25€/kg… we were not impressed and with a diabetic partner, we cannot eat 5 of 14 dishes of dessert. We left after the Haake.

Amazing culinary experience in Pamplona. We had the “Metamorphosis experience”, where the mixture of flavours and exquisite wines are served with a personal touch from the owner Jaoine. Totally different and worth experience. They were grateful that we mentioned the dietary restrictions (gluten intolerance) and made the necessary adjustments to the menu
Santi E — Google review
Beautifully presented dishes and homemade bread in the 60€, 9 plate menu (wine is separate, but tasty). The most flavorful main course was the costilla de cerdo and the mango ice cream was the best dessert. Everything looks incredible - they clearly put a lot of time into designing every plate, but the flavors weren't all as interesting as the looks. I'd give a 4.5/5 if it were an option, but a 4 is simply too low. Nevertheless, it was a lunch to remember :)

Incredible culinary experience at Kabo. Amazing display of talent and know-how in terms of customer service, attention to details and, most importantly, haute cuisine. Aaron and his team of expert chefs make the most creative dishes, based mainly on the use of vegetables, combining cooking techniques not usually applied to plant-based dishes. Special thanks to front-of-house staff members Iker and Marina for their detailed descriptions of every dish. All in all, a highly recommendable experience.

June 2021 - excellent 3-course meal for 11 euros with a full bottle of house wine, water and coffee. So good we went twice and, from the looks of it, a favorite among locals vs. the 13-16 euro alternatives. The menu changes every day but they always include a salad, seafood and meat dishes. I was curious to see how a place with a limited menu and nothing extraordinary could be ranked good in Pamplona on a popular app. The reviews on other platforms, including Google Maps, were also impressive. Although the menu isn't extensive, every dish is sensational, which is what sets this place apart. There isn't a single item that you could call mediocre; they are all exquisite and prepared in a small kitchen by 'Tereta'. Another highlight is the excellent service and cozy atmosphere, with seating for no more than 30 people, divided into three rooms for a more intimate and peaceful dining experience. Everything is homemade, including the ice cream, which makes the price even more reasonable.

Small and cozy place well located in a pedestrian street. Waitress super nice, she was really taking the cleaning measures in order to avoid Covid. I love this place. I went on a Thursday. Ordered a bottle of cider and was asked if I knew how to pour it. I thought I did but waitress explained that just pour a little and drink often. It was delicious, excellent cider. As I was ordering food the waiter asked if I would prefer to try the local special wraps they only serve on a Thursday. Great recommendation. Bacon and green pepper with cheese and gorgonzola sauce. Highly recommended. Also had wonderful Nachos as I just couldn't resist. Place is busy as expected and I'm definitely going back. Service and food above the already high expectations

The Taberna offers separate vegetarian and non-veggie Menú del Dias, which suited us perfectly! The food was all excellent (although my veggie partner was slightly disappointed that three items on that menú had run out when we visited!), and portion sizes were good - we left felling very well fed! The staff were universally welcoming and friendly - even while having to re-arrange tables to accommodate us) - and worked efficiently together to give a relaxing and unpressured experience. At €20 including coffee (and bread and wine/beer/cider, as you’d expect!) the menú isn’t the cheapest you can find, but given the quality and service we certainly felt it was excellent value.
George H — Google review
We were initially delighted by the beautiful modern restaurant, the friendly staff and especially the daily menu. Great interesting choice and also complete second menu for vegetarians, which we did not really need, but is rare to find in the area. Unfortunately, the simplest of the dishes chosen (out of 4) the entrecôte was not good. It had a strong bitter aftertaste and neither of us could swallow it. We returned it and complained, unfortunately there was no replacement, discount or other redress. Hence the deduction in stars here.

Really good food. They have a vegetarian menu (all the dishes can be made vegan) consisting of 3 dishes plus dessert, drink and coffee. They also have an omnivorous menu. The daily menu is 15€. They use proximity food.

The restaurant also offers a nice variety of pinchos that are all very tasty and nicely presented. The staff is friendly and attentive, making the overall atmosphere delightful.
We ate at Mesón Pieineo this evening at the suggestion of our Airbnb host. We were seated at a nice table and decided on the house menu which included appetizer main course and dessert. Appetizers consisted of an enormous mixed salad with tuna and tomatoes for my wife and I got a lovely chunky tomato salad with tuna and olive oil which was spectacular. Second course consisted of meatballs and gravy with french fries for my wife and I got the cut of beef with french fries and sautéed peppers. It was about an 8oz portion similar to a good strip loin and perfectly done to medium rare and wonderfully flavorful. For dessert, I got a Basque puff pastry with lemon filling that was spectacular and my wife got the lightest loveliest cheesecake she has ever eaten. This was accompanied by a bottle of organic Tempranillo red wine from the Navarro region, which was excellent. Total price was €20 per person and was a great value. Overall, it was one of the nicest meals I’ve had in long time and certainly the best value. I highly recommend this hidden jam in Pamplona.

