I had high hopes for the cheese burek, but unfortunately, it didn’t quite meet my expectations. On the other hand, the Bosnian Manti was a delightful surprise and truly enjoyable. I appreciated the reasonable prices and the quick service, though it would have been nice to experience a bit more warmth from the staff. Overall, it was a mixed experience.

Absolutely the best Burek I've had in Sarajevo, we came three days in a row for dinner to this place, and again when I returned to Sarajevo. The food is amazing, with vegetarian and meat options for customers. The seating is indoor and outdoor. It's the same shop next door, so you can also go to the toilet inside the other shop. Friendly staff, too.

Good burek. The meat one has too much fat and ligament. The spinach butek was better. Good staff.

The burek here was delicious, crispy, warm and full of flavor. Overall, it was a solid experience at the evening in Baščaršija. However, we were told by the waiter that the cheese burek was finished, only to see it served to nearby tables shortly after. A bit disappointing. Clearer communication about wait times would’ve made a difference. But still, worth visiting.

The restaurant takes place in a very busy street, which makes it also special because you can feel the city's soul. We tried 3 kind of burek, all of them were really good. It's worth to try!

The food is quite tasty, I got it for breakfast and it was enough to get energy for a big time. The thing is that if you go as a tourist the people working there are just running they dont explain you anything from the menu and its in bosnian language, there are few options but still. You can only pay with cash.

The Burek and other Pitas are not really pita‘s.🫓❌As a bosnian i can tell you, you will pay a lot for something that is not really good. It tastes 20% how a pita really tastes… It is really an industrial🏭 pita nothing more… The joghurt on the pita was thrown on it and lot like it must be done: elapsed on it. Location i cool. Servicestaff is very busy…

I had the brunch Sarajevo, which included eggs (your choice on preparation), Bosnian smoked meat, chicken, cheese, cold cuts, fresh tomatoes, adjvar, and sour cream. Everything was delicious and Dino was a great server. I enjoyed the view outside but the decor inside is super cute. Big plus - you can pay by card. The music is really good as well and everything very well priced

Great breakfast spot in the old town of Sarajevo!! Staff were super friendly and the food came out very quickly. I ordered the Eggs Royale with fresh orange juice. My wife ordered the Bosnian Breakfast with an iced coffee. Both of our orders were delicious. The view of the hills when sitting outside is amazing and the atmosphere in the Baščaršija, makes the experience all the more better. The inside of the shop is also nice - giving Mr Doodle vibes. Would definitely recommend and come back here again.

I got the Egg benedict and Café Caramelinho. The food is absolutely amazing, Egg and beef is perfect, Bread is soft. Coffee was great. Person that served us was kind. Definitely recommend coming here. 10/10.

Had a great breakfast at this place. The Eggs Benedict were perfectly cooked and tasty. They also offer coffee with vegan milk, which is a rare find in the Balkans. The view from the outdoor tables is beautiful and creates a very pleasant atmosphere.

Tasted like free hostel breakfast. Honestly, I have no idea how this place has good reviews, it is literally the worst meal I have tasted in months. I ordered a caramel iced coffee which was genuinely just caramel sauce and milk, I couldn’t taste any sort of coffee flavour. Had to order an extra espresso shot on top of an already expensive (8KM) “coffee”. We ordered the Bosnian brunch which came with rubbery/overcooked eggs, dry stale bread and pretty terrible sausages. The Kajmak (cheese) was fine but the Ajvar was gone off and tasted really funky and made me feel a bit sick. Not great for a meal costing 12KM. The smoked meats and cheese were fine but tasted cheap and bad quality. Service was fine, not great or very friendly, but the waiter asked me for a tip when I was paying which left more of a bad taste (if that’s even possible) in my mouth. 0/10 do not go here, it’s a massive tourist trap, overpriced, poor quality, and the interior is honestly super tacky 😛 can’t believe I wasted money and stomach space on this food when there’s so much delicious amazing friendly Bosnian restaurants/breakfast places around

I was recommended coming here from Instagram and had looked forward to the esthetics and the food. The place is lovely. The food was good and so was the coffee and juice. The staff that work here are another story in itself. They come off as bored, entitled, rude and slow, they also seem more interested in engaging conversation with each other than helping the consumer. They also seem to be badmouthing the customers in Bosnian when they think they aren't looking or leaving. We had to ask twice for both the coffee we wanted, extra utensils and for an extra glass of water with our coffee (we only got one) the waiter we got was apparently too lazy get us another and commented "oh only one is needed I see" (that is a very unusual way to get your coffee here and for the price you are paying for a singular espresso you would think a glass of tap water was asking for too much). When he returned the provocative behavior continued and he felt the need to repeat again "and another pair of utensils, right?" After I had asked for this twice already; both when he got to our table and when I went inside after 15 minutes of waiting. I felt this commentary could have been spared. Unfortunately due to this staff we will not be returning, their behavior ruined our impression of Brunch SA. I therefore can not recommend this place to anyone. Save your money and go somewhere else where they won't ruin your experience and take your money doing so.

