Italian restaurant
Restaurant
Primal Pasta is an award-winning restaurant in Saskatoon that offers traditional Italian cuisine and handmade pasta using local heritage grains and whole animal butchery. The chefs have global experience, bringing a unique twist to classic pasta dishes. The restaurant has received accolades, making it to the top 100 restaurants in Canada on both OpenTable's and Air Canada's lists.
We were up from Regina for telemiracle, Primal was recommended to us. The entire experience was perfect. Easy reservation, great confirmation call, we were seated quickly, and, most importantly, the food and service was stellar (thank you Aaron). We did the tasting menu with wine pairings and were very happy with all of it. Beet salad, endive salad, beef tartare, bone marrow, bolognese, goat cheese rigatoni (very goat cheesy-a must try if you love goat cheese), primal cut, chicken and polenta, butterscotch dessert & tiramisu. We will be back

First time here and wow—we were blown away! Had no idea what to order, but Sam’s recommendations were spot on. Delicious food, great atmosphere, and the BEST service. Sam, you made our night unforgettable. We’re definitely coming back! 👏🍽️✨ You're awesome, Sam! Keep slayin' ♡

An authentic upscale Italian experience. The tasting menu options are perfectly portioned to allow you to enjoy the full experience and leave satisfied. The wine pairings were expertly picked to go with each of the dishes.

My boyfriend and I visited Primal after hearing many great things, and overall it was a wonderful experience. We started with the Fried Bread, Bison Carpaccio, and Bone Marrow. The Fried Bread was served hot and fresh, and the Bison Carpaccio was excellent with a bright, fresh salad. The Bone Marrow portion was very generous—half was rich and buttery, but the other half unfortunately had a strange smell and aftertaste. For mains (which I forgot to take a picture of), I ordered the Carbonara. It was tasty, though a little runny and not as cheesy as I had hoped, but still enjoyable. My boyfriend had the Bison steak, which he loved. The portion size was good, and the vegetables on the side were exceptionally well cooked and seasoned. Dessert was the highlight of the night. As a tiramisu lover, I can honestly say, it is the best I’ve had in Saskatoon in a long time—rich, traditional, creamy, and full of flavor. We also tried the Butterscotch Budino, which was incredible: sweet, toasty, and perfectly balanced with sea salt. Service was excellent throughout. The staff checked in often, and even small touches like cleaning crumbs between courses made the experience feel thoughtful and professional. We’ll definitely return—especially for the Tiramisu and Butterscotch Budino, and to try more of their appetizers!

Absolutely amazing from start to finish. Very attentive staff, delicious food, fun drinks. A gem. The bone marrow appetizer was rich, and full of so much flavour. Horseradish on the side was a nice touch. A well crafted dish. I’m craving it right now. A random pop in turned into a great experience. Shot of sherry through the bone was a lot of fun. I’ll be back and recommend to others for sure.
Kenneth H — Google review
The best in town! Primal is no longer a hidden gem, but a gem nonetheless. If you’re looking to treat yourself to an evening with food as good as the service, this is the spot. The ambience is unmatched. It’s cozy and lively all at the same time. The service is always 10 out of 10. And then there’s the food. From the fry bread to the spaghetti pomodoro, everything here is amazing. “I can just make pasta at home.” I promise you, you can’t like this.
Paige U — Google review
Primal in Saskatoon is a cozy, upscale spot that celebrates local ingredients with a focus on handmade pasta made from Saskatchewan heritage grains and whole animal butchery. Located in the Riversdale neighborhood, it offers a warm, inviting atmosphere with a menu full of creative dishes like tagliatelle with pork and beef heart bolognese or ricotta cavatelli with basil almond pesto. For something special, their five-course tasting menu is a real treat. Whether you’re after a relaxed dinner or a more indulgent experience, Primal delivers thoughtful, flavorful Italian-inspired fare with a local twist.
Ryan M — Google review
The food had amazing flavours. I had the pan seared pickerel. Don’t let the eggplant scare you. The food is really outstanding! Every meal we had was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. I would recommend this restaurant for any special occasion. However my server asked how my meal was and was on to the next table before we even had a chance to to look up and answer her.

Canadian restaurant
Restaurant
Hearth Restaurant, located in Saskatoon, is a cozy neighborhood spot owned by Beth Rogers and Thayne Robstad. The restaurant offers a seasonal menu inspired by the bounty of the prairies, featuring regional favorites like potato and onion perogies and butter poached Northern pike. The menu includes small plates such as fish fry and smoked pike, as well as larger dishes like grilled carrots and chicken Kiev.
Hearth is my go-to restaurant in Saskatoon. It's the only spot in town that really meets the high dining standards I've seen in other cities around the world. The dishes are always well-executed with a lot of attention to detail, and the flavors stand out from anything else locally. I also appreciate that the menu changes every season—it keeps things interesting and gives you a reason to come back regularly. I also like that it's the only place where I'm not even done eating and in already thinking about my next visit. The atmosphere it's great and the architecture of their place it's also great. If you're looking for consistently great food, this is the place.

We are staying in Saskatoon for just one night on our Western Canada road trip so we wanted to pick a great place for a late lunch when we got in. I’m so glad we picked Hearth among 4 places in the downtown area. We walked up around 15:00 without a reservation on Sunday. It was busy on the patio but we were able to score a table in the shade over looking South Saskatchewan River and the promenade. Since our table was at one end of the patio, it was a great spot to people watch too. Everyone from the hostess and our waitress was very friendly and helpful. We placed our orders quickly even though there were quick a few good options on the brunch menu. I had a traditional breakfast and a Saskatoon berry lemonade and my husband ordered yogurt & granola and a long black. When he had told me he would be getting a long black, I had to do a double take in the menu and there it was. I could count with one hand how many places in western Canada I had been to with long black or café allongé on the menu. I was impressed and he said it was very good too. My breakfast was scrumptious with 2 thick pieces of sour dough toasts, 2 plump sausage patties, 2 perfectly fried (with brown edges) sunny side up eggs and crispy and soft potatoes! I ate very slowly to enjoy every bite with my refreshing lemonade on the beautiful patio in a warm & sunny late Sunday afternoon.

Stars infinity. Everything was perfect. The drink, the entree and the dessert. Most flavorful things I've ever had. So warm and long lasting flavors, I finished each dish. Portions were perfect, I couldn't be happier. I had the Saskatoon Club, Smoked Trout, and sticky toffee pudding with homemade ice cream. If I am ever in this area again, I will eat all of my meals here! Everything was nice and light and still so affordable for such quality! Thank you for the amuse-bouche. Very unexpected! I had the borscht. Normally I don't care for beets, but I loved your borscht!

Situated inside a spectacular gallery, Hearth Restaurant is a lovely spot to dine. We caught up with old friends from school on a reunion weekend. Seated on the patio for lunch, we enjoyed delicious food, with a water view on a spectacular late June day. The food was beautifully plated. Our server was attentive but never intrusive, giving us ample time together. We will definitely be back when we travel here again!

AAAAHHHH Hearth, you are one amazing restaurant! Me and the family enjoyed Hearth right after walking through the rRemai mModern Museum (it has its own Google review). Imagine this, it was a beautiful Spring-Summer weather in Saskatoon sitting at around 27C and you are sitting in the patio with a cold beer in hand and having lunch with family….life is good! First of, we had wonderful servers but didn’t get the chance to get their names, you guys know who you are(gentleman with pink funky glasses and another one with a peace tattoo on his wrist, you guys are great! Here comes the food….. 1. I got their burger, Juicy med rare 6 oz beef patty with crispy spring mix and a nicely toasted brioche bun…oh yeah and the home fries, YUM!!! 2. Saki got the daily special, beer battered Pike fillet i the same Bun and soup to pair with. It was one of the best beer battered fish we’ve had and the best fish in a bun at that! 3. My BIL and Niece both got the Bolognese and it was delightful. Sauce nicely covered the pasta and the pasta was just perfectly cooked! *Chef’s Kiss* 4. Max got the kids cheeseburger and a side of poutine…he rates it 1000 out of 10. The poutine was extra yummy with a dollop of (was it like a creamy chimichurri or blue cheese dressing) 5. My other sisters(all 3 of them) all got the BLT with different sides. It was a humongous Sammy but it was not heavy. The bread is nicely toasted and it was very light. The bacon was crispy and not too salty. Crispy spring lettuce and a nicely toasted slice of tomato, can’t go wrong. I Highly recommend Hearth. What can I say, Cold beer in hand, delicious meal and nice tan, all is good! Make sure to call for a reservation, we just got luck we were there early and was able to snag a good spot in the patio.

The restaurant has a stylish and elegant atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable right away. The food and desserts offer unique flavors that let you experience something new. They’re also very cooperative when it comes to celebrating special occasions like birthdays — just make sure to coordinate with them in advance. Overall, it was a great experience and I’d definitely come back.

I had the experience of eating at this restaurant a few times now . We came here for lunch and brunch with some company. We all enjoyed our time here as ithe atmosphere was relaxed and quiet enough to easily have a conversation. The Hearth restaurant is located inside the Remai Modern Art Museum next to the gift shop when you walk in. It also has an outdoor seating area that would be nice on a nice day with great views even though we sat inside. I had the burger and it was very delicious and would have it again.

Fantastic atmosphere and delicious food. I had the tasting menu which was very pretty nice! Faves were the cucumber appetizer and the wonderful Saskatoon berry crumble. So so good.

Asian restaurant
Odd Couple Restaurant is a trendy spot offering a fusion of Asian and Canadian flavors in a modern, sleek setting. The menu features creative dishes with ingredients from Cantonese, Vietnamese, and Japanese cuisine. The restaurant's warm atmosphere and changing weekly menu based on seasonal ingredients make it a favorite among locals and visitors. Owned by Andy and Rachel Yuen, the place is known for its playful menu featuring dumplings, spring rolls, noodles with locally sourced meat, and juicy Thai-style ribs.
In town for a couple days and didn’t restaurant search, this place highly recommended and did not disappoint. The food was incredible and the portion sizes were large at a reasonable price. Their team were very friendly and engaging but seemed to know when to leave you alone and when to check in. Their house made ice tea is a must and the perfect non alcoholic pairing for those in need. Their spring rolls are killer both sleep on their Tom Yum dumplings… drink that broth. I had the drunken noodles, they had the perfect heat level and if you like it hotter they offer sriracha and house chilli oil. Well worth a stop, already looking forward to next year’s visit so I can work my way through the menu.
Rob E — Google review
The food really is great here, ordered the wontons for appies and the Beef Tenderloin with Coconut Rice and Crying Tiger Beef Skewers for mains, they were all very delicious! The Beef Tenderloin lived up to its name and was indeed very tender and packed with flavour! Ambiance was nice, it’s a pretty cramped space so the ambient noise from lively chatter is indeed very noticeable and the music is not on deafening levels so i’d say it has its own charm. Sidnote, not a criticism, but their chilli oil does have shrimp paste mixed with it. It was delicious but just a heads up for people with allergies and or issues about shellfish(?) Overall, had a great experience here, will definitely go back time and time again!

A fantastic Thai fusion restaurant (for anywhere, but definitely a star for Saskatoon). Went last night and got their seasonal set menu. Just delicious. Really nice spread, at a very reasonable price. I’m not sure what was my favourite - the lemon grass wraps were excellent, but I think it has to be the Green Thai Curry…. Or the Drunken Noodles… haha. Good sized portions, a little heat but not very spicy, left very full and happy. Excellent service too. We’ll be back.
Caroline A — Google review
The food was awful. We had the cauliflower wings and the batter was doughy and the cauliflower was missing seasoning while having a powdery texture on the outside that wasn’t pleasant. The vegan spring roll was also missing seasoning and the yam was trying to and taking away from what would have been a decent experience, we liked the fish sauce substitute. The tomato pad thai was the worst offender. No seasoning overcooked disaster that used way too much turmeric. Normally i would give places a second chance, but with nothing redeeming we wonder if the chef even cares about what they are serving. Will not return.
Christian O — Google review
We had an excellent dinner here. It's the kind of food that you hold in your mouth for an extra moment to savour all of the flavours. I wish we had tried this place earlier in our trip so that we could have enjoyed a second meal. The food was so good I forgot to take pictures first!
Sherry K — Google review
Odd Couple Restaurant in Saskatoon is an absolute gem for anyone who loves creative, bold flavors. I went here with my girlfriend, Mia, and from the moment we stepped in, the modern, cozy atmosphere made it the perfect spot for a casual yet special night out. The menu is full of inventive dishes that fuse Asian flavors with a Canadian twist, and every bite we tried was delicious. The bacon fried rice was savory and perfectly seasoned, while the ginger beef had just the right amount of spice and tenderness. The kung pao chicken and drunken noodles were flavorful, hearty, and beautifully presented. Each dish is made with care, bold flavors, and fresh ingredients. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome the entire time. Portions are generous, flavors are consistently excellent, and the overall experience combines fantastic food with a warm, inviting atmosphere. Whether you’re looking for a unique dining experience or just a night out with someone special, Odd Couple Restaurant is a must-visit. It’s cozy, vibrant, and unforgettable — Mia and I can’t wait to come back!
Tim O — Google review
Odd Couple is a fantastic restaurant, operated by equally fantastic people. My wife and I have enjoyed eating here through the years, so much so that we had Odd Couple cater our wedding! Andy and his staff were friendly, professional, and accommodating throughout the entire process, and at the wedding Andy even took the time to greet our guests and ask how they were enjoying the food. The food was incredible, and our guests loved it! My wife and I especially loved the green curry and vegan spring rolls. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience, or yummier food. We will continue to support this restaurant and the people that run it (as well as their new endeavour Sulu), and I urge anyone reading this review to do the same!

I grew up in the Saskatoon area and now live in Australia. I am hard to please when it comes to eating out - I have worked in the food industry in my youth, ran a restaurant, and am spoiled by some of the best and most innovative food in the world in Australia. I was floored - I ask forgiveness for all the negative things I have said about food in Saskatoon. If you love Asian and, in particular, Asian fusion - you must go to the Odd Couple. Not only is the food delicious and imaginative - they are hospitable and communicative about how and when they can serve you and attentive to all aspects of your journey. Thank you to Javier (am I right there?) for his stellar service - you are the 'king of your kingdom' in S'toon. And thank you to the couple - our neighbouring diners - who shared their Valentines Day discovery of the Odd Couple - who has ever raved about a Valentines Day Pris Fix meal? They did and they keep coming back. I will keep flying back for a meal. And the set menu is too generous - but we did not argue that point. Thank you!

Nestled in a seemingly unassuming exterior, Congress Beer House reveals itself as a vibrant gastro-pub that delights both locals and visitors alike. With an ever-evolving menu crafted by Chef Cole Dobranski, the establishment elevates traditional pub fare to new heights using seasonal local ingredients. Diners can indulge in an array of elevated comfort foods such as raw salmon poke bowls, smoked chicken pappardelle, and baked brie alongside their renowned burgers.
Had supper @Congress Beer House (215 2 Ave S, Saskatoon) on Friday night with my wife for our first visit and we had a fantastic time. The inside is beautiful, the beer was perfectly cold, and our server was quick and friendly. We’ll definitely be back!

We had another great dinner at Congress Beer House and it did not disappoint, as always! I ordered the Smoked Brisket Sandy and the Fish & Chips, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The brisket sandwich was packed with flavor, tender, and perfectly paired with their crispy fries topped with cheese and herbs. The fish was golden, flaky, and cooked just right, with a side of tartar sauce that complemented it perfectly. The portions were generous, and everything tasted fresh and made with care. Congress Beer House consistently delivers both in quality and atmosphere. It’s a great spot for a hearty meal and a cozy evening out. Definitely one of my go-to places in the city!

Quickly seated. Lots of options on draft from ales to hazy IPA to ambers and darker beer. I’m always impressed when the bartender is excited to show off the beer menu. Not afraid to say what they like and don’t like. Food was delicious and every dish that walked by smelled amazing. Opens later on Mondays.

