The ice cream here is perfect for a hot summer day. The flavors are so delicious! They have a variety of them and pastries as well as a a baker that makes food right in front of you. I love the open windows and the atmosphere of the place. I would definitely come again.

The employee Camille didn’t use gloves to serve us at all, and don’t even get me started on the long, acrylic, unsanitary nails… It was disturbing the lack of awareness or training the employee has. On the other hand, the ice cream, and employee with the head dressing was great. Lively and sweet

Everything they make is great. The ice cream was awesome as usual. They even have a sugar-free version that was very good. I expect to pay a little more at an ice cream shop, but their prices have gone sky high. Pretty outrageous. We paid close to $16 per person for two scoops of ice cream. Nuts!!

Today I visited Kilwins on Armand Circle in Sarasota, and it was a delightful experience. The team, especially Stacy, was incredibly helpful and friendly—she definitely deserves a raise! The rich selection of high-quality ice cream was impressive, and the natural flavor of their raspberry sherbet tasted like they picked the raspberries fresh just for me. The waiting time was about 10 minutes, which was just right.

After many years of m visiting Siesta village, I stopped by and had the classic donuts. Donuts are fresh and come in various flavors such as cannoli, French toast and key lime. They were warm and a little too greasy for me. But they were good and went well with my afternoon coffee.

We had a turtle cheese cake mini donuts and the french toast mini donuts. They were both good and not overly sweet. The french toast was better than the cheese cake. I honestly think plain or glazed would be best, but I still need to try them. The french toast is not pictured because my fiance ate them before I could take a picture.

Well, since I got here, I kept hearing about the donuts have to have donuts. Well I’ve had donuts three times since I’ve been here. Donuts and coffee or a must do excellent. I’ve done cinnamon and powdered sugar hot delicious coffee is great.. I’m not big on donuts, but this place won me over.

The donuts were really great! We got a mix of the powdered and cinnamon sugar. 19 for $6 which is nice considering the quality and taste. We tried the iced coffee for $4 but it wasn’t that satisfying. It’s a pretty cute place overall!

Meaney's is a cool little donut shack in Siesta Keys Florida we ended up getting the cinnamon and the glazed. They were freshly made and so soft I thought they were really good. The girl at the window was sweet and nice she helped me decide what to get cause they do have a good variety of different donuts. 100% recommend!

I love these donuts! They’re so good! But this year (2025) July 8-12 week we have tried to get them from their stickney point location to no avail every time we walk up to the window regardless of how long we wait there is a be back soon sign. Been there four times only to find the sign. So owner of that location, your employee is likely taking advantage. Drove all the way down to the Village location, where I saw the sign for a sec but then was finally able to get some donuts! The manager (pictured) was so polite and kind. Thank you!

This place catches your attention anytime you are close. The shoppe is popular and ready to serve. The donuts are amazing and super yummy. Early morning is a popular time for people to place orders for donuts and coffee.

This location was still recovering from a recent hurricane when we stopped by here. The staff member was friendly. Some of the others in our group picked up gelato and some macarons. Macarons were good. The gelato didn’t appear to go over well.

Great location. Friendly service . Prices are $2.75 per macaron . Not all macarons are tasteful. Peanut butter and jelly is tasteless . Salted Carmel is very good. They have gelato and chocolate treats too. Cute pillows , tshirts and little gifts for purchase.

Stopped here while visiting on vacation. Was intrigued by it being all organic, everything made from scratch and no artificial flavors. I got the teachers coffee, wife got dulce de leche, both sons got vanilla. We all absolutely loved it. This was the best treat/dessert we had in our week long stay here. Business is clean and the staff was very nice. I am going to miss this place. This is truly worth going to and checking out. You will not be disappointed.

Best Gelato in Siesta Key. Let me start by saying that this is by far, and I mean it, the best gelato in all of the Florida area. I tried the Dulce de leche gelato and the pistachio, and I have to say that it melted in my mouth like butter. Wow. Such a tasty gelato, all made with natural ingredients from Italy itself. You can tell that the products are of the highest quality. I know there are other ice cream places around, but I can guarantee, that NONE are like this one. Worth every penny and worth the drive. I went straight there and don’t regret the amazing experience. I highly recommend.

Best gelato I have ever had! The owner was the nicest person, and she gave us a lot of history about how the gelato is made and where she gets her products from (all imported from Italy), so you get a taste of Italy in the US! My family and I could not stay away and got gelato every day while we were down in Florida for vacation! 100000/10 recommend!

I used to like this place, but it seems to have gone downhill. The gelato used to be more solid, but now is very soft. I think the taste has changed, too. It's not a flavorful as it used to be. Not that it was a strong flavor before, but it used to taste exactly like the description. Not anymore. A bathroom or sink to wash hands would be nice, but I guess we'll just settle for napkins.

Ice cream is good. But not sure if you guys realize that putting skeletons, bats, making a hell is not really friendly. Not to adults or children. When are you guys offering a place to rest, and enjoy, why can’t you offer a restroom. Usually hands are dirty after or when ice cream drop, especially with kids. Prices went up at least double in the last few years, but service not. Hope you see this and a change comes soon. Ice cream and no restrooms, that’s is a joke. No coming in October.

Went twice in one week, the first time we went the gelato was absolutely delicious, creamy and tasted just like gelato in Europe. The second time we went there was a notable difference, less creamy and more icey. I am giving 5 stars because the first day was delicious but they need to work on consistency.

Previously went to the 3800 S. Tamiami Trail on vacation to Siesta Key and really enjoyed it. That location is now closed, so I went to the downtown location at Ringling, which is a 20 min drive. As you can see in the photo, the doughnuts we got were extremely dry with almost no glaze. I called to see if they were day old doughnuts they sold to me, and they swore they were fresh. So, the picture shows their guaranteed fresh doughnut that tasted like a day old Walmart doughnut. I will not be returning.

OMG!! A REAL gluten-free donut!!!! Fresh, soft inside, with hard glaze outside - not overly sweet. Donut perfection!!! Highly, Highly Highly recommend!! The display of over the top donuts was so great and creative!! I had to buy a few of those for my family. Appreciated that the attendant knew to pack the gf separately. She was pleasant and professional. It is a very cozy space - no frills but clean and effective.

I’m so glad I spotted this place while visiting Bradenton for a few days. Pricing was really good, and I loved being able to see into the huge kitchen area. The staff was really kind and made my brother and I some great, much needed coffee. I really enjoyed the lemon old fashioned cake donut, as well as the blueberry cake. The traditional glazed donut was huge and a little more dense than a glazed donut would be, which I actually really liked. If you live in or visit Bradenton there’s no reason to stop at a chain store for coffee or donuts when you can just go here. I highly recommend it.

Great local spot with fun flavors and all the classics too. Fresh and fluffy donuts so you get a lot for the artisan price. Always friendly service too, and good location near downtown. We enjoy supporting local here, vs the chains (Parlor, Dunkin) that are lower quality.

Wonderful, fresh backed goodies to leave your mouth watering 🤤. I had the La Riviera French baguette which has chicken, sundried tomatoes, lettuce & mayo with chives. It was terrifically tasty. I also had the lemon tart which was the perfect combination of sweet and tangy. I love that they have a little outdoor area that is dog friendly so you can enjoy a day out with your furbaby.

The best croissants in Sarasota, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The owner/manager is French and so are the standards for any pastry they sell. We love buying their specialty cookies for different holidays and can’t wait to see their Valentine’s Day creations. The sourdough bread is of the finest quality and is a perfect alternative to the Bread Bandits’ loaves.

I was born and raised in France which makes it very difficult for me to give a good rating to “French bakeries”. Most of them are just pretend French bakeries and fall short of being half descent. This is not the case here! Rendezvous is a true authentic French bread bakery that has become my family routine for bread. I wish they were open on Sundays… great bread and great pastries. I never sat there to have breakfast or lunch but each time I come to buy my bread, I see the plates of food that look really appetizing. To summarize, this is a real authentic French bakery that offers delicious breads and pastries. The people who work there are really nice and friendly.

Sandwich is good, but we need to tell the waitress to toast the bread first. The meat inside the sandwich could be more generous to make it more to taste. Services in general are good. The lounge lead lady will not let you move the tables. Even the sittings are tight.

This is a recently opened family owned Sarasota treasure. Of course it’s foundation is French pastries. I would say they tasted good and were satisfying.Coffee beans appear to be imported from Italy. So, so glad I stumbled across this place. Very quaint atmosphere with what seemed to be a ton of regulars (always a good sign). I was pleasantly greeted as soon as I walked in the door and seated at a table right away. Everything on the menu looked amazing so I did what I always do and asked the server for her 2 favorite dishes. She wholeheartedly recommended the Salmon Omelet and raved about the quality of their salmon. But her absolute favorite dish was Le Croque Madame... toasted ham, swiss cheese topped with bechamel sauce and a sunny side egg. Since I could not decide between the two, I decided to get both... sort of. I added a side of the smoked salmon on to my order for Le Croque Madame... PERFECT COMBO!!! Loved every single bite... also loved their Eiffel Tower topped Cappuccino (see attached photo) And what do you get after an amazing breakfast like this one... pastries for all your friends. Had my server pick out her 6 favorites and package them up for me to bring to some clients I was seeing later that day. As soon as I showed up with their WELL BRANDED BAG in hand, everyone's eyes lit up and they all exclaimed, "I LOVE THAT PLACE" Check it out... I am pretty sure you will love it too.

