Breakfast restaurant
Restaurant
Studio One Café is a bustling eatery that offers classic breakfast and lunch options in a casual setting with outdoor patio seating. The café has a welcoming, home-like interior and is vegetarian-friendly. It serves American cuisine, including popular dishes like French toast, pancakes, crab cakes, Habanero Sausage Scramble, and Animal House Eggs Benedict. In addition to coffee, loose-leaf tea, and fresh juices, the café also offers made-to-order sandwiches and crispy salads.
Probably the best breakfast place in Eugene. The Northern Lights is so good. I've never had better Eggs Benedict & sweet potato fries in my life. I've taken a couple people here just to see their reactions upon eating these masterpieces. Staff is wonderful too!

What a lovely spot for breakfast! My table had French toast, eggs Benedict and a table pancake. All of it was delicious! The coffee was also especially good and well brewed. Service was fast, friendly and very attentive. Special shoutout to Dominic who was a solo server while I was there and managed to keep a full house of tables happy! I don’t live in Eugene but next time I visit I’ll be back here again!
Caitria H — Google review
We stopped by on our way from Portland to Crater Lake and tried the Morning Star and Northern Light. It was honestly the best breakfast I’ve had in a while (even the fruit was sooo good!). The servers were all kind and welcoming, and the quiet atmosphere combined with the sunny weather made it perfect. If I come back to Eugene, I’d definitely love to visit again.

Loved the sp fries but had a crazy wait between ordering and food. I’d probably come back but when it’s not busy

A few friends and I went for Easter weekend brunch and it was very pleasant. Cozy patio and interior, the menu is humongous and there’s so many options to choose from. I got the Chocolate pancake meal with sausage, eggs and sweet potato fries. If you’re thinking about ordering the pancakes, they are GIANT so 2 is definitely plenty. My friend got the French toast sandwiches and it looked phenomenal, definitely want to try that next. Overall great service, the only thing was we had to wait a little long to pay. Recommend!
Rachel W — Google review
Yum! If you're craving breakfast, this is the place to go. Great service and delicious food. This is one of the few places you can get a fruit bowl with actual fruit in it that isn't gross or a singular fruit. Fresh grapes, strawberries, pineapples, apples, and kiwi. There is a full menu of different types of eggs Benedict if you are a fan.
Sandra M — Google review
Great service with an extremely friendly staff. Awesome portions and coffe is never empty. Sunday can be crowded with the brunch crowd. There is outdoor seating and some of it is not undercover. Parking extremely limited in the shall parking lot, fortunately there is a lot of street parking available. Highly recommend...🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
Joshua P — Google review
Came here on a Saturday morning with no reservation and on the way back to California on the I-5! We were quite tired and glad when we were seated in 5 minutes even though there was a quite a bit of a bustle. Food: I got the Zorro's Benedict and I liked the mix of Polenta and the eggs! We also got the full order of the French toast, which was lighter and just as sweet as we liked them. Would recommend for sure as a post-meal sort of dessert snack! I also really liked the Northern Lights Benedict as a classic meal here and it had a really subtle but distinct flavor to it! Service: The waiters came by semi-frequently to refill our waters and check in with us! Ambiance: Super casual but nice place! A great place to hide from the rain for sure. Overall, a cute place that I'd come back to! Prices are reasonable.

American restaurant
Glenwood is a charming neighborhood in the Willamette street area, known for its delightful breakfast spots. One such favorite is a cozy gathering place where both friends and strangers come together to enjoy delicious food and engaging conversations. The gracious host ensures that guests feel welcome, while the attentive staff, like the beloved Ginger, adds to the warm atmosphere. Despite some changes in pricing over the years, visitors find that the quality of food justifies the cost.
Glenwood will always be special to me, when I arrived in the states, in Eugene, this was the first place my husband took me and I love the food, the ambiance and the people. We visited again yesterday. Sharing some photos I’ve taken when I visited.
Ash R — Google review
Very down home atmosphere. Booths or tables. Excellent food. Food feels like home cooked and healthy. They offer regular and vegetarian. The waitresses and waiters are personable. They get to know you and you can get to know them. I’d highly recommend this place
Marissa K — Google review
Great traditional diner with everything you can hope for on the breakfast menu. Looks like a lot on the non-breakfast menu also, but we didn't even get that far. We shared the French toast sampler with over medium eggs and crispy homestyle potatoes. They were perfect! We also shared an order of biscuits and gravy. The waitress pointed out that a side of biscuits was only $2.50 less than the whole order, so we got the whole order and had crispy bacon also. It was a delightful meal and we left with full bellies and some leftovers. It looked like they had some decent options for vegetarians and vegans also.

This uniquely eugene restaurant holds so many great memories for me and my family. The kids when they are home want to have breakfast there. My sister and I recall the lean grad school years when we ate potatoes with ketchup and coffee. Mags recalls her noodle dish which the chef promises to prepare for her. Friends from undergrad were surprised that their east coast service dawg was welcome in the booth. The coffee is hot and fresh. The wait staff is fantastic and attentive. The eggs are fresh. The bacon can be done crisply. They have sourdough! And if u feel like a Glenwood homemade supper, this institution sells a very affordable supper for 4 (to go) weekly. U must get your order in early like Monday for a Weds or Thurs pickup...u and yours will not be disappointed.
Jean M — Google review
It had been years since I frequented this spot…Food still good, prices reasonable and waitress good…Not much has changed, but the place could use a bit of an update/exterior!
Becky D — Google review
A gathering of Desolation's Angels met to drink coffee and break fast. Friends and strangers alike sat together discussing, talking, listening, enjoying the Spider on the Wall. A gracious and amenable host. A wonder of a young woman who took care of us. My one complaint, in all my years of feasts and fetes on this Earth never have I had an entire breakfast that was as salty as this one. From the toast, to the potatoes, to the sausage to the conversation. Not really. Salty conversation I mean. The meal, yes. Salty as the Demeter crashed upon the shore. Salty as a desert sky filled with invisible bats. Yet I digress.... A good time was had by one and all.

We love the food and service here . Our go to order is eggs Benedict and waffles.

Brail's Restaurant, located in midtown Eugene with another branch off Willamette St., is a popular spot for both regulars and weekend crowds. It has gained a reputation as the go-to place for curing hangovers with its quick and friendly service and delicious breakfast options like buttery hash browns and fluffy omelets. The diner is known for its fresh and consistent food, clean environment, accommodating staff, and prompt service even during busy times.
Came here to meet with family and even though it took a while to sit down (large group), it was worth the wait! Monte cristo was fantastic, lots of meat with great crispy fries, added some syrup because of the French toast bread. 5/5. Wifey ordered the eggs Benedict, substituted to add bacon. Bread stayed fresh and crispy, the whole meal was put together very well and was delicious. Kids all got the cheeseburgers and you can see they’re big burgers, the kids loved them. Our friend got a Loco Moco, she loved it and reminded her of home in Hawaii. The waiter offered kimchi, my wife and her friend said the Kimchi was delicious (which is rare, high standards!) Highly recommend!!
Anthony B — Google review
I was very disappointed with my scrambled eggs. The eggs were thin and ribbon looking. I asked for well done but I still expected fluffy eggs. The hash browns had no flavor, the toast was okay though. On the plus side, and I honestly the only reason they get 3 stars, the service was quick and the servers were polite and friendly. We were seated immediately and our orders were taken quickly. The atmosphere was busy and hectic, but that's breakfast time at any breakfast place. I hope this was a one off because I like the other Brails.

Pretty awesome diner experience!!! First time in Eugene and visited here for breakfast. I ate the ch Chicken and Waffles. I am from the South so this was a different type of chicken tender than I was used to. Everyone I was with also really enjoyed their food. Very busy and the wait was about 30 minutes. Definitely recommend Brails!!!!

This little cafe was a great spot to get breakfast. We had biscuits and gravy, corn beef hash, and the veggie benedict. It was all really good, especially the benedict. Bloody Mary's were also really good. Love that they use celery and horseradish. We'll be back!

Can't miss the red building. Ample parking both sides of the building. Arrived a few minutes after they opened at 8am. Not many places open that early on a Sunday. There were already about 10 customers inside. Our server was 👍. He checked up on us. Portions and variety of breakfast eats are great. Heapful of sliced bananas on the pancakes. The sausage in the burrito had a pleasantly mild flavor. Hashbrowns cooked perfect. Loco Moco was on point!
Dee B — Google review
Great locally owned breakfast and lunch spot. Friendly neighborhood feel in quaint Eugene, OR. Server was great, his dad has worked there 25 years. Didn't get to meet the owner, but her Korean heritage is reflected in the menu. Breakfast spot with great service and a menu that has American classics mixed with a touch of Hawaiian and Korean flair (where else can you get a fried rice stuffed omelet). Biscuits and gravy are made from scratch. Lots of seating. Great place. If we ever get back to Eugene, we will definitely go again. It's a little pricey for breakfast with tip $70 for 3 people.

A family favorite 😍 I remember when my 18yo didn't like food much and Joy would make his day with his pancake plate. My 10yo was coloring the coloring sheet picture of Joy and it got me emotional. RIP Joy ♡ Thank you for being a consistent community staple. Yummy breakfast!

Gravy was cold. Creamer was just plastic cups. Butter was fake soy spread. Waffle was dry even with the spread and syrup. Mentioned it to our server and he was rude. Do not recommend.

The Swanson 🙌🏻 Had the food multiple times. It’s always good Tuesday’s mornings are nice and slow. Highly recommend this place. Shouldn’t be a 4.3 it’s a great establishment and amazing waffles. Keep it up 💛

Got The Hey Bob and it was yummy! I wish the apples had been warm and not room temperature. But otherwise it was still good and I enjoyed my experience. It was a nice blend of sweet and savory that really worked for me.

I love everything about this place, waffles tasted great, eggs are organic, they use real maple syrup, and nitrate free bacon. I wish all restaurants go in this direction. Prices are reasonable given the quality of the food. This is definitely a place to go for breakfast.
Bill W — Google review
We didn’t have the best experience at off the waffle today. We ordered two BMB waffles, a hot tea and a large orange juice. The tea tasted musty. Which is odd. The orange juice was delicious! I ordered two eggs over medium on top of the waffles. I specified, “I just want the whites cooked and the runny center” and they brought over two eggs over hard. The waffles were still good but far from spectacular for $40 bucks for two waffles. Service was slow. I waited at the register like 7 minutes before someone came out. Then we waited like 20 minutes for our drinks. I used to go here all the time, but I go less and less now. I think the owner needs to work on staffing. The folks working were very nice!!!! So it’s not their fault. But staffing was low. Plus I wanted to buy waffles to take home but the freezer was empty. Lots of room for improvement.
Ruth B — Google review
There really is little to no point in placing an order online for pickup at this location. I recommend not going to this location at all, for that matter. On three separate occasions I have arrived shortly before the time of the order, been told it would take 15 minutes, proceeded to wait around 3 times that, all while being told it was almost ready. Meanwhile, I am watching people with orders I have confirmed had a later pickup than mine walk out the door (including orders that were substantially larger than mine). Lying to a customer's face when they can tell you are lying is just not a great way to run a business. The real kicker was when they realized they messed up and offered me a *free orange juice*, which at that point was more insulting than anything else. That cup of juice cost the business pennies and that is the gesture when they make a mistake? Jokes on me for always leaving a good tip, I guess. They truly do not have a good system to make sure they are actually providing adequate service to their customers, at all. It seems clear to me at this point that the issue is as much the way the business is run as it was the employees themselves, as this issue has happened repeatedly and I have witnessed it happen to others while I have waited. Ultimately, I will not be returning to this location and will be advising others not to do so. Go to the location in South Eugene where you can get the same good waffles, but with actually acceptable customer service that makes you feel like they *want* your business.
Ethan L — Google review
If you’re anywhere near Eugene and you like waffles (or just really good breakfast), Off The Waffle should be on your must-visit list. It hits the sweet spot: creative, tasty food; friendly service; comfortable atmosphere. Five stars without hesitation. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Kaustov D — Google review
Finally a restaurant in the US that knows what an authentic liege waffle is. These are the best I e come across this far. I got a plain one to go -$4 along with the one I ordered. No complaints. I like that they have seasonal specials. The whipped cream looked house made. They pile it one pretty good if it comes with your order, otherwise you have to pay for a side of it.

Morning Glory Café is a charming and bohemian vegetarian breakfast and lunch spot that offers a variety of delicious dishes made with locally sourced and organic ingredients. The café has a laid-back atmosphere, perfect for enjoying house-baked bread, fluffy pancakes, hearty omelets, and organic coffee. With its crunchy hippie food vibe featuring items like tempeh and sprouts, the café also offers split plates for sharing.
Side of the spiced tempeh was our absolute favorite. French toast and the morning glory sandwich were delicious too. Loved that I could skip the sweetener for the chai. The staff were attentive and extremely kind. Even on a busy Eugene marathon weekend they remained cheerful. If you get an outdoor seat and you're lucky, you could watch freight trains pass by the Eugene Amtrak station

Cute diner with friendly service and atmosphere. Vegetarian with a lot of vegan options. They have a wonderful mushroom gravy and always use fresh, quality ingredients. This morning we had the Belgian waffles with fruit and the morning medley (sram led eggs and herbed roasted potatoes (Yum!) and toast with a side of avocado. Everything was really tasty- and generous portions- except our Belgian waffles arrived cold. It’s a reasonably priced, family-friendly, and charming spot to eat.
Mary S — Google review
One of my favorite spots in Eugene. I ate eat here with my family every time they come to town. Wonderful vegan and gluten free options. Wait times can be long so I usually get here before 9am and it’s not too bad.
Elizabeth C — Google review
I’ll start by saying if I had looked at the menu before coming I might have said no thank you. I’m a sausage and bacon kind of guy and it was breakfast time. I’m very happy to say I’m glad I didn’t poohpooh this place! It was summer and it was busy. They have a lot of servers, so you are never without coffee and water refills. The menu? They are vegetarian or vegan. Everything. But I had an omelette with “soysauge” and it was absolutely delicious! Came with roasted potatoes on the side. Wife had waffles with fruit overflowing them and they were also delicious. Turns out, I’m happy and surprised to say I definitely would recommend. Very reasonably priced as well. They only do breakfast and lunch, just a side note.
Sean W — Google review
Super affordable which automatically gives Morning Glory a good start. The “shredded potato shell” is hash browns with extra steps. They didn’t elevate the dish and made it a bit harder to find/create good bites. Over rated. Overall, tasty and filling for the price point. During a busy brunch rush, I noticed many tables sat open for long stretches as we were waiting to be seated, so the wait was certainly longer than it needed to be.
Alex B — Google review
Really great food I love that it’s all vegetarian and vegan. Lots of food considering the affordable price. Service was friendly. I highly recommend for breakfast! I got the omelette with tempeh, and the French toast.
Seraiah A — Google review
I’m no vegetarian, but I was pleasantly surprised by this place. I ordered the French toast and was delighted to see that my plate was abundantly decorated with 6 large slices, all subtly dressed in a luscious strawberry purée. Well decorated, quaint and delightsome. The only problem with the atmosphere was the noise level, my headache was ever growing, but the food kept my head clear.

We love this cafe which serves the best organic food. We loved the smoothies, the biscuits, the eggs, the tomatilla sauce, the potatoes and the marble rye toast. A+.

