Cafe
Café Hafa is a legendary spot perched on a cliff overlooking the stunning Strait of Gibraltar. Since its establishment, it has been a favorite haunt for artists and intellectuals, offering aromatic Moroccan coffee in a laid-back atmosphere. The cafe's mix of ancient and modern decor has attracted locals and visitors alike, including famous figures like Paul Bowles and The Beatles.
This is one of the oldest cafes in Tangier and is located in the Medina. The Cafe has an excellent position overlooking the Straits of Gibraltar and with a view of the Spanish coast. They offer both food as well as a varied selection of coffees, tea's and soft drinks. The location is great for enjoying drinks with friends and enjoying the great views. It is also a great location for photo opportunities. The Cafe Hafa is a must visit if you are ever in Tangier.
Ola S — Google review
I recently visited Café Hafa in Tangier to try a local mint tea on a friend’s recommendation. The view was absolutely beautiful and the seating was very comfortable, even though the café was quite busy. Unfortunately, I did run into a small issue: when I paid the server, he mentioned he'd go get change but never returned. Even though it was a small amount, it left a bit of a negative impression. So my tip would be to try to pay the exact amount if you can, just to avoid any hassle. This might just be a one-off incident and not reflective of the entire establishment, but it does affect the overall reputation of the place.
Taissir B — Google review
Poorest service you can imagine after paying this much. But the view was perfect. I’d say don’t bother yourself if you live far from this place. Okay to come if you are living/passing nearby
Hamza — Google review
Nice venues with wonderful views of the sea. Very touristic and busy. Shame that only few staff attend, mostly offering green tea to everybody but if you order something else (food or another drink) must wait for very long. In my case, we left after 45 minutes of waiting for couple of juices. We enjoyed the views though.
Roberto — Google review
I visited Café Hafa in the old city of Tangier two weeks ago. The location is excellent, with a stunning view of the sea right in front and fresh, clean air. The drinks are very good, and the café has a unique and relaxing atmosphere. However, the prices are a bit high compared to other cafés in the area. The place was very crowded, and we only managed to get seats with some effort. Most of the visitors were tourists, but there were also locals enjoying the café. One downside is that there are no nearby parking options, which makes it slightly inconvenient if you are driving. Overall, despite the high prices and crowd, I really enjoyed the view and atmosphere, and it is definitely worth visiting if you are in Tangier.
Wajdi A — Google review
Its definitely difficult when you are visiting a foreign place you have to be open to the unknown and adapt. The views are great here its actually immaculate . The cafe is located on a hill top in the old town of tangier I say go in and have a drink like tea or coffee but thats it. When we arrived we were able to sit anywhere but it seem like the waiters wete extremely disorganized no one bought us a menu when we asked in French they verbally told us they had nothing to offer other than omlettes that day so we went with it! When it arrived it was just scrambled eggs doused in oil and some bread and spam meat? I had asked for a peach juice as thats what was offered and they bought me a mango and orange puree anyway went with it but just giving a heads up you dont get a menu so you wont know the cost of things they verbally tell you the price. This place only takes cash no interac heads up! Just go for the views
Shine — Google review
Important point: Only accepts cash, no cards. Excellent view of the Mediterranean Sea. Lovely outdoor seating areas spread out across different sections. Food is below average but the mint tea is very good. Service is ok and you can see waiters running around up and down the stairs with huge trays of mint tea. While I was there at 5 pm, a very large group of about 60 Chinese tourists came in. Their guide or group leader kept talking to them in Chinese using a loudspeaker and ruined the entire atmosphere for everyone. They all had audio guides in their ears. So not sure why the cafe allowed such microphones/ loudspeakers.
Anju P — Google review
Beautiful view from the cafe, no doubt. You get direct view towards the Strait of Gibraltar and if you're lucky, Tarifa (Spain) will be visible on the horizon. However, don't expect any service or greetings from the staff or anything. I entered the cafe and no one even offered menu or asked me to wait to be seated. The tables are full of people only drinking Moroccan Tea, I don't see any single person eating. I left without bothering to sit or wait.

Cafe
Gran Café de Paris, established in 1927, holds a significant place in Tangier's bohemian history. It was frequented by renowned artists and writers such as Jack Kerouac, William Burroughs, Paul Bowles, and Tennessee Williams. The café served as an inspirational gathering spot for these luminaries to engage in discussions about life and literature over coffee and cigarettes. Despite its unassuming exterior, the interior exudes nostalgia and charm.
Wonderful pitstop for some tea and snacks. It’s like walking into a cafe frozen in time, from the 50’s! A must stop if a fan of the Bourne movies.
Raphael V — Google review
Very old international Tangier. My waiter spoke excellent Spanish. My guess is his French and English would have been equally good. Great place to relax over coffee in an interesting part of the town.
Dominic D — Google review
Came here on a weekend to try some local coffee and I was not disappointed. We were offered a table as soon as we walked in and the server was so lovely. He warmly welcomed us and offered to speak to us in our language of choice, which was so considerate. He also assisted with directions and was such a lovely man. The cappuccino was delicious and affordable, my only complaint is that i wish it was larger lol The fresh squeezed orange juice was also delicious. We did not feel rushed and had time to enjoy our drinks and chat while taking in the city. The ladies room is upstairs and is clean/spacious. Overall a great experience and I would visit again when in the area.
Sam D — Google review
Staff are very friendly and efficient, the atmosphere is very laid back in a authentic cafe where you can people watch for a long time. Prices are reasonable and the place is clean and comfortable. Mix of locals and tourists alike.
Kara H — Google review
The Gran Café de Paris is arguably the most famous of Tangier's estimated one thousand cafés. The other one is the outdoor Café Hafa, that overlooks the Strait of Gibraltar from its terraced cliff-side location on the Marshan. The Gran Café de Paris has been in this central location on the Place de France in downtown Tangier since it opened in 1927. At that time, the city had very few cars and the population was only 60,000. This café remains perennially popular with locals and tourists alike, with a loyal following of people, including Moroccan retirees who frequent the Café de Paris throughout the day, and many loyal expatriate residents rendezvous here regularly. Back in the 1950s, '60s and early '70s, up until "Morocanization" was enacted in 1974, Gran Café de Paris was also a bar and restaurant, and it served food and also beers, wines and cocktails. Today, the café still has its prominent location on the Boulevard Pasteur at Place de France, across from the French Consulate and just up Rue de la Liberté from El Minzah Hôtel. Café de Paris has been used as locations for scenes in the 2007 action-packed spy-thriller film "The Bourne Ultimatum" with Matt Damon, and also in the 1987 James Bond film "The Living Daylights" starring Timothy Dalton. The Moroccan owners have avoided upgrading the interior toilets, and the tablecloths are in need of replacement. The chocolate colored chairs are not leather but imitation vinyl, and they are not very comfortable. The ambiance is from the 1950s or earlier. If you need ice cubes to make your drink cold, they usually don't have any. The Gran Café de Paris is an institution and landmark in Tangier. I hope it survives for decades to come. Nearly everyone who lives in the city has been here at least once, and many tourists make it a point to visit the Gran Café de Paris as well. Most of the waiters and the cashier are friendly, and the service at this café is usually prompt. My waiters and the employees all call me by my first name, and they know what coffee I prefer. One waiter I know has worked at the café for 40 years. Wi-Fi for portable telephones and small tablets such as an iPad or Samsung device may be used if you are able to get the pass code from your waiter or the cashier. But the signal is often too unreliable and weak. Don't miss sitting inside or outside at the Gran Café de Paris. There are three distinct inside areas, but most tourists avoid the lower level down a few steps from the circular area near the cashier since it is always crowded with local Moroccans who sit for hours chatting with each other while often watching a large flat-screen television. Inside the Gran Café de Paris there is a circular seating area with non-working marble fountain shaped like a palm tree. In this round room is a large flatscreen television to watch sports, news and other programs. The stairway in this round room takes you upstairs to the women’s toilet and powder room. The round room has a prayer room, and the men's toilet is nearby. The main room has dark green marble trim where it leads into the circular room and toilets. There are large glass exterior windows and double doors. The floors are also marble. There are reasonably comfortable seats and both round and square tables with old brown vinyl upholstering on the curved-back chairs and ancient green or brown velvet table-cloths. From this large room you have panoramic views of the flow of passers-by on the Place de France with its circular fountain and the imposing French Consulate across the street. In August 2023, the menu prices were increased. A cafe now costs 11 DH and a glass of orange juice was raised to 18 DH from 15 DH. Similar increases were made on omlettes and other food items. The WiFi is occasionally weak and does not always work well, particularly when the television is on. The owners of the cafe should get fiber optic. The television should be removed from the main front room. The sedate charm and ambiance is ruined by the TV and the outside LED lights are too bright and need to be dimmed.
Kenneth M — Google review
Visited several times during my three day stay in Tangier. Absolutely wonderful. Full of old world charm. Enjoyed reading here for hours over great coffee. The waiters are fantastic. Highly recommend
Tom H — Google review
It truly feels like one is sitting in a Parisian cafe but with cheaper prices. One can enjoy a nice snack or drink anytime throughout the day with friendly servers in a rustic atmosphere. The only downside is that people are allowed to smoke cigarettes INSIDE and outside, which makes it difficult to enjoy one's snack when there's the constant smell of cigarettes. Note that they only take cash, not card.
James — Google review
Famous café for famous writers in history. I came here because Korean TV program introduced here. It says that many famous wtiters write their book in this café. Usually other famous places waiters are tired of customers but here all workers are very friendly and kind 😃.