Another fantastic dinner at Congress. The food, the service, and the atmosphere has always been a win for us. We shared the burger (with fries extra crispy), and both were well seasoned and very tasty. We also shared the soup (lemon chicken rice) and kale caesar salad. The soup was really, really flavourful and while I'm not a fan of kale, it was good. Service is friendly and attentive, the music is great, and the beer is cold. Can't ask for much more. Check it out people! They do it well.

Was there a week ago with a large group. Food was good, service was not. Server brought food to our table, spilled tarter sauce all over my back. Ruined my nice shirt and no one offered anything. No dry cleaning, taking care of the bill, etc. Left messages, email and voicemails for management. No one seems to care.

Edited : Nice place to spend your evenings, I only tried appetizers, roasted chicken was amazing! Had truffle fries, shrimp and pierogi taste was good not expensive too Wait time was more than usual but overall good experience Located right in the heart of downtown so parking could be an issue.

My friend and I had a lovely night of dinner and drinks here served by a lovely lady name Serena. She was quirky, quick to check on us for service, fun to deal with, and definitely made us laugh! 4/5 stars because the water was served to me 3 degrees colder than what I had asked for. Would definitely be willing to check out taco Tuesday...

The Yard & Flagon is a beloved Irish-themed pub and dining spot located in Saskatoon. Established in 1993, it has become an institution offering a cozy atmosphere and delicious comfort food with a twist. The menu includes loaded nachos, bone-in dry ribs, mouth-watering pub burgers, and even options for vegetarians. With a wide range of beers on tap and a chilled courtyard oasis featuring local and global brews, this pub provides an excellent place to unwind.
What a beauty little Gem the Yard & Flagon is! The staff was awesome and suggested the 7oz Sirloin Steak Sandwich with soup of the day (I believe it was a Curry coconut soup). One word to describe this meal.....Perfect. Ok, maybe a few more....The steak and the red wine reduction of mushrooms was awesome, very flavorful a definite must. And the soup was a great little side. Thanks Yard & Flagon.

Great Irish style pub, good food, a little loud but that's part of the experience! Servers get a bit busy so you may wait a while though.

First time going to Yard & Flagon! Ordered the Crab and Artichole dip as an appetizer, and I could taste the crab right away, very tasty! Healthy amount of cheese on the dip and plenty of tacos to go with it! The bison burger had caramelized onions and blue cheese on it, I loved the combination! The poutine had in-house fries, which tasted great! What really stood out was the Butternut Squash and Chickpea Curry stew! The stew had so much flavour to it and came with these fried coconut rice balls, which were so delicious! If my friend had not told me to order the stew, then I probably would have not... it turned out to be the absolute best thing! Very unique stew and is a must for next time! Friendly and efficient service as well as a nice atmosphere!

Fantastic experience at Yard & Flagon! Went there to catch the Blue Jays game and ended up staying for nearly seven hours at the same table. The staff were incredibly accommodating never rushed us, checked in just enough to make sure we were comfortable, and kept things friendly the whole time. The place has a great vibe, perfect for relaxing with friends, enjoying good food, and watching sports. Couldn’t have asked for a better spot to spend the day.

If you're exploring Saskatoon and looking for a delightful spot to unwind, Cathedral Social Hall is a must-visit. Nestled in the heart of the Central Business District, this inviting pub boasts large windows that frame breathtaking views of the iconic Bessborough Hotel across the street. Instead of wandering around searching for whimsical creatures hidden in its castle-like architecture, you can comfortably enjoy your drink while spotting them from your table.
Great little brewery. Modern design with lots of high top seating and a patio when it is nicer. Good beer selection and the wings and burgers were delicious!! Our server was the same for both of visits and she was great. Friendly and welcoming.

I rate this restaurant a solid 3/5 stars. The service at this establishment is sub par at best. I have been here twice and both times have been left waiting long periods of time for a server to bring food/drinks. The servers have an act for making you feel forgotten. The second time I went my experience was a bit better because of the server. Much of the menu I find to be basic and underwhelming. However, their nachos are amazing and a must order if you find yourself here. The chips are nicely seasoned, it was a fairly large portion and instead of grated cheese it was queso.. which was chefs kiss. The prices are fairly high for underwhelming food and average service. This restaurant is located in a prime location in the heart of downtown Saskatoon and attracts a lot of people and in my opinion, should be held to a higher standard.
Emma B — Google review
Came in when Mum came to town as she was staying in the nearby hotel. The food was so yummy and we just loved the bread! It was so soft and good as well. Great service to, due to the wasps the waitress allowed us to sit near outside instead so we could still get the sun but without the wasps (wasps are just wild this year its crazy), such kind and fast service.
H. T — Google review
We have been here several times over the past year. Each time we have been here the service has been good. I wouldn't say exceptional but definitely well above average. One of our favorites has been the spicy dill chicken burger, it is a must in our opinion. The fries are seasoned nicely and are some of the best that we have had. We tend to go during not busy times so I can't comment on what the service would be like during those times of day.

I've never felt compelled to write a negative review before, but our group had an exceptionally negative experience here. We waited 20 minutes to be acknowledged, another 10 minutes for our orders to be taken, and another 20 minutes to be served beer that was clearly faulted (per the opinion of four beer aficionados at the table). We had also ordered nachos at the outset, but after another 30 minutes of waiting we needed to leave in order to feed our at that time very hungry children. Service was inexplicably salty as our group was very patient and initially understanding. I hope that the owners take notice and do better for their patrons in future.

This is such a cool place in Saskatoon, and I cannot wait to go back. The beer, food and service was outstanding. The Guacamole and Chips were amazing. Best guacamole I have had. The perogies were very, very good, and were not something I would normally I order, but glad we did. The wing sauces were amazing and very unique. Thank you to Shasta for her great service!

Great design and very friendly staff. We were there during on a weekday during Happy Hour. There are some great specials. We had several of the beers on tap and a class of Hall Red wine. The beers were tasty and the Hall Red Wine is a little on the sweet side but a nice change from what I’m used to drinking. We also had the fish tacos (which are not part of Happy Hour). They were lightly battered without being too oily and filling. Perfect early evening. I’d return.

Odla is a restaurant and market that offers a unique farm-to-table experience, emphasizing its ties with Farm One Forty. The attached market store allows visitors to reconnect with Saskatchewan's food system. The restaurant's menu focuses on farm-fresh food, with an emphasis on seasonality, resulting in a menu subject to change. Some of the early highlights included dishes like pork pate with Saskatoon berry mustard and grilled beets with toasted quinoa.
Just experienced the 4-course tasting menu with vegetarian options and absolutely loved it! The menu encouraged us to step out of our comfort zones and try dishes we might not have ordered on our own — and every single one was fantastic. The portions were generous, the variety was impressive, and the flavors were incredibly well-balanced. A perfect way to sample a wide range of what the kitchen has to offer. We’ll definitely be back!

Where do I start…the food is so flavourful!! I decided to do the a la carte style and got the following items: trout, beets, Brussels sprouts and potatoes with the sourdough starter. Highly recommend for a tasty night out.
P S — Google review
So many restaurants’ food makes you feel pretty stuffed and heavy despite fresh and healthy ingredients. Odla is a place that does not do that. All the dishes I had, down to the poached pear dessert , kept me satisfied as well as didn’t weigh me down by unnecessary ingredients/ crème/ sauce. The combination of the tastes in the carrots, fish and poached pear were refreshing, light and felt like something you could really have everyday. And for that I felt like it is a 5*

Have been dining here for years but this was the first experience of the new menu which is a la carte. Ordered the pork schnitzel expecting a delicious experience but the schnitzel was so thin, it tasted like deep fried tissue paper covered in lettuce that was suppose to be like cesar salad. For $26, this was not what I had hoped for. I use to love coming here with delicious and filling entrees but I will likely not return. The service was great.

Bold flavors, house made ingredients, stunning presentation. The tasting menu was the perfect way to try a variety of dishes.

I highly recommend the tasting menu from Odla The whole experience was fantastic. The food was amazing. The fact that it’s farm to table and that you’re helping local producers in the area Is great !! Well, let’s get back to the food WOW !! Incredible flavours perfectly cooked and John. Our server was fantastic. Definitely go check out Odla!!

Edited: Still after even more dinners, Odla is our fave! We were celebrating a special birthday tonight. Had the Chef's Choice. It was incredible. An amazing 2 hour experience tonight. We enjoyed every minute. So many favourites, but if I had to pick one, the short rib was it. The cauliflower was so lovely I want to go back tomorrow and eat it again. The brussel sprouts were perfectly cooked and flavourful. The service was great as always. ******* We've been about 4 times now and every time the service has been excellent. We've had Jason as our server twice and he is so personable and attentive. We appreciate that the food is local. We can taste the difference. Highly recommend the Chef's Choice 4 course meal. We always order it and have always loved it. It is about 3 hours from start to finish. It's a real treat.

My girlfriend and I came here to celebrate and we had Jason as a server. Not only was Jason very knowledgeable about the menu but his service was exceptional. We ended up getting the 4-course experience and all we have to say is “wow”… everything exceptional; shoutout to the Chef. I will definitely be coming back as soon as possible. P.S. If you have ever thought about coming to Odla, please do not hesitate to do so. Also, please get the 4-course experience, it was simply sublime.

Flint is a beloved gem nestled in downtown Saskatoon, renowned for its vibrant atmosphere and extensive martini selection. This trendy cocktail bar has become a staple for locals and visitors alike, offering unique concoctions served in charming mason jars with flavors like creamsicle and spiked citrus punch. By day, Flint transforms into Poached Breakfast Bistro, where you can indulge in a delightful brunch featuring mouthwatering eggs benedict and housemade specialties that are sure to entice early risers.
The atmosphere was great and the cocktails were amazing. It wasn't busy and was less noisy so I enjoyed the fact that I could actually have conversations while enjoying a nice drink.

Flint is hands down one of Saskatoon’s gems. The food is consistently terrific and thoughtfully prepared, flavorful, and the perfect complement to their outstanding drink menu. Their martinis are some of the best in the city, crafted with care and balance, and the wine selection is impressive, offering something for every palate. Whether you’re stopping in for a casual evening or a night out with friends, Flint sets the bar high for atmosphere, quality, and service.

This place has a super cool vibe and the staff are super friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the food and drinks were not up to par. A few of us did not enjoy our cocktails (hey to each their own) but the food was honestly awful. My butternut squash risotto had no butternut squash from the few pieces I ate. The top was broiled to hard crunchy rice. Another friend had the chicken pot pie and also did not enjoy it. The meals are simply frozen then reheated and not for cheap either. The spinach dip also did not get eaten and neither did the charcuterie. All in all the food was extremely disappointing.

This is the current menu for people looking. It was a little deceiving seeing the menu on here and when we entered the restaurant 🤪 but anyhoo the service was excellent, the food was fantastic! They had special on for $10 martinis and those were so yummy. They even had gluten free options. Highly recommend!

The best espresso martini in the city! It’s consistently made great every time I’ve gone and ordered it. Cool vibe inside and the waitress and bartender was good! They now serve full food offerings to pair with a few drinks. Highly recommend.

10/10 experience: DELICIOUS drinks (read it again b/c that's how good they were), very fair regular pricing and good little deals on, awesome atmosphere (they had a movie playing!? so cute), and the music was expertly selected. Prompt and friendly service. I also loved that the staff seemed to be having a lot of fun. My group will absolutely be back - I honestly wish we could be back sooner!

Ayden Kitchen and Bar, founded by Top Chef Canada winner Chef Dale MacKay, offers a sophisticated take on comfort food with a global twist. The stylish and modern space provides a relaxed atmosphere with its rich dark woods and antique decor. The menu features internationally inspired dishes such as trout, pork loin, steak, and charcuterie.
This was my first time there and everything was like butter! We shared the burger and pork loin. They both melted in my mouth. The pork loin was so tender. I’ve had it other places where it was too tough or dry. The burger was so juicy and that homemade bun was both buttery and crispy on the edges. For dessert, the burnt honey crème caramel. I usually like cake desserts but decided to order it. It was SO delicious. So smooth and not too sweet. The caravan flavor lingers and pops in your mouth. We also tried Travis’ competition cocktail called the Hometown Hero and his Negroni. Tasty pairing. We’ll definitely return to try more dishes and cocktails.
Claire J — Google review
Such an amazing dining experience here. To be honest the menu descriptions seemed a bit intimidating but I went with the trout and it was amazing. Such an amazing dish. Really enjoyed it. I also got the friend potatoes which was also a delight, reminding me of my grandfather's fried potatoes who has since passed. We also had the drink special tonight, not sure what it was but it came with a blackberry in it and it was also delicious. We topped the night off with the apple sorbet which was the perfect balance of sweetness and loved the nuts at the bottom too! Would 100% come back here and recommend people to check it out!

I had the burger, fries and a glass of wine. Everything was delicious. I think too many restaurants try and put too much on their burgers. The taste is confusing. This burger is really simple. Fresh ground meat, veggies, cheese and a really good bun. The meat was delicious and the bun was perfect. Nothing worse than a dry bun. The service is also exceptional. I ate at the bar and the 2 ladies working the bar were excellent. Next time I'm in town, I'll definitely be eating here again.
James A — Google review
The staff were nice and we had Travis who was a barstaff tending to us, and recommended a wonderful cocktail. The beef tartare was the best I've had. The pork loin was thick and its fat tasted like delicious crispy pork skin. Service was good as the staff was very friendly and timely. The decor was interesting and provided a different ambiance. Would come here for special occasions.

Great food. Feels like being at an upscale Toronto resteraunt. ***Update*** 6 years later, I'm back. Wow, it's exactly as I remembered it last time I was here. The main was so good and accurately portioned that I figuratively cleaned the plate. I have not enjoyed onions as much as this. The desert was a bit too rich for my taste. That, and the just right portion of the mains. The Old Fashioned has a bit of a delightful twist to it. Will repeat

Fantastic dinner out. Food and service were exceptional!!! We love their sister restaurant, Avenue in Regina and made weekend trip to try all three in Saskatoon! Highly highly recommend for a nice evening out! Can’t say enough about it! Awesome atmosphere, great staff, cocktails and food are second to none. We will be back!!!

Had the chef’s family style tasting four course meal. Started with pickerel wings, housemade charcuterie and pickles, goat cheese croquette with spicy quince and basil aioli. I also order the pike tempura. Presentation of all plates was carefully done. Next was risotto bianco with balsamic roast onion, chopped almond, and smoked feta. This was by far my favorite of all dishes. Next was pork loin on braised red cabbage with winter apple, walnuts, and sage. And lastly for dessert I had cream carmel with whisky soaked prunes on top. The restaurant was clean, fresh cutlery for each course. Server was attentive and friendly. My only con for this restaurant was the noise level. It was quite loud but the noise was all from people talking. The place was very busy. As I was leaving and walking down the street I looked into the window of a neighboring restaurant which was near empty. This tells me Ayden’s is doing very well to attract customers for a unique culinary experience. Cost was a lot but for a special occasion I recommend. Cost:$$$$

Restaurant
Bon Temps Cafe is a casual Cajun-Creole eatery in Saskatoon that offers classic dishes in a warm and lively New Orleans-style setting. The restaurant specializes in authentic Cajun cuisine and greets customers with music filtering into the street. The interior features beautiful wrought iron, custom millwork, and comfortable lighting, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
Made my day! Warm atmosphere, excellent service, great wine selection and absolutely delicious food! I recommend the pork chop. Edit: most amazing thing happened - other customers sent me a surprise dessert when they left. So kind! BTW it was the mud pie and even though I was already full and taking home a doggy bag, I made a serious dent! Delicious!

Saskatoon’s Slice of the South – A Must-Try! Bon Temps Café instantly transports you to the heart of Louisiana with its vibrant atmosphere, authentic Cajun-Creole cuisine, and welcoming Southern charm. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was warm, lively, and true to its New Orleans roots. We ordered the seafood creole ~ a rich and flavorful dish served over rice with perfectly seasoned fried chicken, buttery corn, and a soft, house-made biscuit. It was comfort food at its finest (customizable). The oysters Bienville were absolutely divine—cheesy, garlicky, and beautifully baked. Hands down one of the best oyster preparations I’ve had in Canada. We paired our meal with some Southern-inspired cocktails that were refreshing and fun. They have open mic every Thursday 8-10pm. Whether you’re a local or visiting Saskatoon, Bon Temps Café is a culinary gem that brings the soul of the South to the prairies. Amazing food, great drinks, and an unforgettable vibe!

