Cafe
Caffè Borsari, located in Verona, is a renowned spot offering a wide variety of specialty coffees. The cafe has been serving its patrons since 1969 and is known for its excellent creamy coffee and freshly made brioches. The menu includes an extensive range of coffee options such as Kilimanjaro, Costa Rica, Oro Blend, and Supremo.
I had the best pistachio croissant ever here! It was so good, so fresh and simply delicious! I’ve had many pistachio croissants, but this was the best one! I tried it fresh from the oven, it was so warm and so delicious. Also the coffee here is great too! I recommend!
Tadeusz G — Google review
A great little atmospheric café with delicious coffee and lots of souvenirs – cups, sweets, cookies, and other take-home products. Definitely a spot you’ll enjoy. You can get here in under 10 minutes on foot from the Arena, and from here it’s just a short walk to the nearby square and basically a stone’s throw to Juliet’s house. A really good strategic stop.
Karol K — Google review
I went twice in one day it was so good! They were kind and patient with my speaking Italian and even said brava! The pistachio cornetto was delicious and the cappuccino with soy milk was perfect. I felt the prices were great too! This will be my daily visit for my 9 days in Verona.
Jill A — Google review
Will always get my coffee here. Latte macchiato’s are delicious. Staff were excellent, so nice, polite and friendly-definitely makes a difference.
C. J — Google review
Please try the raspberry croissant and pistachio croissant!! They were fantastic. This is a small charming caffe with a hustle and bustle atmosphere. We have been back four times and have no complaints. The coffee is delicious and the staff and brilliant. If you are looking for an easy breakfast I recommend both for takeaway and eating in.

Must visit whilst in Verona. Pistachio croissant was amazing, and still warm! Very busy with lots of locals
Aimee J — Google review
Hidden gem with real italian espresso! You can get a real experience by seeing locals popping by to have their espresso! Croissant freshly made! Price is unbeatable! Quick service!
Henny H — Google review
This is a cute little shop. Only a couple tiny tables to sit but you’ll be inches away from the people coming in and ordering coffee so only a good place for take away. They drinks are 7/10. Overpriced pastries. They staff seemed really flustered and stressed so weren’t much help if you had a question about the menu items.

