Restaurant
The Cajun House in St. Albert, Alberta, Canada offers traditional Southern cuisine in a charming dining room adorned with artwork and high ceilings. This restaurant is perfect for those who love to explore new tastes and experiences. Whether you're looking for a quick bite before hitting the road or a relaxed setting to unwind, The Cajun House has got you covered. The atmosphere is cozy and family-friendly with both indoor seating and outdoor patio options.
I found this place by searching “Restaurants in st.albert” the Cajun House showed up in Trip advisor's 10 Ten Places.. so looking at the menu and the images on their Facebook we decided to try it out! We came from an hour away (Pigeon Lake) and boy this place did not disappoint! When you walk in they have awards hanging by the Reception area, the dining area has large windows and is very clean! The waitress never let our drinks get to the bottom and constantly topping up. She was knowledgeable in her recommendations. My husband had the jambalaya and I had a season special which was the maple pork tenderloin, we shared the Alligator Sausage and the pumpkin cheesecake! All I can say is this place is amazing!!!! And overall exceeded every expectation!

When you want authentic Louisiana style food.. this is the place to go. The chef trained in Louisiana and brought with him some of the best dishes to St Albert. It's not like going to Taco Bell and thinking that's Mexican food!!! This is as real as it gets . And you can't beat it . We started with some crab cakes .. damn they're delicious. I had the combo of jambalaya, shrimp Creole , red beans and sausage... If you can't decide what to get.. try this .a little taste of everything. My friends had the pecan crusted chicken and it looked amazing.. We actually haven't been here in awhile and the food was always on point just like this time . The place really hasn't changed at all . . Why mess with a good thing . For me . A true test of cleanliness is the bathroom .. and it was spotless . Service was great and attentive. We didn't feel rushed or were an inconvenience. If you want to experience true Louisiana cooking.. go here .

I had an amazing dinner at The Cajun House in St. Albert! The vibe was warm and cozy—perfect for a relaxed night out. I ordered the Shrimp Creole, and it was packed with flavor and just the right amount of spice. You can really tell the food is made with care, and everything tasted super fresh. My husband ordered the Chicken Po’ Boy, which is his favorite dish at his favorite place to eat! He loved it—crispy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The service was excellent—friendly and attentive without being overbearing. They made sure we had everything we needed and genuinely cared about our experience. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting to find such authentic Southern flavors in St. Albert, but The Cajun House completely delivered. We’ll definitely be back to try more dishes! Highly recommend this place if you’re craving something bold and delicious.

I my coworkers and myself found this place close by our work site and stopped in for supper. The food was delicious and authentic Cajun. We had the jambalaya, pork tenderloin and Blacken Chicken Caesar. If you looking for bold flavours and good food, I would definitely recommend it.

We had an amazing dinner with friends. The service was excellent. The food was better! The steak was done to perfection. The special was sea bass, soooooooo delicious. And don't forget the white chocolate filo wrapped cheesecake with raspberry coulis! It is made in house and it is to die for!!
Lise S — Google review
The food is amazing and the staff was friendly and accommodating. It's a bit pricy but it does lean towards fine dining and it is quality. Had a combo platter with a cup of soup and the portion size was generous

We have been enjoying the award-winning Cajun experience for over 30 years! A great menu with a variety of portion sizes, delectable daily and seasonal specials, a superb children's menu, replete with gluten free options and a wine list and bar service @ reasonable prices. And the desserts? Outstanding! A great place for lunch or dinner!
Andrew R — Google review
Went out for a nice dinner here. The gumbo is delicious and the entree portion sizes are quite generous. The food was great! The service was excellent, very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice, not too loud despite being busy while we were dining.

XIX Nineteen is a top-floor restaurant in The Enjoy Centre, St. Albert, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the city. It's known for its luxurious brunch experience with dishes like Lobster Eggs Benedict and Truffle Scrambled Eggs. The elegant atmosphere and attentive service make it a perfect place to make anyone feel like royalty while enjoying a high-end dining experience.
Came here for my birthday dinner and we were not disappointed. Everything from the appetizers to the mocktail, to the entrees and dessert were excellent. The service was incredible. The only downside was that it was very loud. We came for a romantic date night and almost had to yell at each other to be heard. There was a large party of women celebrating a birthday though and was of no fault of the establishment. Excellent food, excellent service.
Nicole S — Google review
Came here for a birthday dinner and it did not disappoint. When we walked in we were greeted with a smile and very friendly host. We made a reservation and were seated as soon as we arrived. I came with my girlfriend and ordered the risotto and mussels to start with and they were delicious. Risotto was rich and not starchy whatsoever, the beef short rib was very tender and was a great temperature when it arrived to our table. It stayed hot while we ate between the mussels and the risotto. The mussels were also just as good, but I would prefer 3-4 pieces of bread to soak up the sauce the mussels were in. The fries that came along with the mussels were also solid. They weren’t greasy nor starchy and very enjoyable to snack on as we waited for our mains. I had ordered the aged 10oz picanha and she ordered the balsamic chicken and we received both around the 40 minute mark. Presentation was nice, steak was very tender and a perfectly cooked rare. The crispy artichokes weren’t my thing but my girlfriend loved them although everything else on the plate was delightful. The potato purée was as smooth as I had expected and the flavor was even better than I had anticipated. The balsamic chicken was cooked to a perfect temperature and was very juicy. The skin was a great crisp and even with the balsamic glaze it did not become soggy whatsoever even til the end of the meal. The crispy brussel sprouts were a favorite and their was a blanket all across the plate which we loved. The atmosphere was very pleasing and the lighting certainly made the food more appealing. It was very loud inside the restaurant and found that we had to really raise our voices to hear each other and ended up sitting closer to one another. Overall, it was an amazing dinner and a great experience. I will definitely be coming back soon!
Alec R — Google review
Delicious high-quality food and wonderful service! We’ll definitely be back! The rack of lamb was so tender, I think you could cut through with a butter knife. Absolutely cooked to perfection!
Payton — Google review
Food was incredible. Service was impeccable with timeliness on serving drinks\starter\entrees as well as clearing the table. Everyone was lovely. We ordered the croquettes, the feature which was halibut and a starter sized short rib risotto (I don't eat a whole lot but my partner still helped me finish my meal). My partner enjoyed the old fashion and I enjoyed the snow-jito. We left there feeling great about the meal we had and look forward to going back sometime

XIX Nineteen in St. Albert offers an exceptional dining experience that seamlessly blends culinary excellence with outstanding service. From the moment you step into the restaurant, you're greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that sets the stage for a memorable meal. The menu is a testament to the culinary team's creativity and attention to detail. Each dish is thoughtfully crafted, bringing together old favorites and new discoveries that delight the palate. The Ahi Tuna Twists, featuring spicy Thai noodles, Asian slaw, and cilantro aioli topped with seared tuna, are a standout starter that perfectly balances flavors and textures. For the main course, the Alberta AAA Beef Tenderloin is a must-try. Served with truffled potato egg roll, organic carrot confit, wild mushroom ragout, and veal reduction, this dish showcases the finest local ingredients prepared with finesse. The service at XIX Nineteen is equally commendable. The staff is friendly, efficient, and attentive, contributing to the restaurant's well-managed atmosphere. Whether you're dining in the unique and beautiful dining room or the intimate lounge, the team ensures that your experience is nothing short of exceptional. In addition to its regular menu, XIX Nineteen offers daily specials that provide excellent value. For instance, on Wednesdays, guests can enjoy half-price bottles of house wine, making it an ideal day to explore their curated wine selection. Whether you're planning a corporate function, fundraiser, private party, or special event, XIX Nineteen is the perfect venue. Their innovative menu options and welcoming service ensure that your special day is one to remember. In summary, XIX Nineteen in St. Albert delivers a dining experience that is both sophisticated and approachable. The combination of delectable food, attentive service, and inviting ambiance makes it a top choice for anyone seeking a remarkable meal in the area.

It has been quite a while since we dined at XIX but glad we gave it another try as everything was delicious! We had the new menu item, Lobster Risotto and the Tenderloin steak. Lots of lobster and scallops in the Risotto with a delicious sauce and the steak was done to perfection. Great service as well.

We tried the chef’s special appetizer and it did not disappoint! Our server was super friendly and happy to offer suggestions. Both of our meals were delicious! I would have given 4 3/4 stars if I could.

Don't forget to indulge in their renowned brunch cocktails like the Margarita Flight and Bloody Maria, which perfectly complement your meal.
Dear Lord this was amazing!! Quick day date with my love The staff was awesome with great recommendations that were spot on We got 3 tacos each but that was too much, 2 is enough for a full meal. We had the carnitas, el pastor and fish taco and they were full of flavor and meat. Can't wait to go again today 🤣 We don't live anywhere near but happen to go through St Albert for Costco so was a great find.
Tara M — Google review
First time at the restaurant, had the Queso Fundido as pictured and a couple Superior Margaritas. Was disappointed with the taco chips as they are just store bought , one would think they would be homemade in a restaurant like this. Queso sauce was very bland and flavourless, same with the salsa. Drinks were good but at $ 17 bucks a pop they should be. Also had Chick al pastor and the Carnitas tacos , both not pictured . They were actually pretty good. The young man serving , also made the drinks, his service was excellent .Over all at around $ 100 bucks for lunch, not somewhere I would go back anytime soon.
Gerald S — Google review
The waitress was extremely knowledgeable and the menu is very GF friendly. It was so delicious, I enjoyed the Mexican street corn for an appetizer and the Chicken Tinga Salad. Both were great dishes!
Keri P — Google review
I guess it is okay, if you're not looking for mexican food. Service was good. That's pretty much it. If you're into tostitos cheese dip heated up and mixed with something (unknown stuff) then get the queso fundido. If you enjoy BBQ sauce on your "mexican street corn" then this is it. As for the tacos, maybe a salad would be nice. I wouldn't know. Wish I would've tried that. Worst 70+ spent. Agree to disagree. Happy ordering!
Miche A — Google review
Credo has a very good reputation in St. Albert but after 3 visits I would rate it as just a little better than O.K. Service is good but when there is more than a couple of people there it is very noisy. Menus seem to have been printer on cheap paper by a home printer that is running out of ink. The tacos taste ok but contrary to the “loaded” claim they are not particularly well stuffed. At least that was the case in my most recent lunch time visit.
Bob B — Google review
5 stars all around. Service was friendly and quick, the food was amazing, and definitely a great experience eating here. I had the chorizo tacos and ear of corn, it was the some of best food I’ve had in awhile. I’ll be back for sure!
Anonimus 1 — Google review
The Carnitas tacos here are bomb. Meat was moist tender. Toppings went well with the pork. Chorizo sausage taco was decent. Sausage was on the drier side. They were in the process of moving, so didn't have some tacos/ingredients. The nachos came out promptly, however the tacos took a while to come out. I'd probably give this place another try after they move to their new location.
David W — Google review
Credos Tacos & Tequila. If you love tacos, this place is for you. Lots to choose from. The Gringo tacos are my favorite along with a lime slushy margarita! New location is right across from Costco. I highly recommend this place.

The vibrant restaurant scene in St. Albert thrives on innovation, and Riverbank Bistro stands out as a testament to this trend, providing delicious dishes that reflect global influences while celebrating local ingredients.
Very cute place to dine! We went on a casual date night, it was a great experience. Great Food! I would definitely say the salmon was on the saltier side. However both the fish and chicken dishes were juicy and tender. Definitely on the pricier side and you will have to wait for a bit as the meals took a while to come out.

Absolutely delicious!!! My husband and I came here for our first wedding anniversary, very intimate setting and the food was amazing! The burrata appetizer just melts in your mouth… I couldn’t recommend the food more!
Jolene M — Google review
We celebrated my parents' 50th wedding anniversary at Riverbank Bistro, and it was truly spectacular! We reserved the restaurant and patio side, where we carefully selected a menu and drinks that perfectly complemented our celebration. The ambiance was warm and inviting both inside and outside, and the patio setting enhanced the entire experience. Each hand-picked dish of the high-end appetizers was delicious, and the quality and presentation of the cocktails, wine, and beer were impressive. The service surpassed our expectations – it was exceptional! Dan, the owner and chef, exemplified professionalism and made the planning process seamless, as well as the management of the party. We wholeheartedly recommend Riverbank Bistro for any dining experience or special occasion. You won’t be disappointed! Enjoy!

Had wonderful birthday dinner. Food was great quality, service was above and beyond, drinks were nice. Would love to come back in summer when the patio is open.

The food here is great. The atmosphere is dark and dusty. I wish there was more view of the river and the beautiful greenery! It would really brighten this place up and give it some charm.
Jola A — Google review
This is a fantastic experience and is worth the drive from anywhere. We’ve been here multiple times and the food and service are amazing every time without fail. This is a must visit❣️
Mike T — Google review
Excellent food, excellent service. The atmosphere could be a bit more intimate. The appetizers and main course were amazing, the dessert was good but didn't live up to the other courses. They could do with a larger selection of non-alcoholic beer and cocktails. Overall an amazing experience and we will definitely be back. Update: we had our anniversary dinner last night in the lounge. The atmosphere was more intimate and quite lovely. They have updated their mocktail menu and their non-alcoholic beer selection. We had mushroom bruschetta to start, which was lovely with a beautiful mushroom flavor. The sourdough from breadlove was top-notch. I had the fish feature, absolutely delicious. The flavors were just perfect. My partner had the pork schnitzel and said it was very good. The creme brule for dessert was also very nice. One of my favorite restaurants for quality and flavor while remaining affordable. I'm excited to see their winter menu!
Nicole S — Google review
The Riverbank Bistro is situated along a river, therefore has beautiful views. The atmosphere is very traditional, warm and friendly. The food was excellent, great value for the price. The only downside, the service was a bit slow, so I wouldn't dine there if I was in a hurry. However, the waitress was very accommodating and friendly. I definitely recommend it.

La Crema is a high quality cafe that offers great coffee and delicious food. The staff are friendly and polite, and the washroom facilities are always clean. It's currently not possible to dine in, but that will change in the near future. The atmosphere of La Crema is great, with a warm and cozy feel.
This place is the heart and soul of downtown St. Albert. Such a lovely place to sit and enjoy their PHENOMENAL coffee as well as amazing assortments of snacks. We would recommend the caramel macchiato or the caramel latte with oat milk, both were absolutely wonderful. The ham croissant was also amazing. Every song they played slapped so hard and the decor is so cozy and homely. Their little treat selection looked so sublime, we were too full after our sandwiches but can’t wait to come back to try them! Would recommend!
Olivia — Google review
What a delightful lunch spot! Everything was perfectly splendid. You can truly tell that they put lots of love into what they do. This spot also makes such a wonderful place for a coffee date.
Phebe — Google review
Local, great atmosphere, friendly staff. Trying for the first time! I am impressed. It’s not easy to get a good matcha latte. They will make with custom sweetness which is really important to me! It’s a busy Saturday, with the Farmers Market but they have tons of staff and the wait time is not long at all. I will certainly be back!
Shellie C — Google review
Ordered a cappuccino and a vanilla pumpkin spiced latte. The cashier was very nice and friendly, but the overall service wasn't good, especially for the price. It wasn't busy at all, but we waited over 20 minutes for our order that came out in to go cups instead of mugs and we really didn't feel like they cared at all because they just said; "my co-worker messed up and put them in to go cups, but the coffees will be ready in a couple minutes" the pumpkin spiced latte was terrible compared to the previous time I was there, and the cappuccino was way over-steamed/too hot. 2 stars because the cashier was kind and the atmosphere was great aside from needing cleaning. I would not recommend this shop, I'd recommend going to whisk and get a way better coffee with better service and a cleaner place.
Lowell S — Google review
This is a very cute cafe with well thought out decor. The customer service is super sweet, and they make sure that you're not waiting forever for your order. There's a great variety of seating which is all very comfortable, including the tucked away booths. The music is set at the perfect volume and has some great choice of songs and melodies. The food and drinks are nice and filling, I love a good soup of the day. Parking is quite easy to find, and there's not too much traffic in the area. I'm glad a place like this exists, I'll definitely be back again.
Alice — Google review
Very cute and quiet place for a coffee. The decor is genuine and locally made, which gives it an inviting old-time feeling. The mugs are a nice touch. The neighbourhood is welcoming and the perfect place for a stroll if you were to take your coffee to go. I ordered the breakfast wrap which was mediocre, nothing to write home about. That’s the only reason I wouldn’t give it a full 5 starts. Next time I’d like to try the breakfast bagel which seems to be the most popular. The coffee itself tasted great. Bold and well made. Prices are comparable to any other cafe. An extra shot of espresso $1, which is reasonable. I would definitely order again if I’m in the area.
Sydney B — Google review
This is a great cafe and study spot in St. Albert! The atmosphere is great and the food and drink options are great! They offer plenty of gluten free desert options (I cannot vouch for the lunch options since I haven't had any) I have had many different drinks from here and they've all been very good! I recently started my matcha journey and tried the strawberry matcha the other day. I think if I didn't get oat milk it would have been better, the oat milk they use has a very strong oat flavor that is almost overpowering (and it does not use certified gluten free oats) other than that it was delish
Anna F — Google review
This place is a favorite of a friend of mine, who is a local. I can see why it's a repeat visit kind of place! Great food and café variety drink selection. Creative tasty sandwiches, soup, salads, baked treats, and even quiches! Hidden in the heart of St. Albert's old downtown and around the corner from a more traveled road. A true gem that's worth going back again over and over, and hardly wanting to get the same thing twice! So much goodness to choose from! I'm already hungry for the next visit! 😋

I had a great experience! The milkshake was delicious—creamy, flavorful, and just the right consistency. What really made the visit stand out, though, were the two lovely ladies working there. They were incredibly attentive, hardworking, and genuinely friendly. Their positive energy and dedication to great service made the experience even better. Highly recommend!

