Nestled in Saskatoon, Calories Restaurant has been a beloved dining spot since 1986. The eatery is known for its commitment to using real ingredients and supporting sustainability and the local community. Its charming ambiance, adorned with colorful artwork, offers a delightful setting for savoring simple French dishes, baked goods, and delectable desserts.
Super dining experience for supper! Pictured are lobster ravioli, bison burger, eggplant & tomato dish, mushroom tagliatelle pasta, and trifle dessert. Tons of flavour in all dishes. And the appetizers were nicely portioned with light body, to assist in leaving room for the main and dessert course.

Gem of Saskatoon This was one of two restaurants that I had to visit during my brief visit to Saskatoon and it did not disappoint. Drink Chai latte - Just the right amount of foam - Cinnamon was the perfect addition Food Tomato Chickpea Soup served with Wild Rice Bread - Soup was warm and hearty, the perfect antidote to the cold winter weather - Tasted like something I would make fun scratch - pleasant tomato flavour - present but not overwhelming - Not too salty - Bread was fresh, has a nice crust, soft California Club Sandwich - Bread and ingredients fresh - Ingredients complimented eachother - The jalapeno lime mayo was unexpected but best surprise Fries - Thin cut - Potato skins left on - Well salted - House made ketchup - delicious - Heinz who? Rum and Raisin Cheesecake One word: delicious Service 5/5 - Staff worked as a team - Served by multiple team members but one member main person for our table - Everyone was warm, helpful, personable, attentive, checked in several times to make sure everything was to our liking In conclusion, this place is an absolute gem. There's no wonder it's been around for so long. This would definitely be a favourite if I lived in Saskatoon. A few minor things would have made my experience near perfect. Swap the deli turkey for real turkey breast, maybe swap the avocado for some kind of cheese. The fries were served warm which tells me they were out of the fryer for awhile before they made it on my plate and to my table. In the process, they lost some of their crispiness. To be enjoyed at their maximum, fries need to be served hot. Every second out of the fryer counts. Neither of these things were deal-breakers. They just might have made a great experience and excellent one. #supportlocal

4.5 overall. Wonderful menu that stands unique from other typical restaurant offerings. I would recommend the halibut dish if it's offered. Tasty, meaty, well balanced in flavours and well presented. Ample amount of seating but gets very busy - reservations recommended. The only thing that didn't hit the spot was the shmoo. I would recommend any of the cheesecakes instead. So many dessert choices make it an even better place to go to.
CY S — Google review
The menu has limited options for vegetarians abd vegans and the food is hit or miss. The brunch on weekends is nice and lively. Service is good overall and the waitress was friendly. Though popular with their dessert, I personally find it average.
Anas E — Google review
Overall I had a good experience. The food was good but expected better for the price. Atmosphere is fantastic and feels cozy. Would have liked if the server came to the table a little more frequently. I'd go back but am not in any rush. Good for a date night.

Let me start by saying these deserts made my knees weak and has me dreaming of my next visit to Saskatoon, as a matter of fact they were so good I'd fly there just for this and fly back home. This is a very quaint spot clearly popular with locals as its always busy with diners. I'm no stranger to deserts, I love artisan bakeries and pastry shops. and have had from places like this all over north america. These deserts were so delicious, im sure packed with "calories" but forget about that and indulge in carefully curated deserts made with real fresh ingredients and I could taste the love in these items. I was blown away and would have paid $20 per item and felt good about it. Hats off to the pastry chef who are creating these things. I will be back in October and I cant wait, this will be my first and last stop during my visit. Try to not love their deserts, I dare you!
Archibillis R — Google review
The place has a beautiful aesthetic and a great atmosphere. The staff are incredibly welcoming, and the toffee cheesecake is a must-try. Highly recommend!
Ravjot K — Google review
Calories has a really cute interior and a welcoming vibe, and the staff were all very kind and attentive. I ordered the local bacon eggs benedict, which came with home fries and their homemade ketchup. The flavors were nice, though the English muffin on the bottom was a bit tough and hard to cut through. My chai latte was beautifully presented, but I wished it had a stronger flavor to match the look. The rest of the table tried the grilled cheese and the frittata, and we finished with two cheesecakes — apple pie and Skor. Both were tasty, though the apple pie cheesecake leaned a little dry, while the Skor cheesecake had that rich, creamy consistency I expect. Overall, there were some highlights and everything was decent, but a few small tweaks could have made the meal more memorable.

