Excellent service, the fish here is high quality and fresh, sushi grade ahi here is incredible, I have lunch here whenever I am around this part of town, the plates are great with good side dishes.
Heber M — Google review
I have seriously been missing out on the amazing poke at Fish King! Easily the second best poke in LA, right behind Jus Poke in Redondo Beach Poke is cut into thick cubes, marinated so well without being salty or having one flavor overpower another. The fish is fresh and lean and delicious! The tuna roll is delicious. The tuna is cut so big and again fresh and tasty! And everything is so well priced, the roll was $10 and the poke was about $10 too. Well worth it!
Alex X — Google review
Amazing market and restaurant offering very fresh seafood and poultry. We went for lunch but the market had lots of fresh and high quality items. The food was also amazing, you order at the counter and there are two main seating areas. The swordfish was the best I have ever had, and the poke bowl was delicious. The sides were really great but I wish the portions were bigger. The swordfish wad perfectly cooked and did not taste fishy at all. The staff are very helpful and friendly, working hard and fast to serve up amazing food.
Shawn S — Google review
I heard so much about this place so I decided to place an online order on a whim. After arriving a bit early, they did take a while. I didn’t mind a bit because this store has so much to explore, but just don’t expect the food to come out quickly. The fish was very delicious and I’ll definitely be back to get another plate!
Jennifer S — Google review
Super fresh seafood and the shrimp and muscles were excellent. The place is clean, staff is friendly and everything is well organized. A must try if you are in the area or close by.
David R — Google review
Fresh Hawaii style poke in a market setting. Quick service, no fuss. It was a little confusing to order a bowl- if you want poke you can take a ticket and order at the counter like at a deli, but if you want the bowl hang a right and order at the cashier. I forgot to take a picture of our bowls but we crushed them lol. Very fresh and one of our favs in LA.
Lauren — Google review
I ordered the fish and chips. The fish was bland and also was the tartar sauce. One of the fish was undercooked a and unbeatable. Probably because it was too thick. The chips were okay. I really wanted to like this place but unfortunately, it just didn't taste very good.
Ken C — Google review
We came on a Saturday afternoon after seeing a review on TikTok. It certainly did not disappoint. Our party of three all got Poke, and we got some clam chowder and a crunch fish to share. You can get 1 or 2 poke in your bowl. The poke is good and very tender. The clam chowder is very creamy and has a lot of meat! I highly recommend Fish King. I will be coming back again!

Seafood restaurant
Vegas Seafood Buffet offers a wide array of food from around the world in an unlimited quantity, making it a Las Vegas-inspired dining experience. The buffet features an amazing selection of seafood, various desserts, and Asian fusion dishes prepared by Teppanyaki style chefs. With over 150 food items and a spacious setting, it's an ideal choice for special events. Visitors praise its unique and tasty dishes with carefully cooked flavors.
One of the nicest buffets I've ever been to. Great selection of food, fresh fruit. They had shrimp, cold shrimp, I prefer hot , clams, mussels, crabs and crawfish . The crabs were good, deep fried. Their shrimp dumplings were to die for. I also loved the potstickers. They had just cut a watermelon 🍉 and it was soo good! Nice and juicy and sweet and cold. Went back at least 3 times for that. They had some nice looking deserts. Moochie, and cake and cookies and pudding. Even creme brulee which tasted more like egg custard . Didn't have the flavor from other ones I've tried. But overall a really nice buffet. The interior was fancy and we'll decorated. I like this place and I'll go back. I highly recommend if your in the area. P. S. Park at the Marketplace garage, if you can find it. They validate your parking for here only. I went to Americana garage and had to pay $14. It's hard to find the Marketplace parking. Downtown is very busy. Lots of traffic and people will run you over, especially if you slow down to look for things.

