Food was absolutely delicious, had the ribeye steak and mash and would choose it over miller and carter!! The young girl that served us was amazing and was very helpful with my girlfriend’s allergies. Would highly recommend and will be going back

Lovely place to eat! The food was perfect - tasty, vibrant, innovative. The menu has loads of options for lots of dietary requirements. The interior of the restaurant is very stylish and relaxed. The staff were attentive and friendly. The only let-down was that the restaurant was so hot in temperature that it was hard to enjoy the atmosphere and meal.

Absolutely excellent breakfast! Wonderful food, friendly service, nice atmosphere and amazing smoothies!! I also really appreciate their focus on sustainability and local ingredients. Note, the stainless straw in my fabulous smoothie. I only wish you were closer to where we live. 😊

It was our first time at Sensory and Rye this morning and I had to write a review about how good our experience was. The staff were so friendly, the food was beautiful and delicious and the overall feel of the place was so relaxed and calming. I would 100% recommend coming here

Me and my partner both had the loaded hash browns on this visit. A pleasant enough dish, but not quite filling enough for us. The smoothies were delicious though. Service here we have found slow in the past but was much better this time. It's a popular place so can get quite noisy on a weekend. Very trendy decor. Love the detail of the hanging books.

I’d heard about the legendary Sunday lunch at The Bookshop but this was my first time trying it and I was not disappointed. I chose the beef and it came out deliciously rare with an incredibly tasty beef shin cube of delight. The roast potatoes are fluffy and crispy, the veg is lovely and the jug of gravy is more than enough. Our server Erin was great, attentive but not annoyingly so. Just a perfect Sunday lunch.

Food great - hash browns were incredible. Decor and music great. Service a bit of a let down… our waitress was lovely (brunette with glasses) but unfortunately I did witness the barista (blue hair) and another waitress (blonde hair with glasses) rolling their eyes and commenting on our kids and the mess they’d made (really wasn’t that bad and I cleaned it up) some trust that we know how to leave a table would be nice… shame I was left feeling a little uncomfortable. Didn’t seem to be a manager to speak to.

Usually get a decent carvery lunch here and almost a must when I’m in Hereford. Great variety of meats on offer and Richard serving is always friendly and welcoming. Vegetables cooked to perfection for me. Not too hard like some places that take “al dente” to the extreme, not too mushy that it falls apart. Thank you Caroline for your wonderful expertise. Young team of waiting staff which could do with a little advice like not handling cups / glasses around the rim and to deal with spillages asap instead ignoring and stepping over it. Overall, it’s a lovely lunch in a lovely setting looking over the river and also the cathedral from the side.

Having spent the day exploring Hereford, we were looking for somewhere interesting to eat. De Koffie Pot is located adjacent to the river and a short walk from the cathedral. It offers a substantial menu, including a wide choice for vegetarians and vegans. Ordering is preferred through their app, but can be placed in the traditional way - and more personal - at the bar. Service was reasonably swift and the prices very reasonable. Be aware that if choosing a burger, the fries are not included and need to be selected in addition. We sat outside in the covered marquee, complete with fire pits. There is a good atmosphere in this area. A stage and screen offer a space for live events. Recommended for a coffee, lunch or dinner.

Just a short work from the Cathedral and on the river this place has SO much going for it. The premises are superb with a beautiful building and great outdoor seating too (river views; some covered; fire pits) and is worth a visit every summer. It has some good beer and food options, but what prevents it from being unmissable is the service which is often slow and can be disinterested and (ironically) the coffee which is too hot and a bit tasteless.

I had a really nice salad with a cold beer on a hot day. We brought our dog with us and she was given special attention by the bar staff. We felt very welcome and the food was fantastic. Also, the location and the views are extremely pleasant. I highly recommend this venue to any visitors.

Fantastic food had a salad and dirty fries .very quick service when we had ordered but the queue was long...there was lots of tables and we were able to find places to sit even when it rained slightly...music was a bit too loud was difficult hearing each other so we moved a bit .

Very interesting coffee shop/pub with lovely Hereford burgers and beer. I didn’t get to try the coffee, but I’m sure it was lovely too.

Amazing riverside location with lots of outdoor seating (where white canopy is shown on photo). They often have live music which can be a little loud but creates a lovely atmosphere on a Sunday afternoon. Lovely coffee & cake selection and a bar available. Inside is cosy looking and food choice appears good so will be returning to try something from the main menu. Toilets nice & clean & staff always very friendly.

So good we visited it twice. We were on a family holiday to the Forest of Dean and visited Hereford twice. Hereford is really dog friendly including this cafe. The menu is broad and we were all able to find something. The staff are really friendly and the service was really quick. We enjoyed the coronation chicken sandwich (who knew you could put an onion bhaji on a sandwich), sausage sandwich, cheese and ham sandwich and jacket potato with cheese. The staff were able to tweak the sandwiches for the kids (replacing mustard mayo for normal mayo etc). Portions and freshness were value for money. When visiting later in the week we returned as we enjoyed the food so much the first time, this time having the coconut chicken sandwich. It was good to see it busy for sitting in and take aways. The cakes looked yummy. Would definitely recommend a visit 😋

Ordered the coronation chicken sandwich and it was easily the best sandwich I've ever had. Loved the atmosphere - felt like we were being waited on by our peers - other moms and dads who knew how to make a guest feel right at home.

Superb sandwiches and very generous quiche and salad boxes for takeaway. Breakfast was spot on to start our walk early! Quick, efficient service. Highly recommended!

First time visiting & what a lovely place to stumble upon. We popped in for something sweet to take away, and didn't realise they were closing in 15 mins. The staff were all super friendly despite the timing, and all very helpful. Came away with what I can only describe as a slice of heaven! I had the lemon curd crumble cheesecake slice, and it was absolutely incredible - all of the baked good looked fantastic that I did struggle to choose. I love that everything is baked in store, you can tell they care about their food. The staff even offered us 2 slices of quiche for free as it was going to go to waste, what a lovely gesture and great way to help prevent food wastage. We were very sad that we'd already eaten lunch, as the menu all looked really good - we'll definitely be back for lunch another time! What a great little find.

Great place for a catch up and quick bite to eat. Food was good, service was prompt and professional. Only slight gripe was about the cup the tea was served in, handle more for aesthetics than practical use...

Inside and outside under cover dining. The garden area is a nice spot for a drink and a quick bite, relaxing. Coffee was very tasty only problem was the order machine wasn't working we found that out after waiting 20 minutes for our drinks. Staff we very friendly though kept apologising. Food was running out so earlier the better I guess. Steak sandwich was nice, not chewy or greasy or full of hard inedible fat. So we'll done for a quality steak. Chips were excellent overall a pleasant afternoon marred by a very long wait for food and drink.

Been going here a while for breakfast and it’s the best in Hereford. I always get the Full English and pretty much every part of the meal tastes great: the scrambled eggs are creamy, bacon crispy and not too fatty, the bread is nicely toasted, sausages good. The coffee I always get tastes very nice and every pastry has always been fresh and delicious. This is the only breakfast place I keep going back too. The only complaint I have is that the service is kind of slow and you usually have to wait like at least 20 minutes for food. But as long as you’re aware of that it’s fine ;) the staff have always been very friendly as well. The ambience is nice and chill and there’s never really too many people, you can even sit outside which is nice in the summer.

Wow! In the risk of being over the top this place is awesome and my only frustration is how long it has taken me to try it out. We went in to get out of the rain on a cold November morning and found a very warm and inviting atmosphere and were wonderfully received by the welcoming staff. We stopped for coffee and breakfast. The selection was very comprehensive, but we settled for eggs on toast two ways. The portion sizes were very good and the quality was excellent. It's not often that I get a runny poached egg that doesn't taste of vinegar 😁👍. 5 stars from me, but only because a higher number isn't available.

Lovely food except for assuming everyone likes rocket leaves on their plate and 3 of us were eating and none of us liked it. My maca cheese was very tasty and came in a scolding hot bowl yet the macaroni cheese was not very warm at all!

The girls at Miros were absolutely fabulous today at our Sons wedding breakfast. There were 20 of us plus the usual walk ins to contend with. We had pre ordered our food and it was delivered and was lush. Everyone commented that the chefs were amazing too. Thank you for accommodating us Miros, you were all just what was needed for a relaxed celebration. 💖

I was looking for a nice coffee and breakfast in Hereford and stumbled across Cafe Miro. Nice looking little cafe, smart and new looking. Has a great menu, not too many items, meaning what they do do, is very good. Meant to go in for the American pancakes, but ended up with the full English as it looked lovely, and I wasn't disappointed. My only downside would be the sausages though lovely texture, were a little lacking in flavour, and the coffee cups are not nice to hold, tiny handle means it's a funny one handed hold or weird two handed hold. Service was very good the staff were professional, polite and helpful. Would definitely go back maybe try the pancakes next time 😆.