Cafe
Café Baba, located in the Kasbah of Tanger, offers an intimate and cozy atmosphere for visitors to enjoy a variety of traditional Moroccan dishes such as tagines and couscous. The café is known for its hidden-gem experience within the medina, providing a relaxed setting for guests. Additionally, nearby Palais Zahia offers a sophisticated dining experience in a 19th-century palace, showcasing intricate Moroccan cuisine in an elegant atmosphere.
A really cool historic cafe with pictures of famous visitors along the walls. It’s been family-owned for generations, and the current owner is very kind. Tea is 20 dh.

One of the best rooftops in Tangier Café Baba, located in the heart of the old Medina, offers an exceptional experience from morning to sunset and even at night. The rooftop view is stunning, creating a calm and authentic atmosphere that captures the spirit of Tangier. The tea is among the best in Morocco rich in flavor and tradition. The service team is friendly and professional, making every visit pleasant. A perfect spot for anyone looking to enjoy great tea, a relaxing ambiance, and beautiful views over the city. A true gem in Tangier.

I visited the famous Café Baba because of Anthony Bourdain, and it had a very relaxed atmosphere. The waiters were friendly and welcoming, and I enjoyed my mint tea and cigarette with views of the medina in front of me.

Café Baba in the Medina of Tangier, Morocco, was a favorite haunt of the Rolling Stones in 1966-1967. Parts of the 2012 Jim Jarmusch movie "Only lovers left alive" were filmed here.

Exactly how you want it to be, peaceful chilled vibes, great views and extremely welcoming. I was made to feel like family. The history and legacy of of the place just adds to experience

Nice café with a lot of history. Unfortunately the waiter tried to cheat me with the change. When I let him know he didn’t apologise ( as you would expect if it was a genuine mistake) but acted like he knew and it was intentional… It’s a shame that amazing places like this are let down by employees that don’t care and just seek to make a few extra dirhams out of tourists….

El Morocco Club is a popular spot located in the Kasbah area of Tanger, Morocco. It offers international cuisine with an English touch and is known for its quality dishes. The establishment combines a restaurant, terrace cafeteria, and piano bar, providing a multifaceted experience for visitors. With its pleasant atmosphere and excellent service, it's highly recommended by many travelers who have enjoyed their time there.
The candied lamb and couscous and John Dory fish were both excellent, couscous was great, atmosphere very romantic, and service attentive but a tad slow sometimes. And a wonderful romantic time!

I forgot to review this spot- went here last summer. The food was wonderful, and offers a modern take on traditional Moroccan cuisine. The flavours and presentation were sublime. A calming atmosphere and beautiful lighting. The service was great as well.
Chehrazad C — Google review
El Morocco club is an upscale venue in Tangier, easily located. You can either have a drink under the trees, on the main façade of the establishment, or book a table in the restaurant for lunch or dinner, or book a place at the piano bar. There are, therefore, three ways to appreciate this place. It has a menu of excellent alcoholic beverages, from wines, cocktails, beers and a selected dishes. The presentation of the dishes is beautiful, and they are very well served. I drank a glass of white wine and ordered a saffron risotto with prawns. My God, it was the best risotto I've eaten in my life! The staff are very kind, and at the end I was awarded a spectacular chocolate truffle. I highly recommend this place, and I add that it is necessary to make a reservation. Success to you all ✨
Larissa C — Google review
Can highly recommend this restaurant, we got to sit in our own room, amazing staff. Super cozy and great food. We really loved this place!
Julia J — Google review
Even though we were on October, and just at start (19:30), the restaurant was fully booked. I'd tried to make a reservation in the afternoon, both via telephone and site, to no avail. It was the single restaurant in Tanger that we had this difficulty. And soon we knew the reason: the restaurant is really excellent! Given the fact that there were no tables available, the maitre suggested going to bar (1 level below) and dine there. The bar is a really small area, with very small round tables, suitable perfectly for a drink and some appetisers. Using them to eat is really an exercise of dexterity. But the good news is that it is possible, with the extreme assistance of really well trained and gentle waiters. Also speaking fluent Spanish was really helpful, although I overheard them speaking also in English and French. Anyway, my recomendation is choosing whatever you like or just follow the waiter indications, since everything is delicious and extremely well prepared. Oysters, lamb, crab, pasta, .... Finally, make a reservation at least one day in advance, and then enjoy this wonderful place in the first floor main dining room...
Federico M — Google review
I had a disappointing experience while visiting with my family. There was an empty table available, but the staff refused to let us sit there, claiming it was reserved—although no one showed up for over an hour. I asked if we could use the table for just 30 minutes, but they still refused, seemingly because we were not foreigners. We were a group of seven and would have ordered more than many of the foreign guests who were seated without issue. This kind of discrimination is unacceptable. I do not recommend this club.
Mohamed A — Google review
They have a small, formal dining room upstairs, and a charming Moroccan style speak easy downstairs. Downstairs is where you want to try to eat/drink. Smoking is allowed downstairs but it’s well ventilated. Downstairs is what makes this place special, but seating is limited, so get here early and specify you want to eat dinner downstairs. My wife had the lamb dish which she loved as it was sweet, and well presented. The lamb is a shredded layer topped with rice and sweet potatoes. I ordered the center cut stake with fries. My order of medium rare came out rare, so you might be better off ordering it medium if you want The steak to be seared on the outside and cooked to a warm red center with a hint of pink. Where it still has some firmness but is still juicy and tender. If you are looking for unique and special, it’s the speak easy (1920’s style bar) downstairs, the fine dining quality and presentation, and for a fairly reasonable price. We spent $120 for two beautiful main course meals, 1 wonderful desert, 3 beers, and two cocktails. Again, just make sure you get down into the speakeasy for that special charm you are looking for.
John — Google review
Had an excellent dinner! Food was finely presented & service was 5 stars! It’s what I would expect at a fine dining restaurant! We started off with a couple of drinks at the bar which had the most awesome vibe to it. They do a really good Negroni! We had the tuna tartare & the burrata in Taktouka to start. Both had a nice hint of Moroccan to it. Our mains were the John Dory fish in creamy saffron risotto & Chicken Pastilla. Fish was cooked to perfection, loved the lemon foam on top. Children Pastilla was probably the one item not on top of our list. For desserts, we tried the lemon meringue pie & creme brûlée with saffron - both amazing tasting! Also really enjoyed the wines - tried the rosé and a bottle of Moroccan white. Thoroughly enjoyed our evening there! Would have loved it if the live band was playing, I’m sure!

Café à l'Anglaise is a charming spot that combines the spirit of Jane Austen with traditional Moroccan design. The cozy tearoom offers a mix of European antiques and Moroccan elements, creating a unique atmosphere. Run by a delightful Moroccan family, this café serves up delicious dishes such as chicken tajine and sweet pastilla. Located on Rue de la Kasbah, it's an ideal place to enjoy fresh juice and a traditional Moroccan breakfast while taking in the surroundings.
This place is an absolute gem. We ordered morrocan pancakes, morrocan pastry, moroccan coffee (best coffee I've ever had!), detox drink and cheese omelet. Everything was delicious and the bread they gave was warm and nice. Also nice olives. The staff are nice and spoke good English. Also good music and good vibes generally!

A beautiful establishment with delicious French-Moroccan cuisine made with all fresh ingredients and passion. Ideal place for morning coffee or dinner. The lady who runs this cafe is lovely and very welcoming. Highly recommend to give it a chance. It’s significantly better than most places on the street with higher google rates and deserves much more attention in this foodies opinion.

This establishment offers a distinctive dining experience. While its exterior may not immediately capture the attention of passersby, it was recommended through my wife's AI search. The staff provides a welcoming service and is adept at accommodating linguistic differences. The ambiance is remarkably serene, evoking the atmosphere of a private residence rather than a typical restaurant. The rooftop location provides a pleasant setting with a refreshing breeze. We sampled the Samoussa and the fried skewered chicken. Although the Samoussa could be improved with more seasoning, its overall flavor was acceptable. The Coca-Cola had a unique taste and was served at a cool temperature, rather than chilled. The chicken was prepared with local spices and fried, resulting in a unique and enjoyable flavor profile. The bread offered a familiar taste. This small, unique establishment provides a surprising culinary experience. I would consider a return visit if the opportunity arises. On a side note they don't take credit cards. Cash only

Charmingly decorated, petite cafe with lovely staff. Menu offers assorted coffees, tea, and juices as well as lunch/brunch foods. A perfect place for people watching as the locals walk by, returning from their shopping on Rue de la Kasbah. We particularly enjoyed the detox juice which includes fresh ginger and lemon, as well as the Italian Coffee brewed and served in an authentic Moka Pot. The cafe's eclectic mix of cups and saucers is also delightful. The cafe also remain opens during Ramadan, making it one of the few locations in Tangier where tourists can sit and eat during the day. Also, I don't know about you, but drinking from a vintage teacup makes a cafe experience so much more lovely. If you feel the same, this is the place for you!

Cute place with very delicious food. Service is prompt and they will go out of their way to accommodate you. Fresh fruit juice is a nice starter. Will definitely come back for another meal here.

