It was not my plan, I visited this pub in passing. A very good and quality selection of beer. I didn't try the food, maybe another time. I was bothered by the high temperature here. I don't know why, it was really hot. The wall of mugs is impressive.

Great spot right in the heart of Kraków for anyone who loves good beer! 🍺 They have an impressive variety on tap — from local craft brews to international classics — and the atmosphere is relaxed but lively. A fantastic, what appears to be small, bar with an amazing range of beers available. Awesome food choices and well prepared and presented. Good value with beers priced reasonably but great quality. The bar has a basement bar which has its own bar and seating areas. Such a nice place we visited twice.

A truly wide range of craft beers mainly from Poland and Germany. The place is really nice and big, it even has a basement with eight other beers. The food is really good, the staff is friendly and the prices are great. Truly recommended!

Fantastic range of beer to try. The decor was fantastic and I loved the basement bar. Glad you had bar seating too hate taking up a table as a solo traveller. Staff were friendly and offered service on the many cans of beer on offer as well as on draft.

We visited the House of Beer as a walk in at around 9pm and managed to get a table for four. Service is friendly and efficient and there are a dozen beers on off via the board above the bar. The double cloudy Neipa was particularly good. We ordered the rhubarb smash, chilli, Caesar salad and the burrata salad and every dish was excellent.

What a great place with great food and a friendly staff. Well worth a visit. Even if only for a snack and beer. I will probably go back while on my visit to Krakow. I had the pork chop and it was delicious.

Fun bar with truly unique tables that use old singer sewing machines as decor. Staff are efficient and helpful. Place is buzzing in the evening.

We sat here on a sunny but windy day, there seemed to be only one lady serving and working the bars. It felt like a very comfortable place to come get a cold drink or a pint - the atmosphere inside was lively and the tables outside with the sewing machines were extremely unique.

Great bar and great atmosphere with an impressive selection of drinks. It was my favourite bar in all of Kraków, short walk from my hotel in the Jewish quarter. Very easy to make yourself cosy. I couldn't comment on the cakes and snacks as I didn't sample them.

PRL (socialist) style bar with cheap drinks. You come for one or two rounds and move on with your sightseeing or pub crawl. Their lemon and blackcurrant vodkas are nice and popular, worth a try.

Its just ok. There is a reason why the beer is cheap. Its not very nice. Asked for a gin and tonic and it was bad. Also scraping off the foam on a pint with a knife that is left sitting at the bar shouldnt be done. Toilets are terrible also.

Bartender Jacob was incredible, great service from him, made some lovely shots and drinks for us. Very glad we came in here for a drink. He has been very friendly and knowledgeable about his drink making. Very professional. If you pass by and Jacob is here....your in for a treat (drink wise) Highly recommend.

I highly recommend this place for a chill and relaxed experience, all the shots are tasty and the ambience is great. Last night we have met Jacob who was an amazing bartender who crafted us some of his signature drinks and gave us splendid recommendations! Thank you so much Jacob!

Out of my many experiences in Poland, this bar is a winner. Fantastic service. Fantastic drinks, great people. Ola is a master of her craft and she made sure we had a great time. I highly recommend!

For sure one of the best bars in Krakow to take a drink. Not so big but for sure friendly. Prices are pretty low, especially for a place in the old town. One of the things you have to visit in Krakow!

Old socialist themed pub. Unfortunately the service we received was absolutely terrible. The two young ladies working there were more interested in their phones or staring at their fake nails. Most of the time they were hiding in the backroom while customers were waiting for drinks. The other waitress was arrogant and rude. Makes me wonder why they work there if they clearly hate their job? It's a pity to leave such a bad review, as I like their concept and the place seemed like a nice spot to have few beers and shots with your friends.

Exceptional Food & Warm Hospitality We shared appetizers of sheep cheese and dumplings — easily the best bites of food we’ve had on this trip. The wine was excellent, and the duck on the tray was outstanding. The staff were incredibly friendly, warm, and offered great suggestions. A must-visit for amazing food and genuine hospitality.

I found this restaurant online by chance, not knowing what to expect. I only saw that it had good reviews, so we gave it a chance. The food was great. We had the traditional Polish soup, smoked goose, and dumplings for appetizers and the pork knuckle and duck confit. Everything was good, but we were talking about the pork knuckle for a few days after, wishing we had time to go back and have it again. It was crispy on the outside and juicy tender on the inside. It’s one of the best I’ve had.

My family have multiple allergies and so far we have eaten here for three days running. They couldn't be more helpful in what meals are safe and how things can be adapted to suit our needs. The staff are lovely and the food is to die for.

There is very little gluten-free food in Krakow. Finding this place was a godsend. My boys are celiac. We're not. However, there are plenty of options for everyone. Lovely food, great service.

We have eaten pork knuckle in many places, but this one was the best by far! It was even gluten free and super crispy. The staff speaks very good English and was very kind. Very clean and spacious restaurant. If you want gluten free food (and beer) and good service, I highly recommend you visiting this restaurant. Cheers!

Amazing restaurant in the city center of Krakow. Local food with good options, even for celiacs and other intolerances. The service was fantastic and professional and the atmosphere and decoration of the place also nice. The soup and the pork belly are really good options. I recommend it and will repeat in my next trip to Thai city.

Probably the best meal we had in our 2 weeks here in Europe. The chicken dish was amazing, the old fashioned was spot on, and the dumplings were perfect. In the main square, it’s a must for lunch or dinner!

