Ferment acts as a collective cellar door for numerous Orange region wineries, allowing our party of 5 to try a wide range of local wines without visiting each individual cellar door - hoe unique & convenient ….. sales assistant was so knowledgeable & gave us some great stories - we had a fab 1.5 hours . Bought some superb wines too - highly recommend a visit here first when arriving in Orange .

Cool wine bar and wine tasting place for the smaller and niche wineries that don’t have their own cellar door. You’ll also find local gin and rum, so you have the entire spectrum covered. Regularly features the wine makers themselves so you can really get to the bottom of the bottle. Great place to visit and they can also deliver on orders so you can always be going back to the finest that Orange has to offer!

A great option to try wineries that don’t have their own cellar door and talk to the wine makers. Chris and Greg were very generous with their time and recommendations. A nice cheese plate too!

We had a fantastic experience with Greg and Chris trying Hoosegg wines and were treated to a taste of Chris' own Cab Sauv and Greg's Nebbiolo. Wonderful wines with friendly and insightful discussion about the wines and about wine-making in Orange. We will come back any time we're in Orange!

Second visit to Mr Lim in Orange and another satisfying visit. Started with the Silken Tofu and the Fragrant Prawn Wanton which were both sensational. Our main included the Big Fried Rice, Drunken Duck and Whole Fried Fish in XO Sauce. The fish will never disappoint but the duck was outstanding with a superb balance between the crispy skin, delicious fat and the sweet tender meat. What a great meal on a cold day in Orange with excellent service and a great atmosphere. I recommend Mr Lim to all lovers of food n general!

Food arrived in inappropriate stages. Rice and stir fried vegetables arrived very quickly followed by Drunken Duck and then a long wait until a whole fish dish. Flavours were okay, fish too salty. Prices were mostly reasonable. Service by "front of house" the was good and restaurant atmosphere was good.

Fantastic Food! We let Sammy feed us! Unfortunately i didnt get enough photos of all the food. Definitely check this place out and book ahead! Great cocktails too!

Tried the duck pancake and the sweet and sour pork belly. Both were well seasoned but could do with some more side veggies. Loved the fried bun, crispy outing and yummy vegetable curry inside.

Food was disappointing. The fried chicken tasted very floury and greens were plain. They made a mistake in our order and the waiter had bad attitude. Even worse, we took our bottle home and found there were pieces of glass in the bottle.

I had a great experience trying this place via takeaway for some menu here and the service was excellent also, simple, friendly but professional. The standout dish for me was the steamed snapper fillet and the best one here. The natural sweetness of the fish really came through and paired beautifully with the radish and light soy sauce — a spectacular combination. The ginger wasn’t overpowering, and the amount of spring onion used as garnish was just right. The portion was on the smaller side, but it worked perfectly as a starter before moving on to something spicier or heavier. For me, this dish was a solid 10/10, and I’d absolutely recommend it! My friend and I agree we definitely come back to try some of the menu.

Amazing food, employees are happy to explain and nice. The atmosphere and decor is great and the bathrooms are so well decorated and comfortable. The photos below are the Korean Fried Chicken and the Lychee Martini.

The atmosphere here is beautiful - I love the vintage-style posters and the staff are all very well presented while having their own personality shine through in their attire. The staff were very welcoming and polite - a staff member regularly came around to all of the tables and refilled our water. The drinks were fantastic - I would definitely come back for the cocktails alone. The food was okay, not amazing but definitely not terrible. The portions were quite small and the menu was very limited. The only thing bringing the score down is that the food didn't meet the expectations that the rest of the cafe did.

Waiter English is not fluent and didn’t been trained well ,need improvement. Table of four walk-in and give four menu at beginning but late on waiter ask we give back three menu and can only keep one menu for order? ????? When order steak didn’t ask how preference would we like 🥹 Menu choice very limited and menu change all the time , please do not believe social media photo , all dish we would like order , not on current menu .No fish and no halloumi cheese . Can not believe this is the most popular and welcome restaurant in Orange . Food is the only outstanding thing at this place . Hope owner can make improvements.

I don't know why there are some bad reviews but we love this place... The heifer station Shiraz on tap was bold and brassy and I really enjoyed the very drinkable Ross Hill Gris on tap... I love the vibe and the service is good. The croquettes are filling and have a nice texture. The burrito penne pasta was a good balance to the outstanding anti Pasto plate. I want to come back to eat here again, but we have filled up our weekend with lunch and dinner reservations - also U can only book here if you have 6 or more guests, I like this policy.

We dropped in to Birdie for dinner while in the area for Orange F.O.O.D Week and it was delicious. We had the fig and goat cheese salad and the sirloin which were both tasty. Service was good and friendly. You need to order at the bar rather than table service but that wasn't an issue really. I would come back here.

The place looked nice hence we decided to give it a try for breakfast. They're very busy on a Saturday morning. We arrived just before 10 they were nearly full. We ordered right away as we only had one hour parking nearby. The coffees took 15 mins to arrive and the food had to be reminded and came 25mins after we ordered. And the toasts were quite a bit burnt hence tasted bitter in parts. They clearly couldn't cope with all the customers. We also had to ask for water. Hence we can't recommend them.

Funky spot, great good, great beers, friendly team.good music! I like the little tasting plates, the croquettes are awesome, we went back twice for more! The chicken liver parfait is also definitely worth a try.