The most memorable: shrimp, coconut shrimp, habachi short rib, and the crab legs, lamb cut my family was very excited and really enjoyed the adventure in discovering what we’d like the most. It creates a very enjoyable and vibrant experience. Also very grateful that our sever doubled back to find a candle to make sure to help us joyously sing happy birthday. We thought they did a great job serving their best. Overall, I would agree that the quality of food is pretty mid with a few stand out (refer to the list above). Pro tip: the best dishes are the ones that they replenish the most. Anything that doesn’t sit out for too long and ones that you catch immediately after they bring it out will most likely be the most enjoyable.
Elaine D — Google review
FALSE/ DECEIVING PRICING: ON THE OUTSIDE : Lunch is $21.95 , ONCE you go inside, THEY tell you 10% SURCHARGE! . Still the total price is VERY REASONABLE given the food quality, variety, atmosphere! It is just a matter of being honest upfront! Customers would give more in tip anyway! There is really no reason for the surcharge! Food quality is good but not great 4/5! Food variety 5/5 Service is 4/5. Atmosphere is 5/5
Hadi M — Google review
This seafood buffet dinner is fantastic! The variety of dishes is impressive, with a wide selection of fresh seafood, and the unlimited crab legs are definitely a highlight:) We have a pleasant and relaxing moment there. Their service is attentive and friendly, making the overall experience even better. Thank you Vegas. We will definitely come back soon!
Armine H — Google review
My son discourages leaving a review since he'd rather not return to a place he doesn't like. We like to try eating at different places. This review isn't about disliking the food because it's something outside of our comfort zone, this place is being given a low review because of its horrible food and dented fork. The shrimp was overcooked and mushy, the strawberries were large but tasteless and visibly rotten, the meat and broccoli had rubbery meat, the ribs were not seasoned well, pasta and cheese tasted watery..... Even the fork was done and needed to be removed for safety issues- with its many crooked prongs. Sometimes, when we experience food outside of our comfort zone, we have a larger frame of reference to use when comparing food.
Sandee F — Google review
Good food. Service ok, the most important its food fresh and they refill all the time. Clean plates. 3 adults 1 kid Saturday after 1 2 beers, 1 wine, 2 regular drinks and entry $200. 💪👍good job vegas buffet
Alex M — Google review
Our journeys often lead us to remarkable places to savor a meal, and this occasion was no different. During a visit to the Galleria in Glendale, my wife discovered the Vegas Seafood All-You-Can-Eat Buffet. The experience was nothing short of extraordinary—an exquisite array of flavors, a welcoming ambiance, and memories that will linger long after. It was a truly exceptional culinary adventure that left a lasting impression.
Tommy R — Google review
Sadly, this place has gone downhill. The prices have increased, and they now charge an additional 10% regardless of the number of people. The service has also declined — since the 10% is automatically added, the staff seems less attentive. There are fewer food options, and the quality has dropped. I used to enjoy the crab legs, but now they’re thin and overly salty.

Hands down the best seafood boil in all of Los Angeles. This is the only place I ever go to. Spicy Cajun snow crab and shrimp bundle is my go-to. Wonderful owner as well, this man has to be the nicest and most hospitable person I’ve met here. Always greets you and does his best to make sure you’re alright and don’t need anything. Would recommend the Clam Chowder and Crab Cakes as well.

Hidden gem in Glendale.First time going here and could not be happier. My usual place for this type of food is Kickin Kajun, but definitely from now on this will be my spot, no more waiting over an hour for a table. This place has a larger menu with a ton more items to order. The food was very delicious, I have absolutely no complaints.
Alex M — Google review
This place is on the other side of the busy Brand Blvd. Food and Service is good! Our first time here and I was in the mood for some seafood before we left LA to go back home. I Googled "oysters" while we we were passing Glendale and this one came up with 4+ stars. Lots of pasta choices-great for my kids because they love pasta, they had single seafood boil plates and nice dinner plates too. I got a shrimp boil and a plate of raw oysters! My kids got pasta, and Hubby got himself a lobster tail dinner. Food was EXCELLENT! Atmosphere was nice, looked like a rustic Italian restaurant. Nice for lunch, dinner dates, and big family gatherings too as there was a large table across the room with 7+ people. Our servers were very friendly and seemed to treat all guests with grace. Will I come back, YES.
Macsy M — Google review
Food was really good actually. The waiter/host wore way-way to much cologne however and it lingered throughout our whole meal. Also when we walked in we were greeted with him gruffly yelling across the restaurant "follow me" good food, nice looking restaurant. A professional at the front would make this place excellent.
Gabriel B — Google review
Very friendly staff, Great food and fast service will def be coming back soon
Tiffany M — Google review
In town for work. Next to Embassy Suites. Ordered the mahi but saw the other dishes! GENEROUS portions! Great service (ask for Alex)!! Will be back for the soft shell or dungeoness. Or the shrimp boil. Prices were super reasonable!! I will be back. Alone, with clients, with family… definitely go here.

This place was no good Cajun food, yeah right jambalaya was nasty, I loved in Louisiana, this restaurant is nothing near Cajun for sure! Service was no good, won't come back. The chevron gas station food in Louisiana is better

Went to this buffet for lunch. This place looks and feels very clean. The buffet has plenty to choose from. They have a great selection of sushi rolls. Great selection of hot foods as well. If you have room, they have great dessert options as well. I recommend this place.

