My friend and I just attended a cupcake decorating class and had an incredible experience! The instructor was helpful and patient, coming around to each table to show the techniques up close. The space is beautiful as well - it made the whole event feel special! Plus, the cupcakes taste incredible. Their chocolate cupcakes are truly the best I've ever had. Can't wait to come back and try more!

Lancaster Cupcakes was really easy to work with for our wedding. Multiple people told us how delicious they thought the cupcakes were. This was an easy and delicious alternative to cake. If you’re interested in cupcakes for your wedding, I’d highly recommend Lancaster Cupcakes.

We had the best experience at a cupcake class!!!! Directions were clearly given and the finished product was beautiful. It was simple enough for my 10 year old and myself to both enjoy. We will definitely be back!

I live in Lancaster County, but do not get into the city that often, but when I do, I always stop here! Wish they were open on Sundays, we would come more often not to mention a new love spot for our guests ♥️🤍💚 try everything! I grew up in the Italian market area in South Philly . . authentically delicious!

I bought multiple items to try. The baguettes were delicious. The tiramisu wasn't bad, a little watery for me. Bought a coffee cake slice, delicious. Had a frappe mocha drink with whipped cream topping. It must be homemade I didn't care for it It tasted like whipped fat it was very heavy, dense. Had a few other treats and bagels. They were good. I would recommend the place for real Italian tastes.

My husband gets my birthday cake from here every year and it’s always a hit! We also love their chocolate croissants and coconuts macaroons. By far our favorite bakery in Lancaster county.

they serve Lavazza coffee!! while we were in Lancaster for a short family getaway, I couldn't drink another cup of hotel coffee so I went for a walk around town to find something decent. I see a small sign off in the distance, 'Italian Bakery', so I stop in and right by the front door I see - Lavazza! the coffee gods lead me to paradise! while I was there I got some pastries to take back to the hotel for the family. everything was fresh and delicious, but more importantly the coffee was perfection.

You want a banger for a bakery look no further than La Dolce Vita. As the name suggests, the bakery expertly makes a huge variety of Italian desserts, which of those I have tried are excellent. I especially love the cannolis, which are beautifully flaky coated with a variety of chocolate on the inside. The whole place smells so darn good. They even offer lunch options as well. A must try if you love desserts !

This place is awesome!!!! I called for a custom cake to be made in less than a week. Not only did they make the cake the way I wanted for my wife's birthday, but it was on time and it was so delicious!!!! No one was willing to take my order due to the time it needed to be made. They came through. I'm so thankful, they made my wife's birthday so special. I will be coming back in the future for more customer cakes to be made. Thank you so much!!!!

I’m so upset. My boyfriend and I drove two hours, from Levittown PA, to come get some baked goods. We parked and arrived at their door at 3:15pm - on a Saturday that they were open till four o clock. Not today! They were closed! I can’t even begin to express my frustration.

For paying $90 and so for the 12 dozen cookies. Very disappointing how we opened the package and it looks like it wasn’t even package with care. Knowing they ship outside of PA. I would have expected a better care on the package also knowing it’s summer time. They should have put something to protect the cookies from melting and moving around on the box. We didn’t even eat all of it, just took tiny bites since majority smelled like they have been cooked for a very long time/ tasted very old like a bit rotten and the inside is not even fully cooked other was hard as a rock!. For the price we paid. We want our money back for the cookies we got that ended up straight to the trash.

This store has the best cookies 🍪 I ever tasted they're very unique. Omg!!! So soft, so fresh... made with such good quality ingredients! My goodness, these cookies are absolutely lovely. The chocolate one's were my favorite 😋 and melts in your mouth. If you are cookie lover you should definitely try their cookies.

I was so excited to get my order!!! But then I was disappointed because the one cookie I was really looking forward to, I didn't get. Instead I got something else. But I did decide to go ahead and try the rest of them. So far I tried the Birthday Cake cookie. It was delicious. I plan on taking the other cookies with me on my vacation with my kids in the next day and have them try them too. Will update on the other flavors. Birthday Cake 9/10 PB&J ?? Peanut butter Explosion daughter gave it a 7/10 and i gave it 8.5/10 Classic chocolate chip 8.5 (for me) daughter gave it a 6/10 just cuz its not grandma's cookie. 🙂 Lava Cake daughter gave it a 10/10 I gave it 9/10 Peanut butter fudge 0/10 (didn't recieve) Replacement- Brookie 8.5/10 for me, the mini tester said 1/10.

I saw their live at TIKTOk . So I said , why not give it a try since it’s from Pennsylvania where their store is located and they made their cookies there. Well , I am glad I ordered some and well money spent . Their cookies are so soft and delicious . My entire family and friends love it . I ordered the Chocolate Dubai . It’s so Yummy. I post it in TIKTOK . Give it a try folks , pretty sure you’ll love their cookies .

I’m here to say that Taylor Chip lived up to the hype! There are tons of competitors in this market who have great branding but don’t deliver when it comes to taste or quality. Taylor Chip knocks it out of the park on taste, quality, packaging, customer service, the full package. I ordered 1 of each flavor and every one I have tried has exceeded expectations. If I had to choose a favorite I’m thinking salted Carmel pretzel as it was so decadent. I will update my review later as I am a sugar addict who has lost 75 pounds over the last year and I cannot eat sugar day other than Saturday. But rest assured that I have every intention of getting through the box and great job Taylor Chip on working hard to live up to the hype as that’s not easy in today’s world!!

Recived the cookies quickly although my box was bent. Cookies seemed flattened but still tried them anyway. Coconut Cream pie was my favorite. Not too sweet. Hubby tried the others. All too sweet but I appreciated the clean ingredients. The salted caramel pretzels one would have been better if the pretzel pieces were smaller. They were kind of stale. Overall though the flavors were good.

Taylor Chip was our go to for cakes and sweet treats when we lived in Lancaster. After we moved, we still ordered (even now!), and when we planned to have our wedding in Lancaster this past May, we KNEW who would be supplying our desserts! The cookies were a HUGE hit - people are STILL texting us about the Oreo cookie!!! Thank you, Taylor Chip fam, for making our wedding day that much sweeter. The team was so easy to work with and was able to make the exact flavors we wanted, even flavors for guests with dietary restrictions! And they made them smaller so that guests could try 2-3 of the flavors! A highlight of our wedding day, for sure. :)

I was not leaving Lancaster without any treats! I found this place late evening on a Sunday holiday weekend. It was PACKED PACKED. I had to wait in a very long line but It was worth it to me. I found parking literally right out front as most people had i assumed walked to here. I unfortunately did not get some pictures id like to of gotten because it was so busy and people were trying to find parking and there were families with little little children all around so I was just trying to get in and out. It is a quaint old timey shop feel. It has chocolates in all the cases and along the walls all kinds of fudge and chocolates and candies and stroops to choose from while you wait in line. I saw a basket with 50% off stroops that were somehow not done right... they looked fine to me, so I grabbed a few. I also got 2 1/4 lb fudge packages for my mom and us to cut up and share. She loves loves loves fudge especially the fudge from the shore!!! So I had to try Dutch fudge!!! N it was as good as one could imagine!!! I got a stroop ice cream sandwich and you can choose from their wide range of ice cream options of what flavors you want in your ice cream sandwich. Yes a stroop ice cream sandwich!!!! Just when u think a Dutch delight couldnt get any better they added milky high point ice cream made right there in Amish country!!!! I also had an iced coffee and they used fresh ground beans right there that was steamed into half the cup over a half a cup of ice and added fresh cream!!!! Ugh my mouth is watering as i sit and write this review!!! 😩.... it was worth the long line it really was and the little extra time it took us to drive back to central Delaware that evening enjoying our Dutch treats as we drove the hour and 45 mins home in the setting sun 🌞 on the country winding roads!!! If no one has taken that drive just for some treats you are missing out on the simple pleasures of life my dear friends......

This cute hidden gem in Lancaster city is worth the try. Not only do they have amazing and exciting local seasonal ice cream flavors but they also sell a variety of chocolate treats and cookies. Their chocolate covered pretzels is one of my favorites in town plus their brownie sundae. Love this place!

Plenty of stroopwafles to choose from! Pumpkin shaped ones for the fall with pumpkin spice flavor if you’re into that. Plenty of other options if you’re not. I’m excited to try the salted Carmel! With chocolate dipped on both sides it’ll be a wee messy to set on my steaming mug but I’ll figure it out. They were out of dark chocolate pretzels behind the counter which was a bummer. Otherwise ample chocolates, ice cream and stroopwafel to choose from. Paid parking close by. If you have the app, it’s relatively inexpensive.

It's worth going to this place just for the amazing smell! 😀 As a bonus they also sell their stroopie waffles and amazing ice cream! They have a little bit of seating inside as well as a lovely courtyard outback. Thank you for participating in the Taste The World tour!

Great customer service! Server was fairly tall, light hair, name started with a J I think. Anyway, very friendly, gave me the best sundae. Hopefully he’s working if you go. Excellent spot out back!

They have the best ice cream that I have ever had anywhere in my life. Ice cream in fancy ice creameries at shops or stores, or even "Amish made" is nowhere close to their taste and quality. Let's not forget their drinks, well made and give no acne. Prices, good. Very fair and worth it.

Great spot for families and couples. Get a cone or sundae and sit in the back to enjoy the weather and the interesting flavors. Has dog watering bowls in front and back patio. Kids enjoy this place. Lots of couples come here. Walk up window with outdoor seating. Not sure if the inside is ever open. Quaint neighborhood ice cream shop. Prices have gone up as with everything. Nice to keep places like this thriving.

Me and the Mrs. had opportunity to catch the barnstormers game on a beautiful sunday afternoon and had a hankering for some local ice cream shortly after the game while we were making our way home. Since this smallish establishment was close by, we decided to give it a chance. Didn't wait very long in line but as we were waiting for our ice cream, a crowd gathered (this happens to me on occasion). There was only one person behind the screen who (capably) scooped our ice cream while we waited outside. There is no inside service apparently. She gave us a nice smile when interacting. We ate our IC on the back patio which was really cute and seemed to be well kept. We will return, hope for a short line again, and try some other flavors.