Buddy's Diner is a classic American eatery known for its generous burgers and traditional dishes, all served in a retro-themed setting. Customers have raved about the efficient service and delicious food, with many expressing their satisfaction with the portion sizes. The diner seems to be popular among locals and visitors alike, drawing praise for its friendly staff and inviting atmosphere.
Came here on a late Sunday afternoon for brunch. Our server was amazing. Our food was delicious and it came out so quick! Hubby said the pancakes was the best he had in a long time. And I ordered a gluten-free Cali melt with avocado. So they have gluten-free options! The atmosphere was so cool as well. Highly recommend!

Great little diner and REALLY busy. Fresh food, good service. The potato salad was tasty. Reasonably priced, I would return. Careful paying cash out or asking for change. The young cashier didn't count out my change and shorted me $5. I laid the cash down in front of her to rectify, which she did. It was awkward though, as soon as I laid the money down she commented, "Did I short you?" Hmm, maybe count it out next time? 👍

That was some of the best food I’ve had. Went on a whim on a Sunday morning during the holiday and were seated within 5 minutes. Incredibly friendly staff. Didn’t even judge me for ordering 17 things (slightly kidding) and a milkshake for breakfast. Portions were huge and the quality was off the charts. Coming back in 2 days.

This was a random pick for breakfast on our road trip to California. I must say I'm happy we chose this place. The astatic of the old-school diner was welcoming enough for my wife and I. Then we were greeted by a very pleasant staff and was seated immediately. Things only got even better when Stephanie a.k.a "Sunshine" our server came over and welcomed us first timers to this place. She took the time to go over everything patiently and killed us with her hilarious personality 🤣 At this point, if the food wasn't great, we were already so happy with this experience, but no way... there's more! Ms. Su shine brought our food out, and man, it was to die for. Everything was delicious. I could go on and on about our experience here, but I highly recommend that if you haven't been here, take the time to try it because you, too, will be blabbing about how great it was 😁

Genuinely could not believe how fast the food came out. It was delicious! As a transplant from the southeast, getting my hashbrowns with American cheese melted on top, a la Waffle House, is such a treat. The biscuit with marionberry syrup is divine. A bit pricey with all the fixins, but a nice gift to myself on a rainy Sunday morning. Long live the classic diner countertop!
Elly H — Google review
The wait was over 30 minutes on a week day and it was packed for such a small space but definitely worth it. Some of the best chicken strips ive ever had, the breading on them was delicious and the onion rings are to die for and if thats not good enough you'll definitely get filled up on one of their delcious milkshakes. I highly recommend giving this place a try!

Stopped here for breakfast and were really impressed with the food and the service. They were busy and we had a short wait to get seated. Hideaway Bakery is an eco-friendly bakeshop that offers artisanal, wood-fired breads and pastries, along with organic coffee and sandwiches. In addition to its bakery offerings, the establishment serves wood-fired pizza on Tuesday nights during the summer. The menu features top-quality breakfast and lunch options, including seasonal soup and salad specials made with Willamette Valley fruits. The patio is open year-round with heaters in the winter, providing a sandbox for children to enjoy while their parents relax nearby.
My family and I dropped by here before heading for the Amazon outdoor pool. Lovely alternative atmosphere and friendly service. The pesto sandwich was awesome. The service was fast for ready made products. We had to wait 30 minutes for the sandwich but it was worth it. We also took some freshly packed sourdough bread with us for the road.

I wanted to love this bakery, because it’s right near my father‘s home so when I come from New York, we could have beautiful pastries in the morning with our coffee. While the people that work there are lovely, I don’t at all see the hype. The cinnamon bun, the croissant, and the espresso in the latte, make me realize that people in Eugene don’t know delicious coffee and pastries. Maybe I am just spoiled from living in New York City and Europe (Paris, France and Florence, Italy) but this bakery needs something WAY more than flour and sugar, it needs taste. Don’t waste your time in the line. It is a cute little location, however.
Rae D — Google review
Beyond the great food, I love coming to Hideaway for the neighborhood friendly atmosphere. Unless it’s pouring rain, I like to sit outside, but the cozy indoor tables by a big fireplace are comfy, too. Everything I have tried here (from pastries to breads to sandwiches and pizza)has been delicious, and they make good coffee!

One of the BEST Bakery and Breakfast eateries we have ever visited. The owner Mazzi and his staff were kind and super nice. We were visiting from the NJ/NY and recommended to go here by our niece who lives in the area as the best in Eugene. I would say one of the Best in the Country!

7/30/25 - The owner of Hideaway Bakery read my original review from 7/23/25 and refunded our meal because of the poor experience we had as stated below as well as letting me know that staff would be informed on how the situation should have been handled. Therefore, I have changed the stars given from 1 star to 4. I really appreciate that they did this, and this makes me want to give our experience there a 2nd chance. I have never posted a poor review, but my daughter and I had a bad experience at Hideaway Bakery yesterday. I called at 11:50am to order our sandwiches because my daughter had a short lunch break. When we arrived at the bakery to pay for the sandwiches I told them I called in my order. After waiting over 30 minutes and seeing people who ordered after us receiving their orders, my daughter asked if ours would be ready soon because she needed to go back to work. They said somehow they lost the order and would make them right away. Finally, at 12:45, we got our sandwiches, and my daughter quickly ate half of it on our way to drop her back off at work. The bakery didn't even offer to make it right in any way. I had added a 20% tip when I paid, which was not deserved. Also, the tables under the cover, which were shaded each had a single person on a laptop at them, so we had to sit in the full sun in 90-degree heat. It was not a good experience at all, unfortunately.

I was super excited to give this place a try, there was decent amount of people so we assumed it must be pretty good. Outside was cute, heaters were outside and a place to stay inside with a fire pit. Waited about 15 minutes in line- not bad there was a decent selection of food and pastries and bread. The very disappointing thing was waiting an HOUR for 2 okay sandwiches. I was suprised they didn’t even say it would be a long wait just for a sandwich. MOST places when there’s a long wait you get notified or something. We got the food and it was okay. A little spendy for what you get and was not worth the wait. I got there at 9am and left almost 10:35am and had to just eat in my car due to a few hour drive back. Would be better of just going to the Cresswell bakery and would have been able to get good food in a timely manner. The staff at the Hideaway bakery seemed snobby and very short. I normally tip well and I love little bakery’s but will not be coming back. And would recommend if you’re hungry and want food in a timely manner-don’t go. Even if the wait time would have been stated that would have been incredibly helpful.

We had an awful experience. In short, do not visit here on the weekend, or unless you have three hours to wait, and don’t have to order gluten free bread. It took over two and a half hours to order and receive our food, when it arrived, one of the four items ordered was missing, one of the orders was wrong and even though we asked for gluten free bread, regular bread was given causing one of our party to become ill. The server did what she could, but had to tell me that the missing brunch dish wasn’t sent to the kitchen with my order, and that they could make one but it would take a lot of time. I will never return. The coffee was great, and it was a cute place, but neither of those things can justify a return visit. I wish I could take back the nearly three hours of my day I spent there. Two stars given for the food since the two dishes of the four ordered that were correct were good. But I cannot overlook the incorrect order, giving us regular bread instead of gluten free, and completely missing one entree even though it took over two hours to get our food.

This cafe was highly recommended while we were in town. We arrived early before the crowds and I was excited to try the Parisian. Unfortunately there was some miscommunication about the ovens and we would have had to wait over an hour and fifteen minutes for a sandwich. Very disappointing especially on a weekend during the Track and Field Olympic Trials when you know the town of Eugene will be busy. We did have nice espresso drinks and got a free pastry. Edit update: I returned a year later and it wasn’t any better. We ordered three simple sandwiches (two were the same and one was a breakfast sandwich) and it took 41 minutes from the time that I paid to the time that we received our order. It was around 2p. That’s excessive.

Wandering Goat Coffee Co. is a unique artisanal coffee roaster and cafe in Eugene, offering a funky vibe, live music on weekends, and a variety of food and drink options. The cafe features an eclectic atmosphere with ample seating inside and outside, adorned with artwork available for purchase. They are known for their top-quality coffee that highlights the origin of the beans. In addition to delicious vegan pastries, they also serve Japanese burgers and specialty cheeses like hazelnut-apple goat cheese.
Wandering Goat roasts my favorite coffee in Eugene! The coffee shop itself is full of life. A great place to get into a conversation or sit by yourself with your favorite brew. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Eugene.

Love the vibes and all the seating indoor and outdoor! Got their chai and cinnamon roll. The cinnamon roll was top notch I just wish the chai had more spice. They also have local artist perform every once in a while! Overall, will be coming back to try their coffee beans and catch a show!

Literally, some of the greatest coffee I have ever had! Such friendly vibes, such great staff, really cool ambience ♡ heavily recommend the “hair of the dog” beans!! ☕️
Eddy — Google review
Numerous people touted they have the best beans in Eugene, and I’d have to agree! We tried the salted maple latte, and a vanilla latte, and both were well crafted. The maple latte tasted best when the salt hadn’t dissolved yet, which makes me think I should just sprinkle salt on all my lattes now. Friendly vibes, funny yelp reviews posted on the wall, and they bake all their items in house. Plenty of bike parking located right outside.

Amazing local coffee shop. Fresh and yummy pastries. Bold and delicious coffee and espresso. Great ambiance. Friendly workers. They also host all ages events and provide a safe space for everyone in the community to come out and support local art and music. Great job Wandering Goat and crew!

Excellent coffee! Wow. Just bitter enough to not bite back and have a lot of flavor while also having a really creamy and smooth finish. Apparently they do quad shots by default here so very strong too! Coffee cake is delicious. Cake is moist and the crust on top is perfection.
J G — Google review
One of the best coffee spots in Eugene but go early (they open early enough that you can grab a cup at 7:00 am on the way to work). Like most places here, later in the day even the lattes turn from smooth velvety to sour/bitter. They have daily fresh baked vegan goodies, fluffier and softer than most but if you're used to traditional/regular biscuits rolls etc than it will likely not satisfy. Good to know: anytime a fruit is mentioned in baked goods description they mean jam. They have board games/bathroom/local bulletin board, and while the wooden table/benches are uncomfortable they are clean and spacious.

Was lovely once again, music is chill vibe . Food pumpkin bread was delicious with my cafe au lait. Drink Could’ve had an extra shot for a little more coffee flavor but was good. No sugar needed barista steams milk to almost Carmel the milk sugars! Must come back again soon!

Bagel shop
Nestled in the charming Southeast Eugene neighborhood, Lox, Stocks & Bagels is a hidden gem that serves up some of the most authentic bagels outside of New York City. Each bagel is lovingly hand-rolled, boiled, and baked on-site, ensuring a fresh and delightful experience with every bite. Their classic bagel and lox dish comes adorned with red onions and capers for a burst of flavor.
Small, simple, but full of flavor. The staff was super friendly. I don't eat bagels but they smelled absolutely delicious. I also heard other customers giving compliments about how good the bagels are. I had a white fish salad that was top notch. Almost everything can be made into a wrap or salad if I'm not mistaken.
Victor K — Google review
A top recommendation from our Airbnb host, my brother-in-law, nephew, and I popped in for breakfast on a Sunday morning around 9am. There was a line, but it moves quickly. The bagels come out warm and chewy and they have a variety from sesame to chocolate chip to blueberry. They have a number of cream cheeses, but no sweet option. The sausage, egg, and cheese bagel sandwich on sesame was filling. Coming from the East Coast and used to New York City bagels, I found the bagels to be fine. My relatives, coming from small town Washington, loved the bagels. They also offer a full coffee menu. My hazelnut latte was basic. It got the job done, but wouldn’t win any awards.

Best bagel place in Eugene and Springfield. Great customer service and delicious bagels. They're locally owned and I love supporting our local businesses here in Eugene. Stop by Lox Stocks and Bagels and you will not be disappointed. They are also great with kids.

I adore this place. Most definitely the best bagel spot in Eugene or Springfield. If it’s busy, it’s not gonna be fast but that’s just how the cookie crumbles when you’re at a place that really cares about their food. Half the time that I go I get a second bagel for later. And the staff are always great. 10/10. One of my favorites.

Best bagels in Oregon! I travel throughout Oregon for work and i try em all. Add the perfect egg every time and a ton of ham? This is where i pick up a bakers dozen and give them out in Portland when i get home! This place and the crew both rock! Me likey. Me want more

Literally the BEST bagels in Eugene, my entire family goes feral for these things. And there is such incredible service! We had Danny, Bri, and Cece today and the service was phenomenal! Warm, kind, and definitely a place you want to go back to!

Update 2/16/24: we've been regularly getting bagel breakfast sandwiches for the past 2 years here, but today's didn't live up to the normal standard. The bagel wasn't toasted like I think it normally is and the cheese seemed like a cheap sliced American instead of a good cheddar. It didn't melt like it normally does. The bagel also seemed smaller. I'm hoping this is just an "off" day and not a regular thing. Previous review: Stopped in today and grabbed some breakfast. So happy we did! The options are fantastic! The employees were all friendly and helpful. They had some great suggestions. The bagels are a perfect crispy outside, chewy inside. Can't wait to go back to try the Mediterranean cream cheese! I heard it described after I had already ordered mine and it sounds soooo good!

The Original Pancake House offers a casual setting to enjoy signature pancakes and classic American breakfast dishes all day. The menu features a variety of options, including the popular tropical syrup made in-house with real oranges that pairs well with coconut pancakes. While some find the price point interesting, others appreciate the good food and friendly staff that creates a family-friendly atmosphere. With multiple locations across different cities, this restaurant is known for its quality breakfast items beyond just the famous Dutch Baby.
The food is simply and beyond delicious! I recommend th3 "The Special " with pumpkin pancakes 🥞 😋love the in house made whipped cream! Service is friendly and warm. Quick and efficient. A place to enjoy.

We were lucky and came around 8:30 on a Sunday, beating the crowds. We were seated right away but there was a full waiting room when we left. This is a no frills old fashioned diner with an extensive menu so something for everyone. I was feeling simple so I ordered a scramble and the pancakes on the side. The pancakes are everything you would want, fluffy and flavorful. The scramble was simple, like something you would make at home. I only wish the menu offered more combinations to be able to try more dishes because they all sounded so good. Having a pancake sampler or the option to upgrade sides would be a nice touch.

This joint was fantastic! Pancakes were delicious and the thick cut extra crispy bacon was amazing. Everything was well cooked and seasoned. Service was fast and friendly. The place was absolutely packed but they kept things moving very well. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a legit down home style breakfast!

I recommend the Buckwheat pancakes for their whole grain flavor, they're delicious! The service is always great and fast, the menu is filled with numerous variations of combo plates and fun things to try. When upgrading for pancakes to a waffle, be aware this is a $6.00 upgrade. Also, the fruit being served that day that's written on the white board at the entry falls under the Seasonal Berries for $12.50. Clean restaurant, tight parking.

Unreal breakfast. Love the inside as well. Owner was super cool. Waitress was awesome. Was only stopping through and asked her about things to do in the area and where was best to stay. Great experience. Pancakes were killer.

Really good place. Very fitting for Eugene, tons of T&F posters and magazine covers on the walls. Menu is old fashioned, so is the design of the restaurant. Waiting room has photographs of the community. There is a photograph of Caitlyn Jenner at the restaurant in the waiting room. Service was great, super friendly and professional. The food was great, hearty and tasty. Just a great dining experience overall.