Had a delicious dinner here one night whilst visiting Orange for F.O.O.D Week. Lovely casual setting with friendly staff and great service. Ordered the cheese soufflé and vegetable caponata and both dishes were excellent.

Loved this place!! Such an amazing vibe for my family and I! Love keeping young and hip with the trendy rustic vibe and the wide selection of alcohol is amazing!! It’s 3pm somewhere!! 🤣🤣🤣 Great Turkish cilbur and really interesting hampers and exquisite store!! Loved the staff, all the girls were beautiful especially Izzy and her gorgeous smile! A little gem in a quiet area a short drive from town - dog friendly outdoor with cover if it’s it’s raining. There are some really unique offerings on the all day breakfast menu. We loved the Japanese dish and the Turkish dish. There are also classic Aussie dishes if you prefer. The owner is really passionate about what he offers, particularly the coffee, definitely try the special textured coffee if you like long blacks. Nice offerings for gifts and treats in the grocery store too.

Went there to have breakfast. It was good. Although, I thought for the price of the avocado smash it would have had more avocado. I liked the addition of the cabbage and the bread.

Loved this awesome cafe. It's is a wonderful, fast serving, excellent customer service & delicious food,highly recommended and there is a wonderful grocer with delicious foods, and drinks and they have an awesome taste of music. A employee name Beau was such a nice man, he made us laugh and had good service.

What a charming place this cafe was… an unexpected Korean influenced menu. Well situated, lovely country charm & efficient super friendly staff. We had the most amazing brunch which was the “Okonimiyaki”, (see pics) never heard of, never had before but would highly recommend it. Coffee was their own unique blend so all in all a great experience. Special shout out to Lilly, thanks for the sweetest smile & warmest welcome.

I visited Rowlee with a few friends and we had such a good time! Fun vibe, welcoming environment, knowledgeable and friendly staff and AMAZING wine. I took to bottles back with me to Sydney, the sparking and the rosé are phenomenal.

We had lunch for 6 today and I have to rave about it. It was absolutely fabulous!. All our shared dishes were outstandingly delicious, the service was impeccable and the venue is gorgeous, with views. I highly recommend. My personal highlights were the ravioli, the beef cheeks and the single vineyard Chardonnay.

What an amazing experience! The vibe at The Union Bank Orange is absolutely fantastic, and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. It's the little touches that make all the difference, and a full loaf of ciabatta is definitely one of them. The food was incredible, with really big portions. The chocolate fondant was a highlight for me—it was so rich and perfectly gooey. And the hot honey colada? An absolute standout! This place truly delivers on all fronts, from the food to the service and the atmosphere. Can't wait to be back again soon!

From the food, to the beautiful lights outside, and the friendly staff, this is THE place to go to for your visit in Orange!! My favorite MUST TRY dishes were the Jalapeño croquettes, potato scallops, mozzarella and fig, and the sirloin. Food was the definition of quality Australian cuisine. My one critique would be the octopus, as it didn’t match what the photos were showing on their instagram, and it was slightly dry, but the flavors still had me salivating. Overall a very good experience !

Had a great set course dinner at the Union Bank recently. We were lucky to get a private room. Food was very good, well presented and good servings. Service was also good. Recommended for a special dinner in Orange.

Always ALWAYS a stunning meal, the staff were brilliant from recommendations, to pairing wines, topping up waters and even leaving you alone - they were spot on.

Chef Hugh Piper’s Comté truffle tart ($18) at Hey Rosey in Orange is perfection. Balanced by a single pickled and grilled shallot, the fluffy cloud of cheese gives way to silken custard barely constrained in crisp shortcrust pastry. Coming over from Dear Sainte Éloise, Piper sure knows how to make a wine bar into a credible dining destination. Despite being barely three meters wide, it holds its own against the absolute best of the Central West. Sink into the relaxed vibe of the twenty-seater with a hairy martini ($24). Made on Belvedere Vodka, the anchovy garnish draws from the bar’s extensive collection of canned seafood. The same Vegemitey Olasagasti fishes, harvested Spain’s Cantabrian coast since the 1920s, are teamed with cafe de Rosey butter on anchovy toasts ($14/2). The sourdough is local (The Sugar Mill), as is the Japanese curry paste that contributes to the snack punching umami and being magnificent against the 2023 Canobolas Chardonnay ($22/glass). Served in the can with tart cauliflower pickles, seeded crackers, and whipped miso butter, Little Tin Co. Smokey Port Lincoln mussels marinated in Cape Jaffa Whisky ($24) prompt me to order some for home. The next day I visit Cured for the exclusive to Rosey hazelnut mortadella ($15/80 grams). I would have bought home the Second Mouse Cheese Co.’s Roobie Blue ($11/50 grams) too if I hadn’t been driving all over town to locate the last bottle of Canobolas Chardy with the fancy new cellar door shut until Friday. From the clear margarita ($22) to the De Salis Lofty Pinot Noir ($21/glass)—produced for me despite it not being available by-the-glass—I loved everything I drank. Even a Victorian blend of three Pinots (noir, meunier and gris) by Eminence ($17) entertained against tangy braised leek ($18) tucked under sauce grebiche, bottarga and dill fronds. With slices of rare roast beef gently laid over velvety cauliflower purée with cavolo nero, horseradish and a golden Yorkie, the Monday roast ($25) is reason enough never to cook at home on a Monday night again. Well, if you live in Orange, that is.