D'Lish by Tish Cafe is a charming and cozy spot with an eclectic atmosphere, offering a variety of delicious food and drinks. The cafe is known for its incredibly tasty soups, with options like the regular soup served with bread or the larger soup as a full meal. In addition to soups, they also offer salads such as the Thai Chicken Noodle and a delectable selection of cheesecakes.
I got Soup & Panini ($18) and my friend got just the Panine ($14). It was D’lishious! I love how they have a planned soup menu! The restaurant is much bigger on the inside than it looks on the outside! If you are planning to sit in, I would recommend grabbing your table first and then ordering! It is a busy place even on a weekday afternoon! I didn’t try their baked goods but they also looked delicious and want to go back and try! I should have gotten some soup to-go! The Coconut Chicken Lime soup was SO GOOD! The paninis were good too - everything feels like comforting home cooking.

I ordered the chicken soup, the turkey club and the oat with rum latte. I was very satisfied. The place is definitely a spot to check out and is to true to its name!

They have an amazing and beautiful outside view. The cheesecake and coffee was so good. Chilling and healing atmosphere, highly recommend!!!

We went for a 1:30 Tuesday lunch here based on a recommendation. Street parking was manageable but we did have to park a couple of blocks away. We lined up to place a lunch order. Daily soup and salad options were written on a board and there were small menus on the wall where you line up. You order at the main counter and then try to find a place to sit. There were both inside and outside options although it was quite busy. I ordered the turkey soup and strawberry balsamic salad option and asked if it was all gluten free as “gf” was on the board. The gal said yes but when my plate was delivered it had a bun on it. They sell gf bread etc so I thought it was gf but asked a waitress going by just incase and she said NO it isn’t and brought me a slice of mainly frozen bread no butter or anything and it wasn’t very good so I only had a couple of bites. I am only gluten sensitive so this would not make me sick. If I was celiac, that would not work. The soup and salad were excellent. My husband ordered a roast beef sandwhich and said it was delicious. He also ate my bun! We were given one napkin between us which I thought was odd. The bathroom is hidden and behind the line up of people so not easy to get to. The decor/atmosphere is eclectic and rustic. Service was friendly.

I visited D’lish by Tish Café for breakfast and found it quite busy, which shows how popular the place is. Luckily, I was able to get a seat without much wait. I had a light breakfast, and the taste and quality of the food were very good. Overall, a pleasant experience and worth a visit.

Visiting my friend from out of town, she brought me to this lovely establishment. The ladies were so kind, and helpful! And the food was very tasty. I got a scone and a breakfast wrap, the scone was blueberry with notes of lemon!! How yummy is that?? And the wrap was warm, with cheese, bacon, egg and beans. I was happy, my tummy was happy.
Polina N — Google review
I visited D'lish by Tish on a beautiful June evening around 8:00 PM, just as the sun was setting — and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. I ordered the Salted Caramel Latte, and it was perfect. The sweet and slightly salty caramel blended beautifully with the rich espresso, creating a warm and comforting flavor. The milk was steamed just right, with a smooth and velvety foam on top — both delicious and visually pleasing. The atmosphere during sunset was something truly special. The golden hour light streamed through the windows and trees, casting a soft, warm glow across the space. It created a peaceful, almost magical vibe. The café had a cozy, relaxed feel with soft lofi jazz playing in the background — the perfect setting to unwind, chat with friends, or simply enjoy the moment. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and efficient. The space was clean and thoughtfully decorated, with attention to detail that made it feel both homey and stylish. If you're in Saskatoon and looking for a place to slow down and enjoy a summer evening, I highly recommend D'lish by Tish. It’s a hidden gem that captures the charm of golden hour in the best way possible.

Great place! We went a Sunday afternoon and, despite being quite busy, our order was prepared quickly. The soup and sandwiches we had were delicious. It is also very positive that they offer gluten-free (GF) bread. Although we didn't seat inside, the place looks very comfortable for it.

