Cute place and good food! The French toast was especially delicious. Had a lemon pastry as well and that was very good. Reasonable prices!

Unfortunately I found this place on our last day. I would have eaten here everyday to make my way through the menu. This restaurant literally changed the way I feel about breakfast. From start to finish it was perfect. Its been 5 days and I am still talking it. Food is fresh served hot within minutes after ordering. The cost.....who cared. It's a really hiden gem. I am going back for sure. Loved, loved and loved this place.

What a lovely place! Just a block away from where we were staying too! Great latte! The wait staff were super friendly and attentive, not overbearing. I had the croque madame, and hubby had the eggs Benedict. Both were delicious! The tomatoe dude salad was great too! Very flavorful tomatoes. Brought home some croissants but have yet to eat them but can't wait!

Good service overall and the food presentation and quality is very good. We went back twice during our stay. The lattes were excellent! I enjoyed the Huevos Mornay and Claras.

I went here for breakfast and immediately ordered a latte. After a long wait we asked and they brought out our drinks. They were already cold. They offered to fix it and brought back the same drink reheated. We complained that they did not look right. They take the drinks back and try to make them look better like they were remade. After a few minutes you can see in the photo that the milk has been steamed, cooled and reheated by the large bubbles. Avoid the uncomfortable chairs and bad service. Overpriced and low quality!

Wow!!! The food is amazing and fresh. We had the omelette a su gusto and Los huevos divorciados they were phenomenal! We recently went to Mexico City and it’s been hard to find a good chocolate croissant after experiencing Rosetta Panadería but this place is very close to perfecting it!!! Amazing, we also had a great cup of coffee and green juice. The atmosphere is peaceful they have music at a decent volume in which you can enjoy your company.

Delicious food, very friendly staff. The best cinnamon roll i ever tasted! Omlettes taste great. All i can say is it is a must go place.

Food was decent, the service was OK, the atmosphere is very nice. I ordered a Lonche de pancita (pork belly sandwich) and got a sandwich that, in my opinion, was pork leg. I didn't want to wait to wait to discuss and maybe get a replacement sandwich, so I just went ahead and ate it. It was OK, but with the Pajarito (bottled) salsa added, the flavor improved. Their cappuccino is very delicious. The atmosphere is nice. I sat at the bar, the service was mixed, with some servers being very attentive, while my server was just OK at best. I will come back to try other items in the menu, and will seat in their patio next time.

Delicious and absolutely would go back! The iced latte was great, and they made a flat white cold for my friend as well. The waiters were very helpful and suggested good plates based on my allergies. I got 2 different vegetarian tacos, which came on blue corn tortillas, and they were SO tasty. Very different flavors between the two - which was wonderful. Their hot sauce was worth a try as well, such a nice kick! This adorable cafe has multiple levels and spaces to sit, so you could have a favorite spot or a different one each time. The atmosphere is lovely at lunch time - very chill and open.

Pal Real is one of my favorite places in Guadalajara, Mexico! Conveniently located in Arcos Vallarta, all the food is freshly made, and the cocktails are truly craft! These pics are just a few of my favorite things, because everything is delicious. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the music and general atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. You will not regret making Pal Real a spot to visit when you’re in Guadalajara!

My visit to Cafe Palreal in Guadalajara left much to be desired. The food, unfortunately, fell below my expectations, with offerings that were decidedly below average in taste and presentation. It seemed like a missed opportunity for a culinary delight. The service, while not notably poor, failed to leave any lasting positive impressions. It was a functional experience, but nothing about it stood out as particularly special or attentive. The lack of exceptional service added to the overall mediocrity of the visit. In conclusion, Cafe Palreal might be an option if you're in need of a quick bite, but for those seeking a memorable culinary or service experience, there are likely better choices in the area. The cafe has room for improvement to truly stand out in the competitive food scene of Guadalajara.

Poor customer service they only had 4 tables , a lot of staff. It took them 15min to notice we were waiting to place our order. Drink we're late. Waitress awful service and they guy with glasses and tattoos was in another world in his mind. Definitely this place is not worded for me. I believe the torts ahogadas right in front gives you a better service than this piece of crappie place.

Excellent place for coffee and breakfast. I love their versions of classic breakfasts, and the fact that they don't give you huge portions. I had two breakfasts there with coffee, perfect way to start the day.

The best coffee shop i’ve tried in Guadalajara. Great food and good coffee bean variety. The filtered drinks were really nice on the mouth. The milk based drinks were a little taim on the flavor, not enough punch on the taste but good and enjoyable. I’ll go back for sure.

