Really tasty Bosnian coffee, friendly people and a cool rustic interior. Beautiful little terrace situated on the hill for ideal people watching and enjoying the street vibe, but i preferred to chill inside and enjoy the company of this sleeping kitten. Sort of makes for a makeshift cat cafe vibe. After coffee i tried one of their house specialties, the rose sherbet and it was very tasty! Great spot that’s open late and in the heart of everything on this side of town.

A very nicely decorated café. The tables are old sewing machine tables. It's still located in the old town, giving it a completely different feeling. Since it's a bit higher up, you can enjoy the view and the street atmosphere. The Bosnian coffee was delicious, and the rose sherbet was very pleasant. The staff were very nice and friendly. The evening feels even different.

I drank Bosnian coffee in 3 places, this was the most suitable for my taste. The cafe is so softy drink. I definitely recommend it. The staff is so friendly.

Such a cute coffee shop on a beautiful street. Authentic Bosnian coffee and such sweet staff. Great place to relax away from the business of the old town. But close enough to still people watch and slow down :) Amerlena was so kind to us.

I drank the best Salep in Sarajevo here. Highly recommended, especially at sunset. A great place to enjoy a good Salep.

Tito themed coffee bar, next to military themed playground. A comfy and spacious relaxing place in the shadow, where you can easily and safely leave kids to play while enjoying coffee or drinks of your choice. Serves also as a little Tito museum, check out their memorabilia and exhibitions on the walls. For urban explorers and yugo nostalgia seekers! Photo spot also!

Just behind the National History Museum. Very fast and kind service. I got americano which was good and served with water. Decorated with many staff about Tito. Large indoor and outdoor seating area.

As much of a museum as a cafe. We popped in for a drink after arriving at the nearby station. Great beer and good, friendly service. Definitely worth making a trip out to visit for a drink and to check out the memorabilia.

For nostalgic of old yugoslavia and tito. Its a normal bar for the offer but the location and the interior are the main reason to visit it (also because is far from the main attractions). Probably its much more enjoyable on summer thanks to the great dehor. Payament with card accepted. Also smoke allowed inside.

A café with a very elegant and pleasant atmosphere. Allowing us to bring our own food was a particularly kind and thoughtful gesture. Although the Turkish tea we ordered was brewed from loose leaf tea(Kaçak çay🙂), we really enjoyed its taste with our friends. A cozy spot for nice conversations — definitely recommended!

Wonderful authentic coffee experience Definitely recommend opting for the Bosnian coffee for a lovely authentic experience. It's served in beautiful copperware. The interior is super nice, and the little terrace is located on a not so busy little street, it felt like a hidden gem. Very clean bathroom, which tells something about their standards too. Perfect service. Payment possible by cash only, but they accept euros too. Completely recommended.

Visiting Sarajevo and found this wonderful cafe as we were walking around. Very family friendly and cosy. The customer service was outstanding. We had the Italian coffee (so good), gelato ice cream which was lovely. The salad was lovely and buffalo cheese fresh. We also had the pistachio tart which was perfect. Just the right amount of sweetness and bursting with flavour. Hope to revisit before we get back.

great place to snack something, have a drink, take a break... very clean... they have lots of chocolate specialty items in the menu. the service is great. But i was a little disappointed with the peperino as it turned out coffee with pepper (as described in the menu) is quite literally espresso and a black pepper shake :) I was expecting some spicy blend instead.

We went to Klopa almost every day during our stay in Sarajevo - after the first visit, we knew there was no better place around. The food is incredible - fresh, flavorful, and made with love. The portions are huge, and every dish feels special - we loved the veal skewers, beef sausage, and especially the Klopa mix for two. And please don't leave without trying the Klopa Cake - it's pure magic! A soft, slightly ginger sponge with fresh berries and a sweet sauce - one of the best desserts we've ever had. What makes this place truly stand out, though, is the people. Everyone is so warm and welcoming, especially Nera, who is an absolute gem - always smiling, funny, attentive, and full of great recommendations. True professional and a wonderful person. They also have an amazing attitude toward children - truly child-friendly! Our little one always got special attention and even surprise treats like fries while waiting for the food. It made us feel so cared for - like visiting good friends rather than a restaurant. We can't recommend Klopa enough - this place made our Sarajevo trip unforgettable!

We had an amazing shared veggie/meat platter recommended by the waiter with a lot of variety of veggies, potatoes, tofu and meat and the food was truly great for a fair price. The atmosphere inside and outside was also lovely. We were overall super happy with the dining experience.

A nice place for a bite in Sarajevo! We came here twice for dinner during our stay. We ordered the chicken skewers, it was fresh although the chicken could have used a bit more seasoning or being marinated for extra flavour. The wine serving was a bit on the stingy side, I’d prefer to put the price a bit higher and serve a healthy glass. Nonetheless we did enjoy it, friendly service and good atmosphere.

The food was beautiful: halal; organic; Bosnian sourced; and all completely fresh and from scratch. It tasted wonderful, came out quickly, and we were surprised how quickly we wiped the entire thing. It also wasn't too heavy and was wholesome. A perfect date night meal. Thank you Nera (Mark Ruffalo) for your brilliant service - warm, helpful, and gave an excellent recommendation. If you're going to be in Bosnia, you have to eat here. We will be back!

A large group of us had a meal here. The restaurant is usually very busy so best to book ahead. Service is great, very informative about the food offering and recommended dishes were superb. Usually a large board of various meats with roast potatoes, salad and vegetables, all presented well and with accompanying wine which was very good value. A great experience and reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

Such a really good experience here. We got recommended a good choice from the waiter, and we ended up by eating a mix of vegan/not vegan food in a very big shared meal that was absolutely delicious. Really good option for vegan people in Sarajevo.

The food was absolutely phenomenal. The steak was one of the best I've ever had out of hundreds of restaurants. Homemade bread also really excellent. The meal, food, drink and atmosphere are definitely amongst the best in Sarajevo. A reservation is definitely required, about 50 people walked in during my 2 hours in the restaurant and none were able to get a table. But it's worth it! The only downside is that cards aren't accepted.

What an amazing experience eating at Dveri. We had to wait for a table for a bit but when we sat down and eat our food we understood why the place was so popular. The dishes were so tasty and we had the best sopska salad of our entire 10 day trip. We found the curry and goulash to be very tasty and flavourful. I recommend.

Dveri was an absolute highlight of my trip to Sarajevo! I loved the meat platter, the tomato salad, the aubergine!! Who knew the humble aubergine could be elevated to taste so good? We also had the steak, their famous homemade bread, red wine and the baklava. Everything was top notch with fresh quality ingredients! Recommend making a reservation as the place is small and cozy.

This place truly lives up to the rave reviews — and then some. There’s nothing in Baščaršija quite like it. The service was warm and attentive, and the ambience struck just the right balance between relaxed and refined. The food? Easily the best we had in all of Bosnia. I went here twice with my Filipino friends - the best customer service and the food. From the homemade bread, kajmak, soup, vegetable and veal soup, polenta, goulash and chicken curry. Top top! Highly recommended.