Come for the wine, stay for the food!! Hey Rosey is a small intimate bar with enough room for you and your friends on the outside or inside back tables or at the bar with one other. The good lighting, great music from the record player up front and the amazing drinks menu make the space beautifully welcoming (the staff put the cherry on top for that one), it's not until you discover the food menu that sets this place apart. Don't waste your time eating anywhere else, just straight in for absolutely mental fresh produce and deli goods that I've been searching for my whole life. Speak to the staff, get suggestions on what's fresh, finish up with cocktails then do it all again next weekend. Well done team, mind is blown.

If you die this could be your heaven…. Spectacularly great food … no seriously GREAT food, every morsel divine. Pumpkin with hazelnuts and the miso butter - both produced from local crafters - blended with sour dough that luminary, the mushrooms with chef made ricotta and warm honey … hello Rosey! Is a culinary gem. As for the wines glad I tried Greg’s Neb, 2018 not quite a barolo not quite a merlot but boy it’s slides down the throat with a lovely fragrant head. HIGHLY RECOMMEMD this easy on the ears eyes and heart food. Open Thursday to Tuesday … 💛

A small bar with a spectacular wine list and beautiful food. Our group picked a variety of share plates and each one was perfectly crafted. The flavour hits are woven together with great style. If you are coming to Orange, book early. It is a small venue and very popular.

We had the most wonderful dining experience, having spent 3 nights in Orange and tried various fine-dining spots in the town each night, Hey Rosey is head and shoulders above the rest. Delicious culinary experience, great vibe and very friendly wait staff that go above and beyond and more than reasonable prices. Would highly recommend and definitely return! This place is amazing, I am a certified Chardonnay hater but theirs is fantastic! The first time I’ve ever ordered a glass of Chardonnay in my life! Plus the atmosphere was beautiful and the cheese plate was generous and delicious. Awesome staff, awesome place to spend a sunny day. Would give them an extra star if I could!

Today we had a great experience and time at Heifer Station just outside of Orange. The wine tasting was very good, just the right amount of information without anything pretentious and best of all we were left alone with the wine we were tasting at the moment so we could relax and discuss it privately. Their wines are superb and well worth the visit. The wine tasting notes had a very humorous touch which made them even more interesting to read. We also had the cheese platter which was very generous with a great selection: goats cheese, aged cheddar and a Brie, almonds, figs and a delicious relish. We had a great chat with the manager, Chewy, giving us the history of the original shearing shed converted into their tasting room as well the original old Cobb & Co stables beside the shed. It is definitely a great place to go even with young kids as there is a huge outdoor area with farm animals and a sandpit full of toy diggers.

Completed a wine tasting with a large soccer crew. Staff were friendly , and accommodating. Had a wine tasting and got the cheese and children's platters which were super cute.

The wine tasting at Heifer Station is a must when visiting Orange. The property is gorgeous and we loved visiting the animals on site after our tasting. Jordan was very knowledgeable, easy going and made the experience fun. Didn’t have the kids with us this trip but they would have loved the sandpit. Highly recommend.

Heifer Station was an excellent experience for our family. The staff were extremely accommodating, setting us up in a beautiful sheltered area out of the weather and welcoming our dogs. The cheese platters were delicious and the outdoor area was lovely, with well-cared-for farm animals. A wonderful, family-friendly spot that we’ll definitely return to.

3 🌟 to low 4 🌟 to high. I wish they did half stars The king fish Carpaccio was the high light for me. Fresh king fish just very vinegary The sushi roll was nice however a few things I noticed. The rice way to thick and heavy not as lite as iv had in other restaurant, made it very heavy. The salmon was nice just hard to taste exactly because so much sauce. The miso soup was very basic, Service is very good.

Quite honestly one of the best Japanese restaurant in Orange. I’m visiting Orange for work, and have already been to Raku a few times, twice for dinner and once for lunch. I’ve really enjoyed all the wagyu dishes and maki rolls. I didn’t quite like the seafood udon as much, as the seafood tasted a little blend in the way frozen seafood does. The service is really welcoming and genuine. I would definitely recommed Raku if you’re in Orange and craving Japanese 🙂

It took us a few attempts to get a booking here and we later understood why. The restaurant was bustling and heaving with popularity like a Tokyo metropolis. Enjoyed a terrific meal with tasty modern Japanese dishes. We started off with the Spicy edamame, Tempura veggies and Agedashi tofu. We then had the Nasu Dengaku which was their eggplant dish, Vegetable Sushi rolls and Teriyaki pan fried tofu. Washed the food down with a hot sake that warmed our insides and finished the meal off with a yummy Black sesame ice cream. Definitely worth the visit. Kudos

Small but well planned space. Staff are incredible - polite and kind. Food was 10/10. Wagyu, duck breast, and pork katsu are to die for. Worth every penny!

The food was incredible and plenty of it. The staff were attentive and we were seated and served quickly despite not having a reservation on Thursday lunch. It was very cold out and we were given soup almost immediately. Value for money was terrific. We had the Teriyaki Chicken Bento box.

