Wow!!! What an ice cream . They have a great variety of flavours and sizes. You pay a little more than you would at an ice cream man but this was well worth it. I love how you can go inside to order or order outside. Most people inside seem to order food as well as Ice cream,where outside there seemed to be more ice creams and milkshakes/ drinks. I went today mainly for ice cream but the food looked amazing too. Think we will order food too on our next visit. I got cherry and strawberry in a tub ( three scooped ), my girlfriend got biscoff and mint chocolate ( in a cone, two scoops ). 10/10 for the ice cream.

Bloody lovely 😋 Even on a busy August Sunday afternoon, plenty of parking and we were served in good time. The ice cream isn't cheap, but its special. Loads of flavours and different cones, trays ect. They're definitely not stingy with the servings, which is great because the ice cream is soon moreish! Have a really interesting looking range of sausage rolls and stuff too which I will be trying when we go back. Because I will definitely return. Highly recommended 👌

Delicious ice cream, plenty of parking and a lovely path opposite to walk down to the beach with said ice cream. Toilets on the premises as well as other products. Inside and outside seating. We always come here if in the area. Wonderful staff, great place to go. Ignore the 1 star reviews, absolutely clowns when this place is a credit to the area, love it there.

Had afternoon tea at Mr Moos. Lovely staff and delicious food. Can definitely tell it is homemade! Fast service, great value for money, lovely touch having the festive ice cream cones at the end. Friendly staff, came to check on us a couple of times. Very clean place too.

An exquisite chocolate tart! Today I visited Beverley for the first time and tried the most incredible chocolate tart (I hope, I remember it's name correctly)! Everything about it was perfect: the chocolate literally melts in your mouth, and the shortcrust base is of the highest quality. If, like me, you ever find yourself in this town, you absolutely must visit this place! I’m now regretting that I live an hour away, otherwise I’d definitely work my way through the entire menu! 😅 Bravo to the pastry chef! You are truly a master of your field!

This establishment is in Lairgate and frankly quite easy to miss because it is very small. However, my daughter and I loved it. We only went in for coffee and cake but we were made very welcome and the service was both cheerful and efficient. It advertises itself as “a taste of France” and that is a very accurate statement. It really is very authentic French patisserie and there is a very good choice too. We had fruit tartlets and they were certainly fruity, tangy, tasty and quite large. The pastry was superb. The coffee was smashing too. Two coffees and two tars came out at £10 .50 which was very reasonable. I was unaware that they also offered breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea as well as take-away food including home-made chocolates and celebration cakes. There are even speciality evenings monthly. I am returning with the family to try afternoon tea and I’ll report back shortly. This café is frankly a little gem, easily missed but don’t! Speciality Evening Meals Having noticed that speciality evening menus are also put on twice monthly, we tried one in February. The full cost of the meal was £29-95 per person, and you reserve a table with a £5/person deposit. You book your choice of dishes in advance. Vegetarian options are available if you ask. The establishment has no licence to sell alcohol, so you can bring your own wine but water is provided free and you can buy soft drinks. We indicated that we would be rather late arriving but you can start your meal anytime in the evening up to 8.00 pm. It was a smashing experience. There was a friendly atmosphere. It was warm and cosy and the service was quick, considerate and efficient. We had canapes on arrival, followed by tasty chicken liver pate. Two of us then had the fish duo roulade served with a creamy parsley sauce whereas my other daughter had opted for the pork fillet stuffed with brandy- soaked apricots. These main dishes were beautifully presented and delicious. They were followed by a smashing assiette gourmande. We finished with tea/coffee and petit fours. Extra tea/coffee was available if required. There are not many tables, so an evening can soon be fully booked. We have now reserved for March and nearly missed out although the proprietors indicated that they were prepared to put on extra evenings if there was enough demand. Speciality Evening Dinner Again! Its Speciality Evenings, twice or thrice monthly are absolutely smashing and such great value at £29.95 per guest. You get, for instance, canapes on arrival, a starter, main course, desert, coffee and petit fours. To give you an idea my daughter chose French onion soup and loved it. I had a delicious fish risotto and for the main course veal or duck were on offer. Cheesecake or chocolate mousse was available for dessert. All the desserts were beautifully presented, very tasty and the service was friendly and very efficient. We cannot get there early but were still able to eat from 8.00 pm. Menu details for the next few months can be picked up in the patisserie if interested. The afternoon tea is delicious, substantial and very good value. The sandwiches were superb, the bread fresh and tasty. I liked the Coronation Chicken and Smoked Salmon with Cream Cheese particularly. You can order alternatives if required. There were no scones which was hardly surprising but both the savoury and sweet croissants were delicious, as were the cakes. You can have either tea or coffee. The tea was excellent and we were provided with welcome additional hot water and milk. The service is friendly and first rate You cannot book a table but if you arrive after 2 pm, you should have little problem getting a table. Christmas treats At Christmas we were tempted by some wonderful extra goodies. Beautifully presented, rich, indulgent and best shared cakes in the shape of Swiss chalets, candles and baubles. Treats to brighten up Christmas . All day breakfast : extensive menu, very tasty and good value. Recommend the bacon and egg breakfast basket

We just had morning tea for two, which was an amazing experience. Lady behind the counter was very friendly and attentive and couldn't do enough for you. Authentically decorated tea shop is absolutely welcoming, warm, and quiet. I had white chocolate and raspberry meringue, which is delicious and fresh. Definitely, l will visit again and taste other pastries!