This was the second major family event where we’ve ordered a cake from Confections Cake Company St Albert. They obviously take great pride in what they do and the attention to detail. Stopped by on a whim for some dessert with my besty. We had the vanilla caramel popcorn cake and a short bread chocolate biscuit. They were both absolutely amazing! Everything was homemade and so fresh and delicious. I am getting hungry just thinking about it right now. They have a selection of boardgames and tables and lots of funky art. The owner, who served us, was so friendly and nice. They also have a variety of other food too available. Highly recommend to anyone in search of good quality, delicious food.

5 Stars – A Delightful Breakfast Experience! We had such a wonderful visit to Confections Cake Co. in St. Albert this morning! Brittany is always such a bright presence—so friendly and genuinely engaging with everyone who walks through the door. The Belgian waffle options were amazing, with just the right balance of flavour. My senior parents can be quite particular about how their eggs and bacon are cooked, and the staff went above and beyond to get everything just right. That kind of attention to detail really stood out. The lattes and americanos were smooth, rich, and perfectly prepared—just what we needed to round out a great breakfast. Thank you to Brittany and the team for another outstanding experience. We'll definitely be back soon!

Visited this beautiful place last week. What a great interior design! Walls covered with amazing art pieces and furnishings picked with great taste. I ordered belgian waffle with poached eggs and veggies and was very impressed. My friends ordered salad with goat cheese and got a handful of spinach with almost no cheese and very little of anything else. Staff was very pleasant. Only thing I really disliked are very uncomfortable chairs.

I hate giving low ratings to local businesses but the food here is very sub-par with service being average at best. The short-rib ravioli was quite bland and the meat inside was very dry. The KFC had a sour taste and was greasy as well. I liked the garlic butter fries and the bread with butter though. I’m not sure if I came on an off day since Tryst clearly has very good reviews. The dishes sound creative but the execution unfortunately missed the target completely.

Tryst is such a great restaurant in St. Albert!! Every dish had such great detail towards all the dishes they make! I loved the fries and KFC was so delicious! Flavourful, tender and crispy! But the highlight for me was the brussel sprouts! So welcoming, packing lots of flavours !!

Food was fantastic. Lovely idea for dates or to catch up. Little share items/tapas. We had a great time. Recommend the KFC and the Gnocchi! Bussels were delicious, perfectly cooked with a tinge of bacon in every bite. The old fashion and cranberry orange martini were fantastic and delicious. The ginger pear is more suited for sweet tastes, just the right amount of sour mixed in. The New york sour appears very sophisticated with a very deep, mellow taste - great to telieve an edge after business hours. Cheers to the bar tender! Erika was sociable and fantastic. She went beyond her job of a waitress. She talked to us like friends who haven't met for a while. She took great care of us.

Tryst Wine and Small Plates is a quaint restaurant in the heart of St. Albert by the Arden. The service on this night was wonderful. Our server was extremely positive and helpful. We enjoyed our cocktails immensely. The space is great. It's difficult to manage the temperature in the winter when the doors opens however as it's one singular space. You can get a cool breeze now and again. Now to the food. There is so much potential here. I can see where Tryst is trying to go and what they're doing. But the food tries too hard. I think the establishment would benefit from simplifying some of their dishes. There are often some competing flavors in the dishes and there seems to be too much happening in some cases. I still gave it a four stars for food but in this case I feel less is more. This is a super dining experience in St. Albert before a show at the Arden. We will definitely be coming back again. 4 x 🍽️🍽️🍽️🍽️

Food started off really strong. I highly recommend the sourdough bread and butter, as well as the brussel sprouts which were amazing. I wish I had ordered two bowls. The garlic butter fries were good on their own, but the dip they came with did not fit the description of the fries. Wish overall this dish was more garlicky. The gnocchi was just alright. Flavor wasn't quite there and it needed more sauce with it. The fried butter chicken was good, not exactly what I was expecting but good. Forgot to take a good photo before we dived in. The rhubarb crumbled cocktail was more sweet and on the butterscotch side than rhubarby. I wanted there to be some tartness but didn't get anything. Overall the atmosphere was great, service was super fast and on it, and food came out at a good pace. If some tweaks and improvements to the food are made, this place can be a 10/10.

I would say my first dining experience at Tryst was fairly good. We were a table of three and ordered seven plates to share (one of which I forgot to take a photo of!) We were full at the end of meal and even had a couple pieces of fried butter chicken to take home. I would give four stars for the food. My favorites were the house-made sourdough bread with whipped brown butter and the ling cod. The one thing that struck me as odd was that I wouldn't call Tryst a "casual" restaurant, and yet the hostess and waitresses were dressed very casually. For example, the hostess wore a pair of high-waisted pink pants with a cropped t-shirt and a Lululemon crossbody bag while our server wore a white tank top with thick straps and a white mini skirt. There is nothing wrong with dressing comfortably; I just didn't think it went with the vibe of the restaurant. The service was inconsistent. The first few dishes came out quickly and then the last two dishes appeared to have been forgotten. A server (not the one we had the entire night) asked if we were still waiting for more dishes. When we said there were still two remaining, she followed up with the kitchen. Our waitress was still around, but did not serve us for the remainder of the evening. There wasn't any communication about the servers switching, so it left us kind of confused.
Nettie W — Google review
The food was really good! I definitely recommend this place. The only thing was for spending 500+. It would have been nice if the waitress had checked on us just a bit more. There is no real dress code here.

Let me start by applauding the team on their exceptional customer service. We had allergy concerns and they verified with us multiple times to make sure they had them down right. Thank you!!!!! The burgers were YUMMY. Everything tasted fresh, buns were soft, toppings were bussing. We had an amazing dinner here! Kudos to the whole team. Try the burger with the peanut butter.

Such a great spot for a burger & some yummy treats! Theres an amazing kind crew there that is just so helpful & efficient! You got to try the dole whip ice-cream when it’s their special!!!! So good!!!! My fave is the bbq crunch burger or hangover burger - those are always a good time and don’t forget the captain crunch milk shake. Out of this world. Highly recommend this yummy establishment filled with variety of choices for burgers, fries, milkshakes and all things good to make you smile!!!

Great quick lunch option. They have a gluten free bun option which was delicious. Could try a double next time. The gluten free chicken tenders were amazing. The sauce was very tasty. Absolutely LOVED that they had a dedicated frier for fries. Will definitely be back again.

First time here. Will never waste my money again. Patty was paper thin. The poutine was balnd and unappealing. The staff were polite and and had smiles. I would not recommend this place . Find someplace that has actual patties

I've heard great things about this place and finally tried it out. First, great price, huge burger for $12.50. Secondly it tastes delicious. I like how soft the bun was! I got the the shroom burger and it was absolutely delicious. It tastes very "homemade" I can see why people rave about this place!

I don't typically leave reviews but I can't let this one go. The owner of Jack's Burger Shack St. Albert needs to learn some etiquette on how to treat customers. I will NEVER be back strictly based on my experience this evening. I visited there a month or so ago and loved the burger. My second visit last night, unfortunately, was disappointing only because I didn't realize the burger came with onions and I didn't ask for it without. The menu is a little hard to read in that regard, but I see it did come with onions once the staff explained it to me. I bragged the burgers up to my mother in law so we decided to go back tonight. I explained about the burger last night and thought it was reasonable to ask for one of the burgers we were ordering to be comped for last night's situation. The employees seemed uptight and now I know why. The owner is a tyrant and they're probably scared of him. He laughed that I brought the burger to show that I only had a couple bites and wasn't just trying for a free burger. He went on to tell me very angrily that he's losing money if he comps me. A few other things were said... its a bit of blur it was so shocking. At that point, I told my very uncomfortable looking mother in law that we're leaving. He may have lost $$ giving me one free burger tonight, even if I were in the wrong, but we were also going to order another burger, some fries and milkshakes. I just moved to the area and I'm within walking distance. I probably would've been a weekly customer and brought my friends and family there many times over the coming years but I will never be back now. He would've made his money back pretty quickly and then some. Smash Burger up the street makes a pretty mean burger too. Might not be as close but they're always polite and seem to know the value of a customer. I can also buy my own ground beef from Darcy's Meats and make my own burger so I'm good!! Take care Jack's Burger Shack... you suck!!

I got take out. I ordered the classic burger, instead of the shroom. This is one of the best burgers Ive had in metro-edm in years. The meat was seasoned properly, the bun was perfect for the type of burger, with lettuce tomato and pickle. Delixious, go here.
B B — Google review
I was in there recently thought id try something new and was told it was a good spot. Customer service was pretty lame, the cooks were not using gloves so all our food was handled with bare hands, the girl who took our order was then on the line as well putting together burgers. I ordered a poutine, cheese were cubes and didnt melt and the gravy was very unappealing to the eye. I wont go back due to the gloves not being used, makes me wonder if their hands are clean!!!!!

Ukrainian restaurant
Taste of Ukraine offers an authentic Ukrainian dining experience in a richly decorated old-world dining room. The family-owned restaurant aims to transport customers to Ukraine without leaving their hometown. They also provide catering and bulk orders for those who want to bring the experience home. The food is praised for its wonderful flavors, textures, and presentation, with outstanding sauces. The atmosphere is traditional and welcoming, adorned with original artwork from Ukraine.
My sister and I grabbed a bite to eat at Taste of Ukraine 🇺🇦. Neither of us had been there and were delighted with the friendly service and delicious food. First of all, the atmosphere was lovely. The main lights were low but they had some additional fairy-like lighting with a decorative accent tree in the middle of the dining space. Paired with the gentle Ukrainian music playing, it gave the place a classy vibe. The murals along the walls are also very beautiful. To start, I got myself the Ukillini, their twist on a bellini to make it look like the Ukrainian flag. It was refreshing and sweet. Then we shared two entrees, which came with a side of perogies as well as an additional side. I chose the kovbasa and kraut (ham garlic sausage and sauerkraut) with the additional side of nalysnyky (cheese crepe roll with dill cream sauce). I was blown away by the airy and creamy texture of the crepe. The skin of the savoury sausage was a bit tough, but they provided a sharp knife to cut it into bite-sized pieces. As you would suspect, the perogies were top notch, with the exterior dough being soft and delicate and the inside potato mash, smooth and packed with flavour. My sister chose the dnipro dream (salmon wrapped in a puff pastry with lemon dill sauce) and the cabbage rolls in tomato sauce. If you come, I highly recommend getting the salmon! The combination of flavours and textures was amazing. The cabbage rolls were tasty as well and made a good side option. While we were full from our meal, we managed to find some room for dessert and tried their mini cherry perogies and mini blueberry perogies. Both came with a side of vanilla ice cream. I couldn't decide which was better but my sister chose the cherry for its both its sweet and tart flavour. You could also tell the blueberries were fresh had that "made with love" feeling to them. I highly recommend trying this place. Just make sure you double-check their hours of operation before you go.

We had an amazing mid-week meal at Taste of Ukraine!! We last ate at Taste of Ukraine nearly 15 years ago, and since moving out of Canada have really missed having decent perogis. Our recent meal definitely lived up to our expectations! I loved the option of having a mix of sides rather than a main meal, and the kids meals were perfect for our little ones 😋 I would highly recommend this place to anyone who loves Ukrainian food!!!

We went for their Mother’s Day 3 course meal, and everything was SO GOOD!! They catered to my vegetarian needs, swapping out the meat for some other sides. It has such a cozy atmosphere — makes you feel like you’re really in Ukraine!

We ordered take-out dinner for a multi-generation family get-together. Andrew gave fantastic recommendations as to what would be best/simplest for a buffet-style dinner and how much to order per person. The food was on time, hot and ready to go when we came to pick it up, and it was very well packaged. Everything was a hit, and the chicken skewers were a particular favorite. The quantity was perfect. Highly (HIGHLY) recommended.

I highly recommend this place, we had a fantastic dinner here each of us trying something different and we were all satisfied with the flavours and quality of the food. The drinks were also pretty good. The atmosphere was quite nice.

We celebrated my birthday dinner as a group of eight recently. The restaurant was full so very glad that we had reservations. Andrew, as our server, took superb care of us from the moment we arrived. The service and the food were all excellent. We ordered the special four-course dinner and my friends all took their personal menus to share with family members, feeling very impressed with everything. It was a totally memorable evening and couldn’t have been better! We will be chatting about it for a long time and will definitely be back! Thank you, Andrew! 💕💕

Nestled in the charming Perron District of St. Albert, Luisa Risto has been a beloved dining destination for over 16 years. This delightful restaurant offers a taste of Italy with its authentic pasta dishes and warm ambiance, making it perfect for both casual meals and special occasions. Since changing ownership in January 2019, Luisa Risto continues to impress locals and visitors alike with its inviting atmosphere and delectable menu options.
Very busy place due to limited space. Best to make a reservation. We had a table outside, it was perfect. Good weather. The food was delicious. However, the Margherita pizza wasn't as flavorful as the pasta's. Good service and friendly staffs.

Absolutely delicious, authentic Italian food served hot and fresh, and bursting with flavour! I’m so glad we found this place, I will be recommending it to people I know and will be coming back here again soon. The service was also beyond exceptional. With a vibrant and boisterous atmosphere, this is the place to go on a Friday for dinner! I’ve been to Italy and have travelled across Europe, and the food here still impressed me. Very well done, Luisa Risto!!!

Ed is the best! Right from the first moment, we called to book a reso, they offered a set time but also said we could come early and sit at the bar to enjoy a drink before our table was ready. They advised about the ample parking in the back. We arrived and were greeted with nothing but EXCELLENT service. We couldn't decide what to order but Ed helped us. We picked two items and he chose for us. I cannot stress how absolutely amazing this experience was. I will always recommend someone to check out this place. We had the aracini balls, the artisnal bread for appys. Cannelloni and lasagna for dinner - monster lasagna and huge canelloni. For dessert we had the cheese cake flight. Three kinds. The pina colada, chocolate and new York with blueberry compote. TO DIE FOR. I dont really like coconut but that pina colada cheesecake was the most amazing tasting thing ever.