Absolutely loved the vibes here. Came here twice and the food was absolutely delicious. Fantastic spot for people watching as well, strong recommend!! Got to listen to the trumpet man in the tower and see him from this location while I enjoyed dinner with my partner; and there were some cute little bumblebees in the flowers, too!

Note: My rating is based solely on the experience during the Champions League Final event. I can’t speak for the usual atmosphere, which I imagine is much better. I ordered a cheeseburger — the meat wasn’t juicy and the bun felt a bit dry, but I genuinely liked the flavor of the patty. Overall, it wasn’t a bad burger. The beers were decent too. Now to the most unexpected part: we chose this place to watch the Champions League Final, not knowing they’d play karaoke instead of the actual game sound :) Most people were clearly there for football, but to be fair, some folks did seem to enjoy the karaoke as well. Not gonna lie!

Went to this place whilst on holiday in krakow. we had dinner and drinks one evening followed by breakfast the next morning. Staff working were fantastic and so friendly. Food was also pretty good and reasonably prices. A great view of centre if you have an outside table too.

We were sat on small, low down cubed chairs that were difficult to get up from. We received our starters which were massive portions and then got our mains not long after (before finishing our starter). The food was good and plenty of it. The toilets can be found at the bottom of a tall, narrow spiral staircase. They weren’t very clean and the doors either wouldn’t shut completely or didn’t have locks.

The blonde lady who served us was disgustingly rude, we were told by another member of staff we could move tables as we had a couple members of our party who turned up later for drinks with us. When we tried to order more drinks the lady came out and lectured us rudely saying we couldn’t move tables and then tried to accuse us of lying when we told her another member of staff had said it was fine. She then refused to serve us and essentially forced us out of the bar, but not before she rudely told us she would bring our bill over when she was ready. We ended up leaving and finding a much nicer bar to drink at which was cheaper and the customer service was far better! I wouldn’t come back here again.

Food isn't the cheapest, but very tasty and plentiful. It was very windy when we were there so chose to sit in the basement which probably had more history than most of the attractions!

The blonde waitress is painfully and disgustingly rude. We sat at a table that hasn’t been cleaned (it had three glasses on it) because it was between two heaters. She came out yelling CAN I CLEAN even when we tried to explain why we sat there. Prices aren’t fantastic either. It’s nice because of the view but everything else a big zero.

Had a lot of expectations for this place so it was a bit disappointing. The decour and atmosphere were nice but in the evening quite dark. The toilet has a door with brick wall behind it (cool). Beer was ok but pricey, the pour could have been better. It was also very loud due to noisy guests.

Lovely little restaurant in the Jewish quarter in Krakow. The service was great. We enjoyed the food although found the flavours to be either slightly lacking something or a little too intense - but that could just be that our taste buds weren't used to the flavours.

Not sure what to say about this place. Bar service seemed slow with a large orderly qué. It seemed chilled but tbh the candles and lack of electric light made it look more like a power cut than the desired bohemian atmosphere they are going for. Had one drink and moved on.

Great eggs Benedict- very tasty. Comfortable seating with plugs under tables, if you need to charge your phone 🎉

I popped in here mid afternoon so not a busy period. A basic drinking den which has good options. One of the cheaper bars in Krakow, I liked a lot just for chilling out for a while.

Really friendly service and the bar has a really good vibe. BaniaLuka is a lively and friendly bar with a wide range of beers, cocktails and shots. Prices are excellent and the decor and interior is interesting. The beers are all excellent and you can buy it by the large glass or in a 1.5l jug. The IPA and wheat beer are excellent.

Great atmosphere, quick service, affordable, and the liqueurs are really tasty. I like it even more than the one on Shevskaya and others. Baniluka is a really nice spot. I even bumped into my birthday there by chance because we realized it was already midnight. Everything was perfect 😅💣💯

Great little Bar with good choices and prices that suits all needs. Two streets back from the main square, you can have a drink a a third of the price but still have a nice seat outside with a nice view of the local square.

We visited during the day as a couple and had a few drinks/shots/nachos and all of them were enjoyable and fairly priced. The venue was quiet with a bit of a lackluster environment but to be expected mid-day! The staff were all friendly and helpful and accommodated us in English which was appreciated.

Very nice bar with classic polish menu (sledz, tatar, pierogi and more), choice of different tap beers (Tyskie, Kozel, different types of Zywiec), and old school vibes. I recommend it over PWiP franchise, which stopped serving polish cuisine, and is way less comfortable inside.

Great selection of shots, didn't try anything else but at just 7pln a shot it's a great price. Service was good and we didn't stop smiling and laughing and drinking until the early hours of the morning. Highly recommend

Great beer, I especially enjoyed the lager. Delicious food: balanced, tasty, well-cooked, interesting and well composed tastes and textures. The food came fast and was impeccable (I had pork cheeks, and my husband had pork belly). Lovely service (greetings for Miss Magdalena and Natalia!): swift, smiling and very helpful. Definitely recommend! I am using every chance that I get to come back.

A trendy brewery/restaurant in a style that has become in vogue lately. Located in a new, gated apartment complex, which detracts from any charm that the place might aspire to have. Beer is good, not the greatest, but good. Food on the other hand is very hit or miss. Prices are on the high side, in keeping with the aesthetic.

They accept Amex (American Express) Cards! Beware, their kitchen closes at 9.30 for food. Drinks are open till late. Very close to the main station is Krakow. Their beer is excellent to taste and you can chug a whole litre with ease. The burgers were splendid. You can also buy beer from them.