A really good experience. Arrived in Pamplona after a 10 hr drive, it was a Saturday night, cold and raining. We stopped by several places first then here. Downstairs causal bar and pintxos, the people were very helpful. Had a glass of wine and a pintxos. And we got a seat in the restaurant, up the stairs. Good food, good drink options and great service. Thankful for the kindness.

Restaurante Vegetariano Sarasate is a long-standing vegetarian restaurant in Pamplona, established in 1975. Situated in the heart of Casco Viejo, it offers daily changing menus featuring three courses for 11.50, with options catering to vegetarians, vegans, and those requiring gluten-free dishes. The restaurant is praised for its excellent price-quality ratio and friendly service.
I had an amazing meal here. Full three courses for €15 includes wine/beer/filtered water. Really nice atmosphere, staff speak English. An oasis for a vegan on the Camino!

A hidden gem! A well-thought-out vegetarian menu with multiple vegan options. Everything was delicious, and the staff were professional and welcoming. The price is also very good for the quality you receive!

Came here for some lunch earlier today. I really enjoyed it. The soup and the hamburgers were very good. The lady who worked there was very lovely and I very much appreciated her kind nature. 😁
Scott W — Google review
Food was good, the daily menu was a bit pricey but seeing the average prices around the area, I believe it was accordingly. The portions were slightly smaller than usual in daily menus, but perfect for me as I never manage to eat everything anyway. Not the best vegetarian restaurant I’ve been to, but it’s a good option for who’s looking for a veggie option around.

After eating bread and cheese for a week on the Camino this food was fresh and incredible!! i needed veggies. the hummus, meatballs and lasagna were delicious! would definitely go back!!
Jennifer L — Google review
If you’re not vegetarian, would not recommend. The food is basic (I could make it easily), and there aren’t even many options for vegans. On weekends and festivals it is mandatory to order the €23 menu, which wasn’t clear to us before going to the restaurant. Paying that price for the food we got wasn’t worth it, but we went because a member of our group is vegan and gluten free. There were no desserts for him, though .. just fruit. The service was not friendly, but that’s normal in Spain. Ultimately, not recommended unless your diet demands

(Translated by Google) Terrible experience. The starters and main course took about an hour to arrive. Then they didn't come to serve our desserts until another hour had passed. We constantly had to ask for cutlery because they couldn't get the number right. It's not the waitress's fault that she was alone for 40 diners, but it is the establishment's fault for not having enough staff. The portions were also very small for the price of the menu, and in terms of quality, very average.

Café Roch is a traditional Navarrese bar with a history dating back to the 1700s. The small cafe has become famous for its croquettes - fried balls of dough filled with a variety of ingredients - and its congenial atmosphere is perfect for enjoying the nightlife of Pamplona.
Seems to be the oldest bar in Pamplona. Highly recommended pintxos: Boletus (mushroom), roquefort (cheese) and pimiento (red pepper, slightly spicy). 2,40 € each at the time (free water included if you want to start the day with a clear head! 🤪👍🏼✨). Small and cozy place, recommended!!

We enjoyed a fantastic evening here. We discovered the place completely by chance while strolling around the city in search of some atmospheric little cafe. It was a lucky find! We probably spent more than anybody else here but we had such a great time. The bar is small and cosy and you might have to wait before having a seat but not to get a drink… Also try the croquettes. The mushroom was a must such as the anchovies ones. No tourist or just Spanish ones. Mostly local clients. Don’t miss it!

