I have been a regular customer since 2018. Karma Kafe is my favorite cafe on the whole island. The staff is wonderful and the food is healthy and delicious. Huge plus for offering all *gluten-free and vegan menu. Extra points for the complimentary water offered as soon as you sit down.🧡 Edit: *Caution needed with some items that normally contain wheat and other gluten grains, such as soy sauce. The kitchen uses 2 types - one with wheat and one that is gluten free. Mix ups do happen. It would be safer and better if there was only gluten-free soy sauce in use. Gluten is not needed in it. My favorite dishes are breakfast burrito, pancakes, sushi, Slightly Spicy Burger, and Kalefornia bowl. Fresh black coffee is an every morning staple for me, often followed by iced matcha.💚 Try the butterfly pea lemonade too! The only critique I have is about the fish that is kept in the 'pool' at the side of the cafe. Please free them or at least arrange much more spacious and pleasant living conditions for them. Fish belong in freedom, their purpose and birth right is to live in the ocean. They shouldn't be kept in a small dark 'aquarium' with nowhere to go except circling around the same place day after day.🙏

Great cafe, very relaxing and calm energy, we ate here twice during our time on the island and had the best time sitting around the low table. Every meal we had was wholesome and delicious, and you must try the sweets! Shout out to the staff as well, we had a lovely chat with the guy at the front! Can’t wait to come back here 🫶🏻

Really amazing food and very chilled ambience. Everything we tried on the menu was exceptional good and very reasonable prices for the quality and food. It was so amazing, we came the day after again! Very delicious vegan food for breakfast/brunch. Good drinks (try the holy cow coffee for example) and deserts. Fair prices and friendly team. 100% recomendation ‐------------ 2 years later - still a great location for a great breakfast. It is always a pleasure to be here.

We visited this place recently. The food overall was not very impressive, but the Golden Lemonade was excellent, super refreshing and delicious. The kebab was also a good dish and worth ordering. However, we tried the falafel and the yuzu tofu, and unfortunately, they weren’t to our taste and had a rather unusual flavor.

The best place to eat in the Island. Food is high quality and good ingredients. All vegan of course, good meals for breakfast / lunch / dinner or for just a snack. I went there everyday during my vacation. The staff is amazing and the vibe in the restaurant is absolutely amazing.

This café quickly became my favorite spot after coming out of a detox. It offers a wide variety of vegetarian dishes that are beautifully presented and taste just like traditional meals. The café itself feels very cozy, conveniently located, with excellent service and even a small shop inside. It’s a perfect place to work on a laptop, catch up with friends, or simply enjoy some time alone. But the highlight for me was definitely the food and drinks—after my detox, they tasted incredibly fresh, nourishing, and delicious.

Hands down the best clean food ive ever had in my life. I came to visit Koh Phangan and loved it so much I ate here every single day for 4 days straight. If I had more time here, I would try everything on their menu. Absolutely incredible.

Wow - quite possibly the best vegan food I have ever tasted. I'm not even vegan, but would become one if I could have their food for the rest of my life! Had the kimchi fried rice, and it was SO DELICIOUS. Their matcha latte with coconut milk and syrup was also yummy. Vibes are earthy and nice, and they have a lot of spiritual/yoga/hippie trinkets for sale. Highly recommend.

Great food, fresh ingredients, and solid flavours. I had the creamy coconut soup with brown rice, rich, balanced, and filling without feeling heavy. The presentation is thoughtful, not overdone. The green juice and dragon fruit smoothie were both fresh and not overly sweet. Calm setting, friendly service, and consistent quality. One of the better plant-based spots on the island. Worth it.

Pure Vegan is by far one of the best places on the island for breakfast and lunch! The atmosphere is wonderful, surrounded by nature. Portions are nice and colorful, you will keep wanting to come for more.. very creative dishes, and service is quick!

Dining in the cool shade under the giant mango trees with the most kind attentive service is truly sublime, and the food - the lamb - is so tender it practically falls off the bone to bathe itself in the sweet tangy jus just daring you to restrain your fork and your mouth (good luck with that). But hey, if that's not the kind of dining experience you're into, there are plenty of corners with 3 (3!) 7-11's to choose from - enjoy!