We had dinner here for our anniversary. We didn't have a reservation since it was a spontaneous trip to the area, but we still got seated immediately 😊 Our server was really nice and always made sure we were comfy and enjoying our meal. We ordered a lot just to try them out lol the portions are large, maybe good for 2 people each plate. Orders: Espresso martini Luisa spritz Calamari Meat lover's pizza 🍕 😋 Lasagna Carbonara Tiramisu Everything was delicious! Calamari melts in your mouth. Drinks were perfect as recommended. We'll be going back next time to try the other items in the menu.

This was our first time here, after reading wonderful reviews. Luisa doesn't disappoint. The food was bursting with flavor and we had the warm chocolate cheesecake for dessert. Heavenly!!! It was our anniversary, and the owner not only gave us excellent service, a lovely card, but also his terrific sense of humor. The prices are excellent along with every bite of food. This will be a regular place for us from now on :)

Went here for my wife’s birthday and couldn’t have had a better meal. The carbonara was one of the best things I’ve ever had. Staff were incredibly kind and caring. For the quality of food the prices are great too. We live in Beaumont and it’s worth the drive across town. We will be back as often as we can for sure. Can’t say enough good about this restaurant.

The menu also offers a variety of wholesome breakfast choices such as avocado toast. Situated in the Inglewood Towne Centre, Toast lives up to its name by providing delectable breakfast, lunch, or brunch options in a cozy family-friendly ambiance.
This place sure lived up to the hype. We waited for 10 min for a table but it was worth it. The staff were all so friendly and our meals arrived quickly. This is the best breakfast in the Edmonton area! The eggs benny, French toast, and pancakes were all amazing.

This place is always lined up whenever we come but finally got to check it out . Prices are reasonable , plenty of selection. Waitresses get the job done thou not overly personal but place is busy. and noise level isn't awful but not overly peaceful either. Toast was a bit over done and wish they had other coffee options. The food we had was great thou True french toast not soggy at all which is amazing.

Arrived just after 9am on a Tuesday and it was busy, luckily we didn't have to wait for a table. Our server was lovely. We ordered the croque madame & speciality French toast. My meal (croque madame) was rather dry, I think if I chose my eggs medium instead of dry it would have been better, but ketchup saved the day. The hollandaise sauce is different as this one is sweet tasting. The server mentioned ask for it on the side so then I get more, and can dip. That was a good suggestion! Bathrooms were clean, and it's a unique aesthetic in there. Be aware of limited parking as there are many neighbouring businesses! This meal & a coffee was around $35

Visited Toast in St. Albert — the place was quite crowded and a bit too loud for our liking, but the overall vibe was lively. The food was okay, nothing mind-blowing but still enjoyable. Despite the noise, the service was good and it’s still worth checking out for a casual brunch spot.

I thought I’d leave a review, given our very positive experience yesterday. We had never been to Toast before, and my girlfriend was in a tad bit of a hurry to get to work on time. We asked how soon we could get a table and be served, and our server Helen, told us we would have a table immediately, along with our food in 15 minutes or less. We had in fact been seated immediately and received our food in about 15 minutes. We were even given the bill before we ate. The food was great and super reasonably priced, and our server was incredibly kind and efficient. I will definitely be back :)

The food is always delicious, and the service is great. Expect there to be waits during the busier times, but I promise it is worth it. The seating is tables and chairs, no booths. For those of who you rely on mobility aids, please note that the spaces between dining sets is narrow, and you'll have to navigate the lobby area at the entrance. Staff are willing to move things around if you ask politely. That being said, wheelchair users are not going to likely be able to navigate as the entrances aren't accessible.

We visited East Side Mario’s in St. Albert yesterday for lunch and everything was just great! The food came out fresh and tasty, and the atmosphere was really nice and relaxing. Our server was super friendly and attentive — really made the whole experience even better. I was actually celebrating my birthday, and when our server asked if we wanted dessert, we found out there’s a birthday cake option, which we didn’t even know about! A Birthday Celebration to Remember! Our party of 12, including some lively toddlers, gathered to celebrate a birthday. While the initial 40-minute wait was longer than expected, especially as we noticed potential earlier seating opportunities, the rest of our experience more than made up for it. Once seated, our server was exceptional. She navigated our energetic group with grace, showing remarkable patience and attentiveness. The restaurant was bustling, yet our food arrived promptly. Each dish was a delight - perfectly prepared, fresh, and delicious. Our server anticipated our every need, providing timely refills, an abundance of napkins, and efficient handling of take-out containers and bills. A thoughtful touch was offering plates for the birthday cake we brought. The restaurant added a special flair to our celebration by treating the birthday boy to a complimentary dessert. Despite the initial wait, the outstanding service, delectable food, and warm atmosphere made for a truly enjoyable experience. We'll definitely be returning for future celebrations.

Still one of the best sit down restaurants in St. Albert. I absolutely love their Neapolitan style pizza with its chewy crust and flavourful toppings/sauce. A surprise star for me was their chilli oil, not overly spicy and just the right amount of kick. Thier other dishes like pasta and hot entrees are quite tasty as well, having had the rigatoni and beef ribs myself on other occasions.

A beautifully designed space with a warm atmosphere and seriously good food. Bucco Pizzeria & Vino in St. Albert delivers on many levels, from ambiance to ingredients to service. The restaurant is well built and stylishly located, giving it a vibrant, modern vibe that instantly sets the tone for a good evening out. We didn’t have a reservation, but the team kindly accommodated us without hesitation, something we really appreciated. Service throughout was friendly and attentive. The pizza? Delicious. The dough was fresh and well made, and the ingredients were clearly of high quality. The sauce was also a highlight, bright, rich, and full of flavor. I should also mention the tomato soup: quite possibly the best I’ve ever had. Deeply comforting and layered in taste. The pizza’s undercarriage leans toward the thinner, softer side, so not every slice holds up well by hand, but it’s all part of the experience, and the flavor more than makes up for it. Lots of seating options, including a lovely outdoor patio. Parking was manageable, and the overall experience felt well-balanced and enjoyable. Wishing the Bucco team continued success. May this space always be filled with good food, laughter, and moments that bring people together.

Buco absolutely deserves 5 stars! The food was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. Every bite was delicious! Twice in a row I was lucky enough to have Rose as my server. I cannot praise her enough! She was warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout the meal. Service was fast, and she made sure everything was perfect. The ambiance was clean and comfortable making it a great spot for both quick bites and relaxed meals. Prices were reasonable considering the quality of the food and experience. I appreciate that they have gluten & dairy free options for appetizers, main courses and desserts. I hope they start offering vegan cheeses for their pizzas (and bring back their smoked salmon pizza that was to die for) I'll definitely be coming back and recommending it to others.

Overall really good and would go back. We had the fried egg sandwich and the Margherita pizza. The sandwich was pretty good and a good size. Comes with a side of fruit as well but definitely on the lighter side. The pizza was quite good, we especially liked the sauce and the crust. The chili oil provided however was disappointingly not spicy. Ended up using chili flakes but definitely not as good as having an actual spicy oil.

We came here for my birthday dinner after being treated poorly and leaving Riverbank Bistro. It was quite busy for a Tuesday. It has been our experience that the quality of food and service is consistently excellent. This visit was no exception! Our server was efficient, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly. My only complaint here is the noise level. It has always been quite loud. I think the ceiling could use some baffles, and I would definitely dine here more often if it were a little more comfortable on the ears.

Socrates Restaurant & Catering is an ideal location for a family-friendly brunch outing. With its spacious and well-lit dining area, it offers the option of combining two tables to accommodate larger groups. This locally-owned establishment prides itself on serving up delicious meals made with farm-fresh eggs and locally-sourced ingredients. Portion sizes are generous, ensuring that guests leave satisfied.
Met a couple of friends for breakfast one weekend morning. We arrived around 9 AM and we're probably one of the last groups to get a table that was free at that time, as there was a wait not long after our arrival. We enjoyed the coffee and did not feel rushed to order our breakfasts, which was nice since we were catching up. I ended up deciding on the breakfast sandwich which had a nice fried egg and crispy bacon. The hash browns were nice and crispy and well seasoned. A couple of others really enjoyed their chicken and waffles. We continued our visit afterwards without feeling like we were being pushed out the door. I'd definitely return again in the future.

Haven't been here in a very long time, really busy and parking is not easy. We only waited ten minutes and got one of the last tables and this was at one. The food was excellent, fresh, hot and delicious. They have a nice menu and we will be going back to try breakfast which looks so good. Drop in, you won't be disappointed.

The staff are remarkably attentive, and each of our meals were delicious. I would encourage others to experience it for themselves.

Here’s a polished version of your review that keeps your tone clear, fair, and firm without being over the top. You can tweak it depending on how sharp or gentle you’d like it to sound: ⸻ I’ve been debating writing this review since my visit on Tuesday, but honestly my experience was very disappointing. My husband and I stopped in for breakfast, and I was really looking forward to it since we don’t get out often alone together. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to the price. I ordered the eggs Benedict with no green onion, but it was served with onions anyway. On top of that, the dish was cold, and even the side of hollandaise sauce tasted like it had come straight from the fridge. What bothered me most was that when I mentioned it, the waitress said she had entered the order correctly and blamed the kitchen. But she would have seen the onions before bringing it to the table, and the plate was obviously cold to the touch—so it felt like it wasn’t really taken seriously. For nearly $20 for a breakfast plate, I expected much better quality and attention to detail. Sadly, based on this experience, I don’t think I’ll be returning.

Stopped in for an early dinner with a friend. He had a burger and I the beef dip. Both were very tasty and good size portions. Our waiter JASON... was Fantastic!! The best and friendliest service! He was busy with several tables but managed to care to each table with the same enthusiasm and friendliness any customer would hope for.

Don't be mistaken in thinking Socrates is the just the best breakfast in town... they also have a pretty amazing lunch and dinner menu too! Seriously, try the pizza, which is not only affordable but absolutely delicious. Plus, their other menu items are fantastic. I really like the beef dip and chicken souvlaki. The staff are friendly and efficient, even when it's busy. Strongly recommend Socrates.

Our group of 10 (grandparents, parents, and children) was seated within minutes of arrival - we just missed the rush; our server, Emily, was attentive and friendly even when things got hectic; and the food was great (flavour and presentation). Thank you for accommodating us! We had a fantastic experience.

The portions are amazing of your a big eater, you're gonna like it. The food was great also. My shoestring potatoes weren't very hot, but the omelette was. Loved the 80's music. We thought it wouldn't be that busy coz it was a weekday, but still pretty busy. I understand why it's so popular though. Kind of an old school diner. I would definitely go again. Great value for the money. Prices would be similar too Denny's or Humptys, but better food..

Italian restaurant
Sorrentino's St. Albert is a delightful culinary haven that captures the essence of Italian dining with a modern flair. Known for its meticulous attention to detail, this restaurant excels in hosting private events and offers an impressive selection of wines to complement its exquisite menu. Whether you're stopping by for appetizers, enjoying a leisurely lunch or dinner, or indulging in dessert after a show, Sorrentino's provides an inviting atmosphere perfect for any occasion.
Awesome food and amazing service! We went for their garlic fest and everything we had was delicious. The pasta was perfectly cooked, the pizza was fantastic with a little char on the crust and the meats were tender and juicy! Definitely not traditional pizzas as I know it, but the unique flavours/toppings were great! The seafood was not over cooked and paired well with the vegetables offered. The gelatos were so refreshing and not overly sweet! What really made this experience amazing was the service! Mourad gave us VIP service. Super pleasant, patient and had great suggestions. We never wanted/needed for anything but also approached the table at perfect timing! Always had a smile and was very pleasant! I did find the restaurant very loud, but I don’t think this is the norm as they did have a live singer this night for a charity event I believe. Definitely will be back as I’d like to try other items off the menu!

Their food is 5 star, I order Salmon and Shrimp Scampi, it was amazing. The waiters were very professional. The place is very classic. I went there for a company lunch but I have decided to take my wife. Again, the food is super delicious.

This was my first experience at Sorrentino's. It certainly won't be the last. A friend and I went for dinner, and we ended up ordering all appetizers and sharing them. We ordered the 6 piece small plate and got 1 of each, the beef carpaccio, and the panzerotti and garlic knots(ended up getting a second order of these). Every single portion was perfectly sized for sharing, and the 2 items we got from the Garlic menu were brilliant. The service was friendly and top-notch. The price was fair for the quality and the food was all delicious. I can't wait to go back.

This has been the best service I have had in so long! They even had gluten free carrot cake as well as a great lunch menu with many gluten free options. Sidi turned my lunch hour into a luxury experience and his recommendations made my visit memorable.

Ordered the pasta with mussels. The food was really good - the mussels tasted great! The restaurant itself was quite dark, it felt like they were trying to save on the power bill. Service was a bit slow as well. Decent place to go to brood and eat good food - maybe not ideal for family dinner.

We went for the first time my last night for my birthday and the service and food was absolutely incredible. Servers from other sections took the time to wish me a happy birthday and I didn’t have anything yet that showed it was my birthday! This shows that they take the time to learn and know about who is dinning with them, which is incredible. The white sangria was amazing, pasta delicious and the chocolate mousse was one of the best desserts I’ve ever had! We left full and happy! Safe to say we will be back again.

We had an amazing experience with Sidi as our waiter at yesterday's family dinner of four adults and two boys under two! Our grandson turned two and he brought balloons, a special drink plus a delicious chocolate mousse with a candle!! Sidi even picked him up and brought him over to the pizza oven. Sidi made everyone feel special ❤️ Thanks so much for a wonderful evening!!

My family wanted to do something before we all go back to our normal routine for work. We picked Sorrentino's in St. Albert because a few of us had dined at this location before. It was a hit with everyone! We sat in the patio to take advantage of the happy hour. Our server was FABULOUS! He was friendly, attentive and very helpful. We all ordered drinks appetizers and main meals. Everything was spectacular!! The food was fresh and perfectly cooked. We started off with fresh bread that you dip in olive oil/balsamic vinegar..the bread was fresh out of the oven and it was warm and fresh and so delicious with the dip!! Then we ordered cheese board with olives, meats and bread and prawns and calamari. For our main we had steak, pizza, a few different pasta dishes all delicious!! Our server surprised us with a few tiramisu birthday cakes for 2 people in our party. The dessert was delectable!! Perfectly made!! We are so stuffed!! Great experience!!

Whether you're in the mood for sushi or hearty dishes, there's something to satisfy every palate. To complement your meal, you can also enjoy a selection of refreshing beers and sake.
First time eating here last night was an amazing experience. The restaurant is small but very clean, organized and nicely decorated. The staff are wonderful and attentive. Our food came quick and was so fresh and delicious. I brought my younger daughter with me for her first sushi experience, and she absolutely loved it, and the staff were very nice and accommodating to her. We already can't wait to come back again!

A small restaurant with big flavour. The food offered was quite tasty and filling with an emphasis on tasty. The menu is quite varied and there was something for everyone in my party. We ordered via a table-side tablet and the interface was easy to use and navigate. Food arrived fast and hot with little delay between order and receiving it. Staff were very professional and friendly, making sure that all the customers were taken care of. One thing to note, when we were eating there we were provided samples of the new menu items.

Amazing sushi, one of the best in the Edmonton area. Despite being very busy the service was prompt and the food was excellent. 10/10 would recommend.
Blake D — Google review
The first time experience here was excellent. The staff was very friendly and very coordinated. Very nice atmosphere. Ordered a variety of appetizers and basic rolls which were all very delicious. Price level relative to portions appeared to be reasonable and comparable to other sushi places with 4.5+ star ratings. They offered a couple of their special fried rolls (on the house) to sample, which was a very unique experience. Very clever move - will certainly come back to try a bunch of the special rolls next time. The place will fill up very quickly during the lunch rush.

