Lies in the pub street area, Gelato Lab is in a pretty small and quiet alley but the shop is filled with customers. The cashier was very nice and helpful. This place can get busy and run out of tables, but the area is walkable so I don’t mind walking and enjoying a cup of gelato. I tried tiramisu and yogurt (both in small cups) for in total of 3$. Both of them are so good, it might look like pretty small cup but I think its the perfect size to try different flavors. The yogurt smells very nice but melts quickly so I have to finish it before the tiramisu, I prefer it less sweet a little. The tiramisu is dense and taste exactly like the name, they even have the chiffon cake layer. Overall its a 10/10 for me.

I grew up eating the Italian ice cream made by my grandpa in his cafe. As an expert, I rate the ice cream they sell very highly. The chocolate flavor is particularly rich. Recommend

Definitely a hidden gem in SR Absolutely loved this place! The gelato was unbelievably good,rich, creamy and full of flavor. Prices are super reasonable too, which makes it even better. The yogurt flavor was the standout for me so fresh, perfectly balanced, you can tell they use fresh ingredients. Definitely one of the best gelato spots in SR. Highly recommend stopping by! 🍦😋

Hands down best gelato experience in siem reap. We went initially because a friend recommendation, and after trying the first bite, we could not stop going back! Rum & raisin was a favorite, along with dragonfruit, coconut & mango. You can’t really go wrong with any of the flavors, do yourself a favor and go try gelato lab 🫶🏼 🤤

Amazing gelato at the Gelato lab. Tried a combo of flavours mint and lime, which tasted just like a mojito in gelato form. Also, the salted caramel. Both were excellent. Clean premises with seating inside and out to enjoy your treat

After an exhausting day of taking the sights in, I wanted to sit at a cute cafe, with a coffee to unwind. This place apparently does a lot for their community such as donating 1% back to a charity that clears land mines. Sadly, land mine related deaths still occur monthly. The cafe was cosy, modern, clean and bright. The staff are super friendly, speak English really well, & there are 2 floors. There's an art gallery upstairs where you can purchase prints, lounge in the comfortable chairs and there are several fans to cool the floor. ☕ The iced coffee I had was of a great standard, came with a little biscuit, & was forthy at the top. Round the corner from the old market, so if you ever need to rally before or after the complexities, & abundance at the market. This is a great place to do it. 😆

Extremely friendly staff who speak English very well. Friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Great coffee. Teeny weeny but disappointed with fried chicken rice because I was hoping for a piece of chicken drumstick or sth like that but the taste makes up for it. Love that they are supporting Apopo (the landmine sniffing rats) and love the bamboo straw, I had to have one

Amazing food here. Excellent service. I really enjoy the breakfast. I like to order Al a carte because of my dietary restrictions. But in the past I've really enjoyed their big homemade cashew cookies. Their espresso is extremely good. It's right next to the river. When I'm craving a really good Western style breakfast this place hits the spot.

Could this place be any better? Probably not! Coffee was amazing. Breakfast was delicious. Service was friendly and efficient. All profits to land mine clearance. Please go and support this incredible cafe. 💕🙏

Excellent lunch! Heard about this place from Apopo and decided to go. I eat mostly vegetarian and this place had many vegan options but also other types of food. It was lovely and the wonderful wait staff speak English very well, too.

Lovely cafe along the rivers edge- open & airy & very inviting. The coffee is delicious as is the food. Service is exceptional. The fact the money goes to the Hero Rats is just an added bonus. Highly recommended

The coffee is great. Bagel is cold and seen better days. The melted cheese was hard like rock. Inform the server (not complaint, just let her know so that next customer dont suffer) and she was very kind to offer eggs or any other things to replace. We told her its ok, we are full but she still send a huge cookie and kept apologising. Very nice lady

Lovely cafe! Went for a quick morning coffee and a light breakfast before starting out the day. We arrived right after 7am - the service was spectacular with warm, attentive and friendly staff; the coffee was excellent having tried the Coconut Cinnamon Mocha, and the vegetarian omelet was delicious! (Definitely try the in-house hot sauce too!) There's some fantastic greenery if you opt for the second floor balcony spot, and a display of dragonflys that dance atop what I believe was a nearby Shikuwasa tree which was fantastic to watch! Couldn't ask for a better way to start a day! Definitely worth a visit!

From the outside this looks just like any other coffee shop, it's not. There is amazing attention to detail, the owners have put a lot of time and energy into training the staff and perfecting their coffee, drinks and food. I was having a conversation with one of the staff members and for a moment forgot I was in Cambodia. No, I'm not trying to disrespect Cambodia I'm just saying in 10 years I've not encountered customer service like this. I love the ambience, the fact that you have multiple areas you could sit and more menu choices than you can imagine. Yes, it is a coffee shop but it's special. P.s. that brownie.... Wow!!! Came expecting a specialty coffee shop but they don't really have a variety of beans for you to choose from. Nevertheless it is a cute coffee shop with interesting drinks and nice food. They also have the cutest spoons here

The best cafe in Cambodia, by far, the best rice bowl I have ever had, incredible coffees & perfect smoothies. The staff were all so so lovely🥹 they play Khmer music too which adds to the vibes, I would seriously recommend🙏🏼

Red Fox is a lovely spot that caters to tourists, which is pricey and is reflected in their menu prices. I treated myself to a large iced cappuccino for $3.25, and while it was nice, I think it could have been even better with just a little less ice. I also had the Masala Omelette for $4.00, which was tasty, though it was a tad dry. On the bright side, the staff was wonderful and added to the pleasant experience.