Ordered a strawberry shake and it was rather melted but it tasted good. Since Florida is hot and this location is in a rather mobile area as I was it was hard to walk with it as opposed to a more solid milkshake The atmosphere was good with a nice inviting feel and the staff were very friendly.

This is really a tough review because how do you advertise you have churos but then say your out of them. If their that popular you would think they would have enough in stock so they would not run out. Besides that I will say the butterscotch bomb was delicious. Very good flavor. . If I knew they had churros and I was in neighborhood I might come back. If you want just good average cone and ice cream you will be happy. Service was ok. Drives me nuts watching people sitting there watching their phones when customers are in store. Overall I would not go out of my way to go here.

This place is actually good i usually expect overpriced subpar icecream. The ice cream is better than most and I got a great combination which made the experience even better. The selection is great and there are more desserts than just ice cream. Staff were very helpful and polite. The fat donkey on the wall adds to the experience.

Such a weird set up: you order and pay, THEN wait 30 minutes for your ice cream order; it's regular ice cream, nothing special, just expensive. The watermelon sorbet was tasty, the cookie dough was cookie dough, and the strawberry shake was liquid. I feel bad for the kids who work there, they need adult supervision. Good location and it's open until 11 (pretty late for a place around here that doesn't sell alcohol).

Wanted a place with high ratings/reviews and also had dairy free ice cream options. This shop had a line almost to the door which was a great sign, but I was disappointed with the service and the product. I asked the staff if the cones had dairy in them and they shrugged. Instead of looking at the packaging or labeling the cones might’ve come in it was shrugged off - not great. So in order the dairy free toasted coconut ice cream in a cup, and waited for it to come up in their queue. While I love a great homemade dairy free ice cream, as well any anything coconut, they was not toasted (well at least it didn’t have the flavor of being toasted coconut shreds). For a $9 two scoop cup of ice cream, I wouldn’t recommend returning, but perhaps the other flavors with dairy are worthwhile (what I saw wasn’t appealing with what looked like food dyes used for some flavors others ordered).

Regular ice cream, nothing special. Very slow workers. I bought ice cream, paid for it and then waited 28 minutes.

We had dinner tonight for the first and we were blown away!! The service was incredible! Our server Jan was attentive, he knew the menu and explained it very well, he didn't rush us through our dining experience. I will ask for him next time we dine here, he was great! The food... oh my the food here is plated beautifully and is full of flavor! This is the first meal that I recall not needing to add salt or pepper to. The calamari has the lightest breading that let's the calamari come through and the 2 sauces that come with it were delicious! My husband and I had the Duck Two Ways and the Bone In Pork Chop. Both were full of flavor and cooking perfectly! We couldn't leave without having dessert even though we were full :) We shared the Georgia Peach Cobbler. Yum! Perfect combination of sweet peaches warmed with the cold ice cream. Our entire experience from arrival til when we left was fantastic! We will definitely be back as there were quite a few items we want to try!

We searched Google to see if there were any Michelin-rated, high-quality restaurants nearby. Google didn't find any, but it recommended a few top restaurants in the area. Among them, Michael's On East was one we hadn't been to before. When we made a reservation, we found only outdoor tables, which were shaded by greenery. The enclosed sunroof, with twinkling lights and stars, provided an elegant and comfortable dining environment. The food is beautifully presented, the ingredients are top quality, and the chef's preparation is meticulous and thoughtful. Every bite is truly memorable. The restaurant owner Michael took the initiative to greet every table of guests, and the waiter Freddy was patient, meticulous, warm and friendly... The whole dining process was as harmonious and friendly as family. My only complaint was a mosquito bite outside. However, this didn't detract from the wonderful dining experience. Next time, I'll book a table inside. I look forward to a better experience.

Came in for the first time last night. We started off with the duck spring rolls and they were good. (I'm sure great I'm just not a duck or spring roll person yet I still enjoyed it) He had the beef Wellington and really enjoyed it. I had a bite and let me tell you this... You don't even need to chew it because it just melts. It was the most tender piece of beef I have ever had! The beef Wellington came deconstructed which was actually really nice since he likes his steak cooked medium. I got the sirloin and it was so flavorful! I don't normally eat all my steak when I go out but there was no way I was reheating this. My steak was al carte so we split some potatoes and creamed spinach which also was on point. Kathy was our server and she was so professional and patient as we didn't know what we wanted right away. We were also very indecisive and she helped us figure out what would be best for us. We are so thankful for this amazing experience and will be back.

We love the bar here at happy hour time. We really appreciate the experience and recommendation of Lara for the food and then Rick makes amazing drinks! The menu is constantly changing but honestly everything is delicious here no matter what you order you will not be to disappointed. Great place to go on a Friday night.

I've been before n why I was excited to see updated dining area. It keeps the same bones just freshened. To start, calamari is great. We also had tuna n ordered beef empanadas off the s. African menu. Those r big. I think the waitress wasn't really aware of what she was serving. There's no description beyond what u read on the menu. One empanada was way big enough for 2 n close to a meal size. She said order 2. Im pescetarian. Said i was particular about crab cakes, typical, like when trying on a dress at a store they all say they love it. She said she loved them n im thinking red flag, told my husband not to order for me butbhe did. As the case w the crab cakes on the menu, she was clueless as to giving any advice to a diner for food or wine. It was all mush in a very nicely fried packet. Myself n my friend tasted n couldn't eat n gave to my husband that eats anything bc he doesnt like waste The green beans on the dish were tasty. Why put oddly 2 mini.peppers on the dish. Strange. Should've turned them into a great relish or something. Very strange not put together dish w odd potatoes. Their sauces r good though. My friend said salmon was ok, he did ask specifically for a certain temp, not the full cook they usually do. The truffle pasta was bland n waitress forgot n then when came didnt know how to use the truffle mandolin/slicer for topping.im like, I have one n i can help u. She just didnt know n we felt bad for her struggling w it. Overall, prices aren't bad at all. Just bit disappointed w the food n maybe lil more tableside training w staff. I feel she prob never tasted these dishes n why should I b valuing her opinion. When uve had great service from those that know the menu n the chefs cooking. Oh my gosh, the espresso at the end...so sad. It was like American coffee in a cup. Its the only thing we sent back n asked her to make again n not run so long. If thats what they make, buy a new machine bc its not that hard.

Pastry Art Espresso Bar has a warm, welcoming vibe. The staff was super friendly and made the experience even better. The coffee was smooth and flavorful, and the food was just as good — fresh, tasty, and satisfying. Definitely a great spot to relax or catch up with friends.

Lovely experience! The brownie was soft and warm and the lemonade was delicious! The worker with the pink hair ( couldn’t catch her name) was excellent. She was incredibly nice and very attentive :)

I stopped in to get pastries for a few offices I work with, what really stood out was the staff. From the moment I walked in, they were warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. They took the time to explain the pastry options, made recommendations with a smile, and never once made me feel rushed. Everyone behind the counter was wonderful! Pastries and coffee are great too!!

The whole reason I come here every time I’m in Florida is for this pecan churro pastry. They are amazing and memorable. They usually sell out quickly.

Definitely a cute little bakery. Staff were very friendly. It was nice to pick their brain on their baking knowledge. I tried 3 different muffins each muffin was unique in their flavor combinations, but overall they were relatively dry which was disappointing. Their Crepes were quite tasty as they were the highlight of the visit. The prices were fair especially for the area. Overall if you’re looking for a quiet place to enjoy a tasty treat then this is your place.

Enjoyable, fresh organic cafe and bakery. The Chicken Salad Crepe and Organic Vegan Sandwich were two delicious choices. The staff was courteous and friendly, which made the experience that much better. With good weather, outdoor seating was full, with available tables inside.

Our favorite bakery in town! We absolutely love Ofkors, everything we’ve ever tried here has been delicious. They offer great quality food and healthy choices, and their coffee and drinks are always amazing. Today we had the Freddo Paradiso (strawberry and basil) and the Turmeric Bloom, both were absolutely delicious and super refreshing. We also tried the Vanilla Cherry Mousse Cake, which looked so beautiful we almost didn’t want to eat it! It had a light chocolate sponge base and a creamy cherry mousse, just the perfect amount of sweetness. We also had the Hazelnut Chocolate Trifle, with crunchy, sweet layers of chocolate and vanilla. Both desserts were incredible. We’ve also tried other cakes, cookies, sandwiches, coffee, and fresh juices on different visits — everything has always been fantastic. The bakery itself has such great vibes, modern, cozy, bright, and relaxing, with natural and healthy choices. We love the couches by the windows, perfect for chilling with a drink and a pastry. They also have outdoor seating if you want to enjoy the downtown energy. Another fun detail: they sell some coffee and mugs, really cute products, T-shirts, and sweatshirts, adding to the fun, welcoming atmosphere. Ofkors Bakery is hands down our favorite downtown bakery!! Always a wonderful experience, we will keep coming back. Five stars ⭐️ every time!

