I came here for brunch, as I saw that they serve Salmon Egg Benedict. Unfortunately, it wasn’t available. However, they were kind enough to cook for me a custom omelette with vegetables and cheese, and a side of toast and butter. It was the indeed very good. Also, their coffee is good. The place is very quiet and peaceful, and the service is beyond excellent. Recommend!

Best breakfast I have had in Bulgaria 🇧🇬 😋 the salad had a zingy dressing the eggs we fresh and the waffle was nice and crisp. We'll worth a visit. Outside it looks like nothing when you get inside it's like a mannhattan restaurant.

Much better places to go to. Avoid. Walked in staff didn't say there was an interview going on when I arrived. Sat down 10 minutes waiting while staff there knew I was waiting never asked me or told me that they won't serve. If manager was interviewing , blonde woman, she should know you tell customer coming in that they are not open even though door unlocked and it's open on times. Good luck with interview candidate. Maybe manager needs to learn customer care.

I came at Teahouse from Slovenia for workshops (youth center); I really liked the place, very friendly, unique, with a lot of space. The food was delicious, everytime something new.

We just ordered a portion of fries with some sause but they were well seasoned and cooked. The place wasn't as cheap as Google maps made it out to be with its single € currency sign, especially with most sandwiches and salads for 6-7€, its more like standard German prices. The staff seemed a largely indifferent, too was strange. It could have been the language barrier but eye contact and a smile is universal, so that was the main reason for star deductions. Friendly cat roams the cafe too which I liked.

Found the Social Teahouse while looking for a coworking space in Varna. Turned out that the coworking is with a specific status for open use due to Covid-19, but the host at the cafe was super nice and helpful in assisting me to feel comfortable and work in a pleasant environment. Internet is stable and adequate. They offer a short menu of sandwiches, pancakes, bagels, cupcakes, eggs. Freshly prepared lemonade and good coffee. Quite cozy and welcoming. Cards are accepted. Bet the story behind the "social" element is worth it.

Biggest downside in Bulgaria is that everyone smokes 🚬 everywhere. Disgusting habit to smoke indoors you smell on a ashtray. All Europe people follow rules but in Bulgaria everyone is above the law. The bar It's small and crowded, I don't enjoy the inside at all, but the outside tables are a pleasant place to relax when the weather is nice. Depends also on the music though, sometimes is just noise- too loud and annoying. The menu is full with colourful and fun drinks, a lot of them called cocktails but honestly, to me they all taste the same- kind of bland and almost no alcohol; also there is some kind of sirop in each one of them, so even if it's supposed to be sour it's more likely to be sweet. The staff is ok, all of them are polite and smiling, some are also fun, but the service is a bit slow. There is life music and it seems that a lot of people like it, so try it if you are in this kind of things.

The place is great - they often host live music with some truly talented performers. The cocktails are good and the service is decent. One thing to keep in mind: during summer, most people understandably prefer to sit outside, while the live music takes place inside. This means the audience can be small, but the atmosphere is still fun and enjoyable.

I just had late breakfast here. Good Omelette with different kind of cheeses, and a cafe Americano. Also, a small bottle of water. The waiter was struggling with his English, but managed to serve me in an excellent friendly way. Nice seating area, and at night , it turns into a live music bar that is worth visiting! Recommend.

I thought it wouldn't be fair to leave a 1 star review just based on my experience during the last year but this would've been well deserved. Frequenting The Brick for the last 5 years I was overall satisfied. The service was the only weak link. Nowadays the service is even worse. Waitresses dashing around not bothering to look around the tables and take orders. The drinks are getting progressively smaller and leave you with the feeling of being conned. The only redeeming part are the artists performing there. My 2 star rating is an average. 4 stars 5 years ago, 3 stars 2-3 years ago and 1 star now. Really sad.

Normally I like the brick bar in the City, but this time the Margarita was very, very disappointing. It tastes just like lemon juice and it was very little inside (but for this time, it was good, because as said the taste was awful). I went to the bar and said it was not good and it is not enough, but the bartender said it is good and enough. That was the last time I go to that place and I have to say I was here several times for the last 12 years.

Delightful & Relaxing Cafe A very nice cafe in a beautiful historic building and garden within walking distance to the train station and shopping area. There are delicious menus with reasonable prices that you can eat and drink throughout the day, especially my favorite is the smash cheese burger and the service quality is very good. The staff is friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Best breakfast spot in the center of Varna. The menu had plenty of options, and ordering was super easy, you just add items to the cart and everything comes straight to your table. The food was fresh and tasty, especially the sun-dried tomato and cheese toast which I highly recommend.

Great place for brunch. Meals are delicious, lots of proteins. Service is very friendly. The only downside: ordering via QR code. While it’s efficient, sometimes annoying when you have wishes throughout your mail/want to order more drinks.

Top recommendation! I spent several days here back-to-back and feel like I tried almost everything on the menu – and everything was perfectly seasoned and absolutely delicious. What really surprised me: even the lunch menu is great! The schnitzel is excellent, and the soups are fantastic. Also a great spot to get some work done – the waitresses are super friendly and quick. If I had to nitpick: the grilled cheese would be even better with a garlic or truffle mayo instead of ketchup.