Visiting Sarajevo and found this wonderful cafe as we were walking around. Very family friendly and cosy. The customer service was outstanding. We had the Italian coffee (so good), gelato ice cream which was lovely. The salad was lovely and buffalo cheese fresh. We also had the pistachio tart which was perfect. Just the right amount of sweetness and bursting with flavour. Hope to revisit before we get back.

great place to snack something, have a drink, take a break... very clean... they have lots of chocolate specialty items in the menu. the service is great. But i was a little disappointed with the peperino as it turned out coffee with pepper (as described in the menu) is quite literally espresso and a black pepper shake :) I was expecting some spicy blend instead.

This small place is a hidden gem, it's in a tiny alley and you won't see it unless you're looking for it. And yes, once you get there it won't look very characteristic with its modern furniture, but don't let that fool you: the place delivers! The food is amazing and everything is so tasty (probably the best felafel I ever had in my life) with so many choices and the staff is so nice and friendly. There are many vegan options and many more vegetarian ones, so definitely recommended if you're living a plant based life. You can pay by card, which is not common in BH and that's also a plus. Last but not least, the prices are very cheap. Definitely a place to visit.

Falafel Restoran in Sarajevo is a delicious spot that feels more like enjoying a homemade meal than eating out. The falafel and other dishes taste fresh, comforting, and full of flavor. Their juices, especially the lemonade, are refreshing and perfectly balanced. The service is warm and welcoming, and the owners are incredibly friendly, making you feel right at home. A must-visit for anyone craving authentic middle eastern food, wholesome food in a cozy setting.

Cool little place. Good family run falafel joint with lovely smiling staff. Food was good, falafel was crispy on the outside and soft inside… Lemonade was very bitter….. I is what it says on the tin. Fresh lemon, no sugar just in a glass and a straw… loved it It’s cheap,,,,, 3 of us had a light meal for under 40BAM

The reviews are not lying, truly amazing falafel! Perfectly crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside. We had the falafel menu for 2 and added the eggplant salad. Weren't able to finish it all, but it was so good! Even though it's located in the old center, the alley is very cozy.

Friendly and prompt service, crispy and tasty falafels, and the smoothest hummus. What else can one expect from a falafel place, especially one that is so humbly named? Prices are reasonable and the taste is well worth a detour, though you will not have to do any detouring because this spot is also very centrally located. Much recommended!

Cute little hidden restaurant with very tasty authentic food! Everything is freshly made. Only vegetarian and vegan options which is great!! :-) Had the ‘Classic Falafel Meal’ and it really was the best falafel I ever had -sooo good! Staff is friendly. Good value for money. Card payment possible.

Really tasty Bosnian coffee, friendly people and a cool rustic interior. Beautiful little terrace situated on the hill for ideal people watching and enjoying the street vibe, but i preferred to chill inside and enjoy the company of this sleeping kitten. Sort of makes for a makeshift cat cafe vibe. After coffee i tried one of their house specialties, the rose sherbet and it was very tasty! Great spot that’s open late and in the heart of everything on this side of town.

A very nicely decorated café. The tables are old sewing machine tables. It's still located in the old town, giving it a completely different feeling. Since it's a bit higher up, you can enjoy the view and the street atmosphere. The Bosnian coffee was delicious, and the rose sherbet was very pleasant. The staff were very nice and friendly. The evening feels even different.

I drank Bosnian coffee in 3 places, this was the most suitable for my taste. The cafe is so softy drink. I definitely recommend it. The staff is so friendly.

Such a cute coffee shop on a beautiful street. Authentic Bosnian coffee and such sweet staff. Great place to relax away from the business of the old town. But close enough to still people watch and slow down :) Amerlena was so kind to us.

We had dinner here during our second night in Sarajevo and had a great time. Very nice vibe and atmosphere. Food tasted great, we had Kadun Butici and pizza. Friendly staff. Reasonable price.

As I was travelling solo, it was hard to find a table just for myself in Bascarsija to relax a bit on a very hot day. I was so pleased to find this place. I was a bit skeptical in the beginning as the reviews were not great, however I was very tired and hungry, and I loved the atmosphere in the outdoor so I decided to try. And I am so glad I did. The food was great, I took ćevapčići, a fresh homemade lemonade and bosnian yogurt. The staff were very polite and welcoming. The food was served within 15 minutes. The price was very reasonable, only 25BAM. I would definitely go back next time I am in Sarajevo.

The food was very tasty and the waitress Fatima was very nice, she helped us decide was to get and everything she was the best !

Everything was fine at the beginning, we sat down at a table and ordered our drinks. We told the server that we needed 5 more min to look at the menu and then he could come and ask us what we’d like to eat. The problem here is that he didn’t come back for 40 minutes. We then called the server and ordered our food, but then he said it would need another 40 min to an hour until we’d get our food. The serves weren’t being friendly at all. Honestly I cannot recommend this place.