Amazing place — highly recommended by an Israeli traveler! The food was incredible and full of flavor, the atmosphere was cozy and authentic, and we loved the choice between traditional floor seating and regular tables. We ordered hummus with pita, pickles, and bulgur salad — everything was delicious and high quality, especially for Thailand. As Israelis, we were so happy to find such a great spot! We wanted to come back again but sadly the restaurant was closed. Truly one of the best meals we’ve had here!

Tabbon is a great place to relax and unwind. The atmosphere is super chill and the food is just as enjoyable. All the dips are excellent, but I absolutely fell in love with the baba ghanoush – I could eat it forever. There are vegan and gluten-free options available, which makes it even better for all types of eaters. Honestly, even just a piece of fresh bread with a good dip is worth stopping by for. The food disappeared so quickly, I didn’t even manage to take any photos – always a good sign! Also perfect for party people: the restaurant is open until late, making it a great spot to grab something delicious after a night out. If you’re in the area, don’t miss it!

We went here for dinner. Service was ok, we waited a bit to be acknowledged by the staff. The food was good. We ordered the mixed grill and hummus with falafel. However for a large bowl of hummus they give you 1 pita which is the size of your hand. We asked for another one and the waiter took about 15 min to bring it to us and in the end charged us an extra 40 baht for it. Not great value for the money

This is definitely my favorite breakfast spot in Koh Phagnan. Super fresh food, great cacao and sweets. Their vegan cheeses are probably the best I’ve tried all over the world. Yaaam.

This is my favorite place on all of the island. It makes me feel like home. The chocolate treats and drinks, both hot and cold - feel like a hug. Whenever I go back to my home country, I always daydream about Deli Devi. About sitting in their sofa, with my favorite treats from the menu : and the way I always run into friendly faces when I am there. From the menu I really reccomend Cacao Macha Dalongua : the cacao drink seen in pictures. Also the avocado and beet sandwich is just hands down amazing. Mmmmm.

This is a really special place- fantastic food, great atmosphere, lovely staff, beautiful decor, spacious. They sell their own ice creams, honey, herb blends, it’s such a unique place, my husband and I visited here more than anywhere else on the island! Cannot recommend enough, and the banana pancakes are 10/10!!

We LOVED Nira’s. Went every single day during our 2 week stay for breakfast and looked forward to the next visit every time. The food is amazing but the staff was our favourite part, they were so welcoming and felt like family by the end of our trip. We will miss their smiling faces and iced caramel lattes more than anything! Much love from Canada.

Unfortunately, the food was a disaster. The service was okay, but when they noticed at the end that I hadn’t eaten anything, they didn’t even ask if everything was alright when removing the plate,it felt like they were used to this kind of feedback. The almond croissant wasn’t fresh…you could clearly tell it was old. The salmon quiche I had was frozen and tasteless… Overall, a very disappointing experience and I can’t recommend this place.

We ordered a sandwich, croissant, burger, and tea — and honestly, every single dish was delicious and had its own unique touch. The burger, in particular, stood out — the filling was different from the usual but surprisingly amazing. What made everything even better was the homemade bread — super fresh and soft, it really elevated the whole meal. The peaceful ambience makes you want to sit back and stay longer, and the staff were so kind and courteous — it felt like a little pocket of calm after a busy day. If you're in Koh Phangan, Nira Bakery & Cafe is definitely a must-visit. Great food, great people, fresh ingredients.

Best place in koh pangan for having a nice breakfast or brunch, I haven’t been here for lunch, so I haven’t tried the food they serve at that time. But coffee and breakfast it’s delicious and the price it’s more than reasonable, it’s much better than all the other places I have been, service it’s perfect, the workers there you can tell they are happy and very professional. So sad that I found this place almost at the end of my trip.