Bakery
Coffee shop
The Night Oven Bakery, founded by Bryn Rawlyk in 2014, is a unique establishment that embodies the traditional methods of renowned French baker Lionel Poilane. The bakery prides itself on crafting high-quality artisanal bread using wood-fire ovens and grinding flour from scratch twice a week.
A professional bakery in saskatoon! Making dome of the best baking and coffee you'll have... used to come to their first location and the quality was just as good there as is now! Nice to see an art form of bread in a grain province emerge with success 🙌
Bernard D — Google review
I recently visited Night Oven Bakery in Saskatoon and it was an absolute delight! Their mocachino was rich and beautifully balanced — creamy, with just the right amount of bittersweet chocolate and a perfectly pulled espresso. A great pick-me-up to start the day. The pastries were just as impressive. Each one tastes handcrafted and thoughtfully made. The buttery croissants had those signature flakey layers and a tender interior — exactly how a French‑style croissant should be
J R — Google review
Fresh bread!!! The sourdough, baguettes, croissants everything is so fresh and delicious. They also have day old bread at a cheaper price. I got the savory croissant & it was good but a bit pricey for the size. The iced lavender latte was super good—highly recommend! Seating is nice and airy but I couldn’t find any charging outlets so may not be the best for wfh/studying.
Dua A — Google review
Had my first visit there today. I arrived early in the morning so the parking was easy. However I’ve waited almost 10 minutes to be served as there was only one worker at the front and she was making coffee and grinding beans. I normally wouldn’t think about it but I was holding a very heavy baby, carrying a diaper bag and also trying to manage a roaming toddler. And I waited, waited and waited…. Until finally another worker from the back saw me and eventually greeted and served me. I asked if they had a high chair as I would have ordered a drink to sit down with my kids and unfortunately they didn’t have any one either. I ordered over $40 of goods and it felt very overpriced even given it’s organic. I would have a second thought if I wanted to visit next time.

There's a handful of spots I miss after moving from Saskatoon and this is one of them, they're excellent at balancing flavors and execute great technique in bread, pastry, and dessert crafting. Did they occasionally overcook/burn the bakes and pizzas in the oven and still sell them? Yes, but either way I'd die for one of their croissants right now.... And I greatly miss having a spot for purchasing freshly milled flour for my starter.
Rachel B — Google review
Visited becuase everyone seems to love it here. Got 2 baguette, a croissant and a rye bread. The people here are very friendly and the shop is very nice. It is a bit strange for a bakery to charge $0.5 for slicing bread though. The bread unfortunately is a let down. The croissant is incredibly dense, a bit soggy on the outside, not flakey and has a hint of bitter taste. The baguette has a nice crust but is also incredibly dense and the inside lack the chew of a good baguette. The taste of all their bread is also a bit strange, lacking the typical wheaty aroma found in freshly baked bread, might be a result of them using their own flour? It is nice for them to have a mill and makes organic flour on-site but the bread is unfortunately not as tasty.
Yuemin W — Google review
For 20 minutes I sat enjoying an Americano and had the weight of my week melt away. The baguettes I took home were amazing
Adam N — Google review
After working and school me and the boys decided to seek our fortune in pastry, we traveled across town to discover what new flavors we could introduce to our thriving pallets, to our surprise the night Oven was sitting in the corner. We only had half an hour to make our way before it was closed. the thought ran through my mind why would it be called night oven bakery when it's closed at night. Probably because they do all the baking at night I think I'm happy with that answer. Inside we were greeted with a friendly smiley face and we tried a delicious new French pastry.

Crave Cookies and Cupcakes has been praised for its exceptional baked goods, with customers claiming that they have never tasted a more delicious cake or cupcake in their 50 years of existence. However, recent visits to the shop have exceeded expectations, particularly with their red velvet cupcakes which were deemed the best ever tasted. Despite feeling apprehensive about telling their mother about this new discovery, they believe that bringing along some of these delectable cupcakes will help smooth things over quickly.
My wife ordered Red Valvet Cake from Crave to celebrate my son 1st birthday. That was incredibly delicious... the Red Velvet with Cream taste amazing everyone loved it Great job..