What a find! A beautiful range of cakes and pastries in particular. The lemon meringue tart was outstanding, beautiful fine pastry, perfectly balanced lemon filling and the lightest meringue I've ever had.

Lovely éclairs and chocolate tart we got some bread too today , very nice baking loved all our items we bought defiantly recommend her cakes 🎂 baking is good 👍 we shall come back in another day

Delightful place, small but perfectly formed with lovely, welcoming and helpful lady behind the counter. It was nearer the end of the day and the sun had gone in, so my photographs could only capture what products were remaining. I had thought it was take out only, but apparently you can dine in. I got tempted by the cherry scone, the lime and chocolate tart and the amazing looking, stacked, chocolatey meringues. Yet to try them, but everything looked delicious. Shall definitely revisit when back in Beverley.

Absolutely ❤️ 💯 this place. 100% vegan, independent and local. Staff are amazing and friendly. They sell vegan goods too, cheeze, plant based dog snacks, deli items and have a refill station for shampoo/ conditioner and laundry stuff. I would go here every week if I could!

Recently decided to go vegan with my wife and decided to try out the local vegan cafe. The staff were incredibly helpful, offering valuable advice for newcomers like us. The menu provided a plethora of fresh and delicious options, creating a tough choice with so much variety. The atmosphere was lovely, and the extensive selection of vegan alternatives was impressive. Looking forward to our next visit, and the mocha was the best I've had in a long time!

Great, reasonably priced food served in a cafe clearly living it's values on veganism. Pet friendly, enviro friendly cleaning products with refill station at the back of the shop. I recommend the Keralan cauliflower and chickpea pasty!

Amazing Place, great decor and fab food, we went miles out of the way and it didn't disappoint We were travelling from N Yorks to Lincolnshire and decided we could pop in to Cottingham for this place, it was epic! I'm not a breakfast person but I was in love with their bagel, omellete, sausage, hashbrown, beans and cheese!!! My partner got a homemade beetburger with extra hash browns- it all tasted amazing, the tables are fab, its nice and roomy upstairs and they have a great selection in their shop- we picked up some violife extra mature and could have easily got lots more! We even stayed a while in the village so we could have their amazing dessert and milkshakes-divine! if we are ever in the area we will definetly return as it was a great experience. A SUPER FINE example of a vegan cafe!!!!

A lovely little, totally vegan cafe tucked away in a small place that is Cottingham. The food is lovely, with good sized portions (we were stuffed) and there are lots of lovely vegan things for sale in there, as well as some great things for dogs too. Dogs are very welcome with their human companions, which is also fabulous. We'll definitely visit again. Photos of choc mint freak shake and oreo hot chocolate 😋

Overall in shop experiences have been fine however do NOT order from uber eats at ANY circumstance I got a Soggy piece of cookie dough that was not half the size that I ordered. It came out on a total of £13 with delivery one side was over burnt and the other side was undercooked.

Only one member of staff working, so our drinks alone took just under half an hour. Then ordered food which came within 5/10 minutes, but the portions were tiny, very stingy on fruit and toppings, along with very tiny ice cream scoops. Wouldn’t be so much of an issue if it wasn’t for the price you end up paying for the food. Definitely going elsewhere next time, where we can get better value for money.

I went with my husband and three grandchildren today. So very disappointed not been for a long time so was really looking forward to it. I got myself an Ice-cream which was bought in something you would put tomatoe sauce in so small was disgusted would not order again. My husbands coffee was very weak tasting and he is a coffee drinker. My Grandaughters got a cookie dough based pudding each again very small for the price that was paid. The toilets were not a nice experience, toilet seat was not appropriately fitted. The toilet roll holder rusty, floors and skirting boards dusty and dirty. Would certainly not go back or recommend the place to anyone.

I used to love coming here with my daughter 08/08/25 me and my daughter had Latte and cone with one scoop touching nearly £8 Call it half a scoop or less, I call the staff member over I asked nicely can we have some more (Oliver twist) She brought a teaspoon size over to make the one scoop a tiny bit better! My latte came 20mins later like water The toilets you can smell to the other end off shop Floors mirrors filthy Not the same know more Not recommended

1st time at this place. We had a eat - in experience. The people seemed very chilled out. They was no table service although we was at a table. My wife received her food 15 minutes before mine even arrived. She had finished before mine had even come, felt like eating by yourself. I had to ask for our drinks twice even then the milkshakes came towards the end of my meal. I popped to the toilet. I could not even use it. They was urine all over the floor.with sheets of paper thrown on for good measure. The large bin at the side used for personal use was overflowing and on the floor not to mention the stench from when you first opened up the door. I came out within 20 seconds Bocking. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING ANYTIME SOON. Get you hygiene in order as now I can only second guess the rest of it behind closed doors.

Reason for the low score bought 2 milkshakes for around £15, poor quality milkshake barely any flavour with the chunks of peanut chocolate just floating didn't taste of reeces. Can easily make with a Ninja Creami if not better

Popped in for a coffee today, seen the pistachio and white chocolate cookies and just had to try one. Coffee was perfect and the cookie was amazing. I didn't try the ice cream but the amount of people queuing for one and walking out with one of the many varieties I am betting the ice cream is also delicious.

Had lunch here whilst working in the office at Beverley. This is a lovely cafe with some decent outdoor seating. The menu is great and the food lovely. Parking you would need to use nearby public car parks and walk here. Based on my visit I would totally recommend.

