A great little atmospheric café with delicious coffee and lots of souvenirs – cups, sweets, cookies, and other take-home products. Definitely a spot you’ll enjoy. You can get here in under 10 minutes on foot from the Arena, and from here it’s just a short walk to the nearby square and basically a stone’s throw to Juliet’s house. A really good strategic stop.

I went twice in one day it was so good! They were kind and patient with my speaking Italian and even said brava! The pistachio cornetto was delicious and the cappuccino with soy milk was perfect. I felt the prices were great too! This will be my daily visit for my 9 days in Verona.

Will always get my coffee here. Latte macchiato’s are delicious. Staff were excellent, so nice, polite and friendly-definitely makes a difference.

Please try the raspberry croissant and pistachio croissant!! They were fantastic. This is a small charming caffe with a hustle and bustle atmosphere. We have been back four times and have no complaints. The coffee is delicious and the staff and brilliant. If you are looking for an easy breakfast I recommend both for takeaway and eating in.

This is a cute little shop. Only a couple tiny tables to sit but you’ll be inches away from the people coming in and ordering coffee so only a good place for take away. They drinks are 7/10. Overpriced pastries. They staff seemed really flustered and stressed so weren’t much help if you had a question about the menu items.

I’d heard about this place before but finally tried it, and it was worth the wait! Even though there was a line (Sunday rush, no surprise), we didn’t mind and got a cozy table inside. The coffee was nice, the cheese spiral roll was tasty, but the cheesecake stole the show—so creamy and absolutely delicious. I’d definitely come back!

The prices are just a tiny bit expensive (at least for breakfast) If you have some extra euros to spent it's a must visit. The food was delicious and after the meal we were full. If its really crowded, you might wait for a table. Overall we liked it.

Elk Bakery is one of the coziest spots we visited in Italy! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. We came from Saudi Arabia, and they immediately understood that we wanted our orders to be Halal without us even needing to explain much. We discovered Cafe Carducci thanks to the reviews, but our experience went far beyond expectations. Starting our day there was the best decision we could have made. The atmosphere carries a charming soul of history — no surprise, since it’s been around since 1928 in the heart of Verona! The staff were incredibly kind, always smiling and genuinely helpful. Prices were very reasonable, especially considering the quality. We’re already planning to come back to try the restaurant side. Highly recommended — a true gem!

We had a really lovely breakfast here, the pastries were delicious, the coffee is tasty, and the omelette was cooked perfectly. The staff were friendly and helpful. We returned in the afternoon for an espresso and a sfogliatina which gave us a major energy boost!

A nice small coffee shop with tasty pastrie, they also sell some sandwiches, a quite place to talk and spend good time with friends. It has only 4 tables inside where you can find locals coming and going with all the delicius desserts. RECOMENDED!

Best pastry shop in the whole city! Top quality ingredients and a wide selection (croissants, cakes, biscuits, small pastries...). Professional and very polite employees. It’s been my go-to bakery for 6 years, and will surely continue to be.

Maybe it does not have the same level of innovation of other top pasticcerie, but the desserts I tried were fabulous. The pain au chocolat was great: fragrant outside and butterly inside, the pistachio and chocolate cake was perfectly balanced and tasty. I would totally suggest a visit!

This was somewhat of an unexpected experience, we went without reservation while passing through the city on Easter Sunday for a couple of hours. The manager was nice enough to provide a table on this busy day and I must say we were lucky he did! The food is absolute on point and as a first experience in this city I can say I have very high standard set now… service was one of the best outside Michelin star restaurants

We planned to go to different place, but didn‘t got a table there. So we spontanously dropped by and got charmed. Amazing staff! Sunday night in Verona, no many places open, I walked by twice and finally asked them if the "Kitchen was open" and it was the best meals I have in Verona, the place is cozy, the team take care of you with a big smile. The cuisine was amazing, tasty, local and I went to heaven and came back, the wine pairing was perfect, and the dessert was out of the world, stop by and enjoy this perfect place. It is not by the tourist center but it is centric.

Sooooo good!!!! Amarone risotto here is delicious! We had amarone risotto in several restaurants here in Verona, but this is our favorite. The tiramisu was good, however, I didn't enjoy the three dessert - the cookies were too hard fory liking, the mango was too sour, and the Juliet dessert was too sweet. We have returned here and we will certainly be back.

We had a really nice lunch here before we went to the opera. We started with the aracini and had the bigoli al ragu afterwards, both were really good. The wine we had was really nice. The service staff was friendly and proffesional. I recommend booking in advance as it is a very popular restaurant.

not a great experience. I am guessing the girl asked if I wanted to sit or have my coffee and croissant at the bar but I just heard the question if I wanted "at the bar" so I said yes . and then she laughed at me. as I heard what she said to another girl there after I realized she asked a question but I didn't catch the first part which was probably if I wanted to sit down. I am not perfect in my Italian but I understand most. I'm not inclined to return when the staff laughs at customers trying to speak the language. I'd rather give my business elsewhere for my 10 day stay where there is a bit more consideration and professionalism.