For it was first time coming to Varna and personally I love brunch restaurants. I was a little bit disappointed because of the service. Waiters did not bring water to the table, since they are mostly working with the QR menu, I believe that water should be always brought on the table without it being ordered. About the food, it was super tasty, everything was seasoned really well. Presentation wise there is a lot of room for improvement as we can see on the pictures bellow.

I didn't try the coffee but the pastries are otherworldly (and obscenely cheap), especially anything that has dulce de leche. The sandwiches are very small, so make sure to buy several or come here only if you want a quick bite, but their cheese-filled dough is incredible. The smoothies were also very good, clearly natural and made on the spot, but not very sweet. The place itself is lovely but sometimes it might get crowded.

Fantastic coffee! It was so good that we walked for 30 minutes to have another cup the next day. Their sweets and sandwiches are also delicious. Pao de queijo sandwiches are a must. And everything is done with such love and care that you want to come back.

It's not just a coffee shop, it's a story. We loved the coffee and the home made deserts. We'll come back for the atmosphere. The barista was friendly, we felt welcomed. Not only is this the best coffee in Bulgaria! But it's also a dive into the Brazilian culture and atmosphere. And absolute must to visit! The food is also amazing! And for the coffee lovers, they do sell their own fresh coffee beans.

We made a quick stop in Varna and we were lucky enough to find this place. DELICIOUS Brazilian food, best “Pao de Queijo” ever. Coffee was also amazing just like everything else we tried. Such a nice host and cozy atmosphere. I’m glad I brought some coffee home with me. Congratz for having such a nice place so rich in Brazilian culture 😍

THE best place in Varna for a delicious cup of coffee. Reasonably priced, with very nice barista and an awesome Brasilian atmosphere. They offer very nice unusual sweets too.

Amazing coffee, nice owner. We went to this place twice during our 2 day stay in Varna because we liked it so much. The Brazilian desserts were also amazing. Also I recommend pao de queijo! Great snack. Acai was also great and not too sweet. Highly recommend, it’s way better than other cafes around. :)

2024 had cherry pie. Taste good, not too sweet. The base is a dry biscuit type, not really a pie? 2023 Went back another day, had chocolate hazelnut and orange cake.. but it was not the same as the take out counter’s. Although they claim it to be so.. it’s nice but it’s not what I wanted exactly. Had the carrot cake (cream cheese was different from what I would have eaten) Also had lomumba. Satisfied.

The ice cream was delicious, but not 10/10. Choose an ice cream on the street, wait for a waitress to come and pay inside the cafe.

I cannot stress enough how much I love the raw cake! It is fantastic! The coffee is also great, there are multiple desserts for every taste. Nice atmosphere and service.

It’s close range to the medical university. nice place to grab a hot/iced coffee with friends and easy to approach staff! They have both sweet cakes and savoury pancakes and also cold drinks for summer heat. They have updated their interior to a nice blue theme.

They seem to have an issue with stray cats. The woman came out of the shop and started bashing the poor souls. My daughter cried.

We rented umbrella , service was at place and very kind. Food was decent, can be better. We had prawns , which were good. No loud music so was a good place to be quiet and close to the beach. WC was also clean

Very disappointed with the portion size. We sat down yesterday for more than 100 Lev, but I was left hungry. The menu states a portion of beef of 450 grams. but in fact it seems that there was not even 200 grams. The interior is good, but I do not recommend it.

It was ok. Kind of lacklustre given the money we paid. The best part of the meal was the wine hahahaha. My Tortuga Chicken felt.. interesting. The orange had gone off. I am sure the sauce was made using chicken stock and maybe a little bit of flour. Rice included was a kids portion. My girlfriend had poke bowl, which was ok. Meat was chewy. My beer was decarbonated and felt watered down. The waitress was polite and took some pictures of us when we asked. It was also INCREDIBLY WARM at 8 pm in the evening. Fantastic food with rich flavours and amazing sauces. Refreshing lemonades and a perfect beachside setting with samba music. Friendly, welcoming staff—easily my favourite restaurant on the beach.

TL;DR: got a food poisoning from one of the dishes, management did nothing to address the issue except a weak apology and an attempt to shake off the responsibility. We visited El Kapan on September 22, at 19:30PM, with my mother and stepfather. First off, the restaurant was half empty, and despite my mother booking a specific table in advance, someone was occupying it - the staff excused themselves by saying they forgot to put a 'reserved sign. We sat down at another table. The food was served fast, but the waiter didn't ask if we'd like to be served all at once (we ordered different dishes), or they should bring in the dishes as they were prepared. This resulted in my stepfather served first, and he had to wait for 5 to 10m before we got our dishes served as well. I had ordered grilled baby blue fish, and baby squid on a skewer. Both tasted fine, however at night I had a very bad sleep, waking up with a nausea, strong desire to vomit, and running a 37.5C fever. I did not eat any food after the dinner at El Kapan, nor have I eaten anything the day after (today), as I have no appetite whatsoever due to the fever and stomach cramps. I went to the restaurant today to politely raise the issue with the manager, explaining the story to them and asking for a refund - my mother and stepfather felt fine, so I know it must have been the baby squid or the baby blue fish because I was the only one who ate that. The manager excused himself by saying that they dont know if I got the food poisoning because of their food, or perhaps I had eaten something else that could have caused it - despite me flat out telling that I did not eat anything else after the dinner. I had asked for a refund (meal was around 50 EUR all in), to which the manager just said 'no, its not possible'. While the atmosphere is nice, I would avoid the place because of poor customer service and food quality issues.