When the city has elegant tea shops like this it's a credit to that city. They offer fine grades of tea as well as pour over coffee choices and some grape food. The seating is comfortable and The Wi-Fi was about 250 / 250. Since it has been raining there was quite a few mosquitoes so bring your spray or wear long pants.

Amazing cosy space to relax, unwind and concentrate. Ideal to spend some time alone or with friends, accompanied with a zip of your preferred cup Of tea. Walking through the establishment towards the back terrace is the way to go, in general; great value for money and a must for those looking to discover new hidden spots in a loud and hectic metropolis.

They say they are open 8am to 11pm, but no mention of not serving the full menu between 1pm and 3pm. We arrived at 2pm, so I was rather disappointed that I could only order fruit and a few other basic things. I would suggest making it clear on your Facebook page or somewhere similar. Restaurant itself was small and cosy with outdoor seating facing the road. At the time we went, it wasn't busy at all and I enjoyed the summer garden atmosphere.

The only thing I like is their version of the torta ahogada teteria style.. I forgot the name .. but don't ever drink an American coffee cause it taste like water and no refill... And tiny mug.. for like a baby ... The place is well located.. love the ambiance... The staff is friendly and nice.... But they must be artist cause they forget things all the time... I love the decor inside. Worth visiting... If they had better coffee and put more attention I'd be there alot.

Heads up foreigners, there is a 7% hidden charge when using your US credit card. The staff says they can't change it, but it's some crap. Check your receipts

The cafe late' was ok, the french toast was disgusting. It was served in just a few minutes so was either premade or was delivered frozen but it wasn't cooked to order and was cold. We were afraid the eggs were still raw and didn't eat it. We told the employees but they didn't seem to care.

Cool place to hang around with friends over a bottle of red or coffee. They had pastries and cakes but we opted for savory treats. The avocado sandwich was lacking in avocado but the ciabatta bread was delish. A former mansion with different rooms probably for special events however only the foyer and the main lobby were open. Interesting interior but could be better

LOOKING for a relaxing spot to grab breakfast? Look no further than Jardín Cafeto. Located in an older, renovated home, a tranquil ambience makes the perfect setting to chat over chilaquiles. I tried the chilaquiles trivorciados (which literally means a three-way divorce). It is called that because they throw in a sample of all three salsas: red, green, and the in-house variety, which is the spiciest of all. I would say the food was good, but not great. The service was OK, just because the waitress seemed to be on the slow side. But the atmosphere was quite relaxing.

Great location to wait for a friend who was renewing her visa. Friendly staff, food was tasty, and the location was comfortable. I sat outside to enjoy a beautiful day. Unfortunately, the flies ruined my breakfast. Jardin Cafeto also played the worst music I've heard in a long time - elevator music. All English music but remade. I will try this place again, but I will sit inside without the flies and hopefully without the music.

This is the most awful place I have been, if I could give it a BIG FAT O , I WOULD, The servers were young ,too busy chatting with each other than actually serving their customers, it was not busy at all, waited 20 mins for a waitress to attend but to no avail, walked out. To the proprietors , please get someone who is actually wanting a job and want to work.

Pretty place but my cesar salad was very disappointing. It had a smug of mayo dijon dressing and was given oil and vinegar to dress my salad. Dry chicken pieces. Not a cesar salad by my standards. Waste of money.

Just had breakfast the other day with my family at Jardin Cafeto and the service was BAD to say the least. Beto, our waiter took 30 minutes to take our order and took for ever to refill for coffee. Food was good though but won't be coming back in my life and don't recommend coming back here at all.

We got sick from the food. The waiter was nice and cordial, the food was terrible I do not recommend this restaurant at all.

The food is outstanding! Tasty and exceptional presentation. I would come back here again! Service by Martin was excellent. He was personal and described the menu items very well. Our family of 4 appreciated the good food and wonderful staff.

So many places around for buffet and it’s good to pick the better one to make your trip worth it. This place has a better option than most because the stations are spread apart. You have a taco station on one side and then the omelette/chilaquiles station on the other. Then you can go inside the room where it has the desserts and hot foods lined up for what you appetites craves. The only thing this room needs is a circulating fan that can help the many flies from touching the food. It’s very unsanitary and a shame to spoil really decent looking food! Or another option is placing sticky fly traps or those Electric machines to zap away all the annoying flies around the tables and food areas.

This was a pleasant find in this area. Ate in the courtyard (patio) and both service and food were above what I anticipated. Favorite was the cevíche tacos. Other ting were excellent as well.

