French restaurant
Boulangerie Central is a charming French-style bakery and coffee shop that has evolved into a full-fledged restaurant. The menu features an array of breakfast options, including sweet dishes made with freshly baked bread and pastries, such as chocolate French toast topped with berries and house-made ice cream.
Boulangerie Central is a spot highly recommended for its culinary offerings, and it certainly didn’t disappoint. Situated conveniently, this bakery exudes a warm, inviting vibe, even as you join a queue—yes, there was a small wait due to its popularity, with about five tables ahead, but it was well worth it. The food here is a true highlight, particularly the walnut bread, which was an unreal treat, easily the best I’ve ever had. Its rich flavors and perfect texture made it an instant favorite. While the service was generally efficient, there could be improvements, particularly in speeding up service and addressing the presence of flies, which detracted slightly from the experience. Despite these minor issues, I’d still highly recommend Boulangerie Central. The quality of the dishes, especially the bakery items, is outstanding. It’s a place that anyone with a love for great baked goods and delightful meals should definitely check out when in the area. Their commitment to quality and the unmistakable charm of their offerings make it a standout destination.

Cute place and good food! The French toast was especially delicious. Had a lemon pastry as well and that was very good. Reasonable prices!

Unfortunately I found this place on our last day. I would have eaten here everyday to make my way through the menu. This restaurant literally changed the way I feel about breakfast. From start to finish it was perfect. Its been 5 days and I am still talking it. Food is fresh served hot within minutes after ordering. The cost.....who cared. It's a really hiden gem. I am going back for sure. Loved, loved and loved this place.
Kelly M — Google review
What a lovely place! Just a block away from where we were staying too! Great latte! The wait staff were super friendly and attentive, not overbearing. I had the croque madame, and hubby had the eggs Benedict. Both were delicious! The tomatoe dude salad was great too! Very flavorful tomatoes. Brought home some croissants but have yet to eat them but can't wait!
Ernesto N — Google review
Good service overall and the food presentation and quality is very good. We went back twice during our stay. The lattes were excellent! I enjoyed the Huevos Mornay and Claras.
Belinda C — Google review
I went here for breakfast and immediately ordered a latte. After a long wait we asked and they brought out our drinks. They were already cold. They offered to fix it and brought back the same drink reheated. We complained that they did not look right. They take the drinks back and try to make them look better like they were remade. After a few minutes you can see in the photo that the milk has been steamed, cooled and reheated by the large bubbles. Avoid the uncomfortable chairs and bad service. Overpriced and low quality!
Peter M — Google review
Wow!!! The food is amazing and fresh. We had the omelette a su gusto and Los huevos divorciados they were phenomenal! We recently went to Mexico City and it’s been hard to find a good chocolate croissant after experiencing Rosetta Panadería but this place is very close to perfecting it!!! Amazing, we also had a great cup of coffee and green juice. The atmosphere is peaceful they have music at a decent volume in which you can enjoy your company.

Café palReal is a laid-back restaurant located in the trendy Colonia Americana neighborhood of Guadalajara. It offers classic daytime dishes and cocktails, with outdoor seating surrounded by hip cement tile work and lush greenery. The cozy coffee bar area provides a perfect spot to enjoy sweet farm cheese on biscuits and perfect cappuccinos while chatting with the friendly baristas.
Great interiors and delicious brunch. It was blue corn tortillas paired with the chorizo platter. Beautiful yard in the back. We were curious about a chili ingredient and because of limited Spanish, we were googling back and forth on translation. The waiter is so kind and brought back phone to Google up the picture of the chili pepper to show us. So warm and patient!
YD — Google review
Food was decent, the service was OK, the atmosphere is very nice. I ordered a Lonche de pancita (pork belly sandwich) and got a sandwich that, in my opinion, was pork leg. I didn't want to wait to wait to discuss and maybe get a replacement sandwich, so I just went ahead and ate it. It was OK, but with the Pajarito (bottled) salsa added, the flavor improved. Their cappuccino is very delicious. The atmosphere is nice. I sat at the bar, the service was mixed, with some servers being very attentive, while my server was just OK at best. I will come back to try other items in the menu, and will seat in their patio next time.
F M — Google review
Delicious and absolutely would go back! The iced latte was great, and they made a flat white cold for my friend as well. The waiters were very helpful and suggested good plates based on my allergies. I got 2 different vegetarian tacos, which came on blue corn tortillas, and they were SO tasty. Very different flavors between the two - which was wonderful. Their hot sauce was worth a try as well, such a nice kick! This adorable cafe has multiple levels and spaces to sit, so you could have a favorite spot or a different one each time. The atmosphere is lovely at lunch time - very chill and open.
Lo W — Google review
Pal Real is one of my favorite places in Guadalajara, Mexico! Conveniently located in Arcos Vallarta, all the food is freshly made, and the cocktails are truly craft! These pics are just a few of my favorite things, because everything is delicious. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the music and general atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. You will not regret making Pal Real a spot to visit when you’re in Guadalajara!
Holly A — Google review
My visit to Cafe Palreal in Guadalajara left much to be desired. The food, unfortunately, fell below my expectations, with offerings that were decidedly below average in taste and presentation. It seemed like a missed opportunity for a culinary delight. The service, while not notably poor, failed to leave any lasting positive impressions. It was a functional experience, but nothing about it stood out as particularly special or attentive. The lack of exceptional service added to the overall mediocrity of the visit. In conclusion, Cafe Palreal might be an option if you're in need of a quick bite, but for those seeking a memorable culinary or service experience, there are likely better choices in the area. The cafe has room for improvement to truly stand out in the competitive food scene of Guadalajara.
Gabe K — Google review
Poor customer service they only had 4 tables , a lot of staff. It took them 15min to notice we were waiting to place our order. Drink we're late. Waitress awful service and they guy with glasses and tattoos was in another world in his mind. Definitely this place is not worded for me. I believe the torts ahogadas right in front gives you a better service than this piece of crappie place.
Rh L — Google review
Excellent place for coffee and breakfast. I love their versions of classic breakfasts, and the fact that they don't give you huge portions. I had two breakfasts there with coffee, perfect way to start the day.
Joe M — Google review
The best coffee shop i’ve tried in Guadalajara. Great food and good coffee bean variety. The filtered drinks were really nice on the mouth. The milk based drinks were a little taim on the flavor, not enough punch on the taste but good and enjoyable. I’ll go back for sure.

La Tetería, which translates to teapot, is a charming café that caters to both coffee and tea enthusiasts. The cozy space offers a minimalist decor with comfortable seating indoors and rustic wooden furniture in the patio area. The menu features an array of frappe options, including chai and mint chocolate flavors. It's an ideal spot to relax alone or with friends while sipping on your favorite cup of tea. Additionally, they offer tasty sandwiches, cakes, and even vegan choices.
Gorgeous place with a wonderful setting, quiet and polite environment. With both traditional Mexican tea/ dessert and classics like rooibos and matcha. All the employees were very kind and there were so many nice places to sit and enjoy a tea and dessert while being encompassed by nature and a simply relaxing environment.
Tahira H — Google review
When the city has elegant tea shops like this it's a credit to that city. They offer fine grades of tea as well as pour over coffee choices and some grape food. The seating is comfortable and The Wi-Fi was about 250 / 250. Since it has been raining there was quite a few mosquitoes so bring your spray or wear long pants.

Amazing cosy space to relax, unwind and concentrate. Ideal to spend some time alone or with friends, accompanied with a zip of your preferred cup Of tea. Walking through the establishment towards the back terrace is the way to go, in general; great value for money and a must for those looking to discover new hidden spots in a loud and hectic metropolis.

They say they are open 8am to 11pm, but no mention of not serving the full menu between 1pm and 3pm. We arrived at 2pm, so I was rather disappointed that I could only order fruit and a few other basic things. I would suggest making it clear on your Facebook page or somewhere similar. Restaurant itself was small and cosy with outdoor seating facing the road. At the time we went, it wasn't busy at all and I enjoyed the summer garden atmosphere.

The only thing I like is their version of the torta ahogada teteria style.. I forgot the name .. but don't ever drink an American coffee cause it taste like water and no refill... And tiny mug.. for like a baby ... The place is well located.. love the ambiance... The staff is friendly and nice.... But they must be artist cause they forget things all the time... I love the decor inside. Worth visiting... If they had better coffee and put more attention I'd be there alot.

Café Chai Vallarta is a great spot to relax with friends while enjoying a bottle of wine or coffee. The menu offers a variety of pastries, cakes, and savory treats. The avocado sandwich may have been light on avocado, but the ciabatta bread was delightful. Housed in a former mansion, the café has different rooms that could be used for special events, although only the foyer and main lobby were accessible during the visit.
Really good place to eat, the breakfast is really good and the service is excellent, we were served by Asael Leyva. He was really nice and friendly to us.