One of my favourite restaurants in Varna. Located in 1st alley this restaurant is located at the beach 🏖️ overlooking the sea 🌊. It’s very nice and lively place. The kitchen is a mixture of Asian cuisines and Caribbean. They have live parties and music. Service is good and fast. Plenty of drinks to choose from. The atmosphere is amazing. I recommend booking table in advance to avoid disappointment.

Cannot recommend this fabulous place enough!! No need to go anywhere else! The cocktails, the sushi and the wine were all fantastic! Our waiter Samuel was the best, helping us choose a lovely Bulgarian wine, and suggesting very interesting cocktails. We will be back!

One of my favorite places in Varna. I've been time several times and everything we've was really good. Only this time I had something that wasn't really good - we were for breakfast and I had Buhtas (Бухти in Bulgarian, I'm not really sure how they translate it) and I don't recommend them. My boyfriend had Benedict eggs which were really good. I also recommend trying the S Salmon pasta - it's my favorite dish there. Their cappuccino is one of the best in Varna. The staff is also always very nice and friendly.

We hit this place by accident (rainy night and no taxi's) and felt very lucky! The food was supper delicious and the cocktails are very good! The place was full and still the service was good and we didn't wait for the food at all. The staff was cool! Thank you!

We enjoyed our anniversary dinner in The Martini Food & Cocktails Restaurant. We ordered two nice Starters, a big Sushi plate and a delicious Carrot Cake. The Spritz was good too and the waitress was friendly and professional. It’s definitely a good place to go for that price range (30-50 BGN/person).

So I have to be honest here - but it is my personal experience and subjective view of everything’s that happened. We were 6 people and made a big order. In conclusion all of us didnt like the food but we did liked the cocktails. We ordered calamari and they were dry and not crispy at all. We mentioned it to the witters and she went to the chef and came back saying he said it’s ok by the chef, without trying to understand what we didn’t like (and even though we made a big order). We tried 3 different combos (philadelphia, veggie and another one that i dont rememebr it had a wierd name) and none were good. I tried the healthy sushi ans another roll ans we didnt like it. The avocado was not fresh and was not even ready (was hard to eat) The invoices all come in Bulgarian which is hard to understand 🥺 The atmosphere was good but we saw that not a lot of people ordered food. We sat above in the terrace, the music was in Bulgarian but we liked it. I would recommend this place for drinks only and not to eat. (Even rhe adamame that we ordered was small and not hot, the arnenchini was the only starter that we liked)

The food was excellent, the staff was friendly. At first the service was a bit slow but then everything we ordered came quickly. We had Bulgarian salad, zucchini with parmesan, Katino Meze (Bulgarian dish) and falafel bowl. Everything was tasty! Most definitely recommended and worth visiting!

In one word? Woooow!!!!! I was a culinary weekend in varna, and I found out the is no culinary food in varna at all!!! Until I found this restaurant and they save my trip!!!! The cocktails was Amazing!!!! The sushi was great, and salad and ribs was fabulous. Service was professional with a big smile . The you for saving Varna's culinary side. Good job.

This place stands out because of the great atmosphere and classic/fun/kind of messy interior design. With little props everywhere. We had 2 Sundog burgers and a total of 6 drinks for about 35 Lev witch seemed very fair. The burgers were good but there were a few misunderstandings with the order although the staff spoke good English, they seemed a bit unmotivated. But in the end this was the second time in one week we went to Sundogs; meaning in my opinion this place is definitely worth a visit!

Everything was good! Broccoli in cheese sauce, spaghetti with vegetables, beef tacos, white frappe, fresh squeezed juice and beer! Light summer lunch! Portions are big enough to last only couple of hours,but they are tasty! Sure thing!

Can be crowded though, make a reservation if you want to be sure to have a table. Lots of beer and pub food also, preferred place for manu UK folks. Go try it, you won't be sorry :)

This little hidden gem of a pub is one of the best places I have visited. It offers some vegetarian options that can be tweaked into fully vegan. The beer is the coldest and the service has the best smiles.

I visited Sundogs in Varna as it used to be one of my favourite spots during my university years, and I hadn’t been back in over five years. I was really looking forward to the food and atmosphere. We arrived around 7 PM and were told that without a reservation, no tables were available. Fair enough — we said we’d wait. We noticed one empty table outside in the garden and asked if we could sit there, but were told that area wasn’t in use. A few minutes later, we saw another couple leaving and were told by a waiter that we could take their table. Just as we got settled, a different waiter came over and said the table had been promised to someone else who had arrived earlier. There was clearly no communication between the staff. By that point, it was already frustrating — we sat at two different tables and were asked to move both times. A kind man who saw what was happening offered us his table as he finished his beer — that became the third table we sat at. We could’ve sat inside, but the air conditioning wasn’t working, so we chose to wait outside. What disappointed us most wasn’t just the disorganisation, but how the staff made us feel — as if we were a nuisance rather than paying customers. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend the place to friends. It’s a shame, because I had great memories here once.