We came in this restaurant while we were not even hungry. We were greeted by the bartender, Paloma, very sweet and helpful to understand the options for our drink. We ordered the adelita rosa per her suggestion and it was so delicious that we ordered more. And then she introduced our server , Santiago, who was fast and helpful. He suggested the special plate, Chile en Nogada, and explained the story and history behind it. It was fascinating enough that we orders one to try. To Our surprise , we finished the food and thanked him for suggesting this fodd to us. This chile en Nogada is the one dish that exceeded our expectations in every aspect. We will be back because we had so much fun making these memories. The experience exceeded our expectations.

It was a good experience we had eating at this place, it gers noisy in the mornings, food is good, the prices are a little but expensive, overall we had a good time. We recommend this place.

Beautiful fresh savory food

I give a 3 star rating because the food was good, there is lots of room for improvement as far as the service goes. Servers were just focused on taking food to the tables, I had to wave down people to get more coffee and bread. If you don't have children, I recommend to avoid the weekends, it gets pretty chaotic with a bunch of entitled kids running around.

The place is nice. The coffee and the bread (Pan dulce) were very good. Prices are fare. Food in general wasn't that good. And service was irregular. At first we had three waiters and later no one was around.

Ehhhh...it was ok. The one thing I liked is the small kids area to play. It's small, but my son liked it. The coffee was good. Play it safe and order chorizo con huevos. Service was good. I would only come back for coffee and watch my son play.

Nice, clean, decent food, good coffee, decent service. I ordered the Terrible Bacon and Cheese sandwich which was OK. I also ordered two macchiattos whose flavor, body, foam were perfect but the drink was warm (not hot). I may comeback to try other food items, but will make sure to ask that my cortado coffee be hot.

Saw many recommendations for this place so had to try it but it was disappointing to me because most of their dishes had gores of cheese. Still had to atleast try their bacon laced cheese dish. It was way too "cheesy" but enjoyed eating the bacon however my daughter who likes cheese thought it tasted good especially since it was drenched in syrup. The saltiness from and bacon and cheese was balanced with the syrup. One and done for me.

Best breakfast sandwich of my life. Something was calling to me when I walked by and it was the savory and sweet bacon wrapped breakfast sandwich.

I found this place doing my research to visit Guadalajara. Right in the middle of Americana, blocks from Paseo Chapultepec. The staff is awesome, the service is fast, and the food doesn’t disappoint. Very affordable pricing. They are also pet friendly. Definitely worth the stop. I’ll keep going back.

Great service, great music and vibes. DELICIOUS food. We both had the burger and it’s an easy 5/5. The patty had a strong charred flavour and they used fresh, high quality ingredients. I also came here for brunch on the weekend and the food was just as good. Prices are very reasonable ($300 MXN for 2 burgers for dinner, $325 MXN for brunch).

I did ask for chilaquiles with extra beef. What a deception! The chilaquiles salsa was too basic and the extra meat portion is ridiculously tiny. Definitely not a balanced dish.

Great place for breakfast. I had their panela in salsa roja with café de olla which was wonderful. My sister really enjoyed their enchiladas rojas de queso. She said they were simply delicious. We will surely come back next time we’re in the city.

In all honesty it was our second choice for breakfast but I can’t tell you why. Cafe Paloma was friendly and good. A nice neighborhood place that seems to be one big balcony. Price is decent and selection is quite traditional. My native friends agreed it serves authentic Mexican cuisine. I likely would have given more stars but the table, floors and bathroom needed more attention— far too sticky and dirty to have remained that way for the time I was there.

It's a nice small bistro has a good selection of food and fresh bread. Coffee is good also. The only negative is the parking it'd extremely limited.

Lovely bistro with a extensive dine in menu as well as a take-out bakery. I had the chilaquiles and was very impressed. They bring you a bread basked with a assortment, chocolate croissants, all baked to perfection. Their coffee beverages were great as well. There is normally a wait (worth it), and they do not take reservations.

Ohlala Guadalajara is one of my favorite go to places for bread and breakfast! I absolutely love the Ohlala Tuna Eggs Benedict. So if you are a seafood lover it's a must try! They have an amazing bakery packed with croissants and amazing dessert! Staff was friendly and attentive. Facilities are clean. Service was fairly fast. During the morning hours they can be extremely busy starting at about 8AM to 12PM.

Excellent service, delicious spot to go for a relaxed brunch. Definitely a must eat. Don't forget to check out there bakery on the way out.

If you want to get a nice brunch, i recommended fully, the monsieur baguette is out of world, if you are ok eating spicy, add some "chiles toreados" to it. From the bakery, the cranberry bisquet is my recommendation

Great food. The service I received at this particular location was somewhat lacking the day I came. The other’s are great, and it very well might have just been that one day.

I came here with the multilingual conversation club and it was an excellent experience! We were a big group but we had a reservation and the servers accommodated us by putting tables together and it was impressive that they remembered all our names and whose dishes were whose! I had the funky chicken sandwich, it was delicious. 10/10 recommend.

