Our second time here and we were not disappointed. We were brought here by a friend back in 2020 pre-COVID when we were visiting Morocco and we fell in love with the place. We came back again yesterday and it is still as good!! This place is getting better and better. The atmosphere, the service, the food 🤤everything was impeccable. They have an open kitchen concept which shows how clean the place is. Thank you to team El Tangerino for making our night enjoyable!!!!

Love this place. Best view of Tangiers harbour and the food is just delicious: the Paella is awesome but you need to be two to finish it. I usually get the Bocarones and a fish or meat plate. The service, the service is just outstanding for the normal. From the greeting in the front - Yasmine is always there and she remembers my favourite table upstairs Kudos-. Upstairs, Khadija, Amine and the whole crew are making sure you spend a great evening. Ayoub the Manager I think he lives here: endless attentions to customers needs. Best spot to eat and enjoy the view.

Nice place especially upstairs, the food was tasty we ordered the seafood salad it was good but don’t expect to be full it’s a small salad, the tuna avocado appetizer was fresh and tasty also the fried calamari was really good, the only thing that disappointed me was the price of the drinks, a soda and water were 50 DH each Pretty pricey for Morocco, we don’t even pay that much for a soda in the state! Our waiter was very friendly!

It was a very Trendy bar restaurant. Looks very classic and elegant. The staffs are multi langual and very polite. Service could do with a bit of improvement. Food quality is average. Price is very high for this quality of food. Atmosphere is nice but misjudged. Men's toilet is nicely decorated but water discharge is not functioning. Even though the food was served there was no salt and pepper and hand tissues. Please experience it for yourself and update me on these issues.

Club would be great if it was cheaper and fuller. We were there on a friday night, paid 300 MAD (30€) to enter and the club was empty. There were probably 30 people max, the dancefloor was basically non existent and when you wanted to sit anywhere besides the bar, you had to buy a bottle. This would be completely fine under normal circumstances but the club was empty, there were literally like 50 tables and like 5-10 max had people sitting at them. Definitely can’t recommend sadly.

We were a couple who wanted a night out in Tanger, but by seeing all these negative comments we almost didn't go out. It is not as bad as people portray it to be ! For sure 300 DH entry fee for only one drink (which can't be whatever you want, but alcohol with a soda) is a rip-off, but inside it gets very fun. The music is great, on Friday night, it started with some afrobeats and then turned more into commercial before focusing more on arab hits, which is a great build-up ! You have to bear in mind that before 2 am, there is max 1 person on the dancefloor, which is quite sad, so you should definitely arrive late, to avoid leaving before the party starts. The dancers come on stage at 2 am as well, and there's a cool mascarade kind of show at 3 am. Surprisingly there were more women than men, and some of them can make you feel a bit uncomfortable, but if you mind your own business it is a great place to party !

Some girls there don't pay and they give them free tables but if you are a foreigner or live abroad they make you pay!! They charged me 30 euros and when I entered the place was completely empty!! Also the waiter doubled the bill he thought I wouldn't notice! But I found out and he apologized afterward

Australian young couple- Made payment for 2x tickets at the door. They charged one payment of 600 MAD and stated that it did not go through on the card machine. Payment approved by bank after contacting, although bouncers at the door did not accept this. Genuine explanation given with a poor response. Clearly showed a number of bouncer staff bank statement and translated to accommodate language barrier. 1x bouncer agreed although was out numbered by 3x others. Bank contacted for scam and bank refunded money. Paid in cash for another 2x tickets afterwards for entry. For 2x people 4 tickets were payed for (1200MAD) No alcohol drinking in big main seating, only drink at small bar with no seats. Luckily bank has approved this to be a scam and refunded money, although for anyone heading here I would not advise. Or pay with cash. Would not recommend if your trying to enjoy your time and not wishing to be scammed double payments for entry.

It was dead when I went (one group of three foreigners) and I got no vibes that the place was full of literary ghosts. But I'll admit the DJ was playing some great electronic music and I was Shazaming it all. And the beer was cold and served fast. Just wish the place was busier..

El Morocco club is an upscale venue in Tangier, easily located. You can either have a drink under the trees, on the main façade of the establishment, or book a table in the restaurant for lunch or dinner, or book a place at the piano bar. There are, therefore, three ways to appreciate this place. It has a menu of excellent alcoholic beverages, from wines, cocktails, beers and a selected dishes. The presentation of the dishes is beautiful, and they are very well served. I drank a glass of white wine and ordered a saffron risotto with prawns. My God, it was the best risotto I've eaten in my life! The staff are very kind, and at the end I was awarded a spectacular chocolate truffle. I highly recommend this place, and I add that it is necessary to make a reservation. Success to you all ✨

Even though we were on October, and just at start (19:30), the restaurant was fully booked. I'd tried to make a reservation in the afternoon, both via telephone and site, to no avail. It was the single restaurant in Tanger that we had this difficulty. And soon we knew the reason: the restaurant is really excellent! Given the fact that there were no tables available, the maitre suggested going to bar (1 level below) and dine there. The bar is a really small area, with very small round tables, suitable perfectly for a drink and some appetisers. Using them to eat is really an exercise of dexterity. But the good news is that it is possible, with the extreme assistance of really well trained and gentle waiters. Also speaking fluent Spanish was really helpful, although I overheard them speaking also in English and French. Anyway, my recomendation is choosing whatever you like or just follow the waiter indications, since everything is delicious and extremely well prepared. Oysters, lamb, crab, pasta, .... Finally, make a reservation at least one day in advance, and then enjoy this wonderful place in the first floor main dining room...