I had a really disappointing experience at this bar. The staff was unfriendly and inattentive, and it took forever to get served. The atmosphere could have been nice, but the poor service ruined it. Definitely not coming back and wouldn’t recommend it

the baristas were sooo cute and friendly. they smiled at us all the time and the coffee was so good as well. i loved the ambiance, when we ordered it took a bit because we didn’t know what to choose, but the barista was so patient and explained us what we needed to know about the coffee we wanted. we loved the experience and we will definitely go there again.

Best flat white coffee I've had in a long time or have had since posting this! Baristas know their stuff so don't be afraid to ask

I visited twice in the three days I was in Varna. If I weren't traveling light, I would've bought a bag of their coffee for my aeropress. Still tempted to order one of their 50gr sample boxes. They obviously take roasting seriously, and I believe they do it all in the shop - there's a roasting machine in front. The tables inside were all full so I know it is popular with locals and out of town people with discerning coffee standards (not intended to sound snobbish). This would probably be my go-to coffee place in town. Plenty of small tables outside on the sidewalk. Unfortunately no photos of my to-go cups.

The coffee is great, especially Guatemala. The sweets like cakes, macarons etc. are also excellent - very aromatic taste. Yummy!

Really cosy atmosphere 🥰 especially in winter ❄️ with a fireplace inside 🫶🏼 4⭐️ cause I ordered shrimps which weren’t peeled and it was really uncomfortable to peel them by hands. But all the food was absolutely amazing! Definitely coming back☺️

We were staying nearby and wanted somewhere we could walk to. We saw the reviews and decided to come to Happy House. What a delight! Such an interesting restaurant. Beautifully designed to create an 'amongst nature' feel. Extensive menu that was very affordable. We had carbonara, paella, pork ribs and risotto and they were all exceptional. The waiter and owner was very accommodating and helped to answer our questions about the menu. We finished with a superb Bailey's chocolate cake. We will be back!

Amazing atmosphere, they play bird/nature sounds through speakers instead of music. It's very "green" the terrace, being surrounded by plants/vegetation left-right-above. The food was exquisite: -duck soup - yum -chicken rice and mushrooms - yum yum - ribs - possibly one of the best I've had. - slow cooked, very tender and tasty. - lemonade with strawberry jam - yum - cheesecake with strawberry jam - yum! Prices are OK for the food quality. Service was fast. One minus- they didn't have toilet paper at the bathroom, and the bathroom is quite small. I'm a slim dude, but someone at +100kg might struggle to fit.

I must say that I was pleasantly surprised with the place. The interior is very romantic. The quality of the food served and the service provided was excellent! Definitely will visit again!

Beautiful outside seating with lots of greenery and flowers! We ate dinner here with a company of 3 and were satisfied. The waiter also did an incredible job serving us and making sure everything went well. Thank you, we will be coming back for sure!!

The owner is a very pleasant man who describes himself as “a local Scouser!” 😄 The atmosphere was great, full of local, and non-local LFC fans, the beer was very good value. No smoking is allowed inside the bar (thankfully!!). N.B. You cannot pay by card, it is cash only. YNWA

Great find to watch the football on a Sunday afternoon. Owner helped us out re parking. He wasn't quite ready to open for the start of the 4pm game but let us in so we didn't miss a minute. Provided us with Serrano ham,compliments of the bar. Will definitely be returning in the near future.

Nice atmosphere, live football games, it has outdoor and indoor tables. Nice choice of local and imported beer. They make their own beer, too. It offers food at affordable prices. Often smoking is allowed inside. Bathroom is a disaster.

My daughter and I walked into this café by chance — and it turned out to be a nice surprise! The interior is lovely, and the view of the beach is just breathtaking. We took the staff’s recommendation and ordered fish, grilled vegetables, and a glass of wine. Everything was fresh and full of flavor — absolutely delicious. A seafood lover’s paradise! Every fish dish I’ve tried here has been fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. From grilled fillets to rich seafood pastas, the quality and taste are consistently outstanding.

JUL2025: one of the nicest beach restaurants in Varna; the choice of salads was superb and we loved the grilled fish we ordered (sea bream); really great service too, very attentive and most hard working - even if/when they are understaffed and extra busy. Well done to the crew!

The raspberry ice cream was very tasty, which really liked the raspberry. Hot chocolate and cappuccino were also delicious.

The food was good but the service was rather disappointing. The tone and manner of the server was anything but professional. He also got annoyed that I didn’t know their lunch menu is available until 14:30, even though he gave me a menu with the lunch dishes….. Also, an entire page of their menu is dishes with mussels, they didn’t have any mussels at 16:00 PM. The restaurant is a bit pricey too.

We were finally able to place an order after waiting 25 minutes for service. Unfortunately, after waiting an additional 30 minutes and inquiring about when we might receive our two coffees, the waitress responded that she couldn’t promise anything. At that point, we decided to leave.

People are smoking inside. So your clothes smell like cigarettes afterwards. Cocktails are nice. They have shisha tobacco.