The food was ok, looked just as what we expected. Staff were nice too and all plates were served fast, but the problem was the way they deal with tip jajaja... We were told that we cannot pay tip by an individual plate and should pay in percentage of total, so we changed our mind not to pay. However, we were charged 10% for the tip and asked them back to cancel it. Yet the staff told me that it takes 3 days to receive the amount and I said still its ok. Then she suddenly changed her attitude saying its impossible to cancel and kept talked about bank... I mean why does BANK matters when we just want refund of wrong charges?! It DOESNT MAKE SENSE at all😂😂 The most unsensible moment in GDL jajajajajaja

Great drinks many kind of drinks, we try chai vanilla , golden milk, matcha coco and was amazing. Good pasta with shrimp 🦐. Coming back.

They brought me the wrong drink and then blamed me for it and didnt want to exchange it because I took a sip (that is how I found out it was the wrong drink.) They finally swapped it and lectured me on the difference between the drinks. I know the difference, its why I ordered the one I ordered. It finally arrived and it was the worst chai latte I've ever had. Not sure if that was intentional but I wouldn't be suprised. Other than that, the atmosphere is very nice. Its just a shame and unprofessional how they choose to handle situations like that.

Sadly the sopa azteca was not served with cheese and the tomato base was very plain. Essentially we were served plain tomato soup with tortilla chips. Very disappointing. The orange juice was also very sour. Wouldn’t return.

This new coffee shop in the neighborhood was recommended by a barista, so I decided to check it out. I tried two different kinds of coffee. While the medium roast for the pour-over wasn’t my favorite, it was still pretty good overall. One thing I appreciated is that they have an English menu, which explains each food item really well. Their food options are more extensive than most coffee shops, and the quality is definitely above average. I ordered the French Toast Reload, and it didn’t disappoint! It comes with gelato and their house-made jam, which made it a unique and delicious treat. Overall, I wouldn’t highly recommend it, but it’s definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area and looking for good coffee and food.

Wonderful location, space and service. Their breakfast options are incredible, I really enjoyed Los Canadiana and excellent matcha. Also, I never had an matcha affogato before and it was amazing! I chose stracciatella flavor with almonds

Such a wonderful breakfast spot with a relaxing atmosphere ✨ We went to the back in the garden for a nice chill breakfast. Loved all the seating choices - indoors or out. I didn’t see gluten free bread on the menu but I also didn’t ask. I got a frittata to avoid gluten (I’m allergic) and it was delicious! If I go back I’d ask about the bread because they have some lovely looking toast orders as well. They were able to make my cappuccino on ice and that was perfect on a warm Tuesday morning! Would definitely return to this sweet spot.

I stopped by around 2PM on a Saturday. There were plenty of seats to choose from. In the 90-degree weather, I chose to sit outside by the plants to feel the lovely breeze during my meal. I chose the vegetarian lasagna, capri salad, and a glass of red from Ensenada. If you can't tell by the vivid colors in the pictures, the ingredients were fresh and in season as each bite was a delight. The salad and the lasanga were the perfect tart and sweet combo. The wine was served chilled and I let it come up to room temperature and aerate so I could truly taste the wine. It paired well with the lasanga and it was tasty enough to warrant another glass. Shout-out to Nicole who was my server throughout the meal and attentive throughout my time at Neretta. I recommend stopping by if you're in the area. I'd definitely consider going again as what originally drew me to this place was the coffee which I choose not to partake in this particular trip.

Cute little brunch spot! It gets a little packed on the weekends. They have great brekkie options with eggs and brioche. We had the canadiana and santos- both were good, especially with their hot sauce! They also specialize in ice cream. We had strawberry, chocolate and ginger. My favorite is actually the ginger one- it’s so surprisingly good!

We had a Great breakfast. This places has a great atmosphere and enjoyed the music that was playing. My only comment would be on the service. They seem to disappear for periods of time. Other than that its a great place.

It was my first time in this type of restaurant and they didn’t disappoint me. Tried their flautas and horchata both were really tasty and delicious. Service was fast. Staff was attentive.

The Menudo was perfect. Second time returning here. Large restaurant to fit your large family. Will definitely be my number 1 spot.

