We were insulted by employee Vlad in this establishment, he said that we should leave because he didn’t like us and called a security from another establishment, because we drink beer from this pub. People does not deserve attention from this person and people who work here. We won’t come again and doesnt recommend to come here.

Decent place. You can watch EPL here. Unfortunately not every match, but still. Polish commentary (I didn't manage to find a place in Bydgoszcz where you can watch footy in English) Good pizza. My favourite is called Kabestan. The choice of beers is somewhat limited, but if you're not much into craft beer you will be satisfied. Wide range of cocktails and strong spirits available.

We have been to this place many times but it is the first time we come there 100% sober. So of course, we see more things that we never noticed before. Watch out when they are making your drinks they expect you to be too drunk to notice that you are not getting what your paying for. The owners are so cheap that they don’t even have hand soup in the bathrooms.

Despite the broadcast of the football match and a full house, they were very eager to give us a seat. The pizza certainly doesn't taste like in Italy, but it is still enjoyable. The staff is courteous, speaks English and is very eager to speak English. Only the ordering at the bar is a bit "annoying".

Hi,Not a good place for foreigners. The staff is very rude, and their behavior wasn’t nice. I went to this place last Saturday after work with my coworkers (Polish guys). I was standing and waiting to place an order for long time. I moved from one side of the counter to the other, hoping someone would take my order, but she kept ignoring me and preferred to serve others who came after me. When I asked her again, she very rudely told me to wait. I said okay, but when I mentioned to her colleague that she will not take my order, his reply was: “też nie” I have been living in Bydgoszcz for over 9 years and working for more than 5 years on Stary Rynek in gastronomy. I’ve never faced a situation like this. It really hurt, and it felt like they treated me this way because of racism. Afterthat polish coworker came to buy for me. She took order from him in 30 seconds. I hope they reflect on this and learn to treat foreigners with respect. I DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE

American guy visiting. I really like the simple pricing of the items in this place, and the prices are fair as well. (one price for any food item, another price for any drink) I tried this Polish delicacy, and I LOVE it. (herring with onions and oil, fresh bread. Warm up with a cold vodka shot) Lastly, thus place is open after the whole rest of the town is closed. Well-done!

Called in with some friends as they recommended it. Only had a few shots but what a brilliant place the drinks we had were very good. It was quite late on a weekday when we called in I can imagine it's a brilliant place to go on a weekend.

I came off the train at around 3:00 am and went to this place to take a break and call a taxi. I know these Bars and been to a lot of them very often and never had any problems. I walked into the bar and there was a bartender playing on her computer and completely ignoring me. After a few minutes I asked her if she could serve me, she turned to me and said "you have to wait" in a very angry voice. A girl then came from outside, after eating pizza and joking with others, finally came in and served me. Another one with attitude. She then went to her place back to her friends and started to dance. The place was a complete disaster, garbage everywhere, empty glasses all over the place, toilet with toilet paper rolling all over the floor into the bar area, could not even walk into the toilet. Two girls that were working, could not of cared less about anything and customers except their friends. What a complete disaster and lack of respect for the customers that are not on their personal list. I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN. I was there in the early morning of July 1 st., 2018

What a beautiful evening !!! We went there with my wife and Mr Józef (drums)and three companions ( bass guitar, saxophone/ flute and piano) all played exceptionally well ) I can’t thank enough for such a beautiful night!!! Unfortunately we couldn’t stay long due to responsibilities next morning. Hopefully we will be back soon again . If you know this place you know if you don’t it’s a must visit for any jazz lovers !!!

Great atmosphere, I enjoy a lot Monday and Tuesday evenings when there some young guys playing. Cocktails are usually excellent, apart the last one I tried that was really poor (I would take it off the menu the so called "yellow birds"). Service should be improved because empty glasses stay long time without nobody collecting them.

I ordered grzaniec (hot wine with spices and fruits) and all I got was boiling, sour liquid which smell like vinegar. No spices, no fruits and no wine. I don’t know what it was but it’s not worth 18zl. I do not recommend this place.

