This was my favorite beach on the whole island. It was quieter than the others, which made it feel more peaceful and special. There was also a lot more marine life—so many fish in the water compared to the busier beaches, which had more people and boats around. Truly a beautiful spot!

This was the best of all the beaches we visited on Favignana. The water is amazing. Perfect for snorkelling. There is also a delicious big lemon juice stand. If we did the island again we would only visit this beach. Bring rock shoes.

This is the best place to visit on the island. It's easy to get down to, and if you get too hot, u can go in the cave! Also, make sure you pick up a tuna sandwich with pesto from the van at the top. It was amazing!

Stopped here for a nice casual lunch and was blown away. The view is amazing and it’s a nice relaxing vibe to take a break from cycling. The food was so fresh and might be the best meal we’ve had during our Sicily trip. Highly recommend!

Amazing fish and service! We got royale grilled fish plate and a mix of appetizers and were super satisfied. Also the cannolo was incredible! Plus they have amazing sunset view on the beach and very very spicy sauces (for those who are really into it).

great food, however shame about the service and staff. We visited here on our honeymoon and made every effort to politely order in Italian, only to have wait staff laugh and make fun of my wife. Very disappointed to see this is how they treat visitors. Waitress was very visibly mocking us to other waitstaff. Incredibly embarrassing behaviour and not at all how you would expect to treat respectful and polite guests, or anyone for that matter.

After trying a place at the north of the island I e came here and were very happy. Unfortunately, they told us that with the aperitif we could only get chips as the kitchen was backed up. So we just had chips and a drink. The view of the island with the sunset was incredible.

Beautiful spot to swim. The water at the beach is calm even when the ocean is quite rough in other areas. Several beach clubs dot the beach but there is a small sandy section of lots of rocks to swim from. The water is turquoise and super clear so you can see the fish below you. A quick 10 min bike ride from the center of Favignana!

Great spot with a really nice setup. A huge plus is the card system where you can order food and drinks throughout the day, keep everything on a tab, and pay at the end — super convenient. Prices are very reasonable (e.g., white wine by the glass €5, salad €12). They also have showers and bathrooms reserved for customers, which is a big bonus. Overall, really enjoyed the experience!

Perfect place to swim and sunbathe in. Majority of the beach is dominated by sun-chairs and umbrellas but you can still find a place to lay down your towel for free somewhere. Beautiful water and a lot of fish near stones. It is so small and to popular and the water wasn t that cristal clear, but another beach near this was trully amazing 🥰🥰🥰 and not that popular.

I am no inspector from the well known French restaurants guide and never will be, but after eating my way through some of the world's finest dining rooms, I can say with conviction that Ristorante Sotto Sale deserves recognition. This intimate sanctuary tucked away on Via Garibaldi achieves that rare harmony between place, product, and passion that defines truly great dining. Barbara and Carola orchestrated our evening with grace that can only be described as choreographed perfection. These remarkable women moved through the dining area like dancers, anticipating needs before voiced, explaining dishes with scholarly passion yet the warmth of old friends. Their blend of competence and genuine hospitality created that magical alchemy where service becomes what is meant to be. The food was in my view exquisite. Chef subtle fusion of Sicilian tradition with Japanese influences speaks in confident whispers rather than shouting for attention. The wine by the glass was decent, though the full list clearly caters to the most discerning palates. Regretfully, my children don’t drink 😢, leaving more excellent local Etna Bianco for their grateful dad. In a world of forgettable starred establishments, Sotto Sale belongs with the transcendent ones, not because it chases recognition, but because it achieves something rarer: a dining experience that becomes memory worth savoring.

Incredible. My family and I (mum, dad and 20 year old daughters) went for dinner after seeing good reviews, and let me tell you the reviews are right. Absolutely lovely staff, with the main guy just being so passionate and knowledgeable about the food/wine they serve. He was able to lean us towards certain dishes, which were deffo the correct choices! We got 1 starter, 4 mains, 4 deserts and 1 bottle of wine and it came out as €220 (£55 each) which for the quality I would say is worth it!! Stand out dishes - Tuna Cheek for starter was sooo beautiful, so tender and flavorful. The red snapper ravioli, so yummy! And the amber jack was just wow. For desert we tried all 4 one each! Each had lovely elements and were overall great, but would highlight the aubergine tarte tatin and the think pink!! Also the wine we had was lovely, they had an extensive wine list that would not disappoint! Would 1000% love to go back if we could!