My wife, step-daughter, and I stopped by here after a day out shopping. Location is good but parking can be tricky but well worth it. Prices to portion sizes are fair, and very nice selection of flavors...the peanut butter pie with peanut butter sauce was AMAZING!!! There was a couple benches out front for seating, which worked for us, but heard afterwards there is additional seating in the rear! Great Experience!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We love splits & giggles! Always a lovely visit and it’s nice to support local businesses :-) I love the design of the building and the old fashioned vibe you get with window ordering and the stained glass images. Really impressed. I love having a little local ice cream shop that is clean and friendly, has decent ice cream, and has quick window service (especially one near Lemon Street Market ...makes for a great stop after biking around town or to market!) Kudos to these guys for running a great business WITH a great mural to boot! This little area of town has so much to offer with Splits & Giggles, Cabalar, and Lemon Street Market all within WALKING DISTANCE of each other.

I have to give it two stars. Maybe everything else is fine, but our Apple Dumplings were not completely baked - still had raw dough inside. Place is lovely and seems to offer many nice things. Service very friendly. But I have to rate it on my experience - this should not happen.

We stopped by Bird-in-Hand Ice Cream while visiting the area. The shop has a nice, family-friendly atmosphere with plenty of flavors to choose from. The ice cream was creamy and fresh, and portions were generous. Service was polite and efficient, though the shop can get busy at peak times. Overall, a pleasant stop for anyone craving a sweet treat in Lancaster County.

Breakfast and lunch options with upstairs seating or outdoor tables. The outdoor area is perfect for kids, with a petting zoo and a large play structure adjacent to the parking. We had good salads (add chicken for $2.50). Kids menus are simple (grilled cheese with apple sauce and a cookie). Pickles are large and delicious. Large selection of donuts on site. While food is affordable and simple, the highlight for a family is the outdoor opportunity for a long enjoyable outdoor lunch.

The coffee is fair and is free to refill. Staff are friendly and great place for families and kids. Goats and chickens and a big Tom turkey for kids to see

Delicious breakfast! We tried a breakfast sandwich and breakfast burrito. Both were delicious! The burrito was one of the best I've had, with a tasty southwest sauce to dip into. They have a great bakery and shop as well. I got a nice magnet for $4. Great place. We also really appreciated the friendly staff and the Christian music playing!

Nice bakery & creamery in Bird-in-Hand. Plenty of options and places to sit. We chose a 3 dip ice cream sampler for $4.50 to share and omgoodness, what a deal! 3 huge scoops in a banana boat bowl. So good! We sat upstairs. It was a nice little spot. Try it, if you are in the area!

An amazing surprise! Thought we were going to get ice cream from a stand. Insteed found a market, restuarant, gift shop, trainride, outstanding kids play area, farm animals and yummy ice iceam! Decent pricing wuth friendly service. Oh, small buffet and train overhead going around the resturant and gorcery checkout. WOW. They are part of the PA Scoups Tail. Yummy!

I brought my family in the fall for the corn maze and it was so much fun! There was so much to do and the maze was challenging yet doable. The food was yummy, the games were fun, and the baby cow was adorable!

Such an amazing family oriented place!!! We have gone twice now, each time trying something new. The buffet at the restaurant is amazing, the gift shop in the market is so cute, the ice cream is incredible, and the kids love the playground! We drive an hour to come here. Most recently we came to try out the barn train ride tour. We just missed the 7:00 tour, so when the train ride came back around I asked if she would be able to take one more. Without hesitation, she said yes and off we went. (After we paid for it). We were SOO thankful for this amazing woman. My niece & nephew loved it. The adults also had so much fun learning facts about the farm through out the tour. 10000/10 highly recommend.

I’ve ordered multiple cakes from the bake shoppe and I am always impressed by their work. They are always willing and able to work with our (sometimes very specific) requests. We recently had a cake done for my mother in law’s 60th birthday (wildflower/tea party theme). The picture doesn’t do it justice. There were sparkles throughout the design and the cake is always excellent tasting. I sent an image of a design we wanted to recreate and the cake that was made for us was almost identical. We loved it! I highly recommend ordering from them!

This place is a great stop. Groceries, ice cream, plants, a playground, petting zoo and clean bathrooms for you and your little one! When my kids were young it was such a perfect place to run errands!

I ordered a small cake and the bakery wowed me. They could not accommodate all of my requests due to the limited size of the cake but they found a way to include everything and the cake was stunning, so much better than I imagined! Thank you for your beautiful work.

We just got a cake there. The cake was decorated beautifully. It was moist and delicious. I would get one there again. The cost was reasonable, although I was surprised at how much "reasonable" is these days. It was a two layer for $55.

I wish there were more stars! This is everything you could ever want in an ice cream shop - nostalgic, beautiful, and delicious! The flavors were fun and exciting, but they have all the “old faithful” flavors as well. It was SO good. If we lived close, I would come every day.

The Strasburg Creamery was such a special place from my childhood, and I’m so grateful it’s been brought back to life! We hadn’t been in years, but since the local families reopened it, we’ve already been three times in just two weeks—it’s officially our new go-to spot. The service is outstanding—friendly, smiling faces every time we visit. The ice cream is truly top quality, made with real ingredients and none of the extra junk, which makes it a treat I feel good about giving my kids. Every flavor we’ve tried has been excellent! ( I especially love the meadow tea sorbet!) We love supporting the sweet families behind the revival and can’t wait to see what they do with the rest of the property. Thank you for breathing new life into such a nostalgic place!

Was looking for something sweet yesterday and since it was Labor Day i thought everything was closed but not this place! They had variety of flavors which one of them now my fav. , the carrot cake one and I also had their triple crunch , it was delicious, their waffle cones are also made per batch as they sell them , making the experience even better , I’ll definitely be coming back to try other flavors 🥰.

Where can I start! It was absolutely amazing to see the creamery resurrected and now even better than ever. Nostalgia aside, the new ownership has transformed the space and brought in a superior product! Having a local ice cream creamery that only uses natural ingredients with quality flavor is the “cherry on top” pun intended! The new owners are awesome and take personal pride in the product and the staff including Zach and his wife make you feel at home! Def love coming back for sure!

This was my first time to Fox Meadows. It was outstanding. The soft pretzel was sooo delicious. The ice cream flavors were diverse and really good. There was so much seating and they had porch seating as well. Even if you have to drive a bit it is worth it. Check it out.

I ordered the half cranberry almond salad and half pesto chicken bowl - both tasted good and fresh, and prices were pretty decent. The wait for lunch took a long time, but it was certainly busy in there. The ice cream line moved pretty fast, was a fair price for craft ice cream, and the mocha brownie flavor was delicious.

How can you NOT love this place? The ice cream is always top notch, but this was my first time getting lunch. This ham and cheese pretzel was amazing, and the fries were seasoned so well. Absolutely delicious, it’s no surprise this place is always busy!

You can tell Fox Meadows does their best to use only high quality ingredients, and avoids any unnecessary ingredients in their ice cream. My husband and I come to the bakery every time we're in Lancaster for incredible pastries and have had great experiences in the bistro for dinner. Most recently, we had our wedding rehearsal dinner in the bistro. We had the best time - the whole night was incredible from the food and drinks to the friendly service. We also ordered baguette sandwiches and desserts for our wedding day lunch and our bridal party loved it. Highly recommend Barberet for all things - breakfast, dinner, dessert, catering, or hosting an event!

This is my new favorite restaurant. Everything was excellent. The food, the service, and the atmosphere. I love French pastries, and this is the first place I have found which lets you order an assortment of pastries directly from the bakery. Most of the staples were there: a chocolate croissant (my favorite), a butter croissant (you can turn it into a kind of chocolate croissant with the accompanying chocolate sauce), and a baguette (perfect with the accompanying French butter and berry jam). I was surprised there was no brioche, but the raisin roll did not disappoint, even though I am not a big fan of raisins. The croque monsieur was cheesy and crunchy and I liked it better without jam. The truffle fries were subtle but delicious and only were not finished because the pastries alone were enough for two people. The coffee was simple yet flavorful, as is the French way. The tap water was ice cold and the server refilled our glasses regularly. Bottled flat and sparkling water are also available for those who prefer the true French experience. The dining room was on an upper floor and was reminiscent of a jazz club. The quiet covers of popular songs playing on the speakers were pleasant and the temperature was comfortably cold during a hot day. If we had gone for dinner and skipped the pastry assortment, we would have picked up dessert from the bakery on our way out. I cannot wait for next time!

The quiche was awesome and all the pastries look so good. There's indoor seating and outdoor seating area to sit with you pooch if you bring them along. Coffee, teas, jams, prepared meals and salads for a quick grab and go as well. Has breads like baguettes and croissants as well. The line moves fast.

The desserts look great here, but the important part is that they taste just as good! I liked everything I’ve tried here, but I would personally recommend getting the Azure if you’re a chocolate fan or the Coco Bomb if you like fruity flavors. There are sandwiches too, but I don’t think they’re as good as the pastries. I look forward to coming here all the time and I’m always happy when I do.

Barberet Bakery stands as a quintessential representation of traditional French pâtisserie, offering a generous selection of croissants, macarons, eclairs, and more. The service was impeccable - friendly and patient ( it took us a while to decide what we wanted). We took a raspberry tart, a raspberry macaron, and a pistachio eclair, each item was a true testament to the bakery's dedication to freshness and perfection. Pistachio eclair was recommended by owner as his most favorite and I can definitely see why. The absolutely flawless raspberries deserve special appreciation! Also we took an almond croissant and an apple turnover to go. And coffee was as delicious as everything else! Every item we sampled was superb. If you're in the area and searching for an authentic French bakery - this is the place! Barberet Bakery is truly in a league of its own. And just so you know it might just set an impossibly high bar for all future bakery experiences.

Review for the BISTRO: Fantastic food! We shared the delicious escargot as our appetizer served in a garlicky-butter sauce that was absolutely delicious. We soaked up the sauce with our bread because we have no self-control! The escargot came already "plucked" (?), lol, not sure of the term. I was a bit disappointed I didn't get to recreate the scene from "Pretty Woman" - and maybe that's why. Haha. They truly taste like a small perfectly cooked button mushroom. Same texture. Try them!! For dinner we had the beef tartar and fancy Mac and cheese with creamy béchamel sauce. Has a slight tang to it - really top notch. My friend had their special La piece du Boucher (meat of the month, apparently?) which was a tender ribeye with a garlic butter sauce on top. To end the evening we had their Moelleux au Chocolat (espresso coffee ice cream) and Crème Brulée. Phenomenal! Yes, prices lean toward the splurge-y side, but honestly? The portions were shockingly generous for a fine dining spot. I probably could’ve gotten two meals out of it... if I had even a whisper of self-control. Which I don't... Heads up: as of July 2025, they’re transitioning between dining spaces, so the ambiance wasn’t quite at its full glory. And service was a little slow (likely due to staffing issues like everywhere else) but we didn’t mind lingering over great food and even better conversation. Highly recommend if you're looking for something upscale with bold flavors and a Euro flair!