The Green Dragon is a lovely old Hotel. The service is warm and friendly. I had a minor issue that was resolved quickly. The bedroom felt old. Bedding was good, towels good. The rest of it was showing it's age a little! So many pros, but still needs further TLC.

Really nice hotel in the centre of Hereford. The staff are friendly and helpful and make you feel welcome. The hotel is clean and well kept. There is a small bar area with a good selection of drinks. The rooms are spacious with character as expected in an old traditional hotel, although could do with some pictures to brighten them up a bit as they are a bit bland. Also could do with a bigger telly with a simpler system to just watch something. The bed was comfortable and everything worked which is the main points. Would definitely recommend staying if in the area.

So having just come back from a couple of nights away at the Green Dragon Hotel for a wedding, it’s worthwhile letting people know of our experience. Rooms Firstly, it was clear on arrival that the photos on the website are probably a few years out of date as the rooms don’t match those displayed. The bathroom was very tired and in need of a full refurb to bring it up to the standard expected for the premium price we paid for the stay. The bedroom was extremely warm and despite a fan being in the room, it was uncomfortable at times. Other members of our party also had the same issue with the rooms being rather warm. Staff All of the staff were polite and friendly at all times throughout the stay. Food We only had breakfast at the hotel but this was ok. A mix of cold and hot buffet and chefs on hand to make any special requests to order. Location The hotel is well placed for any visits to the city centre with a good selection of parking nearby. Overall a good stay but it’s just a shame the rooms didn’t live up to the expectations based on their pricing scale.

Visited Hereford with my partner and stayed for a couple of nights. The hotel location was perfect with easy access to the high street shops, cafes and restaurants. The hotel room was clean and well presented. Unfortunately we had no plug so could not have a bath the first night we stayed but this was easily rectified the next morning. We only had breakfast at the hotel on one of the mornings. I had ordered avocado on toast with poached eggs. When it had arrived; the sourdough toast was black and burnt, the avocado had no flavour or seasoning and the poached eggs were hard. My partner's breakfast was also mediocre. We decided to eat out for breakfast the following day instead. Would stay again as rooms were lovely and in great location but would not dine again.

Nice hotel, lovely staff and comfortable room (although a little warm). We didn’t eat there, so unable to comment, but the bar and restaurant areas looked very pleasant. Importantly for us dogs are welcome! Thoroughly enjoyed our mini break in Hereford and the Green Dragon is perfectly located for the centre of this ancient city.

We booked early check in for midday as we had a wedding to attend and didn't want to worry about checking in in the evening after a long day which cost an extra £25. When we got there at around 12:10 already a little late due to traffic we had to stand around a wait a while whilst they went off to check our room was ready which meant we couldn't do the car park ticket whilst we waited because we needed our room number which we weren't given yet as they were still checking our room. Then spent more time on the computer, im not sure what they were doing. We were then given our room key but didn't tell us where abouts or what floor our room is on, so had to find our room ourself and its a big hotel, we just followed other guests to the stairs. The doors are thin and could hear people going back to the rooms in the night which kept waking me up. The door was broken on the wardrobe so couldn't open it and the shower leaked when using it. The bed was super comfy though so giving 3 stars. Overall a little run down and disappointed.

Cleanliness of room OK. Front Desk Ladies pleasant enough. Bar service good, Math is amazing. Always grinning and made us feel ‘special’. Math made a big difference to are stay that was already good.

Popped in for a spot of brunch. Recommend scrambled eggs on sourdough bread (£7, 3 large eggs) - it was filling, perfectly cooked, delicious. Very pleasant welcome, good coffee and tea. Tasty lunchtime specials too. Recommend reserving a table at lunch time as many were reserve for later. They will squeeze you in but ask that you do make the table available for the reservation time.

Amazing service great food, we had the restaurant to ourselves , they kindly opened it in the evening just for us .thank you all for a wonderful evening for us to remember on our special birthday.

This place is Hereford's best. Everyone must go. The staff are friendly, professional, efficient and smiley. The food is clearly prepared by a team who know what they're doing- it's well seasoned, fresh and bang on french trend! The atmosphere is quaint with a beautiful garden and the back so you've got a lovely choice of tables. I'll say it until ok blue on the face, you won't get better in Hereford.

We’ve stopped here twice now and have been surprised on both occasions on how good the food was! The flatbreads and pizzas are genuinely a must have, great for kids and families too, at a wonderful price. Adults meals are roughly £8-10, with kids at about £5-6, making it affordable and so so so worth the cost. There’s a lot of choice of drinks, whether you like your tea or your pop, and that continues to be the case for the food menu, within the realm flatbreads, paninies and salads that is! T he is has become a highlight of the day into Hereford whenever we take the kids out, and is always such fun. There is a lovely community spirit with a pay for a stranger in need scheme going on, as well as interesting decor. I’m very certain we will be back, see you soon!

Wow! The best falafels I've ever had, and some amazing sweet potato ribbons too. Such a delicious salad, lovely coffee and great service. 100% recommend.

Had lunch here and the next day I went back for breakfast. Such a lovely little cafe in the heart of Hereford, on beautiful Church Street. Everything I ordered was delicious. I ordered a delicious chai latte which I loved because it wasn’t too sweet.

INCREDIBLE FLATBREAD. Best vegetarian meal I've ever had. Rainbow salad has excellent dressing too, no dry salad here! Highly recommend. 10/10

Friendly service, good ambiance and delicious food

We have been here a few times ages ago but today unfortunately the staff weren't the best. It wasn't just me that noticed either as a lady opposite had issues aswell. Service was incredibly slow, they all looked like they had the weight of the world on there shoulders and couldn't break into a smile. The girl serving us barely spoke and when I asked where the toilet was she just stared at me with an annoyed look on her face and pointed too the door. To be honest we don't tend too go out for food very often but I think it needed too be said. I'm not sure if they were having a bad Sunday morning or what but it just didn't look professional at all. Also one of the girls sneezed in too someones coffee when preparing which was lovely...Food was decent though and the general place is nice.

Wow. Staying over at travel lodge and stumbled upon this little gem. We hadn't booked but that was fine. Staff were polite and food was fantastic ! . If your ever nearby then I highly recommend. I do believe they do takeaway. But unfortumely I do not live nearby.

I was a one person walk in... Put on a pocky table but the stairs... Place has had a few pickups and on 4person table. Start tray was loaded and the coconut was quite nice.... Took one popadom and 3/4the way though a pint before came over to take the order. Took the banquet deal 1795 Looks ok The king pwan was over done hummm I asked at order and the chick fruit curry... Ye it fruity source... Could not provide any other details... Came out not sure how fruit... As couldn't see much other than a few raisin (perhaps) lots of walnut and 7 prices of chicken. The desert is not a choice it is about 10mm max slice of Venta ice-cream... Humm Asked for the bill about 10mins ago still not here... Tbf flavour was ok. Not value for money in any shape or from Just to add, I did speak with the owner about this and said maybe it will be better next time... "I don't want you back go, don't come back" I did ask if he was sure about his comment....

Had a fantastic meal here tonight! The food was fresh, tasty and the establishment was clean, staff were lovely, very friendly and a good laugh Mr.Sham was very kind and allowed us to choose our own table even though they were slightly busier than expected!! Definitely worth a visit and I will return. Thanks guys!!

Lovely place to meet with family, lovely garden area, lunch by lake/pond moat, really lovely. Staff really friendly. My aunt stayed as visiting from the north, her room was a suite, looked nice, first glance, however, arms worn out on chairs and some areas look slightly worn out. With some improvement could be 4 star, nicest hotel in the city centre.Entrance hall lovely, reception quite tucked away. Will return, however really disappointed as no evening meal, you can order a cheese board, but didn't realise this till too late. This restaurant could do well, as lunch was beautiful. Staff friendly⭐️🌟💫🎊 Some great bars and cathedral all in walking distance.

What a fantastic room! Stylish but not irritating (very rare). Huge, comfortable bed. Sofa the size of a tennis court which you sink in to. Beautiful desk looking out over gardens. And so quiet that at times there was an utter almost eerie silence. Very highly recommended

Brilliant. Fantastic location with parking. Went to a wedding in Hereford and needed to be nearby. Great location just 2 minutes from the cathedral. Fabulous food. Way too many seagulls!! Breakfast was fantastic. Charcuterie platter for light lunch snack was great to share. Room was amazing with lovely little hamper treats to enjoy. Would definitely recommend.

