Ice cream shop
Nestled in the charming town of New Hope, Moo Hope Ice Cream is a must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth. After taking a leisurely walk across the picturesque New Hope-Lambertville Bridge, treat yourself to their delightful homemade ice cream. The shop boasts an inviting atmosphere with ample indoor and outdoor seating, making it easy to find a spot even during busy times.
This is the BEST ice cream I have ever had and it was creamy, thick and did not melt so fast. I will definitely be coming back. I had the Lavender Coconut 🥥 ice cream! 🍦 it was thick and rich with lavender flavor all throughout and a tint of purple 💜
Amanda M — Google review
Home made ice cream at its best! Moo Hope Ice cream is always busy (for a good reason) but the line moves fast. Nobody is unhappy waiting for ice cream! Today I had chocolate pudding crunch and moose tracks. YUM! Bold flavors and great consistency. You can’t go wrong!
Jordy A — Google review
Really delicious ice cream with a great variety of menu items. My daughter ordered a Shirley Temple float that was amazing, and my other daughter had a single scoop with gummy bears. One small downside is that they only offer waffle cones—no sugar or cake cones—so she ended up with her ice cream in a cup, which isn’t her usual preference. I tried the chocolate-dipped waffle cone with Coffee Oreo and Salted Caramel, and both flavors were outstanding. Scoop sizes are huge. We stopped by around lunchtime and it wasn’t crowded, so service was quick and friendly. Some reviews mention service issues, but we didn’t experience that at all. There’s also a lovely outdoor seating area in the back with views of the Delaware River, which made it even more enjoyable. Overall, a great experience and definitely worth a visit.
Chen W — Google review
Expected high prices as it’s a tourist destination however, $1.50 for each add on is a bit over the top even for location. Order: 1 scoop birthday cake ice cream-5.95 SUGAR CONE (instead of informing us they don’t have, substituted and charged for waffle cone)-1.75 whipped cream-1.50 rainbow jimmies-1.50 a (single) cherry (charged for white chocolate syrup bc”we don’t have option for cherry in system”)-1.50 Total: $12.20 Received: ice cream with cone with no toppings… cool 🙄

My wife brought me to New Hope, PA for our anniversary a couple months ago, and we stumbled on Moo Hope while walking around — such a cute little spot! 🧆 Food: I had the Blueberry Crumb Cake ice cream and Key Lime Pie ice cream — both were incredible treats with just the right amount of sweetness. Perfect choices for a warm summer day without feeling too heavy. 👥 Service: There was just one girl working the counter, but she was friendly and moved quickly to keep the line moving. 🎨 Aesthetic: Classic small-town ice cream shop charm with a cozy, welcoming vibe. They also had baked goods on display, which added to the homemade feel of the place.
Casey S — Google review
I came here twice during my stay in the area. I got some Moose Tracks ice cream on both occasions. The first time it was great, the second it was almost entirely vanilla base ice cream with few (if any) peanut butter cups and almost no fudge. My wife had the same experience with the flavors she got, so the ice cream seems inconsistent or at least not uniformly mixed. The selection is however quite good. I’m not sure if I would visit again soon given the second, disappointing experience.
Colin V — Google review
Great ice cream flavors and quality that really hit the spot. However, the prices are a bit on the higher side, which might make it a special-occasion stop rather than an everyday treat. Seating is limited—there aren’t many tables to relax and enjoy your scoop, which can be a downside if you want to linger. Also, there was a noticeable smell in the shop that my son didn’t care for, so that took away a bit from the experience. Still, the ice cream itself is tasty enough to bring us back.
Melvin G — Google review
Three visits in, i am still obsessed!! 💖 We make it a point to visit this place every time we’re in town, and it never disappoints. We’ve tried Black Raspberry (10/5), Mango (10/5), Coffee Oreo, Coffee, and Coffee Grinds (10/5 – tastes just like Coffee Bite chocolate ❤️ my absolute favorite!). Every single flavor we’ve tried is bursting with authentic, rich taste and perfect texture 🤌🏼💕. Yes, it’s a little on the pricier side and the lines can be long — but honestly, it’s worth the wait. A true must-try for ice cream lovers!

Great place to go! The service is excellent. The coffee is the freshest I've had! It was sooo good i went back a couple hours later for a second cup! Their everything bagel was toasted perfectly. Went with a group a friends and unexpectedly ran into another group of friends. It was a great day for sure and Mama Hawk's made it more enjoyable! The fireplace and cozy atmosphere helped take the chill out of the damp day (it was a chilly rainy day that day) too!