I have been to 12 different original pancake house locations. This is the only one I would say. I will not return to the service. Was lacking at best and I thought and I felt like I was in a fancy Denny's. As far as the atmosphere went, the food was as always wonderful. But the rest of it made me honestly a bit sad. This did not measure up to original pancake house standards.

Independent roasters with their roasts leaning towards the lighter side of roasting. Their bagel was seriously super delicious. Crispy, crunchy exterior with a gooey dough center - but not too doughy that you need a week to let you jaw heal. Great, friendly staff! Thank you!

Glass House Coffee is such a cozy and welcoming spot. The staff is super friendly and the whole place has a calm plant filled vibe that makes you want to stay awhile. I had one of their signature drinks and it was amazing, smooth and rich and clearly made with care. I’ve heard their food is great too so I’ll definitely be back. Super Cute Coffee Shop Next to the best Taco Shop in town! The staff here was pleasant and super helpful! They sell great Coffee! Their Caramel Breve was top notch! I also ordered the Golden Tumeric Latte.. It was very spiced, beautiful, but not my favorite. But that is just my preference. Mi Cafe + is a cozy and relaxing cafe that offers delicious food and a great vibe. Guests can enjoy a variety of beverages in actual mugs for a cozier experience. Although the kitchen is currently limited due to vandalism, the cafe still offers an inviting atmosphere with plenty of seating and parking available.
The food is bomb and very affordable. As you can see, the portions are generous. The americano I had was delicious, too - the espresso was light and tasty, not too bitter and overwrought like some other establishments. It was cozy and I liked hanging out. My one disappointment was being served plastic utensils with my breakfast, as I was dining in. I'll definitely be going back often, but will probably say no-thanks to utensils in the future.

This place is so cozy, it happens to be a block from my house, I decided to stop In on what ended up being their opening day. It's owned by two friends, one has a passion for coffee, the other is an entrepreneur. Hands down, best mocha I've had, perfect temperature and bitterness/sweetness. They are very friendly and are always playing mellow jazz or other chill music. There are couches and a few nice tables and chairs. Would definitely recommend this place and I'll be stopping in for a drink whenever I need a comfy place to write and drink excellent coffee.

Today was my first time at Mi Cafe. First of many, might I add. The espresso here is amazing. They literally use awards winning coffee beans from Bend, OR. But that is just the start, they know how to prepare them. The staff is really knowledgeable about coffee and clearly takes pleasure in preparing the best-tasting experience for their customers. Can I be a regular from the first visit? I think so!

I recently moved to a different part of Eugene, and this will 100% be a frequent nearby stop from now on :) I ordered a champurrado, which I'd never heard of, and the staff kindly explained that it's a thicker hot chocolate-all I needed to hear 😁 Added a shot, and ordered a pastry that was delivered to me nice and warm! 10/10 experience, and I'll definitely be ordering more champurrados in the future! 🥰

American restaurant
Restaurant
Cornucopia Restaurant is a casual American spot housed in a converted house with a beer garden. The restaurant offers the same great menu at all locations, featuring award-winning organic burgers and American fare. Guests can enjoy indoor and outdoor dining, curbside pickup, and delivery. The Chicken Fried Burger is a must-try for brunch, topped with two fried eggs and sausage gravy. While some found the prices high for the quality of food, others praised the delicious chicken pot pie.
We stopped here for lunch after being picked up from the Eugene airport. There was a parking lot across the street that allowed for 3 hours of free parking, otherwise there’s not much street parking around. There were some dining tables available on the outside as well as plenty of seating inside, they had no difficulty in seating a family of four right away. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and it did seem to get busier while we were there, but not crowded. Our five year old was given crayons and a kids menu. She ordered the buttered noodles and fries (I know I know, not the healthiest) and finished Every. Single. Bite. Parents, that’s a win for me, cleaned the plate!! Money well spent in my eyes. Oh! Kids eat for $5 by the way, everyday! That’s cheaper than a happy meal friends. Okay now the adults had burgers and fish tacos. All were amazing. The burger menu has endless options with different flavors, but I went with a mushroom Swiss burger and others ordered the butterfly bleu and fish tacos. The buns were toasted perfectly and you had the option of either a quarter or half pound burger. They make it fresh and you can taste that. The burgers were served with delicious crispy fries and the tacos came with rice and beans. We also had 10 barrel IPAs with our meal (not the child obviously, but she did cheers with her juice) There were so many things I want to come back and try, French onion soup, garlic nachos, a chicken pot pie. Take my money! Lastly, our server was incredibly sweet, patient and helpful. Thank you so much for the positive experience at Cornucopia.

That was a great burger. When we sat down we asked our server what is good (they have a nice well rounded menu) and he said that they were known for their burgers. We started off with a plate of fried cheese curds to share, and ordered four burgers (the smuggler, curd is the word, wild Bill’s, and a cheesy American). The curds were great and disappeared quickly. The burgers were big and super delicious. For sides, we got fries, tots, and Cole slaw. All were good and my wife declared that it was the best Cole slaw she had ever eaten. Our server was also the bartender. He was busy but still managed to check in on us regularly and gave us great service. Great food, will definitely return the next time we are in town.

Food was okay but definitely not good enough for the price. In my opinion this was not a 20$ portion of cheese curds.

We are visiting from out of town, we saw this online and looked the menu over. We decided that’s where we wanted to go. The food is delicious and the staff is very pleasant. Fresh flowers were even delivered when we were waiting for our food. Quaint neighborhood gathering spot that I would highly recommend.

Really good food and drinks. Got a gift card from work and decided to treat ourselves to some award winning burgers. Did not disappoint. The regular french fries were a little on the crunchy side, but everything else was on point.
Jennifer U — Google review
Food and service were good. Deserving of a 4 star rating at least but the prices were a bit high for the quality of the food. Maybe the foodie in me expected more, but rightfully so when I’ve had great food for less. Still worth trying. Some of their other menu options seemed like they’d be worth trying. Was told that our chicken pot pie was delicious and fresh! Attn: Chef- go easy on the BBQ sauce on the Ohana burgers and switch up the bread. Hamburger buns usually aren’t so flaky and dry .

The best American food in Eugene, in my opinion! I've tried so many of their menu items, and none have disappointed. My favorites are the chicken sandwhich (in photo), the fish tacos, and the cheesy bacon dip! The ingredients taste fresh and delicious. I love the atmosphere and variety of seating options! My favorite place to sit is out back. There are warm heaters overhead, and hi chairs are available for little ones. The staff is always so friendly. My server yesterday was Eve, and she was so sweet and caring. I highly recommend cornucopia!

A fantastic brunch spot. There is sometimes a little bit of a weight, but if you’re in a smaller party with two or less, you can normally get seated pretty quickly at the bar. The staff were very friendly and had multiple check up on me. Their suggestions were great also especially with the different syrups for the coffees. I love the atmosphere and the new location is much bigger. The food looked colorful and was very delicious. I was served the wrong coffee but the server quickly replaced it. My only complaint was that the prices were too high. And that's why I give them 4 stars. The coffee of the month was Raspberry Mocha, which was 5.50 plus $1 for raspberry and $1 some other add on. $5 for a scone, ok. But the "special" banana bread was $8. It was heavy and as dense as a whole loaf. I might return to try a waffle, but not until payday.

I can't praise this place enough. Fantastic variety of dishes, entirely gluten free. The service was amazing. We came for breakfast on a Sunday and it was packed but we were able to get a table right away. The Belgium waffles and veggie scramble are out of this world. Dope little coffee shop. This place is an antonym to Starbucks…the coffee isn’t bitter, it’s full flavored with flowery notes and smooth with a nutty cocoa aftertaste. Instead of coffee cups and marketing on the walls, it’s draped with hand woven rugs for sale, one prominently woven with the Persian classic “tree-of-life” design. A great respite for the “leave-me-the heck-alone” type or a nice place for a dad and daughter chat.

Great coffee and wine bar! I’ve been coming here for years. Perugino always offers a relaxed, classy atmosphere that makes you feel like you’ve stepped out of Eugene for a bit. The service, space, and vibe are consistently great. It’s one of the city’s best spots to slow down and enjoy a slowed down moment in your day.

Really nice cafe in town. Ordered a dark mocha latte and a croissant. The latte wasn't too sweet and really gave the dark chocolate a chance to shine. The croissant (which were freshly made today) were the perfect consistency, soft and flaky with just the right amount of butter. The place has nice really warm vibes for the atmosphere, with chill music that also doesn't sound like a spa (if that makes sense). Super nice barista, just really nice place all around. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

It wasn’t the worst, but the mocha did not taste that good, however the presentation, even in a to go cup was really pretty(: The cheese danish was really good!

I wanted coffee and lunch, since this was close we decided to give it a try. It's definitely going on the list of places to remember! The barista was patient and helpful with my questions. The food portions were perfectly sized and delicious. I had the savory egg sandwich, but I forget what my husband had... either the formaggio semplice grilled sandwich or the tacchino al pesto grilled sandwich. For drinks I had a latte and my husband had a dirty chai.

Love this cozy spot. I’m convinced this is the best coffee shop in Eugene.

Such amazing coffee and treats!!! I got a mocha and chocolate biscotti and they were divine. There is limited seating, and little bit of close corridors. But it is worth it for the coffee.

Noisette Pastry Kitchen is a charming bakeshop located just west of downtown Eugene, offering an extensive selection of sweet and savory pastries, along with coffee and tea. The bakery takes its name from the French word for hazelnut, which is Oregon's official state nut. It prides itself on using high-quality local ingredients and old-world techniques to create a delightful array of baked goods.
If you've never been here, you should RUN here now! I must say, the food here is so off the chart delicious, no matter what you order! I have been here several times & thought I did a review, but I guess I didn't. Anyhow, I got the Coconut Creme Tart, my gal pal Emily got the Chocolate Mousse Cake. Emily had a house coffee made into a mocha & I had a decaf Americano. I seriously wanted to order 15 different items & take them all home! I always order something different when I go, because the flavors are all so creative & exclusive. I will be back! ♡

This is by far the best palmier I have ever had. and their hot apple cider was pretty delicious. I was unfortunately really disappointed with the macaroons, not sure if they were just overcooked today, but they were really crunchy, very different from what you would expect. Staff was very kind and the atmosphere is so welcoming, seems like a great place to relax and enjoy a coffee

While beautiful from the outside and enticing to the palate, I was underwhelmed. The virtue signaling is pretty typical to the area? I guess I believe in living it (love), so it's off putting to see so much signage. The service did not match in kindness. I found myself wondering who they reserve the right not to serve? Isn't that curious? The veggie pie was fine as was the herbal iced tea. Not too polite. I cheated with gluten and took a digestive enzyme. Probably not worth it. 🫤

Great local spot, cozy seating area, vast selection, amazing price point. Stopped in on our way back to Portland. I am a die hard carrot cake fan and I would have loved to give these cake cookies 5 stars, but honestly, I was overwhelmed by the dry, overcooked cookies so much so that I couldn’t even tell you what the middle frosting tasted like. The custard tart, however, was where it’s at. Rich inside, creamy, and flaky crust. The whipped cream frosting on top was a bit dry too, however, so I’m wondering if our late, last minute stop, end of day visit was a contributing factor. I would like to think that the pastries cakes and tarts can last an entire day. But I’m mostly a consumer, not a baker anymore. I would definitely recommend this spot based on your taste preference and sweet tooth.

Delicious pastries, cookies, bread, sandwiches, and so much more! I’ve heard about Noisette for a while but hadn’t been to eat. Then I went two days in a row. 😋 I went too late to get bread though so I recommend going early in the day if you want their breads to take home.

Noisette sits with poise at the corner of Charnelton and West Broadway in downtown Eugene. Though given the French name for the humble hazelnut, this place may be the empress of bakeries in Eugene. The pastries they had on a random Thursday afternoon when I walked in: the blackberry nectarine pistachio frangipane. The strawberry lavender Tres Leche cake. The mixed berry tart with fresh cherries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, and two kinds of stone fruit. The coconut custard passionfruit curd which is gluten-free presented so elegantly. The yummy carrot cake sandwich. The coconut cream tart. Then you wander over and you see the olive oil white wine cake. For just $4.95. The lavender lemon tea cake. A cherry custard tart, the palmier. The hazelnut cloud cookies the pecan cloud cookie. The chocolate chunk shortbread cookie. The flourless chocolate cake. And then you see the savory options. The ham Greer on brioche buns with sweet pickles, lettuce, sweet mustard. The caramelized onion sweet red pepper leeks and mozzarella focaccia. The vegetarian savory tart which is leek, kale, artichoke heart, sweet peppers, goat cheese. But my favorite and the one I chose roasted lamb sandwich on sourdough with cucumbers, roasted tomatoes, grilled onions, and harissa aïoli. Next time it will be the mozzarella, tomatoes, and basil on baguettes with pesto. I'm not even gonna talk about the Hand pies. All this coming out of one bakery. The presentation is so beautiful. You almost don't want to eat it. And somebody here really loves their plants. They open from 8 to 6 Wednesday to Sunday. All bakers have to rise before the crack of dawn so deserve a break and they take their weekends on Monday and Tuesday. If you're not sure what to get talk to Emily she was super helpful.

Went here twice in the past 24 hours, savory the first time, for lunch, and then sweets for breakfast the second visit. Everything was outstanding! We also got a baguette to go. Also excellent. The service was very friendly. I would be a regular if I lived in Eugene.

Excellent pastries, atmosphere and service. The chocolate croissant and sausage hand pie I had were excellent - flaky and moist. My drip coffee was average. A little flat with bitter and sour notes (not much complexity of aroma/flavor). Perhaps sitting a while since initial brewing? (I wish I could find a place that did single pour-overs somewhere in Eugene.) I’d return for the pastries for sure! (And I actually did 2 days later, to get some for the flight before we flew out.)

Restaurant
GJ's Family Restaurant is a bustling spot known for its generous American breakfast and lunch plates served in a cozy, casual setting. The portions are notably large without compromising on quality, such as the half order of biscuits and gravy with hash browns and eggs. The restaurant has maintained its excellent food over the years, offering giant servings of hash browns and burritos. Despite being packed with satisfied customers, the place exudes a relaxed atmosphere with friendly service.
I’m from out of town and was looking for a decent place to grab some breakfast. After looking through the reviews from several restaurants in the area, I decided to give this place a try. I was NOT disappointed! The food here was delicious, great prices, friendly service and ample parking in their parking lot. The pancakes were literally the size of a dinner plate and thick! They tasted great. The fresh fruit was fantastic and not over-ripe or mushy like some places I’ve been to. The coffee was great as well. They also have lunch items but my experience is limited to the breakfast items. Overall I enjoyed my dining experience and will definitely be back the next time I’m in town. Thank you for providing good quality food with great prices and friendly service! I highly recommend this restaurant.
Kelsey D — Google review
This place is very cozy. It's decorated nicely and has a homey feel to it. The food was good; it was what you would expect from a diner. The portions are HUGE. The price point is perfect for the amount of food you get. I took half my burrito home, it was so filling and delicious. The biscuits are huge! The gravy was good, too. I'll definitely be going back.
Blair H — Google review
Pancakes: moist and flavorful, but also tough and glutinous. The syrup was basic and not real maple syrup. The butter was a fake vegetable oil butter substitute Hash browns: crispy on outside and fluffy on inside, but unseasoned. Which I fixed myself at the table Chicken fried steak: crispy and good. Well seasoned. The gravy is the same with the biscuits and gravy Biscuits and gravy: the biscuits were rather obviously store bought and dry. But they were okay. The gravy was seriously lacking enough sausage and alt. More sausage would have fixed the salt and flavor issue. Overall, I didn’t mind it. Coffee: black, mid.