Absolutely obsessed with this bakery! I had the cheese danish and it was perfection—so good I came back the next day, but sadly they were already sold out (understandably!). We also tried the Pistachio Matcha Honey Cake, such a unique, delicate flavor combo that melts in your mouth. The fruit puff pastry square was light, buttery, and packed with fresh fruit, and the slice of what I believe was the Raffaello cake was soft, creamy, and not overly sweet, just how I like it. The bake shop is tucked away and super cute, just a short walk from the Westin. A hidden gem and a must-visit if you’re in the area!

Ikor’s Bakery is a hidden gem in downtown Sarasota! 💚 I’m obsessed with their matcha honey cake—perfectly balanced and not too sweet. My favorite coffee shop downtown by far! So cute inside, amazing service, very accommodating, incredible desserts, the best matcha & americanos! The vibes are amazing. Great place to come any time of the day and nice place to sit and enjoy.

Very yummy Italian gelato and milk-free sorbets. The sorbets are a tad too airy for me, but extremely tasty. Service was really good and fast. They have a few tables both inside and outside on the sidewalk.

But that's okay because thankfully, I still got to enjoy some cake! 😊 The design and artistry were simply magnificent. Every detail matched our theme perfectly, and the presentation was just stunning. It truly brought our dessert table to life. I ordered a birthday cake for a coworker of mine. It was a last minute cake option as it was 4 days prior to her birthday celebration and I wanted to order from a local cake shop. This was the first time I had ever entered the shop and I was highly impressed. The shop smells lovely, the selection is vast, and the employees are friendly. The employee that greeted me was able to accommodate for the last minute cake request (it was a simple cake with a simple design/message). I was expecting to pay a lot for the cake or even tacked on fees, but the price was very reasonable and no added fees. I was very happy with how the cake turned out (unfortunately I have no pictures of the cake as I was ready to dig in immediately). Everyone, including the birthday girl, had high praise for the cake saying "it was a delicious cake and very moist!" All that to say, thank you and I will surely be ordering more cakes from you guys in the future! ❤️

It was our first time today in the bakery. We came for a quick one day trip to town and my friend was highly recommended this amazing place. Customer service is awesome and the chimney cakes are absolutely delicious. We picked up a few to bring back to Fort Lauderdale and share them with some friends. When we go back to Sarasota we’ll definitely stopping by again and get some more. Thank you for the nice hospitality .. highly recommend this bakery.

Everytime I come and get a sandwich it’s delicious, the service is nice. The sandwich is super filling and yummy. We got the one with the burrata and the Hungarian, both delicious but I definitely would recommend everyone to try the Hungarian!!

The smoked salmon on aged cheddar and onion bread is absolutely mouthwatering. I highly recommend this little gem for either breakfast or lunch!

We were staying in Sarasota for 4 days and came here 2 of the days. The Hungarian sandwich was amazing! We also had the salmon sandwich and Eddie C's chicken salad. Everything was DELICIOUS. I made us make a special trip for the ice cream as well which was so tasty. 10/10 would come back here 100x over. Don't miss out if you're in the area.

We were in Sarasota for a long weekend for a wedding and stumbled upon Kurtos on our first day here, and it was all we could think and talk about all weekend!! We came back twice during our trip and I wish we could go back 100 more times before we head home in order to try every single sandwich on the menu. The Italian was phenomenal - fresh and flavorful. The La Vita e Bella was even better! But I think the Hungarian was my absolute favorite with such a unique combo of flavors you won’t find anywhere else. We also sampled the vanilla-watermelon swirl ice cream which led to having to get a chimney cone to go with it. To top it all off, the owner of Kurtos was such a delight. She was so thrilled to see us through the weekend and chatted to us each time we visited like we were all old friends. I am just devastated to be leaving Sarasota and Kurtos to head home, but will definitely make it back ASAP!!

Hungarian chimney sandwich satisfies hunger it’s as simple as that! Cheddar bread with Eddie’s chicken salad is best to be found. Hubby’s Turkey on everything chimney bread was delicious. Prices extremely competitive and fair. Vegetarian options and salads with kale. Staff are all friendly and want each patron to enjoy this great eating experience. Easy to find on main st, cheery decor, in or out seating choices, clean and shiny. We will be back for ice cream in a chimney cone!!

We ordered the Hungarian, the Italian, the weekly special (brie, jam, apple, ham) chimney subs and a Chimney dog. All were so very good. Then we ordered a New York and Orlando ice cream chimney cones, plus the caramelized sugar, sprinkles and cinnamon sugar chimney cakes. Absolutely delicious. Would definitely come back. Super cute restaurant on top of great food.

Visiting Yoder’s Restaurant brought back so many fond memories of the Amish cooking I’ve experienced in Lancaster, PA. This amazing Amish restaurant truly lives up to its reputation. From the moment we walked in, the aroma of home-style cooking filled the air, and there was a consistent flow of happy customers—always a good sign! The service was outstanding. Despite how busy they were, the staff was quick to accommodate and made us feel welcome right away. As for the food—wow. There were so many hearty, comforting options to choose from. The garlic grilled chicken, mashed potatoes, fried chicken, and chicken tenders were all perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. And you must try the apple butter—it’s the kind of homemade touch that elevates everything. Now for the desserts—what a treat! The strawberry and coconut pies were absolutely amazing, bursting with fresh flavor. With so many dessert options, it was hard to choose, but each one looked as fresh as the next. All in all, Yoder’s is a gem. Whether you’re there for a full meal or just dessert, you’ll leave full, happy, and planning your next visit. Great job to the entire team!

Meatloaf, turkey, chicken 🫶🏼💪🏼 The beef veggie soup of the day was incredible. Mashed taters and gravy were out of this world. Even the green beans were amazing. Our kids loved the grilled cheese, Mac n cheese and fries too. The pies were perfect. We got the cream pie trio. Peanut butter, chocolate and banana. They were insanely sweet and SO good. Also. Their apple butter is the best I'll EVER had in my life. Do it.

Very popular restaurant, so don't be surprised if there is a wait. Also seems a popular place for takeaway. Service is friendly. Food is hearty and plentiful. While tempted by the desserts, we simply didn't have room in our tummies to give them a try. We did, however, purchase some cookies which were greatly enjoyed later that day. On site, there is a gift shop/bldg, and a separate coffee shop with baked offerings. Worth the short drive (~15 mins) for from the interstate for a nice meal.

Absolutely worth the stop. I had been seeing this place on TV and stuff forever and I finally got a chance to stop through Sarasota and I mean the food was great. Nice quality. Everything was better than anywhere else. The waitress was great overall a very good place to eat and everybody’s food beside me just looked absolutely Amazing. The food almost won, but I was able to eat it all. And the pies and the desserts are amazing also

I have been going to Yoder's Restaurant for years and thoroughly enjoy each and every visit. The generous portions and delicious side-offerings make it a worthwhile drive. The fried chicken platter and smoked chicken entree are my favorites with mashed potatoes and gravy. Don't forget to save room for dessert...many mouth-watering cakes and pies to choose from.

Quaint, kitschy, very cute place!! Everything was of course super fresh, and made well. The roasted BBQ chicken was super juicy and tender, so flavorful and savory with a great crunch on the crispy skin. I loveddd it! And I had enough to take home for later (it was somehow even better!) while the Mac n cheese was super cheesy and well cooked, sides in general (Mac n cheese & green beans) could have been better seasoned. They didn't really have a taste. The sweet tea was spectacular. We tried multiple pies and they were all absolutely incredible, I can't choose a favorite. You truly can't go wrong! This place is definitely worth trying if you want something that feels like an elevated hearty, homecooked meal

How exciting that I came across a Der Dutchman in FL! The last time I visited was at the locations in Ohio. Delicious as expected. A not to be missed buffet filled with home cooked flavor. They also have a menu if you prefer to order. If you come between breakfast and lunch you will also get donuts! The donuts are soft, pillow-like and filled with various creams. Crazy good. This location has a restaurant, large gift shop, good size bakery, coffee shop and small selection of grocery staples. Everyone is friendly, everything is clean and its not too busy during the weekdays. We came on Friday and the theme was seafood! Fresh and fried. In addition, you get free soft- serve icecream with the buffet! 10/10!! I waddled away stuffed full of delicious food!!

We've heard about this place. My wife and I tried it Thursday for lunch....OMG!! The food here is awesome! As a kid I remember open face turkey sandwiches at the diners of the day- Turkey on white bread with mashed potatoes and gravy. Der Dutchman has it on their menu! Seriously, the most delicious restaurant meal I've had in years, and my wife and I go out every week at least once. Another childhood delish - My grandmother used to make Rhubarb pie, something you just don't find in restaurants or stores anymore. Der Dutchman has it!!! I purchased a whole pie to bring home. Besides the fantastic foods, this place has a huge bakery, and store. The service was top notch. This was so good and even though it's a bit of a drive, we (and all of our friends now) will be going back here.

Had a great lunch at Der Dutchman with friends visiting from Orlando and Fort Myers. We came around 2 PM and were impressed right from the start—plenty of parking, warm welcoming atmosphere. We all went for the buffet, and it did not disappoint! The hot food stayed hot, cold food stayed cold, and everything was fresh, clean, and constantly refilled. Great variety and flavors. The service was friendly and attentive, making our visit even better. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a hearty, home-style meal in a relaxing setting!

