Sashimi are fresh, uni are fresh, but the seaweed was not so crispy. Sushi are normal. Shabushabu is good, the beef is in good quality. But best part is the beverage, tried a few kind alchols, umeshu is the best. MUST TRY!!!

Just had the most amazing sushi experience! The food was incredibly fresh and tasted absolutely delicious, I swear. The service was super speedy, and the staff were all really friendly and helpful, which made it even better. The atmosphere was also really cozy and inviting, so I felt comfortable. Plus, there was free ice cream – total bonus!

We stayed 1 night in the Bangkok Novotel airport hotel and figured we could also have a nice dinner at the Kinsen Japanese restaurant. Whilst the hotel was a top notch experience, I found the restaurant subpar. As a starter I had the seaweed salad which consisted of a big bowl of 2 types of seaweed mixed with plain iceberg salad. It wasn’t nicely made up either. The ramen noodle soup consisted mainly of chopped onion and carrot. There was some nori and 2 pieces of mushroom. Tasteless and overpriced. Whilst the restaurant is nicely decorated and it seems they want to convey an authentic Japanese atmosphere by having the waitresses wear kimonos - they put on an 80’s Greatest Hits playlist as background pop music. Silly!

Nice Yakiniku buffet not far from the city. I choose 899 package and i think the quality of food is reasonable. Sushi is in very good quality, fish is really fresh. Meat quality is also great but not good as high end restuarant. The bad point is the small area and table sometime it not enough to place all food on the table and there is a lot of smell from food in the air.

There is a lot of variety of food but the quality does not match up with the price. The seafood is a bit smelly and meat is too hard to chew. The service is great and serving is fast. The dessert is mostly out of stock.

TL;DR not worth your money at all. - Service is ok - Food quality is just the worst (especially beef) - Food preparation is bad too (most of the sashimi are not properly cut and very thick compared to other restaurant) - Overall atmosphere is kinda bad (Noise from vent is disturbing and very loud) - COCKROACH Jr. was found on the table!!

This review is for the location at seen space Thonglor. Probably one of the worse AYCE place I've ever been to. None of the seafood we ordered are fresh. Oysters, shrimp, crab... you name it. You see in the photos below. What you see in the menu is NOT what you'll be getting on your plate. The amount of rice in the rolls is just ridiculous!!! I'm usually pretty good about finishing my food at AYCE places. This is the first time I'm choosing to not eat any more of this stuff. I should've read the reviews before walking into the restaurant. This was a simple bait and switch. I walked by the restaurant, took a look at the menu. It looked pretty good... but I was tricked. Because out of everything I ordered today, only about 10% of the food actually looks like how it looks in the menu. Don't say I didn't warn you. Save yourself ฿700 and literally eat anywhere else but here!

I’ve tried this buffet before at a different branch, and I’m happy to say the food quality at this location is just as good, fresh ingredients, quick service, and a wide variety to choose from. This time, I went for the Platinum Package (899++), which is the minimum tier that includes foie gras. With this package, you can enjoy both Suki and Shabu. I forgot to take a photo of the Shabu, unfortunately! The foie gras was a real highlight, juicy, rich, and cooked just right to bring out its full flavor. I loved it so much I ordered it multiple times throughout the meal. My friends and I actually ordered quite a lot of beef, but in the moment of enjoying everything, I forgot to take photos of most of it, same with many other dishes we tried. Here are a few highlights I did remember: - The sushi was served in just the right portion. - The sashimi was fresh and nicely cut. - The oysters were fresh, though a bit thin and not as juicy as I’d prefer. - The fried soft-shell crab was a little salty and came in a bigger portion than expected, I ordered it while waiting for dessert and it's portion was quite shocked me😂. - Desserts were excellent. The Bingsu had an ice texture like fine snow, packed with flavor. And of course, the Häagen-Dazs ice cream was a treat, as always. Travel Tip: I almost got lost because my GPS kept changing the route! The safest way to get there is to drive straight along Sukhumvit Road and turn left after Sukhumvit 107. Since this restaurant is located inside a mall, there’s plenty of parking, but don’t forget to get your ticket stamped for free parking.