Ice cream can be enjoyed any time of the year! On Christmas Eve, I got a tub of Baileys Cheesecake gelato…how festive! And yes- it did taste of Baileys!

Lovely little cafe serving nice food, unfortunately, let down by the service, asked for hot water for the tea, which was slammed on the table. If using the toilet, be careful of the loose toilet seat, and the toilet could also do with a good clean. The food was good and deserved a 5*

Customer service and coffee was great. However, furniture not clean, sticky and crumbs everywhere. Toilet in the other hand definitely should be out of order. One tap no working, toilet seat damaged and not cleaned most probably for a month. Not a pleasant experience visiting Del Gelato.

Finally after few visits decided to give my opinion and got mixed feelings as deserts taste great and staff try to make them look attractive and tasty. But this is where good things end service made me awkward and wife was looking at me still waiting for her order wile mine was delivered. With so many staff not able to deliver order to family of 5 . Drinks are the good side as they were delicious. Plenty of spaces to seat and decor is welcoming. For deserts is one of very few places in city . With few offs would still recommend place to visit and taste the lovely looking deserts

I went in late last night with my mum and girlfriend and despite ordering a lot the two girlies on front were super kind and patient!!! despite the new system they were using messing up they handled it with such grace and professionalism!! I could tell the lady with the pretty leaf necklace was tired but despite that she still provided great service!! both of them deserve more recognition!! will definitely return for more sweet treats ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ!!!

The wife and I had lunch here after viewing a house. Very good chocolatiers that also do food in their cafe. I had the chicken and chorizo with brown toast which was excellent; the biscotti milkshake was amazing!! Based on my experience I would certainly recommend a visit whether you’re looking for some lunch or a gift for someone this establishment has it covered!

I visited the White Rabbit for dessert and ordered a hot chocolate and the milk chocolate dipper with strawberries (£6), as the selection of cakes at the counter was quite limited. The fondue only came with 6 strawberries so there was a little chocolate left over at the end, which I didn't really mind as I ate it with a spoon. The chocolate seemed to be of good quality and the hot chocolate was also nice.

This was my second visit to the White Rabbit. The first involved just a visit to the shop to buy a birthday cake. There is a good choice and range of prices. You naturally pay extra for the excellent chocolate incorporated into the cake but great if you want something a bit special and different. The chocolates on sale looked equally tempting and I noticed that the smallish café attached was full of customers. I liked the comfortable, quirky, themed décor and decided to visit. We did so the following week. There is a good range of coffees with hot milk available if required in small and large sizes. The prices are very reasonable. Hot chocolate is obviously on sale. It comes in milk, white, dark caramel, orange or strawberry flavours. You can even make your own with a hot choc stick and there are rich and intense adult hot chocolates and milder ones for kids. A whole range of treats are available including Choc Afternoon Tea, Choc Three Ways, Chocolates on the Side of freshly baked cakes. I can recommend the brownies that come in a range of flavours. Service is good and the café is comfortable if a little tight. There are clean and fresh toilet facilities available but at some distance. Be aware that you must trek upstairs. The White Rabbit is well worth a visit. More recently we revisited with a view to trying the hot chocolate and were delighted. You can buy cups in three sizes from “kids” at £2 to “large” at £3.15. We went for the “medium” which was big enough and chose the traditional chocolate although there is a good choice of flavours to be had. You can buy “extras” such as marshmallows, cream, chocolate curls or the “works” for 95 pence. If this is insufficient there are three speciality hot chocolates at £3.95. The hot chocolate was delicious and looked so tempting. It was drizzling and dull outside but the hot chocolate made us feel warm and satisfied. It was certainly tasty and comforting. I can well imagine how superb it would be in the middle of winter. We will be back. The White Rabbit doesn’t miss a trick…

Chocolate galore. Great staff. Gets very busy so recommend booking a table. Love visiting here. Shop inside. Savoury options including toasties with a chocolate vinaigrette. Hot chocolates, milkshakes and chocolate fondues. Very very tasty. Short walk from tesco car park if you want free parking for up to 3 hours.

They offer many types of choccolate, i had a latte on this occasion it came with a couple of choccolate buttons, i really enjoyed it!

Used to love this place but sadly two things have let it down recently, firstly the hot chocolates used to be amazing but last time just not great at all and felt really on the spot when I asked the staff about this who seemed offended at my question, and secondly chocolate range and availability is really poor. their rosemary caramel sea salt is phenomenal and thankfully still available but struggling with what used to be a five star local place I used to be proud to support

Delicious coffee with complimentary dark chocolate buttons, the friendly and efficient waitress served us a carafe of cold water to refresh us and clean our palate before we had our coffees. Set in a quiet little back street and with outside and interior seating, this was a lovely spot to just sit and relax. They have a resident chocolatier, their savoury menu looked tasty and we enjoyed the complimentary chocolate buttons so much we bought a bag to take away with us.

We went for a latte here and I can't really say much just it was warm and wet. Tasted of hot milk more than coffee. They need to put a bigger shot of coffee in.

The first time we have been here for lunch but it wont be our last lovely little cafe with a very pleasant atmosphere felt really comfortable to sit and chat had a good pot of tea for two and two bacon, brie and red onion marmalade toasties in bloomer bread exelent quality the young man serving was very friendly and polite. We would have loved to have had the afternoon tea, but unfortunately, this needed to be booked in advance. we will definitely book for them next time. Thank you for a lovely lunch ideal place to catch up with friends.