This is by far the best menudo I've ever had. It's also the first time I tried Menudo de lengua, and what a treat. They come to your table with the meat already in a bowl. It's a generous serving. Then they pour the menudo broth in. The lengua was tender and seasoned perfectly. The broth was so tasty and hearty. We also got fresh tortillas that were definitely hand-made. All of the normal fixings were available and they were all very fresh. The atmosphere was really great. Everyone in the restaurant was really happy. I can see why the patrons were happy, it's because the food was so good. The employees were also very happy and attentive. The service was top-notch. The building is really very large and it was completely full, which is a testament to how good the food was. The decor was very nice and the restaurant was extremely clean. I can't wait to go back to Jalisco so I can visit this place again. I've already recommended it to several people who were grateful after they got the chance to try it too.

If you're a big lover of "Menudo" this is the Right place to enjoy it. Come with a good appetite.

I'm not a fan of menudo but I decided to give this place a try and it met my expectations in a good way, I went for a menudo of tongue with 'pancita' and wasn't smelly nor gave me a bad aftertaste. For people that loves this dish this is place is a must to visit, the service is great, we didn't have to wait a lot (around 10 minutes) to get a table, even though we went on a busy Sunday. Prices and serving sizes are great (not cheap but also not pricey for what you get), there are also other options like chilaquiles, molletes (sweet or salty), beef tongue in sauce, juices, coffee, hot chocolate and shakes. 👌🏻

Wow they have some great food here at a fantastic price. And the service is great as well. Just beware of the Wi-Fi may not work and so they may have a hard time processing your credit card. Then again and mainly be very large amounts where they have a hard time processing your credit card. not sure about the credit card but the foods and service is great.

I've been a fan of this restaurant for a few years now. What I appreciate about it, is it's consistency. Quality of food and service. Without fail. Menudo, café de la olla, and a mollete de nata y miel. Is my order this trip. I'll there in a few weeks. I'm from California and this is a must stop for me whenever I'm in town. I highly recommend for those who want to enjoy classics with a white cloth.

Cool little place inside of a small market. There is nice and lively atmosphere with lots of locals and the restaurant’s open kitchen. :-) We got to the restaurant at 11 am on Sunday and waited for 15 minutes or so after listing our name. The food is fresh, sophisticated, and reasonably priced. Each plate was small, however, it was all satisfying because of its presentation. We will come back for more soon!

HIGHLY recommend eating here at least once if you're visiting Guadalajara. One of my favorite eating experiences here so far. I had the Gordita de mole dulce (perfection) and the Cuachala de pollo (delicious!). Service was great and I loved sitting at the long communal table. Heading back again tomrrow.

Wow! What a gem! I will tell everyone that comes to GDL to try this delicious restaurant. From the cafe de olla being incredible as is, to the food, to the atmosphere - this place is a must. I’m so glad I had a friend take me here!! The coffee was delightful, hints of chocolate and cinnamon as I was sipping 😍 I didn’t expect it and was so grateful. They also had a selection of regular or carbonated kombucha that I tried. The two meals we shared - quesadilla and encotijada - blew me away. I wish I could have ordered them both again. And my friend has tried most things on the menu and says they’re all just as good. Allergy wise - they use blue corn tortillas, which were delicious! I was surprised since flour is so much more common in Mexican food but also grateful! If you’re allergic to lactose - being lactaid! It’s worth it!! Also, it was super fun sitting at the long family style table. But I’d say look at the typical traffic time because there were rarely more than two spots available together while we were there. Incredible! I hope to go back!

Wow wow wow. This is an amazing hidden gem. Started with cafe and our group then ordered everything on the menu. I’ve had a lot of authentic breakfast in my travels and this is for sure in my top 3. Love it. I’ll attach photos and video to let you get a feel of the location. Very cute market, one of the oldest in the area, usually you have a wait, but the staff can serve coffee while you wait.

Alfonso makes a great breakfast and lunch. I have been coming hear for years. I got my first taste of menudo here after landing in Guadalajara. The place can get crowded but the service is fast and a place at the bar usually opens up fast. The grilled meats are also really good. They have some staples like carne asada and lamb, as well as a couple of exotics like ostrich. There are few places in the Guadalajara where you can eat so well for such a great price. When I was going to school the breakfasts were 35 pesos. And you can't beat the tortillas. Seriously the best!

One can get overwhelmed in this market but if you shop there regularly like I did, you know that you can find everything in this market. I buy veggie and fruits on Calle 9 and some speciality items on Calle 4. We also like to eat at Fonda de pollo when we are there.

One of the jewels of Guadalajara this place is a must see. There is a small (2 or 3 blocks) of retail and food stalls, but the wholesale area feels like it goes on forever. This is where you get to see what is in season around Western Mexico as well as some of the best examples of local culinary traditions. Mercado de Abastos is where all of the other little community markets come to buy their product. I highly recommend trying Birrieria Aceves, Menuderia Chela and Carne Asadas Alfonso. Then get a coffee with the Korean lady that makes the cookies.