The food and service was amazing. Huge potions great prices. Will definitely be our new breakfast place and will recommend to everyone.

GJ's is 'beyond great'. I was introduced to GJ's at breakfast several months ago by a man who went to high school with me almost 50 years ago. He sold meat to local restaurants his entire career. So, it was no surprise to me that he knows all the best places in town and GJ's breakfast proved I was right about that. Well, this time I had lunch at GJ'. My first thought was to try the Reuben but I am rather picky about those so, I went with another popular choice... their patty melt. OMG. Folks: the patty melt is the best I ever had. My lunch date had the club sandwich, which she absolutely loved. About 2/3 way thru lunch, the waitress brought over half a Reuben sandwich, no charge (!). They really wanted me to try their Reuben and, it was as good or better than any other I ever ate. (In fact, only the Reuben at Gracie's Sea Hag in Depot Bay is sometimes-better than GJ :):):) The quantity of food was surprising, both of us left with another meal in a carry-out box. We made plans to eat at GJ's at least once per month for a while because all their offerings are likely to be 'best in class', just like today's lunch. The only thing left for me to do is contact my high school buddy to thank him for introducing me to GJ's. At the same time, I will definitely invite him out to the "steakhouse of his choice" because I am certain he knows where to find the best steaks in town. (GJ's is a breakfast lunch restaurant, they open early and close at 2. )

Great family diner with huge portions, great food & nice people. The menu has lots of options for different palates. We dove right in & forgot to take pictures… I got the Special, which was an omelette version of Eggs Benedict & hubby got the chili cheese burger. Both were really good & a LOT of food. We will definitely go back!

Other than the extreme noise of a jammed packed place, with a ton of happy, fullfilled folks talking & eating, this place is the Cat's Pajamas!!! Everything is beyond Giant portions & it's all fresher than fresh. Been here a few times & I will keep coming back! By the way, their Biscuits are plate sized & so light & fluffy. I have never, ever, had a bad meal here! One person in our party ordered Lunch, he had a Chili Size with Homefries & the rest of us ordered Breakfast.
Eileen F — Google review
Busy Sunday morning, great customer service, prompt attention, and great food for the cost. Homemade biscuits are light, fluffy, and large. Garlic marinated fried finger steak was medium rare, scrambled eggs and hash browns were perfectly cooked. The pancake was huge and delicious, just like grandma used to make.

Breakfast restaurant
Located in West 11th Eugene, Oregon, Coffee Plant Roaster is a popular coffee shop known for its amazing coffee and delicious menu. The cafe prides itself on using fresh, organic ingredients from local farms and offering house-made baked goods. Customers rave about the biscuits and gravy, avocado toast, loaded home fries with chorizo, kale, caramelized onions, and crema. Additionally, the cafe offers gluten-free and vegan options along with breakfast burritos and their house hot sauce.
Great atmosphere for coffee and breakfast. You get great quality here. Found one of my favorite places. Also service with a smile from the staff. When I was here line was out the door. That says a lot!

Absolutely amazing coffee and hands down one of the best breakfast burritos in town. The cooks in that kitchen are making magic.
Jeremy R — Google review
Great coffee shop. Coffee is good and strong. The food is amazing. Good size portions. You won’t be disappointed.
Tina T — Google review
We ordered the breakfast burrito and avocado toast with a house coffee and tea. My only complaints are that the avocado toast, which was beautifully portrayed on the website with an abundance of edible flowers etc, actually comes out on a thick cut, dry piece of bread with NOTHING but avocado and an overwhelming amount of red pepper flakes and that the availability of the items on the menu are largely inconsistent from day to day. The coffee is very acidic, but decent. Otherwise my breakfast burrito was phenomenal, the staff are patient and the environment is really nice. I also like that they have vegan/gluten free options!
J R — Google review
Café with spacious, industrial-vibe interior. Food options are quite extensive and every item we tried were well put together and tasty. Coffee was equally good and organic juice (made in-house, I think) tasted fresh. It takes a bit of drive to get to, if you are passing by Eugene via I-5, but I think it is worth a bit of detour.
Peter K — Google review
This place has good coffee. But the avocado toast is outstanding. The ricotta cheese sprinkled with everything bagel seasoning really makes it taste good. And the toast, whatever bread they use and it's thick cut, and they add an entire avocado on top. I also had them fried egg and put that on top. Excellent. Baked goods are also good, lots of variety. But the avocado toast is really the thing to get. I would come here daily. Internet access in case you need to work. Older clientele. Easy parking. Great atmosphere. Half of it is quiet and wood decor. The other half is a little more Cafe open feeling with tile and local artwork. Again, must highlight the avocado toast.

Consistent and professional: Each time I go in, I order the Café Borgia and this time was no exception. It was a very important meeting with a close friend after a life event for our family, and they remembered drink order from 15 minutes upon entrance and made it swiftly after porting my friends coffee. I sat comfortably at a window seat and we chatted for over an hour without interruption, and also enjoyed a tall glass each of lemon water. Will go down as perhaps my best visit yet to the establishment, where Is honestly have to think long and hard for a single complaint the several times I've relied on them for a simple but fantastic coffee fix. There's no better choice for coffee in the Eugene/Springfield area, so if you're visiting, skip Starbucks and enjoy ambiance with your beverage and not be another number -- become family.

Wonderful spot. I do miss some of the pastry options that seem to have become absent since that pandamnic thing. The coffee is delicious and this is my go to place for stocking up for my home espresso supply of beans. Wish they would offer eggs Benedict. I feel like they may be the only place to get them right and do so consistently.

I always go to Magpie when I have an essay or a test to study for. I have a summer class I am wrapping up for and went in last week. I love how much sunlight there is and I always get an iced latte with oat milk and usually a baked good. I got the biscuit with butter and jam this time and it was really good. The staff is also really friendly and the music is at a good volume. I really recommend it for a nice study spot.

My daughter wanted a peppermint mocha and we were told they crush candy canes on the top but there was no peppermint flavor at all. We were told later if we had ordered whipped cream it comes with the crushed candy canes. My friend ordered a matcha chai and she said it was disgusting. My eggnog mocha was decent. The place was so busy we couldn't sit at a table inside or hear each other speak. There was available seating outside under giant overhead heaters but it was still chilly with the crisp winter breeze. Located in the 5th Street Avenue Alley with a free 3 hour limit parking lot nearby.

For a small coffee shop this place had a lot going on. Good coffee, of course but also delicious biscuits. I had the biscuit sandwich, which unfortunately went down my gullet before I was able to take a picture of it. My wife had the roasted veggies with poached eggs, and we got a jam bar to go. It was a delicious dessert later in the day. The outdoor seating boosted the atmosphere and allowed us to people watch and listen to the live music that was going on nearby.

Magpie Coffeeshop always has a tasty treat that I must have. The Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie is Peanut Butter Mousse on a Graham Cracker Crust topped with Dark Chocolate Ganache with a swirl of Buttercream and Candied Peanuts. This pie is luscious and one of my favorites. The Biscuits are square-shaped and truly delicious. We love to spread homemade Pimento Cheese on them. We appreciate that you are offered jam when you order Biscuits to go. The staff are nice and get your order ready quickly.

Magpie Coffeeshop is very convenient to the Gordon Hotel. It has great food at surprisingly decent prices served up in an airy, spacious interior. We ordered takeout so we could eat a quick breakfast before hitting the road. We devoured the food before I could take a photo. The egg biscuit is huge! I opted for the breakfast bowl, which includes braised greens, potatoes, and poached eggs (it’s worth adding the bacon). Coffee is great. I wish I could have stayed to write a postcard. We’ll definitely be back.

The coffee was good and the coffee cake was tasty. But as with every service industry now days you tip before receiving anything. As soon as I hit the tip (which was 20percent) the staff seemed annoyed if I asked for anything. I politely asked if they could go light on the ice after I watched them fill someone else’s cold brew to the top with ice and they seemed annoyed that I asked. I also asked if they wouldn’t mind warming my coffee cake but it felt like I was asking them to do me a huge favor. Not a welcoming atmosphere at all. Will not tip ahead of time anymore.

The cafe serves breakfast options like Toby's toast with tomatoes, pickled onions, avocado, and spices, as well as yogurt fruit parfait. Visitors appreciate the friendly staff and beautifully decorated space.
Meraki is a lovely café — beautifully decorated and cozy. We ordered a London Fog tea, which was really good, and a latte. For breakfast, we had a cheese bagel and a scone — both were tasty! The restrooms are located outside the coffee shop, but they were clean. There’s a parking lot right next to the café, which is very convenient.

Solid 4. Coffee was good. The staff seemed indifferent. Definitely not even close to service industry kind. They had maybe 4 pastries in the case. I recommend the salted caramel latte. Parking is a bit of an inconvenience but there is plenty of seating inside and outside.

Beautiful cafe and delicious beans and menu. I had the avocado toast. There are plenty of places to sit inside or outside. My main concern was that they run out of supplies so early in the morning. We arrived one morning before 9a and they had just run out of supplies for their Saturday Morning Latte (SML) that I wanted to try. Better planning could prevent that.

Going to my top 3 breakfast spots! Glad to see the hype is reflected in their flavor 🙌. My chai tea was … the best I’ve had in a looong time 👏🥹. Flavor was perfect and presentation unique! Avocado toast was very yummy. Very glad to see they did not go easy on the avocado! 👍😉 Last but not least my favorite of all was the lox toast! 😍🤤🥹… it was superb! For those who don’t like arugula, cilantro is the perfect substitute 😌

Happy to learn this isn’t a chain! I’m not from here and wasn’t sure because it looks so polished inside. I was waiting on my car at Les Schwab stuck in the blazing summer heat and their iced oat milk matcha latte was exactly what I needed! I only regret not getting a larger size, as I downed it way before I reached my car. The service was extremely fast and I was surprised when the barista brought it straight to my seat! Wonderful experience, I’d give more stars if I could.

This café has a simple and elegant interior that gives a rather cozy feeling. Although the espresso was slightly over-extracted and lacked a clean finish, it was still quite drinkable as an Americano. And London fog was pretty well balanced . I think I'll visit again on a Sunday when parking is convenient. I consider it a place worth recommending."

Farmers Union Coffee Roasters is a quintessential part of Eugene, prioritizing community and sustainability. The business offers discounts for customers who bring their own cups and utilizes a rooftop solar array to power the establishment. Their commitment to sustainability extends to sourcing high-quality coffee from sustainable growers. The cozy atmosphere makes it an ideal spot for enjoying top-notch coffee, teas, baked goods, and more. With ample seating and workspace options, it's also a great place to work or meet with friends.
When I moved out of Eugene, I missed Farmer’s Union so much. Every single item on their menu- both food and drinks is never a miss. Lattes, mochas, matcha, chai, the breakfast sandwiches, the yogurt granola fruit compote bowl. The interior of the space is also a beautiful old farmhouse reused as the coffee house. The space is perfect for meeting with a friend, getting work done (fyi there aren’t many tables near electric outlets so try to bring your device charged in advance), or simply chilling and taking in the tastes. Everyone is always so nice, but where in Eugene are people not, lol. Love love love 100/10 recommend.

Super excited to try this place. But my excitement certainly did not last long. I felt awkward. The person behind the counter just kind of stared at me, I feel like in almost disgust. The whole interaction just seemed off. Never been here so I wanted to order food, but I could almost hear the foot tapping as I was looking at the 8 items available. Got my food and eh, it’s not great! Also said thank you when retrieving my items only to get no response, just a blank stare. Needless to say this is listed on a Eugene’s influencers page on places to try but I will definitely be able to give my real review to her. I have never felt so out of place and super disappointed overall.
Brittany G — Google review
There are a lot of coffee shops and roasters in Eugene. Some of them are good; some of them are great. But none of them reach the level of quality, care, and kindness that Farmer's Union does. From their phenomenal fresh roasted beans to the wonderful seasonal beverages (don't sleep on that Orpington Latte!) to the best breakfast sandwich in town (fight me), there isn't a negative word I can say about this place. I don't even live close to this spot, but I will drive out of the way to grab coffee from then

Spacious coffee roaster boasting superb coffee and spot-on pastries. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting - the type of place that you could spend hours in with friends or reading a good book. The staff was friendly and the service was fast. I also love the fact that they’re open from 6am-5pm during the week. To put it simply, Farmer’s Union Coffee Roasters is everything that a locally owned coffee roaster should strive to be.

Farmers Union is consistently the best coffee in town (cappuccino is my measure), which is saying a lot in a town with many good Coffee options. Staff is super friendly and competent really into making quality drinks. Outdoor terrace is filled with two-tops and makes a perfect 20-30 minute mid-morning or mid-afternoon break. Food is great too.

This was a lovely place to find for breakfast. All food items were outstanding and the coffee was nice. The blackberry scone and biscuit sandwich were the best. The atmosphere was laid back and welcoming, and the drip coffee contraption was impressive.

I buy my beans exclusively from Farmer's Union at this point. Even with the additional cost to beans we've seen this year, they've somehow managed to keep their prices at a point that's doable while still letting me explore different varieties. Elmer's Restaurant in Eugene, OR offers a nostalgic diner-style setting where you can enjoy hearty portions of breakfast fare and comfort food. The breakfast menu is available all day, ensuring that you can indulge in their generous servings at any time. Despite being busy on special occasions like Mother's Day, the staff maintains top-notch professionalism and hospitality. The chicken fried steak is highly recommended, as it is cooked to perfection along with other menu items.
I ordered my food for pick up. The customer service was a delight. Very nice and welcoming and ensuring i got my food. The atmosphere is nice especially right next door to the hotel. Its like many chain places inside where you can sit and eat. I got the German pancakes, and my goodness I never had them before and loved them. The chicken apple sausage was decent. Overall, decently priced and not bad food.

This isn’t the first time I’ve had breakfast here and the food has always been good. Delicious breakfast! Excellent service. The fruit was fresh, everything was very well prepared. The lady who served us was very friendly the entire time.

Ask for DAMON! He was our server and he was phenomenal. This was our first time at Elmer’s. Damon was so nice and knowledgeable of the menu. Very personable. The food was delicious and the dining area was clean. The bathroom was immaculate.

I took my husband for his birthday. The food was delicious and the serving great. Damon was our server. He was fantastic. Very attentive. They even had beautiful roses in the ladies rest room❤️

The wife had the Wild Pacific Salmon. She wasn't impressed with it at all. I had the Hungry Rancher breakfast. Was excellent other then the eggs were runny, not cooked all the way through as I wanted. Our server's name was Damon. He has an awesome personality.

The service was very good and the booths are nice and private. I gave 4 stars because the food wasn't worth what I paid. I ordered the Ranch breakfast which had two eggs, bacon, hash browns and a biscuit. I upgraded my hash browns to loaded and ended up with a thin layer of over crispy oily hash browns that I took two bites of and couldn't eat any more they were so bad. It sure wasn't loaded! Maybe with a few microscopic pieces of onion or bacon. I couldn't really tell they were so small. I said something to our server and she apologized and asked if I wanted a fruit cup. I said yes. When she gave us the check she said she took off the hash browns but she only took off the $2.99 extra for them to be loaded. We probably won't eat there again. (The biscuit was the best on the plate)

This is a traditional, all American diner with all the favorites and experienced wait staff. The atmosphere in the Elmer's in Eugene, is a step up from most family diners. The coffee is good and I usually go for breakfast, but its also my favorite place to get prime rib.
Jamie K — Google review
This is a great place to meet friends or family for a relaxing meal. The service is friendly and attentive, but we had to wait a long time for our order. The prices are higher than I would expect for a family diner. I didn’t see any vegan options, but there are some vegetarian choices available. I had a vegetarian omelette and you can request no meat. The strawberry waffles, crêpes, and German pancakes looked very good. Two people in our party ordered the Eggs Benedict and said they were delicious.