My husband and I make it a priority to try to stop in here when passing through the Lancaster area. Their pastries are unbelievably good, and haunt my dreams, lol. The green apple one is the favorite for both of us, and we feel that their fruit based pastries are their best, but you really can’t go wrong. Solid cup of coffee, too

OMG, so good! It's tucked back off the street. Invisible. We were wondering why they don't have big signs pointing people their way. I guess they don't need to - the ice cream is just that good! And huge portions too. But most importantly, really delicious ice cream using local ingredients. Love it!

Walked in with my cousin who lives in the area. I briefly viewed the menu saw Reese’s ice cream as an option and requested a Reese’s milkshake but with vanilla ice cream if they use chocolate as its base. The young lady helping us replied oh yea you can change it to how you like. Cool. My cousin ordered mint chocolate chip milk shake. I went to the car with my toddler while my cousin waited. When she got in the car and handed me my milk shake it was all white and I said this looks like a vanilla milk shake indeed it was. So I go back in. I was able to speak to the other young lady working out of the two and explain to her that I asked for a Reese’s milk shake and got vanilla. I was then told they don’t offer Reese’s milk shakes, it’s not even on the menu so she wasn’t sure how this happened. She was polite but I countered with I asked for a Reese’s milk shake and so when was I supposed to be told about them not offering a Reese’s milk shake before or after I paid ? Anywho I was offered Reese’s pieces to put inside my 8 dollar milkshake…. Also my cousins milkshake was milky…. I gave my 8 dollar vanilla milk shake to my 3 year old.

Well, leave it to Greco's Italian Ices and Homemade Ice Cream located in Lititz, PA to ruin a fun night out for my Stage 4 cancer-ridden mom. I would give this 0 stars if I could. (Note: I had the business name tagged in a Facebook post, but now the tag is gone. Also, the owner repeatedly kept tagging me on the Facebook post and gaslighting what really happened. Just look at the other reviews on here, and you'll see what I mean about his gaslighting.) To cool off, my mom and I went to Grecos's and ordered two large soft serve dishes: one vanilla and one chocolate. My mom tasted her chocolate dish, and it tasted bad and is unlike every soft serve Ice cream she has had in her life. She also noticed sand-like granules in her Ice cream. I also tasted it and agreed that it was bad. My mom couldn't eat it. It was DISGUSTING. I went back into the store and asked for a refund, and the answer was a flat no from the young female shift manager. I then asked if they could at least swap it out for a scoop of hard Ice cream, and she refused. I informed my mom they said no to proper customer service, and she asked me to obtain the manager/owner's phone number to talke about the situation because she can't hobble down the non-handicap-accesible steps to the store. I went back inside and asked for the manager (who the girl said was her,) and then I asked for her manager (the owner's) name and number. She refused to give any information and kept arguing that there's nothing wrong with the machine and we received what we ordered. What actually happened is that we did not receive a soft serve chocolate dish but rather bad-tasting Ice cream with sand-like particles in it. It is very bad. The girl manager called the owner from the back room, and he kept insisting there's nothing wrong with the Ice cream, refused to make it right, and informed the girl that they would call the cops if I didn't leave. I never raised my voice or was hostile. All I wanted was for them to make it right. The non-caring robotic attitude from the owner and staff are unacceptable. All of this over a scoop of ice cream.

Only one young employee was working during our visit, and she truly stood out — friendly, efficient, and doing a great job managing everything on her own. However, we were disappointed with the soft serve ice cream. My daughter's small chocolate cone had a sour, spoiled taste and a noticeably grainy texture. My vanilla cone was also very grainy, though the flavor itself was fine. I've visited many homemade ice cream shops, and this was the first time I've encountered such a texture in soft serve. It may be worth checking the machine settings, storage conditions, or the freshness of the mix to ensure a smoother, more consistent product. I’d love to come back, but I hope the quality of the soft serve can be addressed.

Greco’s is one of my absolute favorite ice cream shops. Actually it is my number 1!! Their flavors are imaginative and always premium results! I’m always excited to see what the latest flavor offering is. You can’t go wrong at Greco’s!

The rudest place i ever went too. I ordered a root beer Italian ice. Girl gave me blueberry. I said I ordered root beer She said no you ordered blueberry, I said no I didn't. The lady behind me even said to her he ordered rootbeer. She said no he didn't. Then I said I will eat whatever you want me to eat. UNBELIEVABLE

Such a selection! Wonderful ice cream and Italian ice, no matter what flavor you buy.

Tried La Petite for the first time a few days ago and it was an overall good experience. Went in hoping for an ice coffee but they were all out which I found odd in the middle of the day. Service was quick since we were the only ones being waited on. French onion grilled cheese had a wonderful flaky bread, fruity pebbles rice krispy treats were yum. Atmosphere was cute and fun, staff was okay, not overly friendly or welcoming.

Loved my visit to La Petite. The decor is all so cute, the staff are super nice and the food even though it's expensive, is amazzzzing. 🥰😋 I got the breakfast croissant with potatoes it was delicious! I also tried a couple of different kinds of macarons, which I loved as well.

Tried La Petite Patisserie for the first time after hearing so many good things and it didn’t disappoint! The caramel macchiato was fantastic and their pastries were also delicious (I recommend the Pan Au Chocolate Croissant - it was perfectly soft and flaky)! We will absolutely come again to try their brunch food! The decor and atmosphere is spot on (I adore their accent wall that is perfect for foodie photos) and the service was really quick and very friendly. A new favorite spot for us!

Food is AMAZING!!! They have a wide selection of pastries and the coffee is delicious. Staff is friendly and the restaurant looks clean and inviting. I highly recommend eating here! The breakfast sandwiches have the flakiest croissant I’ve ever eaten.

We ordered the glazed strawberry filled croissant to start and it was good! BUT it could have been unforgettable if it was slightly heated and the strawberries had been added after rather than room temperature. Then we ordered The Neil, a biscuit breakfast sandwich with egg, cheese, and bacon served with roasted potatoes. Everything had good flavor and I enjoyed the biscuit especially because it was buttery and cakey and out of the ordinary for any breakfast sandwich we typically order. Definitely would recommend giving this place a try as they have a good assortment of other baked goods, candies, and lunch items.

Edit review: We had a Sunday brunch and you can't go wrong with anything. We tried 4 different dishes and all came as 5 stars. Service, people family owned vibe, local, just a great place to spend a Sunday brunch or any other day. Macaroons are out of this world!! Don't miss them. One of the tastiest giant cookies in Lancaster.

I met a friend to try this cafe out. The atmosphere was pleasant and clean. We got our stuff for outside. As I sat my croissant went tumbling to the floor! The lady and gentleman sitting nearby told me to ask the server inside for another. I wasn’t sure but they insisted. Turns out she was the owner. She was so gracious and kind. Thank God because that was the most amazing pastry I have ever had. My chai latte was very good too. I will definitely be going back!!

The woman behind the counter would only give one flavor in the single scoop size instead of combining two flavors even though others have done it. They seem to have lost all of my loyalty points. Even though I'm due for a free ice cream better customer service is needed there

I bought a birthday cake that was mislabled as a Sprinkles cake. The cake turned out to be what my daughter called blank, just vanilla ice cream and vanilla cake - no sprinkles and nothing else. We did not enjoy it. I emailed Good Life about it three weeks ago. They didn't seem to feel that my email, including pictures of the cake and label, warranted the respect of a response.

I get a mint ice cream cake here every year for my spouse's birthday. The cakes are high quality and always get lots of compliments!

Amazing flavors, toppings and unique selections. And a bakery! I Love all of the different cone options too! I was too busy enjoying my treat to take pictures but I will definitely stop by again for more and hopefully it’ll still be warm enough to sit outside again. My daughter really enjoyed her rainbow sprinkled/white chocolate dipped cone, with cookies + cream ice cream, gummy bears, Twix bar, and mini marshmallows mixed in. Somehow she managed to finish her colossal cone and all of the variety of toppings. We had a blast :)

I ordered a birthday cake for my grandson on short notice and they were quick to respond and happy to help! The cookies and cream ice cream cake was a hit. It was delicious, beautifully decorated and my grandson loved it! I highly recommend them.

I loved the ice cream taco! It was delicious and reminded me of my childhood. The employee Sofia was very kind, you could tell she was a heard worker. My daughter was very indecisive and Sofia was great! She gave her ideas and went over the menu for her. We just moved to the area so we were on the hunt for the best ice cream place and we all voted that this was the winner! Thank you Sofia and Goodlife for the best experience. We will be regulars now!

June 2025: Lancaster Local Social Media raves about this place - I wanted to see for myself. Can I give them 20 stars? The owner, the service, the choices, the cupcakes, macaroons, & cakes are all stellar! The cupcakes are unique, of such excellent quality. The cake is light, airy, & moist. The topping is not standard icing - it's delicious mousse-like but firm enough to stay domed on top. These special little cakes aren't (in my opinion) for little kid's parties - they are for people who will appreciate the quality, care, & apparent love that goes into making each one! I recommend eating with a fork on a special plate! We loved every one in the assortment I bought - can't pick a favorite. Now let's talk about their "Dubai" Cupcake. Really hard to explain; but lots of unique filling & toppings. Decadent, Special, Unique - worth every penny! And their Macroons were extra special melt in your mouth with bursts of flavor. Be prepared to roll your eyes, smack your lips, and moan like Sally (in Harry met Sally) when eating all these delicious treats. You might want to wait 'till the kids go to bed! The owner, Martine, was wonderful & made me feel seen, valued, and like a special guest. And eating their decadent treats makes us feel like royalty. I am sure that they treat each & every customer the same way. Know that you can get a single cupcake for only $3.10. But also know, it'll be really hard to choose just one! Sorry to go on & on; but it's been a long time since I've been this overly satisfied with a retail establishment & their food. I hope you try them too.