Last minute booking but they managed to fit us in. We were thoroughly surprised by the quality of food & list of beverages available. Some of the most authentic Japanese food we have experienced aside from being in Japan itself. Very well priced given the quality & flavours. Will be back again next time we come through Orange. Only downside: waiters were too efficient at cleaning service (only just finished meals) which is fine given the table timeslots but it’s nice to savour what meal we just had without feeling rushed

Honestly, it was superb. Everything was delicious. It was a last-minute decision to eat here but I'm so glad we went. My mum said she was still thinking about the food the next day. 😊

We visited for a Moroccan cooking experience. 12 of us guided through a 3 course lunch. Of course the baklawa (baklava) was my favourite. Warm sun on a cold day. Happy conversation with new friends. And generous servings of wine matched to the food. What else is there in life. Thanks Tony

We always look forward to our annual trip to Ross Hill. Even after an 11-hour journey to Orange, it’s more than worth it—especially when we visit exceptional wineries like this one. Yesterday’s visit was another reminder of why we’re proud to be Club Members. James and Lindy were outstanding, making us feel genuinely welcome and appreciated as part of the Ross Hill family. The wines continue to impress, offering a fantastic selection of exceptional varieties. We especially recommend the Pinnacle Pinot Noir and the Pinnacle Cabernet Franc—both are standouts. Can’t wait for our next delivery… and, of course, our next visit!

It's a wonderful place to visit with family or friends. We enjoyed the great tour to the winery production process and learned more about how wines was created. Wine tasting was a great experience and knowledgeable staff was professional in explaining each types of wines.

Enjoyed a relaxing pit stop and lovely tasting at Ross Hill Wines. Met the friendly Alvaro, James and Lily who looked after us and regaled us with stories of their wines and family business. The Pinnacle Cabernet Franc was probably the standout for us, followed by the Rosé and Sav Blanc. We made sure to grab a few bottles on our way out. Cheers!

Our lovely lady was Felicity, she was extremely knowledgeable about the wines, the food that accompanied the tasting and the whole Orange area. Wines were delicious and the food pairings for the tasting very nice. Sorry was too busy enjoying myself to take photos. Would definitely recommend coming here if you are in the area. Although very chilly today, the lovely outdoor area would be great in the warmer months.

We had the most delicious breakfast and coffee here this morning. The team were super friendly and efficient. Also very accommodating - happily tailoring the menu slightly to suit my son’s tastes. It’s a lovely place to eat in too - nice and warm with a great atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Delicious breakfast..had the avo feta on toast. They use normal supermarket gluten free bread (it's $0) which is okay but feel an artisan gf bread would help to elevate a little bit more but the avo and feta was plentiful and absolutely delicious. Extra bacon on the side and crunchy (my favourite). You order at the counter or via the app.

Good Eddy is hands down one of my favourite spots in town. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming. They greet you with a smile and even know me by name, which makes every visit feel personal and special. There’s a real sense of community here that’s hard to find elsewhere.The coffee is excellent, the chai is easily the best I’ve had, & the food is delicious (fresh, thoughtful, and made with love). It’s the kind of place where you can settle in for a quiet moment or bump into a familiar face. The cafe itself is cosy..small but inviting, with a warm, relaxed vibe. Whether you're grabbing a takeaway or staying for a while, Good Eddy feels like a little pocket of home. Can’t recommend it enough!

Cool cafe with awesome vibes and incredible attached to a clothing store. Bacon and egg roll is delicious with the relish while the ham and cheese toastie is all forms of cheesy heaven. Coffee is featured from great suppliers so the taste is great. Staff are wonderful, very friendly and super efficient, definitely a great find!

My partner and I both ordered the bacon and egg roll and it was delicious. Served with caramelised onion and relish, and complete with bacon from a local butcher. The rolls were delicious. I got a Nutella shake and my partner got a vanilla bean shake, both were amazing (I reckon the Nutella was better though). The venue was very aesthetically pleasing, the staff were friendly and helpful. Local photography for sale lined the walls, and house blend beans were available for purchase. All-in-all, the cafe was fantastic and clearly supported local business and creators.

Not just because it's the only (I think) brewery in Orange, but genuinely I thought the place was great. Nice space, everything on display. TV screens showing how the place was put together was a nice touch, also showing the brewing process. Decent beers on offer. Middy, schooner or pint. The British style bitter is not for me, but they were nice enough to let me have a try before wasting my money. The beers are changed regularly so I'll be back again.

Was visiting family in Orange recently and us boys managed to sneak in out for a quick tasting paddle before dinner. You fell like you’re walking into some down south type bar you see in the movies when you pull up in the car park, which I’m assuming was their plan, if so, they’ve nailed it 👏🏻🤣. It was Saturday night when I visited and there was a decent crowd in, not filled to capacity but full enough to have a bit of vibe going but still be able to hear the convo at your own table which I like. Really enjoyed the beers, being a bit cooler when we visited I was looking for more of the darker brews which there was a good offering of. Definitely keen to get back out here again with a bit more time on my hands and run through a few more of the tap line up.

Loved trying some of the new beers. Really interesting flavours and a great vibe overall. Only downside was the tables being so messy since there was just one person running the whole show. Still, worth a visit for the beer alone! 🍺

Visited Orange for the weekend and decided to stop by this place for one drink. Really wished we could have stayed longer. Great selections of beer. We got the Neipa and a stout and both were amazing. The staff behind the bar was super and really hospitable (something that is becoming quite lacking in some craft beer venues). Will definitely come back on our next trip to Orange.