Highly recommend!! Great hidden gem in siem reap! Super delicious food with excellent service! Everyone in the cafe is so friendly and work very efficiently! Ordered a peanut butter pancake and the portion is very generous for the price. Lots of healthy options for drinks too aside from coffee! Do go up to the hidden 2nd floor too to check out the amazing view and nice selections of photography .

Nice selection of cupcakes. Beautiful decor. Cupcakes taste dense and moist. For people who loves this sort of cupcakes. Beautiful fondant toppers for each cupcake. Good choice during hot and humid weather in Cambodia.

Bloom's is fantastic and I love their cupcakes and cake pops. I've been twice now on my trip. My favourites have been the peanut butter and chocolate chip cupcake and the peanut butter cake pop. The scented cold towel they give you is perfect after walking in the heat. Wonderful that they help young Cambodian women. Probably be back again before I leave!

Amazing cupcakes at Bloom! This is the place to come for delectable desserts, superb service, and an awesome atmosphere. Bloom is a fair-trade, high quality cafe and training centre, and is absolutely the place to visit while in Siem Reap. There is a wide variety of exquisitely-detailed cupcakes, cakes (for order), teas and coffees at Bloom. The street-side cafe is spacious, large, and very comfortable. The service here is fantastic and the staff are very friendly. Water and damp hand towels are provided free. If you are in Siem Reap, make time to come and enjoy Bloom!

This place is unreal. Came across it by chance and will definitely recommend to anyone. Never have I been served cupcakes to a comfy table, with complimentary cold mint infused wet clothes for our hands and water to drink. I tried the Khmer iced coffee and liked it. It was really sweet, with a slightly different flavor than I usually expect from coffee (maybe vanilla bean? Unknown.) The artwork on the cupcakes are gorgeous, the cakes take their flavors very literally, and aren't too sweet like most cupcakes are. Cheap too, $1.6 for a cupcake (as opposed to the $4 I'd expect from the States).

Wowza! What a beautiful place to cool down and enjoy a tasty treat! Not only are the cupcakes exceptionally beautiful, but the ladies who work here are so lovely and the decor is stunning. I anticipate a repeat visit. I bough three cards and relaxed here as I wrote messages in them and sipped on tea.

Beautiful cafe with a great selection of pastries and baked treats! I have visited several times, as I find it to be a very cozy place to hangout and I really enjoyed both their sweet and savory items! One of the meals I had was the beef burger, which was amazing! I have also had their homemade ice creams, which are also very special! I recommend the mango and strawberry flavors if you end up getting yourself some. Nonetheless a great spot in the city!

The absolute best place for coffee, cake and catch-ups. The decor is classically elegant, the food is delicious and the staff are complete professionals. The service and quality are a credit to the very impressive Glasshouse manager, Susan.

This place is amazing!! Honestly, a 5 star rating isn't good enough. Definitely 10 out of 10. Everything about this establishment is impeccable. The atmosphere, the staff, the cleanliness, and the of course....the food. I have read some reviews that said the prices were too high. They are a bit higher than most restaurants, but you get what you pay for. You WILL NOT find food of this quality cheap...anywhere. Honestly, its not that expensive if you compare it to a nice restaurant in the west. The meal I had was a 15 course meal for $28. It is called High Tea. Back in the states, a meal like that would probably be about $75 to $100, depending on the city. For me, back home, I would probably never eat a meal of that quality. It was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend spending a little more than your average restaurant here in Siem Reap and giving it a try for yourself.

I'm yet to try the menu, however ambience, service and coffee are all on point. Very comfortable, chill spot. Friendly welcoming and efficient staff who know what they're doing. Just a word of warning if you sit in the front glass section on the bench seat .....the roof leaks.

Simple elegant décor. A quiet a relaxing place to sit for a drink during the daytime. Only tried the coffee and the guava juice, both are great. The place doesn't have A.C., but the ceiling fans are enough to keep you cool as long as you order something cold. The price are quite reasonable too. The staff are courteous, but they kept trying to ask you to order something else.

Will return. 11:30am, we were the only table. People start to streaming in at 12. Chinese pop songs are being played – not Hong Kong pop, which I consider it more sophisticated. The high ceiling decor is elegant and sophisticated. I love the intricate and symmetrical lattice wood works. Great service and delicious clay pots: tofu and bamboo soup, which is the most delicious, light and flavorful. It’s the best among all the soups I’ve had on this tour so far. We would lunch at their Phnom Penh 金边 a few days later. Comparing the two, I like this one far better.

The food here is outstanding. Authentic Cambodian flavors, unlimited rice, and great set menus. A little pricier than most, but worth it for the quality and experience. Convenient location near my hostel too!

Malis Restaurant in downtown Siem Reap certainly presents itself as an establishment catering to a mid-to-upper price range, which is understandable given its location and ambiance. However, the overall experience didn't entirely align with this expectation. While I appreciate having this level of dining option in the neighborhood, certain aspects left room for improvement, especially considering the cost. One notable area was the comfort of the dining environment. Despite the price point, the restaurant felt surprisingly warm, which detracted from the overall experience, particularly in Siem Reap's climate. Additionally, the level of hospitality, while polite, felt somewhat basic compared to other restaurants in a similar price bracket. Simple touches like a waitress proactively pouring water, which are often standard in this range, were noticeably absent. Regarding the food itself, I opted for the recommended scallops and the Amok Fish. While the dishes were presented adequately, the flavors felt rather mediocre, especially when considering the price. The taste didn't quite justify the cost, and I was left feeling that the quality needs to be elevated to truly match the restaurant's pricing and perceived target audience. While I commend the effort to offer a higher-end dining experience, some refinements are needed to fully meet those expectations.