Fabulous restaurant with a mixed setting (indoor/outdoor). A couple of waterfalls surround the seating that gives off a natural & exotic feel. The only drawback with the atmosphere are the mosquitos, but staff are consistently spraying repellent. The food and drinks are very delicious. Overall the experience is great. It had been years since my last visit to Menudencia La Familia, and I was pleasantly surprised by the renovation, the place looks great and feels much more spacious now. As for the food, it never disappoints. They serve one of the best menudos in Guadalajara, rich, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. And if you’re a fan of fried quesadillas, their Coyoacán-style quesadillas are the best in the city, crispy, generous, and absolutely delicious. Pro tip: Order the small menudo and two fried chicharrón quesadillas, perfect combo to start your day right.

Great traditional Mexican breakfast place.They serve different breakfadt options such as scramble eggs ( diferent choices), hot cakes,etc.. to the main dish which is "Menudo". It consists on a soup made with the 4 stomachs of the cows ( properly cleaned before cooking) with some other meats, and herbs/spices. This dish is mostly consumed in the morning ( highly recomended for people with hangover), and eaten with hand made tortillas and using hot spicy chili. Highly recomended for daring people. Please be aware currently the street is under repairs but the restaurant is still open.

Like we didn’t exist! My husband and I were in GDL for a few days and I wanted to try this spot(El Rey). I was so excited to eat here but to our surprise we walked on Monday 1/16/23 @ about 1045am and we were asked to seat anywhere. We kept on waiting, waiting and waiting. We at least wanted some water or someone to acknowledge us, 10-15 minutes had gone by and nothing. There was plenty of people working but we were just been ignored. At the point my husband decided to get up and go somewhere else. The staff looked at us and not even try to find out why we were leaving. I don’t want to think they discriminated us because of who we are but it definitely felt it. I guess it work out because the place across the street (Yolk & White) was absolutely amazing from the point we walk in the greeting was genuinely warm, service and food a 10.

Very good experience here. When I arrived they welcomed me with a big smile on their face and some sort of little sweet cake ! They speak English and the waiter is really listening to your needs, he suggest you plates and they have a new menu! They keep you posted on your menu's preparation and the food is also great and fresh. They also have a space with a playground for your kids to play and leave you alone and a great playlist 😉 One of the best places I visited here in Guadalajara, I highly recommend!

This is a nice looking place. It has a terrace/patio area and is very pleasant. The service was ok but it took some time to get our food. The food was not good. Our food arrived cold. Not room temperature but actually cold. It was as if they kept the salsas in the refrigerator and poured it cold all over our enchiladas. When we let them know they did go throw the plates in the microwave for us. In addition to the cold food it also lacked flavor. I will go back again just in case this was just an off day.

Such a cute and trendy cafe offering both walk-up and sit-down service, but it was ultimately disappointing when it came to wait times and drinks. On a quiet Sunday morning, there was already a bit of a queue when I arrived, and I ended up waiting about 15 minutes before being seated at the top of some stairs. Once seated, I received a physical menu, and immediately, the London Fog Latte caught my eye, especially since not many cafes in Mexico offer this drink. I ordered the London Fog Latte hot, with lactose-free milk, alongside a cinnamon roll topped with some kind of citrus glaze from what I understood. It took another 15 minutes to receive my tea and pastry, which felt like quite a long wait. Unfortunately, the London Fog turned out to be disappointing—it didn’t have even a hint of Earl Grey flavor and tasted like a completely different beverage (3/10). The cinnamon roll was significantly better: the citrus glaze was spot on. Unexpectedly, it also had chocolate inside, which actually paired nicely, though I would have preferred the traditional cinnamon-sugar filling instead (8/10). Afterwards, it took another while to flag someone down to pay. In the meantime, At the time of visit (in February 2025), I decided to find the WC. Staff told me to walk through the house toward the outside back patio, where I only found toilets but no proper place to wash my hands, which felt strange. I eventually managed to locate a WC upstairs, but it was messy and seemed more suited for staff use rather than customers. When I asked about a sink, the staff suggested I wash my hands in the cafe’s kitchen, which felt unsanitary and a bit uncomfortable. As for the food, it's good but fairly simple, nothing particularly memorable. Considering the prices, I was expecting something extra to justify the cost. Parking is another downside — it’s not easy to find a spot in the area. The staff is polite, but the service doesn’t really stand out.