Breakfast restaurant
Nestled in a charming and inviting atmosphere, South Hills Cafe is the perfect spot for breakfast and lunch enthusiasts. This light-filled eatery offers a delightful array of classic American dishes, from fluffy pancakes to hearty omelettes and satisfying sandwiches. The menu features standout items like the savory chiliques and Grandma's favorite breakfast burrito, which is generously filled with chorizo, eggs, black beans, pasilla chilis, and pepper jack cheese—all wrapped snugly in a flour tortilla.
Always loved the location, used to come here in middle and high school when a different family ran another restaurant here, the new family clearly loves the place and puts a lot of care into what they do. Nice mix of classic American breakfast food, and options for sandwiches and Burritos. They have breakfast combos for ~$10 which is always appreciated. It's not bougie or overpriced. It has the vibe of a small town middle American diner and I love that. Meal in picture was $22 but you can get it down to $20 if you get a cup of fruit instead of a bowl. Chicken Fried Steak with eggs over easy, sourdough toast, coffee and added the fruit side because I pulled an all nighter and skipped breakfast. 🙃

We went specifically to try their Mexican breakfast items. We ordered the chilequiles and Grandma's favorite scramble. Both were excellent and the portions are generous. The service was quick and friendly.

We love this place and have probably visited 4–5 times now! We usually come on Saturday mornings, and it’s not too busy. The place is clean, and we love the atmosphere. We’ve never had any issues with parking. All the food we’ve ordered and tried has been a 10/10. I love their coffee too and the cute big cup.

edit: at home with diarrhoea (& this was the only thing i ate today)0 stars not great, don't recommend, won't be back (should have gone to happy cow a block away for their breakfast bowl with sweet potato fries, or hideaway , but i wanted to give this place a chance) I give 2 out of 5 for many reasons. 1st, the bad : I ordered huevos rancheros with over easy eggs. I eat eggs EVERY day & almost always over easy ...& I've been around almost 6decades… I know how they're cooked; I usually cook them. I've also ordered them at a LOT of restaurants in the many decades have been alive. When I cut into my egg, just the white part, a gush of clear uncooked runny whites ran out; a LOT of the egg white was raw and uncooked The other one had only slightly uncooked whites, which I would not have said anything about. but the uncooked one was really potentially dangerous , especially as they are using cheap conventional eggs -which have a higher risk of salmonella my main criticism is : when I brought this up to the man working there, he told me that's how they make their over easy eggs. after telling me "that's just sour cream" 🙄 He did not see the uncooked clear runny white run out & fall to the bottom under the tortilla He just automatically told me that I was wrong & mansplained to me how over easy eggs are meant to be. as I said I'm an older person who has over easy eggs almost every day. I've even worked at brunch restaurants I know, apparently more than this guy, how over easy eggs are made & meant to be. if they really leave the white THAT runny/raw then… Well if you get sick it's probably that ... also they would be shut down by a health inspector. when a customer tries to tell you it's that bad, don't give them excuses or reasons & assume that they're just wrong, LISTEN to them. (this guy didn't even look very closely, & like I mentioned he didn't see the liquid that ran off underneath) So after the guy argued with me & gaslit & mansplained to me , he did agree to take them back & make me a new dish. It was embarrassing & annoying, I probably should've left… In case the kitchen was also pissed & spit in my food or something I stayed, hoping that they wouldn't dare The other criticisms I have are: there was very little flavour on this huevos rancheros. there were big chunks of canned tomato that just tasted like plain stewed tomatoes from a can on top & black beans which also tasted plain & like they were just from a can with no spices. They did give me a green salsa they make which was very good & added flavor. I ordered a side of chorizo to add more flavour & protein & it was bland, not spicy or all like I have ever tasted chorizo before; which I buy it quite regularly & love it usually. It was very greasy & they charged almost 6 bucks for a side of chorizo The last criticism i have is that they charge too much for cheap diner coffee. I understand the efficiency of bringing people a whole pot of coffee. you don't have to go back & give them fresh coffee a bunch , ...check on them . but I don't drink very much coffee & I want fresh coffee only. if you bring me a whole pot, in 20 minutes when I'm ready for another cup I don't want this 30 minute old coffee from the pot that you put on my table. I would prefer if I got the pot you just made because you served everyone else & it's fresh cuz u had to make more. I assume the almost $4 for a cup of coffee that is subpar is charged because of this seeming generosity of giving them a whole pot. Maybe you should reserve the whole pot, & the charge for a table of more than 1. or gave a ONE cup option The good about the restaurant : the servers were very attentive.a little too attentive sometimes but overall very good. The bathroom was pretty clean; the door was sticky tho. (pic is of second plate with eggs cooked right...if a lil over medium) o' the home fries were good but the menu's need cleaned...EVERY DAY

We had the HERBACEOUS and the BACK COUNTRY. Absolutely the best open face biscuit and sandwich. I took one bite of the sandwich and knew something special was happening. It was a ham sandwich so I thought to myself, why so good? Great bread, fresh ingredients, and perfect proportions. All in balance. The biscuit was awesome. Again well prepared with a terrific, toasted biscuit. I want to go back and try more. The guy at the register was an executive chef in Hawaii for many years. He’s super friendly. Just a nice guy making great food. Only good stuff here.

Moke's Coffee & Kitchen is a delightful gem for those seeking gluten-free and vegetarian options. With an impressive menu that includes not just salads but also waffles and various vegan dishes, it’s a refreshing change from the usual fare. Diners can enjoy quick service and delicious meals, like the popular GOAT dish, which leaves patrons eager to return for more culinary adventures. The atmosphere is relaxed, perfect for brunch with lovely outdoor seating available for sunny days.
I pass by this way often enough. So I stopped for a fresh cup of coffee. I ate a bit of a Waffle sample. The woman behind the counter was most professional. Welcoming in the extreme. Capable to the Nth Power. Gracious, happy and friendly. I will enjoy coffee here in the future.

Solid establishment to have a nice breakfast. They have lovely outside seating (no heating), which will be great for warmer days. The waffles were delicious and fairly priced. If compared to Off the Waffle, I'd chose this place instead everytime. Fast snd friendly service, bathroom was clean and they had a good menu selection.
Lora L — Google review
There is parking in the back which helps a lot with its location. More than one vegan option which is great! The vegan items I purchased were good but lacking some flavor. The price for it was decent though especially the taco which was actually quite filling and large. Atmosphere was okay and chill for a brunch time but I would suggest not looking up at the vents. They have mystery fluid sprayed out of them and all over the wall next to it - luckily it didn’t seem this way in the kitchen itself but kept me wondering. Lovely patio area to enjoy the food at instead.

Service was top notch! Had my sandwich and chai brought out to my table. The chai wasn’t as spicy but still good! The egg sandwich had this yummy sauce. highly recommend! The music was a little too loud, especially when it got busy so I recommend bringing headphones while studying.

Enjoyed breakfast and coffee. Love the taco choices and the gluten free options. Really good waffles. Would have given the food 4.5 but the scale isn't really great as to me 5 is just amazing and while really good, don't think it was quite a 5. But will be back as quality and price are really good

Not only was the meal good but they played happy birthday music for me. I recommend this place for a chill vibe and great time.

As a gluten-free vegetarian, I enter most restaurants expecting to eat another side salad or veggie burger. Imagine my delight when most of the menu (even waffles!) was GF optional and not 1, but several items, were vegetarian. For the first time in years, I was stumped as to what to order and had to take a moment to decide. 😁 The best part? The food, which arrived quickly, was delicious! I got the GOAT and was quite pleased. I’ll definitely be back to try more dishes. Thanks for being so great about dietary differences. I am truly appreciative.

Only Yolking is a popular food truck known for its amazing service and delicious food. Customers rave about the special fried bread pudding bites, which strike the perfect balance between crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The tater tots are also a hit, especially when paired with pesto cream sauce or spicy aioli. The some pig sandwich with honey mustard sauce is described as tasty, and they even offer snacks for pets. Visitors praise the B.E.A.
They are a very cute little food cart with delicious unique food! I don't know where else in town you can get the same menu items, and if you could, Only Yolking's food is high quality and flavorful! I also love their community work with dogs! (My dogs love getting their dog breakfast items)

Located in a food cart lot. Plenty of parking, on the street as well. Service great & friendly. Can't beat The B.E.A.T. Thick slices of Bacon, Egg fried perfect, thick slab of Avo, thick slice of Tomato...and slices of monterrey jack & colby, spicy aioili. The bread is toasted rather well done...I'm assuming to hold the Sammie together bc any less and all that juicyness would dissentegrate the Sammie. Son (very picky eater & amatuer burger conniseuir) had the Yolker's Smash. For him to say it was good earned the 5th star! [Came back again to try Some Pig. 5 🌟, again. So flavorful. How they fry an egg within the toast?! Such friendly service, again!]

Runny egg Sammies 😍😍😍, good quality eggs and meats served on Texas toast. I had the pesto one called "green eggs and ham" and my SO had the burger egg sandwich. Both were delish as we did split them up. I recommend this food truck for breakfast and brunch. They even have a doggie menu (mine just licked the yolk off my plate). You can get traveler's style with a hard yolk.

Holy cow, all the food was absolutely amazing. We tried The BEAT, Yolker’s Smash, Yolker’s Avocado Toast (pictured), The Big Cheese (pictured), and Just the Classic. Everyone in our party ate EVERYTHING, and two were kiddos. The customer service was TOP NOTCH. We had a wild, hungry 4 y/o, and the owner was so, so sweet. He gave her a coloring book, colors, and a Lego car to build. She was content the rest of the time. Thank you for such a great experience. We will definitely be back!

Wow wow wow! Only Yolking makes absolutely fantastic food! They catered brunch for our wedding and made the trip out to Loloma Lodge where our guests were floored by the delicious food coming out of the kitchen. Liz and Koa were so easy to work with and people I'd love to just hang out with. They were flexible with deciding what to serve for brunch, portion sizes, all the things. And they whipped up a feast for us to test the food ahead of time which made decision making all the harder when it was all so tasty. This was a highlight of our wedding!
Kelsey T — Google review
We stumbled upon Only Yolking without realizing it was a food truck, which made it even better— because we are food truck folks ourselves!! Koa and Liz were very welcoming. The menu options were great- creative flavor combos. We loved the tots- which were sooo filling! They were very generous on their guacamole/avocado, which is abnormal for many places to be generous with this- cuz you always are left wanting more. The servings are generous, presentation beautiful, flavors creative, bold and well balanced (creamy pesto and spicy aioli were both awesome!). Menu prices are fair- and food generous. The bread pudding was excellent and beautifully presented (and baked in their pizza oven). Atmosphere was quaint with picnic tables and a little squirrel feeder with hungry squirrels munching away on peanuts. Very enjoyable breakfast for our family. We talked stories for a bit afterwards as Koa is also from Hawai’i which is where we are visiting from. All in all definitely a place we would return!! Mahalo nui for all the aloha Koa and Liz!! "Ye Olde Pancake House" is a charming breakfast spot that offers delicious homemade meals and friendly service. The belgian waffle with strawberries and whipped cream, corned beef hash breakfast, biscuits and gravy, and omelets are highly recommended by patrons. The staff, including the server Martin, are efficient and create a welcoming atmosphere. While the decor may feel a bit outdated, it adds to the restaurant's charm.
Love this place. Old 70s vibe. Feels like IHOP of old when they were good. Blintzes great; Benedict great; hashbrowns great. Coffee is good enough. Service was quick and attentive. Check out that sweet stained glass (told it was made by a loyal customer).
Avery C — Google review
A busy breakfast place with reasonable prices and fine service. However, I am disappointed that they do not have avocado and spinach available to add them to vegetarian omelette. Food is bland to my taste. Vegetarian omelette has just a few pieces of veggies on top of the omelette but nothing in the layers. Hash browns are too oily. My overall experience can best be described as below average.
Sindhu S — Google review
Once beloved ye old pancake house. Is just that, once beloved. They have a lot of staff and they are seemingly attentive. Food is mediocre and not exactly what you order. I think their prices are extremely high for the food quality and not really being able to order what you want. They absolutely do not allow substitutions. Which is a rough thing, why throw out food or serve customers what they don't want? Seems very wasteful and not customer oriented. They have a sign as you enter that states "we have the right to ask you to pre-pay".(pic below)" Just gives off an ugly vibe, in my opinion. Restaurant cleanliness isn't the best either. The server was nice forgot the one drink we ordered until the very end. Food came out quick. But wasn't great quality. Just felt like it wasn't a great experience overall. Ordered a German pancake and got crepes (pictured below). Ordered chocolate chip pancakes and got regular flapjacks with a handful of choc chips on top. Just doesn't scream quality or experience to me.

Ordered the banana walnut pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon, and the chocolate chip pancakes. Food was good, the pancakes didn’t break apart when you dip into the syrup, which is always a plus for me. The banana walnut pancakes are regular pancakes topped with banana and walnuts, and the chocolate chip pancakes are cocoa pancakes topped with chocolate chips.

Terrys is nearby, so dropped in for Breakfast yesterday. Staff was great, got me seated and had water and a menu quickly. It smelled heavenly in there... and I asked a server passing by what that smell was. Apparently it was the french toast batter... lots of cinnamon in it. I was tempted! :) But maybe next visit. I order the Chicken Fried Steak breakfast (because I love sausage gravy!) It was excellent... one of the better chicken fried steaks I have had in a number of years. Eggs were perfect over medium as requested, and hash browns were crispy. Sourdough toast was yummy too. Can't go wrong with Terry's base on this visit! Cool decor too... real diner vibe!

What a great find as we were driving to get fuel on our trip home from Eugene. We didn't have any breakfast plans, but we like to support local business. Spotted Terry's Diner and thought it looked inviting. The waitress was friendly and our diner-style breakfasts arrived quickly and were adequate sized portions. Yum, it's on our list of places to return to.

If your looking for that perfect old school dinner vibe, Teri's Diner is where you want to be at! Pies is a rotating glass case, back to back booths, amazing service waitresses that know their restaurant, menu and food, and cooks inside out, clean restroom. I wasn't there for the food, but the music was comfortable not blaring and I met with a person who cut their teeth at and retired from Nasa Science and Engineering. We had met at the March and couldn't talk out there but had some ideas we wanted to share with each other. Great atmosphere for sharing intellectual and ebay conversation. I had already eaten but will be returning this weekend for a meal because of the enticing plates of food that passed by! A must experience!

Great little diner. The service was fantastic, the food was delicious and the inside had so much to look at.

The waitress did not write my order down, thus got it wrong! It was a bit flavorless compared to what I remember. I also had to remind her to get the drink I ordered (that again was not written down)! This place has gone downhill a bit....