Went for breakfast. Omelette was nice, real orange juice and a mint tea with sugar on the side was fantastic to let you sweeten it to your liking. Waitress was nice, but what really bothered me was the cook who did not aknowledged my smiles and my thanks. She did not look at me once, looked bored and bothered to do her job, and it's just insulting. I then realized she had one earbud on. But really, don't do customer service if you act like you're above it all. Really disappointed.
Tau B — Google review
After my wife and I (born and raised in Morocco) have re-discovered Tangier through the film "only lovers left alive” by Jim Jarmush (couple of scenes were taken in this beautiful city), we became aware by chance on our way to Kasabah on L'anglaise and had a very good diner back in the days 2014. Today I came here for the 6th time and ate kefta (ground beef) with pickled peppers and tomatoes. The food melts in your mouth like butter. Typical Mediterranean / Moroccan cuisine with healthy meat / vegetable combinations rounded by its simplicity. I definitely recommend this piece of art cuisine. The location is decorated so carefully and artistically that you feel like you are in a museum. Imagine that, good food and cultural heritage at the same time.
Mohammed M — Google review
Original vegan tajine, rooftop terrace, warm and welcoming service. This was the best place I have eaten in Tangier or in Morocco for that matter. I can also truly say that 'a l'anglaise' is vegetarian or vegan-friendly. You can eat a vegetarian tajine anywhere, but much less effort and care is usually put into those dishes. This cute family business welcomes you with a lovely mother and her daughters in a carefully decorated and cozy living room setting. The girls speak perfect English and are more than happy to have a friendly chat and give you some recommendations on what to do in the area. One of the best things about this place is the lovely rooftop terrace. There is an inside as well as an outside part to accommodate you despite the weather conditions. They have a good wifi connection-which can be hard to find-although it does not reach the rooftop. Now the food; it was pricier than at other places. We paid two or three times as much. But it has not been easy to find Moroccan food with a twist. As a vegan, my options are either vegetarian tajine or couscous. This becomes boring quite quickly because it is always prepared with the same vegetables (carrots, zucchini, potato) and prepared with much less care than this beautiful creation. I ordered a vegan tajine and got a beautifully presented artichoke tajine with leek and legumes. On the side I ordered some delicious vegan spinach samosas on a bed of mint leaves. All of this with freshly squeezed orange juice of course. Pros: - original vegetarian tajine - understood veganism - speak fluent English - friendly service - rooftop terrace - good wifi connection Cons: - wifi did not reach rooftop - pricier than other restaurants

With an extensive 18-page menu, it caters to every craving, from traditional Moroccan breakfast options to creamy risotto for dinner and delightful parfaits for dessert.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently visited Panorama Tanger and was very impressed by the service and ambiance. The restaurant offers a stunning view of the sea, creating a relaxing and pleasant atmosphere. What stood out the most was the strategic management of the servers. Despite the high volume of customers, the staff maintained a high level of professionalism and efficiency. Orders were taken and served promptly, always with courtesy, which greatly enhanced my dining experience. I highly recommend Panorama Tanger for anyone looking for a charming place with impeccable service in Tangier.

I came here on holiday to relax and have a good time, so on my first day, I decided to try this restaurant since it seemed popular and fairly busy. I assumed that was a good sign — unfortunately, I was wrong. The prices were high for what turned out to be a terrible dining experience. I ordered the seafood pizza, which was honestly one of the worst meals I’ve ever had. The food was undercooked — it tasted like it hadn’t even been properly heated, let alone cooked through. About an hour after eating, I started vomiting. That tells you everything you need to know about the quality and safety of the food. If you’re European, like I am, I totally understand your standards and expectations when it comes to food and hygiene. This restaurant does not meet them. I strongly advise you to avoid this place — there’s clearly no concern for food safety or customer well-being. They seem to just serve whatever without care.
Ziad B — Google review
Overpriced and overrated. The only good thing here is the view of the sea, but everything else is a letdown. Honestly, they only sell you the sea view, nothing more. The service is careless, the food lacks flavor, and the prices are way too high for what you get. Definitely not worth visiting.. better to enjoy the view from somewhere else.

Really nice place! The food was tasty and well served, everything fresh and full of flavor. The staff were kind and welcoming, they really make you feel comfortable. The atmosphere is cozy with a beautiful view — perfect to relax and enjoy a good meal. It can get a bit crowded sometimes, but it’s totally worth it. I’ll definitely come back!

We went in the morning with a group of friends for breakfast, the seating outside was very good with nice views. But the view is much better from the upper floor(but no outdoor seating) the food was good. We tried the Moroccon breakfast and different types of eggs
Wael — Google review
The café looks attractive from the outside and has a good location, but I was disappointed by the poor quality of service. My order was served in a cracked cup, and the glass of water was dirty. Moreover, it has been a long time since I last saw water being served in a glass instead of a bottle.

First time to Cafe panorama and was not impressed. Food was average and overcooked. Expensive for what it is. Small portion sizes based on the price, dry bread served with the food..who knows how old it is.. fresh orange juice, definitely not, watered down. Overall not impressed.. wouldn't recommend.. we are visiting from UK in case anyone thinks this is a local competitor bad mouthing the place.

Great place with a beautiful view. The only downside is the high prices and the loud atmosphere, as everyone tends to speak a bit louder.

Alma Kitchen & Coffee is a trendy spot located near the new marina in Tangier. Opened by Skalli and her husband, Seif Kousmate, this restaurant and coffee shop boasts an inviting design and inclusive atmosphere. The aesthetically pleasing and minimalistic space offers delicious fresh food, excellent service, and well-prepared drinks. Visitors rave about the generous portion sizes of main dishes like beet-hummus, heavenly sweets including cookies, and exceptional vegetarian cuisine that exceeds expectations.
After 11 days in Morocco, this was one of the best meal that we had by far! My husband and I loved this restaurant. It’s got a great vibe and the music is good too. Everyone needs to eat here! I’m so happy that we found this spot in Tangier. The food is AMAZING! We had the trio of dips, salad (so fresh), fish tacos, octopus (so tender) with delicious potatoes, and hot chocolate. Our waiters were so kind and helpful. It felt so nice to eat dinner in a clean & peaceful setting after our 11 day trip in Morocco came to an end in Tangier. So, if you’re the owner reading this: thank you so so much for creating this beautiful restaurant. It means a lot to us as travelers to find a place like this to rest and enjoy flavorful food. Your team is very kind and helpful too!

Everything about Alma Kitchen & Coffee is so lovely--from the beautiful interior, attentive service, to the menu. It has a relaxed, classy atmosphere. My husband and I came for an early dinner today and had a wonderful meal. Excellent winter salad, fish tacos, and chicken Thai ciabatta sandwich. Everything was fresh and delicious. Even the excellent genmaicha tea was lovely at the end of our meal. Staff is very nice and professional. They even have a small, stylish gift shop where I bought a tote bag which will be a special keepsake from Tanger. Many thanks! ✨ *I also want to sincerely apologize because I meant to tip the staff for their wonderful service and I am so sorry I forgot while getting the bag...

We had a great lunch in Tangier. The place has a lovely atmosphere and the music was perfect. We tried the vegetarian ravioli with nuts and basil, the smokey aubergine, and the vegan keftah. Everything was delicious. The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly. Definitely a great spot

Beautiful spot, airy with lots of natural light, seating on two levels inside and also out front. The potato appetizer is amazing. Fried olives, eggplant appetizer, basically everything I tried was delicious. Staff is lovely. The chai latte was the best I’ve ever had. Highly recommend.

Juices here are exceptional, and the coffee smells great, so I'll definitely be back for that soon. Cakes were great, but prices are on the higher-side of Tangier as most of the food is artisan-styled. There is an area upstairs for working with laptops if needed. I went midafternoon in the week and it was starting to get busy, but there are plenty of seats.

Best place for veggie Food and coffee in tangier - the service is excellent, the details are great, the meals are so tasty and the ben the music choice is great. We had a wonderful time. Try the no-meat balls tajine! Also the V60 coffee is fantastic. Go, check it out

We really enjoyed this place. The food was really good, it was quite clean and they were quick to serve us when we arrived for supper at 7:00 p.m., which I guess is early for Tangier! The pulled pork dish was great and so were the sandwiches that our friends got. It was interesting to see that they have a bunch of gluten-free and vegan options.

Cafe
Café Tinjis is a favorite spot in Tangier, known for its local atmosphere and strong coffee. It's one of the oldest cafes in the area, attracting both locals and tourists. While the food selection is minimal, it's a great place to people-watch as visitors make their way from the medina to Grand Socco. The café offers reliable WiFi and a relaxed ambiance, with locals often gathered inside watching sports or movies on TV.
Try the crepes (listed as pancakes). I had it with Nutella but it’s listed as chocolate. The coffee is semi-strong here. I also had the avocado smoothie. It’s not as concentrated as you think. Far better than you expect. For everything in the pictures, I paid 135 MAD (Durham) but make sure to tip. I didn’t try the omelette, but my boyfriend said it was good. The cheese on the side was great but be mindful that it has a sour aftertaste. Not a strong one, but it’s present. And that taste doesn’t linger. So that’s good.
MsGoofyPrincess — Google review
One of the iconic cafes in Tangier. I liked the natural mint tea as they do in Morocco and the fact that they did it without sugar. However, I did not like that they put 2 bottles of water without ordering them that they charge 5 dirhams later on for each. Just inform customers of this and they will not feel you try to scam them. Other than that the cafe is at a nice plaza where a lot happens so you can just chill there for a while
Jessica S — Google review
In the hub of the tourist-trap that is the Medina these days, a fading aftertaste of Café Tingis', and thereby Tangier's, iconic past still lingers, just about. Haunted by a selection of regulars, many quite interesting, the smell of hashish, mint, and sweet honey fill the air. One of the few places I, as a non-local, wasn't over-charged as standard practice too, which is notable. Grab a cup, share a conversation or two with the local folks on neighbouring tables, and watch the world pass by.
Matthew S — Google review
This place brings you back in time like 50 years. Old fashion venue, staff and system. The bill on a piece of paper handwritten. One of the things I would remark is the lack of cleaning on the crockery. Glasses had dirt from the beginning of the times. Besides that, very touristic place.
Roberto — Google review
The place has quite a history to it. And a certain subtle vibe, which takes some time to sense. The Moroccan tea and pancakes didn't taste any different, yet we went here every day during our stay in Tangier.
Toomas V — Google review
Really nice spot to people watch. We all had a light breakfast which was delicious. The staff were friendly. Slightly random accounting for the food prices but it was still cheap so wasn’t too worried. I think it was 5-10MAD more than what we added up for the price.

