Peruvian restaurant
Fine dining restaurant
Maido is an upscale and modern restaurant that offers a unique blend of local cuisine with a Japanese influence. It has been recognized as one of the top restaurants globally, known for its Nikkei dishes which combine Peruvian and Japanese flavors. Chef Mitsuharu "Micha" Tsumura's innovative creations have earned Maido top honors on San Pellegrino's Best Latin American Restaurants list for three consecutive years.
There are truly no words to fully capture this experience. It exceeded every expectation. The service was impeccable, and the presentation was extraordinary. Each course had its own unique display. The food was absolutely delicious, and the ambiance was so nice. One of my favorite details was that for each course, the waiter brought a small basket with sample vegetables and fruits used in the dish, allowing us to see, touch, and understand exactly what we were eating. Since reservations are difficult to secure, we were only able to book seats at the bar, and I am so glad we did. Sitting there made the experience even more special. The chefs shared stories about the restaurant, about Micha, and about their own lives, making the evening feel intimate and personal. It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime dining experience, and I completely understand why they are ranked the #1 restaurant in the world. I hope to return one day, and when I do, I will absolutely choose to sit at the bar again.

After being on the waiting list for a while, we decided to try our luck as a walk in customer. We were so fortunate that there was a slot and we were able to have an early dinner. As the 2025 number one restaurant in the world, we had high expectations. The staff were professional, friendly and explained clearly how we should eat each dish to get the best culinary experience. Each dish gave an amazing taste that is hard to describe and it is no wonder that this is the top restaurant in the world. All dishes were amazing, but my favourite was the scallop with urchin.
Wing C — Google review
We visited the restaurant for the Maido Experience after it got given the #1 Restaurant in the World Award and were not disappointed at all. It was a truly unique experience from the moment we walked in until we left, from the staff greeting until the last goodbye. The restaurant is very tastefully decorated, with exquisite table setting and plates. The dining experience was phenomenal, with 14 different wonderful bites to try, each one with an amazing taste, texture, presentation, combination of flavours and of course a wonderful introduction by our waiter. It took us about 2 hours to go through each dish, with the perfect timing in between dishes for you to eat, savour, take in, enjoy and discuss with your friends. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and can’t wait to come back, next time maybe to focus on a dish or two. We consider ourselves very fortunate for having the opportunity to experience something like this. Thank you Misha for making it possible. ❤️

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “If I came here knowing nothing, I would say I had very delicious food and would love to come every month, but I wouldn’t call this the best in the world. The food is good, but the storytelling is missing and the service mostly just lists the ingredients. The atmosphere is pleasant, the Nikkei–Peruvian fusion is impressive, but overall the experience felt more like casual dining.”
Mo A — Google review
I’ve had really high expectations for Maido, as it was supposed to be one of the peaks of my trip to Peru. However, I left rather dissapointed. There was nothing wrong about the food, it was OK, but nothing special. Had better food many times. Don’t believe it was worth the price or the hype.
Michal J — Google review
Such a fun and tasty dinner! The experience was great.. each course was delicious, a little adventurous, and my favorite part was the use of texture in every dish!! They are booked constantly so their reservations are strict and they should be! Timing of dishes was great and the sake selection is good.
Monique H — Google review
How is this number one in the world? Did these people lose their taste buds in 2025? The meal started out okay but nothing spectacular. Could easily name 100 restaurants that were better than Maido that I’ve eaten at all over the world. They tried to copy Central in bringing in the raw ingredients to the table, but it’s a totally different vibe. The sushi rice was so poorly cooked, even just touching it with the chopstick I could tell it wasn’t right. It was hard and starchy… how can you mess up something so essential in Japanese cuisine? The glass noodles were all stuck together and gummy. And the dessert was just atrocious… chorizo flavored ice cream with a soup of lemongrass flavored soy milk. I’m sorry but it made me want to throw up. Such a disappointment all around.
Jing Y — Google review
Great decorations. Food presentation is amazing. However, for me, the taste is a bit overpowering, especially the citrus taste. For someone who loves Japanese food, the taste did not amaze me, but the presentation is great.

Restaurant
Edo Sushi Bar is a popular spot in Lima, offering classic makis as well as unique combinations of sushi and ceviche. Some must-try items include the acevichado, Salmon skin Maki, and Furai Maki. Despite its small size, the restaurant exudes charm and is known for its courteous staff and delicious food. It's highly regarded for its high-quality ingredients, surprising flavors, good service, and affordable prices.
Small but mighty, this location offers a wide selection of makis, a mix of sushi and Japanese food with Peruvian cuisine. The waitstaff was friendly, and the service was fast enough. We went during dinner, so there were many to-go orders being filled, but we didn’t wait longer than normal for our food. Definitely get the acevichado! Also, they run discounts periodically (we got 50% off for having BCP!) Would definitely recommend.
Bryan H — Google review
Delicious food, mild food poisoning. Probably a case of Anisakis. Party of 7, 6 of us were affected. We ate late in the afternoon, they said the kitchen was closing so place last orders, meaning the fish had been sitting there since the start of lunch maybe, so I suggest going early in the day as opposed to later after opening.
Peter M — Google review
Literally 5 minutes walking distance from my office and my go to place for sushi at least once a week for lunch. The staff is courteous and the food is very good. The place itself is a bit small compared to other Edo's but it has it's charm.
Michael B — Google review
One of my favorite options in Lima. High quality in the products, surprising flavors, good service and affordable price. A goof example about Nikkei food. Totally recommendable. Thanks again EDO team.