This is always our favourite shi restaurant! We have sushi everywhere we travel and have not found anything better! I love that they do not put too much rice in their rolls, making them so tasty!
Viktoriya F — Google review
Me and my family have frequented this St Albert sushi place for the past 4 years. The sushi is always consistent and the portions of sashimi are larger; the rolls are very delicious and our favourites are the Saint Albert and French kiss. There is usually a lineup and there are no reservations so be wary and be prepared to deal with parking frustration. Value wise the best in my opinion in Saint Albert as of present.

Amazing quality of sushi! The staff are the friendliest and most accommodating people. This place is always busy because it is the best for your money. We will definitely be coming here whenever we want sushi!

I have been eating sushi for a very long time and have tried so many places in Edmonton. This is the best sushi I have had yet. So fresh and beautiful presentation. We love this restaurant with our family or even a date night! We visited on Saturday for lunch and enjoyed the patio. Fantastic service & great food. Always clean and tidy. The GM is always amazing when we are in and sure to make sure all customers are happy and getting great service. Mushroom Burger and Cajun Chicken Tacos were delicious. Service staff was super friendly. Food took a little while but can't really complain given the circumstances of the COVID reopening. A+ thanks guys.

Definitely not the same anymore. The menu has changed completely since my last visit and not for the better. The burger patty was totally overcook to such an extent that it was difficult to swallow. The creative flair that I used to love of this place is gone and you might as well go buy a burger at one of the fast food joints. It will be cheaper and juicier.

The Atlantic Kitchen is a great restaurant that offers delicious food and great service. The owners are always willing to help out and make sure that everyone who visits is happy. They have ample handicap parking, making it easy for those with disabilities to access the restaurant.
As good as fish and chips can get in a land-locked province! They certainly aren’t shy loading your plate with chips, so one of us substituted them with mushy peas and we shared the portion of chips with dressing. We had haddock- the batter on the fish is fried to a perfect crisp while the fish itself stays soft and flakey without getting squeaky. The restaurant has such a cozy feeling. There is a little shop area filled with east coast treats and trinkets. Our server was the sweetest, and the atmosphere was full of community and comfort that made us feel like we had been transported to a small town in the Maritimes for the dinner hour.
Carmen K — Google review
I stopped in here a bit ago, and it's solid fish and fries. The fish is nice, the chips are French fries, not chips, so that was disappointing to me. The prices were good, and three pieces weren't expensive, so I thought the pieces were maybe small, so I went with 3 pieces, which was too much for me. Good value for money. There's a distinct difference between French fries and chips. These were French fries. Service is good, the waitress was pleasant and the interior of the restaurant is unique. This is mostly East Coast style, not British style, I personally prefer British style. This would be 5 stars if they did chips instead of French fries. They also sell East Coast candy.
JonJonPoPong — Google review
Food was good but not great, especially vegetables in the seafood platter dish tasted a bit off. The fish itself was quite nice. The fish and chips (cod) was good, pieces are big, and you can substitute french fries (I took mashed potatoes with gravy, was tasty). Soup tasted quite nice.

A fun one of a kind restaurant that takes you away to the east coast gateway. Good vibe and enjoyable atmosphere. We had the halibut dinner, scallop bites, halibut fish and chips and a steak philly sandwich. Very full with no room for desert but if I were to, would love to try their apple pie.

Went yesterday July 19th ,was needing a good feed of haddock and chips and was not disappointed, lightly battered fish not greasy what so ever , my wife had the scallops and shrimp which was also very good , and the service was great as well , will be back soon thank you Atlantic kitchen

Such a nice find if you're looking for some down home cooking from Newfoundland...only those that know traditional newfie dishes will truly appreciate this place. We came for a Sunday brunch right at 11:00 and one of two tables. The food and portion sizes were more than enough. The five of us all had the traditional newfie breakfast, complete either tube steak and toutons, we also had two servings of cod tongues as a starter. Can't wait too go back again for Jiggs dinner

Best Thai restaurant. Me and my husband love the food over here. I love their tofu pad Thai (with extra onions and spicy😋), it is my all time favourite that no other restaurant can match. Chef Adam knows our order and a huge shoutout to him for cooking excellent food.

My partner and I dined at Songkran for lunch yesterday with two friends. We ordered the green curry, pad thai tom yam, cashew nut stir fry and a curry listed on their specials board (I don't recall the name, but it contained pork, pineapple and ginger). We also had mango sticky rice for dessert. We were blown away by the food - it was authentic, flavorful, and filling. Everything we ordered was a 5/5. The Thai coffee and Thai iced tea were amazing too. Keep in mind that it is a bit on the sweeter side though. The waitress had a cheerful personality and the service was extremely quick. We would go back again in a heartbeat!

Had the dinner special, northern Hang Lay curry and my spouse had teriyaki pork. Both dishes were exceptional and very large. Veggie spring rolls also very good!

Hidden gem. They had so many options, it was hard to chose. The categories on the menu were arranged nicely in appetizers, soups, salads, noodle and rice dishes. The price with meat/seafood was at the bottom. The atmosphere was nicely decorated with a cozy vibe, little outdated but still nice. The service was okay, not the greatest English speakers, but worth the visit because the authenticity of the food. They had cute Thai aluminum dishes. We ordered the salad rolls to start, the peanut dipping sauce was amazing. As well as the pad Thai with seafood and chicken curry vegetables with a side of coconut rice. They were reasonable portions and flavors were amazing. We had leftovers to bring home.
Tanya N — Google review
Tried a soup I have never had. Kow Soi with yellow curry broth, chicken, shrimp, veggies and wide egg noodles. I liked the flavours and the chicken, shrimp and veg were cooked nicley. The wide noodles were very rubbery and I didn't really care for them but I assume they are supposed to taste like that and have the texture they had. The place is definitely showing a lot of wear. The covring on the booths is very worn. Decent spot for lunch but not where I would take someone on a date. I will definitely go back and try some of the other dishes as the ones being served to the other tables smelled and looked great.
Dean E — Google review
The restaurant has an older style atmosphere, once you walked in to the restaurant you could smell how amazing the food was going to be. The service was fast! Very efficient and straight to the point. I went at lunch where there’s a s specific lunch menu! It did not disappoint. The options were incredible! I had soup and spring rolls. Let me tell you how perfectly deep fried the rolls were, they were honestly textured the best I’ve had in along time. It was a lot of carrot flavor. Next I had the won ton soup, I ordered this without Shrimp & it was phenomenal. The soup had a nice mix of vegetables & meat without it being a Wor Won Ton.

Swiss Chalet may not have originated in Switzerland, but it certainly brings a taste of comfort to its diners. Known for its mouthwatering rotisserie chicken and delectable ribs, this restaurant is a go-to spot for families looking for hearty meals. The signature gravy served alongside the chicken is reminiscent of dipping bread into fondue after an exhilarating day on the slopes.

We went for the special Thanksgiving dinner special last week and it was delicious. I went last night Thanksgiving Sunday for take out around 4:15. It was lined up with squishy standing room only right against the wall . Everyone was happily and patiently waiting to get into the restaurant I was amazed at how well the staff worked together. There were bags all lined up organized by delivery companies all over the counters and a rack in the back. The gentleman looking after that part of the counter never got flustered just kept taking orders and handing out bags. The staff were running back and forth filling orders for delivery, the drive through and the counter. I wondered how many chickens were being roasted in the back. It was amazing watching all of this. From the time I ordered and got my three specials it was about 20 - 25 minutes so really impressive. My friends were impressed at this $18.99 special. It was just perfect for them as her husband is recovering from surgery because it was no fuss. Since they ran out of vegetables she took out frozen garden beans and made potatoes. The salad was crispy and abundant. They said the pie was delicious and were thankful and impressed. Bravo staff at St Albert location. I usually go in and sit down so I’ve never seen this take out part.

Well this was a giant disappointment food wise. Ribs so over cooked you can hardly cut thru them w a knife, dark meat on the chicken dryer than anything I have ever had, and very small portion. Not enough servers on for our large party. She did her best but management here is dropping the ball. Had to ask for water 5 times, even had to send this over dry food back and was told a replacement wouldn't be any better as everything is precooked and then overly reheated. Will not return, I'd rather eat at MacDonalds.

Had the 1/4 roast chicken or should I say the 1/4 “Cornish game hen”! When I asked about the size of the “chicken “ I was told they serve whatever is shipped. It was smaller than the dinner roll. The question is that I don’t get to pay according to the order I received. Why not serve an extra piece? The answer is their profit is more with the reduced poundage purchased. My dining partner had a decent bbq rib order. I guess diners should ask about the size of the chicken each time.

My partner and I were in your restaurant tonight October 21. Our server Teresa was excellent. Sadly the chicken did not stand up to normal standards. It was way too small of serving size. Boston Pizza is a beloved dining destination that has become a cherished part of Canadian culture. Known for its mouthwatering offerings, the menu features delightful options like pizza bread topped with Italian spices, mozzarella, and freshly grated Parmesan, served alongside their signature Santa Fe ranch dip. For those looking to share, the restaurant offers a fantastic trio of favorites: Bandera Bread with ranch dip, Signature Chicken Thai Bites, and Cactus Cut Potatoes paired with cactus dip.
Ordered the Jambalaya Fettucine which comes with sausage and chicken baked with cheese. The food tasted great and had the right amount of spices. Service was also great, our waitress was decent enough not to come every 10 min while you’re stuffing your mouth with food. When we came, there wasn’t that many people but sooner later the place was filled. There were probably 3-4 groups celebrating a birthday and our waiter together with other staff sang a birthday song. The place felt great - zero complaints.

Have ordered from here three times in about a month...the first time I got the wrong order. It was an easy error. I ordered lasagna and got some other pasta dish baked with cheese. I called and they apologized and offered to replace my order. I went a couple days later and got my replacement. Noticed my container wasn't full to the top like the other dish was. Wrote it off as maybe because it was a replacement. Today I go and got lasagna and my dish is even more empty than before. The food I do get is tasty which is why they get two stars. I'm not going to bother asking for a replacement this time. I'm just going to write this review and let the pictures speak for themselves.

Came here for lunch for my mom's Birthday. They put us in the team room and it was nice and private. All of our food was fresh and made well. Where they really excelled though, was service. Our server Kelly was awesome. Most servers these days, tend to make the experience feel transactional. She was very friendly, personable and had a great vibe. I have served for YEARS and recognize the small things that a lot of other guests may not, in regards to service. From her greeting, right to the end, she nailed it! Sadly, I find that service standards have gone down so having her was really refreshing. Definitely a valuable employee.

Waited for over 20 minutes for table of 5 the waiter gave us a table of 4 when I said this is not going to be comfortable she was like well we are busy- said fine will go somewhere else. Instead of being empathetic to answered with attitude and said then go. I understand being busy and overwhelmed but having a positive attitude would make a difference. We were regulars of this location. No more

Bringing out the food was super fast, but I had to ask our sever 4 times for a box and the bill before we got it. After that, I tried asking different servers to bring me a box and none of them listened or told the server who was helping us. This also on a day were it wasn’t even that busy. As a server, I was very disappointed in the service.

Restaurant
Tandoori Fuzion is a remarkable fine dining establishment nestled in the vibrant heart of St. Albert, Alberta. This culinary gem invites diners to embark on a flavorful journey through ancient recipes that tantalize both adventurous palates and those of younger food enthusiasts alike. The restaurant prides itself on delivering an authentic experience without compromise, ensuring that every dish reflects the rich heritage of Indian cuisine.
Visited the restaurant for the first time today while we were in the St. Albert area. Apparently they are operating in the area for several years and in the current location since last few years. The restaurant was easy to locate, had free parking area and had many seating places inside as well as outside seating area. Overall the decor was simple, elegant and was super clean. Food options were good and Shubham, manager / owner was super helpful in suggesting the options and recommending the ideal combination. Food itself was quite tasty and portions were of good size. While the food was close to being authentic Indian, it was not too spicy or hot. Overall we found the place good value for money and will visit again next time we are in the area.

This place is SO GOOD! Every single thing we had was nothing short of excellent! Honestly the food was incredibly delicious. We enjoyed it so much! 20 out of 10 dining experience. Food was amazing. We liked sitting outside too, they have a nice outdoor patio. My wife and I each had lunch specials which came with an assortment of things for $17 and we left 150% satisfied.

The most amazing meal here this evening!!! From the fresh and crispy (GF) pakora to the beef vindaloo, daal and tandoori chicken - even the mango lassies - everything was hot, fresh and so flavourful. Our entire meal was gluten free - tons of GF choices - each and every item was lovely. We will for sure be coming back here in person and making this place a staple in our family. A must try! Extremely kind staff who were attentive and also helped with menu items, suggestions and recommendations. Thank you!

Our first visit to this gem in St. Albert was an absolute delight! The service was impeccable from the moment we stepped inside. The manager, who also happens to be the owner, greeted us warmly. The store was spotlessly clean and well-maintained. And let’s not forget the food—it was bursting with flavor and deliciousness! I highly recommend this branch.

Absolutely Delicious! Tandoori Fusion in St. Albert is a hidden gem! The food is bursting with authentic flavour — from the perfectly spiced butter chicken to the tender tandoori meats and fresh naan straight from the oven. The portions are generous, and the service is always warm and welcoming. You can tell they care about quality and consistency. Whether you’re dining in or taking out, it’s a fantastic experience every time. Highly recommend for anyone craving amazing Indian cuisine!

We ordered murgh makhanwala and butter naan. The chicken was absolutely delicious and fresh. The gravy was not like the canned sauce gravy like most restaurants uses. The naan were very soft and buttery. As a food critic, these are must try menu options

WOW! I know it’s located in St.Albert, but eating here you’re in flavour town. We were kindly greeted at the door, while also having a very attentive waiter. The menu was full of incredible options from meat lovers dreams, to vegetarian delights, also offering you the dishes in a number of spice level for your enjoyment. So many amazing options for anyone and their flavour pallet. The food was fresh, the dishes were beautiful and well presented. Now to the best part the taste!!!!! Let me tell you best flavours you could ever imagine. We were able to order a number of dishes to share and the portions were great for those whom want a bit of left overs or those whom would like to share. All the dishes can be paired with a number of delicious rice options again allowing the customer to suit their preference for the greatest outcome. We greatly enjoyed the experience, it was both great service and amazing food… what more could you ask for. Definitely a top hit for me! Ps… You gotta try the cheese stuffed naan bread, you’ll thank me later. :)

Authentic flavor!!! The manager was so nice and great service. He explained why they no longer have a buffet. They offer a platter instead and you can upgrade items. We got the platter. Delicious 😋 and a great amount of food that we have leftovers for home. We had such a great time that we booked the privet room for a party. Great job!

What a wonderful experience here. Welcomed, seated right away, brought us coffee and were very patient while we tried to decide what to pick from their great menu. Order came fast, we were checked on, food was hot, delicious and they give you good sized portions. We are definitely going back for lunch, we had breakfast and won't hesitate to go back for breakfast again either. Try them out, another hidden gem in St. Albert.

Best tasting & fluffiest Monte Cristo 🙌 3 meals for under $60 so extremely affordable, best customer service from waitresses , & cooks know what they are doing! Everything is locally sourced and nothing from frozen so we really appreciated that. Definitely went home with food comas but not feeling gross which we’ve definitely felt from bigger chains. Just speaks to the great quality 🤤

🎉✨Wonderful little breakfast spot!✨🎉 Stopped by late for brunch on a pretty hectic Sunday morning and still got some of the best customer service possible; the staff is fast, friendly, efficient, and interactive. This is also one of the few restaurants I've been to where the manager is also regularly out and about amongst their staff- which is great to see. The service was very quick; food brought out in a timely manner, regular but non-invasive check-ins from the servers, and consistent beverage refills. The food was SPECTACULAR!!! I'm usually not fond of French Toast but I loved their "French Connection" dish! It was soft, not too sweet, and very fluffy. Their sausages & bacon are also perfectly cooked (not greasy) and their house fries are REALLY good! Very simple, but pairs well with anything on the menu! Stop by if you have the opportunity to! It's one of the best food stops St. Albert has to offer and I promise you will NOT be disappointed! 😁 Special thanks to Manager Ging for being such a lovely host; you were such a great part of the experience ✨

Not my favorite place for breakfast but I'll still continue to go back as it is quite good. The sunset Burger is a very great tasting burger if you're into lunch without fries.