The most beautiful food, but more than that, my waitress, Fatima, incredibly knowledgeable, passionate about local cuisine & she is the real ‘must’ of this restaurant. She recommended my whole meal. Lovely place! Friendly, professional, knowledgeable and accommodating staff - delicious food and great wine selection. Didn’t have a chance to book in advance and the maître found us a spot, the last table in the alley, which was not a problem. Kind of charming and away from the main street tourist bustle. They brought out a delicious complementary croquette, which was a nice surprise, then a local Syrah, which was very good. We ordered a delicious tuna starter, which was like a California roll but with great flavors and the tuna was outstandingly fresh. I had a filet mignon with potatoes for a main, which was done to perfection. Price is very reasonable, perhaps high for Favignana but totally reasonable for any other city. 10/10 will come again, well done.

We had the 10 course tasting menu wow. Some amazing flavours, textures and quality products. Just two recommendations 1. Having wine pairing with the tasting menu. 2. Less time in-between courses. Apart from that best meal we had in the whole trip in Sicily.

Chef/owner Francesco is a real talent. The food is outstanding and the place is gorgeous. High quality ingredients sourced locally and dishes very well thought. Sicilian traditions on steroids :) The staff was on point, great team well trained. Sotto Sale should get a Michelin Star. Order everything on the menu!

We stopped here just on a whim and we were pleasently suprised. The waiter was super super nice and the ambience was very quaint and cozy. The tuna bruschetta surprised us a lot, especially the tuna heart. And please ask for the cannolo! Its amazing!

Nice place to grab breakfast when you just arrived in Favignana by ferry - it’s an under 5 min walk away. Great sandwiches/ toasts if you like to eat meat. They however could not prepare a vegetarian sandwich (not even a toast with just cheese), so I ended up getting a tiny bun with a piece of iceberg and a slice of tomato. The pistachio croissant was incredible - best one I had in Sicily so far!! So I definitely recommend trying the croissants here.

The people that run this bar are crooks. They short changed me by 20 euros by using a well known scam. Taking a 20 euro note then asking for change from which they took the cost of the bill, but keeping the note. I didn't notice at the time sadly.

When the boss saw that we only ordered an aperitif and two cocktails, she told us very aggressively to leave because they didn't have a card payment system. Nice place to have a drink with a great selection but late night staff let it down by forcing customers out 2 hours earlier then the closing time that was advertised, by collecting up empty chairs,turning off the music and walking up to each remaining customer to pay for their bill, we left as well as 12 other customers 2 hours earlier then closing time when each customer would have been more then willing to pay for more drinks in them two hours I feel sorry for the owner who’s down money by them closing early and paying them for two hours they aren’t working, asked a member of staff why they are closing earlier then advertised and it was only then they weren’t able to understand English.

My favorite spot in Favignana – perfect for a coffee in the morning and a drink in the evening.

I visited Caffè Aegusa twice on the same day - during the morning rush hour(and rain) and in the afternoon when there was hardly anyone there. The atmosphere was pleasant on both occasions and the service was good ( though I went in and announced myself - asked a small question - before taking a seat in the terrace both times). Now, the food: Cappuccino - 5/5 Croissant - 5/5 Granita - 2/5 ( it was a Huge disappointment - very icy, lacking the creamy texture the nut flavored granitas usually have, and too expensive for this unpleasant experience). Overall, this is a nice place for people-watching and standard food/ beverages. Menu can be found inside.

Beautiful setting to enjoy a drink. They often have live music around sunset. The jazz band playing was very talented performing in both English and Italian. Overall, I think the price was fair for the cocktail and location, however the bar seems a bit pretentious as it wants to be luxurious but doesn't offer a luxurious experience. I truly appreciate young people leading innovation within the Sicilian landscape, but a few simple efforts and improved teamwork would really want to make people come back. During our day trip to Favignana, we skipped dessert at lunch in the main square because we’d heard the best cannoli are always filled to order. My husband found Pasticceria FC, and at first we were worried since no cannoli were on display – but that was exactly the point! They fill them fresh, right in the moment. We tried the classic ricotta and the pistachio cannoli, and they were huge, creamy, perfectly crisp, and unbelievably fresh. Honestly, the best cannoli we’ve had anywhere in Sicily – nothing else compared. Absolutely perfect and highly recommended.

Get there early to avoid a long line up! They run on a ticket system so don’t forget to pick one up when you get there. Enjoy!

We went to Cala Grande/Punta Sottile to have a great view of the sunset. When done we got inside this lovely and welcoming place to ask what kind of options we had to go back to the city centre. The staff was absolutely magic. One of the guys order us a taxi which was available outside just after 15 mins. We were told that we were welcome to stay and sit down until the taxi arrived and that we didn’t need to order anything if we didn’t want to. Very nice people and very smiley too. Eventually we had a glass of Prosecco and a mix panelle/French fries which we got the chance to take away as the taxi arrives before we could finish the food. Highly recommended!! 👍👍👍👍👍

The swordfish is one of the best I've had, but between June and July you can sample the Tuna steaks, their grill is so good it has to be a perfect complement to the beautiful seaside rest-bite.
