A really nice pub where to go! To be honest the view from the balcony - rooftop is good but not super good, means you have a cool view but you will not see your better sun set or sunrise there ! Talking about the drinks, it is really good, the service is nice, the price is more expensive than other pub (mostly conditioned by the quality of the service and the rooftop)! I did not try the food but it is probably the same. So I would say if you wish to have a view just go, the service is high quality for the price. If not than you might choose another option 😊

High end bar and restaurant. Drinks were great. Steak was good and cooked perfectly. The place sits atop the casino and has wonderful views. Only issue was the price - in a town known for being expensive... it was very much so.

Nice place for dinner amazing filet and everyone's dinner was great!!! We all loved the live music and breathtaking views of the city skyline, everything about this place was classy. This was rated in the top 5 roof top lounges in Switzerland I would have to say they did live up to the hype. The waitstaff offered excellent service, I would definitely recommend!!

One of the classic posh bars and restaurants of Zurich. The setting is nice and the service is also excellent. The cocktails are great normal Zurich prices. The food is a little bit overpriced, but the service and the atmosphere make up for it. Definetely make a reservation cause it gets quite crowded.

The main plus is the view of Zurich from the 35th floor - really impressive. Easy to get a reservation and wasn't too crowded when we went. Ordered iced tea but couldn't taste any actual tea - more like fruit punch. Had a smash burger with fries. Fries were good, but the bottom bun was dry. First bite seemed juicy but got worse toward the middle. Pretty average overall. Despite the fancy atmosphere, the food doesn't match the luxury vibe they're going for. Annoying that the waiter asked about the bill amount (hinting at rounding up for tip) and then asked about tip again. Found this pushy approach off-putting. Worth going once for the view. Probably better to just get cocktails, but keep in mind they'll seat you in the bar area where you won't get the same window views.

Emily is hands down the best server. Dirk is phenomenal chef. Georg outstanding manager who really knew how to set the tone. Every bite of every dish was incredible. My absolute favorite was the truffle gnocchi. However, the oysters were out of this world w the sauces it was served with. Than the salmon sashimi was impeccable. Then the fresh bread with this cherry balsamic from Germany and oil from Greece was TOOOO GOOD!!! Finally the flank steak with the chimichurri sauce was melting in my mouth. COME HERE TO ENJOY THE LIFE U DESERVE AND TO EAT AND FEEL LIKE A KING OR QUEEN

Clouds Restaurant is one of the best dining spots in Zurich, located in the city’s tallest building, Prime Tower. The breathtaking views from the restaurant make the experience truly special. The food is equally impressive, especially the tartare and steak, which were both delicious and of high quality. The service was quick, professional, and the overall atmosphere was clean and well-organized. Since the restaurant can get quite busy, I highly recommend making a reservation in advance. If you’re looking for a unique dining experience with an incredible view, Clouds Restaurant is a must-visit!

We had drinks at the bar. The view from the highest tower in Zurich was so stunning. I watched the city lights and enjoyed the drink with my friends. Such a nice evening spending time there.

The reception team that takes your coat was very nice. When we arrived upstairs there was a queue. As the place was not crowded at all we passed by the people to check out the situation thinking that it might be a group of oeople waiting for someone. We were happy to find a perfect table with a fantastic view. Very shortly later the waiter came and told us arrogantly that we need ti queue up. Turning around I saw another two unoccupied chairs at the bar. On the way out I went to the server and asked him why he doesn’t make the people who are waiting have a seat. The free seats and waiting people made me confused. The waiter snapped at me how many free sitting areas I saw. I told hin two so far. As a consequence the waiter called me arrogant. Arrogant I assume is to make people wait in line whereas there is space to sit down. I will never again go to Cloud Bar.

Stopped by this bar recently and tried one of their drinks. It was really good and super refreshing. Not too sweet, with a nice balance of flavors that actually made it feel like a proper drink. The staff were super friendly and made me feel right at home, and the vibe of the place was just perfect—relaxed, stylish, and welcoming. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to.

We were fortunate to get seats without reservations on a Thursday evening. We came to get drinks after dinner. Live music was really great! Loved the vibes of the bar. Prices are high, as expected for Zurich. My husband tried the Swiss whiskey flight, but he didn’t really like any of them. We would probably recommend trying some of the non Swiss whiskey. I loved my cocktail. Would definitely recommend and return again.

This was a dream come true. We stumbled upon this cozy, beautiful bar on a Sunday evening and came in for dinner. We were able to get a table for two right away. Enjoyed a burger, soup and Caesar. Very friendly waiters. Loved seeing the beams from the 1300s. So much history right here. Stop in and you’ll enjoy it.

I love their signature cocktail Citrus Love and Basil Smash. Overall a very nice neighborhood bar with intimate vibe. Have a lot of memories here. They have outdoor seating as well that is really nice on a warm summer day.

Nice aperitivo bar! The Hugo and Aperol were very good. They have also a lot of other original options in the menu, I would be interested in trying them next time. The service is kind!

Probably one of the worst experiences in ZRH: Service: 0/5: 30min waiting time for 2 cocktails, w/o being crowded. Rude staff! Especially the greek waitress! Cocktails: 3/5: average (if you want to stay positive) Atmosphere: 0/5 Avoid! 1* is euphymism!

The drinks were ok, music was nice but the service was problematic. The first waiter was ok, polite, but we had to wait for more than half an hour for two coctails and another half an hour for the rest of the table's order which was a matter of the barmen efficiency. Two friends who wanted to leave early asked to cancel their drinks cause it was taking extremely long, and the waiter denied saying they were preparing them at the moment but we could see the barmen doing something else and it took another 10 minutes to have them ready. Up to this point, we could say it was not their best day, and definitely, we did not have a great time. The cherry on top, however, was the waitress who came for the payment. We asked to pay separately and she got annoyed and super rude, ended up yelling about having too much work and not wanting to argue and left when one of our friends told her very nicely that our experience was not that great. Most unprofessional behavior I witnessed in a long time..only thing we could do was laugh to this mess and leave..

Great cocktail bar, standard swiss prices (16-20 CHF per drink), staff are really friendly and no special request too difficult to make! If you're going in the evening, definitely book seats.

This is the second michelin restaurant we have ever been to although we are foodies. I was honestly underwhelmed. I understand that they specialize in traditional food from switzerland and the roesti in particular was delicious but for michelin food and michelin prices, I suppose I was expecting something more unique. I also ordered a dish from the seasonal menu which I felt was a bit bland. In addition, the presentation of the food didnt feel special. 2 of the dishes were brought to the table/heater next to us and scooped into a plate next to us which did not make for pretty plating. Again, it could be the style, and for the traditional food we had I do think it was done well, but I didnt find them to be anything special that I would go out of my way for again.