I went to Malis for breakfast and really enjoyed it. For just $9 net, you get a free-flow option where you can order from the entire breakfast menu from Cambodian dishes to Western classics, plus fresh juice, tea, and coffee. The atmosphere feels elegant with a modern Cambodian design, and there’s even a charming little garden seating area at the back. A great spot to start the morning.

A very ‘special occasion’ restaurant - but who needs a special occasion! Just come and treat yourself - it’s really not that expensive, you deserve a treat and the food is really good! As are the designs, layout and general ambience. I would have given you 5 stars but the Morning Glory was tough, thick, stringy, undercooked, not fresh and had little / no leaf to speak of. Check out Sokkhak River Restaurant’s Morning Glory & take notes. Also, the restaurant was too hot until they turned on large fans, on request. Proper air conditioning would be more welcome. The atmosphere was lacking customers (we were one of only two couples (again, check out your competition & find out why - as they are busy).

Been to Mali’s a few times on my trip. Excellent, upscale space next to the river - meaning it’s easy to get in and out. Food is excellent. Kulen pig is crispy outside and tender juicy inside. Samlor Korko Pork is super flavorful. Service is impeccable. Highly recommended.

I don’t know what’s the hype about this restaurant… expensive and food is bland and of no quality … one of the worst service I encountered in Siem Reap

We just left here and had our Valentines lunch. Such a relaxing area, super friendly owners and just a delightful setting. I had a Caesar salad and my husband had mango passion fruit french toast. We chose a cashew nut smoothie and a cashew nut/coffee smoothie. Both were creamy like a milkshake and perfectly blended. The portions are large so even though the prices are slightly higher, the quality and value is on point. I imagine everything on the menu will be quite tasty. There are kitty cats that mosey thru but do not bother anyone. They just want a safe place to relax. You can also purchase locally grown cashews and special peppercorns plus learn about their story and how they process them. Go and enjoy!

This is the BEST smoothie bowl I’ve had in Southeast Asia. I’ve never had a meal crafted with such care and artistry. The smoothie bowl was perfect - the base itself was fresh and so balanced (not too sweet, not icy), the granola was so crunchy and delicious and each piece of fruit was cut into different shapes. The couple who owns this place are also incredibly lovely and welcoming! Highly recommend this place - everything about it made it so worth it.

One of our favorite lunch cafes in SR serving dishes loaded with fresh fruit and purees. All the dishes are beautifully presented. The egg salad sandwiches are soft and delicious. The shaved ice desserts and fluffy pancakes are a must try.

Great place with interesting items to try and friendly owner who gave us items to sample. We ended up buying some of all of them. The Caesar salad was incredible as well as the mango french toast. The cashew shake was the best shake I've ever had.

The super friendly Japanese owners of this place have done an incredible job of creating a welcoming environment and offering some great food. My order here is always the same, the Egg Sandwich and a Banana Fruit Shake! The egg sandwich here is the best I’ve had and is delicious, with a very big portion and a side of salad and fresh mango balls! Definitely enough if you want to eat half and save half for later (although I’m greedy and eat mine all at once!). Everything is fresh and tasty. They also offer takeaway sealed goods such as good quality cashew nuts. We also like the order the cold-style pasta dishes from time to time as they’re awesome! We highly recommend this place and it’s in a nice location, very easy to get to. The owners are known for their initiative of picking up litter along the Taphul Road area to keep the surroundings clean which we think is fantastic.

This isn't the cheapest in town but it's worth every penny. The salad was fresh, tasty and huge (possibly enough for two) and the carbonara was unique and satisfied a carbonara devotee. Beautiful smoothies too. The restaurant is different, uniquely styled and this level of service only comes from people who own and love their business. Don't judge the price without tasting the food. A special place, don't leave without grabbing a pen and leaving your mark somewhere like thousands have done before.

Wow! A must try in Siem Reap. The vibes in this bar are so good, the service was excellent, and the drinks and food exceeded all expectations. We found this spot through 50 best bars and it truly did not disappoint. Try the pork belly noodles or chicken wings - both were addictive. The martinis were great, as well. All around, it’s an amazing spot and the prices are incredible.

Really stylish bar with beautifully considered décor — the finishing touches throughout make the atmosphere feel classy yet relaxed. The cocktails were excellent: well-balanced, great flavours and beautifully presented. Service was also top notch — friendly, attentive and professional. The only downside was that some customers were smoking, which did take away from the otherwise great experience. A shame, as everything else was spot on. Overall, a lovely bar for quality drinks and a great vibe — well worth a visit if you’re in Siem Reap.

I love this place! We came here twice for dinner. Such a lovely French restaurant hidden inside a small alley. I love all the plants and vintage decorations, even small details like condiments with vintage packaging. I love the ambient and music and of course the food was fantastic, I had salmon pasta and great wine of course. Friendly staffs and good service. The restaurant reminds me of Europe, like restaurant inside a small alley in Italy. Oh bring some mosquito repellant with you though.

A nice chic casual French-ish restaurant tucked away just a stone's throw away from Pub Street. Just opposite the Old Market. We ordered the Salmon tartar and Flower Chicken Salad for starters and Pork Chop, Honey Pork, Wild Sea Bass and Cheeseburger for mains. The food was delicious but we found it very weird that the appetizers were served at the same time as the mains. Made the table very crowded and didn't allow us to savour the tastes of the appetizers and mains individually. The appetizers were really nice and serving it separately would have enhanced the dining experience. But overall, a highly recommended restaurant if you are looking for a nice meal here in Siem Reap.