In addition to being a superb location for afternoon tea, this is a morning coffee lover's sanctuary. Lloyd, the very amiable manager and barrista, trained at James Hoffman's Square Mile roasters (the mother ship for high-end coffee production) and he makes very good coffee. This is also the only place in the UK where I have been offered a V60 coffee (made by a sophisticated filter process), and it was excellent. Perfect croissants are there for breakfast as well as delicious looking filled bagels and paninis, and of course Tiffin's signature heavenly chocolate creations and cakes. I'm very enthusiastic about this place as you can see. It shows a different side of Brid, and it's a lifeline, if like me you have been starved of coffee and good conversation on the Flamborough headland.

If they put their prices online I would have not visited. An Americano and a ham and cheese toastie nearly twelve pounds! For that price I am used to choosing what type of bread it comes with? Sourdough or granary etc but it came on some bread that was just meh, a small handful of crisps and a rocket salad. Nothing special, the coffee was very weak IMO and tasted rather drip coffee. The cakes did look delicious but again the prices were astronomical. Perhaps they’re specialists and cater to a niche market? If you’re planing to go with two or three friends expect to part with fifty to sixty pounds for a coffee and/ or cake or toastie. I didn’t notice how much the jacket potatoes were but I’ll have a guess they’re not reasonably priced.

If I would describe this place as "EXCEPTIONALLY GOOD" it would be understatement. Supreme name with amazing staff and food, deserts ARE TRULY GOOD! We want this to become country wide desert network as "Cakey Bakey Yum Yum" deserves to be recognised to what it is. Its name puts even wider smile on a face when having guilty pleasure of a desert 😂 I could not recommend it more and it would be a mistake to not visit it if you are in the area! 👍

My m8 and me made this a Pit Stop on our MTB ride starting out from the Humber Bridge carpark. Very nice place and sat outside in the Sun 🌅 as we can now, nice food but a little on the expensive side, had a laugh and chat with the lady who served us and a bit of banter with another customer, overall a good experience and will look forward to trying it again.

We popped in for lunch today, the food was good although a little expensive but the girl on the till was continually touching her nose and twiddling her nose ring round, I did ask who made the sandwiches because I didn't want her making mine because of this, she said I have hayfever and don't even work on the food, sorry, quite sarcastically, I have owned a catering business and employed several people up to my retirement so I do know what's expected in a catering establishment, it has put me off visiting again

I’d heard of this bakery through word-of-mouth, so paid it a visit while I was home for Christmas. So many of the treats tempted me, but I decided on the White Chocolate Stuffed Cookie. It made for a terrifically chocolatey treat, but I was surprised that the stuffing was melted milk rather than white!

The coffe was nice. The cafe as a whole had a vibe that it's been set up to look good on Instagram but not for the comfort of the customers who visit. The chairs and tiny tables make you feel awkward and uncomfortable. Not keen on my coffe out of a plastic mug, but again looks great on insta. Also there was no menu for Coffee or cake or another food options.

I stopped in 42ndeastbakehouse for the first time today during a trip to see Beverley. Was served by Ash and Millie, a great coffee, good music and excellent conversation from the staff. Highly recommend

If you have a sweet tooth this place is definitely for you. Sweet, but not too sweet!! They have a wonderful selection of perfectly baked extra thick cookies, I had the ginger cookie 😋 and it was absolutely amazing, my wife had a chocolate orange one and was equally impressed. They also sell a range of sandwiches pancakes and brownies which all look amazing. The last thing to mention and perhaps the most important is the coffee is without doubt the best coffee I've had in a very long time. I drink a lot of coffee, and from all over the world and this place has it spot on. So great food, amazing coffee and really nice staff. What more could you ask for in a coffee shop 😋😋😁😁👍🏻👍🏻

Great coffee and delicious sweet treats. Great warm welcome from Ash. Highly recommend. The safe is a real relaxing spot good music and a basket swing chair. A must for teens visiting

This is a great find and as a result it's very popular. Beside the range of coffee, tea and hot chocolate with a bake item you can get breakfast and brunch including pastries, toast, pancakes and toast/baguette with avocado, mushroom, mozzarella and other toppings. Booking is recommended.

Got cookies and brownies takeaway and they were delicious ! I would recommend adding more tables and chairs, we planned to stay in but 2 tables were full and 3 tables had stuff on it, so we decided to take away. I would recommend 👌

Massive shame that the freezer was filthy- full of mould so obviously hasn’t been cleaned in some time. Yes the ice cream I had was nice but it’s a shame the three young kids you had working today had a total lack of hygiene. The young Asian/Chinese girl with dark hair was seen wiping her nose multiple times, she didn’t once go and wash her hands in the time I was there all the while picking up cones etc and she had horrendously chipped bright blue nail varnish on…. Come on guys. Train your staff to be presentable and aware of hygiene.

Great ice cream parlor, friendly service and a good way to cool off in a hot day, lovely clean premises and a great range of food and drink. Lovely staff, the only criticism being there's no air conditioning during this ridiculous great wave aha, but other than that a great place with both indoor and outdoor seating. Definately would recommend to anyone both local and visiting.

Zachary's is one of the best, if not the best, icecream place in Hull superseding its competition. Doing a range of ice creams, sundaes, gelatoes and other bits and pieces makes the variety quite astonishing. Unfortunately, like every other high street store, Zachary's has been hit by the sugar tax making soft drinks there expensive. However, don't let this put you off! The ice cream is delicious and holds good value for its money. I strongly recommend, whether you live in Hull or not, to try Zachary's if you're in Willerby!