I came to Zurich for 3 nights to meet my CEO and booked in advance to made sure I get to dine at this legendary restaurant. I was told in reservations that no photos are allowed because they do not want this place to be run by over tourism . Perhaps because there were many ugly tourists in the past or they are just arrogant. Nevertheless, I wanted you to be there to see why this place is so special.. is it because of the food? Service? Or because it is the only restaurant filled with amazing original paintings by Chagall, Etc? As for the atmosphere, it really does live up to the hype.. beautiful and tasteful like in Paris … as for the food.. above average… my wife ‘s dish was too salty.. re: photos ? I didn’t take any during the meal but at the end, I asked the manager and he say no problem.. just no photos of the guests . What about the art work? He say no problem ( the person who responded to me on the email says not allowed due to copyright) … photo can only be taking with permission .. well, maybe because I was wearing Versace ? Definitely a life-time must! A Zurich landmark with so much tradition since the 1920s, history and an amazing collection of original art (Miro, Chagall, Rodin, etc). Unquestionably, however, these attributes (which are watched by an art portrait of Hulda Zumsteg, the founder) would be irrelevant if the menu items were not top notch – in character, presentation including dishing out by the knowledgeable but amicable staff, and most importantly the perfect flavor. Just a quick explanation how to best read the menu: On the left-hand side, there are timeless classical dishes that have not changed and will never change, and on the right-hand side, there are a bit more modern and experimental dishes. Our server, Sami, made the evening truly unforgettable. He was incredibly welcoming and attentive from the moment we arrived. He helped us choose the perfect bottle of wine within our budget and offered wonderful recommendations for exploring Zurich afterward. What truly set the experience apart was the personal touch, Sami gave us a private tour of the restaurant, sharing its fascinating history and introducing us to the incredible artworks on display by some of the most famous artists in the world. Because of Sami’s warmth, knowledge, and genuine hospitality, we will absolutely return to Kronenhalle. The interior is incredibly cool but they also have a small outdoor patio. The cocktails are incredibly inventive and fun while the whiskey list is one of the most impressive you'll find anywhere in the world. Drinks are expensive but you definitely get what you pay for.

Visiting Zurich and knowing we need a good whiskey bar to finish a night out, I marked the Old Crow before the trip. It did not disappoint! The selection of drinks was superb and well organized. Prices of rare whiskey can get to eye watering level as you can expect but it is all there if you want. The team behing the bar was knowledgeable and very friendly. Proper service of drink portion, ice water and water for whiskey is neatly provided We had a lovely time on the bar taking whiskey. Definitely will be back.

I've spent thousands and thousands on this bar over the years, I've bought clients and teams here and recommended it to countless friends. No more, I'm sorry but you just don't treat people this way especially for a high end place. For old times sake (because your staff used to be lovely I'll leave a free top" I would recommend training your newer staff in basic politeness and professional attitude. Ciao.

Such a great bar with an awesome collections of alcohol from all over the world. Just ask for your favourite drink and they might have it! Great barkeepers and very attentive. Can be very busy in the weekend and you might need to wait outside for a while.

The Missionary’s Downfall is a classic tiki cocktail created in the 1930s by Donn Beach at his Hollywood tiki bar, Don the Beachcomber. It combines white rum, peach liqueur, fresh pineapple, lime juice, honey, and mint, served over crushed ice and garnished with a mint sprig and pineapple wedge.

One of the best cocktails bar I've been too. Crowded since I came on a Friday. All the drinks were superb and very interesting. They're so nice too.

This is the best bar in Zürich. There may be good bars that locals favour more but this is THE BAR for cocktail lovers. The bartenders were so knowlegeable and the drinks were brilliant. We visited this bar with friends on our Switzerland roadtrip when we spent a few days in Zürich. This one was best of the Zürich bars. The 20th century was delicious. Despite being one of the simple ones, not all bartenders know how to make it as balanced. This bar passed the test. I will definitely visit again on my next trip here.

Deserves to be the best bar in Zurich. Why the heck is it not in the 100 best bars of the world already? Service is amazing. Instead of ordering from a menu I told them what I want directionally: spirit forward, not sweet, bitter or sour is great and liquor preference as nothing too sweet and no tequila. Tried cocktails in this order: Paper plane Kentucky yacht club Naked and famous Old fashioned - this was the perfect last cocktail - very smokey and capped off a great night. If I had started with this, I would have had 4 of these instead!! Unlike every other run of the mill old fashioned, zero hint of sweetness, just a huge depth of flavor. Imagine that!! Thematically, they were perfect! The curry wurst, spicy was a great accompaniment to the cocktails!

Frau Gerolds Garten nails the summer-cool, urban-garden meet-up vibe. It’s ideal for drinks, ice cream, casual dinners, or late night fondue—in any season—especially when you want a bit of buzz near the train. Recommend it!

Really love the beer garden summer vibe. It was our last day in Switzerland in the middle half of August and just felt like a great closure. Weather was also really nice at the time. Food is standard prices for this country but it's good, if you like hamburgers and grilled BBQ. Don't expect American or east Asian bbq level of good but it's better than most of the food here, to me. And again the atmosphere is really what made it for me.

This was a cool spot for our last night in Zurich. Great vibe, a bit chilly (early October) but we were comfy and the food was good (though expensive but I think I said that about everywhere in Switzerland except Ass Bar). We definitely go back.

I had fondue the day before so I ordered the meat loaf. My food arrived 15 minutes after my friend's meal arrived. She ate alone then I ate alone. The meat loaf was tather dry.and the potatoes were barely warm. Much like high school cafeteria food. Maybe their fondue is better.

Stopped for lunch. The staff are friendly and helpful. A wide selection of of reasonably healthy food. I had a Quinoa power bowl. It was good but would have been better with half the dressing. Seating is picnic tables with welcome umbrellas. A large selection of alcohol free drinks and beer. A nice stop near the Freitag store.

If you get to Zurich, a stop you really need to plan whatever is the season! Relaxing over the summer, warm and welcoming during the winter!

Awesome location, great staff, excellent cocktails. Upon first sight, we thought this place would be creeping with pretentiousness. I am really happy to say we were wrong. Both the staff and the other customers might be dressed a tad better than you, but they dont let you feel it. The cocktails were excellent, and the staff very friendly. I also really like the look of the place: Very New York in a way that does not come off like Times Square.

This is one of my favorite places to have lunch in Zürich. The staff is super friendly, the place looks super cool (not new, but somewhat cosy) and the food is insanely delicious and varied. They have a pasta option, a vegetarian one and a meat option. The service is quite fast and I've never eaten anything that I did not like in the 10-20 times I've been there.

Went to Nordbrücke twice these past few weeks. Once for a concert in the evening and another time for a Brunch with the fam’ around noon. The place has a really chill and alternative atmosphere. The concert was cool and they have a large selection of original drinks. Their brunch isn’t really vegan friendly (bread, jams, fruits, vegetables, cereals, ratatouille and couscous), but they had a couple of fair trade juices and you can ask for plant-based milk.