Came in for a friend’s birthday last week and left quite disappointed with our experience. Overall, I wouldn’t come back for more than a cocktail. Our server seemed annoyed to take care of us, and barely checked on us despite not seeming to be overly busy. I work in the service industry myself and can generally tell if a server is busy, overwhelmed, or making a genuine effort but this didn’t seem to be the case. The ambiance and cocktails were lovely, unfortunately, the food and service were mediocre at best.
Kate Y — Google review
Another excellent experience at Bon Temps! Ordered a variety or appetizers including the seafood beignets (my favourite appetizer), pimento cheese dip with fresh baguette, shrimp bruschetta, hush puppies, crab cakes and the Bang Bang shrimp! Entre was a BBQ brisket Po Boy with side of mac and cheese! All the food was so fresh and delicious as well as having a nice kick to it! For dessert, beignets and bread pudding which were both delicious! Although the beignets were top notch, I have to give it to the bread pudding... the sauce on top of it was so tasty and worked great with the consistency of the bread pudding! What I love about this place is how unique the ambience and decor is as well as the Cajun creole style of food! Service was friendly and efficient! This wasn't my first time here and it won't be my last time here either!

Very good place to hang out with friend. Food is tasty, nice presentation. The rib in the appetizer is a little bit too dry, but the corn ball is very yummy, I love it! It is good to try some difference cuisine sometimes.

Was a very fun and new experience, cajun cooking and seafood are always nice to try. Very relaxed atmosphere, service was great and with a smile. New cook was stated to us, we were happy to give them a chance, majority of people had the seafood boil, next time we shall try it. Definitely recommend this place for date night. The downtown saskatoon is sometimes a sad reality and can be sketchy at times,

Rook and Raven in Saskatooon for the win! What a fantastic dinner. Two of us and we ordered: Beef Short Ribs: Wow. Beef was tender and flavourful. Veg was broccoli (crisp and tasty), carrots (soft and tender), mashed potatoes (smooth). Gravy was just right. Mushroom Soup: I can say it's the best mushroom soup I've tasted in a restaurant. Creamy and chunky with just the right amount of mushrooms and veg. Wine was smooth, and beer was cold. Service was friendly and attentive. Music was perfect. Check this place out. It's 100% worth it.

I had the absolute pleasure of being served by one of the standout team members at The Rook & Raven in Saskatoon—a taller women named Jess whose presence alone brings a warm, welcoming energy to the entire room. From the moment we sat down, they struck the perfect balance between professional and personable. Friendly without being overbearing, attentive without hovering—genuinely one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in the city. What really stood out was how effortlessly they anticipated what we needed before we even asked. Drinks topped up, excellent menu recommendations, and a sharp sense of timing that made everything flow seamlessly. They clearly take pride in both their work and the guest experience, which speaks volumes about the culture at The Rook & Raven. If you have the chance to be served by them—consider yourself lucky. Their service elevated our night from just a casual meal to something memorable. Can’t wait to come back.

Amazing place. Went there on suggestion of my friend. Nice cozy place with great bar. They have amazing selection of alcohol and limited but amazing food menu. We ordered so many things and they were all amazing. The service was really good and Victoria was really nice. I had an amazing experience overall. Worth trying !! One thing - Chicken wings could be better. They were too small in size could have better pieces of chicken in it. Mushroom Bruschetta, Chicken Supreme, Fish & Chips and Smoked Wings is what we ordered with house lager ..

Okay, Saskatoon! We stopped into this pub because it was downtown (near our hotel). And we were so surprised but how lovely everything it was. The atmosphere is a great vibe, there are plenty of tables & chairs (from bar seating to booths), music wasn't too loud, and the servers were great. The menu is pretty stacked, and the portions are large (so bring an appetite!). There is some street parking in the area, but of course, it's downtown, so you may have to walk a little bit depending on the spots you can find. The pub itself is disability/wheelchair friendly - there is a small portion of tables/chairs up some stairs in the back, but you can stay on the main floor with access to the bathrooms, etc. We will definitely come back next time we are in town. I highly recommend trying one of their signature drinks (from their large bar menu), the pretzel appetizer, and the bacon mac & cheese main dish.

**Review:** We stopped by this quiet English pub on a Monday night. The food was delicious, though served cold after a 15-minute wait for cutlery. Service was consistently poor: we had to repeatedly flag down the waitress for drinks, three beers (including Guinness—ironic given the pub’s heavy branding) were out of stock, and empty glasses lingered. Worse, she rushed us to pay while a guest was still finishing their drink. Disappointing for a pub that wasn’t even busy.

Pros: the fried garlic bread appetizer and drink selection were excellent. The chicken in the Nashville chicken sandwich was cooked perfectly. The fries are pretty good was well. Cons: the Nashville chicken sandwich was so bland I didn't want to finish it. The breading had a smoky flavor but no heat and was in desperate need of salt and the coleslaw was also very bland.

We had 2 burgers and guacamole and chips. The guac and chips was terrible, the chips were over-fried and oily and the guac lacked seasoning. The burgers were unbelievable. There is no love for the ingredients in this place, the fries were freezer section quality, the tomatoes were flavourless, the buns were a mess and the saskatoon berry ketchup was a joke. I recommend sticking to the drinks if you stop here. Or drink enough first that you might not taste the food.

Had the bison burger with fries and coleslaw. It was ok, but the bison flavour was hidden by too much bbq sauce. Easy on the bbq sauce and it might be easier to give a better rating.

It's located in the heart of Saskatoon and we had a good first experience. The place has good decor and vibe (can be loud sometimes). Our server was busy and did not forget about us. We were going to just have some snacks. Butter chicken was quite good 😊! We will be back.

We just stopped in 50 minutes before closing. Staff was very accommodating for a late visit. Waitress was very attentive and great with keeping up with information of last call for kitchen and drinks; And although very noticeable notice posted on front door of an early close and our close-to-close visit, staff was very inviting, chipper and informative. Prices are very decent. 💯% recommended to anyone who has the opportunity and pleasure of visiting this establishment!!!!

Nestled just a stone's throw from Thirteen Pies, Shelter Brewing Company is a delightful nano-brewery and taproom that embodies the spirit of craft beer. With an emphasis on quality, they brew an impressive selection of small-batch beers using both local and global ingredients. The talented brewing team crafts everything from crisp lagers to bold IPAs and decadent stouts, ensuring there's something for every palate.
Super tasty, our whole group loved our meal. Tasty, fresh, amazing service. Gluten free and vegan options and the meat was allegedly awesome too We saw a couple go on a first date here that was so cute and chickened out sending them a picture so if they want it posting here hehe

After a weird search for solid food in Saskatoon during our visit - we found shelter! Burritos were amazing! Beer was solid! The staff were kind and you can tell they genuinely loved being there helping us out.
David F — Google review
The Shelter Brewing Company offers a fantastic selection of beers that caters to every palate. However, the true highlight of this establishment is the food. I was pleasantly surprised to find such authentic Mexican cuisine, especially since the menu was developed and prepared by two Canadians, Dylan and Cam. If you enjoy Mexican food, you must try the dishes created by Dylan and Cam. Additionally, if you're looking for authentic spicy salsa, this is the place for you. I had a wonderful afternoon filled with great food and beer!

Very welcoming atmosphere! I asked one of the waitresses (she was great but didn’t get her name) why it’s called Shelter and she said so that people can COME AS THEY ARE, no judgement. It’s great if they truly believe and live like that! Their own craft was great and food hit the spot too! I had Al Pastor and my friend had a burrito, delicious 😋 Had really good conversations with waiters and waitresses, great team out there! 🤘 We kept chatting with Mackenzie that machine for paying kept timing out on us (need to change settings or get a new one) 😆 Awesome place, you will see me again!

This place made me cry… from how insanely good their burritos and hot sauce are! And I mean really hot—and absolutely delicious. I’m not exaggerating when I say I’m dying to go back. Sadly, my husband and I live in Winnipeg, but I genuinely hope they open a food truck or anything here soon. If you’re ever in the area, don’t miss it—great beer and even better food. I’m Mexican, and their hot sauce actually brought tears to my eyes (in the best way). I still can’t wrap my head around how a couple of Canadian guys are making Mexican food this legit.

We were recommended this place for their food. I had the carnitas tacos which were good, I liked the flavor and appreciated that it doesnt come with avocado or a lot of heavy sauces (i just dont like avacado). My sister had the nachos, which she also enjoyed and had enough left to bring back to the hotel and eat later that night. To drink, i had a root beer, but my sister had the NE IPA and thought it was delicious. The enviroment is a lot of fun with modern decor and a spacious layout. The staff was friendly and patient with how long I took to order; I hadn't had the foresight to look at the menu before going. They have a QR link to the menu on each table, but also small printed menus at the bar just in case.
Mary B — Google review
They have great selection of small batch IPA’s that I really can’t get enough of. You’ll going to love the ambience of their space, it’s like hanging out to your hippie friend’s place and just want to get hammered all night. Don’t forget about Dylan n Cam’s tacos and chipsss! Great value for money and almost taste authentic. I keep on coming back here every Friday to end my week and get myself a growler fill or stay at their cozy place and grab a drink or two. Really glad Sask brewing game is getting better👌

Parlor is a hidden gem in downtown Saskatoon, located on the second floor of the St. Tropez Bistro building. It's known as the city's only speakeasy and offers an extensive cocktail menu that has quickly made it a staple for cocktail enthusiasts. The cozy, candle-lit loft exudes a speakeasy vibe and provides a unique experience for visitors.
Cute space - looks like it would be good for a group but it was perfect for our date night. Staff are cool and helpful for choosing a drink. Lots of variety and interesting concoctions.
Stacylee P — Google review
The menu has the option to let the bartender mix a cocktail based on your general taste preferences so I ordered it. The waitress dropped it off wordlessly and when I was finally able to ask what she served me she didn’t know. She asked the bartender and he couldn’t remember even though we were the only ones there and it was the only drink we ordered. Overall it was a less than glamorous experience. The food was nothing to write home about either.

The place is very unwelcoming and while the drinks are just okay, they are ridiculously over priced. Cool concept just not executed very well

Located just west of downtown Saskatoon, POP Wine Bar is a must-visit spot for those looking to enjoy delectable small plates paired with natural wines or quality cocktails. The menu offers a range of options from comforting poutine and Pizza Pop to more upscale choices like elk tartare and crispy rabbit schnitzel. Don't miss their happy hour featuring oysters. The bar's ambiance is inviting, the service is prompt, and the staff are friendly.
Trendy, but comfortable atmosphere. Extensive wine and drink menu. We tried the oysters and burrata (with mint and peas) for starters. Oysters were fresh, paired with a scallion and a horseradish sauce. The burrata dish was also very fresh tasting. My partner had the schnitzel, which they loved, and I had the chicken sandwich, which was excellent. I also really enjoyed the pineapple punch. Great service. Will be back.

Pop is my absolute favourite go-to any time I want a fancy dinner in Saskatoon. I love the vibe, I love that the decor sort of feels like I’m at a grandpa’s house with the mounted fish and 80s exposed stone, the modelling reruns on TV are such a fun touch, and the mirrors make it feel way bigger than it is. I always come for the oysters and wine flights, and stay for the interesting and ever changing mains. I still dream about their nettle gnocchi. This time I came for my birthday, tried the parsnip ravioli with Gorgonzola and apples (oml), and my basque cheesecake (so good) came out with a sparkler. They made up an orange wine flight for me because their usual wine flight was sold out and it was incredible. The servers are always so lovely, the music is always good, 10/10, no notes.
Bre H — Google review
The place doesn't really have a theme and looks like a bunch of random stuff on walls. Feels uninviting and for some reason the vibe felt not very comfortable and felt like I was somewhere I didn't belong. Music was way to loud and the seats and tables are cramped and too small. Oh and we waited half an hour for our oysters, but they did give us half off because of that which we appreciate. Food was good, but again the atmosphere made us leave after appetizers. Probably wouldn't come again
Oishik K — Google review
Sam provided excellent service, the chef prepared the food to perfection, and the freshness and taste of the food was one of the best Saskatoon has to offer! We will be back!

Very nice atmosphere and they play great music. Try their Caesar! I absolutely loved it. Their oysters are amazing and by the way, the Caesar comes with one. Excellent friendly service as well.

Great place for cocktails and a great lineup up of wine. We stopped in for happy hour and had a dozen oysters. I had a glass of the Suriol Cava, which is fantastic. We went back that night for cocktails, and I had the strawberry daiquiri. We also enjoyed watching the 90's shows on the TV.
Trena K — Google review
I didn't choose this place as a destination for dinner, but my boss chose it because it was close to the Roxy Theatre. While I had the best dark and stormy I've ever had there, that was the only bright spot (and came at a high price). I mean, I guessed what it would be like, based on the name, so I ate in advance, which turned out to be a wise decision. The poutine was tiny and bland, and the only thing I would have eaten for a meal was no longer served (the chicken). If you're looking at their menu and think, "Caviar and wine doesn't sound like my thing," don't bother. When I told my girlfriend where we were going, she looked at the menu and laughed so hard she cried when she saw a $30+ appetizer and a $13 pizza pop. The waiter practically oozed disappointment at our table, with only one wine drinker present, and none of us liking the look of the food choices.
Ryan T — Google review
First time here and we loved everything about this wonderful place. The food was delicious - we were ravenous and ate our mains before I could take a photo! Cheese board was perfect. Charcuterie board was amazing with everything bar the Spanish chorizo made in-house. Chicken liver pâté with crusty bread was sublimely delicious. Thank you Chef Sebastian! Meghan took care of our every need at the table. There is a great selection of wine and cocktails, and a variety of food options. Highly recommended. Thank you so much. We'll definitely return next time we're in Saskatoon. We love you too POP!

Cactus Club Cafe Saskatoon is a vibrant and trendy restaurant located on Broadway Avenue. The multi-level outdoor area is adorned with string lights, creating a lively atmosphere accompanied by upbeat music. The menu offers globally-inspired small plates and shareable dishes, complemented by specialty cocktails, beers, and wines. This contemporary spot prides itself on combining global cuisine with fresh local ingredients and is known for its warm and unpretentious service.
Cactus Club Cafe is the go-to spot for me and my best friends—we always find ourselves coming back. It’s our favorite place to eat, with an amazing variety of food options. This place is always busy, which makes parking a challenge—I hope they can work on that. The Little Pearl drink sometimes tastes sweet and other times more savory; I’d love to see a balanced mix of both. Other than that, I absolutely love this place!

Cactus Club Cafe is one of my go-to spots for a reason. The location is excellent — super convenient and easy to access. The ambiance is modern, lively, and welcoming, making it a perfect choice whether you're grabbing drinks with friends or enjoying a casual dinner. It’s always busy here, which I actually take as a good sign — it shows how popular and well-loved the place is. Despite the crowds, the service is consistently top-notch. The staff are friendly, attentive, and do an impressive job handling orders quickly and efficiently. Props to them! The food is excellent. The happy hour menu is a standout, offering great value without compromising quality. The fries are addictively good, and the crispy tofu bowl was both filling and flavorful — definitely a pleasant surprise. Highly recommend!