Must visit in Sarajevo! The owner is like a wizard from a fantasy book. And the place itself feels magical with all the details. We were stuck there because of the rain and thunderstorm - 10/10 experience, so if it's going to rain go-go-go here and have a core memory for the rest of your life, talking with strangers in tiny magical teahouse.

This has been a lovely experience. I had the Bosnian coffee with sorbet. It was my first Bosnian coffe, and I truly enjoyed every sip of it. And the sorbet! That was heaven. The place itself, the drinks, all perfect. But the best part: the service: carefully explaining every step, with a smile.

Last night in Sarajevo and wanted to have my last Salep (my new obsession since being in Bosnia) and read this teahouse had the best. And boy was everyone right! It was piping hot and the portion was not stingy at all. But what made this experience all the more special was how wonderful the owner was and how mystical his shop was. Sad I found it on my last night and after my friend left to go home cause I'm convinced she would have loved it too.

This restaurant takes “traditional” to a whole new level. Inventive use of ingredients that made every dish so special. I ordered 2 starters (too hard to choose), main and dessert, and in every dish I experienced a flavour new to me. I would go again tonight, but unfortunately for me, it’s closed on Sundays. Great place for vegans!! Enjoyed an amazing selection of sides, starters and main courses from their menu that clearly labels all vegetarian and vegan dishes. Cozy, small dining room and intimate setting, i think they had two people working: the waiter/floor manager and a woman in the back cooking the food. They handled a dining room that was steadily filling up as the night went on with grace and enthusiasm. This was such a cool and unique spot and for my fiancé and i, it was an amazingly unique opportunity to enjoy the intersection of traditional Bosnian food with delicious vegan options that fit our diet. I am very grateful to have stumbled upon it.

This is a traditional Bosnian restaurant with unexpected flavors mixed into every dish. Every bite was excellent with a lovely host/cook/server. We can highly recommend the beet salad, nettle bread, minced beef pillows on cinnamon sticks, the beef stew/goulash dish, even the chocolate and nettle dessert. We highly recommend a visit.

.I had a full vegan course with uštipke (ill get the doube portion next time), sataraš and the nettle bread and a small beer. Whatever you do, you NEED to try the uštipke/ donuts. Seriously. The food was amazing and comforting, very well seasoned, and you can actually glimpse into the kitchen a bit. The atmosphere is incredible. You enter what feels like a private home, and have an opening in the ceiling up to the first floor. Flowers all around, pleasant lightning, simple and comfortable. The owner is a master of his art. During my visit he had a 10-head group and continuous inflow of gursts yet he managed everything. Yeah, on a very busy night you might wait a little bit, but he did talk to every customer to let them/me know he hasnt forgotten and it was clear as day how busy the restaurant was - deservedly so. Honeatly. Get the uštipke. You will thank me.

Everything about this restaurant is great. The food is delicious with complex and creative flavours yet based on authentic cuisine from this region. Every dish I tried was beyond delicious. The place is cozy and warm allowing you to feel as if eating at a relative’s house. The owners are very hard working and provide a great personalized service. My son loved playing with their little boy. All in all, I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting my hometown, and we will definitely come back!

This place was so cute and cozy. Server confirmed the food is halal. I preferred the alla arrabbiata to the chicken and mushroom pasta but both were good. Giving 5 stars as the service and hospitality was great. Please note that it’s worth taking cash in case there are any issues with the card terminal.

This is a small but pleasant restaurant with very unique decor to make it feel homey. My waiter was friendly and spoke good English but the person who brought my food just dumped it off on the table and did not seem pleasant. I had the pesto pasta and it was tasty but not necessarily memorable. I had no issues with paying by credit card

This restaurant is a hole in the wall restaurant very close to the Eternal Flame. It seats about 14 people only in 3 tables. The decor was quaint with one wall filled with old luggages. We ordered penne pasta with chicken and vegetables in red and cream sauce as well beef wok. The food was not very tasty. Price was reasonable and the only waiter was accommodating although he had a difficult time explaining ingredients in English. The food was served in an appealing manner and since we told the waiter that we were splitting the food, he split the food beforehand. If price is your main criterion for choosing a restaurant, then this place delivers. Quality of food can be better.

Terrific local restaurant After a long day, it was wonderful to find a delicious meal at this super cosy local restaurant. We ordered the steak with the green peppercorn sauce and the chicken with the mustard sauce. The chicken was good but the steak was amazing! The food was freshly prepared and cooked to perfection!! At first glance I didn’t know if I wanted to go here to be honest. But we got a warm welcome! The atmosphere was amazing, interior was very nice and one of a kind. The food… was maybe the best food I had on our vacation!

The restaurant is very cozy and you can only eat here if you have a reservation. I think that makes this restaurant even more special because it’s a one man show here. Saša hosts you and you truly get the private chef experience. We ordered the Buddha bowl and baked seitan with Thai veggies. We both loved our dishes. The portions are huge and definitely shareable. We also ordered the raw cheesecake and chocolate apple cubes for dessert, which were incredible! This place truly deserves all the Michelin stars. You will love it! 💗

We went to Karuzo the night before to make our reservation and then returned the next night and had a delicious, fresh and flavorful meal. I highly recommend the spicy chickpea dish and the nacho salad. It’s a cozy space and it’s very unique to have your chef be so attentive. He clearly cares a lot about the meals he creates. He is strict about the reservations thing. As we ate several people came in and were turned away.

Before I say anything else, take the advice of every review, the signs on the door of the actual restaurant etc, and call ahead and make a reservation. I called, i was offered the 9:30 PM slot the night I called (it was about 6:30 PM at the time), instead I took 6:30 PM the next night. It’s that simple. You can’t just walk in and eat here. Why? Because it’s one guy. It’s one chef offering you a literal private dining experience, he takes your order, advises you, cooks from scratch, presents it to you, and provides enough time for each reservation to devote all of his attention to that party. This apparently bums a lot of people out. As we were eating, people walked in and got turned away - his night was full. This is not fast food. It’s not on demand cooking, this is a unique, intimate, personal dining experience being offered to you with one simple caveat - please make a reservation! Now let’s move on to the food. Karuzo serves fish, vegetarian, and vegan dishes. He will ask you when you sit down what your dietary restrictions are and advise you accordingly on the large and extremely eclectic menu. My fiancé and I are vegans, so right off the bat you could assume we’d be getting a very pared down version of all this restaurant has to offer. Nope. There were tons of options for us and everything we picked was absolutely delicious. And unique. And again, we were sitting there drinking and chatting, with nobody else in the restaurant while this gentleman cooked it all up from scratch just for us. We started with sushi, moved on to main courses (we were advised the portions are HUGE and it was no lie - come hungry! We are Americans so we destroyed it all, no problem) and then onto desert. My fiancé loved the wine selection and went for a second glass of the red wine. I don’t drink and enjoyed a glass of blueberry juice. We got all of this for something like $78 USD once you do the conversion. On a simple “cost to value” basis, this is unbeatable in my opinion. In terms of an elevated vegan dining experience, I will put it in the top 3 I’ve ever had and I’ve been privileged to enjoy delicious vegan food all over the world. Simply put, one of the best vegan dining experiences on earth just happens to be in Sarajevo. Pick up the phone, call ahead and make it happen for you. If the place was open Sundays we would have made a reservation for the very next night right there at the table, but sadly we will be gone from Sarajevo before they open again on Monday night. Do yourself a favor and experience this. I hope to return someday to experience it again myself.