First off, it's amazing to see so many vegan options. We have been twice in 3 days; it was that good. We got the vegan sharing plate deal from 11 until 3, I think. Masala dosa, samosa chaat. And, in our opinion, this food was better than the food we ate in India itself. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We would 100% definitely be back again at some point. And great that the VAT tax and service fee is included and you can pay by card. No fee over 300bth

We had dinner here today and had a very tasty, authentic Indian meal. It was our last evening on Koh Phangan and we wanted to eat something amazing and we were not disappointed. We only stopped by in the morning for coffee and pastries. The place is very nice, and the food was really fun and tasty. It feels like the most “Western-style” spot on the island – not very Thai, more of a European vibe when it comes to the food. Everything we had was super delicious, though it is quite pricey for Thailand. (For 3 coffees and 2 pastries we paid 600 baht.) Still, definitely recommended – the food was really, really good!

I went to Indigo few times a week during 2-months stay. I really loved the place. It has incredible coziness about it. The pastries are delicious, as well as their coffees and matcha. The staff is very attentive and the delivery time is quite fast ✨ It is also always very clean. Totally worth visiting ❤️

This is my favorite restaurant. Great atmosphere, lovely staff. I ate here every day for the 3 days I was on the island. Jeff was very helpful and gave great recommendations. A very cozy spot, perfect for a short coffee break or to sit with your laptop and get some work done. The coffee here is among the best we had in Phangan, and the desserts are absolutely delicious. If you come after 9:00 PM, they offer a 40% discount on cakes and croissants — a great deal! The air-conditioning inside makes it even more inviting, especially on warm days. Highly recommended!

Coffee was relatively good and the Ferraro Rocher cake we got was exceptional. If you need a chocolate fix, look no further. This will not disappoint. Also came back and had a smoothie bowl for breakfast which was quite good.

Really good coffee shop in Koh phangan. I came here every day for 2 weeks since I’m working remotely - the internet is great, easy to charge your Mac and they are work friendly as long as you buy food and things. The coffee is a 10/10, I had a double shot ice latte. The tuna sandwich is great and the omelettes are also great - and it’s all affordable. If you ever want to treat yourself to a truly good coffee in Thailand — in a beautiful, special place filled with love and care — this is the spot. You can relax and take in the surroundings while enjoying the best carrot cake ever. I had such a great time here. A delicious lunch with avocado and poached egg, followed by coffee and that amazing carrot cake. Definitely a place to add to your to-do list!

I just fell in love with it. who talked about prices - I don't understand what they are talking about, the prices here are much lower than in other cafes. A Must-Visit: Koh Phangan’s Saturday Night Market The Saturday Night Market in Koh Phangan is an absolute blast! I stopped by Sprout’s stand and found so many amazing local products run by a lovely mom-and-daughter duo. From delicious street food to handmade crafts and live music, it’s the perfect spot to experience the island’s charm. Don’t miss it!

Do try to walk and ask for a price,I found one hair clip for 50,30 and 25 baht . Sadly already purchased the expensive one so can't return back. Even the candle got 100 baht and 90 baht so if you are not so rich you can try foraging for the price difference l. I Bought Thai and holy basil,sawtooth coriander, some herb looking like dhill but not dhill and fennel for 10 baht,sapodilla for 50 baht or 80,avocado depends on weight but mine is 35 baht,100 baht for pomelo. Potato Thailand is 50 baht I believe.To kha herbs for 20/10 baht. Really it's a very interesting market,try to do some research if you want to try durian but end up looking at jackfruit.i met a tourist who wants durian but keep on pointing at the jackfruit,I don't know how much I have to insist that durian is durian, jackfruit is jackfruit 😅. Not sure if English is not her secondary language. Overall a market I don't want to leave because it is a very market. Can get a lot of food and souvenirs here.

We visited the Saturday Night Market in Koh Phangan with high expectations, but overall, the experience was a bit underwhelming. While there is a wide variety of street food and some local crafts, we found that prices were not particularly cheap — definitely more tourist-oriented than local. One downside is that there are hardly any places to sit and enjoy your food, which made the experience a bit rushed and uncomfortable. It gets quite crowded, and without seating, it’s difficult to relax or enjoy a proper meal. That said, the atmosphere is lively, and it can still be worth a visit if you’re looking to explore local flavors or do a bit of casual shopping. Just don’t expect it to be a hidden gem or a budget-friendly street food paradise.