Heads up foreigners, there is a 7% hidden charge when using your US credit card. The staff says they can't change it, but it's some crap. Check your receipts
Charles G — Google review
The cafe late' was ok, the french toast was disgusting. It was served in just a few minutes so was either premade or was delivered frozen but it wasn't cooked to order and was cold. We were afraid the eggs were still raw and didn't eat it. We told the employees but they didn't seem to care.
J D — Google review
Cool place to hang around with friends over a bottle of red or coffee. They had pastries and cakes but we opted for savory treats. The avocado sandwich was lacking in avocado but the ciabatta bread was delish. A former mansion with different rooms probably for special events however only the foyer and the main lobby were open. Interesting interior but could be better

Jardín Cafeto La Americana is a modern and spacious café with multiple locations across Guadalajara, offering a variety of standard Mexican dishes. The semi-covered patio area provides an attractive setting to enjoy brunch. Situated in an older renovated home, the restaurant offers a tranquil ambiance for breakfast and chats over chilaquiles. The menu includes the unique chilaquiles trivorciados, featuring three different salsas.
Great restaurant that is inside an old, beautiful house... They remodeled inside and out, and it's gorgeous! I ordered the chicken cordon blue, that came with a salad, it was crispy and great tasting! I also ordered a cafe de olla, which was amazing, and the tres leches cake... All delicious! Loved the ambiance and the service was impeccable... Will return to try more of their menu items. I highly recommend this restaurant! 👍👍
MUNDO A — Google review
LOOKING for a relaxing spot to grab breakfast? Look no further than Jardín Cafeto. Located in an older, renovated home, a tranquil ambience makes the perfect setting to chat over chilaquiles. I tried the chilaquiles trivorciados (which literally means a three-way divorce). It is called that because they throw in a sample of all three salsas: red, green, and the in-house variety, which is the spiciest of all. I would say the food was good, but not great. The service was OK, just because the waitress seemed to be on the slow side. But the atmosphere was quite relaxing.
Jamie P — Google review
Great location to wait for a friend who was renewing her visa. Friendly staff, food was tasty, and the location was comfortable. I sat outside to enjoy a beautiful day. Unfortunately, the flies ruined my breakfast. Jardin Cafeto also played the worst music I've heard in a long time - elevator music. All English music but remade. I will try this place again, but I will sit inside without the flies and hopefully without the music.
Kelly L — Google review
This is the most awful place I have been, if I could give it a BIG FAT O , I WOULD, The servers were young ,too busy chatting with each other than actually serving their customers, it was not busy at all, waited 20 mins for a waitress to attend but to no avail, walked out. To the proprietors , please get someone who is actually wanting a job and want to work.
Joseph P — Google review
Pretty place but my cesar salad was very disappointing. It had a smug of mayo dijon dressing and was given oil and vinegar to dress my salad. Dry chicken pieces. Not a cesar salad by my standards. Waste of money.
Jody G — Google review
Just had breakfast the other day with my family at Jardin Cafeto and the service was BAD to say the least. Beto, our waiter took 30 minutes to take our order and took for ever to refill for coffee. Food was good though but won't be coming back in my life and don't recommend coming back here at all.

The ambiance is further enhanced by live mariachi performances that create an unforgettable dining experience.
The food was delightful. Had one of the best stuffed peppers. Also the drinks are to die for. I had a lychee margarita I really enjoyed. The waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu with great recommendations. Ended the meal with a carajio and a very yummy coffee and mango puff pastry desert. With definitely come back. So many places around for buffet and it’s good to pick the better one to make your trip worth it. This place has a better option than most because the stations are spread apart. You have a taco station on one side and then the omelette/chilaquiles station on the other. Then you can go inside the room where it has the desserts and hot foods lined up for what you appetites craves. The only thing this room needs is a circulating fan that can help the many flies from touching the food. It’s very unsanitary and a shame to spoil really decent looking food! Or another option is placing sticky fly traps or those Electric machines to zap away all the annoying flies around the tables and food areas.

We came in this restaurant while we were not even hungry. We were greeted by the bartender, Paloma, very sweet and helpful to understand the options for our drink. We ordered the adelita rosa per her suggestion and it was so delicious that we ordered more. And then she introduced our server , Santiago, who was fast and helpful. He suggested the special plate, Chile en Nogada, and explained the story and history behind it. It was fascinating enough that we orders one to try. To Our surprise , we finished the food and thanked him for suggesting this fodd to us. This chile en Nogada is the one dish that exceeded our expectations in every aspect. We will be back because we had so much fun making these memories. The experience exceeded our expectations.

I give a 3 star rating because the food was good, there is lots of room for improvement as far as the service goes. Servers were just focused on taking food to the tables, I had to wave down people to get more coffee and bread. If you don't have children, I recommend to avoid the weekends, it gets pretty chaotic with a bunch of entitled kids running around.

We had a wonderful brunch here. The sandwiches were so incredible that they will never be forgotten. The marzipan coffee was delicious also! The place gets busy and we were lucky to not have to wait for a table at 10am but there was a line up outside when we left.

Nice, clean, decent food, good coffee, decent service. I ordered the Terrible Bacon and Cheese sandwich which was OK. I also ordered two macchiattos whose flavor, body, foam were perfect but the drink was warm (not hot). I may comeback to try other food items, but will make sure to ask that my cortado coffee be hot.

Saw many recommendations for this place so had to try it but it was disappointing to me because most of their dishes had gores of cheese. Still had to atleast try their bacon laced cheese dish. It was way too "cheesy" but enjoyed eating the bacon however my daughter who likes cheese thought it tasted good especially since it was drenched in syrup. The saltiness from and bacon and cheese was balanced with the syrup. One and done for me.

Nice little cafe with good food. You can sit outside to have a wonderful breakfast. The waitress was very nice.

Great place for breakfast when visiting Guadalajara. As a Mexican I think is a bit too mild to my taste, but still liked it a lot.
Mario P — Google review
I did ask for chilaquiles with extra beef. What a deception! The chilaquiles salsa was too basic and the extra meat portion is ridiculously tiny. Definitely not a balanced dish.
A V — Google review
Great place for breakfast. I had their panela in salsa roja with café de olla which was wonderful. My sister really enjoyed their enchiladas rojas de queso. She said they were simply delicious. We will surely come back next time we’re in the city.

In all honesty it was our second choice for breakfast but I can’t tell you why. Cafe Paloma was friendly and good. A nice neighborhood place that seems to be one big balcony. Price is decent and selection is quite traditional. My native friends agreed it serves authentic Mexican cuisine. I likely would have given more stars but the table, floors and bathroom needed more attention— far too sticky and dirty to have remained that way for the time I was there.

If you're looking for a delightful brunch spot, Ohlala Panadería Bistró comes highly recommended. Their Monsieur Baguette is absolutely amazing, especially if you don't mind a bit of spiciness by adding some "chiles toreados" to it. Don't forget to try their bakery's cranberry bisquet as well. The service at this particular location may have been lacking on one day, but overall, the experience is excellent and definitely worth trying.
This small bakery and restaurant is splendid. They have a variety of fresh made breads and sweet breads, almost all made out of fine puff pastry. You can seat down and have a nice breakfast or lunch, together with their breads. But you can also take to go some delicious bread with a freshly brewed coffee or hot chocolate.
Fabiola G — Google review
It's a nice small bistro has a good selection of food and fresh bread. Coffee is good also. The only negative is the parking it'd extremely limited.
Andres C — Google review
Lovely bistro with a extensive dine in menu as well as a take-out bakery. I had the chilaquiles and was very impressed. They bring you a bread basked with a assortment, chocolate croissants, all baked to perfection. Their coffee beverages were great as well. There is normally a wait (worth it), and they do not take reservations.

Ohlala Guadalajara is one of my favorite go to places for bread and breakfast! I absolutely love the Ohlala Tuna Eggs Benedict. So if you are a seafood lover it's a must try! They have an amazing bakery packed with croissants and amazing dessert! Staff was friendly and attentive. Facilities are clean. Service was fairly fast. During the morning hours they can be extremely busy starting at about 8AM to 12PM.

If you want to get a nice brunch, i recommended fully, the monsieur baguette is out of world, if you are ok eating spicy, add some "chiles toreados" to it. From the bakery, the cranberry bisquet is my recommendation

Chop Cup Coffee is a great place to enjoy a latte or some pastries. The staff is knowledgeable and patient, making it perfect for socializing and working on projects; the kids are usually well-behaved here. The menu ranges from delicious pan cakes to satisfying omelets, so everyone will find something they love.
This is a great place to go especially solo. The staff are so friendly, caring and professional. The food is nicely served and delicious. Will return. The photos are of breakfast and lunch. Muchas gracias a todos!

I came here with the multilingual conversation club and it was an excellent experience! We were a big group but we had a reservation and the servers accommodated us by putting tables together and it was impressive that they remembered all our names and whose dishes were whose! I had the funky chicken sandwich, it was delicious. 10/10 recommend.

The food was ok, looked just as what we expected. Staff were nice too and all plates were served fast, but the problem was the way they deal with tip jajaja... We were told that we cannot pay tip by an individual plate and should pay in percentage of total, so we changed our mind not to pay. However, we were charged 10% for the tip and asked them back to cancel it. Yet the staff told me that it takes 3 days to receive the amount and I said still its ok. Then she suddenly changed her attitude saying its impossible to cancel and kept talked about bank... I mean why does BANK matters when we just want refund of wrong charges?! It DOESNT MAKE SENSE at all😂😂 The most unsensible moment in GDL jajajajajaja

They brought me the wrong drink and then blamed me for it and didnt want to exchange it because I took a sip (that is how I found out it was the wrong drink.) They finally swapped it and lectured me on the difference between the drinks. I know the difference, its why I ordered the one I ordered. It finally arrived and it was the worst chai latte I've ever had. Not sure if that was intentional but I wouldn't be suprised. Other than that, the atmosphere is very nice. Its just a shame and unprofessional how they choose to handle situations like that.

Café Madoka is a 60-year-old restaurant located just a few blocks from the Historic Center of Guadalajara. It offers a unique atmosphere that transports you back in time, with old Mexican men playing dominoes and a charming view of the street. The café provides an alternative to trendy spots, offering good coffee and traditional dishes like chilaquiles and eggs.
This cafe has an atmosphere that brings you back in time. There are older men playing dominoes in the back, a good view to the street in front, and just a feeling of being somewhere far more interesting than a Starbucks or trendy cafe. And the coffee is very good.