Eating here was a very bizarre experience. While the food was decent, it absolutely did not live up to the reviews as the seafood dishes used frozen (not fresh) seafood for mussels, shrimp, etc. I did make a reservation so we had no issues there, but it was very strange to be sitting in an otherwise completely empty restaurant with one other person and watch the owner/cook/server/busboy berate about a half dozen groups of people who walked in without…honestly, he went out of his way to be overly aggressive in chasing them off. The worst part of the evening was the service. We spent the better part of three hours in the restaurant despite the fact that the number of diners never exceeded five (people, not tables) but the WORST part was that at the end, the owner informed us after the fact that there is a 10% up charge to use a credit card despite the fact that he had visa and Mastercard logos plastered on the door and at no point did he mention this fee until after the fact. I also overheard some really bizarre stuff with the owner and the other table that came in and sat behind me…the gentleman wanted to order bruschetta as an appetizer and the owner refused to serve to one person as the gentleman’s wife was vegan…just very strange and controlling behavior. If you want an interesting story to tell and have hours to kill then by all means check this place out but definitely do not go in expecting great food nor a good value for the money.

The best vegan restaurant in Sarajevo, we are coming here on dinner every year and the quailty of taste, ingridients and polite owner is always on high level, definitely must try vegan restaurant. IMPORTANT information: definitely not come without table reservation via phone or facebook, because only owner is cooking and he likes to give all the best in meal preperation for few tables, it's really worth to wait for a meal to be prepared because tastes are awesome.

Cooking that makes your body happy, with great care and heartfelt work!!! This is absolutely a fantastic, one of a kind restaurant!! If you're vegetarian and/or gluten-free, you MUST try this place. Everything we tried was flavorful, delicious, and beautifully cooked. Even if you're not vegetarian, they offer seafood dishes, too! The owner's love and pride in what he does is evident through our chat with him and his dishes. He is the author of the first vegetarian book published in Bosnia, and he's very knowledgeable of his work as a chef. We stayed in Sarajevo for four days and there are so many restauranta to try, but we chose to eat here twice because it was such a fabulous experience dining in here!

This place is an absolute gem. Just make sure to make reservations. It’s not that it’s crowded, but the owner wants you to have a good dining experience. You will definitely eat well. It’s not exactly Bosnian food, but it provides depth to the type of food available in Sarajevo.

When we first arrived into Sarajevo we walked around to find a place to grab some food. We saw this venue and decided to eat here. When walking in the server was incredibly friendly with a flair and seemed to know what food was on offer. We were sceptical about not being offered a menu but went along with the recommendation. When the food arrived it was lovely, a nice blend of fusion cuisine which we all enjoyed. Upon finishing our drinks we went to pay the bill and found that it was 280 marks (£140) for four meals and a round of beers. Since spending a week this has been the most expensive restaurant we have dined at and took us back from the start of our holiday. I would recommend anyone attending to ask for the menu first before ordering as you will have a better idea of what prices are and can make a better experience

We come here often for a dinner and the is always amazing. Beef, potatoes and salmon fusion we had yesterday was very tasty and fresh! The menu is very simple but everything is great! With years it became a family place for dinner for us. Friendly and helpful staff! All compliments!

We went there expecting something special, but overall it was very average. I do not really understand the hype. Veggie soup was ordinary, thickened with starch. Main meals are called fusion and you are expected to choose what you want - chicken with pasta? Beef with white sauce or red sauce? Everything are variations of these. We got beef with mushroom sauce, salmon with roasted veggies, rice and potatoes. It was not bad, just very boring. I could have cooked it myself at home. There was no culinary twist. For 18 EUR per meal you expect something more.

This place was delightful. If you are planning to visit here, best to make a reservation in advance. They buy their ingredients fresh daily and will turn people away once they run out. The pumpkin soup was amazing. I could eat it all day. The chicken dish was packed with veggies and also very delicious. Served with a side of rice. The beef was tender and juicy in a cream sauce. Served with a side of potatoes. The portion sizes are quite large. Good for sharing. When the weather is nice, they have a lovely patio. Otherwise, the interior dining room is open and welcoming. The music was quite dated and a bit on the loud side for a nice restaurant. Service was excellent.

One of the most extraordinary places to drink a cup of tea. MASSIVE selection of tea, you can smell and choose yourself. Very helpful and sweet staff, you can also purchase the tea in kilos. Definitely a must try tea cafe with a good prices!

The owner, Dr Adnan, described tea as his first love, and that is so evident in his work. He is a tea sommelier, and despite the lack of a tea-drinking culture here, he is still putting just as much love into this shop as ever. The blends are delicious, and the atmosphere is soft. Genuinely a shame I live in the UK. This shop is beyond amazing and the blonde haired lady is a STAR. She was so full of knowledge and the perfect person for this place. As a tea fan it felt like I was in my own little heaven. We love you!

It's a nice, quiet place that you can choose from various tea options. They also have matcha. We tried classic earl grey and matcha, both were good. We paid 12KM for earl grey and matcha but when I checked the receipt later, there was "tea tasting fee" included and it was 2.5KM but we didn't do any tea tasting. I couldn't understand where that fee came from. That's why I'm giving 3 stars instead of 4 or 5. EDIT: I see that the owner said I put them in the wrong light, the price is true and other things are internal matter. I definitely didn't put anyone in wrong light. I am absolutely not obligated to know your internal pricing matters. We drank tea and matcha but I saw a third thing on the bill. Of course I couldn't understand. I realized it later, otherwise I would've asked on the spot. But still, I'm not obligated to know how you do the pricing. You don't even have a menu that we can see the prices. Maybe you can fix this first.

Lovely atmosphere with all the live plants and decorations and the food is some of the best tasting in all of Sarajevo. The service could be better, maybe understaffed a bit on a busy Saturday night where every table was full and there was just one server tending everyone’s needs. Guess that’s part of the vibe though, to feel like you’re at Grandpa’s home and he’ll get to you when he can… Overall I’d return since the food tasted great, portions were good, and price was fair. One of Sarajevo’s unique gems!

I found out about this place when I was looking for kleppe. It has a small entrance that can be missed easily. Inside is really cozy. The food was really tasty and the portions were really generous. We’ve tried kleppe and meatballs in a bread bowl.