Great atmosphere, friendly service, clean and so many Yummy things! I had the frozen hot chocolate with peppermint and a Snickerdoodle cookie and they were Devine! Can't wait to return!

This is a great Cafe ☕️ in Peddlers village. The themed menu is such a cool thing to have. Had a iced coffee with chocolate syrup and it was absolutely good. A pastry I got here was the peach cinnamon roll which is a must, and had good taste with the peaches 🍑 in it. The workers here were very nice and welcoming. I will definitely be back to try there other goodies and they have lunch here as well which is perfect 👍.
Brendan M — Google review
Stopped in to grab a bite to eat and coffee during the madness of Peddlers Village in the summer months. Staff was great, worked quick, really friendly, atmosphere is great as well, laid back place,.where the rating drops is the food, the food is not food, it's premade, frozen "food"....3 out of 4 people took a few bites and couldn't finish their sandwiches, the 4th was a 6 year old who happily ate his bagel with egg and cheese. It's been a while since I felt like I waisted $ at a food establishment but $70+ for 3 drinks and 4 "sandwiches", 2 of which was on 1 single piece of bread, was definitely a waste.
Karina H — Google review
This place is super cute! The atmosphere is lovely, and the bright colors make the place pop really well. We ordered a cinnamon roll, which was very tasty, and tried the iced Joker latte and the iced Artful Dodger latte. Both drinks were delicious. The joker latte was perfectly balanced and not too sweet. The Artful Dodger was amazing! It was much sweeter but made well. I could taste all of the chocolate, banana, and coconut elements. Coconut belongs in more coffee drinks. I'll always jump at an opportunity to try one! You can order the lattes iced or frozen, which I think is a great addition. They also sell lunch options. Their menu is very unique, and I love the pop culture references of the name of the items. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.
Zie M — Google review
We loved this place! Went in on a busy Saturday night but they kept the line moving and our drinks were made quickly. If it wasn’t so cold we would’ve sat outside on the adorable patio! I love the 8oz option for coffee- my vanilla latte was delicious and the cookies are amazing too!! Super friendly staff that know what they’re doing. Met one of the owners and he was great too! Highly recommend!
Randi C — Google review
We got the blueberry and basil infused cold brew. It literally was not coffee. It tasted like watered down blueberry juice, pretty absurd to call that coffee. We asked if we could exchange it and they said no but they could throw some espresso in there which was nice. Just ridiculous to call that a blueberry infused cold brew and not a blueberry juice, like give people a heads up before they spend 6 dollars on a cup of water. The kid was nice and tried to help us but the woman who made the drink was rude and was really annoyed with us because we didn't like our 6 dollar cup of blueberry water

Bakery
C'est La Vie French Bakery & Cafe is a small, traditional bakery in New Hope, NJ that serves delicious pastries as well as coffee and tea. The bakery is tucked behind several other buildings near the bridge to Lambertville, NJ and is a wonderful place to stop for a snack any time of year.
Another stop on our tour of New Hope brought us to this little gem. Tucked off the street, you have to walk down an alley to find it but it's worth it. Authentic French pastries and a little hangout to eat it all. A definite must try
Rodney I — Google review
After a nearby winery stop on Saturday, my top tier chums and I popped by this café for some coffee and to take a bit of a breather from the insanity of the downtown New Hope area (which seems to get more and more chaotic every year). C'est La Vie has some noticeable signage on the main drag, but the actual establishment is tucked away down a little side street/alley. There's some decent outdoor seating that has a pleasant view of the Delaware River, but unfortunately we ended up getting over there 20 minutes prior to the closure of that section of the café - we probably would have lingered a bit longer otherwise. There was a solid handful of customers in the establishment when we walked in, so I'd say we ended up waiting close to 10 minutes from the time of entry to us all receiving our orders. Nothing egregious, and the line moved pretty efficiently. There was a rude older gentleman who cut the line and made some distasteful comments to the staff, but I think they handled that about as well as you can. I decided to get a small vanilla latte, and then impulsively requested a Napoleon pastry after making eye contact with it in the display counter. Neither purchase was regretted. One small piece of constructive feedback though - there's a menu up on the wall, but it doesn't explicitly indicate that lattes are an option. Not a huge deal (and there's an argument to be made that lattes are ubiquitous in any coffee place), but I did have a solid 30 seconds of debate about my backup drink because I wasn't sure if they'd have that latte. Anyway. The latte was very good, and the Napoleon was gigantic, as you can see from the attached picture. Delicate, flaky and pretty much perfect from a pastry perspective. It's a little hard to eat in my opinion because of its by definition tiered structure, but that's certainly not C'est La Vie's fault. I knew what I was getting into. There's no such as a hidden gem when it comes to downtown New Hope, but this place at least doesn't feel like you're in the middle of a cattle stockyard of tourists. And as a bonus, it offers above average coffee and pastries.
EE G — Google review
Truly a hidden gem in the heart of New Hope on the rivers edge. A delight for all of your senses. So many unusual treats- they will be the hit of the party. There are even goodies for your four footed friends