We love Nordbrücke, especially for lunch on weekdays. We went many times and it was always delicious. Since a couple of years, the staff is also super nice. For Zurich standards also reasonably price, even cheap considering the quality.

Super nice outdoor space and a small indoor space. They had a concert inside and outside you could get something to eat as well (outdoor grill!). The drinks were well priced - normal for Zurich (around 15chf for 3 non alcoholic drinks). Really pretty view of the river which is right next to it.

What a great place with an awesome vibe. Sit down with a beer and people watch or just check out all of the kitsch on the walls. I wasn't here when it was packed so it was quite easy to get around the place. Pretty good selection of beer and wine. Spirits selection seemed to be above average. Recommended.

Stop #4 in our Zurich pub crawl. They have outdoor area which was heaving on a Friday afternoon. Saw a couple of folks with dogs. There is indoor seating including an upstairs area. The decor is eclectic. I would love to go back and check it out. My husband even took pictures of the men's bathroom with the stickers or artwork or whatever was on the walls. I was mesmerized by the giant skeleton on the ceiling. The vibe was chill. The beer cold and delish.

I wasn't entirely sure what "a la discrétion" meant. I enjoy a hearty breakfast or brunch, but after many years of staying in business hotels, I can no longer stand buffets. The offering here is a kind of innovative middle way, and actually not a bad one. The table is not overloaded but richly and colourfully laid... allowing you to enjoy your meal together without having to rush back and forth to the buffet. The quality and service were good, but the plait should not be cut too early as the cut surface was very dry. The room itself is a bit gloomy, with a rather charmless 80s look. The terrace is cool in summer.

Stopped in for a light lunch and couldn't be happier. We had the bao buns and a California rolls on the rooftop deck with a nice view of Zurich including the observatory and the Jules Verne lounge. When we visited the building was under renovation but don't let that put you off

This place had been my number one spot for years. I celebrated my birthday here, regularly came for late-night dinners, and enjoyed Sunday brunches with friends. I truly loved this rooftop. However, two weeks ago I made a dinner reservation for two and unfortunately arrived 15 minutes late. I tried to call and even sent a text message, but received no response. When we arrived, the staff member (who struggled with German) informed us that our table had been given away and offered us seats at the bar instead. Honestly, that’s disappointing. Loyal customers deserve better communication and a bit more effort in service. Would love to go back, but there’s a but…

The place has an amazing view and atmosphere. The food is also good, I would like to try something else before giving 4 stars though. I'm looking forward to come back: the service is not too warm but polite and helpful. The menu is a bit unusual, with many original options, quite nice! I recently visited this rooftop for a drink, and unfortunately, it was quite disappointing. The table we were seated at was dirty, and the coffee cups they served were full of dust. When we asked for clean ones, they only replaced the lower part of the cup not the full set, which didn’t feel hygienic at all. The waiter handling the reservations was also quite rude and dismissive, which made the experience even worse. While the view from the rooftop is nice, the overall service and cleanliness were far below expectations. I wouldn’t recommend this place, it needs serious improvement in both attitude and hygiene.

This place is a hidden gem near the Zurich train station (a 5 minute walk). I had some time to kill before my flight and had a great meal and wine at the Rooftop. There's outside seating available too if you want to enjoy the view. They also have different portion sizes which was amazing because you can order as per appetite and/or group size. The servers were accommodating because I had bags with me, and service was fast and good.

It’s an amazing bar offering a great selection of wine and yummy cocktails. They have a 3 course drinks menu. There are some snacks to enjoy with drinks, but nothing much to eat which was not a problem for us. A great place to catch up with friends or before going to a restaurant for dinner.

Barfussbar is located within the Frauenbad Stadthausquai which, open for swimming everyday from 11th May to 15th Sept 11am-7:30pm, is an art nouveau open-air historical 1888 timber public bath, part of the Seeuferanlage promenade, dedicated solely to women swimming; On three evenings a week (Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday) the bathing facility opens its doors to men as well for Barfussbar lounge/electronic music live, romantic and chilled concerts from 20 to 0:30; Barfussbar sells snacks and beverages; My choice: Stadt Zürich Rosé AOC, Pinot Noir, 1dl glass, 8 CHF;

The Nest is one of those spots where you feel like you are on a little getaway, even though it's right in the middle of Zurich. The view is just great, you can see the Limmat, the lake, and the mountains all at once. It’s the kind of place where you just want to sit back, relax, and forget about everything for a while. The vibe is laid-back but still feels special. The team was really kind, they even surprised with a birthday dessert, which was a lovely and delicious touch. Just a small note: do not recommend the rosé from Ticino, it did not meet the same standard as the rest of the offerings.

We received an invitation to The Nest at the Storchen Hotel as part of a birthday gift. We really enjoyed it! We had a great day for the event. We wondered how we had never heard of it before! We had a fantastic afternoon and will book again next season! The staff, food and views were all fantastic. Highly recommended!!!

Wow, is the first thing you think when you enter the rooftop bar THE NEST in the Hotel Storchen. The view over Zurich and the lake towards the Alps is breathtaking. The service is very friendly and attentive, as it must be for a 5-star hotel. To eat, there are small bites that taste great. It is important to know that THE NEST does not accept reservations. It is only open in good weather and during the summer months from May to September.

We read the reviews and were prepared for the Nest. Short conclusion: Understaffed. When we got in we got served by Sitta which was clearly under too much stress by having to serve the whole restaurant. After like 45 minutes Lia showed up to help and we felt kindness in her voice. Our order was messed up like 3 times. Food was delicious. Prices are normal for Zurich and especially for a rooftop bar. They have bottle of wines for 70 francs. There is organization for who comes in first. We waited for 45 minutes in line and the americans behind us got a better table. If you spend 1500 francs they can make a reservation for you which is great to know for a special ocassion. You usually need 8 people but they would do it just for 2 if you want to spend the money. If the owners of the hotels would need to have the place managed I am happy to take over just contact me. Thanks!

The view and the atmosphere of the restaurant is unbeatable. Food and drinks were okay. Will come back for the view! They also have a $35minimum spent per person. THEY DONT TAKE RESERVATIONS:) The reception will use their key card to take you to the 6th floor. Very bougie place!

Cafe Odeon is famous! It is an iconic place that has been a regular spot for the likes of Albert Einstein, Benito Mussolini, Vladimir Lenin, and many other famous people. The interior is very nice, plenty of nice seating. I enjoyed a cappuccino and admired the history of the place. It is close to the river and the opera house. I think it is a great place to visit for a coffee or a meal while in Zurich!