We had afternoon tea here yesterday and found it to be a delightful experience. Food was fresh, top quality and delicious. Service from the team could not be faulted and the setting next to the pond is lovely. 5 star 👍

My wife and I met friends for lunch on their recommendation and we weren’t disappointed. The location was very pleasant and the food was delicious. As was the bottle of Champagne!! The staff were very friendly and polite and we would definitely like to go back. Can thoroughly recommend!

What a nice hotel. We got a room in a different building with a patio. Breakfast: You choose breakfast from a list and they bring it over. View from the breakfast room was amazing. The breakfast was delicious! Comfy bed Service: was good, however we were directed to a bus and bus stop but once there we realized the bus only goes on Sundays so that meant alot of stress for us trying to find other means to get there.

Walking distance to everything in and around Hereford, we managed to get in and around easily Great amenities around the hotel as well as the volume of gifts provided in the rooms themselves. Breakfast was a locally sourced, fresh and delicious. Off street parking really helped here too. The only thing that let the rooms down was the heat; not exactly a scorching day outside but the thermal gain was intense in the room, even with the window as wide as possible we struggled to get lower than 24 degrees. A fan is provided but offered little comfort. AC would have been nice, but totally understand in Britain, there's very few occasions that it's needed.

Delicious scones, great coffee, excellent service. You can see why the owners have run it for 27 years and counting (though it's history as a cafe is even longer!). Great little spot!

We were looking for a sandwich and a sit down for lunch. The service was excellent and my tuna and cheese toastie was generously filled. A great alternative to the chain coffee shops for lunch.

We both had nice toasted sandwiches which came with a very good accompanying salad. Service & surroundings clean and cosy. A little expensive but prices are having to rise everywhere.

Absolutely the worst coffee we've had in Hereford - tasted like bitter filter coffee, but was meant to be cappuccino - shame on you for charging barrista-quality prices for something that is worse than Nescafe instant coffee. Please train your staff to make proper coffee before charging these prices.

This is a fab coffee bar. Not a chain but a locally run family bar. Use it or loose it let's not get overrun by costa and Starbucks. Home made cakes gluten and dairy free and really great food. Go have fun!!! Staff vv helpful and friendly.

Called in for a quick pint of cider on my walk home. I do really enjoy The Courtyard, it's a fantastic venue and the staff have always been polite and helpful. Could've got a pint for less in town but I'm happy to support the place.

Scone and coffee, not much to ask for in a cafe No cream to go with the undercooked scone, and no suggestion that perhaps a reduction in the price might be appropriate -probably the last time I use that facility :(

In the Hereford branch there is always a man on his laptop, taking up seating for four in the front of the cafe! He’s there for hours on end, looks dirty and unkempt and glares at you if, God forbid, you should be sitting in “his” seat! Today he had his dirty feet on a chair! Why doesn’t the manager do something about him? He’s good at barring people for no reason but can’t do anything about this man! No matter how often you go in there, there’s never any sign of a welcome or recognition from the staff! Makes me wonder why I bother to go in there! DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT PLEASE!!!

Look, hear me out. The service was good, and the decor was good and interesting it even had a book shelf to find your Harry Potter books. If only a wand was available because the white hot chocolate just tasted of milk without the chocolate.

To many inexperienced staff who deliver to your table and walk past uncleared tables on the way back. Asked for brown toast and got half done white. Need to work harder to get back on top. And service with a smile goes a long way.

The guy have no clue how to make a coffee. He burned the milk and ruined it. He has one job. Don’t waste your money on this place.

8/10 for the coffee. Good taste but a not the right volume of milk for a cappuccino.. Just a thin layer on the top.. Come on guys your a coffee shop. That's the basics. And really no WiFi, seriously a coffee shop where people go to chill and log on... You don't have WiFi.. Not good. Cakes were lovely but Typically massively overly priced. Why do you need to do that seriously.

Ordered off the TooGoodToGo for collection at 6pm, went to collect and they told me to come back at 6.30pm. When I collected the bag, goods were supposed to be a value of £12. I had 2 paninis which were reduced to £3 each and a croissant. NOT £12 worth. Cooked them and put them straight in the bin! They tasted so fishy, they weren’t right.

Too good to go? We understand Too Good To Go is about saving leftovers, but this felt more like clearing out rubbish. Ordered two bags: one cake surprise, one sandwich & cake. On arrival, no sandwiches left, so we got two bags of stale cake. The staff member was unfriendly, which didn’t help. Glad we didn’t pay full price — but honestly, a bit annoyed we paid at all.

If I could give zero star, I will. Poor customer service and was overcharged for something we never had. Please don’t go for the ice cream as it’s literally a scam! They didn’t give you a full scoop (at most half a scoop) and my ice cream was hollow in the middle. For almost £4, I’d suggest you to go somewhere for something better! Avoid at all cost. Overpriced for what they are.

yet again another coffee company in Hereford that has let it slide, once again this morning I visited the cart in old market. Ordered a large takeaway coffee and a chocolate Danish. The Danish was 3 stale and inedible, they watched me take a bit and say that’s stale an put it in the bin. Then they proceeded to make me a coffee to drink in which I did not take as I had ordered a takeout so spent best part of a tenner for nothing. They just looked at me like I had 2 heads rather they wanting to put it right. Not using any of their outlets again.

basically got yelled at by the man serving us… i know it was hot and i feel for service workers but i asked for oat milk matcha and he was yelling normal matcha (so i didn’t go forward). when the lovely young girl at the desk clarified it was mine, i got the drink slammed down and a sarcy thank you. won’t be spending another 5.95 there for a tiny matcha that’s for sure!

I have been couple of times before and it was nice however first time today I stopped for an ice-cream in a cone for my daughter and the staff handed it to me with no gloves on or tissue around. I noticed also there’s even a special ice-cream stand on display to avoid the contact which obviously is not in use. Shame because it put me off tasting it and giving to my daughter.

What a wonderful new cafe, great service with a smile. Large selection of quality cakes to choose from, I went for a tasty hot chocolate and fluffy blueberry muffin..very enjoyable and would definitely recommend. Will definitely be returning with my pooch next time so she can enjoy a puppuccino😋

A great deli with a nice selection of fresh sandwiches for lunch. Good for veggies/vegans and carnivores alike! The hot chocolate is rich and creamy, tastes like real chocolate and would definitely recommend giving that a try. Staff are helpful and there is a little space to sit in the corner if you fancy a pit stop. Great selection of quality ingredients available to take home too.

Purchased handmade chocolate got home and found hair inside it. Disgusting and unacceptable, disappointment exaggerated by the high price paid for it too. Went into the bin.

I ordered a hamper for my husband as an anniversary present - he's rather partial to cheese and wine! It contained lots of lovely local produce as requested which so far have been delicious. Liz was very helpful in choosing contents and delivered as agreed. Would recommend

Fed up with the usual office festive lunch of horrible mince pies, cake that get described as "moist" as if that were some sort of good thing? Then do what I did and get some lovely fresh sourdough bread and proper cheese together with some RUNNER BEAN (yes really) chutney and your reputation as a discerning foodie will be made for life!

Lovely flat white. They use a beeper type thing which vibrates when your coffee is ready. On my visit, I was sat outside and was on my own so I had to bring my bags with me to get the coffee, which made it difficult to carry the coffee out. I can understand using this system when they are busy however.

A nice little coffee shop in Hereford town centre. Lovely looking inside but decided to sit outside in the sun. You order your items and they give you a beeper fob that they alert you on when you can come and grab your order tray. Ordered a Chai Latte, Mocha, sausage roll and crisps. The drinks were delicious, the chai had the perfect amount of spice. The home made looking sausage roll was crispy on the outside and a lovely dense sausage filling. My only complaint is maybe move the crisps away from the coffee machine as the packets were splattered and stained from the splashes of coffee. Other than that, it was lovely.

I often come to Eden cafe with family members and friends. Usually come in for a coffee and some toast. I liked coming here as I currently have two girls under the age of 2. So getting a double pram in and out of shops, and coffee shops can be quite challenging. However recently I was approached by a young member of staff who looked no older than 16 years as I entered the cafe, she told me that customers have been complaining about me leaving nappies on the table, to my shock I finished feeding my baby and left immediately feeling distressed and upset. I never leave dirty nappies behind on the table. I often change my babies bum by the table yes but I take the nappy with me. I find the disabled toilet often dirty and the nappy bin overflowing, staff are not approachable and often rude. They often don't have toast in the cafe first thing in the morning. It's a real shame because as a mum of 2 and getting out and about by myself can be challenging, I will no longer be coming here for a coffee.