We have been to this location quite a few times and usually have great service. We were told to seat ourselves and then were ignored for about 10 minutes. Luckily we weren't in a rush. My blt had an odd smell to it and my pan fries were greasy. This could be because we saw our meals sit in the window for about 5 minutes. It was not busy but the waitresses were too busy doing their side duties. I then had to go to the counter to order a side of toast becuase my meal was inedible and they again were doing side duties and not paying attention to customers. Terrible service. Not good food. What the heck happened.
SBK G — Google review
Horrible first (and last) experience with Sunset Grill. What a disappointment. We get there, are sat, and then completely ignored for 30 minutes. Not to mention people were seated to our left and right AFTER us, had their order taken, and received food before our order was even taken. Then we wait ANOTHER HOUR for our food to show up. It was cold and dry (seriously a BLT needs mayo). The potatoes were hot but undercooked. What a disappointment, service here is absolute TRASH. It was medium busy so I’ll give u that. But you had 5 servers on…. No excuse for this waste of time. I wish I could relive this day and not show up here, McDonald’s has better service.

Chicken restaurant
St. Louis Bar & Grill is the perfect spot for a casual outing, especially if you're in Edmonton, AB. This pet-friendly eatery welcomes your furry companions on their outdoor patio while you indulge in a variety of delicious pub fare. Their menu boasts an array of options including slow-roasted ribs, wings that can be spiced to your liking, burgers, sandwiches, salads, and quesadillas—there's something for everyone! Recently celebrated a birthday at St.
Food was good, fast and hot. We had chicken wings and a chicken dill sandwich that came with steak fries. Steak fries aren't my favorite but they were still tasty only wish they had seasoning. But I've found this at many restaurants now not seasoning fries its not the same adding salt at the table. Chicken wings were really good and crispy. Our waitress was good she was just run off her feet due to not enough staff. So we waited for refills and bill. Nothing against her it is a staffing issue.
Laura B — Google review
It was not very busy, the staff were quick to seat us and also very friendly. We ordered 2 appetizers, the chicken quesadilla and the perogies. Wow, the amount of chicken and cheese in the quesadilla was incredible! It's very tasty. The perogies had tons of toppings and were delicious. I ordered 2lb of "boneless wings" one was the hottest flavor they had, and the other was Buffalo ranch. I'm a bit of a heat seeker, so I didn't find the wings very spicy, maybe a 6 for the hottest ones. They both had great flavor, and the dip is very tasty! For mains, I ordered a 1/2 rack of ribs, and my Mother ordered the dill chicken sandwich. The fries were GREAT! Steak fries with ridges a total best of both worlds. My only concern was the ribs. They tasted off, the membrane was not removed, and they tasted boiled with very little flavor. These were probably the worst ribs I've ever had in a restaurant chain. I've been dying to check this place out for months. I will be back. However, I will be staying far away from the ribs. A special thank you to the two young ladies working today. You did a fantastic job! The service was awesome.

This place has been amazing! Cheap food and great service! Also $14.99 for all you can eat burgers… how can you go wrong. Also ordering refills on burgers was a new experience. I’m still working on eating them as I have so far had 5 and 6 is on the way. Also the record being 11, go that person. The servers were fantastic. Princess and Yanka were both very attentive and made sure that we were taken care of.

Friendly Vibe, Great Service – But the Wings Could Be Better St. Louis Bar & Grill in St. Albert is a lively, well-located spot with plenty of parking and lots of indoor seating. The place is quite clean and inviting, making it an easy choice for casual family outings or meetups with friends. What really stood out during our visit was the exceptional service. Una, our Brazilian waitress, brought genuine warmth and attentiveness that made our evening memorable. It’s a real gift when hospitality feels personal, thank you, Una! As for the food, the wing flavors were enjoyable, kind of tasted all the same, and there’s certainly no shortage of drink options. However, the wings themselves left something to be desired. They seemed to be frozen, not fresh and unfortunately came out a bit dry and a bit of an “off” taste. A letdown, especially from a place known for wings. Still, the welcoming service and overall atmosphere made it a positive experience. If the kitchen steps up the freshness of the food, this location could easily become a standout.
Filipe D — Google review
We had a great experience at this Bar & Grill Our server, Princess, was incredibly attentive, kind, and seemed to be taking care of everyone in the restaurant (which was quite busy with about 7 tables and some folks at the bar). She's a total rockstar – I even saw her serving at the bar too! My mom had the primavera, and I had the wings poutine; both were absolutely delicious. The bathrooms were also clean, which is always a good sign and shows the new owner is doing a great job. I also noticed the Filipino cook working hard in the kitchen Coco even ask how was the food and Aezen was their other cook that’s really great! The owner himself seated us and was actively involved in serving customers, which is really impressive. Overall, a wonderful visit and we’ll definitely be back!

My much better half and my wonderful children took me out to St. Louis Bar & Grill for my birthday. I have never been despite living so close. I was not expecting much from a small pub chain. They exceeded my expectations for sure. We ordered: St. Louis Wings Chicago deep dish pizza (hot and honey sauce) 5pcs tenders meal with fries (St. Louis hot sauce) 1lb wings meal sub poutine add extra sub poutine (buffalo sauce) 2 pints beer 2 refillable soda pops I also asked for sides of the hot as hell sauce and St. Louis hot sauce Lastly they treated me to a free slider birthday cake (like an ice cream sandwich cake slice) All the food was actually really really good. I was surprised. The portions were great without being so big that you worried they were cutting costs and quality to do it. The service was also really good. And on top of it, all that food above (where I have leftovers still) was only $90. Not at happy hour, not on wing Tuesday, full bore regular price. I rarely find going out to be reasonably priced but this was an exception. I will most certainly be back. In fact I’m sending my teenager and his friends this weekend to tackle the $15 all you can eat angus burger deal 🙂. My only two areas of improvement: 1. Hot as hell sauce was fairly spicy but the flavour was just vinegary and had no real depth. Will not have that again unless it’s tweaked. 2. A place with so much eating by hand should add automatic taps and the foot grab door opening thing. Hard to keep hands clean turning off taps and exiting bathroom. Or switch to paper towels instead of blow dryers. Either or. Note: food pic not my pic. Did not get a chance to snap pics. Grabbed a pic of the all you can eat deal on way out.

Had an awesome experience at St. Louis Bar and Grill in St. Albert! The customer service was amazing — the staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect. The food was great, fresh, and full of flavor. You can really tell they care about quality and the customer experience. Definitely a place I’d come back to and recommend to anyone looking for a fun, welcoming spot with excellent food and service!

My wife and I did a date night. The clucking deal 24.99 plus $3.50 for a pop each. We did the garlic parm, Mississippi bbq, honey cajun, sweet chili, Buffalo Ranch, Lewis 92 BBQ, authentic Buffalo and St Louis hot sauce. All arrived hot but overcooked and dried out, making them hard to swallow. The st Louis hot, rated at a 3 was a distant heat from the 2 that was a little hotter than ketchup. 8 wings per order/pound which was not a pound by any stretch of the imagination. Service for 2 drink refills. They say 8 minutes between orders but was closer to 20 minutes. The owner contacted me and apologized but never followed up, a tourciary apology for Google appearance. Working construction and everyone got paid... just cost him 19 paying customers..... so far. See them all again Monday.

I often stop into the restaurant for lunch. Best coffee, food is great. Ruth is amazing. So friendly and efficient. I always enjoy it there. I'm 67 and have been going there since I was in my teens. I had two guests in from out of town and put them up in separate adjoining rooms here. The rooms were well kempt, everything worked fine, and they were quiet for sleeping. The pillows were not very good but they rarely are in hotels. Other than being a little awkward to get into and out of the parking area I'd recommend staying here. Pool and gym are good, and the morning breakfast at the restaurant during the week is good - the weekend breakfast is passable.

Possibly the worst value for stay hotel I’ve been to. I could deal with the room that was looks like it was last renovated in the 90’s (poorly maintained wallpaper and chipped paint). But the fan/AC system knocked every two seconds for the entire night, with no option to turn it off. Initial front desk staff was super pleasant, however the late night would not make eye contact and stared at their phone when most people walked by. Not sure how you get off charging what you do for a night stay here. Should be roughly $50 less a night for the value you provided and quality of hotel.

Room was super comfortable and big enough to fit a cot and playpen as well. Our kids had a blast on the water slide! Front desk staff were super friendly and accommodating.

Stayed here on the night of my wedding. BIG MISTAKE. The tub had dead bugs around it, I had to have someone come clean the room. The waitress in the dining area was beyond rude and we ended up not even having time to eat, the bridal suit was double booked and I ended up getting down graded. Absolutely horrible time. Would never do again.

It is a 3 star hotel and is very clean and comfortable. Little things can make the stay enjoyable. The complimentary breakfast provided good food, glass plates, real cutlery (instead of plastic). The young man attending the breakfast when we were there is helpful and efficient. The beds are firm but not hard and the rooms had just a bit more room to move around. The front desk reception staff were extremely busy dealing with multiple accents and were kind and gracious to everyone.

Ohana-Ya Japanese Restaurant is a charming, family-owned establishment that has been delighting diners since 2009. With its relaxed atmosphere, it serves up an array of authentic Japanese dishes and sushi that are both fresh and beautifully presented. Guests rave about the delicious takoyaki, perfectly cooked salmon, and homemade gyoza that transport them back to Japan with every bite. The menu also features gluten-free options and enticing ramen lunch specials for those looking for variety.
I live down the road so there is definitely proximity bias but I love this place. Great to go to on date and getting the sushi combo for 2 or if its not the hottest part of the summer they have some fantastic ramen dishes, not traditional but I highly recommend getting the brisket ramen with an extra egg. The staff are very friendly and have some excellent recommendations.

My first time trying their sushi was back in 2021 and I was very impressed with the size of the nigiri as they were huge. Taste and quality was pretty decent, price point seemed slightly higher, but overall, I really enjoyed my meal. Another decent sushi place in St. Albert. I work in St. Albert, so I would absolutely order lunch or order for pick up from here again.

Still our favourite Sushi spot in St. Albert! But beware they are closed on Tuesdays ;-) Today we shared the Lunch Veggie Bento Box and California Snow! Delish and great on a cold day! They now make bubble tea and do a great job - kiddo loved the mango green tea boba! We always love the rolls and avocado appetizer here. The decor is fun with lots to look at from artwork to Japanese miniatures and Lego. Their housemade ginger salad dressing continues to be my FAVE and can always be found in our fridge. Sooo good over salmon, too! I sure hope Ohana Ya is around for a long, long time to come!

I was greeted with a smile, service was impeccable. They were very quick and prompt, asking what I needed, etc. appreciate the service. When I saw the my bubble tea come out in a cup like this that I get to take home, I was thrilled! I really feel they go the extra mile. They're all so friendly, and the food was great. I'd love to come back and try more food. Portion size--exactly what I needed. I have to say the spicy pork ramen wasn't that spicy. On a scale 1-10 I'd rate it a 2 or 3. The decor of the restaurant definitely gives that Japanese feel, they even have a mini-mart where they sell products from Japan!

Located in the former Beer Hunter location, this new pub had its grand opening today August 23rd. They were offering a free order of wings with the purchase of a drink so hubby and I decided to check it out. The place was packed and bustling but we managed to find a table easily. Our server came to us quickly and we ordered 2 Connor's beers ($5 each), an order of BBQ wings and an order of hot curry wings. The flavor of the wings waa excellent. Usually other pubs make the BBQ sauce kind of bitter and I end up regretting getting that flavor, but this BBQ sauce was perfectly balanced. The hot curry wings had great depth of flavor and if the wings are any indication of the rest of the menu then we are all in for some tasty grub. My only quam would be the high prices. In terms of portion size, the wings themselves were small compared to other pubs I've been to. As most people in the pub were ordering wings, I cannot comment on portion size of other menu items. I do however, think they should consider offering more specials and deals as menu items are very steep. But all in all we enjoyed the wings and beer! I would only return if there were cheaper specials being offered.

It was awhile ago already, but my friends and I came in late on a Thursday night celebrating. The place was mostly empty, but I definitely appreciated the low key atmosphere. I'm pretty sure our server may have been the manager. He was SO nice and took great care of us. One of my friends knocked over her drink and he brought her another. We ended up taking advantage of some of the great food deals, including fish tacos. Great food!! I can't wait to to come by again.

We had a really good experience at Connor's. We stopped by for their steak night special on Saturday and the service was great! The server was funny and knowledgeable, and he was great at making suggestions for appetizers and mains. The Guiness Stew was very good. Nice hot, stick to your ribs style and the in house soda bread was delicious. The steak came out a little over cooked but was a really good meal as well. I had the house ale which was crisp, a little dry but very good. Check em out, you won't be disappointed.

Stopped in to try to get some studying done on a Saturday afternoon. The staff was pretty unenthusiastic, but my drink was made quickly, however I wasn't asked if I would be staying in or to go, so I was given my Chai in a paper cup, and cookie in a paper sleeve. The chai latte was very bland and ginger forward, and definitely unsweetened, and the ginger cookie was very dry and crumbly. Something to keep in mind is that a lot of seniors come through, and have a bit of an entitled attitude toward which tables they get, as they don't want to sit toward the back, and will ask you to move from your table, I had multiple people ask me in the 30 minutes I was there. I do not intend on returning.
Danielle K — Google review
My friends and I recently visted this location and , and sadly, our experience was far from pleasant due to an interaction with one of the male staff members. Throughout our visit, he repeatedly made rude and disgusted faces at us, which made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. His attitude was condescending, and some of his behaviours and the faces he made felt racially motivated. We were looking forward to enjoying our time, but this male staff's behavior ruined the atmosphere. This experience has left us feeling unsafe and unwated. I DO NOT recommend this location to others. I hope the management addresses this kind of unprofessional behavior and educated their staff on professionalism and respect to help foster a welcoming enviornment.

Been there twice in a week. Won't return. The service is not the greatest, food is bleh and expensive (over 8$ for a cheese croissant with ham). The dirtiness of the washroom makes me question the cleanliness of the kitchen. The sink was spotted, the wall beside it was covered in strikes of dirty water, the toilet was spotted with splats of feces and urine and the wall beside the toilet was covered with unknown substances. After initially reporting it to the customer service, I went back a second time to verify if my complaint had been heard. I'm sadly reporting that not much cleaning has been made. I won't go back there.

Their commitment to consistent quality and the use of the freshest ingredients shines through in their delicious craft beers available at their taproom in St. Albert and various liquor stores across Edmonton.
Having never been here before I can honestly see why people love it here. The atmosphere is terrific, the friendliness of the servers is so good and they are so attentive to what you may need. I was treated to pizza and a flight of beer and I found one I really like. I won't hesitate to go back and highly recommend. It got really really busy not long after we got there and that in itself tells a story.

Love this place! Great beer, and the pizza is really tasty, too! The staff provide prompt and courteous service. It's great to have a place like this in town.

Thank you do Endeavour Brewing for helping throw the most perfect surprise birthday party this past weekend! The staff were so accommodating and patient with us and helped to make it a wonderful celebration. Would highly recommend this brewery to others. 🍻

Went here with a coworker for a meeting and it was such a perfect vibe to work and drink good coffee. I ordered the special of the day - dirty london fog - and it was delicious. We'll be back soon!
Madelynn S — Google review
Uncomfortably cold during the day. Waitress said that it's much busier during the evening so perhaps they keep it cooler for the crowds. Not much on the menu at all. Basic pub grub like nachos Pizza 1 dessert option on menu but cheaper options in a display case tucked away at one of the counters. You have to look for it.

Really great place to meet up for a locally made beer. Lots of seating available with fast and friendly service. Definitely recommend!