The food is actually very good, the problem is the service which very often is rude or incompetent. Specifically the waitress with long dark hair that managed to be extremely rude and unprofessional with everyone in the restaurant while we were sitting the for 30 min. Atmosphere feels worn down and not very cozy anymore. It needs some good renovation and workforce restructure.

The staff is attentive and knowledgeable, eager to share the stories behind each dish. Whether you’re a fan of Bosnian cuisine, or other classics, or just curious about unique culinary fusions, Druga Kuća is definitely worth a visit.

I've had lunch here a few times, and the main issue is the lack of consistency. Ordering the same dish on different days doesn't guarantee you'll get the same ingredients or preparation, the food varies quite a bit each time.

All I can say is if you are in Sarajevo and bored of local food this is a place to be at!! Grat food, (prices are a bit expensive) great service. Worth a checking out. Place is clean and nice. We will be back!

I opted for the tagliatelle with salmon during my visit. The dish had its highs and lows—the tagliatelle was flavorsome and satisfying. Unfortunately, the salmon was a bit of a disappointment, seemingly frozen and lacking in taste. However, the staff was incredibly pleasant and attentive, which enhanced the overall experience. The restaurant's atmosphere, especially the terrace, added to the pleasant dining ambiance. A mixed experience with moments of delight and room for improvement.

I had lunch today and made the mistake not to review the bill. The waiter charged 24 km of food we did not order. The food was fine. Nothing extraordinary. I will not return.

Tito themed coffee bar, next to military themed playground. A comfy and spacious relaxing place in the shadow, where you can easily and safely leave kids to play while enjoying coffee or drinks of your choice. Serves also as a little Tito museum, check out their memorabilia and exhibitions on the walls. For urban explorers and yugo nostalgia seekers! Photo spot also!

Just behind the National History Museum. Very fast and kind service. I got americano which was good and served with water. Decorated with many staff about Tito. Large indoor and outdoor seating area.

As much of a museum as a cafe. We popped in for a drink after arriving at the nearby station. Great beer and good, friendly service. Definitely worth making a trip out to visit for a drink and to check out the memorabilia.

For nostalgic of old yugoslavia and tito. Its a normal bar for the offer but the location and the interior are the main reason to visit it (also because is far from the main attractions). Probably its much more enjoyable on summer thanks to the great dehor. Payament with card accepted. Also smoke allowed inside.

On our final day in Sarajevo, we came to try Mrvica for breakfast. I ordered my go to - eggs royale and my wife an omelette. The eggs royale came on a croissant from their bakery, instead of the usual muffin or bread. It was very nice. I liked how the tea came with shots of concentrated lemon and orange juice. Mrvica have a large bakery with lots of great options, in terms of breads, cakes and other desserts. Staff members were very friendly and provided great service. Highly recommend!!

Such a nice bakery. Loved loved the Sebastian cheesecake along with the pista sauce, it was too extra delicious. Couldn’t get the hands off. Cafe affogato was so nice too. Overall a nice vibe and good setting

A lovely café with a great atmosphere. We enjoyed the omelette, which was nice, and there’s a fantastic selection of cakes. Unfortunately, some breakfast items like sunny-side-up eggs weren’t available, so the kids couldn’t have a simple option. The tuna sandwich was over-toasted and difficult to eat. Service was quite slow, likely due to how busy it was, but overall still a pleasant experience.

We had a wonderful time here. The atmosphere was pleasant and inviting, the food was good, and the service was really nice. They have a charming backyard too. We sincerely hope to return again.

A large, beautiful cafe. They have a very wide selection of dishes, desserts, and drinks. The cafe is spacious and has plenty of seating, including a small covered patio. The desserts were delicious. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

One of the best spots in Sarajevo, night or day. You get, in my opinion, the best views over the city, but it is just far away enough to feel a sense of seclusion. Liked the vibe and the cakes were excellent. This is a definite if you are in Sarajevo. 6 stars.

Could be good place in a vary good spot BUT they brought me a wrong cake and it was not crispy as described, music was VERY loud, no light because of "ambient" vibe, waiter refused to turn down music from speakers a little and to turn on more light. Chocolate Mahsuzija was good. People smoke on the terrace filling everything with this disgusting smell inside and outside

Every time I visit Sarajevo, I come to this charming caffe. The view is lovely, but I come for a traditional dessert ŽITO SA ŠLAGOM. It is very rare and soooo delicious. The staff are amazing, the outside terrace offers a breathtaking view of Sarajevo.

Absolutely wonderful little café with a wonderful view of Sarajevo, a little hard to find on google maps when following but once you do you will not regret it the iced coffees are amazing and so are the hot drinks thr food options are wonderful too and the atmosphere is really cozy and neighbourly, and to add on the toilets are amazing and amazingly well kept for the male one I can say the free perfume and deodorant they offer is great and the staff is more than friendly all in all its an absolutely wonderful experience at the expense of climbing up to it but once you do it is trully worth it!