Nice coffee but super slow coffee. Over 15 minutes for two lattes was ridiculous. Four staff behind the counter and didn't seem that busy either.

Small, fairly modern setting to enjoy a great breakfast. Staff are polite and friendly and the prices are very affordable. Would encourage the business to sell even larger mugs of cafe latte. The owner/manager is a very friendly man and makes deliberate effort to befriend customers who visit which makes people want to come back again and again. Perhaps should consider expanding.

The service received is always very consistent and reliable. The staff have always been very friendly, relaxed and always service with a smile. The food and coffee are produced to a high standard. I love the small attention to detail they focus on when presenting the coffee I order. Superb venue to have a relaxed coffee environment with friends, family and work connections.

We found Diego's online! Decided to give it a go for Sunday brunch; absolutely love it! Staff are really friendly and accommodating! The food is delicious and really hits the spot! The coffee was so good we had a second to take away! Completely recommend 100% It our new favourite spot!

This is what cafes are meant to be. Friendly staff, excellent quality food for a Sunday brunch and nice strong coffee - all reasonably priced and well presented. The food felt high in quality and had great flavours - particularly brilliant was the hollandaise sauce on the Eggs Royale. The new lunch menu looks very tempting, wish we lived closer!

We had a disappointing experience tonight. Firstly, part of our order was missing, and when we rang the restaurant we could only reach the answer phone. The food was cold and the portion size, for what we paid, was over the top We ordered the duck for two which came with 6 mini wraps, a small portion of duck, dried out spring onion & the stingiest drop of sauce. That set us back £13+. We also ordered the popular prawn noodle dish, for just under £10, which contained 4 prawns. Our spare ribs dish contained 4 mini ribs the length of my thumb. I'd normally not bother leaving a critical review, but having spent £38.50 on the most unappealing, disappointing "treat", I feel compelled to share an honest review. We'd not order from this restaurant again. * The restaurant's customer service was amazing. We have since been contacted by management, apologised to and given a complimentary dish which was all appreciated *

The food was tasty but the portions were small with little substance. We were hungry when we'd finished. Very expensive too. £40 for 2 dishes 2 rice and a salad. Definitely not good value for money.

The takeaway service is really good. They also add free stuff including a Thai beer. The food is so good. This is always the first choice take away for us when we can afford it as its not cheap. But Definately worth it

Simply amazing. Cakes are superb. Lemon friand oh my God. Can I say that in a church. Yes I can. Now all you need too do is add that extra bit of cheese to the scone. Can't wait to return.

Shocking! Asked for oat decaffeinated latte. Drink came and after a few minutes of starting to drink it I got some stabbing digestion pain....I went back to counter to check that they had given me oat milk as opposed to cow's milk....The person who took the order checked with the person making the coffee. She said that it was actually made with cow's milk as she hadn't been told that it was supposed to be oat by the person who took the order! The person who took the order just offered to have another latte made with oat milk. No attention was paid to the painful intolerance symptoms that I was reporting and the staff member walked away when I was trying to tell her that I was experiencing intolerance symptoms. She then brought me a new coffee....I checked that it was decaffeinated and she very abruptly told me that they make loads of coffee's and how were they to remember that I wanted decaffeinated??? She then went back and made me an oat milk decaffeinated and brought it over to me placing it onto the table whilst appearing very frustrated with me. I am so shocked that no consideration or apology was given for the mistake that they made which caused a day long intolerance flare up.....appalling...infact I was made to feel like an inconvenience! AVOID AT ALL COST.

Fantastic unique location! Food excellent, but can get very busy so the service can be quite slow. Get there early! Food is cooked to order, so it is well worth the wait. Highly recommended.

But wary of going into a church for s coffee but apart from a list of services on the table the cafe is separate from the religious element. Lovely coffee and the food looked good - we didn't eat but I did buy the cookbook! Lovely setting for a cafe, the church is wonderful.

We were staying at a nearby caravan park and caught the bus into Hereford. On arrival we were all really hungry but wanted something different from the usual chain places. This place caught our eye and so we wandered inside to be greeted by very pleasant staff and so decided to stay. The menu is packed with wholesome, home cooked food and an array of coffees and cakes. I tried the quiche and salads and hubby had the pizza and salads. Our son chose Mexican chicken and rice. The portions were generous which was good as the cost was a bit on the pricier side...As we went by bus we had a cheeky glass of wine each which was more reasonably priced. We would go again as the food was delicious.

I had my 40th Birthday party here last weekend and it was the most amazing experience. I can’t recommend this wonderful venue and their team enough. The whole process was so easy and smooth, everybody was so nice, helpful and accommodating, the food was lovely and the venue was just perfect. Thank you to Lana for helping me plan the perfect night, from our first meeting over brunch, through to all the help during the party, and to the whole team for the great service on the night too. So many of my guests said how amazing the place was. Honestly, if you’re looking for somewhere to host an event, definitely give them a visit. You won’t be disappointed. x

The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous. It has such a relaxed, peaceful atmosphere that I could have happily sat there all day with a book or working on my laptop. It’s a really lovely space. That said, the service was a bit cold and not very welcoming, and the food wasn’t anything special. Still, the setting makes it worth a visit, especially if you’re looking for a quiet spot to unwind or work.

Had high expectations here, but unfortunately the breakfast wasn’t edible. Believe the reviews on here, the decor over the food with this place. Mushrooms tasted burnt, poach egg tasted like rubber and beans seemed microwaved. We arrived near the end of service so think we had the food items that had been sitting on the hot plate from the morning, Coffee was ok but that’s where the joy ended. Walked in as first time visitors, menus were not given when arrived despite questioning how to order. However, the service and mannerism from a staff member was lovely. Such a shame the food didn’t live to the standard as the venue is nice and quirky, however wouldn’t visit again.

We had our wedding at the Kitchen Garden Cafe last month and it was an absolute dream! Lana and the team were absolutely AMAZING and made our day everything we dreamed of. Lana was so helpful and was always there if we needed anything in both the run-up and on the day, she went above and beyond (especially decorating our cheesecake, I was so impressed, it looked incredible) thank you so much, we are so grateful!!! The staff are lovely here and the ambience of the place is fabulous. However, I thought that the vegan breakfast I ordered was really poor value for what I paid - I ordered a black coffee, an extra slice of toast and a vegan brekkie which came to nearly £17 including a 10% tip - which I gave at the time of ordering before I had seen the food. The breakfast was supposed to include ‘wilted spinach’ but actually had a tiny handful of fresh spinach leaves. There was a half, a bordering on cherry-sized, tomato, and a very small amount of mushrooms. Tomatoes and mushrooms are relatively cheap ingredients so I don’t understand why they are so stingy with the portions. On the plus side the vegan sausages were very nice, as were the hash browns. The coffee was great. Looking at other customers’ plates I suspect that the meat eaters get better value for money. I enjoyed the experience but it would be nice if somewhere in South Birmingham could provide a quality English breakfast for plant-based eaters.

Cafe Ascari, does great coffee, lunches and snacks. I had the baked potato with beans, scummy. Nice cake selection also. All served efficiently by the team. The only downside, just 1 small toilet in a large restaurant.

Pleasant staff, hot plates with really nice hot food , we recommend chicken in a bun with chips . Great atmosphere 👌 The only bad thing is when we sat at our table the table had tea stains on it ,the toilet wouldn't flush and the bin was full up with rubbish. Otherwise I would of given 5 stars

Always the place to go for Full English Breakfast. Top quality foods. Been taking my children here for years since they used to do swimming training before schools. It is very nice to see the owner still about every time we come in, although clearing tables, it shows that he really cares about his business. The cafe is always buzzing, very polite and professional staff. Support your local business, Ascari has been the gem of Hereford for almost 50 years or even more (I’m not sure). 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Fabulous place. Very great atmosphere and food was brilliant. Cannot recommend enough. If you are even just passing through like we were make a detour and have something here. Went for breakfast but cakes looked amazing.

I'm not sure if the ownership has changed, from the previous reviews. Had a different name, but I can't recall what. Anyway, it seems fine for takeaways, but for a sit down lunch I'd mostly avoid (especially during lunchtime). As it is rather pokey and not much room to manoeuvre. Based of the reviews, I liked the look of afternoon tea. Which, came on dinner plates and was disappointing. I'm not fussed about having it on a cake stand. But on previous pictures the jam looked home made and with worthy scones, but our jam wasn't homemade and scones a bit dry. Although, I have to say the cakes were lovely. Sandwichs were fine as well. Staff were pleasant and prices reasonable, but nothing special.