What can I say that hasn't already been said ??? Great beer, awesome staff and a chill atmosphere. The selection of beers changes randomly, the patio is doggo friendly, pretzels and pizza are awesome and the bathrooms are sparkling clean. Lots of social events to choose from if you're looking for an evening out, choose from Yoga, Fly Tying, Live Comedy, Trivia Night or even Drag Bingo if that tickles your fancy.

Very nice establishment. Great beer, friendly staff. Fair prices and great menu for growler fills. Came for a coffee, stayed for a beer. I didn't eat, just drank, but they have snacks, tacos, and quesadillas. Free wifi and heme nights.

This popular take-out and delivery chain offers an array of classic and specialty pizzas that are sure to satisfy your cravings. Alongside their mouthwatering pizzas, you can also indulge in wings, sides, and delightful desserts. Many customers rave about the unique flavors that set Papa Johns apart from other pizzerias.
They send lots of coupon. Pizza has special flavor. Great choice. Update: I ordered a Halloween pizza, and the shape was a bit disappointing at first glance. But it still tasted like classic Papa John’s!
Kenny D — Google review
I really don't know what's going on with this franchise. It used to be the absolute best pizza. PJ prided itself on the freshest ingredients and good value for superior quality Now, the prices have gone to eat cardboard. Very disappointing. I won't be going back until some true 'Italians' start running these pizzerias.
Red R — Google review
Great pizza! Have to give 4/5 stars though was little skimpy in cheese and they don't have the John's favorite anymore or even know what it is.. its the pizza that made papa John's.. but still I enjoyed my pizza. Will definitely come back.
Matt R — Google review
The store staff hangs up multiple times when trying to confirm an order. When I called the online assistance number(using the app), they were hung up on twice as well while they were trying to confirm my order. Papa Johns is decent pizza, but this store is poorly run.
Devon B — Google review
I ordered two pizzas. I had to clarify my address several times as the staff don`t have a grip on basic English language. I was polite and spoke clearly and slowly. They took my address with postal code (fool proof with a gps). After 1 and 1/2 hours my pizzas had still been out for delivery. When they finally showed up, no fault of the poor driver as they made a mistake on the address. My Pizzas were stone cold the "stuffed crust was like a hoola hoop. I drove to the location and asked if I could please speak to a manager. Nope, he said not until Tuesday...not very helpful. I asked the only guy in the store if I could please have a fresh hot pizza as mine arrived late and cold. He said I`m not authorized to refund or replace your untouched cold pizza. So I have to hang onto these cold Pizzas until Gurinder is in on Tuesday. C`mon man make an educated decision refund, or just a fresh Pizza. Nope not happening. My future business...nope not happening. 1st experience with Papa John`s. This should have been a simple fix...replace it. $60.00 for two Pizzas is not super cheap. Customer relations are terrible. Worse when nobody there understands what you are saying. Grrrr. I`M BLOODY HUNGRY!! I may revise this review depending on how much the manager cares on resolving this issue.
Greg S — Google review
Great customer service, very friendly. Pizzas are always delicious especially with the special garlic sauce, garlic knots are a must order and the oreo bites are a yummy dessert!

Staying in hotel near by, made order online, within 15 minutes, two medium pizzas delivered hot and up to standard expected. Would recommend to a friend.

Don't bother getting food from here. Pizza is small, pizza is not cooked, toppings cheap and they keep forgetting the dips. 50$ for two 10" pizza. Robbery at its finest.

Nestled in the heart of St. Albert, MD Distillery Ltd is quickly becoming a must-visit destination for spirit enthusiasts and food lovers alike. This newly opened distillery prides itself on crafting exceptional vodka from 100% Alberta wheat and pristine water, resulting in a clean, smooth spirit with delightful fruity undertones—perfect for an exquisite martini. While the restaurant may currently be closed, patrons can still enjoy takeout and delivery options along with alcohol sampling during pickup hours.
Great tasting and Vodka flight. My friends in Ontario are very partial to the Maple flavour. New Ontario favourite 💕
Jen H — Google review
I came here to taste some of the Vodkas and they were absolutely delicious! I bought myself a bottle when I left. The staff were very kind and checked on us often. The food was absolutely delicious and complimented the vodkas. However just a few suggestions for improvement: firstly, it was a dissapointment to find out during my visit that we were not allowed to access the whole menu. Although a smaller menu was available, it didn't include the food that I wanted to taste. In addition, they didn't allow me to make any cocktails with my selected vodkas, so I feel like I wasn't able to get the full experience of the beverage. Lastly, when paying, my girlfriend and I agreed to split up the bill by drinks and food, however the server didn't split it up the right way and put some of the drinks on the food bill and by the time we had caught this error, it was too late to switch the items. I definately want to come back here in a month or so when they are more well established and have a fuller menu available.
Mike S — Google review
Such an amazing place with the best sipping vodka I have ever had. Seriously. It's so delicious. You can tell that this family owned business puts their heart and soul into this restaurant. Also, I greatly appreciate their many gluten free options. I just signed up to receive a "DIY cocktail kit" as a Mother's Day gift and the presentation and value is incredible. Shout-out to Olivia - she goes above and beyond as the manager.
Sydney M — Google review
We had a girls afternoon of tasting MD’s gins and vodkas. It was a fun, informative afternoon. The passion the owners have for their process and their products is obvious, from beginning to end. I would recommend booking a tasting if you’re looking for something different to do. We especially loved the sour cherry, maple, mint and lemon vodkas!
Karen O — Google review
MD Distillery is amazing! Their food menu is loaded with phenomenal options. The creative bartenders made the best cocktails with their in-house distilled products. All staff and management are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I love going to MD Distillery for dinner and taking bottles of my favorites home (especially the Rhubarb Gin and Sour Cherry Vodka). Still ONE bottles have taken over my bar cart! I recommend MD Distillery to everyone I know!

Edit: We’ve been back 3 or 4 times now. The spirits are amazing, cocktails are simple and delicious, and the food is always great. Highly recommend the prawns! An amazing dinner experience in St. Albert! The dinning area has a great vibe. One of the owners/distillers came by the tables with samples of his latest batches and asked for feedback on the flavour, the chef also stopped by the table. The cocktails were creative and well made. Of course the vodka was great. The food was amazing, you can certainly tell that the food is made with expertise and care. We’ll be going back!
Michael M — Google review
MD has the best food, drinks, and atmosphere! If you haven't been here yet, GO! You won't regret it. The workers are very knowledgeable about their food and drink menus, and will give you the perfect recommendations! The service is also outstanding, I always get consistently amazing service and hospitality. And what makes this place even better is that it's locally owned - you can tell that a lot of heart goes into all aspects of this distillery. Side note, their lemoncello vodka is seriously so good! The only sipping vodka I'll have now!

If you're on the hunt for a delightful breakfast or lunch experience, look no further than the Turkish Coffee House! This charming spot, run by the talented Esra, serves up an array of mouthwatering dishes made from scratch. Indulge in traditional favorites like Egg & Sujuk (Turkish sausage), Lahmacun (a flavorful flatbread topped with fresh ingredients), and Menemen (a delicious Turkish omelette).
I asked a friend for a hidden gem to take my daughter for her birthday lunch in St. Albert and without hesitation she mentioned this place. This was our first time having Turkish food so our friend insisted we try the Lahmacun. We had that along with a fresh veggie press, iced coffee and chai latte. All items we perfection. Service was great, food was exceptional and prices were reasonable. We highly recommend. Nice to have the option for outdoor seating too.

Best coffee. I tried pistachio in mine and it was surprisingly amazing. I guess that's the premise behind hazelnut coffee blends...it sweetens the taste somehow. The food was ok but I might have been better off trying Turkish delight Tiramisu Or other desserts. Great atmosphere. Reading a book about Italy in a Turkish cafe
Red R — Google review
Good coffee, the pistachio latte has real pistachios in it, but the baklava is incredible. Had to go back again because I was craving it! A bit on the pricier side for a coffee and a pastry, but the baklava is worth it!!

Sierra K — Google review
😁 Amazingly good coffee, tea, and food here! The best, most authentic Turkish coffee I've had in years was from here. The coffee even came on a nice wooden board accompanied by a fancy little glass of water! 😊 The food my friend and I ordered was delicious. There's more things on the menu I want to try, so I'll be back again! 😋 They do serve family sized meals there as well. Very nice spread of wonderful tastes! 😅 And if you're there when they're busy... Relax. Enjoy the coffee. Their kitchen is only so big and the tasty food is coming. It's worth the wait!
Willy T — Google review
This place is so cute! The baklava is insanely tasty and juicy, so many different options for lattes and drinks and the space is modern and clean with an inside and outside area. It gives me nostalgia for visiting Turkey and we only got coffee and dessert but we WILL be back! they have non dairy milk as well.

FANTASTIC FOOD AND SERVICE. Nothing negative to say about this place. Great food; I like that they prepare everything fresh from scratch, and cook it fresh to order. You can taste the freshness. Definitely a hidden gem. Only complaint is we waited for over 50 minutes and there was only one other table occupied when we walked in.The food was delicious, hot and more than enough as a serving. Their potato soup was the best I've had in a long time. Our server was friendly and efficient filling water, checking on us and remembering a takeout order before we left. Their breakfast looks so good and next on the agenda. Try this place out, you won't be sorry.

Attended a retirement party at the Flame Kitchen so the restaurant was closed for the private party. Staff was accommodating and friendly. Food was delicious and flavorful. We started of with 3 different bruschetta and a vinaigrette salad. I picked butter chicken with nan bread but other people at my table had rib eye steak, salmon and shrimp and chicken pasta dish. The meal ended with tiramisu and it was silky and delicious!

this is absolutely my favourite place to eat! everything is made fresh to order, including beautiful crispy naan or bread for their amazing paninis! there is freshly cut cripsy vegetables in nicely dressed salad, no bottled sauces!! i've had chowder, chicken soup, minestrone, naan, chicken parmigiana, signature shrimps, bruschetta trio, chicken piccata, chicken khorma, grilled shrimps, cordon bleu and can say, that every single thing was delicious, beautifully presented made with love! definitely will come back there whenever i'm nearby!! very unique place, rare to see these days... update: 03/2021 i went for a breakfast and it was super. soft egg benny with salmon hash and fruits. eggs were nice and soft, lots of salmon, house made hollandaise, crispy hash and freshly cut fruit... that's how it's done!

The restaurant's decor creates a warm and welcoming environment, perfect for both casual meals and special occasions. The service was attentive and friendly, with staff eager to assist and knowledgeable about the menu. Despite a slightly longer wait for our food, the wait was well worth it. We tried their kids menu and breakfast bowl portions were generous and worth the money ; Overall, Flame Kitchen provides a satisfying dining experience with great food and service. Everything tasted super fresh, the service from Joyce was amazing and the restaurant was clean and inviting!

I came to get a double protein bowl and added avocado, the extra $3 charge was no issue until I went to eat my food and the avocado was so gross I couldn’t eat it. It’s like it’s been frozen or something it’s like mush so gross, and to charge $3 for something that is clearly not fresh is not only inconsiderate and selfish but just morally wrong. I use to love this place and would make the drive all the way from north side to St.Albert just to have it. You can see from the photos that the avocado is just mush on the chopstick when you go to pick it up and the texture and taste is actually disgusting.
Blanca M — Google review
I had an amazing experience at Splash Poké restaurant. The ambiance was cozy and the staff were welcoming and nice. Must try their Classic bowl if you love fresh salmon with unagi sauce! 👌 I highly recommend this place. 🥳
Snowie B — Google review
Me & my sister have been buying splash poke ever since the first day opening of northgate location because of how it taste very good, and their serving is big for its price whether it is lil or triple. But today I am really upset with the serving I received — it’s like a lil splash size that was fit in the double splash. Today we did an uber delivery from St. Albert (i don't even know why from St.Albert since we picked Northgate the closest from ours) I ordered two double splash, one with topping and one without although having or not having a toppings is not the case here, but how much rice it has. I called and told them my concern and the lady said “thats how much rice we always put” — seriously? The price went up from 14 to 22 and that is understandable since everything is going up, but the serving is not acceptable with how much we bought it for. This is very upsetting since it hasnt been long since we ordered before this. It wasnt like this.
Glace A — Google review
I usually love eating splash poke, but recently their service has gone down so much. Not only this location but the gateway location in the south are SO STINGY when it comes to the toppings. If you are charging for a build your own bowl there should be no reason you barely add any toppings. The reason i’m writing this review is because I ordered from this location from uber, and even though the portion isn’t terrible, this is the least amount i got Probably the last time i’ll eat splash to be honest

It's a bowl but the flavor was lacking. Barely any sauce and the Tuna wasn't the best this time. Now I know it's not going to be the best Tuna in the world but it was just not worth it. We bought 2 bowls and threw out one as we couldn't be bothered with it. Unfortunately not for us but hopefully others feel differently.

We had such a wonderful time getting our burritos tonight! Such a lovely end to our day. We were impressed how great the service was especially 15 minutes before close, it was so busy and all by herself!! She was incredibly sweet and we were extremely impressed by her burrito wrapping skills! Normally we always go to Mucho but for sure will be switching to Bar Burrito. This place seems to be going downhill. Toppings are often missed (online orders), there’s no consistency in the burrito size, and today my bowl is absolutely drowning in sauce. It’s difficult to eat.

I visited BarBurrito at Jensen Lakes yesterday for lunch, and it was my first time there. I was looking forward to trying the food since it seemed similar to Brazilian cuisine. I ordered a bowl with rice, beans, crispy chicken, lettuce, tomato, and corn. While preparing my meal, the staff member was wearing gloves, but she used the same gloves to handle all the vegetables directly. She then processed my payment and touched the cash register with the same gloves. Right after, she served another customer, again using the same gloves to handle the vegetables. I found this practice to be unhygienic, which left me concerned about food safety. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I don’t think I will be returning.

Ordered two one topping pizzas. Received one pizza with both toppings on it. Pizza was decent. The side dip had a dry, crusty piece indicating to me that it was outdated. One pizza, a bottle of soda and a container of dip totaled $60. I don't recommend this place.

I ordered a medium Meat Love. Pizza was very good. Lotts of topping and a good balance flavors. The Manager of the place was unprofessional and yelling at the staff while I was waiting for my pizza. Im not sure what was going on but I had to dock a star. Otherwise this would be a 5 star place.

Earls Kitchen + Bar is a stylish and upscale dining destination that specializes in gourmet burgers and global comfort food, complemented by an impressive selection of cocktails, wines, and beers. Each Earls location is uniquely designed to reflect its local community through its menu offerings and artistic decor. The St. Albert branch exemplifies this with its inviting atmosphere. Recently, I had the pleasure of dining at Earls where the service truly stood out.
I had such a great experience at Earls recently, thanks to our server Jorjia. From the moment we were seated, she was friendly, attentive, and made us feel completely taken care of. She had great menu recommendations, kept our drinks topped up, and checked in often without ever being overbearing. Our food came out quickly and everything was delicious, but what really made the visit stand out was Jorjia’s excellent service. She was professional yet personable, and you could tell she genuinely cared that we enjoyed our meal. It’s not often you get such consistently great service, but Jorjia made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. We’ll definitely be back — and we’ll be asking for her next time!

However, what truly stood out was our server, Caitlyn. She approached our table with a warm smile and was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable, providing excellent recommendations, and help throughout our meal. I truly appreciate being able to relax and enjoy a nice dinner without having to flag someone down for a refill. The atmosphere struck the perfect balance elegant yet comfortable. Had lunch at earls in St. Albert, and wow, just wow!!! absolutely incredible. The food was amazing, 10/10, and our service was absolutely perfect. I can honestly say this was the best service I have ever had at any restaurant. Props to our server Jorjia, she made sure I always had a drink in front of me and she just made the whole experience so enjoyable. She had such a great energy and she was super attentive our whole visit. I hope she is our server every time we visit. The service, the food and the atmosphere altogether made for a wonderful lunch date! Props to earls St. Albert, they are doing everything right.