Okay, we literally hiked to get to this spot. We walked for about 40 minutes because we’d heard it was amazing—and honestly, even that doesn’t fully explain how great it is. We ordered a side dish called lokumi as part of the breakfast at Avlija, and the kaymak and jam were insanely good. They also serve side salads, delicious sausages, two eggs, and black tea. All of that came to around 38 BAM, if I’m not mistaken. It’s a really cozy place—you kind of feel like you’ve teleported out of the city and into a small town full of greenery and locals. You forget you’re actually still right on the street. Totally worth it.

Great food, great atmosphere. Just a very nice and unique garden with lovely personel. We tried the Begova Soup and Maslanica. The Soup is a must! The protions are huge. We had Soup (almost got full) and shared one main dish.

Very good breakfast restaurant. Fresh juices, rich food platters, traditional and continental cuisine. Nice place and plants, good value for money. Pity they do not have turkish coffee on menu.

What a perfect place to have brunch in saturday morning towards noon with friends over coffee and Bosnian food. The place is not so big but it's arranged well to accomodate a lot of visitors. It feels like having meal in a cozy terrace. It's too bad that they don't open on Sunday as it must be perfect for lazy weekend brunch.

A beautiful place with a bright cozy atmosphere. Their menu is straight forward with a several national dishes, so we ordered ‘mućkalica’ (a medium spicy stew like string beef with peppers and onions), ‘klepe’ (Bosnian “ravioli” with minced beef and garlic), and the ‘kolačići’ (meatballs in cream sauce). They are the only place in the city where kolačići are served in a bread bowl. However, the fish lacked a lot of flavor, I could only taste the cream and bland meat. Maybe a touch of garlic would complete the dish. Yet on the positive note the bread was delicious and the portion was big. The other two dishes were good. The waiter was super nice, but due to him serving the entire place alone the wait was a bit longer. A nice place to visit when in Sarajevo!

We stopped here for coffee and dessert after lunch and were delighted with the calm atmosphere of this café. Traditional Bosnian coffee and homemade cakes make this shop a must for the sweet tooth. Elderflower juice super good too.

You’ll find desserts here that you can’t find anywhere else. The place feels like a real Bosnian home from the vibes to the pastries and coffe The owner is Amire and his mother (she’s the one baking everything) ,he is super nice and welcoming. Everything is homemade and fresh. We also had a great chat with Amire really kind guy! I tried the poppy seed cake (fell in love with it 😍 didn’t even take a photo because once I started, I couldn’t stop until it was gone!), the walnut cake, and the apple pie ,all were amazing!

Had the best brunch here! The owner and his wife run this place and they are a delight. So friendly! They played music especially for us and talked with us about football. It was a great time and I would definitely recommend it to anyone. The savory crepes and toasted sandwich were delicious and so was the coffee. Will probably go back later to try the sweet crepes and see our new friends again!

A great place to rest after sightseeing the city, or to have a delicious homemade breakfast. The cafe is led by a very friendly family who is always ready to have a chat with the guests or just to give them hints about the city. Altogether the cafe is a great place if you want to experience a little bit of the local way of life.

If you are looking for delicious crepes, a perfectly good and strong coffee in a warm atmosphere and you are not looking for the big tourist places, the Cafe August is the perfect spot for you. The owners, an outstandingly friendly lady with her husband were eager to fulfill our wishes, give us information on Sarajevo... They have fair prices, 2 single and one double espresso, 2 crepes and one green tea for 6 euros! We will surely be back!

This is the most amazing place to have a coffee or freshly squeezed cup of juice. The crepes and toasted sandwich is a great quick snack or light dinner. I will never go anywhere else. Everyone needs to go see them !!!!

One of the best spots in Sarajevo, night or day. You get, in my opinion, the best views over the city, but it is just far away enough to feel a sense of seclusion. Liked the vibe and the cakes were excellent. This is a definite if you are in Sarajevo. 6 stars.

Could be good place in a vary good spot BUT they brought me a wrong cake and it was not crispy as described, music was VERY loud, no light because of "ambient" vibe, waiter refused to turn down music from speakers a little and to turn on more light. Chocolate Mahsuzija was good. People smoke on the terrace filling everything with this disgusting smell inside and outside

Every time I visit Sarajevo, I come to this charming caffe. The view is lovely, but I come for a traditional dessert ŽITO SA ŠLAGOM. It is very rare and soooo delicious. The staff are amazing, the outside terrace offers a breathtaking view of Sarajevo.

Absolutely wonderful little café with a wonderful view of Sarajevo, a little hard to find on google maps when following but once you do you will not regret it the iced coffees are amazing and so are the hot drinks thr food options are wonderful too and the atmosphere is really cozy and neighbourly, and to add on the toilets are amazing and amazingly well kept for the male one I can say the free perfume and deodorant they offer is great and the staff is more than friendly all in all its an absolutely wonderful experience at the expense of climbing up to it but once you do it is trully worth it!

I discovered this place last winter during my trip and came here every day. And i visited again on my second trip. Service, view, prices, variety of drinks are all great.

A very cosy coffee shop in the Main Street of Sarajevos old town. We sat inside and it was pretty open at the time, it was 11 am on a Saturday morning. We ordered one Bosnian Dibek Coffee and one Bosnian Ground Coffee. Dibek is the handmade method and there was definitely more flavor to it versus the ground. Overall nice cafe and would recommend it to anyone visiting Sarajevo.

Super cool little spot in Sarajevo's Old Town. Really good coffee (in a city renowned for great coffee) with both traditional Bosnian style and normal espressos, macchiattos etc, set in an old shoemaker's shop. Maida, who runs the cafe, is outgoing, friendly, welcoming and also speaks very good English. Highly recommended!

An interesting concept café: a family-run shoe-making business transformed into a café while preserving traces of its past. The menu is unique, and the handmade organic juice was especially refreshing.

Small local and authentic pastry shop that offers a variety of pastries and cakes. Here I have had the best baklava ever. It was juicy, rich with walnuts and full of flavours. A definite recommendation for this place.

A delightful pastry shop offering authentic Balkan sweets! Everything tastes homemade and full of heart. I discovered Tufahija here for the first time and instantly became the biggest fan — a perfect balance of apple, walnut, and sweetness. A true hidden gem!

The desserts were fully handmade and delicious. There are many types and we had great difficulty when choosing what to eat. The store is a litte bit small though, it was quiet and nice.

Although it's often recommended a lot, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone due to their rude attitude toward tourists. The desserts they sell are average and can be found anywhere in Bascarsija. They serve and earn money from tourists, yet they can’t even bother to respond to a simple "hello" or treat you decently if you don’t understand their language—as if everyone is supposed to know it. I definitely do not recommend this place

I have eaten 'tufahija' in various places in Sarajevo, but this is my favorite place. 💛 Portion is big enough and not too syrupy, you can easily finish it. In other places I ate, I always had to leave it halfway.

The server at this pastry shop, the blond woman with glasses, was incredibly rude and arrogant. She had a terrible attitude and was very condescending. She also pretended not to understand English, only to speak it perfectly later on. It's completely unacceptable to treat customers this way.