The coffee is amazing and cocktails are pretty good too. I enjoy visiting cafe and today I tried the bar at night with my friend. We ordered drinks and one Apfel Strudel but seems like the waiter didn’t focus on us properly, we got two of them. I told the waiter who brought it that I ordered only one and the waiter who got our order said in a quite loud voice ‘(swear word that I cannot write because of the google restriction) chinesisch’. I heard it quite well so I asked him did you say ‘(swear word that I cannot explicitly write) chinese’ to us and he said he just said jesus not chinese. I’m pretty sure it starts with rather chi than je but he kept saying that I heard it wrong so I couldn’t do anything more. Still I think none of them is appropriate thing to say.

Over 20 years I have wanted to visit this restaurant. Mainly because it’s historical background. Now I did it. We ordered from lunch menu some kind of a burger or sandwich. It was filled with ham. Sides were fried potatoes. Food was ok but nothing special. Next time I order something more interesting because the menu was more versatile than my order. Interior is lovely and the location also. Service was friendly. Prices are Zürich level. Two “hamburgers” and two sodas with 10% tips was 110€.

Enjoyed a very nice coffee and hot chocolate in this historically significant cafe and bar of Zurich. Would be nice to eavestrough to the conversations of the many important people and notorious characters that frequented this place in the past.

I visited Ideon Bar in Zurich and really liked it. It has that classic old-school charm with dim lights, friendly service, and a relaxed, stylish atmosphere. You can feel the history too, as it’s connected to the old Odeon where Einstein and other thinkers once gathered. The chèvre chaud salad was exquisite, warm goat cheese with pomegranate grapes on fresh greens, beautifully balanced and full of flavor.

Cafe steeped in history which can have a reverent to get ahead of itself. Warm atmosphere with plenty of regulars around which is a testament to its popularity. For sure many famous faces come through Cafe Odeon which has a particular allure, however it is a down to earth venue which will easily captivate one’s senses whilst taking in the history and enjoying a cup of coffee or a meal or a drink. Zurich pricing is tending to be steep but don’t let it dissuade you from spending time at Cafe Odeon.

A panorama bar accessible via an elevator located inside the Lipp Brasserie. - The staff was welcoming. - The drinks were okay; I wasn’t particularly impressed, but that might be because I don’t drink alcohol. - There is a view of Zurich; I wouldn’t call it splendid from my perspective, but it’s still a nice one. - The bar itself felt a bit small to me, which made the atmosphere somewhat noisy and made it hard to have a proper conversation. Overall, I still think it’s worth checking out if you’re passing through Zurich.

What a fantastic place! So unique. We visit every time we are Zurich. You will see the entire city laid out in front of you while enjoying exceptional drinks and service. Tip: The entrance is inside Brasserie Lipp. Once you have drinks, be sure to eat at Brasserie Lipp. It is truly a great dining experience. Probably the freshest Oysters in Zurich, and be sure to try their one of a kind Choucroute Du Mare! Ask to sit in Richard's section!

Access to the lift to the Jules Verne Panoramabar is via the Brasserie Lipp. We queued for 20 minutes to get upstairs which is usual and may be longer. The bar is fairly small but when there you get a great view of Zurich, great service from the team and quality food & drink choices. You are not rushed and can spend as long as you like. We enjoyed a couple of drinks with a great view across the city.

The view from here is absolutely gorgeous, and the drinks are delicious. They can be on the pricey side but once you get the right drink it's worth the cost. With the right company, the view and drinks are enough for a great afternoon.

The place was super cute and cozy. The ambience was warm, ideal to bring a date. It has a great view of Zurich old city and the drinks were a little strong but tastes wonderful. Staff there spoke great English and were all smiles.

The historic architecture and spectacular interior of Razzia are definitely one of its main USPs. What used to be a cinema from the 1920s is now a beautiful restaurant with high ceilings and ornaments on the walls. The food is also great and so it’s their selection of wines.

Amazing interior, great staff and fast service. The food was slightly not so special. Ordered a mushroom stuffed gnocchi, however it did not have a taste at all, which was quite disappointing. Bone marrow, beef tartar were great. Sashi beef burger could use an ingredient that would spark your taste buds. It was dull abit. Overall, would come again, but maybe try something different.

We celebrated our son’s graduation yesterday at Razia, together with his friends and their families, and it was truly wonderful. The staff went above and beyond — they beautifully decorated the table and prepared a delicious special menu, including a fantastic cake. Amazing hotel, good service.. internationally high class priced. At least you get what you pay for. Dont come with a cheap car tho. Even tho we had the maestro suite (the most expensive one - since i got dropped off by a local - the concierge and nightshift manager were slightly dismissive.. until ofc we provided proof for booking a 15k suite. Clothes dont talk money. But its a show off place nonetheless. Still amazing building, great service, very nice atmosphere. Just until accepted. Samw goes to thw city of zurich. Nice to look at but the people are kinda questionable

My stay at The Dolder Grand was absolutely exceptional! The hotel perfectly blends historic charm with modern luxury. The service was impeccable, and every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. My third time in The Dolder. I admit, I was doubting to book the Mandarin O this time, but happy that I went again for The Dolder. There is just no place like this. Stayed three nights, in room 1307, in the Spa Wing Breakfast: great!!! although the small plates with smoked salmon were almost always gone. But the breakfast is great, the Dolder's bircher muesli, is the best! Dinner: had dinner in Salt, same place as breakfast. During dinner: I preferred the 'red area' for the simple reason: during the evening, I did no so much like the lighting in the other part of the restaurant. It was not very 'warm' But I admit I'm obsessed with good lighting. Room: I was in 1307, a bit bigger then standard. I have to say, the rooms don't have the WOW effect anymore, maybe a bit too plain for a 5 star. Probably because the room is very white, and kind of lacks warmth. I admit: I just spend several days in the Chedi Andermatt, so there was a contrast. The wood in the dressing starts to show the wear and tear of daily use. But then again: the balcony ànd the view were amazing! The Spa: very nice to unwind after a day in town. The bar: I love the new design!! I is really a lot better then before! And besides that: I have a weak spot for the very very nice, kind ànd very handsome head bartender. His sparkling eyes and smile and kindness are so nice. Things I love about this place - the shuttle service - the grandeur of the place! - the combination of classic with modern wings, superbe! - the head bartender!

