The New Duff is a must-visit spot, located about a 30-minute walk from the port. Despite the weather conditions, visitors found it worth the effort. The jerk chicken bun was particularly praised for its well-balanced spice and fresh veggies. The guava duff and banana duff were also highlights, with authentic fruit flavors that weren't overpowered by sweetness. Upon entering, guests were greeted by the delightful aroma of freshly baked bread.
Me and my husband loved this place! Went here on our honeymoon cruise. It’s clean, close to the beach, and very affordable. Miss Sugar was more than happy to give us a little background and history on Duff pastries and breakdown the ingredients of what we were eating. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE FRENCH TOAST! (Caramelized coconut in picture) The drinks were refreshing and on the sweeter side. (Get less sugar than you think)
Nevaeh D — Google review
We came here with my French friends, place was reccommended to us, and they did not disappoint. The nice decorations, the island feel and you can see them preparing the dough out front. Cameron took our order, it was easy and simple, and it was a short wait before we got our food. Everything was good, but the best was the JERK CHICKEN for the meal and the guava duff here is off the chain. You get your money's worth, definitely recommend !
Eric B — Google review
I planned on visiting this place in Nassau and so glad I got to try. Purchased 2 traditional guava puffs and 1 tutti fruitti fruit tea and one mango. The cashier suggested it mildly 50% sweet so that's what I got but I should have gotten nice n sweet to my preferred liking. The guava puff was also freshly made. It is mildly sweet with a nice taste. Overall the total was $~25. I would have liked to try their filled pastries and hope I can next time. I do recommend this place and glad I enjoyed this experience
LostFiles — Google review
I happened upon this establishment via a cruise excursion. The duffs and the teas are definitely worth trying when you visit. Ms. B. is also lovely and their young pastry chef shows promise. ^_^
A L — Google review
Great price affordable!! Rarely do I give a five-star, but The New Duff absolutely deserves it. I had the pulled pork, egg, and cheese—seasoned to perfection. Then came the guava duff… OMG. The coconut French toast? Thick, flavorful, and top-tier. Drinks were just as fresh—I went with the guava ginger lemonade and it hit all the right notes. This spot is a gem. Don’t miss it.
Craig — Google review
Simply a wonderful place! Off the beaten path in Nassau, but well worth the trip. The food is fantastic and so are the people. Had the Guava Duff and it was incredible - fluffy, just the right sweetness, and the sauce was perfect (getting double next time). The buns are delicious, I will remember these for a while. Got the vegetable, jerk chicken, and ginger pork for the first 3 and then had to get the more (the curry mutton, and jerk chicken, ginger pork again). If you're in Nassau and want something other than tourist fare, make the trip here, you'll thank yourself.
Mathew S — Google review
The Fried Sugar Banana duff is just divine. I recommend it OVER the famous guava duff. came for the first time with my father for his birthday and we received free birthday shots and warm hospitality. The JERK CHICKEN and CURRY MUTTON stuffed buns (like bao) are so flavorful. I have a hard time picking one over the other. Pictured is the guava duff. we are everything else so fast we didn’t even think to photograph. that’s how you know it’s good.
Arielle R — Google review
Their guava Duff is amazing. They're hot. Sauces were exactly as they described. 50% heat 50% flavor. And the flavor was amazing. They're cinnamon rolls are gigantic. Love it all around

Ice cream shop
Ben & Jerry's is a renowned ice cream parlor chain originating from Vermont, celebrated for its inventive and playfully named flavors. Despite some reports of inconsistent service quality and high prices, many visitors appreciate the unique and funky ice cream options as well as the friendly staff. The establishment has also transitioned to a cashless payment system in certain locations. Overall, it remains a beloved destination for those seeking delicious and creatively crafted ice cream treats.
Ben & Jerry’s doesn’t mess around! Their staff is hard working, very charismatic and FAST! So you better be ready with what you want because it’s a fast moving line haha! The ice cream is expensive but it’s WORTH! They do add like everything else you buy a fixed tax and tip automatically which you don’t see and then ask you for additional tip. I do personally love tipping so I tip on top of the automatic tip but it’s not required. Ultimately you are here for the convenience and the experience, it may be your most expensive ice cream but it’s delicious! I love that you can use coupons here too, and it’s located in a cute area fun to walk through! We would come here almost every night as a ritual for 7 days, I would sometimes just come for the experience and not get anything to eat even though it’s tempting haha
Edis — Google review
Good ice cream and fast service. Lot’s of loud kids, but that’s pretty normal here.
Tj — Google review
I love Ben & Jerry’s ice cream. The ice cream was yum 😋 but the price is ridiculous. From the receipt, you can see the mark up plus 15% gratuity included. I don’t agree with making people tip, and everything on Atlantis is overpriced and tip automatically added. No kore ice cream until I get home.