Stumbled upon this place totally by accident, and what a happy accident it was! We were looking for a brunch place before our afternoon flight back, but the holidays meant it was shut, and as we entered a small, cute looking alleyway we found this. The decor is amazing, be it by day or night, the staff is attentive and helpful, and the food ... A real treat. Decided to go for salads after eating heavily carved foods the past few days and wow, that was the best decision we've made. Went for the banana salad with chicken, paté platter tot share and another salad featuring duck, bacon and gizzards. I hadn't had French food since I left the country and that was just a heartwarming hug from home. Definitely recommend this place, there's something for everyone and the prices are more.than affordable, especially for this quality!

Had a nice lunch at the newly reopened Le Malraux in a cool little alley just a heartbeat away from the Old Market. It's nice, cozy and filled with gorgeous instagram moments you will be forgiven for mistaking you were somewhere in Provence! Their French fare was great but their Khmer food a bit off. Excited to go back and try more of their food.

I found this lovely little French influenced Cambodian restaurant in the alleyways,around Pub st, and it's fantastic. The menu is varied with local Khmer cuisine and french influence with a daily specials board. They also serve great wine and the decor is fab. It's quiet and teanquil and a lovely place for either a thirst quenching drink mid afternoon or a lovely evening meal. Go check it out.

Beautifully decorated restaurant in colonial style, plenty of antiques and vintage items to ogle and some gorgeous old Air France posters that I wanted to steal from the walls!! The food was good, not quite delicious unfortunately...

So this place is run by Cambodian rural trust. The yogurt here is super tasty. Most of their yogurt comes from Australia. Most of the staff are students form the school who work here and help support the cause.The yogurt is super tasty and they give you big servings to taste them. If you happen to pass by please do eat it!!

Amazing project! It is a pleasure keep supporting this incredible initiative for helping local people and support their future and education. Delicious icecreams, that you can serve by yourself, mix different flavors and add heaps of toppings to your own magnificent creations. Prices are super convenient, same same as their location, it is a real gem in the middle of #SiemReap #OldMarket area. I highly recommend this icecream shop for refreshing yourself and helping the community at the same time

If I were reviewing this froyo shop in a major U.S. or European city, it wouldn't be anything spectacular. However, here in Siem Reap it is quite exceptional. Very clean, fast wifi, air conditioning, and a high quality product. An icy, clean, and tasty little oasis in a humid, dusty, and sometimes overwhelming environment. You can sample the flavors just like any western froyo shop without the pushy asian tactics. Froyo shops are super uncommon in these parts. With power outages, high electrical costs, and a country that is pretty much always hot. It's a great little shop. Finally, your money goes to a good cause.

THIS is the Hidden Gem of Siem Reap! Beautiful, airy Cafe with their own garden serving fresh food and a great cause. The staff are amazing, they are emotionally invested. The best Croque Monsieur I've had anywhere, perfectly done! Go early in your visit because you will want to go back.

Stopped in at the coffee shop/ pastry school to have a pastry and a cappuccino. Pastry school says it all, it was great. Think I've found a new morning spot!! Great coffee, pastries and an extremely quaint setting. Nothing but to liked good sure! Open 7am-5pm Tuesday-Sunday Update Stopped in again and tried one of their weekly specials, a chicken blue cheese salad and of course another cappuccino And for dessert another cappuccino and a slice of lemon meringue pie. I will start by saying I was already having a bad day due to my hostel which is located on the same block didn't have any coffee which as I had paid for breakfast and coffee to be included my day didn't get started as normal with a fresh ground coffee. This led to me going in search of my usual kick start to the day being a coffee junkie. I stumbled across Bayon pastry school by chance its location is off a main road down an unmade street that isn't concrete. Seeing the graffiti advertising on the wall at the end of the road, it's less than 50m away. The history of this place is captured in one of many displays and information, so see included photos of the ethos of the place and its mission statement. It's an open plan design garden courtyard with some undercover ceiling fans. To help keep you cool on what is normally a very hot day. I ordered latte see photos, and it was well presented technically. I'm not so sure it was a latte and maybe Cappuccino very thick layer of foam and very milky in flavour. I couldn't taste the coffee, so I returned it asking for an extra shot of coffee. The waitress seemed to understand, but when the cup was returned, the amount of liquid I the cup seemed the same, so I wasn't so sure I had anything added to my cup so for the second time I went back and asked for another shot of coffee to be added. This time making sure I tried it's taste when the waitress brought me the cup back the second she gave it to me. The extra shot this time did change the flavour and I could now taste the coffee but considering at this point I had 3 shots of coffee the temperature didn't seem to alter. I am not a coffee machine expert but I will bet money that the setting on the machine needs turning up or maybe it's faulty and needs a service. So my bad day isn't improving at this point so as I have done hundreds of times before I look at the reviews on Google maps as those that already know me and follow me I review more coffee shops than I do hotels and restaurants. Reading the signs leading to this place and it's story I had high expectations and had a good feeling as I like to support and review independent local business and not the massive fancy pants expensive hotels and restaurants. So the reviews before mine talk mainly about the school and the work that is done and the pastry and cakes. I will say at this point I'm not a pastry chef and I don't eat cakes or sweet dessert very often but as the reviews I read said good things I tried the mango and coconut tart and a passion fruit and orange fruit juice with no added sugar. The tart looked fantastic so photos I had one sip of the juice which was mostly water and ice with not much fruit when more disaster hits as it when starts to rain and I'm sitting in the garden area so not wanting my tart to get wet from the rain I pick my what is actually a chopping board and not a serving try with my top heavy glass to a table that had cover from the rain only to place this chopping board down and the unstable pub stool table the glass tips over because of the uneven level of the flooring and the top heavy glass. which ends up going over my plate and phone covering the newly bought tart so I drain the drink from the plate not wanting it to make the tart to go soggy. The tart topping looked great and flavour was good but the pastry was rock hard even after I had spilt a whole glass of juice over which I quickly drained off it to stop it from affecting the pastry the extra moisture didn't help. I was difficult to get my folk to break it apart which I'm sure it should crumble apart and not stick together like concrete. I hate leaving negative reviews but I'm always going to be honest and I had the worst coffee so far In over almost 1.5 years of doing reviews which coffee is my main topic and not cakes so please read other customer reviews also as I did and maybe you will have much better luck than myself. I was already having a bad day and visiting this place didn't help improve my morning it just made a bad day ever worse.