Osaka Pardo y Aliaga is a high-end, fine dining restaurant that offers a fusion of Asian and Peruvian cuisine along with cocktails. Visitors are impressed by the exceptional quality of food and the attentive service provided by knowledgeable staff. The restaurant features an outdoor terrace that is heated and comfortable, making it a perfect place to experience Japanese-Peruvian fusion cuisine. While some guests were not particularly blown away by the cocktails, they found that the outstanding food more than made up for it.
Treated myself early to a belated birthday dinner on my final night in Lima after traveling Peru for 2+ weeks ans this place did not disappoint! Ordered a million things and everything was a bite of heaven. The cocktails were delicious and refreshing as well! Service was professional and attentive. Perfect for a date night, a group outing, or a solo dinner at the sushi bar. I 10/10 highly recommend!
Dewi A — Google review
Came on a Saturday night without reservations and was seated at the bar. Please make sure to have a reservation as they tend to get booked and busy. We had the most amazing dinner. All of the sushi was fresh and flavorful. There wasn’t a dish we didn’t enjoy. So much that we got seconds of each. It is well priced with the quality you are getting. The drinks were also very unique and they come with great presentation. Our server was busy but still attentive. Just wished we had more time to eat and take picture of the food but we were to engulfed in how good the food was!
Myat N — Google review
I had three dishes and a very unique matcha sake cocktail. My favorite one is the scallop tiradito! The main course (grilled octopus in cheesy truffle sauce) was too heavy to my liking. But overall it’s a wonderful nikkei experience
Jessie W — Google review
First stop in Lima had to be Nikkei, that perfect Peruvian-Japanese fusion everyone kept recommending. We went to Osaka, and the menu was full of temptations. (I officially gave ceviche a break today after eating it basically every meal in Peru 😂). The fish? Super fresh. The grilled meat? Perfect. The ramen? A little off, but hey, it’s not a ramen shop so I’ll forgive them. Dessert was solid too. But the real MVP? A wild twist on paella that swaps rice for ramen noodles. Absolute genius. 🤯👏
Bow T — Google review
This is one of the best restaurants in Lima and the best Japanese-Peruvian (Nikkei) i Lima I know. Everything from the service, presentation to food, drinks and dessert was excellent. The ballanced combination of tastes with accent on great quality and innovative methods keeps you without the breath. It is price-y and posh, but that's exactly for concrete audience that expects certain level and it is willing to pay for it. Reservation is highly recommended. 5 out of 5.
Jakub K — Google review
Osaka is a place that makes a strong first impression. It’s visually impressive—definitely the spot you pick when you want a meal to feel like a real occasion. The food here is a mixed bag, but the peaks are seriously high. We tried the Tumbo Shrimp, which was fine, no complaints there, but the real showstoppers were the cold appetizers. The Ceviches and Tiraditos were truly exceptional—easily the highlight of the menu. And if you’re a sushi person, you have to hit the Inca Sushi; it was ridiculously good. Beyond the food, they nail the drinks. I had the Negroni, and the presentation was super theatrical; they really put on a show. Crucially, the drink itself was perfectly crafted—not just for looks. I was also pleasantly surprised by how many good vegetarian options they offered; my wife was genuinely pleased, which isn't always the case. Overall, it’s a solid choice for a night out. The ambiance and the standout dishes—like those ceviches and the Inca roll—make it a great place to gather with friends or celebrate.
Ronit B — Google review
Loved the food but service was pretty sub par. The people sitting around me and I all had to wait ages for waiters to pay attention to us. That being said, the Kani tacos were to die for. The makimono was good but didn’t blow me away. Didn’t have a drink but the cocktail menu was very enticing as well. Wish I could’ve tried more of both the food and the drink menu! Paid $25 so it was overall so worth it.
Polin L — Google review
Went there last night to celebrate my last night in peru and my partners birthday. It was easily the best meal we had in the country and I wish we discovered it sooner!! The service was spectacular, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was great. We tried several different dishes to share, some sake, and a cocktail each. I had the citrus cocktail (i can't remember the exact name) and recommend that.

Makoto Sushi Bar is a delightful haven for sushi lovers, offering an impressive selection of 26 different types of makis that beautifully blend traditional Japanese flavors with Peruvian influences. Guests can indulge in classic rolls like the American roll, featuring crab meat and avocado, or the Spicy Tuna roll with its zesty kick.
An absolute must if you appreciate really fresh sushi. We ordered the boat and 2 individual dishes not realizing exactly how large the boat would be. What a wonderful experience it was.
Philip D — Google review
Great atmosphere. Food did not convince me. Had take away sushi and duck-dumplings. The dumplings were ready long before the Sushi and therefore cold when i arrived home & sticking to their container. Even though the taste of the dumplings was good, i bit on something hard whilst eating the second dumpling. Upon close inspection, i am fairly certain i had found a bone (finding marrow upon braking the little "stick") as a result, losing appetite for the other ones. I am a bit shocked by such a slip up, as i can not imagine it being part of the official ingredients. While not being a big fan of the makoto rolls, it may come down to taste & disliking cooked fish in sushi. Rest was good, so i decided not to go lower than 3 stars. Won't be coming back, though.
Ian P — Google review
Great food, very unique and very tasty. With excellent service. My only advice unless you are very hungry, go for 12 pieces rather than 18. Had three different sets of 6 and a lemonade for 112 sols.
Jamie C — Google review
Delicious sashimi combinations, and their stir fried vegetables are always fresh and delicious. Good and refreshing cocktails, and great service. Their boat for 4 people is amazing!

We had a wonderful meal here at Makoto. Neither my mother or her husband eat sushi but were able to find delicious entrees. I had 2 different rolls, both of which were delightful. Bruce provided excellent service! And came out to sing happy birthday to me. Highly recommend!

High end sushi bar that serves fresh well made sushi, poke, makis and others. Menu included in review . The service was punctual and professional. The plates well made flavorful with their own decorations. Enjoyed every bite and have no complaints. You can see the chefs making the food when they do so it’s cool of course

Sushi restaurant
Sushi POP, an offshoot of renowned chef Mitsuharu Tsumura's Maido, offers a unique fusion of Japanese sushi with Peruvian influences. Located in Miraflores, this vibrant eatery provides an excellent getaway for seafood and Japanese cuisine enthusiasts. The restaurant boasts a lively ambiance with colorful decor and intimate table lighting. It is not only an ideal spot to savor delectable food but also to enjoy a variety of refreshing beverages from their well-stocked bar.
Food was great, drinks were pleasant and funny (my drink was served in a cat shaped cup with a hat). Vibe is good if you go in couple, can't say how a bigger group could feel because the place is a bit small. Waiting line was short.
Larry G — Google review
2nd and last time here. There was no salmon, and no beverage option (ordered water). It was a Saturday so it's odd that they don't have fish. Poor service, changed my order, and the server forgot 2 orders of makis. More than 1 hour later my food is still missing. And there's an ant with my order. Cool.
Roberto M — Google review
I don't think there's really that much choice here. It's called Sushi POP, but what happened to all the sushi? There are only like 3 options for traditional nigiri.
Ice W — Google review
We ordered the combination of 8 maki flavours and really enjoyed our experience! Different flavours than you might get at a traditional sushi place but for us that’s what made it so much better. For anyone unsure about the one with beef, try it! It was delicious! Even though we speak a little bit of Spanish they went out of their way and had an English menu and served us in English. Inside is nicely decorated as well!
Blake M — Google review
We got the mix of 8 makis. The food looks aesthetically good, the taste is on the sour side but still enjoyable. But the rice is too hard and the deep fried breading is too thick. Seafood is pretty fresh tho, and our waitress is very friendly and speaks good english
Emily404 — Google review
Good sushi, quick service and friendly staff. There is a good variety of dishes. The atmospheres is relaxed. Good to eat in group or alone. P.s. Try the burgers!
Oscar — Google review
Nice place, good atmosphere, very good service, they were very kind, the food was very tasty, they were one of the first places to visit, recommended ❤️ I hope to go back, Sushi pop
Miroslava V — Google review
Mitsuharu Tsumura is better known because of Maido, but this is its sister creation. Japanese sushi with peruvian tones, in the middle of Miraflores, makes this place a really great escape for whenever fish -or japanese food- is all you have on your mind. Decorated with popping colors, but intimately lit table per table, this is a perfect place not only to have food, but also to share a couple of drinks from their refreshing and well assorted bar. It's also convenient coming in groups, since there's combos that are for the ones who want to try most of the menu.