I highly recommend their breakfast buffet! Cozy yummy food my favorites including sausage, bacon, ham, cheesy hash-browns, whipped cream, fresh grape/ cantaloupe/ honeydew fruit mix with a coffee and water. The rest of my family loves the biscuits & gravy, donuts, eclair, oatmeal, eggs, yogurt & granola and fruit cocktail. Their gift shop is top notch also great for gifts you can’t find most places. Really great prices even in the busy season.

Der Dutchman Sarasota 7-30-25 What a good place to eat. We stopped by on a Wednesday about 5:45pm and this place was busy. It has a large Gift shop upstairs, Food and Bakery downstairs which my wife loved. There is an Elevator for those that cannot do all the steps just to the right of the restaurant entrance. Lots of items there but it’s a little pricey. I bought some Amish Noodles and sweet Bologna as its hard to get back home. Once inside the restaurant we got the Buffet, but you can order off the menu if you want. The Buffet has a ton of items on it, and you serve yourself. I will name a few food items on the Buffet, Ham, Turkey, Ribs, Brosted Chicken, Meat Loaf, Roast Beef, Smoked Sausage, Baked Fish, Salmon, Mac & Cheese, Gravy, Mashed Potatoes, Carrots, Corn, Green Beans, Noodles, Baked Apples, Stuffing, Rolls, Cake, Pie, and a huge Salad Bar just to name a few. There is something for everyone on the Buffet. They will bring you some Ice Cream to finish up your meal. The waitstaff was fast refilling our drinks and answering any questions we had. This place was really nice. The workers were quick and nice. We sat outside. The ice cream was really good. There's lots of options for flavors and a couple for the cone. Recommend coming here. 💕🙃 And it's right on the road with the shops where you can get souvenirs. So it wasn't out of the way, at least for us.

I’m quite picky about ice cream, but this place was excellent! I had Rum Raisin and my son tried the seasonal Pumpkin Swirl - both were delicious. Great texture, lots of flavors, and a perfect treat after the beach or in the evening 😋🍦

Visited 27Apr25:: My girlfriend and I love ice cream we chose this place because she loves Cookie Monster ice cream and I love mint chocolate chip. Hand scooped ice cream is the best! Got them in fresh waffle cone and bowl. Not stale or soft at all, def the best ones we've had. Lots of flavors to choose from. We also picked out two pieces of fudge, peanut butter chocolate and Twix. Service was fast, they def have it down to a science. We loved the seating options, inside or outside. Outside provided either benches or you could sit on their ledge and look out at the road or face the people sitting on the bench. We will def be back!

Lucca took our order and was very friendly, which I appreciate. We both ordered sundaes in the chocolate covered bowls and everything was excellent. Highly recommend! :-)

Excellent location on main street of Siesta Key Village with easy access via the Free Trolley. Indoor and outdoor seating options available. So many flavors to choose from. My favorite is one scoop of Toasted Coconut and one scoop of Rum Raisin...tastes like vacation!! Don't be detered by a long line, it moves quick and their ice cream is well worth the short wait! Enjoy!!

Glad we found this place, so many flavors, centrally located in the village, and the ice cream is delicious! It definitely hit the spot. There is an area in the front to sit and enjoy your ice cream, and they also have some indoor seating. There is paid parking nearby, and it can get quite busy at times because the area is full of eateries and shops.

Highly recommended breakfast spot! They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, with fast and friendly service. The hostess was especially welcoming—she even chatted with us since we were all from PA. I ordered the half and half special which included chicken and waffles and gumbo. The chicken and waffles with chipotle honey sauce were absolutely delicious. The waffle was perfectly cooked, and the chicken was tender. Gumbo was packed with flavor! The biscuits were huge and satisfying. If you enjoy mimosas, don’t miss the lemon blueberry mimosa—my first time trying that combo, and it won’t be my last. 10/10! The only minor downside was that some of the food arrived lukewarm, as if it had been waiting on the rest of the order. Still, I would absolutely go back and highly recommend this spot in the charming Siesta Key Village.

The Another Broken Egg was a pleasure to eat at. It was busy, so I would get there early or get your name in, and then u can come back. Parking in front gets taken up, so if nearby, I would walk and enjoy the day. Lots to select from on the menu. Everything pictured was delicious. Mimosas with summer heat just hit different. Recommend that you stop by at least once if you are in Siesta Keys.

My Honest Review of C'est La Vie I absolutely love French bakery-style coffee shops, and this cozy spot with its authentic French touch was perfect for a relaxed brunch. My go-to dish at places like this is always the *Croque Monsieur*, and I have to say—it was delicious! The flavor was spot on, the cheese perfectly melted, and the sandwich was neither too dry nor soggy. The potatoes on the side were a great complement—not greasy at all, with a nicely balanced flavor. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, just how I like them. The cappuccino was exactly how I prefer it—bold and strong, with that rich European touch. We were trying to find the restaurant monkey waffles and stopped a couple walking down the road and ask him if they knew where it was. They recommend it c'est la vie restaurant that they frequent often. They were out for their daily walk and suggested to follow the road to main Street and will basically be able to park right there on the street. We parked a short distance away from c'est la vie restaurant. They had tables out front that people were seating outside such as they have in Europe cafes. As we walked inside we were greeted by the employees and owner and facing the pastry display case in front of us. Everything look delicious and of course we took some French pastries home. But we ate breakfast outside at one of the tables. I had the half Bayonne sandwich and house salad with balsamic vinaigrette dressing. My wife had a sweet crepe banana, Nutella, strawberries and whipped cream. The food was fresh and extra ordinary, the atmosphere inside and out of the restaurant bakery was reminiscent of a good European Cafe and service was excellent. Highly recommend stopping by for breakfast, Danish we're going fast so I recommend getting there early. Parking was on the streets and you have to pay to park.

On our getaway to lido key we stopped for a delicious brunch . Had , a salmon croissant , and a baguette sandwich , fresh orange juice. And fruit tart with madame tart 😘 delicious. And freshly made

Wrapped up fun in the sun with some friends and the kiddos were in the mood for ice cream. After spending hours at siesta beach. We searched online using sources like yelp to find a place with great reviews and a place near the beach. Orange octopus ice cream came up. Our commute time from one place to the other was only 7 minutes. We get there and parking was dreadful. Parking space is slim to none. The timing worked out in our favor. The young folks did a good job welcoming us in with greetings. The space is narrow and intimate. They helped us order and gave us samples of flavors to try (upon request). They all were very patient with our group of 3 adults and 3 children. The restroom is kept nice and pristine. Since there’s no indoor seating, we sat outside their patio area, sat and enjoyed our treats. If in the area again, we be delighted to go back.

If you’re at the beach you need top notch ice cream. Look no further than Orange Octopus. There are plenty of delicious options to choose from. My favorite ice cream flavors are the key lime pie and the coffee. The ice cream is full of flavor regardless of which kind. You’re welcome to taste before choosing your next scoop. It’s worth the stop on your next beach trip.

Stopped in after dinner at Captain Curt's and man is this ice cream good!! I grabbed a sample of the Bourbon flavor and was hooked. I highly recommend. Clean shop, and friendly staff too. The strip has other shops and walkable options so it's pretty convenient too.

Great ice cream, but make sure if you are eating your ice cream outside in the heat of summer you ask for a bigger cup. The single cup is very small and they fill it to the max, which is great, but it also means when it starts to melt the ice cream starts spilling out the sides and there is no stopping it. I'm a grown adult with many years of experience eating ice cream and I looked like a toddler with ice cream running down my hand and arm. Ask for a single scoop in a 2 scoop cup.

Was just their with my pregnant daughter. She explained to them she had a nut allergy and got the sea salt Carmel ice cream! They regretted to inform her that it has pecans in it!! Nuts!! So, I tried calling to speak to the manager no answer! This is for future people with food allergies! So, hopefully this doesn't happen to anyone else!! 😡

Hands down, the best ice cream in town. Our family had multiple flavors and loved them all. Sea salt caramel is one of the best of all time. Definitely a must try.

The best pizza I will have in my lifetime!!! Seriously, the crust is amazing, cracker crunchy, sauce and topping ratio is perfection! We order the Margarita and the Viva La Veggie. Every slice of pizza will fall short of the goodness we experienced at this authentic Italian pizzeria. There were a lot of people coming in for takeout and a 15-20 minute wait for a table, all indicating good food, which was definitely delicious. The service, however, was awful. I'm not sure if it was just us or to everyone, but our server wasn't that good or even interested in us as customers and seemed to have an attitude. I had to ask for water, never asked if we wanted another drink, never checked on us. I had to ask the hostess to take the check.

Makes me feel like I'm back in jersey. Huge portions. Eggplant parm was delicious.

Very good pepperoni and cheese pizzas. Complimentary garlic bread served and all at table liked. Fettuccine also ordered by one person and they said it was very good and a huge portion. Interesting take on ice cream! Everything is made custom to order and the selections can be overwhelming if you are creating your own. They have a large selection of customization options or preselected creations. Overall not really my preference in ice cream and the waffle was very stale but worth a try for something different.