Every thing we ordered here was very balanced not to sweet not to bland. Baba Au Rhum, Cream Puff, Mango Mousse and Crème Brûlée.
Tony S — Google review
I was craving some fresh pastries after having visited France in February and did a search and found that this place was open today! This places is tucked away in the back by the river in a cute town. Everything is amazing and the staff are so friendly and warm. My favorite are the croissants and danishes, specifically the cheese danish. They are extremely buttery, crisp, and fresh. Every flavor has something different to offer.
Sabina D — Google review
We had the pleasure of getting there early and sitting while enjoying fresh croissants. Light, buttery and steamy the plain croissant was delicious. Later we split a apricot croissant that was bright, fruity and buttery. My wife, who’s been to Paris, said it took her back. We left with a bag of cookies and bread. Which I’m sure will be equally amazing.
Evan D — Google review
Escape New Hope's crazy streets at this quiet off the main path French bakery. We had the croissants and crumb cake and they were very good. The employees were very friendly. Nice view of the water to.

Ninas is a fantastic destination in New Hope for satisfying your sweet cravings. Their delicious waffles and ice cream are prepared fresh right before your eyes. While the upper location on mechanic street is usually preferred, their new Main Street establishment also delivers equally delightful treats. Although the service may have been somewhat lacking, with two young individuals managing the place and needing to repeatedly ask for orders despite having only two customers present, the end result was still amazing.
Fortunate enough to experience this at a wedding; was the best dessert I’ve ever had at such an occasion. Only issue was the portion size — too large for me alone, had to share! Wish I could time travel and eat it one sitting because it was THAT GOOD!
Lindsey C — Google review
Smells heavenly right when you walk into the door!! Service was super, they’ll let you sample the ice cream flavors and the waffles are freshly baked. First time having liege waffles and it did NOT disappoint! 😍 Nina’s ice cream really hit the spot, don’t pass this place up if you’re in the area!
Colin W — Google review
Nina’s Waffles is delicious! We have had them bring their truck to our company for 2 events now and it’s been a hit. They were also amazing to work with. While in New Hope I stopped by again for the s’mores waffle. It couldn’t have been better. I also prefer soft serve ice cream but their Oreo ice cream and vanilla were the best I’ve ever tasted. Everyone needs to try it! Pictured: blueberries and whipped cream waffle and s’mores waffle.
Tina H — Google review
Nina’s is always a great final stop for curing my sweet tooth when I go to New Hope. It’s waffles and ice cream, for God’s sake. Waffles are made fresh right in front of you. Normally my wife and I go to the upper location on mechanic street, however earlier we tried their new Main Street location. The waffles and ice cream were still great! However the service was a little lackluster. Two high school-esque teenagers were running things, and despite us being the only two customers in the place, they had to ask us for our orders three more times. Aside from that, the final product was great.
Garrett H — Google review
One place not to walk by! Excellent ice cream! OMG! The best pumpkin ice cream I have ever had... said by everyone!! I loved the ice cream, and the ice cream with warm waffles is over-the-top!

Nice little place right by the bridge between New Hope and Lambertville. Standard frozen yogart self serve place. They weight your items after you have filled your bowl. Slightly more expensive then Langhorne or Oxford valley but expected in New Hope. We have eaten in Lambertville and strolled across the bridge for dessert. They have ice cold water you can serve yourself in little cups also.

They had a food truck at an event and they were absolutely rude! I asked for an Americano and got a shot of espresso. When my face was displeased while looking in the cup, the barrista asked if I wanted hot water. I told her "that's how americanos are made" and she got snappy at me. The prices increased each time I went, but I got less in the cup! $4 for what you see in this picture. RIP OFF!