Magma Sushi Lounge offers delicious sushi, although it can be costly when ordering individual items. It is recommended to try the all-you-can-eat option or the special platter for two, which are priced at 75 and 100 soles respectively. Don't miss out on their unique rolls, such as the exceptional combination of blue cheese and prosciutto. The sauce on the magma roll is especially outstanding.
Amazing sushi, however, its expensive if you order a la carte. I'd suggest the AYCE (75 soles) or get the special platter for 2 (100 soles). Make sure to try the less conventional rolls, (ex. Blue cheese and prosciutto was amazing), and the sauce on the magma roll was to die for!
Patrick H — Google review
We tried the poke bowl with tuna (PEN25) which was very good and the pisco sour both with lemon and passion fruit which was maybe one of the best we had so far in Peru. The best really was meeting José, who is a very captivating host for the house.
P4K T — Google review
The food is delicious, there is no complain, it got honest price, and excellent location. What bothered me was the smell of the place, and they should consider doing some renovation, since it’s looking a bit beat up. If you don’t mind that, good place to go.
Heloisa T — Google review
Shared a bunch of rolls with a group of 6 friends and it was pretty good. I always like when they food comes out displayed on a big boat. The frozen lemonade was just ok because it was mostly ice.
Stephen R — Google review
Great atmosphere and they did have an English speaking waiter, btw the Ceviche was great.

Very decent sushi for a pretty good price; we got 4 different rolls and they were all good. Cocktails could use a little work; my boyfriend's was 95% foam which never completely settled. Good sushi though and chill atmosphere.

Super tasty Japanese and fusion food here!!! The service was great and there was a huge selection of food and drinks. I ate a poké bowl that was beautiful, delicious, and filling! Really top quality ingredients. Also, the place is clean and decorated well. Highly recommend! One of my favorite meals during our time in Lima.

God I love Sushi, and Magma did it right! I got 2 standard rolls and 1 special roll. All fairly priced for the great taste and sexy atmosphere they provide. It's in such a great location of Mira Flores which we could walk to in less than 4 minutes. My girlfriend got the Poke Bowl and has been back 3 times since to handle that craving. Thank you Magma!

Smallest nigiri I have ever had, yet much more expensive than Edo. The ramen was kinda different to normal ramen. It was more like bacon instead of ramen-style pork.

Ordered takeout from here and my boyfriend and I are both pretty disappointed. This is not real sushi and many of the rolls taste pretty much the same with a different sauce. Would not recommend this place and would not order again considering Peru is supposed to have amazing sushi.
Jessica — Google review
Nice place to eat all you can eat sushi. If you have a large stomach you can give them a run for their money. The individual sushi rolls are cut thinner so that's kind of a clever way to balance the all you can eat aspect.
Damien M — Google review
All you can eat (makis/rolls) everyday Monday to Sunday. The price for all you can eat is around 45 soles on weekdays and 55 on weekends. High quality and includes some beverage. They also have a regular menu. Service is excellent. There is valet parking and an exclusive garage. If you go on large groups, plan ahead and make a reservation.

Tried Barra libre (all you can eat) the rolls are really not rolls by taste I mean, completely lost touch of japanese kitchen, only looks like))), fish wasn't fresh, California roll were served with smoked salmon (for those who understand) friendly personal, good kindly service, I am not recommending this place if you want to taste good quality japanese kitchen!

Shizen Restaurante Nikkei in Lima is a trendy spot that offers a unique fusion of Japanese and Peruvian cuisine, known as Nikkei. The restaurant is gaining attention for its creative sushi nigiri and satisfying sushi rolls, all at reasonable prices. Shizen emphasizes variety and individuality in their dishes, showcasing the diverse flavors of Peruvian ingredients prepared with Japanese techniques. The restaurant is run by three young chefs who bring their own cultural influences to the table.
Shizen exceeded every expectation! This was one of the best dining experiences we had in Lima sophisticated, creative, and absolutely delicious. From the moment we entered, the serene and stylish ambiance set the tone for a memorable evening. The service was impeccable gracious, knowledgeable, and attentive without being intrusive. Our server, Leo made excellent recommendations and helped us pair our dishes that elevated the entire experience.

Located in San Isidro, the restaurant were able to get me a table for lunch without prior reservation. The service was attentive and friendly, explaining each dish served. The nigiri and sashimi, along with the scallop ceviche was excellent. The choice of dishes and drinks were very good. The atmosphere felt relaxed. t's a lovely place to go for a relaxing meal, solo or with friends.

Some of the best sushi I’ve ever had in my life vs many cities in the US. Great place to share sushi while on vacation with family. The nigiri changed my life and I had to order more. Wait staff was incredible and so attentive.

The Karedon and Kaimeshi were extremely salty. Other dishes were ok. The service we received was also quite bad unfortunately - despite having many servers around and not being a busy time, we can’t seem to get water refilled and plates removed/replaced. Also the welcome chanting from the kitchen when guests enter the restaurant is kind of disturbing and startling. Overall our worst dining experience in Lima :(

The cashier efficiently verifies the card before taking orders, although it would be more convenient if they could do so directly at the table where the entire family is seated. Typically, Mr. Sushi excels in their delivery service and always strives to ensure customer satisfaction.
I usually order delivery. They always strive to satisfy. Great Sushi variety; Presentation and service. One of my Top favorites
Hector C — Google review
Unfortunately, very average sushi here. The fish in sashimi form is mostly watery and tasteless, and makis tend to swim in huge amounts of sauses that do not add much to the experience.
Adam G — Google review
All excellent, but when paying with a gift card the charging of the card should be smooth. The cashier needed to validate the card before ordering and wanted to take the order at the cashier instead at the table. My whole family was at the table.
Jose G — Google review
There was no texture in the maki's just all mush. No crispy seaweed, the fried makis were horrible, and no real difference in flavors. We were going for the all-you-can-eat but I couldn't eat more than one plate because the food wasn't good. I asked to just pay for one plate, they didn't even bother dismounting or giving me compensation. Had to pay for everything normal price. Bad service won't ever go there again
Jur H — Google review
This Restaurant is a fraud! They offer all-you-can-eat and let you wait for 2 hours for 3 Maki plates. For the next Maki plates you have to wait again. After 3 hours we had to leave hungry and they made us pay a different price which was a lot more than what we acutaly had/ate. I won't come again and advise no one to visit this place
Patrick J — Google review
Nice and delicate Nikkei food but probably too light for Latin diners like us, so you better ask for some rice to accompany your sushis and do not forget to have hot green tea. If you really want to be satisfied, think about spending 40 to 50 soles (15 dollars)
Oswaldo A — Google review
Although it looks like a nice place, the food is just not good - unprofessional sushi (not tight enough, too thin, not tasty) the tampura wasnt crispy at all, and had no flavor. Also the protions are small. The waiter kept forgeting stuff, and the orders didnt came togther.

This place should be shut down. It is an insult to Japanese cuisine. The ingredients were not fresh and the fish smelled bad. NO ONE should be eating this.