Waffle cones were a bit stale and the organization was just so off. But the ice cream was super good and worth it!

The peanut butter creation was great, and interesring to watch it being made. The ice cream itself was subtle in flavor, but the toppings really made it great so I recommend getting add-ins! Regular with waffle cone was almost $8 so a little expensive but good size and worth checking out! We had no wait (can't say the same about other places around!)

My husband and I first tried Sub Zero ice cream when we moved to Sarasota five years ago. It was amazing! When we got engaged a year ago, I knew I wanted them to cater our wedding. Our wedding was in April this year and the choose-your-own-sundae Sub Zero bar was a HUGE hit!! The guests kept lining up for more, and afterwards we received so many compliments – many people said it was their favorite part! The staff who worked our event were great, very friendly, and professional. When my husband and I served each other our first bite of ice cream (instead of the traditional cake slice) the Sub Zero staff blasted the liquid nitrogen into the air behind us and made for some really fun photos! So yummy! The texture of this ice cream is unlike any other.. so smooth and creamy, almost like gelato. Toppings and add-ins are fresh and staff is very friendly and informative.

Yum, yum, and yum! Lovely gelato place that’s easy to walk to from downtown St Armands or a nearby side street. The counter staffers were cheerful and kind, offering flavor tastings with tiny spoons. I chose to order a medium cup - three-scoop size - with the flavors of dark chocolate, chocolate peanut butter, and stracciatella (a milk base ribboned with Belgian chocolate). All were delightful, particularly the chocolate peanut butter. Smooth, creamy, and luscious, packed with flavor. Served with a small plastic shovel-spoon that has square tips on the end so you can scrape out every last drop!

Amazing ice cream. Although it looks like italian, it is in fact the argentine one, recogjized world's top every year. You will experienced an elite ice cream experience here and a unique italian ristretto.

Settimi's Italian Gelato is a good place for a dessert of gelato. The gelato is very delicious, as good as I've had in Italy during my recent visits to many cities there. My favorite flavors are pistachio, strawberry and cherry. The place deserves five stars, even though the prices are at least 25% higher than the equally delicious gelato in Italy. It's very good that there are a few tables available outside.

The ambiance and service at Lila were wonderful warm, inviting, and attentive. We really appreciated the chef’s effort to accommodate my request for a white cheese sauce with red sauce on the side. Unfortunately, the flavors didn’t quite meet our expectations. The red sauce lacked seasoning, and my husband felt the same about his soup. While we value the use of fresh, quality ingredients, the overall taste didn’t quite justify the high price point.

The vegan sushi here is truly amazing—some of the best I’ve had. The food overall is very good, and in the past when I dined in, I was very happy with both the service and the quality of the dishes. This time, I ordered takeout. I had checked the menu online and sent it to my wife so she could pick her order in advance. When I arrived in person to order, I was told that the item she chose was no longer on the menu. I mentioned that it was still listed on the website, and they acknowledged the website was outdated. It would really help to have the online menu kept current—it caused a bit of inconvenience, especially since I had to text my wife a photo of the current menu and then call her at work to finalize the order. I chose the Med Bowl, which sounded fantastic—and flavor-wise, it didn’t disappoint. The mix of almond falafel, quinoa, cabbage, zucchini, tomato, hummus, za’atar, tahini, and naan was well-balanced and delicious. However, the portion size was surprisingly small for $21. It came with just one small piece of naan cut into quarters and only two tiny pieces of falafel. (See photo) I expected at least four pieces, and even three would have felt light but oils not have propped this review. But two? That felt inadequate, especially considering the modest amounts of quinoa, hummus and zucchini. For the price, the portion didn’t deliver. We also tried the Macro Bowl, which was also tasty but similarly underwhelming in size for $20. On the upside, the blueberry cheesecake was delicious, though a bit pricey. Seeing as it is one of the few vegan deserts in town, I don’t mind as much. I’ll definitely return for the vegan sushi—it’s worth it. But I wouldn’t order one of the bowls again unless the portions improve.

Loooooove Lila’s!!! This is the perfect place for anyone of all food types from meat eaters to vegans to gluten free connoisseurs. From start to finish, every single dish we ordered exceeded our expectations. The flavors were exquisite, unique, one of a kind! I really liked the space- well lit, nice pictures of greenery and earthy tones. Felt like I was in a farm to table restaurant. The bread & crab cake starters were so good. There was a variety of sushi to choose from, all vegan and gluten free. Highly suggest the mushroom spider roll- crunchy, soft textures and the spicy mayo wasn’t too spicy. The Med bowl had some of the most tender chicken with a very smooth & creamy sauce, soft falafel with a light crunchy coating, & spiced hummus with naan bread. I really liked the iced berry tea, my parents loved the Malbec wine & Belgian ale. To seal the deal, we got the chocolate mousse cake which made everyone speechless- it was rich in chocolate while also light and a nice touch with the fresh raspberries to give your mouth a full firework experience. Liz our server was delightful. Extremely patient, helpful, gave us some great suggestions for what to order, & checked on us in the midst of a very busy night. I was visiting but I’ll definitely come back in town to check this place out again!!

Walked in for lunch, had the ravioli and roasted yams-they were served after the main dish and undercooked. Friend had burger, said it was ok. Service was just ok, not attentive.

We ate here this weekend Afternoon and they were not busy. we had the Caesar salad, The Mediterranean bowl, The homemade bread and a bison burger. The bison river was very good. Unfortunately, the Caesar salad and the bowl were not. The homemade bread was seven dollars and it tasted more like flour and water put together.I ordered A side of mushrooms with the Caesar. It was mostly kale, and very few pieces of romaine. There was no cheese whatsoever.There was a tablespoon of mushrooms on top. They were so salty! And they were An extra $9!!!! The large Mediterranean bowl was tiny. It also had a tremendous amount of kale and again the mushrooms were so salty. We could not eat it. The server was in, sincerely, nice to begin with. And not very attentive. At the end of the meal, which was not finished except for the burger, we told her that the mushrooms were incredibly salty and we couldn’t eat them. She immediately caught an attitude and said we should’ve told her when she asked us how it was. She went back and complained to the kitchen. No apologies nor offers to make it right. Furthermore, without drinks our bill was over $75. We were two stores down the sidewalk when she came after And said that we had shorted her $20. We said no, we didn’t, and she come through the bills again and saw that we were correct. She was very rude. I’m not sure how this restaurant has so many stars. Portions were small and not good at all.

This is one of the nicer restaurants that has some pretty good vegan and vegetarian options. Howver, they changed the menu recently and I'm so sad about it! Please bring back the original mushroom cheeseburger, the big salad, and the sushi!! Service is always really good.

There are so many good breakfast spots in Sarasota and Oasis is in the top 5 in my opinion. The food is fresh, the menu is creative, the specials are … well special. They have gluten free options Everything I have had here is outstanding and it has become one of our goto breakfast spot. They also serve what I believe is the best Huevos Rancheros in town. It’s def a creative interpretation of the dish but is absolutely delicious Highly recommended.

We stopped in here to pick up a sandwich on the way to the beach. Food was great and the owner went above and beyond to get us organized! Really cute place—if we visit Sarasota again we would want to try the Bloody Mary’s!

Pricey place. Omelet was good potatoes (home fries) could have more and cooked more. Coffee was good. Service was great food in a timely manner. I wouldn't rave about the place. I will try it again if in the area.

A restaurant in a small strip mall. Our two meals were breakfasts. One a traditional specially made omelette and the other called a breakfast sundae with yogurt, granola and fresh fruit. Both delicious. This restaurant was clean and has limited seating outside facing the parking lot. The staff was a little brusque though but efficient.

Drive thru, asked for oreos and hot fudge on ice cream. Was given just vanilla ice cream. Got home and burger was made wrong asked for no tomatoes and they added bacon and tomato

Been to this location 100’s of times in the past but they have let it go I will not be back. Twice in one week I’ve had my order messed up 3 days ago I went in for an order of 2 double butter burgers I then specified that I want nothing but meat cheese and pickles. I wait for my order pick it up and leave get to work and what do I know my order has mayo all over it. I never asked for it but there it is. I wipe it off and eat my burgers. Today I go in and ask for 2 sourdough melts with nothing on them just plain meat and cheese no onion I got to work and what’s the first thing I see the second I unwrap the burger grilled onion caked into the cheese making it so that I can’t take them off without destroying the burger. I will not be back to this location until the staff and management team learn to follow the orders that they take.

I'm gluten intolerant, I ordered at the counter, and they give you a number, then they take the food to your table. The food arrived incomplete, only half, I had to get back up 3 times to the counter to get tartar sauce, ketchup, and napkins, because the service station was empty. The gluten free bread was wet, and disintegrate while I was eating. Good concept, but absolute disorder.