This place just shows what the difference in good service and naff service does. 2 stars are only as the expresso and coffee were fine and the view was nice. Service is none existent with blank looks and a true struggle to get a bill. No food to speak of and the outside area must have been used during the 2nd World War as a test gas chamber the smoking was truly sooo bad. Even after we got the bill noone came to get our money so we just left it there and bogged off. Honestly to say it was useless gives it more credit than it needs.

Nice place with a lot of dishes, meat, salads, sweets etc. Good atmosphere with good music. Tasty and fresh food. There is place where kids can play. Prices are good, for 3 persons: main course+salad average price is 30-35 Leva. Fresh and modern interior, during spring-summer seasons there is summer terrace. Outside smoking are permitted. Gas station is near by, good place if you make stop for refueling during your trip and want to have a meal.

Absolutely amazing food. We found this place on google, when we tried to find out traditional cheese cake (i think it is called banica). We absolutely love it !!! Is so tasty and cheap ! Portions are massive, and owner lady is suchd lovely lady. I absolutely recomend that place !!!

We are little bit disappointed! We ordered Bubblegum shake,Oreo shake, Lemon cake(was good) and Raspberry cake and some waters! The shakes were good looking, but definitely were pre-made, not with real ingredients! Definitely more chemicals than the real stuff in it! The stuff was a bit strange. Also the toilets was in very bad condition, maybe because was the end of the work day?!

The food was delicious, the drinks were fine, very cosy, but the absolutely appalling service spoiled it all. The waitress had no idea what sorts ot tea they offer and just brought some. Orders got forgotten, no friendly face, couldn't carry more than two things, quite clumsy. No please, no thank you even after the little tip (which wasn't even earned). Never again! P.S. Oh, and the cup was dirty and she even looked at it before placing it on the table 😧

Disappointing Experience at Endorfino Café, Varna I was really looking forward to visiting Endorfino Café in Varna, but unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. While the cakes were indeed delicious, the service was unacceptable. During our visit, the staff rudely interrupted us while we were eating and insisted that we move to another table. The reason? They had made a mistake and failed to reserve a table they were supposed to. Instead of handling the situation professionally, they pressured us in an unkind and intrusive manner, making us feel very uncomfortable. Good food is important, but good service is just as crucial for a positive experience. Sadly, the rude and unprofessional attitude of the staff completely ruined our visit. I won’t be coming back.

The smoking area is no different from the non-smoking area. It's impossible to breathe. Also, the food isn't very fresh. But what upset me the most was the smell of smoke and nicotine. It was just awful.

Best cakes in the city, delicious and fresh, vast choice and all kind of type- cakes, waffles or huge melbas- whatever your heart desires! There are also few salads and bruschetti, so if you crave sweet and your company wants something salty- there you go :) Good choice of beverages also, non alcoholic lemonades are great, as well as the offered cocktails. Just cake it ;)

Nice bar, mostly visited by locals. Occasionally, there is a male opera singer who performs outside the bar, which is awesome! I guess he is a frequent visitor of this bar. In the summer you can also sit outside. The bartender speaks English.

Had a great conversation with the Barista Damien this morning… lovely kid with a great personality. He also literally saved this place from a one star review. (But I won’t go into that as if I was the owner I would have fired the person who almost caused it) Good coconut cappuccino and nice decor in a good location! If you pop in have a chat with Damien it will brighten your day!

Great place directly on the beach. Music is usually very enjoyable. Staff very professional and relaxed at the same time. You can feel that they have been around for a while. Lots of space in September to work, so you don't feel your are taking up space.

Cubo is probably everyone’s favourite spot in Varna — it’s definitely been one of mine for years. Sadly, my most recent experience really let me down. I ordered a Coke Zero, but the bartender mistakenly opened a regular Coke. When I pointed it out, instead of simply replacing it, he replied with a sarcastic, “You think you’ll consume less sugar? Haha,” in a very dismissive and irritating tone. Then my cousin tried to order an elderflower lemonade and simply asked for “an elderflower,” to which the bartender snapped, “We don’t have such a thing.” The only drink on the menu with elderflower flavour is elderflower lemonade — so he clearly knew what we meant. My cousin is local and orders it the same way every time. Only after some back-and-forth did the bartender say “OK.” It really felt like he was going out of his way to turn a simple order into an uncomfortable interaction. It’s such a shame to see someone with such a negative attitude serving at a place known for its chilled, welcoming vibe. I truly hope this was just a one-off — but unfortunately, it affected how I feel about coming back.

Even the season is almost over, you can enjoy beer, great Mohitos , White Frappe and Diaquiri! People are here ,the cats and the seagulls are here! The mood is perfect for a few last drinks, stuff is always ready to help to make your day better! When i visited the place with friends, at first i was enthralled with the view. A bit later i realized that the whole place was atmospheric because of the great decoration. Coffee, alcohol , music and service ....it was all perfect! !! 9years now and I still feel it home.

Nice place but it allows smoking inside. It has some tall tables and some short table booths. Place has regular events and scene for musicians and djs. But the sound system was bad. It has less bass, maybe because of the bar being located inside a residential building. It can be improved. Cocktails were nice

Nice location, pleasant stuff, but the food is mediocre. For example the Cesar salad, iceberg was yellow, not fresh, the sauce was not good, the chicken was fine. I have tried chicken fillet with patato - really mediocre taste. Probably good place for coffee and drinks, but kitchen is far from from good.