We only had drinks here on a Wednesday night. It wasn’t crowded which was good. We sat outside which means that you have to deal with noise from the cars and tram, which was a little annoying but not a huge issue and the alternative is just to sit inside. Service was friendly which was great. Would come back again and try the food next time.

Extremely rude service. They let you in without a reservation, only to rudely kick you out ten minutes later. Completely unprofessional. Would not recommend.

SUMMARY: This is one of the most uncomfortable and unwelcoming places in Sarajevo. Avoid if possible. DETAILS: To start, the place is located right at the noisy road full of cars and trams. Sitting on the terrace is anything but enjoyable. Second, all tables are too close to each other. Sometimes you do not understand to which company you really belong to. Third, and most important, the staff is of such higher opinion of themselves that they have little, if any, regard to guests’ interests and needs. This last point might have changed over time, so take it with a pinch of salt. Food and drinks: nothing to be impressed with; everything is very trivial.

This is urban style local gathering place that has DJs on Thursdays, very nice bar with fabulous crowd. It is important to mention that outdoor seating is extremely important because it faces sun all day long... so during the colder moths there is no better place to have coffee or a sip.

The owner was very unpolite to my friends when I was celebrating my birthday. It was explained to us that we couldn’t sit at the table with our reservation on it because we were blocking the passage to the bathroom. I would not recommend celebrating any special occasion in this cafe because the staff is not professional.

Never have I felt more not welcome than here. After I ordered and started having a good time, the staff and owner insisted that "We were taking up too much space" and took our table (that we reserved that day), turned off the lights above our table, started blasting music above our heads. Generally speeking a very bad experience, would not recommend.

The clientele that visit this place is what I don't like about it. It has charm especially when it's a sunny day however, be ready for second hand smoking session just like in many places in Sarajevo. The prices are higher than the competition. I'd skip the snacks and go to the next door restaurant.

Great vibe-y spot, friendly dude inside and real deal coffee options, like single origin v60s. Cool little outdoor deck on their set back patio to chill and enjoy the day. A great spot for speciality coffee and fruit smoothies.

Possibly the best espresso coffee in the city. If you want Bosnian/Turkish style coffee there are many novelty coffee shops in the old city. If you want coffee with distinct flavours and beans to choose from, then come here. The price is incredibly low for the quality. I paid 3BAM for an espresso. Well worth the little walk up the steps from the church or a few down from the Olympic museum, worth a visit if you are a tourist.

Away from the hustle of the old town and city center, this spot offers a perfectly prepared cappuccino and a variety of other excellent hot coffee drinks.

One of our fav places we visit every time we are in Sarajevo. They have a great coffee. Stuff to improve: bigger variaty of food/cakes (they have barely any), barista could wash hands after cigarette break, less ads for Icos, Aperol and whatever is in the drinks cooler - would help the atmosphere.

Wow - such a great coffee shop with above and beyond service. Coffee was absolutely phenomenal and service was above and beyond too. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a high quality cup of coffee. Do be warned, it is a bit more expensive (5 KM for a cappuccino - but well worth it). They take contactless, card, and cash.

Caffe von Habsburg is a small, charming spot in the center of Sarajevo. The interior is full of vintage details and feels very welcoming. Prices are fair, the service is friendly, and it’s a great place to take a break from walking around the city. A perfect place to relax, enjoy a drink, and soak up Sarajevo’s spirit. Our favourite bar in Sarajevo! Full of character and the owner/staff member was really friendly. Really reasonably priced with a great selection of drinks.

I stopped into Caffe von Habsburg on my walk to Vraca Park and had a enjoyable cup of coffee among a handful of locals starting their morning. The café is full of character, decorated with relics, trinkets, and memorabilia that give it a unique atmosphere. Because I do not speak Bosnian, it helps to know what you want ahead of time or use a translator. I paid with cash.

We had a small bottle of Grashevina wine and didn't stay long. The staff came by quickly and didn't speak too much English. The space is very cute with a little mezzanine where we sat. It was mostly people smoking and talking in the evening. The menu seemed limited, but I think maybe most people come here for a simple place to drink smoke and talk.

I ordered V60 coffee, coffee latte and carrot cake. The flavors were balanced and the aroma was delightful. The barista clearly knew what she was doing. I will definitely be ordering from this coffee shop again. Highly recommend for any coffee lovers out there!

I tried their hot V60 and it was delicious — the place is beautiful with great seating. They also had a lovely welcome gesture with a refreshing drink: water infused with mint. However, the cold V60 wasn’t well balanced. I’d recommend ordering it hot with a side of ice so you can adjust it to your taste.

Stopped here for remote work on my laptop. Found a few outlets. Prices are decent and the space is good enough for work, for sure. Coffee is great! Flat white and espresso were nice. The pistachio raspberry cheesecake was wonderful! I love how thick and chewy the crust is and the flavors are delicious. It’s a bit softer and creamier than the NY style (which is my fav) but this is phenomenal. I would definitely make this a go-to work spot. Also, WiFi is open. I would get kicked off every now and then randomly but just signed back on and it was fine.

Best cup of coffee I had in Sarajevo and the coolest interior. Really nice people working and you get complimentary mint water when you sit down, which I thought was a really nice touch. Has the vibe of an American coffee shop but it’s table service, which is prompt and expedient. I tried a V60 of their Colombian origin and it was bold, strong and delicious. If you are touring the best coffee shops in Sarajevo make sure you pay a visit to this one, I think they have earned the title as the best in the city for speciality coffee

It has a beautiful and relaxed ambience and People were talking and having fun! They have really good coffees and nice workers who speak English well. I spent my time studying finance and the internet connection was very well. And, the most important part is they have a really good music playlist on!🥹 I used Shazam maybe for 10 times hahaahaaha

Specialist coffee shop. Well decorated in a rustic setting, library style almost. There's a smoking and non-smoking area. Different blends on offer. The cappuccino was decent and much better than the usual Balkon coffee. Price is higher though at 4.2 KM. They sell croissants & cakes as well. Plenty of seats along with a non-smoking area on the mezzanine

Very very disappointed. So I ordered the set M which includes 15 pieces rolls and 5 nigiris. I ordered 3 different rolls and one of them was a premium one, with crab meat. It’s not my first time eating sushi so I asked the waiter if it was a real crab, he told me yes. In Bosnian menu it states as “meso krabe”. What they brought me you can see on the picture below. I told the waiter it was not real crab and he told me he doesn’t know, they do it like that. Finally, after a couple of minutes arguing I was offered to change those 5 pieces to another one. That’s why I give them 2 stars. In general the fish on nigiris was good, the problem was the rice. So so overcooked. Without soy sauce it was not possible to swallow it. Also both the rice and the fish were warm… At the end I paid 22€ and had a bad sushi and not even was offered a discount or a comercial gesture.