This was the best night market we've been to in Thailand. Yes, it is very crowded in some areas, but that's because it is a once a week market with a great selection of food and other stuff. There was sushi, dumplings, all kinds of thai food, ice cream, spare ribs (super tasty!) and cookies. And most of it was very reasonably priced. To escape the crowd, you can walk 10 meters and eat sitting on the beach. I cannot comprehend how people say in other reviews that the selection of food wasn't good here.

What a treat! I think I had the best cappuccino I’ve ever tasted here. And the sandwiches and croissants are baked to perfection. I honestly think this was the best cream-filled croissant I’ve ever had in my life , even better than back home in the Netherlands. So, a big recommendation!

This little gem is a must when you come here. Best, biggest coffee on the island and even though I didn’t eat many pastries I had several cream cheese, ham and cheese salad bagels which were epic. This was my go to place every morning to work, but closed Sat and Sun which was emotional as had to find somewhere else. Thanks to the owner and his staff who were always happy and accommodating. 🌾 The Best Bread in All of Thailand – and I'm from Bavaria! I'm a German woman, born and raised in Upper Bavaria – and I know exactly how real, good bread is supposed to taste. But what I just experienced here goes beyond anything I've ever had. This bread is legendary! Packed with seeds, perfectly crusty on the outside, soft and moist on the inside – it’s simply the ideal consistency. I just topped it with homemade peanut butter and roasted eggplant spread, and all I could think was: I have to share this with the world. Honestly, every German baker I’ve ever met would have to step aside – this bread is a masterpiece. A must-have, no question. It’s healthy, flavorful, deeply satisfying, and clearly made with love. And don’t even get me started on the other baked goods – everything in this bakery is a total delight. I almost don’t want to tell anyone about it… because I’m afraid I won’t be able to get any more if the secret gets out 😄 Five stars aren’t enough – this is artisan baking at its finest. Genuine German breads and more at top quality. Nice owner aswell. Highly recommended. We are regularly buying the rye-mix bread for our restaurant here. Our customers love it.

Price for a half bread, 1 croissant and 1 small cheese cake for 520 baht is way too much. I’m not sure whether we were overcharged or if these prices are actually serious. Please add price tags to each product so it’s clear.

I had the stir fry cashew tofu which came with lots of vegetables. It was an enormous plate, I had to bring some home in my Tupperware. I loved my dish. I’d come back and get it again! We also had coconut and mango ice cream which was outrageously yummy!

We were lucky and were able to visit this market right after arriving on the island. We had a lot of fun right after the first day and decided to visit the art market the next day. There were many interesting things at the market, including clothes, products, jewelry, food etc. We stayed until the very end both days and enjoyed the vibe and great music. You must visit this place when you are on Koh Phangan.

Lasts for two days and occurs once a month. Don't miss if you like art. Local artists on the island sell their stuff. You can find cool souvenirs from Koh Phanghan and support the artists work. The second day may be more empty of stock, so It may be preferred to arrive on the first day of the market.

Beautiful little Art Market every first Sunday of the month. Lots of creative international Art Work for sale. Also live music and DJ. Several food options as well. Parking on the main road. Opening hours all day. Make sure not to block the entrance.

I think it's an amazing market and would love to go back and would hope for if to start up again in the future. When i was there there wasn't much to see but if you consider yourself a scout you're bound to have a good time with some deserted finds.

The owner is kind, taste of the pizza is great but the value of what you are buying is completely absent. They only sell by the slice but you can buy the full pizza. It’s bring the pizza to 480 THB and unfortunately it’s extremely small. Overall I wouldn’t recommend you to come eat here if they don’t change the portion size.