Sadly the sopa azteca was not served with cheese and the tomato base was very plain. Essentially we were served plain tomato soup with tortilla chips. Very disappointing. The orange juice was also very sour. Wouldn’t return.

Neretta Café & Gelato is a trendy coffee house and café located in the charming Colonia Americana. This micro-roaster and cafe offers a variety of expertly crafted coffees, including espressos and flat whites, prepared at their brew bar. The cozy space features exposed-brick walls, a wooden coffee bar, and outdoor seating. In addition to their exceptional coffee selection, Neretta also specializes in artisan gelato.
Great cafe in colonia Americana. Excellent food, the 3 cheese sandwich with the tomato soup combo was amazing. Very cozy outdoor siting area. Went back a second time for the sopa de jitomate and a matchahato (matcha affagato). One word: delicious !!! Breakfast is also excellent, highly recommend the Pan Frances

This new coffee shop in the neighborhood was recommended by a barista, so I decided to check it out. I tried two different kinds of coffee. While the medium roast for the pour-over wasn’t my favorite, it was still pretty good overall. One thing I appreciated is that they have an English menu, which explains each food item really well. Their food options are more extensive than most coffee shops, and the quality is definitely above average. I ordered the French Toast Reload, and it didn’t disappoint! It comes with gelato and their house-made jam, which made it a unique and delicious treat. Overall, I wouldn’t highly recommend it, but it’s definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area and looking for good coffee and food.

A must visit spot in Guadalajara. Love this place.

Such a wonderful breakfast spot with a relaxing atmosphere ✨ We went to the back in the garden for a nice chill breakfast. Loved all the seating choices - indoors or out. I didn’t see gluten free bread on the menu but I also didn’t ask. I got a frittata to avoid gluten (I’m allergic) and it was delicious! If I go back I’d ask about the bread because they have some lovely looking toast orders as well. They were able to make my cappuccino on ice and that was perfect on a warm Tuesday morning! Would definitely return to this sweet spot.
Lo W — Google review
I stopped by around 2PM on a Saturday. There were plenty of seats to choose from. In the 90-degree weather, I chose to sit outside by the plants to feel the lovely breeze during my meal. I chose the vegetarian lasagna, capri salad, and a glass of red from Ensenada. If you can't tell by the vivid colors in the pictures, the ingredients were fresh and in season as each bite was a delight. The salad and the lasanga were the perfect tart and sweet combo. The wine was served chilled and I let it come up to room temperature and aerate so I could truly taste the wine. It paired well with the lasanga and it was tasty enough to warrant another glass. Shout-out to Nicole who was my server throughout the meal and attentive throughout my time at Neretta. I recommend stopping by if you're in the area. I'd definitely consider going again as what originally drew me to this place was the coffee which I choose not to partake in this particular trip.

Cute little brunch spot! It gets a little packed on the weekends. They have great brekkie options with eggs and brioche. We had the canadiana and santos- both were good, especially with their hot sauce! They also specialize in ice cream. We had strawberry, chocolate and ginger. Nestled in the heart of Zapopan, "Menudería y Cenaduría El Toro de Don Bequeza" is a charming eatery that has quickly become a favorite among locals and visitors alike. This is by far the best menudo I've ever had. It's also the first time I tried Menudo de lengua, and what a treat. They come to your table with the meat already in a bowl. It's a generous serving. Then they pour the menudo broth in. The lengua was tender and seasoned perfectly. The broth was so tasty and hearty. We also got fresh tortillas that were definitely hand-made. All of the normal fixings were available and they were all very fresh. The atmosphere was really great. Everyone in the restaurant was really happy. I can see why the patrons were happy, it's because the food was so good. The employees were also very happy and attentive. The service was top-notch. The building is really very large and it was completely full, which is a testament to how good the food was. The decor was very nice and the restaurant was extremely clean. I can't wait to go back to Jalisco so I can visit this place again. I've already recommended it to several people who were grateful after they got the chance to try it too.

I'm not a fan of menudo but I decided to give this place a try and it met my expectations in a good way, I went for a menudo of tongue with 'pancita' and wasn't smelly nor gave me a bad aftertaste. For people that loves this dish this is place is a must to visit, the service is great, we didn't have to wait a lot (around 10 minutes) to get a table, even though we went on a busy Sunday. Prices and serving sizes are great (not cheap but also not pricey for what you get), there are also other options like chilaquiles, molletes (sweet or salty), beef tongue in sauce, juices, coffee, hot chocolate and shakes. 👌🏻

Wow they have some great food here at a fantastic price. And the service is great as well. Just beware of the Wi-Fi may not work and so they may have a hard time processing your credit card. Yunaites • Menjurjes Pueblerinos is a recent addition to the breakfast and brunch scene in Guadalajara, created by renowned local chef Fabian Delgado. The restaurant offers a traditional fonda style dining experience within a market setting, complete with an open kitchen where guests can watch skilled cooks prepare handmade blue corn tortillas and fresh salsas.
This place is located in a Mercado. You sit on a long communal table. No reservations accepted. That said the food is amazing. The plates are small and great for sharing. I recommend to start at the top of the menu order 3 items share with one other person. Then go back and try the next three items till you try the whole menu.

Cool little place inside of a small market. There is nice and lively atmosphere with lots of locals and the restaurant’s open kitchen. :-) We got to the restaurant at 11 am on Sunday and waited for 15 minutes or so after listing our name. The food is fresh, sophisticated, and reasonably priced. Each plate was small, however, it was all satisfying because of its presentation. We will come back for more soon!

Wow! What a gem! I will tell everyone that comes to GDL to try this delicious restaurant. From the cafe de olla being incredible as is, to the food, to the atmosphere - this place is a must. I’m so glad I had a friend take me here!! The coffee was delightful, hints of chocolate and cinnamon as I was sipping 😍 I didn’t expect it and was so grateful. They also had a selection of regular or carbonated kombucha that I tried. The two meals we shared - quesadilla and encotijada - blew me away. I wish I could have ordered them both again. And my friend has tried most things on the menu and says they’re all just as good. Allergy wise - they use blue corn tortillas, which were delicious! I was surprised since flour is so much more common in Mexican food but also grateful! If you’re allergic to lactose - being lactaid! It’s worth it!! Also, it was super fun sitting at the long family style table. But I’d say look at the typical traffic time because there were rarely more than two spots available together while we were there. Incredible! I hope to go back!

Alfonso makes a great breakfast and lunch. I have been coming hear for years. I got my first taste of menudo here after landing in Guadalajara. The place can get crowded but the service is fast and a place at the bar usually opens up fast. The grilled meats are also really good. They have some staples like carne asada and lamb, as well as a couple of exotics like ostrich. There are few places in the Guadalajara where you can eat so well for such a great price. When I was going to school the breakfasts were 35 pesos. And you can't beat the tortillas. Seriously the best!

One of the jewels of Guadalajara this place is a must see. There is a small (2 or 3 blocks) of retail and food stalls, but the wholesale area feels like it goes on forever. This is where you get to see what is in season around Western Mexico as well as some of the best examples of local culinary traditions. Mercado de Abastos is where all of the other little community markets come to buy their product. I highly recommend trying Birrieria Aceves, Menuderia Chela and Carne Asadas Alfonso. What truly elevates the mood is the presence of live mariachi music, which fills the space and instantly lifts your spirits, setting a vibrant, festive tone. Beyond the incredible ambiance, the food selection is extensive and satisfying, offering something delicious for everyone. The staff is exceptionally attentive and professional, ensuring top-notch service throughout your visit. Fabulous restaurant with a mixed setting (indoor/outdoor). A couple of waterfalls surround the seating that gives off a natural & exotic feel. Prices are a bit on the higher end but worth it.

Last night I had the pleasure of dining at Santo Coyote, and it was nothing short of amazing. From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the beautiful decorations — the atmosphere was warm, lively, and full of character, perfectly balancing traditional charm with a modern touch. To start, I ordered the guacamole with chicharrón and queso as appetizers. Both dishes were absolutely delicious — the guacamole was fresh and full of flavor, and the crunchy chicharrón added the perfect texture. The queso was rich and comforting, a perfect way to begin the meal. For my main course, I had the Mar y Tierra churrasco with shrimp, and it was simply outstanding. The steak was tender and perfectly cooked, complemented beautifully by the juicy, flavorful shrimp. Every bite felt like a celebration of flavor and quality ingredients. The service was also excellent — attentive and friendly without being intrusive. Overall, Santo Coyote delivered a wonderful experience filled with great food, inviting ambiance, and top-notch service. I can’t wait to go back and try more from their menu!

Beautiful place, delicious food, super beautiful and relaxing atmosphere. Their salsa amartajada, prepared from scratch by your table, was delicious, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. I was avoiding animal protein for the night, and ordered two different soups: Crema del Negro (black beans based, with cheese and herbs, etc), y Crema Hacienda de Cortes (flor de calabaza). Both were delicious. For drink I had the Jamaica with mineral water. It was very special. The chaman of the place is a good friend of my friend who was my host. The chaman is a very friendly and interesting person. It was a great experience having him for a few minutes at our table. The service was excellent, the table was in a super high palapa that is at the end of a beautiful tropical garden with tables. They also have tables and a museum of tequila on the 2nd floor. This place is a keeper. Especially if you want to treat and cause a very good impression on your guest - or when treating yourself to a nice place and meal -. They also have a mariachi band and a folkloric ballet performing in the patio. Great artists in both groups!! Definitely, this place is a keeper!!

There were a massive amount of real flowers decorating the entire restaurant and wandering cobblestone paths that lead you through natural greenery to your table where you will experience top notch service and mind blowing delicious food. Accompanied by live entertainment by mariachi and mexican dancers. Be careful not to order too much. The servings are large.