Really nice cafe to have your coffee, tea or latte with your choice of big selection of cakes. Nice gathering place with friends and families. MAJOR PROBLEM at this place that they don’t have an English menu and the waiters don’t speak English language very well which makes it hard to choose the food that you prefer. Update on Feb 2, 2022 Still the restaurant don’t have an English menu, and the service still slow. I ordered well-done steak but I got medium-rare, so when I told the waiter to cook it more, he took it with twist on his face. Still unfriendly staff. I changed the rating from 2 stars to one ☝️ star ⭐️

Great place with semi outdoor dining area. Serve you with sushi options, italian food and international meals too. Suggestion, perhaps you want to serve Ice Caffe Latte with simple syrup instead of give out sachet sugar, since it is hard to blend with cold water.

Sarajevo has an excellent range of modern European brunch spots. This one, Manolo, was an excellent example. The establishment is large, bright and inviting. The glass counter by the till was very inviting displaying an array of excellently crafted cakes. The quality coffee setup, the welcoming staff and the open expansive outdoor seating area. It was lunch time and I had to grab a seat. I opted for the half price Sunday pizza, a salad and a desert that can only be described as an inside out Ferraro Rocher. All food was prepared fresh and tasted great. The cafe was packed out with people, popularly speaks volumes. The price was astonishing, 4 courses for less than £10!

The restaurant seating area and location is great. I ordered a chicken pasta, it was served cold, the sauce tasted like nothing and the chicken is burnt. The other dish we ordered was a chicken wok, the dish is super salty and the chicken is burnt. I can honestly say that this is the worst meal I had since I arrived in Sarajevo

Wonderful place for breakfast. The portions are really big. I had Avocado Egg Benedict and was full ☺️ It’s allowed to smoke (like everywhere) in the main hall, but you can definitely find place. Highly recommend the place.

An amazing place to have waffles and other desserts in a beautiful, cozy and quiet environment. All the desserts were delicious and the staff were always friendly, helpful and even brought us some juice free of charge while we waited for our orders to arrive. Board games were also provided for the kids to play. All in all, after having an amazing dining experience, I would totally recommend “Jimmy Boss Waffles”.

On our final day in Sarajevo, we came to try Mrvica for breakfast. I ordered my go to - eggs royale and my wife an omelette. The eggs royale came on a croissant from their bakery, instead of the usual muffin or bread. It was very nice. I liked how the tea came with shots of concentrated lemon and orange juice. Mrvica have a large bakery with lots of great options, in terms of breads, cakes and other desserts. Staff members were very friendly and provided great service. Highly recommend!!

Such a nice bakery. Loved loved the Sebastian cheesecake along with the pista sauce, it was too extra delicious. Couldn’t get the hands off. Cafe affogato was so nice too. Overall a nice vibe and good setting

A lovely café with a great atmosphere. We enjoyed the omelette, which was nice, and there’s a fantastic selection of cakes. Unfortunately, some breakfast items like sunny-side-up eggs weren’t available, so the kids couldn’t have a simple option. The tuna sandwich was over-toasted and difficult to eat. Service was quite slow, likely due to how busy it was, but overall still a pleasant experience.

We had a wonderful time here. The atmosphere was pleasant and inviting, the food was good, and the service was really nice. They have a charming backyard too. We sincerely hope to return again.

A large, beautiful cafe. They have a very wide selection of dishes, desserts, and drinks. The cafe is spacious and has plenty of seating, including a small covered patio. The desserts were delicious. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

A difficult place to stay for a long time, for allowing people to smoke inside. The place is left with a cloud of cigarette smoke.

Place is nice, small, not bad..it is cozy. Waiter is okay. On other hand coffee is so bad even it is Julius Meinl. Waiter who works doesn't know how to make it. So with coffee I am so disappointed. But place is tidy and all is in wood. On other side, smoking is allowed inside and place is being very fast smoked. Not good for non smokers and children.

Nice Cafe with the view of the old town. Smoking is allowed inside the cafe. I personally don't like it because it feels stuffy and the smell is awful. The Bosnian coffee is recommendable and affordable.

This cafe offers a great view of Sebilj and Baščaršija. The whole storefront is in transparent glass; so you can enjoy your cup of Bosnian coffee with an unobstructed view. The place is small so it is not suitable for big groups and it gets filled up pretty quickly. I recommend this place!

This was our first coffee shop in Sarajevo and it did not disappoint. Very homey and cosy place to sit and have a coffee, we sat inside. The employee was very nice and attentive. We ordered a Bosnian Coffee and Salep. Overall both drinks were nice, good flavor in both drinks. Affordable prices and would definitely recommend this cafe.

The baklava was very good but the cleanliness of this place is questionable. Look at the cup I was served my coffee in, looks used and unwashed. I had to ask for a straw to use. Service was a bit slow but it was really busy.

This is a gem of a coffee shop in the old town market of Sarajevo. You are greeted with a pleasant smile by the owners and the coffee selection and service is spectacular. There are lots of coffee spots for sure, but this one stands apart with its friendly service and great atmosphere. They also offer payment by card - unusual for coffee spots - making it fantastic for travellers. The interior is also smoke free.

Their coffee tasted much better than at other places I’ve been to. The staff were very attentive. When we accidentally spilled our drink, they brought us a new one without us even asking. The atmosphere is also very nice.

They have very friendly staff. The owner loves to make sure everything is alright, can tell you some cool stories in probably your own language, as he communicates in multiple languages. He also quickly remembers you and always greets you! And you can sometimes even get tea on the house! They have some very good products especially their drinks, whether it's a traditional rose juice or Elder, a classic bosnian coffee or a modern hot chocolate. You can taste that their products aren't just simple industry standards, but hand-made expertise. And when you order a drink you will get it in a bigger size than most other coffee places, which I personally like! The atmosphere is really nice, whether you're alone or not. If you sit inside, you feel close to each other with the design. And on the outside, they somehow manage to do the same. So really amazing!

Atmosphere is pleasant. Service is very good. Inside space looks great. Salep was great. Prices are on the expensive side. We were not satisfied with the lemonade as it did not look the same as in the menu.

I ordered the mushroom pizza and was happily surprised at how good it was. Thin crust with just the right amount of bite, fresh mushrooms, rich tomato sauce. I could have eaten the entire pie, but I forced myself to take a few slices home. The waiter couldn't have been nicer. His English was great and he was helpful and courteous. The view of course, is excellent. I sat outside since the indoor smoking is uncomfortable. Definitely grab a meal here if you get the chance.

The food was great, and the views of the city and mountains were stunning. However, the experience was completely ruined by a few critical issues. Firstly, guests smoking indoors instead of outside is unacceptable and unpleasant. Secondly, the fact that they don’t accept card payments is highly inconvenient. If you don’t have cash, you’re forced to drive all the way down to the city, as there are no ATMs nearby. On top of that, the staff was extremely rude and unhelpful when I didn’t have cash. They should inform customers about the no-card policy when taking orders, not after the fact. What could have been a wonderful evening turned into a frustrating one. Because of this, I will not return.

Absolutely Horrible Experience – Avoid at All Costs! If I could give this place zero stars, I would. We came here for what we hoped would be a nice dinner, but instead it turned into a complete nightmare. Within hours of eating, everyone in our group got food poisoning. To make matters worse, the staff was shockingly rude. When we politely mentioned that something tasted off, we were met with eye-rolls and passive-aggressive comments. No apology, no concern, just pure indifference. I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone. Save your money, your health, and your dignity — go literally anywhere else.