Disappointed. We were told that the nice, underground part you can see on some photos is closed during the season? Why? Instead you can stay in the upper part which is a bit seedy, just very basic and uninviting. The beer is okay but not impressive for craft brewery standard. Better to go elsewhere.

The Wheat Beer and APA are brewed as per standard. The risotto was tasty. Bottom line: good beer, tasty food, nothing exceptional. The venue is below ground in a large and tastefully decorated hall. Wifi available.

This is a graffiti covered, punk rock themed bar in Krakow’s jewish district. Had a relaxed Monday afternoon beer here while listening to punk rock music played throughout the bar. There’s also a basement room designated for smoking. Cool spot!

Like they act like they would care about the bourgeois and facile Google reviews but thyre getting a good one from this ex punk! Nice vibes, packed when entered. Grungy, dark, heavy music, friendly with the best toilet. What else is there?

Cool, punk rock themed spot. Friendly staff, great music, I appreciate WiFi as well. Draught beers "Holba" and "dark Litovel" we had there did not taste good and we only drunk them because we paid for them but yuck. Pity there is no more options on a pipe.

Dingy, dark and perfect. A great Little Rock/alternative pub that has so much character. Small drinks menu but the music is great and it’s something you have to see.

Sick vibe, very nice atmosphere with punk music, beers and lots of stickers on the walls that tell their own story. If you go, order Mad Dog shots ;)

One of the places you don’t expect much from but they turn out to be surprisingly good. I love the service here because the waitresses took care of us really well making sure we are comfortable and happy with our time there. They have excessive knowledge of wines and will be happy to help with choosing. The atmosphere is very warm, cozy and chilled so it’s a perfect place to have a glass of wine after a long long day.

We went to this bar to have some wine and we came immediately returned the day after. The host was so friendly and helpful and shared his knowledge (which was a lot!) with us. He recommended us a wine, based on what we asked/told him, and it was spot on. Even one of the best I've ever had! The atmosphere inside is so cosy and it feels like home. Absolutely rude waiter who is a racist and behaves like we came to his house and ask for food and wine for free. Absolutely inappropriate comments, blaming behavior. It is very sad because the choice of wine was good and the ladies working there are also kind. Don’t recommend to visit the place if you don’t want to be harassed!

This is probably my fave bar in Krakov. Unpretentious, and quite obviously standard-polish. Normal polish prices too! Seek it out!!!!

I went to this pub because it was just right in front of my hostel in Krakow and I was very surprised. Nice and friendly environment and huge variety of polish drinks and beers. My favorite one was the Soplica. Prices are fair and the staff is friendly. It is usually crowded since the afternoon, but I never waited more than 10 minutes to find a table. I definitely recommend this cozy pub.

Good beer at medium price. Could be cheaper. Although bar is not too crowded, it's very spacious, so bigger group can easily fit. Surely will come back :)

What a cool local bar. It has a great atmosphere. Cheap drinks and food. Definitely gives a local feel, we were the only foreigners there. We ended up going to this bar almost everyday of our time in Krakow.

Very cheap beer (4PLN), worth a visit when its quiet! Avoid the busy times which can attract Stag parties. However last time I was in there (mid day, mid week), the music was terrible and loud, and the place was freezing so we didn't stay long. Shame, as one of the previous times we went it was far better.

The choice of beer is close to zero compared to Czech beers. Stuff is nice, but really do not care about clients. If thay are smoking, all desk is closed, even if they see you waiting for.

As the Google description indicated “great cocktails”, I went in asking for a cocktail. The very rude bartender then told me “we only have beer and vodka”. I then asked for a vodka and a water for my fiancé, the bartender then proceeded to tell me they don’t offer water....avoid if possible

Great little vintage coffee shop to sit and take in the city. Has a very eclectic vibe with different types of vintage furniture and art work. Stopped in for a coffee as I wondered around town, they had oat milk options for the vegans. The server was very friendly, and even though an extremely large bachelor party came in to order beers he made my coffee quickly and even apologized I had to wait a minute.

Walked by, saw absinth based cocktails being advertised, had to stop! A clear standout in quality of the cocktails. If you want to see what you can do to highlight absinth as a main liquor in a drink, they got you covered. Huge menu, knowledgeable staff, great anesthetic and atmosphere.

This bar is all about vibes. The girl working there is one of the sweetest, friendliest bartenders I've met in a long time. The decor is very bohemian traditional vintage. Like you've stepped back in time a little and suits the popular idea of absinthe parlours very well. The atmosphere was relaxed and quiet, a good place for a calm nightcap before heading home. I would guess it's quite busier earlier in the evening as it sells all the gimmicky flaming absinthe shots and other touristic things. From the guest book, you can read all the places in the world that visitors come from. It's pretty cute. Now, if you actually are an absinthe geek like myself, you won't find any genuine absinthes so while you can do the water fountain method, it likely won't be truly authentic. You definitely can do the fireball way. With even a small proper selection of expensive and authentic absinthes, this place could be perfect. I settled for an absinthe sour (which is likely just a green anise-flavoured vodka sour), and it wasn't bad for a sour. It was well made. They also have beer, so you don't have to only have absinthe. There were some older guys there having beer and a good time as well. But really, what made this place stand out was the service from Cornelia! She made our night.

Incredible space and ambience, fantastic selection of drinks and great service. The server was creating some pretty awesome cocktails, was helpful and knowledgeable. The decor inside is really charming. And fun fact, they have some great dessert options and fresh cake.