Restaurant
Elk Bakery is a local café that offers a delightful brunch experience with its homemade, seasonal, and classic dishes. Despite its English name, this café has become a popular spot for brunch, serving a variety of options including bagels, pancakes, avocado toasts, and bacon-y eggs. The industrial-chic coffee shop provides fast service and friendly staff along with nicely plated food. It's the perfect place to enjoy an original and colorful breakfast experience that combines international influences with Italian quality.
Recommended by my daughter this is clearly a hotspot. Space is in high demand, but turn over of tables is efficient so worth the wait if you have to Food is amazing and not the typical you would expect. Cold coffee and pancakes with cheese and bacon. Yup feels odd tastes amazing Honestly I recommend this place highly servers are very professional and helpful. Extremely friendly place with good food
Stuart L — Google review
During my month in Italy I had the chance to visit Elk Bakery in Verona, and even though I went only once, it left such a strong impression that I still think about it. The atmosphere was inviting the moment I walked in, with a stylish yet comfortable vibe that made it feel like the perfect stop during a day of exploring. The food was simply outstanding — every bite tasted fresh and seasonal, with brunch dishes that struck the right balance between creative flair and comforting familiarity. The coffee was equally memorable, rich and smooth, the kind you linger over while taking in the energy of Verona. What really elevated the experience was the service — friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which made me feel more like a local than a visitor. Elk Bakery is the kind of place that captures the best of Italian café culture, blending fabulous bites with excellent coffee and warm hospitality. Even though I only visited once during my travels, it stood out as a highlight of my month in Italy and is absolutely a spot I would return to without hesitation on my next trip to Verona.
Scott G — Google review
My family and I recently popped into Elk Bakery for breakfast, and while the place definitely lives up to its well-deserved hype, it was the service that truly made our morning. The vibe is cool and the menu is huge. We ordered quite a spread, including the Club Sandwich, Eggs California, Eggs & Bagel, and the Avocado Croast. Everything was solid—well-made, tasty, and satisfying. The coffee (a cappuccino and an americano) was also perfect. No complaints at all on the food front; it was exactly what we needed to start the day. However, the real standout was our server, Ilaria. With a big family order like ours, things can sometimes get complicated or rushed, but Ilaria was fantastic. She was friendly, super efficient, and genuinely seemed happy to help us. She made sure our coffees and food came out smoothly and checked on us just the right amount. Honestly, it's that kind of straightforward, warm service that makes a restaurant experience special, especially when you're visiting with family. If you're in Verona and looking for a fantastic American-style breakfast or brunch spot, Elk Bakery is an easy recommendation. The food is great, but ask for Ilaria—she'll take great care of you.
Hugo S — Google review
Amazing place for brunch, the menu is well curated with good quality ingredients. Pancakes and Avocado toasts are absolute favourites. Highly recommended place but a prior booking is advisable otherwise the waiting time could increase especially during weekend.
Pooja A — Google review
I’d heard about this place before but finally tried it, and it was worth the wait! Even though there was a line (Sunday rush, no surprise), we didn’t mind and got a cozy table inside. The coffee was nice, the cheese spiral roll was tasty, but the cheesecake stole the show—so creamy and absolutely delicious. I’d definitely come back!
Miss S — Google review
The prices are just a tiny bit expensive (at least for breakfast) If you have some extra euros to spent it's a must visit. The food was delicious and after the meal we were full. If its really crowded, you might wait for a table. Overall we liked it.
Rümeysa — Google review
Elk Bakery is one of the coziest spots we visited in Italy! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious; everything tasted fresh and made with care.👌🏼 What made our experience even more special is how thoughtful the staff were. We came from Saudi Arabia, and they immediately understood that we wanted our orders to be Halal without us even needing to explain much. It was one of the best experiences we had during our trip to Italy.👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Overall, 10/10. Whether you’re looking for great food, a friendly team, or a cozy place to relax, Elk Bakery in Verona is the perfect choice.❤️

Café Carducci, a charming family-owned restaurant in Verona, has been a local favorite since 1928. It's known for its cozy atmosphere and vintage decor, making it a perfect spot for a romantic dinner or a leisurely brunch. The café offers an array of delightful options including piadina sandwiches and sfogliatina pastries. Whether you're stopping by for morning coffee or evening drinks, Café Carducci is sure to provide a welcoming atmosphere and fantastic coffee.
I don’t always feel compelled to write reviews but Cafe Carducci absolutely deserves one. This place was hands down the cafe highlight of my entire trip to Verona. The coffee here is incredible - proper Italian espresso that actually tastes like coffee should. Their pastries are fresh, especially the cream and chocolate croissants which were perfect. You can tell everything is made with care. What really sets this place apart though is the authentic atmosphere. It has that genuine traditional Italian cafe charm - not touristy at all, just real old-school character that makes you want to sit there for hours. The aesthetic is exactly what you picture when you think classic Italian cafe. The service was great - friendly staff who made the experience even better. And honestly, the prices blew me away. So reasonable for the quality you're getting. On average paying €6 for two coffees and two pastries. If you're visiting Verona, seriously make time for this place. It's the kind of spot that makes a trip memorable. I ended up going back each day because it just felt so right.

Great ambience with lots of greenery and flowers on the street. Fantastic food. Loved the presentation of the vegetables. Was the best steak I've had in italy and a 20 year old wine that still had integrity was impressive!

We discovered Cafe Carducci thanks to the reviews, but our experience went far beyond expectations. Starting our day there was the best decision we could have made. The atmosphere carries a charming soul of history — no surprise, since it’s been around since 1928 in the heart of Verona! The staff were incredibly kind, always smiling and genuinely helpful. Prices were very reasonable, especially considering the quality. We’re already planning to come back to try the restaurant side. Highly recommended — a true gem!

We had a really lovely breakfast here, the pastries were delicious, the coffee is tasty, and the omelette was cooked perfectly. The staff were friendly and helpful. We returned in the afternoon for an espresso and a sfogliatina which gave us a major energy boost!