Visited the brand new Badlands taproom on the long weekend. Great venue (love the heated floor), love the food options/ordering system, EXCELLENT beers, would love to see a cider on the menu for my GF friend. Good wine selection but maybe a tad pricey.

Why would you put mayo on a bacon & egg roll? Enough of this weird obsession of putting mayo in places it doesn't belong. Mayo is made of egg and oil anyway, so doesn't even add anything to a b&e roll. Edit: Please stop normalising mayo on a B&E roll. It doesn't belong there. Ever. Take a stand against the Big Mayo overlords.

Wonderful experience. Definitely bummed that this place is closing. We’ll be be back before August! The matching wines paired well with the set menu. The lamb was divine. The kitchen caters to all dietary requirements, I had the best gluten free focaccia.

We went to Charred for a six-course tasting menu and had a mixed experience. The first two courses were good and showcased the local produce and the wood-fired oven. They were flavourful and well presented. However, the other courses were average and did not live up to the expectations. The dishes were bland, boring and the meat course overcooked. The staff were friendly. The wine pairing was decent, but not very exciting. The lighting was too dark and we felt rushed to finish our meal. Overall, we had a decent meal, but not worth the price or the hype.

Big expectations, not quite lived up to. To start we booked for 830, we called to see if we could get in earlier and the lady said arrive for 8 and we will see what we can do. We arrived at 8 and they sat us down straight away, so far 5 stars. The decor seemed like it was stuck in 2006 and of we were going out for a pub steak dinner then would be perfect, but not for what seems to be sold as a fine dining experience. We were asked for water and drinks and browsed through the menu whilst our drinks arrived. Then the first coursed rocked up before our drinks and there was a very small mumbled explanation of what the dish was and then they quickly walked away again. My wife and I didn't nessacarily have any questions about the menu so that wasn't a problem, but it would've been nice to have been asked if we had any questions or any allergies etc. The service just felt a bit rushed. Our drinks arrived, my negroni was room temperature and not well balanced in flavour. But hey they were a pretty busy and maybe it was just rushed. There was little to no attention during the meal to see how things were going or if we wanted any drinks. The service was on the faster pace of things which we didn't mind because it was late, but even as the dishes were dropped on the table, it was just a drop and go situation rather than seeing if we needed anything else. The food was tasty but nothing special, the presentation of the dishes was OK but was made sloppy by the food runners (missing garnishes and some food falling/ sliding over the plate, and the menu as a whole wasn't anything novel or exciting. The dessert was basically lemon gelato, and although this isn't anything new or exciting it was very tasty I have to say. All In all we felt the service was lacking for the price and left feeling underwhelmed and not quite satiated. Could've been an off day, however won't be back in a hurry for a second go.

Charred was such a great experience. Everyone in the reviews were right about the food and wine pairing. So delicious. We were so satisfied and happy with our meal and the service. The atmosphere was buzzing but relaxed and comfortable as well.

Have to admit, was expecting a nice quiet atmosphere buy it was fairly noisy and warm inside. The service fairly casual but the team were attentively and that made the difference. Noise aside the food is well presented, fresh and unique. Serving sizes good and the dessert that we ordered on top simply dazzling. The wine list is as long as your fav novel.

Outstanding experience from the moment we entered the door till we left, (and booking interactions before) The food was exceptional and the presentation a visual feast. We loved everything about the meal. Wine matching to the fixed courses were local and very good. Every person was knowledgeable about the courses or the wine as appropriate. Thanks everyone for making it a trip to the country to remember. Braydons theatre with my friends Old fashioned cocktail was memorable and the chats were great also. The young woman who served at out table was delightful, and lastly the hosts were great to chat to, informative and friendly. Safe to say I'll be telling everyone to go when they visit Orange, just like my friend recommended Charred to me.

We had a wonderful long lunch here. Charred has an amazing wine list, fabulous cocktails, excellent, professional and knowledgeable service and the food was some of the best we've ever had. It's low key and no nonsense putting local produce front and centre. The truffle custard egg was sublime. A real treat. We'll be back.

A beautifully brewed latte and a smooth, comforting chai latte hit the spot just right, full of depth and warmth. We paired it with a freshly made Reuben sandwich, and let me tell you — it was the real deal. Crisp, golden bread, perfectly layered corned beef, tangy sauerkraut, melty cheese, and just the right amount of bite from the dressing. Absolutely delicious. This isn’t just a coffee stop — it’s an experience. Whether you're a local or just passing through, Bills Beans is one café you simply can’t go past.

Absolutely amazing! The food was delicious! There wasn't much of a selection but from what you could choose, was delicious. I had a hot chocolate on almond which was silky smooth, and the perfect amount of chocolate. Another person had a coffee that they said was amazing, silky smooth and reflected the coffee culture of Australia. The service was fast, and welcoming, and the cafe itself was on a corner of a busy road with a lovely atmosphere of takeaway coffees, and family eating in. Loved the experience, and would go again.

The service here is always slow for takeaway coffee everytime we've been here. Two boys on the machine even when there's not many people waiting, I was wondering if I was the only who thought so. Then I read their reviews, I realised I wasnt wrong. Plus, the audacity to tell people that they're not managing their time as a reply is mind blowing. The coffee is average but still better than most cafes in here. Hence the 3 stars.

Pure indulgence at Bill's Beans today - the best coffee and the ultimate was the gluten free baked cheesecake (basque+brulee???). Told the staff I'd call in again but would pre-order especially for me a slice twice the size next time! So delish...