My dad loves this place and I can see why. Lots of options for food and decently priced. You will get full, so pace yourself. Overall I’ve had great lunches with my family here. Quality is descent and the food tastes great for buffet. Also it’s next to an in n out!
Rodrigo “ — Google review
Quite possibly the worst buffet I've ever been to. Most of the food was cold, the quality was abysmal and most of the sushi was flavorless. I really thought it would be a reasonable place but even the small amount of money I paid, I felt like I should have spent next door at in-n-out. Sushi - very suspicious Beef and broccoli - very little beef Miso soup - made out of dried packets Pork chops - who knows how long they been frozen I thought the fruit would at least be good. Nope, papaya was hard as a rock. Anyways, when you feel like spending $20 at this place, just get a few burgers at in-n-out. Oh and the atmosphere, there is none. The place hasn't been remodeled in 20 years.
IO — Google review
Good food but stir fry beef and mushrooms a bit tough, loved the fruits but papaya didn't look fresh, my favorite was walnut shrimp. Sushi look nice and fresh as well as the seafood. Server was patient and on top of our drinks and dishes. Front cashiers were as organized and pleasant with our huge group of about 23-25 people. Nice variety of self serve icecream.

First time here and getting here was easy. It's next to the busy in n out so it's tricky to get in and getting parking. Once inside you pay first and will be seated. We came here during the dinner time and lots and lots of food to choose from. Lots of selection of seafood, meat, and chicken, but mostly seafood. Dessert options were okay and wish they had more fruit options like watermelon. Overall it was worth the price.
Broski R — Google review
Sushi and rolls are fine. Mostly seafoods section was fine includes king crab. Crab wasn't salty like other buffets. But warm foods section includes meat and poultry was soso. Meat was kindly rough and fried foods were too dry And also desserts selection is poor If you like sea foods like sushi and rolls, especially king crab, it's worth what you pay for, however, you are meat lover, I wouldn't recommend.

Beautiful restaurant in a very quiet location. The food was amazing and they had a special 50% bogo. We purchased many plates; but I was impressed they had tempura shishito peppers, they were delicious. The service was outstanding, clean and spacious restaurant.

You just have to visit this place! They make the best rolls I've tried in Glendale here. The fish is so fresh, as if it was swimming in the ocean a minute ago and now it's on your table. And the atmosphere and service are always so great. We always feel welcome here. It was like coming to dinner with friends.Every time we get not only good food, but also a great mood!

The Bento boxes, for the price, ($18.95-$21.95 at the time of this review) were actually surprising good. The proportions were good and, the variety, the flavor and quality. I was surprised that there were not more patrons to the place. See I was attentive, and the atmosphere, aside from the music, was acceptable.

Natalie Peruvian Seafood Restaurant is a traditional eatery offering a menu filled with ceviche and seafood dishes in a modest strip-mall setting. Delicious food & great service! This is my second time here — I loved their Jalea de Marisco last time so I had to come back. We got ceviche too this time and it was really good. I really recommend this place

To start, I ordered a leche de tigre that was really good, and for the main course, they recommended the lomo saltado, which was delicious and came in a very generous portion. The atmosphere is pleasant and comfortable, and I 100% recommend the place if you want to have a good time. :)

The service at Natalie was great but I was a little underwhelmed by the food. I’ve had a lot of Peruvian in Georgia and Florida but this was my first experience in California. It just wasn’t as good as other places I’ve had it. I got the ceviche appetizer which came in a beautiful glass. Expect it to be SUPER tart with the lemon sauce. The Lomo was good. Steak was on the drier side by the gravy, rice, and fries were perfect. Overall, I would go back and try different dishes. Service, again, was so great.
Courtney W — Google review
Absolutely amazing and authentic Peruvian cuisine. Came in 40 mins before they closed and was treated like a member of the family after being greeted with a life size arial photo of Machu Pichu. Ordered the soup - Aguadito de Pollo and it got the spot. Extremely savory and well seasoned. Also got the shrimp ceviche and the citrus was perfect with canchis and corn. Lastly ordered the Lomo Saltado with Yucca. The Lomo was traditional, delicious and really large portion. The Yucca was crispy and the aji verde was spicy and complimented the entire dish perfectly. Next time we’re in LA this is a must to stop and enjoy the meal and share with family and friends. Muchas gracias por todo.