A really lovely cozy place for lunch. Owner extremely welcoming and accommodating. Super menu for lunch, we loved it (Coronation chicken sandwich with great salad accompaniment) and proper loose leaf tea and gorgeous China cups. An absolute hit with us and the family. We'll be back!

Great home made lentil soup, very rich and thick. My daughter had the cheese and ham baguette, great to see good quality ingredients used. I will definitely be returning and leaving the usual trip to Costa behind.

No longer called Cookies...now called 'Hummingbird'. They moved to bigger premises from Church Street, where they started 'Number 10'. Excellent range of sandwiches and cakes and great coffee ; also very dog friendly. They have a large seating area outside of the cafe which is completely sheltered from the elements.

very friendly staff and it's a lovely place, there were nice options for drinks and the food looks amazing. i wasn't really a fan of the milkshake, but my friend loved it. i would go here again, but maybe put a bit more consideration into my decision before i pick a drink! thank you to the staff for being so patient and understanding. they were particularly helpful to another customer who had mobility issues and were generally fantastic.

Excellent food. Short wait time. Good extensive menu. Excellent selection of drinks. Very friendly staff most of which call their customers by name. Only two down points, cafe is accessed by a flight of stairs and the toilets are very basic.

Popped in for a breakfast one Saturday morning just after the cafe had opened. The food was a little more expensive than your usual supermarket cafe breakfast but the quality far better. And the lack of fried eggs wasn't a problem because the poached were fantastic. I will be visiting again.

Highly recommended this cafe for lunch. All dishes are vegetarian (and some are vegan) all mains come with side salad. Some dishes were gf. Really good value for money. There also a selection of cakes. We sat outside in the courtyard with our border terrier.

After exploring the city we were fortunate enough to stumble upon this cafe and luckily they had a table free. The cafe was filled with an array of homemade foods including a variety of soups. Service was swift and served by very friendly and helpful staff, All wearing the appropriate masks and visors. The tables were all sanitised before you were allowed to sit down. A lovely place to enjoy lunch.

Had passed this establishment on many occasions! And even looked at their menu on the outside and it always seemed very good and reasonable 2! After having had so many health appointments, we had 2 have a Doctor's appointment at 9.a.m., so I thought we would try Cafe Bodega afterwards 4 breakfast, and we weren't disappointed at all I opted 4 the Cathedral Breakfast, which was literally cooked 2 order! well the majority of it was. I had 2 really deliciously tasting rashers of local bacon which wasn't skimpy or all fat and gristle! and baked beans, black pudding, 2 fried eggs, toast and butter, mushrooms and 2 sausages, my partner had the lighter breakfast, which was more or less about half of what I had and didn't come with the black pudding or the mushrooms, and we had half a large tomato each 2,and a pot of tea 4 2, and it's so nice and makes all the difference 2 actually have an actual tea pot! and cups! and produced 2 cups each! And it was really busy and has a good following with lots of regulars 2! And people were coming in 4 takeaway items 2!And the owners and staff are extremely friendly and very attentive and nothing is too much trouble either!And the bill was about £15. 50p So extremely going value 2. So will definitely b coming back and will definitely recommend Cafe Bodega to anyone. Thanks again 2 the proprietors.Also the meal was piping hot 2 which isn't always the case at other establishments.,and that always goes a long way 2 make the meal more appetising 2. Actually came here 1st week of April 2018.

Lovely, friendly cafe ran buy a great bunch of women. Home baking, proper tea. Simple things done very well and value for money.Dont have breakfast in your Hotel or B&B go to Cafe Bodega at 10am.

A nice place to have a spot of lunch. I sat outside in the sunshine with my dog and just watched the world go by, as there was plenty of activity around the cathedral to be interesting but not enough traffic to stop it being peaceful. The food and service were good, the staff very friendly, the prices reasonable. Recommended.

This is how a biker stop should be run! I mostly say this because of the food. I'm fed up of the crap that most biker stops continue to serve just because bikers convene there. But Dom's does it right with good, locally sourced food. No shitty Richmond sausages in sight! Burger was great with good pickles and right amount of sauce. Also great atmosphere in amongst the trees. Staff friendly and you can tell care about their customers. A favourite stop in the area for sure!

Excellent service, friendly and relaxed in a lovely setting. The food (full English breakfast) was amazing with locally sourced ingredients. One of the best I've ever had anywhere. I thoroughly recommend visiting if you are travelling nearby.

This location recently got voted as the best biker stop in the UK. I can see why. A lovely quiet and tranquil location selling really nice food. I was served by a lovely, polite and friendly lady called Holly who didn't even bat an eye lid when I asked for my bacon to be well done. Outdoor and under covered area to eat. I had the English breakfast and it was cooked perfectly. My first visit here and I will definately visit again. Recommended.

Staff not overly friendly. Waited ages for our food and it came out in stages. As a result, we all ate at different times. I expected better, as it wasnt busy and we were only a group of four. The burger was apparently very nice that my mate had.

Quick stop on ride with mate. Tea /coffee and bacon baps. Warm welcome. Loads of parking. Good seating areas and ok toilets. Food and drinks were very good. Good price as well. Noted for future rides.

Really like it here and happily its just down the road. Probably my favourite bikers cafe, puts me in mind of places in the himalayas with its pine tree garden setting and slight hippy vibe. Lots of parking, good food and great host and staff. Because Dom has a life outside his cafe it can sometimes be closed but he posts on his FB account if so. Definitely worth a visit and I even met the rarest beast on 2 wheels there, a friendly Harley rider! Who knew!

Today I had the worst breakfast I've ever eaten at this café. After paying £11 for a big breakfast and a cappuccino what I was served was pretty awful the cappuccino bore no resemblance to a normal cappuccino being more like a very weak milky coffee which tasted terrible. The breakfast was no better the bacon and eggs were overcooked whilst the sausages were burnt and like concrete. The rest of the breakfast was passable but given the price paid the meal was well below the standard it should have been. Needless to say I won't be eating here again

The food offering is fairly basic but good. Service is a little slow because there is usually one person taking orders, preparing drinks and taking money. Is it possible to have an 'atmosphere' in brightly lit canteen-style surroundings? I think not!

Waiting time wasn't terrible, around 5 mins to have our order taken. The glass of water didn't arrive with our meal. The food was decent however some parts, the sausage and bread came to us burnt. We waited 40 mins for our food which tasted fine, but the service however was very poor.

Dry overcooked bacon, warmed up beans, the cheapest sausages, also overcooked, one properly cooked egg, soggy laid flat toast. I paid extra for a second half of a tomato, extra toast a second egg, which arrived on a cold side plate, scrambled. I received a discount for the loss of mushrooms, which they had run out of, but not on the shelves. The tea had something sparkling in it, so was pleasantly replaced. An unpleasant eating experience which was almost doubled in price for the extras I ordered. They should know that a cup of tea is a standard, not an extra, and that if you sell good quality sausages they ought to be provided to the kitchen A full English breakfast? No wonder the rest of the world are unimpressed with English food.

Served quickly by friendly staff. Found on arrival the cafe had a managers special. Burger, chips and salad for £3.25. The burger was to a good tasty standard.

A poorly run cafe outdone at every turn by a greasy spoon, Menus on the tables are non existent instead you are treated to a large board behind the counter with small writing, Their "Mega Brunch" while being large is served with a child's portion of chips, When I declined the Tomato I was asked if I'd like something else instead when I said I'd like an extra rasher of bacon I was told no but I could have a Mushroom making the offer of "something else" null and void (why offer a choice when there clearly is none?)? On collecting some cutlery I found it to be wet and had to dry it myself, I also found the Mushroom on my plate was large it was also swimming in some kind of fluid (see photo), I also discovered a Green Pea in my baked beans, To be honest I don't rate this place at all avoid at all costs and go anywhere but here I only gave it one star to start the review and they are lucky to get that imo.

First time in a while visiting here and I was very disappointed. This is the second visit where my hot drink order has been missed or forgotten about. After waiting an extremely long time i went and spoken to the 2 ladies who were making the hot drinks, they were fantastic and made my drinks straight away. The cakes were labelled wrong, however I did order a cake that was correctly labelled but this wasn't covered over, resulting in it being dry and tasteless. I won't be visiting here again for a long while.

It's Costa, but understaffed and the (quite new) premises in some disrepair. Service at the counter was good, but tables remained uncleared upstairs (do they ever sweep the floor) and two out of four toilets out of order. The ones that were open were not particularly Clean or in good repair.