Came here for a pizza slice and frozen yogurt with my 3 year-old, a picky eater. I had a few bites and the pizza slice was LEGIT - really good crunch to the crust and the tomato sauce was nicely seasoned. They heated it to a proper level that the cheese was fully melted, not just 30 seconds in the oven like some places. Frozen yogurt was nice, lots of toppings to choose from. All in, pizza, yogurt and bottle of water was 210 baht, quite decent for some solid, kid-friendly food.

So I ordered 4 pieces and cashier asked for 480thb - why? I know, there was a full moon session, but be serious to your customers next time please. Pizza piece was poor, just small amount of ingredients. I paid 480thb and had to visit another restaurant for a normal meal

The service was quick and the pizza was delicious. The only thing was there was no place to sit, however it was very packed.

They have vegan + gluten free + sugar free cakes, what is amazing. The owner is a Russian lady. The cakes tasted ok. We didn't like the cappuccini... Nevertheless you should check it out for the cakes.

Best homemade Italian ice cream on the island. Creating new flavors monthly, despite their variety is wide and delicious. The service is amazing and have aircon to freshen up and chill out while enjoying their delicacies for a very reasonable price. A must to visit.

Honestly an amazing ice cream shop. Well you can’t really call it a shop. There’s a lot of chill places to sit. The ice cream is phenomenal, the pancakes are also and the staff is super sweet. Everything tastes like it is really homemade and made with a lot of love. Perfect!

Tried the tiramisu and strawberry-passion fruit ice cream — both were absolutely delicious! The tiramisu was rich, creamy, and had a lovely coffee-cocoa balance, while the strawberry-passion fruit was fresh, fruity, and not overly sweet. The shop has a cozy atmosphere and friendly staff, making it a perfect spot for a sweet treat.

The staff are very friendly and they let you try their icecream. My all time favourite icecream is the passionfruit gelato, everytime. The staff as soon as I walk in know this is the icecream I want 😊💛 khob khun kha 🙏 😊 😋

This is one of the best ice cream shops in Thailand, at least to me. The ice-cream is homemade and they regularly have new flavors, they have a huge variety of choices and they are all delicious. They serve some really good coffee and pancakes as well. Also the staff is just so nice, helpful and lovely. if you're here with kids you should definitely check it out, or if you're an ice cream lover ;)

Great Yougurt place, the owner is very nice and its the highest quality coffee in Haadrin. Also air conditioned so you can escape the rush of the fullmoon and relax for a couple of moments.

Kilo is an absolute gem! After a hot day at the beach, I grabbed the creamiest frozen yogurt ever. loaded with homemade toppings like fresh mango, coconut flakes, and crunchy granola that’s bursting with flavor. The vegan coconut ice cream? Honestly better than any “regular” ice cream, so refreshing and made with local coconuts. The vibe with the ocean view and chill atmosphere is perfect for unwinding or hanging out with friends. Thanks for this little island paradise. I’ll definitely be back!

If I want to celebrate or need to be cheered up, frozen yogurt is always there for me. I've had more frozen yogurt at this gem of a place than I can count. There is always a new flavor, a new combination of toppings, or some other new delicacy to try out. To top it up, the place is beautifully decorated and offers a sunset view. Since I'm from Europe, I didn't know that a FroYo Shop is a necessity. When I ended up on the Kilo Wall of Fame for regulars, I noticed all Yo should be Fro! Always. What I like about Kilo is that you can eat FroYo every day without ever feeling that you've had this before. You can go all the way from vegan mango, coconut, almond milk yogurt with fruits and granola on top to salted caramel FroYo with white chocolate, brownies and gummi bear topping. Bam. Besides FroYo you have delicious Coffee, Lemonade, Cookies, Cakes, a sunset seaview and chill atmosphere + the owner is deeply involved with Trash Hero, so don't worry about getting your drink with a plastic straw you never wanted. Obviously love it here. Enjoy!

Great flavors, friendly staff, and respectful service. When you come here, you’ll also meet three four-legged friends though you’ll only get close to two of them. And that’s part of the charm. This here was the best frozen yogurt i have ever eaten!! It is a must stop for everyone going by, their coconut icecream is also unreal. Loved it!