I was in town on business and the menu for this place really piqued my interest. Got seated right away at the bar and ordered the brioche and panko chicken with mushroom gnocchi. Started with the Soul Revival drink and got to chatting with Ben the bartender. He was very accepting when I asked him if he forgot a garnish for the drink (he forgot the mint sprig) but it was just good teasing. He added it and mentioned it was his second day. He reassured me that the food choices I made were some of his favorites and it seemed genuine. Not the typical pandering that you feel from some other restaurants with this vibe. The bread was delicious and a perfect pairing with the gnocchi, as I could soak up the delicious mushroom sauce with each buttery bun. The drink paired beautifully with it as well, since the acid and heat from the ginger and jalapeno was a nice compliment to the richness of the food. I had been fasting for my diet, so this was my one meal for the day, so in order to make it count I ordered 4 desserts and will give some insight into each. The key lime pie was perfectly done. The curd was well set without relying on excess thickeners that make it springy. Just smooth, well balanced, sweet and tangy. My only gripes with it would be the lavish whipped cream topping that seemed to dwarf the portion of pie underneath (a quenelle would suit it much better), and the plate size felt too large for it. The earl grey creme brulee was one I was most interested in, but unfortunately was the weakest of the desserts. Considering how oversteeped tea can have bitter notes from the tannins, pairing it with a 'burnt sugar' topping almost invited those off flavors willingly, as the custard itself wasn't itself bitter. The sugar top element detracted from the overall flavor balance, but I get it. You need a gluten free option and flourless chocolate cakes are boring. A tasty dessert overall, but could be much more. Take the blueberry garnish, make a coulis from it and turn the earl grey custard into a zabaglione, and I feel that would make for a superior dish. The peanut butter bar placed second last of the four I tried. Technically sound, pretty to look at and certainly tasty (especially when you had a little bit of everything on the spoon), recalling memories of the first time I had eaten Reese Puffs or Butterfinger. But the caramel sauce felt like an afterthought. A more generous garnish of peanuts and chocolate pearls on top of the bar with the caramel subbed out for some masserated strawberries would still hold that childlike wonder but offer some much needed brightness to an overall heavy dish. Lastly, the towering chocolate cake. Was it a well done and dense chocolate cake? Yes. Was it at first glance a mirror of the many "death by chocolate" tropes that plague the menus of chain restaurants? Also yes. But this has something going for it. The crumble, cherries and ice cream elevated this dish immensely. A bite of cake with a little of everything on the spoon made for a seriously delicious bite. The issue arises when your cake is 3x larger than the garnish. Glacee cherries was an interesting choice, although not the neon bright ones your grandmother used. But I was surprised that they weren't proper maraschino cherries from luxardo, as it seemed those were being used in a gentleman's Old Fashioned that the bar had prepared for another table. Flavor wise, this dish is excellent. But I'd love to see the cake have half as many layers, real maraschino cherries and ditch the ice cream zigzag of sauce and instead rest the cake in a small pool of the sauce. Either that, or stick to the chocolate lava cake that's also on the menu. I'll hold this experience in high regard, and will certainly dine here again when I find myself in Saskatoon.

We had a great experience on the dining lounge patio. Server was fantastic and charismatic. Had a large table come in off the golf course and the staff relocated them to a more appropriate location as they were damaging the aura. Free cake for the troubles; missed the Chamomile tea. Definitely some of the best food in town.

I got the Chipotle Chicken Tacos and Yam fries for take out. They were very tasty but next time, I would choose to dine in so the food is served hot. I had trouble with online ordering so I went in and my food was prepared quickly. Also, this was my first time going to the Cactus Club, I was preparing to pay parking since it was downtown but they have parking, you just have to give the hostess your license plate number.

No complaints - just funcky place with very tasty dishes. Staff are nice, and so are the ambiance! Oddly, they don't have decaffeinated coffee, which is unfortunate.

I’ve been wanting to try poached for a long time but usually it’s so busy with a long wait and I’m too hungry to bother. This past weekend though we managed to get in when there wasn’t too many people at the time. The decor and ambiance here is great. It’s cute, well decorated and very hipster. Good vibes. Small location. Parking is street parking. The menu is… small. It must change regularly because I had been craving French toast or something sweeter, but all they had available was a cinnamon bun breakfast which I figured was TOO sweet. Otherwise it was all savoury. I started with the black cherry latte. It was incredible- it tasted like black Forrest cake which is my fav. Then, I picked eggs Benny. However I realized that the menu only specified the one item. It has Gruyère and some dill. Looked great In photos. On speaking to the server I was informed there is no sides. So be wary of this. I had to ask for a side of potatoes and I asked for a side of their maple bacon roll up’s. Don’t get me wrong. The food was incredible. Each item was tasty and delicious. However the ratio of food to price was questionable. I’m not a cheap person, but when I go out for tasty food I’d like to have more than just a sample portion. I also was a bit disappointed that I didn’t get the ketchup I’d asked for. The meal was good, just pricey for what you got since you need to add so much to it. I probably won’t return unless it’s a special occasion someone else is dead set on. Maybe I’m not that fancy of a person after all.

My husband picked this establishment randomly on Google Maps while we were in town. We were both very happy with our experience. Not only was the food amazing, but the atmosphere was beautiful as well. The Roasted Asparagus and Baby Potato Omelette was the breakfast I didn't know I needed in my life, and my husband just kept saying "this is so good" about his Stacker Meal. Definitely out new favourite spot in Saskatoon.

I love this spot for breakfast. It's an adorable and quaint restaurant with professional and friendly service. Pictured here are the breakfast plate with chicken & spinach sausage, poached eggs, potatoe croquettes (perfectly cooked) and the herb hollandaise sauce; the French toast with cinnamon apples layered and a side of back bacon; and a cinnamon latte. Delicious and perfectly portioned.

The staff was very friendly and the woman on shift was working very hard. Impressively so I might add. She really made an effort to help me with my order. Unfortunately they were unable to accommodate my allergies. I ordered a sandwich. I’m not sure if it was cross contamination or if there was some pesto unintentionally added to the mayo (I’ll never really be sure) but after one tiny test bite I became itchy from head to toe. Hot flashes are hard to ignore. Unfortunately with anaphylaxis, restaurant food is a game of Russian roulette. If I had gone for it and taken a big bite I would probably not have been able to write this review. A good reminder to bring my EpiPen to breakfast. I’m sure the food is good here, the vibe is great for sure. The bar looks great. The server was relatively understanding of my situation. I don’t think there was full comprehension of how serious this situation could have been. (Which at no reflection of this restaurant, is a very common scenario for me. I travel for work so to my chagrin, this happens at least once a week. I have also worked in both front and back of house in multiple restaurants in the past. It happens. It’s totally my liability when I send a modified ticket to the kitchen.) I would suggest caution if you have severe allergies at all restaurants. This sort of thing happens even with diligence. All that to say I am unable to review the food. 5 stars otherwise.

Poached is probably the cutest, coziest restaurant in Saskatoon. This super narrow restaurant does fabulous breakfast food. We spent a good (almost) three hours at the restaurant, eating and drinking and catching up. It was such a warm environment, we didn’t want to leave! The fresh pressed orange juice (read Mimosa) is so good. We also did lattes and then finally breakfast. The crab cakes were good. And my friend liked her eggless omelette. But my FAVOURITE item in the menu has to be the potato croquettes. This place is great for an intimate meal. Or maybe you could score the booth and have a few more people! FYI: The restaurant isn’t wheelchair friendly, as the bathroom is downstairs.

Nestled in the vibrant Broadway District of Saskatoon, Amigos Cantina is a lively tavern that has been delighting locals since 1988. This bustling venue not only serves up mouthwatering Mexican favorites like Chicken Soft Tacos and beef tacos with chili sauce but also offers classic pub grub to satisfy any craving. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, making it an ideal spot for families until 8 PM, with flexible seating arrangements perfect for gatherings.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amigos Cantina – A True Saskatoon Staple! This place blends amazing Tex-Mex food with unbeatable live music vibes. The nachos are loaded, enchiladas are packed with flavor, and portions are generous for the price. Whether you’re here for trivia night, dinner with friends, or a live band, the atmosphere is always buzzing and welcoming. It’s one of Canada’s most legendary small music venues for a reason—great sound, chill crowd, and a cozy setup that keeps you coming back. Perfect for a casual dinner or a full-on night out. Don’t miss it if you’re in Saskatoon!

We had a fantastic experience at AMIGOS in Saskatoon! It's a great restaurant with amazing service and very good food. We went there as a family on a Friday night and chose to sit on the patio to soak in the summer vibes. Even though the place was packed, the food came out surprisingly fast—and the high volume didn’t affect the quality of the service or the meal at all. The staff was attentive and friendly, and everything we ordered was delicious. AMIGOS delivered on all fronts. Great atmosphere, great service, and great food. Highly recommend it, especially if you're looking for a fun and relaxing evening out in Saskatoon.

Popular restaurant/entertainment venue serving pretty good Tex-Mex food. We recently stopped in for dinner at a tail end of what looked like a busy evening. We had a good meal and the service was very good. We had the regular nacho platter, the single chimichanga, carne asada, lila mole fajita and pibili pork taco. The portion sizes were all pretty large. The food was generally very good but in our opinion the rice in the dishes was slightly undercooked. If not for this we would have given Amigos a 5 star rating.

Easily one of the best restaurants in the city! The menu is huge, there are so many options. Even if you don't want Mexican food, there's pasta, burgers, salad, etc. The portions are huge. I can't say I've ever had a bad meal here. I literally crave the jalapeno cream sauce. The service is good. Even when it's packed or there's a band playing, the service is still quick and friendly. O'Shea's Irish Pub is a delightful spot that captures the essence of an authentic Irish pub experience. With its charming wood-paneled walls and cozy booths, it offers a warm atmosphere perfect for enjoying hearty dishes like burgers, poutine, and shepherd’s pie. The extensive selection of draft brews, including Irish beers and whiskeys, complements the menu beautifully.
Great classic pub! I had a Guinness & fried pickles. Reminded me of pubs in Europe, perfect pour as well. Nice neighborhood place & quite quiet, easy to hold a meaningful conversation.

Decent fish and chips with a lot of fries. $6 for 16oz Keith's was their beer special. Still about $2 too much for such a small beer. Should be 20oz pint for $5. 80s pop music detracted from the Irish vibe.

I visited this place on Thanksgiving, hoping to have a nice dinner with my wife, but the experience was a bit disappointing. I ordered three whiskey shots, an 8oz glass of wine, and a small roast beef sandwich with salad. The food looked fine, but the portion was small, and it was served in plastic containers, which felt quite basic for the price. The total came to around $55, and honestly, it didn’t feel worth it. The service was okay, but overall, it wasn’t the kind of experience that would make me want to come back.
Behzad M — Google review
On Saturday, August 23rd, my boyfriend and I went to O’Shea‘s, and sat on the rooftop around 4pm. We frequent O’Shea‘s quite often, especially in the summertime. We sat ourselves down as it was not very busy and only people at 8 tables. Most of the patrons had food and drink already served to them. There were four girls working on the rooftop. They asked two tables how they were doing with their drinks and food and walked right by us. We sat there for over 10 minutes which is totally unacceptable especially since it was so slow there and they had enough servers for the small amount of customers there. We decided to leave and came downstairs. There was a woman and man behind the bar, one of whom I believe was a manager or assistant manager. We let them know what happened. All they said was I’m sorry I’m sorry and this has never happened before. They could’ve offered us a drink downstairs, but did not. My daughter works in the service industry and sometimes she’ll serve over 20 tables just herself. This is the worst service I ever received in any restaurant and bar in Saskatoon! I gave one star for everything because I’m not sure if the review would accept 0 stars! We never even had a chance to order food or drinks because no one took our order!

Classic pub, quite spacious, but not the best. The waitress would disappear for sections of time, but she did come back to check on us at least once and knew her beers. The fish and chips were more bread than fish even though it had an okay flavor. The fries were good. Also, the benches had quite a bit of duct tape on them holding them together.

Came here not too long ago with my boyfriend. Patio was very nice and the atmosphere was awesome. Drinks were absolutely delicious as was the food. Service was also really great and the server was very accommodating as I made quite a few mods on my burger. Overall really great will definitely be back!

I had a chill Sunday afternoon while my wife shopped. There were some dri k specials and they support a local women's sports team which I thought was pretty cool. I didn't eat any food but didn't want to bring down the rating because I didn't eat. Staff was friendly.

Me and a few of my friends went to Osheas on a Friday night around 11:30, regular hours on a weekend. We took a spot on the rooftop lounge. We sat for anywhere between 20-30 minutes being respectful as it was a busy night, visited with a few friends in the meantime. Osheas has been a frequent spot for my personal friend group. Without too much to vent, I raised my hand until I caught the attention of a waitress . Not waiving around or being obnoxious. Eventually the waitress came over and told me I was disrespectful and rude and was asked to leave for raising my hand, and then went to the upstairs bar and presumably told the bartenders not to serve my table. There was no point between the time we sat down to when a waiter/waitress visited our table within the ~20-30 minutes we sat down to the point we were asked to leave, and at no point did any of my friends or I think that we were disrespectful, just attempting to catch the attention of a waiter/waitress to be served. Less than ideal, wouldn’t go there during busy hours.

The warm ambiance features modern decor with high tables and an intimate private event room, making it ideal for casual outings or special gatherings.
Great visit! Had the chance to come here for dinner recently and it was fantastic. I opted for the chips & salsa trio to start and the chorizo and octopus as well as a couple of the cocktails like the Betty White and El Diablo and I must say it’s one of the good ones! All of which tasted delicious! Will definitely be back here!

Welcoming, upscale, intimate setting. Great artisan tacos. Reasonable prices. You can sit at the bar and watch them being made. Flexible and accommodating on food preferences. We loved our evening here.

Great spot for some tasty Mexican fare. Tacos were great - especially the chicken with pineapple salsa and jalapeños, washed down with the "Bruce Banner" cucumber, basil, & lime margarita then finished with the caramel flan... the churros were so good, too - great food, great service - thank you, Zoey! When we are back in town, we will be stopping to visit again (and will keep an eye out for other locations, too)!

Really great Latin/Mexican restaurant! Very friendly service, good cocktails, good Latin/south American wine selection and a decent selection of bottled beers. Food was very good, we did get the "tomahawk steak" platter and found it to be plenty of food, it doesn't serve well as a taco meal. It was more of a plated meal to share. Was very impressed with this restaurant

Our first time at Picaro. Very impressed. Really good food. Can't wait to come back and try the rest of the tacos. Make a reservation, as it's a small dining room. Also the hot sauce for the tacos is wicked good and 🔥🔥. If they bottle that sh*t, I'm stocking up. I Highly recommend the creamsicle drink, but the hot batagna not so much. But definitely finish off with the churros because omg.

Awesome food, friendly staff, a beautiful interior, Picaro is a welcome addition to Saskatoons dining scene. Picaro has a really nice variety of fun tasty Latin dishes. You can tell great care has been put into all the little things, and everything is made from scratch. The tortillas for the tacos were the perfect texture, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. The shishito peppers were a really tasty starter. Don't leave without trying dessert too, churros are the bomb and the chocolate tacos are just plain fun! Go there, eat everything, have a drink and enjoy one of Saskatoons very best restaurants!

Guac and chips were great, just needed slightly more salt. Chupacabra was smoky and sweet with a bit of spice. Special tacos were crispy chicken - lightly breaded and fried, delicious! Friendly servers, would definitely go back
Mitch D — Google review
Did the Wednesday Date Night Dinner and our server was the sweetest! She is very friendly, genuine and answered all of our questions. All of our drinks were beautifully made and well balanced. We were a party of four and did (1) Date Night Dinner which included: salsa trio and chips, green papaya salad, and we chose (2) orders of the Rogue tacos (chef rotating creation) and an order of churros. We also ordered (2) orders of chicken skin chicarrones, (3) fish tacos, (3) pork tacos and (3) shrimp. So the pico de gallo was delicious, but the other two salsas was not our favourite. The Roasted Shishito salsa was really bitter. And the Spicy Peanut one was a nice slow heat, but nothing memorable. The chips were hit and miss with the salt level. And the green papaya salad was…. bland. Of course everyone has their own taste, but when I see a “green papaya salad” on the menu I think of the Thai style, full of chili, salt, sugar and funky fish sauce. The star of the show and what I completely recommend is the chicken skin chicarrones. It came with a honey and Aleppo dip ( I wish that was the dressing on the papaya salad) and were so crispy. We ended up dipping those into the salsa trio too. Churros were hot and fresh and one order comes with (4) churros. The dulce de leche sauce was served warm. I would go to Picaro for the great service, chicharrones and the drinks. Don’t know if I would go back for the tacos or anything else…. Unless they revamp the menu.