The waitress literally laughed at us for ordering pancakes with fruit, saying the season was bad (I don’t think they use fresh fruit at any time of the year). When I asked for waffles with pistachio, she dismissed it, claiming the cream didn’t go well with waffles. What we got in the end were so-called “pistachio” pancakes with cream that tasted expired. There was nothing pistachio about them (can’t count the expired cream) it was just cheap fluorescent red and green syrups on top of stale dough. To make it worse, the waitress was talking on the phone while serving us. The food was awful, the service was rude and unprofessional. Absolutely do not recommend.

While waiting for an apartment owner my friends and I had the fortune of discovering this wonderful place and its friendly baristas. The view on the river is very nice and the staff is welcoming and knows how to speak English very well.

My husband and I came here for breakfast, the pancakes were fresh, soft and delicious 😊 The view of the river is also calming. I would definitely recommend 🫶🏻

Let me start off by saying this place has potential. Food was ok, my younger children enjoyed their pancakes (3 stars for that and because my little one asked for spaghetti pancakes with fruits and chocolate dressing but got Oreo ones, it’s fine since he likes Oreos) my daughter and I wanted to order an omelet and it was “unavailable”. How is an omelet unavailable? Is it because they didn’t stock up on eggs , or because the employee didnt feel like making it. Guess I’ll never find out Well, we ended up ordering a toast per servers recommendation since we both wanted something savory for breakfast. It was a joke for how much it costs. It was something my 5 year old could put together for an after school snack. It was literally a couple of plain, dry pieces of thin white bread with a slice of cheese and couple of pieces of meat. It’s very “meh” and we both left unsatisfied. Pistachio latte was tasty but very sweet. Place is small and cute, but it was messy. It seemed like there was a party as there were old deflated balloons left hanging on the walls and on the floor around our table. It was hot inside, doesn’t seem like there’s A/C and not enough ventilation to move the air through the establishment. There were flies and mosquitoes everywhere! None of us could enjoy our time here as we were too busy swatting the insects. Also there were so many of them that we couldn’t keep them off our food. Our server was sweet. She was the only person there so it took a bit longer to get food out. And we were the only people in the restaurant. For the cost of the items on the menu, service and food could definitely use some improvements. Not sure I would return here any time soon as there are far more eating establishments that offer better overall experience.

We came here for breakfast, but we're told the only things out of the whole menu available was banana or pistachio pancakes. Bit of a shame really but oh well. Maybe it's just because it's Monday morning.

Great vibe-y spot, friendly dude inside and real deal coffee options, like single origin v60s. Cool little outdoor deck on their set back patio to chill and enjoy the day. A great spot for speciality coffee and fruit smoothies.

Possibly the best espresso coffee in the city. If you want Bosnian/Turkish style coffee there are many novelty coffee shops in the old city. If you want coffee with distinct flavours and beans to choose from, then come here. The price is incredibly low for the quality. I paid 3BAM for an espresso. Well worth the little walk up the steps from the church or a few down from the Olympic museum, worth a visit if you are a tourist.

Away from the hustle of the old town and city center, this spot offers a perfectly prepared cappuccino and a variety of other excellent hot coffee drinks.

One of our fav places we visit every time we are in Sarajevo. They have a great coffee. Stuff to improve: bigger variaty of food/cakes (they have barely any), barista could wash hands after cigarette break, less ads for Icos, Aperol and whatever is in the drinks cooler - would help the atmosphere.

Wow - such a great coffee shop with above and beyond service. Coffee was absolutely phenomenal and service was above and beyond too. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a high quality cup of coffee. Do be warned, it is a bit more expensive (5 KM for a cappuccino - but well worth it). They take contactless, card, and cash.

As a tourist passing through Sarajevo, I decided to try Mrvica for breakfast, but unfortunately it didn’t live up to expectations. The food felt lackluster and not particularly fresh—almost as if the kitchen just threw a few random items together on the plate. The coffee was equally underwhelming, nothing memorable or worth coming back for. To be fair, locals may see this place differently, and I respect that. But for me, breakfast at home would have been leaps and bounds better than what I had here. Overall, I walked away disappointed and wouldn’t recommend it unless you’re just looking for a very basic bite to start the day.

Best cafe in Sarajevo and great location on the way to the airport. We had breakfast there right before our flight and it was great as usual. Would recommend the eggs with salmon if you like smoked salmon, otherwise the Eggs Benedict is amazing. Of course we couldn’t leave before having coffee with their amazing San Sabastian cake.

Amazing desserts that you can never find anywhere else in Sarajevo and Ilidza. The ingredients are top quality and the sugar balance is great. The waiters are professional and friendly. Atmosphere is also very comfortable.