A very cozy and welcoming coffee spot with a wonderful project behind it — supporting young women to learn baking and even start their own bakery. It’s something we’re very happy to support, and it makes the place feel even more meaningful. The food and coffee were both delicious and well-prepared. Their breakfast menus are really nice and tasty, beautifully presented, and overall very enjoyable. However, the portions are on the smaller side, so in relation to the price, you might feel it’s a bit limited. Still, the quality and presentation make up for a lot. For 4.50 dollars you get a full breakfast menu with coffee or tea, a small bite, and some fruit, which is definitely nice. Overall, it’s a lovely place worth recommending, especially if you want to enjoy a cozy atmosphere while supporting a great cause.

Good food and a great cause. Our food was good, not great. We had the panini, quiche and an almond croissant. I was expecting a nice layer of almond cream inside but didn’t get it and it wasn’t hot. Overall I’d still recommend a visit to have breakfast lunch or coffee while supporting a great charitable initiative.

Fresh bread bakes, excellent breakfast options, international standard cold cuts and a variety of cheese. I had their breakfast bagel that comes with a choice of coffee/tea, which was big in portion and tastes amazing. The price was a bit expensive compared to other places but it's definitely worth it. Highly recommended in Siem Reap.

An authentic French bakery in Siem Reap. We stopped here for a cool drink and delicious chocolate croissant. The bakery also serves imported meats, olive and cheese. The people working here are extremely helpful and kind.

Paris Bakery has a variety of bread, cheese, meats, and pastries. You can build your sandwich, too. I suggest you visit the bakery in the morning when the bread is fresh. The bakery’s decor needs improvement.

If you are looking for an excellent café with real delicacies in Siem Reap, you have to go here. The quality of the food is high, the selection is extremely extensive. Cheeses and sausages are of the best quality. If the music wasn't K-Pop, I would think I was in a Swiss or French café. The service is as good as the selection and is definitely recommended!

What an amazing little bakery! I had a craving for some cheesecake, and Bang Bang delivered. I went with a couple other people, and ended up splitting a peach crumble cheesecake and carrot cake. Both were delicious!!

Absolutely in love with the breads and pastries at Bang Bang. Bagels were spot on, the cheesecakes were so divine and their meal breads are each passionately made that you can hear the baker's heartbeat in every bite. The cafe in itself is a nice little respite in the middle of bustling Taphul Road. This place is leading the charge for Siem Reap's bread renaissance and our stomachs are all happy!

Amazing Vegan chocolate fudge cake and caprese sandwich. The vegan bagel and cream cheese was just OKAY. The caprese sandwich is a good portion and is soooo yummy! The chocolate cake is great for sharing since it's super rich (wait for it to melt a little and it gets even better!)

The best bakery in Siem Reap. A good selection of bread for an affordable price, good size and excellent taste. If you are into sweets, they got you covered with a large selection of home made cakes (great vegan options available). Reasonably priced desserts, the iced coffee comes in different sizes, but the small one is definitely reasonable already. While prices on the counter are both in local currency and dollars, it isn't the case on the main menu, which would have been nice to have. Personally loved my chocolate and passion fruit mousse, but the mango passion cheese cake wasn't anything that great, more of a plain one than anything else. There's upstairs and downstairs seating with all day breakfast that looked amazing, a variety of pastries and bakeries to grab and go and will definitely try that next time instead. There's also a lunch menu with local and Western options, and the staff is kind and knowledgeable.

This cafe is quite large, part of a chain of stores that sells bakery goods, gelato and sorbet and well as breakfast, lunch and dinner items. The menu is primarily western with a few local dishes. We took a large group here and they dealt well with us. It would benefit from having some more healthier options.

There are a lot of flavours of ice cream to choose from. Ice cream worth trying but not dinner food. Lasagne, beef pho and burger all disappointing. Tom yum fried rice and nasi goreng ok.

There are four of us. The rest had western, toasted sandwiches and iced drinks while I had the banana blossom salad and matcha with red bean. For my meal alone, I would have given a two or three stars. The drinks are generous and the others did enjoy their meal somewhat. We sat on the sofa that was very comfortable.

Love this place! The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating to all your needs! The hotel has a lovely vibe, not too big, good swimming pool, cozy spaces. Great amount of yoga classes, lovely spa and massages. Love the food, especially the amount of good vegan options, burgers are amazing, would also recommend the fresh spring rolls, and the bowls. It’s so central yet tucked away in a quiet street. Would highly recommend!

I had an amazing stay in this wonderful haven. The staff are so kind and friendly, it feels like a home away from home! Situated right in the heart of Siem Reap, it is accessible to restaurants and bars, yet it is extremely peaceful, away from the noise of Pub Street. They have a wonderful restaurant serving a mix of local and western comfort food, which you can enjoy while sitting by the pool. On the rooftop, they offer daily yoga classes, all styles and all levels - the perfect way to wind down after all that temple hopping! Don't forget to say hello to the handsome resident dog, Happy - he's always eager for a good scratch and company.