Best pastry shop in the whole city! Top quality ingredients and a wide selection (croissants, cakes, biscuits, small pastries...). Professional and very polite employees. It’s been my go-to bakery for 6 years, and will surely continue to be.

Maybe it does not have the same level of innovation of other top pasticcerie, but the desserts I tried were fabulous. The pain au chocolat was great: fragrant outside and butterly inside, the pistachio and chocolate cake was perfectly balanced and tasty. I would totally suggest a visit!

This was somewhat of an unexpected experience, we went without reservation while passing through the city on Easter Sunday for a couple of hours. The manager was nice enough to provide a table on this busy day and I must say we were lucky he did! The food is absolute on point and as a first experience in this city I can say I have very high standard set now… service was one of the best outside Michelin star restaurants

We planned to go to different place, but didn‘t got a table there. So we spontanously dropped by and got charmed. Amazing staff! The best allergy conscious menu we have ever seen and the food was simply delicious (and beautiful to look at). We loved it and are sad that we don’t have another evening left to go again. Thank you to the whole team, you made our last evening in Verona memorable!

Sunday night in Verona, no many places open, I walked by twice and finally asked them if the "Kitchen was open" and it was the best meals I have in Verona, the place is cozy, the team take care of you with a big smile. The cuisine was amazing, tasty, local and I went to heaven and came back, the wine pairing was perfect, and the dessert was out of the world, stop by and enjoy this perfect place. It is not by the tourist center but it is centric.

The food was amazing, the staff very very kind and prepared, the atmosphere sophisticated. Peculiar the box with cards showing many many kinds of cheese to choose from. A lovely experience.

Sooooo good!!!! Amarone risotto here is delicious! We had amarone risotto in several restaurants here in Verona, but this is our favorite. The tiramisu was good, however, I didn't enjoy the three dessert - the cookies were too hard fory liking, the mango was too sour, and the Juliet dessert was too sweet. We have returned here and we will certainly be back.

Overall, fantastic experience in the heart of Verona. This hidden gem addresses all the different aspects needed to have a great dining experience in Italy. 👨🏽‍🍳The restaurant has an intimate and cozy atmosphere with great music softly in the background. 🎖The staff are very attentive and helpful. We were lucky to get Martina as our waitress. She was friendly from the moment we walked in and managed to elevate the experience with her excellent service. 🍝The food was delicious. Highly recommend the duck or sardine pasta. Overall very complete menu and great house wine. And good value overall. Overall a must stop when visiting Verona!

Caffè Rialto is located in an ancient 18th-century building in the hometown of Romeo and Juliet, overlooking the Roman gate, Porta Borsari. The café's three rooms are adorned with elegant frescoes, creating a captivating vintage ambiance that has made it a beloved gathering spot for locals. Visitors can enjoy great coffee while taking in the convenient location and unique feature of a tree growing into and outside of the building.
Wonderful, sweet café with a nice view. The Torta della nonna was very sugary and soft.

I love pistachio croissant 🥐 It tastes even better than other favourite cafes in Verona. Coffee -meh- can be better! Atmosphere is modern but the location is perfect. Recommended.
Burak Y — Google review
not a great experience. I am guessing the girl asked if I wanted to sit or have my coffee and croissant at the bar but I just heard the question if I wanted "at the bar" so I said yes . and then she laughed at me. as I heard what she said to another girl there after I realized she asked a question but I didn't catch the first part which was probably if I wanted to sit down. I am not perfect in my Italian but I understand most. I'm not inclined to return when the staff laughs at customers trying to speak the language. I'd rather give my business elsewhere for my 10 day stay where there is a bit more consideration and professionalism.
Linda — Google review
Very rude staff member that needs to be fired because this cafe will lose business based on how unwelcoming they are. My parents came in here and ordered food to go. Their grandchildren came to sit beside them with outside food on their outdoor patio. The lady with black hair told them that they couldn't sit there and my dad who speaks Italian told her to go back inside. She threatened to call the police. Picked up the phone pretending to call. Separate from this issue she was also very rude to me when I went in to order in English. Very dismissive, almost laughing as I ordered. Maybe she's unhappy with her job and her life but I recommend not going to this cafe and giving your business.
Cristina S — Google review
Worst Bar I've ever been to. The food was bad and tasteless, terrible service and overpriced if sitting at a table. Nothing was enjoyable. Also the bathroom was dirty. The staff was rude and careless. Never again!