Exceeded my expectations! The food was fresh and flavorful. My picky daughter devoured her smoked salmon and loved it. The tropical vibe, with fountains all around, made for such a relaxing setting. Service was excellent, attentive and warm. A must-visit in Guadalajara!

Mercado Santa Tere is a bustling market located in the Santa Tere neighborhood of Guadalajara, Mexico. It offers a lively atmosphere with vendors selling a variety of fruits, vegetables, and traditional Mexican food. One popular stall at the market is Fonda La Mariquita, known for its deep-fried quesadillas with chicken and mushroom, as well as refreshing agua de Jamaica.
This is a great market. It is small and clean with many home made items from fresh cheese to pickled veggies. We ate breakfast at Cafe Elena in the north of the market and it was amazing. One of the best meals we had in the city. The women were very friendly and patient with our broken Spanish.

Tacos Juan Santa Teresita offers some of the best tacos de barbacoa in Guadalajara, with friendly service and a functional dining room. The restaurant is always busy due to its delicious barbacoa tacos, so don't wait until late lunch - you'll be disappointed. For breakfast, Tacos Juan is hard to beat - their tacos are so good that they only serve one flavor!
Guadalajara Eats 2024 #12, Taco #26, Barbacoa #3: I originally ate here two years ago and ended up having it 5 times. Because I liked it so much I never made it to Barbacoa Arturo. This trip, I made a point to try Arturo. I then came back to Tacos Juan the day after to compare. IMO it's no contest. Tacos Juan is better than Arturo in every category: food, service, atmosphere, and price. The barbacoa itself is much better as are the tortillas AND salsas. The one thing I'll give Arturo is they provide cebollitas asadas (though maybe you can ask for that here?). I think the service is better here, and it's so, so much more comfortable to eat here. The tacos are $1 MXN cheaper here, too. I'm so sad I didn't have more time to eat here again. I personally also prefer Tacos Juan's barbacoa to any birria I ate in Guadalajara.

Mexican restaurant
The mexican restaurant Menudería La Familia de Doña Jose is a popular spot for affordable food and delicious tortillas. They have a wide variety of dishes to choose from, including eggs, chilaquiles, and quesadillas. The fried quesadillas with squash blossoms are always a great way to start your day.
During my visit, I found that there was a long waiting list at this establishment, which was a bit inconvenient. However, I was impressed with how quickly they took our orders. When it came to the menu, the standout item was definitely the menudo - it was incredibly tasty and flavorful. Unfortunately, the quesadillas fell short of expectations and didn't quite hit the mark. On the other hand, the pellizcadas were generously sized and truly satisfying for someone with a moderate appetite. One downside was that our drinks arrived warm, which was a disappointment. However, the check-out process was fast and efficient. Overall, while there were some hits and misses, the delicious menudo and efficient service made it a worthwhile experience.

It had been years since my last visit to Menudencia La Familia, and I was pleasantly surprised by the renovation, the place looks great and feels much more spacious now. As for the food, it never disappoints. They serve one of the best menudos in Guadalajara, rich, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. And if you’re a fan of fried quesadillas, their Coyoacán-style quesadillas are the best in the city, crispy, generous, and absolutely delicious. Pro tip: Order the small menudo and two fried chicharrón quesadillas, perfect combo to start your day right.
Elavan — Google review
Great traditional Mexican breakfast place. They serve different breakfadt options such as scramble eggs ( diferent choices), hot cakes,etc.. to the main dish which is "Menudo". It consists on a soup made with the 4 stomachs of the cows ( properly cleaned before cooking) with some other meats, and herbs/spices. This dish is mostly consumed in the morning ( highly recomended for people with hangover), and eaten with hand made tortillas and using hot spicy chili. Highly recomended for daring people. Please be aware currently the street is under repairs but the restaurant is still open.

Like we didn’t exist! My husband and I were in GDL for a few days and I wanted to try this spot(El Rey). I was so excited to eat here but to our surprise we walked on Monday 1/16/23 @ about 1045am and we were asked to seat anywhere. We kept on waiting, waiting and waiting. We at least wanted some water or someone to acknowledge us, 10-15 minutes had gone by and nothing. There was plenty of people working but we were just been ignored. At the point my husband decided to get up and go somewhere else. The staff looked at us and not even try to find out why we were leaving. I don’t want to think they discriminated us because of who we are but it definitely felt it. I guess it work out because the place across the street (Yolk & White) was absolutely amazing from the point we walk in the greeting was genuinely warm, service and food a 10.

Very good experience here. When I arrived they welcomed me with a big smile on their face and some sort of little sweet cake ! They speak English and the waiter is really listening to your needs, he suggest you plates and they have a new menu! They keep you posted on your menu's preparation and the food is also great and fresh. They also have a space with a playground for your kids to play and leave you alone and a great playlist 😉 One of the best places I visited here in Guadalajara, I highly recommend!
Chloe D — Google review
The main catch for which we went there is to have some crepes and waffles on an afternoon. And we enjoyed that. And most definitely can consider we liked the food. The only downside is that the variety is so bast it can be a little overwhelming and some products can have a bit of care than others. Sometimes, less is more.

This king must abdícate or be forcefully deposed. The food was a disaster: not fresh, low quality ingredients, extremely bland flavors without originality; and to top it all off, made with undercooked dough. The crepes tasted liked raw dough and canned ingredients. Down with this monarchy and it’s poorly made food.

This breakfast was fantastic—delicious and beautifully presented. The food looked just like the photos, which is rare! It's easily one of the best breakfast spots I've found. The prices are reasonable, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere is lovely.

This is a nice looking place. It has a terrace/patio area and is very pleasant. The service was ok but it took some time to get our food. The food was not good. Our food arrived cold. Not room temperature but actually cold. It was as if they kept the salsas in the refrigerator and poured it cold all over our enchiladas. When we let them know they did go throw the plates in the microwave for us. In addition to the cold food it also lacked flavor. I will go back again just in case this was just an off day.
Dland S — Google review
Food was OK, service was slow causing the food to get warm/cold when served. The atmosphere was decent. I ordered the omelet Pamplona, which was pretty but not delicious. The omelet was served warm, not hot as it was supposed to be. The bread that came with the plate was cold. I also ordered a macchiatto coffee which was delicious but warm. The canasta de fruits pastry that I ordered was very nice looking and delicious. I feel that the value/cost of what I received did not favor me. Cold food, warm coffee are very basic things that can be easily prevented. Not sure if I will take another chance here...

Such a cute and trendy cafe offering both walk-up and sit-down service, but it was ultimately disappointing when it came to wait times and drinks. On a quiet Sunday morning, there was already a bit of a queue when I arrived, and I ended up waiting about 15 minutes before being seated at the top of some stairs. Once seated, I received a physical menu, and immediately, the London Fog Latte caught my eye, especially since not many cafes in Mexico offer this drink. I ordered the London Fog Latte hot, with lactose-free milk, alongside a cinnamon roll topped with some kind of citrus glaze from what I understood. It took another 15 minutes to receive my tea and pastry, which felt like quite a long wait. Unfortunately, the London Fog turned out to be disappointing—it didn’t have even a hint of Earl Grey flavor and tasted like a completely different beverage (3/10). The cinnamon roll was significantly better: the citrus glaze was spot on. Unexpectedly, it also had chocolate inside, which actually paired nicely, though I would have preferred the traditional cinnamon-sugar filling instead (8/10). Afterwards, it took another while to flag someone down to pay. In the meantime, At the time of visit (in February 2025), I decided to find the WC. Staff told me to walk through the house toward the outside back patio, where I only found toilets but no proper place to wash my hands, which felt strange. I eventually managed to locate a WC upstairs, but it was messy and seemed more suited for staff use rather than customers. When I asked about a sink, the staff suggested I wash my hands in the cafe’s kitchen, which felt unsanitary and a bit uncomfortable. Overall, my experience at this cafe was quite eventful—but ultimately disappointing.

I absolutely love this place. First off, the coffee is just amazing. For my taste, it isn’t as acidic as other coffees in the area. Secondly, they have really tasty breads that are out of this word good! Thirdly, their breakfast is delicious and always satisfying. Service is friendly and knowledgeable. I make it a must on my commute into downtown.
Timothy D — Google review
I used to be a regular, but never coming back. The service has evidently dropped the ball. I had to wait more than 50 minutes for a simple food order in an empty restaurant because they never passed the order to the kitchen, ridiculous. Even the people looking for a table left cause they were never attended by a server. Food was good in the past but now the city has better places where you get a better experience. This place has seen better days, so now is a hard pass, give another coffee shop a chance.

The Café Tenango in GDL is a must-visit coffee shop. On the last day, a couple stumbled across this café and regretted not finding it earlier. The coffee they had was exceptional, surpassing that of many other cafes they visited. It's evident that the owners have an immense passion for ensuring their coffee is of top-notch quality and taste. Although they didn't try the food, there's no doubt it would be equally delicious.
This is my new favorite spot in all of Guadalajara. Nothing else comes close to the delicious food, superb atmosphere and excellent service. The food is exceptional. It is some of the best I have tasted in Jalisco. The presentation matches the quality of the dishes. I would return here even if all else suffered but it doesn't. It is obvious that the owner pays close attention to every detail. This retreat from the bustling city is decorated in such a way as it takes you back in time but with a contemporary feel. There are multiple area to eat. They have a terrace and many cozy rooms inside this once home. I choose to sit in the room the record player console. E en the exact records on display are carefully selected to match the atmosphere of this wonderful cafe. This is a must visit in Guadalajara. If you only done in one place choose this one. You will not be disappointed. The coffee. They are part of the atresenal coffee scene. I choose a coffee americano and an espresso, neither disappointed. They were smooth and delicious. The staff are very good and seem pleased to be working here. They are friendly and willing to describe the different offerings. They are attentive but not obtrusive. I tried this place because of the Pasaporte del café. I will return because it is simply one of the best.