Baby Elephant is definitely a hidden gem in Siem Reap. Staff are always smiling, lovely and helpful. Very convenient location walking distance to the city center yet in a quiet corner. Really appreciate their eco friendly atmosphere. Salted pool is a plus! Delicious food with plenty of vegan options. Also pets friendly. Highly recommended!

We booked for the day retreat package and were disappointed. The yoga was great, but the massage and the spa room was very average, didn’t smell nice and the towel used for draping was damp and felt like it had already been used. The salad lunch bowl was nice even tho our toppings got mixed up. We both chose feta cheese as the protein and got a tiny quantity. We used the pool and got changed in the pool toilet/shower which had a blocked drain, so had to stand in a puddle of water. Not worth $30, and it would be easy to make it a bit special, maybe provide robes and a nice bathroom to change. Including coffee would be nice as had to pay extra. And water after the massage or while at the pool would have been nice. Overall we think $20 would be the right price.

I love this hotel! I used to go there just for the relaxing vibe, pool and a create your own salad bowl. The spa is lovely, I’ve had manicures and massages here and both excellent. They also hold events such as movie nights and second hand clothing markets. Great place to spend your time in Siem reap!

We’ve stopped by Baby Elephant for lunch plenty of times and it’s our favourite, we’ve absolutely loved it every single time. The build-your-own Buddha bowl was fresh, delicious, and full of flavour. Such a relaxing vibe and lovely staff — would definitely recommend for a healthy bite in Siem Reap. I’ve also had eyelash extensions from the girls in the spa there and they lasted so long, and were applied with care and precision.

It wasn't very busy but it was a good stop for a delicious slice of carrot cake. The guy who served me was very nice and polite. I definitely recommend 👍

I stopped at The Village just to have an iced coffee for $3.30. Needless to say, I paid for the ice and not the coffee; there was more ice than coffee. If you order any iced coffee, please inform the barista to go easy on the ice. The atmosphere of The Village was comfortable for a workplace. I found one member of the staff as unpleasant.

I popped in for an iced coffee. Lovely friendly service. Ice latte coffee was delicious and came with a little mini chocolate cookie. I bought a full-size cookie to take away. Highly recommend as a quiet and cool sanctuary for coffee.

I wanted to grab some quick and light breakfast somewhere. I was craving for some baked goods, and so I stopped over here to get a vegan blueberry muffin. It was nice, fluffy and tasted good. Other options sounded good too, but I mainly wanted the muffin. Friendly service. They had free wifi access, which I used a bit. Good speed. There were plenty of vegan, vegetarian and/or gluten-free options, which were well-marked and labelled in the menu.

The Muffin Man is such a fantastic spot to relax and enjoy an Iced Cafe Mocha paired with a delicious Chocolate Muffin—both were amazing! The staff was super attentive, making the experience even better. The only downside was that it got a little noisy, but I think some cozy cushions and plants could really help with that!

The story made the food sweeter!! After good ratings on gmaps, we decided to check it out. The story of the patron was quite touching. This carried into the food and made every bite satisfying. The lemongrass tea was intense and delicious after the rich sweetness of the almond vanilla cake. Yummy muffins and great sandwiches. A recommendation for siem reap indeed.

Incredible food as well as service. I have eaten in the cafe and ordered online and both are excellent and indistinguishable. I had the best raspberry and white chocolate muffin I’ve ever had, delicious and warm. Savoury food is incredible too and lots of vegetarian options which is amazing. I’m here for a few more days and will definitely be back.

I love the story behind Muffin Man and how inspiring the owner. There is a good choice of foods to choose from. The muffins & cheesecakes are addictive! We ate here twice in Siem Reap and ate in the Phnom Penh store twice also.

Cakes are too expensive and tasteless! It's a cake that costs more than $20, but the bread doesn't taste like eggs and it doesn't taste like chocolate. If you don't improve quality, you will be in serious condition. Tous Les Jours in Korea is absolutely not like that.

The baked goods are good (try the walnut bread!), but note that all of the food is left out on open counters. Both times we visited there were many flies in the room landing on the pastries, so be wary of that. Also, though this may be due to a language barier, the teenage employees will tell you that you can take anything into the theater next door- you cannot. We asked twice and were told yes both times, only to be made to leave our pastries in a locker at the theater 20 feet away. Ridiculous.

A good selection of bakeries usually freshly prepared in the mornings. The seating is quiet cramped and there are better options for coffee in town and the coffee and bakeries are quiet expensive compared to similar alternatives further up SIvatha Road. But its a nice addition to the mall just opposite Smart Phone Shop. Staff a bit surly and under trained.... telling us that we are not allowed to take pictures which is strange in a city that lives off tourism.

Great place for pastries! So I lived in South Korea for 3 months and this place was everywhere and I mean everywhere. I probably went there like 4 days a week. They had a huge selection of pastries as well as breakfast and lunch foods. The ones here in Siem Reap are still very good, but the selection is much much smaller. I will say there prices are much better than what I payed in Korea. I definitely recommend this establishment for the quality and price.

The breads are are great. I didn't eat all of bread there, but the hot dog there is delicious. For the place there, It so spaces actually. things look a bit cramp together, little table to sit. however, It won't be a problem for grab and go. Also, about the bread there, from my information, It can last for a day only. not really recommend to keep for more than a day and half.