I came here several years ago with my mom and have been waiting for the day I could make it back again. Martine's cupcakes are delicious, and unlike anything I've ever had, being that they're topped with mousse and not frosting. I can easily eat several in a sitting, as I just did after finally being reunited with them! His cupcakes are definitely in my top 5 favorite cupcake places in the US. If you're in the area, don't skip out on dropping by and picking up a few of these delectable treats.

I wanted to buy some cupcakes for an occasion and Google’d the businesses around me to see what my peers recommended. House of Clarendon caught my eye - not only due to the glowing reviews, but also the unique selections available - so I decided to place an order for pickup. Upon entering the business we were greeted by Martine, the owner. After stating I was there to pick up an order, Martine promptly got the order and handed it to me. Normally that would be the end of the experience, but Martine went above and beyond to explain the processes he used to create the various components of the cupcakes (the cakes themselves, the frosting, decorations, etc.) and went into detail the types of ingredients he uses. I’m a creator myself, so I appreciate when someone shows such obvious passion for their craft and takes time to educate others on their creative processes. Martine’s charisma and infectious adoration for his work were highlights of the experience, well worth the almost-hour-long drive to pick up the treats. As for the cupcakes themselves, simply put, they were incredible. Easily the best we’ve ever tasted, and by a long shot at that. Sit down when you’re eating them, or else your knees will buckle! It was a true pleasure to meet Martine, witness the love for his craft firsthand, and help out a local business that represents the best of Lancaster. I cannot recommend House of Clarendon enough to anyone reading this, they’re truly remarkable.

The cupcakes are the best I have ever tasted. I can only imagine what the cakes taste like. Such detail to the Dubai Chocolate cupcake. I may have to see about making overnight fedex delivery to Dallas.

I placed an order for my graduation cake with Martine a couple of months ago. We talked on the phone and he was so professional and informative in telling me the design process. I told him my vision and the whole team did amazing! As I shared my silly design with him, he encouraged me to share what I truly envisioned. He informed me what size cake I should get depending on the amount of guests, and if food was served, how that would also affect the size I should get. He was very funny and honest. House of Clarendon put their love and care into all they do, and it shows! The flavors of my cake were delicious and the design was amazing! They take care of their customers and I will be ordering from them again for future events. Thank you House of Clarendon!

I only leave reviews if I had an overwhelming positive.. or negative experience... When I tell you to get THAT CAKE! GET THAT CAKE! I have never ever came across someone as passionate as MARTINE! He literally is like family, and treats every customer as such! The staff is incredibly warm, friendly, and will go over every detail for the cake of your dreams meticulously! The best part is... ask question after question and you will be met with the same politeness and patience! And that is SOOO RARE NOW A DAYS! All this to say, if you're looking for the perfect custom cake for your next big event. Believe me when I say look NO FURTHER. This is family, not just your everyday cake shop.

Ruby's cupcakes are so delicious! For our wedding we didn't want to do a cake so we really wanted unique, gourmet cupcakes different from the normal plain flavor options. We chose Cookie Latte, Vanilla Cocoa, and Raspberry Chocolate. So delicious - we've been enjoying them for weeks after the wedding as well with our leftovers. Ruby even delivers and sets up the cupcakes so you don't have to worry about a thing!

Working with Ruby was an absolute joy! I was planning my wedding from across the country- which made it impossible for me to taste the cake ahead of time, but Ruby does the overnight shipping - so I got to taste from afar! I gave her full creative freedom as to how she wanted to decorate the cupcakes, and I was not disappointed. Ruby does beautiful work and her cake is amazing. Ruby also came and set up the cupcake table for me- which she did an fabulous job at arranging. They were so beautiful! I got 4 types of cupcakes for my wedding: Earl Grey cake with lemon jam filling and lemon icing Vanilla Cake with raspberry jam filling and raspberry icing Choc. cake with choc. ganache filling and peanut butter icing Coconut cake with Irish Whiskey Icing I had no idea what combos to choose coming into Ruby's massive menu of choices for cupcake combos, but she was very helpful in choosing these delicious combinations. My guests were raving about the cupcakes all night and only a few of them made it to see the light of the next day. I ordered 600 cupcakes for 150 people.... that is saying something. I would recommend working with Ruby for any event you have, you will not be disappointed!

We booked Salt & Light Pastry Co for our wedding cake and can't recommend them enough! Ruby was so helpful and responsive from the time we booked through to the end of our wedding. We had two different flavors of cake at our wedding and both were sooo delicious, we got a ton of compliments from guests about how tasty they were. There are tons of unique flavors to choose from (and they're all SO good, it was hard to narrow down what we wanted after we did our tasting), and Ruby was extremely helpful with helping my husband and I create combinations based on the flavors we told her that we liked. In terms of the appearance of the cake, she totally nailed it! That was one of the things that led me to reach out to her initially, and she totally nailed the vision we had for our cake. Don't think twice about using them!

We hired Ruby to make our wedding cake and hand held desserts for the reception. I had already tried many of her desserts from her stand at the Lititz Farmer's Market. Her macarons and sea salt chocolate chip cookies are probably the best I've ever had and now I can say the same about her cakes! She was extremely flexible and accommodating with flavor options and offered to attempt to make any flavor we could dream up. She also was willing to last minute add a velvet bow around the bottom of the cake to jive with our wintery wedding. To top it off she is super pleasant and processional to work with. I found Salt & Light Pastry Co through Instagram while trying to figure out desserts for my sisters bridal shower. Ruby was very helpful and responsive with all communication through the whole process. All I had to do was tell her color scheme/theme and what flavors I wanted and she put together the most beautiful desserts! Everyone commented on how cute and delicious they were. My sister can’t stop talking about them too! Highly recommend and we would definitely ask Ruby for future events!

I cannot recommend Salt & Pastry enough. I ordered a cake for my daughter's bridal shower and not only was it absolutely gorgeous to look at it was the most delicious cake I think we have ever ate. The guests couldn't stop raving about it! And there were not left overs! Ruby was awesome to work with! If you are in need of a cake for a special occasion, you have to try Salt & Light Pastry - you will definitely not be disappointed. We will definitely be back!

My perfect best-ever ice cream experience! Cute shop, step in & smell the fresh waffle cones being made! Lots of fresh dairy & ice cream take out products. I got 2 scoop waffle cone with butter brittle and butter pecan, it just doesn't get any fresher than this! We visited the dairy cows getting milked, and saw adorable calves getting bottle fed. An Amish buggy pulled up to the drive through window, so I went back in for a coconut milkshake & my wife got 2 gallons to go.

Ice cream is very nice and I loved it, however if you look at the ingredients listed on the packed boxes on sale, they have a lot of additives like yellow 6, Red 40 and Blue 1 for coloring; and corn syrup for sugar taste; and mono and diglycerides etc. I feel bad after eating it since it was advertised as home made ice cream, I thought I was having a healthier option for my family :( I specifically asked if the packed boxes have the same ingredients with the open ones they sell on cones, and they confirmed that they are the same ones. Side notes, they use vanilla extract in vanilla flavor if you avoid alcohol in your diet.

Hands down the BEST ice cream ever 🍦👏. AND the aroma of the waffle cones as soon as you walked in...Could not resist. The dairy operation there was fascinating, so different from what I’ve experienced. Jersey Cows are well cared for and LOVE the fact that they also have a drive-thru!!!

Lapp Valley Farm is absolutely beautiful. It's peaceful countryside views, friendly Jersey cows, and the best ice cream I’ve ever had! It’s so creamy and fresh, made right on the farm. We loved being able to see and pet the young cows (not the babies), but the curious, gentle ones. Such a perfect stop for families or anyone who loves a true farm-to-cone experience!

We go to this ice cream shop every time we visit Amish area. They have a variety of ice cream flavors as well as dairy products. The also do have some activities for kids.

Ice cream is always incredible and they let you pet the Jersey Cows. No restrooms that I could see. Cats that wander. Listen, if you want to pet the cows, they will lick you with their huge tongues. 😂

The ice cream is delicious. The smell of freshly made waffle cone hits you as you walk in (inspired me to get one and I was not disappointed). The grounds are beautiful and they have a nice porch to relax on as you enjoy your ice cream.

Known for their pies and sticky buns. However my favorite item was the apple dumpling. 1) Apple dumpling 2) Peach pie 3) blueberry pie 4) pecan sticky bun (Heat up the pecan sticky bun at home. The pecans are better roasted.) 5) unsweeted cherry pie (only if you like cherries) Grabbed one pie for less than $10. All natural, no preservatives.

I often have big orders of bread for different occasions! I order the day before to make sure its done fresh for what i need! Altho they always have fresh bake goods in stock but if you want lets say more than 4 dozen you probably want to call in an order the day before cause their stuff sells fast and theres no guarantee you’ll be able to get yours unless you ordered it and they have it ready in the back for you! Super nice and friendly costumer service and their bread is always top notch. Around Lancaster area, You know its gonna be a good meal when you have bird and hand bake shop make your dinner rolls (sausage rolls etc! ) for dinner! ☺️

The pretzels were the highlights for us, but everything was delicious. Homemade Amish baked goods and lots of treats to chose from.

Stopped in for a coffee and snack. Waited 10 minutes just to place my order, then another 10 minutes for the coffee to actually be made. Not enough staff working the coffee bar, and the system they use to make drinks after ordering is disorganized. People who ordered well after us got their drinks first. Coffee was way too sweet, but the donut was good. Overall, not worth the wait.

This is the 2nd time we ordered for pick-up. Pick-up was great and lady was awesome. However, we ordered 2 dozen sticky buns 12 with walnuts and 12 without. There was so much cinnamon on these you can hardly eat them. You literally choke on how much cinnamon is in these. You have to scrape off alot of the cinnamon to even eat it. Next time I will definitely say not alot of cinnamon next time. Shew....ugh.

I drove down to grab some buns for the family and when i got home I put in 20 minute on the elliptical to burn off the calories I got from smelling them during the drive. It was fantastic. I found the cinnamon roll with icing to be more balanced than the extremely sweet sticky bun, but you owe it to yourself to try both. Fantastic.

My favorite cinnamon rolls ever! They are SO good. The service is always super friendly, and they’re also extremely affordable. I’ve also had the pleasure of ordering these via shipping to a family member, and it was very quick and easy.