We had ice cream from gelateria next door, we sat down and ordered coffee and all was well. Then the boss came (I think) and we were approached very rudely by a waitress that they have a problem with us having ice cream. They brought cups for take away and we finished our coffee on the stairs in front of our table (barely a meter away) - with three kids. Ridiculous and rude!

The affogato was good, the semifreddo was acceptable, not the best one I have tasted. You pay a premium for the location in front of Porta Borsari. Service was ok, there are other nicer cafes in town with a better menu and better prices, but you don’t see the gate then.

Pasticceria Barini is a charming pastry shop located in the main historic center of Verona, popular among locals and visitors alike. The display is filled with an array of delectable sweets including creamy fruit tarts and airy cream puffs that are sure to satisfy any sweet tooth. It's an authentic spot where you can enjoy a shot of coffee while standing elbow-to-elbow at the counter, just like the locals do.
Typical italian coffee and pastry to enjoy in the morning, with one of the greatest capuccino i ever had and freshly baked croissaint. Do not expect a big, quite place to stand there for hours. It is simply not like that in Italy. 11/10, thank you!
Bogdan B — Google review
Very wide range of options when you are looking for something sweet to eat. We had 2 different desserts, one was cannolo unfortunately it was not that fresh, the other was some sort of a cake with mandorla taste in it, very particular. The pricing is fair in general, which is a good point hence they’re pretty close to the city center.

The almond cake has a dry n crusty outside but the inside was surprising moist and tasty. However I was disappointed to see in the ingredients that they use margarine. The small cute cakes were pricey and too sweet.

Fabulous Italian coffee and cake shop! Stand at the counter for caffè (which is very good) and torta russa (my first, enjoyed it) and then move on. The apple danish (not sure that was it's actual name) was really good as well, flaky and light, not too sweet and with plenty of apple. Pastries baked on site and great coffee, my kind of place 😃
Joe — Google review
I wouldn’t recommend this café if you're looking for a pleasant experience. I recently visited this café while traveling, hoping for a relaxing spot to enjoy a cup of coffee and a pastry. While the pastry was quite nice, I was disappointed with the coffee, which was rather average. What truly ruined the experience, however, was the atmosphere and the service. Located in a busy tourist area, I was surprised that none of the staff could speak English, which made communication difficult. They were quite rude, shouting when they didn’t have what I ordered, which made me feel uncomfortable. It seems like this is a family-run business, but unfortunately, they didn’t make any effort to be polite or welcoming. A smile or a bit of kindness goes a long way, especially for travelers. In my experience, good hospitality is essential, especially in gastronomy. If you can’t keep your temper in check or treat customers with respect, it creates a negative experience. During my trip through Italy, I never encountered such behavior at other cafés or restaurants, making this place stand out for all the wrong reasons. Sadly, it left me feeling disappointed and affected my overall mood for the day.
Aisan — Google review
The smallest size of torte russa de Verona is the whole cake (piccola) for 13 EUR. So in order to try it, you have to buy a whole cake. Which I did, as I'm a pastry chef and wanted to try it. Unfortunately, I didn't like it at all... Full of artificial almond flavour and the dough is made with margarine, not with real butter, which you can taste immediately. So after one slice, I had to throw away the rest, which is a waste. I don't know if only this pastry shop uses such low quality ingredients or it's like that everywhere, as I don't plan on trying this cake again 😅

Stopped by for breakfast and treats on the go and the range of selection of savoury and sweet snacks was wonderful - special recommendation for the typical rossini & torta russa. The ladies behind the counter was very nice to us.