Our team had a reservation for 30+ people. We were able to work with the staff ahead of time and pre-order our food. They were great at accommodating our large group. We were seated in a semi-private area where the kids could chat and be social with one another. Our food came out in a timely manner, all correct, hot and delicious! The restaurant was dealing with a burst pipe but did a wonderful job of making sure that we were taken care of! Highly recommended this place to anyone with a large group!

Had a great night out with my girl. Food was great. Caitlyn our server gave us the most pleasant experience, somehow always had my water filled and she stopped at the best times to make sure everything was going well! It’s clear she’s been an outstanding customer facing worker for a long time. Earls should be proud to have her out on their floor! Good atmosphere all around, great job earls St. Albert!

Three of my former hockey teammates happened to find ourselves at the Earls in St. Albert. We did not think we would get in ...it was Friday night and it appeared busy...but we did and sat in the corner, we were soooo impressed with the atmosphere. A real energy to the place. Good mix of ages...which was nice. We were there for a bit and our server/host made sure we had time to look the menu over, made a recommendation (which one of my buddies got) and we had everything arrive fast. They were busy and the girl taking care of us was patient for a bunch of old dudes. She smiled and had a wonderful personality and her professionalism was great.....thanks Brooke for making a memorable evening.

Always excellent at Earls St.Albert. We came in the other night for happy hour and Brooke took care of us! She is amazing! She gave excellent drink recommendations , I had an aperol spritz and my cousin took her recommendation of a passionfruit martini, which I tried.. sooo amazing!!! Will order next visit! Service was quick as always and the entire staff was exceptional with making our night so great! Thanks Earls St.Albert! We will be back!!

First time attendees at Earls at this location. Brooke had a wonderful attitude great hustle and knows her menu. Brooke makes you feel as you are the only people there dining. Her attention to detail is spot on. Thanks Brooke for making the evening memorable. We are looking forward to our next dinner.

The gastropub Central Social Hall, located at 280, 525 St. Albert Trail, offers a dining room that is currently open with limited seating capacity. Reservations are recommended for a guaranteed spot. Customers can enjoy Sunday brunch and experience friendly and personable service from the excellent waitstaff. Although the service could have been slightly faster due to high demand, it was understandable considering the busy atmosphere.
What a fabulous culinary and service excellence experience. The atmosphere was happy and relaxed. A while back I had posted a negative review regarding my experience here and general manager Taylor reached out to me immediately to see if we would give them another chance, and we were WOWED. The food was delicious, full of flavour, the service extraordinary, and the staff exceptional. I have to thank Taylor and Sarah so very much for the kindness and attention to detail in making my daughter and granddaughter so very happy (the reason I wanted to take them out somewhere the first time). My daughter, granddaughter, and I will most definitely be back, along with others.

I am giving it a 4, hopefully the owner/manager will read my review all the way to end and find out why 4 ! I was in St. Albert for a day business trip and stopped at this restaurant for dinner. Everything impressed me, from the welcoming staff, sporty cool casual atmosphere, nice friendly waitresses, and finally delicious well prepared foods and their selection of drinks and local beers. We ordered burger with onion rings and fish and chips. Seriously delicious. Big shout out to the chef and kitchen staff. And to our amazing waitress. Now, the only disappointment which I hope brings it to the attention of the manager! The booth we are sitting, and I noticed at least one more booth next to us, had ripped off leather parts which to me for a such an amazing restaurant is not acceptable, should be noticed, should be taken care of. Took away one star from my would be 5 star review. I will be back in 6 months and will sure have dinner here again and check out those ripped off booths.

We made a reservation here on a Sunday for brunch after a first communion celebration. We showed up and someone had missed our reservation on the tablet so they had to quickly come up with a plan and get us our table for 9. They did so and I. Relatively good timing so our party was seated and ready to order. The waitress was attentive, assisted my little with a booster seat and took our kids orders first so they could get started eating. The manager I was told talked to my other child and asked what the occasion was. After hearing the answer he said my child could get a dessert on the house. He was thrilled. Everyone seemed fyi enjoy their food choices; steak and potatoes, breakfast burger (huge but messy to eat), cesser salad side (so yummy says my kid), the cure, breakfast bowl was yummy but could have used more avocado. All in all it was a good experience and I enjoy coming to this establishment.

What an incredible experience! They donated a chef's table experience for 4 to an animal rescue organization and I bought it and we had the most amazing dinner! Taylor the manager and all of our servers were amazing. We had truly VIP service, from responsive scheduling , to arriving to a beautiful set aside table with a chilled bottle of Prosecco waiting for us. The food kept coming and was wonderful, and they brought us plenty of to go boxes because we couldn't possibly eat it all. Will definitely be back!

Small family get together here was great. We got to sit outside on the deck which was nice. Waitress was the best. Very accommodating, drinks were great. Food was good, the 6 little wings off the happy hour menu were kinda disappointing but otherwise no other concerns. The ladies loved all the live flowers growing along the outside deck. Thanks.

When you go early for dinner sometimes it's a hit or miss. This dinner was definitely a Miss. My garlic shrimp seems steamed and had no garlic flavor whatsoever instead of the shrimp grilled. All the steaks, potatoes and broccolini were cold and the horrible thing is that every time you're trying to have a conversation, fruit flies are flying all around. Service was good though.

My husband and I had a great time at Central Social Hall! Our server was amazing—she explained the menu well and checked on us to make sure everything was good. I ordered the Backyard Burger but forgot to ask for no bacon, and she kindly got it replaced for me. My husband had the Texas BBQ Chicken and it was absolutely delicious. Great food and excellent service—we’ll definitely be back!

Great food, waited for our food forever while the person beside that was seated 10 mins after got their food and then we waited another 15 mins before we got ours. We had to walk up and request utensils, then they messed up our order so we waited longer. Like I said really good food but the service wasn’t the best.

This location was wonderful and accommodating. I had an 80 yr old with a walker and a 2 yr old with a stroller, and I was able to bring both in and put off to the side. We were given a table in the back, which was appreciated as the toddler was being fussy. But he sure loved everything, lol! Thank you to all the staff for your kindness and patience. The food was pretty good, too!

I've been attending Cora's for over 15 years and the food has always been consistent and decent. My good friend's sibling owned and operated a Cora's so we got to try most of the menu items. My rating reflects my overall interest in Cora's menu over the years. I feel that they have not really innovated with breakfast trends. That being said, you will always get a solid meal and it's a great place to take the family.

Restaurant
Browns Socialhouse on 840 St Albert Trail offers dine-in, takeout, and delivery options. Customers can order through online pickup, Uber Eats, or Skip the Dishes. The restaurant is conveniently located near a movie theater and has received positive reviews for its friendly and attentive staff. The menu features a variety of pub fare, including gluten-free options. While the loaded nachos were tasty, some customers found them to be slightly overdone.
First time at Browns Socialhouse. Went for dinner. Sat outside in their patio, lots of room for parties or just out with a friend. Tables are big and the chairs are comfy! The food was amazing, love their slushy Bellini drink 🍹 it’s so good! I’ll definitely be back, the service was fantastic and our server was super nice! I highly recommend this place☀️

First time here and the atmosphere is really nice. Very busy, our server was attentive and the food was good, service was fast. We were not rushed at all and that in itself says a lot about the clientele returning often this being only one of the many reasons. Highly recommend.
De66ee G — Google review
Food was actually decent but most definitely not worth the price. One original burger, an order of hot wings and an ice tea was $52. Even though service was very good, food was not worth the money. Could actually go to the Keg and have 2 full size Keg burgers with fries for less than that AND it’s much better quality and portions. Don’t really recommend this restaurant.
Tarik S — Google review
Overall not a great experience. The location of the host stand is in an awkward place at the back of the restaurant you need to walk through the restaurant to be seated. We had to order our food on three separate times as the waitress kept coming back minutes later to tell us what we ordered wasn’t available. Because of this it took us an extra 15 minutes to order. We had to wait about 45 minutes for one order of fish tacos and the taste was below average. We also got overcharged for our drinks as they were on special. Overall you can tell that the restaurant is poorly run and the staff aren’t properly trained. The Bellini’s did taste good though.

Absolutely love this place. The food is good, quantity, quality and ambience are 10/10. Just that service is a little slow but over all good experience.

Took friends out for supper. Food was good but the coffee at the end was like warm, brought it to servers attention who asked if we wanted it warmed up; no wanted it replaced. Replacement was no better. At cheque time I told this to server and she stated they had issues with coffee maker and she'd bring it to managers attention. I paid the full bill but feel server should have reduced bill by the coffee which was not consumed. Not a great way to finish a great evening.

Dry ribs were great but should have come with lemon. So we asked and never got it. We barely saw our waitress. Why would they call it a spicy chicken sandwich when it's a burger??? Our waitress let me know it was a 2.25 charge for adding pickles. For 5 thinly sliced pickles. 😳 Yikes

The manager Jadyn and the servers are absolutely fantastic we always have such incredible service whether it’s crazy busy like this evening or a quiet evening they always provide a meaningful service. They always provide great recommendations and are always trying to rectify any situation that may not have gone out as planned. Tealicious Blend, located in downtown St. Albert, offers a unique Korean-style fluffy egg sandwich experience that is worth trying. The cafe serves massive and delicious buttery brioche toast sandwiches with various filling options such as spam and egg, smoked salmon, beef teriyaki, BLT, and garlic bacon cheese. The space provides a nice stop-and-go bubble tea cafe atmosphere where friendly staff greet you upon arrival.
Consistently amazing—deserves all 5 stars! After many happy visits to Tealicious Blend, I truly believe the owners deserve this glowing review. Every time we stop by for our bubble tea fix and snacks, the experience is always satisfying. The location is fantastic—right off St. Albert Trail near downtown, with easy parking. It's no surprise they were voted one of the best businesses in St. Albert! On our latest visit, I enjoyed my favorite milk tea along with a delicious Smoked Salmon Sandwich—so flavorful and satisfying. I also picked up bubble teas for my family: Cookies & Cream, Taro, and a classic Milk Tea. We were lucky to catch their awesome promo: buy 3 bubble teas, get 1 free! Such a thoughtful perk for customers. The service is fast and friendly, and the space is clean, cozy, and very family-friendly. My mom also appreciates the comfortable seating, and the kids will love their claw machine—it’s a win for everyone! Highly recommend this spot for great food, great drinks, and genuine hospitality. - Ronette

Kawaii! What a cute cafe, with a little plushy claw machine! I had the #3 combo (avocado bacon sandwich, reg fries, taro milk w/tapioca) $19.25 +tax. MY GOODNESS the sandwich slaps harder than Vasilii Kamotskii and looks identical to the menu picture for the gram. The egg was done perfectly and not to heavy or greasy. Toast was also amazing. The fries look and taste like the Costco ones that are crispy... iykyn these are great. Taro milk tea was delicious, at least I think it was, I only had 1 sip before my partner necked it like a pledge on haze week.

If you're on the hunt for an unforgettable pizza experience in St. Albert, look no further than Pizza Garage! This gem offers a delightful array of styles, including Detroit Style, Chicago Bar Pie Style, and New York Style pizzas that are sure to tantalize your taste buds. Many visitors rave about their signature creations like Porkys Revenge and Nice 2 Meat You, which showcase the restaurant's commitment to quality ingredients and innovative flavors.
I've been looking for a decent NY style pizza for a while and I've finally found one that ranks as a really good choice. The toppings and cheese are bang on and the tomato sauce is fantastic. The sauce has a old world Italy taste of fresh tomatoes and a light amount of seasoning. Well done. I had my first Bar Pie last night and it was seriously better than the NY Style. The crust was crispy and slightly chewy all at the same time, the toppings stayed put which I love. The flavours were all there and it was ready in 15 minutes. After two visits I would have to say this is the best pizza in St Albert if not the entire Edmonton Area.
Adam S — Google review
The sauce was rich and flavorful, with just the right amount of tanginess, and the cheese was melted to perfection. The toppings were fresh, generous, and well-balanced, making every bite a delight. I highly recommend it to buy your pizza 🍕 here. 🍕

My fiance found this place on Google and we decided to give it a try. We are still fairly new to St. Albert and I am actually rather sad we didn't find out about this place sooner! The food was absolutely incredible. He went in to order and said the place was wonderful and the service was great! I'm not sure which pizza we got, he can't remember the name of it but hands down it was one the best pizzas I have ever had. The ingredients were fresh and REAL. It had the perfect amount of sauce. Everything tasted soo good and every bite was delicious. I think we just found our new pizza place. If you're reading my review and thinking about trying this place, please do. You will not be disappointed. We will 1000% order again. Sorry about the half eaten pizza in the photo but I had to try it first before taking a photo. Incredible.

First time ordering from Pizza Garage , it was amazing and we will ONLY order from here now!!! We moved from Windsor to Edmonton a year and a half ago and have struggled finding our pizza fix, nothing has compared to back home. We ordered the NY VIA 313 because of the shredded pepperoni and it tastes exactly like home. Afterwards I noticed they actually have a Windsor pizza which we will be ordering next!!
Carol D — Google review
We learned of Pizza Garage about a year ago. It is our go to pizza place. We probably order once every six weeks. The NY Chevrolet is what we like, today we got two of them - one with extra sauce. Best part is the use of real ingredients so the taste is incredible.
Miss S — Google review
First time having pizza from Pizza Garage Very friendly guy in the front and a ton of drinks to choose from . Not just your basic pop and juice. We got Le Ferrari, meat mountain and Hawaiian with extra pineapple. This place only has medium or large pizzas. And for 3 pizzas it was quite expensive. My husband and son loved their pizzas, but mine was like every other Hawaiian pizza, just with extra pineapple, which they didn’t skimp on.
Cindy — Google review
I ordered the Detroit Style Pizza Fury BBQ Chicken. Apparently, it's the best seller, so I had to try. It was good to try but not good enough to order again. It came in a smaller box and the pizza did weigh slightly lighter than the NY style pizza. I also ordered the NY Style Pizza Nice 2 Meat U, also a best seller. Now that pizza was good. It had a good combination of flavors. Reminded of a hot honey pizza I had in NY. I'll be back to try another flavor. Came back again: the Lamborghini is another good choice!
Kev P — Google review
Year later : STILL top notch , actually went in for once and great customer service. Officially tried New York pizzas while travelling and Pizza Garage nails it. As Authentic as it gets! Do not sleep on the New York style pizzas they are by far the best I’ve had in Edmonton. Great signature pizzas but have a few where they got creative and absolutely crushed it. The hot honey is a perfect touch! if you like Detroit style they do it justice too. Exotic drinks & snacks to complete the meal 👌

Sushi Yuzen is a casual Japanese eatery located in a strip center, offering classic Japanese dishes such as sushi, donburi, and ramen. The menu includes a variety of options including sushi burritos, appetizers, nigiri sushi, sashimi, cones, urumaki and maki.
Placed a pre order for an event and there was a bit of a mixup. Owner was very kind and made up for the mistake. Sushi is always good 😊 Will continue to come to Yuzen. Thank you!

This tiny take out restaurant is pretty good! Toro(tuna belly) was melt in your mouth fresh. Salmon skin cone was bombs. Alaskan salmon roll also good. Tako wasabi was tasty as well. I like how they don't use tempura batter/crabmeat as fillers for their rolls, as some restaurants do. Would definitely come here again.