I was here on my last night in Krakow and feel bad that I didn't find this place earlier. Good old rock hits from the 80's and 90's and this lovely person Sofi (?) behind the counter served me a very good white chocolate flavored vodka. Thank you! I totally recommend this place 😊

Had a phenomenal time here, the gent that served us was a pleasure throughout, helped us with our ordering, gave us options and recommendations. Atmosphere was lovely, a really chilled place to have a drink. Can't reccomend it enough.

Around 25 drinks on tap, mostly beers. The options are therefore huge. The beer was good, the price was so and so. Interior seating was probably better than exterior here .

The one spot for nightclub partying in Crakow. The music was good until about 3am. A lot of sweaty locals playing king, but the vibe is generally a good one. Two stars goes away since we couldnt get our prepaid table due to not being there before 23. The one we booked was never used throughout the night, and the table guy seemed really satisfied about it too. Go here but no need for VIP service.

They didn’t let me in just because I’m Latino. The security guy – who probably doesn’t even have a high school diploma – told me I couldn’t enter wearing a hoodie, even though I saw people before and after me going in with the exact same outfit. Not even wearing a jacket like he claimed. If you’re Latino there, you’re not welcome. In the photo, the guy in the black hoodie got in easily – of course, he wasn’t Latino. Typical. Cheap and very busy. Not enough staff and the ones they have totally ignore anyone not stood directly in front of them. I literally had to stand up from my bar stool and queue 2 meters further down.

My brother and I scored a great lunch here two days in a row. The Sauerkraut stew was a dish that I didn't know I needed in my life. 😋🍲 I also got the sour soup (with egg and sausage) and potato + cheese pierogis 🥟 yesterday. Super affordable and great eating.

There were 4 of us. We sat down at a table and waited 1 hour for someone to ask us what to order. In the end a waitress arrived who separated with contempt the two tables at which we were sitting saying: "I want these tables to be separated". I kindly pointed out that there were four of us and she replied: "I don't give a damn". I asked the reason and she with the arrogance that doesn't suit a maid said: "I don't come to your house to move the furniture". We got up and left. We didn't enter anyone's house, we were sitting in a pub, which was not owned by the maid. We had gone in to get a drink BY PAYING money. The place in general is mid. I don't know if the waitress has personal problems that she dumps on her clients at work but frankly it's none of our business. Worst place ever visited

If you're into nightclubs with a young, hedonistic demographic then this is the place for you. Not my scene but each to their own, and the service was good. No issues with product quality

We visited this club expecting a good night out, but what we experienced was honestly disturbing and unsafe. From the moment we walked in, the place was overcrowded with what looked like intoxicated teenagers. Many of them behaved aggressively — jumping on each other, dancing violently, and eventually even getting into fights. One person kept jumping on my friend, and we later noticed this same guy hanging around with different groups throughout the night, which made us suspect he might actually work at the club or be somehow affiliated with it. Even worse, there seems to be some kind of scam operating at the bar. A guy approached us offering “free drinks,” but when he tried to order them at the bar, the bartenders actually stopped him and told him not to. It looked like they realized we were sober enough to catch on, unlike some other guests. From what we gathered, people are lured with promises of free drinks, only to be later hit with an inflated bill — sometimes even double or triple the normal price. Overall, the atmosphere was chaotic, sketchy, and definitely not safe. If you’re looking for a fun and trustworthy place to party, I’d recommend avoiding this club altogether. There are much better and more transparent venues in the city.

Absolutely horrible. While leaving the club me an two of my friends got pepper sprayed. We were not violent had done nothing wrong where leaving the club of our own accord and the bouncer just pepper sprayed us. It was the worst experience of our life we still do not understand what we did and no other staff at the place tried to help us as we were blind. NEVER go here

!!!!PEPPER SPRAY!!!!!! I was attacked by an unknown person that was seen to just be on their own, so probably staff. As my girlfriend and her sister tried to assist me during this attack, male security guards have punched my girlfriend and her little sister (18+20) and pepper sprayed us all. Small petite girls and ‘big grown men’ felt they had to use pepper spray on them. It’s a total embarrassment and disgusting behaviour. They were dragging my girlfriend around the floor whilst I was sprayed and in a headlock. If the local girls who helped my girlfriend when she was being dragged around see this review, I cannot thank you enough for stepping in to help her and get security off her. I deeply appreciate you stepping in and not leaving her, and you were even pepper sprayed because of this. This seems to be a regular thing at this club if you look at previous reviews. Since we all wrote reviews regarding our experience they seem to have run one of their regular promos after a night of bad reviews, to cover them up they offer a free drink for a 5 star review. All in all myself and 4 females attacked and pepper sprayed in the space of a few minutes. I urge you please do not visit this venue for your own sake, security are menaces to society.

There are delicious cocktails and great music, but the place is a bit small. It's very likely to get crowded when the crowd can't be controlled.

This is the worst club I have ever been to and honestly needs to be shut down. The bouncers are cruel and pepper sprayed both myself and another young girl despite neither of us expressing any violence or aggression towards them. Even though I was screaming in pain, the staff refused to help and an ambulance had to be called due to the severity of the spray. Overall a homophobic, dangerous place to visit. The attitudes of the staff at this club are disgusting.

A great karaoke bar, once it fills it's gonna be great vibes. Even if you're not polish you'll have a good time. Just don't show up too early, get there by 10/10:30 when customers start arriving

Chaotic place and rude staff, it ruined our good mood. The bartender brought us the wrong beer, and another one tried to gaslight me into thinking it was my mistake. Then we went to the karaoke and were asked to move, and they said we could sit in the smoking area if we wanted (why?) So we moved to the bar, but when we set a beer down, the bartender told us off. Overall, it felt like every interaction with the staff (but not just the staff) was unnecessarily authoritarian. Definitely not a friendly place.