Le Coeur de Tanger is a charming cafe located in Ville Nouvelle, offering a unique experience with its first-floor terrace overlooking the city. Guests can enjoy drinks and tapas while listening to live music, creating the perfect setting to unwind and soak in the beauty of Morocco. The cafe boasts an exceptional price-to-quality ratio, providing great value, ambiance, and music. Known for its outstanding seafood dishes and generous portions, it offers a delightful culinary experience.
I love everything about this place, the service was so attentive and seamless. The bartenders were lovely characters on their own, a welcoming smile and a lot of delicious tapas. Thank you!

Upstairs from the famous Cafe de Paris at the Place de France is a tapas bar and restaurant called Le Coeur de Tanger. Its entrance is on the side road: Rue Annoual. I once ate dinner here some years ago and enjoyed the view from the window of the Place de France below. People I know who like to drink tell me this is worth going to for the tapas that may be fish, salad, lentils, etc., and all are delicious. Just order a beer or two at the bar, or a glass of wine. It is almost a lunch in itself. This bar at one time had strong WiFi, which was helpful and convenient for its patrons but it no longer has WiFi, which is a great disappointment. The owner should restore this service. This bar is closed during the entire month of Ramadan. Once you walk up the steep stairs you will find a regular clientelle of Moroccan residents and some tourists sitting at the dimly-lit bar enjoying their drinks and generous portions of delicious tapas. The food is just OK. I would not reccomend eating at Le Coeur de Tanger. Someone I have known for years told me that a chunk of ceiling plaster came crashing down while he was having a beer at the bar, and after he photographed it, the manager seemed annoyed. He said he was nearly hit by falling debris and he wanted to document it. Clearly, this place urgently needs professional restoration and repairs.

Service was absolutely crap. The guy had us waiting over half an hour, but kept saying 5 minutes. He was checking the girls out the little weirdo. Then getting them seated before us. Also, this guy must have never brushed his teeth in his life. I’m sure he doesn’t own a tooth brush. Had to give him a mint so he doesn’t ruin peoples appetites. Ended up leaving him the whole pack cos he needs it more than anyone else in this whole universe. Pizza was nice. Atmosphere is amazing. The place is really nice. Dessert and milkshakes are mediocre, nothing too special. I’d go back for the pizza though. Toilets are nice and clean. So if you need to drop some logs, don’t hesitate to go into their toilets after. Especially if you’re going to be having any milkshakes. Also, sit inside if you’re with kids. Everyone’s smoking in the outside seating area. Chips/French fries are whack. I think that’s just how it is, in the whole of Morocco. But other than that, if you’re in Tangier for a quick visit, it’s a nice place to sit and eat.

I’ve visited Cappuccino Café multiple times over the years, hoping it would improve, but unfortunately it’s been disappointing every single time. The prices are extremely high for what they offer, and the quality simply doesn’t justify the cost. The place is always overcrowded, and the music is so loud that it’s impossible to have a proper conversation. The waiters are consistently rude and unwelcoming, which really ruins the experience. The food is terrible, poorly presented, and far from fresh. The drinks menu is limited and shockingly overpriced. It feels more like a place for show-off and taking pictures than somewhere to actually enjoy a good meal or coffee. If you’re looking for quality, comfort, or good service in Tangier, I strongly suggest going elsewhere.

Cappuccino Café – Stylish But Disappointing for Coffee Lovers 😕☕ I had heard a lot about Cappuccino Café in Tangier — it’s definitely one of the well-known spots, with a beautiful space and stylish furniture ✨ The place looks impressive from the outside and inside, no doubt. But honestly? I didn’t enjoy the vibe. The seating felt cold and impersonal — the space is huge, and instead of feeling cozy, I just felt… out of place 🪑❄️ Of course, with a name like Cappuccino, I came in expecting a standout coffee experience. Unfortunately, the cappuccino I ordered was a letdown. The flavor was bland, like something you’d get from a basic Nespresso machine at home 😐 And honestly, I think I could make a better one myself! It was clear that they weren’t using specialty beans — just very standard coffee with no richness or depth. So if you’re looking for high-quality coffee, this is not the place. I also ordered a molten cake with ice cream, and surprisingly, I did enjoy that 🍫🍨 — it was the highlight of my visit. Rich, warm, and delicious. As for the rest of the menu — I didn’t try their food, but based on the atmosphere, it felt more like a place for lunch or dinner than a café for true coffee lovers 🍽️ Would I return? No, I don’t think so. There are far better places in Tangier to enjoy a real coffee experience. ☕💔

Café Restaurant Cap Spartel is situated at the meeting point of the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea, offering a unique and breathtaking view. The restaurant's terrace provides an ideal vantage point to witness stunning sunsets. The menu features a variety of Moroccan dishes, snacks, paninis, crepes, salads, and fresh fish. Visitors can savor delicious Moroccan tea and traditional pancakes while taking in the picturesque surroundings.
Cap Spartel – Where Two Seas Meet and One Tagine Steals the Show Cap Spartel is that magical spot where the Atlantic Ocean and Mediterranean Sea politely shake hands before going their separate ways. Standing by the lighthouse, you get sweeping views that make you feel both tiny and important at the same time — like you’ve just stumbled onto the edge of a map in an old adventure novel. On the way up, you even pass one of the King’s many palaces, a gentle reminder that while some of us collect fridge magnets, others collect entire palatial estates. Tucked into this postcard-perfect location is a charming café where the staff are so warm and welcoming, you half expect them to adopt you. I ordered the Lamb Tagine and can confidently say it was less of a meal and more of a life event. The meat was so tender it surrendered to the fork without a fight, the sauce so rich and aromatic it deserved its own fan club. For dessert, the Nutella crepe arrived positively brimming with chocolate — so generously filled that I suspect it was smuggling half the cocoa reserves of West Africa. Sweet, indulgent, and entirely unapologetic. If you find yourself anywhere near Tangier, do yourself a favour: visit Cap Spartel. Come for the views, stay for the lamb, and leave with your heart (and stomach) utterly content.

Nice Setting. Poor service. Food mediocre. Took a while for food to come out( only ordered two toasted sandwiches and drinks). Only one toasted sandwich arrived and that was barely warm. We waited for about an hour without any attention or cleaning of the table which was dirty and full of used plates. We were not given the menu or asked what we wanted to eat. We went to the manager to ask him: why don't they send someone to serve us or we will have to leave the restaurant because we are hungry and thirsty? The food was expensive and not worth it. Three cups of soup, a small sea bass and some seafood for 650 Moroccan dirhams. It was a bad experience and I don’t recommend anyone to go to the same restaurant.

Paul is an international restaurant and patisserie with a great view of the new marina. They offer delicious pastries like the Old Fashion Flute, which can be conveniently ordered through Glovo. The bakery's baguettes are fresh, tasty, and more affordable than those found elsewhere. While the lack of air conditioning may be a concern during hot weather, the service from staff members like Haytam is top-notch.

We went there twice, once for lunch and once for breakfast. Contrary to other experiences, the service was good. The waiter even typed in the WiFi password. Both times we had the same server and he was obviously happy to see us returning. Especially the breakfast was very nice.

We paid 110dh for two coffees and a smoothie, the smoothie was even not mixed properly I had to take it back to the kitchen. I gave 120dh in cash, and the waiter simply did not want to give back the 10dh change, I had to insist. Service is painfully slow, and the quality is nowhere near what you would expect from a Paul. When I asked to pay by card, the waiter claimed they didn’t have a payment terminal, even though there clearly is one on-site. On top of that, we were never given a receipt. Overall, the experience felt dishonest and far below the brand’s usual standards.

A pitiful cafe experience, falling short of any sophistication it claims to promote. Unprofessional staff, lacking respect and efficiency in service. Orange juice resembling tap water with an artificial orange tint. Tasteless tea. A view overlooking a car garage – nauseating and amusing. A horrendous experience I wouldn't wish to repeat. Desserts with decent taste but overly priced. Not recommended.

This is our go-to bakery. We go here whenever we want bread or pastries. It's a chain restaurant so it may differ depending on which one you go but the one in Casa, Tangier, and Mohammedia are pretty good. I'd say the only bread that would top this is your local handmade, bakery in Italy or France.

The cafe has a nice and lovely atmosphere, which makes for a pleasant place to relax. However, the service was disappointingly slow — it took over 30 minutes for our food to arrive, which really impacted the overall experience. On top of that, the pricing felt quite unreasonable for what was offered. While the setting is charming, the slow service and high prices make it hard to recommend.

Café le Mirage is good enough for a drink after a walk nearby the Perdicaris park (Rmilat parcue). But the menu is not up to date anymore, so they didn't have much. The employee was a bit negative about the drinks we wanted to order, that was a bit arrogant in my opinion. We also had dinner. I would recommend the ceasar wrap. The rest of the food is average. PS) I think that the comments of the owner on some (previous) reviews are very unprofessional. It shows that there is no such thing as learning from feedback of your customers. And there is no respect or high hospitality. Too bad. Khosara!

One of the best cafe's I have visited in Tanger. My wife got the shakshuka and the flavor and quality of it was really good. I tried the croissant sandwich and thoroughly enjoyed it. Coffee had a good taste. But the best part was the pastry, we had a raspberry gateau and it was absolutely stunning. Perfectly light and airy with the perfect balance of sweet with hits of acidity from the raspberries. I would highly recommend the pastries at Le Mirage, best in Tangier in my opinion!

Cafe
Gran Café Central is a popular and well-known cafe in Tangier, Morocco, located in the heart of the city. It's a favorite spot for both locals and tourists to unwind, socialize, and savor a variety of drinks and snacks. The cafe boasts an inviting atmosphere with stylish decor and comfortable seating. Whether you're craving coffee, delectable treats, or a relaxed meal, Gran Café Central offers an extensive menu to cater to diverse preferences.
Gran Central Cafe, just outside the Medina, is a fantastic spot for people watching! The outdoor tables offer prime views of the bustling surroundings and I could sit here for hours. The menu is extensive and the baghrir with amlou was deliciously authentic. Only downside is they only accept cash, so come prepared.