Not gonna say too much because all the negative comments cover it, but just gonna say (and I truly hope the owner reads this) that that one EXTREMELY rude and needlessly angry waitress gets fired (the one with the black hair and neck tattoos). She chased out not just us, but also another couple on the table across us for being so awful. We didn't even get to speak. She is quite literally making it so bad that people leave. So if the owner wants to actually get customers, they need to get rid of that sour face. 😉

I recommend it if you want to spend time with your friends in a nice environment. Announced to hookah lovers ☺️ I also had Robious Orange tea and I liked it. I will try other things when I come another day.

Easily the best shisha, bar lounge in town. Great meal and drinks choices. And I would have to say that Sansara easily sets my standards for other lounges in Poland. Really excellent services, excellent, organized and friendly staff. Everything is well in order, elegant and clean. I simply love the place. I feel like this place is disrespectful and rude or specifically english black speakers. I was treated badly when i went in there for the first time by one waiter, telling me i cant get a place to sit because i didnt reserve online, mind you the place was still empty and i was alone. She refused to tell me how to even reserve for next time. Just a lot of nonsense. whereas i just wanted to get some food and just relax. Moreover its an amazing place.

The place has changed a lot (tables, lights, crew, beer garden) and yet it has retained its hard rock &metal atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Bydgoszcz.

If you like to experiment with craft beer, this is the best spot in Bydgoszcz. They have a variety of beers to choose from, nice, not mind-boggling prices and they even play some decent music there! ;) Anyway if you have some time in the evening, go check it out

I have been coming to Twenty Garden for many summers being a regular visitor to Bydgoszcz and generally have been happy. However, I was shocked when my partner took advantage of the 3 for the price of 2 Mionetto Spritz and all 3 were brought together 🤔 I've never come across this before and at my age ' I've been everywhere man' Perhaps you should change your policy if only one person is ordering the offer. 😇 Since then the pub has been playing very loud music, which is not for everyone. Time to move on.

My partner absolutely hates smoke and the only non reserved table was next to the open smoking room . She didnt smell any smoke and many were smoking .extraction system more than adequate. Only negative is that because the smoking room is so big , non smokers need to reserve a table in the other parts of the pub at busy times . Glad i smoke then .haha

Got served a beer that was way under the 500ml level in the glass, however, when I asked the barmaid to top it up to the line she appeared to be deeply offended by my request and although she reluctantly topped it up she proceeded to slam the glass on the table in anger. When I wanted a second drink it was clear that she was more interested in chatting to the other barmaid than serving a customer, and then she accused me of being rude for trying to attract her attention. I wonder if she would have been OK if I'd have given her short in the money? I doubt it. Will never drink here again as clearly they do not want customers who expect to receive what they've paid for.

This small coffee shop is truly lovely. It's quite hidden, but once you step inside the atmosphere is so nice—the space is filled with plants and the music was great during my stay. I had a latte with oat milk and it was very well-made, and the barista got rid of the very first cup she made because she wasn't satisfied with how it had come out due to the way the coffee had been ground. I found it a great sign of quality coffee and great service. The banana cake with toffee was also absolutely delicious, and the barista was extremely nice and welcoming. Bonus for the cute and very calm dog. Absolutely recommended!

What a gem! I happened upon this lovely coffee shop while walking around Bydgoszcz. I had a cappuccino and a blackberry muffin. Both were delicious! I asked for some sugar, and the barista suggested I try it first. She was right! So delicious, no sugar needed, and the blackberry muffin was yummy, not too sweet. The staff was the owner’s mom, and she was delightful! She provided restaurant recommendations and treated me like a friend. Highly recommend Coffee Trip!

The breakfast here leaves something to be desired. The eggs are cooked with way too much oil. If rating purely on breakfast it would be a 2. However, it seems they are better known for their home made brews and dinner menu. I enjoyed a chicken Indian dish that was amazingly flavorful. Their dark beer with honey was also extremely good. The outside garden near the river is also very relaxing Will come back for Indian food and beer.