Osteria La Ciacola Cafè Verona is a charming and welcoming cafe that offers a friendly atmosphere and often hosts local musicians for delightful concerts. Whether you're looking for a relaxing morning coffee, a satisfying meal, or an evening drink with friends, this place has great food options for every time of the day. The classic Veneto bar snack, the tramezzino, is a must-try here.
We were staying in the area while in Verona for a few days and arrived in the afternoon, hungry. I found this place on Google maps and trusted my gut. When we arrived, the tables outside were all perched under a tree in a square with happy people having afternoon caffe or spritz. We sat outside too and it was lovely and cool even on a hot afternoon. The staff were super kind and helpful and there was lots of interesting and delicious sounding plates to choose. We ordered two pastas and were so pleasantly surprised when they arrived, plated with such care and they were both delicious! This was our first experience in Verona and really set the vibe. Was a lovely time and would highly recommend!

Delicious food, kind service, and a charming atmosphere that feels like an old Italian home. Perfect for breakfast, brunch but also ideal for an informal lunch or dinner. Far better than a hundred other restaurants, and trust me, we’re picky!

What a great little place!!! We came in late on a Friday night 20 minutes before closing time to see if we still could have some dinner. No problem and after 6-7 minutes or so they came to us with a amazing dish (We can still taste it!) and fabulous wine! The service is fantastic and they are super friendly and it has a great atmosphere. We just couldn't stay away from it for the next 3 days so kept coming back for our morning coffees, afternoon aperitivo's and dinners. We'll definitely come back. Grazie mille. Didn't order food so no rating on that. Found this a friendly welcoming place to get a drink on way to/from our holiday accomodation. Friendly bar server happy to advise on drink choices. Try the Select if going Spritz. (We didn't but drank it elsewhere). And, of course, whatever weight of Valpo' takes your fancy. Nice relaxed ambience and outdoor seating in front of the main funicular building so excellent location for that, the castle at the top, the Roman excavations and museum and Pont Pietre. Strongly recommended.

I've died and gone to heaven. This is a great bakery. And the woman pictured here is an angel. I told her I was sto imparando l'italiano and she told everyone who came in! Great way to start a conversation and learn new words. This pastry is a risini and it is so nice. A few of those, some coffee, fresh squeezed juice, divine.

Pasticceria Dal Fior is a renowned pastry shop in Verona, known for its delectable pastries and sweets. Their pistachio brioches are particularly popular, made with real butter. The shop offers a fine selection of artisan chocolates and small pastries that you can enjoy on-site or take home. While seating inside is limited, there are a few outdoor tables available. Visitors also praise the excellent coffee served at the shop.
The best place for coffee and snacks. Today I had the brioche Pistachio. Amazing! Very kind ladies work here and serve quickly.

I had a cappucino here every am during my Verona trip and found the coffee and the service impeccable. On my last morning i ordered the small circular pastry that i noticed most people were ordering with their coffee and im so happy to have discovered florentine rice tarts called budini. They are small, not overly sweet, with a pleasantly eggy vanilla-y taste and the pleasing texture of arborio rice. Its like a baked rice pudding tart. Im definitely making them for my next houseguests. Thank you to the energetic smiley crew of ladies who work at this pastry shop with the most gorgeous array of pastries and sweets i have ever seen outside Paris.

Ammazza Caffé - Craft Tonics & Specialty Coffee is a modern and cozy boutique coffee stop near Verona's historical center. The owner-operator is knowledgeable about brewing quality coffee and offers a variety of options, including oat cappuccino and oat flat white. In addition to delicious coffee, the café serves freshly pressed juice, alcoholic beverages, super tasty cakes, hummus toast, and carrot cake.
Amazing place! Absolutely loved the toasts (we had avocado and hummus), especially the hummus one, the bread was surprisingly good too, the portion big and the price cheap! They have three types of coffee beans, two of which we tried (the third one they’d run out of), we already knew we don’t like sour coffee much so didn’t love that one but that’s a matter of taste, we just wanted to try it! The other one was great. They only serve oat milk which personally I’m not a fan of (in terms of taste) but I can respect (go cows !!) and apparently is a very good kind. The cakes were all three amazing (chocolate and pear, apple and cinnamon, carrot and almond). All the food and drink was of great quality and very cheap! Sadly there’s barely any space for eating comfortably, it’s mostly designed for working which most people were doing there too but if that’s what you’re looking for, that’s ideal! If it’s not too cold or raining, there’s normal seats outside.