Edit: October 2023 Things have picked up at this Costa. I've had two spot on flat whites two days in a row and made by two different ladies. We'll done keep it up! Disinterested staff and generally poor service. Nobody seems to have any customer skills anymore...sad, dejected looking teenage staff.

Located not far from the centre of town on the recently developed shopping area, close to public parking. Workers and passes by are able to enjoy a great tasting coffee with a selection of desserts. Staff are found to be friendly and helpful. Seating upstairs are comfortable that has plenty of natural light. So either to socialise over coffee with friends, take a book or magazine to read. Or work on a laptop. This coffee house is worth a visit.

My only complaint is no gluten free sandwiches

Busy Saturday morning in this garden centre cafe. Didn't eat the food but it looked nice from what I could see. My fiat white was boiling hot and undrinkable for quite some time. The texture was thin. I'm not sure what coffee they use but it was a very bitter roast. There were fine grinds in coffee.

We stopped here for breakfast with a group of 8 people on our way home. The cafe has a lot of tables and we were easily accomodated. You order your food at the counter. Breakfast was very delicious and good portions. Recommended.

Lovely café in the garden centre. We went on a weekday during the afternoon and it was half full. I have allergies and the staff were really friendly and accommodating. Things like cutlery, is usually help yourself but with so many nuts available in the garden centre I was a bit anxious so they put a pair through the dishwasher for me. They went above and beyond and the food was really good.

Today I had a new dessert. They were photographing this delicious plate of food and asked if I could try it. It was superb. Melted chocolate on the plate with a warmed waffle, slice of warmed gooey chocolate brownie, 2 scoops ice cream piped fresh cream on the top. Simply deli yous. Next time I will try the banana and caramel one.

Visited cafe. Only had a hot drink. Service was good, polite staff and helpful. Sat outside and enjoyed the sunshine. I must say that I was very tempted to have one of their cakes that all looked very nice.

Unable to eat in as mother's day even though there were at least 20 empty tables, but had the most amazing take away cake and would definitely go again.

Just too hit and miss… sometimes the coffee is good, sometimes it’s dreadful. Same applies for the food and service. There are much better garden centre cafes in Herefordshire to choose from IMO.

If I could give zero star, I will. Poor customer service and was overcharged for something we never had. Please don’t go for the ice cream as it’s literally a scam! They didn’t give you a full scoop (at most half a scoop) and my ice cream was hollow in the middle. For almost £4, I’d suggest you to go somewhere for something better! Avoid at all cost. Overpriced for what they are.

Too good to go? We understand Too Good To Go is about saving leftovers, but this felt more like clearing out rubbish. Ordered two bags: one cake surprise, one sandwich & cake. On arrival, no sandwiches left, so we got two bags of stale cake. The staff member was unfriendly, which didn’t help. Glad we didn’t pay full price — but honestly, a bit annoyed we paid at all.

I have been couple of times before and it was nice however first time today I stopped for an ice-cream in a cone for my daughter and the staff handed it to me with no gloves on or tissue around. I noticed also there’s even a special ice-cream stand on display to avoid the contact which obviously is not in use. Shame because it put me off tasting it and giving to my daughter.

Stopped for a cappuccino. No taste, no froth. Just like drinking hot milk. Very expensive. Plenty of good coffee spots but this is not one of them. Spend your money elsewhere.

yet again another coffee company in Hereford that has let it slide, once again this morning I visited the cart in old market. Ordered a large takeaway coffee and a chocolate Danish. The Danish was 3 stale and inedible, they watched me take a bit and say that’s stale an put it in the bin. Then they proceeded to make me a coffee to drink in which I did not take as I had ordered a takeout so spent best part of a tenner for nothing. They just looked at me like I had 2 heads rather they wanting to put it right. Not using any of their outlets again.

basically got yelled at by the man serving us… i know it was hot and i feel for service workers but i asked for oat milk matcha and he was yelling normal matcha (so i didn’t go forward). when the lovely young girl at the desk clarified it was mine, i got the drink slammed down and a sarcy thank you. won’t be spending another 5.95 there for a tiny matcha that’s for sure!

Ordered off the TooGoodToGo for collection at 6pm, went to collect and they told me to come back at 6.30pm. When I collected the bag, goods were supposed to be a value of £12. I had 2 paninis which were reduced to £3 each and a croissant. NOT £12 worth. Cooked them and put them straight in the bin! They tasted so fishy, they weren’t right.

Went here for dinner with my sister as a bit of a treat. Food was yummy as always. Server asked if I'd had a good day and I said no, that's why we were there. He was very polite, offered an ear and before we left, gave us 2 free milkshakes.

Very nice ambience....the staff were very polite....they have quite a few vegan options as well....we had the luxury belgian hot chocolate & a waffle....not my favourite but it was nice.A good dessert place if your close to town centre.

We were warmly welcomed into the restaurant. Staff couldn't do enough to help us, especially with dietary needs. They checked back on us throughout our stay here. Food was delicious, customer service definitely made it worth the money :)

Fantastic place, deserts are amazing.the one thing that I noticed was lack of staff during bussy times.I was with my kids during half term and I really feel sorry for 2 staff members who work really hard try to prepare all deserts, clean,welcome peoples and stand behind counter. Recommended by a friend so thought we would give it a try for our monthly date night. Immediately felt welcomed by friendly, approachable staff. Food came quickly and was absolutely amazing, we left very full of delicious waffles. Nothing was too much trouble, everybody incredibly helpful from taking our order, bringing it out to us and boxing up some for us to bring home again. Will definitely be coming back again, and recommending to all our friends going forward. A very well spent date night 😍

Went for a treat with my daughter and 2 of my granddaughters, I ordered the southern fried chicken balls in a beautiful waffle. It was a really nice change from a sweet dessert. My youngest grand daughter tried it and said that it was yummy and it's what she will order next time. The service was brilliant even though the poor man was on his own rushed off his feet he remained cheerful and funny, nothing to much trouble. Well done we will definitely be back.

I Love it. It's not exactly 'artisan' food - more traditional cafe - but there is a wide range of dishes cooked well with a few nice surprises. A solid choice. Good coffee. Good location. Cash only so come prepared. Good value.

Lovely little cafe hidden in the butter market I did go a few months back but wasn’t as good ,I really enjoyed the music playing in the background.I order the eggs Benedict and it was very well presented the eggs were very creamy and firm and presented immaculately will definitely be going again and will definitely recommend to all of my friends ☺️

What an excellent experience, a lovely, light, cool and airy cafe, located in the Buttermarket. I had the eggs Benedict breakfast. Eggs Benedict is my favourite breakfast and I’m quite fussy with how it is prepared and presented. The breakfast was immaculate, the eggs were perfectly cooked, not solid but not running all over the plate either, the muffin was perfectly toasted and ham was meaty and flavourful. The Hollandaise was creamy, thick and tasty. It was served with avocado which was presented beautifully with a dusting of chilli flakes, absolutely exquisite. The entire meal was worthy of its price. The chef really knew what she was doing. Will definitely visit again

Lovely little cafe tucked away from main street. Great range of food and drink, served by pleasant staff. Reasonably priced. Made a pleasant change from your typical high street chain coffee shops. Always good to use an independent. Well worth a visit.

The flat white was OK. Temperature correct, extraction OK. No bitterness. No grinds in the cup. No attempt at pattern but quite acceptable from a trainee barrister. Knocked a point off fir VERY tired decor and furniture.

Whilst on a day trip to Hereford we popped in to get refreshments after a fairly long journey. 3 staff on 4 of us waiting to be served. Were observed waiting but not acknowledged. When served assistant was very pleasant. When taking a seat area not cleaned not just prior user. BUT! the upstairs toilet if inspected would have got them shut down! The disabled not much better! Not at all acceptable were people eat and drink

I originally gave my review 5 stars a few years back but since then have had to amend my review, not for the quality of service, food, or drinks as all were still excellent but for the state of the toilets. The gents toilets upstairs are in what can only be described as a hazardous state. The taps have very sharp edges of metal due to corrosion/damage (photo included). I cut myself trying to wash my hands, unacceptable in an establishment which has such high points in every other part of its business.

I would like to say anyone reading reviews from a man called Wayne are all untrue. Unfortunately I think this man may suffers from mental health...he continues to harass a young lady which is a staff member and considering he felt so anxious and upset, about the false allegations..he still continues standing outside the premises being intimidating!!! !This is place of work and all staff should feel safe and comfortable within this environment..and not having defend themselves on a public forum...when clearly this person has nothing better to do but to continue this defamation of a staff member and the shop its self. Always found it a nice relaxing place, but unfortunately this man and his friends continues this behaviour towards a member of staff....and i hope management and above..will support their employees with a duty of care their staff....