What a hard place to review and rate, it’s certainly not deserving of five stars. Let’s start with the positives, it’s reasonably priced, my wife and daughter loved the Knickerbocker Glory (I usually love them but not when they contain tinned fruit) the staff are super friendly and it’s clean. Regarding the staff, ask them for something different like throw a flake in and they’re more than willing to oblige. The negatives, there really isn’t a great choice unless you want flavoured scoops from the tub (which you can purchase from anywhere) and they don’t take credit cards. Honestly if you like an old fashioned knickerbocker Glory or a Californian Glory made with tinned fruit you’ll love it.

A Childhood Memory Relived and Hopefully One Created. One of my earliest childhood memories was visiting this place back in the mid 1960’s. I haven’t been back for over 50 years. I took my 3-year-old granddaughter there today and all I can say is “WOW”. This is exactly how I remember it. Friendly staff who are kind to children, even though we had an accident that resulted in broken glass. They were kind and more concerned about making sure my granddaughter didn’t fret about her accident. The Knickerbocker Glory was exactly as I remember it. I know from the look on my granddaughter’s face that this will become a cherished memory for her too. Every layer of the Knickerbocker Glory I had (we had one each) took me back to my childhood. It is exactly how I remember it. At under £5 it was excellent value. The Americana coffee I had was also excellent and at under £2 was good value. I want to thank the staff for making it such a wonderful visit for us. Everything about the place is how I remember, which is a good thing. Although young people were serving, good old-fashioned values are what shine through. I had a little chat about my history with the place with one of them and they were kind and attentive. I was told the parlour has been in business for 71 years. I hope they have another 71 as they truly deserve it.

Visited twice this year both times closed ! Wednesday july 10th arrived just before lpm closed .states 3pm on website . Dissapointed used to visit here in the 70s as a child on holiday .love the banana splits and hubby knickerbocker glory .childhood memories .😊.

Staff ok but the icecreams were dreadfull got 2 knickerbocker glories one with vanilla and other with strawberry icecream both had big lumps of ice pineapple pieces were very woody, sauce was very cheap processed stuff, and cream on top not very nice either theybwere £6.75 each for very poor quality ingredients. Do not recommend.

DOESN'T TAKE CREDIT/DEBIT CARDS. Great ice cream, but were only told after ordering and receiving ice creams that they don't rake cards. Waitress was very helpful (but did point me to a machine that charges) , but manager completely failed to understand why I was suggesting a notice on the window. They risk losing money- if I'd not had a my cash card with me we'd have had to walk out.

This is my most favourite place in the world best ice-cream or ice cream soda love the banana split. When you walk in it's like going back in time 1950's lovely I've been back again today I can honestly say that the 30 miles just to visit this ice-cream parlour was worth it, still the best banana split on the east coast. Worth every penny.

With out fail always port of call when ever visiting bridlington. Brings back childhood memories, the knickerbocker glory is not as big as it was back then i am now 43 😊 Still as yummy though. Hot chocolate lovers the best THE WORKS 👍

Great cafe! It would be a great place to do some work if you WFH during the weekdays, lots of room, lots of plugs and it’s super quiet in the day time. Unfortunately they have no wifi! If they got wifi, this business could definitely capitalise on the WFH population in rural areas. Shame!

Finally Market Weighton has a café with originality, flair and Sunday opening. The Gelato Lounge has a very welcoming atmosphere and style. The upstairs has several sofa and table arrangements and is very informal and kid friendly, without losing a sense of Alpine style. A server of Illy coffee and a good one at that. The Americano was spot on and the price per cup is standard cafe prices. The range of ice creams was a big hit for kids and bigger kids. There is a take out out service for coffee, ice cream and cakes etc. For those in a hurry or in walking/cycling gear, there are window stools. I understand there will be outside seating in the spring/summer. This will accommodate dog owners, dogs are not allowed inside. There is a great feeling that all are welcome. For great ice cream, coffee and cakes, give it a go. The kids will love it.

Stopped on our way to arram. Had one of the best gelatos I've ever had. Plus the milk shake was rather nice too. Thank you for service and atmosphere we totally loved it. Wish we lived nearer to visit more.

Very nice little place I found in Market Weighton while waiting for my car being repaired. Situated at the entrance to Tesco so very easy to find. Unusually Tesco do not have a cafe so this is a great location. I thoroughly enjoyed a piece of carrot cake and a pot of tea upstairs in this cafe. I was the only one up there but they were busy downstairs. Very good service from the staff which is always important. I will be back if I am back in the area.

Bar staff need a lesson on customer service. So rude. We were a group of 4 - and one of the drinks was very poor. Took it back to the bar ( barrel was changed during this pint being poured and it was a mix of the old barrel and topped up with the new) and for the sake of half a pint refused to replace it. Was hoping the beer would clear and it didn't which was the reason for returning to the bar, Ended up all of us leaving and going elsewhere where our custom was appreciated.

It's a poor show when you have to remind the business what their menu says you get with your meal that you've paid for. Also, there wasn't much choice on the pannini front if you don't eat pork. Disappointing.

Absolutely love this place!! Always super friendly, helpful staff. Fantastic range of ice creams (including vegan/dairy free). Coffee is gorgeous as are the cakes. Loads on offer and absolutely perfect place for kids and dogs alike 🤣. Usually a colouring competition available too. Seasonal goodies throughout the year so always worth a visit!!