We ordered a cake online and the whole experience was amazing! The self-service online system was super easy and fast (10/10). When I arrived for pick-up, it was ready for me. The presentation of the cake was just as perfect as shown in the picture. And the flavor… I honestly have no words! It was even more delicious than I expected. the staff were kind and friendly. Highly recommended! 🎂👌🏻
Marian G — Google review
The cake was ordered for me for my birthday, couldn't even finish a bite. Looked pretty but felt the icing was made purely out of loads of sugar, the cake itself was flavourless with chocolate color(no evidence of chocolate). I have had some of the best chocolate cakes from Sobeys and Save on.
Simranjeet K — Google review
I’ve always loved their cupcakes, and we ordered a cake from them for the first time this past weekend. The cakes are a bit pricey, but amazing! And they feed a large crew. We fed around 50 people with a 10 inch cake and 18 cupcakes.
Jessica D — Google review
Great service. I went in to get a nice birthday cake for my wife and ended up leaving with the best red velvet cake I've ever had, along with a bunch of cupcakes and cookies. Everything seemed fresh and good value.
Wade H — Google review
Ordered a cake for friend's birthday. It was easy to order online and cake was ready on time. Service was okay, not bad, not good. Cake itself wasn't impressive at all. Yes, it looks good but doesn't taste good, too sweet and quite dry. Better than nothing I guess.
Maya J — Google review
In my 50 years I have never tasted a better cake or cupcake than what my mother made. Until today. My wife picked up some cupcakes for my daughters birthday. The red velvet was hands down the best cupcake I have ever tasted! I regret having to tell my mother about this. However I feel that if I bring along a few cupcakes like the ones I had it will smooth things over pretty quickly.

Darkside Donuts is a bakery in Saskatchewan that offers vegan donuts, although the flavors may change. They have a variety of delicious treats named after Saskatoon neighborhoods and are known for their friendly staff. The donuts are visually appealing, with options like darkside dip with sprinkles and rhubarb hibiscus coconut milk. The apple fritter is especially tasty, while the Boston Cream is exceptional and worth the higher price.
Known for their adventurous flavours and vegan varieties! For a special occasion I picked up a few Darkside Donuts. Purchased individually from the counter. The vegan ones are best fresh, can’t personally speak about the classic ones but the kids devoured every bite. We had: kiwi coconut glaze, an apple fritter and a Boston cream.
Joy L — Google review
Darkside Donuts absolutely blew me away! The donuts were next-level delicious — fresh, fluffy, and packed with amazing flavor combinations that you just can’t find anywhere else. Every bite felt like a little piece of heaven. On top of that, the service was fantastic. The staff were friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. Communication was smooth, and they made sure I left with exactly what I wanted (and maybe a little more than I planned because everything looked so good!). If you love donuts, this place is a must-visit. I can’t wait to come back for more!
Mark K — Google review
Amazing choices and original donut flavours. I purchased some letter donuts and they are my favourite.
Dustin H — Google review
Darkside Donuts has really lost the spark it once had. I don’t know if there’s been a change in ownership, but the quality and creativity just aren’t there anymore. The Sunday Fun Donuts and seasonal flavors used to be something you couldn’t wait to try — now they feel rushed, lazy, and uninspired. What used to be a fun treat has turned into something that simply isn’t worth the money or the hype.
TYLER O — Google review
Great doughnuts worth every penny, unfortunately the person serving me today seemed less than receptive when I walked in. Had to wait until she finished stacking cans of something at the counter before she even acknowledged me, and I was the only one in the shop.
Ron S — Google review
Just stepped into this donut haven after countless passes, and wow, what a discovery! The welcome was as warm as their freshly baked donuts. Opted for the daring bacon-on-a-donut combo—surprisingly awesome. Grabbed it to go, but you've gotta experience it firsthand. No pics of what I got lol, just go see for yourself! Loads of options, a fun bite, and the perfect do-nothing indulgence. Highly recommend! 🍩
The A — Google review
Part of a little hip and trendy food mall, Darkside Donuts is a great place to pick up delicious creations made daily. An award winner for Best Artisan Donuts in 2019 watch out for Sunday's special surprise creation that you need to order on Sunday but they are one offs and one of a kind. The flavours were so good. We had so many hard choices we ordered half a dozen and savoured every one of them. You can tell we weren't the only ones that loved these as there was a constant crowd which you knew made these worth the wait. If you need something to chase these donuts they also serve up hot and cold beverages.
Dylan S — Google review
Unfortunately, I have to say that I was disappointed in DarksideDonuts. I ordered a variety of six donuts and all but two of them were dry which leads me to believe that they were day-old donuts. I know that they strive for unique flavors but honestly some of them were just strange. I can get past that, but a day old donut is unacceptable.