I have been to many Shabu shops throughout bkk, but this one is the best. Wagyu sushi is amazing, the shrimp are perfect, and the drinks are good. Peach and lychee tea was 😍😍😍

I have to go for top buffet price as I love Unagi tho I don’t eat beef but the problem is they give more rice which I asked not to but said NO, staff are quite impolite. Got membership card tho it doesn’t save me more just to eat Unagi (Eel) here. Anyway I wish I would have more option and I visit often here as stay very near to Jazz. 🙂

Gyu Kaku Japanese BBQ was a good time. Due to being a huge fan of the chain and comparing it to it's other locations in America and Japan, I think this would come in 3rd against those other 2 based on food options. The service was amazing here as it was super fast and friendly. The atmosphere was pretty relaxful for dinner time. Moderate/respectful chatter volume, so very tolerable. The food was still pretty good don't get me wrong! Just not a huge selection as I would expect. I had the Japanese Wagyu selection as meat is my go to every time. Very good cuts of meat and generous servings per order. Thank you for the time Gyu Kaku 😃🙏

When they made a table for me I thanked them and they replied 'ur not even supposed to have this table bc u were more than 15min late'. Okay .....lady we were 10min late, the policy says 15min late is allowed. They replied " that's not what the clock at our place said". Okay...but you realized we stood there waiting for like 5-10min for them to sort things about cause they gave our table away. We checked the clock, it's was 1min off. 😒 No one informed us of last order time. We focus on the big 21:23.c the staff approach us 'last order now'. I asked them isn't it at 21:23? The staff replied, no you already went over time...bc it's at 20:53. Okay sorry but I'm the ONLY THAI AMONG 2 FOREIGNER friend. We don't mind being told it's last order but maybe more nicely??? And not, you went over time, last order now. 😔 It was a really bad experience, honestly please please please avoid it due to rude STAFF :(

Yakiniku restaurant loacted in Thaniya alley, opposite to Thaniya plaza. There are many branches of this restaurant around bangkok but this branch has the best taste of food in my opinion. My favourite dish was Salted Harami beef. Karubi beef was also good but I couldn’t have too much because of it’s too oily. Having beef with sesame oil spinach was good matches. Scallop was also great. For dessert, I recommend to have vanilla ice cream with grilled sweet potato. The restaurant had few waitress that makes the service was not good enough. The area was too small and air condition was quite too hot.

Terrible experience! From the menu, this place could have so much more potential, but when you set foot in this restaurant, it starts to change. The floor and the table were so sticky, the waitress didn't seem to care about the service. Ordered 700++ buffet - the quality not worth the money. The most disappointing thing is when we ask to change the grill, the waitress provides us with another dirty grill. You can see in the picture that the middle of the grill still contained the burnt mark. decided not to eat after that. Trust me that there are better and cleaner restaurants for the same price in Bangkok.

Not Recommended! We bought $729 THD Buffet/ pax, not include tax and service fee, and also not include any water ("tea" was asked for $35 THD/ pax, tasteless, like plain water). The meat's quality of same dish dropped a lot, compared to the initial dishes served to us. The worst Japanese restaurant I have been to in the entire world. Service took 30 minutes to serve Wakame, a ready to eat seaweed that should be just in a bowl to serve already; Gyozas arrived after 30 minutes cold, not properly seared and probably waiting after being cooked for at least 10 minutes, the 380baht Chirashidon ($12 usd) arrived in 40 minutes looking limpy and unfresh, and even when I got the bill after 1 hour in the restaurant the sushi hasn't arrived yet. Restaurant was less than half full, really wonder how service could run at full capacity. Picture 2 shows the food of another visitor not cleared after 1 hour. It smells of being unorganised and improperly manage. The sad thing is, the food doesn't taste terrible and I'd probably have nothing to say just won't visit again because of the expensive prices for a second time. The owners seem to know that, and seeked to deliver the worst first and last experience ever to all unassuming diners. 0/10.

Buffet food quality is not good anymore comparing with earlier years. It seems to serve not fresh cooked food rather use old cooked material. Today we order dolly grilled fish but fish served with very thin & dried and small piece like it was over cook. :-( We used to ordered had better here. We used to have good experience at the beginning time the restaurant just open. But now the quality is not consistency. If not improve, we can find more better Japanese restaurants in other places. Just only drive for few minutes. Please check and control your food quality. Customer knows what are good & fresh, what are old.:-(

I wish I could comment on the food... it never came after 45 minutes whereas the retaurant was almost empty... maybe 2 or 3 tables occupied. This rsstaurant used to be good it us going dowm the drain. Go somewhere else.

The food was nice and atmosphere was great with the live band next door. We had highball and beer and cocktails! Staff were friendly and passionate! Right at the corner of the road very accessible and easy to locate! Opens till 2am and really great for late hang!