True barista coffee shop. Cappuccino with oat milk 2.5€ is delicious. Sourdough toast with homemade peanut butter, apples and sunflower seeds (6€) divine. Large table with sockets to work. Super relaxed atmosphere with soft music. Industrial style interior and they also have outdoor seating. They also have different home made cakes. If you want a brea from traditional Italian food (croissants, tramezinis etc) this is a fab alternative. I’m really enjoying my Sunday morning here.

This place is so cute and we are so glad we stumbled upon it. Everything was so fresh and you could tell that it was homemade. The coffee was very tasty and both the pastry and the toast were delicious. Super affordable and such a fun atmosphere.

Such a great place. Perfect place to chill for a bit and have a great coffee and cake. I really loved the coffee and the ambience here. The milk they serve as a standard is oat, but without the extreme oat taste. We've been here during the week at the end of September and we always had a place to sit, but no idea how busy it usually gets. It's also perfect as it's just a 3 minutes walk from the Citadella parking.

The carrot polenta almond cake was delicious 🤌🏼 The coffee was good too! Decor and vibe reminds me of a typical Melbourne cafe 👌🏽 Good service and the staff were English speaking which was a bonus. Nice and quiet in the cafe too to have a catch up with a girlfriend or get some work done.

This coffee shop is truly a gem of Verona, perfect for anyone who appreciates real specialty coffee ☕️ We tried both the filter coffee and the batch brew, and each cup was prepared with great care and tasted incredible 🤩 The toasts with sourdough bread and the homemade cakes were absolutely delicious and fresh 🤤 The atmosphere is cozy yet modern, making it a great place to relax or start your day. The staff is welcoming and knowledgeable, which makes the experience even more enjoyable 💙 Highly recommended for coffee lovers and foodies visiting Verona!

Lovely pastries - am so in love with this quaint shop. A local friend recommended it for the best tiramisu. Nice staff. Great variety of pastries, desserts. Interior is beautiful as well. Got a little table and seat in the corner to enjoy my dessert after my lunch. Definitely a place to visit when in Verona. There are a few outlets and they all looked full house. So it is indeed very popular. I had espresso and tiramisu and a mille something - super soft layers and yummy. Love it ❤️

One of the rudest experiences I’ve had while in Italy. They get overwhelmed easily and take it out on you. Besides the terrible service, the food was below average. Pastries were cold and the coffee was probably the only thing this place can do well.

I didn't go to any other pastry shop in Verona, but I'd be surprised if they were better than this. Wonderful Italian coffee shop. They serve all the sophisticated coffees you could want. The pastries are all fresh and wonderful. It’s not my thing to eat pastries for breakfast, but when in Verano… no choice. Delicious but missed the protein!

They have many different types of desserts, including brioche, croissants, macarons, tartlets, entremets and cannoli. I tried the cannoli and one croissant, and they were amazing. High quality baked goods with beautiful presentation and superb service. We visited after passing this shop a few times on our visit to Verona and were absorbed by the exquisite presentation of this welcoming store. Not only is there so many delicious, delightful items to grab you attention the taste of them is superb. When you purchase anything to takeaway the staff carefully package the items in an immaculate box with gold lettering. Staff are friendly, speak English and very professional, patient, and caring under pressure. This is an extremely busy shop with lots of custom; but not overwhelming for customers.

Don’t go to this place. If you want to get cut in the line, even after you told them you came here the first, the young lady here would serve you but with a very bad attitude, she did not even start the payment with me, instead, she kept on doing her own stuff and let you still wait for the customers after you doing the payment. Shame on her. And the croissant is super dry, said it was pistachio flavor, but no taste of it tbh

A very wide variety of desserts, you can also ask for what’s special of Verona or their place. The lady was very helpful to explain what they have and what would be their suggestions. The pricing was also fair, definitely recommended!!