Today I acquired a cake from Cesar's Cakes & Café at approximately 6pm. It was my initial encounter with their confections, and I requested a reduction in sweetness and an enhancement in aesthetic appeal. I am delighted to report that they accomplished both objectives, rendering the cake exceptionally attractive. I strongly recommend visiting this establishment for delectable cakes and other gastronomic delights. The personnel exhibited remarkable kindness and courtesy.
Cesar’s Cakes & Café made my daughter’s birthday extra special with two absolutely delicious cakes. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the presentation was beautiful. Both cakes were moist, flavorful, and clearly crafted with care. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring everything was just right for our celebration. Highly recommend them for any occasion!

Cesar’s Cakes and Cafe did our wedding cake and it was absolutely amazing! We picked up the cake about a half hour before our pickup time and we loved how it looked! We wanted fresh flowers adorning the cake and they looked fresh and no wilting. The flavour was ube macapuno and it was delicious as well. A definite highlight to our wedding. While we were moving it we squished the box a little bit but the cake still looked fantastic. Would recommend!

Bought tons of food worth $200+ today. Siopao was great but the rest of the Filipino food I ordered was not the best Filipino food I tasted. There was a hair on one of their halo halo (I ordered 2 halo halo both was not the best but at least the other one doesn’t have a hair!) Overall, such a waste of money!! Very disappointing!!

Little Bird - Pâtisserie & Café inside The Shoppe is a charming and art-decorated cafe located in Saskatoon, known for serving the best French pastries, soups, sandwiches, and high tea on Sundays. Situated in the Adilman building at the corner of 20th Street and Avenue B, this café offers a wide selection of delectable pastries, tarts, breads, macarons, cookies, and more.
Lovely cafe with lots of pastries to choose from. I came here to buy the cake in box for my partner. The staff here are friendly and helpful in recommending which cake in a box suits my requirements. Thanks to the crew here.

Been here a few times now. Today got a little treat. We got the giant cream puff. We got the raspberry filled jam. It was quite well made in terms of texture and good amount of filling inside. However, The guy at the front desk was very rude for no apparent reason. It was very upsetting as we could clearly notice the change in demeanor with other customers. Love the pastries but don't think will be back. Places like these solely run based off of customer service and wouldn't like to be at the receiving end of disappointing interaction.

Don't search for a spot labeled "Little Bird"; that's “the shoppe”! I have a fondness for croissants and Nutella, so I got their hazelnut croissant with an Americano. Unfortunately, it turned out quite tough and challenging to slice. I requested a sharper knife, but that didn't solve the problem either. It was too chewy! Regrettably, I couldn't complete my meal, which was a bit disappointing. On the bright side, the staff was exceptionally friendly, and the atmosphere was charming, tidy, and delightful!

One of my favourite coffee shops in Saskatoon. Love the decor and all the amazing paintings that give so much love to the place. The pastries are delicious and will get you addicted. For sure try them. Highly recommend.

Stopped by for a Cruffin! It was so delicious and worth it for $6. The staff were all very nice and the interior is so fun and trendy. Haven't tried any candy and other items. Again, stuff is a bit expensive but I'll definitely want to come back to try!

Nice atmosphere. Good pasteries. A friend recommened it while i was in town. Mind you, it is a bit pricy, however, it does come with the experience. Taking to account my preferences, i would be less inclined to eat in and opt for to go. There was nothing really exceptional to merrit a 5 star. However, i would most deffenitely return. ***Update*** a lot can change in 5 years. The Decore and everything is completely different. It is now inside a hotel/building next to Remai. Still good

I have been into the city 2 weekends in a row now and both times drove to enjoy one of my favorite spots and then get there to see a sticky note on the door that they closed at 9pm. If you have different hours UPDATE THEM ON HERE!