-As someone with family in Kraków and a Polish background, it’s disheartening to say that the staff here seem to have resentment toward English-speaking tourists. -I came in last Thursday night, ordered a beverage, and left the bar que. I was chatting with a fellow Canadian I had just met for about 30 minutes before the female bartender came over and told us we couldn’t stand where we were standing. No problem — I moved further to the left and leaned against the bar, trying to stay out of people’s way. -About 20 minutes later, I suddenly felt someone aggressively slam their hand on my shoulder. I turned around, anticipating that I might need to defend myself, to find the heavyset bartender yelling at me, claiming I was shaking the whole bar. -If this were my karaoke club, I would ensure the bar had enough structural integrity not to be shaken by a single patron — especially in such a tight space. And if it did happen, my first course of action certainly wouldn’t be physical assault , especially after directing customers to stand there. -I apologized to the bartender and explained that I had no bad intentions, but physical contact was unnecessary. My friends and I then moved to the very back near the karaoke machine to “stay out of the way,” only to notice several people (clearly locals) standing exactly where we had originally been — without being told to move. -After waiting two hours for our song, we asked the karaoke host how much longer the wait would be. He said about an hour, even though one person had already sung three times during our wait (which, based on other reviews, was no surprise). Shortly after, the female bartender came over for the third time to tell us we couldn’t stand where we were — again 😡. -At that point, it was clear they didn’t want us there. As a last attempt to smooth things over (I never wanted any problems), I tipped 6 złoty on a 14 złoty bill for all of our remaining drinks. The staff simply took the money without a word and waited for us to leave. -If you’re a local, I can see why you might give this place 5 stars. But if you’re an English-speaking tourist, it’s obvious there’s a culture among the staff that they do not welcome tourists — despite being located in a tourist-heavy area. -As a fellow Pole who has visited bars all over the world, it saddens me to write this. Music, singing, and dancing should break down barriers and create an atmosphere of unity. Unfortunately, the staff here seem to create division between locals and tourists.

Read this before you head out for KARAOKE. A "cultural club" - only in name. As a rule, I don't usually leave reviews, but what happens in this place cannot go unnoticed. If you're planning to come for karaoke - I definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND. The principle is simple: when a problem that has been pointed out by numerous guests for years is continuously ignored by the owner, who responds evasively rather than taking meaningful action, it becomes clear that he has no interest in improving the experience or in valuing his customers. This attitude only reinforces the fact that respect for guests is the least of their priorities. What others have written before is unfortunately true - and I strongly advise anyone considering a visit, particularly if you're a foreigner or simply expect fair treatment and respect. As a Pole, I am ashamed that such places operate in the heart of our city. Karaoke should be a fun experience for everyone, not a space where frequent visitors or those who "know how to negotiate ($$)" are allowed to skip the line. In our case - four of us, song requests placed nearly simultaneously. What happened? Some were able to sing their second song after just half an hour (frequent visitors), while others... waited 4 HOURS for their one and only song. The selective treatment of guests by the karaoke host is not only unprofessional - it's downright embarrassing. In Krakow, there are places with karaoke that really understand what fun, a good atmosphere, and respect for guests are all about - Layla Lounge Bar and Klub Pod Jaszczurami are prime examples. These are venues where a friendly atmosphere prevails, and respect and equal treatment are the norm, not the exception. As for the venue itself - it's small, smoky, and the speaker is positioned in such a way that having a conversation becomes really uncomfortable, as you have to practically shout to be heard. The only positive aspect is the bartenders, who manage the bar efficiently. That's unfortunately the only good thing I can say about this place...

100% my kind of place, music was great and DJ happy to take requests we paid 10pln to get it but was well worth it. At the bottom of the stairs you can go left into a small bar or right into the larger bar with dance floor and lots of seating. My one negative is the drink prices for exactly the same thing being different in the smaller area to the large bar. I feel we were over charged in the small bar - the difference was 40-50pln when I asked why the lady behind the bar was super rude. We just stuck to the other larger side where the bar guy was quick, friendly, chatty and just an all round cool person. We met some great people and had a really fun night.

Woohoo!! I loved this Rock club. The 3 zlotys to check your coat was a welcome service. The dance floor is dark and a bit like being at a Seattle Rock club. The bartenders are quick and courteous. Super load music, I was absorbed by the vibe there. I will return.

Fantastic coffee & a chilled atmosphere. What more could you want from a place. Be warned it's not as cheap as other coffee shops but the quality of coffee stands out so that might be worth it for you. At the time of writing two flat whites set us back £7 or 40 Zlotys.

They offer pierogi samples. I got to try 5 different pierogi fillings with the sample order. All delicious and easy way to get into the world of Pierogi!

This restaurant has a casual atmosphere. The interior is cramped. It specializes in pierogi, Polish dumplings. I visited because of the restaurant's reputation for delicious pierogi, but it felt ordinary. Because it's a one-person operation, the food took a long time to arrive.

Decent place with a number of vegetarian pierogies. They do not have a vegetarian sampler and their half portion was pretty big so you end up eating a lot of the same things. The staff was not very friendly. Would recommend for a vegetarian looking for something Polish. Best if you go in a group and try a variety.

Oh my - I made actual noises of pleasure when eating the ones with meat and onion on top. Don't forget the sour cream though! Makes it so much better. Sweet ones with whole cherries inside and sweet sauce were also really nice. Kompot (typical Eastern European homemade berry juice) is also nice. Love that one can choose half a portion and try at least 2 flavours. Believe me, you will be quite full after two half portions. Smell inside not too nice but they have four 2-people tables outside on a beautiful street. Great choice for a non-expensive brunch!