Great food, exceptional service. Want comfort food? Get their stuffed hashbrowns (extra crispy). Thank me later 😉

If you're on the hunt for a delightful coffee experience, look no further than Dutch Bros Coffee! This vibrant drive-thru chain offers a wide array of customized coffees, refreshing Rebel energy drinks, cold brews, and teas. With its charming small-town vibe despite being a large company, Dutch Bros is all about friendly service and quick orders. You can either place your order in person or use their extensive app to pre-order your favorite beverages.
Stopped into this Location for the First Time Since Ya'all Revamped it. Unlike the Others who left bad comments, its the same old Dutch Bros, Staff was Friendly and the Service was Quick I always order a Hot Kicker, seems like everyone makes them different in taste, but that's not a deal breaker

If you visit Oregon or Eugene you have to get a coffee at “Dutch Bros!” The friendliest service ever and quality tasty drinks at an exceptional price. It was on our to do list for local fan favorites.

It says on the website and in some of the pictures there's a walk up window for ordering. That was a lie, drive through only. Walked from my hotel trying to get some coffee at 5am when everything else is closed. This is why Starbucks has always and will always be better

Thanks a lot Nora! It was my first time ever trying Dutch Bros coffee, and the one she recommended was really good! Plus, she has very good customer service.

It's a chain specialty coffee establishment. Large company with the small town feel. Drive thru windows only. Order in person or pre-order on extensive application. Has specialty coffee and small, quick premade food like muffins, chocolate covered coffee beans. Iced, blended or hot coffee beverages. Been to many different locations and always kind, friendly, personal service.

Tired of the greed. I remember when I could take my nephew in on his birthday and he would get a giant milkshake with extra chocolate caramel and sprinkles. No an 8 year old has to have ID or the app to get a free drink on their birthday. I had to take him home and bring back his birth fortifications to get him a drink, and if they only gave him a small regular milkshake. I get it people took advantage of it and they were loosing money on free drinks, but why make a kid suffer. I could understand having an adult show if, but a kid. Come on.

Horrible customer service. Wouldn't give my daughter her large birthday drink. Only wanted to give her a small. Told us literally "boo hoo" when I told her we were going to write a bad review and get ahold of corporate, and told us to go elsewhere. Would leave a negative star if possible. Made my daughter extremely sad and thats messed up to do on her birthday

The Pub at Laurelwood is a fantastic bar and grill establishment, particularly for those who have just played a round of golf. It offers pleasant outdoor seating options on its porch as well as picnic tables that overlook the golf course and surround the putting green. The cocktails are refreshing and flavorful, while the Salted Pretzel with its tasty dipping mustard is a good appetizer choice. The Sweeney Dog is an enormous hot dog that is highly recommended.
They accommodated a party of 8 for a birthday. Service was perfect. They got all the orders right in a timely manner. They were friendly and welcoming and had space all set up for us with the perfect view of the golf course. The menu was wonderful, and everyone was super happy with their food. I heard they got a new chef, and he's doing a wonderful job. Can't wait to go back. Solid breakfast spot with a relaxing ambiance.

We attended the 50 YEAR REUNION FOR SOUTH EUGENE HIGH SCHOOL.My husband Andy Young was in the class of 1975!! Its a nice place. Roomy and spacious for all the folks that were there!!! Staff was friendly, Bartenders made delicious strong drinks and it was the perfect place for the 1st night of a 3 day reunion!! Everybody was happy to see each other and we had a great time...Oh if you only knew the stories some of these people told about the golf club and the houses around there!! Lots of amazing memories and a beautiful view. PERFECT PLACE FOR A GATHERING!!

Had a great view of the golf course at sunset. Delicious food on a pretty straightforward pub style menu, I was delighted and suprised. Had the Reuben with the pesto salad and the Kibab ribs. Pub pretzel with cheese to start. Conveniently located also. We plan on re-visiting often.

It’s a restaurant and bar located inside the golf course clubhouse. At the outdoor tables, you can enjoy a meal and beer with a direct view of the golf course. From the indoor seating on the second floor, you can look out over the course while dining and sipping drinks. It’s an ideal spot for watching sports broadcasts with a beer in hand, and there’s no better place to unwind in the shade while taking in the scenic views of the golf course.

The Pub at Laurelwood is a good bar and grill spot, especially after a round of golf. They have some outdoor seating on their porch and even a few picnic tables around the putting green and overlooking the golf course. We ordered two cocktails to help cool off, and each was very tasty. We started with the Salted Pretzel that was good, the dipping mustard was flavorful. We both ordered the Sweeney Dog which was awesome! I am ashamed to admit it but this was the first hot dog I've had to eat with a knife and fork! This thing was massive. Definitely recommend the Sweeney Dog!

From Ross the Reservation taker to Chris the Server & all through the incredible deliciousness of our Sunday Brunch food, I have nothing but praise to give to this wonderfully nice establishment. I ordered the pick 3, I chose Cheesy Grits, 2 Eggs over hard pop the Yolks & half a Waffle with Whipped Cream & Maple Syrup. My Son & his Wife both ordered the half Cherry Chocolate French Toast & the half Biscuit w/Vegan Mushroom Gravy & a side of Eggs. We were all super full & super pleased. The flavors were bouncing with essence, the textures were perfect, I did not sneeze once (if you follow me, you know what this means) so that was a HUGE bonus! I haven't had Cheese Grits since grade school. I tasted the Cherry Chocolate French Toast, WOW WAS IT YUMMY. I even tasted the Biscuit with Vegan Mushroom Gravy & even though I HATE all cooked Mushrooms, I will honestly admit, this Gravy was to die for delicious. The place was bustling with tons of smiling patrons. The views were gorgeous even with the Forest fire smoke. They were out of Steak, which was what both my Son & DIL had ordered originally. Chris explained that this Brunch Menu (see photo) will be discontinued today, so since they won't be serving the Steak at Brunch any longer, they had only ordered in 3 from their supplier for today. We are excited to see what the new Brunch Menu will be & we shall be back to try other items from the regular menu too. Quality food, quality flavors, quality staff. You don't have to be a Golfer to eat here, you just have to recognize superior food, service & lovely staff! *SMILE*

What a (not so) hidden gem! Traveling, and only staying in the area for the night, I was looking for a place that wasn’t too far from the hotel that wasn’t a chain. This place popped up in my maps so I gave it a shot. I was a little confused because it’s tucked always in a residential neighborhood, and when you pull into the parking lot, it’s a golf course. It happens to be the clubhouse for the municipal golf course, so it’s open to the public. The views of the fairways are pretty amazing, and the food and drinks were very good. Service was excellent. Food was delicious. Came back for breakfast, and was not disappointed. Highly recommend!

Sam's Place Tavern is a hidden gem nestled in the industrial district, making it a unique spot for sports enthusiasts and food lovers alike. Recently, I had the pleasure of attending a 60th birthday celebration in their back room, where the atmosphere was simply fabulous. The service was exceptional; our dedicated bartender ensured that no one had to wait long for drinks, which kept the party lively and enjoyable.
Me and my woman love coming here! They have great food & drinks and the staff are friendly with good customer service which we appreciate very much. My favorite go to is the "Grand Sam" breakfast, best chicken fried steak in town!!

This place follows the typical sports bar format, with numerous TV screens and long tables perfect for gatherings. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, where you can watch live sports broadcasts. While the service staff seemed a bit understaffed compared to the number of customers, the food received positive feedback, especially the fried items. Overall, it’s a recommended spot, and I plan to visit again later. 😊

Coolest sports bar in town. It’s hidden in the industrial district which I would assume helps keep it the way it has been for so long. Food was hot and delicious. Service is quick and receptive. The open floor exposing the kitchen is a cool touch. From the bar to the bathroom, this place is really well maintained. This is my new spot.

This place is our crew's weekly meet up spot for Tacos & Margaritas! The amazing team (from out front to back in the heart of the house, they never fail to take care of us, regardless if we're a party of 3 or 14! They check off every need!! Taco specials on Mondays & wall to wall TV's for when there is a game on!! Plus, the girls behind the bar make probably my favorite (spicy with fresh Jalapeños) Margarita in all of Eugene 🎁 They give us a reason to look forward to Mondays 🙌🏻

Espresso Roma is a lively coffee shop that has recently expanded to accommodate more patrons, making it a popular spot for students and locals alike. With its inviting atmosphere and spacious layout, it's perfect for enjoying a cup of expertly brewed coffee or indulging in fresh pastries and bagel sandwiches. The menu features delightful options like the Everything Bagel, loaded with cream cheese, avocado, tomato, and spinach—all at an affordable price.
Love this place! It’s the best coffee shop near campus, with plenty of space for chatting, studying, and relaxing. They’ve got a wide variety of cheap drinks and pastries-I always go for their croissant sandwiches! The workers are all friendly and talkative, and it’s a great place to go if you’re practicing your Spanish. Highly recommend for anyone needing a quick coffee or a study space.

Well it’s one of those places that you’d probably hate but you keep going back to! The environment is very cozy and nice, beautiful artwork on the walls, but man o man.. there were egg shells on the floor, total messy counter.. half of the time some one would call: “Some thing something latte” and well you have to guess that is yours:/ we ordered 4 drinks one of which we got what we ordered for, rest were missing some thing! Though staff were super nice and friendly! I got a hot chocolate for my Mexican mocha😁 and the guy was like no no let me fix it and added a shot of espresso in there, and said does it taste cinnamon or did we forget that?🤣 the cherry danish was super awesome though! Cleanness: not so much! Service: nope Food: good People: nice Access: walking mostly

This is not a croissant. Definitely nothing like a traditional pain au chocolat, if that’s what it’s supposed to be. It’s not even pastry—it’s just bread.

I love coffee and cafes. Give me a latte and a place to sit and I’m happy. But Espresso Roma is one of the only cafes I’ve ever been to that I can say I dislike. I’ve been multiple times now and I am so disappointed every visit. First, the place is a mess, and just really gross. There are always tons of flies buzzing around the seating area. The building itself and the inside is dilapidated and clearly needs work. And not in a fun rustic way, in more of a “oh god this building is collapsing” way. I’ve also seen food prep remnants like egg shells sprawled on the ground. The coffee is not worth it either. It’s either incredibly burnt for me, or super watered down and bland. I saw someone say they poured espresso out of a pitcher and I wouldn’t be surprised lol. Lastly, the service is really poor. I am not one to care about customer service and I know baristas have a hard job. But holy cow, every time I order, it feels like I’M doing them a disservice! I did some digging, and it turns out that Espresso Roma received failing health safety scores recently. There were concerns about food being kept at dangerous temperatures and being prepped in the presence of bugs. They were instructed to order pest control, and they actually didn’t even do it until the health inspector checked in weeks later and asked them about it! Given the number of flies I see inside, this does not surprise me. So gross. I really want to like this cafe. The location is awesome and it has huge potential. But I cannot recommend it. There are no redeeming factors. You will be disappointed - take your money elsewhere.

Enticed by the pictures of the pastry case and word of good coffee, my partner and I went to this chaotic area near campus. Parking near here is an absolute nightmare, especially due to the construction going on around here, but was able to secure a spot, pay for parking and make our way for the first and last time to this establishment. The service was great... fast and friendly. The coffee was meh. I got a Mango pastry of some kind... it looked great and was really looking forward to it... sadly I think it had been sitting there for days and was the driest, most devoid of flavor pastry I think I've ever had a couple bites of before throwing it away. I don't recommend this place for food or drink.
John G — Google review
Super nice little coffee spot on campus. Especially love the quaint little courtyard which is perfect for studying or chatting with friends. The atmosphere is very calming and down to earth. The coffee and fresh made pastries are pretty good in my experience, and the price point is very competitive for the area, which is another plus. They have a good variety of pastries including seasonal fruits, and I actually saw the baker carrying fresh bread and pastries from the kitchen to the front of house. Overall, this place is adorable, well priced, and most importantly friendly and welcoming. I would recommend it if you're looking for coffee and a place to relax in the area.

Nestled in the heart of Eugene, Oregon, Bagel Sphere is a must-visit for bagel enthusiasts. Established in 1995 by Jim and Tamara, this charming eatery has become a beloved local spot known for its authentic kettle-boiled and stone-hearth baked bagels. With an impressive selection of 17 varieties made fresh daily, there's something to satisfy every palate.
Bagel Sphere is a true gem! The cozy and eclectic atmosphere immediately makes you feel at home. We had the pleasure of enjoying two Pearls, one on a sesame bagel and the other on a garlic bagel. Each Pearl was a delightful combination of plain cream cheese, fresh lox, tomatoes, onions, and capers, all on the bagel of your choice. The flavors complemented each other beautifully, creating a taste experience we won’t forget. The staff here are incredibly nice and efficient, ensuring a pleasant visit every time. A special touch for me is the sentimental value of coming here with my grandma during my childhood. Every visit brings back fond memories of us sitting by the window, watching the blue cars pass by. Bagel Sphere is more than just a place to eat; it’s a place filled with cherished memories and wonderful food.

Genuinely good food! Been here a few times and I have no complaints about the food nor the drinks. It’s worth making it out here instead of going to Starbucks or Dutch because of the quality. The staff is friendly and I love the artwork around the place.
Tally C — Google review
Honestly yall, when Bagelsphere is on, they're on! But man when Bagelsphere is off, they're so way off. My biggest issue is the lack of consistency every time we go. We always usually order the same thing and every time it's made differently. Sometimes we get our Willamette with the most beautiful greens, cucumbers, turkey piled high, cream cheese on both sides of the sandwich, etc. Other times we get handed a nasty sandwich that's been slopped together with basically rotten lettuce and cukes. Attached pictures don't lie. I don't mind to give my hard earned money to small businesses and tip too! But it's very hard to continue to come back and support a place that's just so wishy-washy with their food and customer service. A $15 bagel sandwich shouldn't have a side salad on it, nasty, slimy see-through cucumbers, and barely any cream cheese. Do better, please!
Ivy G — Google review
I visited a fairly old bagel specialty place The interior was much larger than it appeared from the outside, and they make and sell bagels on-site. Due to personal preferences, I didn’t order coffee. Honestly, the bagels themselves weren’t exceptionally special in terms of taste, but they offer a variety of bagel menu so I recommend giving this place a try.”

Not sure what happened. Place has gone down hill big time. It’s dirty and just doesn’t feel good anymore. Bathroom was filthy, napkin dispenser was empty and there was two rolls of papertowels ON THE GROUND, bits of toilet paper everywhere and the toilet was dirty.. I’ll assume they let non customers use the bathroom due to some liberal policy. Stick to your rules and don’t let street kids and meth addicts use the restroom us paying customers need to use. Same thing with the homeless problem, we need more tuff rules, not less or this sort of thing happens. If you make a rule, stick to it, whether that’s no non paying customers in the restroom or even employee rules for monitoring the cleanliness. Edit: got back to work only to realize they messed up my order. I asked for the pearl. No substitutes or removal of anything, just ordered as is. What did I get. No tomatoes or onions just cream cheese (too much at that) capers (wayyy to much) and fatty salmon (not enough).. dude, what the actually heck is going on over there!
D.J. — Google review
I don’t usually write reviews, but this experience was disappointing enough to speak up. I ordered the Bachelors sandwich & received something far below the usual standard. The eggs weren’t fried, but the kind typically used for bagel sandwiches. There was barely any goat cheese or jam, & no provolone at all. The sandwich was sloppily prepared, & as usual, the staff was rude. I come here weekly, but this was by far the worst visit. The ciabatta was the only redeeming part, & I only ate it because I was so hungry. This felt like a complete waste of money, & I won’t be returning.