Bakery
Factory Girl Bake Shop, located in New Hope, is known for its philosophy of baking everything from scratch using natural and real ingredients. The bakery offers a variety of favorites such as salted caramel brownies, scones, and apple/pear cake. Additionally, they have daily specials including croissants on Fridays, donuts on Saturdays, and (cinnamon) buns on Sundays.
Kimberly of Factory Girl was truly awesome to work with! She is so accommodating and kind, and really has a beautiful vision for her work. Our cake was exactly what we could have hoped for - we aimed for a balance between an overall clean shape, with handmade elements such as stuccoed frosting, rough natural edges, and whimsical floral details, which she executed perfectly off of a single phone call discussion. Not to mention, the flavor is seriously delicious - we did the Vanilla+Lavender cake, with Blackberry jam filling, and it was the perfect balance of appealing to any palette, while also having a unique and complex flair. We cannot stop eating it and will gladly put on a few post-wedding lbs in order to finish it 😂. We will never forget how she complimented our day! I cannot wait for the next opportunity to work with Factory Girl.
Erin H — Google review
Our go to place for cakes. They make fresh and beautifully decorated cakes. We really like the lavender cake. Excited to try more items.

My husband and I were going for our morning walk with our coffee. We came upon this charming shop and bought some breakfast scones / phenomenal! Amazing taste - I think my husband had berries and I had one with chamomile. We also bought a loaf of bread for friends and dinner! As I was walking out the charming owner asked if I would like to take some flowers with me - because we were talking about gardens and various sorts of flowers. Made my day! I took them home with me and they are on my table - reminding me of the wonderful atmosphere, delicious scones and a gift and surprise of beautiful flowers. Thank you! We will be back! Obviously :)!
Jennifer T — Google review
Factory Girl Bake Shop did a PERFECT job for our wedding cake! The flavor matched the description perfectly (cocoa velvet, basically red velvet but a little more chocolatey) and it was exactly what we asked for from a small cutting cake. My husband and I absolutely decimated it between just the two of us in the following two weeks from our wedding LOL. Many thanks to Factory Girl!!
Brittany K — Google review
I was able to put in a last minute order for a birthday cake and they were able to fit me in (which they definitely didn't have to do). I really appreciate how they went above and beyond to make my mom’s birthday all the more special with an amazing carrot cake! On top of that, the price was extremely reasonable for the quality and size I got. I will be ordering more cakes in the future, but give them more notice!
Victoria M — Google review
We had the pleasure of working with Kimberly from Factory Girl Bake Shop for our wedding cake, and we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out! Kimberly delivered the cake to our venue in Doylestown, PA and seamlessly decorated it with flowers provided by our florist (Wild Things Floral Artistry). The result was stunning—the way she arranged the flowers made it look like they were naturally growing from the cake. With the addition of the warm peach/rust color we decided to add, it was a unique and beautiful design! The taste was also subtle yet delicious! We chose a lemon cake with raspberry jam and vanilla Swiss meringue buttercream, and every bite was a hit with us and our guests. Kimberly was a joy to work with throughout the process. Just a quick tip—definitely give her a call rather than relying on email for the smoothest communication. If you're looking for a gorgeous, tasty, and thoughtfully-designed cake for your special day, we highly recommend Factory Girl Bake Shop!

Kimberly and her team are so amazing at what they do. This past weekend she created the most beautiful and delicious spread of deserts for my best friends bridal shower. Kim and her magical staff at Factory Girl continue to make every special occasion and every day occasion so special with their amazing confections. I've ordered for countless holidays, birthday and other occasions and have literally never once been disappointed. I'd recommend something specific but you cannot go wrong with ANYTHING here, so stop in or give them a call to arrange something special, beautiful and delicious!

Chocolate shop
The small business owner of Country Fair Chocolates is highly commendable, as she brings joy and happiness to customers with her delightful presence. Upon entering the store, one is consistently greeted warmly with a smile and presented with exceptional handmade chocolates. Although the prices may be slightly higher compared to mass-produced alternatives from larger companies, the quality of these artisanal chocolate treats far surpasses them.
My family and I love this chocolate shop! We have been going here for years. Many great candies and chocolates made on site available. I love the chips ahoys dipped in milk chocolate. The cover covered strawberries are some of the best. The owner is delightful, she is very helpful and it is always nice to see her. I highly recommend this place for your fresh made chocolate needs.