Had several meals here, all were tasty & served without delay. Although there is no smoking inside, customers do smoke outside & some of that smoke drifts in, though it’s not noticeable unless sat near an open window. .
Phil L — Google review
This place was recommended to us by some local guy. We went there and sat on the terrace outside, where there was a lot of movement by local people and some amusement. This was nice. There were unfortunately more things that weren't nice, at all! The first thing was the part where my friend, who ate the fish tagine, got sick a couple of hours later. And not just like a stomach ache, no, real food poisoning with all the bells and whistles included. We'll spare you the details. But she had to cancel her trip the day after and couldn't sleep at all that night. It was horror. The other thing that was quite annoying, was that a lot of people, young kids mostly, come to your table to sell you something or ask for money. We're just trying to have dinner/enjoy the night.. Just leave people be please. The staff never told them to go away, they just let it happen. Long story short; don't come here if you don't want to get seriously sick or bothered. Thank us later. Adios!

I'm surprised that this place has only 3.8 star ratings... I looked at the lowest reviews and now it is very clear why: people are complaining about the food quality and long wait time. Obviously there will be some adjustments you need to make if you are going to cafeteria to eat dinner, their specialty is at drinks and puddings with some extend to hot meals. But iny opinion it is a perfect spot for small refreshments. Prime location Beautiful place, nice interior, Big space Good service Big variety of drinks and desserts Staff very professional We had: * Mint tea * Crêpe with bananas and sauce * Cheesecake * Pinacolada * Fruit cocktail It was one of the best baked cheesecake I had outside. Served cold with hot chocolate sauce and fruits Cheesecake was not too sweet so the sauce was really balancing and complementing the taste. Mint tea also nice, not too strong. Cocktails were huge so make sure you have the space and craving to finish it Definitely recommend it for a tea and pudding. Not sure about food. I see lots of people having their dinner now and they seems to enjoy it

The historically popular Café Central! Grab a seat where/when/if you can! Come with patience; the waitstaff are constantly speeding around, but are helpful and friendly when you flag them down. The food was enjoyable (vegetarian options available) and didn't take as long as I'd thought it would. Make sure to get a seat outside facing the street, as it's a prime location for people-watching and street performers (some really good! Others not so much). Wasn't a fan of the smoke, but that's Tangier.

The only place in Tangier that sells couscous when it's not friday. Also, the fastest service we experienced and everyone was very polite. The couscous was 100% worth it!

As a local I never really ordered food here because I assumed it was just some overpriced touristy restaurant. To my suprise the food is actually really good. I ordered a bit of everything and can say I’m really impressed. The only downside is service can be a bit slow at times.
Yassine — Google review
I waited 25 minutes for my lime mojito... Instead of telling there was an issue with the ice machine, they ignored me for 25 minutes. I should have just left, but being a nice person, I waited to catch the waiter's eyes (as he kept avoiding my table) so I could tell him to forget about my order. They finally brought it to me. I asked for not too sweet -- obvisouly it was as sweet as a 3:1 sugar syrup and bloody sprinkled with icing sugar 🥴

Le Boulevard, the heart of downtown Tangier, offers a delightful blend of moderate luxury and convenience. While it’s more affordable than Playa, it still provides a central location with access to supermarkets, hairdressers, restaurants, cafes, and even spas. For city dwellers on a budget who prefer not to stay by the beach, this neighborhood is an ideal choice. When you visit Le Boulevard, don’t miss out on indulging in a Parisien breakfast at one of its charming cafes.
Wonderful place friendly stuff the food is amazing . I recommend for breakfast the have all kinds of breakfast American spend Italian and Moroccan and international.

The food is good, plenty of choises, the service took a lot of time, the server was nice but another person was so rude; however the place is for everyone & the pasteries are sooooooo good

Nice place with a good atmosphere. The food is generally tasty, and the prices are reasonable. We ordered a panini sandwich and a shawarma plate. The panini was delicious, but the shawarma was too chewy, and some chicken pieces were undercooked. This was a first, as we have eaten at this place multiple times and the food has always been good. It would be better if the food quality were more consistent.
Salma B — Google review
Great pastries, but the service is bad, especially for foreigners. Slightly more expensive than similar places, but much better flavor. I rarely have had bad service in Tangier, but this place is probably one of the worst I've been to. Take your order as take away.
LasVegas C — Google review
Parisien breakfast is a good combo. It comes with orange juice and coffee of your choice. The butter was delicious and paired nicely with the croissant. You get a regular butter croissant, pan au chocolat, pan au raisin and a pasty filled with crushed almonds. Unfortunately the croissant and pain au chocolat were a bit stale. Would’ve tasted much better if they were warmed up just a bit. Overall, this cafe has good wifi, the service is good. Toilettes are clean and there is a prayer room. The Caesar salad was alright. The crotons were not crunchy at all. A tad dry since the sauce wasn’t enough in my opinion. A good salad and is quite filling. Not the best Caesar salad but not the worst either. The pan Suisse is delicious. Mille-feuilles was delicious. I choose the almond one. They have a variety of pastries on display and you can choose whatever you want.

his is the second branch that opened in Tangier, and the space is really lovely ; especially the garden seating outside, which is perfect for a chill family lunch or dinner. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. The menu offers quite a variety. We tried the ice cream first, and it was excellent; I had the Coppa Siciliana, which was rich and high quality. For the main dishes, the smoked salmon pizza was good, though the salmon was a bit too salty and could use better balance. My friend had the chicken burger, which was juicy but overall quite bland; the bread and sauce could definitely be improved, so I wouldn’t order it again. The highlight was the truffle pasta with stracciatella ; absolutely amazing. The creamy texture and perfect truffle flavor made it the star of the meal. Chef’s kiss!

Café Achakar is a delightful gem that you simply must visit during your travels. Nestled just a short stroll from popular tourist attractions, this café offers an array of delicious Moroccan pastries and refreshing teas at incredibly reasonable prices—perfect for refueling after a day of exploring! On my Saturday afternoon visit, the atmosphere was pleasantly calm, allowing me to enjoy the friendly service provided by Rajah, despite some minor language barriers.
Really good food for an even better price. Seriously unheard of for a place so close to a tourist spot. I strongly recommend you go here instead of the other places closer to the cave. It's only a 3 min walk away

We went on a saturday afternoon, restaurant was quiet. Rajah was our waitress, she was nice, Some language barriers but you could help yourself to your own drinks, serviettes, knives and forks if you needed without bothering anyone. They have a good selection of fresh juices and drinks available. Food was good too as we all finished our food. Bathroom is a bit dodge but does the job. Popular spot for police to come and have their drinks. Cafe is situated very near to Hercules Cave and near to a guarded gate to what looks like a premium posh hotel. Parking is 10 dirhams and you can use the same parking for Hercules Cave too.

We went with a food tour guide. The gentleman holding the newspaper was friendly, informative and attentive. He lead us through the whole process of grinding and adding spices. Let us smell the spices. Coffee was strong even though we got it with milk. We asked for sugar packets. Be mindful that the bottom of your cup will have spices (texture). I do not know the price of the coffee since it was included in the tour.

A must try. The quality is top notch and they make you feel at home, charging the right amount for Morocco. We tried latte and also espresso. He offers with spices (mix of several, or only cardamom) or without. The owner explained everything about coffee and we tasted different types. He roasts his own coffee beans and from different origins. He has a type that has less caffeine (not totally decaf) and we felt very well afterwards. He also gave great recommendations of restaurants and places to visit. Thanks for your kindness. We will go again for sure!