Cute cafe with lots of locals lining up to order and it is easy to see why. Easily the best bacon and egg roll getting around, while the baristas do an amazing job cranking out delicious coffee to their customers! Hardest thing is getting a seat, after that it is all great.

My first coffee stop in Orange as I had heard amazing things about it. Such a cute corner store and there was an array of different roasts to choose from. Super friendly service & coffee was really good. They ran out of almond milk so I had it with soy which has a stronger flavour then almond milk so may have influenced the taste of the coffee. The Trunk bacon in the Turkish bread toastic was delicious & generous and there is a selection of beautiful sweets to choose. Love the cheesecake!

Food was great. Exactly what you would expect and very well presented. Our biggest gripe with this place is how incredibly slow the service is. We booked a table at 530, didn’t even get my mains at 730. Making things worse is that they sat us outside with one heater to share with three tables, when it’s 11 degrees outside. I asked the waitress to move us to an empty area with three heaters and apparently that was impossible. It’s also apparently a difficult task to move the heaters over to us. Guess I’m just a pampered Sydney sider who can’t “Get used to Orange weather.”

The Charred jalapeño croquette was the best of the best! Loved it, was just overflowing with love ❤️‍🔥 mussels were my second favourite, the bisque was just melting away with each and every mussel.

Overrated. Choose set paring menu with swap out. Wait staff did not pare expensive, + 400% by glass, wine and definitely did not take feedback well. Food good but most plates over salty. Not the experience we expected; disappointing!

Friday night dinner, restrurant and vibe great, however the service snd wine selection very underwhelming . Clearly the service is impacted by staff shortages The kingfish was great, however the rest were average at best certainly not value for money

The staff were friendly and very accomodating. I had the vegan options which was delicious! Left the place truly happy and satisfied. I recommend the 3 course meal, as the highlights were the entree and dessert. The nut-based tartare(?) was very rich and savoury, combined with the pickled vegetables, they were beautiful to look at and delicious to be savoured. The main was pasta which I found to be tasty but not as special as the entree, but then again, I am not much of a pasta lover. The pasta was lovingly drenched in oil without leaving a greasy feeling in my throat. I had vegan panna cotta for dessert, it was so soft and gives the melt-in-your-mouth feeling on every bite. Really suits the summer heat and laidback atmosphere of the place. My non-plant-based friend preferred this over her own dessert. I highly recommend this place vegan option to vegan eaters and non-plant-based eaters too!

The food was very average. The fried fish batter was overcooked the first time. They gave us a second one and the batter was fine but the fish was undercooked. There was nothing special about the mains or sides. The dessert was disappointing. We were served stale vanilla slice - the pastry was hard (did not taste fresh and flaky like how it should). We would not go back again, at least not for dinner.

While staying in nearby Parkes, we took the drive to Swinging Bridge for a paired lunch & winery tour. This was in December 2024 & it was a gorgeous hot summers day. The tour was so personable & interesting, I learnt so much about wineries. The dishes we had were outstanding, I couldn’t pick a favourite even if I tried! We left with purchased wine in hand & have thoroughly enjoyed their bottles since. Highly recommend!

Had a fabulous tasting yesterday at Swinging bridge - a truly innovative experience with matched canapes that paired perfectly with the wines. They were even happy to cater to me as a vegetarian with just one day notice. Highly recommended.

Would absolutely recommend the Indulge pairing experience. The food was amazing and the Swinging Bridge team were very accommodating for dietaries. The pairings were delicious (and generous), Matt was friendly and full of knowledge about the wines and local area. The tour through the vineyard with the winemaker and owner Tom was very interesting, he gave us a lot of insights into viticulture.

Stopped here for a tasting and loved it! Great service, lovely wines and we did the savour package which gave us 7 bite size canapes to match the wines. Scott was super knowledgeable and passionate about the winery and region. He gave us some further excellent recommendations for our stay. If you are coming to Orange make Swinging Bridge a must do stop x We look forward to coming back and doing the Indulge Package to drink the wines again and enjoy the 10/10 food.

Booked a $25 pp tasting which was thoroughly enjoyed. No previous experience of Orange regional wines but came away with much better appreciation and understanding. Although dry at the time the location is very special in some undefinable way and when combined with nice wine and personal attention at the cellar door.... this was a very worthwile experience.

Did the savour with swinging bridge where there was the wine tasting and pairing with canapés pairing. That is easily the highlight of our weekend holiday in Orange. I love how the the canapés bring out different taste and flavours to the wine. It was so interesting tasting the wine before and after having the canapés. Service was fantastic too and we enjoyed the wines so much that we had to get a few bottles to take home. Highly recommend the experience.

Exceptional experience from start to finish. I purchased the $50 tasting with Canapaés. Learning about food combinations that match the wines really elevates the experience. One of the staff members also kindly gave me a drop into the city centre as they were heading that way. Small town hospitality at its finest :)

A great spot for cocktails and pizzas. Ask Barry to mix you up a cocktail on the menu. All the drinks turned out fabulously. The pizzas were arguably the best you can get in town.

They did amazing pizzas, well made and delicious (especially after chilli oil) their production of pizzas could have been sped up with having more staff. But we were glad to wait, and they accommodated dietary restrictions. The best gin was Tripple Juniper Berry!! Phenomenal. Thank you

My husband and I had the pleasure of partaking in a gin tasting and late lunch at Parrot today. The gins were fantastic, the service was lovely, and the smokey chicken pizza was hands down the best we’ve had in years. Definitely worth a visit!

