Atmosphere is great in here, good choice of music, bartenders are very friendly and chatty. There is a minimum of 10 francs before card can be used - this is just an excuse to buy two drinks in my opinion! Area is quite central to the rest of the town, Saturdays are busy.

A place to hang out after a long ski session on the Alps of tobleron. Have a beer hang out with a view surrounded by valley's. Best located in the center of the city. And the bartender is quiet a chilled out person.

It's a small bar with big ambitions! Nice atmosphere. chr4.75 for a 330ml beer. Outside, on the terrace, is busy for après ski. The must stops outside exactly at 19:00 due to local laws.

Grizzly’s has that vibe of popping over to your mate’s for a bite and a pint (or two) — only this mate’s cooking up magic in an open kitchen, there’s cracking tunes on, and everyone’s just having a laugh. The food was top notch, the service was spot-on, and the whole place just feels bang on. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Big thanks to Graham, Dido and Adam for making our visit — and our special occasions — one to remember.

Just went here for drinks, so can’t comment of the food. Nice drinks and atmosphere. Switzerland were on the TV playing in the Euros, so a bit of a buzz with the locals but the TV was on a moderate volume so we could hold a conversation at our table. Nice place, would come again.

We had the best experience at this pub in Switzerland. If you get a chance, definitely sit at the bar and watch Graham work his magic in the kitchen. My wife and I celebrated our anniversary here, and it felt like watching poetry in motion as he prepared the dishes. The attention to detail, the care in keeping everything spotless, and the finesse with which he finished each plate was simply amazing. The whole place has such a lively, welcoming vibe — with friendly staff, great beer, and wine that perfectly matched the evening. It’s not just a meal, it’s an experience we’ll always remember. And then hubby had the burger and I had the spring rolls. So. Good. And Charlie. Oh my we love Charlie!! We met Charlie last night when we came by for dinner but they weren’t serving on Mondays. Only nachos. If we had known how incredibly amazing they were…. And Charlie remembered us tonight. I only wish we weren’t leaving tomorrow!! This is the kind of place that we would come back to every night. When we visit Zermatt again, you can bet we will be at Grizzly’s every night!! The food here is unbelievably good. We had a burger that rivals some of the best that I have had. The cottage pie special was utterly delicious! Great atmosphere, exceptional service and great beer! Bonus: they generally show American Football on Sundays if it is of interest.

We always truly enjoy this restaurant. The food is really good, especially the dessert. The atmosphere is really nice especially in good weather. But please renovate your toilet and at least try to keep it clean. It always makes me sad—how can such a good restaurant have such a bad toilet?

Perfect location with a view to the Lugano lake. Service was friendly. The antipasti we got was delicious (perch? tartare with asparagus) and dessert (apple pie with ice cream) was also really good. Main dish was ok - we got the polenta with Moscardini (mini octopus) and the anchovy burrata and bread. I think I just chose a dish I didn't enjoy too much, and the anchovy dish was a bit underwhelming for what it cost. Would come back though to try other dishes on the menu.

The pasta dishes were amazing (our group tasted almost all of them), rightly cooked al dente with tasty sauces and cheese. Atmosphere was great with nice lightening and background music. Its a perfect place for an easy but tasty meal out with friends and family.

Expensive, but simple and tasty food on a lunch visit. Nice surroundings, a bit quieter than the main parts of the town which is welcome. I would recommend a visit if you are in town.

Well located lovely outdoors n indoors dining area next to the park by the lakeside. It's romantic ,it's pretty. The food is very good .fish n chips fresh n crispy. Mushroom risotto. Steak n potatoes so beautifully cooked. Clams spaghetti is good . Wine is excellent. The desserts are also with nice touch . 5 star dining Normal swiss prices. Staff are all attentive ...very happy

Stumbled on this wonderful place as we left the bus from Menaggio, Italy. The place has a fun arty atmosphere, and amazing food (which you'll pay plenty for, given CHF / EUR / USA exchange rates). The cheeseburger special of the house is nothing short of divine - melted Gruyère cheese and caramelized onions similar to a great French onion soup, blanket a perfectly-grilled local Swiss beef patty. Possibly the greatest burger we've ever had!! We were in the mood for minestrone soup, which they didn't have on the menu that day, but they made a custom tomato soup just for us that was delicious! The house wine was terrific as well!

Went here with friends, in the evening, orders of just drinks took a long time to arrive and eating outside was cold since it was in a corridor next to the lake, with some wind and cars flashing you. Some random guy also came here trying to sell us roses. Finally, the order came, I got a hot chocolate (4chf) and it came as a glass of milk with a supermarket powder cocoa I hat to open and mix in myself, which I never saw happen in Italy or other places in Lugano. Your experience might be better ordering something else and staying inside or outside in the summer, but I cannot give a higher score because of this.