I’ve always enjoyed this place — the view is stunning, and past visits were lovely. Unfortunately, this time was different. When it started raining, we tried to stay seated and added protection to the damp chairs ourselves. Instead of any understanding or courtesy, the waiter approached us loudly and rudely, as if we were an inconvenience. I told him he could’ve said it in a more respectful way, but the damage was done — we left. It’s a shame when a beautiful view is overshadowed by poor service and lack of basic hospitality.

Wonderful cafe/restaurant with a large menu and drink selection. Very spacious, indoor and outdoor seating. Relaxed casual atmosphere. We visited several times on our trip and had lunch/coffee. Prices are very reasonable and portion sizes are generous.

The food was good, the mocktail wasn't sweet, the waiter was rude when we asked him a simple question, very unfriendly. on Google they've posted their times and as today is Saturday, it said that they close at 11:30PM on Saturdays but when we got there they said they close at 9pm.

Took a little too long for the server to take our orders as there were very few customers but other than that - a great place for breakfast and bosanska kafa. They also play good tunes.

Really love this place, I walk past this establishment almost daily and today was the first time I decided to check them out. The atmosphere is nice and open because of the glass walls. It's located in the corner of ARIA, the big shopping center in that part of town. Seating is mostly for groups of four. Pricing is on the more expensive side but still reasonable. I got the Rice Curry which was pretty good if I may say so myself. The waiter that was assigned to my table was pretty nice and welcoming. Overall I've had a great experience but sadly it was a bit ruined because of a bunch of kids that were running around making a buunch of noise. So not really a place where you can get some peace and quiet since it's so available and in the center of happenings. Nevertheless I still believe you should go check them out, maybe your experience is a bit better than mine.

Waiter was really kind and polite. They have separate place for smoking and non smoking. Food was ok, rice was dry. All in all a nice place at the shopping mall to have a drink or something to eat.

Fantastic place where you can have greater breakfast options: pancakes made with love, absolutely delicious. A must in Sarajevo!

The waitress literally laughed at us for ordering pancakes with fruit, saying the season was bad (I don’t think they use fresh fruit at any time of the year). When I asked for waffles with pistachio, she dismissed it, claiming the cream didn’t go well with waffles. What we got in the end were so-called “pistachio” pancakes with cream that tasted expired. There was nothing pistachio about them (can’t count the expired cream) it was just cheap fluorescent red and green syrups on top of stale dough. To make it worse, the waitress was talking on the phone while serving us. The food was awful, the service was rude and unprofessional. Absolutely do not recommend.

While waiting for an apartment owner my friends and I had the fortune of discovering this wonderful place and its friendly baristas. The view on the river is very nice and the staff is welcoming and knows how to speak English very well.

Let me start off by saying this place has potential. Food was ok, my younger children enjoyed their pancakes (3 stars for that and because my little one asked for spaghetti pancakes with fruits and chocolate dressing but got Oreo ones, it’s fine since he likes Oreos) my daughter and I wanted to order an omelet and it was “unavailable”. How is an omelet unavailable? Is it because they didn’t stock up on eggs , or because the employee didnt feel like making it. Guess I’ll never find out Well, we ended up ordering a toast per servers recommendation since we both wanted something savory for breakfast. It was a joke for how much it costs. It was something my 5 year old could put together for an after school snack. It was literally a couple of plain, dry pieces of thin white bread with a slice of cheese and couple of pieces of meat. It’s very “meh” and we both left unsatisfied. Pistachio latte was tasty but very sweet. Place is small and cute, but it was messy. It seemed like there was a party as there were old deflated balloons left hanging on the walls and on the floor around our table. It was hot inside, doesn’t seem like there’s A/C and not enough ventilation to move the air through the establishment. There were flies and mosquitoes everywhere! None of us could enjoy our time here as we were too busy swatting the insects. Also there were so many of them that we couldn’t keep them off our food. Our server was sweet. She was the only person there so it took a bit longer to get food out. And we were the only people in the restaurant. For the cost of the items on the menu, service and food could definitely use some improvements. Not sure I would return here any time soon as there are far more eating establishments that offer better overall experience.

This is the fifth or sixth chance that I’ve given them to improve, but I will definitely not be eating again after today. Four of us ordered food, we ordered quite a lot, the restaurant is five minutes away from our location and still the food was totally cold, tasted weird and the portions were tiny (picture of the grilled vegetable portion size attached). Their food is not cheap and the value for money just isn’t worth it

Honestly, if I could give zero stars, I would. I'm not sure under what circumstances this place is still operational, but their food is completely inedible. The chicken salad is disgusting. It looks like it was chewed up and spat out. I'd rather eat my cat’s canned chicken food than this. AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!!

After our walking tour, our guide recommended to go here for nice desserts. We were pretty keen on trying the Tufahija which is a poached apples stuffed with a walnut filling, sitting in syrup and with whipped cream. We also ended up ordering Walnut Baklava, Hurmasica and Kadaif. The Tufahija was definitely our favorite. All the other desserts were ok.

Visited Palma several times during my stay in Sarajevo. This dessert parlor offers a more local, off-the-beaten-path experience cause it's far from Baščaršija and rather serves as a neighborhood spot. Wonderful service and friendly attentive staff. Their desserts are exceptional! There are some classics across the former Yugoslavia that you won't find anywhere else (e.g., Reforma or Bajadera cakes). You can basically order anything on the menu because it will always be the right choice.

Among the luxurious cafes in Sarajevo, the atmosphere is beautiful, especially in the evening, sitting to the tunes of the piano and playing. We thank our host for inviting us to eat cake and drink coffee in this cafe.

Amazing chill summer atmosphere. Perfect place for relaxed night out. Not noisy but slightly crowded. Wide choice of drinks (no alcohol) and shisha aromas. Long haired waiter, named Haris, is super pleasant. Service above the excellent level. For sure not a tourist trap. Worth a visit! 5+++

Went here multiple times during my trip. The best hookah in town. Customer service is exceptional, especially Reha! Super cool and very friendly. I’d highly recommend to just sit back, relax and smoke some very fresh hookah!

Very pleasant and unique place to hang out with friends

Came out on a Friday night super excited for how much research we did on this place. Did our best to recognize how busy everyone must be who works here. So we waited - politely made eye contact with at least 4 employees as they passed us over and over again. Maybe they’re not the host, maybe it’s a sit as you find seating place, etc. So we asked a guest leaving how he was sat and he goes “that guy over there sat us”. So I tried to say hi to him several times - same experience. Hoping to just get some info I finally flagged him down and asked for a table for four - then the man who saw us waiting there, obviously new faces, multiple times as he passed us finally said “we’re full”. A busy evening doesn’t excuse you from being negligent when a simple acknowledgment will do.