Hotel Andalucia Golf & Spa Tanger is a sophisticated hotel located near the airport in Tangier. It offers modern rooms with balconies, a restaurant, hammam, and a pool. The hotel is just a short walk from Tangier Royal Golf Club and Socco Alto Mall. Guests can relax at the full-service spa or enjoy recreational amenities such as an outdoor pool and golf course. While some guests found the rooms satisfactory, there were suggestions for improvements to enhance the overall experience.
As a boss who organized a stay for more than 200 people, I can confidently say that everyone was well taken care of. The staff was consistently attentive and accommodating. Throughout our entire stay, the hotel maintained impeccable cleanliness. My heartfelt thanks go out to all the staff for their warm welcome and exceptional service.
Said J — Google review
Title: “Disappointing Experience at Hotel Andalucia Golf : Poor Service and Lack of Basic Amenities” I recently stayed at this hotel and, to be honest, it was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I was expecting at least a basic level of service and comfort, but unfortunately, the hotel failed to deliver on multiple fronts. Firstly, upon arrival, I realized that there were no towels provided in the room. I had to call the front desk multiple times before anyone responded, and even then, it took forever for them to bring up a single towel. This lack of attention to detail was a huge letdown, as towels should be a basic amenity that every guest can expect. Another major issue was the floor in the room—it was unbelievably cold. There wasn’t any carpeting or rugs to make it comfortable, and stepping on that freezing floor made the entire stay very uncomfortable, especially at night. I couldn’t walk around the room barefoot, which is not something you expect when staying at a hotel. Lastly, the service was painfully slow. Every time I requested something, it took ages for them to respond, whether it was for a towel, an extra pillow, or just a simple question. The staff seemed disinterested and unmotivated, which only added to the disappointment. Overall, I would not recommend staying at this hotel if you’re looking for a comfortable and hassle-free experience. There are plenty of other hotels out there that actually value their guests and provide basic amenities without making you wait. This hotel, unfortunately, falls short on both service and comfort, and it’s safe to say that I won’t be returning.
Abdul B — Google review
Never Want to Stay Here Again The hotel is so old that the entire building has a strong, unpleasant odor. The towels were so dirty that the white ones had turned black, making them unusable. Both the room and the bedding had an overwhelming smell. I definitely do not want to come back.
Sunny P — Google review
The hotel is nice and the staff are very friendly. However, the rooms could use some improvements, especially in the air conditioning, ventilation, and heating systems. The breakfast is good, and for the price, it’s a good value overall. The location is also great — close to the golf course and Socco alto Mall, which makes it very convenient.
R A — Google review
The hotel is full of issues that need to be fixed. When you mention an issue like towels in the rooms or AC the manager doesn’t not even apologize to the clients. It is one of the worst management I have ever seen in business of tourism. Rude and incompetent and they need a lot of trainings to know how talk with frustrated customers who sho show up for some basic issues like toilet paper. Their food was ok though.
Qasbi R — Google review
I would give zero if it was an option. Do not stay here. The breakfast was inedible, wilted salad with stale bread and cakes. The rooms were vile. When we got there, it still had someone else’s hair in the bed and on the floor. The carpets have stains all over them, our bathroom door handle was hanging off. The fridge door was broken, the carpets outside the room STINK and are so so dirty. The whole reason we booked this hotel, was because it advertised a gym and spa. Got to reception and asked where it was, it doesn’t exist!!!! We asked to change rooms, we got told no. We tried to purchase a different hotel we could stay in, they all don’t accept non married couples into the same room. So unfortunately, we were stuck for the entire week here. The cleaners take your towels weather clean or dirty. Then later on decide to walk into your room, without knocking or asking to come in. They just let themselves in, whether you want them or not, crazy. This is the worst place I have ever stayed. The personal hygiene of staff wasn’t great, most of them smell of BO. And what ever issues you have, don’t bother speaking to the reception staff, as they really don’t care.
Bry — Google review
N/A on the stay. Just stopped at the restaurant for a drink and snack. Expensive by local standards with nothing interesting to note. I recommend a bottle of wine versus a mixed drink. We got ours and had to buy a shot to add to the already $15 drink (so plus $8) just to get it legit.

If you're looking for a delightful breakfast spot with stunning ocean views, look no further than RR Ice. This popular café among locals offers a delicious morning menu that pairs perfectly with the serene backdrop of the Mediterranean Sea. After your meal, consider taking a leisurely stroll along the newly renovated corniche, part of the ambitious Tanger Metropole project initiated by King Mohammed VI in 2013. The walk will lead you to the vibrant new marina filled with modern restaurants and shops.
I had lunch with my family at RR ICE restaurant. The food was very good — the chicken pizza was delicious, and the continental breakfast was tasty with generous portions. Our waiter, Naoufal, was exceptionally kind and attentive, making sure we were well taken care of throughout the meal. However, the experience was slightly overshadowed by the manager, who spoke loudly and appeared visibly irritated, which created an uncomfortable atmosphere. Overall, great food and service from the staff, but the management could improve their customer interaction.

This restaurant is amazing a couple friendly, family friendly, I have ordered the tagliatelle pasta with seafood and white sauce which was a delicious meal, the view is really nice, when it’s empty I would definitely say that the staff are overwhelmed if they are not full you will get a really good customer service but if they are busy mistakes tend to happen more which is normal the only thing I learned is if you don’t like something you have to communicate and a service recovery will be applied because management does have a good control over the situation 💕

The worst café experience in Tangier! We ordered: omelette with cheese (57 MAD), RR-ICE omelette (65 MAD), flavored green tea (32 MAD), and orange juice (38 MAD). Total: 192 MAD! The food was a disaster: the omelette was stuffed with cheap tasteless cheese, vegetables were cut randomly, and the presentation was disgusting. Prices are outrageously high compared to the very poor quality. Slow and unprofessional service. This place is a total disgrace and I strongly advise against going there.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ I visited this restaurant and overall had a great experience. The food was delicious, especially the desserts (Pastele), which were absolutely amazing. The waiter was very kind and helpful, offering honest recommendations with a warm smile throughout our visit. 🌟🌟🌟One of the highlights for me was the availability of a prayer area for both men and women — a thoughtful and much-appreciated feature. The location is also stunning, with a breathtaking view of the sea where you can watch the sunset.🌅 However, there were a couple of things that bothered me. First, the staff seemed to be under a lot of pressure due to the restaurant’s policy on fast service. 🥺🥺🥺 While quick service is appreciated, the stress on the waiters was clearly visible and a bit uncomfortable to witness. Second, the menu was only available in French, with no Arabic option — which felt strange for a restaurant in an Arab country like Morocco. ‼️ Also, the prices were quite high compared to local standards. Overall, it was a lovely experience with great food and service, but there’s definitely room for improvement.

I didn’t enjoy RR ICE Café much. It’s always crowded, mostly with families, and I found it too expensive for what it offers. The place feels more focused on luxury than comfort. The view is nice, but overall, not really for me.

This seaside café is an absolute gem! With both indoor and outdoor seating, it’s the perfect spot to enjoy a relaxed meal while taking in the beautiful coastal views. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, making you feel welcome the moment you arrive. The menu offers a wonderful mix of Moroccan and international breakfast options — everything is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Whether you’re craving a traditional Moroccan spread or something more global, you’ll find something delicious here. Between the unbeatable location, the warm hospitality, and the outstanding food, this café is a must-visit for anyone looking to start their day by the sea.

The prices here are insanely expensive — it feels like they’re charging Swedish monthly salary levels. I honestly don’t understand why people keep coming back. Even I only wanted to stay in the winter here for more than 10 minutes before running away.

Woods Café-Restaurant is an excellent spot to enjoy a meal and socialize with friends or family. The establishment offers high-quality cuisine and exceptional customer service. I have personally frequented this venue multiple times over the past three years, and it has never failed to impress me. The hospitable host, Abu Baker, always greets patrons with a warm smile. When dining here, be sure to extend a friendly greeting and inquire about his background.
We were pressed for time and let them know when we ordered. The mojito and smoothie came quickly and were excellent. The salads came 25 minutes after placing our order but only 8 minutes before we had to leave (which they knew). Sadly we had to eat quickly and leave a lot untouched. This was particularly sad because the salads were both beautiful and delicious.

Before I go into detail about this restaurant that does not honor what they promise I will review the things that matter more. We got pasta and it was just OK. I make it better at home. The restaurant is hot so we sat on the balcony which does have a nice view and nice seating. The drinks were good. The waiter didn’t like us asking questions and was a little rude with my husband for this. The price is a little more expensive for the same meal which would make you think the meal had a better flavor, but as I mentioned above, with the pasta the flavor is not better. Maybe the Moroccan food is better…I hope so but we didn’t try. The bathrooms were clean. This place made a reservation for my husband and I for Valentine’s Day promising to have flower pedals on the table among other things. They did not do any of this. When we arrived my husband introduced me as his wife to the guy he spoke with a week prior to set up our Valentine’s Day reservation here I got the rudest welcome I have received in Morocco. We probably should have walked out but we didn’t, we decided to give them a chance to see because the place itself looks nice. But as we say in English, “Don’t judge a book by its cover.”

A quick dessert visit to Woods. Deco and atmosphere were pleasing. Service could’ve been better but the dessert and Moroccon tea compensated well.

BEFORE YOU BOOK OR GO, READ CAREFULLY. Nothing about this place is good except the view on the beach. Everything was bad in this place. We had a reservation made for an event where we were supposed to have a table with some flowers, romantic candles, music... we arrived and the agent was so rude, uninformed, they mistook my name, they had nothing ready. It was just horrible. They make you pay for things they're not going to do. When they fixed the place for us it was with PotPourri that you put in the bathroom and some old candles that they didn't light until we did it ourselves. It seems like they do this to everyone. The food was so bad, soggy pizza, crepes with the taste of curry... staff are very rude and they have no manners. See pictures for yourself and judge.

I highly admire this establishment! It's a hidden gem that I wholeheartedly endorse. Delice Sevilla offers authentic Moroccan dishes that are incredibly tasty, along with their selection of freshly made fruit juices. I particularly enjoyed the invigorating blend of ginger, lemon, and honey in one of their juice offerings. In fact, I'm tempted to make a daily visit just for that delightful beverage alone.
The food was amazingly good. We ordered egg omelette and it was the best omelette I ever tried. So creamy and perfect for 1.50 euros only. The meat balls was cooked with different herbs and tomatoes sauce that they used was so great. Can't really explain how the food was so good. The mango shake and Moroccan tea was also fantastic. The best of all the prices are not expensive. Really highly recommended.

Café Istanbul is a top spot to escape from the pressures of everyday life. The shisha is high quality, and the staff are skilled at preparing it. The menu with prices is a plus, and the atmosphere is family-friendly. Visitors can expect delicious food and fast, attentive service. The setting is lovely, making it an ideal place to unwind after a long day. Customers praise the excellent shisha and attentive staff, creating a welcoming environment for relaxation.
It’s a good place to go if you want to chill out for a bit. Good open space. Only downside is communication. It’s either Arabic or French. But that’s not an issue as you can use translation app. Other than it was a decent place. Clean and tidy.

Cafe Al Amal is a remarkable cafe located conveniently outside Bab Okla in Tetouan. The cafe offers delicious food and coffee at reasonable prices, making it a great choice for a meal. The owner, known for his amazing and friendly service, continues the legacy of his father who previously owned the cafe. Visitors can enjoy a tasty breakfast with vegetarian options available. It's an excellent spot to start your day with some delicious food and coffee while experiencing top-notch service from the owner.
This breakfast place was really nice. We spent the morning in Tetouan and wanted a place close by to eat breakfast at. Delicious food, we even got extra. Everyone in there was really friendly and we got recommended to go upstairs to take pictures because it looks nice up there. Really nice owner, would go again! We even got to write in a book that others wrote in too, it’s cool to see all the past customer’s experiences.