Great selection of craft beers with awesome views across the lake . Cozy interior but we chose the seats on the covered patio with better views. Tried a couple of different beers and both were pretty good. Service could be a little friendlier and the tables wiped down between customers.

Been there with a group of 20 football lads and all of us were amazed by the warm reception and the atmosphere. Service swift and more than friendly by the lovely staff and the welcoming and talkative owner(?)/ manager. Super local brews and we were even allowed to choose our own sound which made our stay still more pleasant. Would definitely come back and recommend

Chill place with decent music and average service but sub par, over priced food. Dry tasteless beef burger, chicken burger was just bland goujons, luke warm oversalted fries for 6 quid a pop (& a small handful at that), and a kids burger that was the same size as regular ones but cooked bloody just with no toppings. All for best part of 80 quid without the fries being priced as a separate side was all a bit disappointing. Don’t mind paying money for good food but this isn’t it - 1.8/10

We were a group of 5 and we had the best time, everyone was very friendly and drinks were on our taste. Can't wait to go again someday!

This place "can" be really nice. "But" the outdoor seating in front of the lake view is surrounded by clear plexiglass walls. It is hot and stimy in the hot days because the wind just can go through and the people sitting in the enclosed sections are drenched in heavy cologne and perfume that chokes the living air out of lungs. Fine, on the other side of the restaurant is the outdoor smoking area. We've tried again 5 hours later in the evening, finally no one smokes and we can sit down to order dinner. However, the servers aren't fluent in English and the menu shown to us was "meat balls" in tomato sauce, no pasta dishes available. But eating just meat balls and pizza together it's a bit hard for us. We gave it twice chances in one day, no more and left to other restaurants that have better menu.

Visited the Trinity on Saint Patrick's Day, very nice location and selection of beers and food. Live music is a plus, like in real Irish pubs!

It's a nice place to eat a great piadina (specially the vegetarian one), the coffee it's ok, nothing special, the service, it's not the best and they don't accept cards, only in cash. The piadina with nutella is quite nice but i would prefer ot with much more nutella like italians do. The place is clean and also the bathroom.

The worst service we experienced in Lugano. We wanted a breakfast, but they would ignore us for 20min and when waitress finally arrived, we decided to take a quick coffee as we had to catch the train. Explained that we wanted to pay straight away, as we have to go. Waited another 10min by the counter to pay, while the waitress was just smoking inside the kitchen and telling us to wait a bit... It's just a pity that this kind of place still exists and nothing is done...

The staff, especially the manager, were condescending and unnecessarily rude from the moment we sat down on the terrace. Here’s how the interaction went: The manager asked us in Italian, “Do you want to eat or drink?” I replied in English, “We’d like a coffee and maybe something sweet, if you have?” He snapped back, “Listen, we have EVERYTHING. What do you want?” I asked politely, “Could I see the menu first?” He brought a limited menu with drinks and some panini options—no desserts or sweets. About 10 minutes later, he returned to take our order. I pointed to a poster on display and said, “We’ll have two caffè crema and the dessert in the middle.” His response: “We don’t have that. That picture is from another company—it’s not here. This is a different franchise.” Confused, I asked, “So do you have it or not?” He replied, “No. I told you, I’m the manager of this company. We don’t offer that. I have many branches.” I then asked, “So what sweets do you have?” He glanced at the menu and answered, “We have ice cream—the packaged kind. You want it or not?” I declined and said we’d just have the coffees. We waited over 30 minutes and the coffee never came. No one followed up. The dismissive attitude of the manager and staff made it clear they had no interest in actually serving customers. If you care about service or basic courtesy, I suggest avoiding this place.

The staff tried to scam me and my group twice. Once by charging us for a cocktail that one of them ordered for herself, and the second time by adding two extra beers to the bill, after they'd already been paid for. Be careful!

The service was very very bad. The piadina had to much sauce and almost no cheese, the glass to drink juice was dirty und the behavior of the waitress was unprofessionell. We will never come back again.

We had a rather disappointing experience at Caffè Caruso. After ordering, we waited endlessly for our food to arrive (over 35 minutes) despite repeatedly asking the staff. The complimentary food that was supposed to accompany our aperitifs was eventually brought out almost 20 minutes after the drinks, right towards the end of the aperitivo, which defeated the entire purpose. The piadina we ordered was of good quality, so at least the kitchen delivers on the food itself. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about the service. The staff seemed clueless and disorganised, and when we pointed out the missing aperitivo food, their excuse was that they didn’t know where the plates to serve it on were. It’s baffling that such a basic part of service could be mishandled so badly. Overall, nice ingredients but very poor service coordination. Hopefully, they can improve on the organisational side.