The best: variety of salty and sweets. People can eat inside in a couple of tables but everything is self service. They also do coffee. There is a bathroom inside. Good at any time of the day, they bake all day long.

Delicious! We stopped in for some lunch and treats. No one behind the counters spoke English but we were able to point and get what we wanted. Not sure what it is called but we had an egg and ham pastry that was on a big pan behind the counter on the right. They just cut a big rectangle and weighed it. They packaged it and handed it over. Then we went to the sweet counter on the other side to get some Baci di Romeo and Baci di Giulietta (Romeo and Juliet kisses). So good! They tasted like a macaroon cookie with no filling. Crisp on the outside and kind of chewy in the middle. Then we got in line to pay at the register near the door. They take credit cards. Our total was 9,25 for 6 kisses and the slab of egg pie that fed 3 of us. There was a ticket machine to take a number at the door but it wasn't very busy when we went and no one was taking numbers. There is no seating.

Charming patisserie near piazza del Erbe in Verona. We saw the window with all the sweets and it felt really traditional so we decided to taste it. We tasted 3 sweets. The one with pistachios was incredible. It was so tasty and delicious. The other two with creme filling were good but not great. The prices were moderate and the two ladies who serviced us were very polite.

Very cute place for breakfast with lovely coffee and pastries. We tried the pesto foccacine and it was great too. Not many tables to sit in though.

We came in on a whim, it was a major mistake.😂 Chocolate lovers or sweet seekers be warned: if you do pop in, you might not leave. You might actually forget that you have anything at all to do other than gawk and admire at their mood elevating morsels. I forgot about our dinner reservation 😂 And the lovely spread of pastries on their counter is the type of display you spend five minutes staring at before saying 'Ok, I will take one of everything please'
Angelina C — Google review
There's a ticketing machine at the entrance, which is useful when it's busy (but on a Fridays afternoon it wasn't). You get what you want and get the bill to be paid at the counter on the right hand of the entrance. The choice of pastries and pies is staggering. I had a maltone bread and it was delicious.

we went to this “pasticcieria Flego” inside the Adigeo shopping center. The place inside is really aesthetic, we ordered two cappuccinos, one salty prosciutto croissant and one small cake (risino). The coffee was really good tasting, the croissant was good but the taste was a bit too simple ( i expected to have cheese but it was without it), the small cake was very sweet but really good. The service was nice and fast. i would suggest you to visit it if you are in the shopping center and you want to take a break from shopping and have a nice capuccino!

We went there to sit and “enjoy” our sunday breakfast since it’s a coffee shop. Yet, it felt more like a train station coffee place, there was always a rush and customers were “subtly” inclined to get up as soon as possible. If I would like to be in a rush for a sunday breakfast, why would I go on a coffee shop? The stuff wasn’t able to smile to any of their customers, it was another rude attitude of them. The toilet was very neglected, it needs more attention and repair. We ordered 2 brioche, it was not fresh or tasty. Yet the worst point is their rude, non-smiling behavior of the workers, definitely not recommended.
Ekin — Google review
Tourist-hater place. Stayed there for 20 minutes, besides the fake-kindness, I didn’t see any worker smiling at anyone. Horrible service and vibes. Felt like train station. The place was crowded thanks to its location. But neither the tables nor one bathroom were sufficient. Never again. If you hate people or the tourist, stay home or work with computers.

They charged us more for what we ordered and when we politely asked for the bill they became very angry because they obviously did not want to show it and eventually printed the “card receipt” which was pointless as it does not show the price charged per item, only the total sum we paid which we knew already. They pretended suddenly to not understand what we were asking for (their english was fine when we were ordering) and completely ignored us. They kept talking between them and I heard them saying “inglese stupida”. Just because we are tourists and we do not speak Italian, we are not idiots and not know how much things should cost. And i am not even English but okay, according to them whoever speaks English must be English. Anyways, we did not want to spoil our day and we were clearly not getting anywhere and we just left.

A typical coffee and dessert place by the old castle of Verona. It seemed very authentic so we got in to try and we weren't disappointed.