Superb service! We got seated, ordered and got served within 25 minutes. Our waiter was the kindest, he made sure we got everything we needed. The pastas were so deep in flavor I was thrown back to my days in Florence. The burger was so pretty and true to its picture I got shy from tasting it (was absolutely deliiiishious). The drink, refreshing. The food, more then generous. And the ambiance, relaxing. And what a pretty view may I add. I recommend!!

Unfortunately, my experience at Venicia Ice in Tangier was quite disappointing. First of all, the service was extremely slow, we had to wait over 30 minutes just to get our breakfast. When it finally arrived, the order was both wrong and incomplete. After informing the server about the mistakes, it took even longer for the corrected order to arrive, and even then, it was still missing items. My partner ordered the “Healthy” breakfast, but it was far from satisfactory. The quality of the cheese they use is very poor, it seems to be a low-quality spreadable cheese, and they use it as if it were cream cheese for the healthy option, and as Jeben for other breakfast dishes. Overall, it was an other disappointing experience at this place, and I don’t plan on going back to Venicia Ice again.

This restaurant is nothing short of beautiful and well decorated, as well as very comfortable. The staff are polite and helpful at any time of the day you stop to eat at their place. In addition, the food is really well cared for and even the pizza is really good both in the dough and in the topping, nothing to do with the fast food pizzas around the city. But what struck me most is the gourmet mushroom burger, Amazingly tasty.

I recently visited this café. The view is absolutely amazing, especially at night , it’s a great spot to see Tangier. The service, however, was slow, and the ice cream didn’t taste as good as I expected. On the bright side, the staff were friendly and welcoming. That said, if you compare what they offer with the prices, there’s a noticeable gap — the experience doesn’t quite match the cost. I really hope they can make some improvements in the future.

I visited Venezia Ice in Tangier, located right at the Marina with a stunning view of the sea and the beach 🌊☀️ Honestly, the location is absolutely beautiful — a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the scenery. But let’s be real… is the view everything? Not really. I ordered a cappuccino, and just like with some other places around here, the coffee was extremely basic. The beans they use taste cheap — like the kind you brew at home when you’re in a rush ☕😐 There was no richness, no depth, and definitely nothing “specialty” about it. Just your average, forgettable cup. And that’s a shame — because with a location this beautiful, the coffee should match the vibe. If they upgraded their coffee beans and used higher quality roasts, this place could be an amazing spot for coffee lovers. For now, it’s just “meh” — come for the view, but don’t expect much from the coffee 👎
Rashid ( — Google review
Location is great! But there is still a lot that needs to be improved. The hygiene of the staff is very low they are sweaty and they smell, their clothes are not clean, and that immediately makes you lose your appetite. They also set up a play area for kids, but it’s exclusive and requires extra payment. If that’s the case, it would be better not to have it at all. You’re trying to imitate Europe, but the standards are far from close. We sat for a while no Progress in serving us. It wasnt even that busy. Work on it. Such a waste of a beautiful Location

The best thing in that place is the outdoor seating area (on the backside). We enjoyed the nice ambience with the birds tweeting around us. Breakfast is good though not a big portion. We wish the roof seating area was open for us as the view would have been amazing from top. Service was good and we liked the staff hospitality.
غزاوي ا — Google review
The cafe is beautifully located, overlooking feddan square. It's also nicely built in Andalusian style, so it's breezy and and the seating is chill and inviting - there is a garden in the back. For those who need a quiet space to study and work with laptops, it's perfect. There are a few power outlets. The service is also good and professional. My only complaint is the washroom, because I came across a few times to small children soiling the bathroom floors. It's not the cafe's fault but it happened quite a few times I visited and it really hinders the cafe's image and reputation. I was told the public sometimes uses their washrooms because of lack of public restroom options in the area but prompt cleaning should be implemented since this happens so often. Perhaps a few toilet paper rolls available would be nice too. Otherwise, I like this cafe and will come back again.
Salma H — Google review
Worst cafe, worst food, worst service as it is very slow and some waiters are disrespectful when i tried to complain to the manager he was extra disrespectful (i complained about sitting for 1 hour without anyone taking my order when i got up to order from the counter myself in case they were busy they literally told me to go back to my seat with an aggressive tone as if I'm bothering them, when i said why are u treating me like this what did i do they said if u don't like it you can leave) Also, toilets are dirty and the hygiene is terrible. The only good thing to order there is Hot chocolate for people who don't like sweets.

The service at this café this summer was completely unacceptable. I planned to stay for 1 hour and 30 minutes, but I waited a full hour for someone to take my order. This left me with only 30 minutes to actually use the café. When I politely went to the counter, the waiter in charge of my area was rude and unprofessional, telling me I should have waited instead of bothering him. The supervisor was even worse he was dismissive and unhelpful. The food is poor, the service is terrible, and the only positive is the location in the city center. This café is only suitable if you need a place to study or work near the city center. For spending time with friends or family, there are far better options.

Well , i absolutely don't recommend this place for anyone who's having a wonderful day.. here's why : The prices are over the roof!! Any plate you'll choose compared to reality is absolutely undeserved, also compared to any near similar cafes , absolutely unbelievable.. I'm not saying this for trying to hate or can't afford anything on the menu, but can't notice anything that can be appreciable other than the atmosphere , which is obviously normal, otherwise it will be a bad experience for the majority , especially new clients who are looking for a cafe to visit over and over again.. which I'm not one of them unfortunately.. Dear café vintage, well done on creating a bad reputation. Thank you .
Abdulrahman H — Google review
It’s disappointing to leave a poor rating, but service in hospitality should feel welcoming—not like an effort. From the moment we asked if breakfast was available, we were met with a nonchalant gesture to “come in,” without any clear response. I echo many of the reviews here: the service is noticeably lacking. If you're going to use English signage to attract tourists, it's only fair to have staff who can communicate in English. Otherwise, it feels uninviting to international guests. As for the food, it was basic. I ordered a veggie omelette, toast, tea for my friend, and coffee for myself. The coffee was the highlight. Unfortunately, the overall experience—especially on day one of my first visit to Morocco—left me with little desire to return.

Below on the photo is a Ramadan breakfast that cost 129 Moroccan DH, it supposed to come with special of the day which was lemon chicken, the waiter said they have only shrimp pil pil wich was cooked in oil and hard, and ordered kufta Tajin it was ok. But was extra 70 DH per a dish, so for 200 DH per person compared to what we got it was way over priced. Not recommended for ramadan breakfast,

Asalamualaykum. Nice breakfast and food cafe open late in Tanger. I am staying above in an air bnb apartment with family and it is also a great location. Nice place to sit, drink coffee, shaded terraces as well during the day due to the beautiful sun out here. So impressed with this place and a lot in Tanger.

Great view over Chefchaouen, warm welcome and good service. Perfect spot for a peaceful breakfast with mint tea and local treats.

The view was wonderful, but unfortunately, the food was very disappointing. The chicken tajine was served cold, and the meat tajine had almost no meat, just bones. For the high price, I expected much better quality. It's a shame the food didn't match the beautiful scenery.

Quiet when I came in around 5pm. Started picking up around 6pm. The staff were lovely, gave recommendations and were attentive. The food/drinks were great and came out pretty quickly. I got the chicken burger which did the trick, not the best I’ve had but still good, and also cheap at 35MAD! The banana smoothie and English tea were also great ☺️ oh the view is amazing!!

Nestled in the heart of the city, Coffee El Medina offers a delightful experience that defies some negative reviews. I visited in the afternoon and was pleasantly surprised when they served me a mouthwatering tajine, even though it wasn't lunchtime. While the prices are slightly higher than other local spots—around 130 MAD for two teas and a tajine—it remains reasonable for what you get.
I read some bad reviews, but I actually had a good experience here. We came in the afternoon and we asked if they had anything to eat. Although it wasn’t really lunchtime they served us a delicious tajine. It was a little on the pricier side compared to other places we’ve been (130 MAD voor 2 tea and tajine) but also not shockingly expensive to me. I also thought the people were nice.
T M — Google review
It’s the most central café in the Medina and it has a somewhat pleasant terrace, but that’s all. It’s too expensive and the owners always say they have no exchange, so they can keep it to themselves. I was paying with a 200Dh bill, so I demanded the exchange. They went and gave me a mix of Dirham and Euros, and I noticed that they were giving me 3 Euros less than what they should have. I didn’t have the time to spend arguing, so I left. The coffee was miserable and the mint tea was ok.
Daniel C — Google review
Rip-off prices and poor taste. We were charged 70 dhs for 2 mojitos and 1 verbena tea. The "mojitos" were actually pinã colada syrup with ice water and two mint leaves. Unpleasant service
Rihab A — Google review
Most expensive tea in Asilah, 20 DH per glass. The view is nice though. Would not come back
Veronika G — Google review
Edit: changed from five stars to three because immediately after the review they tried to charge me 20 instead of 15 local currency for an orange juice, because I sat down. I did not pay it, but I did ask around. It is a typical thing in Morocco to be charged more. It's just a scam, which if you've traveled even a single day here you already know. In this particular place they only do this to foreigners. The policy is not written anywhere. And guess what, this is STILL their best review. Just a nice place to drink a tea or get an orange juice. Worth a few extra pennies to drink with a view of the square. Waiter has the best costume
Jeff W — Google review
My worst experience in asilah, the staff was rude especially the tunisian guy he wasn’t respectful at all when I asked why a small bottle of water costs 10 dh, otherwise the quality of coffee wasn’t good enough.