Really tasty deserts but all very similar options. We really enjoyed it. Prices are high but not too dreadful for a Western option. Place was fairly clean. It was comfortable and the staff were friendly and attentive. Free water was provided. They brought the bill over immediately which was a little presumptious but overall it was a great dessert stop.

I've been living in Siem Reap for six months. In that time, I could not help noticing the Swensen's ice cream parlor along the river near the old market. I finally made my way in as I wanted to enjoy a hot fudge sundae or a banana split, a luxury I had deprived myself of for nearly nine months. Everything appeared on the up and up when I arrived and there were two tables being served. I was brought a menu and then it was as if I had turned invisible. There were at least three people working, and it might have been four. While one person was cleaning tables, another was serving. I briefly perused the menu and quickly made my decision. The menu was on the table indicating I was ready to order. After waiting five minutes, while one server simply stood guard at the counter, doing absolutely nothing, I got up and left. I've always known customer service was of little importance in this part of the world, but I had never encountered something like this. It's clear I will not return.

Ordered a cake for my birthday. They sent me the wrong cake. Did not offer to fix their mistake. Did not give a refund. Just said "next time we promise not to make a mistake". Not responsible for their mistake in any way.

Swensens is an international ice cream chain that is nominally American but mostly in Southeast Asia. They serve consistently some of the best ice cream you can find in the region. This is a good location: quick service, free WiFi, and the staff speaks good English. Worth a visit!

The price is fair. I bought 2 different thing. One is not bad, but garlic bread has a light smell of raw fish. I am not sure if it is a usual smell or it might be my personal taste. The customer service neeeds a lot of improvement. The cashier did not even bother to talk to customer. When I put the tray on the counter to bill, the cashier looks confusing. I asked her if I am doing anything strange as it is my first time there. She did not say anything. I talked to her that I have tried to find the store yesterday but I missed it, she did not even bother to look or talk to me. Lastly, she did not give me the receipt, I ask for one. She did give me one, but she doesn't even want to look at me. However, I am going to go there again as i saw alot of good reviews. Maybe today I am not lucky.

OK.... This would have had 4 stars, but there is no mention anywhere that on a Sunday the donut selection is limited to a choice of three types packed in plastic trays... 🤔🙄👇... As opposed to during the week (Monday through to Saturday) when there is a large selection to choose what you wish. Unfortunately, the choice of three in the plastic all had nuts (nut allergy alert ⚠) so if you have a nut allergy.... No donuts for you... So PLEASE take note.... Zero donut choice on a Sunday. Oh and the other bread selection is also limited... Even the baguettes etc is one type..... So my advice, should you wish to read it is do not go to Phsar Leu bakery on a Sunday... The choice is very disappointing ⚠️👇🙄 Any other day I've never had a problem at all by the way.... This was my first Sunday visit never to be repeated 😂

Cupcake was very dry (frosting was nice), cheese danish was so sweet that you barely taste any cheese. Cakes look nice but based on the above, I wouldn’t bother.

The only one "snow yogurt" available in Siem Reap now, not so sweat, taste good, i like here. It's located just opposite side of Angkor Riviera Hotel.

If you are not an ice cream person but still looking for something refreshing you should try this place. The menu has different creations and the regular option of make your own. Prices are a bit higher than expected but the place is comfortable and with an atypical but smooth design.

This is the best Italian ice-cream place I have ever discovered in Siem Reap. It is halal and kosher. Some products are even vegan. The lady there is an amazing example of Khmer hospitality. And it's owned by an Italian. Prices are 1.5$ per scoop of ice cream and one scoop is actually enough for consumption. Went 2 times. Strongly recommended.

been here twice now. first time i had galette. it was alright. what i will rave about are thecakes. i know the prices can be intimidating, but tue cakes comes with a free cup of hot coffee (any type, except the affogatto haha). i am a fab of the carrot cake. not oily, and the cream cheese outside and in the middle tastes great.

If you go to Siem Reap this is a must visit. Let me repeat that: this is a must visit. Sort of a weird British concept, gin and desserts but it sure as hell works for me even though I don't drink. For your drinkers, they have a huge selection of gin including their own homemade flavoured gins and the bartender knows how to mix a non-alcoholic cocktail, of which there are many they can do you. I had one with chili peppers in it and it was fabulous. Of course I'm there for the desserts and they don't disappoint. The guys that own this place stole a pastry chef from one of the French bakeries in town and they got a good one cuz this dude knows how to whip up a cheesecake. So it's like okay, have a quick dinner somewhere and then roll over to the Pudding Club for the good stuff. And it's open late! Late night desserts after an evening smokefest. No wait think about this rolling from the temples and have dessert before you collapse in your hotel. Priceless. Desserts. Priceless. In a city full of bakeries, these dudes stand out. Again, a must visit. Even though I'm watching my weight, you'll probably get a chance to see me there a couple of times a week. Great place with such a classy energy! I’m not a gin fan, but their speciality gin has me hooked! For those that don’t drink alcohol, have no fear, their mocktails are out of this world too! I’ve tried the majority of their dessert menu and not one has been a disappointment! Highly recommend the sponge cake, Crème Brûlée, cheesecake, and apple pie! The staff is friendly, welcoming and always excited to help you pick the perfect desserts and drink combos! Great place for a nice evening out or big events! Great job Pudding Club Team!

Amazing gin flavours beautifully served, my partner and I shared a Black Forest gateau and we both decided on a pea and blueberry gin which were so good we ordered another pair. Following which 🤩 we had an excellent evening 🤪. It's great to see a town like Siem Reap with such a wide selection of places. We aim to return a some stage, and go for more gins.