Popped in for a coffee this afternoon. Barista was rude, unprofessional, going on about she needed to cover on her day off, how unfair, etc. Lattes were ok and I would have left some tip if money could buy manners.

French toast of dreams. I can’t tell you anything else about the menu as I only order this! After all, why have something different when you can have French toast this good. My husband LOVES the winter porridge. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming. Jo is always hilarious and helpful. Easily my favourite place to pop to on my lunch break or a day off! Our first visit and well worth it. As soon as you walk through the door the decor, atmosphere and staff make you feel welcome. It was quite busy so we sat at two small adjoining tables and immediately one of the wait staff offered to put the tables together. The coffee is tasty. I had salad nicoise and for a change it was a real nicoise not some random leaves with stuffed thrown at it. A good amount of salmon, samphire, olives, soft sundried tomatoes, green beans, small new potatoes, soft boiled egg and baby gem lettuce with a complimentary dressing. My partner had a pastrami bagel she said was delicious. The portions were a good size. Must say, next time were in town well head for here.

My son goes here regularly and took me for the first time last week. The food is unbelievable, so fresh and tasty. The lady Jo that served us was so accommodating, friendly, efficient and knowledgeable regarding ingredients. I can’t wait to visit again. Thank you

First time here and have to say we were all (3 of us)quite disappointed. Came for breakfast, two “Steak&Eggs” and one”The Dough”with extra sides of Hash Browns,Crispy Pork Belly Bites and Smoky BBQ Beans, unfortunately nothing with the exception a of sausage was hot..Steak too was under cooked. This was a real shame as the flavours were fantastic. We left our feedback with the waitress but got the impression it didn’t go any further. Would try again as everywhere has an off day,just left feeling a little deflated.

Called in for lunch yesterday. Nice looking place and seemed nice and clean. I ordered the ceaser salad. I expected a mix of shredded chicken and salad. It arrived the chicken was breadcrumbed and fried 3 rather tasteless pieces Lettuce was just huge leaves (not shredded) bacon was burnt. Coffee was un drinkable. I ordered black coffee which was cold cloudy and bitter. Sorry to be negative but I was really disappointed.

Garage Holmer rd Hereford the staff continues to attempt to fiddle your change I had £20.11. Petrol today they tryed to take £48.00 from me there is alot of people upset with this so called mistake,

Been shopping in this store for 8 years and the decline has been very noticeable over last few years. Today I did a big monthly shop and there were no manned tills open. I had to struggle and use self service but someone had to come over several times when items wouldn't scan or it kept saying bags weren't weighed correctly. Not a pleasant experience. Shop generally is run down, toilets are disgusting, even at 8 am, carpark is awful, full of rubbish and broken glass. Asda staff are plentiful taking stock off shelves for on line shoppers whilst customers in store are treated as an inconvenience. The lack of choice on the shelves is very poor. Tried to seek an email address for either the head office or the Hereford store. I was passed to several people, kept on hold and then after 15 minutes told they didn't have an email address. Really, a company that size with no email address. Absolutely appalling.

I shop here often because it is handy, plus it is quite a large store with a wide range of goods. Price wise it is ok but not as cheap as Aldi or Lidl. Good sized car park, free for three hours, also handy if you want to pop into town. However it can become gridlocked during very busy times and can take ages to exit! There is a nice enough cafe inside plus a competitive fuel station, however today it was closed because they had run dry! There is a soft plastic recycling point in the entrance/exit

Big shout out to Robert Small . Today I purchased a 6 piece patio set in a very big box Rob helped me across the carpark where I told him I had a mini he didn't retreat he mentioned putting the seat down I then told him I had 2 children's seats on the back seats he still smiled . We pushed and shoved and tried many different ways he never gave up and eventually got it in . Fantastic customer service from Rob .

Asda in Hereford is generally a decent supermarket, with items of a good standard. Its fresh produce is better than most of its competitors, and it also has a decent cafe and offers a Travel Money option, though there are no Opticians option available. The drawbacks of this particular store are its location and it size, its small by comparison to most other Asda's I have been in, meaning limitions of some items on offer

Possibly the most dirty and disgusting cafe I’ve ever been in! Most of the tables were left un cleaned with dirty plates and cups, We had to clear our table before we sat down. The floors were covered with food and looked liked they hadn’t been swept all day! Food waste bags were also stacked next to the kitchen door! I dread to think what the kitchen looked like if the customer area was this bad! 🤢

Visited to buy some food. The food department is situated in the basement, somewhat subterranean. Nice choice of products, good quality but rather expensive. My jacket got caught in the hinge of my hand basket, member of staff told me that I wasn't the first. Easy to use service tills.

My mum and dad came in today and went to the coffee shop and they had a gluten free bacon bap and also had in the coffee shop a mozzarella tomato and pesto toasted sandwich. Also had a Belgian bun gluten free. Its nice to see that there is options for customers with allergies

I would like to review my latest bra fitting experience at this M&S store. Young lady ,Viki was my very helpful, professional and engaging advisor and assistant. She clearly has a great eye for well fitting bra's and was very efficient at helping me and my daughter to find the perfect bra. Actually I have walked away with three of her well selected suggestions and my daughter loved hers too. Thank you Viki for being so good at your job and delivering the service with friendly smile . What a difference that makes. Can highly recommend this service by M&S if you just like me struggle to find the well fitting underwear.

Went in there this morning to return something, everything was fine. Went upstairs with my two children who then ran off unexpectedly as soon as we got off the escalator, a M&S employee with dark hair, glasses and wearing a black and white striped top made a nasty face and shook her head at my children (trust me nobody wants children to behave more than their parents do) I went after my children and took them out of the shop however an employee doing that made me feel extremely unwelcome. Kids are kids and I have seen plenty of children in there before. Going shopping alone is obviously easier but sometimes not possible. You are entitled to a child free life not a child free world and will not be going in there again.

Beware when shopping Big built man with mid length brown hair who works there on self service tills wouldn’t stop staring at women inappropriately. As a shopper I find this behaviour really inappropriate. Please train your staff better!!

The staff are exceptionally helpful, it's always clean and a good temperature, exactly what your expect from m and s only more so. The lady who does the click and collect could not have been more helpful!

Yet again no cheese scones. They seem to have trouble aligning supply with demand. 12 Sept Several weeks now and still no scones at all. Apparently they were only sent one box yesterday. Archie you need to sort this out. August 2025. Dirty crockery not cleared away. Weak tea. Overall bad experience. Much prefer Waitrose

Took my wife, small dog and young granddaughter to this garden centre this morning. The cafe visit was excellent. My wife and granddaughter shared some toasted tea cake, along with coffee and babycino&I chose an egg and bacon cob with a pot of tea. The service was excellent and the food very delicious. We had a good look around the rest of the garden centre and on our exit we bought a few charity paperbacks too.

Went for breakfast again today and it was as good as last week. I love it when a place is consistently good. I had the vegetarian breakfast and stopped the advocate for spinache. Personally I prefer it when hallumi is cooked 'naked' rather than with a coating, but it was still good.

Came to the garden centre to get some bits ready for the summer ahead. It was our first time at the garden centre and we didnt realise they did food. Stopped in the cafe and had 2 large breakfasts. The food was really nice, felt like good quality ingredients, piping hot and the staff were super friendly. Only downside is that it was quite expensive. The shop itself was on the pricey side (not completely unexpected for a garden centre). However, you can get 3 bags of compost in home bargains for the price of one here (same brand). Similar situation in the cafe, was an expensive breakfast. All in all, I would go back for food and to the shop, I just wouldn’t go too frequently

Previously called Wyevale, in fact this is the site of the very first garden centre in England! Very large selection of plants, pots, gardening accessories, indoor plants etc. Inside can be found many small departments selling many household and personal items plus stuff for pets. There is also a cafe, could easily spend a couple of hours wandering around here. The centre is well set out and clean, plenty of parking. Tills can be a tad slow at times and some of their stuff is pricey but overall a great garden centre.

Lovely look around got a cute little toy for the dog. The food was alright but the vegetables were a little off with my roast beef and the Cheese on my friends jacket potato tasted synthetic.

Love this place, best selection of organic peat free composts and vast range of feeds. Plants are pricey but very healthy. Bargain corner often has some treasures

Its changed alot from when i visited many years ago the name has changed no more live fish but its got a huge flower variety and great clothing section foods toys and solar items well worth a visit and the staff are lovely always willing to help

Ok it's in a bus station and not the prettiest cafe from the outside. However don't let that put you off. Inside is smart and clean. Staff were great and hardworking. And the food was delicious and amazing value for money. Highly recommended.