Very poor hotel - DO NOT STAY Service service was terrible, no interaction on bookings and arrangements. Easily the worst hotel experience I have had in the past 10 years. Rooms - Smelt of smoke and did nothing about it - controls and technology including light switches was very aged - booked a lake view room but was very marginal. Do not trust the descriptions. Food - no respect for allergies , multiple failed simple orders where the chef ended up just taking things off the same plate rather than replating. Location - good, Main positives - probably a good hotel for heavy smokers who want beer at breakfast

Disappointing experience at the Dolder Grand – Service Not Up to Standard I stayed at the Dolder Grand last weekend and, despite the beautiful setting and excellent breakfast, my overall experience was unfortunately very disappointing due to the level of service, which fell far below what one would expect from a hotel of this calibre. Right from check-in, several incidents occurred. We were assigned a room and escorted to it by a staff member, only to discover that another guest was still inside. This was extremely embarrassing, especially since the room had been confirmed as ready. We were then asked to wait, and shortly after informed that the room was now prepared for us. However, when we returned, another staff member informed us that the room was actually not ready. The lack of professionalism was striking, and our patience began to wear thin. After several back-and-forths, we were finally given a room. We settled in and headed to the spa to relax after these mishaps. Unfortunately, the surprises continued when we returned from the spa, we found the room completely empty, all of our belongings had been removed without our consent and without any prior notice. This was extremely alarming and unacceptable, and to this day, I have not yet received any explanation as to why our belongings were moved, which I find particularly disrespectful. Throughout the stay, staff entered the room after knocking only once and immediately opening the door. In a hotel of this standard, strict respect for guests’ privacy is expected. In my opinion, knocking at least three times and waiting for a response should be the norm... In summary, stunning architecture and great food, but the service is nowhere near what you’d expect for the price and prestige of the Dolder Grand. Despite the exceptional setting, the experience was deeply disappointing, and I cannot recommend staying there as it is not fairly represent Swiss standards.

Wonderful restaurant with a very pretty terrace! Enjoyed every bite. The buffet has many vegan choices and everything's clearly labeled. Only thing I'll add, if you're proud to be the first vegetarian restaurant in the whole world, then make that next step! Fully vegan, you already know you don’t need animal products to create delicious dishes. So what’s the point? 😉💚

The food was very tasty – we had vegetarian dishes, but there are also vegan options available. The meals are flour-based and fresh, clearly prepared on the spot. Even though it was quite busy, we managed to find a table during lunch hours, and the waiting time wasn’t long. We enjoyed a delicious lunch, and although we didn’t manage to take a photo of the dessert, it was definitely worth saving some room for it.

Top restaurant for a special evening! This restaurant is perfect if you’re looking for a slightly different dining location in Zurich, away from the centre of town, but still easily reached with public transport and with beautiful views of the city. The ambience is stylish but not stuffy. The tables are located far enough apart that you can enjoy a private discussion and the excellent food! Service was also very friendly.

Restaurant Rigiblick is a gorgeous place for dinner and quality time with your beloved ones. The atmosphere, the light, the food and the service is amazing. We had a beautiful and relaxed evening. We went for the 4 way menu - it was delicious. Everything was well selected. The service team (I think it’s the owner) is very helpful and understands its business extremely well. I came solo and hungry, never got a menu as they were not happy that I got sitted by myself at the free table while every other table was booked out, they excused saying that they thought I was waiting for someone, but in fact they never asked me, and didn't come even though I was trying to catch them visually :) doesn’t seem to be a solo-friendly place. Though, I got a drink somehow which was brought pretty fast but even there I didnt have luck, I took a non-alcoholic home made something with berries and they were still frozen, I paid 12.5 CHF for it. For this price I think that amount of berries could have been fresh!

Amazing food in a beautiful setting. The "Eierschwämmli Ragout" with "Serviettenknödel und Liebstöckel" was so delicious. I was so happy I went with that choice. No idea what I expected, but it sounded intriguing. Flavor, texture, all about it was great. Great, calm setting in nature with a beautiful view over the city.

Very nice restaurant and high quality food BUT it is pricey for the amount of food you get. That is not always a bad thing but you should just know what you are in for. We had a fantastic summer weather day and sat out on the terrace. It was very nice!

My boyfriend brought us here to celebrate my birthday and what an unforgettable experience it was! There was so much we loved about La Muña that by the end of our meal, we had already decided we’d be back again. Every dish reflected the heart and effort poured into creating it. As an Asian myself, the Prawn Dumplings and Braised Pork Belly nearly brought me to tears because they tasted just like the ones I’d have back home in Singapore. Finding food that reminds you of home in a new country brings such deep comfort. The Black Cod melted in our mouths, and the Wasabi Ice Cream was simply out of this world. We also appreciated the proactive and impeccable service from the team. Please extend our thanks to everyone who took such good care of us. Keep up the wonderful work, we can’t wait to be back! The rooftop location is truly impressive. Overall, the food was very good, although the panna cotta dessert was not convincing in terms of taste and structure. I would recommend taking it off the menu. The service could be more attentive and proactive, as we had to repeatedly ask for water, wine, or other extras. Overall, it was a good experience. The prices are quite high, and the portions relatively small, so you may leave feeling a bit hungry. You are probably paying for the views

This is definitely a hidden gem in Zurich. Pricing is fair for location and how beautiful this restaurant is. Presentation was stunning. Service is a bit slow in giving the check yet I noticed they were overwhelmed a bit. The food tasted amazing, drinks were also good. I thought by the looks that pricing would be outrageous but it wasn’t at all. I would definitely come back.

Absolutely delicious! Although the outdoor seating wasn’t available we had really nice seating. They were kind enough to offer my friend’s dog water in a cute bowl. Came here for lunch and spent around $90 CHF Would definitely recommend.

Nice interior and great menu variety. The food is good but nothing extraordinarily good. This spot seemed to be less about the food and more about the view, the guests and making sure everything was ready for a social media campaign. Might come back for a drink in summer but wouldn’t come back for the food simply because of the price for what it actually is.

As rightly so pointed in previews comments, we had an extremely unpleasant waiter. First, he tried very much without any subtility to make us understand that we should leave soon by hovering us around and repeatedly asking us what we would like to order again, as we were still chatting and enjoying the sun on the rooftop. Then, he even asked us how long we still wanted to stay as he had guests waiting for a table. It was extremely rude and unpleasant. As paying guests, we should have been given the premium customer service, especially given the very high pricing of drinks, and not that attitude. I do not recommend and will unlikely return if such level of unprofessionalism is not fixed by management asap.

It feels like an average 4-star hotel restaurant. - Average wine list, but above-average prices. - Service is cheerful, but some blunders happened during the evening (it's not the Four Seasons/Park Hyatt Level. Which is okay. But after some mistakes, maybe the coffee could be on the house? But of course not, as money doesn't matter to the customers, Mr Blume) Bottom line: Become a member to impress your business partner (or another important person). Have a pre-dinner drink, but then take an Uber Black to Kronenhalle, etc.

Best view of Zurich!

One of my favorite spots in Zurich. Close to Langstrasse but not close enough to attract the wrong crowd, this place innovates with their creative menus and delicious cocktails. It’s not very big so getting a spot can be a challenge sometimes. Definitely not a spot you want to visit with a large group of people, instead the perfect spot for an intimate date.

Stumbled upon this place for apéritive and it’s pretty nice! The interior is super cozy, the wait staff are smiley, polite and attentive. The cocktails tastes great and the platters were delicious. The price was also great for Zurich. I would definitely come back here again.