We were heading from the beach back to our rental and craved ice cream. Thanks to Google reviews on this place being very high we chose to stop here. We got a house free scoop because it was ‘National Ice Cream Day’, but we both chose a small serving of ice cream. This place is fun and unique - they pump out liquid mix (several options available) and add flavor and whatever mix ins you choose and then blast the mixing bowl with liquid nitrogen which freezes the mix as they mix it up and it forms the soft ice cream in front of your eyes! Super cool (literally) and a great way to talk science and have a treat at the same time! The service was AMAZING - the young lady serving and preparing the treats was very good at her job, friendly and welcoming and answered our questions with a big smile - you can tell it is a sound work environment there. Would definitely stop by again when we’re in the Sarasota area!

My son has an egg and peanut allergy and the girl (she has blue/green hair on the ends, i didnt catch her name) was absolutely incredible giving us all the options that my son could have and accommodating his allergies with a fresh scoop and bowls. This place is a hidden gem on the Sarasota strip. The fozen yogurt is of very high quality, and very creamy. It tastes alot like ice cream. The toppings are fresh and you can definitely taste it. The people here are really friendly. I highly recommend the Sweet Coconut with with a mix of berries, that's kind of my "go-to* frozen treat here. The price is a little on the high end but the taste is worth it. Give them a try!

I tried the sugar free chocolate frozen yogurt. Was so excited to find a xylitol sweetened yogurt but was sadly disappointed with how overly sweet it was. I got the kiddie size thankfully but noticed when I was eating it how deceptive the size of the container is as the middle goes up in the inside so they don’t actually give you as much as they should. I’m giving two stars because the girl who served me was super friendly & kind.

Disappointed that this location has false advertizing about their opening hours. This location does not open at 10 as it says online. This is the second time it has happened to me and the employees inside the shop have done nothing about it. It is sad to me that such a good smoothie place has such crappy hours.

My first time dining in. Have gotten great biscuits and gravy at takeout before today. (And they were amazing.) Today's dine in deserves 10+ stars. Chicken and waffles today were beyond delicious. Without a doubt the best fried chicken in the area. Just enough light breading on the chicken for crispness and flavor. Waffles with strawberry butter made it even tastier. My server Amy B definitely made a table for one dine in customer feel extremely welcome and comfortable. Even made great menu suggestions right down to the best way to reheat the leftovers. And with so much food there definitely was a doggie bag. Atmosphere was nice and I was greeted at the door and thanked as I was leaving. I appreciated having the manager make a customer service check at my table during my meal. You won't be disappointed. Food, service and welcoming atmosphere are the best.

Wow wow wow this place was great! Highly recommend eating here instead of crowded downtown or St. Armond’s Square. The chicken and waffles is huge (covered the entire average-sized plate it was served on) and the waffle was so delicious!! It was light and fluffy and kinda just melts in your mouth. My husband got the breakfast burger and had high praises for it as well; he loved the meat in particular, as it seemed really high quality, and the hollandaise sauce tasted good too. The waitress was also kind, prompt, and attentive, and the restaurant was clean. We also got a good parking spot in their free lot, despite the restaurant being packed at 9:30am on Sunday.

Ordered through door dash .. we always get fresh home made food here. My husband always gets the chicken and waffles he loves the spicy syrup that comes with it . I always get the biscuits and gravy there fluffy and just perfect portion. My kids get the fish n chips(fry’s) usually always fresh but unfortunately this order it came cold extra fishy n taste , tough on the inside and mush on the out. I don’t blame the cook it may have just got soggy from sitting waiting for the dasher . Definitely will order again 9/10

Whenever we're in the area we try to visit this Metro diner location. Arron, the server that regularly have was not working on this visit. On this visit Jill was are server and the restaurant was not busy and we were immediately seated. The menú items we ordered an appetizer of onion rings. For the main entrées we ordered Chicken tenders platter with a side of onion rings. The Philly cheesesteak omelet containing grilled steak, onions, mushrooms and cheese. Also wheat toast slices and cheese grits were included. Also ordered was eggs benedict on a spilt biscuit with fried chicken and 2 poached eggs topped with hollandaise sauce, and a side of hash browns. For a dessert apple cobbler a la mode was the final course. Even though we have to travel quite a distance to visit this location the food is always hot and served in a timely manner. And this location has become preferable to a closer location.

Here on vacation, which I come several times a year. When we walked in there was no one around.. it said please seat yourself. So we walked in and found the waitress in her little hole by the drinks on her phone. No big deal right? Sign says seat yourself. So my kids and I found a seat and as I walked past her I asked if it was kid friendly. The vibe was definitely not very kid friendly so I just wanted to check. She kinda had an attitude and was like yeah? Ok, sorry just checking. She tried to take our order 3 times in like 3 minutes.. it was obvious she wanted to go back to her hole and sit on her phone. Finally we ordered and the water tasted so bad, ordered sodas instead. The food was just ok. I got the Italian sandwich which had very little toppings and no taste. The bread was the best part. The tots weren’t seasoned much and not great either. Left a lot to be desired. The worst part was our waitress didn’t move from her spot on her phone. So if I needed a drink I had to peek around the wall to ask for a refill. She never really asked how the food was. When we changed to soda, I had to yell can we get a different drink? It was obvious her phone was more important than customers. We won’t be back due to this. Then she stands over your shoulder when you leave a tip on her little computer. No I don’t want to leave a small tip but it was so uncomfortable… they need to give you the machine and walk away for a minute. Ugh!

Burger was excellent and the fries top notch. Service was on point. Honestly wasn't expecting much but they did everything and more that you want from a sports bar.

Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon. The restaurant was empty and my party of three were able to sit anywhere. We ordered the tots with cheese and the buffalo chicken dip for starters. Apps came out quick and tasted great. There was so much choices on the menu, we order the chicken Caesar wrap, the chicken Parmesan hoagie, and the club. Everything was great. Best place I tried all weekend.

First visit to Evie’s and it wasn’t bad but be prepared for a lively venue if you go on a Saturday night. It was certainly a party atmosphere being borderline over-crowded and full of loud music. We were with our teen-age kids so it didn’t bother us, heck they don’t like taking to us anyway. Service was solid, food cook time was about average and the food was tasty. We did find it noteworthy that only one of their employees, just one, was wearing a mask. So if that is important to you, keep that in mind. We’d come back, made for a fun night.

Probably the best strawberry ice cream we have ever tried. We also enjoyed the Kahlua krunch and salty turtle. We were greeted with a smile and offered plenty of time to sample as many flavors as we wanted.

Jake’s was one of the best ice creams I’ve ever had and this is coming from a fellow ice cream shop owner. The customer service from the young man was very friendly and easygoing. He was very patient with our family as we tried samples. I even purchased a t-shirt that helped victims of trafficking (black on black design). Keep up the great work Jake ( the pecan flavor was my personal fav and the vanilla was exceptional.)

We went here today after reading the reviews and it didn’t disappoint. The ice cream was quite honestly some of the best even in comparison to home in Ontario, Canada. Jake was there explaining all the flavours and gave us quite a few samples to ensure we got what we loved. He was so very friendly and kind and gave some good tourist recommendations too. It’s a must if you’re in Siesta Key!

This place was so good. Got a cup with espresso bean (on bottom, not visible in picture) and Madagascar vanilla. Both were delicious. Best ice cream I've had in sarasota. The flavor is complex and rich. Just the right amount of sweetness, not overpowering. Creamy and pleasant on the tongue. Everything was just bliss. Had a great time savoring this ice cream and can't wait to be back to try more flavors. Also got a Mango smoothie, which was good. But do yourself a favor and get the ice cream!

What an exceptional ice cream shop! It’s a family run business and you can quickly see how much they care about quality and giving the customer a great experience. We were able to sample different flavors before we made our final choices. The Rum Raisin and Salted Turtle were unique and delicious! You won’t be disappointed.

Jake's ice cream is a homemade ice cream experience. The ingredients are fresh and not mass ordered. Thought goes into every flavor and there is continual refinement. The staff is warm and friendly. The ice cream is yummy and every bite leaves you wanting more. Butter pecan to cherry are my faves, but the orange is awesome and refreshing.

Amazing place for frozen yogurt. I’m a huge fan of frozen yogurt and I try to get some whenever I travel. I was visiting some friends in Sarasota and gave this place a try and was really impressed. The flavors were so fresh and delicious, but I think the best part is the toppings. I’ve never seen so many awesome toppings in any froyo shop. The seating is plentiful and the inside is well decorated. There is also a neat seating area outside to enjoy. The one downer is that they don’t let you sample the flavors by yourself. They ask you which one you want to try and then pour it themselves, which seems like we weren’t trusted. But overall it is a great place for desert.

Was staying at the Sarasota Memorial Hospital with my dad for 48 hrs and it was nice to have this fro-yo place across the street for variety. The place is pretty spacious and is very modern and clean. The flavors of the frozen yogurt were all very unique and super yummy. They had about 10 different flavors which was awesome. The toppings bar was huge and had so many dif options! Was loaded with fresh fruits, yummy chocolate options, lots of gummy candies and overall non chocolate candies, the did have full candy bars and brownies and just a ton of toppings. Lots of sauces and creams you can puut on top as well. It is kind of a pricey place tho. Even compared to like Red Mango. I got maybe a third of a cup of stuff and payed $7. Something I thought was strange was that they wouldn’t give out the sample cups to try the yogurt but would fill the cups up fOr you. Was kknd of an awkward experience and madE me not want to try the other flavors. Other than that I’d say its an awesome fro yo place.