Best cinnamon buns I have ever tasted. One of the store workers said they start baking at 3am at this location. I can imagine the smell of cinnamon everywhere. We didn’t like the walnut sticky so much or the maple cream cheese dip. We loved the plain cinnamon buns. Just the right amount of sweet. They said you could freeze them so we bought some plain cinnamon buns to take home. The prices are very reasonable. There are places to sit and eat outside. Next door is some tourist information with a nice gallery of locally made goods and bathrooms.

The Walnut Sticky bun may be the most indulgent thing I’ve ever eaten. These guys could literally put Cinnabon out of business. Prices are very reasonable but remember to call ahead if you want a dozen or more!

We stopped in to get some sticky and cinnamon buns. We were very disappointed. They buns were served to us cold and when we went up and asked about it we were told that you have to ask for them to be heated up when you order them. She didn’t offer to heat them for us. We asked for napkins and they didn’t have any. Customer service needs some improvement.

Very friendly and nice people that work here. Like a mom and pop store that serves you pie or various food stuff. Lots of trinkets and crafts as well. A nice stop for a snack. No seating though, except for some rocking chairs in the back room.

This was my first time trying shoo-fly pie so I wanted to get it homemade somewhere in Amish country. It was really good; not sickeningly sweet like some gooey pies can be. The ice cream was good too. The coffee was just okay. Next door is an awesome vintage/antique/handmade store with two stories, full of cute vintage books, jewelry, decor, kitchenware, clothes, stickers, and more. I could wander around for hours!

It’s been around since 1946. Lots of Amish souvenirs to look at! We were warmly greeted and served samples of a shop-fly pie, which we ended up buying. Attached parking.

Several friends had recommended this place to me before my trip, and honestly, it exceeded my expectations ✨. First of all, their signature dessert, the shoo-fly pie, is simply delicious. I'd never tried it before, and in fact, it's what they make you taste as soon as you walk in. I later learned it's the most traditional dessert of Dutch Pennsylvania 🥧. The place has a small front parking lot, but there's a large parking lot in the back, which I recommend 🅿️. From the outside, the place is very picturesque and ideal for taking photos with the windmill. Upon entering, you realize it's not just a bakery but also sells all kinds of souvenirs, furniture, and home decor. What we liked most were the Amish crafts; they're simply beautiful, so we took several things home with us. The service was also very friendly and patient. We asked many questions, and they always answered us with a smile. Oh, and one more thing: the place has bathrooms 🚻. I recommend stopping by and checking out this lovely place. ✅

I loved this place, the have delicious pie, they also sell jam, sauces, and other foods of the Amish tradition, they have a lot of things you can use for gift or just souvenir. The service is very good, also the coffee was amazing. I totally recommend.

Any time I am within an hour of this place, I make the drive to get a cup of root beer and a shoo fly pie! I grew up experiencing the magic of this area of PA and now I get to pass that on to my kiddo. There is something so comforting about that darn pie! This time I also grabbed some delicious jams and apple butter and my son got a pencil sharpener that has a globe that spins on it he really likes. I love looking at all the unique wares and wood furniture here.

Cute shop with lots of cool and interesting souvenirs items, and came out with a delicious chocolate shoo-fly pie, I enjoyed every bit of it! Fun experience!

Lickity Split is an awesome place to eat! When we went out the service was super fast. They even asked us multiple times if we were still enjoying our meal. They were really friendly and made sure we had a great time. Their ice cream is also very good! I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a fun and delicious dining experience!

I stumbled upon Lickity Split a few years ago during my annual Amish greenhouse haul between Kirkwood and East Earl for spring-summer decorating plants. My Waze directions for our annual greenhouse haul include a lunch visit to Lickety Spilt. Have you tasted the signature Dill Pickle soup? You must; it's simply delicious. Lickity Split offers an extensive menu of soups, sandwiches, salads, specialty drinks, and desserts. Today's meal was a must-have cup of dill pickle soup and a small orchard salad in an old-fashioned ice cream parlor atmosphere. The ladies, Maria and Alicia, provided excellent accommodations throughout our meal.

I’ve been coming to Lickity Split for years, and it’s been amazing to watch this place grow and create such a warm, welcoming community. Every time I’m back in town, it’s a must-stop for me. As a vegetarian, I was stoked to see they’ve added three delicious veggie-friendly options—seriously, so good. It’s rare to find a spot that stays true to its roots while still evolving, and Lickity Split nails it every time. Keep up the great work!

First time visit. Nice sandwich shop. We got a turkey sandwich and fried dill pickle soup. All their soups are homemade and the dill pickle was something I'd never seen before so I decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did. The Dill wasn't overpowering and the potato base was delicious. The turkey on the sandwich was roasted. Turkey was moist and I would definitely recommend it. Next time I'll have to leave a little room for some dessert and ice cream. Also, if you're really not sure about the soup, ask them for a sample. They gladly let us try it before buying it

The atmosphere for this quaint place is as wonderful as the food, which is fantastic. Service is good, they make each order, so perfection takes a few minutes but always delicious and worth it. The ice-cream tops the lunch as a nice sweet treat...the servers are very nice and friendly. I highly recommend that you become a regular customer!

Not bad, nice staff and nice atmosphere but nothing super unique about food/ice cream

We went for the valentine’s special. It was planned so nicely. Service was excellent, food hot and flavorful. I appreciated that the restaurant was accommodating by alternating the menu a bit to align with my husband’s dietary needs. And the brownie and cheesecake sundae was absolutely amazing. Great job and thank you for making Valentine’s Day so special!

Boehringer’s Drive-In has that perfect nostalgic charm and has been around for decades. Even when it’s busy, you can usually find parking and an outdoor table. The chili dog and fries (which taste fresh, not frozen) were very good, and the local potato chips are a nice touch. They’ve got some really good root beer and birch beer, plus a solid ice cream selection—dense, flavorful, and not melty. The retro food and drink trays add to the experience, and the nearby stream with ducks gives it a fun, relaxed vibe. Highly recommend!

An old fashion summer eatery that's a local legend. Always excellent food. Incredible homemade ice cream. Wonderful staff and endless options for lunch. Lots of places to sit outside near a creek, meet local patrons, and pet friendly. A must stop on a summer evening in Adamstown, PA.

Oh how happy this place made me! Old skool down yo teenages serving at the window. Picknick tables near a little stream. Ducks. Families. So nice! Now! Food- got a "sloppy joe" and fries. Both priced very reasonably [$3.50? For hamburger bbq...or whatever they called it]. AND! FRIES- CRISPY and nicely salted. I finished up [2 hours later- came back] with a hot fudge sunday [4.50 ish] yum. Would 100% recommend you stop....go out of your way.

Overall, it was a nice experience. The staff were very nice and helpful. One worker gave us pretty big portions. Reasonable prices. The icecream was okay. It didn’t ‘wow’ us. It seemed it was lacking flavor. Cookies and cream and chocolate tasted watered down. Almost no flavor. The peanut butter was good.

This is a real gem of a place. The old-fashioned Drive-in restaurant has that perfect nostalgic charm and has been around for decades. The burgers and ice cream are simple but very good. One of the best places I stopped at in the area.

Best place ever if you don’t wanna cook really the cheesesteak is perfect. The fries are delicious. The milkshakes are great. The burgers are good. My whole family is gone there for 25 years actually I live in the old bearers ice cream house across the street. I love this place. I loved it ever since I moved to Adamstown on the food so good that people are so nice the environment the ducks the river it’s beautiful.

Cool bakery with delicious goods. They are known for their Long John. We bought a peach pie, peach donut and we also tried the Long John. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced. They have a few parking spots in front. I recommend going early if you want a bigger selection.

We love this place! When you go in, you can't just buy one thing! They are famous for their Long John donuts, but they also have a big selection of other delicious desserts and treats. Definitely recommend checking this out if you're in the area - it's a cute little shop with reasonable prices and won't disappoint!

Good food at the new restaurant and even have fancy plates that have a protrusion at the bottom to make it easy to spin your plate around.

This is my husband’s favorite bakery. They have a lot to choose from. Their eclairs are outstanding. A pumpkin cream cheese pie, cherry pie amongst many other delicious treats. We stop here each time we visit Lancaster PA.

The only long john bakery! Just the best for donuts! P.S. they also have local honey there! Made in narvon so just down the road! Great for fall and spring allergy prevention!

Well let's just say, if you didn't have diabetes before you get there, you will when you leave. Best pastries east of the Mississippi. Their cherry is to die for. You have to taste it to understand.

A great trip to this historic Ice Cream and food shop. Super friendly and service is top notch. Yes, they are always busy, yes, it is super worth it. We had the August special Carrot cake with French vanilla ice cream, and the Peanut butter cup sunday.

Excellent place to go with family or friends. Portions are large and fresh. Outside seating, as well as indoor. Very kid and dog friendly.

We ordered two burgers, a tex burger, three drinks and basket of fries and it came to $43. Friendly atmosphere and clean establishment but more importantly good food. Would definitely return when we come to the Mt. Gretna lake Beach again

This place is the cutest ice cream shop I've been too. Mt. Gretna's grounds are beautiful. The ice cream is a huge hit! I got pineapple upside down Sunday. It tasted just like pineapple upside down with ice cream on top. Would definitely go again and again...

This shop is in the heart of Mt. Gretna, in the little park, under the trees. The food is basic but good. The ice cream choices are amazing. The young people who work here are very nice and hard working. It's a lovely area.

I stopped here for a quick dinner on a Wednesday evening in June. I have been here a bunch of times prior to this and can’t believe I missed doing a review before. I usually don’t have a meal here tho, I typically stop in for baked oatmeal or cookies to go when I’m in this area. In this occasion I had the Turkey pesto sandwich. It was good. The bread was very soft and tasted fresh. You order at the counter then go pick it up when your buzzer tells you it’s ready. Their baked oatmeal looks like a muffin and is wrapped in plastic so it’s easy to just grab and go. You can warm it up and as milk at home if you want. I just eat it as is. It’s always moist and flavorful. They have a curry chicken salad that is good to. You can get that in a container to go from their small deli case. They also have frozen soups to go. The atmosphere is very much like a coffee shop. Yes, they have coffee too. It’s rustic and cozy. I have never been here when it’s crowded so it’s always easygoing for me. The staff are always polite. Prices are very reasonable compared to other similar locations. Parking is easy although there is only one way to get in and get out depending on which direction you are heading.

The cutest little cafe and deli! I don’t get to stop by often but when I do I’m reminded I need to make it a point to come and enjoy this place when I have more time. I had a delicious lemon poppyseed scone and an iced chai latte!