We won tickets to lobster fest (normally $50 each). First of all there was sign saying you could get their smallest sized beer for this price with the lobster meal, but it was just regular price? Seems like the intention is to trick someone into thinking it's a deal.. Anyway the Caesar salad was decent-good and I am picky when it comes to Caesar salad, but I'm not too picky of an eater otherwise. The lobster, macaroni, and garlic bread arrived. Garlic bread was good. Now I understand they want to prepare the food a head of time with lobster fest having many people booking in for a set time period. My macaroni and cheese purely tasted like I made some mediocre Mac and cheese at home, put it in the fridge for a few days and then reheated it in the microwave. My girlfriends Mac and cheese at least had a crust on the top and tasted better like it was put in the oven, yet still of course it tasted pre-made and reheated. The lobster itself was cold the instant it arrived. There was butter put inside the tail and it wasn't even melted, because clearly it was too cool. We had a dish of butter that was cold as well. We asked the server if it was supposed to be warm and they went and got us a single new one. We didn't necessarily need two but interesting assumption when we had one cold one on each plate. The new butter dish was just barely warm. It was a pretty abysmal experience for what should have been $50, we questioned even having it for free through the contest and definitely left some of our food because we did not want it. Definitely cannot recommend the lobster meal with that experience. Otherwise, it's a sports bar if you are into that kind of thing. I've been to two other brewhouse locations and have had okay experiences with barely decent overpriced food and misleading beer pricing/sizing and I really don't see myself recommending or ever going back. I'm shocked at how busy these places are.

$24.99+ tax and tip for this ravioli... about 150-180g worth. (No sides come with it either) Same size as the free refill bowls at olive garden... Besides the food, they changed a TV for us to watch a hockey game but then changed it mid game and took awhile to get it back on... after that they changed it with 1 minute left in the 3rd... Okay place to go for a drink, but won't be interested to try anything else off the menu. Staff is friendly.

We both had the stir fry. It looked delicious! And prob'ly would have been if the veggies hadn't been raw. I like my veggies still slightly firm when cooked. This wasn't that - not even close! The veggies were hard and crunchy. It made the whole experience so disappointing.

Thirteen Pies Pizza + Bar is a vibrant dining destination that brings the essence of Brooklyn-style pizza to life in a trendy setting adorned with captivating murals and cozy booths. This unique eatery not only serves up an impressive selection of thirteen inventive pizzas, each inspired by classic horror films, but also boasts a cocktail bar that complements its delicious offerings. Picture sinking your teeth into slices like The Pies Have Eyes or Know What You Ate Last Summer, featuring creative toppings that tantalize the taste buds.
Our recent visit to Thirteen Pies in Saskatoon with colleagues turned out to be an absolute delight! From the moment we stepped in, the vibrant and welcoming atmosphere set the tone for a great dining experience. The star of the show was undoubtedly the Killer Cheese Pizza — loaded with flavor, perfectly cheesy, and baked to golden perfection. It was hands-down one of the best cheese pizzas we’ve had in a while! The rest of the spread didn’t disappoint either. The variety of pizzas, chicken wings, Caesar salad, and a generous serving of nachos were all flavorful and satisfying. The nachos, in particular, were visually stunning and packed with colorful toppings that delivered a great mix of spice and crunch. To top it all off, we enjoyed a bold and refreshing drink with a spicy rim that paired perfectly with the food. A special shoutout to our server, who was extremely friendly, attentive, and added a personal touch to the experience. Great service always makes a difference, and this one definitely stood out. All in all, Thirteen Pies is a must-visit if you’re in Saskatoon. Whether you’re going for a casual get-together or a relaxed team outing, the food, drinks, and vibes make it a place worth coming back to.

Amazing pizza! They were delicious. Perfect crust with good chew and nice amount of crisp. The toppings are delicious and great suggested combos. They also give a bunch of options for sizes and split flavors. We tried Medusa and it was delicious. Great beer and drink options. I tried the draft beer and it was good. Also tried a cocktail and it was very tasty. Loved the space. Has a speak easy vibe. Love the older style light fixtures and high ceilings. I would definitely go here again!

What a lovely experience! We came here for a family outing for the holidays and were not disappointed. The place was packed when we arrived but they promptly seated us at a low table as requested. Our server was fast, hospitable, and came to the table exactly when we needed something. The Kale Caesar, the white walker pizza, and the Medusa pizza are must-haves. The atmosphere was also fantastic, I couldn’t decide which piece of decor was my favourite 😁

Stopped by for a beer and pizza. While the beer selection was a bit limited, it was still decent for a pizza spot. The pizza itself was excellent—flavorful and perfectly cooked. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. I’d definitely recommend this place if you’re in the mood for great pizza
Ismael F — Google review
Me and my friend's first visit at this place was the best impulsive idea. We finished it all so quick. I'm not a usual crust eater but I surprisingly finished it because it was that yummy. Second time we came, the pizzas were falling apart and tasted a bit doughy in the middle. The slices were also very inconsistent with many being smaller/larger than the others. Consistency was lacking but overall a great pizza place. They asked for our id when we arrived around 8-9pm even when we said we won't be drinking. Avoid coming here late at night if you're a minor.

Good pizzas. Solid combinations and good ingredients - hard to beat. Cool vibe. Lots of great drinks on tap. Walkable from the Delta.
Chandrew R — Google review
The pizza was awesome. Every option looked good and had an ingredient that was just a bit different than any other pizza place. The key lime pie was delicious! Not to age myself but the lighting was very dim and the atmosphere very loud. Still, we would go back for sure. It was about a 25 minute wait to get in at 6 on a Friday night but their online waitlist system made it convenient.

We did the vine wreath making class on Dec 10, 2024 and it was lovely! It was my first time making a wreath so I was hoping for more step by step instruction, but the staff were still very helpful moving table to table. Large selection of greens and decorations for the wreaths. We were greeted with a complimentary holiday cocktail as well. Overall environment was very cheerful and a great way to get into the holiday spirit! Would love to come back again next year!

Booked a group tour, tasting and visit of Black Fox and our team loved it! It was interesting, the business story was inspiring, the hosts were fantastic (co-owner John even came to chat with us), and the drinks were top notch. I hope we left some bottles of gin and whisky for others to buy :) Would highly recommend for group activities and outings!

I discovered the Gin from the Black Fox Farm and Distillery at the Co Op in Martensville a few months ago. I've tried several flavors and they are all winners!!! This afternoon we visited the farm and tasting room for the first time. From the moment we pulled in the beautifully gated, long driveway right through to our tasting, we were impressed! The place is gorgeous both inside and out. The service was great and the gin and whiskey even better.

We had an awesome experience and Black Fox distillery. Such a beautiful property to come and relax at and sample some gin. The staff was very informative and the atmosphere was so welcoming. The whiskey was also great but the gin stole the show for us. Definitely couldn’t leave without a bottle of Haskap gin and Sage gin! They will be very much enjoyed this summer! 😍

We ordered the flowers for our wedding in September from Black Fox and we loved them! In total, we ordered 3 bouquets, 9 corsages/boutonnieres, two boxes for the ceremony area and then a bucket of loose flowers to fill our centerpieces with. I didn't really know what I wanted so I gave them a general colour scheme to work. There was a slight hiccup or two when my dad went to pick up the flowers but everything was straightened out quickly and worked out fine! We would definitely recommend Black Fox Farm & Distillery. Crazy Cactus is a vibrant spot located right in the heart of downtown, boasting an expansive rooftop patio that offers stunning views, especially towards the river. While some may feel it lost a bit of its original charm after moving from its cozy exhibition neighborhood, the lively atmosphere and friendly staff still make it worth a visit. The drink menu features refreshing options like Twisted Tea and Strongbow Cider for just $7, alongside domestic beers priced at $5.
Amazing roof top patio. Had the 5 drinks bucket for $30, and the happy hour pizza which was delicious and shareable for 2 people. Would definitely come back and recommend it to others.
Ricardo B — Google review
They must have worked hard to get the new Crazy Cactus location ready for their New Year's Eve celebration. Only a couple of weeks earlier, we were paying a last visit to their old location before they closed it down and moved everything downtown to their new 3rd Avenue location. A few days into the new year, we dropped in to check things out. Then, a week or so after that, we dropped in again. I have to say, the downtown location is much more convenient for us than the old location, although I suspect that parking could be more of a problem. The new location has the same atmosphere as the old location, but with a lot more space. Plus, it's newer, so that helps a lot, too. I don't like the boisterous nighttime crowds, but I do like Crazy Cactus for its lunch and supper menu. It's a great place to stop in on a Saturday afternoon. They have an interesting approach to the menu. Every entree is $8, so you just pick what you like and know that no matter what you pick, it'll cost the same. On the back of the menu, everything is $9. There are extras, such as starters and salads. There are also specials on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Simple. I like that. They made a good choice in putting Churchill Brewing Company on tap. I'm happy to say that Crazy Cactus now brews locally roasted beans from Road Coffee Company in Saskatoon. If you happen to be the designated driver, there's usually nothing worse than having to endure bar coffee - it's enough to drive you to drink! Decent coffee means that your friends will be fighting over being the designated driver. Service was really, really slow on our last visit. It felt like we were being deliberately ignored, but maybe there was just some dispute over which server was assigned to our table. It made us feel unwelcome, and it was so opposite to our experience the times we visited for lunch. Once we managed to get the server's attention, we received our drinks promptly and our food arrived quickly after that. We never got any sort of explanation why it took more than 30 minutes to catch someone's attention.

Cool no non-sense bar. Lower level is where anyone can fit in and have a drink. I haven't made it upstairs yet but I'm told it's a younger crowd. Their gringo (beer, tequila, bar lime served over ice in a green plastic cup) is why I go there, and you'll likely see a lot of people drinking them.

Good patio. Loved the view from the top toward the river. The second floor is more of a night club set up. I was quite surprised when they closed the patio with over 20 people still up there. The lack of bathrooms on the patio is a bit of a draw back. The first floor is a bar with seating and table service. The second floor, and it's dance area must only be open on select nights.
Coach R — Google review
I was in this bar before it moved downtown and it was pretty run down. I didn't mind their signature gringo drink but it is not good enough for me to go back. Also their new location is also pretty run down. I would have given it 2 stars for its unsanitary and rundown look but the patio was nice ans was heated so it was enjoyable only in that area.

Let me tell a story, went into Bud's back in the day, on my 19th birthday to get my first legal beer. I had my ID, showed it to the server, back then drivers license didn't have a picture but I had a Metis card that did have a picture. The server decided to be a jerk about it and refuse. So if you create bad memories for people you get a bad review. Consequences decades down the road. Food's pretty good, so don't hesitate to eat here.

Bars Make Their Money on: -Alcohol sales (their biggest profit margin) and food from - Regular and Special events clientele like bands, trivia, karaoke, sports nights which bands so a cover charge So when a bunch of local musicians show up and play for free at a jam, and the bar: -Charges guests $10 to get in -Pays nothing out to the performers -Then pockets both cover fees and drink sales... It doesn’t add up ethically. It would be like a gallery charging people to walk in and see art—while the artists don’t get a dime. SUGGESTION TO BUDS 🎤 What Would Be Fair? Split the cover: even just $5 per musician from the door adds up. And a Free meal or 2 drinks for performers Tips bucket allowed + encouraged for the performer. Each emptying their own. Or Rotating feature spots and a Transparent community support model on a notice on a bulletin board for both bands and guests. (e.g. "This jam supports our local scene—here’s how")

For reference Im in my 30s and I have never been kicked out or refused service in a bar, ever!! I was ordering shots and I gestured with my hand to get the shots. The bartender (a very short bald man) says to me "Oh no, you can't shoo me away like that. Im not your slave!" I didn't understand I figured he was joking with me. So I laughed and asked "what?" Maybe I did rush him a little but it was the hand gesture that set him off. It was a Wednesday night so it was dead. I don't go out middle of the week but I came here to unwind and I will definitely not recommend this bar. I'm not one to complain about low end bars when there is not much to expect but here it goes...the place had like 5 people and the floors were sticky as if it were a busy place that just hosted an event. The stage area where we stood smelt like mold. Im a girl so I notice small things. I like my shoes and I felt they were gonna be gross when I left, having random things stick to them after we leave. As for the mold, I also always notice this because I have horrible lungs and I try stay away from that. I wouldn't have left a bad review because like I said, I dont expect much from older bars but the bartender saying I treated him like a slave was the cherry on top. I asked him to do the thing he's literally being paid for and he said I treated him like a slave.
V — Google review
Bartender wasn’t very kind. Tried asking for shots and I was thinking of what to get..2 seconds into thinking I knew what I was getting he said “okay I’m not serving you, you can leave” I was about to tell him what I was getting until he cut me off and kicked me out. Do not recommend.

Taverna Italian Kitchen + Bar, located at 154 2nd Avenue South in Saskatoon, is a locally-owned restaurant offering a relaxed atmosphere with modern decor. The menu features thin-crust pizzas, pasta dishes like cacio e pepe and spaghetti pomodoro, as well as a variety of mains. Guests can also enjoy delicious antipasti and fresh seafood options such as marinated olives and homemade arancini.
After having a hard deciding between a few Italian places in the area, my group decided to go with Taverna, and let’s just say that there were no regrets! Although we did not have a reservation, we waited for a short period of time before being seated and receiving water and bread. The bread had a firmer texture compared to most restaurant breads but it still great and paired well with the butter. I got the carbonara, which was recommended by the server, and it did not disappoint! The pasta was al dente and the sauce was creamy and rich. The bacon added some texture variance throughout the meal. Definitely one of the top carbonara I have had. Other people in my group got a seafood linguini, spaghetti and meatballs, and a ravioli, and they all raved about their dishes as well. Service was friendly and efficient, the atmosphere was welcoming and warm. Would come again when I’m in town next time!

The food? Meh. Half-decent at best, with all the flavor of salt and garlic. Not exactly what you’d expect from a place which calls itself premium. The sauces didn’t taste in house and you can tell most non meat ingredients are not sourced locally or with care. But the real disaster? The service. Not once were we asked how our meal was. Drinks? Forgotten. Water? Refilled once . And the cherry on top? We waited 20 minutes for the bill while three servers stood around doing Olympic-level nothing. No check-ins. No follow-ups. No effort from any of the service staff. Now for the grand finale: a 20% automatic gratuity slapped on because we had a group of 7. You read that right. They served us like we were invisible and then charged us like we were dining at Gordon Ramsay’s flagship or some restaurant with private service. My $32 pizza magically became a $44 disappointment. The whole point in such a gratuity is usually because the server is taken away from other tables due to a large group size, yet we only saw our server 3 times the entire evening. To take the order for food and drink (half of which never got brought out), to bring us food and fill water, and to deliver a bill. If you enjoy average food, overpriced disappointment, and service that makes you question your will to tip; then congratulations, you’ve found your spot.

I had two days in Edmonton and two in Saskatoon recently and for the latter, Taverna was on the top of my list based on local recommendations. Overall it was a good experience - the restaurant itself is surprisingly spacious and nicely decorated. Not far from the riverfront (5 minutes walk) as well. We had reservations for 7pm and the restaurant was more or less full upon arrival. We had the scallops to start, which were fantastic. The sauce in which they come was just absolutely delicious. Looking back at the menu I am surprised it seems rather basic - olive oil, garlic, butter, parsley, herb breadcrumbs, lemon - there was definitely something going on here I'd like to replicate at home. For entrees we both had the veal parmigiana. While certainly good, it definitely wasn't amazing for me. I'd had a chicken parm in Edmonton two days before that was near godlike and the offering here paled a bit in comparison. There's no breading which may be good or bad. In my case I found it a bit flat as a consequence and combined with the cheese made it a bit oily for my tastes. Nonetheless still very delicious and a satisfying meal. Recommend? For sure. There's lots of options on the menu and the place was packed - clearly for good reason.