Once you enter the little bird patisserie the question begs to mind. What kind of bird could it be? the general ambiance of the venue is shabby chic with modern components. The high whit cealings and butifull painting's make this open space excellent for a date or unique place ti take a business companion. The small menu was more than adequate for my platter and i was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the meal and dessert along with phenomenal presentation. I will be back to try the rest of the menu. good job guys I still dont know what kind of bird but it would have to be a pretty one.

Best Cakes & BestSelfie Coffee House in Saskatoon prides itself on precise and exceptional baking, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for its customers. Customers have raved about the accommodating service, with one customer praising the shop for creating a custom DuckTales cake on short notice that was both delicious and visually stunning. Another customer commended the top-notch service received when ordering online from another country, highlighting the beautiful packaging and delicious macaroon cupcakes.
It was an amazing experience visiting at the cafe. Lady who was working over there had got an excellent customer handling experience. Must visit the store. I got the cupcakes that was very delicious. She decorated the cupcakes for birthday and it was looking beautiful and tastes great.

I can't say enough how amazing this business is from start to finish. I went there to ask if they could custom make a DuckTales cake for my daughter's birthday that was only 3 days away. And they not only were super accommodating and able to make the cake but made one of the nicest and tastiest cakes I've had! I think the cake was my daughter favorite part of her entire birthday. So thank you for being so great at what you do and for making my little girls special day extra special. Amazing detail on the cake aswell. It turned out so awesome!❤️

People working at the best cakes are amazing! Top class service, very polite and attentive. Had ordered some customized cupcakes of specialty flavors. Loved the quality and perfect flavor! Cutesy little cafe. Enjoyed a lot. Would highly recommend it. Will be visiting again for sure 👌
Megha R — Google review
Macaroons were hollow and crispy, pistachio filling had an odd taste and white moldy looking bits. It also hardened after two hours in the fridge! Cupcakes were so dry, the rest of my order is probably all going to garbage unfortunately. Update: Pictures of Macaroons included. All of them are hollow, crispy and hardened after couple hours in the fridge.

Excellent service. All done by phone and text. Cake was moist and delicious. Icing was also delicious and not overly sweet. Gorgeous decorating. I would definitely recommend Best Cakes
Faye C — Google review
Design of the cake was incredibly awesome and unique but taste was normal. The employee was so patient and talented because she prepared a cake for me in 20 mins. She even printed a “Happy Birthday” in Persian on a fondant sheet. A special place to order special cakes. This cake costs $60.00 and great for 10 people.
Naz H — Google review
Terrible. Our cake fell apart and collapsed in on itself. Decorations peeled off and cake looked terrible. When we called to ask for our money back or at least a discount we were told they could replace it with a frozen basic chocolate cake and would not be refunding us anything. Paid full price for a custom professional cake and got a sad looking, dry bland tasting, expensive mess.
Casey M — Google review
The macarons were good with large variety of flavors. Not too bad cupcakes. Made an online order and some of the items were not available. Instead of refunding the items that were unavailable I was told I would not be able to refund the items, but had to choose other items to replace them. I recommend not ordering online since you might not end up with what you want without the possibility of refund.

Grandma Lee's Bakery & Cafe, located in Saskatoon, is a delightful and charming spot known for its homemade bread, pastries, and savory dishes. The cozy atmosphere makes it a popular choice for both locals and visitors seeking comforting flavors reminiscent of home-cooked meals. Whether you're looking for a quick bite or a leisurely brunch, this cafe is the perfect place to satisfy your cravings with fresh ingredients and friendly service.
Picked up this delicious lunch for a catering order and couldn't have been happier. Service was incredible. Went above and beyond and ensured all details were correct.

ordered a chili. tasted horrible. pure tomate paste with few beans and beef. I'm used to having Chili at Grandma 's lee at market mall and the Centre and it's delicious . anyways, 2 star because they changed for a chicken soup. but it didnt taste good either. on the top of that , lady got my bread with her unwashed hands. Friendly staff , but they need more training and Hand washing.