The most remarkable aspect of this place is the décor — they've done a great job preserving the charm of a traditional Mexican home. The colors and overall theme are well maintained. As for the food, it's good but fairly simple, nothing particularly memorable. Considering the prices, I was expecting something extra to justify the cost. Parking is another downside — it’s not easy to find a spot in the area. The staff is polite, but the service doesn’t really stand out.

If I could give the atmosphere a higher rating, I would! So many beautiful details. Not a fancy place at all, but the dishes and table settings are exquisite. And the local art and decorations are so charming! We knew the food would be good ‘cause 2 different tour guides recommended the place. Yummy tacos! And special drinks, too!

What a gem! We loved this place. This restaurant is a family business, located in zona americana. It is great for breakfast or lunch. We went for a very late lunch and there were not many people in the restaurant. We ordered some juices, desserts and for the main peneques (fried tortilla with cheese, dipped in tomato sauce), enchiladas verdes con pollo, emolodas mixtas (with chicken and cheese, dipped in mole sauce), and enrijoladas mixtas (dipped in frijoles sauce). Portions were a good size for me but smaller than the standard mexican plates I have seen in other places (where I can never finish it). Everything was super delicious. The staff was very friendly, and the owner came to explain the story behind the "peneques" dish, it's fascinating, ask them :) The restaurant and tables are also beautifully and tastfully decorated with a lot of mexican crafts sourced locally 😍

I had a great experience at Tenango. I loved the art exhibit from Mezcala. All three coffees that I drank were really good. I started with an espresso, followed with a flat white, and took a V60 to go. The barista is a subject matter expert who will talk about coffee from all over Mexico but he knows a lot about Chiapas. There was a carne en su jugo special last week. This week they are doing pozole. If you like coffee, you will love Tenango.

(Translated by Google) The place is nice, if that's what you're looking for, make it nice a little more about the service and the food I think their dishes are good but for example the Eggs Benedict in Hollandaise sauce with chipotle, the Hollandaise was basically chipotle mayonnaise, which is far from a Hollandaise even if it is flavored and when eating it together with the Ham in the preparation, you had a disproportionate punch of salt, you know that everything should be seasoned like a final product, and in this one it was salted separately and when you put it together, you had something unenjoyable. On the other hand, their Bakery, very delicious, with flavors that leave nothing to be desired, are what they should be, but their drinks kill the deliciousness of their bread.

The portions were ample. Unfortunately, we didn't get to try their breads, but they looked delicious 🤤. The staff is generally friendly and serves you well. I would go back 👍🏻 (Original) Es un lugar muy estético y limpio. Los platillos no son wow, pero están ricos. Todas probamos diferentes tipos de chilaquiles y estuvieron buenos. La Flor y Nata Chapalita is a charming spot that offers traditional Mexican breakfast in a pleasant indoor and outdoor setting. It's an ideal place to enjoy a delicious breakfast with excellent service. The restaurant also features a kids club, making it family-friendly. Guests appreciate the attentive service and clean facilities, although some mention that the food is not exceptional but still enjoyable. Overall, it's recommended for its great atmosphere, good service, and reasonable prices.
Loved the food and the quick service, they even have Tamales and Carnitas(as topping or side) on the menu. The highlight is the fast and good service from the staff. A great option for a Sunday Breakfast.

I wish they could see a way to improve the chilaquiles.

(Translated by Google) I found the service to be very good, super attentive and friendly; even the valet staff was very kind. Honestly, if we were only evaluating the service, I'd be giving it 5 stars. That said, I think the food at the Metropolitan Park location is much better. I ordered Eggs Benedict, which I'd ordered before at the Metropolitan location and knew was delicious. However, they served me a very yellow hollandaise sauce, and the eggs weren't poached as indicated on the menu, but rather soft-boiled. The potatoes (which for me are the best part of the dish) had a reheated texture. Everything else: coffee, juice, smoothies, and sweet bread; it was very good. I would recommend going if you're in the mood for coffee and delicious bread, but based on the main course I had the chance to try, I'd recommend skipping the savory dishes.

(Translated by Google) The food is delicious, nothing extraordinary, but no complaints about what we tried. They have a small play area for the kids, which was a plus for our friends, and it has valet parking, which we didn't use because there is plenty of space right on the side street to park your car. The bad thing, the service, it seemed like they were doing us a favor, since we arrived there was a distinction between the treatment they gave to people with many people offering us coffee, they placed us at a table where the sun was obviously shining, it required more than 3 people to be able to see which way the sun was not shining and in the end, they ended up changing tables for us, which took them more than 15 minutes, from there I think it was a sign, since being at the new table I don't know if the waiter was new, but we had to ask for the tray of bread 3 times, a waiter always came to us wanting to leave us a dish because there was a certain lack of control at the tables thinking that those dishes were ours, anyway, we finished having breakfast and the truth is our conclusion was not to return until after a good time and that there was a certain maturity in the service and to stay with our usual places. I 100% recommend you go and make your own judgment, don't get carried away by the opinions, we didn't have a pleasant experience but that doesn't mean you don't have one and the prices are the same as the rest :) (Original) La comida es rica, nada extraordinario, pero ninguna queja de lo que probamos.

I told him no, they charged me for the service and they have to do it, they left it super attached to another vehicle, if I would have hit it, they would wash their hands so easily. A tip: citadel is opposite, they charge $5.00 an hour 👌 (Original) Los alimentos estuvieron bien, el café rico y de buen tamaño. El lugar es lindo. The public spaces reflect a global-chic aesthetic inspired by the surrounding neighborhood.

Fettucini with pesto. 205 pesos for a portion that would not feed a hungry 5 year old child. They use Bertolli dried pasta not real fresh fettucini and the flavour of the pesto was not even great. No additional parmesan was offered, only given a small amount in a huge bowl with maybe a 100g of food in it. Disgraceful. This is somewhere to go if you have lots of money to waste and you are not actually hungry.

The restaurant is known for its budget-friendly prices and efficient service, making it a popular choice among locals and visitors alike.

La Chata is worth the hype! We got there right when they opened. The place filled up not even 4 minutes after! We tried a little bit of everything and all the flavors were delicious. One of my favorite family friendly restaurants downtown Guadalajara. You will always find a line outside waiting to be seated, it’s worth the wait. The waiters to almost too fast, speed walking to their tables. I ordered a lemonade with mineral water, their glasses are tall and then, I drank it up on a few sips. The chile relleno was not great, however the mole poblano, beans, rice, salsas, tortillas, and arracherra were delicious!

Santo Coyote Real is a laid-back eatery and bar that offers local comfort food amidst lush gardens and traditional huts. It is an ideal spot to visit during a vacation, with its reasonable prices for the breakfast buffet. The menu features a wide variety of delicious dishes to choose from, accompanied by freshly squeezed juices. Super slow service, there is one person for two or three food stations; they need more people; I had to wait 1 hour for sushi, about 20 mins for a piece of meat. Drinks take like 20 minutes to get served. What’s worst is that it is very dirty, there are cockroaches in the food area and on the food, I had raised this to the manager and cleaned up the area only to see more small cockroaches. There is cross contamination all over the place. Worst service, food is mediocre and not worth the price

Great breakfast buffet. It includes food for those of us who do not eat meat. Omelets and chilaquiles are cooked per request and customized for each person. There are juices and desserts. Fruit and cereal. Cactus, veggies and hand made tortillas. These guys go the extra mile. The place is mexican with a American native decoration.

The Santo Coyote has breakfast, lunch and dinner. I am raiting the breakfast which is a large buffet with a huge amount of options from fruit, Mexican plates such as chilaquiles, gorditas, rajas con crema among others to dessert. The prize vs value is well established as is not an affordable place yet service and food quality do justify its price. For special occassions and celebrate with the family definitely a ti spot! Great time and food. Also the ambiance is great as it celebrates Mexican tradition on it's own way.

We ordered the most popular dish, the chilaquiles bandera, and a green juice to drink. The red sauce was good, but the green was not all that good. The juice was bitter and did not finish drinking it. Overall, it's just ok. We were seated almost immediately, and they followed up to take our order shortly after. Our food came out very fast, but after that, our server did not come back to our table, not even once to check on us. I had to ask for the bill two times so I could pay.

Melody — Google review
Came here because we saw a YouTube video of the restaurant with a very good review, but honestly, I’ve gone to less “fancy” restaurants that are better, where they treat you equally despite what you’re wearing. For all of us to leave feeling like they failed to attend us as quickly as other tables that had “better dressed customers” it leaves a bad taste in your mouth. The presentation of the food was alright, the ribs I asked for did not look like the ones that looked like the traditional rib stack that are juicy and tender. Mine was very dry and the salsas weren’t spicy. My orange juice? It wasn’t cold. If they’re used to serving it luke warm, they should atleast advise the customer. It was sweet but a warm orange juice isn’t as enjoyable. My friend ordered a coffee, the first one was alright, she asked for extra 2 creamers and a new one once she finished and one of the creamers was already OPENED.., and the 2nd coffee was cold. It had no steam coming out so they replaced it where the 3rd one actually showed steam and it was alright. Her eggs cost 122 pesos and they came out cold by the time she got them and her plate was SIMPLE since she didn’t want a big platter. I usually don’t ever complain but since my peers didn’t enjoy it, of course I’ll express their concerns and mine as well now that I’m speaking forth. They took long to attend us, my peers would try to get someone’s attention and everyone would pass by and not acknowledge her. The chilaquiles per my peers were more Americanized and they wanted something SPICY !!! for a restaurant that has many celebrities come by, they definitely need to step it up. In America, and anywhere else if the service is good of course the tips will follow. So for workers … they should know not to discriminate based off looks.