Possibly my favourite bar in Krakow. The service is welcoming and friendly and the beers and cocktails are excellent. The drinks board is lit up on the far wall, as you walk down the steps and there are also other offers around the bar. The entrance is pretty uninspiring, despite this being a clean and cosy bar.

Free Pub honestly made our trip, we were recommended the pub via our neighbours who have been previously. We loved it soo much that we ended up here every night! The bar staff are very easy to talk to, happy to answer any questions whatsoever. There is a smoking room which is perfect when it gets colder and wetter. The drinks are very affordable. We met some great company in the Pub. The cocktails are excellent, a perfect mix of music. Thank you Free Pub and the excellent staff for making our trip! I cannot praise this place enough, we will 100% be back! And apologies for spilling that beer the final night!

We were here on an evening to drink with friends, the atmosphere was nice. The bar works in self serve mode - you order drinks wait for them and then take them to the table. The big room of the bar is for smokers (take it into consideration that it is very hot inside and very smokey). The bar tenders are nice. The beer is the cheapest in Prague (12 zloty for half of pils and 15 for wheat beer). We amount of tables in the smoke free area is limited (only 3 tables). Come early if you wish to catch a good place.

It is what it is. A quirky little bar in the heart of the Jewish quarter, staff speak good English and it's a great spot for people watching day and night. Great selection of drinks and very reasonably priced. We also like the music 80% of the time. Well worth a visit. 🇬🇧👍🇮🇩

Entropia has been our go-to cocktail bar for this trip to Krakow. Wandered in and the excellent bartenders made us welcome, explained everything and introduced us to their range of home flavoured vodkas. Paired with syrups they were remarkable. 2nd time last night and we will return before we leave.

Nice to sit outside with a coffee or beer during the day, cool inside for a vodka or a cocktail, check the price menu!, another bar upstairs late on. Unusual bar furniture.

I really enjoy this place. Location can't be beaten being at the very corner of Place Nowy. They have really good barmans mixing a lot of super interesting shots. It's a good place to stop for one round of something interesting or to hang out for several hours and get barman to mix you different shots. Upstairs is much quieter and less busy, so might be better fit to hang out with friends. Will be back there for sure.

100% tourist scam with proof, I asked a bartender how much for the cheapest double vodka, he said 85zloty, I got my polish mate to ask the SAME bartender the exact same thing, price for him was 55zloty. Additionally, when I came in first they charged £40 for 2 drinks and had deliberately upped the price and chosen an expensive vodka. It’s a scam and tourist trap, they discriminate against foreigners

Tourists are charged 3-4x the normal amount for a drink and the vodka bottles are filled with water. I told the bartender that there is clearly no vodka in the drink and he said “you watched me pour it”, which is a stupid response because you can fill a Grey Goose bottle with water. Many other reviews say that there is no alcohol in the drinks sold to tourists. Additionally, they will automatically charge you in your home currency instead of PLN, without giving you the option for PLN as this costs about 10% more. This place tries to steal as much as possible from you. If you’re going to charge tourists a scam price, you need to also put alcohol in the drink. If you do all this, you also can’t overcharge the customer. You can’t steal three times from a customer - it’s not a smart business practice and banks can ban this establishment from their systems. My bank will refund me and this club will not receive any money.

Don’t bother, not even a 1 star but I can’t put 0. I paid for water and then waited whilst the bar staff messed about with his friend. He didn’t serve me the water then tried to charge me again for it. Didn’t believe me when I said I had just paid for it and was very rude about it. I didn’t have phone service to show him on my phone but he had the receipt in his own hands! I’d avoid this place at all costs. Tourist trap

Terrible! Savagery! They knocked out someone who was allegedly too drunk and aggressive. He was bleeding and visibly hurt on the street and completely helpless. As far as I was told, the bouncers said that the man was threatening them. I find it difficult to believe that 5 bouncers, each the size of a wardrobe, felt threatened by a guy that didn't weigh 60 kilos. So the force was used completely disproportionately. Simply avoid this place. There are better options

One of the numerous clubs in Krakow. In my opinion Frantic is not different from other clubs. The space is nicely decorated with good lighting, and there are several floors with different types of music that can cater to everyones music tastes. The prices are a little bit high.

Paid for entry, and later stepped out with wife for personal reasons. Doormen told us that we are going out to drink alcohol and then come back in and that is not allowed(?). When my wife tried explaining that we do not even drink so he is wrong, doorman sarcastically interrupted and pretended he knows better and he is smart and we are stupid, then he went back to vaping and scrolling on his phone. Extremely sticky and sweaty in there, drinks are 45pln+, music is crappy pop from 5 years ago.

Nice small bar a little off the square. Friendly staff and well made drinks. Cool seating in the windows. Can get very cramped inside on weekends especially if large parties are hanging out. Beer was cold and they did a really good job with cocktails as well. Little bit of seating in the street and just out the door too. Has a nice dive casual feel.

We had a lovely evening sat outside at Barawino. It isn’t table service, you order at the bar, though this is made clear on each table. We were able to find a table without needing a reservation. Wine by the glass selection was very good, with a good selection of Polish wines, amongst more traditional (French, Spanish, Italian) options. Small plates are available to enjoy with your wine. The atmosphere was welcoming and convivial. We would happily recommend it.