The food is always fresh and AUTHENTIC, which makes it easy to enjoy without feeling heavy afterwards. The staff are friendly and welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable.
THE PLACE IS GONE!!! New name. So sad !! Ok so this place opened up next my apartment and I got tell you. It lacked Presentation. But everyone enjoyed them. I got 5- 15 pieces offer for 19 soles. Total 75 sushi roll and they gave me 10 extra thank you guys.

Such good rolls are amazing The Goyza has these mushrooms that are mixed with in the bowl....omg so delicious. We needed a translator for the menu luckily we were next two these awesome young men who are fluent in English so they helped out a lot. We will definitely go back.

The service was great. The sushi was good. The best part of our meal was the Yakitori and it wasn’t on the menu. We ordered the tempura maki and the danny rock n roll. We asked for both without queso crema (cream cheese) and they accommodated us which was nice. Our dinner was 75sol. Not bad at all just expected more...

The best sushi we have ever eaten. Beautiful presentation, great atmosphere and great lunch deal. If I didn't live a few thousand miles away I'd come every day!!

I couldn’t ask for more of a Japanese restaurant serving vegetarian sushi and mains. Good service and delicious food served artistically. I hope my next visit is equally good.
Piyush D — Google review
Good - The food. I ordered the California roll, mozzarella rolland another roll I forget. It had avocado and tempura shrimp. As far as taste goes, all were great. I asked for no cream cheese (Philadelphia) because I don’t like it and they accommodated me. 25 soles for 15 pieces and a drink. Good deal. Bad - The pieces of sushi are really small compared to the United States, you might want to order more if you’re hungry, I thought 15 was going to be a lot but it really wasn’t, as you can see on the picture. The soy sauce wasn’t that salty and the syrupy sweet sauce was really good on all of the sushi. Ugly - payment process took like 5 minutes. The machine ran out of battery and the waiter had to charge it. Not terrible, but still, how does that happen? The creamy sauce on the side, I didn’t touch it after my first taste.
Arturo T — Google review
The sushi was good but they did not have salmon when we went, which is a main ingredient
Denise Z — Google review
I want to give this place the benefit of the doubt because they are clearly understaffed/unprepared for their happy hour deals (1 server and 1 chef when every table was full), but we were continually disappointed. Although there were great prices for the sushi, drinks are overpriced. For some reason, sushi places in Lima don't seem to give wasabi/ginger with the rolls. After the server said she'd bring us some, she never returned to our table and didn't mention it when we paid our bill (for which we had to wait at the counter since she didn't bring it to us within 20 minutes of finishing our food). We were going to order another roll, but didn't bother when we couldn't get her attention for a while. It felt like she was ignoring tables, as several tables were constantly trying to get her attention and getting frustrated. When we were paying, I noticed those tables that had finished and left hadn't been bussed, but the server didn't seem in any hurry to clean them and it was only halfway through their happy hour special. I don't blame her feeling tired and overwhelmed by the crowd, but their customer service suffers and they are not getting as many customers as they could if they had a second server to get customers in and out faster. Besides the service, though, I was completely underwhelmed by the sushi itself. We ordered 4 different veggie rolls, which each had several ingredients that should have made them unique and flavorful. But for some reason, they all tasted bland. The only flavor that stuck out to me was cream cheese, which isn't really the flavor I want to take away from a sushi dinner.

Kaiyo Rolls - Sushi, Ramen & Cocktails offers delectable rolls, exceptional service in both Spanish and English, a tasteful ambiance, and an overall fantastic dining experience. Their daily special consists of four maki rolls and two glasses of lemonade for a reasonable price of 70 soles. It's an unbeatable deal! The sushi here is not only delicious but also intriguingly unique in style.
The fried chicken was just okay, but the rest of the dishes were really good!

Very nice, small restaurant with excellent service. The food was good, the Asian coffee wings were nicely cooked with a caramel like sauce, the purple samurai rolls were a little tasteless apart from a sweet and creamy sauce but I loved the Dragon balls, beautifully creamy croquettes. All in all, a solid restaurant.

Edo is a sushi restaurant located in Miraflores with some of the best sushi you'll ever taste. The rice wasn't that thick, gooey kind you typically find at cheaper sushi restaurants. The salmon nikkei style was especially amazing and definitely worth trying. The service was always fast and there never seemed to be a wait, which is great considering it's a popular restaurant. The staff are wonderful and really make you feel appreciated as a guest.
Heard this was one of the better sushi restaurants that was on the "affordable" tier and a lot of my Peruvian friends recommended this place. We started off ordering the Granadilla naturales jugo. Then we ordered a few things: Salmon Sashami, Acevechada (filled with breaded shrimp and avocado, covered with slices of tuna, bathed in acevichada sauce, topped with green onion and togarashi), Seiji (filled with breaded fish and avocado, battered in tempura with smoked trout cream, Japanese spicy crispy skin and sweet eel sauce), Pizza (stuffed with breaded shrimp and avocado, covered with cream cheese, flambéed with grill sauce and bathed in sweet sauce with a touch of tenkatsu) and the Edo (stuffed with breaded shrimp and avocado, topped with tenkatsu, grilled squid with butter, togarashi and garlic bathed in sweet eel sauce). My favorite roll was the Acevechada, this was amazing, the sauce was the best part. One of my favorite restaurants in Lima.

Wow wow wow I came here with our family and we love it!! The food recommendation was excelent. We order the combo and then the appetizers were also great!! Highly recommend it. The staff was really helpful in helping me choose the best plates.
Yovana M — Google review
I came in with fairly low expectations, especially after a disappointing experience at a fancier sushi spot like Matsuei — but I was very pleasantly surprised. The traditional sushi offerings (nigiri and sashimi) were superb: the rice was perfectly cooked and seasoned, the fish was fresh, and the portions and prices were more than reasonable. They also provide an oshibori (a moist towel to clean your hands), which was a thoughtful nod to traditional sushi etiquette — though it would’ve been even nicer if it were warm. Service was friendly and down-to-earth, without any of the snobbery you sometimes encounter at upscale sushi places. I also tried the seafood hot plate, which was decent but not especially memorable. Stick to the sushi — you won’t be disappointed.
Mandy T — Google review
It might seem this is a conflicting review. However, it's not because the service can be good, but the food not necessarily great. This is especially the case with the sushi. The makis have too much rice and too compacted. They also use too much cream cheese which does not make sense (in my humble opinion). Sushi should not have cream cheese. I can accept that one item can be the traditional Philadelphia roll, which is an USA food, not a Japanese. The heaviness of cream cheese diminishes and undermine the delicate flavors of the restaurant if the ingredients. The ambiance is beautiful with a clear japanese touch, and the personnel were courteous and attentive. Very crowded restaurant.

We arrived at 7 with no reservation and we’re put in a corner of an empty restaurant- it soon filled up - but it was soooooooo noisy. There is loud music and it doesn’t help that there is nothing to muffle ambient noise. The food is good but not great for the price - the sushi rice is not quite right texture. The waitress had to be reminded 3 times about water I ordered and I had to ask twice for a glass - I don’t think a staff member smiled at any point - it was very officious and brisk but not at all warm and welcoming. I left with a sore throat having to speak so loud to be heard over the background noise. Expensive for what feels like a canteen vibe.