The gin here is great, but what was really incredible was the pizza. These guys seriously have the best pizzas I have ever had. If you are in Orange and like pizza (or Gin) don’t miss visiting this place.

So relaxing but vibrant at the same time. So many story that make the gin so much more interesting and connecting. Ben did an amazing job and Barry was a hoot and loves a chilli.

What a great addition to the Orange food- sphere. Pizzas truly delicious - had the Lamborghini and can highly recommend. Throw in a negroni or two and you have a great night out.

We visited Orange for the weekend, and after enjoying a nice dinner, we were in the mood for some gelato. We came across this gem of a place open late on Friday night. The staff was super friendly, and they offered large portions and a great variety of flavors. We went with pistachio and lemon meringue gelato, and it was delicious. We will definitely come back during our next trip.

I was already super full after dinner, but honestly… when it comes to Spilt Milk Bar Orange, who cant say no 😂💖 Every visit here feels like a little piece of happiness. Last night, I tried something different after seeing @oillaz’s story. HAHA I asked for extra whipped cream and chocolate fountain inside the cone before adding one scoop of their most popular Salted Caramel Gelato. OMG… pure heaven 🤤🍦 The texture was smooth, creamy, and rich, and the salted caramel flavor hit the perfect balance not too sweet, just beautifully indulgent. The chocolate filling inside the cone melted perfectly with every bite, and that whipped cream on top was the cherry on the cake 😗 The staff were super friendly and welcoming, even though it was a busy night. The place itself has such a cozy vibe clean, modern, and always smells amazing. It’s one of those places that instantly lifts your mood as soon as you walk in. I honestly think Spilt Milk Bar deserves all the hype it gets. Whether you’re an gelato lover or just craving a small treat after a long day, this spot never disappoints. Definitely my go to dessert place in Orange 100% recommend their salted caramel gelato combo with extra whipped cream and chocolate fountain inside the cone awww 😍✨

Loved the vibes here. We enjoyed having the gelato when it was 3 degrees outside. The staff were nice and friendly. We had the milk and honey ones and they're great. It was a popular place with people dropping by every five minutes or so. It was our first time here and would definitely be back if we travel to Orange again.

This ice cream was absolutely delicious. We were craving some and I am so glad this place was around. Really nice gelato. I chose salted caramel and hazelnut and my partner chose pistachio and Nutella and both were delicious!

Clean and decent place, courteous service. Ice cream is not at par with Gelato I have in Sydney. The only ice-cream place in orange, they are doing excellent job.

One of the best gelato experiences ever! High-quality ingredients, yummy toppings including pretzel and Ferrero. I tried strawberries and cream and salted caramel with pretzels - recommend using a cup for toppings. Amazing flavours! You can test flavours before purchasing. Seating out front and a few seats inside. Generous opening hours - 9 or 10pm depending on the day. I can't wait to come back tomorrow!

Delicious, smooth gelato in a trendy shop. Had a range of flavours. My favourite was the dark chocolate sorbet and choc malt salt. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

When I came in at around 7pm last night , this lady working at the checkouts just chewing gum even while serving customers was really rude, when the brown onions I was going to purchase didn’t have a barcode on it she asked me to go put it back and get a new one without any manners, I would’ve appreciated a please or something but there were no manners involved. Very poor customer service

Excellent fresh produce and reasonable prices. Fruits and vegetables are available in plenty. Dairy and meat products are also in stock. Frozen and refrigerated items are available but appeared a bit costly. Potted plants and flowers are available as well. A number of grocery items are also available. Overall a great one stop shop for fresh produce and daily food consumables.

The lebanese cucumber we purchased this week were rotten and off tasting inside. We wasted $10. Also, we were charged full price for imperfect produce in green bags, rather than the much lower signposted price these were supposed to be. This has happened to us numerous times, and we are learning the hard way that Harris Farm Orange seems to bring in old or substandard fruit and veg and yet charges more than Coles and Woolies for many of their fruit and vegetables! The main drawcard for us is the imperfect fruit and veg (as saves on food waste and is good value),, but getting charged full incorrect price for this and getting old fruit and veg from the rest of the store is seriously putting us off going back after many years of custom. Please do better as we are considering terminating our business with you due to lack of quality, lack of value and incorrect pricing.

Harry Farm Market is my go-to place for fresh and high-quality produce in Orange. The fruits and vegetables are always fresh, full of flavor, and reasonably priced. The staff are friendly, helpful, and make you feel welcome every time you visit. I especially love their locally grown products — you can really taste the difference. Highly recommended for anyone who values fresh, local, and delicious food.

I often drink Martinis. I especially enjoy the nice ones, and I happened to know when the bartender presented the nice (awesome) ones. In Orange where I did not even expect Martini, I was presented with this high-quality Martini with Live music!!! OMG! You must come here to try it if you ever visit Orange. It's a total surprise and magical!

We went there recommended from someone. And we were so glad, we went. The music was great, the drinks were lovely. The service was attentive. We had a great time. We went after dinner and stayed longer than we thought.