Called in on my way from Skipsea to Sykehouse on my bike. Two bike racks outside which is always a bonus. Had a massive muffin with a scoop of chocolate ice cream and a flat white. The lovely lady filled my water bottle and even put some ice in it. I sat outside and chatted to some other customers. I could have quite easily sat there all day. It's not my first time calling here. I called in April when I cycled from Hull on the TPT. If you're doing the TPT this is an ideal stop and literally 2 mins from the trail.

£7.00 for a "full" English with only one sausage and one rasher of bacon, a fried egg that had gone hard and had the beans and tomatoes slung all over it. Toast arrived (cold) 10 mins before meal. The hash Brown was ok, as was the coffee. On the plus side, lovely location, friendly staff and spotlessly clean. Their cakes looked nice.

Started going there for a morning sandwich at £2.80 by card, the more you go the prices seem to rise and rise and rise, now standing at £4.00, safe to say I'm not going there any more and I go every Saturday, clearly make up their prices on the spot or however they feel like it. Even before I'm not sure where people are getting 'lovely staff' from either, don't seem to want to talk. Oh dear...

Called in for breakfast, toast came about 10 mins before breakfast and was cold. Breakfast was very average. Coffee was good. Other people looked to be getting cakes which logged very nice. I would call in again but not for breakfast.

Cramped seating inside and out . Interior is taken up with too much service space . Bad business model if you ask me . Panini had been microwaved instead of oven heated. Bread was inedible due to being over microwaved . Girl on till very friendly . Interior needs music as it is like a waiting room at times when nobody dare speak due to the lack of background noise . No atmosphere at all .

I had a few e-mails to answer and so popped into "At Temptations". For a village coffee shop, it's very good. Nice and clean and two lovely ladies to serve you. If you come to see the village, I would recommend that you pop into the place for a tea, coffee or even ice cream.

I got a waffle from here yesterday with maple syrup on it was really tasty the staff provided great service and the atmosphere was good.

Crepes are very good but prices don’t match what they show.. ordered 2 crepes which should of been £7 but was charged £9, probably a mistake as 2 different people served us, 1 served the other took payment but they didn’t seem to know who ordered what so probably some confusion behind the tills. Food is still good though

Was next door in tillys having a cup of tea .. When some ladie came and sat down and started to eat there own food... The owner came out and was very polite. I dint know why the owners daughter remarking and saying stuff (debbies donuts) The owner started having a go at the female owner of tillys ...... The husband came out and started to be abusive and aggresive..basically ran round to the male owner of tillys started to be abusive threatning to kick his head in and sort out .. He was well out of order a fat vile bully with a gob on him he was downright abusive and aggressive and rigjt in the owner of tillys face i intervened and told him he was commiting a public order offence... He soon disapeared when i told him id call the police. It was intimidating and wholly uncalled with. With a horrible nasty ugly vile person you are. Any way on my back i asked the owners of tillys wete ok ..and told then i was quite prepared to make acstatement to the police.. They said its ok hes always like that.. Why should on nasty hortible exscuse for a human being be allowed to intimadate and belittle fellow humans with violence and threats .. I am and will be taking this further with the pilice and local coyncil You need to be shut down he has no rigjt un doing this ..you horrible arrogant nast petson you and your daughter need sorting out in fact thst she was laughing whilst this was going on is despucable. Hed actually follwed the petson in his own shop and started on the wife and husband..

Found this place by accident and gave the Hazelnut and Toffee Milk chocolate bar a try. Visually it looks great, it smelt like the cheap advent calendar chocolate at first but thankfully it didn't taste like it. As a self diagnosed chocoholic, this is one of the nicest chocolates I've had. The price is quite steep, it definitely won't be a daily driver, but as a once in a while treat, worth it!

If you are looking for a treat and have a sweet tooth, have a trip to Trinity Market in Hull and try Cocoa Chocolatier & Bakery. Made on site, these absolutely delicious and beautifully presented treats are a joy to behold. Having visited and purchased a double chocolate cookie sandwich the previous day for my son, we had to make a second trip so he could get another. After he reluctantly agreed to give me a taste, I can honestly say this is the best Cookie I have ever tasted. (I will be buying one for myself next time as I could get a second bite) We also purchased a caramel scotch egg, which looks as amazing as it tastes and a vanilla cheesecake which was to die for. They also have a selection of brownies, flapjacks, beautifully handmade chocolates and a selection of Coffees. Throw in an amazing sausage roll and you have something for those who don’t have a sweet tooth. Trinity Market is a great place to support local, independent stalls and Cocoa Chocolatier & Bakery is definitely one that you should visit.

Another sweet Trinity Market venue: the chocolate itself was a bit too pricey, so I got an Orange Hot Chocolate that was ideal for the cold December afternoon.

My son and his partner have just open a new unit next door to what can only be described as a Chocolate Heaven ! So naturally, why wouldn’t you, bought me a box of their superb delights for my Birthday ! They are scrumptious ! Look like a work of art and taste absolutely divine ! No dry aftertaste that spoils most big box cheaper brands. These are the real chocolate deal, quality ingredient, worth giving up rest & savoring only the best ! Thank you Cocoa for making my Birthday just that little bit extra special !

Ordered the “Trinity Feast” boxes - one for myself and one for my boyfriend. They were a real treat!! So many different things to eat and all delicious. It was the best lunch we’ve ever had. Delivery was excellent and came within the estimated time which was great. I also ordered some extra brownies and chocolates which will be enjoyed at a later date! Will definitely be ordering again.