Cocktails are mostly classics with some minor variations, some were good, some a little too sweet, but on average good. Simple but nice food choice during the day - pinsa, panini and such. Pinsa was good. Nice atmosphere and location, great place to chill on a sunny day.

The food is the weak point: 26chf for a mozzarella from a box, and prosciutto crudo from a box is nuts. For this price, I would expect fresh products, not industrially packaged. Giving 3 ⭐️ because the service and the location are great!

The best on the piazza for a casual drink and simple but delicious bar bites… We are locals and this wonderful spot is our favorite place to come for a refreshing drink and a chance to sit back and enjoy the scenery of beautiful Lago Maggiore & the special ambiance of Ascona’s piazza. The music is fabulous (great rock classics) and the service always friendly, relaxed and professional - (thank you Samantha & Federica!) Don’t forget to try the freshly made warm & delicious focaccia - absolute heaven.

This place is amazing. We saw it when we realized we would have an hour to spend before our bus came, and since it was right by the station, we stopped by. As soon as we entered, we were greeted and once we spoke English, so did the person who works here. We were able to order easily, and while we ate and drank, I noticed a few amazing things about the place. 1. They keep this place spotless, while retaining the dim-lighting comforting and beautiful aesthetic that they have going. 2. Amazing music that is great for background sounds. They had it at the perfect level and it really made the whole experience perfect for me. 3. Friendly, approachable staff. They were so nice, especially the lady that greeted us. We didn’t get to interact with the others much. 10/10 for this place if it was rated out of 10. Definitely visit this place!

The experience was ok - On the day we arrived we went to terrace and waited so long to be served (after asking three times for a menu) that we got up and left without ordering. The room was small. The entrance was a bit dated, and not really what I expect from a five star hotel . The shuttle bus was super handy and convenient.

Everything was spectacular, the staff, the hotel and the treatment were phenomenal, highly recommended.

Gave a 5 star rating for room as mine was one of the bigger rooms, with two sets it French windows, directly overlooking the bar at level 1. Super hip hotel, and the reception is always super helpful and beaming with energy. A strong positive in my view. The hotel car service is amazing and always available on demand. The drivers are always helpful and service standard is too notch. One downside though - the rooms are located right above the bar and club. So it means you have to be ok with the constant pounding of latest billboard hits from the bar and club. The sound proofing is ok and blocks out about 60pct of the sound, and the hotel do provide ear plugs. Food at the hotel restaurant - South, is OK - they serves mostly Asian fusion food. Not fantastic but not too bad. Other than that, it's a solid hotel if you are going skiing at Verbier.

The place looks very tacky, it's uncomfortable to eat at those small tables, plus the sushi is one of the worst I had. The rice was off, the sushi rolls have some crazy ingredients like an apple and potato chip (!) or jalapeno - I understand fusion but come on, you cannot put anything in there and pretend it's art. Even the drinks were so so. If you want good sushi and a classy place - go across the street. The only good thing about this place was the service - our waitress was very attentive and super nice.

Great place to stay in Locarno on a budget. Central location, clean and cozy. Lively bar open up to 2am (so uncommon in CH). Rooms spread over 3 floors above the bar, for a quieter night, ask for rooms 10 or 11 (on 3rd floor).

Pavarotti Wine Bar is an institution in St. Moritz. There is always something going on here, and the selection of wines is sensational. It’s a fantastic spot for a fun evening with fellow wine lovers — the lively atmosphere guarantees a great time. If you are looking for a quiet evening for two, it might be a bit too loud. But for everyone else, it’s highly recommended. I always pair my wine with a delicious, freshly cooked pasta dish ... the perfect combination! See you there :)

Unique small wine bar and restaurant in a way like tapas bar, really funky place. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed, but also vibrant. Great and easy going bar in the centre of St. Moritz, offering little dished in case you want more than just something to drink.

First time there since it has been refashioned. Service was very courteous. I only had a coffee and my wife a mineral water so can't say much yet. Still it looks like a good place.

Whenever i visit Nendaz, that's the place i get my Raclette cheese. It's not very large store, but as for raclette cheese, they've got so many different and always tasty cheese-variations. Also, the prices are very reasonable. I feel like I don't pay more compared to the large swiss supermarket chains.

Very unpleasant staff and not welcoming at all. It is the third time I go and they refuse or give me objections to cut Viande Segée. Last time they finally did it after insisting and they gave me a really bad quality Viand Segée. Cheese foundue is nothing special.

Very nice atmosphere, the staff were kind and friendly, they gave me some change for the parking meter and arranged a table for us in no time. It has a bit of a romantic tone, with dim lights. We found it was warm despite the rain outside. We had the waffle and some hot chocolate. The toilets are clean and the beer selection is good.