This is a nice place to have a meal or snack in this part of town. The place was very busy at lunchtime, therefore not very easy to find place. The food is creative and their cheese cake was really 👌 nice. Service was prompt, although one could notice that the place is understaffed. Overall, it was a good experience.

Coffee Station Café and Restaurant is a lovely and cozy spot, perfect for relaxing with a good cup of coffee or enjoying a tasty meal. The place is always clean and well-organized, with a comfortable atmosphere that makes you feel at ease the moment you walk in. The menu offers a nice selection of food and drinks, all freshly prepared and delicious. On top of that, the service is consistently friendly, professional, and attentive. It is a great place to stop by whether you're grabbing a quick drink or staying for a full meal. There are some public parking spots in front of the café and around the buildings in the area.

a cozy atmosphere, very good sandwiches and the hot chocolate is to die for. Being Dutch it was very strange for us to see people openly smoking a cigarette in the shop. That has been.prohibited for a long time in the Netherlands.

The most mid food you can find in Sarajevo. Overpriced and overadvertised. They advertise food as Aromatic veal, turns out it has 0 spices in it. Veal is overcooked and so chewy. Spinach chicken tastes like its the first mean of a learning chef. If i wanted to eat low grade food I would 've gone to a supermarked deli aisle.

It is a decent eatery with good food at reasonable prices but there are two issues with it. First of all, it is cash only. We had to give most of our remaining cash which was not ideal, for such a big restaurant one expects to see credit card option. I do not remember seeing a cash only note in the menu as well but maybe I skipped it. Secondly, while the atmosphere is cool, it is also noisy and smoky. Nothing the restaurant can do much to fix this but just because it cannot be fixed easily does not mean that one may not note it.

Spoiler alert: my review might seem a little harsh because I did not spend too much time in here. While the modern structure is quite recent, this space was one of the principal areas in the city for traders to come and sell their produce. What I enjoyed the most was the introduction to the various different Bosnian staples and it gave me some ideas of what to try during the rest of the time I spent in the country.

There are lots of shops selling dried meat, we preferred Begovic, the guy who talked with us (Jakup) was so kind, we tasted all meats and two days later before our leaving flight departure we bought some dried meat from Jakup's sweetheart mom, they are so kind, I strongly recommend you Begovic.

The flat white was good, better than their cappuccino. I got the Manhattan with scallion cream cheese on an everything bagel. I really liked this but the bagel was slightly too chewy. The plain bagel was a lot more softer but I did find the egg on the saltier side. The servers were lovely and store looked nice and clean.

If you have never had a New York bagel before and wanna try come visit NYC Bagel when in Sarajevo. The fillings are plenty, the bagel soft and the coffee is fresh. Perfect ice coffee for the warm summer month. You can also choose between different bagels and fillings. The atmosphere is lovely and so is the owner who's workers are a nice blend of local Bosnians and Americans. They all speak perfect English alongside Bosnian. A 10/10 experience. We will definitely be back for another bagel fix. ❤️🥯

I’ve been to NYC countless times and this is a very very good authentic bagel. The bagel itself is one of the better ones I’ve had outside of NY but the smoked salmon cream cheese is probably better than any I’ve even had in NY so much flavor and the perfect texture/amount. Also one of the best iced lattes I’ve had in Europe. Great ambience inside and facing a green space. Really friendly employees. Highly recommend.

The first time I’ve ever tried bagels was with them. It has definitely not been my last time! I like the Queens and Manhattan but my favorite is the Smoked Salmon CC with an everything bagel 👌🏻 their coffee is amazing! So good that I would pass by and drink it multiple times a day if their closing hours were slightly later.

We booked this hotel because it’s halal-friendly and has a swimming pool, but it didn’t meet our expectations. The location is nice and surrounded by trees, but the nearest café or market is a 20-minute drive, so you really need a car. Food and drinks are also quite expensive. The pool was only open for 2 days during our week-long stay. Rooms were not very clean, with old dusty furniture, lots of flies in the bathroom, and no windows that could be opened, making it feel stuffy. Privacy is also an issue since rooms can be seen from outside unless curtains are kept closed. Breakfast was decent, and the staff were generally friendly, but TVs only have local channels and are not smart. Overall, it’s fine for a short stay if you’re mainly here for hiking, but I wouldn’t recommend it for a longer holiday.

Reading the previous reviews I had nice expectations about this hotel. But unfortunately I got disappointed. The first day we arrived it seemed incredible. Beautiful architecture, nice clean and spacious room, kind welcoming from the reception staff. However, the main reason we booked this hotel was to have a RELAXING holiday, and that is basically impossible here. There is loud music everywhere 24/7 - even in the wellness area with a sign “silent please”, there is still loud pop / folkolirstic music in the background. I didn’t manage to find a quiet spot where to enjoy reading my book for 30 min. Furthermore, the wellness area was practically inaccessible for us. The first two days we were there it was reserved for “woman only” because of halal reasons, the third day we already booked a tour out of the city, the 4th and last day finally we wanted to use it but there were workers cleaning and adjusting something during the morning. Then in the afternoon we tried again but there was a problem with one of the machines which was making a big noise - not ideal to relax. On the good side, the location is great for quiet walks in the forests. Also going down to the city is quite easy via the cable car / taxi. With the insight, I would have much more booked an hotel in the city centre, use the public hammam for one day of wellness and came up here for hiking on another day.