I had looked for Reddit recommendations for authentic Italian restaurants that were highly recommended and this was one of the top ones. We did do reservation through OpenTable but they weren’t full when we got there. Looks like sometimes this isn’t the case and reservations are usually recommended. The decor is great. Trendy, clean and modern. Nice lounge vibes. I picked here because it has a HUGE menu to pick from. The serve staff was professional and kind but we didn’t vibe either, it felt like we weren’t of the right crowd shall we say. He was great at his job it just didn’t feel comfortable. The menu being written in Italian with English descriptions felt overwhelming. It does add to the experience. The drink menu is huge, but somehow didn’t have stuff I wanted. My partner liked their white peach lemonade with added vodka. We got arancini balls. They were excellent. A little spicy but they were a great appetizer. We also enjoyed the bread which I believe was focaccia with some garlic butter patty. My meal was a pomodoro tagliatelle with Sicilian meatballs. They are able to sub pasta types which is great. My partner got the cannelloni. He really enjoyed his dish. I on the other hand found it underwhelming. I’m used to authentic. Italian restaurants with great flavour profiles and a solid pasta sauce. I had to ask for salt for mine. The tagliatelle was great though- thick and excellent texture in the mouth. The meatball didn’t strike me as being noticeable either. It reminded me why I don’t frequent Italian restaurants outside of my hometown. For the majority of people who aren’t as picky I do believe this would be a great Italian experience. I just need more bodied flavours & to feel like it’s authentic which I did not. To be fair- it’s hard to find. So I give it a graceful four star. Parking is street parking. Can be difficult to find. Likely need to walk. Sometimes need to pay if you’re within pay hours.

We were extremely disappointed after trying to eat here. We first ordered their no cheese pizza as an appetizer. It just tomato sauce on pizza dough. No flavour at all. They did remake us a pizza that was more flavourful and I do appreciate them for rectifying that for us. We then got our entrees I got the gnocchi pesto dish and I got it without the cheese and it was 7 lbs of olive oil with pesto. I ate maybe 3 pieces but all I could taste was oil and it was so bland. My boyfriend got their cannoli dish and it had 7 lbs of cheese on it, again no flavour and three bites in he couldn't eat it. All the oil and the cheese was all that dish was. We paid $105 for the meal and ended up throwing away the food. That pains me to say with how expensive this meal was. It was inedible, bland, and not the Italian experience we had hoped for. Would not recommend eating here.

Absolutely the best service in town!!! So attentive and hospitable. And I haven't even said anything about the food. The food was amazing! The Tagliatelle noodles were perfectly eldente and the Tortellini is to die for. We also tried the special pizza for that evening and it was a pepperoni sausage with hot honey. Oh my, so good with a great bit of heat. We also had the caesar salad and bruchetta with buratta and they were both delectable. Highly recommend and we will be back for sure. We just went three days ago and I already want to go back. Such a great menu.

We were a group of 10 and made a reservation here on a Tuesday night. The place was amazing—the atmosphere was lively, the food was absolutely delicious, and the service was excellent. The only downside was that the food was a bit pricey, but given that it’s a fine dining restaurant, it was expected and well worth it.

To start we ordered through skip the dishes. Risotto was undercooked, crunchy and drowned in a bland cheese sauce. Pesto rigatoni was bland and oilier than a teen hitting puberty The $32 carbonara was the real letdown like the oilers in game three of the stanley cup playoffs. Lots of hope to open up a tin of dissappointment. Consistancy of sludge. Very, VERY little pancetta. Absolutely no flavour. The cook tonight clearly did not care into putting his best effort into a skip the dishes Customer. He should be disappointed with himself. I should have gone to the frozen food section of a grocery store grabbed a Michelinas and heated it up in my hotels microwave. Ordering online is supposed to attract the customer into coming into the store and experiencing the business first hand. Next time I stay in saskatoon and Craving pasta I will take my money to ye Olde spaghetti factory. Paid $120 actual reasonable value $60-70

Visited on my birthday. Best experience I had in keg. We were served with fresh breads and we ordered prime rib steak and New York stirloin, it was tender and juicy. Mouth watering taste. Along side they provided a complimentary cake. Must visit if you love steak.

Perfect place to come for dinner!! I love the atmosphere so much, the food was delicious, freshly made and gourmet tasting. The menu ranged from different meats and the steak was incredible, i personally enjoyed the complementary bread they served before the food and the butter was rich. If you have the time, i recommend checking it out!

Food was great. Had a few lobster tails..... funny that I don't come for the the steak but more for the sea food. The picture that was after eating the lobster tail dinner with 2 extra tails. 4 more for dessert

The Keg never disappoints when you're looking for a nice steak supper. A 10 minute wait as a walk-in on a Saturday night. Hats off to our server, John, for adding to an enjoyable experience for a birthday celebration. Bonus points to the restaurant for always offering a complimentary dessert to the birthday person. My go-to entree choice is the Sirloin and Lobster. For appies I'll always recommend the Mushrooms Neptune and Calamari. This time around we also tried the Garlic Cheese Toast which was full of flavour and delicious.

Anyway we ended just choosing our meals I’ve got 20 oz rib steak I went with there Caesar salad to start with it was very bland and all of my co workers agrees that the salad wasn’t very good. Anyhow the steak was quite good though and the service was decent as well we all just wish was how do u ran out of turkey dinner two hours in lol specially when it’s thanks giving and the salad could use more sauce or something it was quite bland.

Went on Thanksgiving for the special turkey dinner, and it was sold out 2 hours into the shift so we didn't get any. Super lame, that's the point of going there that day. Also the Caesar salad was bland and made with wilty lettuce. Poor showing. Server was awesome.

UNA Pizza + Wine in Saskatoon is a stylish bistro known for its thin-crust pizzas, Mediterranean-inspired tapas, and an extensive wine selection. The restaurant offers a special 4-course menu for Valentine's Day, featuring dishes like Kale Caesar Salad, Crispy Confit Duck Leg with Truffle Butternut Squash Puree, and Churros for dessert.
Fun, though loud, atmosphere. Good service. I had the winter pear daiquiri, which was tasty. My partner loved his beet salad, and I enjoyed the arancini to start. We went with the peppercorn beef pizza and thoroughly enjoyed it. First time back in quite a while, and it’s still a solid choice for dining on Broadway.

Nice Italian pizza 🍕 The pizza was delicious 😋😋😋 Nice dough, fluffy and bouncy. I always love thin-crust pizza and this one didn't disappoint me 😋 All four flavors are good 👍🏻 Loved the mushrooms Chili oil was good but not too outstanding. Not spicy at all The dip samplers were good. The homemade ranch has a distinct taste of fresh herbs made it different than normal ranch 😋 Gluten friendly crust was good too although not as fluffy as the normal crust. After taking home the rest it still tasted good without reheating.

Overall, this is a great place to eat, and I usually enjoy my visits. I typically order the spicy margherita pizza, but during my last visit, the regular margherita was served instead. Unfortunately, our server didn’t check back with us, so I wasn’t able to mention it. I do have to say, the caramel pot de crème is absolutely delicious and one of my favorites here. While I’ve had many positive experiences, this particular visit fell short of my usual expectations.

This pizza used to be amazing. We have always got the gluten free pizza from here and never had any issues. They changed the crust and recipe to the carnivore pizza and our family did not even touch the second one. The chunks of ham were huge and disgusting. It’s like a someone took their kid to work for the day and let them make pizza. For the 70 dollars for 2 medium pizzas - we expected better……Won’t be back.
RVKMB F — Google review
For $25 a pizza I just expected it to be better. Pizza had clumps of oil, crusts were burnt black, and barely any pepperoni. Service was eh. Server took at least 10 minutes to even greet our table, and was dressed in joggers and a pink shirt compared to the other servers who were dressed professionally. Also ordered the Italian soda, and would’ve appreciated to know that it was in a can and therefore would not have paid $7 for it. Won’t go back, wasn’t a horrible, terrible experience but also wasn’t great.

This place is amazing. My boyfriend and I came up from Regina and were told we just had to try this place, it did not disappoint! We have the fried garlic bread and ‘the local’ pizza to share. All fairly priced with lovely service and great atmosphere. We will be returning when we come up here next! :)

EDIT: finally had the chance to go back to UNA and we had a fabulous time. The pizza and arancini are great, as is the sangria. OLD: Disappointing service. Booked a reservation and when we arrived, we were told that they had no pizza dough left but were still serving other food. The group of us were fine with that, as we planned to primarily order drinks and some appetizers. Before all of us could arrive, we were told that they closed the kitchen and won’t be serving drinks anymore, right as their happy hour started (and what we all came for)!

Came here for a private event. Food was decent but nothing too special. Expected more. Had kale salad, bread balls, chicken bites and 4 types of pizza. Wasn't overly impressed by any of it. Kale salad and bread balls were the best part. Didn't enjoy any of the pizza really. Chicken was good. Service is n/a because of being a private event. Atmosphere was industrial. It was clean and seemed like a nice place. Pretty crowded in our private room but that could not be their problem. Bathrooms were nice, looked to be lots of space in main area, kitchen is very open to public to see which I like. Overall just wasn't very impressed. It was fine but not great. Food wasn't great.

Sticks and Stones is a modern Asian fusion restaurant founded by Chef Dale Mackay and restaurateur Christopher Cho. The menu features Japanese and Korean dishes like ramen, steamed buns, sushi rolls, pork belly steamed buns, sashimi, Chicken Karaage, Bibimbap, and Korean Fried Chicken. The restaurant offers a great atmosphere with playful murals and attentive service.
Sticks and Stones have a great atmosphere and great looking waitresses. The waitress was tall and very pretty. I ordered Chicken Karaage, Bibimbap, Korean Fried Chicken. They were all great! This is a good place in Saskatoon just besides O’Sheas. I have been here many times and will continue to be a patron of this fine establishment. Thank you.

Have been here numerous times over the years and never left disappointed. You are always greated with a smile and warm welcome from staff when coming in. Ladies serving the tables are polite and friendly. Last time it was Mila and she was wonderful. She has worked from the opening and can see why she is still around enjoying what she does. It was a pleasure to be served. Food is always delicious. Ramens are some of the best i ever had. Sushi is exquisite and taste very fresh. Some meals definitely fill you more per $ than others which is totally okay. Not all restaurants should make you filled up overboard. Bibimpap is my personal favorite. Korean food is just very unique and these guys make it in the best tradition of the country. Design has a great taste and open kitchen is cool, ability to smell some food even before getting to it (if sitting by the kitchen). The bar and the area around look beautiful. Thank you for all the times we enjoyed food and drinks here, would definitely be back!

This is the last week they're open!! T_T Come visit before they close!! It was a fun and tasty experience!!!!!! Thank you Alex for the amazing experience. You played a decisive role in my experience. The sashimi: is of standard fare. Difficult to improve or distinguish. The ramen: the main outstanding feature is the egg. I was pleasantly surprised with how it tasted. If nothing else, the egg's uniqueness is the hook. The cocktail: "Salty Seas" Its ingredients are definitely of East Asian influence. It beautifully comes together to form a cocktail I would indulge without remorse or reservation. The desert: "sour berry" I feel, adheres to the Japanese Pallet. As in, it is not a desert covered in another desert, topped off with a different desert. It does not wear out its welcome after the first bite. It is a dish to indulge to the very end, with out the lingering guilty feelings of potential cavities or calorie counting. The dish welcome you to finish it, and it does not become a chore to finish. I would without question return. Alex, thanks again!

A nice trendy restaurant. The food was very good, I had the ribeye rice bowl and it was very good. The prices were not outrageous which I was surprised by that. My wife said the sushi was very good. I wish they had a better beer selection, maybe a few more local craft brands instead of just great west. Very friendly staff and the place was clean.

Having tried lots of Korean food in my life, I can vouch for Sticks and Stones as one of the most interesting and delightful fusion I've ever had. Cozy yet lively atmosphere, incredible staff and top of the class taste experience with delectable presentation, what's there not to like? Big kudos to Chef Guggenheimer and team.

Tasty food and great service! The menu is only one page, but all the choices looked good. The server was attentive, helpful, and recommend some dishes that were safe for my allergy (peanuts) and we thoroughly enjoyed them. Cocktails were fancy too! The atmosphere, quality, and price are upscale and Asian inspired.

Delicious! We always leave happy when we eat at sticks and stones. There menu is limited, however everything on the menu is amazing! We had the pork belly steamed buns: UNREAL! You need to try them, they are a must have! We also had the chicken karaage, which was fantastic! The flavour was very authentic japanese, but the texture had a modern twist on it-- it was super crispy. As for the ramen, it was delicious. We had the shoyu ramen and spicy ramen. Both were fantastic, and the broth was superb. We could tell they used real bones to make their broth, and the pork that came with it was to die for. My only complaint was that the noodles were slightly soften than I care for-- not a big deal tho. Drink selection was great; there are so many fun cocktails and authentic asian spirits. A wonderful place to get eastern asian food.

Walked in front doors and the experience begins :) We didn't have reservations (highly recommended) and had a choice between the Sushi Bar or the Cocktail Bar... we chose the latter.... The Bartender that took our order was very informative about the menu, was very accommodating with the fact our party of 4 was here to eat and not drink.. BTW Stunning display of very hard to find Japanese whiskey... We ordered Miso Ramen, Spicy Ramen, Pork Belly Plate, and Korean Fried Chicken with soya glaze... for dessert, the Cheesecake.. The flavors were outstanding, the plating was beautiful. I will be going back and try everything on the menu. Well worth it... $$$

St. Tropez Bistro has been a beloved fixture in Downtown Saskatoon since 1979, offering a unique and charming dining experience. The bistro is housed in the historic Hanson Building on Second Avenue South, which adds to its character and charm. With a strong emphasis on using fresh, local ingredients, the bistro's rooftop garden has been a source of produce since 1999.
First visit at St. Tropez Bistro and it was a hit! For appetizers, the buns had a slight sweet taste to them and were accompanied by lemon and garlic butter. The spinach balls had such a unique flavour, they were served with dill and oil that not only looked so wonderful, it complimented the spinach balls perfectly! I'm not usually one for mushrooms but with that being said, the mushroom tartlets tasted great and they were served with a balsamic glaze. For entrees, the bison ribs (meat fell right off the bone) were served with fresh veggies and mashed potatoes. The gnocchi had chopped almonds which gave it a nice crunch! For dessert, lavender honey lemon posset, pave de chocolat and homemade ice cream! Everything tasted so fresh and delicious! If I had to pick something from each course though, I would give it to the spinach balls, gnocchi and pave! I joked with the server that I wish I could have a bag of those spinach balls and eat them like chips! The server was very friendly and efficient, always coming by to refill drinks. The food was served in a timely manner but by no means rushed! Ambience was very nice too! I didn't know until yesterday that St. Tropez Bistro and Parlour are owned by the same person and operate with the same kitchen! Would absolutely reccomend and plan to return!

We had the pleasure of going to the Bistro for a work Christmas party in January, and they had plenty of room for ~25 of us in the back room. Super diligent staff, great menu options (I recommend the bison!), and the desserts were exquisitely designed and tasty. Go check out this Saskatoon iconic spot as well as the speakeasy upstairs!

I love the simplicity of St Tropez - it’s traditional, with good wooden furniture, white-linen tablecloths, and simple, clean brickwork and walls with thoughtful touches. It’s clean, comfortable, and the sound volume of everything is perfect for intimate conversation and some laughs. We had the family-style four course set meal tonight, and it had to be one of the finest offerings in town. The food and ambience is European-style, but the portions are decently sizeable. I pride myself on a good appetite, but I felt a small waddle coming on as we left. The mushroom tart, the spinach balls, the lamb chop, the roasted veg, everything was delicious. The cocktails were beautifully mixed, aromatic, and served icy-cold. I loved the greens, the herbs, the flowers, and the vegetables that came from their rooftop garden! It’s served with two different desserts, and the honey and lavender posset is a standout. The texture is angelic, and it’s bursting with cream and honey with a fragrance of lavender. You’ll love it. The service was wonderful. We were served by one of the owners, as well as a host who clearly enjoyed her work, and the entire vibe was friendly and hospitable with obvious pride in their product and service. It’s not the average person’s weekday supper, but it’s the perfect place to have a chic dinner with absolutely zero pretension and 100% amazing flavours and service.