Out of all the beach bars in Varna, this was our favorite! Very nicely decorated, the staff is always helpful and alert. The food and the drinks are at a reasonable price and big quantities, even if you get just two appetizers it will be enough. The view to the beach is nice and it s a great place to sit back, relax, and enjoy the breeze 🫶🏻

I am an asian female solo travellers , it is my first time to visit Bulgaria and I come to enjoy the beach in Varna, I come to eat lunch in this bar and sitting at the bar. I did not like the service here I did not feel welcomed, staff never smile, not friendly and big guy from the bar staff ( bar tender) who served me with food at the bar where is was sitting next to him,, he was grumpy ,not friendly, look serious And he was really rude and made me in tear because I asked for tobasco spicy sauce ,which yesterday I eat here and they gave to me but today I come back again and I ask for tobasco spicy sauce again but he refused to give to me and said that he did not have it, and I was not sure why he said that as yesterday I had it and I asked other staff who took my order and he said he had it and will give to me when the food comes , so I explained to this grumpy big man that I had it yesterday and, suddenly he was angry and answer me by shoutting at me so lound and said today he did not have! and walk away from me and left me in shock! I I felt upset and embarrassed with people arounde heard it looked at me as he shouted quite loud and other staffs in the bars look at me , no one seems to care how he made me in tear, and I could not eat much after he treated me this bad And he made me cried! I could not finish my food as I felt upset 😢 ....not need for him to talked to me like that!! Feel really disappointed to come here and he ruin my good time by made me in tears! I would never come back to this place again!

It's a very nice beach. The season is open, you can swim in the sea and hangout comfortably. The prices are very reasonable for a beach. Also, the sun loungers and seans are very comfortable.

Pretty nice atmosphere, good menu and really good tiramisu in a jar! We were in smoking area which in my opinion was of really bad ventilation. At least it was really warm. I saw some ladies with their pets - small size dogs were not a problem in the area.

We stayed in July 2025, during a road trip along the coast of Bulgaria and Romania. We paid €200 per night and it doesn’t even have its own pool. The rooms look like they’re straight out of the 1970s: they’re spacious, with a decent bed and a clean bathroom, but at that price you expect more. Breakfast was the worst part: very few edible options and a coffee that was basically undrinkable. On the positive side, the location is excellent (not the views): right in front of the beach and surrounded by well-set-up beach bars to hang out. Also, the reception staff were professional and very friendly. Even so, at that rate I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

I stayed here alone for a conference and I found it to be quite nice. The room was the cheapest single room, but it was still quite spacious and with a decently-sized bathroom. It was quite clear that someone was cleaning it daily and I did not feel anything was missing during my stay. I also loved the breakfast options, I think there is a lot to choose from, with both classic options (eggs in various forms, toast, ham etc) and some local/specific stuff. Reception staff was nice, too; they answered any question i had. Overall I would definitely recommend this place and/or come here again. Not to mention, you walk outside and straight on the beach within a minute!

We stayed with my mother at the Panorama Hotel from 08.08.25 to 15.08.25. We really enjoyed the room and the service (cleanliness, polite and responsible staff who speak English and Russian at a decent level). Umbrellas, sunbeds, and beach towels were provided free of charge for hotel guests. In addition to breakfasts, we ordered lunch to the room. We also booked a transfer. I rate all the hotel services very highly. A few words about the location of Panorama Hotel: it is situated in the tourist and resort area of Varna. 5 minutes to the beach, 5 minutes to the port (boat trips), 5 minutes to the amusement park. There is a public transport stop, a promenade, and many seaside cafés right next to the hotel. Walking from the hotel towards the city center, you can find a working pharmacy. In the city center, we found one occasionally open currency exchange office. Fortunately, it is possible to pay by card at the hotel and in most boutiques. As already mentioned several times in other reviews, there is no kettle in the room. There are also no water coolers in the hotel. Since the hotel has a beach status, it would be nice to have a drying rack for swimsuits in the room. Drying clothes on the railings of French balconies overlooking the main street feels inappropriate, but hotel guests have no other option.

I just stopped by this hotel for breakfast and it was great experience. Everything you fancy for Bulgarian breakfast you can find in their buffet, plenty of choices and fruits! And the staff in the reception and restaurant are very welcoming . Thank you. Will visit again.

It's a beautiful hotel with very friendly staff. The valet who parks the cars is world class. Right there when you need him and his driving skills are tip-top. His name was Valeri, best man.

We loved Varna and The Panorama Hotel. Perfect for everything. 5 star at reception. 5 star Massage. 5 star location and room view, etc.. There is chees at lobby, what was a great fun too. But, 0 star for people who was dealing with food. It is not Vegan or Vegetarian friendly, at all. People who serves food should speak English very well to explaing the ingredients respecting people's diet and health is vital for a good food experience and for health & safety as well. The staff said to me go to the supermarket when I said that I was looking for a better vegetarian experience... Can you believe on that??? "Hotel Panorama goes green", as it is written on the breakfast wall. Not yet... Hope, so... I will be back, because even with these difficulties I loved Varna and Hotel Panorama experience.