From the tables to the spoons, syrups had stuff coming down the sides could not even touch it.. food all over the counter. Garbage was literally overflowing! Credit card machine was down and only 4 flavors. Please clean this place up you are serving food! Nasty nasty nasty!

The place overall was pretty decent, the staff was great in terms of service and attention to the toppings bar. The place was pretty clean, only down side was the amount of flavors that were not available. It seemed as if the top flavors were out. One of the better yogurt shops. But does seem to lack choice .

They were able to create the perfect cake and cupcakes for my daughter birthday party. Loved the option for vegan cake as my daughter is sensitive to eggs. Very accommodating and takes pride in their work.

WOW! These cupcakes are so good and they have a big variety of flavors. The best option for vegan and gluten free cupcakes in Sarasota. Cannot tell that traditional baking ingredients like eggs and wheat flour are missing. They do an absolutely beautiful job decorating too! We got a golf birthday cake and it was perfect!

Sarasota Bakehouse is hands down the best bakery in the Sarasota area. Their cupcakes and cakes are fresh, delicious, and they offer so many flavor varieties. They always have gluten free and vegan cupcakes options available too. I’ve only ever had their cupcakes (which I’m obsessed with) and recently ordered the most beautiful vegan carrot cake for my 40th birthday. They nailed it! The colors, design, and thought they put in was better than I could have ever dreamed. Highly recommend ordering your birthday cakes, anniversaries, graduation, whatever from them. And the owners and bakers are so fun and easy to work with!

Excellent gluten free cupcakes! I ordered 6 different ones and we cut them in half people could try different flavors. Everyone loved them! And everyone I came in contact with (by phone and at pick up) were wonderful and friendly. We will definitely be back!

We just checked in for our 15-year wedding anniversary at the Sarasota Ritz-Carlton, and from the very beginning, the experience was amazing. Blair at the front desk gave us the warmest welcome — we mentioned it was a special weekend, and she made us feel so celebrated. The property itself is beautiful, and we spent our days getting relaxing massages, enjoying the beach resort, and indulging in some incredible food at Rufus. Highly recommend the beef tacos and the Hummingbird margarita — absolutely delicious! The sweetest surprise was returning to our room in the afternoon to find complimentary champagne from Blair!! It was such a thoughtful touch that made our anniversary weekend even more memorable. If you’re looking for a perfect mix of luxury, relaxation, and thoughtful service, this is it.

Very nice hotel. Older property, but well maintained. Exceptional service. Valet only parking $(55). Resort fee ($65) daily. Nothing really within walking distance. Free shuttle to beach club (10 minutes) and Armand area. Very expensive food and drinks. Maid service was not completed until 4pm.

If you’re truly looking for a luxury experience, book elsewhere. The place is looking pretty rough and dated. It’s time to refresh and upgrade. The hallways are dingy, dark, and freezing. The rooms are dark, with lopsided lampshades, fraying carpet and no thresholds between the entry and room or bath. And although everyone we encountered was friendly and said the right words, things were just off. Like the hostess who gestured for us to proceed her out the door to the patio, when we had no idea to which table we were headed. Or the barista who didn’t understand that my husband wanted a red eye so just plain ignored his order. I mean, if we wanted a Courtyard experience, we would have booked a Courtyard.

We stayed here for a week as we were visiting with a sick family member. The entire culture of the staff was warm, friendly and welcoming. The accommodations were great and were comfortable as our trip was quite grueling and emotionally heavy. We looked forward to getting back to the hotel every day. I wish we had more free time to explore the beach club, maybe next time.

WOW!! This is THE BEST!!! Exceeded my expectations!! Customer service was the AMAZING!! Michelle at the Club level lounge was amazing! Ben, Peter, Chloe, Caryll, Jennifer, Jim, Kavenaugh, and Zach were all superb! The hotel has stunning views, and the rooms are well-appointed and clean! Highly recommend this place!!!

We stayed here for five days. The landscaping, views, and rooms were beautiful. The balcony door was very well insulated, which was good as they were building another hotel in the bay 24/7. The bed and comforter were soft and comfortable. Our room was a galley style with a large balcony overlooking the bay. The balcony was large and where we spent the majority of our time during our stay. The staff was amazing. We had an issue with our drain not working in the shower and called engineering around 8:30pm and by 9:30pm engineering was there and had it fixed by 10pm. We really enjoyed being able to spend the mornings on the pier in the bay watching the wildlife while it was shady. Watching the dolphins play in the bay was a very special experience. The private beach/club house was beautiful. They had lockable lockers/shower rooms/restrooms. The sand was so white and soft and we found some of the most beautiful shells. The deck/beach chairs were comfortable and having access to fruit flavored water/sunscreen was a nice touch. The hot tub and pool were very large. I will say the only downside to the beach club is it is a little inconvenient to have to drive/take the shuttle to the beach. It is understandable with where the hotel is located and it was only a five minute drive, but understand, there isn't a walkable beach at the hotel. We did not go to the separate golf club, but did check out the tennis courts at the hotel. It looks like they tried to tape pickleball boundaries on them and it did not work as the tape was blowing all over the court. There was also mud/mold in the corner, but it was still nice to have the option to play. We enjoyed being able to play ping pong/ladder ball/shuffle board whenever we wanted at the hotel. It was a little sad the large chess board was missing a black pawn, but we just used a water bottle in its place. The pool at the hotel was also lovely as it was heated, but not hot. It would have been a little better if it had a place that was deeper than 4', but this wasn't that big of a deal. The hot tub is smaller than the one at the beach clubhouse, but adequate for our stay. Our child LOVED having jellybeans every afternoon at 4pm. This was his favorite part of our stay... along with the bed. I would like to thank the staff for being so helpful with our questions and diligent with the valet. We had never stayed in Sarasota, so having locals on staff giving their recommendations truly made our stay special. We will definitely be returning!

I sent my complaint to corporate. With names. They treat you like a thief using self checkout yet have no full service available. They use the excuse it’s a high theft store. What I see is a store that does not have grocery professionals thus has a high shrink loss. Instead of owning it they wait for the yearly inventory to catch. Why items run out. The counts are off hiding the failure to rotate. Experience matters. I see inexperience using customers as shrink loss.

It’s depressing and never stocked well. This is our family’s biggest monthly expense and every time I shop someone is looking at me like I might not scan all my purchases. It’s very upsetting. The one thing that is good is the pharmacy staff. The store is not inviting nor clean. Can’t wait for ALDI’s to open.

Zero if I could. I purchased spoiled boneless skinless chicken breasts here. CS associate was rude. Did not acknowledge me other than a look. Gave me grief about returning spoiled meat. She then spilled the rotten chicken all of the counter, other returned product that was not moved, her hands, and the scanner. I asked her to wash her hands before giving me my money, and again she gave me attitude. Needless to say, I will not return to a grocery store that does not consider health and safety important issues.

Do not go here, pay more and shop at Publix if you prefer peace. This place is full of Demons and bad spirits.

I learned my lesson. It’s been year since I’ve been in a Taco Bell. At first I thought it was closed. With the now hiring sign and the empty building. I ventured in anyway. Went to order at the register and was directed by finger point, no speaking,to the computer screen. Ordered and got my food surprisingly quick. Guy with blue shirt watch a tv show on his phone at full volume. Guy in red shirt sat right next to me in a completely empty room. Photo for reference. Shall not return.

MOLD!!!!! I ordered a Mexican pizza meal. Everything was there but the box that stored the food had mold on the four corners of my food. It was absolutely disgusting and very unsanitary. I instantly felt sick and had to throw everything away. Waste of money going here. I am not sure if they do not clean or what but mold on the boxes that keep the food is nasty. It was definitely black mold after inspecting the box.

The location was very clean and well stocked. Food was prepared well and as ordered (one order has many mods). Ingredients tasted fresh. Team members friendly and helpful. There was a young man working the front counter and I didn't believe he stopped cleaning and organizing the entire time we were there. It seems like they actually care about the restaurant. Very nice!

It's taco bell... Besides them making you wait for 5 plus minutes just to place an in person order and then another ten minutes for you to get your food. The food was what I was expecting, Taco Bell. At least the order was correct. Drive through much faster but I wanted to eat inside and talk to a human instead of a kiosk...

We’ve been to this Taco Bell before and haven’t had issues like this, but this time when we went, the employees were very rude. And when we got home, our receipt was not given to us, they didn’t put on of our burritos that we paid for in the bag, and the chicken quesadilla we got wasn’t even cooked… the cheese wasn’t melted or even warm. We spent almost 20$ and I understand it’s fast food but this wasn’t even the bare minimum.

Taco Bell is always a solid go-to when you're craving something quick and tasty. The food was fresh, and the staff was friendly. Only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the wait was a little longer than usual this time. Still hit the spot though, can’t go wrong with a Crunchwrap!

One of the best burgers I've ever had. The pizza sauce had huge chunks of onion, which I wasn't a fan of, but the overall flavor was great. Amazing tacos.

The burger was so good! Highly recommend. The fries were very crispy. My husband got the breakfast sandwich and he really liked that as well. He tried my burger and wanted the burger sauce on his sandwich too! The outdoor seating was a plus!