Pies pies pies! What an amazing place. Won’t be the last but certainly the first time I went. Staff is charming and welcoming.

We ordered cupcakes and cookies for our wedding at Brick Gables (upstairs) and they were phenomenal. Thankfully a couple made it home with us for us to enjoy after the wedding! All of my wedding meetings I would swing into the café and get a coffee and treat and all have been incredible. I look forward to coming here and trying more of their menu!!

Nice Bakery and Cafe with a nice assortment of baked goods and sweet treats as well as things like chips and sodas. The dining options are nice but fairly limited and focusing primarily on various soups and sandwiches and salads. Though when I came here on a Monday at 4:00 they were without soups which is why I gave it four stars instead of five. My pastrami sandwich was really good and well prepared and the homemade chips that it came with were totally delicious.

Fantastic place! Visited here while staying locally. The baking and the coffee is first class and the staff very friendly and helpful. I wish there was something like this nearer to me!!! We will definitely return on our next trip.

We came here because it's nearby and had positive reviews. The ice cream was not good. I had the triple dark chocolate and espresso oreo- the chocolate was just chocolate, nothing dark about it but not bad. The espresso oreo was terribly gritty, like straight coffee grounds instead of espresso or espresso flavoring within the ice cream. They don't allow samples either or this could have been avoided. I threw it away. I wanted to buy some market items with my ice cream but couldn't, you can't place an ice cream order inside and you can't pay for market items outside. Forcing folks to make two transactions is really irritating so I didn't bother with the market items and left them. Our milkshake was two inches from being full, and even though I obviously had my hands full already with three ice creams, I had to ask for a lid. It's my geriatric dog's last week and we just wanted to give her a special ice cream visit but it was a super disappointing trip and not at all worth $25.

What a fun stop with quite delicious ice cream! It's a working dairy - you can see the cows being milked right next to the ice cream order window. There are cute baby cows as well. Highly recommended stop if you are with kids. There's a little shop with local goods as well. But the highlight is definitely the ice cream. So fresh, creamy, and delicious. Worth a drive!

Hands down the best ice cream I’ve tried. The fresh dairy makes a huge difference. The buttery pecan ice cream was heavenly. Highly recommend coming here. Fun to see the baby cows too!

If you are looking for amazing ice cream served with a side of bad attitude, Pine View Dairy is your spot. We walk in, my wife politely says “Hi, how are you?” and the cashier hits us with an unfriendly “Yeah, what can I get you?” Strike one. I ask if I can try a flavor since I am torn between a few. She shoots back “No” and rolls her eyes like I just asked her to churn the milk herself. Strike two. Also, hope you like flies. Because they have them. Everywhere. Like it is part of the rustic farm to table ambiance. I get it. It’s summer. It’s a farm. But man they were literally swarming. We finally get our ice cream, say “Thanks, have a good night” and the same girl responds with another “Yeah” with no smile, no effort, just peak “I hate my job” energy. Plus, the small size is literally laughable. I think they used a Fisher Price ice cream scooper. I have seen more generous portions at kids birthday parties. The only reason this is not a one star review is because the ice cream itself was phenomenal. If they put as much care into service as they do into the ice cream, this place would be a ten out of ten. Right now it is more of a come for the ice cream and stay for the attitude kind of joint. The taste is the only thing that saved them. I honestly wonder if the owners even know that this type of service happens.

I won't even bother to describe how good this ice cream is. By far the best I have ever had. We also buy their milk, I personally can't tell a difference but my family swears it's better than the other milk. If you are there at sunset, you'll catch some great views right out the front door. There is also a little shop with some frozen items as well as snacks and baked goods.

We went to see COWS! There were several calves, about 2 weeks old, and they are SO FREAKING CUTE. Then we watched the cows in the milking barn, and one of them was licking my hand like it was candy (salt i guess). I. Loved. It! I have a video, but I can't upload it here...

We went there yesterday evening after a bike ride on the trail and decided to grab some food from here for the first time. We had their ice cream before and it was good! We got some dinner food also this time and it was so good!! We loved how the inside looked! And it was so cute when the server came out with my son’s dinner, it was in a vintage looking car food box! My son loved it. My husband and I also played a little game of uno while we waited that they had on the table. The staff there were really friendly and helpful! Our experience there was really good! Highly recommend eating here or just stopping by for some ice cream!!

Very cute place, outdoor and indoor seating. Huge portions of ice cream and unique flavors! The help however was NOT friendly or helpful at all. An older lady waited on us, we stood under the "ice-cream order here " sign for 10 minutes before anyone told us that you actually order outside at the window.

Very good ice cream and big portions! Price is reasonable given the portions. And they have some unique flavors. Great place overall and highly recommend it.

We enjoyed our time, and we are planning to visit again with several families. We ordered at a window and found some nice picnic tables in a little grassy area at the end of their building. I don't think that they wash the tables off very often during their business hours. Their portions are huge. I had what they called a regular "dog bowl sundae." I could not eat the whole thing. My wife and I should have ordered their "half portion" that they offered and shared. They were very fast, and the line moved quickly. They also have an indoor dining room. They prioritize customers who are eating a meal over the ice cream only, customers.

This place gives you FAR MORE for your money! HUGE servings of ice cream and the inside has a great throwback atmosphere! Come for dinner and get REAL home cooking then follow up with a Strawberry Shane Shaker or a Dog Bowl if you "Tbink" you can handle it ! EVERYTHING is good here and well worth the trip and money !!! Very family firendly and dogs get a special treat (but must stay outside of course?

I cannot wait to come back to Josephine's! Our server, Hunter was excellent; he was attentive and made sure to answer any questions we had. The food runners went above and beyond, instead of delivering food and disappearing they told us what their favorite meals were and made sure we didn't need anything before they left. The food was delicious with attention to detail that we appreciated. The drinks were tasty!

First, let me start off by saying how convenient they were, I was late for my reservation and they were so understanding I was still able to be seated. When I first walked in the decor was absolutely phenomenal beautiful aesthetic ✨👏🏾 Brandon was a phenomenal waiter, great conversation, great service down to the T, very patient, and respectful he deserves a promotion! And the food WAS TOP TIER I will definitely come back. Best steak I’ve ever had and the very best restaurant I’ve been to! Thank you Josephine’s for the best bday dinner ever ✨🙏🏾

My wife and I have dined at Josephine's many times and always enjoyed its excellent food and intimate elegance. In September, I phoned the restaurant to explain that I wanted to reserve a table for 11 for family members who would be having dinner following my mother's interment at Woodward Hill Cemetery. The gentleman who took my reservation over the phone kindly offered his condolences. When we arrived at the restaurant, our group was seated in a semi-private back room, I imagine because of the circumstances surrounding our visit. It was wonderful for our family to be in this serene environment in which we could share reminisces of my mother. The server was excellent. He projected just the right balance of warmth with gracious formality. He provided extensive descriptions of the specials (including price, which is rare and was much appreciated) and welcomed any questions about the menu. He took the orders of the ladies at the table first, which was a traditional and elegant touch. Of course, the food and service was excellent. The atmosphere of the restaurant, including its decor and photos of stars from the Golden Age of Hollywood, evoked my mother and her era even better than I had hoped. In the end, I felt that Josephine's had done an outstanding job in providing my family with an unforgettable evening that allowed us to gather in a fitting tribute to a great lady.

Our meals were fabulous (scallops and filet) and the service was absolutely outstanding. Thank you, Hunter, for making a special evening even more memorable for all of us. Our desserts (cheesecake and lemon meringue) were almost too beautiful to eat…but, of course, we somehow managed!

This is absolutely my favorite restaurant in Lancaster. We have been going there several times a year for the past few years. The quality and taste of every dish we've gotten there is amazing. Two of my favorites at Josephine's are actually appetizers - both the Chilean sea bass and antelope are excellent. But honestly, you'll love everything you get there. The service is excellent, and everyone is very friendly. Shout out to Hunter who is an excellent server and gives great recommendations.

A unique food trend that found its way to Lancaster… Rilled Cold Creamery makes not only ice cream you (should) be craving in front of you, but the waffles too. Seriously a fun treat, the experience makes it worth a try.

Not a scooped, but as the name implies, rolled ice cream. Coffee flavor was great. Diet coke is good. Nice little hideaway near mid town. Street or lot parking. Easy walk from hotels. Good place for kids and families. There are steps, so mobility for a wheel chair might be difficult.

We wandered up Orange Street and found this small spot for an afternoon treat. We had cookies and cream (duh) and peach cobbler. Half the fun is watching the ice cream being made…strangely satisfying and kind of soothing. Great flavors with real ingredients.

This was a fun little ice cream place we stumbled upon. They make and roll the ice cream right in front of you. Was fun and tasted great as well. If you’re in the area and want to try something maybe a little different give it a shot.

First time trying rolled ice creams in the USA. The shop is located at a quiet corner hidden and can be missed easily. The shop is cozy from inside and has a nice street view from inside. Good aesthetic for photo shoots. Their ice creams flavors are pretty much what you get everywhere, but the ice cream making technique is what makes them stand out. Service is very good and almost no wait time. I tried the red rose ice cream and it was delicious.

Very creative. The waffle cone was awesome…was able to eat it like a taco. Pretty cool. Would have been a 5 but it was pricy as smelled like dirty bathroom or moldy mop.

So delicious and unique! Stumbled upon this place when I google searched ice cream places in the area and had to check it out! The s’mores rolled ice cream (seasonal flavor) was beyond amazing and I highly recommend this place!

I’ve tried the caramel latte from here twice, hoping to love it, but both times it ended up being underwhelming. The espresso tasted quite weak, and the caramel syrup had a slightly artificial flavor. I honestly wonder if the shots are pulled fresh or if it’s just the type of beans they use, either way, the coffee didn’t quite hit the mark for me. The nugget-style ice melts quickly and seems to water down the drink, even when I asked for extra. That said, the café itself is spacious and inviting, with a great atmosphere for sitting down or getting work done. I might come back to try their food or pastries, but probably not for the coffee.

Would definitely recommend! We went around 3pm and it was very quiet. The atmosphere is very nice. There prices are very reasonable. I got a salad and sandwich combo for $11 with a drink and chips. I thought the food was delicious. Service was great. Would go back!

Scratch bakes has coffee and desserts, along with a beautiful seating space. It’s a good spot to come in the afternoon for a social meeting or a relaxing place to work. Acoustically it is a little echoey, but there is music that helps it from having a dead silence.