WOW! Ok, yes 5 starts, the gelato is fantastic! We had 5 different flavor scoops and they were all delicious. We ate the entire container in one sitting. So good we could not stop. 10 stars for going above and beyond! When we told the staff that we wanted it for take-away it was no problem. they bundled it up and stapled it closed. So we thought nothing else about it other than it was heavy. When we arrived home and opened our package - imagine our surprise when sitting on top was a bag of ice, then the container of deliciousness, and another bag of ice at the bottom! The wafers and tiny spoons were in a separate little bag so they did not get mushy! That is seriously going above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction! I'm a sucker for good gelato, so decided to come here for some dessert after having dinner near to pub street. Unfortunately I wasn't too impressed, I had 2 scoops and tried the pistachio and lime & coconut. A bit too creamy for my taste and quite muted in terms of flavor. However the staff is super friendly and cozy place to relax and enjoy some sweet treats.🍨

The shop is conveniently located near Pub Street, close to everything, and has a cute, charming design. They offer an impressive range of gelato from sorbets to special flavors and the classic favorites. I tried the avocado pistachio, which was smooth, not overly sweet, and really enjoyable. A lovely spot for a sweet break.

I had my night cone ice cream and went back again next day just for the Affogato. The taste was good the outlook was not like the pic in the menu, not a bit similar. I was eager for video shooting of it. However theur lemon sober is the best to waken you up, works better than a coffee.

Famous ice cream shop in Siem Reap. If we say Gelato Lab is artistic ice cream shop, we say Amami is more traditional, standard ice cream shop. I ordered medium which we can choose 2 flavor, and choose strawberry cheese cake and tiramisu. The taste is very traditional and taste decent. The atmosphere here is very confortable, really relaxed, and enjoyed sweet time.

The strawberry cheesecake and Nutella cookie gelato is amazing. Service is friendly and hospitable.

A little gelato shop with a variety of gelato and sorbet choices. They also have vegan options. Unfortunately their seasonal menu including durian, mangosteen and black cherries are no longer available. The waffle cone is thin and crispy. The pistachio flavor does not quite taste like pistachio. First time I tried the fermented rice gelato and it has an interesting taste. Overall a very delightful experience.

I purchased some gelato from Amami Gelato Siem Reap for my kids and they absolutely loved it. The staff was professional and friendly, and there was a wide variety of flavors to choose from. The traditional Khmer wooden house was beautifully decorated with old Cambodian items, creating a unique and cozy atmosphere. The gelato was delicious, with my personal favorite being Durian and my kids enjoying the chocolate flavor. I highly recommend stopping by for a quick and tasty treat.

It's a new ice cream shop handmade by Cambodian people. If you want to taste it, please enjoy it there. It's a good atmosphere. It's near @Banlle Vegetarian Restaurant. I'm enjoy it after dinner with my friends. Staff are so friendly and smiling. They're still open until 10 pm.

Freshly made artisanal ice cream. The place offers a nice corner outdoor seating to enjoy a tasty ice cream scoop or two. Highly recommended, flavors change on a weekly basis so you get a nice rotation.

I can't believe I am even reviewing this place but believe it or not, after roasting in my own juices all day at Anchor Wat this ice cream was exactly what I needed. Pro tip: Waffle Bowl Banana Nut Sundae with two scoops of Rum Raisin Ice Cream. TO. DIE. FOR.

BAD EXPERIENCE I ordered a chocolate lava, way overcooked I usually come and have a good time. I called the manager to explain to her that the chocolate was overcooked, she didn't want to hear anything. the old one was more pleasant and more attentive to their client. The shift manager was unpleasant

Great ice cream. Swear it’s the best chain for soft serve ice cream in Cambodia! My banana split was a real treat, especially since it’s usually 1,000 degrees during the daytime here in Siem Reap. My date had some dish that was some straight up chocolate awesomeness. Heritage Walk is also a good spot to kill time. Top recommendation.

Nice place to go to try some deserts or ice creams, the flavors are not very sweet if that is what you like. They have a reasonable selection of cakes and ice cream to choose from. The staff were friendly and helpful and was not busy when we were there.

I’m all into gelato ice-cream

The whipped cream was out of date: cheese taste. The waitress tasted it and said it was the normal taste. I ordered an oreo smoothie and it tasted like coffee. The waitress told me that all the smoothie were coffee-flavored, but that wasn't written on the menu at all. No refund, of course.

Okay, full disclosure: I didn't buy anything here, so I can't comment on the ice cream or the service. However, as an American raised in the midwest where Dairy Queen is everywhere and many stores are decades old it was startling to see one inside a modern shopping mall in downtown Siem Reap.

I bought 2 of this at 8pm after that staff told me can they put 1 in a cup because it’s time for them to close their shop then i said yes, after that another staff said sorry can you change to the other ice cream the price is the same and the reason is the same they have to close the shop (i think they need to count stock) I asked why then they said because (same reason) i have no choice because already paid. So my boyfriend ok to take the other ice cream I cannot remember the name i just know it’s vanilla and cookie. What I wonder is “why can’t they take នំ​ and then count stock?” Anyway i still love the taste of the ice cream there. #MSDL

The food/ice cream was fine, but the staff were really rude.

Different quality compared to Dairy Queen stores in other countries. I ordered several different kind of blizzard for delivery. But when I received them, all of them were Oreo blizzard. And no refund or item change was accepted. Further more, they topped Oreo on the top of the ice cream, and not mixed. It is hard to say these are Oreo blizzard.

We've stopped for shakes several times dueing our time in Siem Reap and they were always delicious, thick and cold. However, this DQ is just a kiosk, not a restaurant with seats. If you want to sit down, there are a few tables/seat withing the Heritage Walk mall.