Wonderful Hotel Chocolat shop in the heart of Beverley. Even got to try a sample of the new Lemon Curd chocolates, which were absolutely delicious. Friendly staff who were very approachable and accommodating. ☆☆☆☆☆

Conveniently placed in the very centre of Beverley, this sells delicious, if a little expensive hot chocolate to take out, or to drink inside plus good coffee and ices-creams. The cups of hot chocolate are sadly of paper and the sizes offered are quite small for the price but in my view, it still offers the second-best hot chocolate available within Beverley town centre. It is a quality product although please note that seating at the rear of the shop is a little tight and somewhat limited. The service offered is friendly, efficient and very good. The chocolate free samples on offer were delightful and oozed quality. If you want to buy luxury chocolate products, there is much to choose from here. Choco-shakes: great for a treat…. occasionally! We had promised my grandson a visit to Hotel Chocolat in Beverley for a choco-shake. It is handy to reach in the centre of the town, with plenty of parking close by. So very conveniently located. It is quite small with limited seating capacity but modern and reasonably comfortable. Service is good. Consider obtaining a card for a 10% price reduction on the bill. My grandson chose a large salted caramel choco-shake with cocoa whip which was consumed very quickly and obviously enjoyed. He was eying another but was not going to get one! The adults chose the 70% dark chocolate shake as a treat and it was indeed a rich and delicious indulgence which we thoroughly enjoyed, until we later spotted the calorie count and wished we had chosen the regular rather than the large. The price of each large shake was £3.95. Choco-shakes are delicious but perhaps for the occasional treat only.

I have a velvetiser from them and bought their pouches all great and nice and had coffee and hot chocolate from them in store, ell very nice too, however every time I go to get a hot chocolate, at least 3 times now, they never have any chocolate whip available, surely you need to make sure you have enough. Seems to be a reoccurring instance on every visit.

The shop is absolutely packed today and over this Easter weekend. The girls in the shop are doing a great job. Keeping a smile on their faces and trying to get through orders quickly :)

First time coming here and I will be back! We were greeted by a lovely lady named Grace who showed us to our table. We were amazed by the cleanliness of the place and the speed of the service. Alex cooked our food and popped over to see how we were. Both lovely people and the food was gorgeous! Amazing prices and amazing service!

Gorgeous desserts, clean smart place. Really friendly waitress. I have a 3 star for atmosphere as there were only 2 tables in. We will return!

The food was very nice and presentable. The atmosphere was great as well. The lady who served me food was kind and pleasant but on arrival, the lady who allocated me a seating could have been more polite. We entered with drink in hand and some potato wedges which we bought in another shop to take home. As soon as we entered heavenly dessert, one of those ladies told us in a rude way with a stare that outside food cannot be consumed in their shop. We were not actively drinking or eating the outside food and even if she just wanted to convey that information she could have been polite. Felt insulting despite us not doing anything wrong.

Not usually a dessert person, but decided to go here with my girlfriend. The food was genuinely delicious, I also recommend the Supreme Earl Grey for any tea drinkers. Service was good, Krisha was very polite and checked in numerous times to see if we needed anything else.

got overcharged for an ice cream when it should have been £3 and got charged £9.25 instead and when I went to tell a member of staff I was told to speak to the manager and got told she was busy so I had to leave my name and number and said she will ring me soon. I never got a phone call and it’s been 3 days now of the repeat so my advice to you is if you go there please do not make any payments on card as you may be charged more then for what you actually payed for

Absolutely shocking ....2 so called large hot chocolates, which were a small and 2 eccles cakes £10.10!!!! I know we are in hard times and your trying to recoup wjat you have lost in lockdowns ,but that is daylight robbery and we wont be going back again. The hot chocolate was a basic cheap powder,no marshmallows or cream. Dread to think how much extra that would have been.

My boyfriend bought bottles of water from the shop next door while we were eating here (we had bought ice cream and waffles and milkshake) as this place didnt do card. My boyfriend was screamed at by a horrible moany member of staff and shouted at to not eat food when he was only carrying a bag that had bottled water in??? And asked why he didnt buy it from this shop? Could have just been given a friendly reminder not to eat instead of aggression over losing business. WE HAD NOT EVEN OPENED THE BAG TO GET WATER OUT SO NO ARGUMENT NEEDED Pathetic, need to learn some people skills. If you cant be nice to people dont work in this field!!! Disgusting

Came for afternoon tea, we are both vegaterian and this was catered for. The cakes are really tasty. It's a beautiful little place.

I bought some cookie pies and other bits recently and it was really nice to step in from a cold day and be greeted with a warm, cozy and charming café that’s beautifully decorated and girly. It feels like the perfect spot for a special treat. It feels like somewhere you could have a special occasion. As for the food, the cookie pie is very moreish, indulgent but also well balanced. I’m dreaming about the milky bar one now and excited to get another. Everything was really tasty and well presented. I was served with a smile and I have to say the staff were very patient as I kept adding to my order as items were being thoughtfully packed. I feel they were very professional but friendly. Everything is much improved since I visited around 6 months ago and I can’t wait to try the rest of what this beautiful little cafe has to offer.

Lovely shop. Went in for brunch with a few others. Had coffee and toast then a clotted cream almond scone which was the best scone I’ve ever had. Really fresh and soft inside. Everyone else enjoyed what they had and the staff were pleasant and friendly.