What a gem! We loved this place. This restaurant is a family business, located in zona americana. It is great for breakfast or lunch. We went for a very late lunch and there were not many people in the restaurant. We ordered some juices, desserts and for the main peneques (fried tortilla with cheese, dipped in tomato sauce), enchiladas verdes con pollo, emolodas mixtas (with chicken and cheese, dipped in mole sauce), and enrijoladas mixtas (dipped in frijoles sauce). I had a great experience at Tenango. I loved the art exhibit from Mezcala. All three coffees that I drank were really good. I started with an espresso, followed with a flat white, and took a V60 to go. The barista is a subject matter expert who will talk about coffee from all over Mexico but he knows a lot about Chiapas. The waiters to almost too fast, speed walking to their tables. I ordered a lemonade with mineral water, their glasses are tall and then, I drank it up on a few sips. The chile relleno was not great, however the mole poblano, beans, rice, salsas, tortillas, and arracherra were delicious!

We stopped in for breakfast, it's nothing to go out of your way for, but if you're staying in Andares or nearby it's an option to consider. We had machaca and chilaquiles (see photos), the plates are definitely plentiful and leaves room to take something home. The service is hit or miss, depending where you're sitting and who's attending to you. Often, it's easier to flag down whoever is nearby if you need something.

The restaurant is very aesthetic but the food is underwhelming. We ordered rigatoni with shrimp, octopus with adobo, fried beef, and scallops. All of them were mediocre. The scallops, in particular, were highly recommended by one of the staff. They were not fresh or tender, and had the taste of old frozen seafood. My wife and I ate one piece each and had our server take it back. The octopus was overcooked and tough. It was inedible, so did not finish it. By the end, we left most of the food on the table. The server and person who provided recommendations (possibly shift supervisor or manager), recognized we hardly touched multiple dishes but did nothing to fix the issue. We spent almost $150 USD for meal that was not satisfactory. We won’t be going back.

With that name, we were expecting a large oblong bread, but it was served on a small square bread. The arugula for the salad was filled with holes. The hostess offered to change the salad and gave us some muffins on the house in compensation, but I doubt we would return. It seems that most eateries in this area pay high rent and to compensate they skimp on the portions.

Disappointing and expensive. Literally got all of our orders wrong, granted there was a bit of a language barrier. However, they repeated our order back to us and it was correct. Don’t think it was the serves fault as much as it was the kitchen’s. Gave a meat omelette to a vegetarian of 40+ years which was pretty upsetting to them. Not to mention their portion sizes were quite small and really did not resemble the images on the menu. Other than that, the staff was friendly and welcoming, just very disappointed with the attention to detail as well as the cost of the meal. So incredibly expensive, really really not worth it, there are so many other better places and wish someone would have warned us.

Not an issue if you are a left handed drinker but unfortunately I drink with my right hand. The chip part was on the lip side but easy to drink. The price was a bit high for what I ordered. Many waffle options! I tried the Exótico and it was delicious. The fruits were fresh and the waffle perfectly made. I also tried the Chocolate chip hot cake and although it was good, it was all a little too sweet for my liking. Come early because there's a line after 9-10am, specially on the weekends. I recommend it!

Really AWFUL experience here. I ordered the biscuits with sausage, gravy and eggs and the SAUSAGE was HARD and STALE. I could barely cut into it with a knife. Finally a manager said she would replace just the sausage. Lol. Instead of the entire entree. I went home and had the worst food sickness of my life. Still have diarrhea. Here’s a picture so you can compare the stale meat(I bit into) and the fresh meat.

A great place to relax on a hot afternoon. A good variety of beverages ranging from coffees to smoothies complements tasty breads they offer. They have pizzas for those who feel like having comfort food, but they offer a diverse menu including sandwiches, salads, burgers, fish filets - and even a kids menu. The place is roomy with lots of natural light. Very quiet early to late afternoons. Service was superb - outstanding is an understatement. The waiter on duty’s name is Israel and he just did a great job welcoming me and serving me with a super friendly attitude. He showed great dedication and professionalism. Bravo!

We had a really amazing breakfast here. The staff was very nice and prompt. The fresh baked bread was a real treat. Everything was priced very reasonable. The orange juice was fresh, the coffee was bold and hot. We enjoyed the crossaint even though we got the plain next time we may go for the Nutella flavored.. The eggs benedict was prepared just right. We even ordered the fruit plate which had a nice variety. There was a kid selling bags of fruits and we paid him 40 peso total for a bag of mango and a bag of avacado.

Waiting staff is offensive, rude and careless. We had an incident over a glass of water because the waiter wouldn't bring it despite the fact I told him I had to take a pill. He even said that he wouldn't bring it because I was demanding it. After 45 min wait the manager brought it justifying this waiter "because I was rude to him". Sincerely, we had to put up with all their traumas and social complexes of their waiting staff. If you like to be MISTREATED this is your place. The food is OK, nothing impressive or out of the ordinary, there are definitely better places. Cheap breakfast comes with cheap customer service.