This was a nice wine bar where you could try a lot of different wines, we opted for a some red wine and were very happy with the taste of it. The boards we ordered were also pretty good. One thing I would have liked is for the staff to tell you about what is on the charcuterie board, so that you know what kind if cuts and cheeses you get. But other than that we were happy with everything and it was a great place for a romantic dinner.

William Rabbit & Co was hands down the highlight of our trip! Highly recommended for both locals and tourists alike. From the moment you enter (in a very cool, secretive way), to the amazing ambience and super friendly staff—everything was just perfect. Pro tip: If you’re confused about how to get in, just head to the address, ring the bell, and wait for a staff member to escort you into their hidden bar (Shh… keep it a secret, alright?). As for the drinks—we were three people and honestly, we tried almost everything on the menu over the course of two nights. Yes, really! On our second visit, the staff recognized us, treated us to free shots, and even made custom drinks for us. Incredible vibe, amazing cocktails, and truly unforgettable hospitality!

I have to sincerely thank the New York Times for writing about this unique speakeasy in Krakow. I had a great time there and the atmosphere is great. When I went, it wasn't busy at all so it was great to talk with friends or sit and chill while reading a book (some of us are introverts, ok?). The cocktail menu is based off of the four main elements. All the drinks were delicious and creative--some of the best drinks I've ever had. There is also a non-alcoholic choice for each section of the menu if that is your preference. The presentation is wonderful as well, and you can just see the art and creativity that goes into the drinks and the space as a whole. The staff were lovely and I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. If I'm ever back in Krakow in the future, I will have to come back here to see what they are brewing up next.

Saw this speakeasy bar in The New York Times and glad I had the chance to visit. Great atmosphere, very thematic Highly recommend the Feel the Rain cocktail - a little bitter, but if you love coffee, you’ll really enjoy it Overall, a good experience and a nice place to spend the evening

The bar had a unique and pleasant atmosphere, the kind of place where you immediately feel comfortable. The cocktails were excellent, carefully crafted and full of flavor. A special mention goes to Martin, our waiter, who was incredibly kind and attentive, going above and beyond to make the evening even better. Highly recommended!

Great cocktail bar in Krakow - glad we found this thanks to the recommendation of our walking tour guide. Nice Alice in Wonderland theme with a cocktail menu designed around the four elements. Interesting cocktail options although you can also ask them to make your favorites. The staff are very friendly as well. Would definitely recommend!

It's one of the best bars you can visit if you're in Cracow. The spirit selection is vast and includes both internationally praised brands and local specialities. Service is knowledgeable and, if asked kindly, will surely let you taste some spirits before ordering. Their signature cocktail card is well balanced and unique (I never stumbled upon similar drinks). Prices are a tad higher than typical pubs and bars in the city, but it makes it up in the overall quality of service.

However must REALLY shout out the service we had from Adrianna, some of the best we've ever had, and I worked in hospitality for 20 years. She was super friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. A fantastic bar with its own unique style and atmosphere. I've been here twice and have been very impressed both times. It's a great place for a couple or small groups. It's very dark, which creates a special intimate atmosphere. The staff are friendly and the bartenders are attentive. The cocktails are also great and original (but not so much so that they're tiny, tasteless portions for an exorbitant price). It's a great place to bring a date, order a cocktail, and have a conversation in a pleasant atmosphere.

I had mixed feelings cause the waiter was brilliant, very attentive and helpful. My cocktail was tasty. But we ended up with one extra drink in the bill which we didn’t order, and the barmen (or manager - he was older than the others) was acting rude while resolving the issue. His tone of voice was inappropriate (for any situation really) though it wasn’t our mistake. I assumed that was because I was from Ukraine and I tried to communicate in English which he didn’t like.

The sausage plate was very chewy and had some bones pieces and cartilage, the beer is nothing special, i truly don’t understand how they got an award for the best beer in Poland. Pierogi were mediocre. The service is good. Atmosphere nothing special too, with wobbly tables and old leather couches.

Amazing place, very good beer, especially the amber lager, lovely food, great service, kind staff wearing impeccable atmospheric dresses, good value, just off main square, on another quieter square, still in the middle of old town, perfect for any occasion. I cant wait to go back soon again.

After walking around for a bit seeing loads of repeated generic polish food, we stumbled on this restaurant. It offered the promise of German food which seemed interesting. Menu was OK and prices were reasonable. Service could have been slightly better but it wasn't terrible. Now the ribs....my suspicion were raised when they only served one size. When they arrived they had a shiny texture and zero smoke ring. I am utterly convinced they are ribs out of a packet, however whatever my suspicion, the meat fell off the bone and I suppose that's all that matters. Staff were polite and the place was clean. Food was reasonably priced so no issues there. Overall, if you fancy a change from the 'other' food, give this a try you won't be disappointed. Please Note: The salt and pepper condiments are the wrong way round so watch out!

Our experience at Pub Polski was OK!!! After reading good reviews and option to order chicken kabobs, we decided to have our dinner at Pub Polski. They were likely also attached to the restaurant next door. The views were great! When I noticed that other tables had peanuts on their tables, I went back to the reviews to find out that they provide snacks (peanuts or popcorn) if you order drinks! When I asked the waiter why wasn’t I served any snacks inspite of ordering a drink he then offered to bring some!! I did not appreciate this kind of selective treatment! The chicken kabobs turned out to be mediocre - did not feel cooked and there was no flavor either! After we paid the bill, I decided to google translate it to find out they had added a “voluntary tip” and apparently could be taken off if we didn’t warrant it necessary! With so many tourists not able to read the language, why is this “voluntary tip” forcefully added? Especially in our case, I didn’t find the service being that great anyway!