What great customer service these ladies have. As out of town customers, my wife wanted a shirt but they didn’t have the size. The Team Arrange to get the shirt in and then sent it by a post to my home address. They rang me twice to advise once when they’ve received the shirt and then when it had been posted with a lovely handwritten note.Exceptional service from a small business in country, New South Wales.

The White Place is always beautifully curated, with each room hosting its own theme, special decor pieces or lounge and bedroom inspiration. Love taking a wonder and exploring any time I’m in Orange A little tight to get around so I never take my kids - but mine a bit rough a tumble 😉

My absolute favourite homewares shop. A must-see when heading to Orange, and if not in Orange you can shop online. The White Place have the most exquisite items - thoughtfully selected, on trend yet always tasteful. Alex and her team are amazing, and the customer service is second to none. I just wish I lived closer so I could visit this beautiful shop all the time.

Crikey! What a great find. This pub's food is fantastic. The menu has variety and covers most dietary requirements. There are fish dishes, meat dishes, vegan options and even serves pie and mash. A dish that I rarely see on menus now. Although I didn't have the latter dish, my mate, who is a pie connoisseur, did dabble and assured me it was worth it. Equally, the lamb dish I tried was a good size and packed full of discernable flavours. The venue was large and had plenty of areas to dine, along with the traditional bar area to drink at. The staff were pleasant and table service was quick. All-in-all The Lord Anson served up a wonderful experience at a reasonable cost.

I like the layout of this pub. The big front bar area is good for groups, but you can also find a nice hideaway spot in one of the nooks off to the side of the main area. The fire places they have going in the little rooms make the place super cosy on cold nights. They have a bistro too. I didn't try the food but the meals looked massive, so there's that. They have plenty of good beers on tap and pools tables too.

The Lord Anson is a nice pub that does a decent schnitty, served with mash and veg (or chips and salad) and your choice of sauce. The schnitzel was a thicker style with a golden crisp crumb, and the old school mash was enjoyable.

Local craft beers (Pioneer, Badlands and Borenore) feature in this updated country pub. Classic menu items of schnitty, bangers and burgers sit alongside more upmarket fare such as carameliswd cauliflower risotto, and baked salmon. Friendly staff and great service.

Great local find when travelling through, great craft beer list, and varied menu with good tasting food - and plenty of TVs to watch sport and music on anthems for a good ambience. the team on Easter Sunday were great! Thanks guys

Hidden gem inside a diamond. Food was perfect for a casual night out with great drinks. Zucchini flowers were unmissable! Brenda’s service was incredible and cannot wait to come back every week.

As someone who helped build The Blind Pig into a thriving venue, it’s heartbreaking to see the state it’s in now. When I was involved, the focus was on creating a safe, vibrant space for the community — especially the LGBTQI+ crowd. We worked hard to keep the place clean, staff paid, and entertainment consistent. When I stepped back, I had hoped the momentum would continue. But since I left, things have completely fallen apart. Drinks are now being served with mouldy fruit, fridges are disgusting, and basic hygiene has gone out the window. On top of that, the current owner owes money to suppliers, staff, and other local businesses, with multiple complaints reportedly made to Fair Work and council. The Blind Pig had potential to be something truly special — now it’s just a mess. I wouldn’t recommend anyone support it in its current state. The community deserves better.

If you are ever in orange and needing an LGBTQIA+ friendly place to get out and have fun. Look no further than this place. Amazing welcoming atmosphere. Great staff. Incredible cocktails. Live music, drag nights, trivia, karaoke! It’s the place to be!

Only passed by while the music was playing. Sounded like a place with a good atmosphere and a great little concept. Kitchen soon to reopen, so will be back for a visit on my next trip west of Sydney.

The only place in Orange where all people are accepted in a friendly environment. LGBTQ to straight, you will find that everyone accepts each other. Great cocktails, Great music, a great Staff. Highly recommend this venue as a must.

Best place to have a party. Fiona, Pauline and Steve are great hosts, make everything so easy. It’s also a great place to just have a quiet drink and taste the best burgers in town. Highly recommend!

Dog friendly. Penny could go off lead and run about. They are very friendly with Dogs. The two ladies that run it are super friendly and has a lovely atmosphere there. Food was great pub grub food. At reasonable price. Thank you so much for having us. We will be back for sure when we are town next.

We had such a great experience at the CROWN! The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed, with a real family-friendly vibe. Fi, Steve and Pauline are so warm and inviting – they make you feel like part of the family the moment you walk through the door. The staff were attentive and friendly, and the food was hearty and delicious – generous portions, great pub classics, and something for everyone on the menu. It’s clear this is a place run with genuine care for their customers and community. A perfect spot for a casual meal, a drink with friends, or bringing the whole family along. Highly recommend!

This pub is an absolute gem of Orange. Traditional feel, great team (Fi, Pauline and Steve) made us feel incredibly welcome. Food is good and selection of drinks is the best in town. Be sure to call in! Dogs are a bonus too.

We stopped in after 6 hours drive with 3 dogs and the staff are wonderful very accommodating for the fur babies, there allowed inside and outside so if it's raining this is the place to take Ur pooches. Meals are nice too

We have had two private functions at this amazing venue and we can not say enough good things about this venue. They have gone over and beyond for us and always doing it with a great smiles. Can not recommend them enough

One of the best pubs in orange! Can never go wrong with wood fire pizzas, few local reds, a craft beer or 2 and possible the best music playlist I’ve heard in a pub! Check it out 🍻