At first glance, you'd think that this is just some hole-in-the-wall café. And you'd be right. But it's got a certain charm, excellent food, and a friendly staff (as well as a fair few friendly patrons when they're not driving buses). Worth the short walk from the town centre even of you're not looking to catch a ride.

Had a breakfast plus another breakfast, very fast coming out, didn’t even wait 10 mins. Food was very hot, so that made it even better. Prices were good aswell.

Make sure you have cash! If not, you have to 'knock on the window' of kitchen to tell them if your going to have to go and get some cash 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️ otherwise you'll receive a £100 parking fine...you've got less than 15 mins to get cash, ok! Go!!! What a disappointing experience, I only wanted a breakfast, it's seemed like a convenient place at the time. Staff are in business with CSPM Parking. Why else would staff deny I intended to buy breakfast on return?! They make more money out of the fines is why 😉

It's a Waitrose coffee shop. Standard stuff. Nothing exciting.

It was a busy little café, and fairly clean, we had a sandwich with a bottle of water and an empty glass, but the glass had not been cleaned and still had someone's lipstick on. Apart from that there was nothing wrong. To be fair they were very busy when we went so please don't let a dirty glass put you off.

It was OK, but only ok. They sold green tea which was a plus, but the cheese scone my friend had was tough and stale. As a brand I feel Waitrose sometimes falls short of its price point and quality branding

Rubbish full vegan breakfast. Food was cold, minimal and tomatoes were cheap tinned. It cost £7 which was extortionate for the quality and price and I was told I couldn't have more than two tomato ketchup sachets without paying more which is ridiculous! Also tables were filthy

Paid at the robot, told to take a card for service, waited & then told “not available for drinks!” Whilst waiting I asked a young lad if he wouldn’t mind giving the table a wipe, he looked at me & walked off! He returned & gave it a begrudging wipe and sloped off- never said a word! Top class customer service

Visited the cafe 3 times now, food is always nice however there are some rude staff. One member flat out told me no when I asked for something on the menu without any reason, and another occasion a women had a go at my partner for filling his milkshake to the top. I will say there was one nice lady who brought our food out on the last occasion who was very pleasant. Whenever we ask for sauce we get given 1 sachet and ask for some more then we only get 1 sachet at a time... I don’t understand why you wouldn’t invest in more sauce pots as you clearly need them, my partner had to buy tomato sauce from Morrison’s as got sick of asking for more! Don’t think we will be coming back.

Breakfast is tasty but the eggs were so watery that the hash brown, toast and bacon all tasted of watery egg. The scrambled egg came out very cold so sent it back. The table next to mine had plates stacked up waiting to be cleared and cleaned and it remained that way until after I left. I won't be coming back.

Quiet (when I went in) Nice pleasant young girl serving behind the counter who took my order and offered water for my furry companion which was kind of her. Sorry, not able to recommend any dishes in the establishment as I only had a milkshake and a bun.

I recently celebrated my daughter’s christening here and it was absolutely perfect. Nothing was too much. The food was amazing, all the guests commented on the look of it and the variety and taste. The location was perfect, The sun was shining and the outside area was just right and plenty big enough. The service and staff were also fab, so helpful and even took some pictures of us all!

Stopped for coffees and cake whilst the sun was shining so sat outside. Drinks were a good size and bicscoff hot chocolate really nice. Would like to see prices on the drinks and cakes though, as they were actually really good value. Will be back again soon!

Dog-friendly and baby-friendly, which we really appreciated on our rainy day out in Hereford! Good baby change toilets. We had macc n cheese and a toastie and they were lovely. Staff are very kind and friendly too.

Cracking cafe loads of space and different options for food. Quite a good variety on offer. Clean and tidy throughout, service was fast and polite. Very tasty breakfast tbf.

Excellent food and atmosphere, great range of milkshakes. Play area suitable for smaller children. Reasonably priced. Found best for breakfast and lunches. Helpful staff members who were smiley and polite and very clean toilet facilities. Our spend per person was higher as we had milkshakes - these were excellent and like a pudding - as well as other extras. £10-20 per person selected (as what we spent) but menu and drinks variety means you could eat in for under £10.

I haven’t been for a while but it was lovely to see that the children’s play area has been revamped a bit so there’s a great selection of toys which my children loved and is very welcome in Hereford where most venues like this have closed. The food and coffee is good. My only issue was that there was an enormous amount of Nutella on mine and the children’s pancakes. It was actually such a silly amount that I spooned off quite a bit onto a separate plate. Some might well enjoy this but for me if made the meal far too sickly (even after scraping as much off as I could) and I don’t like my children having such a huge amount of chocolate on theirs. My daughter even said it was too much. I wonder if it would be worth considering putting the chocolate into a little pot on the side to customers can choose how much they’d like? I’d also expect a few more strawberries for the £2 extra I paid. Despite this, I will return as it is a welcome play cafe in Hereford and the staff are always nice.

Awful place every table was dirty and waiting to be cleared. We were in there for over half an hour and all staff disappeared and left all tables dirty and in need of clearing. Atmosphere very poor not even a Christmas tree and it is Christmas. Our food was good but terribly overpriced. Not a place I’ll be visiting again.

Just been in today at lunch time, pretty appalled to be honest, there didn't seem to be any staff on the floor at all, no one behind the till serving for a good 15 minutes, there was a que of us waiting for a very long time to be served, felt like walking out to be honest I wish I had. 2 blonde ladies eventually came slowly shuffling out of the door behind the bar, gave us all filthy looks not once did either of them apologize to any of us for keeping us waiting for such a long time acted annoyed that we were there. Just got a "what do you do want" style greeting, so unbelievably rude. Rushed making my latte (worst latte I have ever had, way too much foam more like a cappuccino) the one lady who made my coffee I know has been working there a very long time so no excuse really. Overcharged me for my toasty and drink but by that point I was too annoyed and had wasted too much of my lunch break waiting for staff to appear and serve me. I went there out of convenience but I certainly won't be making that mistake again.

Couldn't get what I wanted for my son due to a broken blender, but the incredible staff more than made up for it. Friendly and helpful, probably the best service I've ever had in a Costa as both of the staff working behind the counter were really excellent from a customer perspective. The place itself was also very clean, was really impressed.

In my opinion this Costa has lost its way since the last manager left. Some of the staff are still stars but many are new and ill trained. If you are unlucky you can ask for flat white and get cappuccino with grinds in the bottom almost boiling. Often they are short of food as if no one is focussing on stock control. There are better options nearby

Amazing coffee as always. Friendly staff and very welcoming. Food nice. Is expensive but worth it. Only let down is the state if the toilets!! In need for a very deep clean indeed. Shame really or it would have been a 5 star rating

"Food" was actually just a large latte. So large in fact, that the China cup had 2 handles. Good coffee in a fairly basic setting. Not cheap by any means, but okay.

A worthy enterprise to support. We enjoyed having a lovely individual cafetiere of fresh coffee each whilst sitting outside in the sunshine. There is also a lovely little tea room where you can sit inside. The shop sells local produce & some lovely unique jewellery & offers Post Office Counter services too.

Nice enough shop and gym, however the owner is a tyrant. Shouted at me and called me a bully for asking her to put her dog on a lead. The dog is always left to roam free even in the kitchen of the cafe. My daughter is scared to go there as the dog is very barky and aggressive towards others.

The Post Office is under new and much improved management. As well as offering all the counter services you need from the PO it also offers a large range of fresh, locally produce. There is a Cafe with outdoor seating in the summer and they also provide a local delivery service to outlying customers. Most importantly, it is being run as a local social enterprise, which means the proprietors, Sonya and Nigel , are using the income to improve local services for the community. Please support this excellent work if you are in the area!!

Absolutely lovely cafe little shop, extremely helpful proprietor who told us all we needed to know about the area! Well recommend if you are staying in the area or stopping off for a break.

Visited the cafe today with 5 other hungry cyclists. Wonderful service and proper pot of tea and great selection of cakes. Wow

So much better than Spoons which is just around the corner. Clean, tidy premises of a bit bland. Fresh, hot, quality food. Very friendly staff, efficient and polite. Not cheap, but great value. Best breakfast I've had in Hereford in months

Fantastic breakfast. One of the best I've had. The ladies were very friendly and helpful. Really positive experience. Instead of spoons pop round the corner and eat here.

The best breakfast I’ve had in a while! Lovely staff , nice and clean , very clean toilets! It’s so good can’t wait to go back again, also a fair price and nice coffee! I would highly recommend this place