Sandwiches were strange, served on unusual flat grilled? bread; sort of like a panini. Service was too slow for nobody there, and sandwiches were pretty bland. Hash browns were tiny, thin and surprisingly skimpy. I wouldn’t order a sandwich there, but pastries are probably good.

My wife and I are sitting here right now and it is the most beautiful place. It knows exactly what it is. Had such a great breakfast on a nice cool morning. The staff is super friendly and the food came out lightning quick. It’s absolutely gorgeous! And the best news is that they have three locations!

I ordered a strawberry fields salad and it was excellent. The balsamic dressing worked so well and they give you an Generous amount unlike most places. The customer service was great. Very pleasant and friendly. I plan and need to go back to try other items on their menu.

This review is for one of the stands at the Green Dragon market in Ephrata. I ordered one mini coconut cream pie and half a dozen donuts. While everything behind the case looks amazing it didn’t actually taste that great. The pie filling tasted like banana and the crust was so dry it didn’t stick to the filling. Hard to even call pie. The donuts were either lacking in flavor or overly sweet. Very hit or miss. The worst part is the young man helping me (he must’ve been 14 or younger) charged me for a dozen when I only got half a dozen. I didn’t realize I was over charged by almost $10 until I was already home.

Love this place. Some of the best donuts I've had, but dont get roped into those super sweet and over the top donuts. My personal favorites are the glazed ring, sugar ring, and glazed chocolate cake. If you go early enough, you can also fine donut holes. The chocolate are the best, but they sell fast They are made fresh in store so if you buy a lot make sure to put them in an air tight container for the next day to keep them fresh! (Their may be a large dog there but it's friendly)

The aroma was incredible as you enter. The store was immaculate inside and out! The prices were more than reasonable. The donuts and pastries were DELICIOUS! This is a must go to! Staff was very friendly! There’s also a lovely Labrador outside greeter. A great way to start the day.

I'm from North Carolina but each time I visit my Mennonite family in Pennsylvania I have to get blueberry doughnut holes to bring back home to family and friends I have always gotten them from Sadie's Bake Shop but since she is no longer in business I was taken to Sunnyside Pastries and I wasn't disappointed at all. I placed the order for four dozen doughnut holes so they would be fresh and ready to pickup the day before I was leaving to head back to North Carolina. I also purchased some homemade bread and it was delicious also.

We were on a road trip through Lancaster County and drove past this fabulous pastry shop so we quickly made a u-turn to check it out and we're so glad we did!! They have a huge selection of fresh pastries and the young woman that helped us was so sweet and informed. They have donuts, pastries , breads- regular and sweet, rolls, sticky buns, apple dumplings, and pies! They sell full size, mini and micro size pies made with a huge variety of fillings! We were traveling so we couldn't pick up a ton , so we opted to bring a shoe-fly and black cherry pie and a peanut butter woopie pie for our road trip. Another bonus is the gorgeous sunflowers that are currently being grown on the farm on the property. We told our huge family about it and they will be here for more goodies.

Stopped to check out the donuts and pastries. Everything looked very good, but was a disappointment when I tasted it. There was a lot of cream in the donut, but no flavor. Sho fly pie was dry and tasteless. The glazed donuts dried up in one day, they were definitely old.

We have been ordering our families birthday cakes here for years and they always exceed our expectations. The taste, the quality and the artistic designs go above and beyond each year. Worth every penny.

Instipped in here on a whim. Bought the cookie bar....wow, too much going on with the bars. Extra thick chocolate chip cookie dough that's not cooked all the way with a layer of chocolate in the middle. So the outside is cooked, the inside is like raw cookie dough.....in any case I couldn't eat it. Too much sugar and too much butter going on. Some of the scones or savory biscuits looked good. Lots of people getting cakes here. There is a wheelchair ramp off the front and a drive up window.

Such an easy process to submit custom cake orders, and an incredibly helpful staff!! They truly are so talented. I am more than happy with the way this beautiful cake turned out.

We have always enjoyed the baked goods and drinks from Cake & Cup! And we were confident they would succeed in making a beautiful and delicious wedding cake and dessert bar for us. They made custom iced-sugar cookies, oatmeal sunshine cookie sandwiches, and mini chocolate-covered whoopie pies in addition to a beautifully-iced cake. They even worked with us in detail for where we would place our cat cake toppers. Not only did all of the dessert LOOK yummy, everything was a hit with our guests, so you know it all tasted great! Hands down the best bakery around! Cakes are stellar! We'll buy a cake just to eat, no occasion needed. Their matcha is the best I've had! We also love to get their iced sugar cookies! Everyone is always friendly and helpful. Drive through is really handy. We've ordered multiple bday cakes in advance and the ordering process is clear and easy and we're always blown away at the artistry when we pick it up. Love this place!

We're new to Lancaster area and we've tried many of the local coffee shops, but Cake and Cup has been my absolute favorite!! They have perfected their cold brew and the coffee flavor is immaculate. They offer amazing specialty drinks that successfully don't overpower the delicious coffee taste. They also offer GF treats!! HUGE shout out to this place and 10/10 recommend!!

This is a place that needs to be visited. If you're in the area or even passing by heck even if yours hours away and need a good road trip, this is the place to come. Everything you need, plus the best line of ice cream and homemade waffle cones. 6 different flavored milks. Everyone talks about the chocolate, but the strawberry milk is where it's at.

This is an out of the way gem,they make there own ice cream and it's so very good !! You ask for 2 scoops , you actually get 4 , there cone are homemade waffle cones it's smells amazing when you walk in . They also have there own milk from there own cows. You can't get any fresher! Also they have orange milk , strawberry , mint and chocolate of course . It's a Mom n Pop kinda place.

Delicious ice cream! Lots of flavors to choose from too! My husband was impressed at the waffle cones which had a fold at the bottom tip so the ice cream wouldn't leak, plus the cone was nice and crispy and stayed that way until he finished. ( At other places he's gotten waffled cones dripped from the bottom tip and turned to mush! ) We also bought some farm fresh cream line milk. They sell it in the old fashioned glass bottles. I've been trying to avoid plastics so I was happy to pay the deposit for the glass bottle despite the fact that we really don't live close enough to run there weekly. My husband uses it for his coffee and I use it in baking. It's nice and creamy! My daughters and grandkids spotted the candy isle. They have a big variety of all kinds including some of the older varieties that you don't find at a grocerystore.

You're stupid if you pass this place and never stop . Great family dairy store with amazing country charm. Milk in glass jugs! Need I say more! GET the chocolate milk! As one of my coworkers put it, it's like drinking a melted chocolate shake! Enjoy!

This is a local gem. If you know Maplehofe, you know the best chocolate milk known to mankind. They offer meat grown on their farm. Fresh eggs. Hand dipped ice cream. Freshly sliced lunch meats and numerous options to settle a sweet tooth. Family owned and operated. The Glick family are great people

Middle of a weekday and the ice cream counter is busy! When I get my milkshake I understand why. This is a perfect stop for a drive in the country.

Read the good reviews and decided to check it out this morning. Fresh cases were all empty. Picked up some dinner rolls and fry pies off the shelf and stood at the checkout for 5-10 minutes while being ignored. Finally a girl came to the register and said she would try to find someone to help us. After waiting a few more minutes we left. Absolutely unimpressed with the service and selection. Will not return or recommend to anyone. We’ll just go to Achenbachs for great service and selection.

Was next door at Kings furniture and upon leaving they recommended this place. We had no idea it was there but glad we went. It is more than a storefront. It is a full fledged bakery, manned by an army of amish pastry makers. I could not take many pics as they enjoy their privacy and frown on picture taking. The strawberry danish was the best I have ever had. Long johns, donuts, whoppie pies, sticky buns all looked great. The cream filling in the donuts was so rich and smooth. Much better than most places we have visited. This place is Lorenzo approved!

If you come to this area must try donuts here. Very nice place to have fresh hand made donuts. One of my friend visited and recommended me to go their. I went there to get donuts. The stuffs are friendly. They allow us to come inside and see.

If you are visiting Lititz, you have to stop here! It smells amazing as soon as you walk in, and we have loved everything that we’ve tried. Recently, we ordered a birthday cake and it was perfect! It was the most amazing pumpkin spice cake, and looked beautiful as well. We had a family member that couldn’t eat the cake but tried one of the macarons on top, and she said they were the best she’s ever tasted. Thank you, Chela!! 😊

My boyfriend was in Lititz for work during his birthday which meant I wasn’t able to be with him in his special day, but I still wanted to send him cake. Sweet Legacy has been a favorite of ours for years. First when Matt and Amy owned it and now under the ownership of Chela. Before we retired, we lived in Lititz and I worked in Lititz so I was a regular. Their caramels are the absolute best and I love the cashew turtles. I also am so thankful they have gluten free options. We now live over 200 miles away but whenever possible we get back in. I missed my chance this holiday season but hopefully when we come down the next time!!

If your in the area, you must stop in . I saw the marshmallows in the window and wow! I actually sell handmade carmellows at my place of business and these put mine to shame . The caramel that is wrapped around the marshmallow is to die for and if you try this you will never want to eat a store bought marshmallow again. I brought several back for coworkers and they all agreed with me . I should say, what make it back to work! I also grabbed a blueberry out bar for my breakfast and that was delicious also . I wish I had bought some other items from there so I could give a better review, but I’m pretty sure by the taste of those two items nothing in there would disappoint ! Even there bag was pretty !

If you are unaware, this is one of the most amazing sweet shops on the Eastern seaboard. You walk in, and are greeted by the overwhelming smell of buttery, sugary goodness. It's the smell of everything being made by hand in front of you, it's the smell of magic and quality, it is a smell that is sorely needed when you need that extra bit of loving.

The brownie i got at The Chocolate and Coffee Festival from here was hands down the best part of the festival for me. Absolutely phenomenal! I just I could have gotten more than one.

We ordered via DriveThru and got the Hot Fudge Sundae Brownie. My goodness this was so good! The vanilla soft serve tasted so light and creamy while the hot fudge and brownie blended in really well with it. The order has brownie bits in it and those brownie bits were soft and easy to eat. You can order in the store or go through the drive thru. We came a few minutes before closing and there was still a few cars ahead of us in line. After trying the Hot Fudge Sundae Brownie here, I can see why! I will definitely come back to try the other flavors once I’m back in town!