Ok, this looks amazing, and this is exactly why we went here. HOWEVER, the waffle is put into a plastic cup, the waffle is fresh and warm, all the toppings go in which makes the waffle soggy and extremely difficult to eat. It does get quite sickly. The initial bite is lovely, but after that you're literally fighting to scoop it up with a provided plastic spoon as well as trying not to break the plastic cup. If you like a good challenge or up for a food fight that tastes nice initially, this is your go too, 🤣 Staff struggled to understand me pointing at the board of the waffle I wanted, maybe they were being awkward...... who knows...... I'm sure most people understand 'snickers bubble waffle' the most popular one on the board?? Oh well....... highly doubt I'll ever have one of those again...... Oh and be warned, the floor is super sticky!!

not sure if anything changed in the last few months, but i only went here once and never wanted to return. the food was good. the bubble tea was mediocre and the service was terrible and very rude. the place has potential, i will not deny that but i really hope for their sake that they improved the quality of their bubble tea and the way their staff are handling their customers.

Beatiful place to enjoy and the only place witj bubble tea. The best bubble waffles and pancakes in town (you shoud also try "sutlija"). They also have vegan oat meal, smothies and fresh juices. It is located in one of the most beautiful streets in the city where you can also find super places to eat (Kebab House) and famous bar best known as "Kod Rake", all located near to Museum of Literature & Performing Arts.

Great selection of amazing sweets and very polite staff. Their bubble waffles are far from something I could or should eat every day, but they very delicious and you can find something that fits your tastes easily (as long as you like sweets). Their bubble tea is not my favorite in the city, but it is refreshing and fun to drink.

The WORST coffee shop experience in Sarajevo: please RUN AWAY! When we asked for the menu , the waitress seemed so annoyed to give it to us. When we were ready to order, she literally sighed and rolled her eyes before coming to us. Finally, we all had asked for small sizes coffees and she served everyone an XL sized coffee. Once we told about this, she kept saying that is what we asked for. She charged us extra sizes… She never smiled or tried to understand anything. She just kept being annoyed being on her phone and seeemed bored the entire time. Tourists keep away! Not recommanding at ALL.

A must try when you’re in Sarajevo. A great place to sit and chat or read a book on one of the more quiet streets of the Capital. The Iced Caramel Macchiato (6.50 KM / £2.84) I had was insanely good, as was the slice of Caramel Cake (5.5 KM / £2.40). For the price you simply cannot get better. The service is attentive, quick, and easy. Both cash and card payments are accepted. There is also a book store next door that sells great tote bags, I myself purchased three. The lady who works there is super friendly and welcoming. Give them a look!

A very cosy little bar in the Old Town away from the hoards of tourists. I came here often to read in peace. The Bosnian coffee and Turkish tea here is excellent (not to mention well-priced for this part of town), and the staff is very friendly.

At first it seemed as a comfy little retro caffe, but after 5 minutes sitting here I witnessed a scene that is just awfull. Owner of the caffe didnt want to move a few chairs so a car with materials can pass. So a female waitress from a nearby caffe started moving them and then he started throwing chairs around and eventually he hit the young waitress. The most foul thing about that is that employees of "Lehari" were approving that action. Very ugly scene in the heart of Sarajevo.

Spotted Fabrika, and stopped for an iced Spanish latte. They have an extensive menu, with a lot of options and blends of coffee (from various places across the world); as well as tea. Riyad, the person working at the shop was friendly and made the coffee very well!! Definitely recommend!

We were in Sarajevo 6 years ago, and randomly found this place. We didn’t know inside was such a beauty! So during our current visit to Sarajevo we wanted to visit them again, unfortunately I didn’t bookmarked the place so we had to look for every bar/pub/cafe in the area to find them! 😅 and on our last day before our flight, we found the place! We told them about this same story, and we chatted with this old lady here and her friend, we enjoyed this conversation a lot and even took a picture together. To our luck, Milomir Kovacevic was also there, we had the pleasure of chatting with him too! To me highlight of this place is the entrance, you enter and owner and couple of her friends chatting each other near entrance, it just gives me peace. Then you sit at a table or a couch inside, music is not loud, smoking is not allowed, you can just have a nice conversation without shouting or trying hard to hear your partner. I liked the detail in the menu: they don’t serve drinks to people who come to this place with sportswear. They want people to come here with proper clothes :)

We were not allowed to sit inside and were told to sit outside instead. We ordered one coffee to share (we only wanted to pop in for 5 minutes) and almost got into an argument with the waitress, who wanted us to order two drinks. The waitress got the order wrong and brought an espresso instead of a coffee with milk. The atmosphere is nice by the river and flower decorations outside are beautiful. Decent price

I have been several times in this place where the old lady runs the business. She has enough English to order. The interior of the place is almost like a museum, every detail is worth looking. It had a very nice decoration especially at Christmas time, reflecting the Christmas spirit. I'm sure the garden will be quite enjoyable in the summer.🌿

The most memorable finding in terms of cafe bars in Sarajevo! First, my respects to the all so authentic lady serving by herself and managing the whole place, she is so firm and straight face and careful, it’s worth going there for her alone, it makes you wonder what she must have gone through in that city. The drinks, both soft and strong are very affordable in comparison to any bar in the area. Inside, the place looks like an antique shop set in someone’s living room with many many objects from dolls to paintings, an old telephone et cetera. It is original, authentic, preferred by locals, away from the rush and crowd in the old town. I dearly recommend this place, and if I find myself in Sarajevo ever again, I will surely stop there again. Remember that in Sarajevo, therefore at Linea M too, smoking it’s allowed indoors.

Authentic bar. Respect for the old lady, running the house all by herself. The inside is like an old living room. The terrace outside is usually quite busy. Prices are great. Cappuccino for 2km

Lovely place with a direct view to the main post office. Its' balcony is covered in plants and vegetation which makes it the perfect place to cool off during warmer days in Sarajevo. The interior is extremely detailed and beautiful with each object inside representing a different tale to tell! I definitely recommend this place to anyone who has an opportunity to do so.

Hosts are truly friendly, atmosphere is very relaxed and Behar's location couldn't be better. Bosnian coffee is served in a traditional style - copper đezva, rahat lokum, a glass of water and sugar cubes.

Nice cafe with delicious cakes and traditional Bosnian coffee. Staff were very nice and quick to take our order even when it was busy.

Tasteless food. I found a fly in my ice cream and the waitress kept telling us she couldn’t make half the items on the menu that we requested. Poor service, not welcoming. Like many places in Sarajevo insist on paying in cash. Stay clear!

Unfortunately, my experience at this pastry shop was disappointing. The dishes we received were dirty – the plates and spoons had visible food residue and stains, which raises serious concerns about hygiene. In a place that serves desserts and drinks, cleanliness should be a top priority. I hope the management takes this issue seriously and improves their standards, because the location and selection have potential, but hygiene is essential.

Staff are very rude. Seems very racist and didn't serve us even when we stood right in front of the counter. They totally ignored us and there was 4 of us. The first time the staff pushed past us the second time totally ignored us even when we were standing in front of the counter.