We stopped in for breakfast, it's nothing to go out of your way for, but if you're staying in Andares or nearby it's an option to consider. We had machaca and chilaquiles (see photos), the plates are definitely plentiful and leaves room to take something home. The service is hit or miss, depending where you're sitting and who's attending to you. Often, it's easier to flag down whoever is nearby if you need something.

The restaurant is very aesthetic but the food is underwhelming. We ordered rigatoni with shrimp, octopus with adobo, fried beef, and scallops. All of them were mediocre. The scallops, in particular, were highly recommended by one of the staff. They were not fresh or tender, and had the taste of old frozen seafood. My wife and I ate one piece each and had our server take it back. The octopus was overcooked and tough. It was inedible, so did not finish it. By the end, we left most of the food on the table. The server and person who provided recommendations (possibly shift supervisor or manager), recognized we hardly touched multiple dishes but did nothing to fix the issue. We spent almost $150 USD for meal that was not satisfactory. We won’t be going back.

They have just recently opened. - Atmosphere: The place is huge with two levels and different ambiance. Definitely, the bar section is the best, most beautiful, peaceful, and well decorated. - Service: Everyone was super nice with great recommendations and overall from begging to end, great customer service. - Food: we ordered cheese, which was very yumny, and grwt conbibationbetwen sweet and salty. Then we ordered ribeye and chicken. Both were perfectly cooked, with great flavors and a very satisfying portion. - Prices: high but worth it for the quality of the experience. Visiting the area for a few days to explore. I came across this place my first morning and was more than pleasantly surprised… a little trendy, but that’s OK with me. Chill atmosphere with fresh juices and well crafted dishes. I had the avocado toast which was topped with two poached eggs and arugula and a beautiful presentation…. Returned there a couple of days later and was equally impressed. Super friendly staff. I’m moving to Guadalajara soon… if I move to this neighborhood, this will be my go to breakfast place!

BAHAM CAFÉ is in a pleasant setting and has good coffee. Unfortunately, we found the food lacking. I had the Baham chilaquiles, but the tortilla chips were thicker than normal and was light on the sauce. It comes with a miniscule 100 grams of beef. My wife tried the Philly steak. With that name, we were expecting a large oblong bread, but it was served on a small square bread. The arugula for the salad was filled with holes. The hostess offered to change the salad and gave us some muffins on the house in compensation, but I doubt we would return. It seems that most eateries in this area pay high rent and to compensate they skimp on the portions.

BAHAM was a wonderful experience on this beautiful Sunday afternoon. I struggled with my Spanish and the owner came over to assist. Edgar explained the cafe to me, that all items are made on premise, how the coffee selection worked and then invited me over to the coffee bar to watch how the coffee I selected was made. His attention to detail and consideration for a foreign visitor made me feel very welcome. On top of the warmth of service and detailed attention from the servers, the food was incredible. The scones with coco cream and maracuyá preserves were a wonderful compliment to the Oaxaca coffee. The omelette was served at a perfect temperature. And finally the Guayaba cheesecake was light and gave delicious final notes to a well prepared and thoughtful breakfast.

Disappointing and expensive. Literally got all of our orders wrong, granted there was a bit of a language barrier. However, they repeated our order back to us and it was correct. Don’t think it was the serves fault as much as it was the kitchen’s. Gave a meat omelette to a vegetarian of 40+ years which was pretty upsetting to them. Not to mention their portion sizes were quite small and really did not resemble the images on the menu. Other than that, the staff was friendly and welcoming, just very disappointed with the attention to detail as well as the cost of the meal. So incredibly expensive, really really not worth it, there are so many other better places and wish someone would have warned us.

The food is also fresh and tasty, with a variety of dishes that can satisfy any palate. The customer service is top-notch, and the establishment takes measures to ensure your safety.
Great location and food. Waited 10 minutes for a table. Chilaquiles and coffee were very nice and price was fair. Recommend

Nice small restaurant. The service is good. Waitresses are very nice but once you order your food, they disappear. But that is okay as most of us just want to eat. But if you want something else you have to call them. I ordered the breakfast Americano with two eggs, bacon and pancakes. The eggs were good and the bacon was surprisingly good. The pancakes were a disappointment. Very dry and tasteless. I never had worse pancakes than these ones. I only had one bite. I also ordered a large latte which was good. It came in a chipped mug. Not an issue if you are a left handed drinker but unfortunately I drink with my right hand. The chip part was on the lip side but easy to drink. The price was a bit high for what I ordered. Overall not a bad experience but I will only give it a 2.5 star.

I really dislike leaving bad reviews, but I could not let this one go. I ordered a salad, which overall was quite good, but the lettuce used should not have been served. Discolored and rotting. Shame on the chef. Pizza was very greasy and really not great. On the plus side, the grilled shrimp added to my salad was cooked well.

The food isn’t great to be honest, I ordered a mojito and it was watered, tasteless, it tested just like fizzy water. The waiter acted like he was doing me a favor by coming to my table. Kind of a tourist trap if you think about it.

Romea is a bistro located in the Americana neighborhood, offering a diverse experience beyond just being a tapas bar. The menu includes rich and hearty breakfast options such as the exotic shakshuka from North Africa with feta cheese, poached egg, and spices. For tapas, they serve options like tomata with serrano ham or strawberry with caramelized onion.
I absolutely love this place. I live in Los Angeles where we have have some of the best variety of food and this place certainly reminded me of back home in LA. The eggs were cooked perfectly. The arugala was fresh. This place is small which I love! I feel like it makes the service more personal. The workers are very kind. And everything is made in a small kitchen that is perfectly placed right in the dining area. Haven't tried the wine or even gone for dinner but I definitely plan on coming back.

Good option for a wine bar, they sell cocktails and beer as well. Small menu but well executed, big enough variety on wine by the glass although there’s no menu but blackboards on the wall, the staff would explain the options if asked. The place has a good ambience and music, is clean and normal to low noise level. They offer breakfast on the weekends and you can sit by the bar if needed. Zero parking and no valet so be prepared to drive around at least for 10min to find a spot.
AO D — Google review
I was not a fan. Prices were approaching California level, certainly for wine, and what you get is a measured out 100, or 200 ml of juice. The food is Italian, which is blah, but people in Mexico seem to think it's the bees knees. Service was on the slow side though not bad. Place is pretty dark at night, super mood lighting.

The best breakfast we had. We had a large group and they fit us in right away and treated us wonderfully. The food and coffee was amazing and the service was top notch. Highly recommend!

I went there last Friday night with my boyfriend and can’t complain about the drinks and food, they were okay. Though portions are hilariously small. Kind of fancy-sized portions. The place and menu have a Madrid bar feel. What I didn’t like was the service. The staff’s attitude was unfriendly and not welcoming, we ordered extra bread that wasn’t delivered and when we asked to have our bill split the waiter said we had to give her the exact amount ourselves (maybe this bar should consider giving their staff a calculator as a work tool), and, well, as I just said: atmosphere unfriendly and not welcoming. I am going to give it a try to this place one more time, since it is one block away from my boyfriend’s house and hopefully next time I will have the chance to transmit to staff how I’d like to be treated since I am a good customer and I am just trying to relax and have a good time at the bar a Friday night!
The B — Google review
Horrible place and staff. Stopped by for a glass of wine and a bite to eat on a beautiful sunny fall afternoon. They had about 20 tables open tables perhaps more. Most with nice outside views. We sat down at one, we were then told it was reserved, walked towards another with nice views and one of the waiters actually put a reserved sign on the table as we were trying to move to it. We were then told everything was reserved so they stuck us at the worse table they have with an inward wall view next to the wait station. Checked OpenTable and they are wide open all evening so it was obviously a lie. I wouldn’t come back here simply because there are so many other choices in the area with staff that doesn’t lie at restaurants that don’t pretend to have reserved tables that are in fact empty so that they (the staff and restaurant) can feel important. Go elsewhere…

La Casa del Waffle is a popular spot known for its delicious waffles served with a variety of toppings such as fresh fruit, ice cream, chocolate, and savory ingredients. It's a favorite among kids and offers additional dishes like chilaquiles and Northern-style eggs. While it can be a bit pricey, the quality of the waffles makes it worth it. The Exotico waffle is highly recommended for its delicious combination of fresh fruits and perfectly made waffle.
Really great breakfast. The staff was very nice the food was excellent. Highly recommend the biscuit and sausage gravy with eggs. They even brought me a menu in English. Nice area for kids to play. We got there early but there seemed to be a wait when we left on Saturday morning. Hot spot!

Excellent place for breakfast. They’re known for their waffles but I had the blintzes with strawberries. The blintzes were hidden beneath a mountain of strawberries topped with a huge dollop of very thick whipped cream. There was a line of people waiting but the wait was only 5 minutes. I’ll definitely be back. Oh, and the coffee was excellent too.

Nice place, excellent food, awful waiting time, almost 45 min before being served: in their favor the place was packed. The hostess was attentive enough to notice we had a toddler and seated us at a table near the kids area (which my kid loved). Will go back

The waffles are really good, extremely well served, whether it is with fresh fruit, ice cream, chocolate or salty ingredients. My kids are experienced and this is their favorite place for waffles. They serve a few additional dishes, of which the chilaquiles and Northern-style eggs are recommended. But the main goal of the visit should be waffles. It’s a bit pricey but worth it.