I had a disappointing experience while visiting with my family. There was an empty table available, but the staff refused to let us sit there, claiming it was reserved—although no one showed up for over an hour. I asked if we could use the table for just 30 minutes, but they still refused, seemingly because we were not foreigners. We were a group of seven and would have ordered more than many of the foreign guests who were seated without issue. This kind of discrimination is unacceptable. I do not recommend this club.

They have a small, formal dining room upstairs, and a charming Moroccan style speak easy downstairs. Downstairs is where you want to try to eat/drink. Smoking is allowed downstairs but it’s well ventilated. Downstairs is what makes this place special, but seating is limited, so get here early and specify you want to eat dinner downstairs. My wife had the lamb dish which she loved as it was sweet, and well presented. The lamb is a shredded layer topped with rice and sweet potatoes. I ordered the center cut stake with fries. My order of medium rare came out rare, so you might be better off ordering it medium if you want The steak to be seared on the outside and cooked to a warm red center with a hint of pink. Where it still has some firmness but is still juicy and tender. If you are looking for unique and special, it’s the speak easy (1920’s style bar) downstairs, the fine dining quality and presentation, and for a fairly reasonable price. We spent $120 for two beautiful main course meals, 1 wonderful desert, 3 beers, and two cocktails. Again, just make sure you get down into the speakeasy for that special charm you are looking for.

Had an excellent dinner! Food was finely presented & service was 5 stars! It’s what I would expect at a fine dining restaurant! We started off with a couple of drinks at the bar which had the most awesome vibe to it. They do a really good Negroni! We had the tuna tartare & the burrata in Taktouka to start. Both had a nice hint of Moroccan to it. Our mains were the John Dory fish in creamy saffron risotto & Chicken Pastilla. Fish was cooked to perfection, loved the lemon foam on top. Children Pastilla was probably the one item not on top of our list. For desserts, we tried the lemon meringue pie & creme brûlée with saffron - both amazing tasting! Also really enjoyed the wines - tried the rosé and a bottle of Moroccan white. Thoroughly enjoyed our evening there! Would have loved it if the live band was playing, I’m sure!

Friendly staff. Most affordable beer I've found so far in Tangier, 60 MAD for 500ml of Lager. But it is quite warm (no ac) and people do smoke inside. So if you're not a smoker be warned.

The best bar in Morocco, hands down. In fact, one of the best bars anywhere. The place has tons of character and the owner pours drinks as he tells you about Tangier of old - and new. Puzzle over his brain teasers as you sip your drink and listen to some jazz music. A legend.

The owner is a rude narcissist. He stood at my table and ordered me to change my seat because I sat closer to my friend. Kept repeating it and being aggressive. He was very hostile. Very bad experience!! One of the worst experience i've ever had with a club. I live in Amsterdam and I've been all over the world but this club was absolutely the worst. Once we arrived in front of the club, at least 15 homeless people were bothering us and out girls and the staff would't bother to help us. They asked 100 derham to enter but in the end whe went inside the club for free. When we walked into the club hell really started.. We were kept inside by their "secureity" and forced to pay 580 derham for two Coco Cola's. The whole atmosfeer was really bad and it ruined our whole night. Please follew my advice and don't go to this club, there are way better clubs than this one.

I am so glad I found 'El Contacto '. I've been searching somewhere nice to dine in Medina unfortunately could find nothing to my likening. And luckily just a few steps away from Marina Bay Hotel this nice place immersed in front of my eyes :) I had tuna( medium rare)with sesame seeds, brocolli, on a 🍍 & I loved it. My waiter was 100 % ! Really good bar selling Cassablanca on draught and some nice food and entertainment on Saturday. Went here tonight, 8 large beers, a plentiful house salad (tuna, tomatoes, sweetcorn, carrot, cucumber, onion, olives, lettuce) shell on prawns and clams for around £60. The staff were really friendly and there was entertainment in the form of a great chap singing and accompanying on electric guitar a backing track followed by a good female vocalist. There was football on screens but the crowd was very mixed and relaxed. Would have felt comfortable here alone or with friends. A really lovely evening with a nice atmoaphere and super food.

We ordered cocktails, 150 MAD each, and they tasted like a frat house made them. A 1 L bottle of water was 70 MAD. The margherita pizza was actually made from a frozen cheese pizza with no basil. The assorted Lebanese dips was served with tortillas which the host insisted was “Lebanese bread”. I’m fine eating subpar food, but you’d expect something better from the Hilton bar.

This is a new and modern Bistro. Drinks are very reasonably priced, and the service was outstanding 👏 👌 and they just kept bringing us rounds of complimentary snacks.... amazing 👏 it's also great for watching the sports on the many well placed screens.

Small, relaxed little bar in a hotel that offers basic drinks and good food with attentive, helpful service. What this bar lacks in alcohol variety, it makes up for in atmosphere. Make no mistake: if you want a beer, wine, or a simple mixed drink like a G&T or Aperol Spritz, you can get that here. It being Morocco, you won't find a fully stacked back bar and the prices are pretty steep for hard liquor (for obvious reasons) and that's okay. I was actually really impressed by the food here. The clams were simply amazing! So sweet and tasty. The fried calamari was some of the best I've ever had with delicious seasoning. The pizza was okay as well, but not as good as the seafood dishes. The inside is nice enough, but the outside is a gem. A tiny upper level patio that overlooks the rest of the hotel including the bustling pool and live DJ on weekends, and beyond that, the harbour of Tanger. It's quiet but not too quiet, and everyone is very well-behaved and chill. We came back multiple times during our stay. The gentleman who served us was so helpful and funny, and the barman was also equally friendly.