Connor K — Google review
Ice cream is really good. It’s on average 12 dollars US per scoop. It’s usually really busy at evenings being in Atlantis marina village.
Steffen T — Google review
This place is always packed, and super overpriced for regular Ben & Jerry’s ice cream. They also never have the flavor coffee coffee buzz buzz. Checked every single day during our 7 day vacation. You’re def paying tourist prices here- but the wait can sometimes be 30-1 hour. Unreal! Ice cream isn’t as cold as it should be too.
Aleena G — Google review
Great ice cream! They have a very quaint location in the Marina Village. Service was quick so the long line moved quickly. Marshmallow Sky was a great flavor and was not too pricey. Overall, a great place for sweets that compliments the other restaurants at Atlantis.
Lucas — Google review
Stopping at Ben & Jerry’s in the Bahamas was the cherry on top of a hot island day! The shop was bright, clean, and perfectly located for a quick break from the sun. As always, the flavors didn’t disappoint—rich, creamy, and packed with all the goodness you'd expect from Ben & Jerry’s. We went with classics like Cherry Garcia and Half Baked and tried a few tropical specials too. The waffle cones were fresh, and the portions were generous—definitely worth the price. The staff was super friendly and patient while we sampled a few flavors (okay, maybe more than a few since we were there for a whole week and stoped there every day!). It’s the perfect treat after a beach day or while strolling through the resort. And honestly, ice cream just hits different when you're in paradise! Highly recommend for anyone craving something sweet, cold, and comforting in the Bahamas.

Main Street Ice Cream Parlor is a charming spot located in a bustling area. The parlor offers a wide variety of delicious ice cream flavors, and the friendly staff make the experience even more enjoyable. While seating may be limited inside, there are plenty of tables on the balcony outside. Additionally, visitors can browse through affordable souvenirs available for purchase. It's an ideal place to unwind with some ice cream after a day of exploring nearby attractions or shopping at the surrounding stores.
Favourite place for ice cream when in Nassau. Brandon suggested that I get the coffee ice cream which tasted amazing. He was very courteous and gave a great service. Highly recommend their fudge also. Must try

I just visited here in 5/8/24. The ice cream with some of the best food I ate on my whole entire cruise. I really the lady running the place. Definitely get your ice cream and sit out on the balcony and yell at Tommy across the street doing his dance! Seriously it's a must you got to try in Nassau!

Wide variety of items. Walking distance if you're at a nearby hotel. You can sit to a nice ice cream after shopping.
Racquel S — Google review
The ice cream is fine. My wife, infant daughter, and I went on a Wednesday afternoon. We sat down and were eating our ice cream, and at 5:00, we were informed that they were closing down. I thought not much of it, since I was aware that they were listed as closing at 5:30 on Googlemaps and I assumed she was referring to that. I stood up uncomfortably and said “at 5:30, right?” and she said “no, right now”. About one minute later, noticing that we were not moving toward the door (since we were not halfway through our ice cream), she said “he’s closing the gate downstairs now” (the parlour is on the second floor of a souvenir shop). She then turned off the lights where we were still seated eating our ice cream, and so I got the message that we were getting kicked out. “I’m just a bit confused because Googlemaps says 5:30.” She replied “we can change our minds anytime if it’s slow”. Now, this is a sound business principle, and we were the only ones in the ice cream parlour at the time. However, we were still seated eating the ice cream we had paid for, we had taken a load off from the stroller and our bags and had settled in comfortably to eat ice cream at the venue where we had purchased the ice cream… it felt super wrong. I’ve never heard of an establishment rushing to push out paying customers half an hour earlier than the scheduled closing time… we truly felt like we were getting kicked out once they abruptly decided that business was too slow to remain open for the day (remember they turned off the lights on us at 5:00 while we were sitting eating our ice cream). Suffice it to say that we will obviously not return, which surely this ice cream parlour situated above a souvenir shop in the tourist area of a beautiful tropical island won’t care about. But, maybe some of y’all would-be patrons will read and decide to prefer an ice cream venue that would decide to allow a small, weary family of paying customers to finish their ice cream in peace before hurriedly bouncing them.
Tim S — Google review
After being harassed by all the loud music and people pushing paper in our faces, we found this lovely icecream shop over a souvenir store. This icecream was delicious and the server extremely nice and helpful. Reasonably priced rum cake too - that I forgot to purchase!

Just had the blck forest/ chocolate cake today and they must have improved their recipe because it tastes amazing! It is possibly the best cake i’ve had so far. And the fruit tart was alright. Usually the pastries are iffy but the cake today was so good! 5 stars!