Nestled in the heart of Seattle, Starbucks has become a beloved coffeehouse chain renowned for its signature roasts and light bites, all while providing a cozy atmosphere complete with WiFi. Picture this: on a bright New Year's Day, I found myself at one of the finest Starbucks locations after my nephew's impressive 5th place finish in a local 5k. The moment I stepped inside, it felt like entering an enchanting realm where time stood still.
By far the best Starbucks in town! I would drive out of my way to go to this location even if there was one closer just because of how amazing the staff is here. Drove into the parking lot to pick up my daughter, while waiting, a Starbucks employee came out and rudely asked me to move my car, I was not blocking traffic, or a driveway, this was late afternoon and no one was coming or going from this place. I turned my car around and my daughter was exiting the door so I waited for her. As the door opened, another Starbucks employee flipped me off. I was so shocked by this behavior, I’ll never give this Starbucks my business. Service at most Starbucks has been pretty bad lately. I’d rather give my business to the smaller coffee shops at this point.

Is it company policy to make the customer feel they are doing wrong when trying to pick up a replacement order??! Too long of a story just saying someone took my complaint and told me to come in whenever it would be on the house next time. Well I'll be damned if THE MANAGER passive aggressively accuses me of not talking to anyone and that it'll be replaced "this time". There will never be a next time. Judging me a liar and making it clear is horrible customer service and I'll let everyone I know about this. Profiling at it's greatest and worst ever.

A fine day today. My nephew ran the First Run 5k, placing in 5th place where he placed 5th. Afterwards we ventured over to the Starbucks..... Imagine if you will a morning like any other morning. A morning like no other morning, unique and individual unto itself.... So, we stepped through the magic waterfall and into Chock Full O' Nuts, I mean Starbucks. I almost went back in time in my imagination.... Very fine people working here. At the ready and zoom worthy. Especially this being New Year's Day. The manager needs to give these wonderful folk an raise and an bonus. Needs to be said, everything we ordered was delicious. No buckets of blood. Zero heads rolling. No car chases. Rated PG. Check it out. I know I will be again

Walked into this location for the first time this morning to find an empty store except 1 young guy chatting up the 4 female employees. I had a mobile order (also, first time using mobile order). I had to interrupt the chatting to get my order, to which I was told basically to walk to the other side of the store to go find it. It blows my mind that 4 employees are being paid to prioritize chatting with friends over basic customer service to someone who has never been to this location. I recommend Drive Thru if you really need to go to this location.

Spent some time doing my homework here and to wait for my fiancée to finish a test. Nice big windows for viewing, although I would stay away from them if you are cold. I enjoyed a tall hot mocha. Brought a warmed chocolate croissant and iced mocha for my fiancée and she said both were great. Service was amazing and I didn't have to wait long both times I ordered. Parking was fine when I was there, but there were a lot more customers going through the drive-thru than staying in.

We stopped here, for our first stop of the day. Busy. Hard at it young people going to town on it as only young people can get down and get with it you young people there's no accounting for taste young people for the most part young Americans dancing in the streets like heroes. This particular location stands out not only for its spacious layout but also for the warm atmosphere created by friendly staff members like AJ, making it a favorite spot among locals and students alike. While patrons enjoy consistent drink quality, there have been occasional shortages of oat milk recently—a challenge that seems to be affecting Starbucks as a whole.
Probably my favorite Starbucks to go to ! I go to school nearby and everyone there is so friendly especially AJ

The chai was very good/as is expected, but the table and chairs were sticky. The bathroom was... worse. No sheet on the back of the door for checks and initialing the maintenance tasks.... If Starbucks wants us to hang out again, maybe they make it a clean, comfy environment? #KISS

Three stars for the owner or management. Should be zero but your people who work in this place deserve 5 Stars. The dining room and rest rooms are closed to the people who spend their money here keeping the doors open. Why, you ask? Pull up a chair, have a seat and I will tell you - The City refuses to do anything positive for the community as regards the homeless population. Business is suffering. Consumers are suffering. Citizens are suffering. Neighborhoods are suffering. Still, the City, the Clinic, the Hospital, the Church continue to exacerbate the problem by running around in circles crying over the inhumanity of it all. Change has to happen. Physical change. Then you can deal with socioeconomic, sociomentality, and any other isms that suit your current philosophy towards others. Good people work at this Starbucks. Be supportive of their lives. Their livelihood. Their place in the Universe.

Never will I return to this location ever again! Shame on the store manager Rollan and the district manager for not following up on my complaint on Easter Sunday. Rollan was bias by her assumptions, actions, and execution of policy. Never have I been confronted and shooed away from any establishment in Eugene for not purchasing a drink immediately after my arrival. She accosted my Hispanic client and I in front of others. Back story: On Easter Sunday, I met with a prospective tenant and was waiting for his late arrival. I didn’t bother to buy a drink and hoped to buy drinks together. As he arrived late, we lost track of time and went into business as we finished exchanging our pleasantries. Then of a sudden, the manager interrupted and demanded us to buy a drink, since she’s been tracking our time. Her lack of decency was shocking and overbearing. She persisted after 10 minutes and accosted us to leave. I am a gold card holder and supported Starbucks for a decade al especially at the old location on 13th and alder. I will never return to this location ever again. Rollan is bias against unwanted customers. Shame on you!

Drinks at this location are pretty consistent. Lately they've been out of Oatmilk on a pretty regular basis, but I'm pretty sure that's a problem for Starbucks overall at the moment, not just this location.

Nestled in the heart of Eugene, Countryside Pizza & Grill is a charming eatery that offers a delightful array of hearty dishes, from classic chicken fried steak to comforting spaghetti and meatballs. This down-to-earth restaurant prides itself on crafting its menu items from scratch, ensuring freshness with daily-made dough and pizza sauce. Their pizzas are generously topped with high-quality Mozzarella cheese, making each bite a cheesy delight.
Just having a lunch out in the area, I had the liver which was a bit too dry. The gravy and the mashed potatoes was delicious though. My friend had a Taco Salad which was also good according to her. The daughter had Mac & Cheese. The french fries were the best I've tried in my life. The lady who served us was charming and friendly.

Been here 3 more times since my last update. I had the Chicken, Rice & Veggie Soup, the Split Pea Soup & the Asian Chicken Salad. The Soups were absolutely tremendous! The Asian Chicken Salad was only ok. Came here happily again. I had the Huevos Rancheros & couldn't finish the dish. I don't need them to come with hashbrowns or homefries, thats for sure! This is now my new favorite dish. I ordered it without green chilis, because I don't like hot spicy anything. Once I received my plate, I deconstructed it & put half my Egg, Cheese, Tomatoes, Sour Cream & Refried Beans in one of the halves of half a Tortilla & did the same with the other 1/4 of the Tortilla. I will have a VERY hard time not ordering this each time I come here now! I did taste the Salsa that came on the side & it had great flavor but it was way too hot/spicy for my wimpy palate. My dining partner had the huge Countryside Breakfast & enjoyed every single bite. Looking forward to my next trip back. I am adding the photos from this meal now. Debra wasn't here this time, but our servers were both very nice. I have been here to Countryside numerous times, previously with friends & I thought that I had reviewed it already! Sorry y'all. Anyhow, I have had Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner & Pizza here, with NEVER a bad meal or service. I have came out here to the attached Bar, Happy Hours & watched my numerous friends with Bands perform, while I danced the night away. I can't tell ya anything about the drinks here, because I don't drink alcohol but, my friends have all told me, that Happy Hours does pour a pretty strong drink. I will catch up with more photos, as I return back here again. Today we decided on Breakfast, because my Son & DIL had not been here before. My Countryside Bendict was beyond delicious. My Blue Cheese Crumbles were fresh & creamy, not tart or tangy bordering on bad, like I have experienced at other Restaurants. The Hollandaise Sauce here is the best I have had around town. I will ask for extra next time, because it's that good. I was thrilled at the amount of crispy Bacon on my Benedict & the cook got the way I like my Eggs, perfect. I always ask for my Eggs to be cooked hard/well & most cooks refuse to poach Eggs that way & that always forces me to have to send my order back, which I HATE doing. Debra our server was an absolute delight & she also was instrumental in getting my Eggs cooked my way. The English Muffins were toasted just right, so when I cut off bites of my dreamy Benedict, I wasn't having to saw through Bready Leather, as has happened at other Restaurants. The Hash Browns were expertly crisped (but not crisped dry), with flecks of tiny squares of grilled onion throughout. I really enjoyed the flavor. We all ordered Decaf & whatever company/roaster they use, is super, because it was strong & flavorful. My Son ordered the Shrimp Omelette, add Onions, minus Tomatoes, with Hollandaise Sauce & a side of Sausage Gravy for his Home Fries. His Home Fries were nice & Soft, not dried out Potato chunks, as he has sadly been served elsewhere. Here they put Onions & Bell Peppers in their Home Fries, which my Son said was great. He also ordered a Handmade Biscuit & said it was yummy. My DIL ordered the Build Your Own Omelette, but I forget all she put in it, besides Cheese, Spinach & Linguica. She got the same as my Son, the Biscuit, the Sausage Gravy & the Home Fries. She said she liked everything too. Our server Debra said she was new, but she sure didn't seem new, she was on top of her game & an absolute pleasure to interact with. The Restaurant is a long time establishment here in Eugene & I wish more folks would add it to their radar. As I said before, I have eaten a lot of different types of meals here, without disappointment. For those who follow me, my Sneeze-o-meter was zero here, which means, no chemicals, artificial junk, preservatives, flavor enhancers or weird stuff is used in the creation of the FANTASTIC food here! I hope y'all will come here & give them a try. Once you do, you'll be a regular, guaranteed. ♡

Pizza was damn delightful. Not sure if I ended up getting what I ordered (Rolled crust) or what I my receipt lines out (thin crust). Kid claimed it was the rolled dough, because the thin crust is cracker-like. The crust definitely crackled. And, the receipt says the pizza was thin crust… minor details… only bummed because it was delightful. I will be going back again. I just wanted to make sure I order the right thing. Kid was amazingly kind. Which, you don’t see in food service anymore. Very attentive and nice, without being pushy.

I hate it when restraunts just put things on their menu to fluff it up. If you cannot commit to a dish dont do it! Their pizza has always been good. They also do a a great breakfast. They should stick to that. I ordered baked ziti with Italian sausage for myself and spaghetti and meatballs for my wife. What a disappointment... my baked ziti Italian sausage was under cooked. And the dish definitely never saw the inside of an oven. It was sprinkled with a dash if cheese. When I think baked ziti I think of a pasta dish with a nice layer of baked on cheese on top. My wife's spaghetti was also sad looking the cheese wasn't even melted on top and not enough sauce. 😢

If i could get away with given this place zero stars that's what i would. The wife and i were out for a bike ride. Stop by for dinner Order the finger steak basket that was suppose to be made with sirloin. The meat was trimming. Another experience. I enter the establishment calm, cool, collectible, susceptible, erroneous, and magnanimous. I am ever at the ready for some heavy sport. Today, at this McDonalds, was no exception. I tend to order at the kiosk. I still interact with the humans. These humans who work here work hard. An off time of day that was full on flowing steady and busy. Our orders were prepared as they should be. No rolling of the dice. Straight up Mickey Dees as we all know it. Well, bye.

Worst slow service ever compared to any other restaurant, I’d never received service so slow. It was late before midnight and it took them over an hour to prepare three items I ordered. There was numerous customers waiting inside and the employees didn’t seem to care to work fast enough to do their job and get the orders out of there. They seem to be young, inexperienced college kids who don’t care to take their job seriously enough. With their slow service them being called a fast food restaurant was a complete joke, go to the other locations with better competence service.

It took 30 minutes for my food which was given from person to person and I watched the line for the counter not move for another extra 30 minutes while they only sent out delivery orders. I was in line for the counter because their sweet tea was out. My food is now cold and I have to go home and reheat it.

This restaurant was filthy. It needs a visit from the franchise owner to put things back in check. Dirty tables, chairs not pushed in, full garbages. They're not busy right now at 230pm, and have a full staff in the back. Unacceptable. Someone should be taking care of the lobby. Let's see if anyone addresses these complaints. I'll come back in a week to check for changes.

Its mcdonalds, one of the clean mcdobalds no doubt, they only had one trash that was overloaded and it was certainly in the process of being taken out. My only issue with mcdobalds these days is as they slowly get rid of the cashier they havent figured out that they need to leave the bathrooms unlocked because these people will stare at you from the kitchen, peaking through cracks between food clamshells, bags and equipment like tweakers until you yell at them to unlock the bathroom door. Seriously mcdobalds, since you are giving up on the customer service then leave the bathrooms unlocked so we dont have to stand around waiting for someone to finally accept that they have to talk to you. 4 stars because the bathroom issue which is an issue at basically all mcdonalds these days aside from small town mcdonalds where the residents arent vandals and druggies requiring the bathrooms to be locked. Everything else was good.

They can’t make food to save their lives. I’ve never gotten a correct order here. Went on a hiatus from ordering then today I ask for no round egg on sausage McMuffin and they leave the egg and take the sausage. Reading is fundamental and your employees should be screened for reading comprehension.

the service was great but those were probably the worst carnitas tacos I've ever had. the carnitas were dry, tough, and flavorless. Even after dousing it in salsa verde it still tasted bland. Usually pretty quick so I like to get lunch here (I even pre order) on my 30 minute break but lately it's been pretty slow, and unfortunately I'm not gonna be ordering food from here during lunches anymore due to them taking too long.
Laura M — Google review
They are more 'bagel shaped bread' than bagels, as noted on another review and I have to agree. They randomly add ingredients to your order that are not on their menu. You can't order something without onions because they will just put them on it anyway. Don't like tomatoes? They add those as well. I like tomatoes, but not on what I ordered... And I don't like onions. I actually selected something on your menu specifically because it did NOT have onions on it and then they were there. Also, for some reason they buttered my bagel so it was unable to have cream cheese or anything on it without it sliding all over the place and making a huge mess. Their cream cheese seems like watered down, so to speak, because it's very loose. Maybe I couldn't really judge it because it kept slipping and sliding all over the place. Also the entire sandwich just tasted like onions that I didn't order. I would gladly change my review if they would start following their own menu. I would also suggest they watch some videos about bagel preparation because, although I'm no expert, it sure seems like they're doing it wrong. I never used to have issues here. I'm going to forego coming here for a few months.