How in the F is a small friken sandwich and a hand full of soup $15!??? There won't be a next time. Used to be a fave spot for good ol soup n Sammy. But $15! I'll go to Quiznos of and other sandwich place that has full size 12" sandwiches. And they didn't even offer a pickle this time! Boo... Shame on you grandma Lee.
Zaqary420 D — Google review
Ordered two sandwiches on multi grain bread. Bread was so dry we could only eat the centres of the sandwich. My egg salad only had a minimal scoop of filling that was concentrated in the centre. We paid nearly $25.00 for our lunch. Will definitely not be going back. Even with the promise to improve, I am still out my money ...
Donna B — Google review
Gave 1 star for food due to eating at different place, glad I did because someone who worked there was STANDING on the counter BAREFOOT writing something on the menu - you probably should invest in a ladder or borrow one from the mall.. not impressed
Courtney F — Google review
Friendly and fast service and sandwich ingredients are always FRESH. A very nice break from the rest of the fried options in a food court
Rheanne H — Google review
They gave my food cold and were speaking rudely with me telling me to leave cause they had other customers, but they hadn’t even given me all my food. I am never going back.

Disappointed when I received a super tiny puffed wheat square. Thought these used to be a standard size that were double the size

Pizza restaurant
Established in 1932, Saskatoon's well-known Christies Bakery has been operated by the Muzzolini family since 1966. Presently led by siblings Blair and Tracey, this bakery also operates Il Secondo, a popular establishment situated near bustling Broadway Avenue. At Il Secondo, customers can indulge in delicious sourdough breads, Italian pastries, baked goods, and wood-fired Neapolitan pizza.
I am so glad the city has such a great bakery. I don’t think you can go wrong with any of their menu items. It’s not just a bakery spot, It’s our favourite sandwich spot and our favourite pizza spot, too! The Cousin Vinny sandwich has this butter scallion oil that makes it soooo delicious. Love their chocolate croissant, too. We always buy a few of the frozen pepperoni pizzas to keep at home, pricey but I’m picky when it comes to pizza. I haven’t tried their soup. And the all dressed baguette is the best thing ever. You have to go early because it sells out fast. This place has such a clean, friendly and cute vibe for stopping in to grab something quick, eating in, or sipping your coffee from the outdoor seating in the summer time soaking in Broadway vibes.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Christies Il Secondo, located at 802c Broadway Ave, Saskatoon, and I must say it is, in my opinion, the best bakery in the city. The establishment offers a delightful variety of bread and numerous drink options. On Saturday, I visited for a quick coffee, accompanied by a guest from another city. I was thoroughly impressed by the quality of both the coffee and the bread, which were simply perfect. Despite arriving close to closing time, the staff remained friendly and patient, allowing us to enjoy our time without feeling rushed. The washroom was impeccably clean, and our food was served promptly. I am truly glad I chose Christies Il Secondo to host my guest, as it provided a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Being at Christies is always a safe bet.

I was strolling down Broadway when I spotted this place and decided to give it a try. The aroma of the restaurant was absolutely divine! I went for the ‘Uncle’ dish on their menu, and it was absolutely delicious!

Stopped in for some delicious pastry and coffee. It's always a good sign when there is a line up outside! Delicious cinnamon buns and danishes so good my son went back for seconds. He recommends the saskatoon berry danish. It was a cozy spot to start our day on a cold morning.
Meggan B — Google review
I showed my friend from a different country around the city and wanted to introduce her Christie's Bakery, which is one of my favourite places. This place didn't let me down and showed her the charm of this shop. Christie's carries various artisan bread, drinks but also offers a unique style of baking their pizza. We had margherita pizza and it really hit the spot. Definitely a great place for a date or just a meetup.
Nichole S — Google review
This is my fourth visit to Saskatoon and I always come to this little bakery/restaurant. The food is fresh and yummy. They offer variety of food, vegetarian options and also beer. I am looking forward to my next visit of Saskatoon! Thank you Christie’s lol Secondo!

Great spot for lunch. Dining area is nice. Pizza is good.
Jessica D — Google review
Great panini, great Danish, and a lovely coffee. The order taker and the fella who brought it over were excellent. They forgot to bag my Danish, and when I went up to the counter, a woman with glasses asked "is there something you need?" in an oddly sarcastic tone. After 30 years in the industry, that kind of attitude can get bent. Everything else was exceptional.