Every time I come to New Hope from Chicago, my very first stop is Country Fair Chocolates. My colleague Adam and I have been visiting for years, and we’ve fallen completely in love with both the shop and its incredible owner, Barb. Barb is one of the warmest, kindest, most welcoming people I’ve ever met. She doesn’t just sell chocolates - she pours her heart into everything she makes and everyone she meets. She remembers us every single time, greets us with open arms, and makes you feel like family. She’s also the best historian of the town - you’ll leave with not only chocolates, but also amazing stories, fun facts, recommendations and even haunted tales about New Hope. She’s the concierge of the town. And the chocolates… wow. The coconut clusters are absolutely to die for, and there’s always something unique and delightful to try. You can taste the love and care in every bite. Barb has been part of this community for decades, and you can feel her passion not just for her craft, but for the people and the town she serves. She embodies everything you hope to find in a small local shop - heart, history, and hospitality. I honestly come back to New Hope for her. She’s that special. If you’re visiting, do yourself a favor: stop in, have a chat, grab some coconut clusters, and let Barb make your day. ❤️

Expensive chocolate shop in a small space. I bought chocolates to give as gifts, so not sure if they actually taste good. Chocolate covered strawberries are super expensive, hence did not get those on this trip. No special bag for the chocolates, just a plain plastic one.

Sadly, our experience with this establishment was extremely poor. The cashier lady (she might also be an owner) is very rude and bitter. She yelled at me when I opened a box of chocolate that I PAID for, saying that I cannot eat it inside of her store because of some “tax” thing.. That’s not a good customer service, also what’s so wrong with eating the chocolate inside of her store? That was a disgusting experience and it completely ruined my overall experience of New Hope. I have to say though that the chocolate she sells is decent.

Stopped in for a quick visit while on a business trip to New Hope and was impressed by the diverse selection of candies, especially all of the handmade chocolates. The owner, Barb, was working the counter and was as charming as could be. Purchased a selection of beautifully-crafted chocolates and some gummy candies. I fear there won't be any left to share by the time I arrive back at home.

Country Fair Chocolates is absurdly overpriced. Four tiny pieces of “butter crunch” cost me $6.50. No buttery taste, no crunch—just soggy disappointment. I ate it so you don’t have to.

Every time I’m back in town, I make a point to stop at this shop. Barb, the owner, is wonderful, and the chocolates are truly exceptional. Always fresh, creative, and delicious—this place is a must-visit.

I love this place. Anytime I travel to New Hope I stop in for the chocolate strawberries and a conversation with the owner, Barb. She’s great!

Low-key bakery featuring straightforward baked goods such as cakes, turnovers & cupcakes.
My boyfriend got me this cake for my 21st birthday! The cake looks almost exactly like the inspiration photo, tasted fantastic, and the staff was willing to fix an error with the name on the cake quickly! Exactly what I was hoping for :)

I ordered a two cakes from this bakery for my mom’s 60th birthday, and my nephew’s third. unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. I specifically requested a chocolate and vanilla cake. However, when I picked it up, the cake was entirely vanilla and missing a few details from the picture I sent. When I pointed out the issues i had with the cake , the staff rushed to make adjustments, but it felt hasty and unprofessional. While I appreciate the effort to fix the mistakes, the end result still didn’t meet my expectations. They also rush me out the store and didn’t even tried to make up for not meeting my expectations. I guess since they got paid making sure the customer is happy is not important. I spent $400 on two cakes and left feel Unhappy with my purchase. For a bakery known for custom cakes, I expected better attention to detail and customer service. Sadly, this experience left me underwhelmed, and I will not be returning.

I placed a last-minute birthday order with Ewing Cake for a yellow cake with chocolate mousse, and it turned out absolutely perfect! The cake was delicious, not too sweet and all my guests loved it. Best of all, it was made exactly how my daughter requested. Highly recommend for both taste and service!

I love this bakery and have been using them for years! I want to give a special shoutout for fulfilling a last minute birthday cake order for me on Sunday. We were able to pick up the cake within 3 hours! It was more than I hoped for! Their buttercream is AMAZING and it went perfectly with the vanilla cake and fudge filling. They decorated according to my request and added beautiful sparkling flower accents with a strawberry border. It made my 70 year old friend overjoyed. Much appreciated!!

The lady that assisted me was very helpful and it didn't take me long to pick out everything I could possibly pick out. I bought a cake today on short notice, as we were surprising our new boss for her birthday, and the cake I bought was phenomenal/ delicious! It was chocolate and vanilla cake with a vanilla and chocolate topping, with 3 strawberries. It wasn't too sweet and it wasn't too heavy, and everyone at work had a piece (15 pieces of cake!)! It was an 8" round cake and it was nice and thick. The pricing was very acceptable and they had all kinds of cookies (I bought 2 of each of all of them!!) and individual cake slices so I provided a selection that everyone at work tried, it was pleasing with all of the different varieties. I couldn't be more delighted. I can't wait to order another cake!