Just amazing drinks, the bartenders are very talented and the menu is broad and diverse – I try a new drink every time I’m here and it is always good.

Fun bar off Langstrasse. Small and intimate, idea for a date or small group, less idea for but groups. Good service, good beers, good cocktails, and the music isn't too loud. There's a lot to like here.

Nice bar and good spirit selection. Waiters a were very friendly. Getting complementary water is a nice service (looking at you EVERY other restaurant and bar in town)

Best margarita in town

The atmosphere here is definitely a 5. Went to a Brasil carnival celebration last night in Moods and it was just beautiful. Nicely decorated, the sound and lights were on point, plenty of space to watch the show. The bartenders in the majority were good and you could see how fast they were serving in such a big event, in general they did a good job. Caution that the heating gets hot in spring so make sure not to wear too much and leave layers outside in the locker.

Zurichs best jazz and world music concert hall and club. I could atender to "The James Brown Tribute" and "Bombino" concerts. Amazing selección of artists.

We attended a jazz concert and was really nice. Can not say about the food as we did not eat, but the place is cozy.

Attended a blues concert here and we really enjoyed the venue. Its located inside a larger building. The bar had cocktails was great! There was seating around the side of the space and a second floor which had a small staidum style seats as well. Pretty good layout for shorter people to ensure they can see the artists!

Great band! An entry ticket must be paid to hear the band, but it’s worth it. Drink prices are Swiss average.

Best place in town for live music, probably in the whole country. For this one concert the sound could have been better.

Lovely atmosphere and vibe, friendly staff, ice cold beers and the olives were delicious! I’ve only docked a star for service because it was quite difficult to get serving staff’s attention for order and payment but given it was so busy ( Saturday afternoon and the Techno Naturklang weekend parties) so it really is not surprising. Would be keen to eat here another time!

Stopped in for a pre concert snack and were seated after a bit of confusion as the restaurant had just opened. Our waiter took good care of us and brought us our wine - a surprisingly complex red from Zurich, of all places - and soon after came two delicious plates of the house tartar. A perfect pit stop for refueling.

We had lunch here and made reservations beforehand, which I highly recommend, as the restaurant is a popular lunch spot for many employees due to its central location, so it tends to be booked up at lunchtime. I appreciated the location by the National Museum, which gave it a more relaxed atmosphere. The service was very friendly and the food was very good.

Restaurant Spitz has been my favourite meeting place for lunch with friends for the past six years. Delicious and varied menu, attentive and friendly staff, it is an oasis in Zurich to enjoy good company and good food. Have booked again for next week.

Had really bad experience today at this restaurant. I was there 30min earlier for the booked time was told no service in 30min due to special occasion that all staffs needed to have briefing, only water can be provided, fair enough. Then waited almost till 18:15 no service was provided. Then been told if we only want to have something small then we need to move to other area, ok for us. Then another 15min nothing was happening. We asked again, finally we were moved to another table then a waiter shouted at us kind of ‚what do you want NOW!!!‘ by slightly tapping on his arm asking him to calm down a bit. he was shouting to his manager to call police for personal offense 🤔 never experience this. Feel pity for such a nice location having such unprofessional staff to provide service. Also ruined the reputation of the restaurant in my opinion. unbelievable!

We went there for a dinner with a group of 6 people. The place is behind the train station, very spacious however we did t have a good dinner experience. The quality of food vs price was bit aligned at all. The meat was chewy, the greens served with meat was without any taste. The desserts were ok. We had super high expectations however we were quite disappointed.

Disappointed that I turned up for a resturant meal experience and placed with the drinking section instead. You can see on the pictures when it came to my tea at the end of my meal there was still seating rooms available although I was told there was booked out.

Really nice bar, super relaxed. The alcohol free amaretto sour is one of my favourite drinks ever, and the Parmesan fries with truffle mayo are delightful. Towards the back, you can watch the trains go past as well which is great fun!

A lovely hotel bar that is open to anyone. And good for work. Their shakshuka makes a great (and very reasonably priced) breakfast. Waiter Ivan and the rest of the staff are wonderful.

Really nice atmosphere and cool place to have a drink and the service is nice! Been here several times but this time was the worst time ever!!! I ordered an icetea which was the worst sweetest icetea ever in my life. Like is it icetea or a cake shake?? Too many flavors in a simple icetea…. Its not a rocket science honestly. For a high standard bar i am shoked and suprised….

Interesting cocktails, great vibe, chill crowd. Sadly both the drinks I ordered were a bit too adventurous for me, and I am quite open to experimenting with flavours. Fun to see the bartneders pushing boundaries and treating each of the mixes like an entertaining science experiment.

Great place to get coffee and pastries (had the cinnamon buns) in the morning and also Negronis in the evening. Very nice atmosphere- you can sit inside or outside during the summer months. The var staff is very friendly and engaging. The prices are average for Zürich and totally fine for the high-quality food and drinks. I would recommend a visit if you like good Negronis and classic cocktails.

Came here for lunch. The menu is pretty “basic”, with options that seem rather fast food, but it is delivered well. I had the shrimp and prawns in olive oil, and my friend had the daily pasta and it was good. A lot of corporate people seem to come here for lunch. If i could suggest an improvement would probably be to make the menu a little healthier (less fried, more steamed and beilage included)

I've been going there for probably well over 20 years. The food is very good and tasty, especially the burgers. Love the staff, since they are really friendly; also probably since I go way back with some of them. The atmosphere is what it is in a former hip joint.

Very nice restaurant with excellent service. We had an amazing time at our dinner. The food was good but for that kind of prices we expected a little bit more. So the prices in General are very high and in my eyes way to much for what you get. So the portions are quite small. It is understandable because it is the Kaufleuten Restaurant which has a long history and everything, but still to much. The rest was phenomenal, nice ambience and superfriendly staff. I can definitely recommend you to go there and enjoy your time.

A great spot for delicious food! The avocado-carrot salad is heavenly. The staff are very cordial and welcoming, and they even accommodate guests without a reservation, if it’s not too busy. I definitely recommend a visit.

Wowww... I didn't expect that in this rather cool business or industrial zone. The garden is like an alternative anteroom to a youth centre and the inside is just like it used to be in those "les Halles" in France... Loud, colourful and simply cosy. Great. The reception and service were super organised and friendly. Then, unfortunately, the food... couldn't quite keep up. The tartare, as is so often the case, too firmly processed, too many ingredients (I suspect because many people don't want to experience raw meat after all) and so mushy. The moules... Sorry, it can't be that difficult. Is it because we arrived rather late at half past 8 (that's early in France) or because they simply produce them in bulk here? More than half of the mussels were empty... The meat was discovered at the end in the watery broth... or broken... These splinters were also found in the broth... The muscle meat was dry, really dry. We began to wonder how it could be done like that. Preheated in the afternoon, warmed up in the streamer and then doused with water and onion? No, despite the great ambience, the food was below average.