Very rude staff member that needs to be fired because this cafe will lose business based on how unwelcoming they are. My parents came in here and ordered food to go. Their grandchildren came to sit beside them with outside food on their outdoor patio. The lady with black hair told them that they couldn't sit there and my dad who speaks Italian told her to go back inside. She threatened to call the police. Picked up the phone pretending to call. Separate from this issue she was also very rude to me when I went in to order in English. Very dismissive, almost laughing as I ordered. Maybe she's unhappy with her job and her life but I recommend not going to this cafe and giving your business.

Worst Bar I've ever been to. The food was bad and tasteless, terrible service and overpriced if sitting at a table. Nothing was enjoyable. Also the bathroom was dirty. The staff was rude and careless. Never again!

We had ice cream from gelateria next door, we sat down and ordered coffee and all was well. Then the boss came (I think) and we were approached very rudely by a waitress that they have a problem with us having ice cream. They brought cups for take away and we finished our coffee on the stairs in front of our table (barely a meter away) - with three kids. Ridiculous and rude!

The affogato was good, the semifreddo was acceptable, not the best one I have tasted. You pay a premium for the location in front of Porta Borsari. Service was ok, there are other nicer cafes in town with a better menu and better prices, but you don’t see the gate then.

Very wide range of options when you are looking for something sweet to eat. We had 2 different desserts, one was cannolo unfortunately it was not that fresh, the other was some sort of a cake with mandorla taste in it, very particular. The pricing is fair in general, which is a good point hence they’re pretty close to the city center.

The almond cake has a dry n crusty outside but the inside was surprising moist and tasty. However I was disappointed to see in the ingredients that they use margarine. The small cute cakes were pricey and too sweet.

Fabulous Italian coffee and cake shop! Stand at the counter for caffè (which is very good) and torta russa (my first, enjoyed it) and then move on. The apple danish (not sure that was it's actual name) was really good as well, flaky and light, not too sweet and with plenty of apple. Pastries baked on site and great coffee, my kind of place 😃

I wouldn’t recommend this café if you're looking for a pleasant experience. I recently visited this café while traveling, hoping for a relaxing spot to enjoy a cup of coffee and a pastry. While the pastry was quite nice, I was disappointed with the coffee, which was rather average. What truly ruined the experience, however, was the atmosphere and the service. Located in a busy tourist area, I was surprised that none of the staff could speak English, which made communication difficult. They were quite rude, shouting when they didn’t have what I ordered, which made me feel uncomfortable. It seems like this is a family-run business, but unfortunately, they didn’t make any effort to be polite or welcoming. A smile or a bit of kindness goes a long way, especially for travelers. In my experience, good hospitality is essential, especially in gastronomy. If you can’t keep your temper in check or treat customers with respect, it creates a negative experience. During my trip through Italy, I never encountered such behavior at other cafés or restaurants, making this place stand out for all the wrong reasons. Sadly, it left me feeling disappointed and affected my overall mood for the day.

The smallest size of torte russa de Verona is the whole cake (piccola) for 13 EUR. So in order to try it, you have to buy a whole cake. Which I did, as I'm a pastry chef and wanted to try it. Unfortunately, I didn't like it at all... Full of artificial almond flavour and the dough is made with margarine, not with real butter, which you can taste immediately. So after one slice, I had to throw away the rest, which is a waste. I don't know if only this pastry shop uses such low quality ingredients or it's like that everywhere, as I don't plan on trying this cake again 😅

What a great little place!!! We came in late on a Friday night 20 minutes before closing time to see if we still could have some dinner. No problem and after 6-7 minutes or so they came to us with a amazing dish (We can still taste it!) and fabulous wine! The service is fantastic and they are super friendly and it has a great atmosphere. We just couldn't stay away from it for the next 3 days so kept coming back for our morning coffees, afternoon aperitivo's and dinners. We'll definitely come back. Grazie mille. Didn't order food so no rating on that. Found this a friendly welcoming place to get a drink on way to/from our holiday accomodation. Friendly bar server happy to advise on drink choices. Try the Select if going Spritz. (We didn't but drank it elsewhere). And, of course, whatever weight of Valpo' takes your fancy. Nice relaxed ambience and outdoor seating in front of the main funicular building so excellent location for that, the castle at the top, the Roman excavations and museum and Pont Pietre. Strongly recommended.

I had a cappucino here every am during my Verona trip and found the coffee and the service impeccable. On my last morning i ordered the small circular pastry that i noticed most people were ordering with their coffee and im so happy to have discovered florentine rice tarts called budini. They are small, not overly sweet, with a pleasantly eggy vanilla-y taste and the pleasing texture of arborio rice. Its like a baked rice pudding tart. Im definitely making them for my next houseguests. Thank you to the energetic smiley crew of ladies who work at this pastry shop with the most gorgeous array of pastries and sweets i have ever seen outside Paris.