This looks and feels like a boutique hotel, and it is priced so. The rooms are pleasant, the service is great, the staff is very professional and friendly. The small cafeteria downstairs is charming and the sandwiches they make are really great – for breakfast, lunch or dinner. If this was our entire experience, we would gladly give this hotel 5 stars and recommend it. If you have a car, parking close to the hotel is impossible, you’ll have to drive around town to find where to park it. But, what really spoiled our experience was the awful odor in the bathroom, which was not that noticeable when we checked in – probably because both the room and the bathroom had been thoroughly aired and refreshed. However, as we kept the bathroom closed, the odor inside became increasingly awful to the extent we could not use the bathroom anymore. The staff explained they know about the issue and are in the process of replacing floor siphons to address it. Hence, our recommendation is – make sure you will get a room where this is done, or stay away from this hotel until it is. We will gladly revisit when this is done.

Fantastic styled diner and very nice rooms. We were greeted by the hotel owner who was very professional and well mannered. This stay made Varna a lot more appealing and remains to be a highlight of our European trip :) I have no complaints with this place.

Room was clean and comfortable. Absolutely best value for your money right downtown in beautiful Varna. My wife and I stayed here in November 2021.

Appalling this hotel is only 1 to 2 star . Room dirty smells of tobacco, No hot water. Balcony the size of small shelf. Air conditioning makes loud squeal like drilling metal. Door not shutting. Beds hard. Refused refund. Staff friendly but the management is lazy for not addressing the problems.

I am not satisfied with the service in the breakfast area, at the bar, or in the outdoor pool area. The staff at breakfast couldn't agree on where I should pay. The older, red-haired waitress seemed very unfriendly to me; she should have moderated her tone a bit and been more courteous to the customer. She didn't speak German or English. Nevertheless, she seemed very unfriendly (2025).

They gave us room in the old building which is was very spacious with balcony looking to the forest part that was nice, but the bathroom gets very dirty because the curtain can’t keep the water. The breakfast and the restaurant if I can call it like this is are for 1-2 star hotel. We liked the location as its walking distance from Main Street and that they had free parking options.

Had a pistachio cake and an eclair. Both were nice. Happy to come again. There are seats indoors and outside as well, but the ice cream machine makes too loud sounds and is quite scary.

The pistachio cake is soooooo yummy!! I read all of the great reviews so I thought that I should take a walk there on my way back from the Roman Baths of Odessos. The bakery was large and inviting with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I don't speak Bulgarian so it was great that the staff was able to help me in English and explained all of the options to me. I opted for the pistachio cake which was delicious. It had a light chocolate (like the cake that is in German chocolate cake) and pistachio cream. Definitely worth a stop!

Great spot to do your work on a notebook and enjoy a coffee with sweet, or have your breakfast at. The choice of juices, sweets and coffees is really big. 2 cakes and 2 coffees costed us almost 20 leva which is little bit high price. White frappe wasn't nice and I had a headache after it. Also staff should be more warm. They seemed to be annoyed or done with the work.

We visited on a Sunday afternoon and really enjoyed it. The staff was very friendly, the coffee was excellent, and the sweet bites were delicious. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect for relaxing. We also noticed that some people were working there, so it’s a nice spot whether you’re meeting friends or getting things done. ☕️

The atmosphere is so calm and warm. I can get so much work done here. Plus the drinks are good and the location is very central. I sometimes pick up coffee beans here too because they get their coffee from an excellent local roastery.

Not bad if you fancy this American brand. Coffee is fine, some interesting sweets. The main “issue” is that coffee shops are on every corner in southern Europe and bug chains like this cannot truly compete because at the end this is a chain without local character Not bad at the end.

I went to this place for breakfast and was very impressed by the selection of healthy food options such as smoothies, fresh juices and sandwiches. I wanted a tofu sandwich but it contained the sauce with olives which I did not eat. The waitress kindly suggested me to change it to a "ljutenitca" sauce. It turned out to be so delicious. The interior was very nice too with lots of plants and cute antiques objects. I will definitely come back!

This place is amazing 🤩 great smoothies, coffee, sandwiches, salads, vegan cookies...I couldn't stop eating and enjoying the delicious drinks. They use first class products so everything is top notch. The prices are rather low fur the quality.

The buns are fine, kind of in the middle. They aren’t special, each bun has the same filling and base (no special cream inside for the different kinds). What differentiates each version is just the topping. I’ve been to cinemom in Sofia and there they are prices the same as in this place but the buns are much better. To me they were a bit overpriced, I would price them at 6-7 lev to match the quality

The cinnamon rolls were generally good. We also had iced lattes, but they were nothing special. The service was nice, although the cashier was a little grumpy. The place doesn’t have much seating, inside it’s quite narrow, with only two tables. If people are waiting in line and more customers arrive, they have to wait outside. Outside, there are around three or four tables. Overall, the interior was just okay.

Good taste, cinnamons aren’t dry, not too much cream, not overwhelming with multiple tastes. Service is real good. Will try again sometime, definitely recommend if you didn’t try them before. A lot of places in Varna could take a page out of their book regarding service.

The cinnamon roll is nice, but coffee was disappointing 😞. My latte was cold. When Barista was approached and asked about it he stated "this is his standard". Frothed milk should be between 55°c-65°C. No apology at all. Being a barista my self since I was 16 just by touching you know exactly the temp it needs to be. If you're a barista you know what I'm talking about. The lady in the counter was nice hence the star is 3. Food was great. Just need a hot coffee for a cold day. Hubby ended up drinking the coffee.