Many waffle options! I tried the Exótico and it was delicious. The fruits were fresh and the waffle perfectly made. I also tried the Chocolate chip hot cake and although it was good, it was all a little too sweet for my liking. Come early because there's a line after 9-10am, specially on the weekends. I recommend it!

Really AWFUL experience here. I ordered the biscuits with sausage, gravy and eggs and the SAUSAGE was HARD and STALE. I could barely cut into it with a knife. Finally a manager said she would replace just the sausage. Lol. Instead of the entire entree. I went home and had the worst food sickness of my life. Still have diarrhea. A great place to relax on a hot afternoon. A good variety of beverages ranging from coffees to smoothies complements tasty breads they offer. The place is roomy with lots of natural light. Very quiet early to late afternoons. Service was superb - outstanding is an understatement. The eggs benedict was prepared just right. We even ordered the fruit plate which had a nice variety. There was a kid selling bags of fruits and we paid him 40 peso total for a bag of mango and a bag of avacado.

Waiting staff is offensive, rude and careless. We had an incident over a glass of water because the waiter wouldn't bring it despite the fact I told him I had to take a pill. He even said that he wouldn't bring it because I was demanding it. After 45 min wait the manager brought it justifying this waiter "because I was rude to him". Sincerely, we had to put up with all their traumas and social complexes of their waiting staff. If you like to be MISTREATED this is your place. The food is OK, nothing impressive or out of the ordinary, there are definitely better places. Cheap breakfast comes with cheap customer service.

I’ve been here two times before, and its been nice. But this time, we had to wait very long for the server to come take our order, even though the place wasn’t that busy. They also forgot to serve my fiancees coffee. We were served the customary salsa and tomato/onion mix, but were denied the standard bread that would come with it (that I received both of the other times I came). We asked about it and were told it was only served during certain hours (but I’ve been there the same time for the other times as well). When we paid, we said that this time, we would not leave a tip as we did the last times, as we felt we weren’t serviced adequetly. The server got very annoyed with us, and went to her coworker to publically voice her annoyance. So, all in all, a very bad experience, we felt unwelcomed.

I know this place since they were a small restaurant close to one local market, now they've became a big chain, good for them, but i can see a big big increase of the prices, for a simple waffle, now they're 8 USD average + 3 USD drink, this place was mind to be cheap and affordable for all, now it's has become a fancy place for rich, is sad to see that more a more restaurants are talking this way. Place is confortable and have even a kindergarten (for 2 USD) and a valet parking (another 2 USD). Portions are small, so most of the adults won't finish satisfied however the flavor is good and the presentation is good also. I hope they can adapt their prices an being as they were before. Hate to have to give 2 stars because this is a beautiful, delicious restaurant. We arrived at 1:38pm and were handed breakfast/brunch menus. I explained I would wait till 2 to place my crepe caprese order (since they do not offer the lunch menu until then). My husband and a visiting guest ordered from the breakfast menu. While dining, I observed that we never had one waiter attending us but multiple, which was confusing and gave not one waiter any responsibility. I witnessed other tables having to shout across the patio to receive any attention. We asked for plates and trash to be removed 3 times during our meal, never an initiative from the multiple waiters. Once 2 pm came, we double checked that the crepe order was put in. Any question from our table was answered very passively. 2:18pm arrived I watched the entire staff in the restaurant walking around with nothing to do and working very slowly without care to attend to their tables. After asking a second time about the crepe, it came to the table at 2:25pm. The Caprese crepe is with cheese and cherry tomatoes on top. Never experienced a long wait at any of the other locations for the simple crepe.. I would not recommend this restaurant location simply because of the staff.

From the moment we stepped in, the ambiance exuded warmth and sophistication, setting the stage for a memorable meal. The service at Maison Paulette was impeccable; every detail was meticulously attended to with a genuine smile. The staff was not only knowledgeable but also passionate about their offerings, which added a personal touch to our visit. Now, onto the highlight - the food. Maison Paulette's menu is a fusion of French and Mexican cuisine, and each dish we tried was a testament to culinary mastery. The French toast, a personal favorite, was an absolute standout. Perfectly golden and generously topped, it redefined what French toast should be. Equally impressive were the green chilaquiles, a harmonious blend of flavors and textures that showcased the chef's skill in blending traditional Mexican ingredients with a contemporary twist. Each bite was a celebration of freshness and flavor, leaving us craving more. In conclusion, Maison Paulette in Guadalajara not only met but surpassed our expectations with its exceptional food and service. Whether you're a local or a visitor, this charming establishment promises an unparalleled dining experience that celebrates both French and Mexican culinary traditions with flair. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a memorable gastronomic adventure in Guadalajara.

• Ambiance: 👍 The restaurant looks very nice and since is quite photogenic, it naturally invites insta influencers / people to take pictures of the place and dishes. • Menú: 👋, so so. Most food here is good, not great. Of course everything comes down to personal preference when it comes to food, all pallets are different, BUT, if I may make a few suggestions, order the Eggs Benedicts as breakfast / brunch. Or one of their desserts. Overall I would recommend this place mostly because of their deserts than anything else👌 • Coffee: 👎 Been hugely into coffee myself, hand crafted good quality coffee, I would say this is this restaurant biggest weakness. Is far from been even a simple good cup of coffee and late, just out of curiosity I have try all their coffees and lattes, they all disappointed me. • Terribly slow service: 👎 I have been coming here for at least 7 times, and there (service has always been super and terribly slow). • Accessibility: 👍 Accessibility is great, the whole restaurant is 1 level and does not require ramp or elevator. Parking lot is quite small and can easily be a problem at peak hrs, I recommend coming early. • Location: 👍 In comparison to most of their other locations in this city, this one is the biggest of them all. It is very nice looking for dining both in, or outside. The location feels quite safe. - Feedback: #1 This restaurant really needs someone who energizes the team to speed up service. People come to places like this for a good dessert, brunch etc / chill, but employees here seem a lot more relax than their actual costumers, it should go the other way around, just saying. I should not have to stand up / go hunting every few minutes to get some decent attention. • Little less having to wait a ton of time for simple things like pre made desserts, water or a cup of coffee. This part in particular I find it quite ridiculous if I’m been honest. Why should anybody have to wait more than a few minutes for a delicious dessert that it’s just standing there. #2 ((Waiters should always check their table every few minutes)) and keep them selfs busy instead of waiting for food to come out of the kitchen or dessert/coffee bar, at a good 5 star restaurant employees have absolutely always something to do / attend, not wait for things to happen. What ever they do they really need to learn how to hustle.

Had 3 meals there during my time in Providencia. good food , good service, GREAT coffee. Would definately recommend this place to anyone coming to this area.

A cute breakfast chain. I enjoyed the Huevos Campiranos (scrambled eggs with sweet peppers, light on salt, which is always hard to find at restaurants). I also got this nice guava pastry with my coffee. I recommend it if you're in the area and just want simple and afforable French breakfast foods.

Located in the Zona Expo district, Hotel Riu Plaza Guadalajara offers modern and posh accommodation with a range of amenities. The landmark hotel features an outdoor pool, fitness center, and spa, as well as restaurants and bars. Guests can enjoy city views and access to a hairdresser, while also being close to attractions such as Guadalajara Cathedral and Expo Guadalajara. The hotel provides free WiFi, room service, parking, laundry services, and event rooms.
The staff takes service very seriously and goes the extra mile to ensure that you have what you need. For example, charlie at the main door quickly found a cab that had a driver that spoke english and was willing to spend a couple hours driving me around for a very reasonable rate.It was an excellent experience overall.

Great Stay with Some Improvements Needed I had a pleasant stay at Hotel Riu Plaza Guadalajara. The room was spacious, very clean, and offered a beautiful view of the city. Room service was excellent — quick, attentive, and made my stay more comfortable. On the other hand, I did notice staff openly discussing work complaints in guest areas, which felt unprofessional and affected the atmosphere. The main issue came at check-out: I had a credit balance, but the front desk couldn’t process my refund due to an earlier clerical error. I was told it would be handled later, but I left without clear confirmation, which was frustrating. Overall, this is a comfortable and well-located hotel with good service, but management should improve staff professionalism and front desk procedures to ensure a smoother guest experience.

Excellent service at the Riu, it's the tallest building in downtown Guadalajara, so it's not that to find. Inside the rooms are excellent, though the bathrooms are a little dated (I had to fix my toilet before the drain stopper chain broke), but otherwise it was great. Also, there's is so much tile in this building, especially in the bathrooms so he careful when you get out of the shower, because the floors are SLICK. I recommend getting a high floor because the views across the city are gorgeous. (All photos are from my room) Most importantly! The staff are EXCELLENT, very helpful, courteous, and professional. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff are very friendly. The bed however, is hard, there's no comforter and the wifi is horrible. Doesn't matter what room tou are in. Our group experienced the same issue with the wifi. I will add that wifi is waaaay better on the 360 roof top bar. During the day when no one is up there.

Awesome view! Kinda most visit place, specially if you wish to get good photos of Guadalajara, sunset and from glass balcony. We had drinks and snacks on the rooftop terrace. Good selection of wines and drinks. Staff is very polite and present, takes good care of you. Place is well maintained and clean.

The location is good for its price, with the best view on the rooftop. The staff is very friendly. One problem they have is valet parking. Reservations on the rooftop are also a problem because they don't give preference to guests.

Great rooms with lots of space. Very clean and service is amazing. Order room service twice and it was quick to arrive. They have great music on weekends. The food was decent and the roof top is a must see.