It’s a very good place but I don’t like to wait so loooong for my food. I know is a place to have a chat but again , the wait is tooo long and you need to keep asking for the waitress for your food. Coffe is good though.

This place offers virtually the only serious bread I've found in town. Several great whole grain types with that pleasing texture the French are so good at. Great quiche and sweets too. Pretty good for sit down dining, but almost always full.

More than a coffee shop! The molletes are the best and the concha with nata is amazing! You can either have breakfast, lunch or dinner, and they have lunch menus as well, they have park view with an open area (also comes with mosquitoes).

I’ve been here two times before, and its been nice. But this time, we had to wait very long for the server to come take our order, even though the place wasn’t that busy. They also forgot to serve my fiancees coffee. We were served the customary salsa and tomato/onion mix, but were denied the standard bread that would come with it (that I received both of the other times I came). We asked about it and were told it was only served during certain hours (but I’ve been there the same time for the other times as well). When we paid, we said that this time, we would not leave a tip as we did the last times, as we felt we weren’t serviced adequetly. The server got very annoyed with us, and went to her coworker to publically voice her annoyance. So, all in all, a very bad experience, we felt unwelcomed.

Good value, nice garden, do a good pizza, cheap 2 for 1 cocktails. Not the best but good for the money and area. Friendly service.

Very good place for breakfast. There is a wide selection of delicious foods for a very decent price. It's also okay for lunch or supper: the selection is good but not groundbreaking. Staff is very attentive and service is usually fast. It attracts a casual family crowd and there is a nice view of the park across the avenue; dogs lovers can often enjoy the spectacle of dogs playing there!

Beautiful restaurant, very relaxed. Staff are tentative. I ordered the eggs Benedict with hash brown. Eggs were cooked perfectly. The sauce was tasteless. Asked for the sauce on the side. But that’s not what they do. There was no ham or meat at all. Hash brown needs lots of work, not cooked through, again tasteless. The coffee was very weak basically just got a glass of milk. Asked for a second coffee and strong. It was very good.

A very attractive great food and European like atmosphere restaurant

We recently visited OUI Restaurant for second time. I ordered chilaquiles and my husband ordered meat in chili sauce with eggs. Service is prompt, great authentic Mexican food, prices extremely reasonable and friendly professional staff.

I know this place since they were a small restaurant close to one local market, now they've became a big chain, good for them, but i can see a big big increase of the prices, for a simple waffle, now they're 8 USD average + 3 USD drink, this place was mind to be cheap and affordable for all, now it's has become a fancy place for rich, is sad to see that more a more restaurants are talking this way. Place is confortable and have even a kindergarten (for 2 USD) and a valet parking (another 2 USD). Portions are small, so most of the adults won't finish satisfied however the flavor is good and the presentation is good also. I hope they can adapt their prices an being as they were before. A regular everyday restaurant

A nice location and ambiance, good outdoor seating in front and rear of restaurant. Service is good and attentive. I had the omelette and hash browns, they were not bad but nothing to write home about. Next time I’ll try the waffles as that seems to be their specialty

If you’re passing by, you need to stop. I have family there but every time I go, I eat there. Their tortillas are hand made and they have a lot of different fillings. Delicious and what a true burrito should be!

Maison Paulette is an excellent spot! We were treated very well, and the drinks were absolutely delicious. The place itself couldn’t be better, charming, cozy, and with a great atmosphere. Hate to have to give 2 stars because this is a beautiful, delicious restaurant. We arrived at 1:38pm and were handed breakfast/brunch menus. I explained I would wait till 2 to place my crepe caprese order (since they do not offer the lunch menu until then). My husband and a visiting guest ordered from the breakfast menu. While dining, I observed that we never had one waiter attending us but multiple, which was confusing and gave not one waiter any responsibility. I witnessed other tables having to shout across the patio to receive any attention. We asked for plates and trash to be removed 3 times during our meal, never an initiative from the multiple waiters. Once 2 pm came, we double checked that the crepe order was put in. Any question from our table was answered very passively. 2:18pm arrived I watched the entire staff in the restaurant walking around with nothing to do and working very slowly without care to attend to their tables. After asking a second time about the crepe, it came to the table at 2:25pm. The Caprese crepe is with cheese and cherry tomatoes on top. Never experienced a long wait at any of the other locations for the simple crepe.. I would not recommend this restaurant location simply because of the staff.

A cute breakfast chain. I enjoyed the Huevos Campiranos (scrambled eggs with sweet peppers, light on salt, which is always hard to find at restaurants). I also got this nice guava pastry with my coffee. I recommend it if you're in the area and just want simple and afforable French breakfast foods.