Super great quality of bread. I’ve got margarita which is great. Perfect ratio between sauces and breads. Warm and crispy. Sadly no place to eat. Still worth to come. Recommend👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

This place is amazing, it has many positive things to highlight such as the attention of all the guys, the positive and friendly atmosphere and that literally the taste of everything is something unique, more than a bakery is an experience. I would like to recommend only 1 product but they are all really good, worthy of being tried. It is an easily accessible place in the center, if you are in Verona you must try this place that I 100% recommend.

An alternative to the heavy and gluten focaccia! Here tou will not find an overload of options but you will find quality! Bread, pizza and focaccia up to 48 hours growing and nade with sourdough! A great alternative and healthier bakery that definitely worths your visit when in Verona!

Great focaccia, delicious panini. Pizzas looked great but I didn't get the chance. There's a park nearby to enjoy.
Roby M — Google review
Such a lovely surprise. The different types of focaccia we had during our two days there were absolutely delicious. My favourite was the potato and sausage one, which was packed with flavour and lots of potatoes. The same goes for the sweet slices they were selling
Mia M — Google review
Amazing quality focaccia. The traditional variety is the best. I also really liked the spelt cookie. Warm and friendly customer service as well!
Mukund B — Google review
Forget about the pizza, foccaca, go for the bread! A welcomed delight for a snack, especially since they have so many ingredients in those breads. I had tomatoes and olives... OK I had a pizza, it was wonderful, but I appreciate that I can have a different meal in the morning.
Bojan R — Google review
This charming and modern spot is a true gem. We tried two types of focaccia and a slice of pizza – everything was absolutely delicious. The textures were perfect, the flavors rich and well-balanced. The olive focaccia in particular stood out – wonderfully crisp on the outside, soft and airy inside, and packed with savory olive goodness. If you’re in Verona, this bakery is a must-visit for a quick bite or a flavorful snack.

I can say that all the baked goods in this place are made with love and passion. I have tried almost everything possible here. Literally everything is stunning and so delicious plus light on the stomach and doesn’t cause bloating due to the quality of the flour used. I wish all the success to this family business, they deserve more.

One of the best bakeries I’ve been in Italy. Really kind staff, with so much knowledge about bread, ancient grains and natural fermentation. The savoury pastries made with local farm vegetables are also unmissable. What a rare find, to have really good bread in Italy.

One morning, while passing by, I decided to visit Caffetteria Pasticceria Gnesato Verona. The bakery had a pleasant interior and the staff provided friendly and efficient service. The prices were average for such establishments. Their brioches stood out due to their generous size and abundant cream filling. I will definitely return in the future. Additionally, they also served excellent coffee and cookies for those looking for a delightful treat.

Alpigusto, a quaint bakery tucked away near the bustling Piazza delle Erbe in Verona, offers an array of delectable treats. The establishment boasts a convenient and central location, making it easily accessible to locals and tourists alike. With its assortment of freshly baked breads and delightful desserts such as the Piggy, Alpigusto provides a tempting culinary experience.

Quite expensive for a takeaway. Focaccias/small pizzas around €5. Ours were warmed to the point that they were burning hot.

Small place, many varieties but expensive and no place for sit. Taste was standard we paid 6 euro for one cheese&pretzel.

Sub par snacks with average ingredients and some of them not so fresh (made the day before at least). All this at a price above average.
Serban D — Google review
Little bakery just off of the busy Piazza delle Erbe. Bought a baguette and a dessert called ‘Piggy’. The bread wasn’t the best but probably because it was at the end of the day, the ‘Piggy’ dessert was so good that my partner and I went back the next day to get another!

Nothing special. At the moment of this review: Panini for 4.20€ but if you take the menu (panino, a cup of fruits and a water) you pay 5.50€. Note for tourists: it’s only take away

Great source for bread, deli & food to go. Buon posto per pane, formaggi, salumi ecc. We got tired tramping out to the supermarket but this covered a lot of our needs. If you want sandwich/lunch ingredients or just grab some snacks to go with your wine to eat at yr lodging, this place is ideal.