Delicious!!! All the plates were really good, the sea shells are a must if you come, try the katayaki sautéed tenderloin and the Mount Fuji for dessert, they were absolutely amazing. HANZO Restaurante is a Peruvian sushi establishment that holds a special place in the hearts of many. While some may find the taste to be inexpensive compared to higher quality sushi options, HANZO offers a variety of reasonably priced dishes with generous portions. The freshness and natural flavor of their ginger is particularly noteworthy. Additionally, patrons can enjoy a Cusquena dark beer alongside their meal.
Very Japanese. Delicious teriyaki beef with sesame seeds. There were many beautiful items on the menu worth trying.

The food was outstanding, but the overall service was superior above anything I've had in Lima so far (14 days). As soon as they opened, they brought me in and immediately seated me. The waiter brought me an English menu without me even asking. The waiter was also extremely attentive and was constantly scanning his tables from a distance. Go for the food but stay for the service 😏
Allen H — Google review
First restaurant we tried after landing in Lima. The flavors were hard to describe — it wasn’t Japanese, but more of a fusion between Peruvian and Chinese cuisine, leaning toward a sweeter taste. The service was quick and friendly. Even though we only spoke English, the staff did their best to accommodate us and made the experience enjoyable.
Debby D — Google review
Beautiful restaurant but unfortunately was not satisfied with my omakase. Wife was not impressed with her ceviche and my wasabi cocktail was very strange, literally tasted like they only put pre-made wasabi in my drink and mixed it. Prices almost the same as USA but the only thing good were nigiris, and I only got 4. For a nikkei experience, in my opinion it didn't deliver and it was far from the nikkei food I had on my previous trips to Lima. More like 2.5 stars but service was great and perhaps other dishes were better. Extremely expensive for what I got.

Very cool vibe. Low key. Full disclosure - this is Perú sushi vs American. You get massive amounts of ginger, No wasabi but you get an amazing garlic and fish sauce. Some things come cooked vs raw. Waiter was attentive but didn’t rush us at all. Definitely a do over!

The Nagoya Restaurante Nikkei Sushi Bar offers excellent cuisine with impressive presentation. Their sushi and makis are among the finest in the area, showcasing their culinary expertise. The drinks and desserts they serve are of top-notch quality, elevating the dining experience. Service is commendable as well. However, there are a couple of drawbacks worth mentioning. Firstly, the blaring loud American rap music disrupts the Japanese theme and hampers conversations.
this is my 3rd time coming here for all you can eat Nikkei sushi bar from tiradito my favorite, to ceviche and other items. this time I brought my son and absolutely love it. the expertise and flavors are amazing. the chefs are very good in what they do. will come back again if you are in lima you cannot miss this place in Surco try all you can eat, or they have a la carte as well. for 109 soles is worth every penny.

Not a good experience. Hostess forced us to sit in an uncomfortable spot at the bar, citing a large group reservation that never showed up. There were 12 spot available, we counted. I see that this is an issue with previous reviews and do not expect this place to improve. Food was adequate but not at the level advertised, not good price per value.

Restaurante Oceanika is a fantastic eatery that specializes in unlimited Peruvian-Japanese makis. With a diverse selection of rolls, endless soda refills, and certain dessert choices, it's truly an extraordinary offer. Customers can also enjoy a complimentary bottle of beer alongside various cocktails and main courses. The "all you can eat" option is especially noteworthy for its incredible value, although leaving room for the included sweet treat might be challenging.
This is one of the best buffets of makis (sushi rolls) I've had so far. I recommend not to eat anything at all in the morning or something really light, that way you can have more room for makis in your stomach :p they have a wide variety of makis, and you can also get free non-alcoholic drinks (but you get 1 Budweiser at least). In the buffet is included makis (obviously), chicken wings, yakimeshi (rice with a good taste), and skewers. I recomend to get these makis: acevichado and seiji. I think they are my top ones, but there are a lot more I really enjoyed, like parrillero, lomo saltado, New fusión, extravaganza, etc. Way too many makis I ate. I went there with 6 more friends, and we ended up eating 360 makis. And when you are done with makis, for dessert ask for the tempura, so good! We only ordered 10 of those, but it was so good that at the end we ate 40. One of the best places to eat makis in Lima.

Great restaurant for all-you-can-eat Peruvian-Japanese makis (sushi rolls). It offers a wide variety of options for rolls, unlimited soft drinks refill, and some types of dessert. One bottle of beer is also included. Cocktails and other main courses are also available.

Peruvian sushi. They have an " all you can eat" option that is a great deal. You probably won't have space for the included dessert!

Not bad for an all you can eat...
Angel P — Google review
This sushi restaurant is well known for their ‘all you can eat’ promotions. They've more than 20 kinds of maki rolls (though not all of them were available when I went) and the ones that I tried were delicious. On the other hand, the attention wasn't as good as I expected. It took some time to get me noticed by the waiter and he was not as friendly as I've seen in other sushi restaurants.
Francisco S — Google review
Big spacious place, a reasonably priced all-you-can-eat that includes juice, soda, water or beer as refreshments and a large selection of makis with a sizeable vegetarian spread. The only downside is how out of the way it is from the main city avenues, as I prefer public transportation to get around. But, besides that I think it's a great place to go with a group of friends.
EMYS — Google review
This place its just off the chain! Gotta take advantage of the buffet, but just make sure u are really hungry!! Love this place for lunch way better, the dinner experience the music it's just way to loud and annoying, can't talk nor hear your friends