Rise Bakery always always always provides us with the most beautiful and DELICIOUS CAKES. Most recently they did my 2 year olds Birthday cake with vanilla cake and chocolate ganache in the middle so good everyone loved it! Not to mention the Toy Story design was perfect! The cake was beautiful and delicious! The ordering process online seemed very easy, but there was no confirmation receipt via email or calls to verify the order. I ended up having to call twice to ensure throughout the week to ensure the cake met my description and that it would be ready for pick up. That was the only stressful part. The prices were fair. Would use this bakery again if I'm in the area.

I have been going to the bake shoppe for cakes since my daughter was 1. She is now turning 5 next month. Also I went for my sons baby shower cake & his 1st birthday cake. The staff is AMAZING and they are always shocked at how big my kids are getting and they even remember my kids names. It feels welcoming to be there and I am so happy with EVERY cake they have done. I will continue to go there for every birthday cake and other cakes as well!

This is a great gem of a place. Modest business but the service is outstanding. The pies are very good. The coffee is spot on (Americano). Comfortable and relaxing.....pie and coffee....I thought I wasn't going to be interested but I like this place a lot! Indoor seating. Toilets. Outdoor seating. Dog friendly front side, with shade and places to tie up.

We recently visited Lancaster, and it was such a beautiful place with so many great spots to eat — but Lancaster Pie and Coffee really stood out. This little nook in the wall serves some of the most delicious pies I’ve ever tasted. I’m a sucker for peach pie, and they absolutely nailed it — perfectly sweet, flaky, and fresh. The coffee was just as good and made the perfect companion for my ride back to New York City. Can’t wait to stop by again next time I’m in town!

Omg, amazing! This is a must go to place! The pies were amazing. My favorite was the lime cream pie, perfect tart & sweet flavor, so fresh tasting. We were visiting from Atlanta and our PA family wanted to take us here to try. Such a cute pie/coffee shop. Super friendly staff. It just so happens our big party of 6 was at the shop on the owners birthday. We got to be part of the birthday video for her. Keep up the great work! Don't change anything.

My husband brought home a box of donuts from here. We’ve just recently heard of W Donuts. I must say they are very light & airy donuts. They have so many different flavors! I’d like to visit the shop sometime soon now :)

First of all, it is delightful and maybe dangerous that I can walk to this place! A very friendly man welcomed me in and I was immediately overwhelmed with the decision of picking which donut to try! I went for the seasonal pumpkin cheesecake donut and loved it! The coffee was great (donut and house coffee for $5.) and I was impressed with the amount of indoor seating space and cozy vibe. Looking forward to my next splurge!!

What a slice of heaven this location is! The donuts are simply amazing! The only issue with them is it’s hard to stop and I want to sample every variety - today!! The peanut butter filled are my favorites with the cream filled ones a close 2nd. The team there is as wonderful as the donuts, all great folks whom are customer focused. They have the patience of saints as I understand that often there is a line out the door from the time they open until they run out. So that’s the only down side at this time - they are in a very small space and the line literally is out the door. That’s surely going to change that as they are building a bigger retail space- that want come fast enough! Behind all of this are some really good works also as I understand that the owner uses the profits to do missionary work.

They have friendly and fast service. Half a dozen of donuts for $14 is basically the price of a full dozen at other bakeries (Shady/Achenbachs). However, the donuts are really amazing. Lots a nice flavors to try, they don’t go overboard with the cream or sugar and manage to capture the beauty and taste of each donut. If you are in the area and don’t mind the price tag it’s worth a try for sure! My favorites so far is the normal glazed, the blueberry and the maple donut! The bacon on the maple donut is so fresh and perfect with the glaze that just melts in your mouth!

Way bigger than any donut shop I've been to. Designed for you to sit and enjoy like a café. A big selection of yeast donuts. We got 4 different ones and they were amazing. Great staff and chill atmosphere. Love it here.

I kept hearing about how great the donuts were here so I thought I'd try it out. My friend and I both thought they were just average and also very overpriced. I don't think I'll be coming back. I know some people love them but I'm not one of them. I found the donuts to be chewy in texture and we agree that almost 3 bucks for a donut is too much.

My husband and I visited the historic Julius Sturgis Pretzel Bakery, America's first pretzel bakery since 1861! We tried their original pretzel, which was soft and warm, but oh-so-salty! Although we skipped the pretzel-making tour, the gift shop was a fun stop. Picked up a cute souvenir magnet for Lititz - a sweet reminder of our visit. A must-visit for pretzel lovers and history buffs! 4/5 stars.

Stopped in on the way home from Lebanon and was able to pick up hot freshly baked pretzels, chocolate covered pretzels with either peanut butter or caramel, and a pretzel magnet for our frig! Pretzels are not like the Philly style we're used too rather softer and doughier with what could be a wheat based flour? None the less they were very good and we're making them last a few days. I didn't have time for the tour but enjoyed to old world charm of the store, staff was super nice!

Took the tour here about a year ago with Kathy as our guide, and she was fantastic: enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and really friendly. The tour was short but informative, with plenty of interesting history packed into a fun experience that works for all ages. It’s definitely something worth doing once, and I’d happily stop back in for their warm, soft pretzels and other treats from the gift shop. The building itself is neat to see, and the pretzels alone make it worth the visit if you're in the area.

A GREAT tour! We learned a lot about pretzel making. I made a pretzel out of a pile of dough. I'm not sure if I could do it again. The soft pretzels available for sale at the gift shop were warm and tasty. If are in the area this is a must visit at only $6.00 a person.

We were in Lancaster County from Kentucky and just had to try a pretzel! Very cool atmosphere! My husband and I both got a hot pretzel and picked out some goodies to bring home. The pretzel was very good, however I would have liked to see samples of their mustard given with the pretzels instead of the Land o Lakes branded cheese.

Soft pretzels are one of my favorite things in the world, but I also love any pretzel really ... so when we decided to make a day trip to check out Lititz, PA, this is my top priority on the itinerary. The history all around the building in placards and given on the short and sweet tour were all informative and very interesting. Rolling and twisting your own pretzel was very cool as well. We spent quite a lot between ourselves and grabbing things for family in the store as well, because everything looks so good, and so far the few things we've tried back home have been great. Try the soft pretzel for sure! Being from Philly I've never met a soft pretzel I don't like, but theirs was very unique tasting compared to a philly street pretzel. Phenomenal.

I've done this tour before and it was great last time. This round was not so good. They didn't have enough pretzels after the tour to buy. (They had like 5 total) The tour guide was unintelligible, monotone and was barely enthused. She memorized a script and you could tell. While she may be nice enough, she's not cut out to do these tours. I would not attend this again if same tour "guide."

Fun and delicious place to visit!! I had a grilled cheese on sourdough with bacon and it was perfect!! The kids did not want to leave the playground! We also loved watching how the milk products we purchased were made!

Place was huge. Tons of seating and some cool attractions within in the store. The food court food was pretty bland; I expected it to be a lot fresher for the price. Not a lot of care. The ice cream was also not what you would expect out of a creamery. Maybe the actual ice cream spot is better but this wasn’t it.

Don't feel like cooking? Make a stop here and you won't be disappointed!! The play area for the children is a highlight to them, they can even try a hand at "milking" the cow.

Lapps is another on our "Lancaster Can't Miss List." We started out years back going to the actual farm, which was great and is still a destination, now we frequent the new location; same great ice cream and service. Can't testify of the other tasty treats, but if there as good as the ice cream you can't go wrong with any selection. This location is easy on and off a main road and has adequate parking. The building is charming and inviting and has a nice atmosphere. It's definitely something we'll visit every time we're in the area.

Wonderful place to stop and get ice cream. N make sure to check out their dream salts stand. They have pink Himalayan Salt, Amazing Himalayan seasonings, and more.

I just visited Lapp Valley Farm and I'm still dreaming about the delicious ice cream! There were many flavors to choose from, and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The shop itself was clean and welcoming, with a fun atmosphere. The kids love the indoor play area. If you're an ice cream lover like me, Lapp Valley Farm is a must-visit. I'll definitely be back to try more flavors and support this local business. Highly recommend!

We visited this location several times during our recent trip. Clean, we'll run facility. Let's start with cafe food. Generous portions of delicious food. Friendly service. Bargain prices. Ice cream is perhaps the best I have ever had, freshly made waffle cones for a delicious experience. Dairy selections od milk, cheese etc are fresh, great selections. Kids indoor play area. Clean rest rooms. Indoor and outdoor seating. Simply a great place.

I had the caprese sandwich on gluten-free bread to go. While I waited, I shopped for some chocolate treats. The staff are friendly and helpful. Everything was delicious! I noticed they have gluten-free ice cream cones. I'll be back to try that!!

We stopped by here for the first time and it was great! The ice cream was delicious and had a lot of unique flavors. And there are a lot of options. And the shop is large and spacious! - and they sell various other candy products from other vendors. Great place for ice cream and more!

This place has been nothing but phenomenal to myself and my loved ones. Between the consistent impeccable service and the friendly faces readily greeting the customers. They are more than willing to provide the best possible service to make your visit as enjoyable as possible. They also handle interactions with rude customers very professionally and with a very mature manor. 10/10 would recommend to all my friends and family.

I had the acai bowl. I liked it, but it did take some time for the acai itself to thaw before I could really dig into it. Otherwise, it was delicious. The place is really spacious, the staff were helpful and kind, and I'd recommend this spot.

Twisted Sisters has the BEST lunch food and selection of ice cream. Their atmosphere is welcoming and tasteful with plenty of seating. We recently used their event space to host baby showers on back to back days and they were super helpful in all areas including set up with Janelle checking in throughout the events! They made delicious soups and chocolate covered pretzels that our guests couldn’t enough of. Our events ran very smoothly and we will certainly be stopping back for lunch and ice cream often.

Amazingly creamy soft serve at a fantastic price, great staff and it's clean, spacious and has bathrooms. That's not typical of ice cream shops. There's also hand-made chocolates with a great assortment of hard packed ice creams. Highly recommend

Portion sizes VERY small. tiniest scoop of ice-cream barely filled up a cone..also ordered a Starbucks coffee milkshake - tasted NOTHING like coffee just watered down vanilla ice-cream- paid for a 20oz and they only filled the cup up halfway...young girls working - nice enough but not super friendly. Very expensive for what you get - will def try other local ice-cream places before returning here.