Confortable hostel in one of the main street of Pamplona. The room is quite small, but it has all the necessary. The staff is nice and homing. I asked for a gluten free breakfast and every morning I had my gf plate from the chef. Attention there isn't any elevator!
Flaminia T — Google review
I recently stayed at this hotel and had an absolutely dreadful experience. We were charged €1,000 for a three-night stay in a room that was no larger than a wardrobe and had no windows. The room was located on the fifth floor, and to our dismay, there was no elevator available, making it extremely difficult to access. Additionally, the common bathroom was in a deplorable state, lacking even a basic lock for privacy. This made the stay not only uncomfortable but also unsafe. I strongly advise against staying at this hotel. You would be much better off sleeping in a municipal parking lot than enduring the appalling conditions of this establishment.
Гриша Д — Google review
The windowless room is very small and damp. It is close to Plaza Castillo, has many tapas bars and cafes around, and is easy to find. There are bedbugs.
YK J — Google review
Paints itself up as a hotel. Pictures are deceptive. We booked 2 rooms with on the pictures looked like an adjoining bathroom. We gor 2 rooms with bathrooms shared with a number of rooms. In reality it is a pension/ hostel type affair where you do not get what you booked.
Geoffrey P — Google review
Nothing they told me about check-in was correct. They wanted my credit card number sent by email to charge parking. They didn't do that. They said they were going to send an access code by WhatsApp because nobody would be there on Sunday. They didn't do that. Had to wait 1.5 hours for someone to finally show up. Response was... oh so sorry it was my compares fault.
Greg M — Google review
A bit loud if you are looking to rest, but it is a prime location during San Fermines. Rooms are tight. No A/C. No hot water. Mold throughout the bathroom. Receptionist are not available 24/7.
Hector P — Google review
They don't have fans available! No one is asking for air conditioning, but please, have a fan. It's 40° in the room.
Rafael L — Google review
If you have mobility issues this may not be the place for you. The building does not have a lift/elevator. Accommodation is part of a building consisting of a bar on the ground floor, a restaurant on the first floor and rooms on the upper floors. Checking in procedure is on the first level by the restaurant. The woman who checked me in was very gracious and helpful and made me feel very welcome. The room had the basics: 2 single beds, bedside tables, cupboard ,2 chairs and a TV. The ensuite had a small bathtub/shower combination, toilet and washbasin. The room and ensuite were clean and tidy with fresh linen and bath towels. The rooms are old style and not large but are ok for a place to rest after a day touring the sights of the city.

Bar Casa Jesús Mari is a popular spot in central Pamplona known for its rustic and almost-Celtic interior. The bar is famous for its delicious bocadillos and roast potatoes with various toppings, such as mushroom and cheese sauce. Vegetarian and vegan options are also available.
We came to this bar hungry, soaked to the bone from the pouring rain, and left full, warm, and very satisfied. From the moment we walked in, we felt the welcoming atmosphere. The owner's smile said it all — everything was going to be just fine. 😉 We ordered bocadillos and got great help with our choices. The sandwiches were delicious, hot, and perfectly crispy. We also had Navarre wine, which was equally delightful and aromatic. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality!

Eat indoors or outdoors, a great place for a sandwich and a drink.

For two we had two points of salmon ceviche (the best!), a baked provoletta accompanied by very delicious "breadsticks" of pizza dough and a half and half pizza, which is something worth highlighting because it can be mixed. We ended up quite full, we might have had leftover provoletta, but everything was very good and the pizzas are certainly special. To raise a but, the hot sauce still lacked spiciness, but we already know that it depends on taste. To repeat without a doubt. (Original) Servicio muy atento, pendiente y que te aconseja. Acabamos bastante llenas, igual la provoletta nos hubiera sobrado, pero estaba todo muy bueno y las pizzas son desde luego, especiales. A very big request to the establishment, open early, or change the opening schedule in all directions, Google map, etc.
Николай П — Google review
If i could i would give zero star. The pizza was horrible, we waited 30 minutes for 2 pizzas that were 50 euro (without any soda). The pizza crust was so thin and the pizza came uncut. Horrible service and attitude from the server.
Laura B — Google review
Nice place, friendly waitress, unlimited drink.

Not the fastest Dominos by a long shot, time your hunger for the 20min wait. Once the pizza was made it was to the usual high standard

Luiz, John and Lorely were amazing. I'm a foreigner and they helped me with my order and customised it too! Hats off to the entire team especially the person who hired both of them! Their smiles and service made my evening! 🌃❤️✨

The food is okay, satisfying enough. We've got a free game, too. The place is quiet when we came, coz less people were there maybe. Overall, we enjoyed the food with my family. It was just so-so I would say.
Joy N — Google review
Nothing to rave about. Crunchy chicken, not crunchy, cheesy? One slice of processed cheese, beer? Flat... really not worth it. Wven the wi fi was not connexting. Gets the two stars because it was clean, service fast and quiet, so I could sit and wait for my bus.
Clara C — Google review
Ordered online and had a delivery issue. However the customer service and manager dealt with the situation beyond expectations. Food was delicious, and would definitely order again! (Give a raise to the man in customer service and manager helping us)
Allana S — Google review
Mateus was great! I left my phone on the counter and he looked for me and gave it back! Great guy and great service!

Manager was great. Staff Helped me because my Spanish wasn’t good. So refreshing and better than the service in America.

Coke machine spigot fell into my drink. Chicken was under done and rubbery. Onion rings were only warm and already soggy. Woman at counter took my receipt and went to throw it away. She only needed to verify it was my order, why take the receipt 🧾? Good luck but I would start over here.
Christopher S — Google review
The food tastes great. The service was quick. Make sure you pay when order at the kiosk otherwise if you select to pay at the counter they won't start your order until you pay.