Nice restaurant with great Beers & Character – Just a bit of patience needed I’ve visited Warzelnia Piwa Bydgoszcz several times over the years, and I’m happy to say it has massively improved since my last visit around five years ago. The overall experience now is far more polished, especially in terms of food quality, presentation, and ambience. Today, I’m back again — and I can confidently say it’s worth revisiting. 🍺 The Beer – Brewed on Site & Mostly Great Warzelnia brews its beers on location using traditional methods based on their own recipes — a fact proudly stated on their beer menu and visible in the venue itself. You can actually see parts of the mini beer museum and observe equipment related to their brewing process. It is a really nice touch that makes the experience more immersive and authentic. Their standard tap beer selection includes: Wheat beer (pszeniczne), which for me was too thin and light in body; it lacked the richness and citrusy punch I expected from a good wheat brew. Piwo Piwo – a classic lager with pleasant bitterness and mild malty character. Słodki Wiewiór – a sweet, nutty beer that surprised me with its dessert-like quality and smooth texture. Pasiek – honey-based, floral and soft. Subtle and enjoyable. If you’re undecided, they even offer a tasting set (Zestaw degustacyjny) for 31 zł, which includes four 125 ml beers — a great option if you want to try several styles without committing to a full pint. You can also ask about seasonal beers, which aren’t listed but are usually available at the bar. 🍽️ Food – Tasty but Slightly Pricey The kitchen offers a blend of Indian and European cuisine, which is quite unique for a brewery restaurant. The flavors are generally well-balanced and satisfying, though be aware that some dishes can feel overpriced compared to other restaurants in Bydgoszcz. However, what you pay extra for, you do get back in ambience, quality, and location. 🧑‍🍳 Service – Still Finding Their Rhythm The biggest drawback of my visit was the slow service. We had a very young and clearly inexperienced waitress, and unfortunately, I had to wait almost 20 minutes for my beer — which is ironic, considering it's brewed a few meters away. One of the best places I ever been. Lovely location,with great view. All kinda of 🍻 flavours, amazingly delicious food. Best in Bydgoszcz for a night out either with friends,family or romantic dinner.Its my third time there - and will definitely won’t be the last ! Must try and see ! Highly recommending!!!

Really great service and delicious food! Maria, Milena, and Amelia, among others there are so kind and welcoming! They made such a wonderful experience for us that we decided to go back again. We will be sure to come more frequently. Many of the employees also speak English, which was VERY appreciated!! The salads and pizzas are delicious as well as the carbonara! For kids, the panko chicken tenders are perfect! The kitchen was very accommodating and provided ketchup instead of the aioli. Much appreciated!! It is also very children-friendly atmosphere as they provided coloring pages and colored pencils!! Super great restaurant with really nice employees!! Also, try the lemonade!

Bobby Burger is a great place to eat! We eat here every time we're visiting Bydgoszcz/Poland. The interior is stylish, the staff are friendly and helpful. The menu is decent and the prices are reasonable. They serve Bavaria 0% alcohol larger as well as a number of standard lagers too. Our friend was allowed to bring her dog in too and they provided a water bowl for him. It is clean and welcoming, the toilets are kept tidy, although there is a set of steps to get to them. This could be inconvenient if you are in a wheelchair. Overall, Bobby Burger comes highly recommended by us! Enjoy!

Excellent and slightly usual burgers, that's all you need to know. Try the i-burger which comes with apple and pickled mushrooms (which I didn't even know existed.) There are lots of great burger places all over the world, this place is up there with them. Highly recommend

I used to like going here, but the place has gone downhill, and the prices have gone up. The burgers seem smaller now, there are fewer meal deals, and the fries are served with perhaps 10g of ketchup in a disposable plastic container (not environmentally-friendly). Would a bottle of ketchup on each table be that big a cost, considering a burger, fries and beer will run you over 60 zl. now?? Staff were indifferent. I can make betters burgers at home for a fraction of the price.