I was in town on business and this place was in walking distance. Day 1, tacos. ✔. Day 2, burger. ✔. Oh, so good! Wish I could take this place back to NH. FYI, I love the design of the place. Lighting, furniture, even the restrooms are well designed and decorated and clean.

This place is awesome. Fast service and all food was delicious. Just picked it randomly and was not disappointed. Their PBandThree is a lot of food and very reasonably priced. This is counter service at it's best. The staff is friendly. To anyone doubting, they have everything you could want, pizza, burgers, AND tacos. They also have chicken sandwiches and others that got rave reviews from others.

Stopped on a whim and could not have been more pleased. The pork tenderloin was fantastic and so flavorful! Service from the manager and waiter was outstanding. The chef even stepped out to see if we enjoyed our meal. Awesome location and fun people watching. I was shocked that it was only their 3rd night in business. Definitely will dine here again.

We like to eat here before or after a movie at the nearby Hollywood 20. I've eaten here twice. THIS time (last night) I had the best fish tacos ever! My husband had a warm chicken sandwich that he really liked. (The first time was about 2 months ago and I don't remember very well what I had--some kind of vegetarian taco. It was just ok.) We'll be back. Both times the employees were great.

Breakfast was amazing! I had the avocado toast and it was absolutely delicious! Very comfortable environment that is right on Main Street! Jeremiah was an excellent server. The manager even made sure we were taken care. Love this place! Will come back soon!

Vampire Penguin never disappoints—light, fluffy, and packed with flavor. If you’re feeling adventurous, the Mexican Candy is a wild, sweet-and-spicy ride that’s surprisingly addictive. Highly recommend it if you like a bold twist on dessert!

I love all the cute concoctions you can get here and if you can’t pick from the menu, you can pick a base and two toppings for $7. I chose the dulce de leche for $8, which was a vanilla shave ice base, topped with whip cream and flan, and a drizzle of caramel sauce. I know it sounds sweet, but it was the perfect dessert/treat. It was semi sweet. They do have a lot more versions of shave ice desserts, which looks very gourmet. The staff is very helpful. I would love to go back and try their strawberry cheese cake dessert!

Delicious light dessert! Very flavorful and lots of options, but still healthy and not sugary. Very friendly staff, super clean and cool inside, and a great escape from the summer/Florida heat.

Delicious snow ice! The flavors are great. We had dulce de Leche, creamsicle and I did a make your own mango with strawberries and watermelon. My only complaint is that I should have gotten the large! Can’t wait to come back and try different flavor combinations. One of my favorite desserts, because it’s indulgent but light. An nice choice for people with lactose intolerance.

I have to say this place was very surprising. The idea that shaved ice has come so far baffles me. This place was great. The toppings were very fresh. The service was fast and friendly. The guy behind the counter was knowledgeable and answered all my questions about the product as I had never tried this before. It was a little pricey $6.50 for a small with 2 toppings but it was delicious all the same. This is a good dessert choice if you are lactose intolerant or if you dont want to feel weighed down by your dessert. Definitely recommend this place.

Very refreshing, not too heavy treat! It really is like snow, but then has a creamy texture once you eat it! We loved it, and the kids enjoyed it even more!highly recommend!!

A different kind of shaved icecream but plenty of flavors

We picked up key lime pie on a stick and was disappointed. Especially after hearing they are “award winning”. We have high expectations after having the absolute best ones in the FL Keys. I ate mine in the middle of day, in the sun, and the chocolate just didn’t melt, it also didn’t taste like chocolate. The pie was tasty, crust a bit too thick. But the chocolate not melting ruined it. The ones in the keys are extremely chocolaty, you have to eat quickly, and the chocolate melts as it hits your mouth. It’s like CBC’s version is made with too much wax to have a solid thick set shell for being sold out of a cooler at the farmers market. The first bite and overall look is exciting and disappointing at once, the chocolate shell is thick, but tasteless. Owners should have the version you can find in the keys, then replicate it. This was a miss for me.

Wanted a similar outstanding Key Lime pie we experienced in Key West. Found the Carribbean Pie Company. I was greeted by Jerry, the co-owner and I met Shari, also the co-owner who's spearheads the culinary creative end of the business. Jerry walked me through the selections of Key Lime Pies as well as Creamed Filled Pies. He also pointed out their latest addition/feature “ALL THINGS KEY LIME!”. LOTS to choose from that's made inhouse. I bought the Tropical Key Lime Pie. It was sooo delicious. Better than you'll find at any store in town. Just saying!

Outstanding! They had many choices but I went with the classic key lime pie. I also enjoyed the frozen key lime pie dipped in chocolate on a stick.

While in Sarasota, we decided to get some key lime pies as it is my favorite dessert, but we had to leave the next day. First off when we entered, the owner was super nice and welcoming to us! We decided to get the regular and tropical key lime pies and brought it back with us 11 hours home (put in a cooler in the car). It was still good, and we tried the pies which were super delicious. We gave our neighbor some of the pie we had, and they finished it within the same day we gave them the key lime pie. We and our neighbors think this is the best key lime pie we have ever had. Honestly, we regret buying two pies, we should have bought more!

Overrated and a bit Expensive. I tried the key lime pie on a stick from the Sarasota Farmers Market because I saw many people eating them. Satisfactory but I was expecting it to be better based on the $6 price tag!! Here’s why - I thought because it was frozen treat that the key lime pie itself would have the cold frozen popsicle style, needing a good bite but instead it seemed and tasted room temperature with just layer of frozen chocolate.

We love key lime pies and always try to find the best key lime pie when we travel to Florida. Well worth the stop or detour if you are a key lime pie lover !

Best croissant breakfast sandwiches ever! This coffee shop is so good! We LOVE Captain Curt’s Restaurant and this coffee shop is such a wonderful addition! Hayley, Russell, and Alexis are very friendly and they all make awesome lattes!!! The pastries and drinks are excellent!

Coffee was good, matcha was good. Great service and loved the atmosphere. We got a ham, egg and cheese croissant knowing it was prepared ahead of time. It was good.

Flavor options are pretty limited. Can’t comment on the food as we just got drinks. Overall nothing spectacular but it’s a decent place for coffee.

After a beach morning, I checked out Captain Curt’s Tiki Hut Coffee Garden and tried their Mocha Frap. The space was such a perfect beach day retreat, and even had some alligators chilling in the water next to it too!

I have been ordering from Kookies & Kream since day one, so needless to say I was ecstatic about them opening a store front here in Sarasota. Everything I have tasted from K&K has been amazing. I must mention the decor and ambiance of the Kookies & Kream storefront has a retro vibe and unique ambiance, It feels like something out of a comic book or cartoon. The staff is super friendly which also makes every visit enjoyable. Needless to say I would highly recommend any one who likes extravagant cookies/ desserts to give them a try. I promise you won’t regret it

You HAVE to eat here. Amazing flavors and unique combinations. The ice cream is out of this world. I drive two hours just to get it. I’ve been ordering these kookies by mail for two years so I’m stoked to have a shop to go to. The shop is super neat and full of 90s nostalgia. It’s an experience in itself. I've only ordered online and had it shipped to me, but I've had the cookies and cookie bars. Short answer they're great. If you're trying to lose weight you'll have to fight not eating the entire thing. I prefer the cookie/brookies/blookie bars over the cookies but that's just my preference. The products ship well but sometimes the icing may melt but the cookie/brookies/blookie is fine just icing spread out not. Some of the cookies/bars I heat up in the microwave for 5 seconds so that it's warm but certain bars you don't want to heat up to much because the middle will become to gooey (unless you like that). I can't wait to one day visit the store. Great customer service. Ignore the label on the cookies, I labeled them so I can remember what flavors I'm eating.

I am absolutely obsessed with this company. I've tried dozens of companies (megalicious, haysweetie, fat and weird, big fat cookie, staccked, PDX, etc) and, while all being good, none of them compare. The flavors are incredible and they always find the perfect ratio of mix-ins to cookie dough. I always heat mine up for 15-20 seconds but theyre also amazing at room temperature Customer service is phenomenal and shipping is always super quick. I only wish that I lived close enough to try their ice creams, bars, and everything else

These cookies are incredible! They are massive and the taste and texture is EVERYTHING! The texture of these cookies are like eating cookie dough, they are incredible in the microwave for about 20 seconds to give it that gooey texture. I’ve tried 12 flavors and each time I say “this ones my favorite”. These cookies are the BEST out of all the places I have ordered from and are steps above the cookie mill places like crumbl.

The best cookie mashup you're taste buds have ever experienced! Each cookie weighs about 1 pound and you could split it in 4 to share. We keep them in the freezer until the sweet tooth comes on. The key is to start them in the microwave and then an air fryer. The outside is crispy along the edges and gooey in the middle. This is the cookie of your dreams!

These cookies are insanely good, however, if you heat them up in the microwave for 30 seconds you will have an outer body experience. If you're within 100 miles of K&K, you need to stop in. The 90's nostalgia feel is second to none. If you're not within driving or hitchhiking distance, then order online. You simply cannot go wrong supporting them. Lastly, I LOVE they don't accept cash. We need more progressive thinking businesses like this.