(Translated by Google) I give it a star because it is compelling. The food is not bad at all. But the person who serves, I imagine she is the boss, is NASTY to the extreme, she thinks it is bad that we ask for the dishes, since it is free food, what we cannot do is order everything you are going to eat on a trip Apart from the fact that the portions are ridiculous, everything on the table would cool down at the same time. Said making angry faces, unpleasant gestures, putting the dishes out as if reluctantly, who miraculously doesn't throw them at us…. I had come other times and the experience had not been bad, but today's experience is a bit exaggerated. I hope that with the opinions you have you realize a little, that even if your place is not the best, at least there is a good atmosphere or the situation invites you to be calm and comfortable. As I said, I will not return and I completely advise against it. And he didn't take away our plates until we were almost done with the meal.

(Translated by Google) To be honest, I was very disappointed, a restaurant that apparently looked good has turned out to be one of the worst places to eat where I have ever been. Nuevo Puerto would change the name to Puerto Ruina because the food is terrible. The bland food, the bad sauce, little variety and all the food preheated. Everything was very oily. Not to mention the excessive price for what it is, €10.50 during the week and the weekend is even more expensive. The drink is not included in the menu and a CocaCola costs €2.40... In short, a Ruin. From my experience I do not recommend anyone eat there unless you want to waste money and eat poorly. I will not return there due to the bad experience. I give it 1 star for not giving it a 0 because it's not worth it.

Telepizza Pamplona Bergamín is a great pizza place that offers 2 for 1 deals on food. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the pizzas are delicious.
Very friendly. Great pizza. Went out of their way to help us since we only spoke English. Thank you for being so kind.

Pica a little bit burned. Weird texture, like porridge. In some spots too much salt, probably in minced meat. Just not delicious. Waitress didn’t even try to smile. Didn’t liked atmosphere, music
Greta Č — Google review
Telepizza, is getting well known in this area of Calle Bergamin. If the weather is dull, usually I dial Telepizza. The service is good as well as we have many options to choose from the great variety of pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, Icecream, etc. This time I really wanted to see how they functioned in thier restaurant. I made a visit to their restaurant. The entrance was not that welcoming with all their latin workers making pizzas and a small space to serve. Its amazing that this store is having all latin americans working in this pizzaria. One thing is very sure that this shop is not easy to be closed, because there are no spaniards working in this shop and the latin americans are usually hardworkers when there are in a foreign country. The price is reasonable but the waiteresses can be more attentive in recieving clients. Twice I went and I found that the counter was abandoned, though they see us entering, they do not attend us immediately. Lack of immediacy. However, the pizzas were amazingly good. A mediana can be eaten by two and is very big for two. The pizzaburger is very good. Quantity is sufficiently for three. Reasonable price and quality stuff. I recomend you to visit atleast once to see how they work and serve.

La Galganni Pizzería is a cozy pizzeria known for its delicious and affordable pizza slices. While it's a small establishment, it has gained popularity for its tasty offerings. This pizzeria is particularly popular on Fridays and weekends when it opens its doors to eager customers. In addition to traditional options, La Galganni Pizzería also caters to vegan diners with gluten-free pizza choices that are equally delightful.
They have vegan pizzas (with gluten). Taste pretty good as well 😉

It's a small place for Pizzas. They serve slizes of pizzas. It's very economical and good. But only open on Friday and weekends.

A fine little place for pizza slices. The people working there were nice, and the pizza was alright. We came towards the end of the evening so selection was limited, as one might expect. We ordered a margarita pizza to go, and it was pretty good. Lots of cheese, but not enough sauce!

Quite expensive (3.5€ per slice), and for vegetarian pizza you must to wait a lot... But even that it's better than the other pizzerias.

(Translated by Google) This little takeaway pizzeria is a hidden gem. The pizzas, in addition to being generous in size, are a delight at a very reasonable price. Although the place is small, the quality of the food more than makes up for any space limitations. Perfect for those looking for a tasty, filling and affordable on-the-go option. A must stop for lovers of large and delicious pizzas! (Original) Esta pequeña pizzería para llevar es una joya escondida. (Translated by Google) A good slice of pizza in a great spot at a very affordable price. Plus, before serving it, they heat it in an oven and give you a piece of cardboard to keep it from sticking to your napkin. The only complaint I can make is that the four-cheese pizza was a little chewy, but everything else was great. (Original) Un buen trozo de pizza en un buen sitio de paso a un precio muy económico. Además antes de servirtela te la calientan en un horno y te han un cartón para que no se te quede pegada a la servilleta.