I've been coming here for years. It's known for its mules and fries, but I can also recommend any of the other food. It's definitely worth a visit, even if just for a beer or cocktail.

Ate here before a concert at the Volkshaus. Very cool restaurant with high ceilings, large windows and warm decoration. A welcoming ambience .Quiet, but busy. Food was very good. They offered a large variety if classic dishes with seasonal dishes. Service was excellent. Attentive, friendly and efficient. They also have outdoor seating I believe. Would highly recommend coming to restaurant Volkshaus. Thank you.

Everything was absolutely delicious—from the fresh tartare and tender tagliata to the crispy cordon bleu. The pistachio tiramisu and chocolate dessert were divine. Beautiful presentation, excellent cocktails, and the Mura Mura red wine was a standout. Friendly, attentive service made the whole experience even better. Highly recommended!

The Hall for the concerts looks like a dance hall, not optimal for seeing the scene. However, nice good building.

Special interiors with high ceilings but cozy. Service is fast, friendly and professional. Food differs from very good to mediocre. For example, Cordon Bleu was a gigantic unsubtle hunk of meat running with a huge amount of melted cheese. Pricey, but it is Zürich so you can't expect cheap food, especially meat here. Nice wine menu and a very cozy old styled bar.

Nice place to stop for a light brunch. Several options to choose from, including set options. The space is nice and ambience is laid back. I opted for the muesli and coffee and was not disappointed. Staff was friendly and service fast. Check it out if you’re in the area.

James Joyce has a welcoming and attentive staff and a cosy atmosphere. Good local beer selection on draft (try the Hürlimann!) and the choice between comfortable cushioned bar stools or more intimate booths. The food is fresh pub fare and quickly prepared by the kitchen. James Joyce is a warm and convivial retreat from the windy streets of Zürich on a cold November evening.

This restaurant had been on my bucket list for quite a while and maybe had too high expectations of it? The food was decent, but not impressive… I tried their Caesars Salad and Club sandwich. Salad was fine, they were a bit sparing with croutons and bacon though! The sandwich was mediocre as well, meat was flavourful but there was barely any sauce on the bread which I found to be very disappointing. What did catch my eye was the ambiance: A victorian style pub with comfortable seating, more on the elegant side. Especially the fact that there was a group of irish guys next to my table made it seem like I was sitting in Dublin rather than Zurich! Overall, I think I went in with the wrong expectations. Segmüller Collection usually stands out for high quality restaurants and culinary journeys but at the end of the day - it’s simply a pub! Hearty dishes are meant to be filling but definitely not something to die for. Therefore, not sure if I would come back for the food but definitely for a couple of beers or gins with friends and family!

We had a last minute group of 8 and a kiddo, and they were very accommodating to have us without reservation. The food was delicious and generously portioned. Come hungry! I had the James Joyce burger which had a perfect sunny side egg on top. The meat is well seasoned, but might not be a kid's favorite. Chicken nuggets are homemade. My wife had the seasonal penne with arribiata spicy sauce and bacon, which tasted great. My mother had the chili shrimp, which had around 8 shrimp and a bowl of bread for little open face sandwiches. My dad had the tuna steak, which was meaty, but could have used some grill marks or sesame seeds. Overall, we were pleasantly surprised and impressed by the attentive staff and great food.

Depend on who serves the food you can be happy there or not. Mostly nice though. It’s not a cheap restaurant. so guests expect professional service. Food: cottage pie ok not impressed Burger good quality taste ok Truffle soup was very good Cocktail was good Tables are too close each other.

Upscale pub in Zurich with friendly service, nice ambiance and a tasty house grappa distilled from plumbs. My only gripe is that the draft beer was a few degrees warmer than I prefer, although this seems to be the norm in Switzerland. Overall a top notch place.

Always very busy, but come in the mornings to the women’s side and you’ll get to relax with an unobstructed beautiful view on the lake and the alps. Showers and changing rooms are available.

Great place to have a swim in the super clean lake of Zurich and have a drink. No, the drinks and the food are expensive. But you will have a great experience in return. It is also has a relax atmosphere and not a lot / almost no tourists.

Outstanding local Sauna, with plunging directly into the lake. We’d been seeking a sauna on our trip to Zurich and this didn’t disappoint. Excellent hospitality and clean facilities. You won’t be disappointed here.

We rented an electric boat for 3 hours on Lake Zurich and it was easy, reasonably priced and efficiently run. We will definitely do this again!

Guys at the counter were not trying to help at all. Just so you know, when someone who is clearly a tourist and has a 20 kilo backpack on their back approach the facility, you dont look at their faces and say nothing. You start explaining how things work and try to help. Felt like i was interrogating your guys just to get some information. Hey and if you think the customer doesn't fit the profile, just say your exclusive nicely and be done with it.

Zürich’s coolest summer hangout! Letten Pool is such a fun and unique place to swim — where else can you float down a clean city river with locals, jump off diving boards, and sunbathe on wooden decks, all for free? The water is crystal clear and refreshing, with a nice current that carries you down the Limmat (strong swimmers only!). There’s a great vibe here — lots of locals, chilled-out music, and a few pop-up bars and snack spots nearby. It’s very clean, and there are lockers and change rooms available too. Perfect for a hot summer day. Just grab a towel, a swim suit, and a 2-franc coin for the locker, and you’re good to go. 🌊 Tip: Wear water shoes — the riverbed can be a little sharp. ☀️ Tip: Come early or later in the evening to avoid the crowds. Easily one of the best public swimming spots I’ve ever been to. Don’t miss it if you’re in Zürich in the summer!

Public, safe, clean and free. What more can one ask for? A wonderful experience to mingle among the locals in this beautiful city. Sun bathing or swimming in the clear cool water on a hot summer day. Toilet, changing facilities are available and the nearby establishment is readily available for a cold drink. A truly unique experice when one is visiting Zurich.

I can barely afford anything in Swiss, but this outdoor swimming pool is FREE. They have a locker, changing room, shower, and toilet for FREE. All you need to do is to swim, read, sleep, drink, and repeat.

Great place to swim in the river. There is some current and many safety ladders. The opposite bank is open when the club side is closed, and many locals come for an early morning swim.