Matsuei is a legendary restaurant in Lima, known for its deep history and as the first sushi bar to open in the city in 1973. It has been a pioneer of Nikkei food, with culinary legends like Nobuyuki Matsuhisa and Toshiro Konishi leaving their mark on the menu. The restaurant is lauded for its international standard of food and exceptional service.
If you’re a sushi lover in Lima, Matsuei should be at the top of your list. This place has a long-standing reputation, and it absolutely lives up to it. We came for the sushi—and left completely impressed. What Stood Out • The Sushi Every piece was expertly prepared, beautifully presented, and full of clean, fresh flavors. The fish quality was exceptional—melt-in-your-mouth good. We ordered a variety of nigiri and rolls, and there wasn’t a single miss. • Attention to Detail • Efficient, Courteous Service The staff was attentive without being intrusive. They made great recommendations and ensured a smooth, relaxed dining experience. Final Word Matsuei delivers some of the best sushi in Lima—no gimmicks, just high-quality ingredients and expert technique. It’s the kind of place that honors tradition while consistently delivering on flavor and freshness. Would we go back? Absolutely. Rating: ★★★★★
Gary P — Google review
We were very excited to try the sushi here. We went for a late lunch and we're surprised at the doors were locked upon arrival. Luckily somebody opened them up because we were starving. We decided to order the premium sushi pack (boat) for four which was an assortment of assortment of nigiri and maki (rolls). The tuna here was maybe the best I've ever had but all the other cuts of fish and the rolls were a bit average.
Ryan N — Google review
This is the best Japanese restaurant in Mira Flores in my opinion. One of the best salmon sashimi I have ever tasted in my life, and the ramen was also top notch. I've traveled to Japan 3 times, so I know what I'm talking about. A must try if you're in the area!
Gundam M — Google review
Extremely mediocre sushi with lackluster service. I ordered the moriawase — the chef’s choice of 16 pieces of nigiri — and while the fish was fresh, the rice completely ruined the experience. Each piece was overstuffed with rice that felt straight out of an “all you can eat” sushi buffet in the U.S.: overly vinegared, overcooked, and packed into a dense, sticky clump. The texture was more like Southeast Asian sticky rice — heavy and gummy — rather than the light, airy, subtly sweet-and-sour sushi rice that forms the foundation of great nigiri. Because yes, great sushi is fundamentally about the rice — not just the fish. Any sushi chef will tell you that. I get that this isn’t Japan, and I don’t expect the chefs here to have undergone years of “rice apprenticeship”. But I did expect something better than gas station/shopping mall sushi, especially since the sushi selections had no real “fusion” angle to fall back on as an excuse for lack of authenticity. I did try one fusion dish — the udon carbonara — which was decent, but forgettable. It was also laughably small for a main dish, more like a tapas portion. The ambiance is upscale and refined, but the energy is dead. The staff didn’t seem like they wanted to be there. They wore Japanese samue robes and tossed around phrases like “irasshai” and “hai,” which just felt forced and cringey. So what is this place trying to be — a traditional sushi-ya or a modern fusion spot? It doesn’t commit to either, and in the end, it misses the mark on both.
Mandy T — Google review
The sushi here is excellent, but the service left a lot to be desired and significantly detracted from the experience. We had reserved for the bar area on Friday, Sept 19, since the rest of the restaurant was said to be fully booked. Upon arrival, we were seated in the bar area, which was clearly inferior to both the main dining space and the sushi bar itself. What was frustrating is that walk-ins without reservations were seated at better tables and even at the bar. When we asked our waitress about moving, she dismissed us quickly, insisting nothing was available, even though the bar was half empty. Only after my girlfriend approached a different staff member were we immediately offered a much better table in the main dining area. Our waitress never apologized until the very end, when the bill (and her tip) was on the table. This kind of attitude is unacceptable for a restaurant that positions itself as high-end. If you’re charging premium prices, the service should reflect that, not leave paying guests feeling ignored or misled. To be fair, other staff members were excellent: the hostess, for instance, noticed a fishbone in our sushi and replaced the plate without hesitation, even though we had already eaten half. The sushi itself is of very high quality. But ultimately, a fine restaurant is not just about food: it’s also about hospitality.
Tim C — Google review
I was looking forward to this place since I heard this is where the known Acevichado roll was created. We had a reservation and we were 4 people. We got some of the sashimi recommended by the server and they were good, I think just one blew our mind. Then we tried the acevichado roll but it was ok, the sauce was good but the roll itself was too thick. Also, we got the Matsuei roll and we enjoyed that one. We ordered another roll recommended by the server, which was the Tartar, and that one was good too. The rolls are good size. The food was all right, the only thing that bothered me a little was that the server recommendations were pretty expensive. We don’t live here so for dollars is fine but for someone coming from some other places in South America, it can get pretty pricey, plus he was kind of pushy. Also, they have an open kitchen so you will end up smelling like food.

Tanuki is a must-visit for Asian noodle soup and sushi enthusiasts in Lima. The restaurant offers a great deal on a combo of noodle soup and sushi rolls, making it an excellent choice for those craving Asian flavors. Customers highly recommend the Udon with prawn tempura and rave about the extraordinary gyozas. The tonkotsu ramen is also praised for its excellence and generous portion size at a good price.
Fortunately, we were the only one in the restaurant so everything went very smooth. Very good food awesome waiter.

I went to this place over 3 years ago several times during the pandemic and years before and it was under different ownership and actually I preferred it more then. It's a personal preference I suppose I just like the layout more before. The sashimi for example, if you order two different kinds like I did (tuna and salmon) they came on the same board here separately like two different entrees and the pieces are much bigger they could be cut either for the individual or to share. Send many use chopsticks you need to order a knife to cut it. The raw fish came with one that was not real cold and the other one came out like it just been frozen. The inconsistencies were a turn-off for me. Now the positives I ordered one of the few higher protein. Low carbohydrate dishes without added sugar with mixed vegetables and pieces of white fish cut into it. I recalled something very similar under the prior owners and I really liked it! It was an ample portion and I ended up taking half of it home which I enjoyed that evening. Service was friendly but the soy sauce was forgotten and there never seems to be enough napkins 😂. Place is nice. We asked for Ebi Tempura, Soba y Tokotsu Ramen. Ebi Tempura and Soba were really nice (7/10) But Tonkutsu Ramen was not hot and when we asked why it is like this, they take the plate and give it back same plate after 2 minutes. So just they put to the microwave!!!!! :( This not the way to offer this type of Ramen.

The combo of one noodle soup (ramen, soba or udon) + 6 rolls of Florida rolls (avocado + salmon) costs S. 29 is a very good deal, available all day. I tried three types of noodles and like Udon with the prawn tempura the most. Recommended for who has a crave for an Asian noodle soup.

The Yerba Luisa and lychee beverage at Edo Sushi Bar Jockey Plaza was disappointing due to the addition of a lime edge, which imparted a bitter taste. This resulted in the loss of freshness from the Yerba Luisa and the subtle sweetness of the lychee, transforming it into a lemonade-like drink with an unwanted lime flavor.
Don’t try the Yerba Luisa and lychee. They added an edge of lime into the lychee. The edge had a skin which made the drink bitter. The freshness of the Yerba Luisa and the slight sweetness of the lychee were gone, they tried to decorate the cup with the lime edge but instead, it was added into the drink and made the skin taste of the lime edge into the Yerba Luisa & lychee drink a “lemonade”. As for the sushi, it was great, I will go again to repeat our choices, as shown in the pictures, and probably switch the Yerba Luisa & lychee lemonade with the green tea & granadilla….hopefully it will not have another decoration of a lime.

Yume - Sushi & Bar - Surco is a highly regarded sushi restaurant in Lima with a contemporary ambiance and welcoming staff. The menu offers a variety of dishes, including the popular Nagiri Conchitas Parme and Cani and Hoi sushi rolls. The Acevichado Clasico is also recommended. One of my favorite sushi restaurants in Lima, I always order the same. I can get tired of the Nagiri Conchitas Parme, and the sushi pictures are Cani and Hoi; Acevichado Clasico was also good. The price is good compared to the quality of the food and service.