I was there yesterday (31 August) and as a student I paid my cocktails the normal price and not 7 zł as mentioned in the Facebook post. I asked the bartender about the discounted drinks but he couldn’t do anything. I believe it was a technique to attract a younger audience because the average age of people was 35/40 🫢

The vibe and energy is always high in Ava. It is very decent place in Bydgoszcz. My every visit has turned a great pleasure. But I hate one issue concerning this amazing place. The ventilation systems generally suck and I couldn’t feel so cosy in this respect. Please take care for your ventilation systems. This lovely place definitely deserves better physical conditions.

Well... This is an interesting place! Different people, a light and alternative environment, a band making jams on Wednesdays, no pay fee to meet the place. That's nice! The cons? I've paid 26zl in a drink, and this looks the average price of most of drinks there. I think it is expensive, not matching with the purpose of the house. The band is cool, but after the 3rd week in a row going to the place, the same band playing the same music's becomes more a setlist than a jam session. They're cool anyway, but this is something the bear in mind if you intend to return there.

Together with my girlfriend, we started this evening very pleasant. We had food in restaurant nearby and some prosecco. When we've visited "Zakład" we decided to get some cocktails. Cause it was a warm summery day, we felt like having a mojito. When we requested it at the bar, the barmaid sent us unhappy look and found a few excuses to refuse our order. Finally, he placed in the front of us a cocktail card and asked to choose something from the menu. We did not feel like going through the long list, so we asked for advice in finding a sweet similar to mojito drink. The barmaid wasn't helpful at all. He suggested gin and tonic, cause as I guess was easy for him to prepare. Despite my remarks that I don’t like nether gin, either tonic he was insisting on making it better different way. I got convinced. And? Yes, It was still bitter gin and tonic. Cause I can not handle this taste, I came back to the bar complaining, and barmaid as solution arrogantly poured into my glass plenty of sugar syrup. The feeling was horrible. I got sick after and ended up my night out. I was working as Horeca manager in Amsterdam for a couple of years, and I know that arrogance, unwillingness, unfriendliness, and laziness shall not be accepted in any customer service. Not nice guys!

Great place to play board games and video games with friends or acquaintances, as well as there are themed evenings on movies or games, quizzes. In general, I highly recommend visiting this place, but note that if you go there after work, do not count on food there, there are only snacks to beer. This is probably the biggest disadvantage of this place.

So much fun!! It's my first night in Bydgoszcz and myself and my boyfriend have enjoyed trying a range of different game-themed cocktails and played a variety of games. Great service, yummy cocktails, fabulous atmosphere and fantastic prices (coming from the UK).

We stopped here for brunch and it was a great choice. We have been travelling for several months and this was the best Flat White we have had from a cafe/restaurant. Also the choices we made for breakfast were filling and delicious. The staff are attentive and friendly. The best rating we can give is, would we eat/drink here again and would we recommend and the answer is ‘YES’ Also thank you to the city for having places that motorhomes can park at, so we can visit these places.

Came here on a hangover the other day and was super impressed with the locale, food, and service. The interior gives off a very welcoming and cozy vibe. There's even a little play area for kiddos. Our waitress put my aunt's flowers in a vase, offered us a larger table, and took photos of us. I ordered an Irish coffee as hair of the dog; it was delicious. The whipped cream especially. My dad and aunt had the waffles which both looked good and they were pleased (I prefer my waffles a little more well-done, but that's just me). I had the English breakfast which is obviously pretty straightforward but yummy nonetheless. Eggs done perfectly, beans sweet and tangy, and frankfurters were tasty as well. There were lots of options on the menu and fresh baked pastries and desserts available too. Will def be back.

Surrounded by building of Museum and with its view on Opera House, this place is a strong magnet for citizens of Bydgoszcz and it's usually very crowded on weekends and afternoons when weather if fine. Also, lots of happenings take place here - concerts, exhibitions, celebrations and others.