Over the last 9 months, I’ve waited more than 30 minutes on three different occasions without being served, so we ended up leaving each time. The food is good and the location is great, but the service has been consistently poor due to understaffing. I hope management can improve this soon. Wish you all the best.

Stayed here for a few days before staying in the city. Beautiful spot on the mountain. If you love nature and hikes this spot is great. The rooms are nice and bright with their funky design. Food is good with lots of options for breakfast. They need to have more plant based options on their dinner menu.

Service: Generally decent, receptionist is nice, pool lady is nice with the kids and requests. But a waiter named Zakir/Zakaria/Zakar/Zaki (he gave us a lot of names. white Bosnian male with little facial hair) at the bar/restaurant that gave us ice cream, stood for over 10 minutes telling us how Bosnian Muslims are superior to Arab Muslims because of an agenda he heard online, telling us how he thinks Arabs are inhumane and don’t do good for Muslims around the world but Bosnians do (while UAE and other middle eastern countries are literally top donators to Gaza and other global incidents). Please keep in mind I was with my family including my mother and younger siblings whom all heard the conversation while trying to enjoy their ice cream, which was in the main lobby in front of the reception while the receptionist is present. That ruined my mother’s night, as we came down from our room to enjoy the cold weather at night and the post-rain weather. He was also complaining about his Asian coworker (brown skin, Sri Lankan as per the waiter) saying that they are not good workers and that Bosnians are better. Making fun of Arab parents and Arab kids saying that Arabs can’t control their children. Additionally he was showing us his charity contributions to one of the African nations but saying he doesn’t trust if he will get rewarded or something I don’t even know. His arguments and way speaking was all over the place but focused to convince us that Bosnian Muslims are different than Arabs. Rooms: Rooms are decent and livable. However in each room, near the window there are dead insects under the grey large pillows and beside it. Pool: I would recommend to install heaters for the water, however we had a nice swim. Overall: Decent but we wish we never met or engaged the waiter in that ignorant argument. Dont talk to him or try to convince him because once he sees that you are not being convinced by his arguments he will tell you “I am busy I have to work” when he literally is the one that starts the conversation with you about his discriminatory topic. Please note that the overall experience in Bosnia was great and that we are amazed by some Bosnian treatment of how respectful they were to us. However this was one of the instances that we met disrespectful staff who didn’t like Arabs. Pino hotel we expect better from your services, Thank you.

Went for food with a group of people. For some reason we had to pay in front. The pizzas took really long and weren't that special. The pasta was cold. No checking whether it's alright or for drinks. Nice scenery, but that's all. Not a great experience.

I came there to eat with my kid and I was first attended for a kind guy outside where I ordered 2 juices but I needed to change tables because I wanted to charge my phone (of course I asked before changing to inside), another worker came to attend me and I specifically said that I order from the other guy 2 juices and that I want a pizza, he said ok and left, some time later I got my juices and he started to shout in his language why I got juices that he ordered juices again and that i need to pay twice, I said that I told him about the order with the other guy and they said ok you don’t need to pay. The ugliest part was when I needed to pay and the guy started demanding and shouting to me that I need to pay the juices twice, he threw the bill of the other guy away and kept shouting because i refused, in the end I paid only the pizza with him but he threw the bill to me aggressively. What was a nice hike ended up being an ugly moment. I do not think that a hotel like this should have this kind of people working for them. For me this is a reason to fire him. View and food was good.

I ordered the mushroom pizza and was happily surprised at how good it was. Thin crust with just the right amount of bite, fresh mushrooms, rich tomato sauce. I could have eaten the entire pie, but I forced myself to take a few slices home. The waiter couldn't have been nicer. His English was great and he was helpful and courteous. The view of course, is excellent. I sat outside since the indoor smoking is uncomfortable. Definitely grab a meal here if you get the chance.

The food was great, and the views of the city and mountains were stunning. However, the experience was completely ruined by a few critical issues. Firstly, guests smoking indoors instead of outside is unacceptable and unpleasant. Secondly, the fact that they don’t accept card payments is highly inconvenient. If you don’t have cash, you’re forced to drive all the way down to the city, as there are no ATMs nearby. On top of that, the staff was extremely rude and unhelpful when I didn’t have cash. They should inform customers about the no-card policy when taking orders, not after the fact. What could have been a wonderful evening turned into a frustrating one. Because of this, I will not return.