Went here with my husband on Saturday night. We were greeted nicely by the girl at the front and were quickly seated. This is a funny place because all of their dishes are "special". While it is nice to have variety and unconventional choices, I still want at least some standard fare. Very good place the only thing they don't have that say professionalism like here in America, so let me tell you, the food was good it was a lot that price was like what the round 450 local currency around $150, USD, I always tip over 25%, the people were nice but times were good, but our server keeps on disappearing every 3 sec, so it's pretty bad when I was waiting for so long for a couple dishes, some meals took forever to come, drinks took a while to, the guy that was supposed to let's say take the payment was not my server, like if you have to go to high school or a professional institution just to take payments, was the weirdest stuff in the world it was a little bit frustrating because for some reason here in Peru people like the server so the bartenders don't like to hold conversations, I came with my family for crying out loud it wasn't like intimidating we were like fairy chill and relax, that's one of my cousins has a very high position in government, doesn't mean that you have to be intimidated mostly when I'm paying the bill, I'm an American, you know how we is here in the south, and some things just really disappointed me, that is okay I will come back, a hundred percent the only thing is that next year I'm going to be coming back with a lot of people way too many I think and they're not flexible at say like that, for example they only can take for like average meal for five or four people but they don't know how to calculate a y wanted for 10 or 11 people are kids it's just a little bit frustrating that they cannot understand that when one person is pay, and the other thing is at kids barely eat I'm okay paying for the kids but still it's just ridiculous that they don't how to split that. Or take reservations it's just like science them, I never know if my server got the tips, I'm very good like 20 bucks maybe more. I'm pretty bad with this local currency. Because I have to tip the hibachi guy as well, so hopefully next year is going to be better, I can give them a whole five star.

If you're on the hunt for authentic Japanese sushi and sashimi in Peru, look no further than Makoto Sushi Bar. Unlike many local spots that lean towards fusion styles with sweet sauces, Makoto stays true to traditional flavors while also offering a few creative twists. The atmosphere is relaxed and perfect for enjoying a meal with friends or family, especially if you opt for the delightful "Makoto bridge," which allows you to sample a variety of dishes.
Nice food. The Japanese omelette was something unique I had never seen before.

The waiter gave me a great suggestion. They were very flexible and switched out a few options on my plate for others. Very peaceful. The sushi was soo good!
Jocelyn N — Google review
It has been hard for me to find Japanese sushi and sashimi. Most of the sushi restaurants in Peru are a fusion (nikei), with overly sweet eel sauces and alike. Makoto remains true to the Japanese sushi, and offers if you want to try, a few fusion pieces. The prices are moderate for peruvian standard, but if you are in the mood for sushi (makis), I recommend to try Makoto over Edo or Mr. Sushi.

Ceviche was delicious but nothing else really is tbh :( but you have to alternate hot and cold dishes so you can't just straight up eat ceviche he entire time. Yuquitas incredibly blame and undercooked, and they drizzle this weird sweet molasses tasting sauce over literally everything even though it really shouldn't be on salty things.

(Translated by Google) A complete disappointment. I do not recommend it under any circumstances. I ordered makis and it was honestly a joke. The food was horrible. The avocado was black, the rice looked like anything but sushi rice, and the taste was so bad it makes it seem like they have no idea what they are doing. The worst: the filling. A pittance! Each maki had barely an centimeter of filling, and several did not even have fish. When I opened them to at least take advantage of what little they had, I realized that it was an almost invisible band-aid of something that could barely be identified. The sauce was basically watered down mayonnaise, no fun, no flavor. And on top of that it took them more than an hour to deliver the order. Unacceptable no matter how you look at it. It outrages me that there are people who say: “It's just that you get it like this only through delivery.” Please! What kind of excuse is that? Does one pay less for ordering delivery? Or is it justified in delivery to send rubbish? The food must be the same inside or outside the restaurant. That justification is nonsense that only demonstrates conformity. And the worst thing is that it wasn't the first time. I had eaten at the restaurant before and it was just as bad. Even so, I decided to give them another chance because I saw that they had changed locations and staff. Serious mistake. Nothing has improved. They are always changing personnel, and that shows in the total lack of quality. The atmosphere in the restaurant is also terrible, neglected.

(Translated by Google) I went with my family, they had a combo and I had an open bar for this s/. 28. The food was good, the only problem was the maki tartar taste was different than when I order for delivery. The service was good, although they should add a waiter, I went on a Saturday and there was only one waitress and there were more people which delayed the delivery of the meals. They give dessert to the birthday boy!! And the impeccable atmosphere. (Original) Fui con mi familia ellos combo y yo por barra libre esta s/. 28. Sushi restaurant Yume - Sushi & Bar - Miraflores is a great place to enjoy fresh sushi. The service is always excellent and the prices can't be beat. If you're looking for a delicious and affordable meal, this is definitely the place to go!
We stumbled upon this place while roaming the city on a late Friday night like a pack of hyenas. The staff welcomed us and they put up with our limited Spanish with a smile. We were lucky as we got the only table left. Although the place was packed, the food arrived quickly and every bite was a dream. The makis are very innovative as they combine Peruvian flavours in Japanese packaging. We were so satisfied that we also went a second time the next night, which we rarely do, to try the rest!

Best sushi I’ve ever had, crazy fair prices, laid back and simple vibe. Unique takes on sushi that are incredible
Will D — Google review
So far, since my point of view, the best sushi restaurant in Lima. The combination of flavors that go far away from the classic ones, the attentive service and the nice environment made this place one of my favorite. Hope to be back soon. The prices are definitely justified. We went early, just when the restaurant opened, and the service was fast.
Denisse Z — Google review
It was pretty good. They do have pickled ginger you need to ask in Japanese though? A fair warning the acevichado and creamy rolls are bathed in cold cream sauce. The ordering was kind of complicated, because some of it was Japanese words, some Spanish like they would use the Japanese word for fried shrimp which makes ordering a bit complicated. They could mark the sweet maki on the menu as well. Everyone seemed to be a little confused on the prices and what they were making, there was no drink menu for example. But I got huge chunks of sashimi which I was happy about. The Chef's made whatever in the end for my maki though. 🫠

I love Yume on Benavides, so I decided to come by this new place they opened on Miraflores. It’s a lot smaller than the original but nicely done. The food was good but I still feel like the OG Yume on Benavides takes this one. If you are in Miraflores by all means drop by this place, and you’ll enjoy it. Our favorites were the crispy rice with salmon tartare on top (that’s how I would describe it). And the crunchy tuna taco. I usually order nigiris and sashimi but on this trip I wanted to try the typical or more commercial items (the did not disappoint at all).
전Will — Google review
The menu was very extensive but we ordered the basics as that just shows the freshness and detail of the chef. They had only 3 types of fish so we stuck with the salmon and avocado makis. The rolls were standard in both size, taste and flavor. I would’ve liked a bit more of the Japanese vinegar flavor in the rice. We also ordered the gyoza, one pan friend and the other deep fried. I’d recommend these as a side order if you’re going with hungry kids as these were the first cooked food to come out. (Of course the sushi maki came out fastest). We also ordered the gyudon which took the longest time to be served, not sure why. Presentation was good and it was quite tasty, I’d also recommend ordering this as a filler although you have to ask them for this first or you’ll end up waiting more than 30 mins for it like us). The kids were most disappointed that there was no miso soup (an important accompaniment to sushi and any Japanese food usually) and the deduction on one star for the service is because the ladies seemed slow to understand our needs. We had to ask for cups for water, ask for spoons when the rice came etc. They seemed reluctant to bring it out for guest use, maybe an instruction from the boss… I saw that a few diners ordered the seared sushi which might be the thing to try if there is a next time. Restaurant environment is basic and we got a table by the window which is nice, with a clean toilet which is very good. So 5 stars for that.