The food was really good! We went to celebrate an anniversary and had the tasting menu! Lots of reviews on the portion sizes, this restaurant is quality over quantity. The starter of spinach balls and the tartlet was excellent. The salad was great. The main course of fish and lamb was well done, and the dessert finished everything off nicely.

My wife and I had an amazing date night at St Tropez Bistro. As we are not from Saskatoon we were intrigued that the place had been open for 46 years and figured they had to be doing something right. The dimly lit dining room featuring early 20th century jazz sounds transported us down South to a familiar world of fine dining. The mushroom tartines were our favorite bite but the pickerel was close behind. The gnocchi was our favorite taste of the night. The blue curaçao whiskey drink was an interesting take on a whiskey sour and my wife loved her aura borealis mocktail. Service was great and so was dessert.

This is such a well hidden gem in the city. The atmosphere is so quaint and intimate, and the food and service simply outstanding. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!!!!

What an excellent dining experience! The service was great-- allbeit a little robotic if that makes sense. There were very few people around which took away from the ambiance. The food was delicious, but not as highly elavated as one would expect. For an appy, we got the carpaccio, which was great. The bread could have been fresher and needed more agressive seasoning, but overall was great. We had the duck (was recommended to us) and the gnocci which was lovely! The duck was perfectly cooked and featured lovely fall root vegetables. The gnocci was great as well, however was sort of...one note. For dessert we had the creme caramel, which was fantastic! It would have been even better if it had some crunch or other form of texture, but the flavour was great! My only complaint was that our red wines were chilled and not in the cleanest glasses which made it hard to enjoy. Overall, a great experience!

My recent visit to Rock Creek Woodsmoke Grill + Bar in Saskatoon was, unfortunately, a disappointing experience that left much to be desired. Despite the restaurant having only a handful of diners, our meal took an inexplicably long time to arrive which felt unacceptable given the near-empty dining room. When our steaks finally arrived, they were overcooked to a tough, well-done texture, despite our clear request for medium. The server was apologetic and offered to have the steaks redone, which we appreciated, but the execution was poorly handled. Instead of refreshing the entire meal, they left our sides—now cold and unappetizing—on the table for us to "nibble on" while we waited for the replacement steaks. This made the experience feel disjointed and cheapened the meal further. While the staff was polite, the overall service and food quality didn’t justify the price. The replacement steaks were marginally better but still not up to the standard we expected for the cost. For a restaurant with such a promising reputation, this visit was a letdown and not worth the money. I hope they can address these issues, but I won’t be rushing back anytime soon.

The restaurant is a nice design, high ceilings, very clean. Our waitress was excellent, friendly and attentive. Sadly the chicken fingers were way over cooked, the jambalaya was tasty but not jambalaya it was more like rice with spicy spaghetti sauce. The beef brisket tacos were very good. Yes I was disappointed. They did offer 15% off the chicken fingers but our evening was spoiled.

Rock Creek offers decent food with great service. I tried the Cucumber Ginger Mist mocktail, which was refreshing but overly sweet—order it without syrup for a better balance. The Prawn Mushroom Stuffs and Guac Brie Wrap with Caesar salad were good, but nothing extraordinary. The friendly server made the experience more enjoyable. A solid spot, but not particularly memorable.

The restaurant boasts a welcoming atmosphere with contemporary decor and rustic touches, making it an ideal spot for gatherings or casual meals. Their menu features classic dishes with innovative twists, highlighting locally sourced ingredients and bold tastes.
Went to State and Main in downtown Saskatoon for my birthday supper... there were 12 of us. Our server's name.was Sarah. She was fabulous. The food.... was sooooo good!! We had appies - bang bang shrimp, calamari and pretzel bites. The shrimp was juicy, well cooked and so flavourful. The calamari was mixed with rings and tentacles (tentacles are my fave), jalapeños and other peppers. They were incredible!! And the pretzel bites were sharp and pointy and came with a delicious cheese sauce. Omg i would go there just for the appies!! The drinks we had were also very delicious! I had a caeser which came with a snack skewer that was yummy, then the frozen pink lemonade came and it was out of this world delicious. So good that I didn't mind the multiple brain freezes from sipping too fast. The sunshine something slushie drink was also super tasty! Our mains were very good as well. I had the shrimp and truffle rigatoni, others had steaks, fish tacos, chicken tenders, beef dip and teriyaki bowl as well as caeser salads, soup etc. I told Sarah several times to let the kitchen know that the food was sooo good. Overall, the atmosphere, service and food was a 12/10. Highly recommend.

Before going to a play at Persephone Theatre, My wife and I had the pleasure of dining at State and Main, where I particularly enjoyed the food paired with a refreshing beer. The service was excellent, and despite the place being packed, it did not affect the waiting time for our meal. The staff were attentive and efficient, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. I highly recommend State and Main for its great service and delightful food.

2nd time in here, food is tasty and really good, big serving, and perfect temperature. Fast and friendly service. Cozy ambience. I would recommend the Calamari, Spicy Thai Salad and the Pistachio Crusted Salmon.

I recall this place having delicious food about 10 years ago. The meal was less than mediocre this go around. Steak was asked for medium rare and was served well done. One skinny piece of fish with the fish and chips. Flavours on both dishes were bland. The service was alright, not anything special. The ambiance was mostly calming, as it is a dimly lit restaurant. This is nice, except when you're seated under the brightest light in the restaurant.

Services & ambience at this chain restaurant never disappoints me. 🙌 Chicken Enchiladas was yummy in taste. 🤩 Pistachio Salmon was not so great in taste for me. 👎 Cinnamon bun with ice cream dessert 🍮 was awesome. 👏 Thanks for the services. 👍

Really fabulous staff. I had my service dog there. Totally welcomed her and accommodated our request to make it easier for my dog and the staff. They even brought out a little few pieces of bacon to give her. We had the Bang Bang Shrimp appetizer. I normally not a seafood fan. That however was good. Of course we let the dog have a couple pieces she loved it she was drooling all over the floor lol. For supper I had the pistachio crusted salmon. They were also very accommodating because I asked if the asparagus could be cooked a lot longer because I have problems swallowing with my multiple sclerosis. They did not bat an eye, it turned out perfect. My date had one of the steak dinners and commented how much he enjoyed it.

The brewery offers a variety of European farmhouse-inspired ales to accompany their wood-fired artisanal pizzas and breads. Additionally, the brewery surprises visitors with an array of delectable desserts, including a daily rotating Creme Brulee selection.
Very delicious and great atmosphere! I had a Tofu burger that was phenomenal. Super filling and with fries on the side that made it a great Sunday (cheat) meal. 😅 The service was good. The waiting time for the food was a little bit prolonged, but nothing to complain about.

Came here the other day with my family for a few beers and we loved the atmosphere on the patio. Pet friendly is nice and I saw they offer pup cups for the dogs that stop in and a bowl of water for them too. 3 of us got flights of beer which weren't very cold but that didn't bother us a ton. I liked the hopped honey so much I got a pint of it afterwards. Overall I would say our experience was perfect 👌

It’s a great spot for delicious food, great atmosphere and delicious beers. They make their own beers onsite and carry other beers from local breweries! Their patio offers ample seating and a lovely view on the residential neighborhood Prairie Sun is located in. HIGHLY recommend a stop here.

In from out of town stopped in here from recommendation from local friend. Can tell you 100% disappointed in the recommendation, we had the smoked burger w/ fries and honey dill sauce and burrito bowl and it was incredible! I wish I smoked pulled pork any where as well as they do here that was in the bowl! The burger and fries were some of the best ive ever had and the dip amazing. Our server was Avery and she was awesome could not recommend her enough wish all staff were as welcoming and awesome as she was!

Husband raves about the craft beer. Kids (11 & 13) think the servers are the nicest people on the planet. Would gladly eat the warm pretzel daily. Family and extended gang of friends have eaten out here more in the past three months than anywhere else in the city. The upstairs space has bits from the days of Lydia’s which are so nostalgic.

The menu boasts an impressive array of dishes, including AAA Canadian steaks, gourmet poutine, juicy burgers, tender ribs, and fresh seafood options.
Was pleasantly surprised. Though family friendly it was very sports oriented, a lot of tvs and felt more bar like even on the family side. Food options are varied, something for everyone. Loved the varied kids options too. Portions are fabulous. Nachos are layered like theyre home made (no lack of toppings here- every single chip had cheese and toppings on it). The calamari was expertly fried to perfection. Not chewy, but delicious and melt in your mouth. Pleasantly surprised with the bill as well. Full order of nachos, calamari, pickle chips, edaname beans, 2 kids meals, drinks (no alcohol), was 89 before tip. Which was quite reasonable for the amount of food we recieved. We eat out (too much), and find we pay at least the same amount, if not more, for smaller portions at other places. Though passing through we will be back!

It was nice here! I got the Wendell burger, and there was fries on the side. It wasn't the BEST food I've ever had, but it was enjoyable! I recommend coming here with a group of people. The atmosphere here was very calm when I got here, and when I left. Here's a tip: put ketchup on your fries! It helps a lot.

We were in the area for just a night before flying back to the USA. This looked like a good place to try and it’s very near the airport hotels. Kind of has BWW vibes, sports memorabilia on the walls and screens streaming various sports. They have a more varied menu though. All our food was delicious and came out quickly. Place was clean and comfortable. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. We would return if in the area again and highly recommend.

Very disappointing. I ordered through Uber eats. Chicken strips tasted very old like they had been sitting out and had that old hard texture. Perogies were very oily yet dry. the sandwhich I got was pretty good. the au jus though just tasted like water and soy sauce. The fries were very stale too. Definitely couldn't recommend this place.

I'm from Prince Albert , I like to visit Leopold's Tavern whenever I visit Saskatoon with my friends. I came alone today around 7 p.m. and ordered Buffalo Chicken Ranch Poutine as takeout because most of the tables were occupied. This is the first time I've ordered my favorite poutine as takeout. When I got home, I noticed the poutine didn't have buffalo sauce and cheese. I was totally disappointed. I totally understand it was busy. Please ensure that orders are fully prepared beforehand. Anyway, I'll visit Leopold's Tavern again. Thank you.

The Hose and Hydrant Brew Pub is a relaxed local tavern situated in a refurbished firehouse, offering an assortment of craft beers and traditional pub fare. This brew pub, housed in a restored 1911 fire station, boasts a comfortable vintage ambiance and even features a delightful rooftop patio for the warmer months. It serves as an ideal destination for enjoying drinks before attending lacrosse games, with convenient bus transportation provided by the establishment. The atmosphere is inviting and staff members are amusing and amiable.
Definitely a fun place to hang out. It has that chilled weekday pub vibe and I’m assuming a more upbeat vibe on weekends. The building is fantastic and having three levels also adds to the fun. Lower level is pub like, as is second floor, which goes out to the roof top area. The third floor is setup for a DJ and for dancing or live band. Had an open face roast beef sandwich with a barley and chicken soup, all tasty. And I must say all the waitstaff are super friendly and knowledgeable. And thanks to our waitress for making an important birthday that much more special.

Great roof top patio. The food which is usual pub food was good. We had the creamy dill wings which had lots of sauce. It's one of the better wings I had in the city. We also had the jalapeno poppers and rib bites. All the food was fresh and served hot. The service which fantastic! Our waitresses were very friendly and we were never left waiting for a drink or anything else we needed. A great place for a drink while enjoying the fresh air. We'll be back!

The hose surprisingly had really good food. The nachos were fully loaded with no hidden extra costs and came with guacamole and the wings were.very crispy large and delicious. Wing night is on Thursday here love an alternative wing day! Drink selection is sub par regular bar type drinks no specialties which is too bad but their patio is fab.

Old fire station like building facade. Has three levels with counter as you enter and a snooker table to the left and roof patio on the second and a DJ floor on the third. Moraya was a wonderful host full of smiles and always ready to help suggest a dish or drink. Bar food was top notch and decent size. If am in town, i am here any given evening.

Fire Hall 1911 : an unexpected exposure to architecture from last century. Vintage decorations an inviting intro to curved stairs heading to open-air seating . Rare in Saskatoon, more typical in the tropics. . Enjoy sitting under heaters or next to deco flames. Intriguing menu that includes Ukrainian appetizers and British nachos. Efficient waitresses get quite a workout between pool table area downstairs and upstairs patio.

Since its debut in early 2021, Filosophi Wise Cuisine has quickly become a beloved spot for food enthusiasts. Known for its innovative cocktails like the Cloud—an enchanting mix of vodka, rose, white wine, and fresh lime juice served over cotton candy—it’s a must-try during their lively weekend brunches that also feature refreshing mimosas in flavors like orange, grapefruit, and guava.
Had an amazing experience today! The food was absolutely delicious—every bite was full of flavor and so well prepared. But what truly made our visit special was our server. his name was Martin M. he was warm, attentive, and genuinely kind, making us feel welcome from the moment we sat down. We dined in on October 3rd around 630pm for my brother’s birthday. The food itself was just ok and the service was what you come to expect from a restaurant. However, where the restaurant shined was the cake; was very delicious. But, my parents unfortunately got food poisoning and all were ill the following evening and morning. Not sure what happened as we all had various meat dishes (chicken, steak) and flat breads. I’d be be quite wary of returning because of this.

I was part of a group of 11 friends that met for supper on a Thursday night at 6pm. The restaurant was about 1/2 full. The food service was a little slow for our large group, which is understandable but our server was excellent at refilling drinks, etc. When my blackened chicken burger and side salad arrived, it looked small on the plate, but the portions were actually huge and the burger was delicious. My group stayed until almost 10, chatting, and the server just let us stay, while checking in periodically and refilling water to the very end. Chairs were comfy; lighting was good - neither too dim nor too bright. It was a terrific experience in all ways.

Came here for my birthday in March! Meal was great, reservation was right on time on a busy night, table was all set and clean with great turn around. All 8 of us loved the cocktails. Forgive me, I cannot remember her name but our server was lovely and quick and super patient with our very large amount of bill splitting! Happy to see they have maintained the old Alexander’s Cheesecake reputation ☺️

Our server was Leyna and she was super sweet and super on top of everything. Came back to refill waters and ask how everything is tasting or doing plenty of times to make sure everything was well. Service was fast and we got our food quickly. Outdoor seating area was super nice and we had a heater above us, we even had a man who worked there come up and make sure it wasn’t too hot for us, which we appreciated. I had the Greek fries and baby back ribs and everything tasted AMAZING. I’d recommend this place to anyone. Thanks a lot Leyna!!!

Diners rave about the fried chicken and the bacon ranch chicken burger, both of which are praised for their incredible flavors. The hand-cut fries paired with gravy add to the comfort food experience.

Always come here with my Boyfriend for a date night, great deals especially on Mondays (25% off burgers) the male server is amazing, always kept our sodas filled and checking up on us often. He's such a sweetheart and makes us feel welcomed and well taken care of. I would give 5 stars but I got severely sick with food poisoning which I believe was from the spring rolls! Good job Clark's! A totally different experience from the last time that I was there. Upon our arrival we had to request a table, which I thought was odd. I would assume that a hostess would seat us. Apparently you just go and seat yourself. The waitress was very friendly. Our drinks were served promptly and the food was the correct temperature. I’m still unsure about the ambiance because it was Karaoke night. Last time the blacken chicken was delicious, this time I had the steak sandwich and it was pretty good.

We’ve been to Clark’s numerous times and generally been happy; today was not the case. The caesar salad that we ordered was terrible. The lettuce was rusty down the romaine spines- not on one or two pieces but though out the whole salad. I took the salad up to the server and told her we wanted a new salad. We did receive a new one and we were told they used fresh lettuce (lucky us!) unfortunately, there were no croutons to speak of and maybe one or two bacon bits. The wings were ok but certainly over the top with salt. The server was clearly not interested in providing decent service as she never bothered to check on us and how the food was. She also felt inclined to clear table (the bar was almost empty) instead of taking our food order. We will not return.