Piso Siete Restaurante Bar is a new way to experience the historic center of the city, located within the Hotel Double Tree by Hilton. It offers a mix of atmospheres where you can enjoy great food and mixology with one of the best city views. The rooftop restaurant provides an extensive menu featuring both Western and local cuisine. Guests recommend visiting during sunset for breathtaking views. While some suggest improvements in service timing, many praise the delicious breakfast options and attentive staff.
Had a wonderful experience dining outside at Piso Siete on a Sunday evening just after sunset! The view of the city and mountains is spectacular, without being too cold. The wait staff allowed us to take our time ordering and eating, which was much appreciated, as we were in no rush to leave! We ordered apps, dinner, and drinks - all exceeded our expectations both in taste and size. Honestly, the dinners were such large portion sizes that we couldn't finish them. English menu was available and automatically provided to me. Loved the food and the experience - would absolutely return for dinner again with a very hungry appetite!

The place has it all- amazing service, delicious food, and creative cocktails (loved my spicy margarita). Plus, the terrace offers a stunning view of the cathedral and square. A must-visit in Guadalajara.

I visited Piso 7 in September 2024 and August 2023. Both times, I was amazed by the food and service. The buffet breakfast is delicious and there is so much to choose from from traditional Mexican breakfast items to American continental breakfast items. They also have mimosas or shakes that they will make for you. It is a bit pricey but I thought it was worth it. The view of Guadalajara Cathedral from it is spectacular.
Martin A — Google review
Excellent breakfast buffet and good food at all times. Serving staff is amazing. Gabriel, Brandon, and other servers in the morning always make sure guests are off to a great start for the day.
Riaz M — Google review
This rooftop restaurant is actually very big. It’s on the top of the double tree hotel below. The view is nice but not superb. The food is fresh and has a large selection of western and local food. I mentioned to them that there are two things to improve. First of all, the bill should come after customer finished dining. Especially for buffet, because this gives customer an impression that they need to get out asap. Come on, this is a 510 peso breakfast buffet. It’s normal to see people get many rounds of food. Secondly, a coffee cup should always come with a plate. In many European confides, serving a coffee without a plate is considered rude.
Guo Y — Google review
The view of the Cathedral didn't disappoint, but the food did. The menu was so underwhelming we settled for the Hamburger and Tuna tostada. The biggest disappointment was the Hamburger, it was bland, and mushy. The potato wedges and the Tuna tostada were the only items I enjoyed eating. My assumption is depending on when you decide to visit the live music down in plaza may overlap with what the restaurant plays in the dining area. It was reasonable, however I didn't expect to be served a drink in a chipped cup. Please do better, this restaurant has a lot of potential. Restrooms were clean and modern, and for the most part our servers were accommodating, too a point. Thanks for the view!

I’m staying at the hotel and have had amazing dinner, fantastic cocktails at the bar and amazing breakfast with stellar views here. Service is top notch from all staff members. They go above and beyond. Highly recommended. Dinner was phenomenal, I had a reservation for our anniversary and was taken to the best table with a view of the cathedral. The aguachiles were delicious, fish was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Great cocktails and attentive service. Breakfast buffet which is included as a diamond member was just as incredible. Everything tasted great, service was excellent. I’ll continue to enjoy this restaurant/ bar throughout my stay here at the DoubleTree. Thank you for a great experience.
TexasRobman — Google review
Service was OK but the food was horrible. The tostadas tasted like they had some cheap bottled hot sauce. The aguachiles had a grainy texture, which was odd, but it was the highlight of the meal and even that was average at best. The shrimp skewers tasted like they had mango Chamoy. I was very disappointed because online it looked like the food was great will not be returning, but the view was pretty.

Caligari Café, founded in 2006 by Isaac Padilla and Fabian Delgado, is a serious contender in the world of specialty coffee. The café offers an experimental selection of flavors and exceptional brews. It has become a beloved spot over the years for its intimate atmosphere and flavorful offerings, including famous chilaquiles and coffee that make for a delightful breakfast experience. Additionally, there are vegan options available.
If I lived in Guadalajara I would be a regular at this place. We came here for dinner on our last night and we left with a memorable meal. The filete de res with poblano sauce was scrumptious. The salads too were unexpectedly good! The only thing I remembered to take a photo of was the date pie with espresso dulce de leche — a great way to end our meal. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating despite our limited Spanish. We will definitely be back here the next time we’re in Guadalajara!

Such a cute place.. love the vintage touches. The chilequiles were different (stacked) yet amazing. They give you a little fruit bowl when you sit down. Recommend.

I recommend this restaurant. The poached eggs were as good as it gets. And the decor is stylish and cool. I can't wait to return.

Amazing. I am a huge sucker for breakfast and coffee, so I have been searching for a place to enjoy since arriving in Guadalajara. Nothing seemed to satisfy me, until now. I have spent years cooking and serving brunch in various restaurants, so it is a true pleasure to sit on the other side of the line and feel pride in another person's cooking, much less get to relax and eat it. I wanted to hug the chef. Iced coffee was smooth and well brewed, with a lime slice at the bottom which I thought was odd until I started sipping. The flower garnish pictured is my own, picked on my way, so don't expect it to be too frilly. It doesn't require extra dress- it's just damn good. Before receiving our order, they served up some sliced watermelon, bread, and sauces. Refreshing and satisfying as we waited, a touch that made our time that much more enjoyable. We ordered the Pochero(poached eggs over slightly spicy tomatillo salsa, crema, cotija, and beans, topped with crispy chopped bacon) and Chilaquiles Piquantes(traditional and incendiary). We enjoyed every bite, eggs were exceptionally poached, tortillas in the chilaquiles were resilient and crunchy, salsas were harmonious flavor combinations. Even basic elements such as beans were excellent, which goes to show true attention and care- a love of the communion that is food. Ambiance is somewhat kitschy cool, somewhat hipster punk, with antiques like sewing machines and hand crafted radio bars playing The Creation. Staff is equally cool, tattooed, and very friendly. Highly recommend.
Hunter C — Google review
Very hipster ambiance (there is no sign out front, artsy posters of obscure foreign films on the walls, and most of the clientele and staff are shod in Vans). As far as coffee goes, I only tried the Americano but neither the regular nor the extra strong versions were what I would call an exceptional cup of coffee. My general rule for mediocre coffee is that it is only acceptable if there's free refills (there aren't). The food is good and the portions are generous. I had the mollete bathed in salsa and topped with bacon and poached eggs. The oatmeal cookies are crispy not soft (not a criticism, just an observation).

I took myself out for brunch on Wednesday morning and it was the perfect time to go. It’s wasn’t too busy and I was able to relax, eat and do some reading. The staff were very nice and attentive and understanding of my limited Spanish. The food was great as well. The portions are large and the prices are more than reasonable. I’m sure I’ll be back during my time here in Guadalajara.

Small spot, but must visit. They host coffee from roaster Cafe Estelar, tried a single-origin Veracruz (v60). Perfectly poured, temperature, great extraction in oils. Tried tiramisu from SUSU, comes in a small glass glass. Perfect portion, great texture and flavors (not overly sweet). Creme brûlée, perfect top crust and crackle you search for. Will definitely be back when in town.

If you're on the hunt for a cozy breakfast spot in Guadalajara, look no further than ROBYS. This charming eatery offers a delightful homemade vibe with flavors that feel like they were crafted just for you. While the menu may be small, each dish is packed with love and authenticity, making it an excellent choice for a traditional Mexican breakfast. However, be prepared for its popularity; this tiny gem can get quite crowded, especially on weekends when waiting times can stretch out.
Excellent place for a typical Mexican breakfast. My only 'but is the fact that is tiny, so we always had to wait to be seated. Especially on the weekends it's really crowded and the waiting times terrible. Try the "Café Lechero'' it is the way a coffee and milk was made before the instant coffee existed 😁

We went here for the first time for breakfast. I was a bit disappointed. First, there were no outdoor tables and several of the tables were closed because they only have one waiter. I was surprised to learn that this is normal for this location. As a result, if you come to this location, be prepared to wait outside for a while because they don't have enough servers to manage the tables that are there. On a positive note, the one server that they do have is a very hard worker, friendly, and did a good job with our table. The coffee was good, but I felt my food was just average (omelet and beans). The prices are a little high for the portion size and food that you get, though I did like that they at least brought some bread to the table. There is a paid parking lot that you will get a discount on the parking fee if you get your ticket validated. I would recommend the other Roby location, as it just feels more complete, more cozy, and has more servers and better prepared food.

Had their Enchiladas verdes and It was really disappointed. The chicken in the enchiladas was not properly shredded and I had the big chunks of chicken. I also felt that the chicken used in the enchiladas was not fresh. The staff was continuously busy talking and not giving attention to the customers. I don’t know if I would like to give them a second chance or not.

This is one of the best places in which I’ve ever had breakfast in Guadalajara. The food is delicious and the service is excellent. It excels in every aspect. We had a toast with olive oil, rock salt, hazelnut, banana, strawberry, peanuts and mint leaf. It was the best toast I’ve ever had. We also had burnt tortilla ice cream and, though it may sound strange, it was magnificent. Totally recommended!

The restaurant is comfortable and the service is excellent. The food left a lot to be desired. The Huevos Norteños were not tasty and were practically left untouched. The red sauce needs to be improved and the pork rib flavor was off as well. Really wanted to like this place but was ultimately disappointed in the food. I will say the French toast was very good and the service was excellent.

Oh man, this place had an AMAZING brunch menu. Not only do they have a decent selection, but the presentation of the plates make for a better meal overall. Something about the presentation just makes it more appetizing to me. Besides that, the servers consistently checked on us and made us feel welcome. I would highly recommend this place to anyone in the area who wants brunch. (Also the prices aren't too bad)