Fish Time is a seafood restaurant that offers both raw and cooked seafood options along with draft beers. The establishment has a comfortable atmosphere with exposed-brick walls. Customers order their food at the counter and the staff is readily available to answer any inquiries. During happy hour, patrons can enjoy discounted prices on menu items such as oysters on the half shell and dynamite fries. The oysters are fresh, meaty, and well-prepared while the dynamite fries are exceptionally delicious.
Nice atmosphere, roomy and tasty food. Friendly staff. Good proportions. For a group of 4 our total was $85 so it's up there on price. But the food was good. My favorite was the Tilapia with Garlic Butter... yum! I'll be back and I'll bring my friends.

Not a bad place for some fish dishes. Healthy options. I compared the fish and chips with California Fish Grill and it was definitely no match. I was kind of disappointed with the fish and chips. However the salmon garlic butter sauce was pretty tasty. I do recommend their normal grilled fish versus the fish and chips. I also recommend the Hangar 24 draft beer. I found the other draft options we're so so. The staff is really friendly. The setup of the restaurant it's also nice with cool music.

I saw a video of this place by "insider food" and I was determined to try it. The restaurant is bright and clean. You order at the counter and they are more than happy to answer any questions. I was lucky enough to go there during their happy hour and I ordered 6 oysters on the 1/2 shell and dynamite fries. My friend also ordered a couple oysters and the dynamite roll. The oysters were meaty, fresh, and clean. The dynamite fries were incredible and my friend thoroughly enjoyed the buttery dynamite roll. I definitely want to go back and try their uni pasta! There is metered street parking available.

Came to Fish Time looking for some fish...and some fish I got! Came unwittingly at happy hour (Mon - Fri. 3pm - close. all day Sat and Sun) and got me some grilled swai. The grilled swai came in such big portions - with a side of rice and salad topped with delicious pickled cucumber. My significant other got a lobster roll thay came on a Hawaiian like bread instead of your typical white roll. The lobster roll combo seemed like a smaller portion than the grilled dish...looked a bit underwhelming but filled us up nonetheless.

Tasty food and nice environment. We went during happy hour, which is EVERYDAY from 3-6pm. Large selection of food AND drinks including draft beers. The chower fries is awesome, and the salmon Burger is juicy, tasty and have a unique taste because they added pickled onions to it. Will be back in no time!

Sushi Nishi Ya is a hidden gem located in a strip mall, offering exclusive fixed-price omakase meals. The restaurant's authentic and traditional environment provides an exceptional dining experience. The owners, a dedicated married couple, ensure top-grade fish and attentive service. With limited seating, making reservations is recommended to secure a table at this surprisingly fantastic sushi spot.
Excellent sushi in a traditional environment. The waitress is very Japanese and very gracious. We had the omakase set. Each individual serving was very artistic and delicious. The fish was top grade. I will definitely be back!

Excellent sushi spot in a strip mall. Absolutely fantastic, they have the real Wasabi, not the horseradish dyed green stuff that passes for Wasabi, most spots use. Friendly staff and attentive to needs. Would recommend and come back
Craig S — Google review
This is a sushi only spot. No fancy rolls. But the fish is WOW. Expertly picked. Not cheap, but delicious.
Perry K — Google review
a true gem. there are no frills here and the sushi speaks for itself. I have never had to wait for a table and the service is direct, and courteous. they provide incredible ginger that they will refill throughout your meal, so go crazy, it’s addictive. and the wasabi. freshly grated, sweet, fluffy, this is the real deal. my favorites are the sweet shrimp, the uni served with hokkaido and santa barbara side by side, the halibut, and red snapper. but it’s all very very good. every time i am seated, the waiter reminds me, no special roll, no california roll, and I couldn’t be happier.

I definitely Sushi Nishi Ya to anyone or everyone who loves Sushi!! Thee freshest and mos5 savorable Sushi you will ever taste! Master Chef Kenji and Masako are such wonderful people, totally worth the $$$$.

The food is top notch. But it is VERY expensive. Me and my wife did the chef's choice and left over $400 there. Once in a lifetime experience that will probably stay that way.

Almost don’t want to review, lest the secret get out! Truly outstanding sushi. I challenge you to find better in the $50-100 price range. Will definitely become a regular here.