The Underground Cafe is a vibrant spot known for its coffee, breakfast offerings, lunch options, and delectable sweets. The owner, Dallyn Guenther, drew inspiration from his experiences in Australia and New Zealand's thriving coffee culture. After operating a roadside coffee cart in New Zealand, he brought that same energy to The Underground Cafe in Saskatoon. Situated on 20th St. West, the cafe boasts a charming courtyard where patrons can enjoy their beverages.
This place has a comforting cozy atmosphere & loved the musical aesthetics like the upside down drums & the small stage area. I came in around 12:45 PM when there were little to no customers & decided to dine-in. Ordered the chicken, veggie & hummus on grilled flat bread, a Meg White (a candycane tea latte) & one lemon lavender cookie. The staff were friendly at the cashier & table service. The food looked & tasted great. Sure, the contents leaked from the other side while I took a bite, but it the wrap never fell apart from my hands. The Meg White was minty & I could immediately drink it, it wasn't too scalding hot for the tongue which was nice. The lemon lavender cookie wasn't too sweet & the lemon lavender flavors complimented each other. I plan on taking my friend or family members to this place as my treat, would come by again to try their other menu items!

Fun local dive bar karaoke Food was good enough Prices down right affordable Nice community feel where regulars all knew each other Smoking and vaping at door always gross but less than other dive bars and seemed safe

Fun little neighborhood Karaoke bar. If you don't enjoy horrible drunk singing, don't go here, haha. It was pretty fun and something different to do on a Saturday night, and it was good for a laugh or two. The service was excellent with an attentive and fun waitress. She said it was only her 3rd shift here, and she seemed to really enjoy her job. We didn't have food on this occasion but have in the past and everything has always been really tasty and reasonably priced for pub food. We came for the Superbowl and sat through a whole quarter without site of the waitress. Left after the game was over and stood at the bar for at least 10 minutes waiting to pay. Again, the waitress was nowhere to be found. We went again Thursday for some applies and wings and had excellent service and the food was so delicious!

Stumbletown Distilling, located in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, takes pride in using unique local ingredients to create artisan spirits while staying true to tradition. Visitors have raved about the unique and delicious drinks, including mocktails, and the great vibe of the place. The mixologists are knowledgeable and enthusiastic, making it a must-visit spot for both locals and visitors.
We came here for a bachelorette party. When I was booking, I had very prompt responses to all my questions and concerns. We ended up doing the mixology class and we had one person in our party, that doesn’t drink. They accommodated by having a mocktail she was able to make with the rest of us. We had an absolute blast!
Shereen B — Google review
Another awesome experience at Stumbletown - I always get the cocktail flight. They are fantastic. If you’re a cocktail person, and are sad that there’s no good cocktail bar in Saskatoon - it’s here. Hidden gem.
Caroline A — Google review
We accidentally stumbled into a Cameco event when we visited, so I can’t speak to some aspects of the general experience. However, I did try two cocktails (oak n’ smoke and Meet at the Disco), which were good. They do use club soda instead of actual tonic in their G and Ts, which I don’t care for. Their prices are really decent for cocktails and other alcoholic drinks though.
Jessica D — Google review
Through our daughter's Canadian friend, we (a german group) had the chance to get a tour of the company's beer and spirits production. Matt took a lot of time for us. It is a new brewery that also produces gin and whiskey. Just call them and ask for a tour of the company or book a beer tasting straight away. Here in advance, a beer will soon be available that is very close to our German Pilsner. We were already able to try it.
Wolfgang M — Google review
We had a tour and tasting with a group of co-workers here. The information was good, but you had better like gin for the tasting.

I ‘stumbled’ into this hidden gem after looking for places to go with visitors from out of town. I wish I could remember his name, but the mixologist working there made the experience. He was incredibly knowledgeable and his enthusiasm is what made the experience so much fun (and the amazing cocktails). This will be a regular spot for myself and will be a go to spot for taking visitors.
Vanessa S — Google review
These guys are great. I accidentally walked in when they were not open. The hospitality of Craig was amazing. He welcomed me in and showed me that facility. Will come back again soon. Also the gin, vodka and Amaro were surprisingly great and over exceeded my expectations. Make time to visit!!
Nolan K — Google review
This place is a serious hidden gem in Saskatoon. Trendy, yet intimate and welcoming. A cool place to see a live show, or to just pop in for tasty reasonably priced drinks, served by friendly and fun loving staff who truly elevate the experience. Very happy I “stumbled” across this place by pure luck. Highly recommend checking this place out!!

Browns Socialhouse Lawson Heights is a sophisticated yet relaxed bar, pub, and restaurant fusion with delectable and fresh cuisine and an industrial-themed decor. Although the eatery chain can be found across Canada, it exudes a distinct non-chain ambiance. Explore Browns Socialhouse in Moose Jaw for an equally enticing experience. It is a wonderful place to enjoy dinner, offering an extensive beverage selection alongside their mouthwatering menu options like fish & chips, dry ribs, and Caesar salad.
First time here and I’ll be happy to return. Food was good, service was GREAT!! The happy hour quesadilla salsa was SOOOO good!!! The Oreo cheesecake dessert was delicious. Taya our server was so kind and very helpful. There was an issue with our order and she solved with problem very fast and was super understanding. Cant wait to come back and enjoy this place again! I’d return on service alone. Great job!

I celebrated my 18th birthday here at Browns Social House in Lawson Heights. The place was absolutely stunning with its amazing staff, they were so interactive, joyful, and warm. The food was absolutely amazing and did not disappoint the quality of each dish, I would definitely come back here again. Dishes that I would really recommend you getting are the Loaded Nachos, Blackened Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo, The Quesadilla, Fresh Cut Fries, and the Super Fudge Brownie.
Zyrick C — Google review
I had the opportunity to experience eating dinner here with a few others for the first time in a while. When we were here the place was having a slow night. There were lots of TVs with sports on and music playing. It wasn’t too noisy so it was easy to have a conversation and talk. I had the traditional burger with fries. Both the burger and fries were very good and would get them again as well as try more different things in the future.

Warm vibe and delicious food. We ordered Chargrilled stake and Butcher's block burger (both of them suggested by Gracie) Burger was the best burger I've ever had in my life😅 I recommend it to everyone🫠

Capitol Music Club, established by four friends in 2014, is a popular spot in downtown Saskatoon for live entertainment. The venue offers a menu of handcrafted pub fare and regular specials. While some visitors found the breakfast prices to be on the higher side, they appreciated the quality of food and good service. The cozy atmosphere and great staff made for an enjoyable experience during live performances. Additionally, patrons enjoyed the bar food offerings like crispy fries and boneless dry ribs.
Saw the Brett Kissel show and it was awesome. Venue was well kept and the merchandise table staff were great. Hope to catch another show soon. (Edit to original review with better photos, Show: DEC).

Wow, I'm very impressed with the breakfast here. Amazing taste and great prices! The bacon is incredible we both left full and satisfied. We will definitely be returning customers. The decor is pretty cool as well!
Dall E — Google review
I only ever go to the Capitol for live music events. The venue itself is lovely for its size and type - large, airy, clean, and full of character. The sound has been good at all shows I've attended. The food is good and in large portions - when you can get your order in. The servers are clearly overwhelmed by large crowds and it can be a wait to be served or checked on. That said, they are friendly and very good about clearing tables consistently through the night.
Jacki A — Google review
My daughter and I went for dinner and a show. The beef dip was dry and had chunks of chewy bits, the fries were fine, and the salt and pepper wings were good! The bench seating is very uncomfortable, and our table was really tippy. However, our server was attentive.
Bobbe P — Google review
The Breakfast has gone downhill. It use to be one of the best places in the city. I am sad to see such a good breakfast get downgraded to Hotel level quality. The toast is just regular boring bread. The bacon is half the thickness & flavor compared to the old style (Not worth the "upgrade" to thicker bacon". Hashbrowns have little flavor.
Jordan K — Google review
Paid twice the money for a VIP ticket. We watched other VIP ticket holders save whole tables. Then at 9 o’clock when the regular admission time started, those tables were filled by people who did not purchase VIP tickets. What a money grab! I guess we should’ve had one person in our group purchase a VIP and then the rest of us come in at 9 o’clock. Other than that, a cool venue visually. However, for a music venue, the acoustics are terrible. There was so much reverb on the mikes. You could not understand what anyone was saying, let alone what they were singing. I realize drinks are expensive in a bar but $13 for a small glass is a bit over the top. $10 for a beer? Really? A very disappointing experience. We will not return.
Sandra G — Google review
An otherwise decent time ruined by the host last weekend at the OUT Saskatoon fundraiser. We went to support our friend last weekend. The entertainment was wonderful and in that regard, I’m glad we went. However, the host wouldn’t leave our table alone and reeked like old cigarettes. It seemed like he was on another planet where he thought he was schmoozing and totally killing it but in reality he was just sloppy and annoying. His presence really made our night take a turn and we ended up leaving to go down the road to High Key instead. I’m not sure if this guy (bucket hat and beard) is a regular host but I won’t be rushing back to the Capitol just in case he is.
Christopher P — Google review
I took my mom here for a Mother's Day brunch and they were out of a lot of ingredients for their drinks, my fiancé's omlette was cold and my waffle was hard. I think they should stick with night time events only. 10/10 would not recommend them for breakfast.

I love everything about this place. On my list of favorite places to go in Saskatoon this would be in my top 10. The staff are friendly and helpful, the food at prairie ink is delicious and something about it is incredibly nostalgic for me. Last time I visited for lunch by myself I saw a customer leave their number for one of the waitresses and her and I shared a quiet smile over it. Will be back a million times.

Hidden Gem 💎 in Saskatoon. So amazing ambience and so wonderful and professional staff. Recommend to everyone.
Jai C — Google review
I love this store. The staff are great! Unfortunately, in the past several months things have changed. They are stocking very expensive items. Why would you sell clothing with no change rooms to try them on? and the price points are around $200!!!! I would NOT take a $200 item to the washroom to try on to see how it looks. I would understand a cozy sweater, slippers, and blankets or a little bit of 'book-related' clothing/merchandise. Standard stuff when you want to cozy up with a good book. But $200 blankets?!? Dresses? Jumpers? I would much rather spend $200 on books than on the ridiculous priced clothing and blankets. This is Saskatoon. Not Vancouver or Toronto. And the clothing racks make it very difficulty to maneuver around. There is not enough room for my disabled family member, and even I knock things about while holding my purse close to my body. I thought this was a Bookstore!?!

The spacious area provides ample seating and numerous screens to view games from every angle.
Great spot for Beach Volleyball! It's been 2 years since we watched our daughter play & I understand the leagues have increased immensely, resulting in more game slots each week & a much longer playing season including some cooler months early in the year. It's great that the participants continue to enjoy it. Love watching when we're in Canada & our only evening this year the weather was perfect 👌

I had the beef dip with a poutine for a side. It was a very interesting flavour for the beef dip. Very delicious. Definitely would come back again for it. The poutine I had was really good. Normally I need to add extra salt to my fries, but didn't have to here. It was seasoned perfectly. The place was pretty busy and the service was very good. The other person I was with got boneless chicken wings with honey dill sauce. I tried a piece and it was amazing. Lots of TV's to see the sports games if you are interested in checking out a game. They also have an arcade and slot machines on site as well. Would come back again!

Their $7 wings are a hit! They have a great spacious area for customers and lots of screens to view the games from all angles! Had a couple orders of wings which was good. They also have great prices for cocktails. The server was good although it has somewhat gotten slow as people started to come in that night. Still a great experience and will definitely be back!

Worst servers in the city by far! Last 3 times in a row i was completely ignored by the waitresses the entire time I was here. Used to be my goto spot to watch the UFC fights but want to watch them in an establishment that actually serves there customers.
Don — Google review
Walked in Saturday afternoon for a drink in-between a wedding ceremony and reception at a different location. Pretty busy at the time, and appeared to have only 2 servers on, with only one doing the majority of the work. A server did not come to our table to take our order, and after having to wait 20 mins + I joined the long line up at the till to finally get a beer. Decided against ordering food as talking to other tables it took forever to receive it. The bartender gave great service with a smile, and i received my drink asap... This is the 2nd time that this has happened with long wait times first to be acknowledged, then to get our drinks, then to place our food order and it take forever to come. Our experience this weekend reminded me why I never come here, recommend this place, or bring my friends
Garry C — Google review
It's a great bar with lots of TVs, lots of space, and lots of parking. Perfect for steak nights and other large events.
Kim S — Google review
service in this historic place has declined as of late. I remember all the UFC's, game 7's, and outdoor volleyball games, attending steak night functions, spent thousands of dollars here over the years. That atmosphere and service has changed drastically, waitresses not making their rounds, busy talking and texting on her cell phone, had to ask for menus, once food came they got our order wrong, never seen a waitress again, we waited an hour, this wasnt just one of those "its a busy night issues" this was a clear and utter disregard for us as patrons. had to go up to the bar to order our own drinks, they didnt even bring us cutlery or napkins. i guess they expect you to eat with your hands here.

Last night, I went to a steak fundraiser and the waiter made a scene and was berating a customer who was only trying to assist. The manager told the group that they could start eating but left and didn't gather the meal tickets. One waitress told the customer that she was contolling the ticket gather but was being loud and combative about it. It was very unprofessional of her. The food was great but it came from the restaurant below the bar.

Italian restaurant
Nestled in a charming corner, Bar Gusto is an intimate Italian bar and restaurant that promises a delightful culinary experience. With its inviting atmosphere and a menu designed for sharing, guests can indulge in rich meats, creamy pastas, and exquisite cheeses. A must-try is the house specialty: egg yolk raviolo. Although the seating is limited to just a handful of tables, creating an intimate vibe for around 30 patrons, the service shines brightly here.
I will start off by saying the only negatives: small seating area (maybe 5 or 6 tables...30 patrons?) And the bathroom is share with the restaurant next door (they are attached more or less). That said we had an absolutely fantastic time and enjoyed the meal thoroughly. 1 server was all they need because she was on the ball. Very knowledgeable when we asked questions, very friendly and quick with the water refills. She checked on us enough when it was needed and left us alone to enjoy our gathering. 2 of us shared the 5 course meal (1 with the drinks pairings) while the other selected antipasto an appetizer and spaghetti and lamb meat ball main.. Absolutly fantastic. Portion size was good. No one went hungry and I eat a lot. Prosciutto antipasto was served with salted bread and was delicious. Egg ravioli cooked without mushrooms per request and was the best thing I ate that night which is saying something as everything was great. It comes as 1 or 2. I wish I ordered two. A regret of my life now. Lamb shank was tender and served on buttermilk polenta. Spaghetti and meat balls came with lots of sauce (noodles was not spaghetti but long flat (like an inch wide) noodles) and melted smoked mozzarella in the middle of the lamb meat balls. Pasta in carbonara was rich and tasty. Artichoke appetizer was large and I am told delicious (I don't eat artichokes). Even the house wine was good (red Alpha Zeta Valpolicella). ...then there was the dessert. We had the tiramisu and the lemon tart. Both were to die for. The lemon tart came with a rosemary creme which I did not think would be good, but it cut the tartness of the lemon perfectly making it a beautiful and delicious dessert. I highly recommend this place. It isn't for someone on a budget mind you. Three of us ate (and ate well) for about $100 per person.

The atmosphere & service were both great however the food was ok. Wouldn’t go again as it’s quite overpriced for what you get.

Went in on Saturday evening. Wasn’t too busy. Ordered drinks and the arrancini. Both ok. Had a hard time choosing something to order for a main course. Asked the server but she didn’t have any recommendations. Settled on the carbonara and the squid ink linguini. Found the carbonara really smokey but that’s all. Not a lot of actual flavour. The squid ink pasta had a “Parmesan broth” it honestly tasted like smelly shoes. The service was sort of awkward too, I think the server was being trained which is fine but they probably should have just mentioned that. We had a gift card and were told we couldn’t leave a tip on the gift card. Silly. Overall compared to una, bar gusto really missed the mark. Will be sticking to the other Taste Group restaurants.

Amazing cute and cozy pasta place! The chefs here really know what they're doing. Ask the servers for recommendations on sharing plates! We loved everything especially the BURRATA and egg yolk raviolo. Fried artichokes also a favourite. And boy oh boy is the service here ever top notch :)