Always a pleasure shopping at the Swiss Pastry. The service is customary, the purchased cakes are always on point and the atmosphere is one that always wants you to come back. I recently ordered two cakes on a Friday for pick up on a Monday. The young lady there fetched my cake as soon as I walked into the store after serving a few patrons. I had to ask if she remembers all her customers. Have this dude feeling special. On point!

This place is now my go-to for hot patties and coconut tarts. They are simply phenomenal! You can tell that they take great pride in their food. Service is absolutely phenomenal. The ladies that work the front are so warm, friendly and attentive to their customers and their needs. They remember your name and your likes and favorites. I highly recommend them!

At the Original Swiss Sweet Shop the cheese Danish was so fresh complimented by a decent drip coffee, all for $5.50. It's more of a grab and go place, there's just one small table with two chairs outside, not really pleasant place to sit.

The Cheese Cake here is A+, this store does not have the appearance of a bakery and is far above the regular bakeries. The sliced cheese cakes and cakes are delightful, well decorated and very tasty. The store has a high end decor and the price is $$ for bakery standard. I did not notice any whole cakes like traditional bakeries and the the slices are some what expensive.

I had the most AMAZING experience ever. Let me start off by saying this is my first time on the island 🌴 I have travelled many places and have never encountered an experience like this one. Based on the google reviews, I sought out to get my mom a cheesecake from Cheesecake Heaven (it’s my mother’s bday and reason for this trip.) We took a bus, rather late and on our way back we were cutting it short to make it back to our hotel. Besides the eclair and DELICIOUS cheesecake (we got the macadamias delight 🤤) we ran into the owner, who offered us a ride back!!! because it was too late and dark to be out. It was the kindest and sweetest gesture ever, I cannot thank them enough. Jameel and Andy, I am forever in your favor. Next time I’m on the island I will make another stop. To anyone who want delicious cheesecakes, with stellar ownership, come here! Both the the service and food was delightful, again thank you! 💕

Pulpy Artisan Ice Cream in the Bahamas offers a unique experience with made-to-order rolled ice cream. Despite being busy, the staff provides excellent customer service and is accommodating to customers' preferences. The shop has a good selection of flavors, allowing customers to sample before ordering. Customers have enjoyed various flavors such as vanilla with peanuts, torched marshmallow, guava caramel with pecan topping, and more.
Stopped in for a sweet treat in Bahamas. This was my first time having rolled ice cream. In the US, all flavors are displayed with an option for sampling but in this shop it’s made to order. It looks empty when u first enter. First time so I thought it was interesting. The ice cream was good. We had vanilla with peanuts and vanilla with torched marshmallow. The peanuts were huge. The flavor was just right.

We visited while vacationing for our honeymoon! By far the BEST experience we had during our entire visit. All the employees were helpful, laughed with us, and kept us entertained. Very knowledgeable about the ice cream flavors, and actually talked to us!! We will be back!!
DeShawn B — Google review
I just tried to go here for an ice-cream. The buzzer for the door was broken and the staff really did not seem to want to serve us. They kept buzzing the door but the door didn't open. When the staff finally realised they'd need to come to the door to let us in they were extremely rude. I heard the ice-cream here is delicious but I just wasn't prepared to put up with that level of disrespect and be charged $7 minimum!
Clare N — Google review
Great hidden gem. Rolled ice-cream is delicious. Good selection of flavours, but not too many which was good. Friendly staff. We had vanilla ice-cream with strawberries and Nutella and also vanilla with guava and caramel. Delicious!
Adam A — Google review
Just walked out and the customer service was amazing and it was extremely busy. Even though it was busy they were still accommodating and even broke down to me how to design my own ice cream as a 23 year old 😂. And the price is not too bad considering the area.

This was my first visit to Pulpy's. Sunday's seem to be very busy. My son and I waited about 55 mins for our order. However, the wait was worth it. I had the Guava Caramel with pecan topping and my son had plain vanilla. They were both great and we'll definitely be taking the whole family next time. If you haven't tried Pulpy's yet, I recommend that you do!

The staff are friendly, the service is fast and easy. I'm lactose intolerant but this ice cream is gentle on my stomach. You can mix and match cereals and add a shot if you want. Great place to treat kids and for the adult sweet tooth. I love it here.

Oh Sugar Cereal Bar is a really sweet tooth treat. Never even knew they existed till a few weeks ago. So many options to make your sweet-tooth dreams come true. Pleasant customer service but on a busy afternoon, a team of 2 makes the wait time very long. The process to create the treats are involved and you can choose from a pre-set menu or create your own ice cream cereal concoction. Very unique treat idea in Nassau. You should try them out.