AVOID TRY ANY OTHER BAGEL PLACE IN TOWN. THEY’RE ALL GREAT. Edit: This was not posted under the wrong business as suggested by the manager, but my experience was a few of years ago. I chose to not post a review until now because I had a couple friend share a similar experience they had with the Daily Bagel more recently. As I said in my original review I had been to the Daily Bagel many times before, I’m not getting the Daily Bagel mixed up with any of the other amazing bagel places in the area, but guess management at the Daily Bagel would rather deny there had been consistent poor service at the Daily Bagel for years than address the problem. There is a reason they are the lowest rated bagel shop in town. My original review: I’ve had multiple bad experiences. I’ve been charged the wrong amount a few/most times, and never bothered to say anything. However the reason I will never be returning is the time I had the guy at the counter mix up my order with another persons. I was given a cream cheese and loxs bagel, when I ordered a vegetarian friendly dish. I found out by biting into my bagel. I had to drive back and ask for them to remake my bagel. The guy at the counter didn’t even acknowledge me, he just walked to the other guy, who got really angry and sloppily remain my food. There wasn’t any apology, I wasn’t even acknowledged, much less was it acknowledged that they were the ones that put me out. I was just handed my garbage looking rushed bagel, and that was it.
Jacob M — Google review
I ordered a chocolate bagel with plain cream cheese, but it unfortunately tasted like onions—likely due to cross-contamination. The bagel itself had more of a dense, French bread texture rather than the chewiness you’d expect from a bagel. It also took about 15–20 minutes just to get my bagel and an iced latte. The staff seemed disengaged and looked like they really didn’t want to be there, which added to the overall disappointing vibe.
Jessa F — Google review
This is the second time they closed the coffee bar before they closed. It doesn’t matter if you close in 20 minutes. If you’re advertising that you’re open until 1pm, then you should be able serve coffee. Plus, people still want coffee at this hour. Missing out on sales! Also, the staff make me feel like I’m a burden. They don’t even say hi when I approach the counter, they just expect me to start ordering. And, they carry themselves like they don’t want to be there. It’s sad because I like their bagels, but I can’t support a business where I don’t feel welcome. Definitely did not leave a tip.
TJ H — Google review
This is the closest bagel shop to my house and over the years I have eaten there a number of times. I have always recieved incredibly poor service from the employees along with completely mid food. When they invariably mess up my order there is no acknowledgement or apology, just a snotty and defensive attitude about it. I always feel like I am putting the employees out by frequenting thie establishment and my partner and I joke that the Daily Bagel must have a hiring process that selects for pointed rudeness in applicants. I usually pass by the Daily Bagel on my Sunday long run, but even after having run for 2 hours and wanting nothing more than a bagel, I can not bring myself to give this place any more business.
R W — Google review
Was already bummed I had to order from this place because BAGEL SPHERE wasn’t accepting orders and they rock. This place ALWAYS messes up your order, and they proved me right AGAIN. I ordered 3 bagels with cream cheese this morning through DoorDash and received 3 COLD, UNTOASTED bagels w/ cream cheese on them. There is NO OPTION TO SELECT TOASTED OR NOT TOASTED. I GUESS I ASSUMED THAT WHEN YOU ORDER A BAGEL W/ CC IT COMES WITH A WARM, TOASTED BAGEL. And of course DoorDash only refunds you $3. What a waste of $20.

McDonald's, the iconic fast-food chain that has been a staple for burger and fry lovers for decades, continues to impress with its delightful service and tasty offerings. During my recent visit, I was greeted by friendly staff who made the experience even more enjoyable. Today's medium fry looking kinda sad. Check your orders tonight.. med fry cold and barely a small...requested a remake. Today's large fry very lackluster. Updating with today's round of drivethru: 1 40 piece nugget & 1 small fry someone ate half of again before handing it over...then get side eyed by the person who ate the fries & had to make it right with a new one. Less than pleased with this small fry. Who ate the other half. Commen theme here.

I came here for lunch today and ordered a double cheeseburger small fry and sweet tea through the drive thru- nothing crazy. They immediately pulled me forward but there was nowhere to go because the spots were full so I ended up in a curbside spot. After waiting for 15 minutes I finally got out to intercept someone and ask and they said they’d never even seen my order come through?! I paid and got my drink it came through! 16 tons Cafe is a cozy place where people bring their laptops during the day and sit around with friends, talking and eating crepes of all sorts. The house coffee is strong and the beer and wine flows easily. The cafe name refers to a song about a hardworking coal miner who's in debt to the company store. The first time I heard the song Tennessee Williams was singing it and my mom who worked in a factory for much too long was sitting next to me. See you there.

Very cute and cozy. I went in around 8:45am today and it wasn't very busy. I ordered the "Herbie Gies Bananas" crepe which had bananas, strawberry compote, and chocolate in it, and a vanilla lavender latte. One of the better cups of coffee I've had in awhile. The crepe had a good amount of toppings, a lot of powdered sugar but it was good.. The staff were really pleasant too, they got my food and coffee out to me really quick! It started to get busier by the time I left around 9:30am, but the noise level still stayed to a minimum. I would definitely go back to try their other food! :) it does share a parking lot with a lot of other places, so be prepared to walk just a bit( It is handicap accessible though.)

Even though they were not busy, I waited a half hour to find that the "original breakfast sandwich" is just 1 egg and 1 slice of cheese. Service unfortunately was less than good and the coffee very acidic. Giving 2 stars simply for parking availability and outdoor seating.

Nice little place nestled in by the other shops. I was very pleased to see gluten-free items on the menu including the buckwheat crepes! My partner got the goat cheese salad and Diana sandwich and both were really yummy too. The dressing and nut clusters on the salad were especially yummy! I love this cafe and want to come here more often again, but during my last visit I had a small concern I wanted to share. The young woman with a brown slicked back ponytail seemed distracted and was arguing on the phone when I came in to get a box, and she wasn’t very friendly when taking our order. I understand everyone has off days, but I felt a bit uncomfortable. Just wanted to share so it can be addressed, as I love coming here and appreciate the usually warm environment. Keep making that yummy food Chase Gardens ☺️

I live in the neighborhood and I LOVE this place. Great coffee and treats! I come here whenever I want to avoid cooking lunch or a light dinner. Everyone is so nice too!

Only regret is not trying this place sooner. They have homemade soup AND it did not disappoint! I got Tomato Cheese soup and a Cobb Salad (the blue cheese crumbles are SO good) with homemade ranch! I’ll be back, thank you :)

The morning of 11/22/24 at around 8:00 AM, I called to order three coffee-to-go containers for our employees. I specifically requested the order be ready for pickup at 11:00 AM to accommodate our 11:30 AM meeting. Upon arrival, I found the parking lot completely full. I proceeded to the drive-through, hoping to retrieve my order there, but was informed that this was not possible. I explained the lack of parking, but the staff was unhelpful. Forced to park a block away, I had to make multiple trips to carry the containers individually. Despite four employees being present behind the counter with minimal customer traffic, no one offered assistance. This lack of service and consideration was extremely disappointing.

2/25/25 11:10 AM: Asked if I could use restroom before ordering (so I wouldn’t have to leave my stuff out while visiting restroom). Was told “most Starbucks are going to tell you no.” Ummm, I’ve been to Starbucks all over the world and never been told no. Starbucks: do better with your CSX training at this location.

Whoever the lady was that wrote this on my cup made my day! Thank you, the employees are always so nice here.

Dirty bathroom, batista's seem bitter and manager is rude. Only Starbucks I have been in with out music playing. What a sad Starbucks.

BEWARE. My partner went to this Starbucks (West 11th) yesterday and had an interaction with an employee that was pretty frustrating. Order made, about $10, and when the price came up it was closer to $15. She said something about it, he said... no, the total is $10. She asked why the machine said $15. He said total on cpu was the $10. So she paid, trusting. Got receipt, which was $15. Asked manager over, who backed up cashier. A $5 tip had been added. My partner explained that she hadn't put that tip on there. Wasn't worth battling over $5 but we won't go back. End of story... I do wonder how many customers have had tips stealthily added to their orders and not realized. Tips are fine but this is BS.

Food gets a 3 because you can never go wrong with frozen food. However, the way they keep filling my drinks way below the rim is crazy. This isn’t the first time either, sadly. Got home, didn’t take one sip off of it, then opened it and realized that definitely isn’t a venti. Such a rip off and waste of my money.(From March 2nd 2025) I understand being short staff, but don’t forget to take breaks because being rude with customers on their birthday is never the answer. (From Oct. 26th 2024)

Order was correct, but they had a lot to say about our order, and made fun of the extra substitutions that I requested and paid for. Not only did they vocally complain as I was ordering, they wrote "So much effort" on the cup. Not professional or kind at all. Not the Starbucks way.

Renowned for its iconic burgers and crispy fries, this beloved chain offers a quick and satisfying dining experience. Whether you're grabbing a meal on the go or enjoying a casual outing with friends, McDonald's remains a staple in the world of fast food, serving up familiar favorites that keep customers coming back for more.
Ordered hashbrowns. Hate how expensive they are but so good makes it almost worth the price. I get home and my hash browns are not brown at all. Figure it out people!

Went through the drive through Friday evening (9-5-25) around 4:30 I’d say, got a quick burger and fries, the girl at the counter literally handed me my food. Didn’t say anything except “here” What happend to customer service? what happens to basic human decency? All she did was look me dead in the eyes silent as could be! I’m Socially awkward yeah, but I still have some respect for people, these kids just don’t understand, and I’m one of em, 21 for goodness sake, constantly disappointed by my generation, can’t even say hello. At least the fries were hot.

It has become o continuous frustration with not getting everything you pay for! I just got home from the River Ave. McDonald's. I purchased 2 large French fries at $4.00 each. Plus the new Adult Happy land meal. In total $23.25. The vehicle ahead of me stopped, got out of vehicle and went back to the window because they left off some of her order. I did not get one of my $4.00 fries! On a previous visit I had asked for a Mcchicken wrap with no cheese ( lactose intolerant) along with my grandson's meal. When I got home not only was there no cheese but no chicken!! Just lettuce in a flour tortilla. I've been questioned by an employee if I really did pay for some of my meal before! NO!!! I WILL GO TO A DIFFERENT LOCATION! I AM SICK AND TIERED OF GIVING THIS MCDONALD'S EXTRA MONEY! I tried to call the phone number after I got home. "We are not excepting messages at this time". It's because you can't get your stuff together! Who is the manager? Changes need to be made!

I placed an online order and ended up waiting 30 minutes. They had me pull into a specific curbside spot, and I watched them bring my order outside—yet they never brought it to my car. I finally had to go inside to get it. The staff was extremely rude and told me, “We couldn’t figure out who ordered it,” even though they were the ones who told me exactly where to park. Our food was cold by the time we got it, and the order wasn’t even complete. Very disappointed in both the service and the quality.
Cassie O — Google review
We sat for quite a few minutes with nobody in the drive-through, inside, or curbside pick up line waiting. No big deal but then our drinks were forgotten, and when my husband went inside to ask about that, everybody was standing in the back talking and my husband was ignored until a manager acknowledged him. When we got home, we realized that our fries were also missing.
Ally F — Google review
Worst McDonalds ever considering the owner supports Jeffrey Epstien and Donald Trump it's no surprise. They don't even have coffee made because this McDonalds is unorganized and dirty.
Amy R — Google review
This is the second time in a month they have not given me a complete order and when I wanted to add on a drink that was missed during ordering there was an attitude that it was an inconvenience. I understand that it's a rush at times but that doesn't mean you have to act stressed out or like your customers are annoying. It's your job and I've had it before so I know exactly what it's like. I tried calling to let them know that half of my son's food was not present in the bag but they did not answer twice. Because I'm actually a nice guy despite the s***** service I've received twice, I'm not calling corporate which is going to be my next step. I'm trying to give them enough time to see this to get back to me. I'm still owed a McDouble meal and now I'm short another 10 chicken McNuggets. I will come back tomorrow to sort this out and if this isn't resolved and you basically try to steal my money then I will absolutely escalate this up the chain which I'm sure Patty will dislike immensely. Respond to me on here if you want or I guess just wait for me tomorrow. I will also change this review to a five-star if things are made right
Stan B — Google review
They are making me wait for food for 40+ minutes in the drive-thru. They are NOT busy. Idk why the frigg I'm even here. The fries always cold and bad, nuggets always cold and bad. Worst McDs on earth.

My friend, her son and my service dog have been coming here a lot for the past week. Staff is always super friendly and efficient. Please make a variety of pup cup for my doggo she would like to feel a part of the experience, too. Thanks for the bandana!

I like the vibes and the service is usually great. I wish the managers and corporate treated the workers better though. Supporting BLM and other marginalized groups' advocacy for better rights and treatment shouldn't put your job in jeopardy. That's why I can't give this company full stars. Because you guys have amazing staff. I know it's not an issue on their end.

I go to this location multiple times every week. I love the people who work here, but unfortunately after today I will not be going back to this location. I will go out of my way to go to a different dutch bros. I get the same drink every single time. Most of the employees know my drink when they see me. Within the last 2 months they have messed up my drink order so much. I always pay extra for 2 extra shots. They have been charging me for my shots, but not actually putting them in my drink. And then my drink just tastes like a chocolate milkshake. Also there have been several times I have gone and it tastes like their freeze machine thing isn't mixing right because the drink just tastes off and the consistency doesn't seem right at all. I have never had any of these issues with any of the other dutch bros I've went to. I love dutch bros but will never go to this location again unfortunately. I think id rather just go to a different coffee shop at this point.

SO good! YUMMY! Was looking for coffee, after a long day of driving and this place hit the spot. My fiance got the pumpkin caramel latte, and said "it was fantastic, and very smooth." I ended up getting the cookie butter chai, and it was very tasty. One of the better chai's I have had -- especially for a franchise!

Dutch Bros is a business with the best staff ever. They always have a great attitude and get your order ready really fast. I love the Nitro Cold Brew with a Soft Top because it's super creamy and delicious. There is multiple milk choices, so you can customize your coffee. Dutch Bros also makes a perfect Latte and Whipped Cream and Sprinks are always free. The app makes checkout fast because you can preload cash to your Dutch Pass. I love that they offer Whipped Cream and Dog Biscuits for your dog. Points are earned for each purchase and when you get enough you get a free drink.

Driving a Suburban with a 16 ft trailer, I could not safely maneuver the drive through. I pulled up next to the normal pull through lane from the opposite side and stopped. With only one car in the drive through, I waited for their transaction to conclude and asked the two broistas standing there if they could please take our order. There were four of us. We were refused because we were next to the lane to avoid damage to anything. I have never had an experience like this at DB. I guess walking 8 feet is asking too much.

Burger King is a beloved fast-food chain that specializes in serving up delicious grilled burgers, crispy fries, and delightful shakes. Many patrons rave about the exceptional customer service they receive at various locations. From friendly staff who go above and beyond—like offering fun crown hats—to ensuring every order is accurate and complete, the experience often feels personal rather than transactional. Guests appreciate the quick service with minimal wait times, as well as hot and fresh food that hits the spot.
I recently went to this burger king and had a great experience. Little to no wait time, the food was hot and fresh the fries were nice and crispy and the whopper was hot. The employees were very nice and calm and using good manners.

Slow service but not the crews fault, there were o ly two crew members, two ladies working, one cooking and one doing both drive up and walk in counters, the food was better than I have experienced in a burger king in a long time, good cook working and good customer service by this two lady crew; but that was not fair these two were the only ones holding down the fort.

Went in for a quick bite to eat. I believe Rachel (maybe Rachelle) took my order. She is super sweet. She made me feel welcomed instead of just being another order to take.

Service was incredible!! She even asked if i wanted crown hats!! Never had anyone ask me! Esp as a grown adult!!!! Made sure i got all my sauces and everything! 10/10 on customer service. Had to wait a lil bit to order and to get food but will go back just cause of the service. Emma is amazing!!!!

I paid $9 for the wrap combo only for it to arrive without my drink, my fries were not only cold but they were old and not a grain of salt, and the wrap?? More like 3 pieces of lettuce, a chicken nugget and a tortilla… I understand it’s fast food but get real, this is people’s hard earned money and time wasted.
Gess H — Google review
Everything we go to this location there is ALWAYS something wrong. We ask for no onions or pickles & it gets both. We sometimes are missing items & sometimes there is extra. Bottom line is they just don't have their act together & it is a waste of time, money & gas to go. Never again.