If you're on the hunt for a vibrant and laid-back dining experience, look no further than Mariscos Mi Lindo Sinaloa. Established in 2003 by Joaquin Lopez, a shrimp distributor hailing from Sinaloa, this eatery brings the essence of coastal Mexican cuisine to Los Angeles. With its focus on fresh seafood and authentic flavors, you can indulge in dishes like their zesty aguachile verde that perfectly balances lime and spice.
I enjoy coming here for my lunch break. The young lady, Monzerat, provides such a friendly service. She is really attentive and overall makes the eating experience welcoming and enjoyable. The food is great as well! Overall a great place to get a bite to eat.

The live music was fun. The food was okay. The meat is not good quality. The rice was cold. The server that attended us was the manager and she gave us the worst experience ever. I came with my mom and sister to enjoy some music after work and the manager did not bother to smile once throughout our visit. She was giving my sister a drink and she left her straw on the other end of the table. I asked for the check and she ignored me. The other servers were the ones who told her I was waiting. I spoke with her at the end of the visit and let her know that I also work in restaurant and I understand she can have a rough day but that her service was terrible and it really messed up my visit. Instead of an apology, she came up with a million excuses as to why she’s right. It was truly disappointing to see this behavior from a manager. I did not get her name but I am aware she was the only manager at the time of my visit on 11/23 at around 11pm.

This seafood spot serves some of the best shrimp cocktails I’ve had in LA County. The portions are generous and super fresh. I got the tostada mixta and it was packed with flavor. The place isn’t fancy, but it’s clean and lively with great music playing. Perfect for a casual lunch or family dinner.

Worst experience ever I live in TN and was visiting the area and stopped at this place with family party of 13 and we all ordered food all was awful cold and not even close to what we ordered and saw at menu we also decided to order two shots of tequila double and was never informed they charged $137.12 for two shots and when told the waitress she was just rude and said you should have asked for price and I told her If that was the price you should have asked before bringing it r out rediculles also a small margarita there costs $15 most expensive margarita I’ve had we were also getting charger for a tequila shot we did not even order it was a total of $621.47 we paid I will be reporting this business to business barreau.

Great Place if you like drinking beer while listening to live music! They have sports playing on the TV's and they also have a bar. They have HOT waiters!! :o... Try the tacos gobernador with shrimp in a chipotle sauce. 10/10 Would reccomend

The food was ok. Had a sticker pop up in my 7 mares last night, i didnt even notice it until it ended up on my spoon. Cooks need to do better and make sure it doesnt happen again. Better that than a hair seriously! Other than that, music is blasting, everyone is screaming.. drinks were good. I interacted with 4 staff, 2 super friendly. 1 so so. 1 seemed stuck up. All in all. If you want to come and have a good family time. Dont come here. If you want to enjoy your evening with live music, listening to tipsy girls screaming for attention while u enjoy your drinks to banda. This is the place for you!

La Bella Pinseria Romana is a delightful gem nestled in Glendale, California, perfect for those who appreciate genuine Italian fare. This charming eatery specializes in Pinsa, a traditional Roman-style pizza that boasts a light and crispy crust crafted from an exclusive blend of flours. The menu is brimming with enticing toppings like fresh mozzarella, prosciutto crudo, and rich tomato sauce that elevate each dish to new heights.
This is our family's absolute favorite pizza (pinsa) place. If you're tired of the usual Domino's-type pizza joints and want something lighter, healthier, more authentic and most delicious, try La Bella. The dough crust is so delicate, not thick & heavy like the others. And the toppings are eclectic & esoteric for the States but authentic for Italy. The owner, Belle, and her husband have a wonderful, quiet restaurant, perfect to bring out-of-town visitors to enjoy quality Glendale cuisine.

Went for dinner then for lunch on a second day both times the food was absolutely delicious ;the pizza is made with an airy dough that is I believe 75% water and the rest is sourdough. It has the best crunch and when you dip it in the fettuccine Alfredo cream sauce, it taste mouthwatering I would recommend this place to anybody and everybody everything is made fresh to order with amazing ingredients that you can taste. If you have the pleasure of meeting the owner Belle she is the sweetest kindest soul !

We went for dinner for the first time yesterday night and we were impressed by the quality of the food. They were really busy with Christmas groups dining there and even with that they offered a good service. The meatballs and the truffle fries are amazing. Pinsas are good too! Thank you. God bless this place and all people working there :)

Visited twice for dinner and once for lunch while staying in Glendale recently. Staff were awesome. Food was wonderful. The bone marrow and the black mussels especially. My daughter is a very fussy eater and insisted we come back as she loved the rigatoni and truffle fries. Would love to come back on a future visit.