Been coming to Yuzen since opening week at the original location and can't say enough good things about them. Hands down the best sushi place I have ever been too. Ok, I have to edit my comment. This is great sushi but the health code violations are too much to take! Both locations are phenomenal! Menu is simple and delightful; they really think outside the pizza box. Local ingredients as often as possible, local beers and other bevvies, and a beautiful story behind how it all started. First time trying out - and it was a hit! Awesome decor, quick service and super tasty. The friendly staff adds to the welcoming atmosphere, ensuring you feel right at home despite the limited seating.
I'm reluctant to give away the secret spor for pho in town but this place has hands down the best. From their home.made broth and beef balls to the freshness of the ingredients it is very good and the banh mi subs ate great aswell. Super good alternative to the big sub chains and worth a stop
Dixin S — Google review
Ordered take out as I am traveling through town. I have never been so angry receiving an order from a restaurant. This is honestly a scam. Ordered the Tom Yum Soup — it came with no noodles. The soup is 6 mushrooms, a couple cuts of celery, canned tomatoes, and a single shrimp. This was $18. We also ordered the vegetable soup, again it did not come with noodles. I’ve attached a photo of the menu that we ordered from, which lists the soups immediately following the noodle / vermicelli dishes. We called in immediately as it was surely a simple mistake. The woman on the phone was incredibly rude and simply told us “noodles must be ordered additionally”, all the while their menu does not state that anywhere — nor did they ever ask at the time of ordering “would you like to add noodles?”. With zero resolution to any of this, the woman immediately told us “anyway we are closed” and ended the call (around 7:45). Who in their right might would order this, or anticipate it doesn’t include noodles? I have never in my life experienced this from a Vietnamese restaurant. I live in Vancouver and frequent various Vietnamese restaurants weekly, and have spent months traveling in Vietnam. I am in disbelief as to how someone can sell clear broth, canned vegetables, and a single shrimp to a customer for nearly $20 and sleep at night.
R W — Google review
First time here and though there are only 4 tables, the sub was delicious. The meat was plentiful and the bread just made the sub excellent. Menu has many choices and I found the prices really reasonable, definitely worth checking out. Service was great and we were well looked after.

My son and I ordered beef pho, bun bo hue, and spring rolls. I made the mistake of asking for pho noodles in them, and I got rice noodles instead. The soup was ok, and the portions were very small. Spring rolls sizes were also on a diet and did not come with fish sauce but rather plum sauce in a packet. The garnish(bean sprouts and lime) was old and dried out. There is no washroom in the facility, so beware. The ambiance of the place was very donair like(not to say donair places are dirty or anything). I didn't try the sandwiches, but I did see them getting made, and after seeing that, I would make the trek to Chinatown and get one that will somewhat taste close to a banh mi. The king of banh mi is in Calgary at a place called ThiThi. Unfortunately no one in Edmonton is even close to that. We have been to this location a few times but was really disappointed on the last one. Every time we have to wipe the tables clean. What annoyed me though this time is the young fellow that was working there was sitting on the back on his phone rather than cleaning the table that had dishes on it. What really got me though to write this review was the meat. Yes inflation is making everyone cut corners but using meat that is super chewy is completely unacceptable. Had to spit out over half the meat as it was full of gristle or plain simply not edible. Will give it one more chance at some point in time so hopefully by then they have things figured out.

We paid $44 plus 20% tip for lunch. My daughter wanted a bubble tea, she order one after lunch and paid with my Mastercard. The lady called me up to the register to charge me a tip for the bubble tea because my daughter didn’t know how to use the tip portion. She charged it separate, how pathetic. This place is not worth it, they skimp on the protein and the actual restaurant is not clean or maintained. There’s better places out there. We will not be coming back! They said they charged us for the bottle of water, we brought that from home. Check your camera! Thanks.

Popped into this quaint spot for some Pho. Boy were we pleasantly surprised. I had the Beef Satay and my daughter had the Beef Pho. The soup was soo good. Grear portions, reasonably priced. Staff was super friendly. Not a ton of seating..but was really clean. Definitely will be a repeat customer. Highly recommend:)

Seafood market
Effing Seafoods on Riel Drive is a delightful destination for seafood lovers, offering a unique and personal shopping experience. With a focus on cleanliness and customer service, this market allows one customer at a time to ensure an intimate atmosphere. Many patrons rave about the exceptional quality of their oysters and other seafood offerings. After winning a seafood platter, one lucky family discovered just how special Effing Seafoods can be—perfect for celebrating new beginnings!
Cannot say anything negative about this place. My boyfriend and I had a lackluster meal at a very expensive seafood place in Edmonton and instead of risking another bad meal, we decided to do it ourselves. The prices are amazing as far as inland prices can be, the person helping was knowledgeable and friendly. The meal itself....oh, my effing god. It was amazing!!! We ate crab and prawns for days and I cannot wait to get more.. still riding that crab high 😍

I’m thrilled to share my experience with Effing Seafood after winning a seafood platter for two. I typically go there to purchase their amazing oysters. Their staff is knowledgeable, friendly and genuine. My wife and I just became proud parents of a beautiful baby. 🥳👶 And after being sleep deprived after our first week post home birth. I received a call that I had won a platter for two. I had completely forgotten I had entered this contest…. But what an amazing gift to have as a new family. The instructions are easy to follow. It was a great way for us new parents to have a mini date night! Thank you for the amazing food and amazing service!

An absolute gem and a must visit for any seafood fans in the St. Albert and Edmonton area. We have been going to Effing for years now as they always have consistent quality and variety. I really appreciate that they will only bring in seafood if it's of excellent quality and they know where it comes from. I can not speak highly enough about this lovely establishment and the very friendly and helpful staff.

5+ stars! The Fish Club is a great way to get your hands on the best seafood around, and they offer delivery on this monthly subscription, which is handy if you live in Edmonton 😀 Rob and the team go above and beyond - from the variety, sustainable and top notch products, quality packaging and customer service... I highly recommend that you support this small business! You will not be disappointed.

Ordered the robs choice pack, Online it says you get fish like ora king bellies, tuna, swordfish and john dory. What they actually send is cheap cuts like haddock and sole, two small crab cakes a 2 lb bag of shrimp and 2 small pieces of halibut. Update, I got a call from effing seafoods explaining the products and value associated with each product. Total in store retail value comes to the same price as you pay for the robs choice pack. So no cost savings in buying the pack. You’re better off to just order what you want and know exactly what you’re getting. The quality of the products looks good just wasn’t what I was expecting for the money. Maybe the robs choice pack had my expectations set way too high.

We got some sashimi grade BC steelhead salmon and fresh scallops for our DIY sushi night and it turned out amazing! The person in charge gave great advice on the selection available, and was super friendly. Will definitely be back soon :)

We pre-ordered 6 dozen oysters for Father's Day and were very happy with the price, quality, and customer service. Price was lower than any other place I checked, each dozen was a different variety all from P.E.I., and we even received a phone call as a reminder for pickup day/time. Upon request they were able to package in a Styrofoam cooler to help us transport home. This will be our new go to.

Bakery
Grandin Bakery is a beloved institution in St. Albert, with over 50 years of experience in the bakery business. Their yeast-based doughnuts are a must-try, known for being lighter and airier than traditional cake-based ones. The bakery also offers popular sausage rolls and a wide variety of baked goods including cookies, pies, muffins, and bread. Located in Grandin Village on the north side of St.
I can't believe I went this long without trying Grandin... Now it's all I can think about. Their doughnuts are out of this world, the best doughnuts I've ever had. The cinnamon twist is my favorite so far. Also tried the sausage rolls and I'll be getting them again. They have an amazing selection of bread and really anything you would want from a bakery. The staff is absolutely amazing and we even got a free loaf of bread since it was our first visit. How lovely. Will be back soon. Worth the drive from the city.

Most amazing tasting donuts! Highly recommend the chocolate one 🤤🤤 it tastes like real good quality chocolate.

We had a great experience ordering and we were so pleased with the beautiful cake and cookies! Thank you!!!

I visited this bakery on my trip to St. Albert from Winnipeg. I went in to place an order for a custom made cake. The front counter staff was extremely rude. I did not feel welcomed, and she said “we don’t have time”. I had my coffee in my hand and I placed it on the counter for a sec while I show her a picture. She rudely said not to place my cup on the counter and pointed at their sign. Keep in mind I had never been to this bakery before. And I did not even see the sign even when she tried to point somewhere on their wall. You guys should train your staff on how to provide proper customer service.

I love this little bakery! It’s a staple in the community and the staff are always friendly and welcoming! All their treats are great but their doughnuts don’t miss…especially the Boston Cream!

Moved to St. Albert last October and recently found Grandin Bakery donuts and buns! 🙌🏼best out there !! Super delicious and fresh. Highly recommend for all your baked goods!

I bought donuts for work today. OMG....the softest yummiest donuts I have ever had. Amazing selection! They were a huge hit!
Bernadine T — Google review
Ok so, their donuts are fantastic! I had the privilege to enter their establishment to see a full donut counter “ a rarity ” and whiteness these delicious delights in their full glory, so many wonderful combinations. My wife was ecstatic when we revealed her a Neapolitan cake topped with a couple of Grandin’s artisan cookies for mother’s day. Thank you for helping make her mother’s day that much more sweet!

Restaurant
If you're on the hunt for a delightful Vietnamese dining experience, look no further than Red Brick Wall in St. Albert. This charming family-run restaurant has quickly become a local favorite, known for its consistently delicious offerings. While many patrons rave about the noodle bowls—especially the vermicelli and bun bowls—there's also much love for their crispy garlic chicken wings paired with chili oil and authentic Pho. The warm and welcoming service adds to the overall experience, making it feel like home away from home.
This was a surprising delight! It is a small place with a friendly atmosphere. The food was delicious! Our server was very knowledgeable and willing to make suggestions. She was also a lot of fun! We all really enjoyed her banter.
Cathy W — Google review
One of our regular Vietnamese places in St.Albert. Food is always good, but I recommend the noodle bowls over the soups. The Pad Thai is delicious! We always order takeout, but tonight we decided to dine in. Although the service was amazing, I definitely recommend takeout. Portion size and quality is good value for what you pay. Will continue to be a regular customer!
Eddy B — Google review
Red Brick Wall is a decent spot in St. Albert. The food was good, nothing over the top but still enjoyable. The place has a nice, casual vibe — a solid choice if you’re looking for something simple and satisfying.
Jai R — Google review
Things have really gone downhill since we last ordered a few months ago. My pick up order today was a half an hour late, good thing I don’t have other things to do, Salad rolls were bland, and the peanut sauce now has no flavor, as if it was just some kind of gravy with peanut chunks in it. The soup broth was like warm tap water, not to mention the hair that was found in it, and the portion sizes have decreased, yet this place is not cheap. Really gone downhill and I’m sorry to say the great experience with the Red Brick Wall is over, new management? I don’t know, but I’m taking my business to a different place, thank you for the past good food and service it once had but is now disappointing.

First visit tonight. The food was amazing and the service was warm and welcoming. It’s a quaint family run restaurant and the flavours great. The vermicelli bowls are flavourful and so fresh with vegetables. Very nice portions too. It reminded me so much of a place my dad used to take me when I was a kid in LA’s Little Saigon.

I’ve been here twice and both times I’ve enjoyed everything!! The service is amazing. The lady who runs front of house remembers what you like! The crispy garlic chicken wings are so damn good…especially with the chili oil! The Pho is authentic and the cigar shaped, pork spring rolls are tasty! My new favourite spot in St. Al’s!!
Kelly G — Google review
Good quality ingredients. A little different than your typical Vietnamese. Oh so good. Vermicelli bowls, bun bowls hue, and beef sate are my favourites. Gluten free options on some items are great as well ( my wife gets the gf pad Thai option and loves it).
Curt R — Google review
Food was ok, ambiance and service were sub par though. There was a bunch of boxes and stuff covering a table in the dining room, the food was all brought out at different times for 3 of us. Waitress never checked with us, I had to go grab my own chopsticks. Water were never refilled, small teapot big enough for one cup was brought out for two of us having tea. It was ok but I wouldn’t return.

Dinner Factory Canada is a fantastic spot for meal preparation, offering fresh and delicious options that keep customers coming back. While they no longer allow customers to assemble their meals on-site, the dedicated staff ensures a safe environment by wearing masks and gloves while maintaining social distancing protocols. Many patrons rave about the quality of the meats used in their dishes, with particular praise for their donair pizza.
I’ve been using them from months there meals are always fresh and tasty .Best quality meats.

I arrived to try Dinner Factory. A family member had given me a $150 gift card a couple of years ago, and I hadn't used it. They refused to honour it because they said the business had been sold to new owners. When you purchase a business, you purchase their existing assets and liabilities, including outstanding gift cards. I walked out, and I definitely will not be back.

Ordered 50$ worth of food got none of the items I ordered. The food I was sent was not very good. Sandwiches were clearly made with very old chicken salad. Ordered beef stew and was sent beef stroganoff the meat was so over cooked and tough we just threw it all out.
Lucas H — Google review
Won't be back. We originally purchased some Korean BBQ rib meal that was @$30 one day but when daughter brought it home it definitely wasn't enough for a meal for more than 2 people, and was mis-packaged. They were willing and eager to allow us to bring it in and return it for credit/swap. I did and upgraded it to a larger chicken parmesan meal for $54. I kept it frozen for later use. We tried it today. Chicken was on the spicy side and tomatoes sauce thick and pungent for our liking.... so really was a waste of $50. Two stars for the customer service willing to make it right. Won't try again though.
Lisa R — Google review
Ordered delivery, food did not leave the restaurant for twice as long as the expected delivery time and arrived cold. None of the items looked like the listed photos. Beef burgers were missing 2/4 toppings and poor quality, patty was dry and thin. I even tried covering up the burger in ketchup to try and just eat it but still tossed out half and just gave up which is wild. Brocolli and carrots had spilt cheese sauce through out the entire bag they were pretty bland but somehow ended up being the best item. Seasoned veggies were heavily salted. Mango shake with ice cream just tasted like a chunky blended mango not sweet and literally a chunky shake. Honestly I don't complain often, we tried to give each item a reasonable shot before judging the order ended up tossing out half the food. Genuinely disappointed in all items even though they were all listed as their most liked items.

Nestled in an elegant setting, Nello's Restaurant is a refined eatery that transports you straight to Italy with its classic Italian entrees and delectable pasta dishes. Absolutely 10/10 from start to finish. Excellent food, high quality ingredients and fantastic presentation. Service was TOP NOTCH, not rushed at all. The servers, bartenders and kitchen staff truly go above and beyond to ensure a high level of quality. I personally want to thank Raj for his outstanding service, he was extremely helpful and really made our experience special. We will be back!!

Food was excellent. Appetizers could be main course due to portion size. Staff know their products and service. Down side is acoustic is loud when lots of people are conversing. Nice that they have the note for no baseball hats inside restaurant. Maybe long pants for men also??

First time visit and heard it was a great place to eat. It most definitely WAS! Fabulous food and they were very accommodating considering we didn’t reserve a spot. Dora was great as our Server and entertainer as we watched her work flawlessly both taking care of us and mixing all of the restaurant drinks. Definitely will be back. 😊😋

If you're looking for cozy, flavorful dishes, Nello's never disappoints. Their lamb app is tender and rich, and the chicken parmesan is easily the best I've had in Edmonton. Whether dining in or ordering takeout, every meal I've had here has been consistently excellent. Highly recommend!

After being highly recommended by family members, my husband and I decided to check it out here for our first wedding anniversary. We had a reservation and first it took a while to be acknowledged by someone that we were waiting at the front door. Then when we were, our waitress said she’d be right back as she wanted to set a table for us which wasn’t a big deal but I watched her do a bunch of other things while we were still waiting, standing at the front, which annoyed me a little bit. The food was very good and people aren’t lying about the portions! Prices were pricey but the portion size makes up for it. While I really, really enjoyed the food, both my husband and I got incredibly ill basically at the exact same time after eating here. I don’t think I could ever come back now after getting so ill. Definitely made for a memorable first wedding anniversary, unfortunately in the wrong way. 😅

We gave up on Nello's two years ago and wrote a very poor review. Two weeks ago we returned to try it again. Review went from a two to a five...... great improvement ! Food was absolutely delicious, served hot and tasty. Staff attentive and polite, atmosphere just right. We will return.

Nellos has the most amazing waitress. Her name is Audrey and she was outstanding. We were at the restaurant tonight celebrating my mother inlaws birthday and we were a party of 9. She was amazing and most of all so friendly. Its very hard to go anywhere and get good service anymore. Nello's you have an amazing waitress. Thanks for the amazing food and amazing service.