Dynastie Tanger is a charming tea shop reminiscent of a Spanish-style cake shop, located right on the beachfront in Tangiers. The stunning vintage decor with chandeliers and pastel green deco offers a fantastic view of the ocean overlooking the beach. The staff is known for their warm welcome and friendliness, while the cakes such as strawberry cheesecake and almond chocolate are highly recommended. It's an ideal place to celebrate special occasions with family, friends, or couples.
Excellent spot for breakfast or lunch. The restaurant has a really nice interior, the staff are friendly and the views are beautiful! (Beach/sea views) We went for breakfast, the food was delicious. It was 96 MAD for everything.

DO NOT GO HERE !!! Save yourself I’ve never left a bad review on any business b but this one really got to me, so it’s only right to share my review Took my family member there for the first time and honestly its was awful , ,dreadful I can’t even describe how foul the service was 2. frustrating !!!! 3. Food = nasty absolutely disgusting the pizza I ordered had no tomato sauce base which is impossible ! It was plain bread and cheese something I was so annoyed about as I was with a family member and felt completely helpless and embarrassed next to them as I had to send it back to the horrible waiter that served me . The waiter then brought back the pizza with a smudge of tomato paste on top of the cheese 😐 when I asked for a 4cheese pizza it had only 1 type of cheese and no sauce ridiculous amount the price of a lobster and stake in a fancy restaurant it’s was not about the price to me anyway but what I did expect was the food to match the f***** price It’s and absolute NO from me I’m very very very disappointed by this experience and don’t wish what I went through on my worst enemy that’s how powerful it hit me emotionally scared from this place:(

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. First, the atmosphere was unbearable – it was extremely noisy, making it impossible to enjoy the meal or have a conversation. Speaking of the meal, the food quality was terrible. It tasted like no effort was put into preparing it, and it was far from fresh. Definitely not worth the price I paid. What made things worse was the lack of respect for customers. From the moment I arrived, the guard outside greeted me with a scowl and angry eyes, as if he was saying, "Don't come here again." There was no smile, no welcoming attitude – just pure rudeness. Inside, the service wasn't any better. The staff didn’t seem to care about making the customers feel valued or comfortable. This kind of attitude is unacceptable in a place that claims to serve the public. I don’t recommend this place to anyone and certainly won’t be returning.
Houssayne B — Google review
I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at this restaurant was so bad, I feel obligated to warn others. Service: From the moment I arrived, I felt unwelcome. The guard at the entrance didn’t greet me or even smile. Instead, he gave me a cold, angry look, making me feel like I wasn’t supposed to be there. It was an awful first impression. Atmosphere: Inside, it was chaotic and extremely noisy. There was no sense of comfort or relaxation – just a lot of stress from the overwhelming noise. Food: The meal was a disaster. The quality was subpar, and it tasted like it had been sitting out for a long time. For the price I paid, I expected much better. Overall, this place fails in every important aspect: service, atmosphere, and food quality. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Avoid it if you want to save your time, money, and peace of mind.
Titi K — Google review
Except the service and interior, i can't find any other reason to come back to this restaurant. The food was so fade and bland with no taste whatsoever. The salad came with no sauce (they brought it after we asked but it was bland too), the surimi in the salad was surely expired as its texture felt weird + The only thing that saved my pizza was the Tabasco. Its also too expensive for what they actually give you, mediocre quality. I still want to give some stars to the people working hard there...the staff was nice, welcoming and smiling. Maybe it could be nice for a coffee but not for food.

Really really nice tea shop very similar to a Spanish style cake shop with coffee and teas right on the beachfront in Tangiers. Fantastic view of the ocean overlooking the beach. The decor is absolutely stunning vintage old style, chandeliers and pastel green deco. The staff are very welcoming and very friendly cakes are absolutely to die for. I tried the strawberry cheesecake and the almond and chocolate cake. Also the tea mint tea is absolutely fabulous and they have a decaf coffee which is very strange from Morocco. I haven’t been able to find one for weeks . absolutely Fiv blessed for an afternoon tea in Dynastie Paris.

Madison Coffee is a charming café nestled near the seafront of Tangier, offering a delightful array of food and desserts, such as Moroccan pastries, freshly pressed juice, and refreshing mint tea. It's renowned for its delectable breakfast options that are perfect for chilly mornings. Situated close to the City Centre shopping mall, Madison boasts a spacious and serene ambiance with ample facilities. It's an ideal spot to savor a quiet morning meal before embarking on urban adventures.
Had the maddison breakfast. It was excellent, the best tasting omelette I have had on this trip. I asked for the bread to be changed for slices of baguette, no problem, asked for salt and pepper to be added to omelette mixture, before cooking, no problem. Now that is what you call hood customer service. Only one waiter, though, and the poor guy is rushed off his feet, still provides an excellent service, with a smile on his face. Definitely reccomend and I will return.

Omeza Coffee Gallery is a popular spot for coffee enthusiasts in Tanger, offering a variety of specialty coffees and freshly ground beans. The cozy interior provides a welcoming atmosphere to enjoy quality coffee and pastries while engaging in casual conversations. However, the limited space may lead to crowded and noisy conditions, making it less suitable for focused work or study sessions. Despite this, the friendly staff are knowledgeable about the menu and provide excellent recommendations.
Absolutely love this coffee spot! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm, inviting atmosphere and the delightful aroma of freshly brewed coffee. Their expertly crafted drinks are consistently delicious, whether it's a rich espresso or a V60 drip brew. They also have some really good food options as well! The staff is friendly, attentive, and always eager to recommend new flavors or brewing techniques. It’s the perfect place to relax, catch up with friends, or get some productive work done while enjoying exceptional coffee.

We had coffee and cakes here, and everything was absolutely delicious! The San Sebastián cheesecake was especially amazing — I’ve tried it in other places around Tangier, but none came close to this one. It tasted almost like the one I had in Istanbul! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They even gave us great recommendations on which coffee beans to buy. A big plus is that they offer decaf coffee and lactose-free milk — something I haven’t found anywhere else in Tangier so far. They also make a wide variety of coffee types, which makes this spot a true gem for coffee lovers. Huge thanks to the entire team — I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to enjoy a great coffee break with delicious cakes!

I tried this cafe-restaurant for the first time and I love their emince poulet and iced macchiato..it was splendid ! Emince poulet was so good, rice cooked well-done plus tender poulet and I was really surprised with veges, taste clean and not oily at all, they did a great job 👍 Their iced macchiato is superb but not a good match with emince poulet because both have heavy taste yet I ordered it because I craved for it and I found iced coffee hardly to be seen in Tetouan 😥 I think mojito is probably a better choice to pair with this menu 😉

Imad E — Google review
I went to this place with a friend— we arrived separately to work, sat at different tables, and each ordered separately. We each had a laptop and used a shared multi-port cable to charge — nothing excessive or disruptive. First, the outlet we were using mysteriously stopped working — even though it was working perfectly when we arrived. We changed tables, and that’s when one of the staff members (possibly the manager) approached us with an attitude, asking, “Do you really need two tables?” I explained: yes, we came separately. He brushed it off and vaguely said, “That port takes too much power,” but never mentioned it was against any rule. Then another woman showed up and suddenly said the multi-port cable was against the rules. No sign was shown, no warning beforehand — just straight-up hostility. What followed was straight disrespect. The man told us, “This isn’t a house,” “This is vulgar,” and “You have no manners.” He spoke down to us like we were children, saying, “talk to me when you on my lever our mentalities are on different levels .” I’ve been to this place multiple times. I’ve charged my laptop before. I’ve paid for my orders like anyone else. Today was the first time I felt completely harassed and disrespected by a business I was supporting. After checking other reviews, it turns out this is a pattern — people have had power cut off from their outlets, Wi-Fi denied, and been treated like nuisances instead of customers. If your business can’t handle laptops in a café space, say it upfront. Don’t use intimidation, gaslighting, and passive-aggressive behavior to push people out. I won’t be returning, and I don’t recommend this place to anyone who values respect, professionalism, or basic customer service.

I wanted to enjoy my morning coffee and charge my phone, but they turned off the electricity. When I asked them to turn it back on, they claimed they didn't know what happened. I honestly don't find the prices matching the quality, and I think they should fix that because other places with WAY BETTER VIEWS, are managing a better Menu so people sit and enjoy the coffee. I do like the view, La Veranda is one of the places I used to go at a lot, with friends, family.. but why would I go somewhere to enjoy the view and dislike the drinks and food and pay and leave unsatisfied? I only did this time because my mother thought the place is still the same, but she disliked it after the last visit. I'd suggest they change their menus, get someone who's good at making coffee for God's sake, and reduce those prices. The only positive thing left there is the view that's not even an effort from them, so..

Situated on the top floor, this establishment offers breathtaking views of the Old Medina houses' rooftops, as well as distant glimpses of both the mountains and sea. The decor is simple yet traditional, adorned with elegant Moroccan touches that create a cozy atmosphere.
The food was delicious. I felt like home. It was clean and fresh . I will 100% recommend it and come again . The view is amazing. Thank you for the best hospitality

I am from Tetouan. But I only discovered this place recently. I was having a walk and decided why not have a coffee there and see. The place is top floor so it has an amazing views over the rooftops of Old Medina houses and you can see far away the mountains and sea too, so it's really special. The furniture is simple and traditional with a beautiful Moroccan touch, it feels super comfortable. They make Ibrik Turkish traditional kind of coffee which was a good experience as well. Over all, it was a super nice visit.

This is NOT the one you’re looking for. You must search for “Casa medina sanaa maison d'hôtes Restaurant terrasse couscous” on maps, it’ll lead you to the correct location. I don’t why it hasn’t been changed yet.

Owner was nice as well as the staff, the room was okay though the smell of dust and humidity was terrible, the bed wasn't comfy and the shower was very small. We had breakfast in the terrace and it was nice