The staff members stood out in particular, providing exceptional service and ensuring that everyone felt well taken care of. Their expertise and enthusiasm made the class both informative and fun. The drinks were absolutely delicious, including a selection of expertly crafted cocktails and sparkling wine. A special highlight was the team’s spontaneous offer to create non-alcoholic drinks, which was a thoughtful touch. To top it all off, we enjoyed a fantastic cheese platter that paired perfectly with the drinks. Overall, this was a well-rounded experience with excellent value for money. One of the worst experiences I've had in this bar today. (Been there several times) First it started with an ID check (only with us, not with the following guests). Minimum age 20, we were well over 20) After arriving inside we were not served for 15 minutes. When the order was taken, it took another 15 minutes for the drinks to arrive. When they finally arrived, it was the last time we saw the waiter. He never came back except to collect money when the bar was about to close When we wanted to leave afterwards, we were picked up, the car that picked us up was expelled from the place by the "super nice" security (the most unfriendly ever). Because it is not allowed to park there. Not even the wallet could take it to park because it had to leave. Although it was for the wallet As a host, treating your customers like this is an outrage. This security doesn't understand much about customer satisfaction. If someone treats customers like this in a classy hotel, then they are in the wrong profession. With this much customer contact.

Atmosphere is good but cocktails are not good at all. We ordered small bottle of water. It costs 10 CHF. Unnecessarily expensive. It wasn’t worth the money. Service is ok.

This Michelin restaurant has lots of small dishes and many varieties. The servers are very attentive. The only thing is that the space between the seats are a little too crowded and a bit noisy overall. The main dish pork is not strong enough compared to other prior dishes. Overall is still a very good restaurant to visit.

We had an amazing birthday dinner of my best friend together with his lovely wife and one of their sons. Service is the absolute best service I've ever experienced in Zurich, in Switzerland and to be honest: in the world. The chef also came when we were on the way to go, really nice, 37 years old, from Austria. Top restaurant. One of the very best in Switzerland and Europe. Thank you so much for the great experience and that really super outstanding Service!

Mostly finger food. Very appealing for anyone with working digits. Really epitomizes the farm to table to fingers to mouth philosophy. More fun and casual and light hearted than a typical Michelin bourgeois restaurant

Michelin star holding restaurant in Zurich. The restaurant with a bar session which serves very special cocktails. We tried the course with all the add ons. Every course comes as a combination of dishes with different layers of flavours. They also served a classic swisss cheese foundue on request. A good try for diners.

Overall a bit disappointed. My honest opinion. I've been to several Michelin restaurants over the world, including Paris, London, San Francisco, other places in Switzerland, Tokyo and Seoul, but it was the first time that made me doubt the Michelin guidance. The atmosphere was good. However, foods were disappointing. Foods were alright overall, but not even close to the Michelin one star. The staffs were really kind, but their knowledge of their serving menus were questionable. When I asked about the ingredients, they answered Umami, after asking the chef, while the Umami means the taste, not the ingredients. The dessert started to melt after 2 minutes it's served and lost its shape. The wine pairing was also disappointing. Honestly, there could be so many 'Gourmet' rated restaurants that can beat IGNIV by taste. All my impression was based on the comparison with other two starred restaurants.

The unique sharing concept added a generous and fun element to our evening, allowing us to try a variety of beautifully crafted dishes. Each course was thoughtfully paced, giving us plenty of time to savor the food and enjoy our evening together. The staff was warm, comfortable, and highly professional, enhancing the overall atmosphere and making us feel truly welcome. The ambiance itself was perfect—relaxed yet refined, which made for a great dining environment. The drinks were equally impressive, complementing the meal beautifully. We also received a cute Polaroid picture to remember this great evening. We highly recommend IGNIV and are already looking forward to coming back. It was truly a memorable experience!

After many years I went bavk to Baur’s. I found a nice deco, retro/liberty style with nice details on lights, vase and floor style. The staff and the service was excellent. The dinner service was good, nice dishes and well prepared. In my case I opted for “alba white truffle” choices and therefore I have to say the dishes (risotto and tagliolini) are not complex. The truffe was excellent. The restaurant is not very big and there are quite a lot of tables, this make the atmosphere a bit noisy, but not excessive. Overall a nice experience! Happy to habe been back to Baur’s

Went to get a drink, the place is done up in a stunning way. Its absolutely gorgeous. The art is stunning. The bar staff were super sweet and helpful. Highly recommend for a drink !

As Swiss say, a tip top experience! I was in Zurich for a few weeks ago with my uncle’s recommendation to visit Baur’s. The experience didn’t disappoint! From the moment I entered the hotel to being seated and beyond the service was exceptional. I went on the Wednesday because they had the Wellington Wednesday service but they were sold out by the time I served- so book your seating early. The server did a great job of working with me to find an alternative dish with a paired wine. The food itself was delicious and well plated- it definitely had that Michelin star quality and the overall vibe of restaurant was excellent. Because of this experience I will definitely be staying at this hotel for future visits.

I’ve been here several times over the past year and it’s always a great experience. The restaurant has a lovely upscale vibe with a cozy atmosphere, beautiful interior design, and great lighting. The food and drinks are consistently delicious, and the service is always top-notch. Every time we leave, we’re satisfied and happy. As a Brit, I’m especially looking forward to trying the Wellington Wednesday sometime soon! Highly recommend Baur’s!

Incredible atmosphere and decoration and also service is really TOP. We have been here for brunch and for drinks and overall we are very happy! When it comes to food, the portions are small nevertheless and prices are a bit high! Also nothing extremely tasteful, so food is just ok in my opinion. Nonetheless worths for sure to come once.

Very classy and elegant, the cocktails are good but the food is even better. The carpaccioa and tartar were superb! The linguine with langoustine was too good to be true. If you order the Zurich veal, make sure to include kidneys.

A cafe and bar where you can relax and have a rest. It is the birthplace of the Dada art movement. There was not a lot to see on this front. A few artifacts pieces in the lower cafe; a small library about the Dada movement upstairs and a small exhibition area in the basement, which on this visit was based on sound. Staff were welcoming. They explained the layout and a but about the building. They, also, provided an English information sheet. You get free entry if you have a Zurich travel card. It is not really worth paying for.

If you are reading this, you probably already know that this is the birthplace of Dada, and although there is very little left of the original insides of the building (and no way of even knowing what it would have looked like back in 1916) it still felt like somewhat of a pilgrimage. You can visit the back room where the Dadaists originally held their soirees, and there is also a library of Dada and Surrealist books, as well as an exhibition space in the basement. TIP - They have currently moved to their summer opening times, which means they are closed during the week. But I contacted them via their website/email and they very kindly opened up for us on a Wednesday, so we had the place to ourselves.

Unconventional pub, very welcoming and chic. One can discover here, for a small fee, some interesting facts and history on Dadaism movement.

Nice symbolic/historic place to visit on your walking tour, you can have a drink on the roof top (personally I didn't go up for tight schedule)

This place gives you a small view into the alternative art scene and is the birthplace of a counterculture art movement. Something unique and different when strolling around Altstadt. Friendly staff.

i come to this place regularly. original and fun events, amazing exhibitions (the recent Lee Scratch Perry exhibition was marvellous), wonderful performances with renown artists from all around the globe… we can tell that the team puts much effort in the curation of these events and care profoundly about this space that holds great historical significance. definitely recommend