(Translated by Google) Food I ordered Acevichado and Furai makis to go: In both, the rice was overcooked, not inedible, but it felt like it had been made the day before and was dry and overcooked. I don't know if this is what maki rice should be like, but I don't think so. I expected it to be milder, at least. I loved the blend of flavors in the furai maki over the acevichado. I didn't know the latter was spicy (my misinformation), but I did like the furai. However, they didn't put much smoked trout in this one; I only noticed the trout when I was eating the third slice of maki. I was pleased that they delivered them warm, because who knows, they might give you pre-made makis that someone didn't bring, etc. Note: The lady at the counter was very friendly. They even have a tip toy on the counter (a dog that moves when you leave a coin), which is so cute. It made my day.

There are plenty of better options in Lima. The food seems clean and decent quality, but not very inventive. We had the spring rolls and garlic edamame to start, then a set of Maki and the tempura / portobello mushrooms. My overall rating of this place is it’s OK. The service was great. Isushi is a popular maki place in Lima, known for its great attention and delicious food. Some favorite makis include Tefo, Lomo Saltado, Parmesano Hot, Carbonara, and Acevichado Furai. It's a go-to spot for those craving good makis at reasonable prices. However, it can get busy after 1 pm on weekends so arriving early is recommended. The Surco location doesn't have parking but there are free parking options nearby.
Love this maki place; the attention is great, and the food is always good. Favorite makis are Tefo, Lomo Saltado, Parmesano Hot, Carbonara, and obviously Acevichado Furai. One of the places to go in Lima if you are craving some good makis for a good price. If you plan to visit for lunchtime on the weekends, get there before 1 because it gets busy after that. Don't set your expectations too high! Food is decent, but the service is mediocre. The "all you can eat experience" shouldn't be served in tens, but rather in fives. Because if you experiment with a choice, and you happen not to like it... YOU HAVE TO EAT 9 MORE ROLLS OF IT. Otherwise, you'd have to pay for them. (S/2 each) Best roll was "salmon tartar".

If you had sushi in Japan or USA, this is the place to go. Their restaurants are cozy and true to sushi food. Their selection, though for the most past a japanese-peruvian (Nikei) fusion, is very good both in variety and flavor. Their sushi is very good, and I've yet to be disappointed by Edo. They also have rice and traditional plates like katsu and tonkatsu dishes. Sadly they don't have Japanese curry, but all is forgiven due to their selection and taste of their food.

I was super disappointed by this place - as the last dinner place after 14 days trip at Peru. In general I feel the food here is amazing and we had dinner at a couple of other Japanese restaurants during the trip and this one is THE worst, even though it has pretty high ranking on TripAdvisor. Sashimi came in tiny pieces and most of the sushi and rolls were extremely salty. Plus they don't even have all the food listed on their menu - actually missing a lot of them. We were just trying to find a place for our last dinner here and was not too far away from the airport but we didn't finish even half of the food.

This place is awful. It took them 30 minutes to bring out food even though there were only two other groups of people in the restaurant. The ingredients they used were terrible quality. The cream cheese was really bad quality and tasted rancid. If you're gonna go, just don't order anything with cream cheese in it. The only one I liked was "Ilusion" it had breaded shrimp and avocado inside, was topped with a thin slice of fish and covered in teriyaki sauce. That one was good because it had no cream cheese in it. I ordered 5 other types and they all had cream cheese and I had to take it out and throw it away because it was so disgusting.

(Translated by Google) The place is small (located on the second floor) but cozy. The service that day was average, I would like to think that it was due to the number of people there were in the establishment, so it took a while to get the service and there was disorder in the delivery of the orders, in terms of the flavor, the wings and the makis were very pleasant (except for three options that did not convince us). The price of the open bar is 41.00 soles, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, if I'm not mistaken, and if you plan to pay by card, you should go to the cashier.

We took the all you can eat sushi Wich includes first course 2 sushi rolls and dessert . Once you finish the first 2 rolls that you orders you can order as many rolls as you want but keep in mind that for each peace you don't finish ther is a 2.5 sol penalty. Be aware that the penalty starts already from the first 2 rools ordered. The service is fast and kind and the sushi is very good as well.
Adi C — Google review
The meal costs 45 soles per person and includes an appetizer for each person, a drink, a dessert for each person, and unlimited sushi. There is a minimum of 2 rolls (10 pieces) per person, and you must finish them before ordering more rolls for the table. For every unfinished piece, there’s a 2.5-sol penalty. The meal was very tasty, and the service was friendly. For appetizers, the wings and crispy fish fingers are recommended. The dessert was below average (a scoop of ice cream in a cup). The sushi itself was very tasty and filling.

Grate food and service, a bit too much rice in the sushi

Had the open buffet sushi for 45 sol. Good food especially for the price. Recommend to ask less sauce on the sushi because it can be sweet, the koi roll was a bit intense and sweet for me, overall good experience.

(Translated by Google) At NORI We tried the unlimited Nori maki bar. Very delicious, the truth is that with the 2nd table I was already satisfied, the third table was already gluttony. But very rich Bring 2 large soft drinks + 1 starter + 1 dessert = 55 The passion fruit soda was very sweet but we solved it. They must be careful with the attention, although they were very kind, they took a while to bring us some things like more sauce or soft drinks. At several times the entire staff went into the kitchen and although we called them they did not listen. 😔 We had to get closer so they would realize that we needed them.

Because with the 20 servings of two flavors I was hooked hahahaha and I would have liked to try more variety. The acevichado fell apart a little, but it had a good flavor. The truth is, I would return but, this time without breakfast and lunch hahahahaha. (Original) Me encantó el sabor, pero me hubiera gustado que cada entrega de barra libre sea menos cantidad... (Translated by Google) The business has just opened. They have an exclusive maki menu (tables of 10 units between S./17.00 and 20.00 on average). Soon they will expand variety with shashimi and other products. I liked their attention, I like that they deliver a paper bag to take away (the packaging is still plastic, they could replace it with cardboard). We must take care of the environment, especially the new generations! The place is small and on a busy avenue. Maybe it's not so pleasant to stay to eat there, but they serve quickly and diligently. (Translated by Google) The food is good. But the prices are excessive for the quantity... The service, honestly, leaves a lot to be desired. I couldn't finish a dish or a drink, and even when they were already taking it away from the table, I asked several questions and they barely responded with the same apathy. In short... The food is delicious, but it's not worth the price or the service.

(Translated by Google) My favorite maki place in North Lima, by far. Update 2023: But... Punctuality is not its greatest virtue. This is the third time they have disappointed me (once for a store pickup that took almost two hours and two other occasions for not opening at the time indicated on their schedule), a shame because you should not play with customers' expectations. Improve that point or update your schedules with what you can really accomplish.