Stopped by one morning for a croissant and espresso before embarking on the day. Best croissants we have had, as they were a savoury style croissant dusted with a bit of icing sugar so you got the best of both worlds. Staff were friendly and welcoming.

You will find Italian ‘arroganza’ at its’ best - and worst if unlucky. With 25 years of experience of it, will from now on choose another, a new pasticceria on Nino Pixio few hundred m towards the Centro, where service - at least during few first visits - has been fair and kind. And they have gelato artiginale too!

True barista coffee shop. Cappuccino with oat milk 2.5€ is delicious. Sourdough toast with homemade peanut butter, apples and sunflower seeds (6€) divine. Large table with sockets to work. Super relaxed atmosphere with soft music. Industrial style interior and they also have outdoor seating. They also have different home made cakes. If you want a brea from traditional Italian food (croissants, tramezinis etc) this is a fab alternative. I’m really enjoying my Sunday morning here.

This place is so cute and we are so glad we stumbled upon it. Everything was so fresh and you could tell that it was homemade. The coffee was very tasty and both the pastry and the toast were delicious. Super affordable and such a fun atmosphere.

Such a great place. Perfect place to chill for a bit and have a great coffee and cake. I really loved the coffee and the ambience here. The milk they serve as a standard is oat, but without the extreme oat taste. We've been here during the week at the end of September and we always had a place to sit, but no idea how busy it usually gets. It's also perfect as it's just a 3 minutes walk from the Citadella parking.

One of the rudest experiences I’ve had while in Italy. They get overwhelmed easily and take it out on you. Besides the terrible service, the food was below average. Pastries were cold and the coffee was probably the only thing this place can do well.

I didn't go to any other pastry shop in Verona, but I'd be surprised if they were better than this. Everything looks amazing, the croissants were absolutely perfect, but the real highlight (and surprise) were the macarons. Wow. They were unbelievable. Also the inside of the shop is really unique. It's really worth a stop if you're in Verona.

They have many different types of desserts, including brioche, croissants, macarons, tartlets, entremets and cannoli. I tried the cannoli and one croissant, and they were amazing. The cannoli filling was stracciatella, and I think it was the best cannoli I have ever eaten. It was a really great experience, and if you are travelling to Verona, you must definitely visit this place.

High quality baked goods with beautiful presentation and superb service. We visited after passing this shop a few times on our visit to Verona and were absorbed by the exquisite presentation of this welcoming store. Not only is there so many delicious, delightful items to grab you attention the taste of them is superb. When you purchase anything to takeaway the staff carefully package the items in an immaculate box with gold lettering. Staff are friendly, speak English and very professional, patient, and caring under pressure. This is an extremely busy shop with lots of custom; but not overwhelming for customers.

Don’t go to this place. If you want to get cut in the line, even after you told them you came here the first, the young lady here would serve you but with a very bad attitude, she did not even start the payment with me, instead, she kept on doing her own stuff and let you still wait for the customers after you doing the payment. Shame on her. And the croissant is super dry, said it was pistachio flavor, but no taste of it tbh

The best: variety of salty and sweets. People can eat inside in a couple of tables but everything is self service. They also do coffee. There is a bathroom inside. Good at any time of the day, they bake all day long.

Delicious! We stopped in for some lunch and treats. No one behind the counters spoke English but we were able to point and get what we wanted. Not sure what it is called but we had an egg and ham pastry that was on a big pan behind the counter on the right. They just cut a big rectangle and weighed it. They packaged it and handed it over. Then we went to the sweet counter on the other side to get some Baci di Romeo and Baci di Giulietta (Romeo and Juliet kisses). So good! They tasted like a macaroon cookie with no filling. Crisp on the outside and kind of chewy in the middle. Then we got in line to pay at the register near the door. They take credit cards. Our total was 9,25 for 6 kisses and the slab of egg pie that fed 3 of us. There was a ticket machine to take a number at the door but it wasn't very busy when we went and no one was taking numbers. There is no seating.

Charming patisserie near piazza del Erbe in Verona. We saw the window with all the sweets and it felt really traditional so we decided to taste it. We tasted 3 sweets. The one with pistachios was incredible. It was so tasty and delicious. The other two with creme filling were good but not great. The prices were moderate and the two ladies who serviced us were very polite.

There's a ticketing machine at the entrance, which is useful when it's busy (but on a Fridays afternoon it wasn't). You get what you want and get the bill to be paid at the counter on the right hand of the entrance. The choice of pastries and pies is staggering. I had a maltone bread and it was delicious.

we went to this “pasticcieria Flego” inside the Adigeo shopping center. The place inside is really aesthetic, we ordered two cappuccinos, one salty prosciutto croissant and one small cake (risino). The coffee was really good tasting, the croissant was good but the taste was a bit too simple ( i expected to have cheese but it was without it), the small cake was very sweet but really good. The service was nice and fast. i would suggest you to visit it if you are in the shopping center and you want to take a break from shopping and have a nice capuccino!