After visiting this patisserie / bakery. We were very surprised. An inconspicuous little cafe in the middle of a quiet street surprised us a lot. Very pleasant and clean place and friendly service. The cakes, pralines and coffee were absolutely amazing. I recommend a visit.

This is a very nice place to visit! There is lots of choice of top quality, tasty food, which is all very fresh and made with quality ingredients! There is plenty of great coffee available too. The de-caff Americano I had is one of the best I’ve had anywhere, highly recommended. There are a few places inside to sit, but because it is a small unit the majority of seating is outside. Comfortable chairs and tables outside create a lovely, relaxing area to enjoy your food and drink whilst people watching. There is even a great statue on a bench nearby to enjoy too. What really makes this place so special though is the staff. They are all very pleasant, happy to see you and to help you too. This café is highly recommended, don’t miss out.

One of the best meals I had in Bulgaria! Plus points for: - amazing atmosphere, as its built on top of ruins which you can actually access. - very friendly staff! We were less impressed, than what has been said about this place. We went there because of the cottage cheese pancakes. We were the only guests at around 11 AM, many of the dishes or teas were not available. We had to change our choices several times, no pelmeni at all, several pancakes unavailable, no buckthorn tea. Of the Cottage cheese pancakes there was only one portion left, we were four people, that was a completely no go for us and we insisted on more. The waiter made it possible to get some more from a “secret” place, so at least everyone was satisfied in that regard. One more bummer was the waiting time for our dishes, in the end one of us had to wait 40 min for simple scrambled eggs. Out choices of hot drinks came with the first food… overall I wouldn’t come back to this place, felt quite disappointed till the end, where they couldn’t even give out cash :( If this place is so famous for its food, they shall do a better job in keeping up with their menu.

We’ve been the only visitors, and we wait for 30 minutes for some pancakes, that’s annoying when you have limited time!

One of the cosiest places and friendliest staff in Varna. Coffee is great, they handpick all their drinks. You can definitely find something new and interesting to try every time you go. What I like the most is the events they host: Vinyl parties, DnB, with some really good local DJs. They also house art exhibitions and book promotions. They still do not offer food: just nuts and cookies. But there are some nice restaurants nearby. Really worth paying a visit when you are in Varna.

Very good hospitality and the idea behind it is amazing

DIO is a very small roastery with excellent coffee and very friendly staff. They serve excellent cappuccinos, and other espresso coffees, but their primary business is roasting the beans. So there is no seating indoors, and just a concrete retaining wall for seating outside. Nonetheless, this is one of my favourite coffee stops in Varna, and it is very popular among the neighbourhood locals for delicious take-away!

The people who run this roastery clearly know their stuff. Dio is the only representative of Comandante grinders in Bulgaria. I bought one on the owner's advice and couldn't be happier. He went into great detail about the pros and cons of the different models and even sent me some complimentary goodies 😉 I can't wait to visit their location in Varna, hopefully this summer.

Love proper coffee. Not 3-in-1, not Starbucks, not Nespresso, not Senseo nor whatever journey the friendly chemists of BASF have decided to take us on, but coffee from coffee beans. Freshly roasted, freshly ground with the vendor clearly displaying where it was from and when it was roasted. DIO’s got it. The unassuming espresso from their on-premise machine (mostly there for tasting it seems) is easily the best in Varna, and among the best in Bulgaria. It might actually stand up to any Italian or Portland/Sydney coffee shop. Some impressive craft and skill has gone into the product here and it is absolutely worth trying if you love real coffee. May they do well!

The place is very small but cozy. The staff are extremely kind and attentive. Unfortunately, the coffee reminded me of what you usually get at OMV gas stations when there’s no other choice. The cappuccino wasn’t rich or full-bodied – rather bland, and I didn’t enjoy it at all. I’m leaving 4 stars because of the friendly staff and the good service, but I would rate the coffee with 2 out of 5.

Great location, great menu. You can come here at any time of the day and you will find something for you- from early breakfast to evening cocktail, everything is fresh and delicious, try the Modera cake- it's awesome! Two downsides- the service- kind off slow and not exactly polite and the noise- the music can be little annoying during the day. Otherwise nice and cosy place with a view from the terrace.

Sadly, the worst service in Varna. I hoped the first poor experience was an isolated incident, but since it is close to where I live, I have walked there many times and each time it gets worse. I even tried to leave large tips hoping that I would be remembered and service would improve. It got worse. Coffee is always served cold and the staff is rude and never around. I had to ask 2 servers 3 times for a coffee before they remembered to order and bring it. They stand in the corner and talk to each other or stand by the rail and watch the people below. We chose Monte based on good reviews on Google maps and it was little disappointing. Tried some kind of баница, ice cream, coffee, croissant and sweet pastry. Ice cream was good also the croissant was ok. Big plus was plant based milk but coffee itself wasn't good at all. I ordered ice latte which meant normal latte with ONE cube of ice, well in 35° not very refreshing. баница was very very salty. Overall wouldn't come back. But the staff was nice and tried to speak English. Interior itself is also nice and has outside seating.