Staff very friendly and attentive. I realised that they have to work under a lot of pressure as some customers don’t respect it at all. I like this chain of bars and normally have a good time. I think this is a one-off, but visiting on a Sunday at 12 there was a fist-fight, lots of very drunk people and broken glass. The staff were trying to contain the situation and it wasn't their fault, but this place gave off Wetherspoons vibes.

Cheap and nice place. The meal (we ordered pierogi) was tasty and the wine (mulled wine) delicious and very helpful to fight the cold. There were only high chairs, which was no so comfortable. There were a lot of differents shots and cocktails. The place has a very good location and the stuff was nice.

As we couldn't get a drink outside we wandered into the restaurant, ordered a drink and finally decided to order. The menu is limited but the quality is great and prices are very competitive. The restaurant has air conditioning which is needed on a warm summer day. Toilets are very clean. Our waitress was very helpful.

That's a really pleasant place with their own beers, huge outside area and when bigger interior. Service is really polite, food is fresh and delicious. The only bad thing I've noticed is really bad smell in one part of the garden which forced me to move somewhere else, it may have been temporary but nonetheless this took away one star.

The food was good, but nothing special, it missed some original taste. The beer quality varied in my view (plum beer was very good). The staff at the bar was very quick, super nice and smiling :) The toilets in the basement looked quite old and did not work well. All in all, a nice evening and the drawbacks can be improved for sure.

I visited 3 nice cocktail bars while in Kraków, and they were all fantastic. Mr. Black was no exception. Hidden up two flights of stairs, service was welcoming, decor was quirky and cool, and the cocktail selection was unique. I would say that the cocktail selection here was lacking a little for my tastes, but I managed to find two that I still enjoyed, one of which I had to drink out of a bowl which was pretty fun. I feel like there's maybe a little scope for lighting to set a better atmosphere still, as ceiling lights are never the best option, but that's my only critique of atmosphere

If you are looking for something different, this is the place to be - a hidden gem with a sophisticated, yet comfortable atmosphere and very good and surprising drinks that you have never had before. When I asked for a flowery, sweet and sour balanced drink I got a fascinating mixture that was so much more than a simple cocktail! A very good experience and definitely a place to come back to - also because of the very friendly owners :)

First night. We sat down in the cellar near to the bar shown in the picture. Had potato cakes/goulash and the sausages. Both very good. Only one member of staff on but she was a whirlwind, polite, efficient and helpful. Also no wait which as we had just flown in and were weary, was helpful too.

For a city with such culinary proficiency, Cracow really had terrible special brew beer... But this place; thanks for saving that part of my trip. A cozy but voluminous bar with many connected rooms, allowing both loud talking groups and our quiet date night. Also it's quite cheap. Great. If you enjoy sweet and light beer, the IPA's are for you. That's not for me, but the sours on the other hand... Oh my god. Best sours I had in a while. We tried around 10 different brews and payed the same in zl per glass. Cheers. Also you can get interesting hot dogs with all kinds of sausages and filling, but they're huge, so order just a little at a time.

LOVED this place. We came to Krakow to drink beer and this was the first place we visited. A HUGE selection of beers, nice staff and a young, hope atmosphere. We chose to drink the smallest amounts and have lots of different beers, so they gave us a flight and it was very reasonable. They take credit cards, which is good. If you want to sit down, reserve a table in advance.

By far the best place that we found for beer in Krakow. Cute little bar right off of Plac Nowy. The bartenders were all very nice and clearly know their beer. They made some great recommendations. The sitting area filled up after about 5, but the crowd wasn't too rowdy. Make sure to check the beers on tap at both bars, since they have different offerings.

Absoloutely loved this place. Stumbled upon it by chance. Staff were lovely, food was immense, and a huge portion. We had spaghetti cabonara. It was honestly the best I've ever had! Atmosphere here is unmatched, there's only one downfall and that's the bar... There's one bar for a multitude of rooms making getting a drink a job when it's rammed like it was for the England game. I got 2 pints at a time for myself and my girlfriend.

Went in as my partner really wanted to see what it's like. It's down in the cellar, the steps are of varying heights and quite steep. It kinda reminded me of a really old man type pub back in England but without the character. It did need a bit of a dust on the glass displayed football tops. The glasses were clean. Service was ok.

My favourite bar in Zakopane. So cosy, warm, and welcoming. The lady behind the bar with blonde hair and glasses is always so friendly and puts everyone at ease. There is always a fire burning and pleasant vibes. We always have the "Tea with Electricity" which is perfect to warm up after a cold day.

The Piano bar is amassing, it's tucked away behind the main tourist street beside a little art gallery. The outdoor seating area is such a cosy colourful relaxed space. The swing seats by the bar are really fun. The staff are very friendly and they have a good selection of beers.

One of my favorite places in Krakow. Regular jazz nights, great service and the best Pilsner Urquell I've been able to find in Poland. They pour it the proper Czech way in three variations. Great cocktails too and more than anything a genuine place to enjoy the independent music experience in a classic Krakow cellar setting. Highly recommended for jazz lovers, beer lovers and anyone who wants to get off the beaten track of the "Polish" things to do when in Krakow.

The jazz bar has talented bands and a great atmosphere. There are two sections – one more relaxed where you can sit and watch through a screen, and another where you’re right there in the room. The bar itself is long with plenty of drink options, and the prices are fair. Simple, good music and a good night out. Not wheelchair accessible due to toilets and initial entrance via think staircase.