I was craving Italian and we made a stop here with my husband. The food was so amazing and delicious we can’t wait to go back. We got the octopus appetizer and Caesar salad. Then we got the fungi pizza which was the best pizza I have bit into crispy and just so tasty , then we got the fettuccine Alfredo and short ribs pasta and the meat was so tender it melted in your mouth. The service was great and attentive our waiter was awesome. This place needs more credit it’s worth it.

Five-Star Review for California Fish Grill - Glendale, CA I had an absolutely fantastic experience at California Fish Grill in Glendale! The seafood was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. I have always driven by this place, but never really gave much thought to it. With my father a few weeks ago and decided to try it out. Have to say that my biggest regret is not trying it any sooner. The fish is extremely fresh and very tasty. From the seared, tuna, halibut, salmon and many others, there’s a wide variety of tasty food to choose from. Also, their fries are extremely great and you can customize them as you’d like. I think service was a bit lacking given that you had to place the order yourself on a QR code and then pick up the food yourself. So you are essentially your own server. As far as atmosphere goes, I think it’s actually great for a fish place. However, it’s a little bit out of place given that it’s in a mini-mall and hidden. Food - 14/20 Service - 4/10 Atmosphere - 5/10 Total - 23/40

I had an amazing experience at this fish restaurant! I ordered the salmon, shrimp Caesar salad, and fries — everything was absolutely delicious. The salmon was perfectly cooked and flavorful, the shrimp were fresh and juicy, and the fries were crispy and golden. The portions were surprisingly big, and the prices were super affordable. Great value for the quality and taste! Highly recommend if you’re craving seafood without breaking the bank. Will definitely be coming back!

Good food, large portion. They have 2 self ordering kiosks, which provide menu photos for food. Ordered the fish, shrimp, + chips with kale slaw.
Crystal S — Google review
Dear California Fish Grill Management, I am writing to share my concerns about recent experiences at your restaurant. The kiosks for ordering are very difficult to use, especially for older customers, and your staff consistently refuse to take orders directly, which is frustrating. Additionally, I’ve observed patrons bringing dogs into the restaurant without enforcement of your service animal policy. I confronted an employee about this, and he said all dogs are allowed. Another staff member even pet the dog, raising hygiene concerns—I've uploaded a photo as proof. This practice is unsafe and uncomfortable for many guests. I hope you will address these issues by improving staff training on service animal policies and offering easier ordering options. Thank you for your attention, and I look forward to seeing positive changes. Food also in not consistent in taste.

This was our first time visiting, and we will definitely be back. We didn’t make reservations but were fortunate to find space at the bar, which was a delightful experience. The chefs and staff are exceptional. Overall, it was a great experience! If you decide to come, be sure to make reservations in advance, as this restaurant is small, and wait times can be lengthy.

The Cavi sushi was such a treat. Everything we ordered was fresh, beautifully presented, and delicious. The variety of sushi rolls and nigiri was impressive, the fish was incredibly fresh, and the flavors were perfectly balanced. The rainbow roll stood out for its vibrant presentation and clean, delicate taste. We also tried the teriyaki chicken, which was tender, flavorful, and paired wonderfully with the greens. The edamame appetizer came with a unique twist, we got the garlic flavor which was great. The atmosphere was cozy and small, and the staff were friendly.
Mehrshad E — Google review
Walking distance from Americana at Brand, Cavi Sushi feels like a hidden gem amongst Glendale’s many dining options. Arriving with a group of friends and kids, the staff was immediately accommodating to make sure we were able to sit together by combining two tables - a very nice gesture. We ordered a miso soup, shrimp tempura and beef gyoza for my daughter who loved her food. My wife and I leaned into mostly citrus-themed options by ordering the Tuna Lemon, Salmon Lime and Atomic rolls as well as an Orange Salmon sashimi. All were unbelievably delicious. The best part of the rolls is the balance - the rice isn’t overwhelming and the rolls aren’t too big so you don’t feel like you’re eating too much and getting uncomfortably full like you would at many sushi spots. The Orange Salmon sashimi with the pomegranate sauce was a unique flavor that went really well together. Of the four things we ordered, the Salmon Lime was my favorite but I’d recommend them all. To top it off, the chef sent over a complimentary Red Snapper Nigiri. I’ve never tried red snapper before and let’s just say I will now be trying red snapper because this was delicious. Do yourselves a favor and get it.

Our waitress’ recommendations for sake were spot-on, and she went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Also they warned us about a super spicy roll which was nice, for our daughter’s sake! :) Overall, Cavi exceeded my expectations in every way.