Absolutely Horrible Experience – Avoid at All Costs! If I could give this place zero stars, I would. We came here for what we hoped would be a nice dinner, but instead it turned into a complete nightmare. Within hours of eating, everyone in our group got food poisoning. To make matters worse, the staff was shockingly rude. When we politely mentioned that something tasted off, we were met with eye-rolls and passive-aggressive comments. No apology, no concern, just pure indifference. I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone. Save your money, your health, and your dignity — go literally anywhere else.

I’ve always enjoyed this place — the view is stunning, and past visits were lovely. Unfortunately, this time was different. When it started raining, we tried to stay seated and added protection to the damp chairs ourselves. Instead of any understanding or courtesy, the waiter approached us loudly and rudely, as if we were an inconvenience. I told him he could’ve said it in a more respectful way, but the damage was done — we left. It’s a shame when a beautiful view is overshadowed by poor service and lack of basic hospitality.

Wonderful cafe/restaurant with a large menu and drink selection. Very spacious, indoor and outdoor seating. Relaxed casual atmosphere. We visited several times on our trip and had lunch/coffee. Prices are very reasonable and portion sizes are generous.

The food was good, the mocktail wasn't sweet, the waiter was rude when we asked him a simple question, very unfriendly. on Google they've posted their times and as today is Saturday, it said that they close at 11:30PM on Saturdays but when we got there they said they close at 9pm.

Took a little too long for the server to take our orders as there were very few customers but other than that - a great place for breakfast and bosanska kafa. They also play good tunes.

Really love this place, I walk past this establishment almost daily and today was the first time I decided to check them out. The atmosphere is nice and open because of the glass walls. It's located in the corner of ARIA, the big shopping center in that part of town. Seating is mostly for groups of four. Pricing is on the more expensive side but still reasonable. I got the Rice Curry which was pretty good if I may say so myself. The waiter that was assigned to my table was pretty nice and welcoming. Overall I've had a great experience but sadly it was a bit ruined because of a bunch of kids that were running around making a buunch of noise. So not really a place where you can get some peace and quiet since it's so available and in the center of happenings. Nevertheless I still believe you should go check them out, maybe your experience is a bit better than mine.

Waiter was really kind and polite. They have separate place for smoking and non smoking. Food was ok, rice was dry. All in all a nice place at the shopping mall to have a drink or something to eat.

Coffee is very good but the tiramisu has nothing in common with the real tiramisu desert. No cocoa or chocolate powder on top, the cream is for sure not made from egg yolks with mascarpone and sugar - the taste was artificial, and the cookies were more biscuits instead of savoiardis with only a touch of coffee, not a deep dive in. What a pity!

I ordered beef steak,realy i like it,it's delicious,i asked the waiter to recommend the best and he did. The price is little high I think i will come again to try other orders. The menu has a nice variety of food. The staff made recommendations that were helpful, especially because I am an English speaker and do not read the local language. The food was very tasty and prepared in a healthy manner. The restaurant itself is bright, pleasingly decorated, and spacious. Although its location is away from the city center, it is worth your time to seek out this place.

My favorite place to go in this neighborhood coffee is great theres a zone for smokers and the food is delicious and fairy priced.

This is the fifth or sixth chance that I’ve given them to improve, but I will definitely not be eating again after today. Four of us ordered food, we ordered quite a lot, the restaurant is five minutes away from our location and still the food was totally cold, tasted weird and the portions were tiny (picture of the grilled vegetable portion size attached). Their food is not cheap and the value for money just isn’t worth it

Honestly, if I could give zero stars, I would. I'm not sure under what circumstances this place is still operational, but their food is completely inedible. The chicken salad is disgusting. It looks like it was chewed up and spat out. I'd rather eat my cat’s canned chicken food than this. AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!!

But I gave it 5 stars only cause they added all cartoon boxes in delivery, and there was not a single thing plastic except forks. Worth 5 stars in my opinion, as it leads to bettering of this world.

Amazing experience! We arrived around 4:15pm and 20mints after we already started with eating, superfast! Dishes were tasty, got my stomach full lol. Meals and drinks for us costed around 16€, and prices definetily match the quality. Can't wait to come back! :)

The food choice was good, always tasty and fresh. I visited three times and had twice the breakfast eith steak. It was very good and intresting experience and to me it was tasty. Staff understands english and is very friendly. Only thing I dont enjoy so much is indoors smoking but its the case in this country so I cant be mad about it.

Visited Palma several times during my stay in Sarajevo. This dessert parlor offers a more local, off-the-beaten-path experience cause it's far from Baščaršija and rather serves as a neighborhood spot. Wonderful service and friendly attentive staff. Their desserts are exceptional! There are some classics across the former Yugoslavia that you won't find anywhere else (e.g., Reforma or Bajadera cakes). You can basically order anything on the menu because it will always be the right choice.

Among the luxurious cafes in Sarajevo, the atmosphere is beautiful, especially in the evening, sitting to the tunes of the piano and playing. We thank our host for inviting us to eat cake and drink coffee in this cafe.