I don't live locally, but hull is good it seems for food, and this is by far the best afternoon tea I've tried. Brilliant afternoon tea, staff very welcoming and friendly. The Cafe was also clean and tidy which was nice My friend booked our table a few days before we sat and looked at menu's, we both ordered afternoon tea, too drink we had tea which was unlimited which is awesome, it was a really good sized tea pot, with milk jug. When our food came I was shocked by the sheer size of it, I don't think I've ever seen an afternoon tea this big , The tea had, multiple sandwiches egg mayo, tuna mayo, coronation chicken, my friend had cheese and tomato instead of the coronation chicken. There was also ham salad stuffed croissants. Then on the sweet layer, there was cookie pies, brownies, and cupcakes. Then on the top layer fruit stone with jam and cream, we had to get bags to take away most of the sweet as it's so much food. Definitely worth a visit I actually wonder if anyone has finished it, the cost was about £34.00 for both of us which is Brilliant, if you get the chance go because it's amazing. Thanks to the lovely owner and other lady for a welcoming friendly atmosphere and great food.

Very very disappointed ive ordered on just eat a delivery scheduled for 10:40pm as the shop closes at 11 and i was at work so had someone else pick up at door i ordered donuts and a crepe. The order said that its being delivered and that it was but i never got the order and they shut the store. I ordered at 7:30pm so they had enough time to prepare my order and send it out for delivery but never did. I usually have no problems and usually order for 10:30ish and i always get it but this time im just disappointed that they had 3hours to prepare and deliver my order. I love the deserts theyre so good but im disappointed with this customer service. Very unacceptable.

Dear the owner… We visited Planet Snax tonight 30/07/2025. The young girl (Ruby) was working by herself, she had orders coming out of her ears and a shop full of people. She absolutely smashed it out of the park while keeping a smile on her face. She is an absolute asset to your business. We do however feel having 1 person working during the summer holidays and on a Wednesday (which is the 1st day back opening after you have been closed for 2 days) is not fair to the person having to run the shop by themselves. Anyways the food was amazing as always and well done Ruby, you smashed it.

Absolutely shocking! Ordered off of just eats waited a hour and half! For our waffle and milkshake for it then to say delivered! I then have to drive to the shop about it! For them to tell me they have just delivered it. I then get home to the waffle being cold and the ice cream melted! Terrible service no number to contact regarding it and now out of pocket! They did offer a free waffle for the bad service but will never be going here again. I would prefer my money back than have that odeal

Daughter dragged me in for some ice cream but after seeing the selection, she ended up having to drag me out. Really friendly staff and the selection is all super high quality. It’s now our Wednesday after-school treat. Highly recommend if you live near Driffield.

I love this shop, always great service and amazing selection. Every time I go in they have something new and it’s a great place to go for gifts for family and friends. They always solve my leaving gift dilemmas.

I'm rating a 4 becuse there is many choices to pick from the only 2 problems i have is the prices are a bit overly priced not massively but a bit and when they first open if your there when they first open on the day it takes 3 hours for the slushy machine so you have to come back later so my suggestion is maybe get all things ready about 2 or 3 hours before you open

Had a lovely coffee and bite to eat in the Hotel Chocolate cafe. Friendly staff, spacious interior with decent seating. The food was great as was the coffee! No steps into the cafe so easy access and loads of room inside. Decent toilet facilities and parking is also easy given it’s on a retail park. Based on this visit, totally recommend.

Myself and 4 friends met in Hotel Chocolate Cafe for afternoon drinks and a chat. It was a very pleasant atmosphere. We had a chat and a laugh together. The lady preparing the drinks was very helpful. One of my friends' latte was cold, the lady appolised and said she would make another one after serving myself. Which she did. The only thing I can think would have improved the visit was the option to buy sandwiches or something besides cake to go with the delicious coffee. I do hope the people of Hull support this shop and cafe as the chocolates are amazing. Jeanette and friends from Hull.

I went to the to the EasterChocolate Experience at Hotel Chocolat at the Anlaby store today. Found it extremely informative and the staff were very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the products we were sampling. Thoroughly recommend this kind of event as was worth the £25 with drinks, chocolate we sampled, the slab we decorated to take home and a free splat egg. Plus a £5 voucher off anything purchased at the end of the event

A lovely place to shop as well as sit and have a drink. It is clean, well organised and the staff are always really friendly. There is plenty of space in the cafe area and it is dog friendly too, which is fab. There are vegan options in the shop and drinks options in the cafe for those who are dairy-free. I hope Hotel Chocolat will roll out a vegan cake and whipped cream option for the cafe in the near future as well as even more options in the shop.

Visited store today with my husband and sister-in-law for the “love match” chocolate tasting. The host Nicky was very informative & knowledgeable. We would highly recommend the experience. Nicky you are a great asset to Hotel Chocolat!

What can I say .. a fantastic experience in a new Hotel Chocolat store Anlaby . first of all the space is amazing ..really plush and very inviting. Coffee is my favorite pastime so I think I'm a pretty good judge. I visited the new store after a recommendation and took my husband and my daughter and my pooch (such great news to hear my pooch can go too!) Really enjoyed the experience and to buy some.chocolate too ..the staff were all amazing and expecting a new store to be busy everyone was great xx ❤️ I always check reviews and I'm glad I didn't take any notice of a few negative ones I read before I visited. I love this place , not only are the staff always happy, helping, friendly and welcoming- it’s is dog friendly and serves delicious treats and drinks and it’s always clean, tidy and looks great- other places really need to take note and step up- Their loyalty card is great and makes me keep coming back. (Also you can’t help but check the shop out ) which is my favourite chocolate box ever!!