One of my favorite place in Sarajevo. Food is delicious and so tasty. There is playground for children, and it's next to Vilson's promenade. Staff are so polite and professional, they will always meet you with smile. Waiter Tony is one of the best , well done . Prices are fair enough. Can't wait to come and chill again here.

Yesterday, I visited a restaurant because I was craving a chicken burger. I ordered it for takeaway, so I couldn't enjoy the full dining experience. The Garlic Chicken Burger was delicious and quite large, making it very filling! If you're travelling from the UK, you'll notice that prices here are less than half of what you would pay back home.

Hear out, hear out! If you are visiting Sarajevo you have to come to Ilidža, part of the town that offer so much. Inbetween egzotic Middle-East to modern shops, restaurants and gyms. One of these places is iChicken. Small, warm, friendly and with polite waiters this restaurant is serving variously prepared chicken and beef dishes for really affordable prices. Someone would ask what is extraordinary, it is chicken, probably the oldest friend of the kitchen, but it is special. Prepared in many ways, even with the fingertip of the Chinese wok, it is apsolute must to eat and try while you are here. Place doesn't serve alcoholic beverages so it is really friendly to couples and families or friends. Well, what after? you may ask yourself? Go for a walk. Under the tree nests to the bridges only to watch calm ducks swimming, or maybe to the nearby gym to work on your body and mind or just for a coffee, tea or a drink in many of the small pubs with terraces in the line. And go shopping too, because here prices beats your home shops by at least three or four times for the same brend of clothes, shoes or parfumes. Open your eyes. And research.

Worst food we've ever tasted❗️ My husband and I ordered one "chicken wings", one "bread chicken with a sauce of mushrooms" and one "bey's soup". The soup was cold. The wings were extremely undercooked and not cleaned well from the feathers. The chicken slices in the last dish were extremely thin and the sauce was poor of mushrooms. Both the wings and chicken slices were cold and had absorbed much oil 🤢 The fries served with the wishes were cold too and didn't look fresh at all. The waiter was not that kind. We will never recommend this restaurant at all!

I have been religiously coming to iChicken for years.. I have never been disappointed no matter how many times I visited. The atmosphere, the music, the food. Everything is perfect. Service is fast and food comes in a span of 10-15 minutes, it does depend on how much customers they have at the moment but I am sure they pay attention to be quick and efficient and they definitely are. If you are on Ilidza and wondering what to eat, this is your answer! Especially if you are a fan of chicken. My personal favorite.. fried pancakes 🤩

Staff is unfriendly and seems rather annoyed - a hello or welcome there is apparently only with extra charge We went to the bar at half past nine in the evening where we were told we should go because the bar would close immediately - according to the door sign, the bar should be open until 12 o'clock. There are nicer bars with nicer staff

I had a burger and a chicken mandi, and both were absolutely delicious—perfectly cooked and full of taste. The menu has a great variety, and the quality is top-notch. However, the service was quite slow, and the wait for the food was longer than expected. If you’re in a hurry, this might not be the best spot, but if you have the patience, the food is definitely worth it. Overall, a great place to eat, just be prepared for a bit of a wait!

The location is not accurate. We had the lamb mandi and chicken mandi. Both are delicious but I Highly recommend the lamb, very tender and juicy. There is around 20 minutes waiting time for food but it’s worth the wait (fresh cooked meals). Very tasty.

The atmosphere and look was very nice. The service was ok. I ordered hot chocolate, and I got something like milk with a little chocolate, I don't know do they know how the hot chocolate should look like, I was not satisified with it. After that I ordered some chicken meal, it tasted so bad, my friend tried and confirmed that something is bad. When we asked them did they use some spice, they said it was regulary made without spices. It was so bad, I could barely eat it a little. They said they are going to improve. But honestly I don't think I will go there again.

We came to try the mandi, but they were out of it, so we ordered the lentil soup, havavshi sandwich and the chicken biryani. Food was surprisingly great, since it is hard to find delicious Arabic dishes in Sarajevo. The portions are big and the biryani is enough for two. Service could be a bit faster, since we stood up to order food ourselves, however the food service was fast, we got the food 5-7 min after the order. Another suggestion is the music, you can’t really play Saša Matic and Aca Lukas at 17:00 in a restaurant full of international crowd.

Good atmosphere and nice, but service is bad and took a long time for preparing dishes, we wait for one hour and half. About price it's expensive compared with anyone else I hope to increase the amount of food.

I would leave a 0 star if I could. Place is an absolute scam we asked for a beer that was 5 bam each and they instead charged us for one that was double the price and never told us. Waiters were rude and really slow you should avoid this place at all costs complete kip. On top of that pints tasted terrible so nothing good to say about the place as it was also filthy.

Never felt treated so badly, I’ve been traveling for 15 days and this is by far the worst place I’ve visited in the Balkans. Absolutely avoid!
